The park is so beautiful and lovely! I simply enjoyed the vibe here and had a wonderful time just taking a morning walk in it. You can feel the balanced mixture of nature and human in this place, all the colors and cool architectures are also making visiting this place a unique experience. Definitely recommend to come and visit, such a nice place to chill and relax.

The world famous Plaza de Espana is residing inside the Maria Luisa Park. After watching so many beautiful pictures of this place, I finally made it to get there this past July. Though the weather was scorching hot at >95F during the summer, it was still rewarding to visit this magnificent place. The Plaza was built around 1928 to show case Spanish heritages and history. Thus you can find sections of the regions decorted by colorful ceramic tiles to illustrate their cultures. The plaza has a built-in small canal for boating. But it was closed at the time when an outdoors concert was set up, incidently, the concert stage also consumed most of the plaza real estate. But that did not stop the daily activities at the plaza. A group of artists performed the Flamenco dance in the square, which really highlighted the Spaniards' passion. I was told the dance was originated in Seville. And Seville used to be the center of Spain before Madrid became the Capital. The are plenty of suveniors to buy at the square. The most popular one is probably the castanet after watching the Flemenco dance. Highly recommend this place if you visit Sevelli.

Whether you’re going alone, with a partner, or with a group, there’s something for everyone. As someone from Argentina, I brought my mate and had an absolutely amazing time. It’s a great place to sit under the trees, relax, have a picnic or some tea, and just enjoy the surroundings. The public restrooms are clean and well maintained. Dogs are welcome, and there are open areas where people can relax or play — including picnic zones, which I loved. 🟢 Highly recommended! Definitely one of my favorite parks in Seville. A must-visit if you’re in the city.

Lovely park with beautiful plants, lots of animals and a bunch of interesting sights. Perfect for both a walk and also just to chill due to several benches where you can relax in the shadow. Cicadas can be a bit loud depending on the season and the horse carriages leave behind their dumps everywhere, leading to bad smell at some areas.

What a fantastic place to visit, and walk around. We used the Hop on Hop off bus to get there, it was so easy. You can spend a couple of hours walking round.

I thought it would be much smaller than it was! Walked in when passing by and saw that it might be a nice stop but it was so much more! Lots of rooms and courtyards to explore. Allow time to walk around and appreciate the effort put into creating such a special place. Provides a glimpse into the history that shaped this blend of art and cultural styles.

Great place with fabolous architecture. If you're visiting Sevilla it's worth checking in out. We went there on a Friday and there weren't many people. There's an option to book a tour for the upper floor which I can recommend. The tour was only provided in Spanish, however the guide was very friendly and explained some things in English as well. He made the tour fun and interactive which was great. There is also a free audio guide which can be accessed by scanning the QR code received at the entrance. The rooms are numbered so it's clear which audio to play. Overall it was a great experience.

I dont know why this place has a low rate at reviews but in my opinion this place is stunning. There you can clearly see the mixture of cultures, the rooms with arabic culture and azulejos are soooo beautiful. The gardens also so beautiful. I bought only the first floor and i think its enough to take the essence of the place. I bought the tickets two days before arriving and found them in the official site.

It is somehow difficult to recommend, but at the same time it is also an interesting building. First and foremost, the mosaics on the building are beautiful, and the mix of architectural styles from different regions and periods is very interesting. However, many areas are deteriorated and in need of restoration. Some rooms are open to the public, but serve more as storage than anything (building materials, a random bike here, a bunch of columns stappled on the floor there). The audio guides are interesting but not adequate. The audio guides have a bunch of very detailed (perhaps too detailed) information, but they are too long. After the third audio you loose interest. I would recommend to shorten the audio guides to the most relevant aspects of each area, and complement with text on boards or posters on each room. I stopped hearing after the fourth audio. The bathrooms are dirty and not an enjoyable experience. The area of the palace is also relatively small. Therefore, compared to the Alcázar, 12€ per person is on the expensive side (18 if you want to access the second floor), even more considering the state of the edification.

Excellent condition and educational as well! This was one of our stops as part of a Globus tour group. We really liked hearing about this history, background and uses of the rooms within the structure. It’s also nice to see original as well as restored architecture within.

Beautiful palace with Mudejar, Renaissance and Gothic architecture coming together in blissful harmony. Very pretty peaceful courtyard garden to sit in and while away an hour. Definitely worthwhile a visit and considerably quieter than the much larger Real Alcazar. We came on a Thursday and just bought tickets at the entrance.

The ground floor is relatively interesting (it still requires work and maintenance as there were lots of missing or broken tiles in certain places), but to ask 12 euro is way too much for what you actually get. Without the audioguide you can take a few pictures and see everything in 10 minutes.

Make sure you book at least one to two weeks in advance — it fills up fast, and with good reason. The Alcázar is absolutely breathtaking. The detail in the architecture is something else — arches, tiles, carvings, gardens… it’s a living masterpiece. The Mudejar style (that blend of Islamic and Christian design) gives it such a layered, soulful feel. You can really feel the history here — not just see it. We decided to book the 8:30am VIP tour with GetYourGuide, and it was one of the best decisions of our trip. No queues, no chaos — we were inside before the heat and the crowds. Anna, our guide, was phenomenal. So passionate, informed, and completely in love with the place — her energy brought it all to life. Worth every single cent. Go early, go with a guide, and take it all in slowly.

The Royal Alcazar of Seville is a beautiful palace & garden in the centre of the historic old town centre of Seville. Architecture & art from the 11th century are on display - from the Andalusian era, Gothic from the time of Alfonso X, & Mudejar from the time of Pedro I. The carved plaster & stone wall friezes, colourful geometric wall tiles, & Mudejar painted & copper covered mahogany wooden ceilings are exquisite. The formal gardens are extensive & offer glimpses of water pools & fountains, amongst trees & sculptured hedges. Booking in advance is essential, & allow up to 3 hours for the visit. There is a really nice cafe in the garden, serving drinks, cakes, & light snacks, & this is reasonably priced. This is a world heritage site for good reason - this is truly a world class historic attraction. 10/10.

We spent an entire afternoon visiting this his historic royal palace. We enjoyed meandering through the rooms and admiring the art and architecture. The gardens outside were so beautiful and offered additional views of the exterior architecture. We walked, sat, and admired the beauty all around us.

Honestly, the place is pure magic. I’ve seen countless pictures, but nothing prepared me for how breathtaking it is in person. The sheer amount of detail in the architecture is incredible, and you can see so much history in the different styles. The gardens are a whole other level—they're huge and so beautiful, with hidden corners and fountains everywhere. It’s the perfect escape from the city heat. I could have happily spent the entire day just wandering through them. My biggest recommendation, especially if you're visiting in the summer, is to pre-book your tickets online. Seriously, don't even think about showing up to buy them on the day. The lines can be absolutely brutal, and you'll spend a ton of time waiting in the heat. Booking online gets you a specific time slot and lets you skip the main queue, so you can head straight to security and start exploring right away. It's the best way to make sure you get in and make the most of your visit without any stress.

Amazing palace and gardens. Don't just go there during the day. The light show Naturaleza Encendida in the evenings (Oct till March, I think) is well worth the separate ticket too (dress well, it's much more chilly inside the gardens than outside in the streets).

