This is a weird wonderful place. We discovered sort of accidentally last year, and returned this year. My wife is already planning our return again. We love it.
Nice, clean and enjoyable enviroment. Enjoyed very much the warm water swimming pool and jacuzzi observing fantastic view of snowy mountains in front. Isnt that cool?
Lunch time went to the restaurant inside which is also accessible to people from tge street. So, I felt quite awkward sitting there with wet hair wearing wardrobe while others were dressed usual.

But looks like too small areas and no control for how many people can stay at a time - we were not in high season but all places were more than full. Hard to even find a spot to chill. Only adults area is even smaller so too crowded, area for everybody full with children and grown ups, i mean full - no edge of the pools was free to chill.
Overal it is nice and very basic, but compaired to other places - little bit disapointing :)
The pools are not warm enough to give the relaxing feeling a termal bath should, and the sauna is no different, more like the hot relaxing room you chill in between having a proper sauna session.
The staff are running around and micromanaging everyone, in a rude way reminding of all the rules has to be obeyed at all times. Its not a welcome feeling. And considering the 50euro we payed it feelt like a robbery, considering how little you actually get.
Amazing and unforgettable, strongly recommended. There are several different pools with warm water, each one with different panoramic views in different floors. There are a lot of facilities for the families and their children to enjoy even for the whole day. In addition to that, there are also many different water message categories and trying all of them is really something. There is a semi Olympics pool for those who may feel the need of a bit more professional expectations. Last but not least, the covid measures are controlled and you have to have a green pass to enter.
In the spa, there is only one finish sauna and one steam. A relaxation zone is put together with a playground for a children. There is an obligation to wear a cap. There is no pool with really thermal water.

Ristorante Vecchia Combo is a cozy spot that offers a warm Alpine ski look and serves up delicious Pizzoccheri pasta, meat stews, polenta, and local wines. The restaurant has been in business for over 50 years and is a favorite among both tourists and locals in Bormio.
What can I say about this traditional family restaurant? The most delicious food we’ve ever had in Bormio, Valtellina. 💯👌🥰🤤 Definitely the best restaurant in town!
My husband and I went for lunch and ordered some Taroz for antipasto (made with potatoes, green beans, lots of cheese and butter) and some Pizzocheri - primo piatto (both generous portions). The Taroz was delicious and the Pizzocheri was divine!
The overall experience: food, service, atmosphere and location is excellent, 100% recommended.
This restaurant is usually open for lunch and dinner, but since it’s a bit far from downtown, I would recommend to call and make a reservation. Do not hesitate to check it out!
They have a tasting menu starting at 30 euros. We spent 47€ (antipasto, two Pizzocheri, a liter of house wine, water and two espresso coffee) 😲😊 Undoubtedly, a fantastic Valtellinese experience!

Very big civil museum with 3 floors, took about 15 years to complete and it has very interesting contents to see. Absolutely worth it to visit, the old carriages were very interesting and the old ski equipments. Would even visit again to pass the time because I've enjoyed the vintage vibe so much

Disposto su tre piani di un antico palazzo, questo museo vi darà la possibilità di vedere vecchi attrezzi agricoli, macchinari per la lavorazione del legno, carrozze trainate da cavalli, utensili da cucina, paia di sci in legno, abiti tipici locali ecc.

Bormio Ski is a popular winter sports resort located in Bormio, Italy. The resort offers a wide range of activities including mixed-level runs, off-piste skiing, a snow park, and night skiing opportunities. With slopes stretching from the town to over three thousand meters above sea level and an altitude difference of 1800 meters, Bormio Ski provides fun and routes for skiers of all levels.
You first get a pass and it gives you entry to all the lifts which is very useful. The food was good and the skis were in good condition .The bet time to go is early in the morning before the crowds so you can get your skis sorted and not loose time on the slopes! The instructors were very friendly and it was A ONE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE!!!! highly recommended!!

A great ski resort suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. There are many different routes to take, with well-marked and groomed slopes. In good weather, the mountain views are stunning – the kind you immediately want to share with someone. There are plenty of bars and rest stops along the way, perfect for a bombardino or aperol break while watching others tackle the slopes. Some sections are really great, especially the faster ones with panoramic views. :)

I am only a beginner but felt like there was enough for me to feel comfortable on. Lift.stafd were friendly and the mountain itself seems to provide a good range for people. All in all a great afternoon on the mountain 🙂

Words can’t describe how grateful I am for stumbling upon Paolo’s and Sara’s bike shop! My only day to ride the famous Stelvio Pass started of a bit negative with a bike hire place in Lake Como. I booked and paid a deposit with them months ago, confirmed the day before, to then be told on the day no one is there to give me the bike! Annoyed, I was now a bit late making our way to Bormio. We desperately started searching for bike hire places in Bormio on the phone. The thing was, now we would arrive around lunchtime and you quickly learn in Italy that most shops close for lunch for several hours then reopen in the afternoon. We eventually got in touch with Sara, and she very was welcoming and empathetic to my situation. She organised for Paolo to open up during his lunchtime, which I felt terrible about but his was so hospitable and easy going that hiring a bike from him was a pleasure.
In terms of service and wish I could give them 10 stars!
In terms of the bike hire, we did a quick setup, Paolo fitted my pedals I brought with from Australia. The bike functioned perfectly and I was impressed I was able to hire a carbon fibre road bike, with disc brakes and electronic 12 speed shifting. For those asking, it was a full Sram Force AXS eTap 12 speed group-set so almost the best of the best in the Sram line up.
Highly recommend this shop and the next time I go back to Bormio I’ll definitely be hiring another bike from Spot-On bike shop. I’ll need to stay longer in Bormio instead of attempting Stelvio and other climbs in one day, but that’s all the time I had there.
P.S The Stelvio Pass is the most stunning and breathtaking climbs I’ve ever done, a must do if your a cycling nutcase!

A big thanks to Paolo and Sara,s, Without this shop i would not have been able to ride Granfondo Stelvio Santini 2022, They so looked after me for my trip to Bormio so friendly and so helpfull as i was on my own. I was able to use shop as my base these people are the reason i would go back there again and again.
Paulo in the service department was exceptional. I came in with an OG 5 bolt chainring set up looking for 50/34t rings to swap out my 52/36 oval rings. Last shop that we checked in Bormio that had the necessary parts. Paulo was able to help that day too which I was super happy with. Picked up the bike at end of day and everything worked very well. Thank you Paulo! And he didn’t even make fun of me for my mish mash set-up on my Shimpagnolo drivetrain 😉😉
In all seriousness, I recommend Paulo and this shop very highly. Will be back!

I had mechanical problems with my new Canyon Roadbike, two other services in Bormio couldn’t have helped me, but they recommended me the Spot-on Shop. The owner of the shop Paolo came extra early on Sunday to help us. After trying all tricks the bike could not get repaired unfortunately, but he immediately offered me one of the super nice rental bikes from the brand Hersh. He saved our bike holiday. The Hersh bike was very nice to ride, the electric shifting and suitable gears are perfect for climbing the passes around Bormio. I can only agree with the good references below and warmly recommend the Spot on Shop.
