Worst management, waited for 1hr to get seats and another half hour to get food and 15 more minutes to get our bill. No coordination between waiters and managers. And the misal was average. Although a good place to have a day out with kids. Nashik has plenty of options in the city for the best misal if you don't want to wait for that long.

Review dated 11-05-2025 – a recent visit The place is quite far from the city, and you must pay in advance even before being seated. Despite having very few walk-in customers compared to other misal spots, the management is chaotic with random seating. Service is poor — even a simple request like extra pav takes 15–20 minutes. The staff is rude, acting like they’re doing you a favor. While the taste and ambiance are decent, the overall experience is disappointing.

A great place to visit with family. Must try- jaggery jalebi, mixed bhajji. Suitable for children. A big size zula and camel safari is available. You can enjoy 3-4 hours in the vicinity of nature.

Mr. Kailas Kukkar and their staff Worst experience at Shree Ambika Misal. They served me a completely burnt and disgusting misal yesterday. They could have simply told us that the misal was over, instead of serving us burnt and unfresh misal. After just one bite I told their staff, but instead of accepting their mistake they got defensive and rude. very arrogant One worker even tasted it at the counter and made a face like he wanted to spit it out, that’s how bad it was. Still, they refused to admit it. The owner then started doing drama by pretending to serve the same misal to himself, and one of their staff said "bagh seth pan aata khanaar aahe hi misal" but the Seth never actually ate it. Clearly acting. To top it all, they shamelessly charged me the full amount, including pav I never even touched. and the misal which i just took 1 bite and gave up on it What kind of customer service is this? This place is running only on old name and hype. The quality is pathetic, staff is arrogant, and the owner (Kailas Kukkar) is just pretending instead of fixing his food. i went with high expectations but the experience was extremely disappointing. “If you still want to visit, then go before 1 PM — after that they just serve the same burnt misal kept on the gas, with zero freshness and zero shame.” Ambika Misal = Overrated, unhygienic, and disrespectful to customers. Since it is hyped placed it is to be crowded over the weekend. Still didn't had to wait. But lot of college crowd just drooling around the place for selfie. Coming to misal had better once in comparison, I think the jalebi there took all the goodness of taste hot and crispy loved it. The peru lassi was okay, just made fancy in earther glass. Overall it is okay, if you going for ambience it is fine but misal ain't that worth.

This place has the best bhakri misal — a must-try! We also had the peru lassi, which was awesome, and my personal favorite, the peru ice cream. “Peruchi vadi” (Peru means Guava & vadi means house) name inspired by Guava farm. Atmosphere : for us we had great atmosphere, due to weather conditions it was rainy along with too sunny so it was calm climate. Hotel is fully surrounded by with small trees and some grep garden , though there was some expansion going on so it is some muddy while walking through place. Place has multiple things to enjoy like Guava ice cream , some fruits plates like guava , cucumber, raw mango slices. Apart from that there is small zoo section which having small birds , hens, fan-throated lizards which you can touch them and take pictures with them as they have dedicated professional team who always takes care and make them human interaction very friendly. It costs around 100 Rs per person which is completely worth. Coming to the misal which is famous for it , taste is really awesome. It doesn’t feel neither so spice nor sweet. It has perfect balance of taste which makes you good , along with misal they serve papad , Dahi and Bhakari as part of options. Apart from that for sides , you can have Alu/kanda bhaji , Lassi , Buttermilk and Guava ice cream. Costs is very budget friendly for 2 people. Service : Coming to the service which is challenging part as we went in weekend timings lunch timing. There is token section which you don’t get easily while entering, you need to take token number and remember them as they don’t have physical token number and once they announce with your given name , you will get your seats. Seating arrangement are as per number of customers, For 2 people you might get to sit on normal table while group of 5-6 or more than that get chance to seat under garden side. That has to be improved else parking space is well enough , you can park 2/3/4 wheelers easily in front of their hotel. I would say even though as service part , you could enjoy with your family / friends in waiting time in games section , bird watch , boating , rain or normal dance which will easily spend 2-3 hrs easily.

