HiroNori is a nice place to try Ramen, the place is small but it is okay for a craft taste and experience, our host was lovely and smiling always, we sat down in no time, was greeted and offered water that tasted like watermelon and lemon, it was Amazing! We ordered ramen combo with chicken and Tonkotsu, the secret is in the broth it taste very nice and delicious, an extra garlic and spicy paste was offered as well, they add 17% as a service fee (optional) but you can cancel it and pay whatever you want to support the small business. Overall experience was outstanding and we will be going back!

I went to NiroNori Craft Ramen yesterday and had a really good experience overall. The food was excellent – everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. The service was also very nice, the staff was attentive and friendly, which made the visit even more pleasant. The only thing I didn’t enjoy as much was that it felt quite noisy inside, most likely because the restaurant is a bit small. I also think it would be wonderful if there was a patio area, as it would give guests a more relaxed option to dine. Despite that, I left satisfied and would definitely consider coming back in the future.

I loveeeeee this place!! I live in san diego and was so excited to know they have one here in irvine too. When I was visiting my bf we came here for a quick lunch. The food is always amazing and service was quick as well. We were seated right away, no wait. There is plenty of parking in the lot. Food review: Chicken karaage: (5/5) YUM. Cooked perfectly and super juicy and tender. The dipping sauce it comes with is tasty! Tonkotsu ramen: (5/5) The noodles are my favorite here. The broth is also so flavorful and delicious. I got an extra egg as well. Crispy tuna: (5/5) Delicious! The rice wasn't overly crispy like some places. Super yummy spicy tuna as well and nice sized slice of avo on top.

After a long day, I figured I would finally try another Ramen place. This was close to my hotel, so here we are. The last time I had real Ramen was at Ichiran in Yokyo, so it may not be a fair evaluation. Ultimately, HiroNori was decent. I had the Shoyu with a side of crispy rice with spicy tuna, and mochi ice cream. The side was my favorite part of the meal. A little wasabi with it and would have been hard to beat. As for the Ramen, I think I would focus more on dried seasonings than the sauces for added spice and flavor. The mocha ice cream looked amazing, and just could have used some flavor. The service was good. The wait staff was attentive and courteous. The atmosphere depends on what you like. This place was small and seats a total of about 36 people at once. All hard surfaces and a mostly younger crowd made it a loud place. I wore noise canceling earbuds to make it more comfortable for me. Personally I thought it was too loud. The food was appropriately priced.

Ramen was smooth,not salty,meat was tender, broccolini was cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend. The noodles were a little overcooked.

I arrived on a school night at 5:30p solo and Kayla was great, seated me right away. My ramen was served quickly and it was delicious. Although I ordered the fried chicken which never appeared, good ramen shop.

One of the best ramen spots in OC! The tonkotsu broth is rich and flavorful. Chashu is flavorful and soft. Staff is friendly and efficient. Karaage is crispy, juicy, and delicious. It’s not covered in thick batter as well.

The restaurant from the outside is beautiful, from the inside it almost felt like a restaurant at an all-inclusive hotel. It is still beautiful, it’s just not an intimate Italian restaurant feeling. The service was excellent, our waters were refilled continuously. The server was very welcoming and friendly. They brought bread and it was warm, which is definitely a plus. The pasta was good, and the food came out fairly quickly. I recommend the chicken Parmesan, it was really good. I was disappointed with the tiramisu, it was not great and would not recommend it. Overall it’s a good option for an Italian dinner in Irvine, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend for a special occasion.

I had a decent experience overall. The service was great—super friendly and on top of everything, which really made the visit feel welcoming. I've heard a lot of great things about this place, so I've been wanting to try it for a while. I finally got the chance yesterday, but overall, it didn't live up to the hype—nothing was particularly amazing except for the service. The staff were fantastic; their attentiveness and friendliness made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. However, the food was just mediocre Italian fare. I might have chosen the wrong dish—a Fusilli Salmon Fillet—which didn't impress me at all. It lacked the flavor and excitement I was hoping for. Would I come back? Maybe, especially if I'm in the mood for solid service, but I definitely won't be craving it or rushing to return anytime soon. If you're going, I'd suggest exploring the menu more carefully or asking for recommendations.

This was voted best for a reason! Everything on this menu was delicious. The calamari. The zuppa was stunning! Great service. Great drinks. Great food. You could relax here with some cocktails and enjoy your afternoon! Great for a date night!

Their pasta and pizza are all good. Rigatoni all pasta and seafood pasta un the pictures were really good. It would be good start if you dont know what to order. Calamari was also good.

I went to Il Fornaio in Irvine and ordered Fusilloni with Salmon. The salmon was tasteless and seemed burnt (photo attached). The pasta was overcooked and didn't taste good to me. I also ordered Vulcano, which was great. I loved it. I noticed an area where they cut bread, and I saw the waiter cutting bread and putting it in bags with bare hands, without gloves. This happened multiple times, which I didn't like. I don't think I'll ever eat bread from there again. Overall, the dessert was good. If I come back, I'll only come for the dessert.

I recently visited Cucina at Spectrum Irvine for a girls’ hangout, and it was a delightful experience! The vibe is fantastic, and I’d rate the ambiance a solid 5/5. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming. 💌They quickly seated us, and our server was friendly, polite, and provided excellent explanations about the dishes, especially considering my garlic allergy. He ensured I was aware of which items contained garlic, which was very thoughtful. 🍕We ordered a Margarita pizza, shrimp pasta, a berry dip, Brussels sprouts, and a sparkling rosé. 🧑‍🍳The food arrived promptly, and the service was impeccable. Our server checked in multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed and kept our water glasses full. 🚻The restroom was spotless, which added to the positive experience. ⚠️One area for improvement would be offering a simplified menu for those with dietary restrictions like garlic or gluten allergies. Despite this, the overall experience was outstanding, and I’d highly recommend Cucina. Don’t miss their beautiful wine rack, I’ll share a photo! Pretty standard Italian restaurant serving up delicious plates, flatbread and salads. Selections are a bit limited but the dishes are tasty. We ordered a shrimp pasta dish where the shrimp were undercooked and raw. The waiter promptly addressed this which we appreciated. Overall reasonably priced. Large selection of wines which you can purchase bottles to take home. For lunch, there didn’t seem to be a need for making a reservation.

This is my go-to Italian place in the OC. Service is always excellent and food is generally pretty good. Their outdoor seating area has a really nice vibe with string lights, olive tree, and couch pillows. Indoor decor is also hip and interesting. I recommend getting a reservation because it can get quite busy during dinner time. I've had all their appetizers and pasta dishes. If I lived closer, I'd come here weekly.

I loved spending a relaxing Sunday evening here. The octopus appetizer was especially delicious — that’s actually why I came back! The other dishes were not too salty and tasted clean and well-balanced. Everything was just great!

Our group chose Cucina Enoteca for our dinner get together. The restaurant is located at Irvine Spectrum right next to Tender Greens. It gets super busy on weekends but, we didn't have any issues with the parking. Upon arriving, the friendly hostess informed us that our table would be ready shortly. We waited for about 15 minutes before being seated. Our server was attentive and pleasant. The food exceeded our expectations. We ordered some pasta and pizza dishes. For starters, we had the chopped salad (family style) and the parmesan truffle fries. We enjoyed both the appetizers. For entrees, we tried the pepperoni pizza and rigatoni amatriciana. Both entrees were flavorful. The pasta dish was our fave. The rigatoni was al dente and sauce was delicious. The service and food were excellent. We would dine here again!

Went her with some friends with the birthday girl, good service with nice ambience and good food. We all had different food to share, it does get busy and we waited about 10-15 minutes to be seated, overall great experience pretty worth it for the wait. They have good selection for drinks/wine as well

Food was so good! Arrived promptly. Pretty big portions. All their sauces tasted unique, not like a visit to Olive Garden. Mushroom pizza delicious. Grilled octopus very tender and flavorful. Got a table quickly and not rushed through any of it.

A few of us stopped for an early evening dinner on a Wednesday. We had reservations and were greeted and seated quickly, our server had great recommendations, impeccable timing and a great personality 🙏 Our drink orders came quickly which nice after a long day☺️. Our food was delicious, the Charred Spanish Octopus and the tuna tartar are absolutely irresistible if you are a seafood lover. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Great fine dining! Expensive but really good food. The calamari appetizer is good, the Chilean sea bass and the steaks are all good. We also got the chocolate soufflé. The soufflé is not very sweet but order early if you want it, it takes 30 mins to come out.

This was our first time here. The atmosphere was nice. Our waiter was friendly but not around very much to see how everything was. The food was average, bu the Chilean sea bass was very good. The thing I didn't like was having soap residue in my coffee cup. I'm surprised the waiter even served it like that. That put a damper on the evening. I doubt we will be back.

Restaurant inside an office building with live music. Food was ok. Waitstaff was kind and attentive. Rock Band was not too loud. Overall a good experience.

In town for wedding and had rehearsal dinner here. Stay is super, food good and there is a lot of space! Also, live entertainment.

We had a party of 5 and asked to sit outside to listen to the music... a jazz group led by Joey Sellers. When we ordered a couple appetizers, our menus were taken away. After the food was brought to the table, we were not offered any further service. After waiting and waiting, we had to flag someone down to order more food and drinks. The food was mostly good (not great). Nice wine. Decent cocktails. The charcuterie plate (priced at $39 and supposedly for 2), did have 3 nice cheeses and 3 meat choices but only had a couple small pieces of toasted bread and a large bunch of overripe grapes in the center that included mushy and moldy fruit. It was beautiful weather to be outside, the music was lovely, and we would have stayed longer and ordered more, but the experience was disappointing due to poor service and mold, and we just wanted to leave. I realize it was a Monday, but I expected better of this place.

Their food is authentic! Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared, bursting with fresh ingredients and rich flavors. Tempura don ($15) and California roll ($7.50) with fresh salad and miso soup. Quick wait time (~10mins) at 7PM on a weekday. All orders are placed to-go but tables are open if you want to eat there. Food exceeded expectations for the price, tempura veggies especially. Friendly staff. Would visit again!

I was recommended from a friend who lives in the Irvine area to come try Fukada for a meal and it did not disappoint! The prices are reasonable and the food quality and portion sizes were amazing. Just a heads up, I recommend calling ahead to confirm the price, as prices are different in-store from Yelp! I got the Noodle Combination, which consisted of Tanuki Udon and the Spicy Tuna Don. It came with a bowl of freshly made udon that was so chewy, and it came with crunchy tempura flakes that added to. The broth was so clean and flavorful too. The Spicy Tuna Don did not disappoint either. It's prepared the day of and I could tell; the tuna was so fresh and had just the right amount of spice, and it came with a decently sized portion of rice with it. I was so full but luckily all of the food come in to-go containers so it was easy to take home and enjoy the next day. If you're ever in the Irvine area, I highly recommend stopping by Fukada! Parking is really easy and the restaurant is very clean! I'll be sure to stop by again when I'm in Irvine!

$8 Udon in Irvine, heck yes!!! My husband took me here cause he used to go frequently when he lived in the area. It was delicious!! There is plenty of parking, dine in can happen if you are ok with take out bowls and utensils (due to a shortage of employees, they cannot serve anyone like a restaurant), and there is water available. I ordered the simple udon with tempura flakes that included spinach and it was amazing! The best part was how affordable it was!! I tried my husband’s warm soba noodle soup and egg and chicken with rice. It was all so good!! Would definitely come back here and recommend it to many! It’s just a shame that so much dine in plastic containers are being used and wasted.

