Bowers Museum, located in Santa Ana, is a stunning Mission Revival-style museum that offers a diverse range of global art exhibits, both permanent and temporary. The museum's Spanish Colonial-style architecture provides an impressive backdrop for its remarkable displays. Visitors can explore a rich collection of pre-Columbian, African, Chinese, and Native American art alongside California art from missions to plein air painting.
My family and I went here for the Terracotta Warrior exhibit. It was my first time at this beautiful museum. It's small but we spent about 2 hours exploring it. The Terracotta Warrior exhibit was excellent. We spent a lot of time there reading and talking to a very knowledgeable docent. After that we checked out the other exhibits in the museum. They were all great. I really like the Chinese and South Pacific artifacts as well. The exhibits on Pico were also very interesting.

What an amazing collection this museum has. I was not aware of it until the I vote for an after hours event landed in my email. I highly recommend giving them several hours of your day to have a chance to see everything. I will be back.
Alison H — Google review
Recently went to see the Terracotta Warriors exhibit. Well curated and not too crowded. We went on a day where there was a separate festival in the courtyard. The permanent exhibits are also enjoyable. Parking can be tricky, especially on weekends where there are other activities going on; however, there were other additional overflow lots and street parking. Street parking may be free or metered and may be less than the on-site parking fees. Ate at the Tabata restaurant and the food was good. The hostess did a great job accommodating our large party as a walk-in request.

Went to fantastic public talk on developing a Clear Mind by a young and personable Buddhist nun named Gen Demo. Also, a fantastic Buddhist thangka collection of Vajrasattva and the 4 Kings. Really exceptional. There is also a California Western Mexico collection of paintings and work dating back to 200 BCE, including a pottery of a woman chanting and meditating
Randi T — Google review
Took the family here during the Terracotta Warriors exhibit. After exploring that, we checked out the other parts. We were there for six hours and still haven't seen everything. It's definitely a place to come back to over and over. Staff was friendly and professional. The facility was clean and modern. Highly recommended for visitors of all ages.
Annette W — Google review
Great ambience. Interesting artifacts (I was especially fascinated by the Oceania exhibit). The crown jewel was without a doubt the teracotta warriors special exhibit, and there were free guided tours. One can easily spend three or more hours there.
David H — Google review
I’ve visited the bowers twice now. They have amazing Hindu art, and indigenous Taiwanese style works. I loved the American Impressionism as well. The second time we had gone for the terracotta warriors in china. It seems that the bowers receives some rare exhibits every now and then so it’s worth checking in multiple times especially if you are local to the area.
Sharon — Google review
Generally, I am not a fan of art museums. But Bowers Museum isn't like a lot of art museums. Today they have a special exhibit on the Terracotta Warriors. Permanent exhibit include Sacred Realms which is Buddhist painting. Masters of Silver, Arts of the Pacific Islands and more. All items and their history were all explained well. They even offered tours but we didn't take it. Even if you don't care for Art Museums this one is worth a look

Zoo
Park
Located in Santa Ana, California, the Santa Ana Zoo is a popular destination for animal lovers of all ages. With over 350 animals from 120 species primarily from Central and South America, visitors can enjoy exploring the zoo's 35 exhibits. The zoo offers a petting barnyard and a mini-train ride, making it an ideal spot for families with young children.
This is a lovely little zoo. My friend and I decided to check it out since we were in the area. There is decent amount of parking with some overflow if none is available in the front. It's a decent size, we were there about 2 hours, leisurely walking through and looking at the animals. All the animals had an indoor area to hide, so some of them were sleeping while we were there, but we got to see over half of them out and about. There are lots of scenic spots to take pictures, and lots of seating to rest. The day we went had a pop up that was Mind in Motion, which had booths pertaining to community events and lots of child programs and wellness, which we thought was really neat and a positive addition to the community. It was a Saturday, so it was decently busy, some animals that were out would have a little crowd gathered to look at them, but we still got our turn to view as well. There were "fun facts" throughout the park, which we both found informative and interesting. There was also a butterfly exhibit but that requires reservations a head of time, which we didn't know, so the wait was too long for us. It was a lovely day out for walking around the zoo and enjoying the atmosphere and animals.
Maika R — Google review
Attended the orchid show. Incredible! Never seen so many beautiful flowers. The zoo is going through a lot of construction and going down a path and then having it closed was a little bit disappointing and so many closed exhibits. However, we stumbled across the butterfly aviary. Oh my gosh it was incredible. So many butterflies. It totally made the visit worthwhile. That part was wonderful. Seeing what they are changing will be good for the zoo. It just still has a while before it is complete.
Janet B — Google review
Absolutely NOT — Santa Ana Zoo, never again! We spent a total of just 24 minutes on the grounds, and it was one of the most disappointing zoo experiences we’ve ever had — and we’ve visited around 17 zoos across the U.S. The frustration started right at the ticket booth. Lisa, who was working alone, struggled to manage both the line and phone calls. She took a lengthy phone inquiry while guests waited, causing a 10-minute delay before I even reached the counter — despite being second in line. When I politely asked if she could place the call on hold to assist waiting guests, she replied that she was alone. I understand being short-staffed, but a simple “please hold” would have made a big difference. She appeared stressed and disengaged — not exactly the warm welcome you’d hope for at a family attraction. Inside, the disappointment continued: • At least 12 empty enclosures, including the main waterfall habitat, which was completely vacant. • Three large green gates were blocked off. • The Halloween inflatables were deflated and neglected (and it was already 10:36 AM). • The butterfly exhibit and all rides were closed. In total, we paid $25 for less than half an hour — that’s $1.04 per minute — to see three small monkey exhibits, a sloth, some birds, and a few frogs. That was it. This zoo charged the most we’ve ever paid and for the least value by far. We left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and honestly, misled. I strongly believe a refund is warranted. If you’re considering visiting, read the reviews first — we wish we had.

in not sure why people are complaining about the Santa Ana zoo on the reviews here? It’s a small zoo & the people working there are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! It’s a small zoo. You cant expect San Diego zoo from a local zoo, that’s just easy to expect do not come here with extremely high expectations, come here just to stroll around and have a good time. I walked around and it took me about an hour, I was actually observing the animals. Some of the enclosures are indeed empty, but it has signs saying there will be a new friend there soon. Butterfly enclosure is for springtime only and the website states online that the rides are open weekends only. It’s not hard to deep dive and research before coming. The waterfall/new area is empty because if you read, there’s a sign that says it’s not put together yet and will be done soon. I enjoyed seeing various types of monkeys, anteater, birds, goats, horses & more. I also enjoyed the goat petting section. I would definitely come here again $14 per person (adult) is extremely reasonable, you’re supporting the zoo with the ticket purchase.

A really great small zoo. Our grandkids aged 3 and 7 thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The butterfly experience was probably the highlight. It is a very nice zoo and well kept. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this zoo for any age keeping in mind it is small.
Walter B — Google review
Not very many choices of animals to see but it was still a good experience for us. Traveling from Hawaii, this was our fist encounter with camels and the excitement still lingers for me. And the monkey with the beard was just too cute for me. The vegetation was more than I expected in a zoo. It kept the park cool, shady, and beautiful. We even got a flower for our hair. The cost was affordable enough that my college child was able to buy our tickets.
Twila K — Google review
It is not crowded on a weekday afternoon. Even though many constructions are happening inside the zoo and quite a few empty habitats, we had a wonderful time. The entry fee is $13 for adults and $10 for children. The butterfly garden is delightful, with lots of beautiful butterflies and you can spend as much time inside as you please and the electric queue system is good too similar to something a restaurant used. Note. The zoo closes for entry at 4pm but you can stay till 5pm.

Discovery Cube is an educational museum in Orange County that focuses on providing over 100 hands-on exhibits and special programs for kids. It offers interactive activities such as a simulated helicopter ride, an earthquake simulator, and cooking workshops. The museum provides a unique experience for both children and adults, with attractions like walking through the inside of a dinosaur and exploring a rocket inside a big black cube.
We’ve had an annual pass to Discovery Cube and really enjoyed bringing the kids there to explore. It’s an engaging spot with plenty of hands-on exhibits that keep them curious and active. It does get crowded, so timing your visit is key. Overall, a fun, educational space for kids to play and learn.

We had a great time running around! Definitely recommend for ages 3-7. We had a good 2 hours of activities and fun in all the different sections of the cube! My favorite was the dinosaur section. You can go on missions and scavenger hunts!

Me and my family went here over the weekend and had quite a bit of fun. There's multiple floors and many different exhibits that my little sister had a blast doing the ocean and sea themed exhibits. The only problem we had was that it was a little pricey with tickets being $20+, but other than that it was a great experience all around that thought everyone new things.

The personal dessert pizzas are really elaborate cookies 🍪 and they are 😋 yummy. The cafe is nut free so they have sunflower butter instead of peanut butter. If you have a child with allergies this is a good place to visit. There are two locations, the other is in LA. If you get a membership it's 180 annually for two adults and up to four children. (This might be good for play dates.) Also, you can get discounted tickets for companions if you have adult friends who are bringing their children. Parking is 10$. All in all I think it's a good value.

A really really great time. Our grandkids aged 3 and 7 had plenty to do and hold their attention. Plenty of hands on activities and is really a destination for all ages.

My 2 year old niece loves dinosaurs, so after googling "dinasaur park near me" we headed to Discovery Cube. It was THE BEST! Her favorites were the dinosaurs & the sea lab. I was worried that she may be too young for this experience, but she was able to engage with so much and I whole-heartedly recommend Discovery Cube.
Deborah P — Google review
They support teachers with one free ticket a year! Thank you. More places need to hook teachers up. My 5 and 9 year old were very entertained. We stayed like 4 hours. Worth the drive up from SD.

Huge place for kids to explore around. Nice outdoor space for dino lovers and/or kids who just want to have a quieter space. Would recommend to bring headphones for kids who are sensitive to the noises. Ended up getting the membership cause the kids don't wanna leave (despite being tired) and beg to come back again!

The Heritage Museum of Orange County is a charming attraction that offers a glimpse into the 1890s with its restored homes and buildings surrounded by beautiful floral gardens. This museum not only showcases the cultural heritage of Orange County but also serves as an affordable venue for weddings and events, set on eleven and a half acres of secluded land. The historic plaza, Victorian homes, and lush gardens create a picturesque setting for garden weddings and receptions.
If you are looking for a hidden gem full of beautiful spaces to get ready in, say I do, and celebrate, consider the Heritage Museum of Orange County! The historic buildings have been restored meticulously, and the grounds are well maintained. Even though the property is large, it has an intimate and private feel to it and features a citrus grove, gazebo, rose garden, and many other photogenic areas. Staff is friendly, helpful, and works hard to ensure everything runs smoothly. My clients were able to party until midnight with their 170 guests. It was a memorable fun day, and much of the credit goes to the Museum. Check them out!

Hosts a number of special themed events. I went to Twisted Tales 1:Wonderland last night. The site has classic old homes, wagons and other things from the past. If you're interested in the supernatural, the place is said to contain a number of spirits.

This place is so cool. I've been here twice for two different events. Saturday we went to Creep it Real and it was lots of fun. Lot's of cool Halloween vendors live music, kid and pet friendly. The old houses are amazing and hold a lot of history.

Had an amazing time joining the OC Haunts tour of the Kellogg house last night. What a beautiful home and Darcy was a great ghost guide. Really going to visit there again and hopingbto do more of these tours.
Julie S — Google review
First and foremost let me start off by saying this..wow!!!! I was absolutely amazed by the staff. Highly recommend 10/10. My partner and I went to attend the ghost tour and let me say this. I am a believer in the paranormal and supernatural and my partner is some what of skeptic and I must say out of all the places we been to I was so excited. The spirits that reside here are very welcoming. We were greeted by Kaitlyn and the wonderful Darcy. These two dynamic duo made the experience so much fun. We arrived 20 minutes early and we were allowed to roam the grounds with a few rules. I was impressed by the knowledge these amazing ladies had. They were astonishing and so kind. I honestly felt welcomed especially in the presence of Mrs. Helen herself. I would love to talk about more of my experience I've had here but I would like to say this. If you are looking for some ghostly encounter this is the spot your guranteed to meet some spooky friends. Thank you so much Darcy and Kaitlyn were going to come back for our wedding these dynamic duo need a raise. Make sure you guys don't disrespect mrs. Helen cause she will def kick you out. I can't wait to come back and bring some of my friends

Stunning wedding venue! The lush lawns, orange groves, and vintage buildings create a romantic, timeless ambiance. Staff were helpful and organized. Only downside: limited vendor options. Still, great place for an outdoor celebration.

