South Indian restaurant

Fast food restaurant
Hotel Rama Krishna is a well-known and highly regarded establishment in Lonavala, conveniently situated on the Mumbai-Pune Highway. With over four decades of experience, this restaurant has been serving top-quality food to satisfy customers' taste buds and provide them with a delightful dining experience. Offering a wide range of North and South Indian cuisines, fast food, beverages, and desserts, it caters to families looking for a casual dining experience.
Had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was excellent — full of flavor and freshly prepared. Prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality offered. The service was good and the staff was polite and attentive. Plus, it’s conveniently located right in the main market, making it easy to find. Definitely worth a visit!
Gaurav S — Google review
If you're looking for a budget-friendly stay, this hotel is a reasonable choice. While the accommodation is not the most luxurious or top-tier compared to other options in the area, it covers the basics well enough for a short or economical stay. Rooms are simple and functional, though there’s room for improvement in terms of maintenance and amenities. However, what really makes this place stand out is its food – the quality, taste, and variety are among the best in the nearby area. Whether it’s a quick snack or a full meal, the kitchen here consistently delivers excellent dishes, and many locals even visit just for the food. If you’re someone who prioritizes great food on a budget, this hotel strikes the right balance. Overall, not the top choice for comfort or luxury, but perfect for travelers who want good food and a reasonable stay at a fair price.
Mayank P — Google review
We ordered a cheese dosa, but the cheese used didn’t seem authentic—it tasted like a low-quality substitute. The pav bhaji was equally underwhelming; the pav was fried in what appeared to be local oil instead of butter, which affected the overall flavor. Unfortunately, the quality of food did not meet expectations. I would not recommend this restaurant based on our experience.
Mayuri D — Google review
⭐ 1/5 — Recommendation: Please think twice before choosing this hotel. Extremely Disappointing Experience & Zero Hospitality For anyone considering this place: please rethink your choice before wasting your time and expecting decent service. There are many better restaurants that truly value their customers—unfortunately, this one does not. I recently visited Hotel Rama Krishna with my family (a group of seven), and the experience was shockingly disappointing from the moment we walked in. Despite the staff asking us to come inside, we were not given a proper seat. Instead, they made us shift from one place to another three to four times, completely ignoring our comfort and convenience. Things got even worse when we politely asked the waiter to take our order once we finally got a table. Not only did he ignore us, but he also behaved rudely. When we said that if the order wouldn’t be taken, we would prefer to leave, the waiter aggressively opened the door and asked us to go—an attitude that was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. The level of arrogance and lack of basic hospitality we experienced was unbelievable. No courtesy, no empathy, and certainly no service standard that any family would expect when visiting a restaurant. For anyone considering this place: please rethink your choice before wasting your time and expecting decent service. There are many better restaurants that truly value their customers—unfortunately, this one does not.
Rahul G — Google review
Rooms are worth the price, room service is very fast and top notch. South indian food is the best here, rest of the food is a bit above average, sandwich was a disaster but chicken biryani was good. Check in check out timings are really convenient for customers, parking is well situated. The only problem is that its on the main road of lonavala city so the traffic is too much of a hectic, apart from that everything was superb.
Aamod R — Google review
The food here is absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was full of flavor. We tried pav bhaji, paneer, and veg biryani — all of them were fresh, well-prepared, and served in good quantity with great quality. The quick service made the experience even better. Truly one of the best places in Lonavala for both breakfast and main meals. Highly recommended!
Shridhar H — Google review
This is our go to place for lunch and dinner in lonavala. The food is good. Quality and quantity both are awesome. Location is perfect. It's on the main road and main square of Lonavala. Service is also very fast and good.
Gaurav S — Google review
I visited Hotel Rama Krishna with my family, and the experience was extremely poor. Even after inviting us inside, the staff made us change seats 3–4 times with no concern for our comfort. When we politely asked the waiter to take our order, he ignored us and behaved rudely. When we said we would leave if no one attended us, he opened the door and asked us to go—a very disrespectful and unprofessional attitude. There was no hospitality, no courtesy, and no basic service. Many other restaurants treat their customers far better. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Parsi restaurant
Dhaba
Punjabi restaurant
Parsi Dhaba is a charming restaurant located in Lonavala, offering an authentic taste of Parsi cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rustic dining space is adorned with photographs, vintage artifacts, and old paintings that capture the essence of Parsi culture. Guests can choose to dine indoors or alfresco while enjoying the tranquility of Lonavala's natural beauty.
Super chill restaurant inside della adventures. Went here with few close friends for dinner and wasnt disappointed. The menu is short and nice, the service is great. They also serve hookah, which i am not a fan of but then saw everyone smoking there. They have outdoor (garden) seating and inside too. We tried the parsi menu which was great and some alcohol, had really great time here. We were lucky enough to walk around and chill with the dogs there and also the horses. Wonderful experience, Will definitely recommend it to group heading out with family and friends.
Pradyumna — Google review
It's located inside Della adventure park. Food is very great! The taste is on point and not so spicy. The staff is very courteous, they suggested us a few nice dishes. The ambience is nice. The menu chart is not so big but whatever is there it's a good combination of parsi and north India food. Prices are high as it's located inside a 5 star property.
Shraddha P — Google review
The location is quite beautiful inside Della Adventure Park. Cozy vibes with good music playing. We ordered a mocktail followed by a soup. Then the chicken biryani which was well prepared and enough for 2-3 people. The kids went for a plain non spicy dal and rice. For the dessert we ordered a chocolate mousse which was very tasty and chocolaty (and very heavy )). The chef came out to interact with us asking for any suggestions which was good. The service was very quick. Overall a good place for dinner. And It is more romantic if you seat outside.
RAVISH D — Google review
this is one of those overrated places... What we observed is... 1. The food has arrived but no one is there to serve. We had to call and ask. 2. Rotis were not done as per our instructions. Not sure what waiter was writing when we were telling our orders. 3. We had coupons with 50₹ extra than our total bill. They denied to give change. 4. We didn't get why other reviews are saying food is delicious. But for us it was just ordinary. 5. There seems to be biased way of providing service since they were providing prompt service to large group and families than couple.
Bruce W — Google review
Ms. Saraswati Deori and Mr. Roshan served us. They suggested us starters and main course in parsi cuisine as per our taste. Really enjoyed the food and service was quick. The live music felt like someone had played youtube acoustic covers, it was so melidious.

This charming eatery is designed with a rustic village theme and features vibrant outdoor seating adorned with pagodas, creating a picturesque atmosphere. Renowned for its delectable Dhaba-style cuisine, guests can indulge in an array of traditional dishes like Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, and sweet treats such as Jalebi with Rabdi.
A wonderful village-themed resort offering a perfect blend of entertainment, comfort, and authentic ambience. The restaurant serves delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian food with special attractions like Delhi Jalebiwala and Turkish ice cream. Seating arrangements are thoughtfully designed as per group size, ensuring comfort and privacy. Overall, an excellent destination for families and groups looking for a refreshing and enjoyable outing.
Rahul P — Google review
Kinara Village Dhaba offers an above-average experience that feels like a true getaway. Our single night stay was very comfortable, featuring a cozy bed and all the necessary toiletries. The main restaurant experience was fantastic; the food is very good, making the cost feel justified for the quality. What truly elevates Kinara is its unique offerings and incredible ambiance. The great musical evening with soulful ghazals was a perfect highlight, coupled with fun discoveries like the astrology session and delicious Turkish ice cream. While the Tandoori Chai is very costly and not that great taste, breakfast needs serious improvement, the overall quality, comfortable stay, and unforgettable evening entertainment make Kinara Village Dhaba a highly recommended spot for a charming and enjoyable retreat.

> Had an awesome experience at Kinara Village Hotel! The atmosphere was amazing and perfect for celebrating a birthday. The food was really tasty, and the live singing made the evening even more special. We had such a great time — highly recommend this place for celebrations and good vibes! Would you like me to make it sound more casual (like for Google Maps) or professional (like for TripAdvisor)?

Good place to visit for a short lunch. Have multiple kids activities which are super playful. Kids safety is also considered. They have camel and horse ride as well. Ample amount of parking. Kids play area and the searing area is quite spacious and good. Food is a bit on the spicier side but overall a good visit. I recommend a one time visit to the place.
Aakash P — Google review
Such a fun themed style restaurant. With so many seating options to choose from, it will definitely get an argument going within the group. We stepped in for a quick bite but I wish it was for more. One thing I must say is that the service was off the roof. They really that their customer experience as a priority. The food also is bang on for whatever we got. It has to be in the list of places to visit while in town
George J — Google review
Kinara Village Dhaba is more than just a place to eat — it’s a full entertainment spot! They have so many fun activities like the bull ride, bubble house, gladiator games, Mickey Mouse, toy train, Segway and even small kids’ cars. The new 10D action movie was an amazing experience! Kids and families will also love the Turkish ice cream and the shopping stalls like the imitation jewellery shop and toy shop. The staff coordinating the activities were very helpful and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. A perfect place for food, fun, and family time!" Must visit place in lonavala one of the gem of lonavala

Ordered the chicken scaloppini and didn’t know that will be such an adventure. I asked them to replace the herbs rice with grilled vegetables, if possible, and they brought the dish without mashed potatoes. They said it was either mashed potatoes or vegetables. Cool, but you could have told me that when I ordered, maybe I would have chosen to keep the potatoes. But then the vegetables were cooked with dairy products when I clearly said I can only have my dish cooked with oil. I sent the vegetables back and asked for mashed potatoes cooked without any dairy products. They brought the mashed potatoes cooked with cream. Are you guys dumb?! Honestly now… 🙄 Luckily the chicken tasted good (although it was so so so salty), so I didn’t go to bed hungry. The cocktails are bad too, asked my cosmopolitan to be changed and done properly and they just sweetened it and brought it back as tasteless. Please see how Westin does it, theirs is delicious!

