Seafood restaurant

East Bay Grille is an elegant waterfront eatery located in Plymouth, Massachusetts. It offers a fine dining experience with traditional New England seafood and steak options. The restaurant features a variety of dishes including lobster salad rolls, fish and chips, shrimp cocktail, lobster pie, Seafood Kristopher, seared ahi tuna, and their unique take on the classic lobster and crab Rangoon.
The oysters were incredibly fresh and the risotto balls were absolutely delicious — crispy on the outside and perfectly creamy inside. The seafood risotto was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Beautiful waterfront setting and great atmosphere — a wonderful spot to enjoy seafood and relax by the harbor.

East Bay Grill is a prime spot on Plymouth’s main waterfront street, perfectly situated for anyone looking to enjoy the charm of the harbor. The back patio they have, offers a stunning ocean view, where you can watch incoming boats, fishermen at work, and even spot some local sea life—it’s the perfect setting for celebrating special events, enjoying a casual meal with friends, or just dining with a view. it’s a really big hangout spot for locals at night too so if you plan on a low-key evening, this is probably not the spot for you. Service is always kind, quick, and reliable—they’ve never messed up an order in all the times I’ve dined with them. The food is fresh and showcases some of the best New England seafood around, though portion sizes can vary at times, like with their clam chowder shown. My only downside is that the indoor AC is often cranked up, making dining inside uncomfortably cold, but the overall experience—especially outside—can be hard to be in downtown Plymouth

I’m not a fan of the East Bay Grill because I had a couple of horrific food experiences. But we were in the area, it was a holiday and my favorite restaurant, The blue eyed crab was closed, so I figured I would give the Bay another chance and I’m so happy I did.!! We sat outside at the patio: it was just so beautiful and relaxing! We started off with the calamari, it was very good, cooked perfectly, not chewy and a perfect crunch! A pet peeve with calamari is when they give you half squid and half fried peppers, I didn’t order fried peppers. I ordered calamari.!! There was a few peppers, but not half the order( totally acceptable)🌶️🌶️👍 I ordered the lobster roll at market price. It was $39 totally worth it.! the lobster had the perfect amount of mayo and celery, and they didn’t fill the roll up with lettuce. The french fries were soft inside and crunchy outside and were very well seasoned. My husband got the swordfish BLT and he said it was delicious. The swordfish was tender and fresh and they didn’t lather it in sauce! Be warned though, it is messy! Service was just okay, she did her job, but her customer service skills need improvement. Overall I had a great time, food fabulous, atmosphere exceptional, service okay.

A nice spot for seafood on the waterfront. We overall enjoyed our food and drinks, but the experience on a whole didn’t really meet our expectations. The broiled seafood dishes were good, as was the lobster. The seafood risotto was tasty, but seemed like way too much risotto and not enough seafood for the price. The salad was wilted and overdressed. Desserts were also a little hit or miss, but we enjoyed the massive slice of carrot cake. It was incredibly busy (as expected for a weekend during the summer) but it still took a really long time for food to come out. At the end of our meal the place seemed to be turning more into a bar, and there was a huge line waiting to get in when we left. It’s definitely worth a try, but it wasn’t our vibe and was too expensive for the amount of seafood you actually got.

Had a great meal at East Bay Grille! We tried the lobster roll, kids’ chicken fingers, pasta primavera, the chicken sandwich and the seafood risotto — and everything was delicious. The pasta primavera was especially good, loaded with fresh vegetables and cooked perfectly. Portions were generous across the board, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and amount of food. Service was friendly and attentive. We sat out on the patio, which was lively, sunny, and a perfect spot to enjoy a summer day. Drinks were great too — a solid all-around experience. We’ll definitely be back!

We had our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at East Bay Grille & we can’t say enough about it! The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were huge! We had so much fun and the Alcove room was perfect for 35 guests. Gelany was super professional and responsive during the booking process and everything ran smoothly day of!

Headed to East Bay to share this waterfront favorite with my boyfriend. Although outdoor seating was not available due to the cool weather, we were thrilled to get a table right away anyway. Things worked out for the best. We had incredible service right off the bat from our server, Maleek. He was friendly, warm, and fun, and made sure that we had a great night. When there was a mix up with my order, Maleek apologized and remedied the issue immediately, even going the extra mile to treat us to a second round of drinks ( my blueberry vojito was delicious!) The appetizers (calamari and crab & lobster rangoons ). were amazing, as well as our entrees (steak tips and pistachio salmon). Maleek even sent us home with a tiramisu I am still dreaming about. Hospitality and authenticity like Maleek’s are rare, so we wanted to thank him for an entertaining and great date night. We’ll be back in his section soon!

