Seafood restaurant
Nestled by the serene waters of Cape Cod Bay, Sesuit Harbor Cafe is a quintessential seafood shack that captures the essence of New England dining. With its charming outdoor picnic tables overlooking Northside Marina, this spot is perfect for enjoying fresh coastal cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. The star of the menu is undoubtedly their renowned lobster roll, served on a buttery New England-style bun and accompanied by crispy fries and homemade coleslaw.
Came here on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend around lunchtime. Very long line, but worth the wait for this cash only establishment. It took about 20 minutes to put in our food order and it came out shortly thereafter. We also went to the raw bar to order soups which they poured for us right there. The clam chowder was scalding hot, but delicious. The lobster bisque was too thin with no bits of lobster in it so we’ll pass on it in the future. We sat outside at the picnic tables and our food came out within 10 minutes of putting our order in it at the counter. Not much to say other than it’s delicious fried seafood! Incredibly popular, so expect to wait a while around lunchtime. The interior has a cool fisherman’s vibe, but you don’t really spend much time in there aside from ordering.

The best combination of food taste, quality, price, and atmosphere on the cape. The line can be long but it moves pretty quick and even when it’s busy it’s easy to get a picnic table. The lobster roll is delicious, but honestly the star of the show might be the HUGE seared tuna sandwich. Also really enjoyed the fried clam plate better then the comber and macs IMO. Pro tip: bring a cooler with some adult beverages for your group to enjoy the sunset as the boats roll in. Pro tip: cash only but there’s an ATM Pro tip: if you want raw bar or soups you can go around the back and get in a way shorter line

This place was just okay. I would not come back here again especially considering how long the line always is. We came at 3:30pm as per advice to come at an off time to avoid the line and the line was still super long. We ended up leaving and coming back at 8:30am and there was no line. The breakfast food is just okay. It’s not really anything to rave about. It’s diner food but without the classic diner griddle tastiness. We also obviously had to try the lobster roll since everyone says it’s the best lobster roll on the cape. I had a better and bigger one at a different restaurant in the cape the day before and this was my first time in the cape! So it’s definitely not the best around, and not something I would come back for and stand in line for 1 hour for. I really don’t understand the hype about the food. The atmosphere is wonderful. Love the view from the backyard patio with the picnic tables. Absolutely gorgeous, can’t beat it.

**CASH ONLY** This place is pretty well known and as a result the line can get pretty long pretty fast. My advice? Come right before lunch (I recall it was 11am?) and just wait until they switch to the lunch menu. We got served pretty quick through this method. Outdoor seating only! Items we ordered (as of 9/2025). - Lobster Roll - $37.38 - Fantastic! If you're coming here you have to get this. A lot of lobster with great flavor. I would highly recommend this. - Mahi Sandwich - $23.36 - This wasn't bad but nothing special. Was hoping for more flavor from the fish. I would give this a pass. - Onion Rings - $9.35 - I'm a sucker for onion rings and these were delicious. Great batter and well seasoned. I would 100% order this again. - Clam Chowder - $6.54 - Pretty good but nothing special for us. - Scallop Plate - $23.36 - Delicious and recommended. Scallops were cooked perfectly. - Lobster Cake - $16.82 - Very good. You can really taste the lobster in the patty. Only wish they gave us more than 1! Overall if you're in the area I would definitely make the trip over here. Just plan to arrive early!
Bob L — Google review
Hands down the best lobster roll we had in the area! It’s no surprise this place is a go-to spot—the line wrapped around the building at lunchtime. That said, they’re well-prepared for the crowds, and the line moved quickly. The location is also perfect for families. There’s a small sandy area with rocks where the kids played while we waited, making the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. They are CASH ONLY, just keep that in mind before you visit.
Meredith D — Google review
Just a unique experience with really good food and waterway views. First -there were ALOT of people here and my first impression was the great job they did with the limited parking area and high volume of people. The line to park moved very quickly and we had a spot within minutes. When I saw yet another line to order food I rolled my eyes but yet again the line moved quickly and despite the number of people had a full picnic table by the water for our party of seven! The food was brought to our table and everything raved about their choices. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves, but everyone cannot wait to go back!
Jennifer O — Google review
Food is great. Lobster roll is expensive but they always are and it’s at least a generous amount. I also enjoy the clam chowder from the raw bar. A few notes: it’s cash only but there is an ATM. The line gets long around dinner in the summer time and sometimes after you order you need to wait to snag a table, but we can always find one. It’s also BYOB which is awesome and the view of the water is great.
Alice H — Google review
Picture this... You saunter into Sesuit Harbor on a sun-drenched July afternoon, the harbor glittering like a cheesy rom-com set—and yes, you’re about to get your life changed by a humble lobster roll. From the moment you step up to the line wrapped around the marina —hope it’s not too crowded, but hey, that’s part of the fun—you’re already halfway in love. Then comes the part when you try to score the best table that combines a great view of the harbor and not rubbing elbows with too many seagulls. Takes strategy and patience. When your number finally gets called—like a VIP at a clam-themed concert—they deliver a sandwich so packed with lobster it could star in its own seafood blockbuster. The vibe? Totally BYOB and dog friendly, which feels like trading your picnic for a cooler full of bubbles and beach tunes. Outdoor seating lays you smack on the marina, where even the seagulls seem to ask, “Can I get in on that?”

Nestled in the charming town of Dennis, Scargo Cafe is a delightful dining destination that beautifully marries American cuisine with a touch of New England charm. Housed in a traditional colonial-style building, this intimate eatery offers various seating options, including a cozy fireplace dining room and an inviting patio. The menu showcases an array of delectable dishes featuring local seafood, hearty sandwiches like the classic Reuben, and flavorful bowls such as the Mediterranean farro bowl.
Wonderful! My girlfriend and I just went for the first time today, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Friendly and prompt service, a clean and comfortable atmosphere, and phenomenal food. Definitely more upscale than your laid-back beach joints down the road. We got the French onion soup, seafood chowder, and lobster rolls. All were probably the best we've ever had. $125 (before tip) for the food and two beers. Considering the quality of the restaurant, I'd say the prices are very much worth it. We were dressed pretty casually, which staff didn't seem to mind at all, but I'd probably at least wear a nicer shirt next time. Only complaint is that the water really needed ice, but that's such a miniscule thing. 10/10 would return!
Kyle P — Google review
To describe Scargo would be refined casual. Called to book and the recording was well thought out and impressive but not over the top. Loved it! The night we arrived early, table was ready. Staff well trained and formal but relaxed. Very busy did not have to wait long for drinks or food. Tuna martini starter, perfect. Seafood strudel was delicious and size was generous but not flowing over the side of the plate. Steak is thick and perfect. Highly recommend!

Excellent dining experience from start to finish. Plenty of parking in the private lot makes arriving stress-free, even at busy times. Inside, the space is cozy and full of character - warm, classic Cape Cod charm with an upscale-casual feel. I tried their house special (photo attached) and it was freshly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly made to order. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality, ambiance, and overall experience make it well worth it. Definitely coming back next time I’m in the area!
Alex K — Google review
Awesome place for lunch or dinner, food and service are outstanding! Anke and Staci are professional and helpful servers, it’s clear they care they want you to have great experience! The shrimp salad and grape nut custard were delicious. The bread was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, baked perfectly. Scargo Cafe is a “do not miss” when you’re on the cape!
Paul P — Google review
Classic food. Not special delicious and not bad either. The lamb is nicely cooked , very tender but it’s lacking the texture and flavor of mutton. Fried oysters is a bit too salty and small.

Swordfish was great. French Onion soup was amazing. Creme Brulee was fantastic. Great place!
Chris W — Google review
Delicious food- really enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and Buddha bowl. Drinks were a little sweet for my taste.
Lacey K — Google review
Cute place in Dennis with sectioned dining area, friendly service. Serves bread and butter for starters. Menu had few interesting fusion options. -Hibiscus refresher$9 mocktail with hibiscus tea, lemon, priqly pear puree, soda water, lime -French onion soup $14 delightful with so much cheese! -Herb crusted sea scallops $36 was the winner of the night! Roasted Hokkaido scallops cooked to perfection served with corn, bacon succotash, white miso berry blanc. Flavorful and serving size was good. -Buddha bowl $28 grilled balsamic chicken over chilled quinoa, tomatoes, roasted sweet potatoes, feta, kalamata olives, lemon basil vinaigrette. Sounded very interesting but was a bit disappointing. Sweet potatoes were almost raw and not grilled at all. Ingredients didn't quite blend with each other with unbalanced flavor. Might still return for Hokkaido scallops though when we are in the area again.

New American restaurant

Event venue
Nestled in the charming town of Dennis, The Pheasant is a delightful dining destination that beautifully marries refined American cuisine with French influences. Housed in a stunning 200-year-old barn, this seasonal restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere complete with a cozy fireplace and picturesque garden. Since its opening in 2008 by Eric and Adam Dunn, The Pheasant has been dedicated to crafting exquisite dishes from scratch under the guidance of executive chef Toby Hill.
This is honestly the best restaurant on Cape Cod. The food is locally sourced and expertly prepared, and I haven’t had a meal there that didn’t blow me away. The setup is charming and homey, with a nice mix of antiques and moderns touches. The owners are very present, but they have trained their staff beautifully, and it’s clear that everyone is invested in doing a great job. The cocktails are special and creative without doing too much, and again, the menu offerings are as delicious as it gets. I can’t say enough wonderful things about The Pheasant.
Kate D — Google review
We were looking forward to our meal all week but it was a bit of a disappointment. The restaurant itself is beautiful and well decorated. It took a really long time to get cocktails, just 2 for a table of 5. Once they arrived they were good. The food looked beautiful as you can see from the pictures, but in most cases was not seasoned well. We ordered four appetizers and five entrees. All the food was ok, but nothing was a home run except the bass and clams my wife had. Pork chop and Cornish hen were underwhelming and the hen portions ridiculously small. My son asked if we could stop at the lazy dog for a chicken sandwich instead of having desert. My daughter also said she didn’t get enough food. I don’t know how they can recommend sharing when portions are so small and prices so high. Between the portion sizes and the underwhelming food just can’t recommend the restaurant
Duncan H — Google review
One of our best dinners on the Cape! We are Californians and not used to massive MA plates of food so we were very content to share all of these nicely portioned smaller dishes. The rich potato millefeuille was delectable and was complimented by the vinegary bite of the watermelon gazpacho we also ordered. The seared mushrooms and giant beans were a hearty, beautifully seasoned intro to Fall that paired well with a French Pinot. The poussin was crisp and tasty. It did take over an hour and a half to get our dishes, which was a bit delayed compared to diners around us, so we ran out of steam for dessert but overall it was lovely.
Amanda A — Google review
The Pheasant is our favorite restaurant on the Cape, the menu changes seasonally and has never disappointed. The highlights of this meal were the Potato Millefeuille, the Cornish hen and The Scallops which were in a word perfect. Service and ambience were superior as always
Paul — Google review
One of the best meals we’ve ever had. Absolutely lovely and such great service. The sharing concept worked wonderfully and is a great way to try everything. Love the local ingredients! Thank you!
Rachel F — Google review
A lot of people are saying this is the best restaurant on the Cape. I agree but I would take it a step further - it is one of the best restaurants anywhere, full stop. Better than most restaurants I’ve been to in Miami, NY, Boston, etc. The rotating menu every few weeks and their partnership with the best local vendors (CBI Farm, Ack Gioia, etc) makes for the freshest most delicious ingredients. Whatever form they are serving burrata in is a must have- earlier in the season it was peach burrata salad, now it is burrata with chimichurri. Amazing. The poussin is my favorite entree. I would recommend ordering several plates and sharing so you can try as much as possible. They also have a fabulous wine selection. Very cozy setting - love going in the off season as well. My favorite!
Drew — Google review
Truly incredible spot. The quality of the food and thought that goes into each dish is amazing. They were accommodating to our dietary restrictions and knowledgeable. Loved every bite!
Izzy D — Google review
Another exceptional dining experience at The Pheasant! I brought my chef husband for his birthday and we had such a nice time (he's hard to please!). The service was exceptional and the food was outstanding! It's hard to be impressed in January on Cape Cod but this restaurant delivers year round, and is especially warm and cozy this time of year! We had a late reservation and were one of the last tables but the staff continued to make us feel welcomed and appreciated. We will be back!

The Ocean House Restaurant is a stunning New American eatery in Dennis Port, offering breathtaking views of Nantucket Sound. With a seasonal schedule, the restaurant presents an innovative menu that combines American cuisine with Pan-Asian influences. Dishes like maple-soy pork chops and potato-chip-crusted codfish showcase their creative approach. The upscale dining experience emphasizes locally sourced ingredients and culinary innovation, with their renowned lobster roll being a standout favorite among guests.
The best meal we’ve had this visit to the cape. Our server Samantha paid close attention to detail, was very kind and knowledgeable of the menu. We had a memorable time eating amazing food while looking out to the ocean, you really can’t get much better than this. When we go back home to our busy lives we will always think back to night we had here and will be dreaming of the miso butterscotch ice cream until the next time. Superb!

We ate out on the patio. Beautiful ocean views. We’ve come here a couple of years ago as well. The strawberry mojito was delicious. The chef accommodated my request and made grilled fish taco for me instead of using fried fish as described on the menu. My son had the lobster Caesar which had a very generous amount of lobster meat.
Chia S — Google review
Awesome time. I had gone a month ago, and was disappointed. But that was a complete fluke. This place has always been great and one of my favorites. Last night did not disappoint. The staff is awesome, Brittany and Cal were terrific! Service was great, food was delicious. Glad I went back and was super happy!

Amazing service!!! We celebrated our elopement and anniversary here. Immediately the hostess congratulated us and gave us a table by the window. Our waiter Danny was personable, but not intrusive. Very well versed on the menu. We had the seabass and calamari - both delicious! They even gave us a complimentary tiramisu which is the best I’ve had. Lastly, they have complimentary valet.

The Ocean House is the best! The food is outstanding, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is beautiful. For appetizers, we got the Cobb Salad and the 5-layer ahi tuna. For our meals, we got sea bass, lobster noodles, and Korean fried chicken. Everything was delicious!
Kathryn — Google review
The service was impeccable, our food was hot and came out quickly. it was the fastest dinner we ever had, less than an hour. We got apps, entrees, and dessert. We went because the menu was unique. The food was good but I didn't feel like it was special. I would maybe go back for a special occasion but I wouldn't crave anything. Getting a reservation was hard and I can see why. it's beautiful. It's very seafood heavy which makes sense but I would like to see more variety in entrees than building a meal a la carte to get something without seafood in it.
Review G — Google review
Have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. Finally had a visit to the Cape with no dog or kids. Reservations were late since we waited until about 10 days out to book. We arrived early, there was a bit of a wait which we expected. The hostess was a little short but attempted to be friendly. The restaurant was full and extremely loud. I was thankful for our table being in a corner, at least gave us a little bit of a reprieve. Took a while for our waitress to get to us. She was also a little short, forced politeness. When we asked for recommendations about the menu, portion size, one dish vs another, she was very vague and unhelpful. She basically just re-read the description of the dish, which we didn’t ask for. I understand everyone’s taste is different, levels of spice, portion size, etc, all are subjective. I’ve never had a problem with visiting a restaurant of this caliber and asking for a recommendation from the staff. The Tiki Plateau appetizer was delicious. Loved everything, lobster dumplings were the favorite. Dinner was scallops with bacon and corn risotto, lobster ramen noodles. Lobster ramen was amazing. Lots of garlic, good umami flavor, lots of lobster. The scallops were also delicious. Honestly, Mac’s Lobster and seafood in Chatham have a similar dish, at least half the price, didn’t fee one was better than the other. The wine list was pretty small. Wines available by glass were not available on the bottle list. Would have expected a wider variety. Only NZ Sav Blanc was available by glass, the rest were French and bottle only. Same problem with the Chardonnays. Disappointing. I am not opposed to going back, but don’t believe it will be a staple on our trips.

