Nestled in the heart of Nashik, Sadhana Chulivarchi Misal is a delightful restaurant that captures the essence of rural Maharashtra. Established in 1959, this charming eatery features mud walls and village-style seating that create an inviting atmosphere reminiscent of a traditional village. The open kitchen adds to the rustic charm, where diners can savor one of the best Chulivarchi Misals around.
Nashik’s Best Misal: A Vibe and a Flavor Bomb Sadhana Chulivarchi Misal is more than just a restaurant; it’s an absolute experience. Tucked away in the heart of Nashik, this place perfectly captures the spirit of a true Maharashtrian eatery—bustling, friendly, and radiating a wonderful, authentic energy. The vibe here is truly special. They embrace a rustic, village-style atmosphere (like their Hardev Baug location), often featuring traditional seating and an open environment. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with the aroma of spices and the cheerful sound of people enjoying their food. It’s the perfect, unpretentious spot for a morning breakfast or a quick, satisfying lunch. They’ve clearly mastered creating an environment that feels both welcoming and traditional, celebrating the "Chulivarchi" (wood-fired stove) cooking method. Now, for the main event: the Misal Pav. It is, without a doubt, a masterpiece. The core curried moth beans (usal) were cooked to perfection, but what truly elevates the dish is the legendary tari (or sample/kat). This spicy, fiery red oil is served on the side, allowing you to customize the heat level exactly to your liking. The depth of flavor in the tari is incredible—spicy, yes, but also nuanced with authentic, aromatic spices, carrying a subtle, rustic smokiness from the chulha. The Misal base is crowned with a generous portion of crisp farsan and freshly chopped onion, providing that essential crunch and textural contrast. Served alongside beautifully soft pav, every single bite is perfectly balanced. It's a satisfying, soul-warming dish that delivers on its promise of heat and flavor. Don't forget to try their famous Gulachi Jalebi for dessert! If you’re in Nashik and looking for a truly authentic, highly enjoyable Misal Pav experience, you simply must visit Sadhana Chulivarchi Misal. They nail both the quality of the food and the unbeatable, local atmosphere. Highly, highly recommended!
Neeraj S — Google review
The place has a great vibe with a pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious, and they offered two curry options for the misal — medium spicy and extra spicy. The Chulivarchi Misal Pav was flavorful, and the Misal Bhakari was equally impressive. We also tried the vada, which was perfectly cooked and tasty. There’s plenty of parking space, along with a few small stalls for both kids and adults to enjoy. The service and management were excellent, and the staff was attentive and friendly. The Chulivarcha ice cream was the highlight of our visit!

Sadhana Chulivarchi Misal in Nashik offers a pleasant and vibrant ambiance, making it a comfortable place to dine. The service is courteous and efficient, ensuring a good experience. The Bhakri Misal is an interesting concept, though the misal itself tastes just average. This spot is recommended for its atmosphere and unique menu items, but foodies seeking outstanding flavors may find it only satisfactory. Ideal for casual outings and local Maharashtrian cuisine. Nice Ambience. Nice Service. Bhakri Misal is nice concept. Misal Tastes ok ok.

⭐ My Review: Sadhana Chulivarchi Misal Sadhana Chulivarchi Misal is one of those places that gives you much more than just a meal. The village-style ambiance sets the mood the moment you enter. Open spaces, old table sitting and calm, traditional feel make the environment very refreshing. It’s the kind of setup where you naturally feel relaxed and can take your time enjoying the experience. The misal itself lives up to its reputation. The wood-fired preparation adds a distinct smoky aroma that you instantly notice. The rassa has a balanced depth of spice, and the combination of farsan, pav, and toppings feels fresh and generous. The flavors are bold yet comforting, making it a great choice for people who enjoy authentic Maharashtrian misal with a unique twist. Their gulachi jalebi and solkadhi are also worth trying if you enjoy something sweet or soothing on the side. Service is smooth even during busy hours, and the place is well-organized. Families, groups, and even solo visitors can enjoy the atmosphere without feeling rushed. Overall, it’s a spot that blends good food with a memorable ambiance. If you’re looking for a traditional experience along with great taste, this is a place worth visitin good.

