ZAZA in Little Rock, Arkansas offers a unique dining experience with its build-your-own salads and Napoli-style pizza cooked in a Neapolitan wood-fired oven. The restaurant prides itself on using locally sourced ingredients from Little Rock farms to create delicious dishes like roasted chicken caesar salads and Italian sausage pizzas. With modern decor and a counter-serve setup, ZAZA provides a stylishly casual atmosphere for patrons to enjoy their meals.
This place is a surprise. From the outside is nice, but the inside is great. The attendants are kind and helpful, and the prices are not bad. The salads are excellent, while the pizza, the crust of which is made out of semolina, is the best we have eaten in quite a while. The Gelato, made on the premises, is fresh and excellent. This place is worth the time and the dollars.

The space was oddly cold inside, which was surprising with the pizza oven going. I got the Driftwood Mushroom Pizza — cheese was solid (a bit salty), and the pesto was flavorful but used sparingly. The dough under the toppings was extremely thin — probably intentional, but I’m partial to thicker pizza bases, so it caught me off guard. The crust edges were fine, and the slight sweetness wasn’t bad, just not really my thing. Pizza took about 60 minutes, which they quoted accurately. Mushrooms were standard. Wifi was surprisingly strong (~32 down / ~16 up), and the water was good with lemons available. Overall, it had potential, but between the super thin base and light toppings, I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.
Joshua C — Google review
Always delicious and fresh. The salads are hands down some of the best in the state. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. The wood fired pizza is to die for and then who doesn't want fresh gellato afterwards? Must go!
Eric — Google review
I recently went with my girlfriend (a longtime patron of this establishment) for lunch. My pizza was good but cold. Her salad had half an avocado that she couldn’t cut. When she approached the manager she was told “They are not in season”. No apology no offer of a discount on next visit… nothing. Common sense …don’t serve food that is inedible. Not impressed will not go back.
Josie A — Google review
Cool little pizza place serving up pizza, salads, and gelato. We tried the Four Seasons and Zaza Italian Sausage. Both were very good. Great crust. Possibly a little on the crispy/burnt side but not by too much. It’s hard to tell from the photos. It wasn’t completely full in there and pizzas took about 20-30 min to come out. Got some cookies and cream gelato on the way out. It’s a nice serving size for the large.

This is just a great place. Have watched it grow in popularity and food offerings. All the food is fresh and taste fantastic. The staff are all friendly and eager to help. The day we ate it was nice out, and the crowd was all outside. Everyone so friendly and talking to each other. This is a hidden gem at the old heights theater!
Jay D — Google review
Went on a Friday afternoon so they were quite busy but the food was really good. Wasn’t too hot so we sat outside.

I went for the first time during lunch and expected it to be very busy because of the beautiful weather. They were busy, but Katie and Penelope were so quick with my order, and of course the food was 10/10! I had everything I wanted just a few minutes after walking in!

Steak house
American restaurant
Restaurant
Doe's Eat Place is a well-established American restaurant located in downtown Little Rock, known for its casual and relaxed atmosphere. This charming eatery has been a favorite among locals and even big names like Bill Clinton for years, making it a true Little Rock landmark. The restaurant offers a variety of classic American cuisine, with its specialty being top-grade steaks such as porterhouse, sirloin, and T-bone.
Man I wanna talk about those tamales that I totally don't have a photo of. Honestly they aren't the prettiest tamales and no photo would do them justice. Now let's talk tamales. I love tamales. They might be my single favorite food. Thing is, these aren't traditional tamales. Don't let that scare you though because these bad boys are wild homie. So catch a flight to Little Rock, Arkansas today. Also the burger was good but lord it was no tamale.
Mark L — Google review
Bit of a hole in the wall feel to it, eclectic, lots of history and stuff on the walls. Really nice server and great service overall, but the food was just a little bit off on the night we went. The salads were oily and wilted. We tried the tamales and chili, just not our taste. They served us boiled potatoes even though the steak came with fries, but the potatoes were devoid of seasoning, so it was confusing. The steak was a bit greasy and overly charred for our taste. Maybe will try it again in the future.
Andrew S — Google review
Genuinely good sized portions served family style unless you really like to pack in double and triple portions. Just a few select items done nicely. Handcut fries is a bonus for me. Pleasant atmosphere and simple; Family run and operated 👍👍
Nick M — Google review
A steakhouse with red-and-white-checkered tablecloths? Yes please. Steak was cooked to perfection (out of this world porterhouse), portions are generous, fries are incredible. Staff were helpful and pleasant and kind. No frills, casual vibe, incredible food. If you are in Little Rock and don’t go here you are making a big mistake! It’s that good!!

Stayed overnight in Little Rock on a road trip & came across Doe's Eat Place searching for a bite to eat. Reviews seemed good & we decided to check it out. Was not disappointed at all. Ordered a 2.5 lb T-bone cooked medium rare. This was served family style with fries, butter potatoes, a salad & toast. Steak was cooked perfectly & had great flavor. Rubbed the fries in the steak drippings & that was next level. Cool low key atmosphere too & our waitress, Rikki, was awesome. Drank some local Lost 40 Honey Bock, which was impressive. A minor disappointment was that they were out of the porterhouse steaks that night. Highly recommend eating here when in town.
Andrew R — Google review
Went for our 56th Anniversary. Ordered steak medium well, came just shy of welldone. Neither of us could eat much of our steaks. Fries were very good. Waitress was very nice. We didn’t complain about the steaks. Took them home for the dogs who hesitated to eat them but finally did. Last good steak I had was at the Butcher Shop in Memphis. We’ll go back and try the tamales but not the steaks. .

Doe's is a steakhouse staple in LR. I've always heard/read about it. FINALLY ate there and YES indeed will be returning! Great food and service!
Nonjala K — Google review
We had they most relaxing, tasty, and comfortable business lunch here today. My only regret is that I haven't been here before! A coworker and I were treated to lunch by our bosses, and she recommended this location. The other three of us had never been, so let her lead. We started with tamales and chili, which were FANTASTIC! Then we shared a family-style 3-pound porterhouse steak, cooked a fantastic medium. The service was fast yet not rushed. We had more than enough time to enjoy our lunch, and our glasses never went empty. I didn't try a burger, but after seeing many walk past us, they surely looked good and were very popular! The group ate for about $150 after a much-earned tip. I'll definitely return with my wife for lunch one day, but I am not sure we'd be comfortable in this part of town after dark.

New American restaurant
Lunch restaurant
Restaurant

It is known for its stylish and hospitable atmosphere, where patrons can enjoy innovative cocktails and consistent menu offerings. The restaurant's patio provides a welcoming setting to savor their renowned Peck Salad for lunch or indulge in one of their beloved seasonal desserts, such as the annual favorite, strawberry shortcake. Trio's stands out among other local spots for its commitment to sustainability and culinary creativity.
I finally made it to this spot after living in Little Rock for **over 11 years**—and wow, what a treat! My coworkers and I headed there for lunch, and thank goodness one of them made reservations because this place fills up **FAST** during lunchtime. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated promptly, setting the tone for a fantastic meal. Our server? **A total gem**—energetic, engaging, and made the whole experience even better (sadly, I didn’t catch his name!). Now, onto the food. **Shrimp enchiladas? A+**—so delicious! My coworkers also got the hot crab dip and practically **licked the plate clean**, so I’ll take their word that it was amazing. Dessert was a hit too—a couple of them ordered the strawberry shortcake and were **happily slurping away** like kids in a candy store. Overall, **a top-tier dining experience!** I’ll definitely be back—this time with the hubby. **Pro tip:** Make reservations if you’re heading there for lunch during the week—it gets packed, and we saw plenty of people waiting for a table!
C. C — Google review
The chicken enchiladas were delicious and were topped with a flavorful sauce. Guac on top was a nice touch too. I didn’t care for the cheese on the rice, it had solidified by the time it reached our table and didn’t really go well with the rice. I would’ve preferred no cheese at all or a cheese sauce instead. If I were to get that again, I would definitely ask for no cheese on the rice. The black beans lacked flavor and needed more seasoning. I didn’t get to try their strawberry shortcakes because it’s only served during summer but I hear it’s amazing! I’ll definitely be back to try that!
Mehrosh F — Google review
Tried one of the March dinner specials and had a great experience overall. The cherry blossom cocktail was really tasty — nice mix of flavors. Even the water had good flavor, which I always appreciate. The hot crab dip was a standout: creamy, flavorful, and served hot with the perfect dip-to-toast ratio. The crab came in nice chunks, and the bread made great scoops (though a bit dry). I went with the crab cakes to keep with the theme — fresh crab, great flavor, and solid breading. The mango rice was a bit disappointing — decent texture, but the mango flavor didn’t really come through. The aioli was really good, just wish there had been more of it. For dessert, I got the banana pudding — very good overall. The cream on top was fluffy, the crust had great flavor (a bit firm), and everything came together nicely. I am partial, though — I love banana desserts. Parking is a little tricky due to construction, but they offer valet which helps. Clean single-stall restrooms with vacancy indicators, and service was quick and attentive. Total was $67.91 before tip — not cheap, but felt fair for a solid dinner. I’d recommend it.
Joshua C — Google review
My experience was so surprising. When I approached the establishment the workers were ready for valet and doors opened right on time for 11. I went straight to the bar area and started looking around and saw myself surrounded by various seniors in the building. I felt a little uncomfortable at first but once you sit there everybody is laid back and the servers are wonderful! I started with the peach margarita that did not let me down at all and then I ordered the crab dip which was so meaty full of meat and the cheese wasn’t so overwhelming. I got the lunch BLT which I didn’t get a pic of 😞 but it’s loaded with bacon avocado and yellow tomatoes for a sweet taste. I then got bolder and ordered the lavender martini that just gave such a relaxing taste of lavender and liquor just the right amount on both ends. BIG SHOUT OUT TO MY WAITER I DID FORGET HIS NAME BUT WHEN I DO I WILL EDIT HIS NAME ON HERE HE MADE MY DRINKS AND MADE SURE I WAS GOOD THE WHOLE TIME BUT MY HAT TIPS TO MS. STEPHANIE SHE IS ONE OF THE HEAD HUNCHOS BUT SHE IS GREAT AND DARLING THANK YOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL HOSPITALITY AND KIND WORDS AND JUST BEING DOWN TO EARTH. YALL GAVE ME A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AND CANT WAIT TO COME IN THE EVENING FOR MORE GREAT DISHES. People please find this hidden gem that has been in the area for over 38 years. They stand on the name and I love this spot. This is a good one for you out of town folks as well. FYI DONT FORGET THEY HAVE TWO SEPARATE TIMES FOR DINING. I WENT FOR 11am-2pm THOSE ARE LUNCH HOURS AND THEY REOPEN AT 5-9pm.
Bianca W — Google review
So fantastic. The lobster bisque is to die for, you will never eat canned soup again! Both of us had the Kobe burger and I can say I’ve never had a better burger in Arkansas. Just wow, and our waitress was nothing short of perfect ❤️💞🥰
Juliet M — Google review
This is a nice white-tablecloth place without the tablecloths. Sort of a tearoom atmosphere but with broad menu. “Peck’s salad” is famous locally. All very good. Nice covered patio to eat outside too.
Michael H — Google review
Never had a bad meal here. Specials are always something to look forward to. But what I really love them for is doing the heavy lifting for my holiday meals. I’ve used them for Thanksgiving and Christmas to make sides and desserts I just didn’t have the capacity for and everything is always so wonderful. Little Rock is lucky to have Trios!