Wow! What an incredible dining experience from start to finish. ✨ From the warm welcome at the door to our outstanding server, Donald, every detail was thoughtful and genuine. The food? Absolutely unforgettable — bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and unlike anything we’ve ever experienced on Cape Cod. 🍴🌊

Nestled in a charming, retrofitted barn, Sundae School Ice Cream is a delightful family-owned gem located in Dennis Port. This beloved ice cream shop has been serving up smiles since 1976 and continues to be a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists alike.
Exceptional! From start to finish our experience at Sundae School was very positive. The parking lot and the ice cream lines were well managed (peak season = BUSY!) the staff were friendly and totally professional, and the ice cream? Ok, there’s a sundae and then there’s a Sundae School sundae. My cookie dough ice cream was chock full of dough bites and so so creamy. The homemade whipped cream was thick, delicious, and held up well amidst the ice cream. And the cherry on top was a real fresh cherry, which was such a nice touch. If you’re in town and debating which scoop shop to go to, I highly recommend Sundae School. Boyfriend agrees.
Allison B — Google review
This place is obviously a favorite for so many people but for any newbies let me fill you in on a secret - go to the inside line! We didn't realize there was an inside line and legitimately waited for like an hour and a half outside. We watched so many people come way after us and leave much before us. However, we were too committed to leave. The service was great and they had ample seating at picnic tables around. For us the ice cream wasn't worth the wait but it was still great ice cream. They definitely cater to all folks (dairy free options, vegan options, sherbet, sorbet, etc.) We both got mini splits which was a fun option and delicious but we are just as content at places with a much shorter wait. I would also recommend walking if possible because parking looked to be an absolute disaster. They even had people attempting to direct traffic and parking.
Taryn W — Google review
Absolutely loved our experience here! We visited on a busy Monday night at the end of June and the parking lot was packed! There was an attendant directing traffic and we found a spot quickly. The line outside was very lomg, but a kind customer let us know as she was leaving that there was no line inside. As a result of heading in, our total time was just another 10 minutes. The ice cream was absolutely delicious! A little pricey, but comparable to other similar ice cream places. We loved the autoplay piano and enjoyed looking at the many wall decorations while we ate. This place is worth the wait if there is one - a must try. Note: Cash only!

Delicious Ice cream, highly recommend, it's a bit on the upper price level, but still worth a visit

Always a good time at Sundae School. Jackson had a chocolate frappe for the first time and really liked it! Oreo Crunch ice cream was really good too. We will be back.

Family of 5 Review - Scoop it up! PRO TIP 1: Cash ONLY 💵 PRO TIP 2: Bring your collegiate banner flag (see photo) Thursday 7:30 PM parking was almost full (when leaving they had a parking attendant 😬). Under the outdoor tent an employee inside was kind enough to open the window and say there was NO line inside. We got a vanilla Frappe, Coconut Waffle Cone, and Cookie Dough Waffle Cone. Everything was amazing! We couldn’t believe the amount of cookie dough in the ice cream. The interior decoration and memorabilia was a nice touch. They have a water jug and cups for free. Open Daily 11-10:30! Highly Recommend and will be coming back.
Derek S — Google review
Me and my husband stopped here around 7pm on a Sunday ight and the reviews are true, the line was down the road but there are workers helping people park. We parked across the street at the pizza joint because we got that pace for dinner and just walked across the street. You can wait outside under a large tent or you can go inside and wait. We went inside and it was very busy but we didn't wait long in line. I got the large sundae and it was amazing! The whip cream was so soft and good! The fudge was also amazing! For the three flavors I got pumpkin, Bass River and Milky way, all really rich and good!

Nestled conveniently off Route 28 in Dennisport, The Oyster Company is a beloved local gem that perfectly blends style and comfort. Known for its exceptional oyster dishes sourced from their own beds, this eatery offers a delightful array of seafood options. Diners can indulge in creative appetizers like sashimi oysters with wasabi aioli or savor the rich flavors of broiled oysters topped with cilantro butter.
From the time we were greeted to the end of leaving and saying goodbye, it was an absolute memorable experience. Mario and the chef were some of the most kind happy warm hearted people I have ever met. The food portions were generous and quality was absolutely amazing. The oysters came right off the shell, the lobster roll were thick, chunky and super crunchy. Filled with flavor, we had to try the blueberry coconut bread pudding that was Mario’s personal recipe. The flavor combo complimented each other smoothly. The outer part of the bread was crispy and crunchy with the inside being a fluffy soft delicious pillow. Added with vanilla ice cream for a cherry on top. I’m looking forward to going back for round 2!!!

He went here to enjoy a nice dinner and we were not disappointed. We read good things in the reviews and now it's time to try it. Really quickly see that our table and our waiter took great care of us. He was able to make great suggestions. We started out with a fresh Caesar salad. Just the right amount of delicious dressing and the croutons were perfectly crunchy. We split a seafood casserole. Delicious Cod, shrimp, scallops and lobster. We left just enough room for the Kahlua creme brulee. Everything was delicious, timed to perfection and delivered with joy.

Everything we ordered was great — tasted good and came with reasonable portion. The pasta we ordered looked a bit unusual but it was actually yummy. The oysters were so fresh too! We were there during the hours of half price oysters so we had a lot of them. Definitely coming back.

The best lobster risotto we have ever had! We ordered the “Chatham Grilled Scallops with Lobster Risotto”, and were very impressed. My friend said “please don’t separate me with this risotto🤣” The other dish we had was the hot lobster roll - the bun was slightly over toasted, lobster was good! The oysters 🦪, fantastic as always!

Best seared Scallops & Lobster Risotto with Asparagus! The dish was out of this world! Food was served pretty quickly for as busy as it was and hot. Make a reservation as it’s packed and loud. Could have been a little cooler, but it was busy. Great waitress , Katie (blonde) I think. Definitely eat outside next time (noise level) I’m getting old I think!

For a $150 meal, I would have like to see fresher details. The poor waiter, Robert, was absolutely wonderful, but he was all by himself outside and running like crazy. We felt service was maybe a tad slow, and the food was sitting for a bit but we understand, seeing as he was doing so much. The seafood alfredo... terrible. It was essentially seafood and peppardelle in a slightly cheesy broth. The crab cakes were all stuffing and seemed like they went from freezer to fryer. The margaritas were okay. Nothing special.

We had a reservation and were sat right when we got there. Ordered a dozen oysters, crab cakes, ciopino, paella, shrimp Alfredo, and swordfish. Everything came out and was great with generous portion sizes. Only gripe the muscles on the paella were mealy and overcooked.

Well it used to be 5+stars last year. I'm not sure what the chef/owner/oyster farmer is going thru but it's not good and it reflex in his restaurant. We ate here 3 times last year it was so delicious and fun. This year it started right at the front door. The hostess, without turning around said 2? We replied, no there are 3 of us. Could we have a booth please. She proceeded to sit us at a table and I again asked for a booth. She said no because the owners reserve the booths for locals!!! And besides there is a party of 9 coming in right near that booth she announced. Mind you ,the table she wanted us to sit at was just as close as the booth was to the supposed party of 9. There was never a party of 9. She went back to her hostess station, checked her computer and sat us at the booth. No utensil set ups, no waitress intoduction, no kindness. Last year's hostess was so friendly ,beautifully dressed, smiled, brought table set ups and told us who our waitress would be. Our waitress was great this time too The seafood in all our dishes was overcooked and hard to chew. The crumbs on the baked seafood dish were seasoned great but super dry and way too much was used. Not sure if the mashed potatoes were real potatoes but they were gross no flavor. The green beans all had "branches" still on them. Not what you expect to see at a 5 star restaurant. The cioppini sauce was so delicious ! The apple crisp had two small mushy slices of apple and no crisp. The whip cream was tasty! It would appear from all these very similar reviews that locals are getting preferential treatment and Chef/owner likes it that way. We have found a new to us favorite restaurant and couldn't be happier.

Some of the freshest oysters we’ve ever had. Also the most delicious quahogs!! Love that they serve them on a bed of thick salt and butter on the side! The shirt rib grilled cheese was to die for. Drinks were also very good. We will be back! :)

We took my wife's parents here for their 50th anniversary and we definitely made the right choice. We were seated promptly at a table with a great view and got just the right mix of prompt service and respectful privacy. The selection of wines and beers impressed my in-laws, including a "not flavorless!" zero alcohol beer for dad. Our server Kristen (sorry if I don't have the spelling right!) was kind, attentive, and charming. She made us feel very welcome, and definitely went above the call of duty to make sure my mother-in-law got a good photo of the family around the table. The food was excellent, the portions generous, and the bill was very reasonable.

this is such a great place! although a few cons. wait time can be crazy, for us it was about 45 minutes but i believe it can vary. we got to sit on the porch with a nice view of the marsh while we waited and also ordered drinks, so the waiting wasn’t miserable. we got seated on a booth by again, a great view. atmosphere was nice otherwise. we got the calamari and were slightly disappointed because half of the plate was fried peppers, which were good, but not the calamari we wanted. not sure if this varies between plates, but it felt like a money grab. calamari itself was great. was a decent wait for food, which was expected because of how crowded it was. everyone enjoyed their food, surprisingly the mac and cheese was a hit and steak was so good! menu is pretty kid friendly, and there is a kid menu. it’s generally an expensive place, over $50 just for drinks. not a waste of money though! feels like such a nice and open place that is modern but relaxed. would come back here again!

We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Marshside for our son and now daughter in law and everything was outstanding! We had dropped off decor in advance to be set up and when we arrived the tables looked beautiful. We had two servers that were dedicated to our group of 41 and they were so attentive and made the entire evening run seamless. The appetizers were delicious and the presentation was just lovely. Everyone raved about their starter of the seasonal soup or the caesar salad. The entrees arrived and the food was piping hot and the portions were huge. It was truly an amazing dinner and the apple crisp or the flourless chocolate torte were the perfect ending to an amazing meal to celebrate the start of the wedding weekend!! Thank you again to The Marshside!!

Came with a large group and they seated us almost immediately, despite being relatively busy. Our server was great, answered our questions and provided us several options when we asked about his favorites on the menu. At this suggestion, I had the grilled swordfish and it was delicious. It was fresh and flaky, and topped with a flavorful Mediterranean tapenade. I heard rave reviews from others in our group about the scallops. Pace yourself...the bread basket will get you. Bread is hot and soft and you can easily fill up before your meal.

Wow! I just got back from an early dinner at The Marshide with my wife, and it was wonderful! The building is very nice; modern yes, but very tastefully done, with excellent views of the natural beauty of the salt marsh thanks to many large (and spotlessly clean) windows. The service was very good too, so I was happy about that as well. It was the wonderful food that put thus experience over the edge into wonderful..land. I ordered the baked haddock, and my wife got the mushroom ravioli. My haddock was very fresh and delightful, and set in a sauce that complemented but did not overpower the delicate deliciousness. My wife’s ravioli dish (I had a sample) was also incredible. I realize that mushroom ravioli sounds flavorless, but it was truly incredible! The mushrooms were very flavorful; and again, the sauce for that dish was the perfect complement, it even had pistachios…it all worked perfectly together! This place is expensive, and gets busy with a wait to eat at primetime, but it is worth it all. The setting is beautiful, and the chef is an artist. I highly recommend this place. Hint: Go during off peak hours..i.e. very early supper.

KREAM N KONE is a casual counter-service restaurant located in West Dennis, offering a variety of fried seafood, broiled dinners, lobster rolls, and more. It's known for its riverfront deck and soft-serve ice cream. The place is popular for its fried clams and fresh fish dishes. It's a great spot to enjoy a meal by the river or grab some soft ice cream after exploring Cape Cod.
Really fresh and generous portions of fried cod sandwiches. Nothing fancy but hit the spot! Outdoor seating in the back looks out to a river where people were kayaking. Relaxing and fun.

When you're on the Cape, you've got to get some whole belly clams. After a little investigation we found that this place continuously wins awards for it's fried food. We decided to get the 3 item Seafood Plate with oysters, clam strips and whole belly clams. It did not disappoint. This pile of food was delivered to our table with perfectly cooked onion rings on top. What a great start. Everything was cooked perfectly. This kind of seafood can be overcooked in 30 seconds, but they deliver it perfectly every time. BTW, the Cole slaw was the correct mix of sugar and mayo, just right. The tartar sauce was flavorful also, but you'll hardly need any! If you're in the area and have a hankering for some delicious perfectly cooked and seasoned seafood, you'll be doing yourself a favor and stop in.

DELICIOUS. When I think of whole belly fried clams I want them to taste exactly like the ones I got today at Kream n Kone. I got the platter and the onion rings and fries were also delicious. The portion of clams was very generous, and they were cooked perfectly, really good tartar sauce too! There was a ton of seating, the staff were all very nice. Over all great experience, would definitely return.

I had expected a delicious meal, given all the good reviews for this restaurant, but I was bitterly disappointed. The lobster meat in my lobster roll smelled funky and tasted even worse. It was definitely not fresh. I ended up discarding it. This was by far my worst dining experience in Cape Cod. Avoid this place.

If you are hungry and want delicious food at a great price this is the place! However if you expect service with a smile or cordial employees don’t bother. Asked the gentleman employee a question about the food portions and received an unclear response. It was crystal clear he was not interested in helping and wanted nothing more than the shift to be over. Short responses, cold demeanor, made it feel like we were a bother. As we left the establishment not as much a thank you or come again! Totally ignored! Great food but will never go back. Employees with a poor work ethic can ruin a business.

The shrimp, scallops, and onion rings were delicious, but I found the lobster bisque to be a little lacking in flavor. I swapped it for clam chowder, which was much better.

Went to Captain Frosty’s for a quick lunch. Clearly a local favorite, great atmosphere and the service was good. I got the lobster roll, which was $25, and it tasted just ok for me. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here again, but I enjoyed myself.

Casual family dining with seafood and burgers and Frosty treats. Indoor and outdoor seating is provided and there are clean restrooms. No adult beverages. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Prices are reasonable for Cape Cod... We had a lemonade and two fish and chips platters and it was less than $50 including tip. We both agreed that fish was delicious, moist and flaky. The fries and coleslaw were good. Overall we were very pleased with our experience in this clean and friendly family restaurant.

Fin, located in Dennis, MA, USA, is a renowned high-end eatery housed in an antique home. The restaurant offers a unique dining experience with an elegant ambiance and delectable sustainable seafood dishes. One of its highlights is the impressive selection of eclectic wines that complement the exquisite cuisine. With seating options both inside and outside on the patio, guests can enjoy elevated seafood dishes made with sustainable and local ingredients.
Fin was an interesting upper tier seafood restaurant located out in Dennis, Cape Cod. We were graciously greeted at the door as walk-ins and they were able to accommodate us very quickly considering we didn't have a reservation. Reservations do seem to be recommended to guarantee getting a table as the restaurant was packed! Our food looked very appetizing, the server was very knowledgeable about the menu, and the service was very quick. If you're looking for a most polished dinner experience, I highly recommend Fin. When we come back to Cape Cod for vacation we will definitely be coming back for more.

Upon arrival, the host was not very happy when she found out we didn’t have a reservation (it seems like a place where you really should make reservations, noted for next time) but she was able to put us down for a reservation about an hour from when we arrived which worked out. We ordered the lobster donut to start and it was good and unique but don’t think I would order again. Then we got the salmon, a cup of the oyster chowder, and the heirloom tomato salad which was a special. The salad was just okay, I wish I could taste the summer truffles more but the tomatoes and burrata were fresh. The salmon and oyster chowder were both amazing and would recommend them, I would suggest a bowl of the chowder though - it was that good!