Sadhana Misal - It was a nice experience overall. I found this place little bit crowded when we visited it, but there was no waiting. It was amazing to see so many people (at least 50 tables) enjoying the misal paav with their friends and families. It is a popular spot to spend time for local people.
Sarvesh M — Google review
Visited Nashik for Trimbakeshwar Darshan and tried the famous food Misal Pav at Sadhna Chulivarshi Misal. The taste was really good, jalebi was fresh and delicious. Ambience is amazing, and within their compound (outside dining area) they have fun activities like rope climbing & rope cycling. Perfect place to visit with family & friends. Highly recommended!
Sumit A — Google review
Visited Sadhana Chulivarchi Misal with family and honestly, what an experience! 😍 The misal was rich, spicy in the best way, and super flavorful — you can literally taste the smokiness from the chulha. It hits different! 🔥 Even though there was a crowd (as expected for such a popular place), the staff handled everything smoothly. Service was quick, clean, and well organized. No unnecessary waiting. Plus points — ample parking space, which is a blessing 😄 and they also have different activities and mini setups, so the whole place feels like a fun, village-style food outing instead of just a restaurant. Kids had a good time too! Overall, perfect for family visits and true misal lovers. 100% recommended! 🌶️❤️✨

Taste is good..Service is good fast and polite..plenty of Seating arrangement is available..You should go with family, kids and with friends..Thank you..I am saticefy..🙂 Recently I tasted the Aamaras thali...Aamras taste is too good and sweet...🥰
Pradnya B — Google review
Worst management, waited for 1hr to get seats and another half hour to get food and 15 more minutes to get our bill. No coordination between waiters and managers. And the misal was average. Although a good place to have a day out with kids. Nashik has plenty of options in the city for the best misal if you don't want to wait for that long.
Gaurav K — Google review
Review dated 11-05-2025 – a recent visit The place is quite far from the city, and you must pay in advance even before being seated. Despite having very few walk-in customers compared to other misal spots, the management is chaotic with random seating. Service is poor — even a simple request like extra pav takes 15–20 minutes. The staff is rude, acting like they’re doing you a favor. While the taste and ambiance are decent, the overall experience is disappointing.
Dhanshree T — Google review
A great place to visit with family. Must try- jaggery jalebi, mixed bhajji. Suitable for children. A big size zula and camel safari is available. You can enjoy 3-4 hours in the vicinity of nature.

The place is Amazing to Visit with family and friends. It’s like a picnic spot. -Food is delicious but not as I was expecting. -Service is good. -Ambiance is good but sitting is not that comfortable as it should be. -Overall experience was good as there are many activities which you can explore.

Grape Embassy & Zatka Misal is a unique open air eatery that serves Misal pav under grapevines. The restaurant is situated in Gangapur road, Makhmalabad area in Nashik and it offers a great dining experience under grapevines. The staff is friendly and the food tastes good but can be improved. The ambiance of the restaurant is awesome and perfect for couples or families looking for a laid-back spot to eat.
We visited Grape Embassy Hotel with family over the weekend, and it was an amazing experience. The property is spacious with different types of seating arrangements and a huge dining area. The ambiance is beautiful and makes it a photo-perfect place to spend time. They also have other entertainment rides, which kids and families really enjoy. The food was excellent—we tried Misal and hot Jalebi, and both tasted absolutely delicious. Overall, a perfect place for family outings with great ambiance, good food, and fun activities. Highly recommended!

Loved the ambience and the taste.... The misal pav was perfectly spiced, bursting with flavor, and served fresh and hot. The natural ambience is the cherry on top — surrounded by greenery, open air, and a peaceful vibe that makes you want to linger longer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for both taste and tranquility !

I recently visited Grape Embassy with my family, and it was an absolute delight! The atmosphere is perfect for families, with a lovely interior that's super photogenic. The cool and green surroundings made it a refreshing escape from the city. ## Must-Try Delights 1. *Misal Pav*: A must-try, it's absolutely delicious! 2. *Dhokla*: Yum! 3. *Hot Jalebi*: A sweet treat that's worth trying. 4. *Tea*: Their tea is the best! ## Tips 1. Arrive early to grab a seat, especially on weekends. 2. Don't miss the adventure rides outside! ## Special Mention The grape creeper plants inside the cafe are a lovely touch. You can see and touch them, adding to the overall ambiance. Overall, Grape Embassy is a great spot for families and friends. Enjoy your visit!

Best place to enjoy Nashik' famous Misal pav. Along with misal their kanda bhaji, jilebi is also awesome and delicious. The atmosphere is asthetic and lovely 😻 They have few adventure ride also. If your in nashik don't forget to enjoy misal at Grape Embassy.