Upon visiting Nikhara, I anticipated an exceptional culinary experience based on its reputation, yet I found it to be rather overrated. While the restaurant excels in presentation and offers a unique serving style, its culinary offerings fell short of expectations. As a huge fan of misal dishes from Nasik, I found Nikhara's Misal to be merely average in flavor, lacking the distinctive zest I have come to appreciate in this regional specialty. One notable inconvenience was the absence of basic amenities such as a wash basin. Instead, a rudimentary plastic jar for handwashing has been kept outside the restaurant. Moreover, the absence of handwash and tissue papers was notable, particularly considering the restaurant's pricing. The disparity between the service quality and the relatively high price point, notably Rs.100/- for the misal, was evident throughout the dining experience. Additionally, the lack of a formal bill system resulted in an embarrassing situation whereby we were called back to settle outstanding charges due to oversight on the restaurant's part. We had already left the restaurant and it’s pretty insulting to be called back without any fault of yours. Regrettably, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Nikhara to fellow diners, nor do I foresee revisiting the establishment in the future.

The fact that they didn't even bother to use coriander leaves in their recipe was also a major letdown 😀 it was a mediocre combination of minimum required contents. nothing fancy! Nothing extra, nothing sets it apart other than use of smoke i.e. nikhara as name suggests! Clean environment & Good representation for sure! While I appreciate the use of traditional cooking methods, such as the pot, for representation purposes, it was far from convenient to eat from. Moreover, the restaurant charged extra for a water bottle, even when they did not have sweets to offer with the misal combo as promised. No tissue papers are offered either! I don't recommend it!

As the name depict , you will get Amazing Nikhara misal (निखारा मिसळ). You can have curry(मिसळ तर्री) either spicy or mild one. One thing i notice is that they serve gulabjam with misal which is one of the innovative idea. Supportive staff .keep it up ( चविष्ट मिसळ 😋😋 )

One of the best places in Nashik to have authentic Misal. They had their first outlet in Satpur MIDC and now they opened 2 more. The misal is delicious and mid-spicy. You can have the tarri if you want to make it more spicy. They have Matki usal with Shev and Pav size is big compared to others. They give fried Papad & Dahi with each Misal. We also tried their Kanda bhaji & Batata bhaji and both were spot on. Taak/Buttermilk was also tasty. Absolutely recommended...

If you are in Nashik and fond of trying out Misal at different places then I would highly recommend you to try Shamravanchi Sunder Misal. I visited this place recently. I didn't try any Misal for last few months so to reignite the Nashikkar in me planned to have Misal last Saturday. We wanted to try Barbeque Misal near Prasad Circle but seems to have closed permanently so we decided to try this place. Coming to point Misal was delicious. Not too spicy and palatable. Location wise it's in old city area so they have parking here but if you are big group please reach early. Ambience is Ok. Not a very big place but definitely a must try. Service was good. We ordered Mix Bhaji and Kharvas which was good too. Overall cost for us was 200 per head. Verdict - Must Visit Pro tip - If you want to extend the experience do go and have Pineapple Sharbat with icecream at Samarth Juice Centre which is nearby 🙂

Didn't like the misal here all that much. Felt overly filling and the broth not very flavourful. We were quite disappointed with the taste after hearing so much praise from people. Hopefully it was an off day.

A must go place for misal lovers. I never liked a misal which is available in mumbai, but the moment i tasted misal here, i became a fan of this place. I went to Shyam Sundar Vishal with lot of expectations. After so many recommendations from my Nashik localite friends, I went there with my family ordered five misal pav. Honestly the service was bad. First they give me pav, after 4 -5 minutes they gave misal, consists of thick shev and matki.(Sprouts). I waited for almost 10 minutes for curry o/sample /Tarri to arrive at my table. There was nothing special in overall taste I found it very very ordinary. I spend rs 550 for 5 misal pav. For buttermilk and tea rs 80 were spent. Over all bill was rs 620. I will say this place is not worth the hype at all. While serving misal, waiter spilled it over the table. Not a very clean show by so called famous misal shop in Nashik. Extremely disappointed.

Misal is less spicy but tasty, good quantity of मटकी (moth bean) in usal. Vada usal is also good. Wash it down with in house lassi or chaas. Sufficiently clean with ample seating space. Service is quick & the food is moderately priced.