Thai restaurant
Restaurant
KBird is a Thai restaurant with great food, great ambiance and traditional cooking. It is a little pricey but worth it for this quality of food. The drawback is that the food feels tailored to an 'Western' niche since it's kinda bland.
Native Thai here. Not a single Thai in the kitchen but one of the best Thai food in the country. Didn't expect to find this gem in the middle of Arkansas. Not just the food that is awesome, all the decorations in the restaurant mimic the real traditional restaurants in Thailand. Extra points for educating people about chopsticks in Thai culture. Good job!
Tawatos P — Google review
Good food, great ambiance, bringing back the slow cook tradition and traditional cooking. Caveat is that feels as it is tailoring to an "Western" niche since the food is kinda bland. You get the hint but the boldness of the Thai seasoning is not there. Still is worth to try it.
Angel T — Google review
Awesome and original food! Everything I've eaten there has been wonderful and flavorful! I love the Chicken Pad Thai. You can order it with as much heat as you desire. The Jackfruit with Sticky Coconut Rice is happiness in your mouth! The decor is not fancy by any means but I love going there because it feels like you're eating in a friend's kitchen :)
Andrea H — Google review
This was so amazing. Hands down the best Thai food I've had. Everything tastes so incredibly fresh. I got the red curry, and cannot wait to try more. The atmosphere is awesome as well. Def a casual, friendly, small hole in the wall atmosphere.
Dasha C — Google review
Went to one of the khantoke - it was a great experience. The owner explained all the northern thai dishes and their origin. Alcoholic drinks were byob. All the food was served family style, so potentially be prepared to make friends with the people sitting next to you. I cant name all the dishes, but highly recommend it, there is something for everyone: fish, poultry, lots of veggies, pork etc. Can't wait to go back. Went back for another khantoke. Awesome again. Favorite dishes were the whole catfish, curry, and a noodle soup type dish. So many other very good dishes too.
Andrew S — Google review
Awesome food!!! The menu changes often. Fresh mango on sticky rice covered with coconut milk was an excellent finish to the meal. Way laid back atmosphere. Be there when they open or you'll be waiting! They also do carry out.
Andrea H — Google review
Best Thai restaurant in Little Rock. Had the Pad Thai and Mango dessert and can't wait to try all the rest of the entrees. Very kitschy atmosphere with little tidbits about Thailand everywhere.

The food was amazing. I had the Red Curry with Thai Vegetables. This was a first time visit for my wife and me; it won't be our last. The atmosphere is very quaint and the staff is very pleasant. Can't wait to try another dish.

Seafood restaurant
Flying Fish is a casual seafood eatery located by the Arkansas River. It offers a variety of seafood dishes with a Cajun twist, including fried catfish and po' boy sandwiches. The menu features items like fried oysters, jambalaya, crab legs, frog legs, grilled red snapper fillets from South and Central America, fish tacos, and locally farmed catfish. The restaurant has a fast-casual format and welcomes families with no dress code or fancy expectations.
Have been here a couple of times when we visit Arkansas on occasion. It’s near the Museum of Discovery that we like with grandchildren. Both times I ordered the boiled shrimp platter. My wife got the fish tacos. The shrimp is great. I also loved that there was no fried food in this dish. Added a little Louisiana hot sauce in the cocktail sauce for a bit of a kick. Loved trying a bite of the fish tacos as well. Will return.
M M — Google review
The food here has its own unique character and cooking presentation. Once you find your favorite dishes you will easily come back regularly for more.
Nick M — Google review
The fried oysters were delicious and so was the cocktail sauce & tartar sauce. I'm from the east coast and its hard finding good seafood here because Its all frozen. The shrimp where freezer burned! You could smell it! We paid $25 for the shrimp and oyster combo and the shrimp were freezer burned! Who's looking over your food supplies here? They should be fired. I could only imagine what else they allow to be served! We will not be back!
Fe — Google review
This place was great! If you are looking for an upscale dining experience, this is not it. If you are looking for great seafood cooked with soul, this is the place! What I appreciated was the fact that they have nearly as many non-fried options as they have fried options. My wife got the Cajun plate while I got the grilled Mahi plate (with chimichurri). We also got some pickled green tomatoes and coleslaw slaw. Everything was prepared very well and had great flavor. Nothing was overcooked. We now plan to visit the location Memphis since that is much closer to home.
Joel U — Google review
The line moved fast. You order and the buzzer they give you goes off when it's ready. IWe ordered oysters, oyster po-boy and gumbo to go with our beers. It didn't take long after ordering for it to be ready. It was awesome!
Mike K — Google review
If you like seafood then you won't be disappointed. Service was fast and it was a neat place to sit and eat. The Red Snapper we got didn't even fit on the plate !
Danielle D — Google review
My favorite dinner at the Flying Fish - Caddo! Caddo is tilapia & shrimp served over white rice, topped with a creamy Cajun cheese sauce. So good! I get the same meal every time we visit!
Jenni O — Google review
🛑DO NOT GO HERE 🛑Hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I ordered fish tacos and they showed up in a stale hard shell, not what I asked for, and the fish was breaded even though I clearly ordered grilled. When I tried to get it fixed, the guy at the counter was rude, dismissive, and acted like it was my fault. No apology, no effort to make it right. The food was terrible and the service was even worse. Save yourself the disappointment, this place isn’t worth a single dollar.

The Root Cafe, located on Main St. in Little Rock, is a laid-back spot with a newly expanded patio area for guests to enjoy their sandwiches and salads made from locally sourced ingredients. The cafe has recently completed a 300-square-foot expansion of its patio, adding more space and improving the flow in and out of the building. Additionally, The Root Cafe has expanded its catering services to offer a wide range of options for various events.
I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant since we got to Little Rock! They have two locations. What really sets them apart is the way their ingredients are sourced. They partners with local nurseries and farms to get their ingredients. We ordered the Mushroom burger and the Deviled Egg Salad Salad. Both were very good and filling! Sometimes when food is vegetarian it isn’t filling but that was not the case. portion sizes were perfect! Great atmosphere and green space!!

Stopped here after a visit to the Esse museum. Were recommended the pimento burger and Tofu Banh mi by the server. The tofu banh mi sandwich was good but missing the "banh mi" flavor. Pimento burger was light and fresh definitely no fillers.

Very good braut and peppers (no bun for gluten free option). French fries really good also and side salad. Want to come back soon for dinner and try the dumplings. Lots of room for seating inside and outside.

Stopped in with a group of friends during the Little Rock half marathon weekend in 2025. Food was good! We’d come back again!
Jill H — Google review
I walked in one minute to closing time. My fault did not realize what that time was. I Ubered there from my hotel because the reviews and menu looked great. 99.9% of restaurants would have said “Sorry we are closed” Nope, not this place. They mentioned it was closing time then the cook said “I can whip up a burger for you”. I was floored, I was actually in a restaurant that loves their customers! On top of that, the burger was excellent and everyone was friendly and smiling. I wish I were in Little Rock more often so I could come back.

Been coming here for years. I guess you could say I’m a regular lol. It feels like home to me. Love the staff, atmosphere, and of course the food. I want to give a shout out to Brandon in the back of house, he is always so positive and very cool! 😎 This is the place to be if you are in Little Rock!

Absolutely delicious food. Finally came here after 6 years of work trips to the area and saying I'd go. Guy Fieri came here years ago. I try to visit places he has gone to. Food - so fresh and tasty. They source their food from local Arkansas farms. You can immediately tell the quality in food. The Root Benny is a great choice to get a bit of everything. The pancake was so fluffy. Butter and syrup were amazing as those were locally sourced. Service - quick to get our food after ordering. Servera were friendly. Atmosphere - inside and outside seating. This place has the best gluten free burgers. The service was fast and easy. The patio is awesome with misters, fans, a play area for kids. Central location in Little Rock if you want to walk around. They have locally baked gluten free buns and beer. All in all, it's perfect.

Excellent southern style restaurant. Fun atmosphere. extensive menu with many options. Cheese sauce w nachos was a devine appetizer. I loved the fried green tomatoes, the cajun salad, and the red fish was cooked to perfection w some lemon butter sauce and shrimp Rice. Hot bread pudding dessert was excellent.

Very quaint restaurant with a welcoming staff. I ordered the Red Fish Ponchatrain which was a nice size and also loaded with plenty of crab as toppings. I also ordered cabbage as a side which had a nice spicy kick without being too hot. The creole vegetable soup was hit. Check this place out if you are in the area. I went on a Friday around 5 PM. It fills up fast so get there early for dinner.

I’ve known about this restaurant ever since their other location on Bowman. This restaurant now resides off Cantrell going towards the BIG DAM BRIDGE. The new location greets you with the front patio which is available if the inside isn’t what you want. Going inside you have a full bar but limited seating in my opinion. I feel this establishment needs more seating but only because this establishment is so good. That’s my only complaint and I mean only complaint other than that I went for brunch and I was able to sit in and little corner by myself and the atmosphere is peaceful and settling. Hearing the guys at the bar and the low conversation I was in chill mode and ready to eat. First I started with the buttered garlic frog legs which were so good. Frog legs I’ve tasted in the past had a tainted taste to them and I really shun away from the whole frog leg experience but the description made me curious to go ahead and try again. Y’all the meat was flavorful and the butter sauce just made them melt in your mouth. They came out hot and ready which made it even better. I had the snapper for my main meal with crawfish rice with crawfish tails within the rice. The service everytime I go is always on point. They are down to earth and it’s a laid back feel. I actually came for a dish I had a while ago which is a deep fried round crap with a sauce which I don’t remember the details but just ask them about it. Pics coming next time I go for dinner. This is a great place for everyone and kids included. Now the menu is not kid friendly and I’m not aware if they have a kids menu so heads up on that. Definitely put them on your list.

Went back today and food was 10 out of 10 . Best tartar sauce around. The catfish was thin but great . I will add more photos as I keep going back. Yes I ordered a grilled cheese I'm weird , the grilled cheese small but tasty,Gumbo hot and dipping the bread into it was delicious.

I came in after the lunch rush and before dinner. (1400) I sat at the bar, was immediately greeted by the bartender Rebecca. My Irish Mule was perfect and she had several recommendations without being bossy (it's an art.) Shrimp Tchoupitoulas, get it. You'll thank me later. Perfectly cooked shrimp in a butter/wine sauce, a nod to the French influence of the Cajun, thinkly sliced mushrooms and green onion razzle dazzle. The loaf of bread was deceptively delicious. It had a nice crust with a fluffy middle, perfect for soaking up the sauce. The red beans and rice came as a generous portion, but lacking in salt. Truly a great experience with the locals at the bar.

Recently moved from Fayetteville, and had heard about this place from many folks. A friend and I tried it for lunch one day and were not disappointed. Great menu with many options, excellent service and comfortable atmosphere. We both enjoyed a lot of great Cajun food, and very well prepared...almost like being in New Orleans. Will definitely return!

Ate there today for a late afternoon lunch. If you are truly looking for an authentic New Orleans restaurant, look no more. We had fried oysters and frog legs meunière served with real French bread. Their batter is light and crispy, not over salted like most. We will definitely go back to try other dishes. Also, had the pleasure of meeting the owner, very friendly with a genuine New Orleans spirit!

This was a very disappointing meal. My husband had the Paul's Favorite (salmon) and I had the red beans and rice. His salmon was cooked properly, although it did not appear grilled, as the menu stated, but was flavorless due to the awful sauce it was covered in. The sauce consistency was strange, too thick for a cream sauce, and whatever thickening agent was used was not cooked enough. It was so bland that he had to salt it 4 times. My red beans and rice were okay, but again, required a lot of salt. Our server, Ray Ann, was very attentive, and super friendly. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who has taste buds, especially for the price.