Counter service. Very good quick donburi, noodles and rolls with authentic Japanese flavors. Dashi/broth is very good. Sushi is not fancy, but is quality ingredients. Service is very thoughtful and they are very quick in preparation. Highly recommended.

I lived in Tokyo for three years so I was searching for good Japanese food. Fukada delivered! I went before they opened on a weekday and joined the queue of people waiting. I sat at the bar and ordered gyoza and katsudon. The katsudon came with a salad and miso soup, which is a great deal. Everything was delicious! I went back another day for dinner around 6pm and was seated immediately. I tried the oyakodon that time and it was also very good, though I prefer the katsudon. This place is going to be a regular spot for me!

I came here for the first time with my family for Father's Day and had a great experience. Our server, Ashley, was incredibly kind, attentive, and had such a welcoming smile - she really made the day feel special. Kudos to the chefs as well. You can tell they really know their craft. Everything tasted fantastic!

Houston’s in Irvine is a fantastic spot for a high-quality meal. The French dip sandwich was a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it, the beef was incredibly tender and the bread had a perfect texture: soft on the inside with a satisfying crust. You can tell they care about every detail. The drinks were well-made and balanced, adding to the great experience. Parking is super convenient, which is rare and really appreciated in this area. Service was professional and welcoming.

Houston’s offers a very cozy, classic American-style dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual night out. I tried the cheeseburger, which was excellent — the beef was clearly premium and cooked perfectly. My only minor complaint is that it was a bit overstuffed, making it a little messy to eat. I also had the barbecue ribs, which were savory, tender, and well cooked, though they came with a bit too much barbecue sauce for my taste. Overall, the food is flavorful but tends to be heavy on sauces and seasoning. Still, it’s a great spot with delicious dishes and a comfortable vibe.

The flavor of my steak was amazing. The service was great friendly staff. I recommend making reservations ahead of time because this place does get packed.And the parking gets difficult as the hours go into the evening. They offer free parking around the corner from the resturants. Next time I will try their sushi. I will be back.

Due to its location in a more hoity-toity area of Southern California, this Houston's location attracts a lot of "see and be seen" types as well as the "ladies who lunch." Never in my life have I seen more designer handbags, clothes, and shoes than I have at this restaurant (not to mention plastic surgeries, LOL). That being said, I've never felt out of place in my Chucks and Kohl's jeans. This Houston's offers plenty of free parking, which is one of the major pluses of dining here! They also accept reservations, which I highly recommend. Otherwise, you could be facing upwards of a 90 minute (or longer!) wait at busy times. I usually eat here during lunch, and it's just as crowded as it is at dinnertime. As with other locations, the service here is top notch. Professional, efficient, and welcoming, I've always been pleased with our servers. My go-to menu items are the cheese toast appetizer and the house made veggie burger. Both are excellent (and pricey), but worth it. The cheese toast isn't really big enough to share (I could eat the entire plate myself), but it's high quality. Nice, melty cheese on crunchy bites of toast...you can't go wrong. The veggie burger is one of the best in the world. It's made with beets, so it "bleeds" when you cut it. This gives it the appearance of a big, juicy burger although its made from vegetables. I'm not sure the exact ingredients, but it looks like it has oats, rice, sweet potatoes, and other good stuff. I love to get broccoli as my side, and I feel like I have a very healthy meal. I usually take half to go because it's a large portion and, considering the high quality of the ingredients, it's more than satisfying! The menu is filled with so many yummy sounding things, and I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order. Budget around $80 for a nice lunch for two without booze.

Our favorite stop when landing at John Wayne airport. A great place where you can enjoy delicious clam chowder, amazing beef dip and fresh nigiri! YUM! All service staff was as they should be-friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Another wonderful experience, thanks!

I like this place, its nice for a casual lunch or dinner. All the offerings are just wonderfully executed. We liked the artichoke, filet mignon, and the salmon. The salads were executed well but we thought they had too much dressing on them. The servers are all very knowledgeable and kept our water glasses full.

We had a great dining experience at Cha Cha Latin Kitchen. The food was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service was warm, attentive, and made the evening feel special. One thing I didn’t quite appreciate, though — I asked for my enchilada to be made spicy, and they added about 5–6 thin slices of Serrano chili, then charged extra for it. That felt unnecessary, especially with a bill crossing $100 for two people. Still, overall, the food and service were excellent, and I’d definitely return — just with clearer expectations next time.

Reservations highly encouraged. We arrived earlier than our reservation time but were seated quickly. Excellent customer service. Wait staff were constantly checking in and asking if we needed anything else. Mushroom tacos, chicharrones, and halibut were delicious. Drinks were good too and they modified the spice level since I can't handle spiciness 😅 Nice atmosphere, especially, the patio on a Friday evening.

Fantastic Mexican restaurant! The food is delicious, authentic, and full of flavor. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the service is excellent. If you’re in Irvine, CA, don’t miss the chance to enjoy some truly amazing Mexican cuisine.

I went during Happy Hour. It’s a nice place and the service was good but I think that $4.50 a taco for slightly larger than street-size tacos and $6 draft beer and $11 margaritas is really not that good of a deal. The food itself was fine but not really that remarkable. I got a carne asada, carnitas, and fish tacos. The carne asada was good. But the carnitas was a little dry and the fish just had sour cream and cabbage on it. If it was either a better deal or the food was a little better I would consider coming back, but I just don’t feel like I got my money’s worth.

Taco Tuesday! I had one short rib taco and a shrimp taco. The margaritas were yummy too! Our server Paige was great. She was friendly and attentive.

The bread with cheese was amazing, the pizza was good, the rest was ok. We unfortunately had one of your orders being very much delayed that it come everyone had almost finished their plates ( sharing). They did apologieze and tried to make it right to be honest but it affected the experience nonetheless.

We visited for the first time after seeing an ad for a $25 entrée and small plate deal, which seemed like a great offer given their usual prices. After reserving a table through the ad, we chose to sit at the bar upon arrival and learned the special was lunch only, something not stated in the ad, which even allowed dinner reservations. Management graciously honored the deal, and the bartenders were wonderful. The restaurant can get quite loud but has a beautiful ambiance. The meatballs were excellent, and my husband said the Caesar salad was the best he’s ever had. The bolognese had an oddly sweet flavor, and we didn’t love the sausage in the vodka rigatoni. Unfortunately, several items we wanted to try (like the Zuca chips, espresso martini, and tortelloni) were unavailable that evening. Due to the high pricing, sold-out menu items, and the mix-up with the ad, we’ll likely skip returning, but it’s a nice spot that’s worth trying at least once.

Five stars for atmosphere, service, being genuinely big dog friendly and your pizza; OMG, the pizza! Ironically, I'd stopped by on a recommendation of the meatballs. I was surprised that I didn't want to finish the first one; unpleasantly dry. That said, the completely shaded outdoor patio had close captioned TVs or gorgeous foliage. It masks the sound and sight line of urban development. Really well done. Also need to rave about their pizza! Great ratio, crust, char, flavor - it was really that great.

Unfortunately, our experience at North Italia was quite disappointing. The four pastas we ordered were all overcooked, particularly the pesto pasta. The mussels were also overdone and shriveled. On top of that, two dishes we had been looking forward to (the pork Milanese and the squid ink pasta) had run out! Despite having a reservation, we waited a long time to be seated…While I did enjoy the cocktails, the food quality fell short. Service was also very slow, though to be fair, there was only one server covering the entire outdoor patio. Overall, the drinks were nice, but the food and service did not meet expectations.

The inside is quite noisy due to the extra tall hall; but other than that echoing, it was amazing. The kitchen is open concept, with plexiglass windows, so it's super food safe, and excellently maintained and clean environment. The service was amazing and our waitress, Monica, was an absolute joy. I know how hard this job can be, so they must be well-compensated considering the prices. They are a bit on the expensive side, but it's handmade noodles and the food is SUPER fresh. The Bombolone is REQUIRED; you'll never eat another donut the same way again.

It had been a long time since our last dining here. It was great to be back with friends. The food was fantastic as I remembered although they are somewhat new now. Too bad that they no longer served the grilled artichokes. They were the best grilled artichokes that I have had at anywhere else. 1. Classico charcuterie: good variety selections to munch and mingle. 2. Prosciutto Bruschetta: light, refreshing. 3. Calamari Fritti: it was coated with a wet batter and fried, not thick so it was light and very crispy. The calamari was cooked perfectly without dry or rubbery. Very good! 4. Tuscan Kale: very fresh, crunchy, tender instead of chewy for typical kale, well balanced with sweet and citrusy, not so oily compared to other restaurants. 5. Lasagna Bianca: its a white lasagna, very tasty with delicious shortribs. The shortribs were packed with flavors but still shined with the meat flavor and super tender, yet not overpowered with herbs and not salty. I would prefer abit more lasagna layers to balance with the shortribs quantity. 6. Squid Ink Tonnarelli: my prejudice perception against squid ink pasta was leaving stains on your teeth for awhile and can be fishy. However, my friend gave me a taste so I was blown away how it was prepared and tasted. Delicious, well balanced of tastes and flavors, not fishy nor ink stains on my friend's teeth. Pasta was cooked perfectly, neither too al dente nor soft. I would order this myself next visit. 7. Roasted Salmon: it was my dish. The salmon was cooked abit more done than "medium" but was not totally dry. The fregola pasta was cooked perfectly. Presto was good but not "fresh" and robust like the fresh pesto from Genoa. My only complaint was the whole dish sat on a puddle of oil. I would scale back the pesto voo, not making it oily, instead drizzle the pesto essence around the plate. 8. Grilled Branzino: another friend gave me a sample. It was good and looked "healthy". Beautiful presentation. 9. Braised Short Rib Marsala: another amazing dish. The shortrib was a bit hunk, so tender and flavorful. The meat flavor shined thru, neither salty nor overpowered with herbs and red wine richness. Truffle risotto was delicious, not so interfering with the shortrib, creamy but not too al dente. The whole dish was a star. 10. Chicken Parmesan: another prejudice of mine but this dish blew me away. The chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly, tender and juicy. The coating was crispy but didn't seem heavy. The cheeses topping was just right with tomato sauce. The tasty rigatoni with white sauce went so well with the chicken Parmesan. Very impressed. 11. Bombolini: was delicious, pillowy with robust Myer lemon cream, perfectly paired with Blueberry coulis. 12. Seasonal Butter Cake: another delicious cake with crunchy coconut flakes. Not too sweet and didn't appear like a sponge soaked with butter. 12. Hazelnut Torta: it was a well balanced "Nutella" torta, neither too sweet nor dense. Satisfying sweet tooth but not feeling with guilty pleasures. The service was pretty good overall. Simone was awesome. She and staff replaced whether wine glasses or small plates or silverware occasionally. Attentively. It was a great experience for all of us. Delicious food for bucks, and great vibes for a dineout. Definitely will be back when getting a chance but not waiting so long...