We heard many good words about this place, but we didn’t find it spectacular as it was presented to us. There were two items that stood out, the lobster doughnut, which is very interesting, and the scallops with pork belly (not in pictures). The rest of the dishes had a plain taste, however, very nicely looking. The arugula salad had 2-3 pieces of beets, and literally just a handful of greens.. Overall, we found it overpriced for the experience, considering that it is an old house and the floor was kind of crooked, so the table was also crooked. I would not call it fine dining, but upscale.
Chaffinch — Google review
The food had the atmosphere with delicate Japanese selections. However the fresh catch halibut was overcooked and dry leaving it tasting not de fresh. And the sushi rice was more like Minute Rice. The servers were inattentive and left me with oysters with no plate to eat off.

What an amazing dining experience!! I dined with a party of nine and was able to taste several different menu items and I’m hard pressed to pick a favorite. Got a seafood combo plate. Came with only 2 shrimp that had some weird batter, some little bite size fish pieces, both of which were just ok. The scallops though? Disgusting! Tastes like old fish. The whole plate was previously frozen for sure. Service was fine. Heineken was super skunked. Also got a pizza which was burnt on the bottom and on half the crust. I will not go back!

Comfortable place. Great for a Sunday football day, or after the game. Better atmosphere at bar with TVs and quick bar service. Haven't eaten at the dining area side but TVs not as visible. The food is good. Some dishes better than others. I really love their arugula gorgonzola walnut cranberry salad with blackened Salmon served with either blue cheese or honey balsamic dressing. They provided me both. Portion of salmon excellent, cooked to perfection. However my husband got the seafood combo, portion of fish was nugget size, three shrimp and three scallops with a big portion of fries. Not worth the price. If the fish was actually a portion of fish then it would be good. I urge restaurants to not skimp. Fish nuggets seem like bottom of barrel. I recommend that this restaurant serve an actual portion of fish in the combo, which shouldn't be nugget size. Other local seafood restaurants do this better and less money. Place was busy, makes good business. Clean. Staff are friendly. Local bar open all year, and warm.

What happened to the Lost Dog? Went 2 nights ago and the pizza was like cardboard. When we complained they (older service woman and younger bloke at bar) basically ignored us. From the moment we walked in, we knew this was our kind of place when I say we me and my friend rented an Airbnb in Plymouth and discovered the Cape extensively. We love this place. The manager is friendly. Everyone was beautiful attentive the servers just perfect. We had drinks outside in the tent and then went in for a fabulous dinner. Everything exquisite from the bread to the clam chowder to the shrimp scampi which they served amazingly fresh with lemon, unlike the normal breaded one. It was so good. My friend had the lean duck in a glaze that was light and refreshing. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I went for Easter brunch. It was my first time at this lovely establishment. Andrew the GM greeted us, super nice guy. The inside was a beautiful rustic theme. Bathrooms were very clean. We had Shawna for our waitress and she was awesome. Very friendly and on top of things. The food was outstanding- I don’t ever clean my plate & frequently get told to eat my food but I ate every last drop!!! My boyfriend loved his food as well. Definitely worth a visit. 5 stars isn’t enough!!! Thanks Encore for a lovely Easter brunch.

This continues to be one of our favorite places to eat dinner on the Cape. It is beautiful both inside and out on their covered patio. Tonight on the patio our waitress was Danielle who was so sweet and attentive. The GM stopped by to ask how our meal was and it was our opportunity to thank him for another wonderful meal. We’ve eaten inside several times also which is rustic while being clean and modern. Both in season and off it is a place to truly relax and enjoy a little piece of the Cape. Food, drink, ambiance….Encore has it all.

Exquisite setting, friendly service & excellent food. Appetizers were all excellent: Loved the Arugula salad, the lobster tower & the Yucatan shrimp was sooo delicious. This is literally my all time favorite restaurant. I've been coming here with my family for over 30 years. It's a staple in our Cape Cod vacation. The staff is amazing and super friendly. Although we only come once a year, they remember our faces and our names. The food never disappoints. It truly doesn't matter what you get, it's going to be amazing. We always start with an order of shrimp cocktail, mussels, and garlic bread to dip in the sauce from the mussels. My favorite main dishes are the chicken gismundo, veal savoyard, the filet, the clam sauce, white or red, and the scampi ala Gina. They come with a small salad and their homemade dressing is addicting. This past time around, they had a lobster scampi special as well as a cold calamari salad that we just had to try. Phenomenal! And let's not forget, their famous chocolate cake. Stroll down to Mayflower Beach for sunset after dinner also, it's worth it. I love Gina's! I will forever come here once a year no matter where I'm living. ❤️

Unfortunately we drove all the way to the facility as we’ve heard nice reviews, however we didn’t have the opportunity to experience anything other than their inappropriate staff. As we drove into the parking lot, the parking attendant rudely said there was a dress code, which the website doesn’t state there is a dress code. The restaurant is located close to the beach and we were coming from the beach, we all had clothes but apparently they don’t allow sleeveless attire. our family recommended them and they always visit from the beach. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional and dismissed our family from the restaurant for having a tank top. Kicked us off the property I was taken back by the behavior and in response relieved to not spend my money at a place that would treat their guests in such way. We will definitely take our business elsewhere, happily We not recommend due to poor customer service

These guys managed to kill a 15 year tradition for me and my family. The worst part? They don't care. I understand as they are only open Thursday-Sunday but Sam who over the last 15 years has generally taken care of us turned his back on us tonight. We got there tonight as soon as they opened and showed Up to put our name on the list. After a busy start for their night, they told us they couldn't sit large parties- 10 people. We told the other owner from the start of our wait that we were a party of 10 and he said we were second in line - after a 45 minute wait they changed their mind and wouldn't seat us. If you're not seating large parties then you should make that clear and your staff should know as well. You Could have saved us a 45 minute wait. Too bad traditions have to be ruined because you 'change your policy' - we didnt need to change our traditions but you made us because of your knee jerk reaction to crowds. Too Bad

Haven't been to Gina's by the sea in such a long time. Was up visiting family and five of us went to dinner. Place was packed but they found a beautiful table for us in the corner. Had the shrimp scampi which was the best I've ever had. I have had it before back in the day and it was as good if not better. The spaghetti was covered in shrimp so all you saw was shrimp! Seven large, perfectly cooked flavorful shrimp. Absolutely delicious. A fun place right on the water with gorgeous views. You can't beat it. Looking forward to my next visit.

While waiting in line, patrons are inspired by the pre-designed options on display. The donuts produced here are truly exceptional. Surprisingly, the PB&J donut stood out as a favorite among visitors, receiving a flawless rating of 10/10.
Always an amazing experience here, the breakfast sandwiches are great. The iced coffee is nice, lots of options too for the coffees. Donuts are perfect, one of the best donuts on cape

Captain Baker Donut Shop is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. We tried the blueberry muffin, s’mores, and peanut butter and jelly donuts—each one was absolutely delicious. The flavors were creative, well-balanced, and made fresh! We also grabbed a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a Portuguese muffin, and it was perfection—crispy, warm, and flavorful with that soft, slightly chewy muffin that tied it all together. One of the coolest parts? You can customize your own donuts with different glazes and toppings. It’s such a fun and unique touch that we’ll definitely be taking advantage of next time. Highly recommend this spot for both sweet treats and savory bites—it’s clear they put love into everything they serve!

The donuts that are coming out of Captain Baker’s donut shop are astronomically delicious I love the fact that you can stand there and watch them make the donuts dipping it in the various glazes, adding the toppings fantastic touch. I ordered a dozen donuts and I just said give me your most popular ones too many different flavors and varieties to choose from everything you can tell is made in house which goes to show the high-quality of the donut. As a YouTube food reviewer if you’re ever in Cape Cod and you need or want a tasty donut this could be possibly your best option. You’re gonna wait a little bit because the place was packed just to forewarn you. if you’re looking for more about this place follow my YouTube channel review time with Tim full review on Captain Baker’s donuts

I am not a donut person. These were melt on your mouth texture and so tasty! I love that there are no artificial dyes and they have gluten free and vegan options! Really fun vibe! Also, decaf coffee, for which I am grateful.

The storefront is very cute with off-street parking. This is a more customizable donut shop that’s topped to order. They have a selection of donuts with various toppings or you can make your own. The donuts are flaky and crumbles when you bite into them. The toppings are fun and there’s something for everyone. These are normal sized donuts and are pretty light.

Donuts were delish! However they are on the smaller side. So don’t get one donut expecting to fill you up! I got the French toast donut, along with the siren breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was served on a cinnamon raisin bagel with one egg, few chips of bacon, smothered in honey, that was delicious. I would highly recommend that breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich is $8.50 though. But with the for first time start. Here’s a picture of the four donuts that I got from my family. Cute little outdoor seating area as well. Go give it a try. You can create your own donut toppings, frosting, glaze, etc!

This review is super late—but better late than never! I first stepped into this place last year and was immediately overwhelmed (in a good way) by the diverse menu. So, we decided to go all in: two dozen doughnuts and a big taste test with a group of six. And honestly, these are some of the best doughnuts any of us have ever had—and we all travel a lot. The service is immaculate, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the whole place has a warm, homey vibe that makes you want to stay a while. The prices are fair for the quality you get, and the doughnuts are always fresh. They even offer day-old doughnuts at a discount, which is a great touch. Highly recommend stopping here. You won’t be disappointed.(6th time visiting sorry for the late review)

I did not visit the Donut Shop but have heard great things about it! I took a visit to the small Gift Shop out back and let me just say it’s a must see! Very unique Cape Cod gifts, stickers, jewelry. Handmade items, etc. Great job with the selections! Happy I finally found this little gem!

Wee Packet is a casual, family-friendly spot offering traditional Irish and American breakfasts as well as classic clam-shack eats. The restaurant provides great service and food with ample portions. It has a large and varied menu that includes items like eggs, toast, pancakes, French toast, and waffles for breakfast and lunch seven days a week. Additionally, dinner is available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings from 5-8 pm.
A short 9 minute walk from where we're staying on the beach. This "Wee" restaurant and bar is adorable. I didn't manage to take pictures of the interior but it is a must see! The atmosphere is fun and easy going, and the service fast and attentive. We had the Lobster Benedict and side of Corned Beef Hash, and the Hash Omelette. Delicious!

Clam chowder was so good I had to come back again a second time for lunch. Super flavorful and not thick like some of the other reviewers have said. brought my dog and the hostess sat us in a quiet corner so that was super appreciated. The entire staff was super friendly and super on top of everything.

I love this place for a casual breakfast. It's always packed and plenty of buzz, but still quiet enough to have a conversation. The offerings are things you won't find in many places. You can get basic eggs and toast, or you can get lobster or crab cakes hollandaise. You can get a full Irish breakfast. They really do a good job prepping meals and they are fast. If you're in Dennis and want a good breakfast, this is one you should consider. They do lunch and dinner, too!

I’ve been coming to The Wee Packet since I was a kid, and it’s always been one of my favorite spots on the Cape. I was excited to bring my boyfriend and share some good memories over brunch on a beautiful 80-degree day. The restaurant was nearly empty, so we were surprised when we were told there were “no two-tops available” and had to take a buzzer and wait in the gift shop for a table. After waiting, we were brought to a tiny, dark table in the corner by the bar, right next to the hot, loud kitchen. We asked the hostess if we could sit outside instead—since there were plenty of open tables—but she said no. We were starving and rushing to eat before heading to the beach, so we just sat down and tried to make it work. But the table was so small we realized there was no way we could fit the amount of food we planned to order. We asked our server if we could move, and he checked with the hostess again—same answer: no. We explained the table really wouldn’t fit what we wanted to order. He seemed unsure of how to handle it and just kind of walked away. He wasn’t rude—just seemed inexperienced and probably caught in the middle. So we got up to leave. I told the hostess, “This isn’t right. You have so many open tables and we just want to enjoy our lunch. Can you please move us outside?” Only then did she finally say yes. To make things more confusing, we watched another couple walk in shortly after and get seated at a 4-top with no issue. That said—our server was nice and attentive, and the food was good for breakfast/cafe-style food. But for how expensive it is and the way we were treated, it left a really bad taste. I’ve always loved this place, but I don’t know if I’ll be back after this visit.

Clancy's Restaurant is a popular dining spot in Dennis Port, offering a casual yet inviting atmosphere for patrons to enjoy cocktails and seafood-centric American cuisine. Whether you choose to dine inside the cozy dining room or opt for the riverfront patio, you'll be treated to serene water views that perfectly complement the restaurant's 26-year tradition of warm hospitality and delectable food.
Our new favorite down here on the Cape. The host was amazing . He checked us in fast and told us the wait time. We got in much sooner than a very rude local ahead of us!! Nice to see locals don't run this restaurant!! There isn't a bad seat in the restaurant, however; we definitely got the best seat. The view is spectacular !! Our waiter Jack was knowledgeable and funny! Thank you Jack. The clam chowder was the best we ever had. The French Onion soup looked fabulous! The crouton was a perfect size and the cheese was crispy and gooey. My husband loved it! The entres were delicious! Hubby had the Meat combo. The potatoes were delicious on there own. Two of us shared the Swordfish with lobster sauce. It was moist and just the perfect amount of sauce. The risotto was tasty even on its own . Definitely making this our new go to Dinner restaurant.

Really great view and ambiance, the river is full of birds and other wildlife! The service is also lovely, and very quick too! Onion rings were piled up high, but they had more batter than onion. The portion sizes are quite big here, and the seafood is definitely a must, would recommend the fish sandwich! They also had a few vegetarian options, more than most seafood places around here which was great!

A must stop seafood restaurant that is very popular. Wonderful indoor and outdoor seating on the water where you will see paddle boats, wildlife, and beautiful winter berries growing in this marsh area. Restaurant staff is great, and food is consistently delicious. No matter the years of visiting this area, Clancy’s has not changed! Great fish and chips, chowder, salads, sandwiches and more. Extensive cocktail and wine bar with a very friendly atmosphere. Arrive early since it’s always busy during the evening hours or get there before opening and stand in line to ensure you have a table. A must stop for seafood lovers and a very relaxing place to spend a few hours contemplating all there is to see and do in this beautiful area.

This summer my family and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Clancy's Restaurant. Their stuffed quahog appetizer is the best on the Cape! It is truly an adventure for your tastebuds. The swordfish and salmon entrees were also divine. The presentation of the food is very special as well. If you want fine dining in a casual atmosphere go to Clancy's. You won't be disappointed!

Our waiter was so so nice!! He was helpful and possibly the happiest person we have ever met. He had a genuine smile on his face the whole evening! Our food was outstanding and the ambiance was wonderful. We are not even seafood eaters and loved everything we ordered. Our group was split on where to sit, so we ate indoors, but the outdoor seating looks gorgeous! Arrive by 4:45 for an early dinner and you won't have a long wait.

We had the pink drink (3.8) and the watermelon crush (3.5). The steak was cooked great (4.2) and the fisherman’s platter was (3.9). The service was decent. The waiter did pass by several times without asking if we needed anything and we did end up having to flag him down for additional service. The atmosphere is fantastic and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who hasn’t tried it!

Nestled along the scenic Route 6A in East Dennis, Grumpy's is a cherished family-owned eatery that has become a staple for both locals and travelers. This delightful roadside stop specializes in hearty, cooked-to-order comfort food served until the afternoon. The inviting atmosphere welcomes you with friendly smiles from the staff, making it feel like home as soon as you walk through the door.
Cool place -- great atmosphere. Easy to relax and just enjoy some hearty breakfast food. I'd stick with the savory stuff. The hash Benedict was particularly fulfilling (the hash itself was amazing, though, if I'm going to be real picky, the hollandaise sauce was a bit split, which isn't ideal). The baked beans were also delicious, and, as a bonus, the view from the parking lot was peaceful. Overall, definitely worth the visit.

We came here on Memorial Day for lunch. We walked in and were seated promptly at the counter. The interior is what you'd expect from a fisherman themed diner and is a fun vibe. The clam chowder was excellent and my Reuben with pasta salad hit the spot! The cornbread raspberry muffin was a great finish to the meal. Worth a try if you're in the area!