🌮✨ 5 Stars – An Experience Worth Repeating! From the first bite to the last sip, everything was exceptional. The guacamole was luxuriously fresh, creamy yet vibrant, crowned with herbs and a hint of heat that brought it to life. Each salsa offered its own little story, from tangy to tropical, all tasting like they were made just moments before hitting the table. The steak fajitas? Perfection. Tender, juicy strips layered over caramelized peppers and onions, all sizzling beneath a blanket of melted cheese, indulgent yet balanced with the right smoky depth. The cocktail with the chili-salt rim was the perfect match…bright, spicy, and refreshingly bold. To top it all off, the ambiance was absolutely perfect: warm lighting, inviting energy, and a lively atmosphere that made every dish taste even better. The service was exceptional…friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. A must-visit for anyone who believes great food, great people, and great vibes make the best kind of dining experience!

The food is yum, the restaurant is kinda loud, but service really leaves something to be desired. Feels like they over-seat the restaurant, which overwhelms the staff. My table of 3 was consistently forgotten about (we had to ask for water refills, drink refills, and even that we wanted to order food, and eventually tab out), which was wild considering we were sat near the kitchen entrance. Would give this another try when it is less busy. Corn ribs were delicious.

Liz was AMAZING! She was truly so kind and took time to make us feel like we were her only table on a busy night. The salsa, pineapple salsa, and creamy jalapeño onion dip were fantastic and so flavorful. You have to try the lime vinaigrette. Photos are the shrimp salad and the Plato 47. Everything was phenomenal. The restaurant was clean and decorated beautifully. Such a great date night!!! Thank you Liz💕

Great food, and great service. We were there about 4 hours before the Arkansas vs. Arkansas State game around noon. The place was packed with fans from both teams. Great atmosphere. We were seated right away and our waitress was there immediately to get our order. Drinks and food came out fast and was really good! Will definitely go back to this place! Highly recommend!

My third time here, as usual food is delicious. We got cheese dip with ground beef in, called queso 50/50. The chips are very light and fresh. We split a taco place, which comes with two tacos and two sides. This filled up two greedy people. I highly recommend, parking is on the street and it's always busy. So come prepared to walk maybe a half a block or so. BTW the drinks are delicious too.

Visited this place on recommendation from a military friend. Absolutely LOVED everything we had. The server recommended we try the cheese dip as it was award winning. We have it a try and it did not disappoint -- that cheese dip was worth its own awards and more. We took some home as leftovers. Besides that, we have the delta tamales and the Seared Tuna tacos. 10/10 would visit again!

The bar program at this establishment is noteworthy for its diverse selection of rotating beers on tap and inventive cocktails. The responsible sourcing and sustainable practices are evident in the restaurant's commitment to quality service and ethical dining.
Our waitress, Abby, was amazing and very sweet! I never felt like I was a bother with the few questions I had for her. The atmosphere was super fun and the decor was cute! There was no wait for a table however was a little bit of a wait for the food but it was lunch rush and it’s also made fresh, so it’s totally understandable for me. All the food was great (farmers burger with half and half patty) and the coffee caramel shake was on point. I will most definitely be back!

I stumbled upon big orange while exploring the area near my hotel and decided to try it after reading a few reviews. The ambiance was just ok a bit quiet but it was also early evening. My waiter was great as was the burger and fries. The burger was cooked a perfect med-rare just like I like. I also ordered a bowl of chili which had a nice kick to it but not overpowering. Check this place out if you're in the area!

The Midtown LR Big Orange was where my daughter wanted to go after a week out of state and struggling to find some good gluten free meals. She was looking forward to their sweet potato waffle fries and they didn’t disappoint. She loves the sauce it comes with as well. She was served a generous portion of salad, which looked delicious and it proved to be too much for her and boxed the rest up for later. The special Smashburger came advertised separate from the menu, so I tried it with gluten free bun and it is now my favorite burger I’ve ever had at The Big Orange. It comes with a double patty and lots of bacon and cheese. The fries are fried in a dedicated gluten free fryer. We started off with the Big Orange Cheese Dip for an appetizer (we were told that the cheese dip is gluten free and the tortilla chips are as well and fried in their own dedicated space but that the house chips are not gluten free). The cheese dip is what I think an Arkansas cheese dip should be. Loved it and loved our time at The Big Orange (midtown)! 🍊🧡

I have been several times and have never been disappointed with the food! You can’t hardly go wrong, had a salad this time…delicious! We ordered fries and fresh chips for the table to share. My only complaint would be that you can’t split one order as I feel like only need one order of fries/chips. This is fine when there are several to share. So if you want consistency delicious food with lots of options, pick Big Orange!

We enjoyed Big Orange a lot. My husband and two children (15 & 8), and I went for dinner. I had the Farmers burger, and my husband got the Umami burger. Both were filling and so yummy. I also got the truffle fries... which are definitely one of the most delicious fries I've ever had. I couldn't finish my food because I wanted room for dessert. I got a strawberry shake and was not disappointed! Our waitress, Courtney, was excellent! She came around to check in, get refills, and answer questions. She was helpful when we were ordering. Definitely wish we had this closer to home.
Kristie L — Google review
We got the Hickory smoke burger and big orange house salad and they were very delicious! I subbed goat cheese for blue cheese on the salad and I must say it was pretty tasty. I also added blackened chicken, which was very juicy and flavorful! The burger was cooked good and was not dry, the BBQ sauce added that perfect flavor combo for this burger! The chips and queso were very good, similar to chilis queso, just more cheesy and no meat! Ended with the pistachio white chocolate milkshake, it was okay! I probably wouldn’t order it again but it was fine! Our server coco was so nice and accommodating, she had a bright personality making the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely be back, but my only suggestion would be a milkshake flight to try several flavors!! Overall great place!

Ordered a burger, shake and truffle fries for take out. It was kind of a longer wait for a burger (about 30 minutes ) but I bet it's because of how packed they were, it seems to be a great place to visit! The burger was amazing, I enjoyed trying the truffle fries the truffle is indeed strong and the dipping sauce complimented it well. The shake was perfect. No suggestions just a wonderful place to get a burger n shake.

U.S. Pizza Co. Hillcrest is a well-established pizzeria chain offering a variety of classic and innovative pizzas, as well as sandwiches, beer, and wine. The franchise is expanding with new outlets in Sherwood and the Village at Rahling Road. The Sherwood location will be larger than the Maumelle branch, featuring a fountain and three party rooms. Enjoyed a beautiful birthday party on the second floor at US Pizza Hillcrest. Gorgeous outside eating area. The salads are the BOMB. Unfortunately I paid 42.46 for two extremely dry pizzas. I called and spoke to the manager he said because the pizza look good to him and he made it that means I'm supposed to except this dry pizza. I have pictures of this extremely dry pizza may someone please help? I thought the manager would help when he suggested I tell him what I want to do about this. In response I a remake with sauce. Unfortunately this individual with poor management skills told me no because the pizzas are made prefect how he likes it. May I please receive good customer service from the owner or someone over this location?

Absolutely incredible food! Decided to dine in this time, but their take out is always good. We ordered 2 large supreme salads and a supreme pizza with jalapeños added. The salads were made fresh and piled on with toppings , plus the famous Italian dressing. Our pizza arrived and was also loaded with toppings and cheese. Our server Kaitlyn took great care of us, she was friendly and quickly brought us anything we needed. The food and service here are top notch, I highly recommend eating here especially if you haven’t tried it.

What a decline since I was last there. Let’s start off with the positive, the Scooby sandwich tasted as good as I remember it. That’s the good. Server couldn’t be more low energy if she was on Valium. We had a guy sweeping the floors all around without a dust pan so basically just kicking debris around. And maybe it’s just me, but I would probably wipe the tables off before I swept. Now the huge atmosphere buzz kill- employees have completely taken over two tables in the dining area. One was occupied by an employee in a hair net who spent the entire time of our visit on her laptop. The other looked like the employee locker room. Table covered in purses and backpacks, drinks ranging from rebull to a 2 liter bottle of Mountain Dew, food biz from Mylo’s coffee shop and countless other items. The same table had more than one employee spending a long time on mobile phones and going through each other’s purses. Not only was it distracting, it felt dirty and changed the entire atmosphere of the restaurant. First and last time there in ten years. Good Luck!

This location is very clean. The service is really good and the staff makes you feel welcomed and want to return again. Matthew and Pam provided GREAT customer service and made sure my food was prepared the way I wanted it. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating. Dogs are welcome on the outdoor patio(with a few understandable rules). There is also a bar that is well stocked and open for service. I will definitely be back again. This location is also conveniently located in walking distance to multiple other businesses.

Great place! Restaurant clean & tidy. Hostess & wait staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of refills and food brought to us in timely manner. Food served hot and fresh. Supreme salad with fajita chicken is huge, but a family favorite so nothing goes to waste! Plenty of seating inside or outside if weather permits. Also this location has an upstairs area you can reserve/rent for small gatherings, bridal/baby showers, etc.

This could be the fanciest US pizza location out of any that I have ever been to! They’ve got multiple outdoor patios, some of them covered and some of them with umbrellas over the tables. Nestled in the vibrant Heights neighborhood of Little Rock, Cheers in the Heights is a beloved dining spot that offers a delightful culinary experience. The addition of white balsamic dressing brings a zesty kick to this flavorful ensemble.
Small but great restuarant! Casey, our waitress is phenomenal! Her personality is amazing with an inviting smile! Food was amazing and she recommended the mushrooms. The red snapper and fried artichoke hearts were amazing as well! Kudos to the cooks! Thank you for a great experience my first time here!

We went here lunch, it was very busy so get ready to wait if you go during lunch. We started off with cheese dip and fried okra. Both were very solid. Okra was cut into bigger pieces than I expected but still very delicious. Our group tried the cheeseburger (patty was not seasoned), chopped salmon salad (very good), pasta New Orleans (very good), and grilled shrimp dinner with fries and greens (shrimp and fries were delicious but the greens was extremely bland, would not recommend). Overall, they have a good variety of items on the menu to select from!

The service was great and the food came out in a timely manner. The fried artichoke hearts were good and I recommend a try! They are served with two sauces, but I would recommend the ranch for these. The queso was great, and it had some heat to it. Still mild but def could taste some spice.

As a child me and my friends would play in the snow and when the cold was so much we couldn't feel our feet or hands, of in the area they would give us hot apple cider free to warm us up. Good people. Food is nice too, though on the upper side of pricing, but worth it.

Everything is made from scratch and it’s all fresh. I love the chalkboards because they display all the daily menu specials as well as wines by the glass or bottle. They have great outdoor and patio seating. Service is fast and always friendly. If your not sure what something is or what your in the mood for just ask and they will explain it. Kid friendly. Whether you are doing brunch date night or just a quick take out they don’t disappoint. The menu is influenced by Italian cuisine with pizza pie class of its own. However my fav is the meatballs. While passing through Little Rock, my wife and I stopped into Raduno for a quick Tuesday night dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. We were seated at the bar and didn’t have to wait, despite the room being comfortably busy. The bartender was flying solo and noticeably juggling several guests at once, but once he made it over to us, his service was attentive and excellent for the rest of the meal. He also mixed a great Negroni — balanced, cold, and exactly what you hope for when you order a classic. For dinner, my wife ordered the Margherita pizza while I went with the Italian Beef over polenta. Both dishes were full of flavor and clearly made with care. The crust on the pizza was spot on, and the house cheese blend paired well with the basil — our only suggestion would be to go just a touch lighter on the olive oil. The Italian Beef was rich, tender, and layered nicely over the creamy polenta — definitely something I’ll be thinking about long after the trip. We also treated ourselves to dessert and shared the bread pudding, which ranks among the best we’ve had. Perfect texture — not loose and not dried out — with just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, Raduno is an easy “yes” if you’re in Little Rock. Great cocktails, flavorful dishes, and warm service even on a casual midweek stop-in. We’d gladly return for dinner again — and would love to try them for lunch or brunch on a future visit.

What a wonderful experience at this amazing Barroom. Very lovely for a date or a fun night with friends over some delicious pizza and wine. Must try vegan spinach and artichoke dip. Delicious vegan pepperoni pizza. Although the spaghetti can be vegan it is very plain and the sauce is a little on the spicier side. The bar does several mocktail requests and some of these probably should be on the menu. Please add a vegan dessert or two. Lots of seating. The staff are fairly attentive. Can be a bit noisy or crowded. The dining experience felt a little classy which was fun.