This place is about taste no ambience. Black curry misal you will get here. Taste is good, arguably better than many of those famous misal joints in the city.

This is our usual place for family night. They have good quality food, service can be better but due to rush, they can't make it. Good ambiance, rates are moderately cheap. What I love is food and their professionalism. Parking place is available but can be better. My favourite - Lemon coriander soup.

A branch of Curry Leaves chain of restaurant. It serves veg & Jain meals . Based on village theme ,the restaurant has slides,swings ,games to keep kids engaged . Matka kulfi ,fire pan and some handmade products (sold by NGO) are also available

We visited during Sunday afternoon. Wait time for finding table was not much. Service was slow, food was good. We tried Sabudana vada it was amazing. Misal was great as well. If you need to eat something quick then order Misal. They have different other type of cuisine as well. They have plenty of parking. But in rain parking area get muddy.

The place is very nice to spend quality time with family especially in the evening, afternoon is also good but is hot. Overall the food quality is very nice, all the dishes were good especially misal. North Indian food is also very good. It is a must visit place with family & is very convenient as it is just about 300 meters from Lam road.

Food quality was good. The taste is also good. We ordered panner tandoor starter but the panner is not properly tandoor. We ordered Butter roti but they gave us butter chapati. Otherwise all good.

Service staff very . The big bread ran out and even though they gave me a small bread, they didn't reduce the price. When we went to talk, they said, "Fix our rate, ahe." I always eat 2 extra breads, but today I had to pay 6 extra breads because the breads were too small.

Our chachi ki misal is best if u compare with this one. I didn't like the taste and the quality men. It was not good, I'm food lover n I can tell u the exact taste. May be if also a brand, first time experience was really bad. Rest everything is good.

No nonsense misal. Quantity of sprouts is well balanced. Previously it was very spicy, but as many people have started visiting the place spice level is decreased. Slightly different than other joints in town. Premises is specious as well as clean. Worth trying

1. Missal Quality is very poor compare to Sadhana, grape ambasy, sham sudar.. 2. Very arrogant attitude of lady who is sitting at counter. She behave like 'paisa cha maj'. This is the one reason why Marathi peoples business can not run successfully for long time.

They give 4 types of different misal rassa ( kolhapuri rassa, Nashik cha black rassa, Puneri misal rassa and Jain rassa ) And two types of pav. They also give poha, potatoes sabji and shev, and papad. The taste was very good, must try. I like their spicy kolhapuri rassa and black rassa, they give all this in Rs.99 rupees.

There are two "Barbeque Missal" in Nasik. This one is near Vidya vikas circle, Gangapur road. The ambience is good. The food is ok. The Rassa provided to us was not hot. The taste was also ok. Nothing as great as its unique name. It was an ok and not so good experience for me.

Tried this barbeque misal recently and loved it to the core. Four types of misal are served kolhapuri, puneri, nashik, and green. Kolhapuri and nashik rassa tasted amazing. Spicy and flavourful just the way I like it that too with unlimited pav. Ambience is lovely too. Apart from misal, you'll get other items too like sandwiches, pizza. Jain misal is available too.

This is not barbecue misal outlet locals are using it under their name.No taste at all they will only give unlimited paav and very less farzan so that you have to take farzan and bhaji separately.Do not visit.

First of all Hygiene was zerooo… Like what and whom you are serving it was totally disgusting to sat on uncleaned tables that also in the covid time, with zero respect of customers…. Staff is so chilled they will take whatever extra time possible to serve and no appropriate response from the counter person when I asked that Rassas are not warm enough to eat. Also about the Missal.. there is no such thing called Barbecue its just regular 4 extra spicy rassas served that also cold not hot enough to eat, Matki/ussal was like 1table spoon in the bowl filled with sev. So will recommend not to visit for sure!!

The place is having barbeque concept. Having unlimited misal at 120rs offering 4 misal curry i.e puneri(chatpati),kolhapuri(spicy),nashik(black masala) etc .along with poha,aloo etc . Ambiance was good and having swings as chair in some part . Only issue was taste,was really disappointed and too spicy despite opting puneri one also they served cold misal and offered only want which I want ,may be because I visited bit late . Verdict Not sure,will try once again on prime time .