I had an absolutely wonderful breakfast experience at Café 24, Della Resort in Lonavala, crafted by Chef Rajendra Singh and his amazing team. From the moment I walked in, the warm hospitality and attention to detail stood out. The presentation, flavour's, and freshness of every dish were simply outstanding perfectly balanced and beautifully plated. It’s rare to find a place that combines such culinary finesse with impeccable service. Chef Rajendra Singh’s passion for food truly reflects in every bite, and his team’s dedication makes the experience even more memorable. If you’re in Lonavala and want a breakfast that’s both luxurious and heartwarming, Café 24 at Della Adventure and Resort is the place to be. Not too bad, not too great. Better than Cafe 24 and the overall Della experience. The waiter who took our order seemed to be a beginner, he didn’t know any details about the dishes, he had to go back and ask the chef about everything, which is unusual for a 5 star resort. 🤷🏻‍♀️ My friends said the salmon was one of the best they had. My pizza was alright, the bacon was strangely red and looked not that appetising compared to what I am used to, but it seems to look that in all India, not just here. Also tried their chocolate cigars, they only serve two for the price, the inside is not great, not awful and the outer chocolate layer tastes like nothing at all. It requires some special skills to make chocolate tasteless, so congrats to the chef. 😆

This is the most misogynistic and sexist place I’ve ever seen. The urinals are in front of glass behind which, in front of every urinal, a female mannequin is standing. The washroom reads several “rules of men” which itself are extremely sexist and SO NOT OK. I will never come here again nor want to support their business in any form or manner - PLEASE REFRAIN FROM COMING HERE

Had an amazing lunch! Great ambience and fantastic service from Ruthi and Rohit. Special thanks to Ruthi — she was excellent and even took care of our 14-month-old, who had a great time with her. Golden Vada Pav, located on NH4 along the Pune-Mumbai highway, is a must-visit spot for anyone traveling to Lonavala. This 60-year-old eatery is known for serving the best vada pav in the area, with a special mention of their Jain (garlic-free) version that attracts long queues of eager customers. In addition to their signature vada pav, they also offer delicious moong dal bhaji and samosas.
Golden Vada Pav, Lonavala is a must-visit spot for every street food lover! 💛 Crispy on the outside, soft and spicy on the inside – their vada pav lives up to the hype. The chutneys are flavorful, the pav is always fresh, and the spice level hits just right 🌶️ Perfect for a quick bite during a Lonavala trip – it’s affordable, filling, and full of that authentic Mumbai street food taste. No fancy setup, just good ol’ flavor and satisfaction in every bite. Simple, legendary, and golden indeed! 💥
Saniya P — Google review
Well it didn’t live up to the hype for me—it’s just like any other Vada Pav you’d find elsewhere. I suppose the popularity stems from the fact that the items are always served hot. The owner, however, is a very courteous and welcoming individual. (While food is ultimately judged by taste, it’s important to remember that taste can always be subjective,)
Parag — Google review
During my recent visit to Lonavala, I had the chance to stop by Golden Vada Pav, and I must say, it was one of the highlights of my trip. If you’re a street food lover, this place is an absolute must-visit! The vada pav here is truly something special — fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor. The crispy outer layer of the vada combined with the soft pav, lightly toasted in butter, creates a perfect texture. What truly elevates the taste is their spicy green chilli chutney — it’s bold, fiery, and adds a kick that lingers just right. Pairing it with a cold buttermilk (chaas) made for the perfect combo. The buttermilk balances the spice and refreshes you, especially in the Lonavala weather. Besides the iconic vada pav, I’d also recommend trying their moong bhajiya. They were crunchy, well-seasoned, and not at all oily — just how good bhajiya should be. And if you’re looking for something lighter, their dhokla is another great option — soft, fluffy, and mildly sweet, served with green chutney that adds just the right tang. The place itself is simple but clean, and the service was quick despite the crowd. It’s clearly a local favorite, and for good reason. Whether you're passing through Lonavala or staying for a weekend getaway, make sure you stop by Golden Vada Pav. It’s a true gem that delivers authentic taste with every bite. Final verdict – Affordable, tasty, and satisfying street food experience. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Maharashtrian flavors!
Rakesh K — Google review
One of the best places to enjoy vada pav! We tried the vada pav and moong bhaji, and both were absolutely delicious. Because of the high demand, food is freshly prepared and served right in front of you. The place is small and doesn’t have a dining facility, so you’ll have to stand and eat. Unlike the usual vada pav served with a fried chilli, here you get a green chutney that’s spicier and tastier. Apart from vada pav, they also serve samosa, kachori, gulab jamun, and other bakery items. If you’re in Lonavala and craving authentic street-style snacks, this spot is a must-try.
Venkat — Google review
One of the best Vada Pav in Lonavala!!! It's situated right the middle of Lonavala market. You have to actually Quee to get your hands on this mouth watering Vada Pav. The speciality of this is the green 'thecha' (green chutney) you get along with this. They also offer Samosa, Moong Dal Bhajiya and Kachori. You must try next time you are in Lonavala.
Sanket S — Google review
Best place to have wada pav and mung dal bhajiya and they are famous for their green chutney (thecha types).
Akassh A — Google review
The Vada pav was good but not so flavourful and the crunch was missing. Have had far more tastier Vada pav- so 3 star for vada pav. The samosa was good , crispy and also melt in the mouth type which was great but potato filling was average- so 4 star for samosa. The jalebi was pathetic and tasted weird and stinked. It was horrible - wish I could give -2 (negative stars). We had to throw it away. Please do not eat jalebi from here. Can’t say about other items as I have tried. I guess it was the owner who was taking the payments - he had a sarcastic weird behaviour which was very disappointing. He sounded rude and made fun of when I had a doubt about extra chutney and their packaging. Will not recommend this place. It is simply hyped.

Nestled atop a hill in Lonavala, Utopia Dine High is a charming outdoor restaurant that invites you to indulge in traditional dishes and refreshing alcoholic beverages under its rustic wooden roof. This multicuisine gem not only boasts an inviting atmosphere but also offers stunning views of the surrounding landscapes, making it perfect for family dinners or special celebrations.
We recently visited this place and turned out so amazing. All dishes we ordered was top notch. Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere .Staff was also cooperative, Thank u HarishKumar for great service.

Decent place, good for Indian food, has barely any continental stuff. Plenty of parking. Busy road outside, noisy with honks.
Nikhil R — Google review
Utopia offers a truly pleasant dining environment. The ambience is very, very good, especially at night, creating a wonderful setting for a meal. Its located right on the main road and has a super huge parking space, which is a massive plus for any traveler. The staff were nice and attentive, and while they seemed a bit short-staffed, the low crowd when we were there meant service was smooth. We tried several dishes - Cream of Brocolli Almond Soup, Bhatti Paneer Lababdar, Cheese Garlic Naan and Plain Tandoori Roti. We started with the Cream of Broccoli Almond Soup, which was served in a unique cup-like utensil which felt nice as was different than the general soup bowls. But unfortunately felt too watery and had a distracting, unappealing smell, even if the taste was passable. The Bhatti Paneer Lababdar was just average and the quantity was notably small—not sufficient for both my wife and me, especially after the light soup. I suspect this might have been due to our Swiggy DINEOUT booking, contrasting with reviews that praised their large portions. The Cheese Garlic Naan was tremendous, and the Plain Tandoori Roti was also quite good. While they offer both bottled and regular water, some amenities were missing (no wet wipes or finger bowls, though a wash basin is available). A minor inconvenience is that the entry is not wheelchair-friendly, featuring about 5-6 stairs. Finally, the menu layout felt unnecessarily complex. Having appetizers, main courses, cuisines (Tandoor, Oriental, Continental, Mughal, etc), and diets (Veg, Non-Veg) fragmented across multiple pages made ordering cumbersome. Grouping all appetizers together, then all main courses, etc., regardless of cuisine, would greatly simplify the selection process. Overall, Utopia is a good place with a great atmosphere and excellent parking, but improvements in soup consistency, portion size (maybe for promotional bookings), and menu structure would easily make it a 5-star destination.