Interesting to see a castle transition from Muslim to Christian nobility. Very few people venture far into the gardens, so peaceful. While the tickets are timed, you can show up to 30 minutes after the selected time. If after your selected time, you can just walk in without the line. The free audio guide is good, although you have to skip through advertising for the paid version.

It was a military watchtower in Seville constructed in 13th century and served as a prison. The tower is divided into three levels. It is one of two anchor points for a large chain that would have been able to block the river. The other anchor-point has since been demolished or disappeared. Picturesque place by the river. Must see place. Great place for photography. Wear comfy shoes, take water, wear hat, sunscreen

The Torre del Oro is a fascinating historical landmark in Seville. It’s not a very big tower, but its history makes it worth a visit. The small museum inside gives a nice overview of Seville’s naval past and maritime trade, especially during the time of the Spanish Empire. From the top, you get beautiful views of the Guadalquivir River and the city. It doesn’t take long to visit, so it’s a perfect stop while walking along the riverside.

The Tower of Oro is a wonderful little museum that offers great insight into the history of the remarkable discoveries made by the Spanish. From the top, you can enjoy stunning views of both the river and the city. The ticket price was very reasonable, and I highly recommend a visit.

A most interesting and enjoyable visit . Lots to read and see. During the 16th century the tower witnessed the departure of the expedition that made the first circumnavigation of the globe, the famous Spice Fleet, which began with five ships and 239 men under the command of Magellan , only one ship returned, the Victoria with 18 survivors under the command of Juan Sebastian de Elcano. Very easy to wander through this museum but it took me ages as I read every single plaque.

One of the iconic landmarks in Seville. The small museum inside showcases insights of Spain‘s history and naval legacy. You get a free audio guide and the information seems to be very interesting , however, it’s not working properly, at least without headphones - the recording stops the second your screen light goes off and then you need to start it from the beginning, so at some point I just gave up. You can climb to the top and while it’s not the tallest building, you still get some nice views over the city. There is no entry fee, but you are expected to make a small donation.

Torre del Oro is one of those landmarks that instantly draws your attention as you stroll along the river in Seville. It’s not a massive structure, but it has a strong presence and a lot of history packed into it. The tower was originally built in the 13th century by the Almohads, who ruled much of southern Spain during that time. It was part of the city’s river defense system, and its name comes from the golden reflection it supposedly cast on the water centuries ago. We visited during a weekday and were pleasantly surprised that there was no entry fee. Inside, there’s a small but interesting naval museum that gives you a peek into Seville’s maritime past. The best part is climbing to the top, where you get a panoramic view of the Guadalquivir River, the Triana neighborhood, and the city skyline. Even if you don’t go inside, it’s a beautiful spot to walk by and take in the atmosphere. It’s a quiet piece of Seville’s rich history that’s definitely worth checking out, especially if you’re already exploring the riverfront area.

Legendary building in Sevilla This is a beautiful tower in Andalusia. Part of the BIG 3 you have to do, with the Mezquita, the Giralda and obviously l'Alhambra. The Giralda is a beautiful tower sitting right in the town centre or the old town. It is a fabulous building and looks really grand. It can obviously be visited but you really need to book for this like most impressive sites in Spain. Highly recommended we really enjoyed it!

We visited on a weekday afternoon and had to line up several times — first to get in, then again for audio guides, and finally to enter La Giralda. The tower is well laid out, with around 35 ramps and rest stops along the way for those who need them. Most people should be able to make the climb without too much trouble. However, it was extremely crowded. The path is narrow, so you go up and down in a single file, often shoulder to shoulder with others. Once at the top, you line up again just to get a view out of each window, and there are fences that make it hard to get a clear look. There didn’t seem to be any real crowd control at the top, which really took away from the experience. If you’re claustrophobic, I’d skip this part. There are plenty of other great spots in Seville to see panoramic views of the city. The cathedral itself was much more enjoyable — there were clear signs and pamphlets explaining the art and architecture. That said, unless you get the audio guide, there’s not much context provided about the tower itself.

La Giralda is a former Muslim minaret transformed into a church bell tower, symbolizing the fascinating transition from one culture to another. The construction itself is magnificent, a true masterpiece of architecture. Be prepared for a bit of a workout—the climb to the top can be challenging, but it’s absolutely worth it. The panoramic views of Seville from above are breathtaking. I highly recommend this unforgettable experience.

The area encompassing the open area next to the Seville Cathedral and surroundings. The history is amazing. There is a large sistern below the outdoor open area enclosed by the walls of the Giralda. This was essential for providing clean cool water to the town in antiquity. The Guadalquivir River was likely not the best place to get drinking water due to the number of upstream towns and villages likely dumping sewer into the river.

The tour is about 35 ramps with only steps at the end so easier to manage for old and young. Originally it was so guards on horseback could ride to the top. It was totally busy at 4 pm on a Monday in October. Tickets in advance are necessary unless it’s really off season. Shoulders must be covered and anyone showing up in a tank top could buy a wrap for 3€. They said legs should be covered to the knees but there were plenty of shorts that they didn’t make an issue of.

Giralda is the tower of the Sevilla Cathedral. It has no steps, just a continuous ramp up to the top, which makes it very easy to climb. The space is wide for a bell tower. The views from the top are amazing. I bought the tickets online, so there was no waiting for us.

The interior of this cathedral was very ornate with beautiful gold sculptures. I bought a ticket for a smaller Church nearby which included a ticket to the cathedral. This allowed me to bypass the very long line to buy tickets at the cathedral. The other church was nice too.

The Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Sevilla is full of tradition. I did not attend a bullfight, so I cannot comment on that experience. However, the plaza also houses a small museum that offers insight into this ancient practice. I was drawn to visit mainly because of a poem (Alguns toureiros) by João Cabral de Melo Neto, which reflects on famous bullfighters from Andalusia. While my visit was not centered on the spectacle itself, I found the history and cultural context presented there to be fascinating.

An historic building with regrettable past now turned into a museum and occasional concert venue. It’s only 12€ for entrance and it’s well worth the price of entry. I learned a lot about the history of bullfighting, the respect for the bulls, and saw tons of posters, paintings, old outfits and memorabilia. The best part of the visit by far was to actually getting to see the arena. It’s expansive and you can feel the history steeped in the seats. I had a great time visiting and if you’re in Seville, I think you should check it out.

The Plaza de Toros is beautiful and full of history. The architecture is impressive, and the museum gives a great look into the tradition of bullfighting. However, my family and I were disappointed because the information only showed the opening hours for the museum, not for any real-time bullfighting shows. We thought we could experience a live show but discovered it was just the museum visit. It would be very helpful if the official listings and tickets clearly explained whether there are live bullfights scheduled or if it’s only the museum open. Overall, worth visiting for the history and architecture, but clearer information about events and shows would make the experience much better.

It’s beautiful but slightly disappointing that there’s no performance there anymore, the ticket is only for entry the place, and they have 2 small galleries for the bullring arts and the historical pieces. Not super impressive and will take around a hour or less to get through everything.

Really cool and unique experience, but make sure you know what you’re going to before buying tickets. I didn’t realize exactly what bullfighting was until I got there, it’s definitely intense and not for everyone. Still, it was fascinating to see such a historic part of Spanish culture. The ticket price was reasonable, and I’d recommend dressing similar to how you might for a horse race; a bit nicer than casual. Also, if you plan to go, it’s not a bad idea to grab a drink beforehand since you can’t bring alcohol in and the price can add up quick.

