A Historic Gem in Seville—Delicious Tapas and Wonderful Service! We visited El Rinconcillo, the oldest bar and tapas restaurant in Seville, Spain, and it truly lived up to its reputation. We arrived without a reservation and waited right at opening time — a good tip is to arrive early, as it gets busy and lines form quickly. We started with a refreshing local sangria, which was delicious and perfect for the sunny day (October 9, 2025). Then we ordered a variety of dishes: Boquerones (fried fish), Espinacas con Garbanzos, Huevos con Chorizo, and Carrillada Ibérica en Salsa. OMG—the last one was absolutely amazing! The meat was tender, juicy, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The customer service was excellent, and I want to give special recognition to the Colombian server, who was fantastic — courteous, friendly, and very professional. I highly recommend El Rinconcillo for anyone visiting Seville. The authentic flavors, historic atmosphere, and warm hospitality make it a truly unforgettable experience. ¡Bravo!

This is known as the oldest bar in Seville. Most people would be standing while eating. We made a reservation so we can sit down to enjoy our meal. Not everything was the best, but the place has generally good food. We also weren't able to order the best of what the restaurant had to offer since at this point, we've had a hit too much traditional Spanish food already. The ox tail was very good. Excellent! So yummy and flavorful. Get that! The clams were also pretty good. We got eggplant stuffed with meat but the eggplant wasn't as soft as we hoped it would be. Squid was hard, so I don't recommend that. As for dessert, get something else from what we ordered. I think it's pudding? But the general location of the place and wait staff were good, so I'd still recommend to come here : )

A traditional Andalusian restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The food is excellent and the wine impeccable. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Reservations are recommended, as otherwise you'll have to eat at high tables. We had a good lunch at El Rinconcillo.

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. The clam and white prawns were so good. The wine was also amazing, creamy and vanilla notes - from a white wine, I was taken aback. The food was super fresh and service was very good. The restaurant upstairs was very different in atmosphere from the tapas downstairs. There was a big queue and we were lucky to book the day after. I can see why this establishment is popular. There were no regrets in visiting this restaurant, honestly I want to say it was world class.

Food was top notch, 5/5. Really enjoyed the oxtail and cod in tomato - they weren’t just tasty… food here was so good I’d line up again just to eat. Great depth of flavour, tender where it needs to be, absolute perfection. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for good tapas. That said, be prepared to line up, and be prepared to stand while eating especially if you do not have a reservation. We came around afternoon (3PM) as a group of 4 with no reservation and it took around 15 min to get in, but the interior is a bit chaotic. That said, service was good, order and you will get your food, and staff was friendly! While I normally dislike standing while eating, I’d say the chaos actually added to the ambiance :)

One of the most historic restaurants in Seville and they have been in business since 1670! We got a reservation months in advance to get a table. I think you can still walk in but there was a line around the block so be prepared to wait if you don’t have a reservation. We got couple dishes but our highlight was their signature salad, the octopus, and the pork shoulders. But everything we had there was top notch and I would recommend you make a reservation if you’re planning to visit Seville!

Great spot with a chill vibe and a view to match. The drinks were honestly really good. especially the cocktails but definitely on the pricey side. Worth it if you’re in the mood to treat yourself, just don’t expect happy hour prices or cheap pours here.

Review for Drinks only. Great place to sit and enjoy a cocktail, twice the price of anybody else, but frankly worth it as you get a wonderful view over the Cathedral and it feels very special. I'd rather pay over the top for a matching experience than half the price in a poor bar, service was very good on the first visit, but it was a lot busier on our second visit so they struggled a bit to get to you, but they managed! Highly recommended if you want a top experience

Unbeatable views of Seville’s Cathedral and the city’s rooftops. I'm typically a bit hesitant when traveling to rely on a hotel bar for ambiance, but La Terraza del EME nailed it. The hotel has designed the space beautifully, with multiple levels that make every seat feel special. Sunset is the magic hour. I expected the rooftop to be packed (early October), but the host immediately led us to what turned out to be one of the best tables — perfect for cocktails and cathedral views as the sky shifted colors. Cocktails are pricier than most places nearby, but consider it the price of admission for the panorama. Definitely add it to your list — it’s one of those “only in Seville” experiences.

An absolute gem. Hard to beat views of the magnificent cathedral coupled with a beautiful atmosphere. Cocktail prices are by far above average; but with the beautiful views and controlled admission to the bar (they only were letting so many folks at a time into the bar, which prevented overcrowding) it’s all good. I will say the dry martini was excellent as well. Definitely recommended for a lovely evening.

One of the rooftop bars we would probably pass. The staff were nice but not super attentive. Ordered drinks and came back a few minutes later to let us know they didn't have one of them available anymore. Ordered a different drink to have the same thing happen again as that was also out. Menu itself wasn't huge either so not like there were many options left after that. The view of the cathedral was great but you can get similar in other rooftop bars with better drinks considering the upcharge you pay for them. The decoration of the place was really nice though definitely great for photos.

I’d totally recommend La Terrazza del EME for a quick aperitivo at sunset - it’s buzzing, the view is great and the cocktails are good. The view on La Giralda is absolutely stunning and it does not get any closer than this. The service is fast and dynamic. Prices are consequential to the unique offer. DJs animate the night so expect loud music.

Great view of the cathedral for sure. But everything else is below average. You are asked to climb 4 floors up cos lift is for guests?! Then you are served G&T in a water glass, no coaster, no tissues, no water but some stale peanuts that’ gone off. Come here for view not for the drink.

A fantastic, authentic experience! Highly recommend this little place and it's worth waiting for a seat, even if it's at the bar. A lively, bustling atmosphere. The waiting team were extremely attentive and efficient despite how busy it was and the food was simply delicious. We tried a few different wines and a while load of the tapas. Each plate was as delicious as the next. We must have tried at least 10 and they were all excellent. The artichoke, pork cheek and aubergines were a highlight but I honestly don't think you could go wrong. This place is definitely worth a visit!

Amazing spanish culinary experience, if you are looking for the real deal, this is it!! Really busy but worth the wait!! Bursting with flavour and charisma! And the service is outstanding, we had Maria, our super efficient and lovely waitress working effortlessly in a highly stressful environment with a huge smile on her face. Made us feel like at home.

If you want a fantastic tapas meal accompanied with buzzing atmosphere then this is the place to go. Be prepared to wait in a queue if you don’t get there a bit before opening time but it’s worth the wait. The tapas has incredible flavour and using quality ingredients. The service is exactly what I would expect in a busy tapas bar. I did not feel at all neglected.

The atmosphere was great, so I decided to draw it. The people who appear are purely from my imagination. I heard it was a tapas bar where the locals gather, so I went right at opening time. I was the first to arrive, and soon after, people started pouring in and it was packed in no time. There were even families, and it was so crowded that only the children were seated. The pricing was clear, reasonable, and everything was delicious! Thank you to the staff who spoke to me in English 😊 The food was amazing. The spinach and chickpea dish and the soup were especially delicious 😍

Arrived at 9:30pm on a friday, was seated at 10:10pm. The kitchen closes at 11:30pm. Most of the food was good. They had run out of some ingredients and we couldn't order some dishes like calamari. It is extremely loud inside! I couldn't hear my partner. It can get very crowded. The service was excellent. Tuna dish: 3/5 Lamb cheeks: 5/5 !!!!!! Get that one!! Pringa (pork sandwich): 4/5 Fried seabass: 4/5 Garbanzo beans with spinach: 2.5/5 Drinks: Tinto de verano: 5/5 Overall not my favorite restaurant in Spain but it was a fun overall experience. Bill was around 60€ total

As a tourist in Seville, discovering The Second Room was a delightful surprise. Nestled near the cathedral, this intimate cocktail bar offers an inviting atmosphere with friendly staff. I googled a late bar and walked 15 minutes to the Second Room in 24° . I was delighted with what I saw and it looked really nice and trendy. Much younger set than me!! But that is ok. I liked what I saw but unfortunately the waiter said they were full and I could not even get in for a drink!! I was not going to give in so easily so I waited patiently across the road for 8 minutes in hope!! Fair play to the excellent waiter, he came across and said a lot of people were finished and I could go in to the counter and have a cocktail or two. I love when a business puts customer service top of their list even when they are facilitating a young older person like me!! I give them 100%.