Dhabas are popular roadside eateries that offer a variety of traditional Indian dishes such as curry, soup, salads, and Chinese options. In the picturesque Lonavala and Khandala area, there are several prominent dhabas worth visiting for their South Indian delicacies and fine dining experiences. These establishments serve hot and delicious dishes like butter chicken, dal makhani, buttery naans, and kebabs.
Near Lonavala market ,situated in Triose mall this is a restaurant with really good ambience. The staff is good and cooperative . The food quality is very nice. The plates and glass takes you back to old Dhaba visiting Lonavala you must try food here
Chandrashekhar B — Google review
Visited this dhaba-style restaurant in Lonavala and had a good experience overall. The non-veg food was flavorful and well-prepared — I tried a few chicken dishes and was quite satisfied with the taste and quality. The ambiance gives off a traditional, rustic vibe which adds to the charm of the place. However, the prices are on the higher side for a dhaba, especially when compared to typical roadside eateries. Service takes about 25 to 30 minutes, which is mentioned on the menu, so plan accordingly. Worth a visit if you're in the area and craving some hearty North Indian non-veg fare.
Sarbjeet S — Google review
Nestled comfortably with a cozy and inviting atmosphere, DHABA delivers a delightful culinary experience rooted in traditional Indian flavors, with a few interesting twists. From the moment you step in, the ambience sets a warm and rustic tone, echoing the charm of a classic roadside dhaba but with the comfort of a sit-down dining experience. Wooden furnishings, ambient lighting, and soft traditional music in the background make it a perfect spot for family gatherings, casual dinners, or even a relaxed lunch outing. One of the most striking aspects of DHABA is its impressively extensive menu. Whether you're a vegetarian, non-vegetarian, or simply someone who enjoys a wide range of dishes, this place caters to all tastes. The variety begins right from the shorba and soup sections. The Tomato Dhaniya and Sabzi Pudina shorbas are fresh and comforting, while the Chicken Yakhani offers a rich, hearty depth that's especially welcome on a chilly day. Their soups offer even more range, including popular Indo-Chinese options like Hot and Sour and Sweet Corn, both available in vegetarian and chicken variants, as well as Cream of Vegetable and Cream of Chicken for those who prefer a more classic, creamy flavor. To kickstart the meal, the salad and papad section has some familiar and crunchy accompaniments like masala peanuts and masala papad, which pair nicely with a cold drink or even while you’re deciding your main course. The Green Salad is crisp and simple, balancing out the richness of the heavier dishes. Starters at DHABA deserve special mention. The Bharwan Aloo is beautifully spiced and stuffed, with a perfect balance of crunch and tenderness. Paneer lovers have plenty of choices, and there are equally tempting non-vegetarian starters as well. Everything is served hot and well-plated, making the wait — which admittedly can be a bit longer than expected — a little more bearable. The main course menu is a showcase of North Indian favorites and beyond. Vegetarian options include classics like Malai Kofta, Chana Masala, and various Paneer preparations, each crafted with a strong hand in spices and rich gravies. For meat lovers, Butter Chicken is a must-try — creamy, tangy, and cooked to perfection. Other standouts include Murg Kadai, Chicken Masala, and Saag Murgh, all of which are deeply flavorful and generously portioned. The Egg Curry and Egg Bhurji are simple but satisfying choices for those looking for lighter fare. Dal options are limited to two — Yellow Dal Tadka and Dal Bukhara — but both are well-executed, with the Dal Bukhara offering that signature creamy, slow-cooked texture that’s hard to resist. Accompaniments like Tandoori Roti, Rumali Roti, Makkai ki Roti, and Aloo Kulcha offer variety and come out fresh and fluffy, perfect for soaking up those rich gravies. The thali options are well thought-out, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions served with Jal Jeera or Masala Chaas, offering a complete, satisfying meal that covers all bases. If you're in the mood for rice or noodles, DHABA has a full spread — from Sabzi Biryani and Paneer Tikka Biryani to Chicken Tikka Biryani and Chicken Triple Schezwan Fried Rice. There’s even pasta for those who enjoy a fusion twist. Desserts bring the meal to a sweet close. Gulab Jamun served with ice cream is indulgent, and the Chocolate Brownie and Chocolate Truffle are rich, satisfying options for chocolate lovers. Black Forest Cake is also available and rounds off the experience with a nostalgic touch. While the service can be a bit slow, it’s not enough to detract from the overall quality and taste of the food. The staff is courteous and attentive, and you can tell that the focus is on ensuring the food is served fresh and made with care. All in all, DHABA is a great spot for anyone looking to indulge in a flavorful, diverse meal in a pleasant setting. With a few improvements in service speed, it has the potential to become a go-to favorite for many.

A very nice dining place (especially if you’re staying in Triose). The masala chaas non-veg thali is a must try (chicken tastes very good, rice and chole is also nice). Prices are slightly on the higher side but definitely worth a try. The ambience is great. They give a finger bowl for cleaning hands after food. Overall a wonderful experience.

Waiting time was 2 hours after we gave the order. There was a theatre nearby, you can order the food and come in interval to pick it. Overcharged for every item and taste is average Atmosphere is great. If you are waiting for something, you can come and wait here

The staff is okay but I found the quality/quantity of food to be below par. Not worth visiting in my opinion Edit: We were NOT asked increase the order quantity of the order, on the contrary when we asked if the quantity was enough your employee nodded (yes). Moreover, the portion is definitely not more than what other restaurants serve. Respectfully, this isn't the only restaurant we been to.

A special mention to Nirmala Ma’am for her warm hospitality and constant attention she truly made our visit memorable. Everything was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lonavala!
Chirag O — Google review
I recently visited PNF, based on glowing Google reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The dining experience was particularly underwhelming. The Cream of Mushroom soup was a disaster—it had an unpleasant smell of used oil that was truly off-putting. For starters, we ordered veg dumplings in soy sauce, expecting traditional dumplings. To our surprise, we were served what appeared to be Veg Manchurian. When we questioned the staff, they insisted it was dumplings, which left us totally shocked and confused. On a positive note, the Singaporean Noodles we ordered later were quite good. The taste was satisfying, and the portion size was ample. Despite these issues, I believe something might have been off on that particular day, as the positive reviews and beautiful ambiance suggest potential for a better experience. Hopefully, the management addresses these concerns to improve their otherwise promising establishment.

Cooper's Fudge And Chikkis is a renowned shop in Lonavala, known for its iconic chocolate walnut fudge that has been a favorite for 85 years. The secret recipe, passed down through generations, is now in the hands of Rashna Phiroze Irani and will eventually be inherited by her daughter Marzia. While there are no plans for expansion, this delightful shop near Lonavala railway station is a must-visit.
Cooper’s – A Sweet Stop Worth Exploring 🍫 If you’ve got a sweet tooth, Cooper’s is one place you can’t miss! Known for having some of the best fudge around, this place also offers a wide variety of bakery treats that look as tempting as they taste. Just a heads-up though — no tastings allowed, so be ready to take a chance and buy to try! It does get pretty crowded, but that just tells you how popular it is. Perfect for fudge lovers and bakery enthusiasts alike!

Sumptuous food to choose from a variety of options. The quantity and quality both are bang on. The ambience is gracious and warming, we chose to sit in open terrace to add the part of nature to it. The fudge has been outstanding for decades. The newly opened restaurant is beautiful. We sat on a corner table at the back where the fogs running down the hill with rains and the view is superb. The food was tasty and the cocktails were refreshing. Very good for a Sunday brunch. The restaurant gets overwhelming with people on Sunday so plan an early brunch or late lunch incase you dont like to wait.

This place is the saviour for us. We has visited the lonavala and on Wednesday we were planned to buy the fudge from the old shop where it was but on Wednesday it was closed but due to this new place which is open all 7 days which is big advantage for all the customers who come to visit the lonavala and try to buy one for them. About the fudge it was as perfect as always. I always buy walnut fudge which is the hero product of the cooper. Had same taste which was it used to be. Must visit the place as they have added more catagories in it.

Annapurna Pure Veg in Lonavala is a spacious restaurant that offers dedicated sections for South Indian, North Indian, and Chinese cuisines. This setup is convenient if you’re visiting with a group that has varied tastes. South Indian: The South Indian fare here is decent but lacks authenticity. Dishes like Dada Dosa (3.5/5) and Rava Sada (3.5/5) are passable, while the Onion Tomato Uttapam (3/5) falls a bit flat in flavor. It's not the place for hardcore South Indian food lovers, but it’s fine for a quick fix. Chinese: The Chinese section is a mixed bag. Items like Fried Rice (3.5/5) are reasonably good, but overall the food is quite oily. The Paneer 65 (3.5/5) in particular feels heavy due to excess oil. Other Details: Ambience: Spacious with sufficient seating, which is a plus for families and larger groups. Parking: Ample space for both bikes and cars. Wait Time: Mornings on weekends can get busy, so plan ahead. Pricing: Reasonable, not overpriced. Overall Rating: 3.5/5 Not a bad option for a vegetarian meal stop in Lonavala, especially if you’re not too particular about authenticity or oil content. Great for casual dining with decent variety and space.

Being a vegetarian restaurant, the management is not cooperative, they are charging very huge amount on extra curries for no reason. And when asked to change credit card they say they don't accept. Is this to avoid normal customers ? It is too expensive for a normal person. Pls don't visit this place if you are food lover. No extras served

Hotel Chandralok’s Thali restaurant is one of the popular spots in Lonavala to enjoy a wholesome traditional meal. Food & Variety: The thali had a good variety of dishes, similar to a Rajdhani or a Maharaja Bhog. The quality of the food was good – fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. From the farsan to the curries, everything was served generously and tasted authentic. Ambience: The ambience of the restaurant is decent and comfortable, though not the best. It’s more functional than stylish, but clean and family-friendly. Service: The staff was cordial and attentive, ensuring that the plates were filled quickly and service was prompt. However, the downside was that they kept interrupting to ask what more we wanted, which made it difficult to enjoy the meal at a relaxed pace. It felt a bit rushed, and we couldn’t sit back and savor the food as much as we would have liked. Final Verdict: Overall, a great place for a hearty thali meal with good variety and quality food. If the service style could be adjusted to allow guests a bit more time and space to enjoy the experience, it would be near perfect.

Getting here in the afternoon is tricky as the roads are narrow and it is opposite the ST stand. The hotel has nice ambience. The service is prompt and attentive. Their Undhiyo, Papad churi, dahi wada and Gujarati dishes are great. At 675 per thali I think this is one of the most expenaive thali’s in Lonavala. But the service and food quality are worth a visit once.

The garden boasts charming strawberry-themed decor and an expansive area dedicated to showcasing and selling Mapro products such as jams, chocolates, and syrups. Visitors can easily spend an hour exploring the garden's lush surroundings while indulging in photography sessions.
Very well made outlet of mapro. Decent amount of parking and also loads of table to occupy the crowd visiting. They have added lot of shopping options apart from their in house products. The fresh cream strawberry, strawberry icecream, pizzas and sandwiches are their signature dishes which are must try.

Good place to pass time especially if you are going along with kids. You can easily spend two hours here exploring the place. Good and organised parking space but may get full during weekends, so you will have to park outside. Coming to food: Their food menu is very simple. Veg grill sandwich: 3/5 Veg delight Pizza: 3.5/5 Strawberry with cream and ice cream: 1/5 Kiwi mojito: 2/5 If you come here again and are hungry, just order sandwiches and pizzas. Do not order their famous strawberry cream. All their fresh strawberries were sour and completely not edible. We and many other tables were just throwing it away.