I looks wonderful from the outside, but there is sadness and tragedy behind those walls. I feel sorry for the animals, but understand it is an important local tradition. Never went inside, can't bear the thought of it.

Located just right next to the Catedral de Sevilla, Archivo de Indias will be a nice short visit to see another part of history in this city. The rooms where they put all the archives are beautiful. We spent around 30 minutes here, with a nice history telling to our kids.

The Archivo de Indias is a fascinating place to get a glimpse into the era of Spain’s great conquests. The building itself is beautiful, with elegant classical architecture that adds to the experience. Admission was free when I visited, which makes it an even more worthwhile stop. I definitely recommend it to anyone interested in history or Spanish heritage.

Free museum at the building where they stored all the archives from Spanish colonial times. There are portraits of the directors of the archive, as well as information on the trips of discovery and colonialism. It is a beautiful building right next to the Cathedral of Sevilla and it is worth a short visit, it should not take more than half an hour to visit all of it.

Hard to describe the disappointment I experienced having visited this archive today. To be fair, my expectations were quite high as I just came back from a 6 months trip throughout South America where I learned a lot about Spanish colonialism. However, in this archive not a single word is uttered about the cruelty of the Spanish conquest of the Latin American countries, the mistreatment and injustice towards native inhabitants of the continent, their traditions and livelihood. All you will find in this archive is praise for the humanitarian and educational mission of the conquistadores, the great achievements of having founded universities abroad and the alleged wisdom the Spanish empire brought to the peoples that became slaves to a culture and religion they were never asked to be part of. As the archive's website claims there are supposed to be '[..] about eighty million pages of original documents that allow us to delve deeper into more than three centuries of history of an entire continent every day, from Tierra del Fuego to the southern United States, in addition to the Spanish Far East and the Philippines: political and social history, economic history and mentalities, ecclesiastical history and art history [..]' As a visitor you will not get to see a single one of these actually important documents, neither will you be enabled a 'deep delve' into the history of the colonies. Very narrow and misleading framing of a significant source of history for about 440m people that to date feel the inequality the colonisation brought to their lives, let alone the millions that died from diseases and enslavement the Europeans brought to their continent. A nation as educated and conscious about their 'humanitarian mission' as Spain should know and do better than this.

A beautiful building worth a visit but not much of a "museum", the archives are all on the shelves and you can't touch them.

Almost forgotten between Alcazar and the cathedral, this building was developed by the same architect as the Escorial. Worth a visit while waiting for the other two.

The amounts spent on these construction projects are just mind-blowing. And when you remember how many people lost their health or even died there, it gets uncomfortable. 1. Tourists today admire the marble, the gold, the columns—but for someone, all this cost a life. Nobody remembers the names of the workers, though nothing would exist without them. 2. Sometimes I look at these buildings and think: was all this beauty really worth those sacrifices? For some, it’s a symbol of the nation, but for others, it’s years and strength lost. Honestly, I’m always a bit envious of the architects of that time—to plan something on this scale takes real talent. But at the same time, I feel for those who paid for this “eternity” with their health. I can’t feel just one way about it. The architecture is impressive, but the price was enormous. Sometimes you look at a cathedral and realize there’s a heavy shadow behind all that beauty. What about you? Can you just admire places like these, or do you also think about the price?

Sept 2025. Wow! Time was lost as soon as we arrived. Spent a good part of the day just cruising around this gorgeous place and beautiful parks surrounding it. Was easy to walk around, not hoards of tourists (even though i was one haha). The water and bright green flora just popped colour against the majestic architectural marvel that commands its prescence in a humongous semicircle. There are 52 mosaics with tiles representing each province (i didnt count them to check ok). The beautiful Vicente Traver Fountain is in the centre with bridges crossing the canal, good photo opportunities!! It was also a back drop for Star Wars II. Cool. Rent a boat and bob around the small canals for something a bit different, you may spot some fish swimming happily underneath and ducks nurturing their babies, cute as. Part of the building is used by government institutions too. There were some VERY talented musicians playing underneath/amongst the super grand stairways leading up to some great viewpoints. And when you're done with all the beauty of this place, you can check out a couple of stalls out the front, then walk and embark on another adventure, the grand parks and grounds surrounding this place emersed with its own history and beauty. Great place for fitness and many people running, cycling, walking and chilling. My advice, don't skip this place, its a feast for the soul ;)

Oh my goodness. This is an absolute must to see. Worth coming to Seville just to see this. It's absolutely stunning and photos cannot do it justice. As you walk around it, you get to see yet another photo you just have to take. Can't recommend this more. Also, next to it resides a stunning park with lots of interesting structures or features interspersed within it. I recommend doing a zigzag walk through it to find them all. Made for a very satesfying day

Visited Plaza de España in Seville early in the morning in October 2025 to beat the crowds. Built in the 1920s, it features stunning semi-circular architecture blending Spanish Renaissance and Moorish styles, with colorful tiles, fountains, canals, and ornate bridges—truly a photogenic and iconic landmark. When we visited, the canal was dry, but when filled, visitors can row boats along the curved canal for a unique view of the bridges and colonnades. Horse-drawn carriage rides around the plaza and nearby Parque de María Luisa offer a classic, leisurely way to explore the area. We also saw a couple of locals selling souvenirs on the ground. A must-see when visiting Seville!

Loved this Planet Naboo scenery in Seville (Star Wars fan here). It is breathtakingly beautiful and one rarely gets to see something of this scale in real-life. It is simply majestic to visit.

The Plaza de España is one of the most beautiful squares I have ever seen. The majestic central palace blends seamlessly with the serene water canal, creating a truly breathtaking scene. In front of the square, there is a charming garden that adds even more to the beauty of the place. You can also admire the detailed mosaics, each one depicting the history of a different Spanish city—a wonderful way to explore the country’s heritage in one spot. Best of all, the entrance is free, and I highly recommend visiting if you come to Seville.

Magnificent! A simply amazing place to visit. Nobody wouldn't like the beautiful architectures and the smart designs. It really deserves the name of "Plaza de España", it truly shows how grand an empire was and how brilliant the people were. Visited twice, both in the morning and the evening, and both breathtakingly beautiful. I really like the fountain, not a big fan of the horse carts though. In general really a landmark and nice place you wouldn't want to miss when in Seville.

Wonderful self guided tour!! Plan to take about 45 minutes. It has an audio guide you can listen to in multiple languages. You can access via your phone or the gift shop has devices you can use for this purpose. A neat act is that someone actually lives in the building. He doesn't have much meaning for them or seeing them. I believe the cost was roughly 14 euros. I recommend doing the audio tour as you go through. You can skip ahead at any time, the rooms are numbered so you know which audio to select. There was some minor road construction leading to the palace, but there are signs to ensure that you can find your way

The tickets weren’t expensive, and there was no line at all – we didn’t have to wait. Inside, it was very quiet and peaceful, with only a few people around. The atmosphere was incredibly calming and beautiful. It’s a perfect place just to sit, relax, and watch the surroundings. We were absolutely mesmerized and spent hours inside, taking photos and simply enjoying the view. If you’re visiting Seville, this is definitely a place you should stop by. Highly recommended – it’s truly enchanting.