Museum
The Old Orange County Courthouse, located in Santa Ana, is a historic 1901 building that now serves as a museum showcasing temporary and permanent exhibits on local and regional history. This landmark played a significant role in the formation of Santa Ana and nearby cities, making it an essential stop for those interested in the area's history. Situated in the Historic Downtown District, visitors can immerse themselves in the region's past while exploring this century-old courthouse.
Went here to get our marriage license and it was very quick and easy to do so. The building is very beautiful and I would get married here if we had not already planned for a church wedding.
Catherine D — Google review
Beautiful building with free admission. The building consists of 3 floors, the first floor (which is more like a basement) consists of the county’s archives and historic memorabilia. The second floor was jam packed with people taking wedding pictures or waiting for passport appointments (you can get your passport done here btw. The third floor was where the historic courthouse was. Overall, beautiful architecture and plenty of OC history. Just be aware it will be filled with people getting their wedding pics taken.
TheDoRanger — Google review
The museum was empty because they have not placed displays out yet during the reopening from COVID. Not sure when that happens with the timeline. Beautiful building! Luckily, I had a OC Parks pamphlet from before COVID that provided a lot of information that I might have missed. It might be a better trip to wait for when things fully reopen? UPDATE! Don't miss downstairs! All of the history is there...
Jennifer C — Google review
I love this old court house. I have photographed many a civil marriage here. It never get's old....see what I did there?
Jean P — Google review
Business is back to "usual" at the Old OC Courthouse. - Couples can have 0-2 witnesses sign their marriage license. - Couples can bring guests for their onsite ceremony, which takes place in front of an altar again (room A or B) or at the superior courtroom if you pay the additional fee (highly recommended if you have a larger group). - If you get married during a busy day (Friday or the one Saturday a month they are open), allow extra time in case you need to park at the nearby parking lots or structures since the little courthouse lot does get full quickly. - The city contracted a third party, and parking tickets *are* being issued. - You can pay with coins or credit card but need to be careful about the expiration time. - You can use the convenient phone app, but you will pay 20 cents extra per hour (whyyy). - Also, allow time for construction traffic. Many streets are either half closed or one way. In summary, it is the most practical, affordable, and beautiful venue to get married in OC. Best wishes!
Lucia D — Google review
This past Friday 2/5 was my first time photographing a ceremony at this beautiful courthouse. While still under Covid guidelines, we (couple + myself) make the most with our surroundings. I was able to capture a first look, gorgeous portraits on the staircase, and we even did a petal toss. I got married here on a Thursday and it was really busy in the late afternoon but since I made an appointment check in was really easy and quick. We got to have a larger room that was very nice and the officiant was quick. They let you exchange rings and recite your own vows if you want to well.

The Downtown Santa Ana Historic District is a vibrant and cosmopolitan area with charming Art Deco buildings, old movie houses, and the county's first courthouse turned museum. It offers upscale dining, unique shops, a performing arts theater, and the renowned Artists Village. This district is the heart of Santa Ana's artistic downtown scene and Spanish-style museums. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities from morning to night including great dining options and late-night entertainment.
What a great experience with the Lowrider community. It was great to see they had their families with them and few had their sons in the front seat....very cool everyone out cruising having a great time.

The Downtown Santa Ana Historic District offers a unique blend of old and new. The historic architecture is a highlight, housing an evolving arts scene and some solid dining options. It maintains an authentic, somewhat gritty character, which is a departure from more polished districts. While it has its charms and is clearly on an upswing, navigating the area can feel inconsistent. It's an interesting place to explore with really nice old architecture and the city is trying with its revitalization efforts.

A beautiful downtown! We visited on a Sunday morning. While taking photographs of the many interesting and amazing murals we looked for a breakfast place. Many places did not open till 10 or 11 am but luckily we did find a Taquaria that was open for business. I definitely want to come back and check out the nightlife. Looks like a lot of construction and revitalizing is going on but the murals and old charm are being preserved and it is worth the visit now.

River View Golf Course is a great value course with an interesting layout. The course is built into the Santa Ana River's path, providing a unique setting for golfing. Despite some fairways being washed up with sand, making them feel like giant bunkers, the course remains playable and offers a challenge with tee shots and approach shots over water. The practice facilities are impressive, featuring a large putting green and an 18-hole practice putting course in good condition.
This golf course is the best you’re going to find for the price, offering a welcoming community atmosphere and owners who truly get to know you, like you, and work hard to provide a great experience. The greens are consistently some of the best in Southern California—I’ve heard that from many people over the years, and my personal experience confirms it. I’ve played here dozens of times and have enjoyed every round. It’s a relaxed environment where you don’t feel like you have to be the best golfer to have a great time. The driving range is affordable and well-maintained, with multiple coaches available if you’re interested in lessons. All the workers are very nice, which just adds to the overall experience. It’s a great course for golfers of all levels.
Vinnie D — Google review
Surprisingly accessible for newer players. While some holes demand accuracy, there’s enough room off the tee for beginners to enjoy the challenge. Plus, the largest putting green in the county is a fantastic bonus. Practice facilities are top-notch. Good pace most days, though weekends can drag. Affordable and convenient, especially if you're near Anaheim or Disneyland.
Beavess — Google review
Narrow fairways and quite challenging course layout. Greens are fast. This course surely is not for beginners. Play pace isn’t bad even during the weekend morning, and the price is quite good(for both green fees and foods) One of the biggest issues is some holes are too close to the other hole and balls are coming very dangerously from the other holes.
Terry K — Google review
Great value course. Very interesting layout. Second visit was in January after some rain the river is finally filled with water. Makes it mor interesting to play. Tee shot over the water. And 160 yard approach to green over the water.. Only downside is that some of the fairway is washed up with sand and feels like giant bunker.. some holes just became half narrow of fairway it used to be. Still somewhat playable. Just be aware some sand is wet. Try not to retrieve your ball on the riverside sand. It can be still very wet and soft. You will sink as soon as you put your foot in there. Speaking from my experience. My shoes got wet and my score got so bad after that.
SW C — Google review
Had a great time and course was in pretty good shape. Only issue was speed of play. Took us 5.5 hours to finish. I wish the Marshal would have enforced the pace by removing people who just aren’t ready for a full size course or having people play through. If a group of four is all beginners and hitting 10 or more shots each hole it’s not as much fun and you lose your rhythm. It’s not as easy course, so if you are just getting started I would not play here. I would play this course again, narrows fairways and the sandy ravine can be brutal on your clubs if you play it as it lies, but I would definitely play again and had some really nice holes and challenges.
Aaron T — Google review
Interesting course, alone Santana River, shorter than regular 18 hole course but fun to play. Greens are great condition, surprisingly good playing path on weekend. Definitely a course worth to try in South California.
Raymond C — Google review
There were range balls flying onto the first hole and just laying there getting in the way. We got kicked off because we were having a rough start. Got insulted by the workers because we weren't playing well and got kicked off because we couldn't play at a professional level. Poorly maintained dead grass on the fairway and pivots all over the place.Overall I recommend never coming here unless your tiger woods and want to play on a bad course with poor management.

I was @ the Golf Course on Saturday and a more mature man in age who worked there was harassing some young men in a golf cart hole to hole telling them to play better or get a refund of their $. Horrible sportsmanship and golf etiquette. You should be ashamed.

Nestled in Downtown Santa Ana, 4th Street Market is a vibrant hub offering an array of upscale food stalls, bars, cafes, and entertainment options. The market houses fifteen carefully selected restaurants with creative chefs and food artisans. From boba and kombucha drinks to diverse international cuisines, the food hall caters to various tastes. With its outdoor dining area adorned with modern decor, it provides a charming setting for enjoying a delicious breakfast or casual meal.
DTTN - an eatery like no other. I dare not spoil the awesomeness with mere words nor are my few pics truly representative of the caliber of eclectic dining at DTTN. If only I lived closer then I would be all in on this place, making a monthly pilgrimage to a Mecca of culinary delight. Rarely had my money been so willingly spent on such extravagance. I will be back, again and again, despite my frugality for nowhere else has earned my respect. This place is the epitome of down-to-earth fine dining, and they know it but don’t gatekeep. You’ll feel the same when the Chef/Owner visits with an air of nonchalance, his casual demeanor a breathtaking departure from the stiff and starched white coats of “fine French chefs”. The cuisine will have you believe an army of such chefs toils and creates edible art meant for digestion by the eyes as much as the mouth. Consumables for the soul without bizarreness, whether it be food or drink. Speaking of, their bartenders are world class mixologists with a library of drinks both spiked and unmarred by alcohol. Repeat visits afford the opportunity to get the same concoctions as before or test the waters for something unique and new yet suited to your particular taste profile. Vietually a virgin anything always on order. Concepts as concoctions are what they deliver. Don’t even get me started on desserts. Having attended CIA for a pastry chef degree myself and with a lineage of long-ago famous bakers, I can honestly attest to an exquisiteness that is otherwise missing throughout the south land and all of Orange County. I hadn’t intended a screed the lengthy and am stopping short of further extoling the virtues of DTTN. Suffice to say: Do Not Miss This Place! Go Now, Go Often. Make Reservations & Make Memories! 15/5 stars - highly recommend Here’s the extra stars: Mixology: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Desserts: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My first time here and the place itself is pretty big. It wasn't too crowded when we went, but there was delicious eats everywhere you look. It was a nice clean place. This visit was I was able to try faka's island and baked banhs. If you love sweets and desserts like I do, don't miss this place.

There are many different types of food here. From chicken to cookies to Mexican food to boba and even a bar. This place is a big circle with plenty of seating. There are lots of restaurants so you serve yourself pretty much. Its a neat place to hang out. Too bad since covid, this market is sort of dead.

Really would never have anticipated this place from the outside as it's so unassuming. Came on a Sunday to grab lunch and was super pleased. Inside is such a chill food court. There's a little courtyard area in the back that when we went was showcasing a music school concert. There are a ton of food options of different cuisines and you certainly can mix and match. I did appreciate how accessible everything is in terms of the food, drinks, bathroom, etc. Would definitely come again to explore more of the cuisine offerings.

Was a nice time, I didn't eat here, but hubby ate a sandwich from the deli, he said it wasn't bad and seemed to smash it 😅.I really enjoyed the Paloma slushy from the bar, really good adult slushy on a hot day. We did enjoy walking around the street market, it was a nice evening and I did enjoy some street eats. Overall a nice evening out.

This place was so cute! I love the atmosphere and all the vendors are so nice. They give genuine opinions and take the time to ask you what you like and what you’re craving. The food was delicious too! I can’t wait to go back. Definitely recommend!

Pretty disappointed with this place. We went on a Monday at 6:30 and only 2 places were open. I had checked the hours of different places on the website to make sure we would have options, but even places that should have been open were closed. On the plus side, Tuk Tuk was really good, and the portions were large.

The Yost Theater is a vibrant nightclub and concert space located in an iconic Vaudeville theater. It offers high-tech light and sound effects, making it a must-visit for entertainment seekers. With a capacity of 1000, the venue hosts live performances and DJ sets, providing the perfect setting to dance the night away or discover up-and-coming bands. While some visitors have raised concerns about parking during major events, many have had positive experiences at this cozy and historic venue.
Was impressed by this venue. Watched Omar Courtz and there was plenty of room to move throughout the venue. Plenty of bars to grab drinks and never crowded. Pricing was reasonable and overall an easy and fun experience.

I frankly had a really good time. Went with some friends, my first experience ever at a club. We were there early, so we were kinda just hanging out, and got in line early so we were one of the first in. We check out the whole venue, but chill on the dance floor most of the time. Very clean venue at first, love the atmosphere when there's a ton of other people there. Getting later into thr night, a few drunk people did still partially spill there drinks on my friends and I, but barely, and I didn't really care so I got over it quickly. We were there till 12:30, so three whole hours. Bring the energy, and get ready for such an awesome party. (The 2000s night was such a good idea on their part.) (Also, many people here said to watch for pickpockets, but everyone was super respectful, when they weren't drunk or tipsy.)

Went for Yosts Haunted Halloween 🎃👻🔪🖤 Bought GA Tickets in the beginning but asked a few questions about a table and Moe was really awesome in helping me out with answering questions and helping me book a table last minute ! He was attentive to me at the venue and kept his word with a hookup he gave me which I really appreciated! ☺️🙏🏻🖤 The bottle service girls were super cute & nice ! Cameron was really sweet and when I asked to close my account she actually did and gave me my card back didn't have me waiting long so that was good. Security did a good job keeping an eye out on people and I like the fact the check you at the door regardless of VIP or not , rather be safe than sorry especially nowadays. They had a photo booth so obviously I took some pics! Even had confetti 🎊 Glow sticks were passed out, & had a smoking area outside! Personally for me it was worth getting a table , I didn't waste a bunch of money on drinks like I would other places, the money I paid for my table went to my bottles and drinks and didn't have to tip when getting my drinks due to the %20 mandatory service charge for the bottle service. Cameron was actually really sweet too and told me to skip the tip part again due to me already paying my tip in the beginning so I appreciate her genuinity 👏👏👏 DJ was good played a bit of everything and had fun in my VIP section. Tbh if not in VIP it's pretty packed so definitely get in line early if ur GA & be prepared for sweaty people on the dancefloor like some sardines . Probably super full just because it was Halloween 🎃🖤 but for big events like that I recommend buying a table. Definitely ask for Moe! He's great & I had a great time! Thank you Moe 😝

The venue was nice, sounds and lights are good. Vip and ga division is lame. Them closing the restroom immediately when the show is over it's diabolical. No wonder the streets smell like piss.