Although Mapro Garden originally belongs to Mahabaleshwar, the one in Lonavala is definitely a must-visit during your trip. Spread across a large area, it offers a wide range of Mapro products with free tasting samples. There’s also an M Café, where you can watch live fudge-making and enjoy freshly baked pastries and desserts. The place also features a separate beauty products section, kids’ play zones, and a cafeteria serving food, pizzas, and beverages. I tried almost everything they had to offer and ended up having brunch at their cafeteria before heading back to Pune. Here’s what I ordered: 1. Mini Classic Sandwich (2 pieces) – ₹198 2. Strawberry/Chocolate Cupcakes – ₹162 Total Bill (as of 7/11/25): ₹378

Must say, this is a pretty good place overall — family-friendly and couple-friendly too. You can easily bring your family or friends along. There’s a wide variety of Mapro products available at good prices, with proper counter service during checkout. The place is well maintained and also has various fun activities for kids. If you’re nearby, do visit — you won’t be disappointed :)

Mapro Garden in Lonavala is a fairly large property with neatly maintained greenery and some seating areas that make it look inviting at first glance. However, once inside, the experience feels a bit underwhelming compared to expectations. Ambience & Space: The place is spacious, with open lawns, landscaped gardens, and a few decorative elements like fountains. It’s good for a short walk around and has a few games and play areas for kids. That said, the games themselves are not very impressive or engaging, and kids may lose interest quickly. Shops & Stores: There is a boutique shop on the premises, but it offers very limited products and doesn’t feel like a highlight. The grocery store also exists, but again, the options are quite restricted. Food & Beverage: The best part of Mapro Garden is undoubtedly the M Cafe. While the food and beverages are slightly expensive, they were surprisingly good in quality and taste. The cafe has a neat, modern look and is probably the only aspect that feels like it delivers on the brand’s name and reputation. Overall Experience: While the garden is clean and offers a big space to walk around, the limited attractions, mediocre kids’ games, and underwhelming shopping options make it fall short. The cafe alone makes the visit somewhat worthwhile.

Visited this place at 8 am with a group of 45 people. Breakfast was pre ordered. They were little bit late but everything was good. Sandwiches and fries were good as usual. Coffee too. Location is perfect for pune-Mumbai travellers. Place is clean, toilets too. Parking is adequate.

Had a great time. The place is beautifully maintained with a refreshing garden setting, perfect for families and friends. Their fresh strawberry with cream is the highlight — absolutely delicious and worth trying. You can also enjoy a variety of pizzas, sandwiches. We had pizza and it was super crunchy, sufficient for 2 people's. Tried the famous strawberry cream at Mapro Garden — and it totally lives up to the hype! The strawberries were fresh, juicy, and sweet, perfectly layered with smooth, chilled cream. The Mapro products outlet offers jams, crushes, chocolates, and syrups — great for taking home.

Mummy's Homely Food is a simple restaurant located on the old Mumbai-Pune road, offering delicious home-style non-vegetarian meals. The food, cooked by family members of the owners themselves, includes specialties like prawn fry, mutton handi, bombil fry, and chicken handi. This place is known for its rustic setting and proximity to Lonavala city center.
Dining at the delightful open-air restaurant on the first floor offers a unique experience. This establishment is situated on Old Mumbai Pune Highway, opposite Mapro. The food and service are both excellent, though you might encounter a slight delay during peak hours. Their thalis are highly recommended, and they also serve ukdiche modak. The à la carte menu is also a good option. Ample parking is available, and the prices are reasonable.

Visited this place after seeing lot of reels on social media. Some over ACTOR'S have hyped this place above and beyond limit. Looking at the menu card, was very interested in trying the special Mutton thali, which had fry Mutton, Mutton rassa(without pieces) 1 boiled egg, 2 chapatis or 1 bhakari and other small side dishes. When asked the waiter, whether the bhakari or chapatis and rice were limited or unlimited, I was told, limited. Any thing extra is chargeable. Generally I felt all the dishes were over priced. So decided to order special fry Mutton (half) 1 portion of Mutton rassa, and 3 bhakari. ( Since I workout 💪 this is normal diet for me.) The delivery time was quick, and I got my order in 7/8 minutes. Extremely disappointing taste of the Mutton fry, no flavor of spices at all. Just some red masala, had to add salt to make it edible, absolutely bland. Mutton rassa was equally bad, watery, flavor less, no taste at all. Bhakari was normal. Portion size was very small, the Mutton fry was priced at ₹ 550, had hardly 5 pieces mostly bones. Some of them were chewy... Service is mediocre, you don't get the bill on your table, you have to go to the counter to pay. Ample parking space, but all uncovered. It's a total turn off in the hot summer afternoon. I genuinely appreciate the effort taken by all entrepreneurs, and generally never write critical reviews, but this place absolutely turned me down, and to the core. When you go to eat, the food must be good.... All other things can be adjusted..

Hype but ....! Tried one Veg & Nonveg thali recommended by hotel staff but disappointed due to taste. Location on roadside having good parking area.Simple ambiance with Bajala seating and dinning. Service was good. They serves many items in thali but taste was not on top.Need much improvement. ₹₹₹₹

Terrible experience. Food was stale, service was rude, and hygiene was nonexistent. Complete waste of money—avoid this place at all costs
Swapnil S — Google review
This is a nice restaurant with good food and quick service. In addition to regular chair and table seating, they also offer the option of traditional khats (charpais), which is a unique touch. While the ambiance was just okay, the delicious chicken thali, especially the sweet aamrakhand, more than made up for it. A significant plus is the ample parking available for both two and four-wheelers. The restaurant is also easily located on the Old Mumbai-Pune Highway, just before the toll. Overall, it's a nice place to enjoy a meal.
Pritish B — Google review
Nitin's Mummy's Homely Food offers an excellent culinary experience, with dishes that are flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. However, the service leaves much to be desired — staff appeared disengaged and lacked warmth, which negatively impacted the dining experience. The atmosphere has potential but would benefit from improvements in decor and energy. With better service and ambiance, this restaurant could become a real standout.

Nice food we order mutton thali it was tasty 😋 home made food feeling
Ajinkya 1 — Google review
Food is not that tastey. Service is very slow. The major difference found in pricing , you pay 400 rs for chicken thali considering it is unlimited (which is normally is everywhere) But here you need to pay extra for chicken rassa(gravy), extra bhakri, you get small cup of rassa with thali whichbis not sufficient for 1 bhakri. You can even have it on rice. For extra you need to pay 100 rs. That's not written on menu card. Being a tourist spot they just put it on customer.

Nestled in the picturesque hills of Lonavala, Markaiz is a charming bakery that offers an array of delectable treats to satisfy your cravings. The cozy interior with wooden accents provides a comfortable setting to enjoy their specialties such as croissants, muffins, and refreshing beverages. This modern cafe spans three floors and features tasteful designs, including outdoor seating options.
Markaiz offers a complete dining experience that impresses on multiple fronts. The ambience is absolutely stunning—stylish interiors, warm lighting, and a lively yet relaxed vibe make it perfect for both casual evenings and special occasions. The food is top-notch, with well-crafted flavors and beautiful presentation. Their cocktail menu is equally impressive, featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of classic and signature drinks that pair perfectly with the cuisine. Service here is truly outstanding—staff are attentive, polite, and ensure you’re looked after from start to finish. To top it all off, there’s live music that adds a wonderful energy to the place without overpowering your conversations. That said, the prices are on the higher side, and for some dishes, the portion sizes could be slightly better. But considering the overall experience, it still feels worth it.

It's a beautiful place with delicious food. The ambience is serene and peaceful, full of greenery and no bustle of lonavala. The food though a little pricey was extremely tasty and in good quantity. The cold brew with orange tonic was exceptional, the mushroom veloute soup was great, the nutcracker salad was a revelation, with is sweet citrusy dressing perfectly complimenting the crunchy nuts soft chicken and fresh greens in each bite. The mushroom risotto was earthy and filling. It was a great meal indeed. Service was fast and polite
Abhinanda B — Google review
This has become one of my go-to places for amazing food whenever I am in and around Lonavla. They have a great selection of Parsi dishes as well as continental and Indian. Cooper’s is an institution by itself for the most delectable fudges and chikkis since decades and the addition of Markaiz as a restaurant to their repertoire is just the perfect expansion. The place is amazingly done up and they have an indoor A/C seating as well as an indoor seating. There is plenty of parking within the premises but weekends can get crazy busy and crowded, so there might be a bit of wait time for parking but the parking assistant is amazing and does his best to accommodate most. Coming to the food, their Parsi dishes are of course mind blowing. We’ve had the potato on khari, Russian cutlets and akuri and they’re all superb! Raspberry soda is refreshing and reminds you of Dukes (nothing beats Dukes of course!) and the Vietnamese iced latte is nice but tad too light for my taste. The Russian cutlets were packed with flavor and perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey and cheesy on the inside. Yum! Then we tried a couple of their croissan’wiches. The outer croissant itself is totally yummy but the sandwich as a whole seemed to lack flavor (or seasoning perhaps?). It wasn’t bad but it isn’t memorable. Overall the place is fantastic, staff is prompt and polite and the place during the rains can be calming haven! And if nothing else, just indulge in the wonderful bakery downstairs and enjoy the famous Cooper fugde!
Kanchan S — Google review
Awesome place for a relaxed brunch. Food and drinks selection is top notch. With beautiful views to keep you company especially in the rainy season. There is a bakery on the premises as well so the burger buns, croissant were all freshly baked and soft and really elevated the dishes another notch. Parking is a hassle due to Coopers being so popular and in the same building. The drinks selection is especially good with local flavour incorporated into the cocktails and ciders. Overall a great experience and worth the drive from Pune (or Mumbai)

Visited Markaiz in Lonavala and had an absolutely delightful experience! We tried the Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly cooked. The Town Best Pizza truly lived up to its name — loaded with flavor and a great crust. The Garlic Korean Cheese Bun was soft, cheesy, and packed with a delicious garlicky kick — a must-try! For desserts, the Tiramisu and Croissant was a unique and indulgent treat, while the Cooper’s Chocolate Fudge Cake was dense, rich, and a total chocolate lover’s dream. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, and the staff was warm and attentive. Every dish was crafted with care and tasted fantastic. If you're in Lonavala, Markaiz is a spot you shouldn't miss!