Good vibes only. Taste is good but cant beat other Misal Paav available in Nashik. Jalebi could be better. Just theme for seating arrangement is good. Kids will love this place as there are playing options in weekends. Raptiles cage was closed at time of our visit. Lot of parking place. Not easy to reach, special auto ricksaw/ taxi required.
Ashish V — Google review
The Zatka Misal is full of flavor with just the right amount of spice — perfect if you enjoy a bit of heat in your food. What I loved most was pairing it with their refreshing grape drink, which balanced the spice really well. The place has a simple, casual vibe, and it’s a great spot to grab a tasty meal with friends. If you're a fan of misal or looking to try something a little different, this place is definitely worth checking out!😊
Prajyot K — Google review
We recently visited Grapes Embassy – Zatka Misal, and the experience was quite enjoyable. Known for its spicy misal and vibrant setting, this place lives up to the hype if you’re a misal lover. We ordered their signature Zatka Misal, buttermilk, and jalebi, and the combination was spot on. The misal was rich, flavorful, and had the perfect level of spice—not too overpowering, but definitely with a kick that lingers. It came with a crispy topping and a side of pav, making it a hearty and satisfying meal. The spice level might be intense for some, but if you’re into bold flavors, it hits the mark. The buttermilk was a refreshing complement to the fiery misal—cool, mildly spiced, and served chilled, which really helped balance out the heat. And to end on a sweet note, the jalebi was crisp on the outside, juicy inside, and not overly sweet—just the way I like it. The ambience was clean and energetic, with a mix of families and misal fans. Service was quick, and everything arrived at the table fresh and piping hot. If you’re craving authentic Maharashtrian misal with a bit of a punch, Grapes Embassy – Zatka Misal is definitely worth a try. I’d go back for that misal and jalebi combo anytime.

Recently, my friends and I visited Grape Embassy in Nashik, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience! Nestled amidst lush grape vineyards, Grape Embassy offers a perfect blend of great food, beautiful ambience, and fun activities — truly a hidden gem just outside the city. Location and How to Reach: Grape Embassy is located a little away from Nashik city, near the wine belt area. It's roughly a 20–30 minute drive from Nashik city center, depending on traffic. You can easily reach here by cab, private vehicle, or even a rented two-wheeler if you're exploring the vineyards of Nashik. The drive itself is scenic, with farms and vineyards on both sides. Ambience: The restaurant has been set up on a converted farmland and gives off a warm, cozy, and earthy vibe. They have creatively incorporated live grape vines into the restaurant’s structure, making you feel as if you are sitting inside a grape garden. The seating options are unique and fun — from swings to cots with dining tables to regular tables, there's something for everyone. The place is very spacious, well-ventilated, and has ample fans, so even on warmer days, it remains pleasant and comfortable. Food: Now coming to the highlight — the food! I had heard a lot about Nashik’s world-famous Misal Pav, and after trying it here, I can confidently say the hype is 100% justified. The Misal Pav at Grape Embassy is simply one of the best I’ve ever had. They serve unlimited Kat and Tarri, and the misal itself is rich with matki (moth beans) and farsan. The plate is generously topped with onions, dahi (curd), papad, and even a few grapes on the side — a lovely touch that adds a bit of sweetness to balance the spiciness. The service was quick and the staff very courteous. We also tried their lassi, which was thick, creamy, and refreshing — a perfect complement to the spicy misal. They also offer a variety of fruit shots and fresh juices if you’re looking for lighter options. Activities: What sets Grape Embassy apart is the wide range of activities they offer alongside the food: A play area for kids A small cricket turf Zipline and zipline bicycle Camel and horse rides Other small adventure setups This makes it a fantastic place not just for foodies but also for families and groups of friends who want to spend a relaxed and fun few hours. Overall Experience: Grape Embassy is a must-visit if you are in Nashik. Whether you're a local or a tourist, it offers a perfect combination of excellent food, beautiful setting, and entertainment. I would definitely recommend trying their Misal Pav and spending a few hours enjoying the vineyard vibe. It’s a place where you can eat, relax, play, and click some amazing pictures amidst nature.

