Restaurant
Ristorante Vecchia Combo is a cozy spot that offers a warm Alpine ski look and serves up delicious Pizzoccheri pasta, meat stews, polenta, and local wines. The restaurant has been in business for over 50 years and is a favorite among both tourists and locals in Bormio.
What can I say about this traditional family restaurant? The most delicious food we’ve ever had in Bormio, Valtellina. 💯👌🥰🤤 Definitely the best restaurant in town! My husband and I went for lunch and ordered some Taroz for antipasto (made with potatoes, green beans, lots of cheese and butter) and some Pizzocheri - primo piatto (both generous portions). The Taroz was delicious and the Pizzocheri was divine! The overall experience: food, service, atmosphere and location is excellent, 100% recommended. This restaurant is usually open for lunch and dinner, but since it’s a bit far from downtown, I would recommend to call and make a reservation. Do not hesitate to check it out! They have a tasting menu starting at 30 euros. We spent 47€ (antipasto, two Pizzocheri, a liter of house wine, water and two espresso coffee) 😲😊 Undoubtedly, a fantastic Valtellinese experience!

Very good restaurant with authentic tasty regional food. The team is very friendly. Service is quick. You have to try the Pizzocheri. It’s to die for..

Pros. - most of the food is tasty, and the staff is nice and smiling. Cons. - Flies was eating with us, many of them, they are brave entering to the plates. The last pork dish is not tasty - at all. There is no normal English menu. They compensate us with 2 more free desserts, was okay. It was nice local food experiences, but we will not return here, sorry.

The place is beautiful and service is good. The food was fine but not wow. It is important to order a table ahead of time as it gets busy.

We had an amazing and locally authentic dinner here based on a recommendation from a local resident. Exceptional - and highly recommended.

This was a delicious and special meal we stopped for while driving through the mountains. It has a homey feel and is set in the cutest village. Their pizzacheri was delicious, but I think my favorite was the mushrooms and polenta. SO GOOD.

Italian restaurant
Osteria la Bajona is a restaurant located in the clock tower's square, offering professional service and quality cuisine. Visitors have praised the vegetarian lasagna and recommended dishes like pasta al ragu di cervo and carpaccio di gamberi. The menu features gluten-free options designed to delight with simple yet delicious ingredients. While some found the flavors lacking, others appreciated the genuine taste of ingredients and elegant presentation of plates.
After a heavy ride we were tired, and hungry so they kindly let us in just before opening. The food was gorgeous and very well presented. The "cold cuts" were great and caused some friendly debate about what was being shared 🤣. I then had the Risotto with sweatbreads which was lovely. Service was friendly and accommodating. It wasn't the liveliest place I've eaten but we were very early.

Top notch experience in Bormio. This place feels like you are at home, kind staff, family atmosphere and of course lovely food. We will 100% come back. All the best!

This place was an amazing find on my trip to Bormio! The food was the best we’ve ever had. The food was really delicious!! Definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Love that it was in the city center and close to my hotel.

Osteria la Bajona is located in the city center of Bormio. we had a wonderful night from every point of view, the food is delicious, staff is really nice and friendly, and also the atmosphere applies perfectly to the location. this osteria is highly recommended, especially the sciatt and the maialino cooked at low temperature.

Very nice typical local food with a modern touch. In the main square is the coziest environment. Don't miss it! A must go in Bormio
Sara L — Google review
Beautiful dishes and wonderful friendly service. Great local wines and very reasonably priced for the quality.
Nick B — Google review
Interesting place, very helpful stuff, interesting dishes, but as for me- lack of flavor in every dish. Well cooked food, beautifully served, for my taste Not salty, not spicy, tasty , but not wow. Not planning to be back.
Elena C — Google review
Very good service and great food. We started with the carpaccio of shrimp, then the typical pasta from the region and another pasta with cervo di ragu, then the lamb with lentils. And we finish with the chocolate sphere and coffee. All of that plus wine and coffee we paid 108 euros in two. I think the price was fair for the quantity and quality of food. I super recommend the pasta al ragu di cervo and the carpaccio di gamberi ! ( the pics I'll post is half portion because we divided everything in 2)

Nestled in a charming former sawmill, Ristorante tipico valtellinese La Rasiga Bormio is a delightful culinary gem managed with love by the Colturi family. This inviting eatery is renowned for its authentic Valtellinese cuisine, featuring hearty dishes that celebrate local flavors. Diners can indulge in specialties like pizzoccheri—delicious buckwheat pasta—and sciatt, which are crispy fritters filled with cheese.
Fantastic local food in a beautiful, rustic setting. We got the course meal for €35 a person, and it was more than enough food! Each course was delicious. Highly recommend getting there a few minutes before opening or making a reservation if going during high season/the weekend.

Place is very nice and has its own antique style inside. Staffs are quite nice and gentle. Many traditional wine inside. Furniture well cared. When it comes for food it was fantastico and really very delicious I ate their food tradition and it was fantastic specially the Sciatt I highly recommended. When it comes for price it’s right for what we eaten it’s bit pricey but worth it

Nestled in the charming town of Bormio, Al Filò is a culinary gem that transports you back to the 1600s with its stunning vaulted cellar adorned with exposed bricks. This restaurant beautifully embodies northern Italian cuisine, offering a diverse menu filled with traditional dishes featuring local ingredients like pork, rabbit, and deer meat. The warm and inviting atmosphere enhances your dining experience as you savor seasonal delights—during my visit in February, pumpkin and artichoke were highlights on the menu.
Delicious food, professional service and cosy atmosphere of the local. Best lamb I’ve ever had! Deserts were served with the finest touch. Everything was beautifully and appetizingly looking. This food spot cannot be omitted when in Bormio.

Al Filò's atmosphere matches the sophisticated food. The dishes are refined but not pretentious. I was grateful to get a seat and was accomdated last minute, so please reserve ahead of time, you won't regret it. My server, Andrea, was engaged with his guests and had a warm demeanor, and was knowledgeable about the food. He recommended the dishes I ordered, and it was superb.

The Steak House Bormio, located on the central Via Roma, offers a unique dining experience above its celebrated cellars where visitors can witness the preparation and aging of the famous bitter. Guided tours by Edoardo Tarantola Peloni, a descendant of the family that holds the secret formula, provide insight into this tradition. The menu boasts a variety of dishes including pork ribs with signature sauce and delightful vino brule.
Came here on a cycling tour on my own. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and made me feel very comfortable. The food was delicious, so I came back again the following day!