Great ambience, 2 levels of seating, open air and ac section. Food is great, prices are a slightly high but portion sizes are also big. I have attached the menu so you get an idea. Service is also good and quick. There is a store at the ground floor where you can pick up chicki, fudge etc which you get at Coopers as it's a Coopers chain. Must visit once to enjoy bun maska chai, cutlets, sallu boti, caramel custard. The other cuisine available is really good too. Must Visit.

Located above the new Cooper’s, this is a pet friendly restaurant serving a variety of different cuisines. Huge menu to choose from. But equally long wait time. Seems they have separate kitchens. Went to Oven Fresh Lonavala on Monday 23.06.25. Google Map shows wrong driving direction. So u find it difficult to locate. U keep on making rounds to hotel. But this hotel is actually on main road. So be careful while locating hotel. Remember again it has a entry from main road only. Don't enter in any small lane. It's a big hotel. Ambiance is good. Quick Service. Toilets are not clean. At least the one which I tried to use. No water in toilet. Food is good. Especially their Sambhar. Very tasty. We ordered Chai. But it is Masala Chai. Very Strong. Not at all tasty. Many of us returned it. So they didn't charge for Chai. Prices are very high. E.g. Upma is for 180+ Taxes.

Mild Cheddar Dosa 10/10 Podi Idli 10/10 Filter Coffee 8/10 Toast Bread With Butter 8/10 Masala Chai 7/10 Veg Grilled Sandwich 8/10 We have consumed their bakery items and breads also in the past and those are top notch as well! If you’re in lonavala and want a place with a quiet ambience and lip smacking food then you should definitely give this place a visit. Ample of parking space and handicap accessible. The pricing is slightly on the premium side, however the service and ambience make up for it.

Adequate car parking and plenty of tables, makes this restaurant stand apart from others

Lunch at Oven Fresh, Lonavla was a delightful experience where great food met soulful music. The Pizza was thoughtfully prepared, flavourful and beautifully presented. The live piano performance, the best part of the experience, added an artistic charm to the afternoon, creating a soothing and elegant atmosphere. As someone once said, “Good music and good food are the truest forms of comfort.” Though the AC wasn’t working and it felt a bit warm, the warmth of the food and the melody made up for it. Oven Fresh is clearly a place where culinary passion meets heartfelt hospitality — a memorable stop in the hills of Lonavla. 🎹🍽️

Anglo Indian Cafe is a stylish cafe with high ceilings and a covered outdoor patio. The menu offers international fare, including vegan, gluten-free, and Jain options alongside vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes from Eastern, Western, and Indian cuisines. Despite slow service, the ambience is perfect for a cozy dinner, making it an excellent choice for those seeking diverse culinary options in Lonavala.
We had a pleasant experience at Anglo Indian in Lonavala. The ambience is warm and well-designed, making it a comfortable spot to unwind. We tried their pizza, avocado toast, and a drink—all of which were nicely presented and tasted great. They also offer an in-house dessert menu, which adds a sweet touch to the overall dining experience. A good place to relax and enjoy a well-plated meal.
Kshitija — Google review
Visited Anglo Indian in Lonavala recently. The place has an open-air setup, which feels refreshing in pleasant weather. However, it's not ideal during peak summers as there’s no AC or cooler, so timing your visit is important. The ambiance is calm and scenic, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a casual date. We ordered the mushroom soup, pesto rice, and cottage cheese steak with paprika sauce. The food was good and well-prepared, with portions sufficient for two people per dish. Prices are slightly on the higher side, so it’s more suited for a relaxed meal than a quick budget stop. The service was a good as it was less crowded during my visit, staff were polite, attentive, and ensured we were comfortable throughout. The place also offers great views and has a clean, aesthetic setup that’s quite Instagram-friendly. One suggestion: **do make a reservation in advance**, especially on weekends or holidays. The place can get crowded, and it’s better to avoid waiting. Overall, a pleasant spot if you're in Lonavala and looking to enjoy good food in an open-air setting.

Damn yummy restaurant, it was so memorable experience. We were 11 people, we ate like dogs, we ordered so many things, and each and every dish were so delicious. Most recommend TRUFFLES MALAI BITES. For some reason they had cashews on pizza, and i dont know why it even tasted good. Our visit to this restaurant turned into one of those evenings you just don’t forget. There were eleven of us, and the moment we sat down, we knew it was going to be a feast. The table looked like a festival of flavors — dish after dish kept coming, and somehow, every single one managed to impress in its own way. The taste, the presentation, the warmth of the staff — everything just clicked perfectly. One dish that completely stole the show was the Truffles Malai Bites — pure perfection on a plate. And then there was the pizza — I still can’t wrap my head around how those unexpected toppings worked so well together. Whoever created that deserves a standing ovation for the bold creativity. The atmosphere had this cozy yet lively charm — perfect for big groups, laughter, and long conversations. The staff made sure everything reached the table hot and quick, even with our never-ending list of orders. I’ll soon be sharing a bunch of photos from that evening because words alone can’t capture how vibrant and tempting everything looked. This place truly turned a simple dinner into a memorable celebration.

We had a wonderful dining experience at The Anglo Indian Café in Khandala. The café exudes a calm, contemporary charm with beautifully designed outdoor seating, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy a leisurely meal. The ambience is serene, sunlit, and surrounded by greenery — perfect for a relaxing afternoon. We ordered the Farmhouse Pizza, Aglio Olio Pasta, and Basque Cheesecake, and each dish exceeded expectations. The pizza had a perfectly crisp base with just the right amount of chewiness, topped with fresh vegetables, jalapeños, olives, and a flavorful cheese blend that brought everything together. The Aglio Olio Pasta was simple yet incredibly well-balanced — rich in garlic and olive oil, with a subtle kick of spice and fresh herbs. The accompanying garlic bread was crisp, buttery, and seasoned beautifully. To end the meal, the Basque Cheesecake stood out as the perfect dessert — smooth, creamy, and delicately caramelized on top, served with a scoop of ice cream that complemented it wonderfully. Overall, the combination of excellent food, prompt service, and a relaxing atmosphere made this a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lonavala or Khandala — a must-visit for those who appreciate quality food served in a peaceful, well-curated setting

Interval at Hotel Montana in Lonavla offers a delightful dining experience with a Bollywood-themed ambiance, featuring film posters and iconic music. The food is a fusion of local and international flavors, with highlights like paneer tikka masala and chocolate lava cake. Service is impeccable, and the setting provides stunning views of the lush surroundings. Though a bit pricey, the quality and overall experience make it worth the visit. Perfect for both casual meals and special occasions.

We loved it here! As soon as I entered this restaurant my eyes won't stop rolling like looking at the ambience here!! Resto is quite big and hygienic. Rates are a bit high but reasonable according to the service and ambience. Dosa was fantastic but i didn't like uthappa as it was thick and not that tasty. It is pure veg most importantly and other food smells yummy as well.

Varsu Dhabba chanced to see see and dropped by to have some lunch .Simple ambiance the so called out door sitting with the khatiya and pillow rolls was a Boling oven with the overhead fans of no use. Dogs walking in and out through were trained not to come in the customer area. Asked for chicken tandoori but were advised chicken khatarnak so we went along with it and were surprised with the taste. Chicken rounded balls were well cooked tender and tasty we asked for roti but had to wait till they got it and the chicken was nearly over asked them egg masala but were told to have egg bhurji instead which we refused and ordered dal rice The quantity of dal was pathetic hardly 3 small bowls as a result lots of rice left over Ambiance service bad Taste was ok priced high Best avoided

Lola Café & Bar, Lonavala – A Chic Hilltop Hangout During our recent trip to Lonavala, we decided to unwind at Lola Café & Bar, a trendy and cozy spot nestled amidst the scenic greenery of the hills. Located close to the heart of Lonavala, this café offers an inviting ambiance that perfectly balances nature with modern aesthetics. As we entered, we were greeted with warm lighting, great music, and a chill vibe. The interior décor is minimalist yet artistic, with wooden furniture and open spaces that offer a relaxed hill station atmosphere. The outdoor seating area is the real highlight — you can sit back, sip a drink, and enjoy the cool breeze and views of the surrounding trees and misty hills. We ordered their signature pizzas, pasta, mocktails, and tried a couple of cocktails. The food was flavorful, and the presentation was excellent. Their bar menu is well-curated, and service was prompt and courteous. What made the visit truly enjoyable was the calm vibe — not too crowded, not too loud. Whether you're stopping by during a monsoon drive or planning a weekend hangout with friends, Lola Café & Bar is a must-visit for food lovers and ambiance seekers alike.
Sparsh M — Google review
The restaurant has a nice ambience and a relaxed vibe. It's very spacious with comfortable seating, which adds to the overall experience. One of the best parts is that it's pet-friendly . We visited around 10 AM, so the service was slow, but manageable. The prices felt fair, especially considering the portion sizes, but taste can be improved. The burger was a bit dry, but they happily provided extra sauces on request. The Bombay sandwich could’ve used more chutney for better flavor. The cappuccino was a little weak- could’ve been stronger. The pasta and omelet were both well-prepared and enjoyable. Overall, a pleasant spot with room for a few improvements.
Payal B — Google review
Food was quite good & reasonably priced in a place like Lonavala! Although the cafe seems aesthetic from the outside there is no regular maintenance so, it is not so attractive in terms of ambience. Also their song collection doesn't set the mood for a bar.
Shankhanava G — Google review
Lola Bar in Lonavala is a great spot with amazing food and a good market location. The staff is friendly and attentive. We tried Paneer Tikka Masala with Lacha Paratha, Garlic Naan, White Sauce Pasta, and mocktails (Pina Colada and Blue Lagoon) — everything was just perfect. A must-visit place if you’re in Lonaval
Rahul G — Google review
Lola Cafe and Bar is one of those places where the food stands out but the ambience holds it back. Food: The food here is quite good in terms of taste and presentation. The dishes were flavorful and enjoyable, though I found the pricing to be slightly on the expensive side. If you’re here just for the food, it’s definitely worth a try. Ambience: The ambience is not great and feels like it needs a serious renovation. The tables and chairs look worn out, and the overall setup gives an impression of being dated. The lighting is extremely dim, which doesn’t add a cozy feel but instead makes the place look dull. The service was okay, nothing extraordinary. Overall Experience: If you’re looking for good food in Lonavala, Lola Cafe and Bar can deliver on that front. However, if ambience and atmosphere are equally important to you, this place may feel a bit disappointing.