Fish & chips restaurant
The Original Seafood Restaurant is a long-standing establishment that has been serving up fried and fresh seafood, as well as clam chowder, in a casual and homey setting. They adhere to their original family recipes dating back to 1953, prioritizing freshness above all else. The menu features a variety of options including fried seafood, seafood rolls, burgers, sandwiches and more.
Update- I originally posted that although the lobster roll was amazing they changed the onion rings but I think that was just a blip- my daughter ordered the other day and the amazing onion rings were back! They must’ve just ran out so I’m changing my review. Lobster roll is amazing but what the hell happened to the onion rings??? Those were some of the best and now they are awful. No crunch and not nice and flaky like the old ones were. I guess it’s a cost cutting measure but really disappointing.
Melissa T — Google review
Really classic Cape place! It looks a bit stuck in time aesthetic wise but that’s sort of charming and that’s fine because the seafood is great. We ordered the $40 fisherman’s platter and it is massive. Plenty for 2 people and we eat a lot haha. We didn’t even finish it. The seafood is fresh and really crispy. I like the type of onion rings they have too since they don’t have a ton of that thick batter on them it’s more like a nice light coating of some sort of flour maybe? Fries are good too! Everything had a right amount of salt and they give you a LOT of tartar sauce.
Rachel I — Google review
First time patron. Ordered the fishermans platter. Enough food that my wife and I shared and still had leftovers. Platter comes with Fried haddock, fried shrimp, fried scallops, fried clam bellies, French fries and fried onion rings. Don't get me wrong food was good but it all kinda tasted the same? FYI, if you use a credit card they do let you know up front it's a 2.9 % upcharge. Limited parking and seating, but great as a take out meal.

We had a delicious lunch at Original Seafood, Dennisport, yesterday! Unfortunately, we did not take any photos, as we had not anticipated submitting this review. Our home is in DP, but we had quit going to Original several years ago, after many disappointing visits. However, having heard that Original was purchased by a new owner in ‘23/24, and having read many positive reviews of late, we decided to give it another try. So glad we did! The fried haddock & scallops were fresh with a crisp, seasoned batter, unlike much of the local fried seafood which can be very bland. The onion rings were freshly cooked, well seasoned and crisp. The coleslaw had a delicious flavor, although it was a little too heavily dressed for my taste. All of the folks behind the counter were helpful, happy and kind. The owner was on-site making sure everything was operating smoothly. The entire restaurant was very clean & bright. If you have not eaten at Original in a few years, or ever, I urge you to give it a try, as we were absolutely delighted by the delicious food & friendly service.

When Chekhov saw the long winter, he saw a winter bleak and dark and bereft of hope. I now know what he meant. I tasted it today in the form of a one-pound lobster roll slathered in nothing but mayonnaise, served from a fried food shack that has been a fixture in Dennisport for decades as “The Original Seafood Restaurant”. There’s a special kind of sadness that comes with expectation. You hear “lobster roll” and your mind conjures something light, maybe kissed by lemon, perhaps buttered delicately, maybe even a toasted bun that holds its dignity. But what I received was something else entirely—a cold, glistening heap of lobster meat, pale and drowning in what can only be described as a mayo avalanche absence of any flavor. No seasoning. No crunch. No relief. Just chilled, chewy lumps of lobster, thickly entombed in a white tide of Hellmann’s (I assume—it had that tang of industrial efficiency). The roll itself, likely once a hot dog bun in better days, collapsed under the weight like a lifeboat taking on water. Every bite was the same: damp, soft, oddly sour. It was like eating a seafood-flavored sadness. There was no acidity to cut the fat, no spice to distract, just the slow, heavy march of one pound of crustacean smothered in mayonnaise toward my stomach and soul. And yet—I finished it. Not out of pleasure, but out of duty to justify the hefty $72 cost. Because if Chekhov taught us anything, it’s that bleakness has its own strange pull. I stared into that mayo abyss and felt it stare back.
JD — Google review
This place is the real deal! It’s the original location and recipe for fried seafood on the Cape, so this is a must try! Plus, for anyone with a shellfish or gluten allergy, please notify the staff and they will safely navigate the menu with you! I have celiac’s disease and I more than enjoyed the grilled swordfish, sweet potato fries and cole slaw. They have a dedicated fryer for their french fries plus gluten free chicken tenders too. Again, this is a must try! All the traditional favorites plus accommodations for everyone. Check it out!

Perhaps the best fried fish, haddock, in years: delicate, moist, fresh and not overcooked. Last time this good was in Norway. And the lacy, sweet onion rings are Nauset Beach “Liams-esque.”

One of the better ice cream places I've been to on Cape in all my years visiting. A fun variety of flavors, friendly staff, clean, and good scoop sizes too! Only thing is when it gets busy it can get a little too noisy inside for my liking, thankfully there's a good amount of outdoor seating available!
Conor T — Google review
The Ice Cream Smuggler in Dennis isn’t just the best ice cream on the Cape — it’s a rite of passage. From the moment you walk up to the window and see the wooden measuring tape on the wall — the one where your height determines your ice cream flavor — you know you’re somewhere special. (For the record, I’m a Mocha Chip.) It’s the kind of detail that makes it fun before you even place your order. But beyond the charm, this place has history. Years ago, when the Smuggler was on the verge of closing, the community stepped up to save it. That loyalty says everything. People didn’t just want ice cream — they wanted this ice cream. And they still do. I’ve tried them all — Cape Cod Creamery included — and nothing compares. Smuggler’s flavors are richer, creamier, and just hit different. The cones are massive, the toppings are generous, and the scooper girls behind the window are some of the friendliest people on the Cape. You’ll walk away with your favorite order and a genuine smile. This place is summer. It’s tradition. It’s Cape Cod at its best. And once you’ve been, you’ll never go anywhere else. Smuggler for life.

This is the literal best ice cream you will ever eat in your entire life. It's worth every penny. The staff is always smiling and ready to help. The best part about Jason's Tavern is that you can always count on special bar offers that make it a great place to visit for date night or just for some good old fashioned American eats.
First time eating here. All the great reviews on the cape cod restaurants group were correct. Cozy and warm, friendly service. Food was excellent. Started with quahogs which were loaded with clams. Great flavor. Enjoyed veal parmigiana. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Chicken Parmesan special with gigantic meatball and Pasta. What a delicious combination. Prices very reasonable for the quality and quality. Probably why on a Wednesday evening they were packed. Don’t let a storefront in shopping plaza fool you. Loved this place all around.

Dennis locals, here. Service is hit or miss. Tonight, our server was the highlight of our visit! She was friendly and attentive. Maybe we ordered wrong, but the lobster in the lobster roll tasted “fishy”, the gravy on the KFC was bland. Clam chowder was very tasty and my kids never complain about a chicken tender. When we brought it to our servers attention that the lobster rolls tasted fishy, we were told that the lobster was thawed yesterday. Gross! I’ve never had frozen lobster in my life. Maybe that’s what it was supposed to taste like. My husband ate 1/3 of his meal before he gave up and they charged us full price, regardless. I’ll stick to burgers next time, I guess.
Jessica B — Google review
For a first-time visit, I found it to be fine. A wide-variety menu would seem to offer something for everyone. Several dinner specials offered, but end at 6 p.m. Our server, who was attentive, was so quick, you had to be quick to flag her down. Drunken Coconut Chicken, a menu cover feature, was tasty.

The burgers were so delicious. We got the East Dennis burgers and it had everything you could dream of on it. And it was all done perfectly. The bacon was nice and crisp, the sautéed mushrooms and grilled onions were soft and flavorful. The cheese was nice and melty. Fries were crispy and seasoned amazingly. I would give 10 stars if I could. Definitely a necessity place to go get a burger down the Cape

The DogHouse is a small outdoor eatery near the beach that offers a diverse range of hot dogs. Located on Glendon Road, it stands out for its unique takeout counter specializing in this popular street food. At The DogHouse, customers can find an extensive variety of hot dog options, including some lesser-known ones. The establishment also serves other delicious foods such as fish sandwiches and Buff Tots, which are generously portioned and highly enjoyable to share with others.
Stopping at The DogHouse was a decision we wish we’d made years ago—it was that good! From the classic hotdog to their awesome BLT version, every bite was a winner. The food came out fast and hit the spot, and they’ve got soda and beer to wash it all down. Just a heads-up: parking is a bit tight, especially during peak hours, but trust me, it’s totally worth the squeeze. Don’t miss out on this awesome spot!

Seafood restaurant
The Ebb Tide Restaurant is a timeless establishment renowned for its local seafood offerings and quality beef dishes. Housed in an historic sea captains home, this family-owned venue has been serving patrons since 1960. With the addition of a lounge in 1975 and the Garden Room in 1984, it continues to provide fine dining experiences. Their menu features traditional Cape Cod dishes like seafood fettuccine, broiled schrod, Atlantic salmon, and lobster preparations.
Absolutely wonderful, as always! I have been coming to the Ebb Tide for over 35 years and have always loved the food, service and ambiance. This year, due to COVID, my family and I decided to use their curbside services. I called in the order and they were immediately friendly and accommodating. It is a rare treat to be treated so well by an establishment, over the phone. The food was beautifully packaged, ready on-time, hot and delicious. Everything was wonderful and they even included a little surprise treat for dessert! The McCormick family truly knows how to treat their customers and the food is always excellent. Our thanks to all at The Ebb Tide (Patricia, Paul and staff) for making this year’s trip to the Cape special, no matter what!

First time there. Great service and food. Clam chowder was amazing. Cranberry sorbet was perfect. Have seafarer casserole. Delish.
Rochelle B — Google review
Their clam chowder and lobster bisque both had a lot of flavor. The chowder was thick and creamy and had a great consistency. The bisque was flavorful and delicious. I also ordered the Buffalo chicken tenders, which are basically boneless chicken wings as they are smaller. They pack a lot of flavor and a nice kick.

The ebb tide Restaurant is excellent in every way! We were greeted warmly when we entered the restaurant. Our server was attentive and attention to detail. The cocktails were small but delicious. The quality of the food and it’s expert preparation was amazing. Stuffed quahog was the best I’ve ever had. I had the seafood sampler that could not have been any fresher. When one steps inside the restaurant you feel a sophisticated country charm with white table cloths , candles on table. I give this restaurant an A +.

Food was very good. We got lobster bisque and clam chowder both were very good. The lobster roll was packed with meat and the wedge salad was huge and full with lots of things. Salmon was also delish. Great place to eat. Service was excellent too.

Delicious food. Great service. We've been here a few times over the years. This time it was at Seaview due to the changes for Covid. Felt very clean and safe, plenty of room between tables inside. Got the pecan encrusted salmon, which was excellent. I loved the mashed potatoes - very buttery!
Hannah S — Google review
Good service but that was about it. You walk in and want to like the place but the first thing that comes to you is an odd smell something that reminds you of a nursing home. Much of the setting is cheaper with battery power candles, plastic covers for the tables and paper place mats. The food was ok but certainly not to be blown away bye. The pasta seemed to have a rubbery undercooked taste to it. Cod Chowder was decent but inconsistent in the heat.

Red Nun Bar & Grill, with locations in Chatham and Dennis Port, is a popular spot during the summer months. While known for its meat-centric menu, it surprisingly offers many vegetarian-friendly options. Their burgers can be customized to be vegetarian or vegan by substituting the meat patty with their house-made vegan burger. In addition to a variety of salads, the Buddha Bowl is a crowd favorite, featuring quinoa, roasted veggies, beans, and homemade tahini dressing.
I highly recommend coming here to see Lucas, he is kind, friendly, attentive, professional, has amazing customer service skills and is well rounded on his knowledge behind the bar. He knows what’s he’s doing and you can tell he loves his job as he excels so well at his craft. I can’t thank him enough for an amazing experience at the Red Nun Bar and Grill! Steven also another bartender on shift was also exceptional and extremely kind and friendly. This bar has such a wonderful atmosphere and vibe I highly recommend checking this place out and sitting at the bar. Thank you Lucas and Steven for everything you guys are the best!!!

Love taking my fiance here for dinner! The atmosphere is always pleasant and the burgers are always perfect. I personally like to enjoy their Fire and Ice burger with their truffle fries on the side. Their ghost pepper cheese is a must-get 🤌 Their crispy brussels are a tasty addition to any meal! The service is always pleasant and on top of those refills, and ive never had to return a plate; perfect every time. HIGHLY recommend 👌

I had a daily special, Mac& Cheese with pulled pork, and it was excellent comfort food. I would imagine maybe in cold weather like the fall or winter, that dish would be even better! The beer choices were plentiful, with at least a dozen craft beers on tap. The atmosphere was casual, but classy, and friendly. The bar tenders were very easy going and professional, with a good grip on the food choices, and the drinks as well. A good overall impression, and i would go again for sure 👍

First time to the Red Nun. Very open feel, lots of TV's with sports on them. Staff is very kind. The food was excellent. I had the salmon rice bowl, and the salmon was perfectly cooked; slightly crisp on the outside while extremely tender inside. Flavors were very good! Also had the nachos, as well as some of their sweet potato fries, both excellent! The prices are a little high, but I have a hard time knocking them for that when everywhere else is expensive nowadays.
Devyn H — Google review
Delicious burgers BUT, they are served on English muffins(‽) Be sure to ask for a ciabatta bun if you aren’t open to the odd experience. But it was really VERY good. I got the fire and ice burger and the ghost pepper cheese is for real.

We had a great time coming to get dinner and drinks for the Irish Music Session! There are a ton of vegan options, including some really creative veggie burgers, which were handcrafted and not frozen for a change!

Service was good but the food wasn't great. I would not go here again. They need new menus. So gross I didn't even want to touch them.

I had the special, a Philly cheese steak and fries, and it was so good! The bread was perfectly toasted on the outside and soft on the inside, while the meat was tender and juicy and piled up to over flowing. The fries were piping hot and crispy without being over done. Service was friendly and attentive. Great experience!

Woolfie's Coffee and Breakfast Bakery is a beloved spot in Dennis Port, known for its delicious coffee, mouthwatering muffins, and hearty breakfast sandwiches. With the option to place advance orders online, customers can ensure they get their favorite treats even during busy times. This bakery has been a part of the community for over 50 years and continues to support local departments and organizations. The blueberry coffee cake, double chocolate, and banana chocolate chip muffins are highly recommended by patrons.
went to woolfies twice i loved it so much. cozy nostalgic vibes, the coffee is delicious, but the muffins were my favorite ever. the sizes are the biggest ive ever had and theyre so fluffy on the inside. the fact the top of the muffin (aka the best part) is so massive is what makes it the most perfect creation. i dream about these muffins now…

My first time at this bakery & it was awesome! The BEST gf blueberry muffin. It was huge & moist, didn't need to be toasted or buttered. And the coffee was excellent! A great setup, too. You walk in & order your food & then go outside to pick up your order. That's also where you the coffee fixins & the swag!

I absolutely love Woolfie’s! It’s a must stop! The service is very friendly and the breakfast bagel and iced coffee was delicious! We also ordered a few desserts and we are so happy we did! I would highly recommend stopping here if you are in Dennis!

Really delicious bakery and coffee place. We visited on Labor Day and it was busy. They forgot part of my order and had to wait a bit extra but not a big deal. The muffins were incredible they melt in your mouth and full of flavor. Jamaican blend coffee was great too. Self service for coffee condiments. Not cheap but good size portions.
Savvas K — Google review
Worth a stop. It has that feel of something that is a local institution. Also their ice coffee ice cubes to add to drinks are a good upgrade and the iced coffee was pretty darn good. Muffins were good and HUGE but it seems that’s 90% of their pastry selection ( I was admittedly a little late like 9 am-ish) BEC was good too.
Leah R — Google review
I have been going to Woolfies since I was very young. This is not the Woolfies I knew. They used little blueberries on the top and the inside has nothing. For what I paid for this muffin, I expected the same quality. It’s so disappointing that it’s not the same. Mr. Woolfie would be disappointed in how much it has changed. 😔
Sue L — Google review
Giving 3 stars because the quality of one of their famous muffins has declined significantly. Not sure if they are using cheaper ingredients which they probably are. The blueberry coffee cake has very small, looks like frozen blueberries on them now. They used to use regular sized blue berries that got melted throughout the muffin. Not good.
Todd K — Google review
This place is ridiculous! I wish they had one where I live on Long Island. Their baked goods are off the charts delicious and their home brewed coffees are so delicious. If you go, just be prepared to wait a bit, but I promise you’ll be happy!