We reserved tables here at for 9:30 pm and they told us that the kitchen will close at 10 so we asked if they still serving and they said yes. When we arrived the waiter was in a rush they give us the menu and he came back to us and I say I’m not ready yet so he became more rude. So at the end I choose what I saw only. As you can see they have a show kitchen so after we order we saw that they preparing it too fast. When the food is ready the waiter gives us rapidly showing us that we need to move and eat fast. I didn’t liked the attitude even you don say anything but it sees on your motion. We called first and you said yes that you can wait us but suddenly the behaviour is not appropriate as you said. Food was quite nice. Place was huge and modern design.
A C — Google review
Visited 2 times in week. Food was delicious, tried Pizzoccheri, Ribs, risotto and dessert. Loved it, lady who served us was kind, guys in the kitchen were smiling...this part was fine. But the reason I put only 4 of 5 is your "manager" or cashier or who it was. First what we have seen after we came in was his upset/sad/tired mood. Second red flag - he started to serve food (IDK why) but in way that he did not put the plate on the table but to customer's hand. 3rd one, during the payment no interest if it was ok or not, nothing. Nice restaurant but your "manager" should think about his behaviour or find a different job. Thank you.
Lukáš Ď — Google review
Fantastic dining experience! 🥩 Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and perfectly cooked meat — juicy, flavorful, and top quality. The menu offers great variety, from classic steaks to local specialties, all beautifully presented. Prices are fair for the quality, and the service is fast and attentive. A must-visit for meat lovers visiting Bormio! 🍷🔥
Sandi A — Google review
I had an excellent fillet steak, and my partners sirloin steak was average. Grilled vegetables and salad were delicious, beer was nice and cold. Served quickly and food arrived in a timely manner. Prices not exorbitant. However, despite the vast number of staff on the floor and only two other diners besides us, we were left with empty beer glasses and not approached by any staff member. We were not offered a dessert menu, but I was asked how the meal was as we were leaving. In summary, too many staff with nothing to do...so they do nothing.
Cindy M — Google review
We had a great time at The Steak House in Bormio. The staff was welcoming, the service was super fast, and the food was delicious. Super tender beer-glazed pork shank with polenta on the side was tasty. We found Tartar to be just okay, a bit bland in our opinion. Bombardino was exceptional. Overall would certainly recommend this place.
Viktorie B — Google review
Everything was perfect and I have nothing to complain about. The food, the service and the atmosphere. Everything was great. Most of all, I would like to highlight the dessert: Tiramisu (pictured). I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to eat well in Bormio.

Ristorante Gavioli is a superb eatery, offering outstanding cuisine and an impressive selection of wines. Their menu features delectable dishes such as polenta with foie gras for the first course, tortellini with seafood for appetizers, and deer with myrtilles and pollenta as the main course. The Plozza millesimato sparkling wine perfectly complements the meal, followed by two glasses of excellent red wine recommended by the owner.
Very nice restaurant with excellent food and wine! We had polenta with foie gras as primi piatti, as antipasti tortellini with seafood and as secondi piatti deer with myrtilles and pollenta. As wine, Plozza millesimato sparkling wine and then 2 glasses excellent red wine proposed by the owner! Top wine for reasonable price, also from Plozza. plozza is a wine house in Tirano, with limited availability, really fine excellent. Their wine advise and cellar is top! They served excellent, really top warm bread (multicereali, not dry) with whipped fresh butter. Delicious!! When we paid we were offered very fine local digestivo! A place and evening to remember!

Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere! All of the starters we tried were absolutely divine, and from the mains I especially loved the octopus — so much so that I ordered it two nights in a row. Every small detail is thoughtfully taken care of, creating a truly welcoming experience. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely sweet. Overall, a fantastic dining experience — highly recommended!

Nestled in the heart of Bormio, Bistrot Pizzeria Umami is a culinary gem that takes pizza to an art form. Chef Antonio Borruso meticulously crafts each dough, ensuring it reaches perfection before being topped with only the finest ingredients. A must-try is their signature Umami pizza, featuring a delightful blend of fiordilatte cheese, goat's milk gorgonzola, carne salada, chanterelles, and raspberries—a true explosion of flavors!
Amazing pizza, authentic. Only reason for 4 stars on atmosphere is because we went at 12:00 on a Monday, am sure it will be great later. Did I say the pizza was amazing?

Very good service & delicious pizza! Lovely to sit on the terrace with lovely view on the mountain and there’s a great choice of desserts. I’d recommend parking at the Terme just in the opposite of the restaurant.
K C — Google review
Probably the best pizzeria in Bormio, taste of ingredients on this crunchy dough is another level. Atmosphere in pizzeria is also very good, restaurant is cosy and pleasant to stay. I have got pizza after 5 minutes.
Maciek R — Google review
The service was not rude but joyless - we arrived for lunch and were told ‘only pizzas today’. The crust of the pizza was very tasty and fragrant but the pizzas themselves were salty and toppings lacked flavour. However the place was clean and seats were comfortable and it is conveniently located.
Jessica L — Google review
The pizza was tasty, but the service was very unfriendly and arogant. We visited this pizzeria for the second time in about two years, and both times there were issues with the staff. Maybe they’re only like this with tourists — I don’t know — but based on other reviews, it seems that more customers have had problems with the unfriendly and unprofessional service. Unfortunately, it ruins the whole experience and makes it hard to enjoy the good pizza. Once again, we were convinced that it’s better to go somewhere else than to come here and have the food and the evening completely spoiled.
Aneta K — Google review
A great food experience. We turned up at about 7.30pm and were lucky to get a table after a short wait. This place is busy, so recommend booking if possible. The wait staff were very busy, but stoppped for questions without making us feel we were a nuisance. The food: we had starters, pizza, and dessert. The starters were amazing - well prepared, presented and delicious. We said we would share a pizza, so the pizza was brought on two plates (2 quarters each) with identical garnishing - none of this one pizza, two plates and cut it yourself stuff. The desserts are amazing - wow. We had their take on the tiramisu and panna cotta. Both delicious - not too sweet. My wife described the tiramisu as heaven on a teaspoon. The panna cotta had hints of herbal flavours and went well with the strawberry topping. Mmmmm - if we lived here, we would be frequent customers.