One of their popular dishes is the chicken biryani, which is praised for its rich flavors and hearty portion size, making it a satisfying meal on its own.

It’s a nice place. The location is outside from lonavala and we have to cross the varsoli toll on NH48. Plenty of parking. Many people seem to come here for drinks but it’s nice they have side only for family tables. And they have this interesting rumali papad item. They have a huge bright screen which is really annoying to someone sitting facing it, so we moved to a corner table. I went there on Monday evening, it was not so busy.

I visited this place at 1.35 am Before entering we asked the staff if we would get food we were told a single order The rotis were very hard The dal had no taste Paneer handi was a very good portion for 4 tasted also good. The staff in a hurry to close down 3 times they have shut the lights while we are eating so we couldn’t even see what we are eating To top it all they get the bill in the middle of our food and ask us to pay when we say let us finish eating the reply we get Is have to close the cash counter Being from the same industry Found the staff behaviour unacceptable. Rajkumar ji pls look into this personally So what if is the last table of the day I shouldn’t be exiting with my mobile torch

Pearl D — Google review
A visit to Lonavla is never complete without indulging in its famous fudges, and our stop at the Live Fudge Factory turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Located conveniently in the town, the shop welcomes you with the irresistible aroma of freshly prepared fudge and a warm smile from the staff. The staff was extremely courteous and hospitable, which made our experience even better. They patiently offered us a variety of samples before we made our choices, and it was delightful to see that every flavor had its own unique charm. We tried several—mango, choco walnut, choco almond, and more. Each one was rich, smooth, and fresh, reflecting the quality and care put into its preparation. It’s not often that you find every sample equally good, but here, we honestly struggled to pick a favorite because all tasted excellent. What made the experience special was that it wasn’t just enjoyable for us adults; even the grandparents in our group and the little one, barely 1.5 years old, had a lovely time. The elders appreciated the nostalgic sweetness, while the child was fascinated by the colorful display and the welcoming atmosphere. The rainy evening outside only added to the charm, making the warm, melt-in-the-mouth fudge feel even more comforting. The Live Fudge Factory is more than just a sweet shop—it feels like a slice of Lonavla’s identity. The variety, freshness, and courteous service create a memorable experience that caters to all age groups. Whether you’re a fan of nutty chocolates, fruity twists like mango, or classic flavors, this place has something for everyone. Overall, our visit was thoroughly enjoyable, and we left with not just boxes of fudge but also sweet memories. A must-visit in Lonavla for anyone with a sweet tooth.

This place is based out of a shipping container i feel the place is quite decent and good looking, the chocolate fudges that they have are really nice and tasty, other fruits fudges were also nice however the 2nd time i went there was a sitaphal flavour in place of the earlier strawberry it was nice but didn't really taste like sitaphal, there is where one start went. The other star i haven't given is because they use and waste a whole lot of plastic when the work could even easily be done at half of the plastic. However it is in all a very good place and a must visit to taste the fudge there.

Maval Maratha, located in Lonavala along the Pune-Mumbai highway, offers a taste of traditional Maharashtrian cuisine with a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The restaurant is known for its delicious thalis, including mutton and veg options, as well as tasty starters. Visitors can enjoy homely gavaran food in a pleasant atmosphere with good seating arrangements.
Had lunch at Maval Maratha, Khopoli. The ambience and setup were nice, giving a real village feel. The food tasted good and portions were fair, though service could be a bit quicker. Still, it’s a good place to try local Maharashtrian food on the highway.
Ajay P — Google review
I had heard decent things about Maval Maratha, but my experience with their mutton thali was nothing short of disappointing. The mutton was tough and lacked any flavor, almost as if it had been boiled with no seasoning at all. The curry was watery and bland, with no real spice or richness to it. The rice was dry and hard, and the chapatis were rubbery, as though they'd been reheated multiple times. The side dishes were forgettable, and the overall presentation was unappealing. On top of that, the service was slow and the staff seemed disorganized. For a place specializing in Maratha cuisine, this was a real letdown. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a good mutton thali.
Pranjal P — Google review
Visited a cozy restaurant in Lonavala and had a great experience. I started with their Manchow Soup—hot, spicy, and packed with flavor, just the perfect thing for the cool hill weather. 🍲 For the main course, I went for their Chicken Thali which was generous and satisfying. It had a good variety—succulent chicken curry, well-cooked rice, chapatis, and sides that complemented each bite. 🍱 The service was quick, and the ambiance had a simple, local charm. A great spot if you’re craving comfort food with a spicy twist in the hills!⛰️
Rachna D — Google review
Ambience is normal, there are 3 types of seating available. We had their Thali, Chicken & Mutton thali. Gravy & Bhakri was ok ok but the Tamda pandhara raasa was not good at all. The service was quick & the staff was well behaved.

Naam bade darshan chote Very bad service Staff dont have knowledge about dishes Which one is mutton thali which one is chiken thali They said aap dekh lo konsa kya hai Very slow service They took one hr for food After too wait They not give food one of us Poor Mangement Not recommended at all
Sachin D — Google review
I recently ordered the Mutton Handi and was extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the dish. The primary issue was the mutton itself. The handi was noticeably over-oily, overpowering any other flavor the spices might have had. More concerning was the quality of the meat: the pieces were almost entirely fat and bone, with very little actual lean mass. It truly felt as though leftover mutton had been used in the preparation, which is unacceptable for a main course item. When I contacted the restaurant about this, the owner acknowledged the complaint and assured me he would check with the cook and call back. Unfortunately, he never followed up. Furthermore, subsequent attempts to call the restaurant have been met with an unanswered phone. The lack of quality in the food combined with the complete failure of the management to follow through on their promise and address the issue is extremely poor. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on this experience.

During my recent trip to Lonavala, I stumbled upon a delightful culinary surprise at Hotel Marathi Zatka. As a first-time visitor on May 27, 2024, I was enchanted by the monsoon-like weather that added to the charm of this hill station. Accompanying a friend for his admission at 'The Great Eastern Institute Of Maritime Studies,' I couldn't resist indulging in my love for Misal Pav.
One of the rare restaurant wich offers unique food items. Located on a traffic free road, this restaurant is quite popular among travellers. And still you'll get table , even on weekends. Service is really good with owner himself looking after all customers. Must try dishes - Chicken kheema pav, chicken misal, special chicken thali, anda masala, chicken masala. It's totally worth the visit. Ambience and vibe are minimum but you will be delighted with taste of all food items.
Ha J — Google review
I was skeptical about adding chicken to Misal, but this dish at hotel marathi zatka blew me away. It's an absolute gamechanger.! The base had the perfect Kolhapuri tarri spicy, oily, and fiery but the addition of savory, minced chicken (kheema) beneath the usal gave it an incredible, meaty depth.
Abhijit C — Google review
Stay at Lonavala Tungarli led us to this much recommended place. They said Chicken Misal is very famous from here but I being a veggie they said normal ghas foos bhi milega. It's a quite a misaly type of ambience typically with large pictures of celebrities who had visited in the past. But loved the Warli decor on the walls We ordered veg misal, veg thali, mutton thali and chicken misal. Thalis comes with bhakris only tandlachi meaning rice bhakri was available that day otherwise Jowar ones also available. The preparations were good spice levels were high as expected. Good was freshly made. We had to order coconut rawa laddos after the spicy zing and they were great and gave us relief. If you are in the area do visit

1. Good place for eating misal (Chiken Misal) 2. Place is small, but you get the seating 3. Owner of the shop is good 4. Apart from misal you also get other food items 5. Car parking is a bit problem 6. Place has only 1 washroom.

A Unique and Flavorful Misal Experience at Marathi Zatka Misal I with my 12 friends recently had the pleasure of dining at Marathi Zatka Misal and was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant lives up to its name, offering a misal experience that is both authentic and unique. What sets this place apart is the distinct and unique taste of their misal. The blend of spices and the overall preparation results in a flavor profile that stands out from other misal joints. I tried both the veg and non-veg misal, and both were incredibly tasty and well-prepared. The non-veg misal, in particular, with its addition of chicken, is a fantastic twist on the traditional dish. Despite the high quality, the cost is very reasonable, making it an excellent value for money. It's not a place that overcharges for its unique offerings. The service was also good, with the staff being attentive. If you are a fan of misal or are looking to try a unique and flavorful version of this Maharashtrian classic, I highly recommend Marathi Zatka Misal. It's a fantastic spot for a satisfying and affordable meal.

Superb food. Excellent atmosphere. June. July. Best time to visit in heavy rain. Super courteous staff. I love the peace around the place. The rooms are always clean. It's the best OYO I've been to and the one I keep going back to. Morning, breakfast is complimentary and in the buffet system quite filling too. The food is amazing. Their chicken chilly, lemon soup, butter chicken and rotis are all amazing and very filling so total value for money. It's a quote place so you'll thoroughly enjoy if you just need to wind down.