It’s a smaller and much more quiet palace compared to the Alcázar. But it’s still very much worth a visit in my opinion. Also just because it’s smaller, it doesn’t mean that it’s small by any standard - it has multiple courtyards, beautifully decorated rooms, and a stable. You can do a self-guided audio tour but we just walked around and read the plaques. Overall, it’s a fun palace to visit.

We visited the Palace as wanted to see the gardens. Smaller than some but plenty to see and it's absolutely beautiful. The place is like a little maze with something else to look at round every corner. Loved this palace and gardens.

Palacio de las Dueñas is an amazing historical residence in the heart of Seville. It belongs to the House of Alba, one of the most distinguished noble families in Spain. The palace is stunning, with strong Moorish influences, beautiful gardens, and vibrant colors throughout. Everything is very well maintained, and the property is quite large, so make sure to allow enough time to explore it fully. A truly memorable visit — I highly recommend it!

Palacio de las Dueñas was the highlight of my August Bank Holiday break to Seville. It's unassumingly beautiful with a natural elegance and charm, far from the madding crowd. The richly decorated rooms were delightful and the gardens tranquil, interspersed with the gentle flow from the water features. In my opinion, a must see!

A hidden gem in Seville! A must visit for a perfect way to spend a few hours on a hot day. Lovely gardens and palace with a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Tickets were very reasonable priced and you get an audio guide included too.

We walked and cross Triana bridge not realizing that there was a Mercado de Triana (not in our itenerary). We are very pleased to find this place and had a great dining experience at Cerveceria Loli. Love their seafood paella. We were lured at their Garbanzos Fritos Con Gambas Al Ajillo Plato (fried chikpeas with garlic prawns) but not a fan. I advise that you order something else when they offer this.

The market was nice. Not so many food options for seating and eating right there. There was 2 paella shops. We ate from one of them. It was also cooking fish. We order 1 paella and red prawns. Paella was okey nothing much. It contain bean. I didnot like it. Prawns were delicious. You can buyfish, vegetables at the market. It is not so big. It closing around 15.00. There was also olive chops but not tried. It was at the center. Location is good and you can find it easily.

Great to walk around. Tourist trap . Super expensive for the Aussie traveller. $60aud for 1 vermouth and 6 pincho Tasted great though!

Went here to buy some fruits and cheese. On both times it was not crowded at all which is the way I like it. The produce looked pretty fresh. Not sure if this is the type of market locals shop. Clean and some seating area to enjoy your snacks or meals.

Good atmosphere mixed tourists and locals eating and drinking lunch more of place to eat than shop but the fruit and fish stalls were good. Speciality coffee shop was amazing for both coffee and delicious ice cream cheaper than other places tried.

Go there around 12 when all shops are open. You can sample local foods. You will see lots of tours going in and out. You can also take classes there as well.

We bought our tickets in advance for 22:00 but luckily we were able to change the time of the ticket to see the sunset from here. It was absolutely stunning and nice to have a view from above. Unfortunately we had to leave for another appointment before seeing the light show at night. But if you have time linger around. This was great!

One of the best parts of my 3 months in Europe traveling!! A beautiful structure you could spend hours looking over the city at. I went at 6:45 after booking an online reservation about 2 days prior due to still being lots of tourists in the area. It was the perfect time! I beat somewhat of the sunset rush, so I could explore the structure and see it during the daytime. Then returned to the main viewpoint to watch the sunset and the lights turn on. It does get extremely busy around sunset, with very little space at the top miradouro. A rooftop bar in the surrounding area would have just as good views with less crowds BUT staying up after sunset allows you to see the lights turn on from the top which is SOO cool. The little film they show at the end is interesting and the theater is well kept with comfortable seating. Well worth the €16 I spent for full admission!

I enjoyed the Setas. It's a large structure made to resemble mushrooms. There is a deck above the ground level which anybody can access. The view is nice. You can also pay yo go up on an elevator to the top for a view of the city. There is an indoor market in the ground floor area that has all sorts of vendors. They have various good seafood vendors. There are coffee shops and tapas bars. It's a neat place to hang out got a while and just browse. If your in Seville for a couple days it's well worth checking out.

Love the look of the design and was pleasantly surprised at how well the structure fitted into the surroundings. If you wish to see the sunset, buy tickets at least 2 days in advance. We didn't buy tickets to see the sunset because we bought them 24 hours before, and the first available tickets were at 20:00. This is a good time to see the light show. The light show is with music, and it is a little crowded, but everyone gets a chance to take photos and videos if they wait for a few minutes. You can watch a short movie included in the ticket, and I suggest watching it. You can spend as much time there as you want. It's a must-visit when in Seville.

Standing beneath this structure and looking up is truly awe inspiring. In the evening, colored lights are shifting and moving around inside the structure which makes it even more magical. Underneath this statue at the ground level is a market for meat, fish and a couple tapas bars that are also quite good. The market is only open in the morning and early afternoon. At one end of the statue is a large staircase where there is often live music played by street musicians. Down below the market are some Roman ruins.

Personally I felt this was a huge let down. It is amazing from the ground but you could see certain blocks that weren’t lighting up, but we had to see what the hype was about, so we paid the $16 euros each and went to the top. The idea is a good one with light mood music being played and the lights moving and lighting in unison to the music. The downside to this is the street performers directly below you playing AC/DC, Guns N Roses, and, I kid you not, N-Sync. These performers drown out any music related to the lights. Next for the lights. They need to do some maintenance, because a large percentage of the lights aren’t working, you can see this in the pics and videos. Basically they built something that is cool in concept but they haven’t maintained it. The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of two is for the immersive movie at the end, very cool and a must see. Pretty much all I found this good for was to go up to have a 360* view of the skyline and sights but it is DEFINITELY NOT worth $16 euros, maybe 8-10.

A nice, mostly wooden structure with a great viewpoint. At the top there’s a walkway and an information board showing which landmarks you’re looking at. In my opinion it’s nicer in the evening, because the landmarks are lit up and the structure itself has a light show. The entrance fee of €16 per person is a bit pricey, but I think it’s worth it.

Excellent museum and very good value at €1.50 for non residents. Rucksacks and bags have to be stored in the free lockers. Allow time as there are a lot of rooms containing artsworks. There are the usual religious works but also many works relating to local and social history. Well worth a morning of your time browsing in this beautiful setting.

I had an absolute blast visiting the Museo de Bellas Artes in Seville. The museum boasts an outstanding collection of Murillo’s paintings, along with an impressive selection of sacred art. The building itself is stunning and well worth admiring on its own. I went on a Sunday, when admission was free, which made the experience even better. This is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seville!

The courtyard was stunning. It is a really good place to take some photos. The paintings are great too but, they lack of variety. Nearly, all the paintings are in a religious theme, so it makes the visit somehow boring if you are not really into that. The entry is 1.50€ for non-EU citizens.

I went here this Saturday right at 09:00 and almost had the whole museum to myself which made the experience even better, especially in the high/large rooms on the ground floor. Very impressive! The guards were very happy to share more information when asked eventhough my Spanish is not very good they made the effort to explain things.