This place is more upscale. It is right on the water. We did not realize they had free valet parking, and we struggled to find a place to park and then had to locate the little box to pay for our spot. Oh my gosh, the good here was so good. The prices were very reasonable and it was a lot of food. They also serve bread prior to your meal. Everything was so fresh and tasted good. The lobster mac and cheese is the way to go! Loaded with lobster and so creamy. The lobster was easy to crack and eat and comes with 2 sides (a lot of food for $35). Wowza, the chicken salad was enough for 3 people. The clam chowder was a full bowl and hot. It has a delicious roux and comes with oyster crackers.

I saw the 2k awesome reviews and knew this was going to be awesome. It was. Not frills but who cares.. the food was top notch and fresh. Great value for what you get. Lobster 🦞 bisque top 3 ever. Chunky.

This was a truly terrific place for lunch! The line was relatively short even on a busy Sunday afternoon and we were through it in about 10 minutes. Our food was ready in about another 10 minutes. The cashier was friendly and pleasant. There were tables available for our party of 4 without having to wait for 1 to be freed up. The tables were clean, too. Soda fountain dispensers were in the seating area for access to refills. All in all, the space was very clean and well-maintained including the washrooms. Finally, the food was absolutely delicious! This was the first meal of our vacation and it set a high bar. We ordered fried clams, fried shrimp, and fried fish. The batter on all of them was crispy but not heavy. And the fried fish was especially yummy. Portion sizes were great compared to the cost. I really feel we got a decent amount of food for what we spent. I highly, highly recommend making it a point to stop by here if you are in town and looking for delicious seafood.

Great place to stop by for lunch! Large menu offered and food delicious. We got there minutes after opening and there were already 4-5 tables of people seated and the line at the counter to order was 6 people deep. You ordered at the counter, picked up your food when your number is called and clear your tray. There wasn’t really service. Tables were not being wiped down by staff in between customers. The whole place was a little run down. Seemed like a lot of people placed to go orders. But, nice views of the water. There are a few parking spots for customers right in front of the restaurant, but also paid parking nearby.

If you want fresh seafood in Plymouth this is the place to try. Plus you can’t beat the water views.. The muscles, The halibut and fried oysters were amazing.
Nick P — Google review
Nice small cafe where you can come in causally, get in and out, and go about your day. Food was out quick and you can taste how fresh it was. While getting the fried platter, you can still taste the difference. Definitely recommend this place for a quick bite.

I generally do not eat twice at the same restaurant on vacation, but the seafood here was so good, we came back the next nite?? We had the shrimp dinner and ordered fish on the side and everything was absolutely delicious, the fries too! It is a little cramped inside, but that didn't affect our dinner. Highly recommend it!
Cindy K — Google review
Worth the wait in line. We also waited for a table but one opened up right before we got our food. Fantastic lobster roll. Prices were the most economical we've seen.
Mike J — Google review
Like other reviewers, we ended up going here more than once during our vacation because of the quality and value. The fish in the fish and chips was absolutely the best that I have ever had anywhere -- fresh, juicy fish in a feather-light batter. Great view of the docks, friendly staff. I never ever buy things like restaurant t-shirts and I would consider buying one from here because I am that big of a fan. Also, the coleslaw was perfection. If you want good, simple food at a great place, highly recommend.

Tavern On The Wharf is a laid-back restaurant nestled in Plymouth, MA, USA, offering a seafood-centric menu that showcases the finest and freshest local seafood. With its harbor views and patio seating, it provides a delightful dining experience for seafood enthusiasts. In addition to its delectable cuisine, the restaurant is also known for its craft cocktails and fast foods.
Tavern On The Wharf was a great stop! We were seated right away, no wait at all, and our server Mia was fantastic—super friendly and helpful. The buffalo chicken dip was hot, cheesy, and packed with flavor. The burger was tasty, and I appreciated the gluten-free bun option. The kids’ cheese pizza was unexpectedly large—basically a full pizza, which was a great surprise. The margarita flight was colorful and tropical, with watermelon, guava, and strawberry flavors. The oysters were smaller than expected for $3 apiece, but still fresh and enjoyable. Overall, we left full and satisfied—for about $80 total. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Today, I decided to grab some takeout from Tavern on the Wharf. I’ve been here a few times before with no issues.. until today. I ordered the California Chicken Sandwich and I emphasize sandwich because nowhere on the menu does it indicate it’s served open-faced. When I opened my meal (thankfully not far from the restaurant), I found half of the sandwich, the melted cheese and chicken completely stuck to the inside the to-go box lid. When I tried to remove it, the paper lining from the box came off with the cheese. Obviously, I wasn’t about to eat a sandwich with paper melted into it, so I returned to the restaurant. I spoke with the same hostess I had just seen, and she told me a new sandwich would be made. That seemed like a reasonable solution.. or so I thought. When I got back to my car and took a look before leaving, I was extremely disappointed to find that the sandwich had not been remade. Instead, the original sandwich, the same one with the melted cheese and paper had simply been transferred into a new box, with the cheese shifted and re-melted (along with an extra slice), and the top bun placed on as if it were fresh. At that point, I went back in a third and final time, now clearly frustrated. I spoke with a different hostess, explained the entire situation again, and was asked if I wanted another sandwich. At that point, I declined. After being served the same **contaminated food** twice, I no longer had any trust that the kitchen would correct the issue. I requested and received a refund. I’m sharing this so others are aware and make sure to double-check their takeout orders. This happened on a Saturday around 3 PM. Honest mistakes happen, but serving food with packaging stuck in it, then trying to pass off the exact same food as “new,” is unacceptable, unprofessional, and disappointing.