Pizza Bufalina is among the best I've ever tried, including traditional and modern pizzerias in Naples.
Michele S — Google review
Normally I dont write reviews but this had to be shared If you speak Italian go for it - if not, you wont have a great time. Seemingly anoyed waiter came and prepared my table with a very unfriendly demeanor - I felt like I was not welcome here at all. If you dont speak Italian with them you wont get treated the same. Ordered a Pizza + Water - The glass in which the water should be in, made it to the table but the water never did. (but that can happen) What shouldnt happen is that, hearing the staff laugh at other guests and make fun about them in italian as they were sure that they couldn`t understand them. I could though and it was not pleasant.

Central location at Bormio down with parking place. We were 2 families of 4 adults and 4 kids, Keller steak house is pretty family friendly. More importantly, the steak is superb. We ordered 1.2 kg T-bone, 1 entrecôte, 1 big plate of starter, 1 burger, grilled corn and house red wine and soft drinks. Cost 240EUR including tips, reasonable price. Service staff speak well English and friendly as well. We definitely will come back again.

We went to this restaurant as a birthday dinner while travelling to the area. The reservation took a bit to get sorted through the email, but we were accommodated and welcomed once we got there. Place is very interesting in layout and atmosphere is great. This is not a cheap restaurant but nevertheless the choice of steaks, sauces, sides and wines was great. Did not enjoy the bread basket as i felt the bread a bit difficult to chew. If you wish to have a good steak in a nice ambiance paired with a good wine is definitely a good place to start with in the area.

Great place for meat lovers. My sirloin steak was perfectly medium done, very tasteful, with home-made delicious sauces, a glass of a quality red wine - they have a decent wine selection - and a bowl of veggie insalata mista to accompany - a perfect choice after skiing & snowboarding. But after biking or just hanging around, too, I’m pretty sure. Strongly recommend this best steakhouse in town!

Enoteca Guanella e Ristorante dell'Enoteca is a charming wine bar and restaurant located in the pedestrian area, offering a delightful selection of wines paired with delicious dishes. Just a short drive from Bormio's center, near the Bagni di Bormio, Buca19 is recommended for those with a sweet tooth. The restaurant boasts an inviting atmosphere and serves delectable cuisine.
Months before arriving to the restaurant I wrote to Cristina about arranging a 60th birthday celebration for my husband. She was amazing and so communicative. When we arrived in Bormio we went to see her to discuss the evening. She recommended red wine, Prosecco, and dessert wine to pair with our dinner. We sat in our own private room. The entire experience was Devine. The service was impeccable, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and THE FOOD!! The food was amazing. Cristina’s husband is the chef and what a chef he is. It truly was an extremely special experience. When in Bormio, please do not miss out on the opportunity to dine here. FIVE STARS!

A beautiful place in the heart of Bormio. Great selection of food and wine, honest service and excellent customer care. I visited Enoteca Guanella with friends and overall had a great experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere charming and the staff very attentive. There was a small error on the bill that I didn't notice until the next day when I was elsewhere. I contacted the restaurant and they handled the situation in a completely professional manner - they responded quickly, apologized and refunded the amount claimed. You rarely see such honesty and customer care. I really appreciate their fair approach and clear communication. Next time I'm in Bormio, I will definitely be back - and I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates great atmosphere, quality food and sincere service.

Had an amazing dinner celebrating my friends’ 14yrs anniversary. We all went for the deer fillet, which was amazing. Being all on the medium well side, the waiter recommended taking it medium to fully enjoy the flavour and texture. The dish was absolutely delicious. We paired it with a local Sauvignon, 2022 vintage, which paired amazingly well with the sauce the meat was served/ cooked in. For desserts, we highly recommend the meringue, as well as the framboise liqueur we had as digestive. Worth mentioning that you get to visit their wine cellar, have a chat with the sommelier and pair your food with the best wine in the house. Great service and a very friendly warm atmosphere.

Great setting, attentive and knowledgeable service. Wine is chosen by going to their connected wine shop. Retail+10 to have your choice with your meal. Very knowledgeable wine staff. Best to describe the experience you are looking for and see what is recommended. The food was very good. Deer Fusilli and slow cooked Cod perfectly prepared. Finished with a Sacher torte which was a good representation but I would have preferred the hard chocolate on the top only, not all sides (traditional). Most definitely a strong recommendation. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

I have missed feelings about the place. I definitely praise the culinary effort of the chef introducing Piemontese cuisine in Valtellina using excellent ingredients (even if honestly charging 23€ for two slices of brasato, sempre di ottima qualità(!), is too much to my opinion). The tartar of fassone is excellent, vitello tonnato is one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The pastas are good too. The wines are excellent and this is why I give three stars. The service is the worst. I definitely think they should reprimand (or better lay off) the girl with the blond ponytail. Even if she sees and hears you, she still ignores you. The first evening we dined here, I had to send my pasta back twice to be reheated as it arrived completely cold to the table. Once I sent it back for the second time and asked the blond girl about the status of it, she just said“Non ho una minima idea”, ie “I don’t have a slightest idea”. I was shocked by her answer to say the least. I thought for the moment we were dining somewhere in France 🤣. The Italians are famous for being best at restaurant service but this girl is definitely a rotten apple :). I can’t say much about their desserts either. The bunet was stinking of almond extract a mile away when it is supposed to have hazelnuts in it. On our second night we ordered Sacher but little we knew that they don’t bake it at the restaurant but order from Pozzi pasticceria next door. Needless to say, we sent it back. At Pozzi you pay 3,80€ and 8€ by them. It is not about the price though. I think this is even against the law. They buy cake from Pozzi, they serve it along with one (!) raspberry (and not “on the bed of frutti di bosco” like the menu mentions) and they don’t even put the name of Pozzi on the menu, ie Torta Sacher di Pozzi! If you decide to dine here, choose a bottle of wine with the help of the enoteca owner (he really knows his stuff!), try to avoid the blond girl, specify you want your pasta hot 🤣 and avoid Sacher Cake or bunet for dessert

Really a nice experience twice. Piedmont influenced menu with delicious choice of various delicacies made with meat, cheese and vegetables. An experience I recommend

This charming eatery offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for families and friends alike. The menu features a variety of traditional mountain dishes crafted from fresh, local ingredients that truly reflect the region's rich flavors.
We ordered pizza and pasta, and both were delicious. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The only issue was that we didn’t have a reservation, so we were seated near the entrance where the sun was directly in our faces, which was a bit uncomfortable.