Shree Ambika Restaurant-Misal Pav is a popular spot in old Nashik Panchavati, serving up traditional misal pav for over 45 years. The misal here is known for its acrid taste and use of black spices, making it different from the usual fare. Despite the small size of the establishment, it tends to get crowded due to its reputation.
I tried misal for the first time.... The taste is good and its a black masala misal so it has a uniqie taste.... Service is also good.... It's running decades still taste is the same.... Place is bit small so you will have to wait in a queue according to your team size. ..... Rest is all good..... Rate is also normal.... No over charge ..... Good misal......
Rakesh M — Google review
Ambika Misal is one of the oldest and most iconic misal joints in Nashik, serving since 1970! If you are a misal lover, this place is a must-visit. They serve authentic Kala Rassa Misal, which is full of flavor, spice, and tradition. The taste has been consistent over the years. But a heads-up if you are looking for fancy ambience, this might be a red flag for you. It’s a simple, eatery focused purely on taste. Fast service, affordable prices, and that legendary flavor make it totally worth it.
TEJAS G — Google review
This is one of the oldest place selling Misal pav in Nashik! Speciality is Kala masala misal pav (black gravy) This misal is very different from other misals in Nashik and some may or may not like it! It has a burnt smokey taste (a bit spicy too) and also the taste has changed a bit as compared to its original taste few years back! But overall one of the few good misal places in Nashik and recently they have also opened a branch at College road Nashik! But be prepared to stand in queue as this restaurant has very less tables around 4-5 only! This place is located in a congested building so you will have to ask people to locate this restaurant!
Shardul S — Google review
We tried Ambika's famous काळया मसाल्याची मिसळ (Black Spices Misal). Misal was flavourful and not very spicy. The restaurant is small and there is a long standing queue on weekends. Misal is served with 2 large pav (breads), papad, curd along with onion, coriander and lemon. Misal was good in quantity and quality with unique flavours of black spices. However, the Farsan was not that much good in taste. Timings: Monday to Saturday: 8 AM to 4 PM Sunday: 8 AM to 2 PM Pricing: Misal pav: Rs. 100 (with curd and papad) Farsan (Shev Chivda): Rs. 60 Curd: Rs. 10 Papad: Rs. 10 Pav: Rs. 5 Besan Ladu: Rs. 15 Colddrinks: Rs. 20

Tasty Misal with a Twist! I really liked the misal here—it’s made with black masala, which gives it a unique and rich flavor. The spice level was just right, and it had a nice smoky taste that made it different from the usual misal. The tarri was flavorful, and the shev added a good crunch. Pav was fresh and soft, and the curd on the side helped balance the spice. There was a waiting time of about 20–30 minutes, but it was totally worth it. The place gets busy, which shows how popular it is. If you enjoy trying different styles of misal and don’t mind a bit of a wait, this spot is definitely worth a visit! Definitely recommended to visit while you are in Nashik. This is one of most famous and tasty misal in Nashik.

Ambika Misal Pav, Nashik – Review Ambika Misal Pav in Nashik is an okay-okay place. The misal is decent, not extraordinary, but definitely worth a try if you’re in the city. The place itself is small and compact, so don’t expect a very spacious setup. Service is quick, which is a plus, and the pricing is reasonable. Overall, the misal has an average taste – nothing too great, but nothing bad either. A one-time try spot if you’re in Nashik.
Preeti V — Google review
Nice place for food lovers. Misal is good but not the best. Place is congested only 20 people seat at once. No place for parking your vehicles. Place is clean and neat. Service is quick and sharp. Good to visit once for food lovers.

Mr. Kailas Kukkar and their staff Worst experience at Shree Ambika Misal. They served me a completely burnt and disgusting misal yesterday. They could have simply told us that the misal was over, instead of serving us burnt and unfresh misal. After just one bite I told their staff, but instead of accepting their mistake they got defensive and rude. very arrogant One worker even tasted it at the counter and made a face like he wanted to spit it out, that’s how bad it was. Still, they refused to admit it. The owner then started doing drama by pretending to serve the same misal to himself, and one of their staff said "bagh seth pan aata khanaar aahe hi misal" but the Seth never actually ate it. Clearly acting. To top it all, they shamelessly charged me the full amount, including pav I never even touched. and the misal which i just took 1 bite and gave up on it What kind of customer service is this? This place is running only on old name and hype. The quality is pathetic, staff is arrogant, and the owner (Kailas Kukkar) is just pretending instead of fixing his food. i went with high expectations but the experience was extremely disappointing. “If you still want to visit, then go before 1 PM — after that they just serve the same burnt misal kept on the gas, with zero freshness and zero shame.” Ambika Misal = Overrated, unhygienic, and disrespectful to customers. Never going back.

Missal is good. If you go in an off period time you may find good taste. The service was quick.