This restaurant serves really good food—honestly, the dishes are excellent. The atmosphere is truly magnificent, even spectacular. As for the staff, I’d rate them 9 out of 10. They’re professional overall, although occasionally they might show a bit of attitude. Still, I genuinely like this place. The ambiance is great, the team is generally professional, and I really have no major complaints. And of course, the food is consistently delicious.

we had lunch at Siam Station – Thai Street Foods. The food was flavorful and authentic. The mushroom soup was light yet aromatic, with a nice balance of herbs and spices – perfect as a starter. The pad noodle was savory and satisfying, with just the right amount of sauce and a nice smoky wok flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and casual, and the service was fast and friendly. A great spot for a tasty and quick Thai lunch!

Not sure why this place has lower reviews since this is one of my favorite thai places. The pineapple fried rice is so good and the khao soi was also really good. Apparently the satay was kinda bland and dry but i didn’t try it. Mango sticky rice is also so good and pretty too! One of my favorite places to go in Irvine. And service was good too and servers were nice

Great place for thai food. I love the crab fried rice and especially the mango sticky rice. Everything else is mediocre to me. Service: its regular, nothing much to be expected. Ambiance: tight space and lots of time I have to seat outside.

This place is above average for Thai food. Theres just nothing really special about the dishes. Even if you ask for very spicy they give you something that maybe a white person would brake a sweat eating but it just barley tickles my tongue. The food is also about 60% too sweet. Real thai food doesn't taste like it has this much sugar inside it. Overall if you're not expecting real thai food and are okay with the american version of it then this place is good for that.

My best friend and I dined here right at opening time on the weekend. We ordered pad sea ew, papaya salad, and this crossaint curry dish. The last one was my favorite. The pad dish was too sweet for my caliber! I had to add alot of fish sauce to balance it out. The papaya salad lacked flavor and spice. Pricing was fair and service was rather quick. Overall, I am not compelled to come back here.

Siam Station is a popular destination for Thai food. The food is very good. Depending on what location you go to the atmosphere is better than other locations. Service is always great and so is the food. I would recommend this place hands down.

We were looking forward to try their food based on the other people reviews. We ordered almost $80 of take out - Egg Rolls, Chicken Satay, Pineapple Fried Rice, Pad Thai and Crispy RO-TI (dessert) and requested extra Peanut sauce for Satay and sweet chili sauce for egg rolls. After spending that much for just 2 apps, 2 simple entrees and a very simple dessert, we were pretty disappointed when they wanted to charge more for extra Peanut sauce... They did provide "extra" chili sauce though in a tiniest (1oz) ramekin (pictured) ever. They made it sounds like it was the biggest favor there was...lol So, their "customer service" doesn't appear to be customer oriented at all... We get it, everything cost $$, especially in our state and it's extremely difficult to run a restaurant... but common... Also, their food tasted subpar at best and had no flavor... Best part about was dessert - Crispy RO-TI. Otherwise we would've giving it a 1 star for food. We're extremely dissatisfied with the taste of the food and service for the amount spent. We don't recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

The pastries and drinks are solid, no complaints about the quality. But the experience can be frustrating. There’s usually only one cashier, the line is long, and having to order drinks separately at the kiosk just slows everything down. Bathrooms are also in need of attention. Good food, but the overall experience could be much better.

The space is clean and convenient, but I was surprised by the limited variety. The same breads were displayed on multiple trays, which made it feel repetitive. It seemed like they were trying to make it look full, but there were not many different options to choose from. It was especially disappointing not to see my favorite, Taiwanese Scallion Bread. I often find it In Summery Bakery. If you’re in the area and want something quick, it’s fine. But if you’re looking for a wide selection or something new to try, it might fall short.

I've been a fan of this place for almost a decade now. Service is great and everything in their menu is good. A lot of times, I don't even know what I am getting but being that everything I have tried there is good, I end up trying all these "new" stuff, and I have never been disappointed. I live hours away from this bakery, but that has never stopped me . I would either order online, or when I do have to go to OC, I would buy in bulk and just freeze them. Prices are affordable - "surprising" considering they look, and taste like they should cost more.

85°C Bakery always hits the spot if you’re craving fresh, tasty pastries and drinks. Their sea salt coffee is a must-try, and the breads and cakes are soft, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The variety is amazing — from savory to sweet, there’s something for everyone. Only downside is that it can get crowded, especially on weekends, and sometimes popular items run out quickly. But overall, it’s worth the wait if you go at the right time!

Product is amazing, but service is really bad, also any coffee is about 5 dollars and now they only put half of the cup, they should charge also half of the price, idk if is just my coffee, caramel machiato, but always only half of the cup gets fill. And i didn't have a zip before this picture, so mad at this people, besides not everyone follows the recipe, each time taste different...

I genuinely love this place. Delicious bread, great drinks, but I'm writing the review because my family and I are always so excited when they bring back their cinnamon rolls. It's a yearly tradition at this point- but this year they changed them to include walnuts. They're unfortunately very gritty and have a different, bitter taste to their filling. Hopefully, they bring back the classic, because these new ones are so unpleasant we threw them out.

The atmosphere on the patio was great! While you stuff your face with delicious food, you get to watch gym goers come and go hahaha. Our server was attentive and quick. The food was awesome and served hot. Definitely would go back.

This place has me torn. I've been to this place twice and my first experience was everything I wanted. A restaurant experience to be. The food was amazing. The decor was amazing. Design of the restaurant. The service was on point. Everything was great. Then I came back here and everything was horrible. The food came out late. The service was horrible even when I tried to say something. Well that's not us. It was just horrible and then the food wasn't as good. Everything was just bad and so I'm over this place. I would not recommend it

I've been wanting to come here for some time and tonight was it. Parking was easy and 3 hour validation at restaurant. The place is decorated very dark wood and low lighting and I loved it. The service was friendly and helpful to select the right item. She recommended for me the Boss Lady as I told her I like sweet whiskey and it was perfect. We started with the country bread and it was so freakin good. If you love garlic, then you need to try it. For my main I had the prime rib sandwich with cheese and it was one of the best I've had. Thick slices of meat and the au jus sauce was perfect. For dessert I had the apple pie and it did not disappoint. It not cheap but so worth it for those special occasions.

Kelsey was our server for the early lunch hour. I had a party of three. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the fresh air and breeze. I had the KC Chicken meatballs, my sister had the burger smashies and my nephew had the garden salad with chicken. We all enjoyed our meals. On this hot summer day we decided to skip the cocktails. This is a chill place to watch a sports game or to meet up with friends. This restaurant plays some of the best rock ‘n’ roll from the 70’s and 80’s. Be sure to get your parking validated.

Loved the vibe here—it’s a fun indoor-outdoor space with a great mix of cocktails, beer, and wine. The service was a bit slow due to our waiter manning the old fashion made table side station. The happy hour menu is a steal, with options like short rib grilled cheese, fried pickles, and burgers all under $10. We started with the tuna lettuce wraps, which looked promising but ended up falling flat flavor-wise. Thankfully, the entrees more than made up for it—the burger “chef’s way” was massive, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the prime rib sandwich was rich, buttery, and perfectly tender. I’d absolutely come back for happy hour and have my eye on the spicy chicken sandwich next time.

We had a large group and the service was incredible! We had a small menu because of the size of the group, but it offered so many options, everyone had something they loved. The avocado toast and brussel sprouts (appetizers) were incredible!! If you like crispy brussel sprouts, you will go crazy for these ones!! It was a fun experience and the speedy service did not disappoint!!!

Well. Reservation was honored immediately, which is awesome. Sat on the patio on a Friday evening. Busy but not overwhelmingly. Irwin our server gave us the full intro with specials and recs. Very friendly and brought out items as requested and missed nothing. So that was lovely. As for the drinks. Wouldn’t ya know shocked me with the full cucumber flavor with a hint of sweet. What a perfect blend of these flavors. This drink was second to the first place winner of the night which was the friggin pork chop! Thankfully we did family style because I got the sugar barrel steak mid rare. Banana pudding at the end fed the whole table. 1st place that pork chop plate. 2nd the cucumber cocktail. 3rd sugar barrel steak. Other plates were still great but those were the runaways. Grilled fish was everyone else’s favorite but who cares what they think. Espresso martini was nice as was the country bread with the ranch butter. Really wasn’t wow’d by the ahi tuna or the pork belly or the mushroom fingers. Still good, don’t get me wrong…but I would try other items before returning to those. Cooked great, presentation great. Just not my gig. I would describe the atmosphere as a dramatic, moody, mellow vibe with glowing lights. Felt intimidate even though tables surrounded you.

This restaurant is so pretty. Makes a great date night spot or hang out with a group of friends. On this particular night, our service was a bit slow. We were almost done with our appetizers before the server even took our entree orders. He didn't refill drinks unless we asked and the kids meals came with ice cream but he wrapped up our meal, gave us our check, and completely forgot to offer the kids at our table their dessert that was already paid for. By this point, we had been here for quite some time already, so we decided to just leave. I also enjoyed the appetizers more than the entrees. The appetizers were super flavorful. The burger was on the blan side, the ribs also were just Okay. In general, the food is not bad, it might have just been an off night. My biggest complaints are the timeliness of the ordering and also the missing desserts.

We went for dinner and decided to take advantage of the happy hour, which turned out to be a great choice. The prices were very reasonable, and the drinks were excellent. I highly recommend the raspberry martini (I believe that’s what it was called) — it was definitely a standout. The seating was also quite comfortable, which added to the overall relaxed vibe. As for the food, the deviled eggs were outstanding — full of flavor and perfectly prepared. However, the calamari was a bit of a letdown. It was undercooked and far too tough, so there's definitely room for improvement in that area. Overall, it was a great experience with excellent service, solid happy hour offerings, and a nice setting — though the food could use a little more consistency.

Had dinner with a work colleague at Paul Martin's in Irvine and we were both impressed. We both had the 12oz Ribeye Steak and it was delicious, as was the mashed potatoes, Brussels and asparagus. Service (from Amber) was excellent and the ambience in the restaurant was pleasant. Cost with a starter was around $85 per person.

Came with family for dinner, ordered two different steaks, salad, starters. Filet mignon, mashed potatoes and vegetable house salad were wonderful, everything was tasty and fresh. There were very few visitors. Service was excellent

Every time I'm in Irvive, CA for business of pleasure, I always have dinner at this Paul Martin's American grill because this place never disappoints! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the signature Brick Chicken dish! I have eaten here for years and it is consistently amazing! The atmosphere and service is top notch. This trip I actually ate here twice and Alex in the bar area took great care of me both nights for dinner. Definitely a must if you are in the area looking for a great place to eat :-).

The best pizza I have ever eaten! Burrata, slices of truffles, prosciutto, arugula, and cherry tomatoes piled onto a perfectly textured pizza dough. Everything was delicious. Great service and ambience.

Overall experience was not good. Probably the first time I’m compelled to give a review like this. We ordered 3 things. One was good. Two were okay. The service was not good. The lady who served us probably had a bad day. I literally would get up walk to them to ask for things. They barely wanted to educate us on the menu. Recommendations were off, the pricing was further off because of the recommendations. We were charged like $16 for a substitution. We were excited since this was in our neighborhood but I don’t think we will be motivated to go there again. The price and the overall experience did not make sense.