This place is truly a hidden gem for a wedding. We were looking for the perfect venue to have a party-like atmosphere to go along with our 1920’s Gatsby themed wedding. We shopped around many places in the LA and OC area but when we walked into The Yost, without even saying a word, my wife and I looked at each other and already knew this was the spot for us! The catering company 24 Carrots that is connected to The Yost is spectacular. Pricing is very competitive. (I left a separate review for the catering company) As for the venue, it really is what made our wedding spectacular. I don’t think we could have had as great of a wedding if it had been somewhere else. From the lighting, to the stage, high ceilings, MASSIVE bar area, to the club-like vibes, it was all a grand wedding feeling all thanks to the venue. I lost count as to how many people kept complimenting our wedding venue and how nice it all looked. The venue got more compliments than anything else! My initial concerns of it being too small for our 152 guests was a non issue come wedding day. I think you could fit comfortably, maybe 180-200 down stairs and according to our wedding coordinator. And even more guests than that but the rest of the guests would have sat upstairs which is fine. If you’re looking for a unique venue to give off more of a party-like vibe rather than a typical wedding venue, go with The Yost. It made our wedding one of the best weddings I could have imagined.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Santa Ana, the Grand Central Art Center is a dynamic cultural hub that beautifully blends visual arts, theater, and music. This expansive facility spans an impressive city block and features three levels dedicated to showcasing contemporary art from around the globe. With its rich history dating back to the late 90s, it has become a cornerstone of the local art scene.
This is an amazing find. I was invited, by my son, to a theatrical production put on by just graduated high school students in the Santa Ana area. Specifically; Orange County School of the Arts. When I entered the plaza there was also an arts and craft show going on, amazing Street music and artists of all kinds. I took a stroll around the plazaanf discovered beautifully decorated walls, the concrete beneath my feet was designed by amazing artists and the decorations on the buildings themselves were very eye-catching. When I entered the building I found several different rooms that included everything from an artist gift shop, a small black box theater and several varied artistic shows spread throughout the entire structure. You had to look down, up and in the corners to find all the hidden spots of amazing beauty that this building offers. Yes, the shows was absolutely fantastic! They were exquisitely written and produced and acted one acts that we're beyond what I've seen on many a professional stage. This adventure was well worth my time, energy and the few bucks I spent. If you enjoyed reading my review, please LIKE below and, as always, have an amazing life!

MainPlace Mall in Santa Ana, California is a spacious shopping center that offers a diverse range of stores, including department stores, boutiques, and specialty shops. Visitors can explore well-known brands and unique finds while enjoying various dining options such as Olive Garden and California Pizza Kitchen. The mall also features entertainment facilities like a movie theater and a bowling alley for those seeking leisure activities.
Suitable price for those who are looking some simple brands not luxury ones. I bought shoes there with promotion BOGO - 50% and it looks like product in my country 😂 Have food court on the 2nd floor Have family lounge ✅✅
Nancy T — Google review
MainPlace Mall in Santa Ana is an evolving blend of classic retail and modern reinvention. Once a traditional shopping center anchored by department stores like Macy’s and JCPenney, it’s now transforming into a lifestyle destination. The current mall offers a decent mix of shops—from well-known brands to niche boutiques—and a strong food court featuring local favorites and recognizable chains. There’s a Regal cinema upstairs for entertainment, and the atmosphere is clean, safe, and family-friendly. What sets MainPlace apart recently, however, is the massive construction underway. The mall is in the midst of a major redevelopment project, which includes plans for luxury apartments, green spaces, and revamped dining options. Walking through the mall, you can already see the scaffolding and blocked-off areas as crews work to reshape its future. Though the construction creates some temporary inconvenience, the promise of a modern, mixed-use community hub is exciting. It’s clear MainPlace is aiming to stay relevant in the era of online shopping by becoming more than just a mall. If you’re local, it’s worth a visit to see the changes unfold—and if you’re a shopper who loves a bit of progress with their purchase, this mall is one to watch.

A lot of malls have become desolate places with plenty of closed stores, but this one seems like it's doing really well and there is a good variety of stores that you'd want to see if you went to a mall. I highly recommend the book store inside. I enjoyed my time and plan to return.

MainPlace Mall is a nice place to shop for people on a low income. Many stores here have good prices and sales, and you can find affordable clothes, food, and small gifts. It’s not a fancy mall, but it’s clean and convenient. Good place for families and regular people looking to save money while shopping in Santa Ana.

MainPlace Mall offers a clean, modern shopping experience with a solid mix of stores, dining options, and entertainment. Phong T — Google review
Here’s a large mall that I’ll recommend for its volume and variety of stores, great for holiday shopping! While there may not be the amount of high end designer shops here as I’ve recently covered, there’s many independent retailers offering some high end sales of clothing, shoes and accessories. The mall may also appeal to budget conscious consumers seeking to find similar styles at affordable prices. There’s shops of services, entertainment and essentials. A large gym is located at the south end of the mall by the game room. There’s also a large assortment of mall vendors available for additional items, novelties and services. A designated food court has popular fast food choices available, located at about mid mall. Restrooms are nearby for easy access. Dine-in restaurants and snack bars are located randomly as well. Parking is provided all around the mall, with open lot and garage spaces. It helps to view the map prior to choosing the optimal spot for access. Disabled handicapped priority is good with placard. The Main Place Mall just about has it all, although an included general discount variety store would help to complete the trip here. It’s a bit dated, mid 80’s on the inside, tho progressively functional and clean with revisions! Decor is provided to fit the occasion, as the holiday spirit pervades the mindset of shopping!

I have lived in this community for more than 15 years, and the reason I continue to stay is because of the outstanding service I consistently receive. Just this week, our A+ maintenance team (Javier, Filiberto, and Mauricio) went above and beyond once again. They replaced my leaking washer and dryer in less than 24 hours, and as always, their work was efficient, professional, and friendly. I also want to recognize our new community manager, Paige. She has been amazing, proactive, and truly on top of things. She even took the time to personally call me to follow up, which shows her genuine care for residents. I would like to officially welcome her to our community, and I have no doubt that she will do great! In summary, it is service like this, from both management and maintenance, that makes this community such a wonderful place to call home.

They have been shutting the water off periodically during the morning for the last 3 YEARS, the elevator always breaks, they have the sprinkler guys inspect you home like 4 times a year, very noisy, and people break in to your cars. I've honestly never been more inconvenience in my life by a apartment complex. The only plus is that it is located in DSTA and thats it. Water was turned off again today. The well-designed space provides ample seating and an intimate indoor atmosphere. The cocktail menu caters to all tastes and is reasonably priced. Visitors can enjoy a distillery tour that's both informative and enjoyable, complete with tastings of their excellent vodka, gin, aquavit, and other spirits. The staff is knowledgeable about the distillery's history and extremely courteous.
I wish I could give six out of five stars. Visited as part of my birthday weekend festivities and I am absolutely elated we chose to do so. Well designed space with plenty of seating and open air space, along with an intimate indoor experience. Cocktail menu provided something for everyone, and well priced to boot. Staff was extremely polite and full of information about the history of the distillery. Scott was an absolute legend and deserves a raise, a high five, and an extra day off.

Went to the Blinking Owl to do a distillery tour. The tour itself lasted about an hour, was very informative and included tastings. Really enjoyed the experience. The Vodka was excellent and very creamy. I’m not much of a gin drinker but I could definitely drink their gin. The aquavit was interesting, had some spice flavors. The. There were a few that were ok (Orange Vodka etc.,) that weren’t bad but not my thing. Overall, had a good time. After the tour we stayed, not for dinner (it was too early since we did the 3:30-4:30 tour I think) but we did enjoy their outdoor seating and have a dessert! It was great. We definitely plan to go back for drink and dinner another time. If there is one challenge, it is finding street parking. Otherwise a great experience.

Great food and even better cocktails. Park makes a great drink and is extremely knowledgeable about his craft. A great thing about about the spirits, drinks and food everything is locally sourced. This has never really been a big factor in where I decided to eat and drink at Blinking Owl they do it right, great ingredients without the the pretentious.

Walked in around 7:00pm.. we were ignored by the bar tender. There was maybe 8-12 people in the whole place. The bar back ended up taking our order and told the bar tender inside what our order was. The bar tender made my friend his drink but forgot about my drink. I waited 15 minutes and still no drink.. there were still only about 12-14 people at the business by this time and they had at least 6 employees on staff at the time. I ended up having to ask a third time for my old fashioned.. the bartender was ignoring me and my friend so much that I took the time to ask him how he’s doing, I asked him if his day was going okay? I asked if he was doin okay.. I was looking for any reason to understand why he wouldn’t acknowledge me and my friend while the rest of the bar was empty.. The place has been open for 2+ years and I completely understand why I have never heard of this business, and I understand why there was only 8-12 customers there on a Saturday night. Great cocktails tho not gonna lie.

First time visitor but will be coming here for years to come. Blinking Owl is hidden in plain sight but what it holds past it’s own walls is a rich culinary experience with spirits to last the entire evening. Just a little under a year old from the point of this review, Blinking Owl leaves you filled with delicious and even more tasty drinks. The menu is an elevated comfort food experience that prides itself on the fact that their Ingredients are organic- grown and locally sourced from California. The chefs visit the farmers market twice a week is a claim I’ve heard from my visit . While you may recognize the comfort classics it’s paying tribute to (I’m looking at you pigs in a blanket), the food itself delivers rich flavors and surpasses any expectations you’ve come to have. Yes it’s all comfort food you could have mediocre versions of from somewhere else, but why go there when Blinking Owl does it best. So if you’re gonna have a pizza, wings and a cocktail, the obvious choice is here. Plus the staff is warm and inviting and really do try to give you a unique experience. My one true test of any eatery is how it hey respond to a mistake or an accident. Blinking Owl reacts quickly with grace, shakes it off and then goes above and beyond to win you back with their wit and charm. Overall I think the best thing I can say is that Blinking Owl has ruined me, respectfully, and has raised the bar as the new gold standard for me.

The Observatory, located in a clean and safe area, is a popular live music venue that offers an intimate yet spacious setting with stellar views from any spot in the audience. It hosts a diverse lineup of well-known and up-and-coming artists across various genres such as rock, alternative, jazz, blues, and Christian music. The venue features two individual stages where patrons can enjoy different styles of music within close proximity.
I went with my brother to see Whitechapel, and wow—what an amazing night! The three bands before them were really good and got the crowd hyped. The venue staff and security were absolutely awesome—super friendly and totally ADA compliant. As soon as we showed up, they escorted us right up front for parking and helped us get inside with no hassle at all. Since I was in a wheelchair, they made sure we had a perfect spot to see the show, and I got to enjoy it right alongside my brother. The whole experience was smooth, fun, and super welcoming. We have seen two concerts here: Glass Beams and Covet. The facility is very well laid out inside. There is a big bar and swag table. We have always been able to get a good place to stand in General Admission. The prepaid parking is convenient. The sound system can be very good, but it is quite variable, depending on the concert. It's loud, bring ear plugs.

Brian Jonestown Massacre 11/2/25. Well behaved, polite audience willing to space out and vibe to some heavy psych drone. Excellent venue. Great sound. No bad view of the stage. Felt much closer than photo looks!

Went in to see Powerman 5000! Awesome experience and the venue was incredibly clean and laid out well. Love the multi layer standing as well as the huge array of seating options. Side note: The sound mixing for this event was perfect, even in the pit I could hear the vocals very clearly which really added to the experience!

The Marconi Automotive Museum in Tustin, California is a nonprofit museum that showcases luxury, rare, and historic cars. Admission fees are donated to charity. The museum features an impressive collection of classic cars, famous cars from film and TV history such as the Batmobile and Knightrider, and rare vehicles. In addition to the car displays, the museum hosts Cars & Coffee events and occasional exhibits exploring various aspects of motoring history.
The Marconi Automotive Museum is an absolute gem! If you’re a car enthusiast or just love cool vehicles, this place is a must-visit. From iconic classics like KITT from Knight Rider, the General Lee, and the Batmobile, to an impressive collection of Ferraris and other exotic cars. There’s something here for everyone. It’s a great way to spend about two hours exploring and taking in the history. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can tell they love sharing the stories behind the cars. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable experience!

We had an event there and it was great! They hosted us very nicely. The whole place was clean and well maintained. The motorcycle and car exhibits were excellent. I could see going back just to look at them.

Took my two young boys to the Marconi Auto Museum in Tustin, and we were blown away! From the moment we walked in, they were wide-eyed and full of questions. The collection is incredible—everything from vintage muscle cars to rare Ferraris and race cars. It’s not a huge space, which actually makes it perfect for younger kids. We weren’t overwhelmed, and every turn had something exciting. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and they didn’t mind the boys asking a million questions. There’s just enough to see without burning them out, and the energy of the place is fun, not stuffy. It sparked their imaginations and made for a perfect outing. Also love that proceeds benefit at-risk youth—so it felt good supporting such a cool spot with a mission. Highly recommend for any parent looking for an easy, inspiring, and affordable adventure with their kids.

What a phenomenal place if you like hot rides and exotic cars. Meticulously maintain, and all the cars are running street ready cars. They have exotic from Lamborghinis and Pagani, to track racers, to open wheel racers. The guys there are all car, nuts, too, and full of information. We were able to talk to John Marconi, and she was the wealth of information and shared some fascinating stories about his street racing career. They do do special events where you can rent out the facility for birthday parties, graduations, etc. For me being a car nut and automobile enthusiast, I would love to have my birthday party here and share the experience with my family and Cari Nut friends. There is a station in the back where you can see them restoring a Ferrari. There is the lifts and all the equipment and you can see the restoration going along. Yeah, I would highly recommend this place. It’s not as big as the Peterson Museum, but then again this is more gearheads museum. And that’s perfect for me.