Food Quality: The misal pav is the highlight, known for its spicy and flavorful rassa. However, some patrons have noted that the misal can be quite spicy, which might not suit everyone's palate. The jalebi served here is also praised for its juiciness and taste. Service: The staff is generally polite and helpful, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. However, during peak hours, the service can be a bit slow due to the crowd. Ambience & Cleanliness: The eatery has a simple and cozy ambiance. While the place is generally clean, there have been mentions of cleanliness and maintenance needing improvement. Overall: Tushar Misal offers a decent misal pav experience in Nashik. It's a good place to visit if you're craving traditional Maharashtrian misal. However, be prepared for a spicy dish and potential wait times during busy periods

Very disappointing. Waste of money. This place has good reputation in Nashik. But they are ruined it for me. Ordered a Misal pav. Salt was less. Pav quality was bad. Asked for Rassa the waiter denied me and told me that I am looking for different tables and not yours. We had to ask 3 times for everything. Pathetic service They need to improve quality of Food and Service Both.
Atharva K — Google review
Food is okay. Service is pathetic Everytime you need to ask for Raasa and tarri. They should keep one tarra and rasse on each table. Less manpower compared to rush.

Since it is hyped placed it is to be crowded over the weekend. Still didn't had to wait. But lot of college crowd just drooling around the place for selfie. Coming to misal had better once in comparison, I think the jalebi there took all the goodness of taste hot and crispy loved it. The peru lassi was okay, just made fancy in earther glass. Overall it is okay, if you going for ambience it is fine but misal ain't that worth.

This place has the best bhakri misal — a must-try! We also had the peru lassi, which was awesome, and my personal favorite, the peru ice cream. It’s a great spot for families and small kids, with a nice area for bird watching too. They even serve peru chaha for the adventurous ones — definitely worth a visit! 🌿✨

“Peruchi vadi” (Peru means Guava & vadi means house) name inspired by Guava farm. Atmosphere : for us we had great atmosphere, due to weather conditions it was rainy along with too sunny so it was calm climate. Hotel is fully surrounded by with small trees and some grep garden , though there was some expansion going on so it is some muddy while walking through place. Place has multiple things to enjoy like Guava ice cream , some fruits plates like guava , cucumber, raw mango slices. Apart from that there is small zoo section which having small birds , hens, fan-throated lizards which you can touch them and take pictures with them as they have dedicated professional team who always takes care and make them human interaction very friendly. It costs around 100 Rs per person which is completely worth. Coming to the misal which is famous for it , taste is really awesome. It doesn’t feel neither so spice nor sweet. It has perfect balance of taste which makes you good , along with misal they serve papad , Dahi and Bhakari as part of options. Apart from that for sides , you can have Alu/kanda bhaji , Lassi , Buttermilk and Guava ice cream. Costs is very budget friendly for 2 people. Service : Coming to the service which is challenging part as we went in weekend timings lunch timing. There is token section which you don’t get easily while entering, you need to take token number and remember them as they don’t have physical token number and once they announce with your given name , you will get your seats. Seating arrangement are as per number of customers, For 2 people you might get to sit on normal table while group of 5-6 or more than that get chance to seat under garden side. That has to be improved else parking space is well enough , you can park 2/3/4 wheelers easily in front of their hotel. I would say even though as service part , you could enjoy with your family / friends in waiting time in games section , bird watch , boating , rain or normal dance which will easily spend 2-3 hrs easily.

“What a delightful outing! From the moment we arrived at Peruchi Wadi nestled in the guava orchards, the atmosphere felt refreshingly different — open-air dining, children playing freely, and a sense of calm that made the experience special. The star of the show was the chulivarchi misal: hot, full of flavour, with a nice balance of spice, and served with fresh pav and papad. The guava lassi & guava-ice-cream for dessert was a creative and delicious touch. The staff were courteous, the parking and seating convenient, and it works perfectly for a relaxed breakfast or brunch with family or friends. Tip: go early on weekends to avoid the crowd. Highly recommended!”

Peruchi Bag, also known as Peruchi Wadi, is highly praised by many customers for its unique combination of delicious food, family-friendly ambiance, and entertaining activities. Most visitors love the authentic Chulivarchi Misal, describing it as both tasty and spicy. The place is especially recommended for families thanks to its bird park, kids’ play area, and multiple attractions like boating, gaming, and swings. Many reviewers highlight the guava ice cream and guava-based treats as standout offerings. The staff is said to be friendly and accommodating—serving hot meals even close to closing time—which adds to the memorable experience. According to travel blogs and food vlogs, it's an ideal picnic spot amidst nature, perfect for a one-day getaway near Nashik and Mumbai, especially during the monsoon season. However, regulars also advise visiting on weekdays to avoid the heavy weekend rush and long wait times. Overall, Peruchi Bag is rated highly for food, ambiance, and its kid-friendly