I visited this restaurant last night. The quality of the pizza was decent—I’d say above average. However, the service was very disappointing. When I ordered my pizza, the server asked if I wanted to add cheese, but did not mention that it would cost an extra $8. That felt like a scam, as the final price increased significantly without clear communication. Another issue was with the water service. They brought us a very small bottle of water that wasn’t enough for two people, and they never came back to refill it—not even once. Even as we were leaving, the bottle was still empty. Most importantly, the server barely checked on us. After our food was served, we sat at the table for nearly an hour and no one came to ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. Not a great experience overall, and I hope they work on their customer service.

Nice restaurant. Theme is pan European but probably fair to say Czech and German centric (dumplings, spaezle). 1st visit.... Parking may be difficult at busy times. Establishment is a bit tucked away from the main road, take your time and you will find the restaurant. Good menu and good drink selections available. Few items seemed a bit overpriced (*brussel sprouts), while others were reasonably priced. Can't do a proper review after just one visit; for now all good and will be back in the near future.

Incredible!!! My wife had the jaeger schnitzel, untreated, with spetzel and Brussels sprouts and I went for the one pot special. The meatloaf they served with the special, I’ll just say the next time I see mom, she’s getting slapped!!! It was that good. Served with paprika ketchup, wedges and stewed squash. This meal was unforgettable. I also had the heads or tails drink (I chose heads, mezcal based) and it was delicious. The server was fantastic as well. Restaurant
Whole Hog Cafe is a beloved local BBQ chain that brings the essence of championship barbecue to your plate. With a laid-back vibe, this eatery serves up mouthwatering dishes crafted from award-winning recipes that have earned accolades at the prestigious Memphis-In-May World Barbecue Championship in 2000, 2002, and 2008.
I’ve visited the Whole Hog Cafe about once a year for several years. It is roughly halfway between Dallas and Western Kentucky, my 10 - 12 hour drive to visit family. I always order the same thing, the pulled pork sandwich with extra slaw. The pork is fall-apart good and so flavorful. BBQ sauce is not needed but it is fun to try at least 1 of the 6 sauces available at every table. I cannot comment on the other entrees or sides but can say that I love the ambience of the restaurant. The staff are friendly and welcoming, another reason I like to stop. According to a sign in the dining room, the local corvette club meets at the restaurant once a month. We were not there on a first Tuesday but there were some gorgeous corvettes in the parking lot. Highly recommend! The pulled pork sandwich is THAT good!

Try the cheesy corn it’s great! The chicken and brisket are both delicious! Potato salad is top notch. Burnt end tips - just a taste is plenty!! Really good menu, must eat BBQ in Little Rock!

Came here due to the reviews and pleasantly surprised. Got the hog combo plate with brisket and sausage. The ribs and brisket were a little dry but had great flavor. The jalapeño sausage was really good. The sides were Mac n cheese and beans which were really good. Overall I would definitely come back.

Order the ribs! They fall right off the bone and the sauce is amazing! I ordered The Hog Platter with pulled pork and chopped brisket plus the included ribs. The meats were all good. The cole slaw has a slight kick to it which I liked. The mac and cheese was kinda meh on it's own, but when I piled in the chopped brisket OH MAN! Amazing! I regret not ordering the smoked turkey, but it gives me a reason to return. The broad choice of sauces is nice. I like #4 and #6, but I'm a sucker for a vinegar-base sauce. The classic is really, really good as well. I love seeing all of the trophies up on display and the

AMAZING BBQ! The sign says award winning BBQ and they have the trophies to prove it. The ribs were out of this world. Burnt ends and shredded pork delicious. Don't forget the peach cobbler with ice cream.
Kristy S — Google review
When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese and coleslaw. My friend ordered ribs with mac and a salad. My pulled pork had some burned ends that really added that smoky flavor. The restaurant had 6 different bbq sauces to choose feom and i went with the spicy and tangy. That sandwich was delicious and the sides were good too. The only thing was that the ribs were a little cold. It took us longer to order than to get our food so not sure if the food was warmed enough. Regardless it was really flavorful. In my humble opinion the only thing that i saw was that the restaurant seemed a little outdated and had many trophies on the walls that seemed overwhelming. I think it needs a little makeover. It also felt a little too quiet and it could’ve been cause it was a Wednesday afternoon or they need some tvs or music in there to lively it up. Regardless the food was good and I recommend you to taste it for yourself to form your own opinion.

Food was awesome! Lots of different BBQ sauces to try, and they are all good. Beams, potatoes and salads were very tasty and fresh. The brownie was delicious. Nice atmosphere -they will make you feel at home.

Potato salad was delicious. Burnt ends under seasoned. Ribs were okay, too small and very Porkish tasting. Thank God for the delicious chocolate chip cookie. I will not be back. Hadn't been in awhile. Now I know why. Price does not match up with meat portion sizes.

New American restaurant
American restaurant
Restaurant
Brave New Restaurant is a top choice for those seeking an upscale dining experience with a touch of romance in Central Arkansas. The restaurant offers creative American cuisine and a charming balcony that overlooks the Arkansas River, making it an ideal spot for summer dining. Guests can enjoy the classy dining room or opt for the scenic riverside patio to savor their meals while taking in picturesque views. With its focus on using locally grown produce and spices, Brave New Restaurant provides a delightful culinary experience at reasonable prices.
My wife and I ate lunch at the Brave New Restaurant for the first time today. Outstanding is the first word that comes to mind! Everything there is first class. The food, atmosphere and service are all top-notch. I will have to say, though if you have not been there before it may be a bit challenging to find the entrance to the restaurant. Google maps will take you into the parking lot. There is a sign that indicates Brave New Restaurant out at the street, however, the door that you enter goes into an office building and the restaurant name is not marked on that door. Once you get inside, get on the elevator and ride from the ground level to the first where good signage is available. We arrived there very shortly after the restaurant opened at 11 and were able to get a good parking place near the door. I understand that parking can be an issue for the lunch crowd due to the people who work in the building. Also it can be a bit of a trek to get to much of the parking that is available during the workday.

Only restaurant in Little Rock on the river near downtown…farm fresh food served farm to table from a local farm outside LR…service was 10 out of 10 and a MUST go to if you live local or coming from out of town! Myles and David went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and welcomed! Thank you!

The meal I had from here today was SO good I had to thank God both before AND after eating it… two house made crab cakes served with a creole remoulade sauce, parmesan fries, and crusty bread with butter….everything was beyond delicious. Despite the terrible economy we are currently living in, I am living large today!! I will absolutely be back soon.

Yikes. Everybody has a bad day. I'm sure there are some redeeming qualities here but Brave is by far no longer top dog in central Arkansas. Very disappointed. Facility was bland, restrooms filthy, server was difficult to understand and came to the table far too often, the prosciutto on the charcuterie board was not good, the asparagus bland, potatoes over whipped and dry, grizzle from ribeye in teeth ECT. Disappointed to say the least. The mushroom soup tasted out of a can and mushrooms slices were rubbery.

From making the reservations (which are not required for brunch) through the dining experience, we were absolutely wowed. Our server Becca was warm knowledgeable and prompt. Managers checked on us more than once and genuinely wanted us to have an amazing experience. Food was not only beautiful but flavorful and large portions. Ambience is wonderful and the patio was really fun to enjoy. It was really refreshing to have a dining experience that not only met our expectations but surpassed in every way. Well done team!!!

Dizzy's Gypsy Bistro is a charming restaurant located in the River Market district, offering a whimsical setting with colorful chandeliers and art-covered walls. The bistro is known for its carefully crafted New American cuisine that pairs perfectly with their unique selection of signature cocktails, including limoncello martinis and basil and orange mojitos. With covered street-side dining for people-watching, it's a great spot to enjoy delicious food and drinks.
Had a lot of fun here!! We went on a Friday night about 7pm and it was not busy. They are famous for their cheese dip and it was really good! (So good I didn’t get a picture of it) I had the burger on their May Specials menu that I cannot remember the name of but it was delicious. It had mixed greens, fried green tomatoes, and a special house made dill sauce. 10/10. My husband had the Cajun Pasta which I think was also on the specials list. Crawfish in an Alfredo sauce I believe. He loved it! We also shared a Dizzys Punch which was strong! Reminded me of a hurricane I had down in Louisiana once. So good!

Dizzy's Gypsy Bistro presented an intriguing menu, promising a delightful mix of pasta, Cajun, Southern, and salad options, all at reasonable prices and with generous portions. The restaurant's quirky, eclectic atmosphere, combined with an air of elegance, created a unique dining experience. The bar and wait staff were also notably attentive. However, my experience with the daily special, chicken chili with jalapeño cornbread, fell short. The chili lacked depth of flavor, and the cornbread was served cold. While I appreciated the overall ambiance and service, the underwhelming entree left me hesitant to return for another meal.

This is an adorable spot in the River Market area of Little Rock. The cheesedip is addictive. They have a nice wine selection. My husband loved the Country Club sandwich. Went for lunch mother's day. My first time there, server was excellent. Food was excellent. I had the soup, delicious 😋 then the baked lasagna 😋 👌 Highly recommend. They get really busy but you can make reservations online. Also, the bunch is legendary.

This place was awesome. My coworker and i both got halibut, one was the special and one was the one on the menu with the risotto. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. The risotto was amazing and creamy. We had the berry cobbler for dessert and normally my coworker would only take a couple bites but he ended up eating half of it. Our server was really awesome, i forgot her name but she was a younger woman with some tattoos and piercings and super friendly and easy to talk to. Would love to come back and visit on another trip. Thanks so much everyone!

Our group of 9 had gathered to celebrate the birthday of my neighbor/church member & her daughter. This was my first visit to Yaya's. It was good food, fun & fellowship. The atmosphere was beautiful. I ordered the Shrimp Risotto and the Shrimp Linguini. I had never had either of these dishes before but I love shrimp. My neighbor and her daughter were praising the Shrimp Risotto so I thought I'd give it a shot. Both my neighbor and her daughter said the Shrimp Risotto was "off", not tasting or looking like it did before. They sent theirs back for Shrimp Ravioli, but since I had never had it before, I couldn't say whether mine was good or bad. So I kept mine. However, I did ask if it was customary for the Shrimp Linguini to only have one shrimp (for the price) in the dish. Our waiter (Roberto?) brought me out a dish with about 3 or 4 shrimp, so that took away the "minus" comment that I was going to leave about it. By the time our entrees arrived, I was already full of bread/oil, table appetizers (Crab Cakes & Bruschetta, both very good) & Arnold Palmer. I really wasn't hungry because I had eaten a beef sausage about an hour before leaving home. After tasting my Shrimp Risotto and Shrimp Linguini, I had Roberto put mine in a To-Go container. Before we left Roberto brought out raspberry cheesecake for Marcia and Ciliccia and spoons for All. We sang the traditional Happy Birthday song and they shared a spoonful of their birthday dessert with us. I'm not a fan of raspberry, but the cheesecake itself was top notch. Next day, I ate my "leftovers". My only complaint was that the Shrimp Linguini was spicy. I don't recall anything in the description that would let me know it was spicy so I don't know where the spicy was coming from. With my acid reflux, spicy won't let me be Great. Overall, I did enjoy both dishes

I had mixed experiences at this restaurant. The bruschetta appetizer was delicious, and the waiter's wine recommendation was spot on. However, the Roasted Chicken was just okay, with part of the dish arriving cold. Although the waiter promptly replaced the potatoes, I noticed he was more attentive to other tables, checking on them frequently. Despite some initial service inconsistencies, the staff improved towards the end of our meal. Unfortunately, just as we were leaving, a large roach crawled onto our table, which was a major turnoff. This incident prevented me from giving a higher review, despite some positive aspects of our dining experience.