Rooms : Small and not maintained at all. The faucet in the washroom was broken. The mug had a hole. Overall cleanliness was not maintained. The Airconditioner was not working. Dining : Dogs roaming around the dining area. Insufficient food in the buffet. Onion was denied while eating Misal Paav for breakfast. The kheer was over within 30 minutes of buffet service for lunch. The owner should seriously look at the service else they would lose customers at volumes. I had come here for a residential training programme of 2 days. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Eggs overcooked

It's a pretty good decent place. Staff was very much courteous. I booked it through OYO rooms. Rooms were well maintained too. The road leading to the hotel is very bad and it becomes too dark alone at night, however this won't be a problem if you have your own vehicle. I didn't have meals over here but the morning breakfast was good. Considering the price it is perfect for a weekend trip. PS: the photos shown here on Google are old, they have somewhat renewed the hotel.

Absolutely awful hotel. Smelly rooms, dirty linens and to top it off the hotel is not well lit. You'll feel like you are wandering in jungle with no electricity. Didn't have any issue with staff as we cancelled the booking seeing the condition of the hotel. Not at all suitable for family. Please avoid at all costs. Searched for hotels at 10:00 pm and ultimately landed at City Palace Resort which was semi-decent, but a huge upgrade comparing it to Lion's Den

So we were searching restaurant in Lonavala and found this place on Google and decided to go for the restaurant as photos were good. I must say ambience is good and good place for hukkah lovers. They also have foosball and snooker table (chargeable). Coming to food non veg food that we ordered was good and quantity is also good. Veg wasn't that great, Potato Cheese roll that we ordered was missing salt and cheese. Coming to service, its okayish and also delayed serving food comparing as there were hardly 2-3 tables which were occupied with customers. Coming to washroom, there are okayish not that greatly maintained but ya average That was my overall experience. Do visit this place once for chill time.

The food served was not much good in taste l. And the vegetables were totally uncooked or can say raw. Dal khichdi too was bad in taste, without salt.

In my experience, this hotel has the worst taste. Anyone visiting Lonavala should avoid going here for lunch or anything else. 👎👎

We ordered special thali, which cost around 140rs, and roti is hard to cut and eat. Food taste is average. The staff and owner are polite.

Breakfast is value for money and better other food joints with over priced items. The space is less and might have to share your dinning table. But, really good in economic figure.

Vegetarian restaurant
Nestled in a charming, historic building, Kunverbai's Kitchen is a delightful haven for those seeking homestyle vegetarian cuisine. This quaint restaurant, run by the Shah family—Ashok and his daughter Chandni—offers an authentic dining experience with dishes crafted from fresh vegetables sourced directly from their family farm. The menu showcases traditional Gujarati and Rajasthani specialties, including an array of thalis that promise to tantalize your taste buds.
Gujarati Thali- Rs.350 Kunverbai's Kitchen, Coover Castle, Lonavala Gujarati Thali $$ 14.10.24 Today I'm travelling from Mumbai to Pune & in between I plan to stop for lunch at Lonavala. Last night's googling hours took me to Kunverbai's Kitchen, a 160 year old heritage home belonging to a Gujarati family. A portion of this beautiful building is used as a restaurant while the remaining half is still the living residence of the owners. The restaurant is 4 years old. I called them in the morning just to find out just in case they are closed. I entered inside & I think the lady at the counter insisted I took a table at the hallway instead of the beautiful room. The hallway was still fascinating enough with the indoor jhola. The ambience had a warmth that took me back to the 1840s. I was eating all alone. I asked for the menu & was told that they only had 1 thing & that was Gujarati Thalis. Yes I know I'm in Maharashtra but I still figured that the food from western India would still be a good try. Did I get it right? Anyway this my 1st ever proper Gujarati Thali. 5 mins later I was served. The thali had 14 items, Rice, Sweet Dal, Ghee Roti, Puri, Mattar Paneer, Patta Gobhi, Aloo Tamatar, Anjeer Halwa, Sewaiyan, Chaat, Dhokla, Salad, Papad & Buttermilk & each dish was unlimited. The food was light, homely, less on spices yet very flavorful that I didn't realise I had put in 8 rotis 4 Pooris a small portion of rice, 5 refills of the Punjabi styled mattar paneer & 3 refills of the patta gobhi. The lady owner seemed busy at first but slowly opened up to explain the dishes when the food arrived. The waiter was a gem of a guy. This to me was definitely worth the 350 bucks & was such a wonderful Gujarati Thali experience. Instagram ID - kari.on.eats

So glad we took a detour from our usual Lonavla pit stop to try Kunverbai’s. It’s a buffet served unlimited veg thaali. All the items were freshly prepared and refilled. Everything was downright delicious, not oily or overly spicy. Felt like home food cooked with love.
Dhanashree G — Google review
Absolutely delightful experience. The variety in the thali is remarkable, and every dish was bursting with flavor. Strawberry Shrikhand in particular, was divine, offering a perfect blend of sweetness and texture that left me craving more. The Basundi was served cold and was the perfect way to end the meal — creamy, rich, and delicious. All Veges were having their actual taste with limited spices used. I would recommend this place to everyone
Kunal J — Google review
Simply an exhilarating experience. Kunverbai’s Kitchen offers a vintage-themed ambience and home-cooked Gujarati food. The buffet has varied options and is priced very reasonably (INR 300 per person) and is truly value for money. The restaurant is located in the precincts of an ancestral Gujarati home. We could also see vintage cars and an expansive collection of automobile-themed books. The restaurant offers a quiet homely vibe which I really loved!
Sarayu S — Google review
A must try in Lonavala for vegetarian meals. Part of a beautiful old villa turned into a restaurant serving homely vegetarian Gujarati thali(₹350 per thali, unlimited), buffet style. The food is simple, fresh, delicious and served hot. The dishes are very mildly spiced, non greasy and suitable for all ages. Aamras, gulab jamun and chaas along with the food was heavenly. The open kitchen was super clean and the staff very friendly. The hosts were very kind and warm, explained the history of the place. The decor is simple and has vibes of warm and happy home. One can click Instagram worthy pics. Suitable for family, groups and solo travellers

Excellent place! Was mighty impressed with the traditional vibe. Food was exceptionally good. Glad I chose this venue from GMaps. This is going to be my go to place in lonavala going forward. Thanks to Chandni Shah, Ashok Shah and their entire team of cooking experts (especially, Maharaj and his wonderful little boy Anil Devanshi!) Specifically - green chutney was awesome, farsan tikki was lip-smacking and vegetable dishes were tasty and wholesome. Deserts were just too good. Rgds Shankar Iyer

Kunverbai’s Kitchen (Lonavla - Maharashtra) :- i was quite surprised by seeing the heritage place serving the good quality food. Open kitchen with well-mannered staff is praise-worthy. My order was paneer subji for takeaway that cost me 250/- per portion. The taste was too good and price was also reasonable. Spotlight :- They have buffet Lunch & Dinner everyday. Must visit on Saturday and sunday as they serves two sweets & two farsan on that particular days otherwise only one on weekdays. Thali cost 350/- per pax.

Visited at around 12:30 am. As expected it was already crowded. They are at a prime location where you have food stalls open during the night. Worth trying is their Bhurji pav and masala maggi. Maggi has several other varieties like cheese, egg, etc. They also offer pasta, half fry pav, omelette pav etc. You have all the options to customise your dishes the way you like. My taste buds can still feel the lip smacking anda bhurji and cheese masala maggi. You can also take a parcel if you like. Worth a visit especially during the night time. And yes, they are open 24x7

When you have absolutely no option late night in Lonavala you can come to this area. We picked the place randomly. Masala Maggie was not at all good. The additional Maggie masala they claim they add was an empty sachets. The only good thing we found was Corn Pakoda but again we didn't feel paying 150 bucks for the same was worth.

The restaurant is particularly renowned for its kebabs and reasonably priced menu, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely brunch with family or friends. Visitors can expect generous portions and flavorful options such as Paneer Kadhai and Chicken Chettinad, served by attentive staff in a pleasant atmosphere.
They serve delicious vegetarian food! The paneer tikka was delicious. The soups were yum too! Veg kheema and garlic naan were very good! Caesar salad was nice. Veg pizza was good too. Lemon coriander soup was yum!

Food - 4/5 Quantity was huge and really filling for almost 3 people. We were unaware since prices seemed reasonable for a resort based restaurant. Ordered a Paneer Kadhai (no onion-- no garlic for me), Chicken Chettinad (for my partner), Butter Naan and Strawberry Shake. Really flavourful and filling. Service - 4/5 Polite cleaning staff, responsive and attentive to details. Thank you for the special vegetarian suggestion and provision. Atmosphere - 4/5 Drenched outside but not a bid of dampy smell. The restaurant was very clean with a flowery fragnance in the place. Well lit and clean tables. Final Verdict - Very thankful to Picadore Restaurant - Meritas Resort for providing a vegetarian option ( no onion, no garlic) for me. The chicken was spicy and good too.
Bhaskar C — Google review
Have been visiting the restaurant since 4 years now . I only see the standards detoriating. Today at breakfast - some guests sat at my table, sating "there is no place to sit". While the other seating section was empty. No manager to guide the guests to the other section, or manage the seating or food. Either the hotel has too much business or unable to retain good talent/ staff Tempreature in the lobby at 9 am was 32 degrees, while outside was 26. In the restaurant the Tempreature was 29 degrees

We visited Picadore - Multi Cuisine Restaurant Lonavala on 5-Jan-2025 to celebrate my brother's birthday, traveling all the way from Talegaon Dabhade to Lonavala. Unfortunately, the service was subpar, leaving a sour taste. *Issues with Service* 1. *Delayed and Denied Orders*: We placed additional orders, but the staff refused to serve us, citing that the chef had left for the day. It's unacceptable that the chef couldn't wait for 20-30 minutes to fulfill our orders, especially for a table of 9 people. 2. *Uncooperative Staff*: When we requested to speak with the GM or manager, Mr. Om Parkash denied our request, stating that it wasn't possible to call them. The cashier, Mr. Dinesh, remained silent throughout our conversation. 3. *Poor Communication*: The staff failed to communicate effectively, leaving us frustrated and disappointed. The management and staff at Picadore - Multi Cuisine Restaurant Lonavala need to focus on improving their service standards. As a customer, it's disheartening to experience such poor treatment. We hope the management takes our feedback seriously and takes necessary steps to prevent such incidents in the future.