The building might not look like much from the outside, but inside — the rooms and ceilings are absolutely stunning. There’s an incredible collection of paintings by Sevillian artists that takes you right back in time. A must-see museum in Seville! ❤️

If you have a fondness for fine art and prefer a less crowded cultural experience in Seville, then the Museum of Fine Arts of Seville is highly recommended. Housed in a serene 17th-century convent, it showcases masterpieces from the Golden Age of Sevillian Painting and features extensive works by Murillo and Valdés, among others. It offers a profound experience.

Really beautiful Museum :) but not a single painting shows the period where Muslims were in Power, although the building itself is designed based on Islamic Architecture, most likely it was a Mosque and then one of the Christian kings continued with Gothic Art like all other places in Andalusia!

Fantastic Sunday adventure at Isla Mágica! We spent a full Sunday exploring both parks at Isla Mágica in Seville, and what an experience it was! Hola! I bought my tickets in advance online so there was no wait going inside the park. It was a very HOT day so I would recommend bringing sunscreen or going on a cooler day. I did not have a chance to go to the water park side but maybe next time. The park rides are okay. It is divided so that there are little kid rides and rides for older kids and adults. This isn’t the place for the person that likes a lot of rides but is a place to go to get out the house and have fun. The food is just okay and expensive so I would pack snacks just in case you get hungry. Also, the gift shop is a little expensive. The things in there are not really worth buying but they do have good gifts for kids. I gave it three stars because of the experience could have been better but I would repeat.

Definitely book online, saves you having to queue twice. There was a long queue to enter but that was not long after it opened, it was less busy later on. Didn't go to the water park part, but did see the queue for that and even once inside the park, the queue to enter was long. There is a good selection of things to do, for different ages too. The queue for some rides was long, there is a screen that tells you the wait time. There are also plenty of places to get food and drinks, as well as places to sit

I dream about going back! It was one of the best experiences ever! Entry was fairly priced and other than the Hot Air Balloon all other rides were free!!! Let me tell you, I'd go every day if I lived there!

Oct 25 2025. A Saturday. Nice park. Very busy. Waited for well over an hour for two rides. Waited about 30 mins for two others. Food ok for a theme park. Nice way to spend a day. Legs hanging from all the queueing. Decent food hall to cool off. Difficult to navigate if you have no spanish. No English signs anywhere.

Overcrowded park. Deckchairs mostly taken and have to pay extra for. If you don't buy vip parking tickets , you need to park very far away. Long 20 mins plus wait times in the sun and heat for rides. 4D cinema film looks like it was created on a Pentium 2 PC. You can't wear sunglasses without straps while in the water, even if you just had an eye operation. The water on some of the rides and pools is dirty. Some kids areas you can't stay with your kids until they get the hang of it. Which is unfair for kids who are scared at the begining and need some courage. Overpriced food and drinks. (No food and drinks allowed from outside) So they can continue to empty your wallet 😂 (We snuck in our own food and suggest you do the same 😄) Our only disappointment in one of the most beautiful cities in the world !

Impressive interior. Very rich decorations. Water spring underneath the church (in crypt). It would most likely be much more remarkable and popular if it wouldn't be located meters away from Seville Cathedral and Giralda. Think it's very underrated while it have a lot to offer simply because it was the main Seville church between regaining the city from Arabs till funds from America started to arrive, so Cathedral could be rebuilt into its today's shape. If you buy tickets for the Cathedral directly from their website, you won't have to pay for entry. If you done / are about to do guided tour of Cathedral and Giralda, then you'll have to pay 7€ to enter (I don't regret it at all).

This church (especially the museum underneath!) was really interesting. Don't skip the crypt/basement. There is a ton of seating in the church to rest your feet and it was peaceful. Remember to cover your shoulders if you are a woman.

We bought tickets to this church and the Cathedral as the offer was better and ensured a faster entry to the Cathedral, but this building is an amazing attraction in it's own right. The wow factor is apparent at every turn. To compare it with the nearby cathedral I would say the latter is on steroids in size terms, however this church offers much more to the connoisseur of the intricate carvings and decor etc. There is a small museum to rear where many ecclesiastical relics are displayed.

I loved the place! So much energy inside. And it went through absolutely great refurbishment. Do visit the crypt as well. No waiting at the door. Purchased tickets on line and visited on Tuesday

Another must see but underrated Church, magnificently detailed and ornate altars. It's nondescript exterior will leave you amazed as soon as you walk through the front doors. In the basement are the Crips and remains of one of the original mosques that was built thousands of years ago but was torn down and replaced with this church

The Cathedral of Seville is an architectural wonder that perfectly captures the layered history of the city. We visited the Cathedral of Virgin Mary, popularly known as the Cathedral de Sevilla as a part of a small group guided tour. The guide Martha was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. The cathedral itself has much signs of Islamic influence when compared to its counterpart in Cordoba. But its a stunning structure nonetheless & covers a huge area. The golden altar, the magnificent choir, the tomb of Christopher Columbus, his son and the famed Bell Tower, Giralda were some of the highlights. I would highly recommend this attraction to visitors to this beautiful city.

Very lovely cathedral with lots to read about ! You do need to be modest to enter, no exposed shoulders or knees. They do give out blue shawls you can buy before entering so you are not denied entry. You can go to the top of the bell tower which is about 40 or more flights up, but it is a ramp not stairs. Very worth it though ! There’s pockets of balconies you can sit along the way up too. It is in the city in a lovely part of of town, so you can visit other places as well.

Greatly enjoyed Seville and booked our tour through Get your Guide(small group, English speaking)our guide was very user friendly, knowledgeable and professional. There were many tours going on, but we never stalled out waiting to get in or waiting to get into a specific room, she knew her stuff and timed our coming and going appropriately. Worth every penny!

This is a very cool building with an interesting history. It was a hospital for ailing monks (I think) and has a gorgeous hidden church inside. The courtyard at its center is really pretty and the building houses a small but gorgeous art collection with my favorite piece being the 1600s view of Seville.

So glad we ended up squeezing this in! Such a beautiful venue and tiles to DIE FOR. They've also got a nifty free VR 350 tour experience which was a fun add on. Also the neighbouring plazas are so lovely, it's a sweet area to amble around in. We booked tickets in advance but could have probably got away with not booking. Took around 30-40min to walk around.

Beautiful quiet space away from hustle and bustle of the city, the audio tour is interesting , paintings both medieval and modern, tile work and the chaple are magnificent, even got to hear the organ , no queue.

Hospital de los Venerables in Seville is a charming and historical site worth visiting. The building is adorned with lovely Baroque architecture that adds a unique character to the place. Its serene courtyards provide a peaceful escape and a chance to appreciate the beauty of the surroundings.

Firstly, we went to visit this hospital due to be be less busy than other tourist attractions at the day we were in Seville. However, this former hospital charity for elderly clergy was definitely a lovely surprise added to our visit to Servile. One of the most remarkable aspects of this hidden gem place was that we didn’t have to wait to get in. On our arrival, we were very nicely greeted by excellent receptionists who were both welcoming and knowledgeable. The hospital architecture itself is stunning, with beautifully amenities, and historical features that transported us back in time. We wondered around transitioning from one room to another. It is so easy to walk around that you forget the sense of time looking the historic corridors and rooms. Another highlight, of course, is the collection of paintings; The museum has provided audio guides that explained each room and its paintings in detail, helping us to understand, and appreciated even more the paints. This former charity hospital turned into an art museum is a delightful discovery. In my opinion it is a must visit when in Seville.