The place was huge plenty of tables and lot of customers on that time so we had to wait to have tables. They have fixed menu for lunch. We asked for night menu and if it’s ok to order it and they said yes. So we ordered a ravioli and ribs of deer but suddenly arrived another. Over all the food was good and delicate but next time asked first the customer for alternatives before you served. Thank you for comprehension.

This place gave us the ultimate Italian vibe, and we absolutely loved it. We wanted to experience what - for us - felt like real good Italian food, but we hadn't found it yet. On our last do in Italy, we tried this place. The pasta carbonara, the gnocchi, and the two local dishes were amazing. The tastes and creaminess were perfect, and the dessert was really good as well. I'd highly recommend this place for some good Italian food . Prices were really reasonable as well.. quite cheap actually...

Firstly, excellent house red! A seriously tasty vino. Food is excellent. Service is prompt and staff are very helpful. This place is un-assuming from the exterior but is among the best places I have eaten in Italy. Pizza’s are incredible & pasta dishes are rich in flavour and portioned perfectly. If we ever find ourselves back in Bormio, we’ll be back at Sunrise!

SunRise was so good, patrons without a reservation waited over an hour for a table.

One of the best restaurants in Bormio where to try typical local cuisine. They welcomed me in the kindest way even if I showed up 20 minutes before their closing time, and they were dedicating to me full attention explaining in details the various dishes options and the best wine matches. We stayed and ate here twice over three nights. The food and high level of service is deserving of a Michelin star. They sell themselves short as a pizzeria. I had a dish of veal tongue that blew me away, and that's not all. Decor is like my aunt-in-laws house, but it doesn't take anything away from the experience. If you are not the type of person to take the safe, typical Italian choice of pizza or simple pasta, this is the ticket. Bravi.

Service was quite friendly and ok, the place looks nice with an American vibe. But the food was just bad. Our burgers were lukewarm, the patty was dry and gray, bacon was tasteless, the bread didn't seem fresh, and the burger as a whole didn't taste like anything and it was dry. It felt like everything was frozen and then microwaved. Two of my friends got the buffalo wings and said they had a weird texture and the sauce tasted like something you'd put on a pizza.

in one word a great place in the middle of Bormio. pizza good burger ok. the worst thing about the place is a lady about 18-20 years old (waiter) who completely ignores you. when you order something she brings half of it. when you make eye contact with her that you would like another drink she doesn't care at all. when paying you tell her that you had ordered something extra and she calmly tells you that she didn't put it on your bill and that it's ok. you can have great food but when an idiot serves you you can't do anything about it. we have been here twice and the second time I lost patience

Family run Hotel, the service is outstanding, the restaurant is absolutely top in quality and, variety and presentation, location is perfect (in front of the main slope). The rooms are incredibly quiet (impossible to hear anything from the other rooms). The design and architecture is very cosy, you can appreciate that every detail is well thought. The spa is one of the best i have visited: design is beautiful, very spacious, with Sauna, Turkish Bath, hot water baths tubs, and a very large relax area. If you stay in Bormio this hotel is by far the best one to chose.

A group of 12 of us stayed at La Genzianella for 5 nights so that we could do some road cycling. Hands down, this is one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel oozes charm but without sacrificing any modern comforts. The main floor lobby and sitting area is expansive with smaller and larger enclaves for groups of all sizes to gather. The rooms were well sized and while the bed was not luxurious I still slept well. The bathroom and particularly the shower were fabulous. The bike room is very tidy with all the tools and bike stands necessary to do one’s own tuneups and the wash station outside was very well equipped with soap, degreaser, and compressed air to blow all the water out. The spa is simply marvellous with a great steam room, sauna, hot tubs and shower set up. There is also a super room for stretching and doing calisthenics; so nice I’m going to try and emulate it at home. Finally all of this is wrapped up with an impeccable family providing leadership and hospitality. Thank you Wilma, Marta and Frederica and all the wonderful staff for all your warmth and graciousness.

What an amazing stay we had at hotel Genzianella! The family and staff running this hotel are professional, caring and made every effort to ensure that we were comfortable and felt welcome. The recently renovated and updated facilities and furnishings are superb. We particularly enjoyed using the wellness centre sauna's and hot tub at the end of each day. The views from our bedroom were magnificent. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and had lots of healthy and delicious options. For dinner, we helped ourselves to a variety of salads, cheese, desserts, bread and fruit, in addition to the 3 course dinner of creative and traditional menu items. I thoroughly recommend you visit this hotel if you are in the area, you will definitely want to return. And... yes we have returned and it's as beautiful as ever. This time we took advantage of the complimentary yoga class and guided hikes and enjoyed both so much. The attention to detail with the hotel environment as well as the hospitality is top class.

we have Been going on vacaiton here multiple times and keep coming back. Hotel, placement and staff: The family hotel has the greatest placement ever, being on the middle of the piste. Outside is a afterski place with the best fascillities; blasting “afterski Music”, incredible food and drinks, comfy decor and the hotel has the best service i have ever witnessed. You Can ask for whatever you want and they Will try to bring it, plus they are very nice.

EnoPizza4u is a delightful gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Visitors rave about the freshness and deliciousness of their pizzas, which are prepared quickly and served in generous portions. The quality of ingredients truly stands out, exceeding expectations every time. Guests appreciate the warm welcome they receive, even after braving a thunderstorm! The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with a limited but impressive selection of pizzas paired perfectly with local beers or Italian wines.
Arrived here soaked through after getting caught in a thunderstorm and were given a warm welcome. Great local beer, top quality pizzas, had great fun with the owner and even got a complimentary jar of delicious tomatoes!

Very friendly staff; Pizza is also good but I think a bit pricy; Tiramisù was layered that perfectly that it can‘t be made in house and for this 6 EUR is really too much. Did not try the wine but looked good. In total would recommend it still but skip the desert

I spent several days in Bormio for a cycling event and visited Ristorante Contado multiple times. The pizza they offer is exquisite but reasonably priced compared to Belgium. I tried the local meat specialty, Bresaola, on one occasion and it was delicious.
We are vegetarians and were so happy to find this place! Vegetable soup and the malfatti were exceptional and the homemade fries were among the best we’ve ever had. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Thank you!!