O'Shea's Olde Inn is a traditional Irish pub that serves classic Irish dishes and a variety of drinks, including Guinness and spirits. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with live entertainment featuring local talent every night, makes it a popular spot for both locals and visitors. The hearty portions of food are crafted from traditional recipes, providing a delightful dining experience.
This is the place to be on a Sunday! The parking lot was full as we arrived to enjoy an evening of Irish music. Luckily, we found a spot but as we did not have a reservation we were seated in an ante room off the main dining room. That was fine because we can hear the music just as well. We had the chili, which was tasty and filling. We came more for the music, and that was spectacular. Highly recommended!

Cozy little Irish pub. Good food and service was also very good. It’s not huge and gets very crowded during peak times so best to call and make a reservation. Parking is also limited during peak times so keep that in mind as well. Atmosphere is nice and they often have live musicians playing.
Heather S — Google review
I’ve driven by O’Shea’s many times, always hoping to go there someday & to relive my visit to Ireland long ago. Finally had the chance to go! We didn’t have a reservation, but they sat us anyway, which I was happy about. There was a live band playing Irish music, which was lovely except it was quite ear-piercing. They certainly didn’t need the microphones they were using. The atmosphere was definitely just like an authentic Irish pub. Loved it. My daughter wanted a grilled cheese sandwich (she’s an adult) and was told she couldn’t have it because that was on the kids menu. I said you have the ingredients, right? Just make an adult size portion of the same meal and charge more. The waitress had to go in back to see if they would make her the meal. They did. I’d brought my own spring water (sensitive stomach) but was told I needed to return it to my car. I’ve never had a problem anywhere else, so we were going to leave, but the waitress brought me an empty cup I could use to drink it out of instead of the container I brought it in. So, we stayed. Our food was delicious. Maybe a little over priced, but still cooked well and it was enjoyable. Service was a little slow, but our waitress was very friendly and engaging. If you have a large group I would suggest making a reservation. They’re quite busy!

The music is still wonderful and I'm so happy that they've started it earlier. The atmosphere and staff are wonderful . The food has very much suffered though ,especially since the owner passed away about 7 years ago. I ordered a cup of clam chowder. Where are the the clams? It used to have bacon and not be so thick. Disappointing. I only ate some . At least at half left in the cup . Then, what used to be my favorite, lamb stew, that used to have good chunks of lamb, had hardly the 5 smallest of bites. Otherwise vegetables a lot of salt. Sad to have a favorite food place, not be a favorite food placeon a chilly evening, but its been heading this way for about 10 years. But,if I want a cool place for live Irish music and a drink,Ill go for it

Situated on the Bass River Marina waterfront, Summer Shanty is a seasonal restaurant offering delightful seafood and cocktails. With a regular schedule of live music on Fridays and Saturdays, it's an enjoyable spot for dining and relaxation. The menu features various seafood options including littlenecks, chowder, and lobster rolls. Guests can also enjoy watching boats at the marina while sipping their drinks. Additionally, the restaurant provides takeout and boat service.
We had a group of 5 and didn't have to wait at all for a table. We were given three location options. We choose to sit by the water and we're served by the sweetest girl(S/O Julia) I ordered the shrimp tacos with fries and let me tell you they did not disappoint!! The fries were cooked to perfection and the shrimp tacos were exceptional! Overall great place for any occasion! Would definitely recommend!

The Seafood platter was wonderful! A mango pineapple fresh salsa was the start over seared salmon. Whole clams were light and delicious! 🤤 you can’t go wrong with this view. Outdoor seating on the lawn by the marina and porch dining, with a sunset!

Summer Shanty – West Dennis, Cape Cod Rating: BS +++ (Now that’s Boomsauce!) If you’re looking for a waterfront spot with serious Cape Cod vibes and a side of sunset magic, Summer Shanty delivers. While the vegan options were limited (salad was the only safe bet for my food allergies), the experience was lifted by our incredible waitress, Kristen. She was patient, professional, and genuinely sweet—an absolute gem who made us feel welcome and cared for. She even took photos of Ingredients. Truly customer centric attitude. Now, onto the food that stole the show: - My son wasn’t even planning to eat much, but one bite of the chowdahh and fish & chips had his jaw on the floor. “Perfect,” he said. That’s high praise from a tough critic. - My wife went for the shrimp tacos and couldn’t stop raving. Flavor, texture, presentation—it hit all the marks. The vibe? Casual, breezy, and right on the water. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back, sip something cold, and watch the boats drift by. --- 🎯 The Boomsauce Scale™ Rating Meaning B Basura (trash) BS Basic (Come on! Try harder) BS + Better (Yo! That’s better) BS ++ Best (Alright! Alright! Alrightttt!) BS +++ Amazing location! Now that’s boomsauce! --- Final verdict: While I’d love to see more inclusive options for folks with dietary restrictions, the service and seafood were so on point that I’m giving Summer Shanty a rock-solid BS +++. Amazing location, great energy, and food that made my family’s night. That’s boomsauce, baby.

There for lunch, very busy but we found seats at the bar Got the bang bang cauliflower and streamers app. They were excellent. For lunch we had fried clam platter and the best of cape cod jumbo size (lobster roll, cole slaw, ff’s and a cup of chowder) Both great choices This place keeps us coming back every time we visit Cape Cod
Peter E — Google review
The hospitality begins when the matron at the door greets you with “Look, if you’re just having drinks and apps you’re sitting out there. I ain’t putting you on the porch. If you’re having dinner, you can squeeze in up there on 2 tables pushed together” It was 3:30. There were, to count, 11 people at the restaurant. The hospitality continues when the waitress informs Grandma that she “Can’t make any substitutions on our most popular burger. So sorry about that!” The request was spicy mayo on the side. The hospitality reaches a crowning moment when the ice water arrives in 10-oz plastic cups that buckle when you pick them up, the drinks are served in the cans they were shipped in (or again, plastic cups) and dinner arrives on - not even exaggerating - paper plates about 20% south of Chinet-quality. Sauces oozing straight through to the table. Plastic knives (oh yes - all plastic cutlery) cutting through said soggy plates. They got the Shanty part right. Survey says: anywhere but here, folks. It’s a glorified pub with crab cakes from the freezer and fries as beige as Vineyard Vines khakis. So many places to explore and enjoy $22 burgers. So many better places.
Adam M — Google review
The food was good but we had to wait 1 hour before we could eat and when we tried to get take out they said it wasn’t possible!!
Laury C — Google review
Great view, no wait. Food menu online is larger than actual menu in restaurant. Burger was plain, not worth the money & charged $1.50 extra to add pickle to burger. Fries were bland - frozen, no seasoning. Shrimp po boy was okay. $15 for very small cocktail, maybe 8oz. Served in same small plastic cup as water & soda ($3.50). They also stop serving food at 8pm.

The restaurant also offers delicious appetizers like mozzarella sticks that disappear quickly! First-time visitors have enjoyed a variety of dishes through delivery services, including baked ziti and gluten-free options.

1st time trying this establishment. Got Door Dash delivery. Our driver had to wait an extra 15 minutes for our order once he arrived at Paradise, but it was worth the wait. We ordered the Mozzarella sticks, Baked Ziti, two Meatballs side orders, and a Gluten Free “The Bahamas” pizza (no cheese.) The Meatballs were excellent and the sauce scrumptious. There was a lot of Baked Ziti, so 1/2 was saved for another day. The Mozzarella sticks were very good (6 came with order, but one was eaten before I could get a picture!) The Gluten Free crust was delicious, but (due to the garlic & oil) could have been cooked a bit more in the center (next time I know to order it “well done.”) Ingredients on pizza were scrumptious but I expected the fresh tomatoes to be sliced, not whole chunks on the pizza. It was a bit much. LOVED the amount of garlic used!! Chef after my own heart! I definitely recommend Paradise Pizza!

They were offering a special in a veal Parm sub for $9.95 a $1 discount. I got it Saturday night and everyone loved it. We got it again late Monday night it was still good but what we got Saturday I feel was better but I would have no problem ordering it again or recommending it.

Avoid! Way overpriced. Mediocre pizza. Awful service. As locals we have eaten here for 20 years. Specialty pizza is decent. Cheese pizza is like a frozen totinos. We ordered a pepperoni and after waiting an hour for off time delivery Gbert brought a cheese. Everyone makes mistakes and it is how you fix them that matters. When I called, the guy aknowledged he made the wrong item but had no way to get me a new pizza. I asked for a refund and he said didnt know how to reverse it for a few bucks. It’s like ordering salmon and getting cod and the manager saying well you got fish so why complain. For $54 for two small pizzas I expect more understanding. We’ve ordered four times in the last month and this will be the last.

Nestled in the heart of Dennis, MA, Cleat & Anchor is a must-visit dining destination that perfectly blends casual Cape Cod charm with modern flair. This vibrant restaurant offers a variety of dining experiences including dine-in, kerbside pickup, and delivery to suit your preferences. Whether you choose to savor your meal in their cozy interior or enjoy the lively atmosphere on their patio—transformed into a beer garden during summer nights—you’re sure to have an unforgettable experience.
If you think “gluten free” means “sad, flavorless, cardboard-adjacent,” you clearly haven’t been to the Cleat. I came for a drink and left a devoted disciple of their house-made gluten-free chicken fingers—crispy, golden perfection that could make even the most die-hard wheat lover convert. These aren’t your frozen-from-a-bag imposters. They’re tender on the inside, shatter-crisp on the outside, seasoned like someone in the kitchen actually cares (because they do), and paired with sauces that make you wonder if you’ve been wasting your dipping potential your whole life. Honestly, they taste so good, I had to triple-check they were gluten free…and then I ate more. The rest of the menu is stacked with GF-friendly options that don’t feel like “alternatives” — they feel like the main event. Add in the fact that the place has a laid-back Cape vibe, local craft beers, and a staff that’s so friendly you’ll think you accidentally wandered into a friend’s backyard cookout, and you’ve got yourself a spot worth bookmarking and bragging about. If you’re gluten-free on Cape Cod, stop Googling “where can I eat?” and just come here. And if you’re not gluten-free? Come anyway. The chicken fingers alone are a public service. Cleat & Anchor: Proof that eating gluten free doesn’t mean giving up flavor — it means finding the right table to sit at.

Visited this spot around 8pm on a Sunday evening and easily found a spot at the bar-there were also some open tables. Had a GLUTEN FREE fried chicken sandwich with french fries, which can be nearly impossible to find. For anyone who doesn’t like mayo, I added that before taking this photo. The food is served in large portions-many folks at the bar ordered the nachos, which come in a half or full portion. Also, had the prickly pear lemonade “mocktail” Great service and the bartender checked with the chef on any Gluten Free questions I had about the menu. Open for brunch on weekends, opens at 4pm during the week. I wish I lived closer. 5 stars!

Cleat and Anchor has impressed us every time we've visited. The cocktail menu is absolutely amazing, their bar manager really knows what they're doing. They also have a great beer selection, with some sought after and hard to find breweries on tap. The biggest reason my wife and I keep going back is that they have a great selection of Gluten-Free fried food, including mozzarella squares and fried pickles! This is a great spot for a date night, a quick bite, or a big party. Indoor is intimate and dim, and their outside space is open and lively. Our friends with kids love their "Toddler Rave" events, a great time to bring the little ones out during the day. Always good live music lineups.

I'm not a bad review type of person but I was disappointed. I walked in after visiting 4 other places where I couldn't get a seat at the bar since I was traveling alone. I was able to sit down and sit next to someone who was not working but because they were probably short staffed or had a new bartender working she jumped right in. But it took a while to be asked if I wanted anything or if I was ready to order. Nothing on the menu called out to me. Typical fried everything. So I got an old stand by, Fish and Chips. Fish was decent. I think they need to change the name to French fries or just fries. They aren't chips. Chips are like steak fries, not frozen tasteless potatoes. They also gave me about 2lbs of fries too. I ate only a quarter of what I was given. If I were management, maybe cut your own potatoes, chip size, season them, and serve about a 1/4 of what I was given tonight. I see the place has plenty of good reviews so maybe I was there on a bad night.
Chris L — Google review
The dry rub Buffalo tenders are different, we didn't like them. The fish and chips were average and the pulled pork mac n' cheese was good. Our server was okay, we wanted to love this place but probably won't rush back. The beer selection was very good, maybe next time we go just for drinks.
Edward B — Google review
So many gluten free options! I got the fish and chips and they were delicious. They have a separate fryer for gluten free fried items. The parking lot has few spots and seems dangerous too. Even if you park across the street, it is such a busy road and there is no crosswalk. The restaurant and parking can be difficult for wheelchair users or folks with mobility aids. The parking lot is gravel and the entrance is on the side/back of the lot. Inside, the space is accessible itself but the bathrooms are tiny and require a step up. They should have an accessible bathroom.

Although we already have a lot of favorite spots for breakfast on the Cape, we decided to give this place a try based on a recommendation from my brother. Wasn't crowded on a Monday morning, so we were seated and served promptly. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Even came by with fresh coffee during our meal. Wife and I both enjoyed our meals.... French toast and pancakes... Home fries were decent and better than usual. We'll definitely return in the future!

First, we walked in and the place was nearly empty. 3 families were already yet we stood for 5 minutes before having to ask if we could sit anywhere(the sign said, 'please wait to be seated.' We selected a table and sat down. We waited another 5 minutes, during which time we watched 1 of the 2 waitresses ask if a table wanted more coffee..she then began to dress another table *there were several already set up.* I used to be a manager at a restaurant. The customers waiting are a priority. When we got up to leave, SURPRISE! We were acknowledged. We drove down the road to the Breakfast Room, and the service was immediate, friendly and accommodating. We will be eating our Breakfasts this week at the Breakfast Room.

I came in ahead of 3 parties. All 3 of those parties were greeted, served & had their food before I received any attention. My food was longest in coming. One party who came in after me had their food ate it paid their check & I still had no food after more than 30 minutes. They value some customers over others. It is very sad because their food is good if you can get it & prices are reasonable.

No stars. We entered the restaurant and were told to sit anywhere we would like. I had to use the restroom and told my boyfriend that I would like a coffee if the waiter comes over. When I got back to the table, he told me that a waiter went around the whole area filling coffee for all the tables. He said no one came over to ours, and avoided eye contact with him. A couple that came in after us, was greeted served coffee, and ordered before anyone came to our table. We sat there for over ten minutes while the blonde waitress gave us dirty looks and avoided us, doing absolutely nothing but leaning on the bar. Several staff walked back and forth, avoiding our table. Finally, after 15 minutes we left without even being acknowledged. They all should be fired. It wasn’t even busy. The owner needs a whole new staff. I’m going to post this on everything.

Delicious breakfast. Pleasant service with a smile , clean and no wait. The people that work here know how to treat customers. This is my new favorite breakfast in dennisport .

This place was really disappointing the food seemed like it was cooked in old greece! The waitress was very unprofessional when we got our bill we questioned it we have a coupon for half off a breakfast and 4 of us ate .total come up to 56.00 with taxes but 70.00 was put on the check we questioned it and she was very rude! We even brought out the calculator which we didn’t even need math isn’t that hard hello then she stated oh we didn’t add juice ok well I added then she stated the rest was taxes well not 20.00 ! she’s like 7 percent . ok not 20.00 so that was her tip what ever . As we left the building she’s turned around and flips my husband off are you kidding me !! Shitty service I wouldn’t go there one bit and very unprofessional!! She didn’t want to talk nor explain anything she blew everything off !!!