The Hospital de los Venerables, popularly known as the Hospital of the Venerab of Seville, Spain, is a baroque 17th-century building which served as a residence for priests. It currently houses the Velázquez Center, dedicated to the famous painter Diego Velázquez. It is located in the Plaza de los Venerables, in the center of the Barrio de Santa Cruz and close to the Murillo Gardens, the Seville Cathedral and Alcázar.

A Historic Gem in Seville—Delicious Tapas and Wonderful Service! We visited El Rinconcillo, the oldest bar and tapas restaurant in Seville, Spain, and it truly lived up to its reputation. We arrived without a reservation and waited right at opening time — a good tip is to arrive early, as it gets busy and lines form quickly. We started with a refreshing local sangria, which was delicious and perfect for the sunny day (October 9, 2025). Then we ordered a variety of dishes: Boquerones (fried fish), Espinacas con Garbanzos, Huevos con Chorizo, and Carrillada Ibérica en Salsa. OMG—the last one was absolutely amazing! The meat was tender, juicy, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The customer service was excellent, and I want to give special recognition to the Colombian server, who was fantastic — courteous, friendly, and very professional. I highly recommend El Rinconcillo for anyone visiting Seville. The authentic flavors, historic atmosphere, and warm hospitality make it a truly unforgettable experience. ¡Bravo!

It’s definetely a place to go in Seville. Don’t forget to book a spot in advance. We ordered Prawn and Tuna fish (which was daily stew) and both were delicious. And we ordered house wine next to it. It’s ended up with a local desert and it was a bit intensive but worths to give it a try. Special thanks to Marta to helping us a lot with her sincerity and sincerity 😍

This is known as the oldest bar in Seville. Most people would be standing while eating. We made a reservation so we can sit down to enjoy our meal. Not everything was the best, but the place has generally good food. We also weren't able to order the best of what the restaurant had to offer since at this point, we've had a hit too much traditional Spanish food already. The ox tail was very good. Excellent! So yummy and flavorful. Get that! The clams were also pretty good. We got eggplant stuffed with meat but the eggplant wasn't as soft as we hoped it would be. Squid was hard, so I don't recommend that. As for dessert, get something else from what we ordered. I think it's pudding? But the general location of the place and wait staff were good, so I'd still recommend to come here : )

A traditional Andalusian restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The food is excellent and the wine impeccable. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Reservations are recommended, as otherwise you'll have to eat at high tables. We had a good lunch at El Rinconcillo.

El Rinconcillo in Seville is a true gem and one of Spain’s oldest restaurants. The food is simply outstanding: traditional Andalusian dishes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, full of authentic flavors. The jamón ibérico, croquetas, and tapas selection are absolute highlights. Service is friendly, attentive, and professional, adding to the warm and welcoming ambiance. El Rinconcillo perfectly combines history, culture, and excellent cuisine — a must-visit for anyone seeking the true taste of Seville.

Food was top notch, 5/5. Really enjoyed the oxtail and cod in tomato - they weren’t just tasty… food here was so good I’d line up again just to eat. Great depth of flavour, tender where it needs to be, absolute perfection. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for good tapas. That said, be prepared to line up, and be prepared to stand while eating especially if you do not have a reservation. We came around afternoon (3PM) as a group of 4 with no reservation and it took around 15 min to get in, but the interior is a bit chaotic. That said, service was good, order and you will get your food, and staff was friendly! While I normally dislike standing while eating, I’d say the chaos actually added to the ambiance :)

Our first restaurant experience in Seville. Nice atmosphere and food came fast. We are a group of 4 and ordered a bunch of different dishes by Topa which allows us to try different things. Food generally taste good. It’s quite busy even at 9/10pm with a lot young crowd.

Nice tapas bar, went there two times in four days! Friendly personel and good food. Cozy typical Spanish tapas bar with great prices! Go there if you are in the neighbourhood!💪🏼🤘

Avoid this restaurant at all costs - the food is atrocious. The chips are absolutely soaked in oil, the salad is essentially a bowl of lettuce with the tiniest shreds of dry chewy chicken, the pasta was overcooked and mushy whilst the salmon sauce had the smallest chunks of salmon and a gluey consistency - it’s the same sauce used in the salmon crepe - the ratatouille is bland and the toast was soft and mushy - the grilled salmon was incredible dry and the vegetable soggy with oil. Don’t bother or waste your money.

Went here for lunch with my family while visiting in Sevilla! Alex, our waiter, was extremely attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was wonderful and enjoyed sitting outside. Food was outstanding.

I live close to this restaurant, but tonight was my first time dining here. Despite being in the middle of the tourist district, the prices are good and the food is delicious. Alex, my server, did a fantastic job taking care of a very busy terrace. I was very impressed with his ability to take care of so many tables at once, without ever seeming impatient. The church is very clearly a much used local church. It is richly decorated with a particularly beautiful main alter. We popped in here several times when passing as it had an authentic welcoming feel about it.

It's a beautiful yellow-white Baroque Church, free to enter, where's the beautiful altar with amazing gold and silver decorated Virgin Esperanza Macarena

I didn't expect there was an event (i think so?) when I visited and the queue was just mad. It simply showed people's respect and liking of this place. Stunning, eye-catching and breath taking. Definitely a place worthy of a visit even for people that are not religious like me - appreciate the art!!

Terrible venue. Chairs are uncomfortable and you can not see the performers feet unless you are in the front row . The actual dancing was less then half the show, the rest was singing and guitar solo, which was nice but not what I paid 25 euro for.

I would highly recommend experiencing flamenco this way. Wonderful music in a small venue that is more a small theater than a bar, but there was sangria, beer and soft drinks for self-service. Simply a lovely way to see and hear this art form.

It’s great if you like Roman mosaics, artifacts and beautiful tile. The contessa was a collector and she bought the 16th century palace in 1901 and spent the next 13 years adding mosaic floors from Italica, tiles from a 16th century convent and collections of all sorts. It is an amazing place, still in the family but primarily a museum.

The shared massage room setup (separated only by curtains) also made it less private and relaxing than I had hoped. I especially loved the 1-2-3 pool circuit, the salt room, and the steam room. Water and mint tea are complimentary throughout, and my massage was good, done in a shared, darkened studio, which still felt private. That said, a few things could be improved. Arriving only 15 minutes before the appointment isn’t enough; check-in was chaotic and took me about 20 minutes to get into the changing rooms, cutting into my experience. It would be helpful to know rooftop use conditions before booking so guests can make informed treatment choices. Some jacuzzi features need repair, and my bathrobe was taken (probably by mistake), not ideal having to use an unknown one. Overall, despite some hiccups, it’s a memorable and worthwhile indulgence in Seville.

I am always on the look out for a spa which includes a Haman type experience and this is the place! The vibe is perfect, hidden away on one of the back streets of the historical district. The experience started with a roof top 'dip' in the rooftop pool overlooking the cathedral and sunset. It really is a scene - and highly likely to be one of the best 'secret' spots for the sunset. (Our booking was at 9pm, if that helps!) We then moved through the baths before my treatment (Holistic Ritual). I was scrubbed on a traditional marble bed (heated, of course!) before my very relaxing massage. which I actually feel transported me to another time and place. You are not able to take phones into the experience and they request silence, which means you really have to be in the moment, which is even more tranquil. After a day of beauty mooching around Seville this really is a little bit of heaven.