In Bormio three nights, ate here first and last. Just as good as it was on my previous two nights visit four years ago. Back then I had an appetite as I'd really cycled up Stelvio, this time not so much as I cheated and caught the bus up, for the easy ride down. Contado was just as welcoming and welcome this time though, even though I hadn't really worked for it.

We spent a few days in Bormio for a cycling event, and went multiple times to Ristorante Contado. The pizza they serve is exquisite but relatively cheap compared to Belgium. I took one with Bresaola, the local meat specialty. The last night, after the cycling granfondo the pizza was sold out, so I was "forced" to take a local dish, and I am glad it turned out that way! I tried the "Al Piat de Baita", a combination of sausage, deer stew and grilled mushrooms, served with polenta. On top of that, the restaurant has a very friendly atmosphere and the owners are polite yet funny.

Loved this cozy but spacious and welcoming place. While a lot of other restaurants were only filling half of their tables, requiring reservations despite being nearly empty or only seating one party per table per night, this place graciously welcomes all. If they have room you're in. The food was good too. Healthy pours on 1L wine carafes, plus you could order carafes of beer (never seen that before).

(Translated by Google) We order venison ravioli and pumpkin cream soup. Inedible ravioli thick and hard pasta, tasteless filling, completely without salt and good but completely tasteless pumpkin soup. The second course was decidedly better, the duck breast which certainly needed to be cooked more, the mashed potatoes were salty and like the other dishes it was also bland. Accompanied by two red wines, bill 84 euros. Price too high for what you ate. Good table service.

(Translated by Google) We ate at this trattoria at the recommendation of our hotel. The only thing we liked was the pizzoccheri, which, however, was without potatoes and lacked butter. The tagliolini with venison ragù had little meat and the sauce was probably thinned with cream, which was sweet and flavorless. The amaretto crumble cake was not bad but extremely sweet; the cheesecake tasted too cheesy and was hard. Overall, the quality was poor. Nestled on the slopes, Ristorante Gallo Cedrone is a charming après-ski bar that stands out with its unique circular design, separate from the main hotel restaurant. This delightful spot offers an impressive selection of mouthwatering dishes, including some of the best pizza in Bormio! The friendly service adds to the warm atmosphere, making it a perfect place to unwind after a day on the slopes.
We were on the slope in the Al Kiosco Gallo Cedrone apres ski bar, it is circular builing, not in the big restaurant of the hotel. The best pizza I have ate in Bormio! Very friendly service. Wide choice of food, all was delicious. It is possible to sit inside or outside. The only quite bad thing is the access. You must ride on skis through ski school with a lot of children, it is not very safe.

Been there a couple of times in the last days. Looked nice and calm in the evening for a coffee or in the afternoon, but a short lunch stop changed completely my mind. At lunch when we paid 2 euro for "pane e coperto" per person for a short snack (at 11:45 -> plate of fries for a kid or a small salsiccia sandwich), without either getting any sauces or bread, clean table cloth and cutlery on the table. We had to clean up the table ourself at the beginning in addition. I wouldn't mind paying for the service if you provide a service. I understand 'pane e coperto' is a very polarising issue in Italy. On their side the price is clearly stated on the menu, on the other side the same menu is used in the afternoon and they don't charge it for a plate of fries and a beer. Got one of the two "coperti" waived after I complained. I've got a 2 dl glass of beer while the menu says 3 dl. Owner objected that the full glass is 3 dl. Too bad beer had foam. Stupid me I didn't take a picture as I realised it after I've taken a sip. If a beer glass has a capacity of 0.2 l (capacita di servizio) you can't pass it for a 0.3 l. It's really border-line. We asked a can of coke (3.5 euro), got the 4d l glass with a lot of ice (and 50 cent more). This gave me the feeling they were trying to scrape the bottom of the barrel from everyone. As the place got crowded the owner (or manager ?) was shouting multiple time at his employees for being sleepy and lazy. Some other employee shouted back "non si puo' lavorare cosi'" ("we can't work like that"). I know it's not my business, but the atmosphere was a bit tense. Close to the Gallo Cedrone Ski-school, so you kind of pass from there if you you have kids having ski lessons. The outside terrace is very nice.

Tom S — Google review
1. They don’t tell that they take 2 euro per person for service. They have bread and service in the middle of the menu (how I supposed to know?). 2 euro. They brought 1 plate with bread but took 8 euro. 2. I ordered polenta with eggs (waitress even spell it in Italian). They brought it. But in the bill we found polenta with eggs and salami. Cashier (very aggressive woman) said that we ate it so we don’t have proof. I never gave our children salami. Should I make a photo of a dish every time I eat? 3. When I said I will pay for what I ordered, woman said “I call police, my good friend is working there”. What’s this? Threat? Corruption? I said “ok, call them”. But she didn’t. At the end she made discount. My opinion: they think that people are resting and they won’t check the bill. But 25% were very notable. Overall, the food was not good. Never come again anyway.

Ristorante Agriturismo San Gallo is a charming and welcoming establishment that offers stunning views of the valley and a unique touch of eccentricity. Embracing the farm-to-table concept, this place exemplifies Bormio's dedication to sustainability by prioritizing locally-sourced ingredients for their breakfast offerings. The authenticity extends to the presence of their own livestock, which can be observed through a large window in the restaurant as they graze in an adjacent stable.
Simply awesome. First of all, we were greeted by the hotel dog who makes sure the guest arrive safely. The rooms are full of small details, the wooden furniture and house release a very lovely smell. We had the room with a infra-red-sauna and a whirlpool on the balcony - what more do you want. The food was really nice, we had dinner and breakfast here. Service is without flaw, they take care about everything.

Kind homey friendly family run farm b&b where nothing was too much trouble for the team there (and they are a great team!). spacious individually designed rooms, an exquisite restaurant, the best breakfast we’ve ever had (all home produced goods, fresh oranges to juice, local produce and Prosecco on the breakfast bar for a real holiday treat) fabulous independent local wine list and wonderful spa zen area. The best bed I’ve slept in, attention to detail, spotless, built with love and quite simply perfect perfection!

We chose this place because of its outdoor seating and food. But they said we had to sit inside because outside was all reserved, even though there were tables available outside for the entire time we were there. Then we ordered and it was nothing special. Only one waiter knew what was going on. He was forthright. Another member of waiting staff had to ask us if we were expecting another course, and, another member of waiting staff tried to end our meal before our mains arrived. This was all very disappointing. One of the mains was very similar to a starter we had had. Why does the chef think that is ok, and, why didn't the waiter warn us when we ordered?