Lovely cocktails, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Real little gem if you fancy some cocktails and not more tapas! They have a good varied menu and a happy hour 9pm - 10pm. We loved it.

I can't recommend this place more than anywhere else we visited while in Seville during our visit. Great atmosphere and the Spanish gentleman who served us pretty much every single night while we were in town making us feel so welcoming. I'm terribly sorry for not remembering his name. I hope he enjoyed his time in Feria festival on his day off with his friends. 😁 There are a few tables in the outdoor seating area where we spent a few late nights out there. Cocktails are exceptional and feel well priced. We had some great chats with other tourists. We had so many cocktails here and they do open fairly late throughout the night. We were never rushed to finish our drinks or asked to leave when the outdoor areas were required to close. You must visit this place for a drink or two when you visit in Seville.

What vibe! The drinks were on point👌🏽Very tasty, making them dangerous 😂 So watch out 🥂 Music was grooving but not too loud, allowing everyone to actually hear each other. 🎶 Floors were clean, bar was spotless, and tables were maintained between each group that sat at them. Service was quick. Even for those sitting at tables. Drinks were served left and right. Javier and Christian were a fun pair to hang out with. They were nonstop making drinks the whole time I was there at the bar, but still making great conversation. Even with my broken Spanish! Seemed like they had a decent amount of returning customers. I know I would, if I was in town longer 💯

Boothroyd was the last man standing so we visited this cocktail bar across the street from our apartment. Had a Moscow Mule, good but prefer my Rovinj cocktail bar. Not firey enough; maybe needs a little more sweetness? Great central location. Worth giving it a go.

It's a good place for cheap drinks and flamenco shows. It gets packed during the show obviously. Spare enough time before a show to ensure you get a good spot. The performance feels more raw than institutionalized flamenco shows you see at the theatre. I recommend you try both while in Andalusia!

Free flamenco show with decent priced drinks. The show was incredible! I loved that they don’t let any one video tape, it kept the view phone free and everyone in the moment. PLEASE respect that wish if you go. Shows start at 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30 I believe. I would recommend going right at 9pm because the first crowd leaves and the second group trickles in slower.

I want to start off by saying just how incredible the show was. The dancer was incredible, singer & musician also, I would go back just to see them perform. My problem was with the audience. If you come here please be respectful of them. She asked for silence and no photos/videos, so basically any video you see on here was taken without permission. To be specific, she asked people 4-5 times for silence, she pointed people out who were taking videos and pictures as well asking them not to. If you're an adult who can't put their phone down to watch a 30 min performance, seriously don't go. Otherwise, it's a nice place for a few tapas & drinks, we also tipped the performers as they were great. We got the little sandwiches (can't remember the name) with chorizo & ham & the tomato plate - all delicious. & it's cash only!

Great place with free flamenco. Shows at 8:30pm, 9:30pm and 10:30pm. The prices for the drinks are also very cheap. The place is really full with people, so I recommend to come 30 minutes early before the show starts.

amazing place! if you came here without cash, you didn’t do your research. this place is FULLY CASH ONLY! [seats] we came on a Monday around 715pm and the better seats in the house are almost all taken up. if you want good seats, come here at 7pm, get your drinks and tapas, and wait for the 830pm show. [food] we got the spicy chorizo sandwich, dressed tomatoes and potato omelette. the sandwich and tomatoes were quite salty, and the omelette was ok. also got a lemonade but won’t recommend it as it didn’t taste fresh like it was advertised. total was 15€, kinda expensive for the quality but love the rustic vibes of the place though, so that’s worth it. [flamenco] strictly no photos and videos on the performances, and they collect tips at the end. it was such a beautiful performance, so much authenticity and soul in the music and dance, the expression on the dancer was beautiful! you have to come watch it. we saw some people coming really late and close to 830pm to catch a quick glimpse of the show and head out. so it’s up to you if you wanna stay for the authentic informal vibes or simply catch a free show. overall we enjoyed our first flamenco experience here! 10/10 would recommend.

unfortunately, it was very crowded when i came for the flamenco show, so I recommend arriving early. the gentleman at the bar said there were three shows a day, at 20.00, 21.00 and 22.00, and he was very kind. finally, i think it was the best sangria i've ever had (3,5 euro)

This bar was recommended to us by the reception at our accommodation, and it turned out to be a great suggestion. They host a live flamenco show, which you can watch for free. However, it’s good to know that the performers usually collect cash donations afterwards, so it’s a nice idea to have some cash on hand if you’d like to contribute. There’s a rule that every guest has to order a drink, but it doesn’t have to be alcoholic. We didn’t drink alcohol and chose lemonade instead, which was very refreshing and reasonably priced at only €3. The atmosphere was cozy and authentic, and the flamenco show made the evening really special. Overall, it’s a great spot if you want to enjoy some local culture and an unforgettable experience. I recommend you to go early cuz its usually so crowded.

At first glance, Bar Casa Morales can feel a bit chaotic – it's one of those places where you seat yourself as soon as a table becomes free. But that initial hustle is part of its charm. Once you're settled, the atmosphere is buzzing and authentic. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu and offering suggestions that didn’t disappoint. All the food was wonderful, but the standout dish was definitely the meatballs – rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. A must-try if you're visiting. We left full and happy. Highly recommend for a traditional and lively tapas experience.

Before the bar was opened, there was already a queue lining up. We waited for quite some time before we get to be seated. The restaurant was divided into 2 parts. Front part, which we were seated, and back part, where i found out later on, when i was using the toilet. The toilet located between those 2 parts. The interior was charming and shown that the restaurant was an old establishment which survive for a long time. For lunch we had; Pringas was falvorful & tasty Vermut was sweet and strong Pulpo was tender & well seasoned Patatas bravas was deep fried thinly slices potatoes served with their special sauce. The food and drink were so good. They really earned the 5 star rating.

Drinks, food and atmosphere are great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Services are great, fast paced. There are two sitting rooms. Both are busy. You need to find your own table and take it, and server will come to the table to take your order. I saw an elder couples waiting for a bit. The server brought a reserved sign to a table when he brings the check to that table and seated the couple after, which is so heartwarming 👍

One of the best restaurants I ate at during my vacation. We arrived at 7:30 pm and were one of the first customers. There is a deceptively difficult to find dining area entrance around the corner separate from the storefront bar. Service was quick and friendly. Staff spoke English and Spanish. The decor had character- there are these large floor to ceiling pots lining the room which have the (Spanish) menus written on them, and I believe they used to store alcohol. Most importantly, the tapas were delicious.

Authentic Southern Spain tapas with a great atmosphere. Priced well and quality food. Waiters are bustling but you will have to flag them down. Lunch kitchen closes at 3:30 and doors close 4pm on the dot.

If you want to avoid tourists this is the place to go. Majority of the patrons were local so you can definitely tell that this place is good. The food is absolutely delicious. Rabo de Toro is the most delicious I've ever had.

We didn't want to eat traditional Spanish food anymore, so we made a reservation here. I was really excited about the lamb, but it was so so. The steak and wok fried noodles were good, though. And the Chocolat elava cake for dessert was exceptional! Overall it was a good restaurant. What surpsied us was the bill, it's quite affordable! We ordered a lot and expected a higher bill, but it's less than 70 Euros!!

A fancier and seemingly touristy "tapas" restaurant. (3.5/5) My friend and I decided to come here on a weekday evening for dinner. Despite what everyone says about needing a reservation, we got there at around 20:00 and the restaurant had plenty of seating. We ordered two duck confit, the octopus tapas, croquettes, and two radlers for a grand total of ~60 euros for two people. This will be much more expensive than other tapas restaurants that you visit. I was starving, so I was a bit more biased towards the food. The duck confit was beautifully presented and I ate it all up. I will say that it was overwhelmingly sweeter than other duck confit that I've had. Not sure if they added extra sugar to the carrot puree or the gravy, but just a warning there. The croquettes were solid and the pacific octopus tapas was fantastic. Service was decent, all staff spoke English. The atmosphere was definitely on the fancier side, but I didn't see any locals whatsoever lol. It was all foreigners (myself included), and surprisingly a lot of Korean people. Overall, a decent experience if you're looking for a fancier dinner and are getting tired of classic Spanish tapas, but I wouldn't say this place is representative of Spanish cuisine.