Few years ago, we had a beautiful experience with my husband, in a beautiful place. This year, we decided to come back and renew the experience. We payed 330€ for 2, love connection 90’. We were expecting a peaceful moment but we were deeply disappointed. It is an industrial way of selling rest. We were about to spend 3 hours but maybe 30min after entering the baths, we were called for our massage. The room were they do it, is aligning 6-7 tables, separated by curtains, men giving massages to women (I directly asked for a women), and not really good quality massages… my husband had a guy who may be was doing another job before (waiter, accounting,…?) but certainly not a spa professional 😅, the room is noisy and people ending their massages are going through where you’re still having yours… a bit cold also… To sum up, it’s a beautiful place but not for a peaceful moment. It was the worst « hammam » experience we’ve ever had!!! We’ll never come back, too expensive for what it became.

Overall a good experience. If I would have to give a rate it's a 8/10. Let me explain myself. The place look stunning, it is very calm inside, and you feel confortable and relaxed. But, many little points could be improved : - they dont tell you, or not explicitly, that the experience is ONLY 2 hours. The person at the entrance told us it was AT LEAST 2 hours. So yeah, when they told us it was over we were like what ?? - second, the staff doesn't always tell you what to do, when, and where you must go. No one told my girlfriend where to go after changing herself, while I was told to go downstairs so she waited 5 minutes ( that we lost on the total ) for nothing. No one told us what to do after the rooftop, or when the massage would be. - we took the full experience with a hot stone massage, and the rooftop. Do I recommand it ? Probably not. The massage was overall great, but some parts felt "rushy" and "untrained" The rooftop was amazing, but they dont tell you that the time you spend here is in the 2 hours total you have AND that the 45 minutes massage is also in this 2 hours in total, so we couldn't try every baths nor steam room... Because we didn't had the time. So, will I go again ? Yes, I will. Will I take the massage ? No, not this time and not for the Price. If you want a good experience as a tourist, take only the baths, the rooftop is worth the view but not the money you need to spend for it. If you want a similar view go to the cathedral or the setas, it's way more worth it for the money.

This place was recommended by someone at my hotel, because the setting is very intimate, and focus is purely on Flamenco. Fantastic show. Had no idea what to expect. We arrived at 6:50 for the 7pm show and were sat on the second row but the view was fine. Before I went I was concerned I would get bored at an hour long show but before I knew it they were finishing, it went by so quickly as was captivated by the dancers and musicians. The intro at the beginning was also very helpful as I learned about the history of flamenco and how performances are put together. I was grateful for the no phone rule but it was appreciated they let you take a short video at the end.

We sat in the second row at La Casa del Flamenco for a 10pm performance. The show was lively, passionate and energetic and the dancers top tier. There were two male singers with different types of voices and the guitarist was fabulous - really good at geeing them up, with everyone bouncing off each other. If you are not deaf you learn every Spanish word Duolingo doesn't want you to know. The Seville fans were kind for us tourist and helped us find our seats. Amazing little bar serving tapas. No tables inside but some outside seating across the street. Bar is decorated with religious pictures etc and they even burn incense over the bar to increase the ambience. A must see when in Seville.

We got lost and somehow managed to find this bar. It’s small, the bartenders were very kind and we enjoyed the religious decorations inside. Great beer and if you’re looking to mangle with the locals, this is the right place!

The restaurant has only 4 tables to sit at. We had to stand and eat. The bread served was dry and tasted days old. When we asked for the check they only told us the price by writing it on a piece of paper (no proper reciept). The food itself was average at best. It's standard tapas menu you can get anywhere else, but poorly executed.

We got here as it opened as we couldn't get in the night before. Some of the best tapas we have experienced so far. There are tables outside, but the tiny inside is worth eating in if you can get somewhere to stand.

The service is very sevillian, you need to look alert to be served, hold your menu slightly off the bar and there is an English and Spanish version. Luckily the Spanish version is same price as English as I have been to other places where it is not when translated! I chose the plate of tuna, the prawn and garlic sandwich, the machengo cheese and spicy chorizo tapas. All very delicious. The bar was heaving on a Saturday. It was one in one out so try to make friends to stand at a table to enjoy your tapas. I would highly recommend for the atmosphere as there's a church next door where people get married so my bar experience was filled with the priest who was 3 pints deep and all the wedding party plus Spaniards not an English person in sight except me!

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this museum. Not only is the building wonderful, the Cultures of the Sea exhibit was so interesting, and the collections and displays downstairs are amazing. A highlight is the workshop displays, assembled with great care and detail. A museum not to be missed by anyone interested in handcrafted goods, the people who create them, and their history.

We just wanted to see the neo-mudejar building from the inside and briefly checked out the museum as well. They house a vast collection of all kinds of crafts and arts of Andalusia. But it's located in a stinky cellar of the building with no sunlight. We walked through the floor very quickly and left ASAP. The entry is free for EU citizens.

A very nice museum. European citizens have free entry, otherwise the entry is a few euros. The exhibition is interesting and the building itself is very nice. I wouldn’t say is a must, but if you have time, pay a visit.

Beautiful building left from the 1929 exposition in the mudejar style, surrounded by a pretty park. At the basement the permanent exposition on Sevilla historic crafts and lifestyle. Well organized. At the first floor two temporary expeditions - one on the Sea and local people one on African music - both small and exquisite. Absolutely worth a short visit away from the crowds. And it's 1.50 euros or free entry (for EU).

Small museum in a beautiful building.This place is a jewel worth of your visit. I left the museum with a smile, and learnt a lot with their lovely displays. Not everything has English translations, which is a pity. I translated what I could to my husband. Still worth a visit !

Great little site that have some initial funding to install, but has been left neglected since. Will take 30 mins to walk around max, but it's interesting and they would love your visit

Really fascinating to see this under Setas! Incredible! Free if you have a Real Alcazar ticket or €2.10 entry which they should just accept. There’s no where to add an additional donation. Won’t take you long - max 30 minutes.

It's right next to the entrance of Setas de Sevilla, you can actually see the ruins from outside. It's free if you have ticket for Real Alcázar, tho they didn't mention it on the booking site(Real Alcázar). No toilet available at the time (July 2025l)

An archeological site housed under the modernist looking Setas of Sevilla. It's a very small site of roman ruins and was found while building a parking lot. Ticket price is included in the Alcazar ticket. The juxtaposition of Setas of Sevilla over this roman ruin is totally unexpected IMHO.

Small museum detailing Seville's rich history with well preserved artifacts including mosiacs from the 2nd and 3rd century. Takes around 10 to 20mins to view everything. Entry is included with Royal Alcazar otherwise it is just €2.10. Shame the info boards are not working.

It's an archeological site that they found while digging for a parking lot. You can access the Antiquarium from the stairs under the Setas of Sevilla. It's a small site where you can see ancient vestiges of the roman empire. You also see Islamic houses with names. Lots of interesting tiles, suspended walls, jewellery, etc. They provide you with a free audio book too if you scan a QR code. If you buy general tickets for the Real Alcazar Seville, the tickets to this place are free.