The Copper Door is a subterranean bar nestled in the basement of an artist village in downtown Santa Ana. It offers a rustic ambiance, complete with a freestanding fireplace and live music performances. The venue is known for its wide selection of beers and serves delicious food. With a lively DJ and ample space for dancing, it's the perfect spot to unwind and have a fantastic time.
Autumn: After consideration of reading all previous reviews. I decided to go out on May 24th, 2025, & give it a change to The Copper Door. I can say that I had a great experience starting with thanks to Ms. Autumn. Including from the bouncers at front door that greeted us, waitresses (Autumn) & the bartender that attended us two. I’m from out of state and I was given the chance to experience a great place to go and have fun with friends. A table for a bottle service is great. All depends on what You’re willing to pay. Definitely looking forward to attend once more in the future specially since I’m planing to move to the area. I literally thought I had to go to LA, to have a great tike. But The Copper Door in Santa Ana, is a place to go. Check it out. Give your review & let others hear you out. ✌️
Javier D — Google review
The bartender tender was extremely rude. He didn’t take the time to close out my tab himself. I guess the card didn’t go through the first time so he yelled at me from across the bar. Was supper embarrassing and made me feel very uncomfortable.
Alexander P — Google review
I was at the door and heard someone talking about their lost phone. I checked the reviews and saw that, people’s phones get stolen here a lot. I had to leave immediately. My phone was once stolen in London and after getting fully involved in the case. Me and my team found out that the pick pocketer worked in conjunction with the establishment… Any establishment that allows pick pocketing deserves 0 stars because someone in the management is always involved

After years not coming here i wanted to give it a try again , i had barely started my night with one drink at the bar next door & when i was coming to copper door the security there said i cant go in because i was “too drunk” . I told him i only had 1 drink & i was not & he said he didnt care but he told my friends they can go in . I went to a different security guy who seemed much older than the one who denied my entrance & hes like i cant do anything. My friends and I left and went to another place instead. Dont recommend this bar , they discriminate baddies here

Strange place. The music and staff were fine but one blonde bartender wouldn’t give me water unless I provided a specific order. Probably will not be back.

Willowick Golf Course, located in Santa Ana, California, offers an 18-hole regulation length layout that is suitable for all skill levels. The course features challenging fairways and well-maintained greens, providing an enjoyable golfing experience. While some areas of the course may show signs of wear, the affordable rates make it a great option for those looking to play a round without breaking the bank.
Willowick Golf Course in Santa Ana is a real gem, especially if you’re into a bit of history with your golf. Being the oldest golf course in Orange County, dating back to 1928, it’s got that classic charm that’s hard to beat. The greens here? Absolutely solid. They’re well-kept and roll true, making for a smooth putting experience. Now, the fairways are what you’d expect from a municipal course—there are a few rough spots here and there, but nothing that’ll ruin your day. It’s all part of the fun, right? What really stands out about Willowick is the vibe. It’s a laid-back, no-stress kind of place where everyone’s just out to have a good time. The staff and fellow golfers are super friendly, which makes the whole experience that much better. So, if you’re looking for a fun round at a course with some history, you can’t go wrong with Willowick. It’s a place where you can enjoy the game without taking it too seriously. Definitely worth a visit!
Michael H — Google review
This course is on the affordable side of golf course as well as driving range. The grass and sand (more sand than grass) driving range is pretty unique. The pro shop is pretty basic and no restaurant on site. Plenty of parking spaces and the availability is better than other higher quality courses.
Andy M — Google review
Greens were punched last week, it didn't matter. Easy course 4.2/10 not a long course, every par 5 is reachable in 2 shots. Nice putting green and practice area. Clean restaurant and bar on a Friday. Good food, $1.25 sodas sell themselves. Love this place
Corey P — Google review
Willowick Golf Course has potential, but overall the experience was disappointing. The course is not very well maintained, with patchy fairways and uneven greens. Facilities feel outdated and could use some upgrades. It’s an affordable option, but there are definitely better-maintained courses nearby.”
Jason L — Google review
Had a good time here. Reviews almost scared me away. We finished in 3 hours. The greens were nice, as well as the fairway. Yes - it wasn’t the typical “beautiful” course. More like a park. But for the price $35, including the cart, I feel it was a pretty good value. It was honestly not that bad. I have been to a worse course that should not have been a golf course.
Michelle S — Google review
I like that you can get on the greens, with a two some. The same day. For the average guy this course is fun. The carts can use better suspension and shocks 😆
Jeff W — Google review
Only reason for the low stars is the front 9 conditions. Fairway was dirt with patches of crab grass on a few holes. Fairways were overgrown. Greens weren’t too bad at all actually. Back 9 was in much better shape. The guys in the pro shop are awesome too which is the main reason I’m leaving this review. Came from out of town and the guys were awesome.
L.J. S — Google review
if you are looking for a muni then look no further. the greens are actually super nice. the fairways have seen better days but you get what you pay for. jeff in the restaurant knows how to make a damn good glizzy too. the pace of play on saturdays aren’t going to be quick but this place makes for some great people watching. all in all i had a great time!

It was an interesting experience to say the least.. we arrived after my husband surprised me with a cooking class that we can do together. It wasn't really cooking because each people had a job to put together the menu items. One person chops the onions, the other does another ingredient, etc... so you didn't get the full experience of doing EVERYTHING. Very fun experience. Not something I would do again but it was just very intriguing to try once.

Great place to have a Birthday Party. Our family has had two birthday celebrations in the past few & everyone has a great time & learn new cooking skills. Suzana was a great and patience instructor for our group. We learned to cook muscles (thought it would be gross, but we all found them to be easy to make and delicious). At our class we chose the menu of "J'aime, Paris!" which was fun and romantic.

Updating my review (previously I had rated 5 stars). Cashier messed up my order (total came out to be almost 2x as much). When trying to sort it out, the manager was extremely rude. In the end, while they comped my meal, I didn’t feel comfortable to eat a place that treats people like this. Reading the rest of the 1 star reviews, I am not surprised to see they’re all related to poor service.

Showcasing thousands of items focusing on California history from the early 20th century to the present, the museum features historical photos, sculptures, Native American art, as well as contemporary digital and multimedia works.
A very cozy scale museum. Contemporary style. Interesting to see how Richard Serra sculpture was respected in the design of this museum. A lot of surprise moments as you walk through the spaces. The exhibits were interesting. Staff are very helpful and cordial. Really well maintained.

Free museum with beautiful art! This was my first visit to this museum and we had a fun afternoon enjoying the installations. We parked one block away in the parking garage. It was $15 per vehicle. Not bad considering that the museum admission is free for everyone. Check in was a breeze. The museum is small but there was a nice variety on display when we went.
Sharon B — Google review
Pretty small museum, but honestly it’s pretty good for what it showcases. i come back every now and then to see cool stuff everytime. personally i park at the south coast mall and then walk all the way here, roughly a five minute walk, it’s not that bad since the parking is free at the mall compared to the parking structure that you have to pay for. i was allowed to walk in, you just need to check in with the front desk when you come in.
Kaitlin L — Google review
My main reason there was to check out Deanna Templeton’s (Being a huge fan of both Mrs & Mr Templeton’s.) and the Riot grrrl collection from the Emily’s sassy lime exhibition. So glad to see and read and learn about the other artists I was not aware of. Loved everything. Specially the turn table listening samples located throughout the gallery. Super cool and very memorable, hopefully my two daughters cherish and remember the afternoon we had that day. I know I will. Pro tip given by my sister. Park your car at the South Coast plaza mall and walk over. Unless you want to pay $15 for the parking garage and walk the same amount of distance.
J A — Google review
The Orange County Museum of Art is extraordinary, starting with its building itself, which was designed by an architect who won the Pritzker Prize, often referred to as the Nobel Prize of architecture. Right next to it is the famous Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Parking is available at the Tower Plaza parking garage right next to the museum, but it‘s paid parking. If you prefer free parking, I recommend parking at South Coast Plaza, which is less than a 10-minute walk away. Admission is free, but backpacks are not allowed inside the museum. Photography is permitted inside the museum, but flash photography is prohibited. There is a cafe in the museum lobby selling simple snacks, and a bar and restaurant on the upper floor. As you explore the museum, you’ll feel that the building itself is a work of art. The way the interior and exterior of the museum seamlessly connect gives the impression that the building was designed freely without being confined to a rigid structure. Although the museum is not large, it‘s a great place to escape from everyday life and experience works of art.
Christian C — Google review
Beautiful modern art museum. There were several really cool mixed media installations. Free entry, but you still need to reserve your entry. Worth the trip.

The Kellogg House was designed by Kellogg in 1898, showcasing his skills as a civil engineer. The house offers a glimpse into American family life during the 19th and early 20th centuries, with artifacts like an old school vinyl phonograph record and demonstrations of how butter churners and washboards worked. Visitors can enjoy informative tours led by knowledgeable guides who share the home's history.
I love Victorian Houses and been to quite a few but the Kellogg House stands out. Hiram Clay Kellogg’s fascination with tall wooden sailing ships heavily influenced his design for the custom late Queen Anne style Victorian home with neo-classical elements, I love the fun size, the colors, the staircase from which you can look into the oval dining room, the heart of the house. I'd love to peak some more through the windows of the dollhouse in there! The patient doll in the dentist's chair in there even has an open mouth! Such love for detail!!

We had a wonderful time learning about the home and it's histories. Our tour guide was amazing, and so knowledgeable. We had 2 moments of activity during our visit. 1 a man said he was touched on the shoulder. The second was when all of us where in the living room the door bells went off and the door opened by itself. Nobody was there. I also noticed something odd in after I got home. I had snapped some photos of the outside of the house. And as I zoomed in on the attic window it looks like you can see the face of an old woman peeking outside.

The Dr. Willella Howe-Waffle House and Medical Museum is a remarkable destination that invites visitors to step back in time to the 19th century, showcasing the life and work of one of Orange County's pioneering female physicians. This historic site features an array of fascinating exhibits and artifacts that illuminate the medical practices, tools, and innovations from a bygone era while also reflecting the cultural nuances of Victorian living.
Beautiful house, excellent open house tour by very knowledgeable and friendly volunteers. A fascinating history of the local area. AND they served cookies and tea after! You'll have to visit their website to find dates.

Very hard to find place. The streets are very confusing around there but it is quite an experience to drive around since there are so many interesting historical homes.
Crystel T — Google review
4/5 since it was a mostly positive mix! Our tour went longer than we planned (we dropped out around the 90min mark, looked like 2hrs total) and was focused on clothing and the building history more than the medical side - which was a bummer since this is the only permanent medical museum in southern California we could find. But overall everyone was very kind, they even set out tea and cookies for the end of the tour, and were dressed lovely. Would go again, but with a very different set of expectations and goals. Victorian historians looking for a low key tour will really enjoy it, doctors with tight schedules might instead make plans to leave southern California for a more serious medicine museum.

Amazing to see a historic home so well maintained. The authentic furnishings, which are all donated, make for an interesting tour when you realize you are viewing and touching items which are over 100 years old. Dr Waffle's medical equipment was educational. Best part of our tour with Tina was learning about the fundraising events throughout the year. What fun and all for a good cause. Preserving history~

Awesome treat for the whole family!!! Will definitely make this a Christmas tradition. I have always driven by this place, but it has never been open to go in. I took my spouse and two boys. We were merrily greeted by the society volunteers dressed as nutcrackers!!! It was so eloquently decorated. The food served looked fake it was so beautiful and precisely arranged. They also passed out a Christmas keepsake for our tree! So much history and scandal! My children loved the attic steps that of course they couldn't go up and the speak tube used by patients to speak to the Doctor through. Being a nurse, I really loved the medical aspect. We will be sure to make this a Christmas tradition and donate to it's future preservation fo generations to come.

So interesting seeing the home where this courageous, trailblazing obstetrician lived. This December marked their first Christmas decorated tours that included decorating gingerbread men and making woven cloth star ornaments. Each room was decorated by a local community group like the Ebell Society of Santa Ana, the police department, Historic French Park, Wilshire Park, etc. What fun it was!!

Went to Barnes & Noble, the only book store still open. Yeah!! I go for the magazines, they always have a good selection on all topics. I go for British motorcycle magazines and they have the good ones. And there's a Starbucks coffee in there, too. Can it get any better?

The Orange Town and Country is nice. Another tip. The City rustic waterfall on the corner. It is anchored by Mother's Kitchen on the Memory Lane side and Olive Garden on the Main Street Side. As well as seven other eating places and coffee shops as well as a nail salon, Fed Ex store, a Bank of the West, and a beauty salon specializing in eyebrows, facial hair removal and other specialties. If you have kids there are endless things that they love to play on. There is a large curved cement stage with three steps on each side. Kids of all ages like to pretend they are performing as well as play tag, hide and seek, race against other kids (or their parents). Just last night I counted 9 kids on the stage playing a game of tag. Even the little ones like to climb the stairs and walk or run. There is a large patio area with tables, umbrellas and chairs. Bring the family for dinner or meet a friend for coffee. Come and check it out - City Place. South of Orange Town and Country.

Any place in the orange circle is a good place to go. There are many little shops, restaurants, and antique stores to visit and wander through. There's always something happening in the circle. Hungry for chicken and waffles? There's a place for that. Would you like that old fashioned ice cream cone? There's a place for that. Just want a decent cup of coffee? Find that on the corner. Want to come down and listen to some Street musicians? You can find them there almost every weekend. This is one of my go-to locations whenever I have nothing better to do in my life. I always go away with a smile on my face.

The Frida Cinema is a nonprofit arthouse cinema that offers a unique experience with its two screens showcasing independent, foreign, and classic films. Named after the iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, this vintage arthouse provides an eclectic mix of entertainment options that change seasonally. From cult classics to film festival favorites and local projects, The Frida Cinema has something for every movie enthusiast.
I didn't know places like this still existed?! Character and charm for days. It's like stepping back in time to your small hometown theater that delightfully pays homage to classics and is an outlet for new Indy films. The staff is exceptionally attentive, a remarkably vast snack bar and even has fun movie related sundry items for sale. Take time to appreciate the painted murals; very well done and communicate their very cool vibe. Remarkably affordable, seats are so comfy and sound was excellent. Additionally, there is a parking garage around corner, well lit, and plenty of interesting shops and libations surrounding the theater.

I came in from Houston for the OCLFF at this venue. I found it to be small but big enough for this function. Very clean inside and out. It has charm all over and fits the area well. You should go once and that's all it takes to hook 🪝 you in. The rows of seats have so much room that you can stretch your legs with ease.