It's a hip place on the water, I guess. I came to the patio bar first bc I like being outside and asked if I could order a meal out there and she said yes but she couldn't serve drinks because she didnt have any out there yet. So I decided to go in and wait for a table. Both hostesses were aloof and unfriendly, so I just asked if I could get a seat at the bar, and they said yes, so I went and found one (there were several open). Waited almost 10 minutes to even get a menu and ask for a drink order, and in that time, I saw two other parties leave from the bar out of frustration without being served. So when I finally did get a menu, I decided not to get any drinks and just o my order to go. It took another 20 minutes for a grilled chicken sandwich and side salad. The guy next to me noticed how many people weren't being served, and he told me he decided he wasn't going to order a meal like several others. I did get my takeout sandwich finally, and while it was packaged nicely, there were no utensils in it, and I had to ask for them. As for the food, the salad had tons of wilted greens in it, but the greens that were fresh were pretty tasty. The sandwich was cold, which is weird because I went to eat it only about 4 minutes after she brought it to me (and that's including the couple minutes waiting for the silverware. Also, it was supposed to have a Chipotle ranch on it, and there was ZERO trace of Chipotle, let alone any other trace of a condiment. I would try them again because I never judge on just one visit, and if so, I will amend or post a new review, however, for the time being, I wasnt too impressed with the food or service. One positive note, though, I specifically chose this place after looking at several menus in the area. The prices were a few $ cheaper for some of the same items at other places, so I will give them that.

Worst of dining ever…I wish the manager would have felt properly so that I did not have to say anything. This is a photo of our nachos that we waited an hour an a half for. they were not even properly cooked raw cheese all over the chips but we were so hungry after waiting an hour for an appetizer we had to eat it. The manager did nothing to remedy the situation. We put our whole order in at 6 and did not get food until 7:30. The waiter said the kitchen lost our ticket about 45 minutes after we sat and asked where our food was and we had to repeat the whole order over again. The waiter was clearly confused and under the influence. We had to go get our own utensils and because the waiter was confused we ordered our own drinks at the bar instead. It was not even a busy night. Really sad and disappointing experience. More to write but I’m sure my party will also be complaining.
Salissa K — Google review
A hot buttered roll for $40 was under meat and a little soggy so if you’re thinking of a lobster roll, I would pass the oysters were great. The fried pickles were wonderful and the fried calamari was delicious great atmosphere right downtown they had cornhole in the back. They have enough seating. The Waite staff was overworked so we could not complain, but she was very accommodating.

Gotta love seaside dining in Plymouth! We wanted to try someplace new, so the first reason to go to TOTW is location, location, location! We sat on the patio outside facing the ocean, just like we wanted. I was happy to try a margarita flight, which I discovered thanks to another Google review/picture. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get my first choice, seafood Alfredo, but the Sole Picatta was great with roasted fingerling potatoes, garlicy green beans, capers and lemon wheel. The kids fish and chips was reasonably priced and she ate all of the fish, which is great because the kid is a very picky eater! TOTW may not be a safe bet if time is a factor, but if you're in no rush, I would say it's worth the wait! There was some miscommunication initially but our server Kayla(?) was very nice and I'm a proactive guest so it all worked out. We intend to return and hopefully I will be able to try the seafood Alfredo. I used to order that from The Fours in Quincy years ago. I hope it's as good as I remember🤞 *I almost forgot to mention the live music! That was a very nice way to end the meal.