Situated underneath the Setas de Seville (Giant Mushrooms), go past the ticket office for the mushrooms which are down the stairs, underneath the structure, to the back of that area to find the entrance to the Roman ruins. Found while excavating the area, they are fascinating examples of Roman housing, statues, and mosaic floors. It's not a big area but only cost a couple of euros to get in. It was worth a visit if you were already in the area. If you are really interested in Roman ruins, there is a half day trip you can arrange to Italica, and excavated town about 20 mins from Seville where Emperor Hadrian was born.

The market is well used by locals and tourists. Not a great deal of choice of eating at breakfast, but by lunch, many of the places were open at 1pm. Our tapas was fantastic and great value for money.

A relatively small and pleasant market with what looked like a good fresh fish/seafood market area as well as fruit, meat and vegetable stalls, also a few bars and shops. It seemed to have a few local people buying produce as well. It did look like a few places were closed at the time we went though (weekday, late morning), not sure of this was due to time, day of the week or other. We enjoyed a drink at one of the bars.

The market is very understated you could and we almost did walk past it but we're taken in by the fruit and veg stand. It was well used by a mixture of locals and tourists and had such an array from meats and cheeses to cakes and fruit and vegetables. With some small bars to eat at there. We stopped for some fruit and cakes. The Lila Lemons cakes were delicious we were only sad that they had sold out of the lemon meringue by the time we went back. Worth a visit for a traditional market away from the crowds.

Great fresh food market and food court in well restored buildings. Highly recommended. Helpful staff guided us to buy the very reasonable drink & tapas ticket. Eat outside near ancient walls and enjoy sunshine or shade. Lovely atmosphere too.

Super fun time at the Tablao Flamenco El Arenal! - Accommodation was great as we made a reservation but had to make a change the day of that the store accommodated. - We had the full on dinner that was surprisingly tasty given that it was paired with the show. - Show was engaging and the musician + dancer was awesome.

Excellent food and excellent performances. Guests with dinner gets priority seating followed by those ordered tapas. We had the 3 course meal and we were highly satisfied with each portion. We were full and enjoyed the entire experience

We had the most incredible experience at this flamenco show in Seville. The dancers were absolutely phenomenal — exuding raw emotion, passion, and the intensity that defines traditional flamenco. It was mesmerizing to watch and truly a cultural spectacle that we’ll never forget. The entire performance felt deeply authentic and beautifully executed. The only small downside was the seating — the chairs were quite uncomfortable, almost like sitting on rocks. But aside from that, the experience was amazing and 100% worth the money. We absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Seville!

Percussively explosive show. I'm not a Flamenco expert but this seemed like the real deal. Cool space and good dinner beforehand if you get that option. Not the standard tapas but included multiple fish And meat dishes. Suggest arrive at least 1/2 hr early if getting the dinner.

The best flamenco show in spain, it will have you so engrossed in the story. The flamenco dancers are fantastic. The food was amazing. The waiters are attentive and the service impeccable. Excellent! You cannot take pictures of the show hence why there is none on the review.

Exceptional. Went with family and had an amazing experience. Excellent dinner with appetizers, starters, mains and dessert! Come hungry. Wine included too... Then the show which was fantastic! So much passion and energy it brought tears to our eyes. You should not miss this experience! 💃🏽🕺🏽 So happy they don’t allow pictures and filming. You have to see it for real. Thanks to the artists.

It’s a bit tight, and packed. The host was very rude which deserves -10 stars, but the artists and the performance was good. A bit messy in the beginning, but good. Could use better costumes but overall we were satisfied

Its an amazing show, amazing scene, worth to visit the oldest tablao in Seville. David Perez was truly amazing. In weekdays, you don’t necessarily to take tickets in advance.

Authentic display of Andalusian culture….one problem is they don’t explain anything. I don’t think it is meant for tourists. We just watched a beautiful authentic Flamenco and it was great!

We just attended the show and it was a great experience overall, the venue is small and cost. You can see that there are two generations of performers ( older and younger) within the guitar players , the singers and the dancers , all of which are great performers with lots of energy,. The show lasted for 1:15 hours and was captivating.. they allow photos at the last part of the show. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic flamingo show in Seville.

This was such a lovely intimate show and dancers were skillful and engaging Taking photos and videos are not allowed till the final dance so we really got to enjoy the experience

A small but serious theater. Quality of performance was so good, I reserved the following night’s tickets immediately after the show. I appreciate that they don’t use mics and speakers. Highly recommend.

A small but interesting Spanish naval history museum. Many of the displays had an English translation with I found helpful considering that their wifi was next to impossible to use for the audio tour. I find this true of many of the tourist museums that use WiFi to provide an audioguide. Either they cannot handle the amount of users or they have not kept up with and invested in better technology to improve their customer experience. Nice views up and down the river from the rooftop observation deck.

The staff is so kind. The museum totally worths a visit because it depicts historically important ships and journeys, and you can donate as much as you want (the payments are done by card). The view from the top is okay, but crowdy.

Mainly visited to get a panoramic 360 view over the river. There's an audio tour included, but out of sink as it dosnt have markers, where to stand, for each chapter, there are 7 chapters.

Definitely worth a quick visit. 30 mins would be enough. Nice views of the river both ways from the top. The museum has a nice timeine for seville with English and Spanish explanations. One thing I thought was interesting was the different attitude of spain to its colonial past in comparison to the UK. The UK is much more apologetic for it. Here itappeared to me to be far far less so, if at all. I'm not trying to judge, it's just an observation. Good but small museum, nice little gift shop, nice views, just 3 euros to go in

MlIt is a museum representing a 13th-century defensive tower. It is showcasing old maps, & nautical instruments. If you are not planning to go inside the. It is just 10 stopover. The walk next to river is good.

I loved their store and the variety one could find there. However, their ceramic products are not properly made, which I find unacceptable especially for its high price. My mugs, which were only used a couple of times and washed entirely by hand and not the dishwasher, has chipped with cracks appearing in the glazed insides within 2 months of use. When I contacted them to inform them of this, they told me that it is normal (our food health and safety website has mentioned that we should not use chipped and cracked mugs as the glaze may contain harmful chemicals which may seep into our drinks). The store also mentioned that my mugs were chipped due to transport, despite the fact that I hand carried them in the cabin (they were wrapped with bubble wrap from the store) and they were perfectly alright when they first arrived. Would highly not recommend the store especially if you are looking for quality products that will last.

There is great section of lovely products but alas their customer service does not match their products. After my daughter and I had purchased various items I asked if I could have a second piece of bubble wrap to protect a ceramic dancer as we were travelling back to Australia but was told in a rude and abrupt manner that it came in a box, which one did but the second one did not. I have to ask the question how much does a small piece of bubble wrap cost compared to good customer service. Apparently too much.....

There's a big selection of everything you will want in all different shapes and colours. I have found some being authentic, but most items are mass production. I have found it more expensive than other stores.

A great selection of local ceramics made on the premises. A must have souvenir to bring home.

Probably the best shop in town to get souvenirs after walking around and checking every other store we made our way back here.

Walk around Triana and enjoy the cool atmosphere. There are some nice ceramic shops to pop into.