Had a dinner with work colleagues. Decent food and nice ambience; the service was mediocre as it was extremely difficult to get hold of our server or any other staff for that matter when we needed help ordering refills of water, additional drinks or dishes. Five staffs simply ignored our moderately voiced “excuse me” and our hands raised to catch their attention. At one point, finally, a female server or staff had stopped by us, but when asked we just wanted to order another bottle of wine, instead of taking the order, she went away and continued on doing her own tasks, we presume. For the amount of money we spent, definitely not a recommendable place in terms of service. Food was average, btw. Will likely revisit if one of the colleagues reserves a table due to the proximity of the place from work, but not due to it being anywhere near my favourite, personally.

Very nice place with live music. It serves pasta and Napoli style pizza. I enjoyed the pasta, however for the pizza, it was not as good as when I first visited. Pizza is a bit light on cheese and tomato sauce, so it tasted a bit bland.

The male server with blue eyes and slightly blond hair was very kind and attentive. However, overall, the food was tailored too much to the American palate and cannot truly be called authentic Italian. The dishes felt overpriced for the quality. The prosciutto on the pizza was tough and lacked harmony in flavor, and the pasta in the Vongole was a poor match, leaving me very disappointed. I ended up leaving a significant amount of food uneaten and did not take it to go.

My first visit to this incredible place. I was impressed with the amazingly delicious flavors they offer on there food plates. Especially the spaghetti and meatballs so full of natural flavors. Definitely I will return many times there menu is a large one.

We got there right as they opened. Service was friendly but took food a while to come out. Everything was tasty, fresh and plated well. Gyozas were a bit smaller than expected and waffle fries tasted of old oil, though crispy. The side of rice was mushy and definitely day old. But LocoMoco was yum and gogi sliders were very meaty! Edamame was uniquely flavored with lots of garlic but a bit too oily. Perhaps when things are back to normal and enough servers working, total service will be back up to par with quality of food!

The food is okay, it's a good fusion spot. The Korean/Mexican play-on-class dishes like tacos, Esquites, and Tteok-bokki are delicious. My only complaint was if you wanted to pay by card you had to spend over $50. That's fine, so now I'm looking for ways to hit $50. I noticed the soju and asked for it. I was never told the price or shown a menu for the liquor so I assumed it would be $9-$11, the usual markup. I had no idea it was $14+ a bottle! I have the same case in my fridge (6 for $27). That's one hell of a markup.

The food tasted delicious, the pink lemonade not so much. The service was great and they tried to be nice and attentive. The location started to get very packed right after we sat down and it was a nice atmosphere. The person I was with finished eating and while I was still eating they asked if I wanted a box, I felt pressured and said yes please because I could tell they kind of were busy and expecting more people, possibly wanting us out. It was a decent experience, just wish I wasn't rushed out.

Mixed review on this restaurant. Good and attentive service. Chorizo Kimchee fried rice looked good but lacks flavor. Signature Tacos ( street taco size) with gogi was tasty and good.

Good food, and good ingredients. We had the Pork Belly Tacos, Street Corn, and Chorizo Kimchi Fried Rice Skillet. The street corn could have used cotija or similar dry cheese like parmesan. The pork belly needed a bit more salt to be amazing, but there were no salt/soy sauce packets readily available.

Good service... I didn't like the chicken sandwich, the fried chicken patty gave did taste fresh, some sauce or seasoning did not go well with my tummy. Tofu taco was good. Fries as well.

Delicious paella, sweet plantains, and wine. A lovely place to go to for birthdays, Valentine’s Day, and anniversaries. Tucked away in a corner of Irvine, this little Peruvian restaurant has romantic lighting, with outdoor heat lamps and flowers. The food is excellent.

Atmosphere is excellent. Servers are very nice. Food is “homemade”. That’s probably why some people don’t like it in the reviews. It’s exactly the way your mother would cook it. Not fancy, but satisfying. Portions are good for the price. I’ll come again. 💚

NEW item on the menu: Las Flacas appetizer - The best way to end a work week at one of my fave restaurants in Irvine! i love love this place, the owner is such a sweetheart and their staff is great representation of her!

My father is from Ecuador, so we know good Peruvian food when we have it. I ordered the Lomo Saltado which is one of my favorite Peruvian dishes, but the meat I had was not great. It was dry, chewy, and not tender. My sister said the same thing. My husband got the Seafood stew and was happy with his dish. The serving sizes are a good portion for the price. The star of the show was the ceviche and the empanadas. I would go back for those 2 things. The ceviche had so much zest and flavor! It was served with coricanchas (Peruvian corn nuts), and tasted very fresh. We all enjoyed it. I also had one of the best Chicha Moradas ever. Imagine mulled wine without alcohol, and the flavors of fall in an icy beverage. 2 thumbs up!

My favorite! The Arroz con pollo is the best here. The green sauce that it’s in taste like someone’s grandma is making it in the back. The chicken is juicy and the rice mixed with the green sauce is so good. I really like this place. Been here twice this week alone! Service is top notch and the atmosphere at night is really nice. Great place for a date or just a good lunch. Big portions too.

This place deserves more love! A local restaurant serving home-cooked style food. It’s my family’s go to dinner spot whenever we can’t choose where to go and it never disappoints! I highly recommend the verde pasta and the paella

We visited Inkas with my husband. Ordered mixed empanadas to share, salton seafood and seafood paella as entrees. Empanadas were yum and stuffed! We especially liked the chicken empanadas. The main dishes were also huge and yum. Prices are pretty good.

We walked around this busy Irvine center and decided on Tim Ho Wan, where we were able to be seated right away. The decor was nice with a modern look. The servers were efficient and came by our table often. Everything we shared: Pan Fried Noodles with BBQ Pork $12.50 Baked BBQ Pork Buns 3pc $8.00 Steamed Rice Roll with BBQ Pork $7.95 Sweet Coconut Cream with Taro and Sago $7.50 The baked barbecue pork buns is one of my favorites. Textured pillows of pastry that was a little sweet with a pocket of delicious char siu. The Pan Fried Noodles with BBQ Pork was another favorite. The portion was a little smaller than I was expecting. The flavor was fantastic and liked the crunch of the veggies. Visually very appealing! I miss the traditional dim sum carts. I’ll definitely have to come back to try more of their dim sum!

In A Nutshell: -This was the 2nd Tim Ho Wan location I've eaten at. -Compared to the Vegas location, it's not as aesthetically pleasing to the eye for obvious reasons, but it is very clean & bright which is good. -The service here is very, very good, kind & attentive! -The menu options are standard & the food quality is superb. -Every item ordered was very tasty, which is why this dim sum spot always ranks high among other foodies. Overall, I really enjoyed eating at this location in Irvine.

Has a modern look to it. But I drove 1.5hrs for this? I keep hearing their Hong Kong location has a Michelin Star. So far the Michelin board has been disappointing, and this place is honestly not different. Their webpage shows one thing, and then what comes out in comparison looks so subpar. 貨不對板。蝦餃冇十三摺，燒賣冇腰折. Their 鳳爪 (Phoenix Claws) can sit in the marinade, but the taste doesn't really get through, and they didn't cook it correctly to get it puffy and soft. The inside of the 叉燒包(BBQ Pork Buns) was dry as heck. I get not wanting to use the traditional rice flour bread, but that sugar-laden bread has nothing on Lucille's Biscuits, so don't even try! Somewhat passable was the 腸粉 (rice rolls), what was up with the plain rice roll? It honestly looked like it was store-bought. Try some of their other items, but based on the traditional stuff, they're trying too hard to be original, and it's not working for me.

First time visit! We got greeted by a host, got our temp checked and seated. Everything was clean and organized. We ordered a few items from the menu, some steamed, some pan fried, and some other regular dim sum dishes. The food tasted great. Everything was well seasoned, not too fatty or greasy. We miss the traditional dim sum carts. Definitely come back to try the other dishes. 4 stars for now. Hopefully our second trip will turn this into a 5 star review. Ciao!!

This is the second Tim Ho Wan I’ve been to and it’s just as amazing as the one in Honolulu. All of the dim sum is wonderful, but the pork buns are the most unique (they’re sweet and savory in the perfect way) and the cucumber salad is the best side dish. Don’t forget to enjoy it with some jasmine tea! It really makes the experience better.

We went on a Monday evening and got seated right away with about 1/4 of the place filled. Their menu is pretty…compact! If you have tried many other dim sum places, this place can be an average or just a bit above average. But the service was fast. Now, the food portion is not much, like in the won ton noodle soup, just a small amount of noodle.

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch last Saturday. We didn’t wait too long (about 10 min). The food here is pretty good. I liked that the plates we ordered were perfectly seasoned and it wasn’t too oily or salty. We highly recommend the Braised Brisket, noodles and the Steamed Pork Dumplings. They also have a happy hour from 3-6pm that we’ll likely try out in the next few weeks.

This spot is a bit of a hidden gem, tucked away in an apartment complex, but it’s definitely worth seeking out. It has a cozy, intimate vibe, almost like a little community restaurant. Despite its smaller size, there’s plenty of seating both inside and outside, making it a great place to grab a quick sandwich, relax, and catch up with friends or just get something to go. They offer daily specials, with a separate menu for those, which I think is a nice touch. I was impressed by their gluten-free bread option, which held up well and didn’t get dry or fall apart—always a concern with gluten-free options. The bread still had great flavor, and the sandwich was packed with all the right ingredients: plenty of meat, fresh lettuce, tomato, and just the right amount of mayo and mustard, so the bread stayed intact and didn’t get soggy. The customer service was outstanding as well. I was warmly greeted when I walked in, and the staff gave me great recommendations for what to try. As for gluten-free options, I’m not sure if the facility is entirely Celiac-safe due to potential cross-contamination, but it’s definitely a good choice for those following a gluten-free diet. They also offer some solid vegetarian options, which is a nice bonus. While the sandwiches are on the pricier side, the portion sizes are generous, and the quality is there. My sandwich was big, and it came with a side of chips. Everything was delicious and flavorful, and I can see myself coming back to try other sandwiches from their menu. The smoothies were also fantastic, adding another reason to return. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely come back to explore more of what they have to offer.

Their breakfast burrito is a masterpiece—you can tell it's crafted with love, and the fresh, high-quality ingredients make all the difference. The wonderful experience was topped off by the excellent and kind service from the entire team. Five stars!

This is a small place it's a bit hidden around condominiums. It's worth the drive...very friendly staff. I chose the summer salmon wrap..wow it's just perfect for the summer as the title indicates. This wrap did not need any sauce it had lemon juice. I wish it had more salmon but after I was done I think it was just right.We sat outside enjoyed the fresh air. Cant wait to try something else from the menu.

I love trying to find new coffee shops all the time, and a coffee shop will especially get my attention when I see that they own a La Marzocco machine. Unfortunately for this business, I was really disappointed in how my latte came out. I always order a plain latte (just milk and espresso) so I can decipher how the beans taste and how well the barista operates the machine. The shot that was pulled was over-extracted, meaning it had a burnt bitter taste to the beans. Another is that the pull was very watery, so the nice beautiful brown color you normally should get in a latte was not true for this cup. It looked almost like I had ordered an americano with a splash of cream, it wasn't appealing. Lastly, the oatmilk that was used wasn't a great brand either. Normally it is easy to tell the brand of oatmilk that is used based off of the texture and the creaminess of the drink. So this cup had a bit of a grainy texture to it, with some of that grains falling to the bottom of the cup. In all, I wouldn't recommened coming back if you're only coming for a coffee. The staff is super friendly and the environment was very welcoming. So, I give this place 3 stars because I didn't try their food, only their coffee.