It has a great atmosphere, and the food is not overpriced. The buttery popcorn was delicious. We were there for the Cast and crew screening of Blue Murder @missbeverlyrose

I love this place, great concession prices, excellent seats, and friendly customer service. The vibe of the theater brings me back to how going to the movies used to feel.

An amazing indie cinema with a great line up of films every day! There’s a ton of charm and love packed in this place, you can tell the staff and volunteers really care about the art, from the classics to obscure, foreign and domestic. Would definitely come back!

Frida Cinema is located in the heart of downtown Santa Ana, a super charming and artsy area lined with fun shops and restaurants. I parked in the structure nearby, but there are also parking stalls with meters lined along the street. I love Frida Cinema because it shows indie films, throwback movies, and special features at good prices! I went to watch "Grave of the Fireflies" today and only paid $8 for my ticket (+$1 online fee). The lobby area was colorful and hip and the inside of the theater was decently spacious and clean. What a fun place! I will definitely come back for more of Frida Cinema's special events in the future!!! :D

I'm very fond of The Frida. I enjoy the programming and it's great to have a proper arthouse theater in Orange County. The staff is helpful and friendly. I dropped one star because I'm not crazy about the seating.

Blackmarket Bakery Santa Ana is a cozy pastry shop and bistro led by chef Rachel Klemek. It aims to capture the warmth of Southern bakeries, offering a diverse menu of light bistro fare and freshly baked goods all day long. The breakfast menu features creatively flavored croissants, egg sandwiches, and hearty scones paired with coffee from Santa Ana's own Kean Coffee.
SO YUMMY! I tried the HaNdsOM ItAlIAn sandwich and it was a 🤯. The latte I tried was really dark but I went home and added milk, caramel and whip cream then it was good. The black widow dessert was the best in the shop ( in my opinion) I got it to celebrate the new Marvel movie, super good my mum couldn’t resist the chocolate! Definitely recommend!!!!

First time visiting this location. They serve breakfast, sandwiches, coffee beverages, baked goods, and even have beers on tap! I attended a chocolate tasting workshop which was a lot of fun! We were educated on types of chocolates, how to bake with it, and how to pick out flavors. We did a little hands on action by making our own truffles. The instructor, who happens to be the owner, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend trying this bakery out and i would love to go back and attend another workshop!

Best cup of coffee in town!! Since discovering their location at The Camp in Costa Mesa, Blackmarket has become my go-to for birthday treats, breakfast, and greeting cards. Tongue-in-cheek marketing, all your favorite tv shows on 24-7, a killer vintage lunchbox collection, cider beer on tap at breakfast and railroad tile make this the Hipster Alcoholic's wet dream. Do yourself a favor and order the Southern Comfort Eggywich and take a box of bacon pecan brittle to go.

This place is amazing. We found it randomly looking for a coffee and breakfast spot on vacation from Denver and liked it so much we came back the next day. All the food and coffee was incredible and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely be here every weekend if I lived in the area. The spa offers a variety of treatments including massages, facials, and body treatments such as the sanctuary body treatment and sea salt body glow. Licensed estheticians provide personalized skin analysis for each client before their chosen treatment. Visitors can unwind at Montanya Spa after exploring the museums of Santa Ana.
Came for a sanctuary treatment package, this was wonderful! Came with facial, massage, body scrub/rinse and a solid salad lunch. All the staff were courteous and good, could not have asked for nicer people or a more relaxing environment. Would highly recommend

I have been going to Montanya for a few years now. I've only ever had massages there. I have two ladies that are my go to, Jennifer and Celeste. They are both finominal at what they do. I go to them to relax or if you're have muscle tension they can provide a deep tissue massage to work out the knots. I haven't ever wanted to go anywhere else.

Amazing, hidden gem of a spa! For my best friends bachelorette, we decided on a spa day after a few days at the Disneyland parks. We were able to schedule 7 massages on a Sunday afternoon easily! Angel was fantastic and helpful in scheduling and confirming details. The massages were also extremely inexpensive compared to other spas in the area ($150 after 25% tip). They could be charging 3x the amount for the quality of services! The spa is an extremely calming environment. It’s very clean and offers a small sauna and large meditation room for after services. Our massages were all wonderful and thorough. The 7 of us were treated by Jennifer, Celeste, and Kyana. We highly recommend Montanya, and can’t wait to return next time we’re in the area!

I highly recommend this hidden gem in Santa Ana. The building and ambiance are top notch and the massage therapists are all very talented. I see DeeDee who is amazing. She provides a truly personalized experience. Everytime I come in the massage is different, but always the highest caliber. One of my favorite parts about the experience is that you can sit in the quiet room after your massage with a heated shoulder wrap 💗 Thank you also to and the staff who are always friendly and accommodating.

Quaint little boutique spa. It is a bit pricey but they offer amenities as well with your service. There's a shower and sauna. They offer tea, water and a little biscuit cookie.
Elle — Google review
It is a nice, clean place but the prices are high compared to other full on spas. I guess they have to maintain expenses somehow but you can get the same level of massage at a fraction price anywhere else.
Nadia M — Google review
My first time here to this beautiful spa. It’s a big house turned into a quaint cozy spa. I felt nice and relax after I rushed here. My massage was average but my experience was above average.
Yen B — Google review
Always enjoy coming here. It is much more intimate then going to a larger place. The TI that was done years ago has been well maintained and adds to the experience. Street parking can be limited. There is a paid parking lot just next door intended for Bowers but I'm sure you can park there as long as one pays I think $6. They encourage stacked parking in the driveway. You will need to leave your cars should they need to reposition the vehicles. There is a lovely exterior sitting area. There is a lovely meditation room with chairs that recline and each has a blanket. Tea and a yummy almond biscotti for your enjoyment. The changing room is efficient and has a IR sauna and a shower. The downstairs restroom is lovely and very clean. They do lovely touches such as sprigs of lavender on the hand towels. They practically go thru and service the restroom after every client. They have a nice little retail area at the front desk. Appointments fill up so one must make a reservation in advance.

This is a beautiful area to explore. I came here to do some birding (which was nice!) and to find a nice spot to read, but there weren’t many places to sit and unfortunately, the amount of plastic litter at this park was hard to ignore :(

This is a beautiful picturesque park and sanctuary. You can walk out here all day and explore or just sit in the quiet shade by the water. There are hiking trails and plenty of areas to have a picnic. Bring your family and friends and spend the day. Just remember to clean up your area before you leave so this beautiful place will be ready for the next visitors.

We came here for birding. We are sad that the creek has lots of human garbage. There are plenty of shade and parking. There are homeless camps in the park too but we feel kind of safe during our day walk. Free parking.
Thien A — Google review
It’s dreadful, it looks nothing like the picture posted here on Google. It’s dirty it’s grim it’s a very short walk and your pass under a bridge which is populated with two distinct homeless communities we were followed by one homeless man who was hiding in the bushes and followed us for nearly a mile all the way back to our car. This place is not safe, this place is not pretty, this place is a monumental disappointment. Beware.

Disneyland Park in Anaheim, America's most popular theme park, is a must-visit attraction with its eight themed "lands" offering over 60 major rides, 50 shops, and 30 restaurants. The iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle stands as the landmark of Fantasyland while other original lands like Tomorrowland and Adventureland feature classic attractions such as the Jungle Cruise and Autopia.
Thank God for each of the cast members, honestly. We had misplaced our backpack with our CARKEYS in it and the workers helped efficiently find them completely turning around my worry or fear. I cannot thank the staff enough for helping us locate our lost items making my daughters 1ST BIRTHDAY, THE BEST DAY EVER!!!! Also Minnie was literally the sweetest thing ever. She was sooooooooooooo gentle and sweet to my baby girl and really took her time with her. I’m not a Minnie fan but after today she made my heart melt and completely won me over & im sure my daughter included. Also whoever worked on lighting and design for the water show at California is incredibly talented and deserves a raise. The team did such a good job capturing emotions and leaving us in awe! And my husband is a lighting engineer which says a lot ahaha. All in all, such an amazing time and it was literally because of how awesome the cast members were!!! OH and not to mention but my son was dressed up as Darth Vader and the storm troops were so awesome to stop him and compliment his fit and spent genuine time with him too. Just over all such a great day in between what could have ended up in such a disaster without our car key! Thank you so much Disney ❤️

Magical from start to finish! My recent visit to Disneyland was absolutely incredible. We spent the whole day for both parks and it was worth every penny! Two parks were clean, the atmosphere was electric, and you could just feel the happiness everywhere. The highlights for me were definitely the Guardians of Galaxy and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – the technology and detail on those rides are mind-blowing. What really makes Disneyland special, though, are the Cast Members. Everyone from the ride operators to the food service staff was so friendly and helpful, really adding to that "Happiest Place on Earth" magic. Yes, it can be crowded and yes, it's expensive, but it's a classic for a reason. It’s a place where you can truly feel like a kid again. Can't wait to come back!

Worth every penny! Disneyland and California Adventure are a must-visit. We celebrated my daughter's fifth birthday here, and we rode 99% of the rides over 3 days. She is 42 inches tall. Our top 5 favorite rides were: 1. Tiana's Bayou Adventure 2. Radiator Springs Racers 3. Matterhorn Bobsleds (my daughter's least favorite) 4. Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark 5. Haunted Mansion I highly recommend getting the Lightning Pass; you'll regret it if you don't! The fireworks show is only on weekends. Wear comfortable shoes—there's lots of walking!

Amazing experience! A magical place where real magic happens. We booked a one-day pass for one park, and then realized that McQueen — my little boy’s favorite — was in the other park. We went to customer service and got magical free passes for the second park. My boy loved the night show with all the characters. A beautiful and unforgettable place!
Joanna S — Google review
It's a very beautiful and entertaining place. Very fun to visit and the attractions are amazing. If you're expecting sort of extreme attractions, you might get disappointed. This park is more for family in general. If you hate walking, you might not like it. You have to walk A LOT, and I mean A LOT. Also, if you think about buying a tickets for both parks for ONE day, I wouldn't recommend it that much. I bought a ticket for only one, and I wasn't able to get on all rides and explore the whole park. I got there like at 10am and left until 9pm. The park is very big. Overall, is was a great experience, definitely good for small or younger children! I do think teenagers and adults can enjoy it a lot, but I it was more directed to children.
Alexis V — Google review
I absolutely LOVE Disneyland! Had a great time at this park. I went offseason when it was raining, which really helped with crowd control! There are a ton of rides in this park and something for everyone! Usually go to WDW, but happy that I got to try out Disneyland! It was awesome seeing Walt's vision for the park. Space Mountain and Pirates were my favorite rides here. I want to visit again in the future!
Gracie G — Google review
Took the adult kids and their children as a family trip. Bought the bundle tickets months ago thru Costco and so loved the adventures we had. Not a frequent visitor so, absolutely love asking questions and so grateful for the plethora of cast members that can answer those questions. Must make reservations months before trip. Food reservations are 60+days or more. Fireworks or parades prepare at least 2 hrs before (if you want great seats). Shopping prices increased this year, $2-4 more for pins and small trinket items. Def use the app. Tells you about characters (where they will be) and events or special surprises! Oh and prepare to spend money. If your a fan, you will soon find out why you will spend more. Lol.

Just magical. Can't say much more.. but I'll try. We decided to travel to Disney from Idaho for the oogie boogie bash. My wife and daughters were massively excited. I wasn't entirely sure but ended up having such an amazing time. Of course, waiting in the line for rides was always a thing but that's what you get. It really wasn't that bad. Loved every minute of it. The food was great. The rides were great. Every experience at Disney was amazing.

A great park and a great day! Went on a Monday and still really busy! If the cars ride is open go there first! It gets busy but it worth the wait. The fast past is not worth the extra as it’s a reservation fast past that you have to reserve a spot ahead of time, most of the time this was 3-4 hours in the future. It’s better just the wait in line and plan your day from whichever ride has the shortest weight time!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Magical Experience! Disneyland California never disappoints — every visit feels like stepping into another world! The park is spotless, the staff is friendly, and the attention to detail in every attraction is unmatched. I went during the Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure, and it was incredible! The decorations, the spooky atmosphere, and all the Halloween-themed shows and character meet-and-greets made it an unforgettable night. The trick-or-treat trails were so much fun (yes, even for adults!), and the special parade was the perfect mix of spooky and spectacular. If you plan to visit during Halloween season, get your Oogie Boogie Bash tickets early — they sell out fast! Totally worth it for the unique costumes, shorter lines, and exclusive entertainment. Can’t wait to go back! 🎃👻✨

next door to the happiest place on earth. prices of foods seems kinda reasonable surprisingly and hey there is ice and water available at the pasta/pizza place that was nice surprise I found! lots of cool shaded tree areas there along with music performances. Nice ambience and overall environment. Even if you don't get on all the rides, soak up the beauty of the park. Remember to keep yourself hydrated frequently and some bathrooms are much more crowded especially near high traffic and popular attractions. When the park closes at 9pm, take a stroll to downtown disney and with all restaurants book, reserve get on waiting list at least 3 hours in advance, you'll be glad you did! Lots of walking, and don't pay for preferred parking- it's actually doesn't feel that much closer. Ride single rider lines whenever it is offered and you won't complain about long waits in lines. They allow snacks as long as they are not requiring re heating and don't have pungent odors. They allow your own drinks so long as they are not glass bottles, they will make you dump at the entrance.

Adventure! 🎢 The park was clean, lively, and full of great energy. The Spider-Man ride was new to me!! super fun and interactive! 🕸️ The Toy Story Midway Mania is still one of my absolute favorites; it never gets old. 🎯 Unfortunately, Radiator Springs Racers was closed for repair, which was a bit disappointing, but there were still plenty of other great attractions to enjoy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was cheerful and well-organized. Definitely a great place to spend the day, and I’m already looking forward to coming back when everything’s open!

