(Translated by Google) It's impossible to give only 5 stars... the Gers deserves at least 32! Here, it all comes together: rolling landscapes worthy of postcards, breathtaking sunsets, gastronomy that would make a Parisian in exile cry with joy, and above all, warm, authentic people who take the time to live. Between foie gras, Armagnac, Sunday rugby and village festivals that never end, the Gers is more than a department: it's an art of living. Once you taste it, it's impossible not to have it in your heart. (Translated by Google) 9.7.2023 I visited this very interesting house in 2023. I don't know how it is today, but back then it was possible to enter the entrance hall of the house. There were mailboxes behind the gate and that was probably the only thing that reminded me of the 21st century. Everything else breathed history. I learned from some source that the house still looks the same as it did when King Henry IV lived here. It really looked that way inside. Only the original atrium is now covered with a translucent roof so that it doesn't rain inside. There was a notice by the staircase for visitors to respect the privacy of the residents of the house and not enter the staircase. Of course, I complied with the request and I am 100% sure that the owners definitely didn't notice my presence in the entrance hall. I am very pleased that I was able to see this interesting house up close, so to speak.

Nestled in a beautifully renovated 19th-century cavalry barracks, CIRCa stands as France's premier hub for contemporary circus arts. This vibrant center is not just a circus; it also houses a school and hosts an annual festival that brings the excitement of urban culture to life. The campus features the charming Do de Gascogne rehearsal hall, accommodations for international artists, a delightful restaurant, and an information center.
I dare to say, the best place in Auch to have lunch. For a really affordable budget you'll get fantastic and homemade food in an lovely old and stylish converted industrial building with friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Art museum
Memento - Espace Départemental d'Art Contemporain is a captivating museum housed in a former Carmelite convent, now transformed into an intriguing space for contemporary art installations. The current exhibition, Union Libre, offers a thought-provoking experience and runs until October. Visitors appreciate the blend of historical ambiance with modern artistic creations. The 4th Wall exhibition showcased the seamless integration of contemporary art within the charming old building.
An interesting exploration of sentimentality by a variety of modern artists, humourous, eldritch, sometimes oversaturated colours with a natural earthy feel, set in a recovered convent. It is easy to imagine were watching the daydreams of those inhabitants who we're reminded of in the doors andfoot-worn stairs.