Having been to the one in Redondo Beach previously, I was curious how the Irvine location would be. It was an okay experience with good food. Parking at the Spectrum sometimes feel like a matter of luck. I opted to just park in one of the structures after circling the lot a few times. This was a Friday around lunch hours. The place is beautiful, lots of glass, indoor outdoor seating, high and low seating. Service was nice, our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. Other staff members assisted us quickly, constantly topping off our waters. Food-wise, I opted for the black rice. It was good, wild/purple rice mixed with curry flavors. There could’ve been more seafood. Nice large shrimps and octopus. I was expecting bigger pieces of scallops but they were tiny. Portion is in that mix range of too small to share, too large for yourself A place like this, I’d like to share since there’s a good mix of different items, but their portions seem catered to individual portions Don’t get me wrong, the quality is there and the dishes pack a lot of flavor. But for the price and portions, I think I’d go elsewhere. It’s very difficult to choose this place over some other options.

I love their restaurant vibe and decorations. It’s like a high ends Vietnamese food with a little fusion in it. It’s located at Irvine Spectrum, Ca. After lunch or dinner can walk around and loose some calories lol. Love their drinks as well. Plenty of parking but since it’s summer time so it can get pack.

Thank you so much Jason. As soon as we entered into Little Sister, my sister and I could not help but take pictures of the interior. Incredibly well designed. We were seated within 10 minutes of waiting since we came in a less busy hours of around 2 pm. We got the following dishes *Goi Cuon - these spring rolls were accompanied by a peanut sauce that was so tangy. There were also candied nuts they had on the side that has been the “sprinkles on the icecream” of food for us. *Goi Du Du (Papaya Salad) - incredibly fresh. The best papaya salad I’ve ever had! *Shaky Shaky Beef - if you like steak, this is the dish to go. Incredibly supple meat accompanied by a fusion of rice and a nice salad *Sea Bass - the skin of the sea bass is crunchy while the inside is soft, the contrast is telling in the first bite! *Pho Ga - my mom commented on how the broth is unlike the pho you would get at the prior pho places we’ve been in! You can’t taste the msg! *Triple Garlic Noodle - grateful that there’s a lot of noodles because it had to be shared among five of us hungry family members. The garlic noodle sauce is not heavy at all *Brisket Banh Mi - generous portions. may as well be the most worth the price! We got this one to go since we noticed so many people grabbing it. We got a free Vietnamese coffee because of a coupon we found for purchases over $50. All the vegetables are incredible fresh! Flavorful, colorful, enhanced by the high ceiling. The portions for each dish is meant for one person, but my family went for attempting a family-style by sharing all our plates with each other still. It’s do-able for a fancy, celebratory family meal, and well worth it!

The second dessert was just as memorable—light, fresh, & beautifully plated. Nothing particularly special for the price point. The atmosphere is all over the place, they had a tv show displaying guts the entire time we were there. Staff does their job but they’re not particularly polite or attentive. Food was decent with only the chicken wings being something I’d for sure get again. Saigon lemongrass beef was not spicy.

The wait time was normal, but the food was delicious; the servers were professional. The food was generally good and rarely disappointed. However, a few years ago their rice was mixed with oil, but now it tastes like ordinary rice. I still like it, but they could do better.

I had an oat milk chai latte that was delicious. However, the breakfast was equivalent to a free breakfast that hotels provide. The potatoes were bland, cold, and unseasoned. The sausage was hard to chew and had an odd taste. Nothing had flavor and did not taste fresh. I am unsure where all of the positive reviews come from because my experience was a complete opposite.

And let’s not forget the bread—it was simply mouthwatering, making every bite even more enjoyable! The entire menu is a culinary delight that will leave your taste buds dancing! We were here yesterday for a wonderful birthday dinner with friends. We were seated outside in the patio, which was really nice with the lights and the breeze. I noticed there's a fireplace that can be turned on if the temperature drops. We had a big group 13, but Sherry took care of us so well, very thoughtful when to take the orders for drinks, apps, entrée and fill up our water. It's next to a parking garage which is convenient to walk, however I'm not sure what the noise level from the traffic is during lunch weekdays. The food is very good, especially the Malbec braised short rib. The Solstice salad is fresh, the watermelon & feta salad is excellent although I'm partial to halumi cheese when it comes to watermelon salad. The short rib croquettes is also a delicious appetizer, which is good to get a taste of the short rib before you commit to the entrée. The Yuzu Breeze is refreshing if you like yuzu liqueur and midori.

I was expecting a lot since it’s seasonal dishes and changes every season. I ordered all the seasonal items from starters and salads and desserts. The bisque was too salty. And dessert was too sweet. But the service was great! The ambiance is very bright and open. Love the spacious and modern look. Good for date lunch ❤️

Always a nice restaurant to go to whenever you have people visiting from out of town! Solstice is a charming spot that consistently puts out quality dishes based off of the season. It gives a modern twist to some classic dishes, and the presentation is solid as well. I’ve been here a couple of times, and it’s always been a hit! Their malbec braised short rib never fails to impress, and this time around their seafood risotto was delicious as well. The kiwi sour cocktail was also tasty! Solstice is also conveniently located close to John Wayne airport, so if you have any visitors, it’s easy to go to! If you’re looking for a new place to try, with a modern, charming atmosphere, then check them out!

A gastronomic star. A culinary delight. My husband and I came here for a Sunday evening late Valentine’s date, and wow. Everything was so delicious. We split a couple of starters: the white bean hummus, and Parker House rolls with apple butter are perfect to share. The hummus had really lovely juicy confit tomatoes, and sumac was sprinkled throughout. The Parker house rolls were fluffy and warm and slightly sweet. For my entrée, I ordered the roasted beet salad and added avocado and chicken. He got the braised short rib pappardelle. I’m not a drinker, so I just opted for hot water with lemon. The food was delightful. I felt very full after finishing my salad, despite the lightness and brightness of ingredients— the depth of flavor and quantity of protein was enhanced by adding the avocado and chicken. The zaa’tar lebneh made the whole dish, in my opinion. Husband devoured his pasta, he said it was perfectly cooked al dente. we thought we would take some of the food home. We were wrong. We devoured every bite. We wanted to lick the plate. Specifically, I wanted to lick my plate clean. He had a special seasonal cocktail, something with beets and whiskey, it was pretty. For dessert, we split the flourless chocolate fudge cake. Oh my God, that was amazing. We were not expecting tiny bits of raspberry coulis. The sprinkling of cocoa nibs were crunchy and delightful. The gelato was so, so good—creamy and cold. I love seeing little vanilla bits studded throughout. It was decadent, it was delightful, it was the perfect size for two. I’m extremely full, and I’m going on a very long run. But everything was worth it. We were so pleasantly surprised— the restaurant is huge, bright and airy, and the tables are comfortable. They certainly thought long and hard about placement. The tables are different sizes, so as to accommodate dates, or large groups. The clientele were of a variety of backgrounds, and seated next to us was a super cute family with their high school aged kids. On the other side, we saw couples on first dates. I don’t think this is a good place to bring newborns or toddlers. I would definitely go back. Our server, Cameron, was a sweetheart. He was very polite, attentive, and answered all our questions. I love that they validate parking. This is such a delightful find, and I bet their brunch is amazing.

Had dinner at Solstice Irvine recently, and while there were some good moments food-wise, the overall experience didn’t live up to the price point or the expectations that come with it. We started with the Parker House Rolls. My girlfriend really liked the saltiness on top, but I found the bread way too dry — airy, yes, but overbaked to the point that it took away from the enjoyment. Not the kind of start you want at a place with entrées pushing $100. We also ordered the Braised Short Rib Pappardelle, which was much better. The pasta was well-cooked, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the beef was very tender — in a good way. Definitely the highlight of the meal. Where things really fell apart was the service. It took several minutes for anyone to greet or seat us, even though it wasn’t particularly busy (8:30pm on a Saturday). Once seated, we waited over 10 minutes just to get our only appetizer. At a place charging premium prices, that kind of delay is hard to overlook. To be honest, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I didn’t “fit the look” of the place — walked in with a t-shirt and got the vibe that it mattered more than it should have. Maybe that’s reading into things, but first impressions matter.

Entire experience 10/10. I live about 5 hours away and found the most amazing hidden gem in Orange County. The food most definitely gave me high end fine dining flavor and uniqueness but the atmosphere was just so vibey. I came alone but I saw plenty of families. Also saw people dressed up but also super casual. The service was absolutely phenomenal and everyone was so friendly. No reservation necessary but I definitely recommend making one online! I can't wait to come back when I visit again! Every single item I ordered was absolutely phenomenal. ZERO COMPLAINTS, you can tell a lot of time goes into their menu. Best Item: Short Rib Pappardelle Pasta Best Dessert: Apple Butter Cake Parking: the Broadway parking garage is right behind the restaurant, super easy to navigate and you can get your ticket validated so it's free.

The Goldfinch has a beautiful atmosphere that creates a pleasant dining experience. However, in my opinion, the number of tables in the space is more than usual, making it feel a bit crowded. I believe reducing the number of tables would improve the comfort of guests. That being said, the quality of the food was good, and the management was also well-organized. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience!

This spot has a great vibe that strikes the perfect balance between casual and upscale. I grabbed a seat at the bar for a drink and a meal, and the bartender couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly—definitely added to the welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor seating looked inviting and would be a great option on a nice day. As for the food, the calamari was generously portioned and well-prepared. The New York strip was cooked to perfection, with excellent flavor, even if it leaned a bit on the dry side. Their spirit selection is solid, offering a decent variety to pair with your meal. Whether you're stopping by for a laid-back evening or something a little more refined, this place delivers. I’ll definitely be back.

I have eaten here a few times and have always been impressed. Katey and I stopped in for a quick light lunch today and it was excellent. We both sampled the seasonal menu salads and really enjoyed it. I had the Shrimp/Lobster/melon salad and I’ve got to say I thought I was taking some risk but it was perfect. It’s a very nice, pleasant space with an excellent patio. Service is super. I’ll be back many more times I’m sure.

It was Mother's day for lunch. Very crowded, and I strongly recommend a reservation. As it was, we waited 1/2 hrs. to be seated. The calamari starter and pitaschio tiramisu were the best. The rest of our food was just OK. Service was okay.

We loved our dining experience. The staff was gracious and welcoming. The interior was modern and well-appointed. The elevated menu of culinary delights contained options for palates of all types.

I first discovered The Goldfinch after seeing a post from sibling duo @Brooke.and.Ben on Instagram, and I’m so glad I did. The restaurant is elegant and has such a welcoming vibe. The food was absolutely delicious, the cocktails were not only unique but also beautifully crafted, and the desserts were pure indulgence. This is definitely a spot I’d bring my clients for a business lunch, or come back to enjoy with friends and family. A great find in Irvine!

Mmmmm, very good. Lemon ricotta pancakes: Very lightly sweet, the ricotta & lemon both come through but don't overpower the other flavors; texture of pancakes is super light & fluffy; berries & whipped butter go really well on it. 10/10 recommend! Also their mocha is excellent ☕️ There was a bit of a line, but to be fair it was a Saturday morning when I went. They take your name, call you when there's space, & you place your order & pay before sitting — I love this bc it eliminates the need to wait for a check to be brought & all that (European-style). Besides, they took <5 minutes to seat me (at ~9am), and subsequent parties had to wait a bit more perhaps, but I think that's what one could expect.