Undoubtedly best Misal i have tasted in Nashik till now .. and i have covered some well known ones in town .. Tarri has a slight spicy zing which goes well with the Misal's taste .. i have taken only the spoonful tarri which was good enough to add the necessary zing to overall dish .. paapad was tasty .. misal portion was good for one person .. sitting arrangement was comfirtable.. the joint is not posh but assures you the taste which should be the overall point .. rabdi was good and only moderately sweet .. a must visit place if you are misal paav lover

Anna misal is Spicy Misal In nashik.i Loved the tastes and services. The misal taste is amazing must try with rabdi combination . Service is very nice . Anna is very polite person . And his misal is wow . Must Visit place if u like spicy 🌶 food .

This place is at the one of the end of Ramavadi bridge. The service won’t disappoint you as the staff over is very passionate about their work and they love to see cheerful faces of their customers. Anna Misal Ek number Misal... It's medium spicy. If you want spicy misal you ask for it. They give seperate tarri rassa and plain rassa. Misal plate contains sprouted moth beans, sev, 2 pav, curd, chopped onion and a slice of lemon. Papad is also served but it was not so tasty. It was too salty. Misal is very tasty. They also serve lassi, buttermilk, solkadhi rabdi. It's very crowded Misal joint. We need to wait for some time on weekends. Service is prompt. Total value for money. Must try place for all Misal Pav lovers.

Shree Krishna Vijay Misal serves one of the tasties Misals in the city. Unlike other Misals, that have a red *Rassa*, this Misls has got a nice, black *Rassa*. But sometimes on weekends or public holidays, you might have to wait for a healthy amount of time, to get a table.

We had travelled to Nashik from Vadodara, Gujarat, and a friend had asked us to try the local cuisine, which was delicious. I especially enjoyed the Misal Bhakhari with Papad and hot tea. We eat Misal Pav in Vadodara, but here we try Misal Bhakari. It was very tasty. Bhakari is a Bajara Roti. We Gujaratis call it Bajara Rotla, but the locals call it Bhakhari. But the combination is incredible. I enjoyed the test of Misal Bhakhari very much. So, I ask that all of my friends who visit Nashik come here at least once and try Misal Bhakari. The owner is friendly and helpful, and the facility is spotless and of high quality.

Decent place with decent prices. Must try is mung bhajji and misal pav (they will serve papad dahi also with misal pav and don't forget to ask for tarri if you want spicy misal).

Best Misal Eating from 13-14 Years. Best and unique taste from other misal in Nashik. Best part is they have two Branches one at College road and second at Dwarka near SBI Bank. They also give Bhakari with Misal.

Reasonably priced good quality food (morning/evening nashta items) are served here in this highway service road facing small restaurant. Cleanliness is there, and the kitchen is viewable from the seating area. Hence, we can monitor hygiene maintenance in the kitchen. Moong Bhaji taste was beyond excellent. Wet moongs were grinded fresh after we ordered and prepared hot hot bhaji in front of our eyes.

I still remember the hype which was created when the restaurant was new but the faster it became famous, equally fast the popularity declined. They missed a golden opportunity to capitalize. Nevertheless, they are coming back with other innovative ideas to pounce back. The 'Missal' offered here is totally unique. The location is on the outskirts of the city and hence cool and pleasant ambience. The walls of the restaurant are painted in 'Warli' art and highly attractive. Even the interiors are well built and they have given, high importance to aesthetics. A must visit place!!

The nikhara misal is superb & a must have. The pav/bread is available in 3 types: white/regular,nachni & wheat/brown. We can order the bread according to our preference.

This place was great with lots of greenery, big trees, plantatrion etc. Misal taste was good (could have been better). The Manager over there Mr. Jagtap is an elder person but his energy and enthusiasm to explain and to entertain was great. There were some activities and play area for kids as well. They had tractor ride and boat ride which was extra chargeable. Overall great place to enjoy and click great pics and can spend arnd 2 hours there.. They have stay options as well but the rooms and bathrooms were not so well maintained. Overall a great place to enjoy.