We had a fantastic experience at La Brunilda Tapas Bar. Every dish we tried was genuinely excellent. The patatas bravas were perfectly crisp with a smoky, balanced heat; the chicken served over guacamole was fresh, flavorful and surprisingly light; the sirloin was beautifully tender; and the risotto was rich, creamy and absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere lively without being overwhelming. It’s clear why this place is so popular — the quality is consistently high, and the dishes are thoughtful and well executed. Definitely one of the best meals we had in Seville. Highly recommended!

We went here twice and despite doing several expensive tasting menus, I believe this was the best spot in Seville that we visited. My second time here I was in and out in 25 minutes, after ordering 3 courses with about 60% capacity. The food comes quick and it looks and tastes stunning. Our favorites were the cod fritters with pear aioli, tuna tartar and the duck confit. The duck was a bit dry but it still tasted great. The bill last night came to 25 which is such a great deal for the speed, presentation, service and flavor. A reservation is needed usually 2+ days in advance but if you don’t have one it’s worth looking in the window for a bar seat

My absolute favorite in Sevilla. Marvelous food (the guys in the kitchen are Gods!! 👨‍🍳), and an awesome service team. Yes, OK, it‘s become quite touristy by now, but still, I much enjoyed sitting at the counter with a good book, watch the service team work as if they were one, one body with 10 arms, 10 legs and 5 smiling faces. 🧚‍♀️🐙🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️ Loved being there, and will return as soon as I can 🥰

I went back and forth on this restaurant. I made and canceled the reservation twice before fully committing. I’m glad I did. The food was some of the best that we’ve had in Spain. It’s a small space, but I liked the layout. I highly recommend reservations! Everything we ate was delicious. The service was just okay, sort of typical that I’ve received in Spain. I asked if something was on the menu and the servers wouldn’t answer my question and responded to look at the menu. Otherwise, the food was great and I would go back in a heartbeat!

Excellent little restaurant tucked in the corner street. This place saved Seville as maybe due to our luck and inexperience, other earlier places were disappointing. Great food, great atmosphere and great service. Had the grilled octopus, duck leg, seared tuna and potato braves. Opens at 8:30pm and you have to get there early and queue up if no reservation as this place fills up very quickly for the first sitting.

Hit or Miss Experience We visited this bar twice last week, and honestly, it felt like two completely different places. On our first visit (June 12), the experience was absolutely amazing. The waiter who served us was one of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered, and I ordered a lot of tapas and sangria. Everything was incredibly delicious. In fact, we loved it so much that we came back later that same day — and once again, the food and service were just as outstanding. But the next day, we returned and unfortunately, the experience was a complete letdown. The new waiter (also a guy) wasn’t nearly as friendly, and the food was honestly disappointing. I ordered a lasagna that came out cold and just wasn’t good. My friend ordered the same meat dish we’d had the day before — which had been excellent — but this time it was also cold and not well-prepared. We later found out the chef was different: a woman the first day, a man the second. Regardless, a place like this should maintain consistent quality, no matter who’s in the kitchen. That’s the reason I’m not giving 5 stars for this bar. But if I had to rate it based only on our first day, it would have been an easy 5-star experience. Still, I’d consider coming back if I ever return to Seville, just to take my chances again and based on how great our first experience was. The prices were also quite fair, and it was the cheapest sangria we found in the city.

The food was absolutely delicious, a great spot to try local flavors. It’s a bit small and usually hard to find a seat, but definitely worth the wait. I sat at the bar and, following the bartender’s recommendation, ordered the salmon marinado. It was amazing! I also tried a few different wines, and the bartender was very friendly, offering great suggestions and even a few treats. I wanted to go back on my last day of vacation, but there were no available seats and I didn’t have time to wait, so I had to try somewhere else. Highly recommended!

If you like getting yelled at, this is the place for you. We were intrigued by the lineup and the cozy local vibe, but once inside, you’re met with a guy behind the bar who shouts at everyone to sit or order. The paella was finished, yet instead of just crossing it off the chalkboard, he spent the whole time yelling at anyone who asked. He really overpowers the place and makes it feel unwelcoming. The food is good and honestly worth it — but this dude has definitely been working there a little too long and kinda ruins the experience.

This is a renowned Churros Vermuteria tapas bar close to Las Setas de Sevilla and a must visit place if you like sweet wines. With over 120 years in operation you are suddenly transformed into a local. It is a casual place, gets really busy sometimes but service is efficient and kind. It is completely worth it and prices for the Vermouths and Sherries are very low, so watch out or you will go out of there a little tipsy. I completely recommend the place and only reason I do not give it 5 stars is due to the fact the place is just too casual. But I will go back in my next visit for sure.

Recommended by locals for the best Churros and chocolate this place is small and intimate and there may be a queue but its well worth the wait. The churros and chocolate made fresh and as authentic as it gets. Come early and expect the wait which you will realize is necessary and the norm for a legendary breakfast place in Sevilla.

Visited for some lunchtime tapas. Very busy so had to wait around 15 minutes, which wasn't an issue as we stood at the bar for a drink. Tapas was very nice and a a treat for my father in law we ordered the churros. They were a little crispy and very greasy, but going by the amount of people ordering them, I'd say they are a popular order here. Vermouth was amazing. Nice authentic place to visit.

The churros were really delicious and the taste reminded me of Pişi (Turkish fried bread). They serve the latte in a tall water glass, which was interesting 😁 It was the best latte I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend…

Lively and a little chaotic at times, but only because it’s clearly a favourite spot for both locals and visitors. We sat at the bar and got the full experience of the breakfast rush. The coffee, churros with chocolate, and the ham-and-tomato sandwich were all excellent. The building is beautiful and the interior feels truly authentic.

This is a must visit when you are visiting Sevilla, the highlight of my trip! The churros is very light crunchy and fluffy, the chocolate sauce is not overly sweet, plus there’s freshly squeezed orange juice and some sandwich, we went twice for breakfast during our stay, witnessed how the original Spanish churros are made, waiter is super kind, had a great experience overall!

Despite the place being really busy, our order arrived impressively fast! The coffee was delicious — rich and flavorful. We also tried the churros; they weren’t the best I’ve ever had, but still worth a try if you’re curious. Overall, great value for money and a spot I’d definitely visit again!

This meal was the best of our 5 day trip in Seville. Upscale with great service (which we found rare in Seville) and great food. You need to make sure you book as the dining room fills up fast. Steak and honey ribs were our favourite.

Visiting Seville for a weekend trip with my friend, who had spoken highly about her previous experiences at this establishment. Unfortunately, our visit today did not reflect this. Despite having reserved a table, we had to first wait to be acknowledged before immediately being sent away as they did not have space for us. Their demeanour quickly changed once they realised we had in fact booked, and they led us inside. We had reserved a table outside, but were happy to be sat down at all. The restaurant was completely empty. We had to ask for each item we ordered multiple times and follow up on their arrival. Then half of our order never arrived and my friend was left without any food. After following up they informed us they had actually ran out of the multiple food items she had ordered over an hour ago. She left hungry. Women’s bathroom also does not have a lock. Would not recommend.

We have ordered various tapas and they all were super good! My daughter (8Y) tried and enjoyed the food as well. We also had no reservation but were squized in cauee the place is full during the lunch. Highly recommend!

Delicious dinner in nice neighbourhood! A bit off the beaten track, but worth the walk!! Recommend making a reservation, however if you do it’s indoor only, but the room is very nice! We really enjoyed the croquettes, courgette charlotte, ribs and pork tenderloin.

An absolute must if you’re in Sevilla! The best meal of our entire 10 day trip. Everything was outstanding: the service, the atmosphere, and most of all, the food. We ordered the dishes highlighted on the menu followed by the server’s recommendations — every single one was a hit. The flavors and presentation were unique, with a creative twist that made the experience truly special. It gets busy for a reason, so definitely make a reservation. You won’t regret it! We have been celebrating a wedding ceremony on the Pura Vida rooftop terraza and have had a fantastic time and experience. The service level was really extraordinary good and all of the around 70 guests felt super welcome. Also the planning in the weeks before went super well, always super professional and without any complications. Due to the high temperatures the staff was arranging several sun umbrellas that provided plenty of shadow while still maintaining a good view. By speaking of this: the view of the Giralada is just stunning. Thank you sooo much for having us. We will never forget this day!