After over 40 min of waiting for an initial service after menus and water ( while the table of 6 next to us were served , as were other tables ) and multiple requests,to perhaps even order a drink we left - restaurant came highly recommended - but if you can’t get any food or drink - what’s the point ? Absolute fail - shame cause we wanted to support a young couple doing interesting food - or so we were told . Owners need to staff better …… Went up the street to Hotel San Lorenzo - different vibe - much more traditional white tablecloth restaurant with great service - and a absolutely fantastic level of food / wine and service - so the universe delivered us a excellent evening ..

What a gem!!!! we have just returned home having spent a week in the wonderul Hotel Terme. This is a family run Inn. It is like being a guest in someone's home. The level of hospitality, friendliness and helpfulness is second to none. I will start with the food: Apparently the Father of the present Chef was celebrated in the area for his culinary skills and also taught cooking in the local school of catering. Well his son's cooking is a testament to his standard of excellence. Every night we were treated to a 4/5 course dinner that was entirely home cooked. The food was sublime to say the least. On top of that it was served old style with silver service The theatre of the service added to the entire experience without being in any way stuffy.Breakfast in the morning consisted of freshly made croissants, fresh orange juice, choice of meats and cheeses and of course lovely sweet treats. I could go on and on about the food but will talk about other aspects. Location: It was about a 5 minute walk to the old town and had spectacular views of the surrounding snow clad mountains and little towns. Ski Bus: The free ski bus ran from the back door right to the ski lift. it ran about every 15 mins. Rooms: Our room was ensuite. It was very comfortable, sparking clean and had everything we could want. Yes, it was small and compact but it had everything we needed. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!!!Thanks Laura, Fernando, Federico, Francesca and lovely lady who looked after our room. Thanks for making our week so special. The Irish couple.

Chalet La Rocca Ristorante Pizzeria is a delightful gem nestled in the heart of the ski slopes, where you might typically expect just a quick pit stop. However, this charming spot exceeds expectations with its quality pizza crafted from fresh ingredients and an impressive selection of beers that goes beyond the usual fare. The lively atmosphere is enhanced by fantastic music from a live DJ, making it an ideal place to unwind after hitting the slopes.
We are here since 4th years 👌☺️ - always perfect. Excelent food and service 👏👏👏👏 see you next season❤️👌🏆

Probably the best place for lunch with the most amazing views of the mountains. There is a separate area for a serviced table option on the other side of the restaurant, which we enjoyed every day.
Vidas D — Google review
You usually don’t expect much from bars by the ski slopes – more of a quick warm-up and off you go. But this place was a pleasant surprise. For a fast-food-style spot, the pizza was more than decent and made with quality ingredients. The beer selection was a nice surprise too – not just the usual lagers (or the typical Italian “Europils”), but also wheat beer and some other interesting options. Plus, there were plenty of warm drinks to choose from, whether to heat up or just enjoy – from mulled wine (though we had an even better one at another slope bar) to various warm liqueurs. All in all, a great little stop between runs, and we gladly came back a few times throughout the day. :)

Skiers and snowboarders perfect pit stop before going down the slopes for a warm - or a colder - drink or a bite in a full afternoon sunshine with spectacular views. Good spot for a lunch, too. La Rocca means the rock so rock music lovers may enjoy their tunes there before the ride.

Awesome music with a live DJ, service is phenomenal. We ordered some Bloody Marys and added some salt+pepper on our own. The moment they saw us do that they asked how we liked our drinks and since then they have been PERFECTION. Absolutely fantastic service and food. I recommend the Tatar Panini and of course, their Bloody Marys.

The bald waiter is rather getting a myocardial infarct than picking up our order. We waited 2 hours before they ASKED what we wanted. Only one waiter can take food orders and he obviously cant handle it. Get some help. Giga understaffed and inefficient crew. They took over 40 minutes and 3 people to clean up a table next to us. They even took our order of drinks wrong. We all order beer like what??? I would rate the food if we got any...

(Translated by Google) Terrible service from the owner of the restaurant. First, once we had our menus delivered, after waiting about 15 minutes, the "very nice" owner rudely took them away from us, telling us she had to prioritize other tables and would deliver them to us later (we had to wait another 10 minutes). Then, while we were eating, she decided to take the cheese from our table, casually placing her arm on my friend's plate. Despite pointing this out, she walked away without even apologizing. It's a shame, because we weren't the only ones to experience this problem... I must, however, compliment the very kind waitresses and the delicious food. I really don't think we'll be returning to this restaurant... During my trip in northern Italy, I noticed that many restaurants offered a multitude of dishes on their menus, but with little variation. However, after a week of searching, I stumbled upon La Sablonera ristorante which stood out from the rest. This establishment boasted welcoming hosts and served some of the freshest meals I had encountered during my vacation. The Misto Sablonera presented intriguing flavors while the Insalata Vegana was remarkably invigorating.
A great place to eat in Bormio. Plenty of outdoor seating within view of the trout pond from where your meal is being sourced. Had the troutburger and with fries and it was delicious. Will absolutely plan on eating there again when I'm in the area.

I'm so happy we stumbled upon this place. Everything we tried was incredibly delicious. The trout, in particular, was outstanding – fresh from their ponds, it had a fantastic flavor. We also couldn't get enough of the grilled vegetables; they were delicious as well. We'll definitely be coming back for more! 😊

I almost gave up finding a place to eat fresh rainbow trout. Until we found this cosy place with the fishpond next to the river. I am so happy and the fresh rainbow trout is big with lots of vegetables as sidedish. Healthy and delicious, really TOP !!!

We made a reservation for 6 people via Google, which was confirmed separatly by Google and the restaurant itself (or at least that is what I suspected since I don’t speak Italian, but it said: La tua prenotazione è confermata). When we got there the restaurant was closed and we were very dissapointed since it looked like a very cosy and good restaurant. Apparantly we were not alone in that situation, since there were other people waiting around that made a reservation.

In our travels in northern Italy we found most restaurants to have an over abundance of dishes in the menu, and really more of the same. After a week, we came across this restaurant that has lovely hosts and some of the freshest food we’ve had on our vacation. The Misto Sablonera had very interesting flavors, the Insalata Vegana felt incredibly fresh and the Trota Iridea was fresh, well grilled and seasoned to perfection. Only downside is the decor can be more modern to compliment the great food.