Clean Slate Eatery/ La Tacodilla is a warm and relaxed spot that offers elevated seasonal New American and tapas plates, along with a selection of wine and beer. La Tacodilla, located in the parking lot of the now-closed Clean Slate Eatery, was created as a pandemic pivot. This innovative food truck serves some of the crispiest griddled corn tortillas and delicious Mexican dishes such as quesabirria oozing with fried cheese.
😋 🇲🇽 ¡Finger lickin’ bueno! Delicious grilled tacos and Mexican grilled cheese sandwiches (frankly, they were quite similar). We tried the braised beef, chicken, and the Brussels sprouts and all were equally delicious. The come with dipping sauces, a thin beef stock for the beef, a delectable, mild-medium spiced chile sauce for chicken, and a spiced, sweet potato purée for the Brussels. FYI the Mexican grilled cheese/sandwich order is a massive amount of food. Check it out! NOTE: If you order in advance at (busy!) lunch, be sure to ask them to cook right away and clearly check-in when you get there. We were told on the phone that it would be ready in 15-20 minutes and upon arrival, I went up and was told they would call my name but then 10 min. later, I heard them say “tell me when Josh is here” as for some weird reason, they didn’t cook in line with when we ordered. They were insanely busy so just all miscommunication and they were nice about it. They may want to ask phone orders to check-in, if that’s how they want to do it.

My wife visited this place with her friends today and brought home some tacos for me. Not only were they the best tacos I've had, but among the best food I've eaten. I'd dare to call it a religious experience (only other eating experience I've described this way was the first steak I had @ Wolfgang's Steakhouse in NYC). Not sure if the tears I shed were from how good the tacos were or from the spice...maybe both. Last thought: I need the consomè sauce injected into my veins.

May 1,2021.Currently take out only. I hope this hidden gem comes back. 2019: Hidden in a tiny shack in the middle of a parking lot is a true foodie gem of the Cape Cod. The nine course dinner was fabulous! The moans of the sixteen diners could be heard through the dinner " oooh this is so good". The sixteen diners sit around the table where chef Jason with the help of two helpers put the creative dishes together. The menu changes every month. Our dinner started with the local oyster with lemon sorbet and horshredish served on a rock covered with seaweed. A treat for the eye and the pallet. Some of the other offerings included a scallops and pork, chuck flap (pot roast) in a miso soup, sword fish. There was an optional course: fois gras to share. The meal ended with a cheese course and a desert. The bill for two people $243 including adminstrative fee which allows the tip to be shared by the entire kitchen staff and servers. This price includes the extra course but no wine pairing. This is a true hidden gem, I am so glad we found it.

Where have you been all my life? Crispy, cheesy, succulent beef in a flavor bomb that just blasts through any preconceived notions of what a taco or grilled cheese should be. A must try when you're in or passing through Dennis. Even if you're on the other side of the galaxy, you should factor in a detour to try La Tacodilla lest you have regrets in the event of your passing from this life to the next. Great service, even greater food.

Had dinner at Clean Slate twice last year in one week (it is that good, and I live in Chicago so that’s saying something!). Was sad Clean Slate couldn’t have service due to COVID but then was very happy to see they set up La Tacodilla as an alternative. Delicious street tacos with the option of making them into a tacodilla (taco + quesadilla), which I would recommend. Tacodillas are A+. Another hit from this team. They are amazing.

I’ve been a patron of the Mechantile for probably 12 years or longer. It is a pleasure to go there the services excellent the food is just delicious. The baked goods are beyond good. I’ve been eating the same sandwich for the entire 12+ years that I have been going to the Mechantile. I’ve recommended many People eat here and they have all thoroughly enjoyed it. Not quite what it used to be when I used to come here in the 90s - early 2000s, but it is still phenomenal! Their muffins are great, the staff is usually great, and there's plenty of seating. I order the club merc every time I come, and have yet to be disappointed. Thank you Merc staff!

Decent enough place to get a sandwich. They were good enough but not enough to rate five stars. Gotta ask. Why do you have to put in sooo much mayonnaise in your chicken salad. Do you think people really like it or is it just to save money?

We love this place! Have ordered several times before and the food is always so delicious. Sometimes the wait is a little long during busy times or holiday weekends but it is so worth it to be patient, you won’t regret it. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone! Also recommend the spring rolls, pad Thai and basil fried rice! Thank you again!

Great appetizers Fried rice boring needs some spice! I can’t review my entree because I didn’t get what I ordered! Ordered Pad Thai and received some nasty curry chicken sauté. Immediately called to advise and owner basically told me “Tough Luck” Not good business in beautiful Dennisport! Shame on you old man!

Great, well prepared meals! We started with fresh spring rolls (8 pieces), my wife had the vegetarian mango curry which was excellent, I had the spicy thai eggplant with shrimp, delicious, it had 6 nice size shrimp. I tried the housemade iced ginger drink which was a good choice (they do not serve alcohol). We will be back!

First time in the area and I enjoy trying Thai in new places. This was absolutely worth it!! At a new spot I always try a chicken pad Thai and theirs was delicious! The husband was adorable and we chatted a little about me being from out of town etc. The wife darn well knows what she's doing back there in the kitchen!! I have yet to find decent Thai in Connecticut that I hardly eat it anymore. I was SO thrilled to find this little gem on my cape getaway. Excited to try the Panang curry next!!

I've enjoyed lunch here twice and loved every bite! The crispy fried chicken over Basil fried rice was spicy and satisfying. The portions are huge so you can easily share or enjoy leftovers. The spring rolls were crispy and the veggies inside were tender and well seasoned. The restaurant itself is clean and inviting and the owners are sweet and helpful if you are trying something new! If you are new to Thai food, as I am, Thai Ocha provides a great introduction!

The cafe is famous for its mouth-watering coffee beans that are roasted on-site, providing visitors with top-class beverages. The inviting atmosphere, complete with cushy chairs and lush plants, sets the stage for a delightful experience.
Delicious espresso drinks pulled from Rocket espresso machines. Lots of great single origins and blends beans options. Service was painfully slow. Quirky atmosphere with a roastery and cafe in the same giant barn-like room with no attempt at baffling to improve the sound. Will come back.

Very cool spot to catch up with friends and drink a good cup of coffee. They also had a selection of local goods. If you see the Guava bites from Andrea’s Kitchen, get them! The coffee was a medium flavor in roast and not very strong (if you are used to that). Just a good cup of coffee.

We were visiting Cape Cod and love supporting local coffee houses instead of chains. I was so grateful for 3 fins (after visiting another local coffee shop that was supposed to be good, and we actually were very disappointed by) because not only is the ambiance of their coffee house cozy and inviting, their coffee was absolutely delicious and one of our favorites while we visited. The staff are very friendly and the prices are pretty reasonable. I highly recommend you give it a try. You will not be disappointed! ✌️☀️ oh, yes, the beignets were delicious as well!

Been coming here for years and have always enjoyed it. Great location, easy parking, cool decor and vibe. Coffee is usually good. Unfortunately, the last two visits the hot latte I usually get was more tepid than hot. My partner was frustrated enough to take hers back for a re-do which was kindly accommodated, but the new one was the same, sort of tepid. I tend to avoid drama so just drank mine without the typical enjoyment. Could your milk thermometer be broken? Maybe a training deficiency? I'd much rather give a 5-star review to this establishment but can't justify it when I can't depend on my hot latte to be hot, especially at today's prices plus advance tip. Sadly, I'll reluctantly go elsewhere now for my coffee experience. In fact I was at the Three Fins in Chatham a couple days ago, ordered the same drink, and it was appropriately hot and delicious.

First time on the Cape in several years, and am very happy to have found Three Fins. Iced latte is smooth and delicious. Seafood restaurant
Sand Bar in West Dennis is a modest-sized, seasonal pub that offers stunning views of the river marsh at West Dennis Beach. The restaurant provides both indoor and outdoor seating, with a casual menu featuring pizza, sandwiches, and seafood like fish tacos. Visitors can enjoy outdoor dining, lawn games, and nighttime entertainment such as live bands and karaoke. While parking can be challenging due to its popularity during the summer, the overall experience is rated highly for its friendly staff and classic coastal fare.
We were there at the end of Hurricane Lee day, and watched a most amazing sunset from the porch. The food and the service was just as amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had the clam platter and the fish and chips with a bottle of wine. Probably one of the best F&C I’ve had on the Cape to date. Clams were perfect! Lots of French fries and fresh coleslaw. Perfect evening with a perfect sunset and dinner.

Really nice atmosphere. We enjoyed the live music. We share a seafood platter and a shrimps scampi pizza, and they were both very decent. The must slide was very good. The host was very nice and friendly. The waitress was a little bit confused and kept dropping the check without asking if we are all set and ready to pay first. Other than that, everything else was good.
Monica B — Google review
Food, drinks, atmosphere are all awesome. Some advice to ownership: fix your valet system and offer paper tickets when you leave your car. Anyone can steal anyone’s car. It’s all on the honors system and not a secure place to eat if you have a super nice car as anyone can just come and say your car is there’s and take it. It’s an easy fix that would go a long way.
Anthony C — Google review
This spot offers such a relaxing outdoor dining experience, and it truly has the potential to be magnificent. However, it feels like very little effort has been made to transform it into the gem it could be. I'm not entirely sure about the history of the place, but perhaps there are plans to improve the building and outdoor seating area, allowing guests to fully appreciate the beautiful marsh view. To me, it evokes the charm of old Cape Cod, reminiscent of the restaurants I knew as a child. This isn't because it's striving for a vintage vibe, but rather because the place simply appears worn and a bit stuck in the past.
V S — Google review
Great place to enjoy fantastic food and a beautiful location. They have the great quality casual Beach food- this is a typical food shack. The prices are typical of today's inflated food market. You will get fresh well made food here. They seem to be out of a few things so keep in mind that may happen. There is VERY limited parking. It's a small place and they can only serve so many therefore parking is equally challenging. The setting is gorgeous. I included photos of that because who wouldn't want to enjoy eating here? 😁👍 Enjoy The Sand Bar! If you have found my review helpful please give me a thumbs up 👍 and feel free to follow me for future reviews.

The service was a bunch of young kids that were more interested in playing games with each other than working. Our waiter literally was playing poker with other staff we couldn’t even place an order. We had to move to the bar it was so bad and then the service there was average at best. Overall the worst service I have ever had it was an embarrassment really so terriblly run. There needs to be a manager there. The food is good and the atmosphere is nice that’s the only plus here has potential if they get a real staff that is interested in actually working.

After the movies last night, we were starving and needed a place that served food around 9 p.m., so thankfully, we found this place. The downside was that they only served appetizers after 9 pm. That was fine because at least they had food. Most bars stop serving all food around then. We got clam chowder, which was a bit salty, but it was okay. We also got three types of wings. We got Buffalo, BBQ, and a Garlic Parmesean dry rub on the tenders/boneless wings. Our waitress was very nice, but it seemed like she kept forgetting about us after giving us our food, so another guy had to check on us and grab our plates. My boyfriend also got sick from his chicken tenders, so yikes! But it was a very nice place overall.

Pretty standard strip mall sport bar food, hits the spot but definitely isn’t amazing. Inside is nice and clean lots of TVs and Keno. 20$ for large pizzas is a fair price compared to other places nearby. Would eat here again.
Alan D — Google review
Order wing dings to go and fries. Fries were absolutely cold to the touch and the wings were soggy and disgusting! Never ordering for here again and you would think if you are spending over $30 for wings it would at least come with homemade blue cheese, not the 50 cent Ken packets for stop and shop! Had to put in air fryer for a last stitch effort to save dinner and try to crisp up the wings, so I don’t have to lose the $40 I spent hoping for a good dinner, but it is TRASH. Order from somewhere else!

Onion rings and potato skins were delicious! The chicken broccoli alfredo left something to be desired though. The sauce, noodles, and bread are great, but the chicken was so bland I always made sure to grab some Alfredo sauce with it to make it taste better. It was super busy so service wasn't amazing but it wasn't horrible either. All in all, we'd go back but please season your chicken!

The bar boasts a wide selection of classic and unique cocktails, an impressive wine list, 24 beers on tap, and eight flat-screen TVs for sports enthusiasts. Guests can also enjoy live entertainment from Wednesday to Saturday nights. The spacious pub features ample parking, pleasant decor, booth and small table seating as well as room for live bands.
Went back again today for a second time and it was fantastic. Our bartender was Awesome!

For a bar in a strip mall, this place is relatively decent. Their beer selection far and away exceeds most Cape venues, branching out significantly beyond just Bud Light. The decor is halfway towards being trendy...they have the wood paneling and the faux-tin ceiling tiles, however, the resulting ambiance is mish-mash at best, and ultimately, you're not going to forget you're in a strip mall next to a liquor store. The drink menu was reasonably trendy and tasty, although the prices reflected the upscale vibe that Etzy's clearly hopes but fails to achieve. Although the bartender was both fast and personable, I was informed by the manager that I was not welcome to sit in the half-empty dining room at 8 pm if I wasn't having a full meal. Ultimately, I got the sense that as a 30-something enjoying drinks with my friend and having appetizers rather than a full meal, I was not welcome at Etzy's.

Bartender Danielle was AWESOME!! Manager/bartender Kelly was AWESOME also!! Great fun and great music. Great place to go when your on vacation and want to relax! We listened to a Jazz band, a Blue's band and a Solo which were all fun! Can't wait to come back!

We had a reservation and our table was ready when we arrived but we didn’t like the vibe inside. There was a band playing and it was too loud to talk. Our table of 8 sat down outside on couches around a small table. The hostess was happy to accommodate moving us outside but then she forgot us. We waited about 20 minutes before going back to her to ask where our waitress was. She was very apologetic and took our drink order. A few minutes later our waitress came over to clarify our order. The waitress was not familiar with the drink menu. About 30 minutes after arriving our group finally had a drink in hand. We ordered a few appetizers. Unfortunately the clams were sent out mostly unopened and some were cracked. The waitress said she would take them off the bill. We asked to order our main course but were informed we should wait because there was a problem with the ticket machine in the kitchen and the chef was backed up. When we started talking about leaving we were promised a round of drinks on the house again. When we finally placed our order, the waitress neglected to write down one of the entree’s, a burger, and when the food was delivered she said it would be another 10-15 minutes before that item would arrive. I will say everyone enjoyed the food and the waitress was very apologetic. Unfortunately when the bill arrived, there were just a few drinks that we weren’t charged for. Also the clams were on there as well as the burger which really should have been on the house at that point. We were not the only customers who weren’t satisfied. Looked to me like a bad case of mismanagement. Our group remained cheerful and optimistic and made the best of a bad situation. Needless to say, we will be skipping this place the next time we are in town.

This is a nice Pub located in Dennis Port with plenty of parking and a pleasant decor. The bar is huge with three sides. there is both booth and small table seating plus room for a small band which was what I found when I arrived. Good music! They also have outside dining and even heaters for Spring/Fall dining! I ordered a drink which was around $9. It was large and perfectly poured. I also took a seat in the dining area and ordered Fries to munch on while I enjoyed the great band . The food came quickly, the waiter brought the Cocktail Sauce I asked for, and they were not greasy at all. I had a pleasant evening and will return soon.

Poor service and there’s only about 40 people here tops! They seem more focused on the dishwasher. 3 different people unloading it! Meanwhile people who want to spend money aren’t even given a glance. As a local this is a shame. Add to that I just changed my star to 1. I ordered a pizza. After a half hour and 2 people confirming my order and my name for my card. I was told “the slip didn’t Go through.” She offered me a mistake pizza which I said if no charge I would take. She agreed. I don’t know how long this place is going to last! A shame, very nice atmosphere.