I was in town for a conference and played hookey. I got there just at sunset, and have regrets. There is a lot more to see and do that I hadn't anticipated. The Cars Land is a standout! I only got to do the Luigi ride, which was adorable! At first, I was confused by the SanFranTokyo land because I keep sleeping on Big Hero Six. I went to go to the Avengers Campus, and I did manage to meet Spider-Man (who was just the sweetest) and do the web slinger ride. WHOO!! That was a workout! As someone who has been to WDW dozens of times, California Adventure was trippy to me because it really feels fake. I think it's the scale that I find off-putting. But that vanishes once you move into the other lands. The Halloween decor was so fun! I've never been at this time of year, so Oogie Boogie's and the not-so-spooky costumes everywhere were a treat! I will definitely be back!
Daphne W — Google review
Such a good time. If only Mr. Burns would block the direct sunlight and keep the park cooler. So many awesome Cast Members out there making everything more magical than it already is. Tourists, chill out and have a good time. It is a busy place and patience is a must have character trait. The Lightning Lane made the day so much nicer and the intuitive ordering for food items was great! The water show at the end was incredible!
Ty C — Google review
Awesome experiences as expected, the fountain show was amazing, the rides were great, the employees and the cast were friendly and helpful. You will need more than a day to explore everything. You can only use 1 lightning Lane at once, but after a couple hours you can use another one (even if you don't redeem the first one yet). So keep an eye out for that. You can bring small backpack to put everything inside when you take rides. Take off your hat and Disney eat headband during ride or you may lost it like I did. You can put the backpack on the floor and tangled it to your foot to secure it. Everything with buckles will be expected shaky. Food recommendation; cheap quick breakfast at Pym, and our favourite ever the turkey legs from street vendors! Do an online order to save the line, bring bottles for water, and keep your Disney paper cups for unlimited soda refill. Spend some time at the garden of avenger campus, you can meet some of the avenger heroes there to chat and take pictures with.

Phantastic, georgeous! I visited South Coast Plaza as a Teenager the last time: 39 years ago. Didn’t remember much. I think it’s the most beautiful plaza/mall I’ve ever seen. Mainly recommended for well situated people. Ladies: leave your husbands somewhere else and go and explore together with your friends.

South Coast Plaza is a clean bright well lit mall that feels extremely comfortable and safe. These stores are high-end luxury stores upper brand name establishments. The mall is anchored by Bloomingdale’s Nordstrom‘s and Macy’s. The amount of luxury brands are eye watering for the discerning buyer I will be honest, I go there weekly to get a good walk in because I feel safe there. The air is cool and there’s plenty of security keeping everybody safe. I’ve actually come to know several other couples walking around the mall there too. It’s easy to get some steps in With all the stores and their offerings to look at. So check out the photos and you can see they have everything for everyone from jewelry to top clothing brands to even a Porsche store. You can even buy lucid electric cars there and it’s not uncommon to see Lamborghini to Aston Martin cars out on display. For my wife, she loves Gucci to Zaborski stores. For me, it’s Breitling and TAGHeuer watches and the Porsche store, and find me the kids love Pop mart to the Lego store I have posted as many pictures as I could of the different stores there so you can view them and see if there’s any store there that interests you. Good luck.

South Coast Plaza is a regional shopping center in Costa Mesa, California. It is the largest shopping mall in California and the sixth largest in the United States. In 1986, the mall began its largest expansion, with Nordstrom replacing its store at a new location twice the size of the original in May, and adding a separate wing across Pier Street, designated "Crystal Court," anchored to Broadway and J.W. Robinson, which opened that fall. These two stores were major retailers in nearby Fashion Island. Expansion continued in the fall of 1987 with the expansion of Pollock and the redevelopment of the former Nordstrom as an additional central space, including Tiffany & Co., which opened in the fall of 1988. The mall also features over 250 specialty stores and restaurants. Its unique collection of diverse retail outlets, from Gucci, Hermès, Cartier, and Harry Winston to Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Bottega Veneta, Coach, and more, along with bespoke concierge services, makes it the premier West Coast shopping experience. Amenities include valet parking, personal stylists, a VIP suite, parcel inspection, and currency exchange.

I LOVE SCP. Here in OC we have access to almost all of the highest end stores and shops in the WORLD, all right there at South Coast Plaza. Plenty of amazing places to eat, stuff for the kiddos and super amole parking, including valet for nominal fee. I highly recommend the dining options at the side entrance to Bloomingdales - there's fine dining as well as quick bites and it's all fantastic! Restrooms at SoCoPlaza are always clean and inviting and there's a million throughout the mall so they're never crowded. Babies? Excellent family/nursing lounges that are quiet and SO nice. Literally spending from open to close at this mall is the way!

This place has an amazing and innovative amphitheater with moving panels that can change the sound of the hall. They have some amazing performances here as well that will make you want to come back again and again. Not to mention that it is a beautiful building inside and out!

This is just an amazing theater and puts on some really incredible shows. It’s super comfortable and fun. I’ve been here a number of times and the sound is just incredible as well. Do yourself a favor and see the Nutcracker here at the end of the year if you can! It’s just the most beautiful thing. Really is one of my favorite theaters in Los Angeles and really worth checking out if you’re into any of the performance arts and especially musicals!

Beautiful modern complex in Costa Mesa with a stunning theatre, art museum, open art plaza, and so much more. The recent production of "Some Like It Hot" was a real crowd pleaser with an amazing cast and orchestra. The seating is very spacious and comfortable and they offer interior and exterior spaces on all levels to enjoy a drink or snack at intermission. The venue is very safe, well managed, and spotless so there are no worries and you can just enjoy the performance. Overall a delightful venue that is very easy to navigate and visit.

So grateful for the top-notch performing arts available at Segerstrom right here in Costa Mesa. I've enjoyed every show seen there. Most recently Alexander Shelley and the PSO were absolutely amazing!! Some probably park at the mall nearby, but I didn't want to risk a ticket and parked at the paid garage within view of the center (only $15 for event parking).

I have been to this place twice because of Naruto: symphony experience. And now to celebrate 20th anniversary of avatar the last airbender. The place is very clean and simple-- i am not sure for ADA part but I did see wheelchair users coming to see avatar the last Airbender. I hope their experience is champ as mine. I did see an elevator so i hope their navigation went wonderful and less or no hassle

Went for the Avatar Last Airbender Orchestra show. It was my first time and I had a great time. The venue is beautiful and everything felt organized. Even though I sat pretty far back, I felt like I still had a good view of everything. There were bars and concession on each floor (I’m pretty sure). Parking lot will probably get a bit crazy when leaving but there are staff to help people get out. I definitely want to come back for other shows.

Mile Square Regional Park in Fountain Valley is a sprawling city park that offers a range of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. With three golf courses, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and picnic areas, there's something for everyone. The 20-acre Mile Square Park Lake is popular among fishing enthusiasts. Despite being surrounded by streets, the park maintains a tranquil atmosphere with opportunities to enjoy walks, observe wildlife like ducks, or simply relax with a book.
Mile Square Regional Park, named for its nearly perfect square shape with each side measuring approximately 1 mile, where you can find your own tranquility amidst the city. Half of the park's area is an 18-hole golf course, making it a pleasant place to walk. The park has two lakes, Palm Island Lake is near Freedom Hall offering swan boat rentals, kayaks, and 1-4 person surrey bikes and single bicycles. Fishing is allowed here, but anyone aged 16 and above must have a fishing license as uniformed personnel patrol the area will check for it. The park is also home to many ducks that are remarkably unafraid of people, but be cautious while walking around the lake or on the grass to avoid stepping on duck droppings. The grassy areas are perfect for picnics, and usually after 4PM, many people jog or bike along the park's trails. A full loop around the park, or a walk by the lakes can easily help me reach over 10,000 steps per day and I really enjoy strolling around here. Restrooms: There are public restrooms within the park and they are clean. Parking: I parked along Edinger Ave but you can park inside the park. There are some good restaurants nearby in Fountain Valley Town Center. 📍 Mile Square Regional Park 16801 Euclid St, Fountain Valley, CA 92708

Easily one of the most spacious parks in Orange County. So many activities here. Great for families and parties. Running, walking, biking, swan peddle boat rentals, tandem bikes w/cover rentals (2 and 4 seaters), golfing, a small fishing area, lots of grassy areas overlooking beautiful lakes where I’ve practiced yoga and acroyoga with friends. A few bridges to walk across and enjoy the ducks and geese. A major playground was revamped. There is an archery club. Multiple basketball courts. A wedding and special events club as well. There are plenty of exercise amenities scattered throughout the park. Plenty of areas for special sporting events like soccer and baseball. There are some quaint, hidden trails to explore. Restrooms are ok. The park extends from Euclid south to Warner, then west to Brookhurst, north to Edinger, then east back to Euclid. There are some further renovations going on right now so you may see a lot of orange construction zones up.

This park is well known in the community that has everything, from Boys & Grils Club, tennis courts, basketball inside & outside courts, golf course, outdoor amphitheater, picnic areas, soccer courts, baseball courts, and so forth. Plenty of parking lots and street parking. Nearby restaurants, markets, shops, hospital and freeway. They got it all in one place. Also they do have differ fairs throughout the years and lessons too.

Lots of cool birds and small animals living here. The park is well maintained and clean, with lots of paths to go on. There are a lot of activities built into the park, like bike rentals, pedal boat rentals, archery, picnic tables, and more. $3 to park in the park’s lot, but there is street parking available outside.

Noguchi Garden, also known as California Scenario, is a compact and minimalist sculpture garden located in California. It offers a serene and zen setting that reflects the Californian landscape. The space features plant varieties from the Desert or Forest Walk, paying homage to the state's diverse flora. Stone obelisks and benches define an architecturally-influenced landscape, creating a curated space perfect for strolling, sitting, or capturing aesthetic photographs.
Just like I remembered it from 25 years ago... Well, the fountain was off but otherwise the same. Tress may have grown a little taller? 😂 It's a nice little hidden oasis in this part of town. Check it out if you get the chance. Just a stroll away across the bridge from South Coast Plaza.

Great place to take a break if you work in the area or just walk around and explore. You have to pay for parking or visit on a weekend and look for free parking. Enter the garden from the west side, between 3210 & 3200 Park Center Dr. There’s a good amount of places to sit under the shade and the architecture is interesting.

"California Scenario" is one of my favorite free little hidden gems of Orange County! Very serene, flowing water, and a variety of different plants, including cacti and redwood trees!! For over 37 seasons, Pacific Symphony has been a beacon of musical excellence, captivating audiences with its diverse performances. Under the expert guidance of music director Carl St. Clair for the past 26 years, this orchestra has delivered unforgettable experiences that resonate deeply with fans. Recently, I had the joy of attending a live performance where they played John Williams' iconic score from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" while screening the film—a truly magical experience that brought Indiana Jones to life in an exhilarating way!
We recently had the pleasure of attending a Pacific Symphony performance, where they played the iconic score of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" live while we watched the movie. It was an unforgettable experience that brought the magic of Indiana Jones to life in a way we had never experienced before. The musicians of the Pacific Symphony were absolutely phenomenal. Their performance was flawless, capturing every thrilling moment of John Williams' score with incredible precision and emotion. Hearing the music performed live added an entirely new dimension to the movie, making the action and adventure even more exhilarating. The synchronization between the orchestra and the film was perfect, enhancing the dramatic scenes and adding depth to the storytelling. It was clear that a lot of effort and rehearsal went into creating such a seamless experience, and it truly paid off. The venue was also excellent, with comfortable seating and great acoustics that allowed us to fully appreciate the rich, dynamic sounds of the symphony. The atmosphere was electric, and it was a joy to be surrounded by fellow fans of both the film and the music. Overall, the Pacific Symphony's performance was a spectacular blend of cinematic magic and musical brilliance. If you have the chance to see them play live to a film, do not miss it. This experience is a must for any movie lover or music enthusiast. Highly recommended for an evening of unforgettable entertainment!

Sound handler is terrible. They must be deaf. They overdrive the speakers causing so much distortion you can't understand the singers words or hear the subtleties of the orchestra. The high end is amplified so much the treble buzz is all you hear. An incompetent sound crew bringing down an otherwise accomplished orchestra. Not worth the money. Don't go until they get a better team.
Mark M — Google review
This place is awesome. I stopped going to church because of well being hounded for not being good enough. Here you learn and enjoy in the sun if you like with dogs. I bring a notebook to write in every time I go. They have coffee and music, baptisms once in a while, and the like. It's not well marked for the entrance and parking structure. I almost missed it. The first turn in has parking but no access to the structure. If you can't find parking the first entrance, go a little further down the road to the parking garage. And remember where you parked. I forgot and wasted some time.