The food overall was quite good, with the raw bar being a standout highlight—both the tuna and oysters were incredibly fresh and flavorful, showcasing the restaurant’s attention to quality seafood. However, I was slightly disappointed with the cod risotto. While the presentation was appealing, the dish didn’t quite meet my expectations in terms of flavor balance or texture. It felt like it could have used a bit more seasoning or a touch of creativity to match the excellence of the other menu items That said, the ambience and service were outstanding. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming vibe, perfect for a relaxed evening by the water. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care about the dining experience. Overall, I’d happily recommend Tavern on the Wharf, especially for seafood lovers. I’d return for the raw bar and the great atmosphere, but might explore other main courses next time
Jerry B — Google review
Sat at the bar and ordered a dozen oysters and a Quahog Stuffy. It took 45 minutes for it all to come out. The oysters were good, but not shucked properly for easy removal of the meat. Also, the size to price ratio is sad ($3 per oyster). The stuffy came out and, while it was good, was a little bit above lukewarm. Our bartender was friendly and apologized for the delay. FOH was on top of everything where it seemed like BOH was severely lacking in manpower and efficiency. Will not be returning.

Rye Tavern is housed in a charming 1770's building, exuding a romantic and rustic ambiance. The menu changes every seven weeks to incorporate fresh produce from its half-acre farm, infusing traditional American dishes with seasonal ingredients. With a farmer on staff and the Rye Garden just steps away, the restaurant prides itself on its farm-to-table concept, using freshly harvested produce and local ingredients in their creative menu and handcrafted cocktails.
A friend recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. I visited on the weekend, and since I was by myself, I decided to sit out in the bar area outside. The bartender was amazing. Service was excellent, the atmosphere is cozy, and the food is excellent. I had a mocktail (Garden Spritz), and it was amazing. Definitely recommend. And for brunch, I had the B.E.C. it was amazing and so fresh. I will definitely be back.

Rye Tavern is a cozy spot! They have incredible drinks & food. The service is great as well - the staff are very welcoming & friendly. It's a small spot, so I'd suggest making a reservation ahead of time. They have a really nice outdoor patio & bar as well. Highly recommend!

Found this gem looking for a place to eat with a dog on a whim and boy, wish we had known about it before! The staff at every level were fantastic, the host was super helpful and seated us immediately in an incredible outdoor “gazebo” which was a private dining area on the patio with siding and heaters. It was decorated beautifully overlooking the garden and felt cozy. Our server Denise was incredible, she was happy to explain more about the restaurant, menu and was really enjoyable. She offered a bowl for our dogs water and mentioned they can make him a burger (much to his thrill). She was great at checking in as needed without making us feel rushed. The food runner was super friendly and sweet too. Service was extremely prompt but also did not feel rushed. The cocktails were really good, recommend the sparrow house old fashioned and espresso martini. The menu is short but everything seems planned thoughtfully. We had the swordfish and salmon, both with sides that we were not used to with such dishes but well worth it. Everything was so good we got desert, a sundae that was peanut buttery and chocolatey. We did not go inside but really look forward to our next visit.

A hidden gem 💎 located off a dirt road near the Pine Hills. I was amazed by the flowered landscape, cabana covered tables, tables with umbrellas, inside dining, outside ambiance or the large outdoor open air bar with plenty of seating. The food was delicious and the presentation was superb. Definitely returning again.

Lovely historical tavern recommended to us by our host. Didn’t disappoint. BYOB which was good to have as we had been wine tasting in the Hudson area prior to our visit. Corkage a little steep but probably on par with others in the area.

Great historical tavern, it was nice to be a part of this history. We didn’t eat, but every person that walked out the door talked about how delicious their food was. The Barmaid was very friendly and attentive. The cocktail menu was extensive and again the Barmaid said that if it wasn’t on the menu, she could probably make it if we asked. Very cute cottage like facility. We’d go back and recommend this tavern 100%.. cheers! ……Follow me and my travels on instagram if you like at #mylifemyterms55

The steakhouse boasts ample indoor seating and strikes the perfect balance between upscale dining and a cozy atmosphere. With excellent customer service and elegant decor, it promises an exceptional dining experience for visitors.
We have been here before, but was really pleasantly surprised to walk in and see that they renovated. The place is absolutely gorgeous. They thought of everything extremely clean everywhere. No detail went unnoticed. Bathrooms were kept super clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Everyone was very pleasant and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing, not too salty but plenty flavorful. The salad bar was kept very nice and clean. The dining room itself was beautifully designed. Music was on but not too loud. Our two waitresses were absolutely terrific Rataela and Kamila so sweet. The whole staff were full of smiles and went above and beyond. Can’t wait to get back soon

Anniversary dinner. Everything was top notch. Place was packed, however, the service made it feel like we were the only ones there! The food was beyond good. The buffet had so many delicious options that I simply couldn't try all the meat options because we got too full. The price was so good, it was surprising how much we got for such a good price. We had cocktails, endless food, dessert, and fancy coffees. Can't wait to come back!

Our favorite steakhouse. Have been coming for years now worth the 45 minute drive. Came in on Sunday and they have just recently renovated and it looks awesome. Cozy atmosphere. The meats are always fresh and perfectly seasoned. Have to take an extra piece of their garlic bread because it is so good! Another great experience we will be back again!