Lexington, thank you for such a wonderful dining experience at Yaya’s. The carpaccio was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the ribeye was cooked beautifully. But what truly set the night apart was the service easily the best I’ve experienced in Arkansas. The wine pairing, phyllo brownie recommendation and the patience in explaining each dish made the evening feel special. The manager really knows how to lead his team. I highly recommend this place.

Just had a wonderful date night at YaYa’s, one of the few consistently great, reasonably priced restaurants whose relaxed-elegance creates a special evening. Our waiter “Caleb” was experienced, knowledgeable, conversational, and intent on making our evening special. Our dining was perfectly timed. Caleb suggested a new appetizer that was nothing short of amazing (shrimp ala plancha), and after I ordered a fave wine, he kindly brought a glass for me to taste one of his faves. My husband’s shrimp ravioli was perfect, and my “Bistro Steak” entree was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The suggested side of roasted Yukon gold potatoes with a delectable butter/garlic dipping sauce was so good! While you can spend more $$ for elegant dining in Little Rock, you won’t find a better meal than what we enjoyed this evening at YaYa’s.
SharonW — Google review
The food was amazing, great flavor and presentation was even better. Now for the service... We were greeted and sat immediately and we advised our server that we had a flight to catch so we wanted everything out at the same time. The waitress got right to work. She got drinks, appetizers, salads and entrees for 9 adults and two children and was timely and did not forget a thing! Absolutely amazing. We left there with more than enough time to make our flights. A+ work by the entire staff at YaYas. We will definitely return.

Nestled in a convenient strip mall, Star of India Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. As the first Indian restaurant in the state, it boasts a rich history and an inviting atmosphere. The larger-than-life owner, Sami Lal, adds a personal touch by remembering his customers' names and serving up delightful mango lassis.
Star of Indian is a hidden gem in west Little Rock. The staff is always warm and friendly and the food is ready quickly. I ordered the butter chicken which was very flavorful and tender! The vegetable samosas were very crispy and the mint and tamarind sauces were phenomenal! Their garlic naan was very yummy as well. The butter chicken was a little less thick than I usually like but other than that it was wonderful!

The starter was excellent. The padad and chutneys were so good. The food wasn’t spicy and I wished it had more spice in the biryani. It was really good with the chili chutney thiugh. But the service was so welcoming and inviting.

The service was excellent—they frequently checked in to see if we needed anything. The mango lassi was outstanding, and both the mixed appetizer and mixed grill are great choices if you want to sample a variety of items. The chicken Achari was especially delicious and paired well with rice, biryani, and naan. The only drawback was the biryani—it tasted more like methi rice than traditional biryani. While it was still flavorful, the spice level we requested as medium felt milder than expected.

I want to start this review by saying that all the awards this restaurant has won over the years, speaks volumes. For years Star of India has been the heart of Indian Cuisine in LR, and still to this day, it stands true. The “home”owner of this wonderful establishment, Sammy, makes it all possible. He truly makes you feel like you have just walked into, his home - your home - Gods home, He welcomes you with open arms and an open heart. Always starting off each open door with, “Welcome home! I’m so glad to see you!” If you have never tried Indian Cuisine before, I highly suggest you come here for you first experience and if you are too close minded to even give it a try, you are truly missing out on one of life’s greatest experiences. The pictures I have listed here are from two different visits. We choose to come here for any and every special occasion because Sammy and this restaurant, his home, truly makes those moments sparkle a little more. My husband and I came here this week wanting to bring some leftovers home to enjoy for a few more days and my husband came up with this new clever way of a family meal to go box. Rain or Shine, Snow or Ice, Star of India is the place to be, the place to eat, the place where family is everyone.

Visiting Little Rock for the month and was really missing Indian food from home. Ordered to go and it was ready in twenty minutes. Staff were really friendly at pickup and the inside of the restaurant was clean and inviting. The food was delicious- we ordered lamb biriyani, garlic naan, and chicken tikka. I wish the chicken tikka was a little spicier but all the food was delicious and tasted authentic. For such a reasonable price you get a lot of food.

We went recently for dinner, and the food was great as always. Service is also consistently prompt and attentive. This time we were caught off guard being charged $14 for 2 ice creams after dinner. We assumed it was free of charge because it was offered something like: "Now you have your choice of 7 flavors of our special Indian ice cream." But ice cream has been complimentary, historically, albeit just soft serve vanilla. The owner-manager Sami was so kind as to take it off our bill; he always makes sure everyone feels welcome and taken care of.

From Washington State, visiting. I think this was possibly the best food we've ever had, and it makes me want to fly back here just for the food. Best fried chicken, and the peaches and cream cinnamon roll the best my husband has ever had. He said if fried chicken can be made like this, why would anyone make it different. The fresh beignets were so hot and fluffy. The grits - i had no idea that they could even be made that fluffy, not gritty or mushy, just fluffy and light. So good. Wish i lived closer so we could come every weekend!

Breakfast Gem in the Heart of Little Rock We stopped here for breakfast during our stay in Little Rock, and it was such a great find! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we loved that it was within walking distance of our hotel. A friend recommended it to us, and we’re so glad she did—it definitely lived up to the hype. The only small hiccup was with the menu; it was a little confusing, so make sure to double-check your order. Still, it was a great experience overall and we’d happily return.

Best Bloody Mary in Arkansas. It came with a perfectly fried chicken strip. I also got the sweet potato hash and it was 10/10. There was a funny situation with the apple cinnamon bun accidentally being served with BBQ sauce instead of the caramel sauce, but the waitress just got me a new one and apologized and we all laughed. 😂😂 Once the correct sauce was on, 10/10 cinnamon bun made with Arkansas apples. I love this place and the staff.

Ordered the hot honey chicken and waffles but requested the gravy on the side since I am normally used to just honey as a topping for this kind of dish. She asked if I wanted everything on the side, but I just wanted the gravy on the side. But when it came everything was still on the side, so I don’t really know why they include cheese. The hot honey wasn’t that good, it was definitely too spicy and just hurt my tongue. I needed to add maple syrup and turn it into normal chicken and waffles to not start crying from the spice! I normally love spice but this wasn’t even enjoyable it was bad. The server was honestly really sweet though and everything everyone else got at the table they really enjoyed. I imagine the regular chicken and waffles are the way to go

Riverfront Steakhouse, located inside North Little Rock's Wyndham Riverfront Hotel, is a premier fine dining experience known for its seasoned prime beef cooked in an infrared broiler oven. The restaurant offers a sizable wine list and a dinner menu featuring seafood entrees and USDA prime steaks with distinctive flavor. Despite changing ownership, the restaurant aims to maintain its reputation under new management while keeping the staff intact.
This was my first time eating at this restaurant. It did not disappoint. The salad bar was magnificent, the bone-in ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the service matched the goodness of the food. The salad bar had fresh ingredients and they kept it stocked. My side of mushrooms were amazing. The pecan encrusted salmon was great along with a well cooked massive baked potato. Give this place a try you will not be disappointed!

My wife's birthday we took a mosey into the steakhouse for the first time for us but the inlaws have frequented a few times I think . We got the dinner for two and the salad bar . The salad bar was pretty nice and had a lot of choices. I did notice there was not a lot of meat . (None) . The service was very good and our waiter was very attentive. The manager came by to check on us also , everyone was as nice as can be . The entree arrived with our steak and onion rings and I hate to say it was just mid . The rub on the steak had an aroma I could not get around and the steak was overcooked. We ordered medium and the farther you get from the middle it was done done and just tough. Rings were ok and the bread and butter was amazing. The atmosphere was really dark kinda like a nightclub lol but it was really really nice ! It wasn't cheap but I will give them another shot in the future! Almost forgot ! Get the fried rice ! The best by far !

We enjoyed our anniversary dinner there tonight. Great atmosphere. Excellent friendly waiter, managers were involved in making sure everyone is enjoying themselves. Salad bar was wonderful. Bone in ribeye was the 2nd best steak in Arkansas, next to mine at home. Closed my eyes with every bite. Prime rib was perfect. Wine was a sweet red moscato that had no bitterness at all. They were so kind when they brought out an extra dessert for our anniversary. So many things were going on with my taste buds while eating the delicious dessert. Thank you for an amazing evening! I recommend dressing up nice and giving them a try. Literally best steak you can buy in Arkansas.

Went there recently for a birthday dinner, set up a reservation. We were seated pretty promptly and drinks were served in a timely manner. Our main waiter, Jojo was so sweet, lively and attentive. And other staff checked on us if needed for water and getting empty plates out the way. We got calamari, crab claws and crab cakes as appetizers, calamari was simple with the seasoning, but the lemon provided helped it! The crab cakes were a 4, the best app was definitely the crab claws, the sauce was quite good. Me and another guest in my party got the chicken and shrimp scampi respectively, both were good, shrimp was tender and seasoned well. At first bite, my chicken did seem a little over-salted but it was an end piece, but overall the chicken was great! The scampi sauce was thick and covered the pasta wonderfully. The other guest in my party actually got a lunch special, the chicken stir fry, it was quite a big portion and it was filled with veggies and topped with chicken. Since it was my birthday, they gave me two options for a free dessert and I chose the bread pudding, was my first time having it and I was not disappointed! Overall, the dinner was pretty good in terms of service and atmosphere!

We weren't really hungry due to having a late lunch. However, our filet was so tender and juicy with a great flavor. We enjoyed our meal and keylime pie for desert. Overall, we were very pleased with Cache!
Alan B — Google review
We had high hopes for Cache but were thoroughly disappointed from start to finish. We arrived at 6:30pm on a Saturday to an almost empty restaurant, yet it took 20 minutes just to get out first drink order. The service remained painfully slow the rest of the evening, with empty glasses sitting on the table for most of the meal. The appetizers were a huge letdown. Do not order the crab claws - they’re the size of crawfish claws and completely not worth it. The meat and cheese board was underwhelming, with only two sad cheese options, apples and a few sad grapes that looked like they’d already been picked over. For the main course, we ordered the ribeyes, which were thin, poorly seasoned, and over salted. The sides were just as bad - greens that were bland except for the massive amount of salt and what I think was potato O’Brien that tasted like something straight out of the frozen aisle. None of us finished our meals. To top it off, we were celebrating a special anniversary with close friends, and the entire experience was a three-hour ordeal of disappointment. As the evening wore on, the crowd became loud, uncomfortable and unpleasant, adding to our frustrations. We won’t be returning, and we strongly advise others looking for a nice dinner in Little Rock to look elsewhere. This was one of the worst dining experiences we have had in the city.

My husband and I had a date night here and we both really enjoyed ourselves. Having valet parking available at a downtown restaurant is definitely a plus. Everyone was very friendly, including our server JoJo. She was attentive, but not overly. Our food and drinks were brought out in a timely manner. All of the food was excellent, especially the fillet. It was one of the best steaks I’ve had. We also loved the environment. The decor is very elegant yet trendy. I also enjoyed the music . We are going to put this restaurant in our date night rotation.

Great place and they have valet service at no extra charge so no need to have to hunt for a parking spot. Crab cakes were the best!!!! Candied bank was a fun treat. The salmon was 🔥

Nice chic atmosphere! The food was outstanding and cooked perfectly! With so many options the decisions were hard! We walked in on a busy night and we were sat promptly! The server was very attentive!

It was our first time visiting Arkansas, and we happened to see this restaurant while walking around downtown Little Rock, so we decided to check it out. We didn’t have a reservation since it was a spontaneous visit, but they welcomed walk-ins, which was great! Before the meal, they served bread with cream, and it was absolutely amazing. I usually don’t even eat bread and cream, but I finished it all! We ordered the filet mignon and the Cajun fettuccine, both dishes were incredible! Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful anniversary dinner. The staff, the food “best steak I have in a while” and the atmosphere was fantastic.