I have to write a review about the Fourth of July concert in the great park this year The musicians and the Orchestra were fabulous. I want to say that upfront. HOWEVER, For some reason which escapes me, they decided to have three male singers join in. They were terrible singers, these men had the most terrible voices, especially the large man and the man in the Hawaiian shirt It was God awful. It was excruciating to listen to it ruined the whole concert. I don’t know whose idea this was but They ought to be fired

Domestic airport
John Wayne Airport is an international airport located in Orange County, offering convenience and ease of travel. The airport features a unique aviation museum within an on-site hangar. Travelers appreciate the cleanliness and manageable size of the airport, making it easy to navigate. However, it's important to note that the TSA lines can get crowded due to its smaller size. While there are limited stores and restaurants, they may close early, so travelers should plan accordingly.
I would do whatever in my power to avoid LAX. SNA, on the other hand is probably the best airport in CA. In fact, In September 2024, the J.D. Power 2024 North America Airport Satisfaction Study ranked John Wayne as the #1 large airport in North America (for airports handling 10–32.9 million passengers annually). The TSA staff is overall friendly and laid back - polar opposite of those at LAX. Bathrooms are clean and there are plenty of it. I rarely face flight delays here. Large selection of restaurants to get your vacation buzz started and kill time.
Kay L — Google review
This was a great alternative to flying into LAX. Much less busy than LAX. Still significant traffic, so leave early. They have some direct flights and have lots of connections from major hubs. The airport is easily walkable from one end to the other, but had multiple food options and other shops. We definitely liked navigating this airport better than LAX. We definitely plan to use John Wayne airport in the future.
Jim C — Google review
Flying out of John Wayne Airport was such a smooth experience! Compared to the chaos of LAX, this airport was a breath of fresh air. Returning my rental was simple and getting to the gate was no hassle at all. I was on my way to Texas and found the whole process easy and stress-free. What I like most is that the airport is small enough to navigate without feeling rushed or overwhelmed, but still big enough to handle things efficiently. It really makes travel feel less like a chore and more like a pleasant part of the journey. I’m glad this airport exists because it makes flying out of Southern California so much easier. If you want a smoother, calmer, and quicker travel option, this airport is a solid choice. Follow @joeypauga on TT, FB, YT, IG, LinkedIN and X
Joey P — Google review
I love this airport. Super casual, super easy. Casual enough that a TSA agent chatted with me about our favorite films. That’s a huge difference from the high traffic at LAX. Planes land, and they immediately pull up to the gate to deplane, like they should. If you land at ORD you might spend an hour on the tarmac, which is awful, but not at SNA! Find the John Wayne statue in terminal A by checked baggage. This airport is like one long tunnel. Super easy to navigate, without any confusion. They also had a nice guy playing piano near some restaurants! You can park right outside which is nice but they raised the prices to $30/day which is my only complaint. Highly recommend you park at Renaissance Newport Beach hotel across the street for $9.99. They have a shaker service and driver you to the airport in a nice new Tahoe. They give you a claim check to pick up your car and they pick you up at the airport when you call them. I used the Cheap airport parking site for that. Beats LAX where it feels like you’re getting arrested if your friend picks you up at the airport.
Alex — Google review
A calm and efficient airport that offers a refreshing change from the busy LAX experience. It’s compact, quiet, and rarely feels crowded, making it an excellent choice if you’re traveling to or from the Santa Ana, Irvine or greater LA area. Security and check-in are usually quick, and the gates are conveniently located just a short walk after TSA, which makes the whole process smooth and stress-free. While the airport doesn’t have a huge range of dining options, the available cafés and snack spots are decent for a quick bite before your flight. Overall, a pleasant and hassle-free airport experience , ideal for travelers who value convenience and efficiency over size and variety.
Ratnam R — Google review
First time flying out of John Wayne Airport (SNA) and it was incredibly easy. I parked in Parking A1 and easily found a spot, headed to Terminal 1 and made my way to Delta. Once checked in, it was an easy walk over to Pre-TSA check, where the line was super quick. Once I was past security, it was easy to locate my gate. I did overnight parking for the duration of my travels, which came out to $30/day (July 2025). It’s not a big airport, which is a good thing. It was calm and easy. I just wish they had restrooms at every other gate at least.
Wendy L — Google review
Great small-ish airport in the LA area. This place isn't packed like LAX. The employees and passengers are all polite. The gate seating all has chargers. There is a decent but not exceptional variety of food offerings. Even the toilet paper is quality! It could use a better variety of food. Who needs two golden arches (or even one). On this visit, there were also WAY too many bandwagon baseball fans wearing blue. UGH!

10.6.25: Fast forward 4 days and vacation is over and I'm back here to catch my flight home. In 4 days, the government shut down has begun to affect operations of airports and flights. Of course I kept checking and it kept getting delayed further. I had my fingers crossed my flight doesn't get cancelled and if it doesn't--that, I don't miss my connecting flight in Sacramento. In the end, I finally boarded my flight with just over an hour delay. I was thankful it wasn't cancelled and my connecting flight had a slight delay as well, which was in my favor. In the end, I finally made it back to Spokane before midnight. Grateful for all the airport workers, crew, TSA, flight attendants, and pilots that despite the government shut down, they continued to do their jobs and keep us safe. 10.2.25: Came here to visit friends. Deplaning and navigating to the luggage carousels was fairly easy as I followed the signs. By the time I went to the bathroom, my luggage was already on the carousel and I was out the door.

Delhi Park is a popular outdoor space with various recreational facilities, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and socializing. Recent improvements include the addition of an indoor soccer area open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. The park has become more visually appealing and is now being used for its intended purposes. However, there are concerns about safety due to the presence of homeless individuals in the park.

This park is not a safe environment for children. this park is very sketchy at best. Tons of mental health individuals will hang out at this park. Individuals there show signs of aggression when near people enjoying Park facilities. Restrooms are very sketchy and dangerous to hang around. individuals use this restroom as a drug Hotel. local law enforcement and Park City Rangers is always constantly patrolling to try to ensure the safety of guests using this park. This park is heavily vandalized through graffiti with multiple gang style graffiti on the walls. I would avoid bringing families to this park until it's cleaned up.

It would be 5 stars with all the improvements that have been done to the park but homeless people are still in the park and it's not safe for our kids. Quite literally the best meal of my life. One of those incredible experiences that you can’t wait to talk to your friends about. Gino is an incredible host and he is thoughtful in his approach to the meal he puts in front of you.
Joshua H — Google review
My friends took me here for my birthday, and overall we had a wonderful time. The chef was personable, knowledgeable, and kind. The dishes were superb honestly a little better than Hana Re and we enjoyed more than ten plates of beautifully prepared food. The reason I can’t give five stars is because as we were leaving, the chef flagged us down to ask if the service had been bad because he felt our tip was too low. I found this extremely rude and ungrateful, especially after spending $250 per person and leaving what we thought was a fair tip. It was embarrassing and uncalled for, and unfortunately it left a negative impression that outweighed an otherwise great dining experience. We will not be returning.

WOW! Best omakase sushi I have ever had! This place did not disappoint! Gino is welcoming and very efficient. He makes his own soy sauce from 6 month aged Spanish mackerel! What?!?! I left full and happy! If you love sushi and are a foodie I would highly recommend this place! Very worth the hype!

What a lovely chef, and an unbelievable meal. This was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in my entire life. The service was attentive, the food thoughtful and inspired, the atmosphere comfortable and clean. On its own, the menu was incredible. Every single plate was well-described and beautifully prepared. I may never recover. And Gino… was LOVELY. I have met many chefs, and dined in fine-dining/Michelin-quality restaurants around the world. This was a superior experience. Gino was knowledgeable, kind, and friendly in a way that is truly rare. We would have come back for the food alone, but Gino made it a memory and an experience. He also personally (and kindly) chased us down to return my purse — the food was so good that I completely forgot it. Thank you — from a couple of new Canadian transplants who felt infinitely welcomed and well-fed.

The place offers unique beers, tasty Micheladas, and vegan options. The service is fantastic, with friendly staff who make great suggestions for food and drinks.
We tried the breakfast burritos, French toast, quesadillas, pinche miraz , and lentil chili with corn bread. Everything was delicious. Cute shop with lots of eclectic items for sale including spices and organic chocolate. Definitely worth coming to if you’re visiting downtown Santa Ana.

Amazing hostess. A very friendly and warm welcome from the moment we walked in. We came to Alta Baja Market to have a brunch with our besties so the ratings may be benefiting from the company we shared. This is a market so you will find beans, spices, and a fabulous selection of Mexican wines (yes Mexico has wine regions ). The food is what I call a craft. I think the cook wants you to taste the subtle flavors and freshness. Not quite farm-to-table, but very close. She did mention flying to Mexico to pick up 300 lbs of Chiles. The chilaquiles are served in a bowl with tortillas so that you can taste the corn, the beans need a bit more salt. That seemed to be a common piece of feedback among the group. The French toast ordered by wifey was very tasty, the bread seemed to be a light egg brioche type. The corn pancakes are well-covered with oats and bananas. Overall we had a very satisfying meal.

The place is a slice of heaven! The Micheladas are fantastic. I had The Chismosa Micheladas and my wife had The Nopalito. Both were tasty and refreshing. Food was fantastic. I had chilaquilez and they were amazing. A perfect combination of spice, flavor, and seasoning. My wife had the Lady Green Chile Eggchilada. The Eggchilada was delicious, a perfect combination of cheese, spices, and flavor. The best part about the place is the service and people. Delilah and Gustavo are fantastic individuals and a pleasure to meet and chat about nothing and everything. Update: I returned after a year away and by God the place is still as good. Support local business.

Been visiting this place multiple times and that day was the first day I ever ate at this place. The store is always clean stocked up and had that aesthetic where you are at a tienda. We got the blue corn cakes, the la llorona, cafesito iced of course and their Jamaica Palmer. Food was really good. The jalapeño sauce with the sandwich was really good it basically shredded chicken reminded me of a bit of chicken tinga with the salad on the side of course. The blue corn cakes is really crispy and savory. Reminds me of a latke. It comes with a side of salsa and crema. The service is great. Your instantly greeted when you arrive and the staff is super friendly really nice folks. They also check up on you to make sure your enjoying your time and of course your food. For dessert, ordered the French pudding it’s like a French toast but better. Very buttery but melts into your palettes. It’s not too sweet but with the right amount if you get what I’m saying. If you are in the area do check them out they have plenty of seats and next time will come try out the rest of their menu

I had a pleasure of stumbling across this treasure today from organic real spices, beautiful, smelling food, authentic ingredients, as well as people, and very excited to have found this gem and to dig into this delicious bottle of wine

Didn’t think I’d find legit chilaquiles inside a market, but here we are. Red sauce had some real depth, not just heat. Staff was cool, gave me recs without being pushy. It’s part café, part shop, part hangout spot — kinda weird setup, but it works. Chill energy all around.

I love this place! The atmosphere is so calm and warm, and the food is amazing! I had the chili and cornbread and that cornbread is a must. I forgot to take a picture of my food because I ate it too fast but look at all the cute goodies you can browse and buy there!

Zoo attracts animal lovers of all ages with 350+ animals, a petting barnyard & a mini-train ride.
It just still has a while before it is complete.

in not sure why people are complaining about the Santa Ana zoo on the reviews here?

Nestled in the vibrant city of Santa Ana, right behind John Wayne Airport, the Lyon Air Museum is a treasure trove for aviation enthusiasts and history lovers alike. This captivating museum spans an impressive 30,000 square feet and showcases a remarkable collection of rare military vehicles, motorcycles, and aircraft from pivotal moments in history. Visitors can marvel at meticulously restored World War II-era planes like the iconic B-17 Flying Fortress and Douglas C-47 Skytrain.
This place is adorable. Went for an event. Planes were awesome. They had people dressed up in old military outfits who were super nice. Cars were also great. I’d definitely come for another event.

ALL 5 Stars and all bolded. I have been to many a museum both for cars and for planes. This has been one of, if not the best. I really really enjoyed my time here. It’s not overwhelming, but the collection of vehicles is just fantastic. Lots of good reading and learning as well. Highly recommend.

A great museum with some beautifully restored aircraft, some of which still fly. Plus some outstanding antique cars like a Cobra GT signed by Carroll Shelby. Great view of the active runway as well. Definitely worth a visit and very near to the passenger terminal at SNA / John Wayne.

Small but Amazing museum must visit, it cost $14 per adult and $7 for kids over 4 years (it is cheaper to buy the ticket on Groupon if you are two adults) the museum is about the history of American army through out the history of World War II, Korean War & Vietnam war and they have airplane and vehicle they have used in the wars. Went there with my 7 years old and he loved the museum where we did stay for 1 full hour

Amazing experience, the place is not too far from OC and the staff is great and very friendly, they had an event preparation on the same day we visited but it did not affect our visit, there’s a large outdoor area but we were not able to go out check all the planes they have, lots of great information and material to read, definitely a great place for ages 6 and above

🌟 The ULTIMATE Fun Spot! Sky Zone is Beyond Amazing! 🌟 I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at Sky Zone—especially during the Night Glow event—was so incredible, I had to share. This isn't just a trampoline park; it's an absolute energy factory and a must-do for anyone looking for unforgettable fun! Night Glow: The Party of the Week! If you haven't been to Night Glow, stop what you are doing and book a session now. The moment the main lights go down and the blacklights fire up, the whole park transforms into an epic neon dance party. The combination of the pulsing music, the vibrant glow-in-the-dark gear, and the sheer energy of everyone jumping is truly electric. It felt less like an outing and more like a club, but for all ages! My friends and I were absolutely exhausted in the best way possible. It's the perfect mix of high-energy fun and a unique visual experience. The Staff Makes the Difference Honestly, the energy of the park is only rivaled by the positive attitude of the people who work there. From the moment we walked in, every single employee was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The court monitors are not just there for safety (though they are excellent at that); they engage with the guests, encourage high-fives, and keep the vibe incredibly positive. Every interaction—from checking in at the front desk to grabbing a drink—was smooth and pleasant. Big shout-out to the whole team for making us feel like valued guests! Membership: Incredible Value and Zero Regrets If you plan on going even semi-regularly, the membership is the way to go. It’s easily one of the best entertainment investments I’ve made. The pricing is fantastic for how much access you get, including discounts and, most importantly, consistent access to Night Glow and other special events. It takes the stress out of planning—we just show up whenever we want, and it always feels like we're getting a huge deal. It's the kind of value that makes Sky Zone feel like a second home. In summary: Sky Zone is a clean, safe, high-energy environment staffed by genuinely great people, and the Night Glow event alone is worth the trip. If you're on the fence about the membership, jump in—you won't regret it! Shoutout to Bella and Tony we’re making this experience unforgettable

My son had his 7th birthday party here. All the kids had a lot of fun. A couple of issues I had was they weren't able to use the zip line because they didn't have the manpower and the birthday room was pretty small for the amount of people I had. Half of my party sat or stood outside. It was super hot in there, too! JJ was our host and he did a great job helping out. Overall, all the kids had a blast. Thank you.
April M — Google review
We had an amazing time at Sky Zone! Our party hosts, Rhett and Megan, were absolutely wonderful — friendly, attentive, and super helpful throughout the entire event. They made sure everything ran smoothly, from setting up the table to serving the kids and keeping the energy high. Their positive attitude really made the experience special for everyone. Thank you both for making our party so enjoyable and stress-free! Highly recommend them!