I've been coming here for 10+ years and was able to finally visit after the renovation; it is stunning! The food is STILL out of this world, and now they have a nice little ambiance to go with it. When you visit, they make you feel like family, and to see their growth in the last decade has been a pleasure. These folks really deserve to be successful; and the quality of food, paired with the impeccable service is a recipe for success. Everyone from the bartenders and waitstaff, even the busboys are so kind and welcoming. Please keep doing what you are doing, because you are our go too place for dinner if we decide to dine out for the night!

Went for first time on a Saturday night for a 16th birthday. We had a reservation and were seated within a few minutes. Our waiter came over quickly and told us about the restaurant and took drink orders. Drinks came out quickly, I had a mojito and it was so good!! Garlic bread was the first option to come around and it was so good! Best garlic bread I've had. Everyone raved about the meats and the salad bar had great options like plantains, sweet potatoes, squash, salads and so much more. The grilled pineapple was a very popular choice at our table and the staff was happy to bring it by many times for us. The staff was so friendly and brought out any specific meats we were looking for. All the staff came over and sang happy birthday. We all enjoyed it. Space was limited in there, so I would suggest a reservation.

Family restaurant
Lobster Hut is a beloved seafood market and restaurant located in Manomet village on Manomet Point. It has been a staple in the community for over 5 decades, known for its pre-made lobster rolls, chowders, and locally caught seafood. The spot offers stunning bay views from its deck, making it a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.
Spent the evening strolling Plymouth then stopped at The Lobster Hut to have a fried seafood smorgasbord for dinner.🦞 🛖 We chose the Fisherman's Platter for two, which comes with fresh fish, clams, scallops and shrimp, deep fried in fresh oil. They were breaded perfectly and the portion was huge! The swordfish nuggets were the best nugget I've had the pleasure of eating. A beautiful, cloud-filled sky over Plymouth Harbor made for a very picturesque setting. I'm not sure the next time I'll be visiting Plymouth, but I know I'll be stopping back at The Lobster Hut when I do!

The best New England Clam Chowder around. Rich, creamy, full of clams. Awesome Stuffed Quahog. The whole lobsters were perfect. Lobster Bisque & Fried Shrimp were also outstanding. There is a reason they've won so many awards.

This is one of our favorite seafood places when visiting Plymouth. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The outdoor patio is a wonderful spot to enjoy your meal next to the ocean. Although we live on the west coast, we always stop by here when visiting this area. We highly recommend it!
Lori G — Google review
We really enjoyed the food here, the fish & shrimp, clam chowder & calamari were excellent. The food came quickly with just short waiting time. The restaurant has its own parking area only for customers. There are outdoor tables with a nice sea view. Afterward, we went down at the back of the restaurant to see the port & boats. Overall, a great spot for good food & relaxing seaside vibes.

Some of the best seafood in the Plymouth area. IMO From fish, to clams, lobsta etc. Market price yet worth it. Nice people here very helpful. Very clean bathroom! Highly recommend TY

I was impressed. Good quality lobster with quick service and reasonable prices. Nice variety on the menu. Would definitely return here.

OMG, I had never eaten a lobster roll, and I now believe I could live on them. The food was excellent, leaving me want more. The other travelers all remarked about how good their selections were. The lady who took our orders was friendly, very funny, and she could have been my new best friend if I decided to stay in the Boston area. Nice to have cheerful folks, who care if your enjoying yourself.

42º North Restaurant, located in Plymouth's Manomet area, is a modern bar and grill offering a delightful culinary experience. The spot stands out for its diverse menu featuring fresh local seafood and American classics like prime rib and chicken wings. With exceptional service and an inviting ambiance, it seamlessly blends freshness, quality, and taste to create an unforgettable gastronomic journey.
Stopped in for some good seafood and they did not disappoint! This popular spot has a big menu for everyone to enjoy. They have seafood, steak and chicken in a range of dishes. Everything was fresh and delicious. They were busy Sat night but we only had about 20min wait for a table. The staff moved quickly to take care of everyone. The butter, oil and herb bread dipping sauce and fresh made bread was a great touch. Really unique dipping sauce. I had the Salmon, which was about perfectly cooked with lots of flavor. The shrimp and scallops duo has really big shrimp. The lobster corn chowder had a nice peppery spice and some of the biggest lobster chunks in a soup you'll find. The space is older with low ceilings so the noise level can get a bit high, but its not that bad and calms down.