Vino's, located in downtown Little Rock, is a unique brewpub known for its handcrafted ales and New York-style pizza. As Arkansas's first brewpub, Vino's offers preservative-free brews like the Pinnacle IPA and Quarterpaw Quarter Porter. The establishment also hosts live music nights and has become a popular spot for locals to enjoy great beer, delicious pizza, and live entertainment.
After hearing abt vinos from coworkers, I finally got a chance to go in the past month and am now looking forward to going back! Despite me and my friend going on a Friday night, we got to the ordering counter pretty quickly and received our order in a timely manner! There were lots of people that night, so seating was a little hard to find, but that’s expected! I got a slice of the supreme and my friend got marghertia, both were delicious. The pizzas seem to be more of a new-york style, which i have no qualms with! Our server was nice and attentive, despite the busyness! After eating, we went to that nights live shows, who were all great! Overall, a super cool experience!

A quirky little pizza joint that has the best pizza and calzones! In house brewery and interesting cider flavors. Always have good service and there's usually something going on in the back room.... concerts , wrestling, comedy. Highly recommend if you want good food that's open late.

A pizza dive icon in Little Rock. We ordered at the counter and then had excellant service once we sat down. Our server was very attentive and took great care of our group! We ordered by the slice thinking we couldn't eat a whole pizza... Slices were huge still ended up taking some home! No worries! Because now we have some great pizza to enjoy at home!

I moved to Little Rock this summer and was excited to see that Vino's was close to my new place. I had remembered Vino's from years ago, after having moved to Fayetteville, and taking a trip to Little Rock. Well, went in one afternoon to check them out. Had a stout and veggie calzone, and both were stellar! Service was very good. Vino's is funky and older, but cool vibe. I felt comfortable being there by myself and had a great time. I'll definitely return.

There was a new wave party happening at this venue, so me and some friends went dressed in a lot of alternative style clothing- because the idea was fun. As I walk in, the cashier gives me an odd look, then barely acknowledges any of us while we try to order. I could barely tell if she had even put our orders in. And as we're waiting on our order, she was staring at us. Other staff seemed nice and the food was great, but me and my friends did not feel welcome.

One of my favorite Queer friendly places to hang out and listen to live music. They have stickers all over the walls and paintings from local artists for sale, and the staff are casual and friendly. Highly recommend the cheesy bread, it's delicious, we order several every time we go😆

Under the creative guidance of owner and chef Mark Abernathy, this inviting eatery showcases a delightful array of grilled dishes, fresh seafood, and wood-fired pizzas.
Loca Luna, our absolute favorite go to place to celebrate our anniversary! We sat at the bar and Clint was the bartender and man did he make some great margaritas and other drinks! He took really great care of us and the food was exceptional as always! Thanks to Clint and Loca Luna for making our anniversary wonderful! Can't wait until the next time!

Most of what we had was good! Party of 12. Service was good as well. Sirloin was fantastic. Everything else was good. All of our appetizers were super good.

Came with a party of about 17 for a birthday, every single person had a significant complaint about their food. The service aside from that was great, they got refills quick. Took forever to get food. Several folks who ordered different types of steak all got very very rare steak. I myself got the spicy version of their fried chicken sandwich, and earnestly, you could find one with more flavor for a 5th of the price at Chick-fil-A. Everything was significantly expensive and the quality DID NOT match the pricing. Really regret spending money here, will not be back.

Unfortunately, I have to feel that Luna’s has taken a step backwards of recent. Service was slower than the number of seated tables. Some food items were great while others were just fine. For example the bacon green beans were bland and the brownie was dry but the chicken fried steak itself was great. Luna isn’t in the top 10 of my restaurants anymore. Fingers crossed it will be again.

I'm open to giving it a second go and ordering pizza or something else, but the items we ordered this time around were disappointing. About a 5-8min wait for a table Friday night, which is not bad at all. Nice drink list, good service, and a fun atmosphere. The top shelf margarita was average, not sure I'd get it again. We had the chicken fried steak and the stuffed grouper, sides were squash-cheese casserole and the saffron rice (no picture). The gravy for the chicken fried steak tasted like straight flour. The steak itself was ok but small, not reminiscent of the giant plate sized chicken fried steak that is common in the south. The grouper lacked salt and seasoning. The crab stuffing, which was actually a topping, didn't really add much to the dish. The saffron rice tasted like it was a day or two old, and again lacked seasoning. For $20-30 per person, I expected more. Will update review if I try it again.

We were there a couple weeks ago and sat at the bar ( there was this awful weird smell) our bartender Maggie was amazing and made our experience great!!! She suggested the frozen cherry limeade and dirty martini then suggested the crab cakes all were amazing. The taco special was also amazing . She's simply the best very attentive and overall great A+. We will return.

Loca Luna is one of our go to spots for brunch on a Saturday or Sunday. The vibe is always cool and there is an air of excitement about the place. The food is great most of the time. I have had a few misses. One visit three of us in a table of eight order the chicken tenders for brunch. They all came out over cooked and hard and chewy. However, we brought this to the attention of the waiter and they cooked us some more with no problem, and no extra charge. They made us feel welcome, and that our business is appreciated. The price is reasonable and affordable. I will continue to go back again and again.

Arthur's Prime Steakhouse is a top-tier dining establishment in Little Rock, offering an exceptional steak experience. Established by renowned restaurateur Jerry Barakat, this high-end steakhouse is celebrated for its dry-aged beef selection, including the coveted Japanese Kobe. The restaurant boasts a rich history and unwavering commitment to culinary excellence, making it a premier destination for special occasions.
Had a great dinner experience. Service and food were all great in my opinion. Steaks had a lovely crust on them and were cooked to our ordering instructions. Really liked the brussels sprouts with prosciutto. If you don’t like a partially steamed sprout then you may not like them. The potatoes were awesome. No complaints there. Chocolate creme brûlée was an awesome dessert pick. Velvety smooth and rich chocolate.

⸻ 5 Stars – A True Gem in Little Rock Arthur’s Steakhouse delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between upscale and welcoming — ideal for a special evening out or just treating yourself to great food and service. The wine selection was extensive and impressive. Our server helped us choose a bold red that paired perfectly with our meal. They clearly know their wines and take pride in offering the right recommendation to enhance your dining experience. Now let’s talk about the steak — simply outstanding. I had the filet, and it was cooked to a flawless medium rare, with a beautiful crust on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness inside. The seasoning was spot on, letting the quality of the meat shine through. We also sampled the seafood — the sea bass was delicate, buttery, and absolutely delicious, while the shrimp cocktail appetizer was fresh and flavorful with a perfect kick in the cocktail sauce. A special shout-out to Mel at the bar. He made our pre-dinner drinks and conversation feel like we were longtime regulars. Friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable — she’s a real asset to the Arthur’s team. The rest of the staff followed suit, providing top-tier service with great attention to detail. If you’re in Little Rock and want a true fine dining experience, Arthur’s should be at the top of your list. We’ll absolutely be back. ⸻

The Caesar salad was a big disappointment as it didn’t come as menu explained. The Lobster/shrimp soup was ordinary without pronounced taste of either. Waiter never offered ground pepper for soup or salad. Other dishes were of high quality and flavor.

We came here based on the reviews, this restaurant has a lot of potential. The decor is great. Very classy. At first it seemed very promising, however our waiter made no effort to serve us. I had to flag him down to order after a lengthy wait and he seemed offened when we had questions about the menu. The service did not match the price considering what we spent. Everyone in my party got steak. Before our steaks arrived we were given a choice of knive for our meal which was cool, except they were all dull. Our food was incredibly mediocre especially for the price. The sides where on par with something I would expect from Coltons. I'm sorry but at $70/plate for what we ordered. I expect better.

The Fold: Botanas & Bar is a vibrant and stylish taqueria located in a renovated gas station, offering modern twists on Mexican dishes and handcrafted cocktails. The lively cantina atmosphere blends seamlessly with the upscale eatery vibe, creating a delightful dining experience. The roll-up garage doors and dog-friendly heated patio provide an inviting space to savor the flavors of Mexican cuisine while enjoying the trendy Riverdale design district.

Dre T — Google review
We've had up and down experiences with the Fold, and they haven't had to do with the food, which is generally good. They have more to do with the demeanor of some of the greeting staff and wait staff, which can be less than welcoming. The whole place has a cool, young, with-it vibe, a kind of I'm so cool that I can't be bothered with pretending to be friendly and polite vibe. Maybe as an older person, I expect a sort of non-brusque, authentic and human, approach from people with whom I interact in a public setting. And maybe increasingly younger folks are not socialized to see things this way. What's good about the Fold, the sometimes iffy reception and lack of politess in employees set to the side, is the food. The salsa roja is top-notch, loaded with cilantro and blessedly free of the sweeteners with which some Tex-Mex places not far from the Fold love to load their salsa. We had brunch today, and I found my plate of chilaquiles not bad but also not great. There are better chilaquiles to be found locally than these, which are on the dry side. The huevos rancheros my spouse enjoyed were, however, first-rate. We both thought so. It was a warmish but not hot April day, a breezy one, and sitting outside on the patio was very pleasant. This is another plus of the Fold, the ample outdoor seating at tables not crammed too close together.

FANTASTIC...Overly critical of food places and this one blew me away. Loved every aspect. Josh was legit and so chill. The vibe here was very laid back and fun. The food and drinks were exceptional. The spiced apple margarita and chorizo taco were legit some of the best I have ever had. Go here please. You won't regret it.

Wow! I’ve just had the best Mexican meal EVER!!! If you are ever in Little Rock, AR it’s a MUST GO. Started with house and blood orange margaritas. Aw man… Then our appetizer was the street corn dip with homemade chips. Devine! My husband had the beef tenderloin tamales, excellent. And the topper for me was the taco salad with chicken. This is hands down THE BEST taco salad I’ve had in my entire life. Perfectly fried shell bowl, and the game changer is the salad was mixed with the dressing Before going in the bowl. Then topped with perfectly marinated and grilled chicken. We finished our meal with seriously the best churros EVER. We stopped on our way during a road trip. Now I want to come back for lunch and try something else. Go. Run. You will not be disappointed.

Our recent dinner at The Fold left us thoroughly impressed. The restaurant's inviting atmosphere struck a balance between trendy and cozy, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. While the menu leans towards the pricey side, the exceptional quality of the dishes justifies the expense. The service was impeccable – friendly, attentive staff added to the overall positive experience. The drinks were a highlight, with a diverse selection that complemented the flavors of the dishes. My wife raved about the beef tamales, and my shrimp, catfish, and peach pastor tacos were a delightful fusion of flavors. The street corn botanas were a standout – a must-try for their unique and delicious blend of tastes. The Fold is not just a culinary gem but also kid-friendly, offering a dedicated menu for the little ones. The Fold in Little Rock provides a memorable dining experience with its great atmosphere, delicious food, attentive service, and fantastic drinks. Despite the slightly higher prices, the overall quality makes it a worthwhile indulgence. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a satisfying culinary adventure in Little Rock.