This restaurant is located in the Anand Wali Gaon, close to the Ashoka Universal School, and has a wide range of international and Indian cuisines on offer. It is also well-known for its delicious sweet delicacies, making it a great choice for visitors with a sweet tooth. The fast food restaurant Nikhara Misal also produces a unique smoke flavour that lingers on the tongue for some time after eating.
The only place to eat with good service at a very nice location, adjacent to collage road
Vishal B — Google review
Upon visiting Nikhara, I anticipated an exceptional culinary experience based on its reputation, yet I found it to be rather overrated. While the restaurant excels in presentation and offers a unique serving style, its culinary offerings fell short of expectations. As a huge fan of misal dishes from Nasik, I found Nikhara's Misal to be merely average in flavor, lacking the distinctive zest I have come to appreciate in this regional specialty. One notable inconvenience was the absence of basic amenities such as a wash basin. Instead, a rudimentary plastic jar for handwashing has been kept outside the restaurant. Moreover, the absence of handwash and tissue papers was notable, particularly considering the restaurant's pricing. The disparity between the service quality and the relatively high price point, notably Rs.100/- for the misal, was evident throughout the dining experience. Additionally, the lack of a formal bill system resulted in an embarrassing situation whereby we were called back to settle outstanding charges due to oversight on the restaurant's part. We had already left the restaurant and it’s pretty insulting to be called back without any fault of yours. Regrettably, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Nikhara to fellow diners, nor do I foresee revisiting the establishment in the future.
Sagar G — Google review
This is not the nikhara restaurant you were looking for! The taste was below decent, with spices/oil gravy overly exaggerated, making it difficult to enjoy the dish! The fact that they didn't even bother to use coriander leaves in their recipe was also a major letdown 😀 it was a mediocre combination of minimum required contents. nothing fancy! Nothing extra, nothing sets it apart other than use of smoke i.e. nikhara as name suggests! Clean environment & Good representation for sure! While I appreciate the use of traditional cooking methods, such as the pot, for representation purposes, it was far from convenient to eat from. Moreover, the restaurant charged extra for a water bottle, even when they did not have sweets to offer with the misal combo as promised. No tissue papers are offered either! I don't recommend it!

Hotel Vihar in Nashik is a must-visit for misal lovers! The misal is spicy, flavorful, and served in generous portions, and you even get butter pav with it. The curd isn’t up to the mark but is okay. The service is good, and the place is simple but comfortable. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Hotel Vihar on Gangapur Road in Nashik offers comfortable and conveniently located accommodation. During my visit, the Misal Pav was a satisfyingly spicy local snack, the Lassi was a refreshing and well-made beverage, and the Mendu Vada was a decent savory bite. For misal enthusiasts, this eatery is a must-visit when in Nashik, offering an authentic experience that shouldn't be missed.
Nice Restaurant. Misal pav is very nice so surely you can eat that. We also took vada but it wasn’t that good. Service was fast..

One of the best places in Nashik to have authentic Misal. They had their first outlet in Satpur MIDC and now they opened 2 more. The misal is delicious and mid-spicy. You can have the tarri if you want to make it more spicy. They have Matki usal with Shev and Pav size is big compared to others. They give fried Papad & Dahi with each Misal. We also tried their Kanda bhaji & Batata bhaji and both were spot on. Taak/Buttermilk was also tasty. Absolutely recommended...
Vivek P — Google review
"The misal pav was a delightful burst of flavors. The spiciness was well-balanced, with a rich and tangy curry (kat) that perfectly complemented the sprouted lentils. The farsan was crispy and fresh, adding a nice crunch to each bite. The pavs were soft and buttered, slightly toasted, making them the perfect companion to the spicy misal. However, the curry could have been a bit thicker for a more authentic texture. The portion size was generous, ensuring a filling meal."

If you are in Nashik and fond of trying out Misal at different places then I would highly recommend you to try Shamravanchi Sunder Misal. I visited this place recently. I didn't try any Misal for last few months so to reignite the Nashikkar in me planned to have Misal last Saturday. We wanted to try Barbeque Misal near Prasad Circle but seems to have closed permanently so we decided to try this place. Coming to point Misal was delicious. Not too spicy and palatable. Location wise it's in old city area so they have parking here but if you are big group please reach early. Ambience is Ok. Not a very big place but definitely a must try. Service was good. We ordered Mix Bhaji and Kharvas which was good too. Overall cost for us was 200 per head. Verdict - Must Visit Pro tip - If you want to extend the experience do go and have Pineapple Sharbat with icecream at Samarth Juice Centre which is nearby 🙂