Bella was super helpful throughout our entire party. She brought the drinks exactly when the kids asked for them. She even helped us serve pizza and cake! Everything I thought that I was gonna be stressed with she lifted off of my plate. Alisa in the café helped me so much when explaining the pricing difference between extra pizzas ordered in the café and added to the party. She also helped all my girls to the bathroom when they couldn’t find them. Thank you so much to you both for helping us out so much and we will definitely be back soon!

I came here twice. Once yesterday and once a few weeks back. Both days they were closed despite my arrival being in their “regular operating hours.” They posted ads online on their new exhibitions both times, but they were closed. Last time they had a sign “will be back in 5 mins” but we waited there 15 mins.

***** WARNING TO ARTISTS ***** I participated as an artist in an OCCCA exhibition. Detailed repacking instructions for return of artwork (with photographs!) went ignored. They literally placed the framed oil painting in the box, then shoved all packing materials (including 4 form corners that should have been attached to the frame) to one end of the box, taped it shut, and called it a day. The expensive frame was severely damaged. This is shameful! Communication with exhibiting artists always comes from the Director. In this instance, nothing ever came from the Director, all communication was from someone whose title was "secretary", who ultimately handled return shipping of my now damaged painting over to an off-site person at some college down the block. DISGRACEFUL!

Nature & Parks
Santiago Park, nestled in the heart of Santa Ana, is a delightful urban oasis that offers a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. This green space boasts mature trees, expansive fields, and well-maintained walking and biking paths that invite visitors to explore its natural beauty. Families can enjoy quality time at the playground while couples find solace in nature's embrace after a long day. One standout feature of Santiago Park is its exceptional archery range, which remains free and accessible to all.
Great park, very relaxing place and great place to get in touch with nature, feels like a real woodland area that you would find in the country, yet right in the heart of the city. City does truly an amazing job of cleaning and maintaining this big park. It runs along the Santa Ana creek there are however limited restroom facilities one restroom is located across the street from the discovery cube. The next open working restroom is located in Hart Park next to the 22 fwy the total extreme opposite end of the park. Again as mentioned by others the need for bathrooms here is a real issue. Unless you don’t mind people doing that right out in public or in the bushes. I mean they are not going to soil themselves so that’s the only other alternative. Otherwise this park is amazing and I highly recommend it to families and the kids will love it. Pets too i witnessed many people walking dogs and there is room to exercise.
John S — Google review
This park is night and day difference from 4 years ago. It used to be owned by druggies and the homeless. Not anymore. The whole park is remodeled and the majority of homeless are gone. You will still get the occasional homeless or druggie walking through but the normal people outnumber them now by a lot. I walk in this park everyday and it's a beautiful area. It is constantly groomed by city workers in the morning so there is always someone there if you are a morning walker. The new playground is perfect for your little ones. Just stay aware and you'll be good to go. Easily the best park in Santa Ana and I hope it stays that way.

Surprisingly my kids liked the place although there’s not much for them there but they loved the spinning swing tge most and the old fashioned two sided swing (brought some nice memories). It seemed very nice place for joggers but I haven’t discovered the whole park though . Bottom line it’s a nice place to spend time with kids & friends. There is also a tennis courts by the way. Hope you can find it helpful. Enjoy.

I’m taking an trip down E Memory Lane to the Santiago Park in Santa Ana! It’s located near the big business of Orange County, Main Place Mall and Discovery Cube O.C. This beautiful piece of stream fed urban oasis land provides a quick getaway for the business community and families of the county seat. It’s a good sized park extended from the Santiago Creek Wildlife and Watershed natural area. It’s designed as a natural place with the amenities of a common city park. Bike riders and hikers can get a scenic passage on park trails and have a picnic at the tables on the lawn and under the trees! Lawn bowling, tennis and baseball play are provided for, with the courts and baseball field. The west end of the park is under redevelopment, including a playground, pathways and restrooms. I’ll look foreword to the opening of this new addition with an update! Parking is accessible off of E Memory Lane and Santiago Street. The outer fringes of the parking lots may by inundated with vehicular hang-out’s, tho step(s) side into the lots are usually more associated with actual park users.

A quiet park with a baseball diamond, plenty of shade, and we'll maintained by hard working landscapers. It's out of the way location, and peaceful air beckon to the serene wanderer.

Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to explore the entire park in as much as the park is undergoing substantial renovations and much of the park was fenced off during our visit. It will be beautiful when they are done working on it. My favorite part is the lawn bowling area.

Beautiful winery with expansive patios hosting views of the hills. Inside is gorgeous Mediterranean style with lounge areas. I moved to Poway a few weeks ago and I found this winery while visiting the Farmers’ market. I decided to try the place and it was the right decision. The wine is great, and there is a big variety of snacks such as cheese trays and salami. They have an outstanding customer service and it was a pleasure to visit. I definitely recommend the winery and thanks for the great time!

The wine was good, but what seems to be the regulars drive new customers away. Our dog was attacked by a customers dog that was off leash, and he immediately admitted that it was not friendly. The dog was then allowed to remain unattended even after another dog walking by was attacked within 30 minutes. This was brought up to the staff and they did nothing to remedy the situation. It seems like they would rather attend to their regular group than drive new sales. We took our business next door where food is served, families are welcome, and the dogs are nice and on leashes.

Owner allows an aggressive dog on the premises. It attacked not only my friends dog but another customers dog within 30 minutes. When brought up a "we are aware, but that's it" kind of approach was taken. Wine is pretty good, unfortunately this location isn't where you should get it at.

Centennial Park is a picturesque gem offering scenic beauty with lush landscapes, vibrant ducks, and a serene lake, making it perfect for family outings. The well-maintained playgrounds and clean picnic area make it an ideal spot for kids to play and families to relax. While mostly well-kept, there are areas that could benefit from more attention. The park also features educational centers, playing fields, ample parking, and a peaceful atmosphere.
Came for the Alltrails walking track around the lake. The park has this centralized lake, shady areas with lush green trees, seats and tables to rest/snack, restrooms, many bins for trash and recyclables. Some other features are kids' playgrounds, basketball courts and soccer fields. Do not feed the animals. A myriad of birds come with scads of litter. If you don't particularly enjoy that or the stench of algae, the lake wouldn't offer you a great experience.

Beautiful park with a lovely pond, cool skate park, lots of places to picnic.
Charles L — Google review
It's a big park with lots of grass area, but be careful because the grass area can have duck or dog poop. The plus side is it does have walking trails for a nice stroll around the park. Today the stench of the lake was extra bad. I have a cold and don't have a good sense of smell right but I was able to smell the stench of the lake, so I can assume it was bad. Today while walking there was a couple of homeless under a tarp doing not so appropriate things, before we even reached them a security car stopped to approach them and asked them to leave. It's nice to see they are patrolling and keeping the park safe for families to enjoy.
Itzel C — Google review
I'm not one to review parks very often but the stench of duck fecal matter/ammonia emanating from the pond/surrounding areas cannot be ignored. It does not look like maintenance is performed regularly here nor does it appear rules are enforced to ensure visitors don't feed the local fauna. Earlier this afternoon, I took a walk and my nostrils were assaulted by the stench no matter where I walked. It absolutely cannot be healthy to breathe in the air here for extended periods of time. Do better city of Santa Ana.

This park is dirty, neglected, and poorly maintained. Walking around the lake is disgusting—it smells like rotten water. There are homeless people doing things and using the bathrooms for illicit activities. My son trains at this park, and I don’t leave him alone for even a minute. Carl Thornton Park in Santa Ana is absolutely beautiful and family-friendly — the perfect place to celebrate a child’s birthday. I hosted my daughter’s party here, and everything went so smoothly. There’s plenty of open space for games and decorations, and the scenery with the lake in the background made for such a peaceful and pretty setting. We set up near the playground, which kept the children entertained for hours. The play areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained, and there’s a great mix of equipment for different ages. There’s also lots of shaded picnic tables, restrooms close by, and plenty of parking, which made it super convenient for guests. What I loved most was how relaxed and happy everyone felt — the park has this calm, natural vibe that makes any gathering feel special. Between the lake views, the walking trails, and the open grassy areas, it felt like the perfect blend of fun and nature. I’d definitely recommend Carl Thornton Park for family gatherings, birthday parties, or even just a sunny afternoon picnic. It’s a beautiful spot that really brings people together.

A huge lake with lots of ducks, geese, and sometimes rare, unique birds show up. Also turtles will appear every now and then, sunbathing on top of rocks or peaking their heads atop the water lol. I love the sunsets here!

Love walking in this park but after the rain it was super muddy, and areas on track and in grass areas are flooded...playground is completely flooded. I would wait until it dries before coming out or if you want to walk around wear shoes you don't care to get muddy and dirty.

Super fun movie at the park. Thank you to the City of Santa Ana Parks and Rec for hosting! The Sandlot was the cutest movie, perfect for a summer park showing!

Walkers hang out at bathrooms otherwise, nice old school BB feilds.

This park provides a haven for families seeking recreational activities and social interaction. The playground equipment offers a stimulating environment for children to expend energy and engage with their peers, fostering a sense of community among young minds. Parents, meanwhile, can find respite on nearby benches, perhaps engaging in conversation with fellow caregivers or simply enjoying a moment of tranquility while keeping a watchful eye on their offspring. The park caters to a variety of athletic pursuits. Spacious fields offer ample opportunity for basketball, handball, or impromptu games of choice. A designated workout area allows adults to maintain their own physical well-being while their children play. Additional amenities include restrooms for both genders and bleachers for comfortable spectating during organized sporting events. Overall, this park presents a well-rounded space that caters to the needs of all family members. Whether seeking social interaction, physical activity, or simply a serene escape, this venue offers something for everyone.

I stopped by today to see if it there's been any changes and not bad. The city is doing some improvements. The basketball court is getting an upgrade which looks like it's almost done. Parked looked clean. They're trying and it shows.

Nice park with good shade and tables, but not a fan of the metal slides

Nice little league park but lights are too loud.
Agustin S — Google review
It's a community friendly park. Always busy with baseball or soccer games. There are basketball and handball courts. In the summer the pool is open. The only negative aspect would be the restrooms (no doors, dirty, no soap or toilet paper).

Park
Bomo Koral Park is a charming 10-acre community park with a multi-sport playing field and a playground featuring swings. Visitors can enjoy leisurely walks around the park, taking in the pleasant surroundings and enjoying the shade provided by big trees. The park is popular for amateur soccer games and T-ball on weekends, while weekdays offer opportunities for free reign and frisbee play.
THANK YOU for a beautiful park, and no restroom needed. We are close enough to everything to find a toilet anywhere. I cannot believe are degrading this park when it’s in the middle of a city with restrooms everywhere.

Bohumil Ben “Bomo” Koral 1909 – 1981 His parents emigrated to the United States when Bomo was 1 year old. The Koral homestead was in Gloryetta on Flora Street now called Delhi. The Koral family had the first water well in the area. A graduate of Santa Ana High School. He was a well known softball player and coach of the Santa Ana Stars. Bomo was a Master Sergeant in the Army and he fought in the Battle of the Bulge receiving 2 Purple Hearts from the Ardennes counteroffensive. He was buzzed by a German buzz bomb that exploded less than 100 yards from his position. He was the team captain for the West Coast Air Force training center softball team. He was hired by the City of Santa Ana Parks and Recreation. He became the city Parks Superintendent and was responsible for many of the parks and the Stadium. He was a big supporter of Pop Warner and recreation for children. He resided in Santa Ana with his wife Mabel and son Rodney. The City of Santa Ana dedicated Bomo Koral Park and Bomo Koral Circle in honor of his memory and contributions to the citizens of Santa Ana and future generations. Rest in Peace Uncle Bomo. Gone but never forgotten.

It's a nice park overall. Great for picnics on the many rolling hills available in the grass area. It also has a well kept walking path that circles the entire park. Gets a nice afternoon breeze and is inviting due to the well maintained grass and paths. It's great for a run also!

Cute park to take Blu for a walk. Roundabout parking and park structure ideal for walks around the park. 4 stars just because there are no public restrooms. Hour visits probably the most popular. The breeze the park gets on a sunny day like today 4/25/19 is incredible. On a weekend you can typically find amateur soccer games as well as Tball in the mornings. Weekday 2pm perfect time has worked out to be a great time for free reign, frisbee play with Blu. ❤❤

Like this park, its relatively quiet & compact yet at the same time spacious. Has a nice sized field, trees to sit under, & a good blend of sun & shade.

Always clean and dog-friendly park.

I'm sad they are moving, that was the one place I shopped while at the lab. The great news is they are moving to Santa Ana which is closer to my place. If you need any books on design or art, Anthony has the best selection around