Great place for a sunset drink (you can't see the sun setting all the way !) I like the atmosphere The cocktails are €11 a pop ! But disappointingly they could not make 2 of their own vodka signature cocktails (WTAF!) The service is not that great. Took my order after telling me my first drink wasn't available, After 10 mins came back to tell me the second cocktail wasn't available but didn't bring over the drinks that were. 10 more passed and finally our drinks arrived. I am sure there are better places for rooftop cocktail

Lovely rooftop bar. Amazing views. As good as any in Seville. There is an adjoining pool where I think you can get access and 2 cocktails for €30, lovely cocktail menu. No table service when we were there and service a little slow when busy

I visited the rooftop bar at Pura Vida in Seville expecting a relaxing evening with a nice drink and a great view — but what I got was far from that. I ordered a ginger ale, which somehow managed to taste like absolutely nothing. Not even the slightest hint of ginger — just flat, flavorless soda water with some lemon . As if that wasn’t bad enough, the glass I was served was filthy. The rim was covered in dust and sticky smudges, clearly not cleaned properly. It was honestly disgusting and made me lose my appetite for even finishing the drink. For a place that markets itself as a stylish rooftop bar, the lack of basic hygiene and quality is shocking. There are plenty of other bars in Seville that actually care about their drinks and their customers — I strongly suggest going anywhere else.

What an amazing spot in Seville! The best part is that you can grab food from different stalls, each with its own flavor, and then sit down to share and enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer with friends. We went here for dinner. The food from the Bao place was DRIPPING in oil, and the waiter that served our drinks did not know how to open a bottle of wine, we thought it would go flying. Considering the ambience and prices, I expect better quality.

Great find so good we went back 3 times (we never do that!). One of the food counters serves full meals with a choice of protein and 3 veggies with an optional sauce really excellent grilled food perfectly marinated and seasoned. Flatbread and focaccia sandwiches were also excellent. Went back for drinks at the cocktail bar below by the river. Excellent cocktails; sangria with fruit juices different but good, a good mojito and Caipirinha.

This is a fun place, very popular . Beers are served in their matching glasses and the staff are well trained when it comes to pouring the beer. They have a very good bottle selection and the prices are not too high. The draught list is classic with some strong beers always available. A must visit if you're into Belgian Beers and a great vibe.

This is a charming little pub in the city center with a very large variety of craft beer. Good prices, light snacks, and the staff was very nice. I'd definitely return!

If you love belgian beer, then this is the place to be in saville. A large choice of beers that are available makes it difficult to choose which one to go for. You really are spoilt for choice. The service was fast and efficient . It is a small venue and at weekends it can get very busy so I suggest that you get there early which is not a problem as it gives you time to enjoy the excellent beers. If you are lucky enough to visit this fantastic city in Spain, then I can highly recommend this pub

Pretty impressive selection of beers from around the world, with a special focus on Belgium (but also UK, Germany etc). However, a majority of the beers are macro breweries (a lot from AB Inbev, e.g.). But fair prices, and they did have a few beers from the excellent Basqueland brewery.

A great place where you can try local food. The crowd was so big that we hardly found a place at least at bar. Which turned out to be a great thing, because the gentleman who served us was very interesting and very helpful. Although I speak little Spanish, I understood everything and it was very interesting to me. So much so that I didn't even bother to order anything, I just let him present the tapas that are the specialties of the house. It was delicious. I especially liked the Montadito de Pringa and Carillada. I would love to go back to this place. All recommendations.

This is the place to be while in Seville. Enjoy the Cathedral and after the visit head straight up to this magical full of live spot for food and drinks. It’s soooo busy and so different, so real in its simplicity. Atmosphere is unreal, very authentic. Food portions are great. We enjoyed hour time while having quick snack during the visit of Seville. A real tapas bar. Not a tourist trap. All the tapas from the kitchen are at 3.10 euros. A beer 1.70 You will have a lot of food like 5 different dishes and 3 beers for 22-23 euros. Cold and hot dishes. One of my favorite is fried eggplant with honey!

Go to for cheap tasty tapas. Get the pork cheeks, anchovies, and calamari! Also the pork with whiskey sauce is delicious. Pringa nothing special, a little dry. We would pass on the cod fritters - mostly batter, but everything else was delicious. Friendly, funny staff!

This place is FUN! Get ready to elbow your way (gently) to the bar, and order from a wide variety of excellent tapas. The prices are very reasonable. The bartenders are have got attitude, but in a good and playful way. They might assume you want to have a beer, but I made sure to try out various sherry wines, which they also have. Plenty of tourists, but plenty of Spaniards here, too. With a bit of luck, you can grab a table the instant one becomes free. I've walked by here 5 times in the past three days and it's packed every time. But don't give up -- just get to the bar. Or maybe you can even find a table outside. Enjoy!

Amazing tapas bar recommended by our hotel. It does not take bookings and is popular. We visited twice during our visit to Seville. We arrived for when it opened and noticed a lot of people arrived even before it opened to get a space. It’s worth noting that they do not do tapas outside. Tapas is very well priced with most plates between 3.50-5EUR

Excellent place! You can sit on the patio if you order half or full plates - tapas go inside. There was a line when we came but we didn't have to wait too long for a table for 2. English service was really good as well. The food was so good - especially the fish with berries, probably one of the most memorable dishes I've had!

I am unfortunately disappointed with the experience I had at your establishment. The behavior of the servers left much to be desired: the plates were placed carelessly on the table, without any attention or care. The cutlery (forks, spoons) was placed along with the bread, with no order or respect for hygiene or presentation standards – each person didn’t even have their own cutlery properly set. Additionally, I noticed unfriendly facial expressions from the staff, which made the atmosphere even more unpleasant. Worst of all, I was served dirty plates, which is completely unacceptable. As for the presentation of the dishes, it was clearly sloppy and unappetizing. That said, I do acknowledge that the food, although poorly presented, was relatively tasty. However, I would like to thank one particular server (William) who tried to save the situation. He showed kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness, which brought a bit of comfort to an otherwise disappointing experience. I sincerely encourage you to train your staff in customer service, table service, and hygiene to meet the expectations of a proper dining establishment.

We had a good time here and ordered some about 6 plates of tapas and 1 main meal which we shares. The tapas portions are very small for €4.50 a plate but very tasty - that’s why I only gave 3 stars. The main dish was Iberian pork which we enjoyed.

Great food, tasty, and in a nice location in Sevilla. First dinner here and it got me excited for the next few days in this wonderful city. Made a reservation and it seems like that is the move since it got crowded. Food was a little more on the expensive side for the size but totally worth it. The beef was really good, the risotto was amazing. Could definitely taste the truffle so if you are not a big truffle person then would not recommend. Wings were alright. What is up with wings in Spain, they are just not great. They just make the wing and put sauce on it. That is not how it’s done. You have to toss them, have the right sauces, and put more sauces than just barbecue. I bet the average Spanish person doesn’t know that there are more wing flavors that barbecue, this is like the third time I’ve had barbecue wings in Spain the exact same way. Other than the wings, everything else was amazing. Definitely a great spot to hit if you are in the area, hopefully it is nicer weather than what I got when I was here. Beli gave it a 6.9 which I think is reasonable. Check this spot out.

Sat at the bar at 8:00 pm. They had daiquiris that were muy deliciosos.The food was also excellent. We had the gyzoza, crispy chicken wings and patatas bravas.The gyoza was the star of the show. The bartender was excellent. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

The food was absolutely delicious. They start with olives as apperitivo and then we ordered the gyoza, the carpaccio, and the tomato salad. All ingredients were super fresh. For the main dishes, we got the tenderloin steak 😋and one of the best mushroom risottos I’ve had, so creamy. Staff were helpful and could apeak english. This was an unplanned walk-in after our visit to the Alcázar, and it truly exceeded expectations. We shared the Patatas Bravas, Salmorejo, and Risotto, which was the perfect amount for three people. (You should definitely try the risotto here!) Our waiter, who spoke excellent English, was incredibly kind, telling me I could ask the restaurant to charge my phone when he noticed my battery was low. The food, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch. A must-visit tapas joint!