Wow! So good!! Need I say more? Stopped in for dinner with friends. Nice, clean, good size, well lit restaurant with nice big bar. Spacious seating. Great menu. Greeted pleasantly at the door by the hostess. Sat down table for four. Wait service was great! Our waitress, Rebecca, was excellent, attentive, friendly, polite, courteous and professional. Food and drinks all perfectly prepared, absolutely delicious and plentiful. Good amount for the price. Old fashions are awesome. Ordered the sautéed mussels with white wine for appetizer. Finger licking good and tender (sorry no pic. Got devoured quickly) For entrees, we ordered the New England fried platter, twin Maryland crabcakes and the grilled marinated beef tips. Again all perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Definitely will return to try the other items on the menu.

A nice spot for great seafood! We came here with family visiting from out of state and everyone enjoyed the fresh and delicious food and drinks. The stuffed shrimp were excellent and the portions were huge. It got a little loud sitting inside, but they also have a nice outdoor deck. Our server was friendly and patient with our larger group. We’d definitely go back!
Madeline K — Google review
Took a family member who was on vacation here for dinner. They serve a nice cross section of classic New England seafood (with their own twist) and comfort food. I go to a lot of restaurants. At least two per week, but normally more. This was, without a doubt, some of the best food I've had at a restaurant in years. Everything was made really well and, was fresh, and tasted fantastic. The stuffed quohog was a little salty, but the sauce they included was a literal 10. The salmon was fantastic, the baked scrod was perfect, and the meatloaf was genuinely the best I have ever had. The tater tots poutine with shirtrib is one of the best apps ive had in years. If you go here, get this! The portions were quite large, and the service was great. It is a very busy weekend (Memorial Day Sunday), but we got our food in a very reasonable amount of time. The bread pudding was served in a very generous portion and was better than my mother's. I had heard good things about this place, but I had no idea it was going to be this good. I will be a regular from now on. I would have added more pics, but the food was so good I got excited and ate it before taking pictures.
Casey A — Google review
Delicious food, and almost always crowded during dinner time. I had the scallop and shrimp special, and my dining partner is both had the striped sea bass special, both were excellent. There is indoor seating, but also a really nice outdoor bar area, which is first come first serve. We decided to sit inside at the bar, but it would have been nice and either location.
Daniel K — Google review
My husband and I went out to dinner here tonight with family. Overall fantastic time but it was a bit loud so it was a little hard to talk to each other at times. The food was fantastic- my husband loved his lobster mac and cheese, I very much enjoyed my pork chop with the heavenly apricot risotto and grilled asparagus, and our family enjoyed their steak tips as well. The fish tanks are so fun to watch. Love the lil puffer fish he is so cute! Waitresses/hostesses were are super nice and very attentive. Packed up our leftovers for us with care. Aside from the loudness the only other things to note was that my asparagus was a bit less tender than I typically prefer but still very tasty and my dad's steak tips were a bit less cooked than he would prefer but otherwise everything was delightful. We definitely plan to come back sometime! As an added bonus a gentleman in the parking lot just outside the restaurant who was talking to an employee as we were walking outside let me, my husband, and my stepmom hold his adorable little 8 week old puppy, the cherry on top of an already great night. :)

Good food! Our server was not the best but not horrible. I've been here twice. Would have loved to have made it again on this trip. We will be back again! I had the poke bowl. It was delicious. We had a reservation and had no wait.

Most delicious dinner. Christine, the bartender, made us the best Old-fashioned drinks and made the night even more special with her friendly face, pleasant attitude and sense of humor. We ordered the Rib-eye and seafood casserole. Amazing! Probably one of the best meals we have had there. The meal was topped off with an absolutely delicious chocolate cake for my birthday! I would much rather pay $200 for a delicious meal than $100 on a meal at a pub with a grumpy bartender.

Seafood market
Rock Bottom Seafood in Plymouth is a no-frills seafood spot that has been a beloved establishment for nearly four decades. In 2021, Chef Dave Todisco and his family took over, bringing innovation while preserving its family-run charm. The cabbyshack offers gorgeous views, ample seating under the sun, live music, and incredibly fresh seafood. The menu includes New England classics like chowder and lobster rolls.
Hopped down for a late lunch after a walk @ White Horse Beach. Kelly got a Grilled Salmon Sandwich and I did a Whole Belly Clam Roll. Yum! We ordered a side of Truffle Fries. They were great but overkill on top of the fries that came with our lunch. Loved the vibe and the help of it our server. Brought home the Tomato Salad and Shrimp Pasta Salad. It was great the next day. Can't believe it took so long to try RB. Won't wait so long the next time.

Everything was pretty good. Seafood platter for 2 was very large but clams were a bit fishy. Greek salad was also very large, enough for 2 people, we got shrimp on it. Smashburger was good and fries were crispy. Lobster bisque Was very good.