Excellent restaurant, particularly as a coeliac looking for Gluten Free options. Friendly staff, amazing views of the mountains, lots of space to park outside. Great experience with their menu delivered by tablet multi-lingual and a specific Gluten Free section with lots to choose from. In fact I think every dessert was gluten free! It was great to get to sample some local traditional dishes too. The pricing was very reasonable and the food absolutely delicious! From the centre of Bormio just keep in mind it's a bit of a walk, so maybe consider the car or just be aware it'll take a while to get there and back.

If we didn’t leave tomorrow I would be back! It exceeded expectations and is truly worth the price. The service is stellar, atmosphere is beautiful and food was phenomenal. The traditional Polenta with generous amount of porcini mushrooms melted on the tongue and my partner loved his pig shank with polenta equally. We couldn’t leave without a dessert, tiramisu und a water cake ( which is vegan btw). They have a separate menu for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options!! We will be back next time! Grazie

It’s not hard to be a fan of Bormio Power given its consistently innovative cuisine, but their 2025 New Year’s Eve menu took it to a new level. Chef Mario’s creations embracing both traditional and modern cuisine, as always using locally sourced farm-to-table ingredients, were stellar. Everything was great, but after we went to the restroom, they didn’t let us back inside even though we had a table and had spent nearly 300 euros. They made us wait at security, and we felt humiliated despite spending our money. Our friend inside tried to help us get back in, but we were left waiting at the door for almost an hour. They responded to us in Italian even though we didn’t speak the language, which was very rude. We felt extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. It was a terrible experience, and we were very upset. This system needs to be fixed. We were four girls, and the situation was completely absurd.

Lovely apres bar and restaurant. Wide ranging menu, including an all you can eat sushi option, which we really enjoyed.
Julia S — Google review
We arrived post-lunch hours, encountering the Italian custom of serving specific items at set times. We opted for two small pizzas, one toast, and two glasses of mulled wine, totaling €21.5—a sum I find steep for the offering. My decision to return? Unlikely. The staff's demeanor was passable but fell short of the warmth we've experienced elsewhere. Though the location is conveniently situated at the foot of the gondola, the elevated prices, presumably due to the locale, were anticipated but still felt excessive.
T. M — Google review
Multiple free tables, many free seats at the bar in the restaurant part. The apres ski bar half empty I'd say. Still we only got a: you have to wait for half an hour. Without even asking whether we only want to drink something or whether we intend to eat something. Did they not like our faces or think that a family of 3 would not be interesting enough for the income?

During my recent week-long stay at Hotel Girasole Bormio 2000, I was thoroughly impressed by the warm hospitality and friendly demeanor of the staff. The hotel boasts an unbeatable location just steps away from the ski slopes, making it truly "ski in, ski out.
I stayed for a week in this lovely hotel, the staff are absolutely amazing and super friendly and helpful, nothing is to much trouble, the food is great, the room was comfy and cleaned everyday and a special thank you to Mery the receptionist, she was helpful and awesome and a welcoming face when we came into the hotel and throughout our stay, also Martina the bar maid was really friendly and cheerful. My bed was broken, the ladder was taken off the bunk bed, the side thing was unstable, cold room, no heating, weird stains on the shower curtains and bad smell in the bathroom. I was itchy the entire night and the cleaners steal. there were holes in the bedding and the food gave me food poisoning. I went here on a school trip and to be fair the only good thing about it was skiing. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want a few pretty pictures.

I recently stayed here at the Girasole hotel while spending a week skiing at the Bormio ski resort. The skiing itself was amazing, and the hotel itself was truly "ski in, ski out". The staff were all nice and friendly, the rooms were comfortable but not luxurious and the food was of good quality but often repetitive. Entertainment at the hotel includes a games room and a pub open in the evenings, however the main attraction of this location is of course the skiing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay when skiing in this area.

A family run spot, and it's one of the best food we had over the few days trip in Italy, by far. A quick pit-stop after the baths become a food feast for us. Bread, antipasti, meats, vine, pasta, lasagne - can't fault the flavours and service by Stefano (grazie mille). You can even grab some for take-aways and cook/reheat the food later. Recommended for sure anyone passing by or staying in the area.

Al Fiume Apres Bike is a delightful outdoor venue that perfectly caters to both cyclists and those simply looking to unwind. Nestled near a scenic bike track, it offers an inviting atmosphere with colorful furnishings and plenty of safe play areas for children. The friendly owners create a warm environment, making every visit feel like coming home. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or just a refreshing drink after your ride, the stunning riverside views enhance the experience.
After being served free beers earlier in the week from the hostess after riding down the path and coincidentally stopping outside the front of the bar to dangle our feet in the river, we decided to return on the Friday to pay for those very well received free beers. Dennis and I stayed for 3-4 more beers, atmosphere and friendly nature of staff was amazing especially so considering it was unseasonally cold. Great place, populated with lovely locals.

Pizza Takeout
Pizza restaurant
During my recent travels, I stumbled upon Ke Pizza Bormio Takeaway, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise! The moment I tried their pizzas, I was hooked. With a perfectly thin crust that’s cooked just right—no sogginess in sight—and toppings that are generously but thoughtfully applied, each bite left me satisfied without feeling overly full. The atmosphere is charming too; the outdoor seating offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, making for an unforgettable dining experience.
We stumbled across Ke Pizza by accident and it was so good we came back the next day for focaccia's at lunch. The pizzas have beautiful thin crusts, cooked to the centre with no soggyness. The toppings are thinly spread too leaving you full but not bloated. And the paper plates are robust and don't fall apart when cutting. We enjoyed the friendly service and the outside seating with the mountain backdrop was stunning. The best pizza of our Italy trip this year 🍕😎👏

Unfortunately a bad experience for me here despite high expectations from reviews and the pretty extensive menu. Sunday night and possibly the wrong day for the cashier but she made us feel very unwelcome, and honestly did not leave because my family was tired and wanted something to eat soon. Very little customer care, and the pizza unfortunately was (1) wrong (we order the one with bufala, we got a normal margherita) and (2) of low quality (soggy and burned in places). Also, part of the menu, which didn’t help either. Perhaps a bad day overall, but this a rather terrible experience for me and my family, and based on this, I have to rate low, unfortunately. Hope this was just a one off.