We stumbled upon this place by chance while visiting Seville, and it turned out to be an incredible find! The ambience was lovely, and the food was absolutely amazing. On our first visit, we tried the chicken wok, chicken gyoza, and the risotto — and the risotto was truly out of this world! We loved it so much that we came back the very next day and ordered two risottos (so we wouldn’t have to share!) and another serving of chicken gyoza.

It is a classical cerveceria in Sevilla. Good drinking options and good eating options. I am not very impressed with the taste of tapas. I had papas bravas and zetas con jamon. All and all average tastes. It is expensive compared to the others around.

Amazing place! I was waiting for my time for a cathedral visit so I wanted some fast lunch! I am so happy I found this place! They have tapass portions alongside normal portions. Each tapas portion costs 3.25 and I thought at least 2 is needed to make me full. However after egg with fries I was already full! Definetelly recommended for a fast and tasty lunch!! Only one recommendation, I would ask for less salt just because I am trying to reduce it, otherwise its tasty salty food, not over salty (but salty-ish) 😂😂😂

It was a great experience! tapas are 2.75 each and there's a great range. We liked everything we ordered (see pictures). The staff were not very fluent in english, but gestures served us well! Menu has english translation. Seems to be popular with locals as well.

We ordered many tapas, primarily the sevillana style dishes that. The dishes are unfortunately on the salty side otherwise they were great. I came here 4 years ago and around 10 yrs prior to this time but I don’t remember it to be this salty. For traditional tapas, I still highly recommend this place. This is air conditioned part of the restaurant and you can hide from the summer heat here.

A lovely tapas bar in Seville. Wondering the streets of Seville I passed by Las Teresas. I was taken a back by the quaint lighting, the buzz and the smell of olives. I was actually looking for another restaurant but was starving. I was seated at the bar. I made my order and was served quickly with charm a bread basket and olives. I ordered calamari and beef - the exact names I can't remember. I washed it down with Iced Tea. The calamari was cooked freshly- it was slightly overcooked but well seasoned , the outer coating light and crispy. The beef though came a while later perfectly seasoned and tender once bitten into. The fries it came with rustic and salted perfectly. The staff friendly and the vibe was warm and welcoming. Definitely would return here in future.

A bit underwhelming and tourist trap-like. I came here with my friend because I heard this place had good solomillo al whisky. You go in and find a seat yourself. We ordered the patatas aliñadas (Spanish potato salad) for 4.50, tinto de verano, a glass of wine, and the solomillo al whisky that I was shocked to see cost 23.50 for only 100 grams. Overall, everything fell a bit below my expectations. Despite the restaurant being super busy and spanning a couple of buildings, the service wasn't the fastest nor friendliest (not sure if it was because we were tourists). The solomillo al whisky was flavorful, but a bit on the tougher side. To end on a positive note, the vibe and the drinks were great. I'd be a bit hesitant to recommend this place for the food, but if you're willing to pay for the location and setting, you can give it a go.

A terrible experience! I went there with a friend on a July night, and as the weather was very hot we were both wearing shorts but our outfits were very neat and ‘clubby.’ We were denied entry to the club although nowhere on their website was it mentioned that one cannot enter with shorts. Moreover, we were outraged when we saw several girls entering with shorts and no one cared to bother. It’s 2023! Why does a club like this put gender-specific dressing regulations? In the end we got only partly compensated and ended up losing part of the money that we had initially paid for the entrance. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Disrespectful and RACIST. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had as a frequent tourist. We arrived 20 minutes after they had opened the doors. The bouncers at the door said they wouldn’t open until 10 minutes later and asked us to wait. Ten minutes later (12:23am) they looked at us up and down as said we weren’t allowed inside. With no explanation and feeling very rejected we turned around and left. These people are gross!

We were looking forward to have a nice evening. Right befor paying the entry a doorman came to our group and said that we should go out. We wondered why, but did what he said. We went out and all communication stopped. We asked another bouncer what the reason was, why we needed to go and received a naughty answer that we have taken a photo of a women in the entry area. But we have done nothing. This is a really bad nightclub who claims to be upper class but doesn't even communate properly with its customers and insinuates its customers with things they haven't done. No recommendation for this bad club. There are enough good night clubs in sevilla. If it would be possible I would give zero stars for that behavior.

Arrived well dressed and not drunk at 2am. Used the private and paid parking of the club. Then was refused without reason ("only guest"). Don't get it. Staff don't speak English at all you should speak at least a little Spanish.

The place has its ups and downs. The staff isn't the best. We walked off once without paying 2 bottles after waiting 30 minutes for the bill! Once a bouncer went into my toilet cubicle, because he thought I was doing drugs. Instead I was holding my weiner. (I could have sued him for entering the toilet and publicly shaming me in front of many other guests.) The door policy is absurd, forcing people to wear dresses. However, it's the best club in Seville, so we just gotta accept that it is what it is.

Just a 5-minute walk from the Royal Alcázar, this little gem is absolutely worth a visit. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by — you won’t be disappointed. Casa Román serves traditional Spanish tapas that taste fresh and homemade. In fact, if something isn't homemade, it’s clearly marked on the menu — a nice, honest touch that we really appreciated. The tortilla de patatas deserves a special mention — perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The service was excellent too: friendly, efficient, and welcoming throughout. If you’re looking for an authentic tapas experience in Seville, give this place a go!

Casa roman is located not far at all from Santa Cruz. Their menu revives my soul. I had lunch and dinner on two separate days. The Octopus was excellent, perfectly seasoned and very tender. The tortilla which I like soft and goey was exactly that. The artichoke was also a revelation. Casa Roman is hidden away like most amazing place in Seville and if you sit outside at night, you will thoroughly enjoy the lovely vibe.

Food was nice without being great, they were very busy but food didn't come out that hot = felt like the ox tail stew was just sitting in the pot waiting. Pork lion with whiskey, sayse was nice but pork slightly overcooked.

We had a delicious meal with a great atmosphere sitting in the open quart yard. Soaking up the atmosphere in Sevilla Santa Cruz. The artichokes with prawns was delicious but the prawns were really too small.

Casa Roman was recommended to us by our hotel receptionist, and it did not disappoint! Very tasty food, great sangria and the waiter was lovely! It's the middle of March and we had trouble booking a restaurant on a Sunday night for dinner in Seville. This was one of the few remaining restaurants available for online booking at 8pm. We were promptly seated upon arrival but in the lowest floor/basement part of the restaurant, and there was absolutely no views outside of the building (even though the restaurant building is situated right next to the river). It actually looked more like a bar and lounge setup but they stacked some table tops on top of 2 bar tables. Our table top kept rotating with a slight bump. Our young waitress wasn't overly friendly and didn't speak much English, so she couldn't help us much with the menu questions. We tried 3 appetizers: potato salad with bluefin tuna belly (very simple tasting), braised romaine lettuce head with smoked scamorza cheese and red pesto (slightly odd tasting), artichoke & mushroom wth parmentier of yuca and cured meat of wagyu (only app that tasted decent). For mains we had a 2 person serving of the souply rice with scarlett shrimp. Shrimp was fair in size but a bit raw and not fully cooked, soup base had a nice seafood brine to it, and rice was ok. But this dish was overall too pricey at 28Euros per person (we had 2 person portion). The other main was Jig-Caught squid in foie gras cream and cashew nuts. The sauce was super bland, squid a bit rubbery and cashews too sweet. Fries were limp and soggy as well. For drinks my glass of rose was fine, and when I tried to order a beer Cruzcampo Gran Reserva (they didn't have it, but there were lots at the Carrefour across the street at 0.99Euros) so instead I had the Doble Cruzcampo which was ok. The choice of music was also very cheesy, jazzy covers of pop songs that would frequently skip. Overall a very disappointing meal, after we had a lot of very delicious meals thoroughout Spain in our 6 days tour thus far.

The best view of Seville. Excellent food and good service. The “matrimonio de anchovies y boquerones” and the “Torrija de foie” were our favorites! Absolutely amazing! So good we even ordered seconds. We also reserved with 2 months in advance.