Morrell's Restaurant & Catering is a charming, family-owned eatery that embodies the essence of comfort dining. With a focus on locally sourced seafood and an array of daily specials, it’s the perfect spot for those evenings when you crave home-cooked meals without the hassle of cooking yourself. Their take-out options are particularly popular, featuring mouthwatering prime rib dinners paired with real mashed potatoes and fresh sautéed vegetables—ideal for unwinding after a long week.
Sometimes I just feel like eating at home, but I don't feel like cooking. Great take-out prime rib dinner. Real mashed potatoes. Fresh sauteed veggies. So affordable and delicious. Especially on a Friday or Saturday night after a long work week!

Good food, reasonable cost, great service. The perfect choice if your party is split between meat or fish, full meals or lighter fare. There are gluten free options and a decent bar. Get dinner before the six o'clock rush. Only nit... The desserts are bland. But hard to beat for lunch or dinner.

Wonderful family owned restaurant, with a good variety of options. I do have a favorite dish that i6frequently order and it never fails to satisfy. The staff is friendly and help to create a comfortable, family-friendly environment.

Food was great, service wasn't ... Based on the recommendations, we came to have dinner with our little family, a party of two adults and two little girls, one is four the other one two. It was a Sunday evening, and the place was not really busy. Our waitress, Tracy, managed to seat us within a very short period of time, but we had to wait around 10 minutes until we finally got the menu. In the meantime minimum two other parties arrived, were greeted, seated and received their menus. We ordered starters for starters and main course. My wife had the tuna and the blue crab cakes. I had the pulled pork nachos, and also the blue crab cake. The food was very very good. It was fresh, presented in a very nice way, and tasted deliciously. The kids had an order of mac & cheese, which came with a side of fries. Priced at eight (8)! dollars per proportion, this is already at the higher end of the scale. The portion was small, at least the mac & cheese part of it. We had to order another one, so Our girls would be satisfied. Normally one child portion is enough to feed both of our daughters. My wife wanted to get a beer with the food, and it took forever to finally being able to wave down Tracy so she would bring us the beer. We did also not get a refill on any of the water or soft drinks for the kids during the entire time. When we finally wanted to settle the check, we had to wave down Tracy again, and again another party was settled before us. Upon reviewing the check we were overcharged with one starter which Tracy took off the bill immediately and apologized. Finally we even had to wave her down to hand her the card for payment as she again rushed past us. We would have had an understanding for this lack of attention, if the place would've really been busy, but it wasn't. At the end she apologized for for the craziness which we assume she meant that there were a couple of seats filled. However we have no understanding, that on a Sunday night, some customers, especially if they appear to be locals, get better treatment than the apparent tourist family which is in from out of town. Especially after the wrong charge, had I been in her shoes, I would have at least offered a scoop of ice cream or a candy to the girls, just to make a mend for all the mishaps. We would highly recommend this place for the food, however do not expect to get the friendliest of service, especially with little kids.

Chapin's Bayside is a laid-back eatery that offers a variety of coastal favorites, pasta dishes, and grilled steaks. The restaurant features a charming patio and a raw bar for seafood enthusiasts. Recent visitors had an enjoyable experience at the bustling Friday night spot, praising the quality of the food and drinks. The standout dishes included salmon and scallops, while the service received high praise for being friendly and efficient despite the busy evening.
Great date night with the wife while on vacation. The flatbread was amazing as well as my nashville hot chicken sandwich. And the cocktails were scrumdiddlyumptious. Joe the manager even "managed" to get me a Harvey Wall Banger. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

Service was slow. We called right before we got there and asked if there was a wait for 2. She said no, we have two tables open. I said I’ll see you in 2 minutes. We get there, I hate that they have valet and I have no choice in the matter to not use it. So we go inside and ask for a table for two and she has us waiting for 15 min for the table. Then we get to the table, and it’s this tiny thing squished in between two large tables full of people. I couldn’t even pull my chair out without hitting woman behind me. Waitress didn’t come for like 10 minutes. She didn’t really check in with us. I had to ask her for everything. The food was not great at all. $18 crab cake was mush and falling apart but tasted ok. Caesar salad looked like it was thrown on the plate and so sloppy and waaaay over dressed. My nachos were a joke. $18 for 8 chips with toppings on them and everything underneath was bare, no cheese, no chicken nothing. **see photos** probably will not be returning here and we are locals.

Chapin’s Bayside is a true summer classic — the kind of spot that instantly puts you in vacation mode. It’s the place to be when the sun’s out, flip-flops are on, and you’re craving something that screams Cape Cod. Their peanut butter mudslides are downright legendary. Rich, creamy, and perfectly boozy — they taste like summer in a glass and are worth the visit alone. However, the $45 lobster roll left much to be desired. While the portion looked generous, it was mostly claw and minced meat, lacking the plump, buttery tail chunks you’d expect at that price point. It didn’t quite deliver the wow factor, especially when compared to what other local spots are serving. That said, the service was excellent — warm, attentive, and upbeat, which definitely added to the experience. Chapin’s still holds its charm and is worth a visit, but for the lobster roll, you might want to look elsewhere. Just don’t skip that mudslide.

Stopped in for the first time in a while only because we knew it was under new ownership. We appreciated the valet parking and all employees were very polite and friendly. Had a couple of good cocktails, not as heavy handed as we like but still good. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. Definitely will drop in again.

Very cool place and cool vibes. Music was great. Drinks great. Oysters fine, pizza small and just passable-nothing special. I am from MA and have ordered fish and chips a thousand times. The one I got last night is probably in the top 3 worse ever. Thin, dry, almost inedible. Look I really liked the place-my first time there. But man, figure out how to make a decent fish and chips for $27.

Chapins has always been a great place to splurge on drinks and dinner in the summer time. Have not been there in a few years. Always thought very good. Very disappointed tonight. The wait staff was very good. We were Looking forward to order the beer batter fish and chips which was one large piece for fish, It is now potato crusted fish, three small pieces. Grotons frozen sticks would have been the same in not better. We were served with a dirty water glass, ordered the steamed clams and hair in a clam shell. Then when we got the bill, we were charged for the clams despite informing of the hair. Now we under stand why the dining room was only filled about 25% between 5 and 6 pm on a Saturday night in August. Your location will still allows for customers but as a local, won’t be back. So sad.

We came to this spot on vacation to the raw bar to enjoy some fresh oysters. We were giving menus sat with them for over 10 min. No one from entry til we were about to order told us they don’t serve raw bar Monday and Tuesday until we tried to order. The menus we were handed had raw bar on them. We were not just going by online. So they gave us menus saying they had oysters tuna etc. but when ready to order we’re told we don’t serve that Monday and Tuesday. Hey I get when you are miles away from the ocean. But we are on the ocean. If it shared on the menus or on line we would have picked a different day to visit them. Just very disappointed with the overall experience. Just let the public know we don’t offer the menu we advertise or set in front of you during your visit.

Takeout Restaurant
Located in Dennis Port, Swan River Seafood Restaurant is a veteran seafood house offering local catches and American standards with a full bar. The restaurant provides breathtaking views of the calm waters and scenic surroundings of Swan River, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely paddle or a refreshing swim at the beach. Visitors can enjoy oceanfront dining while taking in the picturesque setting of small summer bungalows and seaside motels along Olde Cape Cod.
We had our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at Swan River and it was one of my favorite parts of our wedding weekend!! We met with Marita a year ago to see the restaurant and after speaking with her for about 5 minutes we booked it on the spot! She was so welcoming and accommodating I had zero worries about our event! She set us up in the main bar area and the dining room directly off of the bar. Great with communication and she reached out a couple weeks before the day to finalize counts and food choices. The day of, she let us come in early with our decor to set up and was there to help. The night of, we arrived and the food was delicious, staff was great, and timing of the rest of the dinner was fantastic. I think they had another rehearsal dinner going on in another part of the restaurant, but I didn't even notice because we had great service and the set up of the restaurant was perfect. Also have to mention that the view is beautiful. When we shifted into our welcome drinks, we had about 120 people roll in. Everyone had a blast and the staff handled it with ease. Would highly recommend for any event and I am looking forward to going back for dinner during our future Cape visits!! Thank you!!

This restaurant has a fabulous location that looks down the Swan River to it's outlet into the ocean. The interior is a bit rustic and Spartan, but bright. The views of the river are visible from all throughout the restaurant and the small outside deck. It's a casual place so you can come as you are. We didn't see many kids while we were there, but it seemed kid friendly. The offerings are typical Cape seafood at Cape prices. That said, they know how to prepare it to perfection and the portions are fair. I'd love to see a wider selection of appetizers and desserts, but the main courses are delicious.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Swan River Restaurant and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We worked with Marita, who was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond to make the night seamless and special, always calm, patient, and so easy to work with. Her communication throughout the process was top-notch, and she made everything stress-free. The evening turned out beautifully, and our guests raved about the food, service and atmosphere. We highly recommend Marita and Swan River Restaurant for any special event!

Second and last time we will ever get takeout from this place. Second time tonight was worse than two nights ago. The other night we ordered three 2 lb lobsters with fries and an order of steamers. All three lobsters were overcooked and tough to chew. We spent a lot and should have gotten what we paid for. They also didn't give us any ketchup for three orders of fries. Fast forward to tonight, gave them another chance. Mistake. Again the lobsters were overcooked and tough to chew, but they didn't even give us any butter for them. Absolutely ridiculous. Only gave butter for the steamers. And look at the tiny potions of fries we received this time. Looks like someone ate most of them and gave us leftovers. Oh and when I placed the order, I specifically asked for ketchup, she repeated it back to me. And look here, we did not get ketchup again. Well we're done spending money at this place. Stay away from them.

I appreciate the hard working staff and beautiful views at Swan River, but the food fell flat considering the plating, taste, and prices. Our oysters had shards of shells that got stuck in our mouths as we tried to eat them which is may I say, awful. The caprese salad was a stack of beefsteak tomato slices with mozzarella balls layered in between and one leaf of basil. It looked like a tomato hamburger and tasted bland. Boyfriend ordered shrimp scampi and I ordered the fish n chips (with mashed potatoes instead of fries.) Prices were between $25-$35 per plate and just didn’t hold a candle to other eateries we’ve been to that offer similar dishes at the same (or lower) prices.

We had two of the best dining experiences at Swan River this past week. Called 2-3 hours beforehand to get a reservation, they were able to get us in at the time we wanted. The food was phenomenal - such fresh seafood - and the views and service matched it. Like honestly incredible service, we had a younger woman with curly brown hair. We have been going to another place in the area which I won't mention every year, and got such horrible service there that we left to get lobster roll takeout at Swan River, and it was ready in 10 minutes, which was a godsend after waiting an hour for service at the other place and not even getting our food with a hungry baby. Love Swan River and will be making this our new yearly tradition.

Went in for dinner this weekend and the food was Mid, the service wasn’t great it took forever to get our food and the server forgot our apps! We got just a quahog and chowder so it wasn’t anything crazy to remember. The place was busy with an event or dinner of some sort and We had great service at the bar last summer with one of the bartenders which we didn’t see her there this weekend or else we would have just sat at the bar instead. I was surprised because we have eaten here last summer pretty often the food use to be sooo good and we’re too busy this year till now. Next time we will just eat at the bar and hopefully get the same person as last time she was amazing and so efficient I can’t remember her name but she said she had been there for a while.

Went here with my bachelorette party of 6 for a walk in breakfast on a Saturday morning. Had a 30-40 min wait . Not bad for a decent size party walk in! They have a beautiful deck where you're allowed to have your coffee while you wait for your table inside. The deck made the wait very enjoyable. But this review is truly about the food and our wonderful server, Meg. Immediately, i thought this woman is so sweet and genuine, had the prettiest and kindest smile, offered to take a group picture for us and got all of our orders correct. The food was phenomenal! You have to get the grilled specialty breads! Holy hell! A huge texas toast size piece of delicious sweet bread. I also go the corned beef hash eggs Benedict. Listen, i get this corned beef hash every time i go out for breakfast and this one was by far one of the best i’ve ever had! They know it too because it is featured on their menu. All in all, it was such a delightful experience at this quaint place.

Experience the flavors of Tuscany at Pecorino Romano, a cozy Italian restaurant that offers a menu inspired by Tuscan cuisine. Indulge in homemade pasta and seafood dishes while sipping on fantastic Italian wine. While some diners have noted minor concerns about cleanliness and service, others have praised the exceptional food and attentive staff. From classic dishes like Veal Milanese to more adventurous options like lobster risotto, there's something for every palate.
We are frequent diners to Pecorino Romano..and we are VIP members also..We dined last night with another couple and the food was amazing…rack of lamb…shrimp fra diavolo to mention 2 …however our waiter was a bit abrupt and firm with us..We all ordered drinks and when they came he asked if we all were ready to order..we had literally just sat down so we requested a bit more time…upon his staunch remark was we only had 90 minutes in that booth and walked away!! We were stunned at the thought that we would “ tie” up our seatings all night!! He was not friendly and we felt almost unwelcome..

Don’t waste your $$! Food was bland. Oysters were horrible- sandy and a strange texture. Got the pasta fagiole soup, there may have been 2 beans in it with a few strands of pasta! Tastes like tomato soup from a can! Had pasta bolognese which tastes like ground beef over pasta. Flavorless. The wine was good, that’s about it. Service was underwhelming. Will not be going back.

Our server was the best part of this experience. So sweet and an accommodating. There were two cockroaches at our table that scurried up the blinds directly next to me. We notified the staff and they did nothing about it. We then proceeded having to pay for our $277 tab, before tip. Yikes. So disappointing and not worth it. The food was very bland.

My wife and I, along with another couple, went here for dinner. The parking was not ideal. There were no signs to help you figure out if the options next to what appeared to be their own small lot were ok to use. The food was good but IMHO overpriced. Last, in my entire life I've never been told by a waiter or waitress that there's a time limit on a table (90 minutes) which our waiter did. The 4 of us were catching up, and all restaurants tell us to take our time as we are slow to review the menu. The waiter then gave us our bill without offering the dessert menu, and told us on 2 separate occasions when we were deciding on dessert that he was tending to another party so basically implying we needed to hurry up and decide. Needless to say we won't be going back.
Mike R — Google review
We left the waitress a 17 percent tip. She was unhappy with this and demanded a higher gratuity at our table. When I brought this up to mgt they said the standard tip was 20 percent. I always thought tipping was based on services rendered. We won’t be back and most of my friends in Dennis avoid this place.

We walked into the restaurant and weren’t greeted by anyone, despite only two tables being occupied. We ended up almost seating ourselves. Right away, the heat and humidity inside were uncomfortable. No AC or ventilation made it tough to enjoy the meal. We ordered coffee, but it took over 25 minutes for anyone to offer a refill, and that only happened because we had to stop our waitress ourselves. The food itself was decent, but one major downside: this might be the only restaurant on Cape Cod that doesn’t serve home fries with their omelets unless you pay extra which feels a bit stingy considering the prices are on par with most places with them being included Overall, a disappointing experience comfort- and service-wise, even if the food was pretty good
Swivel — Google review
Awesome breakfast spot! The menu is simple- eggs, omelettes, sausages, and other classics, but the way everything is cooked makes it incredibly tasty. From the outside, it looks like a modest Cape Cod shack, but inside there’s plenty of space, plus outdoor seating for nice mornings. Lots of parking available, so no hassle getting in. They open at 7am, and by 8am it’s still pretty quiet, which is great if you want a relaxed start to the day. Food comes out fast, portions are generous, and it keeps you full until lunch. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and want a hearty, satisfying breakfast!