Great food. Fresh and good. I love the breakfast burrito, waffle, and pancake. Service: great service and attentive. Ambiance: modern and clean.

Poached Kitchen has become one of our go to breakfast spots and for good reason. We have been here a few times now and honestly have never had a bad meal. This time I got the Morning Scramble with bacon which is always my favorite and it was perfect once again. The eggs are creamy and airy, never dry or overcooked, and they hold together nicely. The cream sauce with the bacon on top adds just the right flavor, crispy and tangy. Their sourdough is great too and makes the best little egg and scramble sandwich. The hash browns are usually the highlight for me. Perfectly crispy and crunchy on the outside with a soft inside, not soggy or greasy, just the right balance. My wife and I usually split a salad on the side and it is always fresh and a nice touch. We have also tried a few of their other dishes in the past and everything has been excellent. The salmon lox Benedict was amazing and their short rib omelette is another standout. The portions are generous and satisfying. The owner is super sweet and you can tell he really cares about the details when it comes to both food and drinks. The line is always long every time we come but that only shows how popular and consistent this place is. It has definitely become our regular Sunday after church spot and a place we will keep coming back to.

Even though the line was long when we got there, the wait actually wasn’t bad at all! The staff has a super-efficient way of handling the crowd, you order and pay first, then get seated once your table is ready. We ended up sitting at the bar, which turned out to be perfect because you can see the kitchen line working non-stop and the servers hustling around getting food out. I ordered the Chilaquiles with a Matcha Latte, and both were really good! My boyfriend went for the Birria Benedict with a Vanilla Latte, and everything came out fresh and flavorful. We also ordered the fresh-squeezed orange juice, and OMG probably the best OJ I’ve ever had! So bright, sweet, and refreshing. My only minor complaint — I asked one of the staff behind the bar for a serrano pepper on the side, and she said it would be $4 extra. I’ve never been charged for a pepper anywhere, so that threw me off a bit. But aside from that, everything else about our experience was positive. Great food, great energy, and an impressively well-run brunch restaurant despite how busy it gets. Would definitely come back again, maybe just skip the extra pepper next time.

Went to Poached on a random weekday and the atmosphere was very chill. We ordered the NY Steaks and Eggs, Short Rib Omelette, Blueberry Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and the Dolce de Leche Latte. Was my first time trying and the service was great with the staff offering suggestion and potential modifications (less sweet on the latte, etc.) Food arrived rather quick and was hot. The NY Steak and Eggs and Blueberry Lemon Ricotta Pancakes were delicious, however the Short Rib Omelette left a bit to be desired. I understand eggs are expensive right now, but the taste of carton eggs was not what I was expecting. Additionally, I decided to have a bit of ketchup with my hashbrowns and was surprised, yet thankful, when I opened the bottle away from the table and soapy water spilled out. The bottle must've fallen in a sink, but clearly wasn't checked. Overall, not the best first impression, but I'd like to give it another try sometime in the future.

We came around 9:30am on a Sunday and they told us the wait was going to be 45 minutes. We were on a tight schedule that day so I went ahead and called some other breakfast places only to find that they would take just as long. But luckily we were called in 5 minutes. So I want to say the wait times could be really misleading. We ordered the avocado toast, steak and eggs, morning scramble, and french toast. It was filling but nothing was surprisingly good to come back routinely. It was really hot that day so just wished that they could've moved the umbrellas a bit more to cover everyone at the table.

The wife ordered Pumpkin and Pear creme French Toast. Wonderful. I ordered Machaca Scramble with fresh fruit. Amazing! Fresh squeezed orange juice was a great touch

Little duck themed donut shop that sells ice cream and coffee as well. The unique thing they do is make the donuts fresh to order, and then add the glaze and toppings. Service was friendly and helpful. I wanted to love it but it was just waaay too sweet and I could only eat one bite. They also sell little plastic ducks as part of the theme.

I found this place via Instagram (yay marketing!) It was absolutely adorable inside and very warm and inviting. The employee was very friendly and helpful and did a great job makin’ my schtuff. The donut I got was definitely the most delicious donut I’ve ever had. Warm, cinnamon-y and it tasted just like a carnival donut would taste. I’m absolutely coming back. How did I not hear about this place until now?! Yum!

If you want the freshest, softest donuts ever this is the place! We visited 2 days in a row during our trip to Newport Beach. Each time we tried different donuts. They are made to order which means that there is a wait (do not come if you’re short on time). Big shout out to Payton- he was friendly and helpful and both times he recommended his own custom made donuts which were delicious. We even tried his ‘salty grandma’ donut. Very pleased with our experience here and we will definitely return in the future 🦆.

The staff all greeted and were very knowledgeable with the menu. I got the blueberry pancake donut and Oreo they were light perfect sugar ratio. We also got the breakfast sandwich with bacon and egg it was tasty but missing spread of some sort because it was really dry. Drinks were good it was a cool experience.

We stopped by here expecting to just pick up a few donuts before we started on our drive back up to the SF Bay Area. But we were in for a treat! I don't think I've ever had freshly made donuts with prepared-to-order toppings! See our attached videos and photos. My son and I like our donuts SWEET, and did they oblige! Next time we're in Irvine, we're gonna meed to stop by again!

Went to Irvine location since I live in OC. I love Korean food. We ordered Fried Garlic Soy Chicken thigh so flavorful. Also a set of Yup O, it had rice cake, sausages, fish cake, cabbage and cheese. And the set came with seaweed rice and veggies fried tempura. My favorite place to go for this type of Korean food. Staffs were very nice. It’s a hole in the wall restaurant but good food and clean place.

Yupdduk has always been my ultimate soul food since my days in Korea. I’m so happy they have locations in the LA area (I visited the Irvine one)! It tastes just as amazing here — spicy, rich, and so comforting. The U.S. version comes with lots of cabbage and extra-delicious sausage, which I actually love. I really hope they open a branch in the SF Bay Area someday — I’d be their regular for sure!

My partner and I absolutely love Korean food and were really excited to find this bunsik style restaurant as we’ve been to places like this in the Buena Park area. We drove a bit to get here, immediately when I enter I’m told that I’m not allowed to have my iced coffee (which you guys don’t even offer on the menu) …I’m happy to even pay for that, let me Venmo you $6 if you’re being that stingy, but yeah big turn off before having to exit and come back for this pointless rule. The fried chicken was delicious, moist and flavorful, actually my favorite part of the meal. The staff was really nice and attentive, they did forget about our beer though, but we eventually got it when we asked about it again. The Dduk was incredibly spicy. I got the “mild”. Mind you, I’m a white guy who can eat whole Jalapeños, haha, and I do love spicy food. So I’d recommend getting the extra mild if you wanna really appreciate the flavors. Overall, flavors were good, we might be back.

Everything was delicious service was top-notch we loved it. We’ve never had this before in a restaurant sit down style and it was awesome and their server was wonderful and super helpful and informative for first timers.!!!

Stopped by Yup Dduk in Irvine and it was definitely a solid spot. We got the Yup Dduk Tteokbokki, Yup Dduk Chicken Stew, Tuna Mayo Rice, and a Potato Cheese Corndog. The tteokbokki and chicken stew were the real standouts — full of flavor, good heat, and just the right kick to keep things interesting. The tuna mayo rice and corndog were solid sides that paired well without stealing the show. The spot itself is casual and unassuming, and the food definitely delivers. If you’re into Korean street-style dishes with bold spice and flavors that actually hit, this place is worth carving out time for.

Such a good deal!! $37 per person, AYCE meats, with a large "Salad Bar," and ice cream! Beef belly was one of our favorite orders, while the recommendation of half spicy, half beef broth really hit the spot! I'd avoid the frozen seafood section of the buffet line entirely. The sesame balls were delicious, and the fried chicken! For $9, we got a large bottle of Sapporo, which was also such a good deal. The pop section was a little gross and ran out of carbonation or flavoring. But the rest of the buffet line was consistently getting replenished. Our server was quick, and the space is spacious and clean. Wait, during peak dinner time was about an hour for just a table for 2. We'd probably be back again! Recommend!

The newly opened Korean chain hot pot restaurant offers all-you-can-eat options. On weekdays, lunch is priced at $28.99 with a choice of 7 different meats, while dinner and weekend rates are $37.99, offering 11 meat options. The restaurant features a spacious, very tidy, and clean interior, along with excellent service. There is a wide variety of side dishes, vegetables, and seafood to choose from. Both the dipping sauces and soup bases (6 types) are complimentary, and the soup base can be changed at any time. The dining experience is truly satisfying and filling. For meats, options 1, 2, and 3 are highly recommended as the most delicious, and for soup bases, numbers 4 and 5 are the top recommendations.

We started with original broth and some spicy broth. Then got as much high quality beef as we wanted, as well as many items from the salad bar. Fresh ingredients all the way around, and great, unlimited iced green tea. Come with a big appetite.

All That Shabu is awesome! Tons of fresh meats, veggies, and broths to choose from, plus the place is super clean and well-organized. Staff are friendly and quick to help, and the self-serve bar has great sides and desserts. It does get packed on weekends, but totally worth the wait for the quality and variety. Perfect spot for family or friends who love hotpot!

Food was excellent. Choose your brother and hit the buffet for veggie and other add in’s. The service was great. Order quick and regularly or it will take a while to get your meats. Don’t forget to eat what you order on the meats or you’ll get an extra charge. The food is not too salty. Highly recommend. My favorite is the beef broth.

Great place! Good food, very healthy greens and options, including the side dishes and sweet rice water. My family always comes here. Just be mindful not to bump your knee under the table. Some of the hot pots are randomly slower than the others, but it’s not a big deal. It’s genuinely 5 stars though, we love this place.

Best hotpot restaurant I've ever been to. I've never seen such a wide selection of food, drinks, and desserts. The staff always ensures that the meat is top quality. Overall excellent atmosphere.

Very nice area, covienent parking , burgers were not half bad, a little exspensive for what you get, it was nice to try but to exspensive to pull me away from other places like Red Robin, Slaters 50/50 etc. They do have some unique flavors for the burgers and a few local brews on tap.

The buns are little chewy. The burgers are good quality and price is good.

Great location. I can eat here everyday and just relax and enjoy the surroundings. It's pretty cheap for a burger. Get the combo and you will get fries, along with a drink. The strawberry basil lemonade was really good. As for parking, you get validation but make sure you park in the correct one, which is on the same side as Mick's Karma Bar. If you park on the other side where the offices are, it won't work because it belongs to a different owner.

So I ordered the Mediterranean Burger with spicy hummus, peppers, and feta. They didn't ask how I liked my burger cooked and I didn't tell them. It worked out well. The hummus was actually spicy. It finished well on the tongue. The juicy patty was a nice size. I was impressed with the bun. It was soft, sturdy, and perfect for soaking everything up. It felt good in my hands. There was no cutting it in half here. The thick-cut steak fries were perfectly crispy and the portion was just the right amount. I added a strawberry-basil lemonade. I liked it although I didn't taste much in the way of basil. It was on the less sweet side which I prefer. I'm eager to try their Karma Burger - a classic looking cheeseburger.