Been coming here since 2021. The best restaurant in Sevilla - it’s worth visiting the city just for their tartar de atún. Our waiter Jesús who took care of us was lovely! Five stars always.

Came as walk-in. They were full but host found us a table on the entry level near the window. Server was friendly, gave recommendations and attentive. If you would like rooftop seating 100% make a reservation. We had tapas for lunch and enjoyed everything. Had local ingredients and flavors.

We booked this place for dinner strictly for the view with the expectation of ok food. We were very wrong! The food is fresh and so delicious. The cheese plate is plated on top of honeycomb and was incredible. We loved the ahi tuna toast it had amazing flavor. The olive oil to dip the bread in was fabulous too and the free olives they give were some of the best we’ve ever eaten and we’ve traveled all over. The shrimp in the soupy rice (don’t have the full name) was delicious as well. For dessert - we got the toast and the texture of the dessert toast melted in our mouths. We all loved this place and the food does match the views!

We had a truly wonderful experience at this restaurant. The seafood was incredibly fresh and served right in front of us, and the chef impressed us with his creativity in combining different sauces. Every single dish, from start to finish, was delicious—I honestly couldn’t choose just one favorite. The service was warm, attentive, and very friendly, and the staff handled my special food requests perfectly. What surprised me the most was the price—it felt unbelievably reasonable for such high quality. If I ever return to Seville, this will definitely be one of the first places I visit again.

- Amazing food and service. - We had a little incident however the staff handled it perfectly. - We were super full after we got the full course tasting menu of 14 dishes. The focus on seafood is absolutely amazing and brings out the freshness of food in Sevilla. My favorite was the red snapper croquettes which were crispy, well seasoned and soft. The fried grouper was super tasty and the three ending dessert that leaves you feeling refreshed and not heavy. Great meal! - The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, it was super fun sitting at the bar and watching how skillful the kitchen staffs were. They were a well oiled machine, everybody is skilled at their station with minimal communication required. - Worth it.

I had high expectations for Canabota, especially with its Michelin star, but my lunch experience ended up being a mixed bag. The omakase menu started strong with creative, well-executed dishes, but there were some real missteps—most notably the fried grouper, which was so tough and chewy I had to discreetly spit it out. They kindly replaced it twice, and while the third piece was better (a different fish altogether), it still didn’t meet the standard I expected. Other fish, like the red snapper, were slightly overcooked as well. As the restaurant filled up during lunch hours, the service noticeably dropped off. It became harder to get attention, and details like serving the main with only a spoon and fork felt oddly mismatched for the level of dining. On a positive note, the wine selection was excellent—but I was disappointed to find that the glass I thought was being offered as a goodwill gesture for the earlier issue was actually added to my bill. Overall, there were some memorable dishes and I appreciated the concept, but the execution and service fell short of what you’d expect at this level. At 200 euros including tip, wine, and omakase, I expected a 10/10. A 3.5-star experience for me.

What an experience! It is always a challenge not to spoil the simplicity and flavour of high quality seafood but what Canabota does is by small enhancements they even intensify the flavours. Super down to earth service and generally great atmosphere. My favourites were the cod ice cream and the scarlet shrimp.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. It was one of the best seafood culinary experiences I have had. The way some things tasted traditional and some I had never tasted before, and were able to mix it that agreed with my tastebuds. My favorite by far was the liver cod mousse. It’s a must try for anyone who comes here. The atmosphere was simple, and a bit out of place. We were sitting at the bar and it was lower than the tables behind us, and for my personal taste, I didn’t like that. Otherwise the service was excellent and staff were friendly.

We love seafood and Cañabota offers a 1 Michelin Star ala carte or degustation menu. We opted for the degustation menu and loved every dish except for the Grouper which was undercooked and chewy in the middle. In the hot weather that Seville encounters, we were really pleased that 4 dishes were ice cream……one was a delicious codfish liver ice cream. The white wines recommended by our server paired very well with the food. In our opinion, to get a second Michelin Star would require that the service become impeccable and that tablecloths be utilized.

Amazing little bar serving tapas. No tables inside but some outside seating across the street. Bar is decorated with religious pictures etc and they even burn incense over the bar to increase the ambience. A must see when in Seville.

We got lost and somehow managed to find this bar. It’s small, the bartenders were very kind and we enjoyed the religious decorations inside. Great beer and if you’re looking to mangle with the locals, this is the right place!

The restaurant has only 4 tables to sit at. We had to stand and eat. The bread served was dry and tasted days old. When we asked for the check they only told us the price by writing it on a piece of paper (no proper reciept). The food itself was average at best. It's standard tapas menu you can get anywhere else, but poorly executed.

We got here as it opened as we couldn't get in the night before. Some of the best tapas we have experienced so far. There are tables outside, but the tiny inside is worth eating in if you can get somewhere to stand.

The service is very sevillian, you need to look alert to be served, hold your menu slightly off the bar and there is an English and Spanish version. Luckily the Spanish version is same price as English as I have been to other places where it is not when translated! I chose the plate of tuna, the prawn and garlic sandwich, the machengo cheese and spicy chorizo tapas. All very delicious. The bar was heaving on a Saturday. It was one in one out so try to make friends to stand at a table to enjoy your tapas. I would highly recommend for the atmosphere as there's a church next door where people get married so my bar experience was filled with the priest who was 3 pints deep and all the wedding party plus Spaniards not an English person in sight except me!

Nice place in Alameda de Hercules. Been here on a Thursday afternoon and had a coffee and banana cheesecake which was really good. Staff are nice and welcoming and atmosphere quite chilled and cozy. Would recommend to someone looking to have a quick snack and coffee.

Very cool cocktail bar which serves a wide range of drinks, also serves the tostada breakfasts, coffee etc. and has some delicious homemade cake available throughout the day! Worth a visit! (useful tip: you get 1 euro off all your drinks if you eat at Duo Tapas beforehand, which is at the other end of the Alameda)

Good cocktails and very friendly service. Plus the sangria was good. Good atmosphere in the inside and great outdoors seating. Loses a star as it says craft beer, but this is a bit cheeky. Mainly commercial Spanish and Belgium beer. A shame when there are some good local beers around seville. In summary, best for cocktails.

Wow, wow, wow! Superb and authentic Spanish Tapas bar where you stand and eat at the counter or any available tiny space! They don’t speak much English but then what do you expect - I wouldn’t want them to! They are very friendly though and the food and coffee is great.

Food is very tasty. Overall it is a bit pricey for small tapas, but quality is nice. It's 100% worth a visit even if only for the ambiance. We were surrounded by locals. We tried orange wine and vermouth here, as well as some fun tapas. We could pay by card. It was supposed to be our lunch stop but after a few tapas we decided to have a proper lunch somewhere else. It's a good place for a nice aperitivo.

This place completely blew me away. I don't even know how to describe him. It's like you've stepped into a time machine, a shop from the 1960s, where you're surrounded by locals, standing and eating at the counter or any available place. They don't speak English, but they tried so hard to explain me what all the montaditos they are serving. The montaditos were fantastic. Chorizo Picante con Queso Cabrales was my favourite. I can't wait to go back to this place.

Casa Moreno is about as authentic of a tapas bar as you can find. (I love the "Bullfighting meets Catholicism" decor, which pretty much describes Andalucia anyway. ; - ) When I walked by, I thought it was just a little shop. But once I entered, I went all the way to the back, where there was room to find a seat. It's crowded with friendly locals, which makes the place fun. The bartender was very helping in recommending various sherry wines for me to try out. As for the food -- this has an even more limited food menu than most tapas bars. Which means -- if you're looking for a proper sit-down Spanish dining experience, then this is NOT a good place for that. However, if you want some simple, delicious bar bites, generally served on slices of bread, then you'll be happy here.

Great local spot that you should go to while visiting Sevilla. Their tapas and small sandwiches are very tasty. We loved the pringa, the chorizo with blue cheese and the tortilla with chorizo and melted cheese. They have a cute bar in the back for drinks, but be prepared for locals to stare at you when you come in as it's not a common spot for tourists.

Loved here. Great vibes of an old school sherry bar with delicious tapas and way better service than most of Spain. Yes a bit touristy but there were lots of locals as well. Try the duck rice - super delicious.