I used to love this place. But I’ve been snapped out of my hypnosis. $40 tab for a burrito and a margarita should be ILLEGAL.. don’t even get me started on the tacos. Damn near $5 for one bite sized taco. $10 for a kids sized queso. I love the food and vibes but I’d have to take out a loan to visit there again, and it’s not even fine dining

Fold, wonder how they got that name. Fun and funky place. Renovated garage look. Tacos are more on the small tapas side, but delicious. Tacos are reasonably priced! Plenty of booze choices. Bar area. I parked on the street for no fee. A few TVs for sports. Many patio seating choices. Looks like they can handle large groups. Great vibe! Staff friendly and efficient! 😀

Cajun restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Stifft Station, The Oyster Bar has been a beloved family-friendly destination since 1975, offering a delightful taste of Cajun-style seafood. This charming eatery is perfect for those craving classic dishes like shrimp gumbo and fried catfish, all served in a welcoming atmosphere. With an impressive selection of local beers and wines to complement your meal, you can enjoy favorites like Lost Forty brews or indulge in a black and tan with Bass Pale Ale and Guinness stout.
Our first experience at The Oyster Bar and they knocked it out of the park!! We started with an appetizer of both shrimp scampi and also the tuna poké. Both were amazing. I don’t even like raw tuna, but my goodness that poké was superb. For the main course, my husband and son both had a dozen assorted oysters. They were so good that my husband ordered another dozen. They also had the shrimp poboys. I ordered the shrimp creole as well as 6 oysters (3 cooked Rockefeller style and 3 Bienville. They were all delicious! I also had a Rosé wine as well as Mojito. Perfection with the food.👌🏻 Our 6 year old got the grilled cheese and fries. Plenty of food for her and she loved it. Jaime P was our server and boy did she know what she was doing! She made our experience fantastic. We knew going in that we were going to drop some money on the meal, but honestly it was worth it every penny. It’s so nice having oysters that are fresh and also a few different varieties. Overall, I recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area looking for a nice, clean atmosphere with friendly staff and great oysters (and shrimp options as well)!

This place was awesome. LR has been fantastic for food and this place was no exception. The oysters were shucked about 10 ft from us and they were incredible. I forgot which sandwich my coworker had, but it was very good as well. He was extremely happy with the food. The service was top notch, they were on top of it with drinks and checking in with us at decent intervals. The place had a nice seaside bar feel too it even though we are far from the ocean. Thanks guys!

I went for brunch and let me tell you I’m mad this establishment has been here in Little Rock for years and I never came to experience the goodness and vibe of this place. Let’s start with the staff first. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our waitress was on her stuff and showed excellent customer service. She made sure we were tended to. The drinks are on 🔥the lemon drop pomegranate didn’t let me or my friend down. I would love to come on a leisure day and splurge because their menu is everything if your a true seafood fan. The gumbo was meaty and full of flavor and the oysters im just let y’all see the pics….A+. This place is a vibe and it’s more for the grown folks. I’m sure a family would enjoy this restaurant as well but the vibe is giving let me and the girls or the fellas get a good drink and eat some good seafood. Will be coming back very soon!!

A jewel in a sea of mediocrity. Typically, I wouldn't eat oysters so far away from the sea but I decided to take a chance. The Oyster Bar is a winner. The food is simply amazing from the signature oysters to the Manchester grits. The food was so good, I went two days in a row. The only downside is the portion sizes are small for the price but worth the taste. Check it out if you are in the area. Horrible parking 😫

My family recently visited The Oyster Bar in Little Rock for the second time, hoping to share a wonderful dining experience with our guests. Initially, everything ordered exceeded our expectations fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. However, the experience turned sour when my daughter ordered a Tito’s Bloody Mary. The drink had a noticeably off taste and sour smell, perhaps due to an expired mixer. We politely informed our waitress, Amanda a pleasant, soft-spoken young lady—to request an exchange for something else similarly priced, like a simple margarita. Surprisingly, Amanda declined, claiming Arkansas law prevented drink exchanges, a claim I’ve found unsupported. Despite another guest at our table confirming the unpleasant taste, Amanda remained dismissive and only offered to add ingredients to improve it. To our disappointment, the issue became an unsettling spectacle. Amanda openly discussed our concerns with other employees, including someone we identified as possibly the owner or manager. Several staff members glanced our way, laughing and whispering. Amanda’s subsequent attentiveness diminished significantly, particularly compared to other tables, creating an uncomfortable sense of being unwelcome. When presenting the bill, Amanda made it a point, with a sly grin, to highlight that gratuity was already included. This overall dismissive treatment deeply saddened us, especially given the excitement we initially felt to celebrate a special occasion. The unprofessional conduct, perceived racial undertones, and visibly poor customer service overshadowed what should have been a delightful evening. This should have been a celebration of life a fun, eventful birthday dinner—but sadly, it was anything but that. We hope our experience serves as feedback for improvement and that future visitors won’t face similar disrespect or disappointment there food is amazing. FYI-We still have yet to find that Arkansas Law to where bars can not exchange alcoholic beverages as told by our dismissive waiter Amanda.

I had never been to this restaurant but saw that a friend of mine went there for their anniversary. My husband and I decided to try it around noon one Saturday. The wait was not long! Many of the options were great. I was a little disappointed by the build your own omelette. It only comes with three eggs and cheese and each additional add in item is roughly $1.50 with the meat options being from $2.50 to $3.99. Each omelette is $15.99, and there was not one omelette set up with a base that I would have liked. Essentially, I would have had to pay an additional $10-$15 charge on top of the $9.99 for the build your own omelette. I was, however, impressed that they had a crab omelette and a Philly cheese omelette!! Also, it should be noted that if you order cranberry tea, the tea is made with unsweetened tea. You can ask them to mix it with sweet tea and an orange slice and it is absolutely perfection!!!

I brought my mom here for the first time today and she was completely blown away. She was greeted like a long lost friend, with hugs and warm welcomes all around. The restaurant wasn't overly packed, as we arrived around 1:00 and had avoided the initial lunch rush. There was plenty of room to manuver her wheelchair and the hostess removed the extra chair without us even asking. Lots of times we're left to figure out how to get my mom's wheelchair situated, but they were right there to help. Our server was Jasmine, and she made a few recommendations from the drink list (lav/lemon mimosa or the brunch punch) and mom selected the Brunch Punch. As you can see, she was delighted (Thank you, bartender Julez)! I ordered a Brown Sugar Honey Matcha Latte and it was almost too pretty to drink! Tasted great too, like chai with a hint of brown sugar - I would have liked it to be burning hot rather than warm, but I think that's more my personal preference than anything else. Mom ordered the garden omelette, which had mozzerella, mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes - all favorites. I would have gotten a picture but she INHALED it, and took the croissant and strawberry butter back to the nursing home with her for a midnight snack. I had my favorite, the pecan pancakes. They were delicious! Throughout our meal, servers greeted her and said hello as they walked by, and she said it made her feel so special. Our server talked to her about nursing school, and even listened as my mom told her stories of her old nursing days. My mom can get a little nostalgic and Jasmine treated her as if what she had to say was of the utmost importance. Hosea gave her a great big hug when we left and thanked her for spending time with them. We even watched one of the other servers babbling and making faces with a baby in a high chair while her mom looked at the menu.... it's the little things like that, keeping a kiddo distracted so mom can breathe for a second... that keep people coming back to this place. Little classy touches, from the flowers on the table to the pleasant atmosphere. Sure it can get super crowded in there during the rush and a little hot with this hundred degree weather, but I really appreciate how they made my mom feel like a million dollars.

I don't know how I went so long without discovering this place! What a gem! I take my adult special needs daughter out every other week for breakfast/brunch, and had been going to the same places over and over (if we find a place we like, we're very loyal). I overheard someone mention this place, and decided to try it. We were NOT disappointed! The three times that we've been there, we have had incredible food, caring service and enjoyed ourselves greatly. I have friends coming in from out of town and am excited about bringing them in as well. Excellent menu with numerous options, and very unique. Excellent drinks and coffee drinks on the menu as well. Delightful!

Great little breakfast, brunch, lunch restaurant, now doubled in size. We had ten guys for breakfast today and everyone loved their food and the service was outstanding. Big note of thanks to our server, Ellie, who made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. All kinds of breakfast dishes on the menu and they have a lunch menu too, which I did not see today. They are not open for dinner. There are plenty of tables, so no waiting today, and the tables are spaced out enough that no one felt crowded. I would suspect weekend brunch is even more popular. I had the breakfast burrito, which included a layer of sausage and cheese, a layer of scrambled eggs and a layer of tater tots for a well stuffed burrito. A side of salsa made it complete. Plenty of ketchup for the hash browns, and Ellie made sure our coffee cups were never empty☕️. My first visit here, but it won't be the last!

Nestled in the heart of Little Rock, Mylo Coffee Co. has transformed from a modest stall at the Hillcrest Farmers Market into a vibrant coffee haven that perfectly blends style and comfort. With its airy atmosphere characterized by warm earthy tones, minimalistic white walls, and exposed brick accents, this charming spot is adorned with rustic wooden furniture and lush greenery. It’s an ideal setting for everything from casual meetings to cozy catch-ups or focused study sessions. Mylo Coffee Co.
I have to take a minute to write a review for this amazing little coffee shop that I found. I’m staying in a hotel nearby on my way through Little Rock. It’s New Year’s Day and I wanted to find a place that might have lavender coffee. These guys were open and I took a chance. Upon arrival, I loved it right away because the trim is painted in pink. I think that is a bold and charming choice. Inside they have live flowers in the basis and it looks like real hardwood floors! The two people that I dealt with were Friendly. They didn’t just give me a smile and a polite thank you or hello. They actually engaged me in conversation and were really perfect. I definitely recommend making this place. Your new coffee stop. I feel like the owner really loves it and takes care with every detail and it shows. This is what makes it worthy of being your main coffee or breakfast stop! Did I mention they make their own lavender syrup out of real lavender? They showed me the lavender and told me how to do it. Amazing!

Downtown open atmosphere, loved the bakery and food side of it. A great space to get work done or meet up with someone. They had a good selection of drinks and food!! I got the sea salt toffee latte but they had americanos and more classic options as well!! Their syrups were house made!

Great spot with plenty of outlets for studying, excellent food, and a super friendly team. The only drawback is the cups leak around the lid and can ruin your outfit for the day. I wish they’d change cup manufacturers for better ones, but maybe I should just start bringing my own. This would be an easy 5 stars if the cups didn’t leak :(

Visiting Little Rock for the month and stopped into this coffee shop. Ordered an iced mango matcha latte and I’m not even exaggerating when I say it was the best matcha latte I’ve ever had. The matcha was strong and not overly milky, and the mango was a perfect sweet contrast. The staff working there that day was also really kind and efficient - I was with a group and we ordered a lot of drinks but didn’t have to wait long for them.

My husband and I visited Mylo's for morning coffee while we were in town for a day. We wanted to give our patronage to a local establishment. The coffee was just as good or better than the place with the green mermaid. The young woman working the cash register was so very nice. Our drinks came out quickly and just as we ordered. We enjoyed Mylo's so much that we decided to come back for lunch. My husband had the turkey and cranberry sandwich and I had the chicken sandwich. Calling it simply a "chicken sandwich" is complete underbilling. This was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. It was grilled chicken, pesto aioli, TONS of avocado, and spring mix on thick toast. I'm sad I don't live in the area because I would definitely go back frequently for that sandwich! It was messy to eat and so delicious. The same sweet young woman took our order when we came back for lunch. I didn't think she would even recognize us, but she did and even apologized for not remembering our names! This was a great experience and I would highly recommend Mylo's for breakfast, coffee, or lunch.