Unfortunately, I believe this will be our last time going to this place for seafood. We live an actual 4 to 5 minutes away. We were not late for our order and were fourth in line. We drove immediately home to enjoy it. We did not. You do expect a certain amount of quality and prep. It's just not there anymore at this establishment. We got the fisherman's platter for two. Not thrilled with the fries as they were stale in appearance, taste and not even room temp. The fish was okay but barely warm. Mind you, like I said we are a literal 4 to 5 minutes away from this place and went immediately home and were not late for our order even being fourth in line.

The Seafood Shanty is a charming eatery located in Bournedale, open since 1992 and previously a seasonal clam shack dating back to the 1950s. This family-owned establishment offers a delectable array of seafood, including lobster rolls, fried clams, fish sandwiches, burgers, and ice cream. The restaurant prides itself on daily deliveries of fresh seafood and provides prompt service with friendly staff.
Such a great place for really great fast food! Clam strips and fish and chips were absolutely amazing as was the clam chowder! Great view of the bridge and after you eat you can park in the visitor area across the street and walk the canal! Will definitely be back! CASH only! ATM on site!
Jen S — Google review
Food was delicious, portions were amazing, prices on Google are out of date. The lobster roll was fantastic, a good hearty portion. Fried fish was light and fresh, onion rings and fries were nothing to write home about but the tartar sauce makes everything better. We ordered a selection of items from the menu including the broiler side, all of it was fairly good. Warning to all patrons, restaurant is CASH ONLY but they do have an ATM. Lastly, there is a shortage of belly clams all dishes involving them are $3 more currently.
Andrew B — Google review
The biggest and most delicious lobster rolls with an awesome view! Love coming here for the lobster roll and other delicious seafood treats. Fries are perfect as well. Plus, they are allergy helpful. Fast service, delicious food, unbeatable view and plenty of seating and parking.
Martina — Google review
Excellent food and what a great way to start your cape cod vacation. Service is pretty quick. You just order and grab a table and they’ll call your number. A lot of seating area. A good amount of parking also. We got the clam chowder and it was delicious. It’s not the creamy typical clam chowder people are used to eating. It is more soup than a chowder. It was very good. The lobster roll is huge. I suggest asking for an extra roll and splitting the lobster onto two rolls. The scallops were ok but lacking a little bit of seasoning is the only thing. They are cash only business, and they have an ATM on site.
Jane K — Google review
One of the best experiences I’ve had trying a lobster roll. My mother and I split the roll which was an amazing idea because I was at first nervous on whether it would be enough to share between two, but obviously it is. The lobster salad is stuffed to the highest point which makes the price more reasonable and appealing. The only downfall is that this is a cash only business; however there is an ATM on the premise it would’ve just been helpful to know beforehand. Though the cash only option did not take away from the overall experience. I’m excited to go back!
Nadirah R — Google review
As a Cape Cod Native who grew up eating seafood shanty since the 90s as a kid, the food was decent but I was underwhelmed. The fish was very fresh, but the batter lacked overall flavor. I always order extra tartar and extra lemon. I was shocked to hear they don’t offer fresh lemons, but lemon juice in a packet which is not even comparable. It tasted like lemonade on the fish, without the fresh tangy kick that a lemon gives. Outside of cape cod this would be acceptable, but I feel that here, in a seasonal town that’s know for its fresh seafood, the toppings should be the same. It absolutely should be served with fresh squeezable lemons. I looked to the tartar sauce for that zing, but for my taste, it was entirely too sweet. The customer behind us ordered a clam plate and sat down 10 mins after us. She took two bites and proceeded to throw the entire plate in the trash and leave. The pros were fast service, fresh food, and shaded picnic tables. The price was very reasonable, but I have to say I would gladly pay prices comparable to the mid to outer cape to get fresh lemons, more fish and fries, and onion rings included.
Michael C — Google review
Great atmosphere and location. Service was fast. I had a lobster grilled cheese, fries, and cheese burger with all the fixins. Fries pretty salty. Lobster grilled cheese weirdly shaped. Cheese wasn't melted all the way. 3/5 not the best item on the menu. The burger though. Whomever was on the grill was making magic. Seafood shanty really should be burger shanty because the burger was amazing. Perfectly grilled, prepared, good size for price.
Joseph G — Google review
A must visit! Get cash before you come! (But they have an ATM with a 3$ fee) This was our first stop after driving in from Boston Logan Airport and we were hungry-we had the lobster rolls with fries, fish sandwich and fries, fish and chips, fried clam strip roll and fries, and a stuffed quahog clam. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! It is a little pricey but hey it’s Cape Cod so you kind of have to expect that.

What a fantastic restaurant located in the heart of Plymouth, Massachusetts. We ordered a number of different dishes for the table tonight, and each one was great. The service was excellent as well. Salt is definitely one of the best restaurants in town. We would highly recommend it here!