Unfortunately, my recent visit to this iconic bar within the emblematic Hotel Alfonso XIII was deeply disappointing. I fondly recall my experience in 2017 when I ordered an Ocnos wine served in a fine-quality glass, accompanied by a meticulously prepared and charming tapa. This time, however, everything seemed to have lost its spark. The wine was served in a crude, poor-quality glass, far from the elegance expected in a venue of this caliber. The accompanying tapa was uninspired, lacking style and any hint of the charm that once defined the experience. The cocktail offerings were equally underwhelming. The drinks lacked creativity and sophistication, while the service was chaotic. The bartenders, with very limited English skills, seemed disorganized, running around like headless chickens, which added a sense of amateurism completely out of place in such a prestigious setting. It’s truly disheartening to see how a once-renowned venue in Seville has fallen into such mediocrity. I sincerely hope the Hotel Alfonso XIII takes action to restore the Bar Americano to its former glory, as it currently fails to live up to the high standards its reputation implies.

This bar is gorgeous, and the service was outstanding. I told Mr. Yong that I was interested in a signature cocktail, but also wanted to see what they could do with sherry wine. He had a lot of great ideas, but then he brought in Senor Jose, who (I believe) is the head of the bar. Senor Juan created a cocktail for me with amontillado sherry, which was wonderful. (I think he called it the "Adonis"). The atmosphere was calm, elegant, but also casual and fun. !Gracias a todos!

Beautiful bar in a gorgeous landmark hotel. They had a live jazz trio last night. Excellent martinis. You do wait a bit for service and the check but this has been our experience most places in Spain.

Did not live up to the expectations. Hotel looks stunning but the bar was not. Lacklustre service, bartender was constantly checking with his colleague what the recipe was for our cocktails. Tables not cleared, sticky bar, had to ask for bites. Outgrown its hey days I’m afraid.

Vastly overcharged for plates of food. The seafood was nice but they don’t like tourists unfortunately. Be very specific with what you want or they will charge a lot for little.

Live jazz most evenings, just off the Alameda. Great location, great music, diverse crowd -- you'd be surprised how often it's mostly expats. Drink selection is nothing special but perfectly adequate; you're not here for the beverages, you're here for the classic tunes. If you're lucky, later in the evening Coco the owner will slide on down to the band and treat everyone to a round of tap dancing. There's nothing like this place anywhere else in Sevilla's center, so take advantage if it sounds remotely like something of interest. You'll be glad you did.

I went there because I read they sold craft beer and it was a jazz bar. The craft beer options was one, it was ok. I stayed for some tapas, nice. The jazz was lively but standard stuff. Cool to see regular guys jamming. I would have loved to hear something a bit more experimental. Can't really complain... It was free 😃

Amazing little bar away from the crowds. Friendly bar staff, beer was really nice ( I had the Rio Azul IPA) Try the empanadas for a tasty snack. The jazz band were very good and the atmosphere was lovely.

This bar is all about the music! We saw three great groups in this wonderful venue in March. The owner seated us to make sure that everyone is accommodated and asks that the audience stay quiet during the performance. This might not sit well with some people, but I really like the respect that was shown to the artists. The drinks are good and reasonably priced. Most performers receive tips left in jars on the tables. Follow the schedule on Facebook or Instagram to see what’s coming up, or check out the board in front of the bar.

Super fun spot to catch jazz and open mic-esque tunes. The musicians that perform seem to know each other well, which adds to the intimate and friendly experience. Highly recommend if you can catch them on a performance night.

LITERALLY THE WORST PULPO / OCTOPUS I HAVE EVER HAD. Wine selection was not bad. Service was brisk but not terrible. Ambiance was fine but nothing special, my table wobbled a bit. Truly the octopus was terrible. I have had this dish 5 times in Spain, many times in other countries and cook it myself. This is the ONLY time I have been truly displeased. It's pure rubber. No flavour. No sear on the outside. They would have had to try to mess this up this bad. Reflects true lack of competence in the kitchen. Don't waste your time, calories, or euros here.

Hidden just off the main square of Alameda De Hercules in Sevilla is the utter gem that is Duo Tapas. This restaurant is full every night and if you don't reserve, then odds are you won't get a table and there is a very good reason for this. You sit and are presented with a detailed menu of tapas plates and the staff are highly knowledgeable. Within a minute or so of your order, some of the most delicious food I have experienced anywhere on the planet will suddenly start arriving at your table. Trust me, you will want to eat everything that they bring you. Honestly this is one of my 3 favourite global restaurants and that experience spans across Europe, the Middle East and Russia. If you don't make a special trip to find this restaurant when you're in Seville, then you've seriously missed out. Reasonably priced and the food is of an excellent standard, a standard that never drops. I never go to Seville without seeking this place straight out and you should too. 5 🌟 and should have a Michelin star. Maybe Mr Ramsey should make an effort to visit and raise the profile. They now own several restaurants around Seville, which is a growing testament to the incredible food here.

It was extremely expensive for some very cheap food. Squid the only dish worth ordering. Calamari rings €1 each probably frozen. Patatine locas, €6 for a small portion of chips and sauce.

I was a bit disappointed with my experience here. The menu was available in several languages, including English and French, but it didn’t match what was actually being served. I ordered what I thought was salmon, but it turned out to be pork... which could be quite dangerous for someone with allergies or religious dietary restrictions. The asparagus dish was also underwhelming, especially compared to others I’ve had in Spain. When I mentioned the mistake they kindly offered me a free glass of wine which I appreciated. But by then, the damage had already been done. I honestly don’t really understand the hype about this place; I’ve had much better tapas elsewhere in Sevilla

Ate here twice for late lunch and always busy. Staff are very friendly and efficient and food we chose both days was excellent . Drinks were so fast, all dishes we had were perfect - unless you are really hungry make sure to order tapas size as they are very generous portions! Paella Mixta at 20 EU was really good flavour. Only downside was being an outside bar with lots of people there was constant cigarette smoke while we ate… not the bars fault of course just gross when eating.

I got there every morning for a take away coffee con leche. After the first morning we were already friends and from there on I was greated as a local every morning. So warm so lovely. We had our last tapas dinner here as well. An extra table was set up for us outside in two seconds. The food was delicious so were the drinks. I love this pleace because of the friendly staff and the good food. Any time again. Will miss my friendly mornings here.

We enjoyed a wonderful outdoor dinner by a local park, with great vibes all around. We ordered fish and a few tapas—everything was excellent—and the restaurant sprayed a fine mist into the air, keeping it fresh and pleasant while we dined. Jesús es lo mejor de Candelas!

Lovely and vast riverside bar with a solid playlist. Cool mist much needed on the riverside. Prices are affordable and a good drink selection, but nothing fancy. Staff were not the best, or friendliest, but maybe just a tough day.

THE BEST BAR IN THE WORLD! It has a very nice view to the river. Their homemade chips are really good. Children friendly. Love the cats that walk around the place.

There aren't many establishments along the river for beverages. Muelle New York is the best location to have a drink and do some sunning by the river. It is located near the ferris wheel. Cool bar right next to the river with great views over the water. Prices a little more expensive than other places in the town, 3.50EUR for a beer and 2.00EUR for a water, but still very affordable given the location! Wish we would have tried a couple of cocktails - next time!

it's between a busy road and the river. you can sortof hear the busy road but not see it cause you are way lower so it didn't bother me. you have to get your own drinks at the bar but the terrace is nice with some nice plants and enough parasols to cover you from the sun.

We ordered some drinks. First no service to the table. And then ur glasses had still lipstick from the previous costumers. Idk how they clean the glasses but it ruined the experience

Great spot to cool down after the plaza de Espana. Relaxed atmosphere, comfy chairs, pleasant servers, chill music. Lots of choice of cocktails under the shade of the trees with the gentle sound of the fountain.

This is a great little spot, in full shade. Sometimes can take a while for them to come round, can be quite busy. Birds will harass you if you have any food or drop any so be warned. Good beer and good music too, lots of covers.