Age old famous misal pav in Nashik city and one of my favourite misal pav in Nashik, kala (black) masala and red chilli spice level perfectly balance very good quantity value for money and quick service, but I don’t like batatavada it has very strong and raw smell of garlic which also taste bit bitter in taste and garlic raw garlic taste overpowering overall taste but I was not expecting good batata vada in Nashik like Mumbai so it’s fine for me

A must go place for misal lovers. I never liked a misal which is available in mumbai, but the moment i tasted misal here, i became a fan of this place. Paav were very soft and misal was awesome, specially the gravy which they give in a steel mug. If you visit nashik, do visit this place for its misal paav

I went to Shyam Sundar Vishal with lot of expectations. After so many recommendations from my Nashik localite friends, I went there with my family ordered five misal pav. Honestly the service was bad. First they give me pav, after 4 -5 minutes they gave misal, consists of thick shev and matki.(Sprouts). I waited for almost 10 minutes for curry o/sample /Tarri to arrive at my table. There was nothing special in overall taste I found it very very ordinary. I spend rs 550 for 5 misal pav. For buttermilk and tea rs 80 were spent. Over all bill was rs 620. I will say this place is not worth the hype at all. While serving misal, waiter spilled it over the table. Not a very clean show by so called famous misal shop in Nashik. Extremely disappointed.

There are two "Barbeque Missal" in Nasik. This one is near Vidya vikas circle, Gangapur road. The ambience is good. The food is ok. The Rassa provided to us was not hot. The taste was also ok. Nothing as great as its unique name. It was an ok and not so good experience for me.
Vivek S — Google review
Tried this barbeque misal recently and loved it to the core. Four types of misal are served kolhapuri, puneri, nashik, and green. Kolhapuri and nashik rassa tasted amazing. Spicy and flavourful just the way I like it that too with unlimited pav. Ambience is lovely too. Apart from misal, you'll get other items too like sandwiches, pizza. Jain misal is available too.
Sarthak S — Google review
This is not barbecue misal outlet locals are using it under their name.No taste at all they will only give unlimited paav and very less farzan so that you have to take farzan and bhaji separately.Do not visit.
Virajc C — Google review
First of all Hygiene was zerooo… Like what and whom you are serving it was totally disgusting to sat on uncleaned tables that also in the covid time, with zero respect of customers…. Staff is so chilled they will take whatever extra time possible to serve and no appropriate response from the counter person when I asked that Rassas are not warm enough to eat. Also about the Missal.. there is no such thing called Barbecue its just regular 4 extra spicy rassas served that also cold not hot enough to eat, Matki/ussal was like 1table spoon in the bowl filled with sev. So will recommend not to visit for sure!!
Akshay L — Google review
The place is having barbeque concept. Having unlimited misal at 120rs offering 4 misal curry i.e puneri(chatpati),kolhapuri(spicy),nashik(black masala) etc .along with poha, aloo etc . Ambiance was good and having swings as chair in some part . Only issue was taste, was really disappointed and too spicy despite opting puneri one also they served cold misal and offered only want which I want ,may be because I visited bit late . Verdict Not sure, will try once again on prime time .

If you're a spice enthusiast, Anna Misal in Nashik is an absolute must-visit! Renowned for its incredibly flavorful misal pav, this eatery serves up a delightful experience that will tantalize your taste buds. The star of the show is undoubtedly the tarri, celebrated for its perfect blend of spices that keeps patrons coming back for more.
One of my favourite Misal in Nashik 😍😍.. Unique Taste and having it from almost more than 9 years... Quality is very well maintained 🤟.. Being a Misal Fan Whenever I visit Nashik if I don't eat misal at this place, it's like major missing for me.. Great place and must try..
Yogesh B — Google review
Undoubtedly best Misal i have tasted in Nashik till now .. and i have covered some well known ones in town .. Tarri has a slight spicy zing which goes well with the Misal's taste .. i have taken only the spoonful tarri which was good enough to add the necessary zing to overall dish .. paapad was tasty .. misal portion was good for one person .. sitting arrangement was comfirtable.. the joint is not posh but assures you the taste which should be the overall point .. rabdi was good and only moderately sweet .. a must visit place if you are misal paav lover

If you like spicy, then you must visit this place. Misal offered over this place is very spicy and it tastes great. It is famous among the college students, and you can see that crowd at that place. This place is at the one of the end of Ramavadi bridge. The service won’t disappoint you as the staff over is very passionate about their work and they love to see cheerful faces of their customers. It is fairly crowded place. If you visit, then you must try this misal with tari.