Came for date night - wish we came here sooner! Everything was absolutely delicious. Went on a Sunday night so it wasn't super busy, definitely think that contributed to a positive atmosphere. The waygu tataki was my favorite of our "appetizers". I think the udon was a special, but it was fantastic. The smashburger absolutely crushed my craving for a burger it was perfect. The fries were great too, salty and crisp. Highly recommend, don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu!

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Salt Raw Bar — a true gem! From the moment we arrived, the location set the tone: coastal charm meets elevated elegance. Now, the food — incredible. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, bold flavors. The oysters were pristine and the creative small plates left us wanting more (in the best way). This place is a standout — the kind of spot you can’t wait to come back to and bring friends. Five stars all around!

Stopped by Salt for some dinner. Wow... it was great. Sat at the bar and started with a Vitamin Sea Elusive on draft. Nice Hazy beer. Moved onto the Shrimp Tempura appetizer, and it was absolutely fantastic. Finally had Johnny's smash burger and it was great as well. Comes with thin fries. Very good overall experience.

Atmosphere was a little loud (we were in the covered area so maybe that's why) but the staff was very nice. The food and drinks were wonderful!!! We were 9 and split a bunch of plates which worked out great and was actually relatively affordable for the quality and deliciousness of the food. I would happily go back again!

Excellent food. Very pricey but very worth it. Many gluten free options. They are not marked, but the waitstaff is knowledgeable and was able to mark the menu (anything with a dot in the photo can be made or is naturally gluten free). The food is absolutely out of this world — we got fried rice and green curry to share and highly recommend. Portions are generous and meant to share. It was hard to choose what we wanted but we were not disappointed and can’t wait to go back.

I've been here a few times over the years and it's always super good. Staff is super nice and it's really laid back. You can make reservations I think and they have live music too. I like sitting on the patio in the sun. Drinks so good food awesome

This place is hidden away, we only knew about it from friends. We met for lunch and sat by the bar. The atmosphere is very relaxed and everyone seemed to be having a good time either chatting , eating or watching the game. We had the thanksgiving sandwich , which was huge and came with fries and some gravy. The pink lemonade was really refreshing. The server was friendly and food was brought out promptly, I would definitely visit again and would advise anyone to give this place a try.
Andy M — Google review
We’d heard great things about ThreeV and waited a while to try it, but found it wasn’t really anything special. I really enjoyed the wagyu mayflower burger, but my partner didn’t really like the margherita pizza. They had live music in the one room which was nice, but they didn’t have speakers or anything to bring it to the other room so you could only hear it faintly. The bar side with the music looked really cool but the dining room side we were sat in somehow felt cheaply put together like it was trying too hard to be upscale. Our server was friendly and helpful. It was a nice meal overall and we had a good time, but it just didn’t feel worth the price.
Madeline K — Google review
It's in an industrial area down by the railroad tracks. A bit hard to find as they need more signage on the road we came in through. Food was incredible!! Can't wait to go back. The service was above average and the atmosphere was a bit loud but you could hold a conversation. Nice set up. Just wish the patio had been open. It was a beautiful afternoon..

Waited a long time to try this place & was mildly disappointed. Didn’t find it to be any thing special. I will say the raviolis seemed homemade & were delicious, portion size was sort of lacking though. Thought it was a bit pricey for what we got. Drinks were good!

We stopped in for a quick lunch and we were not disappointed! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The drinks had such unique names to them that definitely had me intrigued. The food was just phenomenal. I wasn't expecting a restaurant right next to quincy college to be any good especially since the Black Raspberry was extremely disappointing, but ThreeV was just on another level of delicious. Will definitely be going back to try more of what they have to offer.

3V always seems to be busy, but I feel like there may not be enough staff to keep up. Servers are very nice, just slow. That said the food was great - mussels and chicken cordon Bleu sandwich with crispy fries. Love the industrial feel of the bar area I 'd come back in the warmer weather to check out the patio.

4.5 rating. Had their lobster salad roll box, ready to assemble. Lobster was probably from the pots in the ocean right below. Lobster salad was delicious, but it was a regular hot dog bun instead of a buttery brioche bun, so that's why I knocked it down.

The shop is really nice, Love the location! The views are amazing! The bisque was delish! They only had 13 oysters left, but I scooped them all up, they were very fresh!

Wow, wow, wow! What a wonderful surprise! We actually drove here for the view, which didn't disappoint. We were curious about the lobster, so we bought some cooked lobster and spinach artichoke dip. We had crackers with dip and lobster, which made our brief stop almost epic! The lobster was AMAZING! I recommend making this place your destination for yummy lobster!

Ocean fresh fish at a reasonable price. Just behind the Pound is a neglected memorial to three Coast Guard seamen who lost their lives while trying to rescue survivors of the boat Robert E lee that sank after striking rocks southeast of this location in 1928.