A little open air bar in a gorgeous spot, surrounded by trees and water. It's just around the corner from Plaza De Espana, so a perfect pit stop for a Spritz. However the Spritz couldn't be anymore disappointing. We tried the Garden Spritz - it didn't have a list of ingredients on the menu, so thought it would be an adventure. We ordered two, along with an Aperol. The Aperol and one Garden Spritz came out, the second was just coming apparently. After 5 minutes, no second Spritz. Flagging the waiter down, he said it was on its way. It was another 5 mins, the second Garden Spritz took long enough to come that I had nearly finished my Spritz and I needed to order a glass of wine (which came with a grape in the glass) to ensure I also had a drink to drink while my friends were drinking theirs. The Garden Spritz just tasted like a glass of fresh orange juice. The Aperol was very weak. Such a shame. Overall, the service was slow (some people even got up and left as they hadn't been acknowledged) and the Spritzes were poor but the location and atmosphere were stunning.

Avoid! Sangria blanca has lots and lots of ice and syrup and very few fruits. Very little white wine on a mountain of rocks! 😅 Absolutely Not what you might expect from classic Sangria Blanca in Spain.... ! Pictures before and after! 😂

The final day in Seville and left with 4 hours and our suitcases, we stumbled on this beautiful place. With a long flight/drive back home we stayed here for most of that time watching the world go by, chilling, eating and drinking. Comfy seats, shade or sunshine depending on the weather. It was very peaceful and a great end to a busy few days exploring Seville. Even better it is perfectly positioned. 5 mins from Plaza de España, so just beyond the crowds and about 100 metres from the bus stop for the EA bus service to the airport. Between us we had coffees, cocktails, fruit juice and beers at a reasonable price for a place so central. We had a small pizza and a panini that were average, but filled us up more cheaply than airport food. The food may explain why the place was so quiet, but it certainly ticked many boxes for our last few hours in Seville

The most amazing outdoor bar in Sevilla. Great ambient, chill music, caring staff, comfy couches with the beautiful views of a park. Coming back here for sure :)

Lounge-y, relaxed and immersed in the park. Menu was fine - nothing stood out, but the trees provided shade and the ambiance was great. One note worth mentioning that during my visit the men's toilet overflowed or the bathroom was having water issues - kind of an 'ick' moment, but surely a moment in time.

We initially stopped by for a quick drink before heading back to the hotel to get ready, but we ended up staying until it was time for dinner because the atmosphere was fantastic. They offered cocktails inspired by different 80s movies. I tried the Pulp Fiction Cocktail, which tasted just like a milkshake. The music was excellent, and I would definitely recommend stopping by for a couple of drinks or even staying longer. The staff were so friendly despite the language barrier, very helpful and nice.

Absolutely loved this place! The vibe is super cool, and everything feels top-notch. The cocktails are amazing — really high quality and super tasty. I loved the creative menu inspired by Hollywood and cinema history, such a fun idea! At the same time, the bartenders are really friendly and happy to make drinks exactly how you like them. Great mix of originality and hospitality — can’t wait to come back!

Lovely modern bar with an 80s movie themed cocktail list, which is presented in a VHS case! The cocktails are delicious and made with the utmost care. Given the delicious drinks and immaculate decor, we expected to pay a premium, but in fact they were reasonably priced. Will definitely go back to try more of the cocktails.

Fantastic cocktails. John the bartender was easily one of the best I've encountered in Spain. I ordered one drink off the menu which was great, then just asked him to make his favorite drinks and the next two were even better!

Very nice place. Beautiful decorations in the theme of 50-90s movies. The drinks which are also inspired by movies are creative and delicious. Also loved the service and I wish I could stay the whole night!

This bar is something else. You enter into a mind blowing religious experience. The landlord has a look of a senior Humphrey Bogart and his signature drink is a mix of Grenadine, whisky and prosecco. It is tart yet sweet and certainly alcoholic! It is an experience you will not want to miss when visiting Seville.

You can only pay in cash, which is only revealed when you pay!! Several of us sat like "hostages" at the counter, while others went to the ATM for cash... :D it's interesting to go there once; it's one of the exciting survivors of the alternative ruin pub era of the 90s. The Blood of Christ cocktail is very sweet; and the place opens after 10 pm, so it's worth paying attention to that.

I would lie if I said that this bar is not worth visiting!:-) travelling is all about experiencing local life, local culture and getting to know locals - you can do it all right here! Absolutely bizarre, the interior takes you to Madonna's Like A Prayer video clip and the locals are super friendly! Try their house drink El Sangre del Cristo. Overall score: 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bar Garlochí is a truly unique and surreal experience - like stepping into a scene from Alejandro Jodorowsky’s Santa Sangre. It’s theatrical, excessive, religious, baroque, and unapologetically bloody. The walls drip with Catholic iconography, saints stare at you from golden altars, and every candle seems lit with feverish devotion. It’s not just a bar - it’s a shrine, a fever dream, a hallucination in velvet and incense. I ordered the signature cocktail: “The Blood of Christ” - and that blood was very sweet and intoxicating.

The place was cool, the bar man was so rude and homophobic. Which was a pity as the place had such a good vibe. It just needs more friendly and able staff. The house cocktail I had read about but it tasted awful like a really bad negroni. I wouldn’t be enticed to return. They only accept cash too which is so outdated and suspect ! Horrendous staff but pop in to take a picture and LEAVE.

It’s not a place to come to if you’re looking for a fancy drink or great service. The interior might not be to everyone’s liking and it’s quite expensive for Seville but it’s worth every cent. This place is more of an experience than a place to have a drink at. Very limited choice of drink, that’s worth mentioning… Best if you feel like drinking some of Christ’s Blood… the bartender’s /owner’s signature cocktail. Everything here is full of character and I absolutely loved it. Cash only.

A very chill place where you'll find professional flamenco artists performing late night for free. You have to mandatorily order stuff to drink which is expensive in itself but really not much if you consider the experience.

Place is authentic but the boss (woman at the entrance) is not nice at all. The problem is the place was full and drink are mandatory even if you stay on your feet against a wall... Anyway we staid 15minutes and we left

You have to go here, even if you're here for one night!!! This was the best night of our trip! We got there around midnight and the music started around 12:30. All drinks were $7, and entry was free, which we felt was more than fair. The crowd was mainly local women older than 50, and they were so fun to be around. There was a lot of spontaneous flamenco dancing, by amateurs and professionals alike.

Very authentic, Anselm seems a bit rude but really she likes to be in control, don't argue as it's the best place to see and hear the locals sing and dance, opens at midnight so be prepared to wait and if she doesn't loke you bye bye. Buy one drink and enjoy it, every night is different.

Not sure what anyone expects when they get in the door but hey, it's local, it's not the typical tourist show one may want when they think of Flamenco but, it's theirs. Local. So, go with the flow. Spend a few songs here to experience normalcy. Many of us standing didn't buy a drink so, the price was right, even if we'd have to had to spend a few bucks, fun little spot to do so. I enjoyed the mother taking charge, making it feel like their house which I'm sure, she'd had preferred we had a drink but most people seemed to have only one and if they were $7 euros, we just spent 9 for two drinks a block away without music, so....choices! Enjoy!

Best flamenco I've ever seen! Speak Spanish, make a reservation to sit front row, prepare to pay 7 euros for a drink (which is completely reasonable given entry is free) and enjoy getting caught up in the arguments and quirkiness of Anselma! Shows start at 12, finish around 2:30. If you are a tourist, at least don't act like one!

I highly recommend the flamenco show..It was so authentic. The singing and dancing really transported us. We had goosebumps the whole show. The kids also enjoyed it. They were mesmerized!

Excellent show and very well organized. Not too big and very close to the singers and dancers. The show was magnificant and very professionel. I can only recommend it.

It was our first time seeing a flamenco performance and this didn't disappoint! It was very authentic and left us wanting see more. The dancers, singer and musician were excellent! If you're looking for something to do in Sevilla, this is a great choice!

Good flamenco (to my eyes) and good music, fantastic guitarist. A drink is included in your ticket. Our show did over run a little, doesn't bother me but worth noting. A lot of the one star reviews say because of asking people to be quiet and not take pictures. To be fair to do ask at the start. Flamenco is something where the audience either need to get it just right or be silent so I completely agree with them. People talking during a quiet passionate part is infuriating.

Absolutely brilliant! The musicality and performance were excellent! It was intimate and intense and great value for money. I cannot recommend it highly enough!!