Loved the tastes and services. The misal is amazing it's taste amazing must try with rabdi combination 🖤. Service is very nice good people. Need to update the interior and sitting , still you can ignore it for taste

Average misal Misal quality and taste is average. Little but spicy than other misal pav. Papad was very bad. Seems like they are using old used oil. Rabadi was good and tasty.
Kunal K — Google review
Spicy misal with average pricing of Rs70.. Makes it good deal for any foodie who want to eat spicy misal in Nashik..taste is Ok
Suhas — Google review
Anna Misal Ek number Misal... It's medium spicy. If you want spicy misal you ask for it. They give seperate tarri rassa and plain rassa. Misal plate contains sprouted moth beans, sev, 2 pav, curd, chopped onion and a slice of lemon. Papad is also served but it was not so tasty. It was too salty. Misal is very tasty. They also serve lassi, buttermilk, solkadhi rabdi. It's very crowded Misal joint. We need to wait for some time on weekends. Service is prompt. Total value for money. Must try place for all Misal Pav lovers.

Nestled in the bustling College Street of Nashik, Shree Krishna Misal Pav is a beloved culinary gem that has been delighting locals and visitors alike for decades. This charming eatery draws in a diverse crowd, from students to teachers, thanks to its mouthwatering misal pav and inviting atmosphere. The standout feature here is the unique black *Rassa*, which sets it apart from other misals typically served with a red broth.
Krishna Misal delivers big on flavor! Their misal pav is a must-try, and the pav bhaji Absolutely delicious. I recently ordered it for a party, and my guests raved about it. Perfect for events, and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. Highly recommended!

Too good in taste...when misal better in Taste then no matter how small the place is, ... And rate is also on cheaper side... Worth every penny.... Even parcel misal quantity is good... If you take 1 parcel misal, then easily 2 people can have it.... Misal Pav at rs 60 Tarri Poha at rs 25

Shree Krishna Vijay Misal serves one of the tasties Misals in the city. Unlike other Misals, that have a red *Rassa*, this Misls has got a nice, black *Rassa*. But sometimes on weekends or public holidays, you might have to wait for a healthy amount of time, to get a table.

Good misal pav. With good friendly service. Visit if you are fond of misal pav.
Umesh C — Google review
We had travelled to Nashik from Vadodara, Gujarat, and a friend had asked us to try the local cuisine, which was delicious. I especially enjoyed the Misal Bhakhari with Papad and hot tea. We eat Misal Pav in Vadodara, but here we try Misal Bhakari. It was very tasty. Bhakari is a Bajara Roti. We Gujaratis call it Bajara Rotla, but the locals call it Bhakhari. But the combination is incredible. I enjoyed the test of Misal Bhakhari very much. So, I ask that all of my friends who visit Nashik come here at least once and try Misal Bhakari. The owner is friendly and helpful, and the facility is spotless and of high quality.

Decent place with decent prices. Must try is mung bhajji and misal pav (they will serve papad dahi also with misal pav and don't forget to ask for tarri if you want spicy misal).

Reasonably priced good quality food (morning/evening nashta items) are served here in this highway service road facing small restaurant. Cleanliness is there, and the kitchen is viewable from the seating area. Hence, we can monitor hygiene maintenance in the kitchen. Moong Bhaji taste was beyond excellent. Wet moongs were grinded fresh after we ordered and prepared hot hot bhaji in front of our eyes.

Nestled on the outskirts of Nashik, Owara Theme Restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience that beautifully marries Indian and Continental cuisines. This charming eatery is particularly renowned for its unique take on Missal Pav, served in traditional clay tableware that enhances its smoky flavor with coal-infused sprouts. The restaurant's ambiance is equally captivating, adorned with vibrant Warli art that adds a cultural touch to your dining experience.
Really loved the way they served. A lot of waiting though. Nice utilization of open area space. Awesome interior. Above all the Missal pav was amazing with a variety of spices but not spicy, the way I like! ♥

I still remember the hype which was created when the restaurant was new but the faster it became famous, equally fast the popularity declined. They missed a golden opportunity to capitalize. Nevertheless, they are coming back with other innovative ideas to pounce back. The 'Missal' offered here is totally unique. The location is on the outskirts of the city and hence cool and pleasant ambience. The walls of the restaurant are painted in 'Warli' art and highly attractive. Even the interiors are well built and they have given, high importance to aesthetics. A must visit place!!

This place was great with lots of greenery, big trees, plantatrion etc. Misal taste was good (could have been better). The Manager over there Mr. Jagtap is an elder person but his energy and enthusiasm to explain and to entertain was great. There were some activities and play area for kids as well. They had tractor ride and boat ride which was extra chargeable. Overall great place to enjoy and click great pics and can spend arnd 2 hours there..