Many different pizzas to choose between to a nice price. You can eat at the place ore takeaway. Very central in Bormio and the staff are also very kind. A few tables inside and som more outside if you want to eat there, but we could se that most of the coustumers chose takeaway.

Nestled in the heart of a picturesque ski destination, Nevada Restaurant and Cafe' offers an unforgettable dining experience that perfectly complements your stay at Hotel Nevada. Renowned for its warm hospitality, the restaurant is often bustling during peak ski season, thanks to its prime location near the slopes. Guests rave about the exceptional cuisine, which features a delightful breakfast spread including meats, cheeses, baked goods, and hot options like pancakes and eggs.
Wonderful restaurant - we dined here while staying in the hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive, and we appreciated their efforts. Breakfast spread (for hotel customers) is a spread of meats, cheese, preserved fruits, cereals, baked goods, and a few hot options including pancakes, bacon, and eggs. They also have fresh juice and coffee. Dinner menu is great - we had the “house board” every night which allowed you to choose from a set menu. Portions were generous, diverse range of options each night, and very very tasty. There is also a self service salad bar and a wonderful range of tasty desserts.

(Translated by Google) Terrible experience! Poor service: the waiters didn't know what we had ordered, even the chef had to come up to ask us what was missing from the order. Dishes served individually and with biblical times. Poor meat quality. Hard, old bread. We asked for fresh bread but they always gave us the same one (certainly recycled from days gone by). Finally, when we order fries with sauces we get expired sauces. Having pointed this out, we were told "it can happen", without apologizing for all the inconvenience. I absolutely don't recommend it. (Original) Esperienza pessima!

(Translated by Google) We stayed at the Nevada several times last year and always had a good time We decide to bring a friend to dinner this year but what a huge disappointment!!! Renovated and very nice restaurant, the food is always of high quality but the service is embarrassing We didn't feel at ease because we were asked three times by three different waiters whether we were hotel guests or "passers-by", only to then understand that the difference obviously consisted in the menu but above all in the portions of the desserts (a waitress below voice explained to us that for "passers-by" the portions were more generous) They brought us dishes that we hadn't ordered and ours to another table. At the time of the bill, the owner couldn't find our table and asked us what we had eaten, comparing and looking for the right table and the right bill on the portal. Finally, when booking, as we had a dog, we asked if he could come in and they said no so we didn't bring him but then at the restaurant we saw three dogs We asked why and they explained that they were guests of the hotel but that if the dog was good he could come in Here's perhaps a little advice: specify it when you ask so that a "passerby" knows what to do and doesn't feel bad about it. The quality of the food is still good but I don't think we will return again (Original) Siamo stati al Nevada diverse volte l'anno scorso trovandoci sempre bene Decidiamo di portare un'amica a cena quest'anno ma che grande delusione!!!

I ordered a portion of polenta and mushrooms worth 15 euros for my two children to split between two and at the cashier they charged me 26 euros for the 2 baby portions. When I pointed out that my order was for a portion split between 2, they replied that they charge the baby portions like that because there is still the "work" of two dishes. Truly ridiculous and a real "theft". It has never happened to me in any restaurant. And above all the arrogance with which it was told to me. (Original) Delusa!!!! Quando ho fatto notare che il mio ordine era di una porzione divisa 2, mi hanno risposto che loro le porzioni baby le fanno pagare così perché c'è cmq il "lavoro"di due piatti. We found La Casera through The Fork and enjoyed a delicious tourist menu that offered a variety of dishes from the local cuisine. It was a bit challenging to locate using the navigation system, but it is situated near the Girasole hotel.
All the people working in the staff were very friendly and helpful! Given that we came with a small kid they were always there for us! The food and drinks are actually great! Much better than what is usually offered in Germany or in Austria. And also polenta with mushrooms was 10/10 just awesome

Disgusting place... Stuff is extremely rude, especially the old guy, who kicked out everyone who finished lunch, kids were afraid of him. Don't waste your money and time for that "restaurant".

What an awful place. We booked a table in the restaurant and were greeted and served by the only guy on service. We asked for plates for the bread and were refused. We asked for everything. Zero service and what service there was, was very poor and begrudgingly. We went to pay bill and were told we couldn't split the payment and it all needed to be on one card. We refused and told them it's ridiculous. Eventually they split the bill. Food was below average, service was awful. This restaurant has prime position, piste side but has completely lost its way. Avoid.

We were seated and hopeful but the 1 Waitor took his time to come over many times and seemed to not hear us when asking many times. We were eventually brought bread and oil I simply asked for some plates to put the oil on and he said no because your food is coming soon which I found to be very rude. Finally salty food came we ate and we went to get the bill and expressed we would like to split the bill which seemed to be a huge problem for him as we are not allowed to split the bill atall yet there was a reply on a recent review stating we should have simply asked which we politely did many times to no avail. No surprise the resteraunt was half empty shockingly bad service and below average food for an extortionate price. In regard to the reply of a recent review this statement makes no sense as what was said is what we did so please fix your own mistakes👍

(Translated by Google) The pizza is truly quality, you must like the Neapolitan version which has a high edge but dough, tomato, mozzarella and other quality ingredients. It's a shame about the service which lowers the tone of the place a little, dishes passed in front of other diners, the request for desserts and more made as if to a friend and not to a customer. Industrially produced sweets, probably a well-known brand, but nothing special. Both blonde and dark beers are good. Overall a good pizzeria where a little effort on the service side would make everything much more worthwhile (Original) La pizza è veramente di qualità, deve piacere la versione napoletana che prevede un bordo alto ma impasto, pomodoro, mozzarella e altri ingredienti di qualità. Peccato per il servizio che abbassa un poco il tono del locale, piatti passati davanti ad altri commensali, la richiesta per i dolci e altro fatta come si fa ad un amico e non ad un cliente. We were checked in quickly and the room was really clean and comfortable. Our bikes stored in the underground garage and We quickly grabbed a few (nice) beers and relaxed in the garden. Although the bar was “closed” we had nothing to complain about, service was great. Come evening, we had a bite to eat in the restaurant. Even though there was a big party being served, we got the attention and care from the staff that was super. The food was incredible good, fresh, tasteful and real value for money. This is a modern, tidy and clean hostel. The breakfast is fresh and comprehensive. However, the hostel is situated next to the main road in Bormio, hence our room towards that side of the house was extremely noisy!