Chicken wings restaurant
Slim Chickens is a fast-food chain that specializes in serving chicken dishes, along with Southern sides and desserts. The first location was established in 2003 in Fayetteville, Arkansas by Tom Gordon and Greg Smart. The founders experimented with the concept for years before opening the restaurant, initially cooking chicken in a garage to gather feedback and create their menu. Customers praise Slim Chickens for its fresh and never frozen chicken fingers, delicious sides, and signature sauce.
I had a fantastic experience at Slim Chickens on Markham! The food was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. There was a small issue with my order, but the staff handled it quickly and professionally. Cody was especially helpful—he went above and beyond to make sure everything was corrected and that I left completely satisfied. His customer service was outstanding and truly made the visit memorable. Also, I have to give a special shoutout to their Oreo milkshakes—hands down the best I’ve ever had! If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Slim Chickens on Markham. Great food, even better service—you won’t be disappointed!
Amelia H — Google review
This was my first time trying Slim Chickens, and unfortunately, it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. On the positive side, I received friendly service at the counter when placing my order for the Buffalo Tender Mac Bowl meal. The garlic toast that came with the meal was also fantastic—crispy, buttery, and cooked perfectly. However, the experience quickly went downhill from there. When the general manager brought my order to the table, she came across as rude and dismissive toward me, despite being noticeably friendly and upbeat with other patrons around me. It left a bad impression. As for the meal itself, the flavor of the mac and cheese bowl was decent, but the noodles were noticeably overcooked and mushy. The chicken tenders had an odd, rubbery texture that made them pretty unappetizing. On top of that, the buffalo sauce wasn’t mixed in well at all—I only got spicy flavor in a few bites, and the rest was pretty bland. To make things worse, while I was still actively eating, one of the employees tried to take my plate, making me feel rushed and unwelcome. Overall, between the uneven food quality, uncomfortable service experience, and feeling rushed out the door, I doubt I’ll be returning to this location anytime soon.

Here’s my honest review of this Slim Chickens location. I love coming here because the food is honestly amazing. I’ve been here twice, once on a busy Sunday and once on a quiet Tuesday. Both times were great in terms of taste, but I did notice a couple of things. First off, the staff are super nice, but it felt like they could use more help. It took about two minutes for my order to be taken at the drive-thru, which isn’t a big deal, but when I pulled around, I noticed the same lady was handling everything herself. She was taking orders, filling drinks, and running the window. It would really help if there were a few more people to support her. Like someone doing drinks, a couple more cooks, or an extra person in the lobby, just so everything could run a bit smoother. Also, the portion sizes were a bit off. On Sunday, my classic meal had plenty of fries, but on Tuesday, my Slim’s meal had fewer fries than I expected. Since I used to work at Slim Chickens, I know the usual portions, and it looks like the team might just need a little refresher on that. And to corporate: I really, really love your strawberry milkshake. But if you’re going to make the drink smaller, it would be great if the price could go down a bit too, just to match. I’m also including some pictures; not so much to point out portions, but just to show how delicious everything looks. Hopefully these little tweaks will make my next visit even better. Thanks for a lovely dinner!

Staff was super friendly, service was good. Chicken and fries were okay. The wings were nice size but i'm a breaded kinda guy so not having option was hurtful. Buffalo mac was an interesting idea. Not my cup of tea.

I frequent this Slims often because of how close it is to my work and have always had a great experience. It was pouring down rain today when I left the restaurant and a young man who works at this location walked outside with me with his umbrella. I wish I had gotten his name so I could shout him out specifically but I very much appreciate that kind gesture.

Came in for a late dinner while driving through Little Rock. Had the family with me. Staff seemed very unhappy to be there. We didn’t know or notice but the lemonade and tea containers had already been emptied and cleaning sanitizing solution placed in them. No sign or anything. My wife thought she served herself lemonade and drank it turned out to be soap or whatever they used. I asked the manager and she said oh yeah it’s sanitizing water then just walked away. Very disappointed with the service. Didn’t even ask if she was ok or how much she drank. Not even an apology. We walked in around 8:45 pm. Door says they close at 10. Manager told us the lobby was already closed.
Nicolas J — Google review
When they have a good crew this place is decent but they so inconsistent and make their own rules. They cook certain things when they want to and they close when they want to even-though the time says 11pm. Went today just for the staff in the drive thru to say “we closed at 10pm today!”
Khandiee E — Google review
Overall, it was a great experience. Chicken was a little bit salty but not too much. Sauce is just right as well. The peach tea is awesome. Toast was slightly burnt though. Service is extremely fast but if they're busy with other stuff like catering, they'll let you know. Restaurant is clean but needs a little touch up.

Nestled in the vibrant SoMa District of Little Rock, The Spot SoMa is a delightful café that has recently undergone a transformation from its previous identity as Press Waffle Co. This charming eatery offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal place for both casual coffee breaks and leisurely meals. Located at 1424 Main St.
The service was great, atmosphere was calm and the food was amazing! My family and I visited this place for brunch and everyone enjoyed their meal ( thats rare)! I ordered The Jules waffle with tenders (see photo) the waffle wasn’t dry, the cookie butter I LOVED!!!!! I also ordered the October cocktail of the month for breast cancer it was also good. For a family of 3 we spent $70 with 2 adult drinks. Also the parking wasn’t bad we parked across the street..My family and I will most definitely be returning!

The Spot is a new restaurant housed in formerly Press Waffle not apart of the new ownership. The Spot with similar menu options has its own spin on brunch which I myself was happy to sample first hand. I enjoyed the tomato basil soup with grilled cheese and a berry salad. The soup stood well alone but with the grilled cheese it was transported to the next level- great comfort food. The salad is large with blueberries and strawberries, also candied pecans which my friend could not stop stealing from my plate. You will also see a slider which my friend paired with the Mac and cheese is said 10/10. You can enjoy your meal with the mimosas which did the trick but be prepared to stay awhile between the food and drinks you may get lazy so grab a board game which is available just inquire with staff and let your food and drinks digest. Clean restrooms and great staff, I’d definitely recommend. Do forget to checkout the outside dining area the atmosphere here was great for friends or networking. I did forget the coffee bar station just go check it out yourself. Worth it.

I ran across this little place while exploring the downtown area and decided to take someone with as soon as possible ! The service was exceptional. Very friendly staff and manager . The atmosphere was cool ! We sat next to a huge window that allowed us to look out at traffic and walkers by as we dined . Let’s get to the good part ! The food and drinks were good . I ordered the Classic waffle with eggs over easy . Someone decided on mango mimosas lol , and the manager really talked us into getting a “better deal” by ordering the bottle so it would have an unlimited sort of feel … he said it was cheaper to do … but if you’re looking for cheap this isn’t your place . Be ready to have a little change . The crawfish boudin eggrolls were my favorite - and get this … I’m not a boudin fan … I’ve had it several ways and several times and it’s not my cup of tea . This was good . The sauce was Thai chili which was perfect . I’m a little sad they didn’t tell me I had a choice of sauces because looking at their menu online today I see there are several choices . I liked this little place . The only criticism I have is that the mango for the mango mimosa is not enough at all and it’s literally just some mango juice which I guess is to be expected … it’s a bit pricey for the small amount of juice . You end up drinking mostly champagne- well they do - whoever indulges lol … It’s definitely a do over !

I recently visited this restaurant and while the space itself is very aesthetically pleasing and the woman at the front counter was kind, the experience quickly went downhill. Our food arrived with a surprisingly poor presentation — served on trays with parchment paper — and the silverware was handed to us and placed directly on the bare table, which felt unsanitary. I had ordered chicken and waffles with ice cream, and when it arrived, the ice cream was already completely melted over the food. I politely asked to speak with a manager and inquired, “Do the plates normally come out like this?” I also asked if we could return the untouched plates and receive a refund. The manager, unfortunately, responded rudely and dismissively, saying: “No, you cannot have a refund. Yes, your ice cream is melted. It’s a regular scoop like at other restaurants. You haven’t even tried it yet.” At no point did he offer to remake the food or allow us to select something else. We had already paid $52 for the two meals before even receiving our order, so this was not a case of trying to avoid paying — we simply weren’t satisfied with the presentation or quality and hadn’t touched the plates. His only solution was to offer us to-go boxes, which felt dismissive and unhelpful. Overall, the customer service was poor and the food presentation did not match the price point. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others based on this experience.

Great brunch option! Glad I visited earlier before the crowd thickened, decent seating and lovely ambiance. Mimosa flight was my least favorite But I absolutely loved the BLT made with fried green tomatoes Also tried the Cristo waffle which was well balanced sweet saltiness Would recommend and definitely return to try other menu options

A great cozy little chill spot with seats outside. Nice little jams on and delicious food. Cristo was the right amount of sweet savory flavor with a nice crispy fluffy waffle and the chicken on the chicken a waffles was flavorful with the right amount of crisp.

Such a wonderful overall experience! The atmosphere was clean and cozy, vibes a plus! Not to mention that EVERY member of the staff was patient and accommodating. They really took the time to go over the menu and help me make a selection (there was a good variety of them! I cannot rate the taste of the food yet because my order is to go but it smells so good and the presentation is! on point! This place is definitely FOODIE approved!!!!!

Paninis & Company in Little Rock offers a variety of smoothies made with 100% real fruit and no added sugar. The Pink Dragon smoothie, a favorite among customers, is a refreshing blend of coconut milk, apple juice, pineapple, mango, mint and dragon fruit. The staff is knowledgeable about their drinks and can guide both beginners and experienced juice drinkers. In addition to the delicious smoothies, the turkey melt sandwich is highly recommended by locals.
Don't be afraid to try anything here. The staff is informative on their drinks and will let you know what's good for beginner and advanced juice drinkers (it seems as though this is a big deal in this area so I applaud this). I had the turkey melt and a green juice, for which the name slips me. All was good! Born here in LR, I'm comfortable saying this place is HIGULY recommended.

I visited this place yesterday to renew what I thought would be a free juice pass. I had reached my reward status after visiting and purchasing juices at this place for a while. However, when I arrived, I was told it would be the next visit that I'd receive my free juice reward, but another employee had told me on Monday that it would be yesterday's visit when I'd receive my free juice instead. Nevertheless, what disturbed me was the whispering of an employee (the same employee who told me on Monday that I'd receive my free juice yesterday) who suggested that I was being difficult for questioning why I was not able to receive my free juice reward. So, I've decided not to visit this place again because it doesn't seem to meet its own customer policy about purchasing rewards. Additionally, when I feel disrespected or disregarded by any company's employees, I tend to cease my visits/purchases. I am almost certain that the same guy who whispered something about me while I was standing there trying to understand the company's reward process, wouldn't have behaved or treated a customer who is white with the blatant disrespect he treated me. Still, I purchased a juice yesterday. As I told the employee who seemed to have an issue with my questioning the company's reward policy, I live out of town and only visit Little Rock to see relatives. I was so adamant about getting my reward juice because I did not know with certainty that I'd be able to get it in the near future. I simply wanted to take advantage of the reward process while I was in town. But, that's okay. I will not visit this place again, and I do not recommend it to anyone else because they don't seem to value their customers.

Boulevard Bread Company is a versatile establishment that combines the elements of a coffee shop, deli, and bar. It offers an array of breakfast options including quiche and breakfast sandwiches made with their signature 8-grain bread. The staff is known for being exceptionally friendly and attentive to regular customers. The coffee is highly praised, particularly the vanilla iced latte.
Bypass the hospital cafeteria for breakfast and lunch at Boulevard Bread Company. Don’t be satisfied with the nearby Subway when you can have a great sandwich on wonderful bread and amazing desserts and snacks. Good coffee too. They are in the Medical Towers I building connected to the gift shop space. You can walk directly there from the main hospital lobby without going outside. They close at 3. This turkey with avocado on a baguette with organic greens and house made mayo was very good. We subbed provolone for the pepper jack. We split a whole sandwich and shared a slice of a very special pumpkin roll in my wife’s 6th floor room.

Hey I love Scottish Brian that runs the place! It's the first time I've ever had anything from here and that was coffee. I'm rather surprised pleasantly! I give props where they are due! I'm not a fan of the aftertaste of Starbucks or 7brew or whatever it's called I wasn't impressed with it at all! I had simple coffee creamer and a pump of Carmel!!!! THIS COFFEE IS SO GOOD!!!!! They did not steam the milk and all that jazz. Just plain simple and it's better than the expensive Carmel coffee drink that I will get as a treat because it's masked by sweetness. I'm glad and kinda mad I tried it cause now I'm going to have to come here just to have this coffee sometime!! It's that good! If it makes me what to come up to this hospital and I don't have an appointment, then you know it must be good!