Unique burgers. The buns are really flavorful and have more chew than is typical. Fresh flavors, juicy patties. Best part was the atmosphere. Very homey and laid back. Would have given it 5 stars if burgers were outstanding but they're just great.

One of the best burger places that I've been to. The karma sauce is amazing so make sure to ask them for additional sauce for your burger and fries! If you're going here for the first time, I'd stick with their classic Karma Burger. Definitely can't go wrong with that! The online service is so useful because this place usually has a long line. Order online then drive over and pick it up is the quickest way to go. Parking might be a hassle because you have to get your visitor pass verified, but it won't keep you from going here!

After hearing many things about Mick's Karma Bar I finally got to stop here over the weekend. Parking was easy to find in the garage and it was free with a 2 hour limit. I thought the burgers were just okay. The patty was juicy, the bread had a chewy texture to it. It wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing either. I definitely felt like it was any other burger joint out there. Each burger was around $6-9 depending on what burger you got and if you wanted a combo it was an extra $3.

A fish and chip shop hidden amongst some other food places. A food court setting. Service was quick and friendly. Food was fresh. Fish was good size and good ratio to fries.

While I have been a loyal customer to London Chippy over 12 times over the past year, this current and previous visit (a few months ago) have been a disappointment. The fish in their popular Fish & Chips has shrunk by at least two to three ounces - shrink anymore and it will become a fish stick!!! Also, the chips (thick cut french fried potatoes) are not seasoned evenly because it is a mixture of old and new fries - just like the last time. Their tartar sauce no longer taste homemade since it came from a store bought sauce...keep it up and you will definitely lose this customer!!!

Delicious fish and chips made fresh per order. I ordered the original fish and chips which came with 2 large pieces of cod fish with crispy hot beer batter that came with seasoned fries. They are not stingy with their portions and got really full with this order. The people working there are so friendly; excellent service! $15 for my order; worth it for the portion and deliciousness!

Was craving some fish and chips and decided to give this location a try. It’s soooo good. Their batter is so light and fluffy, the fish is not oily at all (not fishy either) and the chips are perfectly seasoned. Would totally recommend giving this location a try!!

Little disappointing, chips and coleslaw great the fish was dodgy. Was not lite, fresh and fluffy. Another day in the cooler probably would of been unservable. It's getting hard to find that fish perfect.

It’s $10 to valet park there. The service was good. Sides were ok there. We ordered the lobster mashed potatoes, asparagus and fried rice. Fried rice was salty. The sea bass was pretty good. They serve it four ways and we got it baked. The steak was probably the best item. Overall nice place for a celebration.

I had a great dinner at Mastro's in Costa Mesa. The highlight of the night was definitely the dry-aged ribeye — perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The meat overall was excellent. The sides, however, were a bit of a letdown. The Brussels sprouts in particular weren’t my favorite — the flavor was off and didn’t really complement the meal. One odd detail: cocktails were served with the shaker so you could pour the rest yourself. It felt a bit out of place for a fine dining experience, especially with no garnish or presentation. The lighting inside was also a bit too dim. I appreciate a cozy atmosphere and low lighting, but it could’ve been just slightly brighter for comfort. Also worth noting — the restrooms are upstairs with quite a few stairs. The restroom itself was clean and well-kept, but the location isn’t convenient, especially for older guests. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening and the steak alone makes it worth the visit. Would return, but a few things could be improved.

This is the second time I’ve visited Maestro’s at this location. The first time was approximately 20 years ago. I expected the upscale service that.was delivered but the food was far below expectations, especially the 33oz ribeye that was flavorless except for the butter on the plate. The tuna tartare was bland with much too large a portion. The bread basket is an extra charge and even the celebratory chocolate cake had a charge added to the bill?! Overall there are much better fine dining restaurants that you can enjoy in OC, no need to waste time or money here…

11/4 lb live Maine lobster 🤣🤣🤣described on menu 🤦‍♀️ A 1 1/4 lb (0.57 kg) Maine lobster is equivalent to approximately 568 grams to 676 grams. i have in my order maximum 70 grams lobster i swear !!! This wasn't our first time at this restaurant. For that kind of money, $57 plus taxes, a total of $60 for a dish of mash potatoes with lobster. The lobster had a piece of claw and a few chopped pieces of tail. We ordered takeout and I left a comment asking for lobster like the photo you show people on the menu. We just laughed for half the evening because there was 10 times less lobster than in the photo. Aren't you ashamed? We've been to your restaurant many times before. And couple times i complained about that order and your manager bring the pieces from lobster and said sorry! There are many delicious dishes,our order was 420$ but potatoes with lobster are simply a disgrace to your restaurant! And you even raised the price for this dish... SHAME!!!!

This is my Favorite Mastro's location. The food is always perfectly executed and is very consistent. The Wagyu tomahawk was my favorite steak. The French fried potatoes were the only menu item that I didnt really like, when we told our waiter we didnt like them, he promptly replaced them with the other side we requested in their place. I love the lobster mac and the button mushrooms as well. The roasted bone marrow was very yummy and I highly recommend ordering that as an appetizer.

I always love the service we receive here. Kevin and a team provided service for us and they were amazing! Maestro's has remarkable drinks like their famous Dream Berry. The food is always delicious, my favorites are the Chilean seasons, pretzel bread, and mushrooms! The really created a warm atmosphere everytime we come, especially for my mom's birthday a week ago! Oh, a secret that may not be so secret, they have a law enforcement discount as well. I highly recommend Maestro's.

Not many vegetarian options. Besides a desert waffle or a breakfast burrito. There's a goat cheese sandwich on the online menu but not on the actual menu and its not served. I asked the server about vegetarian options and she said this is mostly a chiken place so vegetarian is limited. I would go here mainly for desert. Waffles with syrup are awesome. Ordered a cold brew with foam and more than half of the cup was foam.

I have never really tried the waffles with the chicken. I was afraid I wouldn’t make it, but was I am wrong. It was amazing. They are pet friendly so I took my little French bulldog and they gave her a little pup cup. She gives it a paws up.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I was in from out of town and looked at some spots with good reviews. I love chicken and waffles so I had to check out Bruxie. My wife and I ordered the original sandwich and the buttermilk fried chicken salad. They were both amazing! Tons of flavor and generous portions. But the real reason for 5 stars was a kid named Ruben who was working there. He helped us order and walked us through the menu. I told him I wanted fries but decided not to order them because I was feeling full from other meals. About 10 minutes into our meal Ruben walked over and set down some fries and said you gotta have these. It was a very thoughtful gesture and I thought his way of interacting and thoughtfulness made the night! I would hire him if I lived here in California. Give Ruben a raise because you don’t want to lose him anytime soon 👍

Had dinner at Bruxie in City of Orange. It's still great food and the atmospbere has a great small town vibe near Chapman University. The home architecture around here feels like the movie "Back to the future". Park next to Chapman Univ. As many street parking is for residents only.

I’ve been going to this Bruxie spot for years and it’s always been excellent! I loved their food when I wasn’t vegetarian and now that I am I still love the options here. Parking around The Orange Circle can always be a pain, but this little spot is worth it. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Bruxie seems to always be adding to the menu especially for the seasonal items, so there’s always something new to try beyond the classics. Would definitely recommend this place for a quick and tasty bite!

They specialize in chicken and waffles, which they prepare to perfection. The waffles are crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The best in OC!! The strawberry waffles come with fresh berries and whipped cream. So good! The lemon-filled waffles are melt-in-your-mouth perfection. They have added several new items to their menu so check it out. Service is by cheerful staff who keep your coffee filled and the tables clean. The only downside is the location—it’s on a busy corner by Chapman University with only outside seating. They do have a mist system in the summer. It’s worth the drive and outside seating and noise—especially when you taste those dreamy waffles!!!

Food Food quality is good, but not great, for some of the meals. I enjoyed my 1/2 sandwich, and salad. The meals for the guests that joined me: Braised beef and potatoes still remain with the same great quality. The salmon was a bit dry along with the dry hummingbird cake, which is missing the pineapple chunks. Fresh mango tart was delicious. The curst was very tasty. -Steak plate (6.5 of 10), with basmati rice with asparagus. Family preference is the steak that needs more seasoning, but to fill your belly, not bad. Service Great service, no complaints. The cashier and the gentleman that brought our food were very nice and respectful. Atmosphere Can get a bit loud with large parties, including children, but other than that, it was nice. Overall The steak plate is a little pricey for the quality of meat provided. Salmon about the same pricing as the steak. The braised beef plate, with 1/2 sandwich and mango tart cake, were very affordable under $35.00. Thank you for the military discount as well. It's greatly appreciated.

This was a new location for us, though we are familiar with Urban Plates. Alex was very helpful and patient as we asked questions and custom ordered our food. This UP also. Has a really nice patio carved out of a boring mall parking lot with great shade and comfortable seating. Great attention to detail in customer service, food, and atmosphere!

Love this location, usually go to the one off jamboree but was in the area and forgot how comfortable and at home the outdoor patio feels. Shout out to Camilo for helping us out with another 5 Star Meal!

However this time around, with the large menu of items to get, Alex was patient with me to help me choose as I took time figuring what to try. We came here with a relatively large group under a reservation. This was everyone's first time at the location and we has a great time. The food was great and the menu was varied enough for everyone to be happy. The lamb burger was phenomenal. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

Went on the recommendation of a friend. I was expecting a cheap burger joint, it was not cheap, but not unreasonable for Los Angeles. There were several tables of "ladies who lunch" leisurely having mid day wine. Server was friendly, food was excellent, menu had interesting choices. Salmon was perfectly prepared, best I've had in a while.

Awesomeness does not begin to describe it. Had the Moroccan Salmon salad. Out of this world. Had a chocolate peanut butter rice crispy treat for dessert. They've been here for 40 yrs. Who would have thunk. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. Excellence indeed.

Great location, service and food. I loved that they have their own bakery and make fresh cakes. I loved the food and wine here. I got the almond crusted salmon and it was very tasty. Our server was also very attentive and nice. Our food was ready in a timely manner and the server checked Many times with us to make sure we were happy and comfortable. This is a great place for dinner and prices are reasonable.

Zovs is a classic sport for having lunch with family friends, really friendly and kind waiters and staff, who really care about you. Really good deserts, and that is what they are most know for. The chocolate bomb is my favorite but the Key lime pie is also amazing. Zovs has both a bakery and a bistro, bistro has more lunch and sit down food, the bakery for dessert and pastries. The dine in options and also great and has a wide variety of food on the menu, the foods a little pricey, but the meals and very creative and delicious, like the lamb burger.

We came in for a weeknight dinner with family. We had the calamari appetizer (the sauce was excellent) the lamb chop also delicious though one piece was almost burnt black so we mentioned it to our server and she brought us another piece. The salmon was fantastic, melt in your mouth, juicy and perfectly cooked. The beef kebob were my least favorite— tasted like cheap grill oil sprayed on it. We also ordered the sea bass but the server never brought it out and so voided it off the order by the time they realized the mistake. I was most looking forward to the sea bass so will make another visit for that! I do recommend going here, nice atmosphere and the service was decent.