4/5 food 3/5 service 3/5 ambience Indian food was just okay. Pastas were eally great! They have a buffet service also. Service was lousy, waited 20mins for a Pav Bhaji and the Pasta and Roti Sabji arrived in 15mins. Waited 5mins to get a straw for my drink

The taste was average and for the most part very basic with minimal ingredients especially their breakfast options and their other food items are average with very little taste. Prices are not worth the food. If you want to dine in, the restaurant is quite old and not well kept with unclean washbasins and old wooden rickety chairs. This is the only restaurant in MTDC so, guests have to revert to ordering from this restaurant especially during the monsoons.

Its a basic restaurant. Nothing special, food prices are way hight in comparison of service. Avoid.

Overall just an ok pure vegetarian restaurant on the way. Food was average bt seems to be degrading. Writing this review after third visit. Should be some AC or air cooled area for hot seasons. Waiter have an idiotic attitude towards service. The problem is no good veg restaurant near by so not much options.

Food is good. The Tea here is excellent. As an MTDC restaurant, the food is up to the mark. Ambience needs upkeep. The staff will accomodate special requests if you have a baby or old people with you. They gave us boiled eggs and hot milk upon request.

Discover a delightful blend of Indian and Asian flavors at the Asian Fusion restaurant, located in Lonavala. Nestled within the picturesque Fariyas Resort, this stylishly designed eatery offers a fine dining experience amidst lush gardens and scenic valley views. The menu boasts an array of delectable dishes, with recommendations including the Pasta Alfredo with Penne Pasta and exotic vegetables with bell pepper sauce. The attentive staff ensures excellent hospitality, making it a memorable dining experience for visitors.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fusion, and I must say, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, albeit with a few minor hiccups. **Service and Staff:** The service at Fusion is one of its strongest assets. The staff, though a bit slow, were exceptionally courteous and attentive. Special mention goes to Surajit, our server for the evening, who went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. While there were a couple of instances where we had to remind the staff about our drinks, their politeness and willingness to accommodate more than made up for the delay. **Food:** The food at Fusion was nothing short of spectacular. The Dal Makhani was truly a standout dish—rich, creamy, and absolutely to die for. It’s the kind of dish that you’ll find yourself craving long after your meal is over. The Naan was perfectly prepared, soft yet slightly crispy, and paired wonderfully with the Dal. The only slight letdown was the Masala Papad, which left a bit to be desired in terms of flavor and crispness. However, this was a minor flaw in an otherwise fantastic meal. **Ambience and Arrangements:** The ambience at Fusion is another highlight. The décor is tastefully done, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxed dining experience. The arrangements were comfortable, and the overall vibe of the place was both elegant and cozy, making it an ideal spot for a meal.

Pathetic. Not a single wash basin in the restaurant. You have go to the resorts common "washroom" basin attached to the toilet. Constant fight with flies while eating the food. Cockroach on the table.

Dhaba
Sunny Da Dhaba is a popular restaurant located on the Mumbai-Pune old highway, right across from Wet n Joy water park. It offers a typical dhaba experience with the ambiance of a 5-star hotel. The dining area is spacious and has both regular chair seating and traditional 'khatiya' with takiyas. The menu features delicious Punjabi cuisine including chicken and paneer starters, as well as main courses like chicken with roti and veg biryani.
The best food you can get on the old Mumbai Pune Highway. So many joints on this road, but for decades Sunny Da Dhaba still remains THE BEST ! TRY THEIR BUTTER CHICKEN . Huge portions and pocket friendly places. Ample play space for kids, lots of open air parking, clean washrooms,..makes this a planned halt for all on this road. Food Great..service Great.. what more does one look forward to. Review update : next day drove down from Lonavala for lunch. Their hospitality, generous portions, and superb food quality is why they continue to be the best halt on the old Mumbai Pune highway.

This was a pit stop just to grab a bite, but it became a full fledged lunch. We reached here at about 330pm on a Sunday afternoon. We were lucky it was not crowded. I personally do not go to very expensive food as I miss the local taste at such places. But this is a beautifully crafted place with excellent food. The food is definitely very steeply priced, but I think quality comes at a price. A meal for 4, will easily touch 2000. The food is also served in sufficiently quantity. The romali roti masala papad is a steal , and very recommended. I was so hungry, I forgot to take pictures of the menu and the food. The place has cots and tables as well, you can chose what you wish. Interestingly it serves alcohol and hookah, if you wish to. The side for alcohol and hookah, is on the other side, and you have to specify if you wish. It has also a paan shop, which I didn't want , so didn't try. If you are passing by, you should stop , if you are looking for punjabi food.

Sunny Da Dhaba is a roadside gem that delivers big on flavor and vibe. From buttery parathas to smoky tandoori delights, every bite bursts with authentic Punjabi zest. The rustic charm, friendly staff, and lip-smacking food make it a must-stop spot for hungry travelers and foodies alike.

Dhabha should remove from it and put resturant the way they put the food price is really over priced and costly in relation to the food quality and quantity. The people who want to have alcohol with food then its good place otherwise I don't think to pay such high amount just to eat normal food ....you find multiple options in Lonavala rather going to out of the way from the city. Rest ambience and service are good.

Update : After year again visited.. well known sunny da dhabha.. I have reduced one ⭐, as this time around staters was too dry and no teste at all, it was chicken banjara tikka, very dry and no masala at all .. it was really not good.. below avarage.. however main course was good .. just loved it.. both veg and non-veg ..dal khichadi was good too.. Best for sure. If you like punjabi dhaba style food.. Sure you will love it.. Ambiance : good and huge seating area.. Huge parking space, and huge air cooler to keep you cool in this hot summer.. Kids will have playing area with some adventure activity and temple for oldies.. Service : good quick service even though they have huge seating space.. Liked it. Also best thing is that captain know their own menu.. So they can suggest you as per taste.. Food : super mouth watering taste.. Had both veg and non veg items.. Had chicken sholey handi, chicken tava bhuna both super tendor chicken.. And typical punjabi taste.. Loved it.. Also had veg hara bhara masala.. Super thick spicy veg tikka masala main course.. Love roti thick soft slight crispy.. Also had dal tadaka and jeera rice.. Again good taste.. 😛👍 Yes bit on costlier side.. But still worth a visit if you are coming to lonavala.. Enjoy.. Like and follow me.. If you liked best and regular restaurant reviews..

I visited this café during my solo trip to Lonavala, just a day after my birthday. After doing some research, I found it to be one of the must-visit cafés in the area. It’s an open-air café with a subtle ambience and soft music playing in the background. The food is great, especially their desserts and pastries. Here’s what I ordered: 1. Grilled Chicken & Mushroom with Creamy Sage Sauce – ₹515 2. Mocha Frappe with Cream – ₹275 3. 8-Layer Ganache Torte – ₹285 Total Bill (as of 6/11/25): ₹1,128

Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. The service was also top-notch—staff were attentive, polite, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The food was absolutely fantastic! The tandoori was perfectly cooked, and the jalebi with rabdi was a delightful way to end the meal. Surprisingly, even the Chinese dishes were top-notch. The only downside was the service a bit slow and disorganized, so patience is needed. The dhaba has a mixed crowd of families and young groups, and there’s plenty of parking space, which is a big plus.

Kamat is a south Indian restaurant that offers delicious food at an affordable price. The staff is friendly and good spoken, making it a great place to eat in Lonavala.
We went for an office picnic in the morning and stopped at Kamat Green House Pure Veg Restaurant for breakfast. We had misal pav, vada pav, medu vada with sambar, dosa, and many other items. Every dish was tasty and freshly made. it was totally worth it! A must-visit place.

Visited the restaurant with family. The worst service I have ever experienced. You have to ask the waiter for every damn thing. When I asked for the Water bottle, the waiter brings only the bottle. For the glasses, you need to beg again. No mannerism.
Pramod P — Google review
The sambar served to us was, without exaggeration, the most watered-down version I’ve ever encountered — closer to tinted broth than the hearty, tangy staple it’s meant to be. As if that wasn’t disappointing enough, the staff member casually reached into his pant pocket to pull out spoons for us to eat with. When asked why, he said he was worried the spoons would be stolen. Odd. So one supposes that it was deemed better to serve spoons to us marinated in sweat and pocket dust. It was one of those moments where you don’t know whether to laugh at the absurdity or shudder at the sheer lapse in hygiene. The sad truth is, the food standards here have fallen drastically, and so it seems have the basic hygiene practices. What makes it sting even more is the fact that this used to be a place I cherished as a child — a spot I would look forward to visiting, with the kind of reverence only nostalgia can give. Back then, it felt like a world of flavour and comfort. Today, standing in the same space, it feels like a pale imitation of its former self. And so, with a heavy heart, I’ve decided I won’t be returning. Some memories are best preserved in the past rather than tarnished in the present.
Dr. B — Google review
⭐ 1/5 — Never visiting again I had one of the worst experiences at Kamat Green House in Lonavala. The moment we walked in, the attitude of the staff was appalling. The waiter was shockingly rude—no greeting, no courtesy, and absolutely no sense of hospitality. It felt like we were inconveniencing them just by being there. When we asked basic questions about the menu, the waiter responded with irritation and dismissiveness. No patience, no politeness—just pure arrogance. If this is how they treat paying customers, they seriously need to rethink their service standards. The food was average at best, and the atmosphere was soured by the staff’s behavior. There are plenty of better places in Lonavala where you’ll be treated with respect and served with a smile. This place? Not worth your time or money. Avoid unless you enjoy being treated like a burden.