Excellent hearty breakfast! Whoever does the home fries here, knows what they’re doing. Most places, the home fries have no flavor whatsoever, here the home fries are excellent. I hate to give bad reviews, but this was genuinely the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life - no questions asked. It was so floppy and undercooked that it was genuinely a chore to try and consume. Not only for the bad flavor, but for the difficult experience of trying to eat it without a fork and knife. We had them stick it back in the oven and it was still awful. Not to mention is was so greasy that it left a giant puddle of grease on the picnic table that went straight through the pizza box. This was all after hearing joeys was the best pizza on cape. Great location! Have enjoyed it in the past, but probably won’t be back. We were surprised to see it pretty empty at 6:15 on a Saturday. Wait for outdoor seating, which was fine so we sat as the only table in the dining room. waitress came to take our order, got our “cocktails” but not our waters. I don’t expect a ton of liquor in a frozen drink, but my bf’s strawberry margarita was more like a glass of cranberry juice- no rim, no lime even. ordered food, I asked if I could sub bacon on top potato skins for the steak chili and they said yes, but $3.50 for bacon. when the food comes out- the $15 potato skins were one potato lol. waitress never came to check on the food, even though the restaurant was empty. came around to grab the stacked plates, said “let me get those out of the way”, again without asking about the food, asking if we need anything else, or offering the check. $85 for two apps, two drinks and a chicken Alfredo I’ve had better service when they were slammed, food and drinks absolutely not worth your cash

Rudest bartender I’ve ever experienced on the Cape. Went to order my first drink from the bald man with the goatee and asked 1 question: What the last 2 taps of beer were. His response? “I don’t have time for this.” Super rude and only got worse to others too through the night. (PS. I’ve bartended for years and would never treat a customer inquiring this way.) Good luck to anyone going here who wants anything other than a Bud Lite.

The fish and chips platter was good. We also had the triangle cheese appetizer. After kayaking it's a convenient restaurant to stop in at.

Bartender was amazing! It’s right across from our hotel. We had a blast chilling and hanging out during our fishing trip. If you are close by, swing by here. We will eat here next year. Want to see how good is their food.

Loved the band playing on Thursday, waitress was great but the place is a joke. Bartenders are not friendly, abd for some unknown reason, we couldn't sit where we could see the band good. Tables had fake drinks and reserved signs on them only for NO ONE to sit there all night. This is the second time this has been done to us, even though we are good paying customers. Bill was over$160.

Decided to have dinner here with my family and when we walked in we were welcomed by an amazing hostess. I think her name was Colby, she was super sweet and made us feel very welcome. It was very busy but she still showed us attention and got us to our table quickly. She never made us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. We had a waitress by the name of Ella who was an extremely nice girl who was just perfect. She made sure she got all of our orders right and made us feel like top priority in the restaurant while having other customers to tend to. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, but more than that, she made us feel like we weren’t just customers, but guests in her home. Would one hundred percent come back here just because of those two girls. They made it a good experience.

The woman who owns this place needs to get a personality. One of my dearest friends son is in a wonderful band who played there last night. They are college students and many of their friends came to see them as they always do. Some kids were turned away for not being 21 which is understandable but at other venues they have been allowed to watch just not drink. Although they left without incident the owner was rude to my friend and even called her outside! She was not personable all night and yelled at the band members as well! I have never in my life not left a tip. Last night was a first. I will make sure to tell everyone to avoid this place! 0 stars

Chapin's Fish & Chips and Beach Bar is a lively spot located near the serene Chapin Beach on Cape Cod Bay. While not directly on the beach, it offers a vibrant outdoor patio with a bar where visitors can savor classic seafood dishes like fish and chips or lobster rolls. The establishment also serves burgers, sandwiches, and other pub fare to cater to diverse tastes. Additionally, guests can enjoy live music and refreshing cocktails at this inviting venue.
Everything was delicious!! We waited a long time to get a table (almost 2 hours) but we could get some drinks before to eat. The atmosphere was nice indoors and outdoors. Excellent music and bands! (Just too loud inside so nobody can talk). But they have the best seafood. Different choices of sides and fresh and healthy too (broiled cod yummy!!!) and the prices are good!!

Chapin’s Fish and Chips is a solid go-to for classic Cape fare with a family-friendly vibe. The food was good across the board, and the service was attentive and welcoming from start to finish. The quahog was a real standout—flavorful and perfectly cooked. The peanut butter mudslide is the best!!! We tried the special sampler, which included a creamy chowder, fresh shrimp cocktail, and a deliciously stuffed quahog—definitely a great way to try a little bit of everything. The kids’ chicken fingers were a hit too, with generous portion sizes. We also had a wedge salad and truffle fries, which were decent, though nothing to write home about. The outdoor seating area is lively, fun, and perfect for families. It’s clearly a popular spot, so we’ll be sure to plan ahead next time to enjoy that atmosphere. All in all, a great Cape Cod stop with classic seafood and unbeatable summer vibes.

Waited 50 min for order at 2pm on a Tuesday. Not busy only 5 other tables. Tons of waitstaff. Food was gross. Soda and seltzer water flat. Paid $39 for a hot lobster roll which looks like they deep fried it as the lobster meat was actually hard in places and there was orange grease all over the roll… think greasy pizza. Never again.

USED to be a favorite place to get a tasty meal & refreshing cocktail. What happened? Food is disgusting. Out doors used to be attractive- dead plants , filthy floors. Waited 40 minutes for food to then be told the order was forgotten. 5 minutes later stone cold fish tacos with soggy cold French fries. 2 Valets were standing like gate guards to park our car when there was only 8 cars in the whole place. Looking for the tip. We easily could have parked ourselves or they could have directed us. Restaurant comped the cold food, had to still tip the waitress as it wasn’t her fault. So went away hungry, paid food bill for friend who had an equally disgusting meal, had to tip a valet and a waitress for nothing. Food was disgusting. Tried to call & their phone system doesn’t work. No email options. Feel badly posting a bad review but it’s expensive to eat out. Go somewhere else!
Cate R — Google review
Even though I did enjoy my salad, and the service was decent. If you have a shellfish or fish allergy, you might want to think twice about coming here. Since at the time of writing they only have one facilitator, and they fry everything in that. They were nice and let me know, but that limit the options down to grill chicken, steak, salad, and possible the burgers. Anything that is fired is off the table.

Came here with family, absolutely amazing and attentive service, great food (generous portions), a bit on the pricey side for a large family, but worth it for the delicious food. Atmosphere was a bit loud, but overall inviting and welcoming. Amazing overall, would recommend every day of the week.
Freakbob — Google review
Food was decent though one dish our party ordered had to be redone it was cooked so poorly but even after doing it better, it was still bad the second time. Credit to them that they took it off the bill so no real complaint. Overall service was great. Atmosphere was nice with live music and plenty of options for seating. However, parking lot is way too small for the place some that part can be a nightmare.

Came here with my husband. Food was very good, but we had some issues with service. She grabbed my wine before it was finished, our dinner entrees came out 2 minutes after our apps were placed down, and they forgot one of my husband's drinks. Atmosphere was great, but just not the best service.

The Sailing Cow is a restaurant in Nantucket Sound with stunning views of Glendon Road Beach. It offers Southern-style cuisine and is an ideal lunch spot for beachgoers. The menu features daily specials such as chicken wings, oysters, margaritas, and draft beer. Notably, they serve steamers by the pound and delicious lobster rolls that can be enjoyed hot or cold. Additionally, The Sailing Cow has a great happy hour deal with $4.
We are visiting Cape cod for the first time and we’re looking for a nice spot for dinner. We wanted a smaller place with a simple menu. This place was perfect, we were greeted with a smile and the service was fantastic. We started with fried pickles and a stuffed quahog. Both were good. I had the lobster pie and my husband had the fried clam dinner. We liked both. Will definitely return before vacation is over. Love that they have breakfast as well! They also offer outdoor seating but it was way too windy to sit outside tonight. Seats were fat girl friendly too!

One of the best breakfast, lunch and dinner spots on Cape Cod. Right across from Glendon Beach. An awesome Tiki Bar and Patio seating with shade looking over Nantucket Sound. Nothing but Great vibes with awesome music along with an incredibly friendly staff that returns year after year makes this seasonal spot a true gem down here on the cape.

If its good enough for Willie Nelson, its good enough for anyone!! The Sailing Cow is a great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, you name it. The menu is simple but delicious, with great staff and a beautiful view of the Nantucket sound. They offer the staples for breakfast (ask about the Cowabunga challenge) and lunch, but I have yet to go for dinner. They also offer lots of drink and nightly specials, and host music events during the summer as well. They are open for Cape Cod summer (I think May til October, but are bumping it out if there is demand) and is a must stop. If you've stayed this long, I mentioned Willie because there is a pic of him in the resturaunt. I bet he really lit that place up when he was there, if ya know what I mean!

Very cute place across from the beach open for B/L/D. I went for lunch and sat on the beautiful outside deck. It was busy and service was a little slow. My sandwich took forever and very underwhelmed when it finally came. The waiter said there were new folks in the kitchen. She did her best to remedy it, and I appreciated her effort. Very cozy inside and I might retry it with friends and order other items. The prices were pretty reasonable, given their location.

What a great breakfast choice for visitors! The food is good. Service great and whole vibe of the place was great. They had to roll the shade back because the wind was too strong so we had to sit in full sun on the deck.

"The Wooden Shoe" is a cozy local pub on the Cape known for its regional specialties like lobster rolls, steamers, and clam chowder. The place has a homey atmosphere and generous portions of food. Visitors praise the giant lobster roll filled with ample lobster meat and the delicious crab cakes that are not your typical ones. The restaurant has a dive bar vibe but offers some of the best New England clam chowder and lobster rolls in the area.
If they are not known for their bloody marry's then they should be. I believe the owner (female) made it for me. Enter it into a competition. Pricey place but it is the cape so I expected it. I'd say average for the area. Pretty generous portions of foo, we ordered crab cakes, steamers and a giant lobster roll. The giant lobster roll was just a basic new england hot dog roll overly, over filled with lobster meat, but it was delicious. The crab cakes aren't your typical crab cakes. Maybe baked In a muffin top pan, but they are good. They had a good ratio of crab to mixture, not gene9but good amount. The steamers were little necks, also good, served with butter and Broth. It was recommended by some locals....

We came here for early dinner on a weekend and didn’t need a reservation. We ordered a lobster broil, clam chowder and a salad. Food was OK. Lobster was just the right size but tasted a little chewy. The clams were good and it comes with a corn on a cob. Chowder was very thick and creamy so hard to appreciate the clams. Service was very good. We were seated immediately we got all the dishes that we ordered. It was just a little on the pricey side. Overall though the food, service and restaurant was good.

Espresso martini and a pile of lobster off the mountain of lobster meat from my son’s “giant lobster roll”(yes, it’s an item on the menu!). A tiny hole-in-the-wall local pub but super fresh food.

This is our favorite place down the Cape. Great owner who works super hard taking care of the customers. The seafood is always really fresh. I highly recommend the steamahs and stuffed quahogs

We came here for takeout lobster rolls after a recommendation from a local restaurant owner. Service was quick and friendly. This was some of the best lobster I’ve eaten - sweet and juicy and not at all chewy. I also really like that the meat is only mixed with a bit of mayo and seasoned. No celery - win!

If you're ever in Dennis Port, make sure to stop by the Dennisport House of Pizza, a beloved local establishment that has been delighting taste buds for over 30 years. This family-friendly spot is known for its delicious pizza and subs, along with a selection of beer and wine. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, reminiscent of classic Greek-style pizzerias from the past.
There used to be a lot of places like this when I was growing up, real Greek style pizza and great subs. The crispy crust and the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Brought me back to the 70s. When these places were everywhere. Now, dennis port house of pizza is a rarity, and it's great! I like my pizza. We're just cheese and sauce. You can truly tell if you have no toppings, how good the pizza is? I also had a cheeseburger sub on the side that was excellent as well. And I'm a fussy person. It was a real tasty cheeseburger. I also. Eat that with cheese only so I can really taste the burger, not the toppings. And that was excellent as well. It cost me twenty five dollars to feed two people. Which is good these days.

Only gave 3 stars for atmosphere because I did a pickup. Whole experience was a disaster to put it lightly. The woman who answered the phone struggled to take the order and was talking to someone else mid order. I did ask for her to confirm the order which was repeated back correctly. I called in a grilled chicken salad, Italian grinder, linguiça grinder, cheese pizza and I tried to order a grilled buffalo chicken salad however was told they could not toss grilled chicken in buffalo sauce. I ordered another grilled chicken salad with a side of buffalo sauce. I ended up with fried buffalo chicken on my salad with the side of buffalo sauce. The pizza was greasy, and the crust was so hard I am surprised my son did not lose all his front teeth. The linguiça grinder did not have links but slices and the whole sub had 6 quarter size slices with some peppers and onions, the sub was not even filled halfway. The Italian only contained ham and was ordered with lettuce tomato onion pickles and contained very little substance. I tried to call in with my issues but after 5 attempts and a busy signal I resorted to a google review. $60 down the drain, I am fortunate we had steak tips in the fridge to grill because no one was satisfied tonight.

Just not that great. I wish I knew before ordering that the Large pie that it was more like a Medium pie at every other Pizza Shop in the world. I should have figured that for $13 bucks! My guess is they get pizza shells from their food provider, as that’s what the crust tasted like. It fell apart like wet par baked cardboard. I also ordered a sandwich and it was missing all the toppings that were listed for the sandwich. I got Meat only- I guess unless you ask for the lettuce and tomato that is listed, you don’t get it. It was decent but could have been better with toppings… They definitely have more convenient parking than the rest of the Dennisport Pizza Shops, but sad to say I probably will not be returning customer.

Last week, we visited Dennis Port, MA and ordered a take-out pizza from Dennisport House of Pizza at the end of a long trip. When placing the order, the young lady on the phone told me how I could have the same pizza ingredients for less by changing my order. My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed the meal and commented to one another often about the great quality of the ingredients and taste. One of the best pies I have ever eaten (and I have eaten a lot of them). Only later did I realized I had made a mistake in my math when calculating the tip, but I figured it was too late to worry about it. When my charges appeared on my credit card, apparently Dennisport House of Pizza had caught my mistake and only charged me for the correct amount. They easily could have taken advantage of my mistake but went out of the way to quietly demonstrate their genuine integrity and kindness. Integrity, kindness, and generosity make the very best pizza even better here! Thank you Dennisport House of Pizza for being awesome!

Food was Aweful! The cheesesteak sandwich was Aweful! The sausage on the pizza looked like cut up Bratwurst. No taste. Would Not Recommend. Nobody checked in on us after food was Delivered. The Cooks and Girl were all cutting up in the back with not a care in the world.

I've been going here for 10 plus years, and not a whole lot has changed, honestly. A pretty quick paced, very friendly small pizza joint. I've always gotten pizza from here and slowly shifted to subs. The subs have definitely gotten smaller over the years which is a big downfall for me because they're phenomenal obviously they have to raise prices to match the economy but the sizes shouldn't be going down otherwise I'd change my review.
Swivel — Google review
Although it was tasty, it was easy to see they are primarily a take-out restaurant. We ate in and the service was mediocre. Not bad but definitely not worthy of high ratings.

Good sandwiches with reasonable prices and portions. Grabbed take out, it took a while to prepare and they put the sandwiches in containers rather than wraps so they didn't stay together well. Some of the balance was off with too much cheese or lettuce but overall we're good for lunch.

edit: No, this is not a fake account. The stuff you sold was so bad that I decided to write my first review ever! As proof that I actually ate there, I’ve attached a photo of the pizza I received – though honestly, it looks much better in the picture than it tasted. Unfortunately, this was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. My partner and I shared one, but we couldn’t even finish it because every single part of it was inedible – from the dough to the so-called “tomato sauce,” the cheese, and the meat. Simply disgusting. Someone else wrote that they wouldn’t even give it to their dog, and I have to agree. No one deserves to be served food this bad. Please, do yourself a favor and go to a different restaurant – this one is absolutely not recommended. If I could, I‘d give 0 stars.

I visited this Brazilian pizza spot hoping for a good experience, but unfortunately, it was overshadowed by the staff’s behavior. While I was there, some of the Brazilian employees were talking about me in Portuguese assuming I wouldn’t understand. It was about my tip—unprofessional and honestly uncomfortable. I go out to enjoy a meal, not to feel judged by the people serving me. The pizza itself was decent, but it’s hard to enjoy your food when you feel disrespected. I hope management addresses this, because no customer should feel singled out or gossiped about during their dining experience.