It was easy to make a reservation here. We ordered appetizers before our food, but it still came out at the same time as our food did. Honestly, I thought everything was ok. Some our meat was over charred. The chicken was good though

Taiko has been a Japanese food stable in Irvine for many years. They have updated their menu and prices. Most items are the same. The food is great, I love their sushi. The service is also very nice. The store has a Japanese feel to it. I noticed the air quality hasn't been that great. It's not as bad as a Korean BBQ place, but I usually smell like tempura after eating there. To go is usually fast if ordered ahead. I also like they start using point system to give you some discount. Overall, it's a nice choice if I'm craving for some Japanese food.

Many reviews are talking about how Americanized the sushi was but I’m half Japanese, half Chinese, and if you know how to order, very Japanese and authentic. I recommend mainly going for the sushi and getting a variety to try each type of fish. Premium Japanese food, everything was so good and the matcha Mont Blanc ice cream dessert was unbelievable. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the a5 Wagyu is so fatty and satisfying to eat. My favorite food was the sweet shrimp boat and it was loaded with crab, shrimp, and the fried head was out of this world, incredible rich and soft. Overall, one of the best sushi restaurants in Irvine and it was reasonably priced. The service was very fast as we were at the sushi bar

This has been a long standing favorite place of my family. We have been coming here for as long as I can remember. There is already a line outside before they open cuz it’s that good!!!

We have been here many times before and loved it. Most recently we were… disappointed. The biggest gripe I have is way too much mayo. In everything. Anything with crab salad (aka 90% of rolls) were way too saturated with mayo, to the point where that was the main thing that I could taste. Same with the volcano roll, absolutely drenched in mayo. Usually I go to sushi for a cleaner, healthier meal, and this felt at ends with normal sushi meals. We also had some rolls that came out ~1 hour after ordering on a not very busy night. I think for the cost it was not very worth it. I hope they can work on this issue because it used to be my favorite local sushi place.

Shoutout to Taiko for the HUGE proportions for the bucks. Food was fresh, tasty, and served fast. The sesame chicken was amazing.

Was in town for a shoot and craving some Cajun :) This was referred! The boil was pretty good and sauce was very tasty, but what stood out the most was the fish and fries! Fish was thick and so tasty! Especially with the tarter sauce! Also had the clam chowder and it had huge pieces of clams in every bite! Really light and not so creamy and delicious.

hey guys, let me tell you about a place called kicking crabs located in Irvine California. If you’re looking for really nice seafood boil that this place is awesome. The only one downside to this is that the wait time for Seden is sometimes over an hour the cocky guys that are there. Don’t really give you the best customer service in my opinion other than that, the ambience is great. The men’s bathroom was pretty filthy. When I went inside I didn’t take any photos of it cause I’m not here to create any Health Department issues with this restaurant however, I believe that they can do much more better in the restroom

We had a horrible experience at Kickin Crab. We added pur name on Waitlist on Sunday, May 11th at 12:10 pm for dine in with two other friends. My wife wasn’t feeling well due to the extreme heat outside, so we politely asked if she could sit inside the restaurant for a moment to cool down. The place was nearly empty, as you can clearly see from the photos—plenty of open tables and chairs. Still, one of the servers, an Asian young lady with tablet in hand and calling waitlist parties, rudely told us, “Our store is small, sorry you can’t sit here,” and turned us away. She clearly saw that my wife was unwell and chose to ignore it. There was zero compassion, zero flexibility, and the attitude was unnecessarily rude. It’s unacceptable for a restaurant with so much empty space to treat people like this—especially when someone is clearly not feeling well. Absolutely disappointed. We will never be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values decent customer service or basic human kindness.

Super friendly staff. Delicious food. I usually go to the one in Garland Texas, so I thought I would try this one since I was close by. Kickin Crab never disappoints no matter what state you're in. I got the whole Lobster, 6 piece Sausage, and corn, Cajun medium. DELICIOUS. The lobster was perfectly cooked (no overcooked). Get there early because it is a little small and seems like seats are limited. I kept seeing people come in and leave. Other than that... a definite must.

It’s been a while since I had Cajun boil and Kickin crab did fabulous job making the shrimp bag with sausage/corn for dinner. Medium was spicy enough for someone who likes HOT 🥵! The sauce is so good… I can eat white rice 🍚 just with the sauce 💜 Thank you for delicious dinner! 👍🏼👍🏼

Our first time at Kickin Crab. We got there before 6pm and luckily best the rush. We were seated immediately even though we had no reservations. We really enjoyed the food. Even my daughter who is so-so with crab enjoyed the experience. She even asked to go back. Overall a very pleasant experience.

This was my family’s first time and our server was great at answering our questions. Unfortunately the food quality wasn’t what we had hoped for. The corn tasted stale, the shrimps were not deveined, and texture was off. We did have the garlic noodles, but overall there was a lack in flavor.

This restaurant has a large fun menu with lots of choices you are sure to find something you may enjoy. The restaurant is clean and there is plenty of parking to be had. The service is ok. They are neither attentive nor are they dismissive. It could just be that I went in a Saturday afternoon and they were busy. The food itself to me was subpar. Avocado toast - very very thin layer of avocado. The toast was more a bread than toast so it didn't have that fun texture difference. Completely overloaded with the onions. Eggs Bennie- was sloppy in presentation and the egg was way over cooked. The sauce was nice but almost too much. I am unsure if it is just because I went on the weekend but the reviews do not match what I experienced. I may come again not during the weekend time to check.

Came to this location for the first time and loved it! There is plenty of parking and the restaurant is large and clean. Our server, Manuel was so kind, attentive and friendly. It made our dining experience all that much better! Food is delicious and fresh as well! Can’t wait to be back!

We loved our time here. Service was great. Food was delicious. They had a balloon artist which was fun for the kids.

First time here we were Immediatelygreeted and seated. We treated ourselves to a flight of Mimosa’s yum. Eggs were fluffy the potatoes were crispy and tender. My eggs golden state Benedict were perfect. My husband’s Nutella crisps with strawberry banana were delicious. Coffees was good. A bit of a drive for us but worth it for good food and excellent service thank you Eunice. We will be back.

We had a Breakfast Burrito, and Nutella Crepes - & they were fire. The service was awesome, and the feel was old time diner. Love it, if I ever return to Orange County - I’m swinging back over..

Had to come here because the Border Benedict was that good and Manuel gave perfect service as always. I've been to other locations but I think they make the food here with the most care/love. Also, the place is clean with plenty of space and lots of light. Highly recommend.

Great lunch! Samuel did an excellent job of serving us a brilliant meal. Very friendly and super efficient. The food was fresh and tasty! We were a set of four with a baby. All of us are vegetarian so the options were limited. Still very satisfying indeed.

Tried the pumpkin cold brew my first time with cold foam & I usually don't do cold foam but this was pretty good. Didn't taste much like pumpkin but was still good. I also got the chocolate cake which was dry. The top layer was heaven like Godiva but it was only the top that was good. If they added another layer in the middle it would counteract the dryness possibly? It had a white chocolate bow which was pretty good. Definitely will visit again & try something else on the menu. Was very cute inside & worker was very nice.

What an adorable cafe! I still remember when Hello Kitty items were exclusively found at Sanrio boutique stores before they became available at Target, Walmart and other stores. Seeing this Hello Kitty Cafe at Irvine Spectrum made me feel like this was an exclusive spot - just like it used to be. All things Hello Kitty (and her friends) are nostalgic and will easily draw me in - especially since I used to work for Sanrio at the mall as a teen. Walking into the Hello Kitty Cafe, I was immediately welcomed by the familiar Sanrio drawings. It was also a perfect opportunity to buy some sweet treats for my cousin who was heading out to Hawaii the next morning. I purchased the madeleines because they were individually packaged and came in a cute pink box, as well as some fresh mini donuts (cinnamon sugar mini donuts). These were delicious! Overall, the little treats did but a smile on the gift recipients’ faces. As their old saying goes, “Small Gift, Big Smile”.

Super cute and delicious! We didn't visit the tea room, just got madeleines to take away! They were so yummy and great value for money! You get eight in the box and they are individually wrapped, so they stay fresh and yummy for a little longer than some of the other cakes would have. We were stuck between a few things for what to get and the staff were so kind and gave us their own opinions to help us choose! The madeleines were the right choice!

I visited the Hello Kitty Café at Irvine Spectrum. The place is super cute, and the desserts and drinks looked and tasted great. It’s mostly take-out, and the “Bow Room” inside is a reservation-only area. Even so, it’s worth stopping by if you like Hello Kitty or just want a cute dessert spot in Irvine.

Cocktails are priced between $18 to $22, which is pretty reasonable for the experience. Each drink is thoughtfully crafted and often comes with a cute Hello Kitty twist. Whether you're here for the drinks or the vibes, it's definitely worth checking out! :) be sure to make a resy before hand~

This was such a nice treat for me and my daughter. She loves hello kitty. She order a drink with coffee and didn't know that if was loaded with caffeine. She kindly asked the kittyista to remake it for something else and they were gladly to help us out . Definitely will be back to make a private reservation.

Really cute cafe! Was unsure on what to order but ended up getting the pumpkin cold foam! Tasted really weird and chunky (due to the pumpkin purée I assume). Wasn’t good but maybe others may enjoy it! Not worth $9, I’ll try something new next time. The service was really quick.

Was excited to try wonton egg noodles soup at this place as it's rare in Irvine Tustin area. One of my favorite egg noodle soup. I ordered the weekday special wonton noodle soup but unfortunately it was too salty and wonton was too thick and soggy. I was really hoping it would be my to go place.

We were in town for work and stumbled upon this hidden treasure. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, a nice menu of authentic Asian dishes…need I say more. I Fell on love with the robust flavors and assortment of dumplings as well as great teas. Oh yes the lychee black tea knocked my socks off. While the roasted duck plate had me almost licking my plate for more. Please open a restaurant in orange beach Alabama… I am a customer for life!

I ordered 2 items online. The fried rice was too salty and the portion was small. On the other hand, the HK beef noodle was very bland and not tasty. Their quality has come down a lot since I had them at their old place in Diamond Plaza years ago. You can find much better Cantonese foods today at places like Tasty Spot Cafe, Tasty Garden, and Jay Zhou (dim sum). I’m also waiting for the new Palette Dim Sum to open in the Tustin marketplace. Palette’s decor and dim sum are exquisite!

The food is really great. When we got there we told the staff that while waiting, we will be at the bakery. But when we got back, our seat was given to someone else. They were accommodating and helpful, and had prepared another table with our meals. It wasn’t a big deal and they tried fixing it as soon as possible. Here is the reason why I gave them a five. After eating, we were in a rush and we forgot to get our Pee See Ew that was suppose to be a take out order, so I called them and they were really nice and had given me credit that I can use when I go back to their restaurant, which is great and less hassle because I don’t have the time to go back. Plus, their food and service is really great and the service staff are excellent. Thank you.

I came in today craving rice noodles with beef. When the dish arrived it looked fine but as I picked up some of the noodles to eat I noticed a horrible burned smell. I then brought the plate closer to me and took another whiff and oh God was it bad. I highly recommend the owner buy a few new woks for the restaurant instead of cutting cost on kitchen equipment as their chefs literally burned that WOK that they use. You can get the best food in the world then put it in a burned wok and let it smell and taste like burned food. Took the fish back and sent me a new one only to arrive with the same smell and taste. Owner needs to sit down and have a word with his chefs and he can start off by first buying them 4 new woks so they have different WOKS to use for different foods and teach them how to sear the WOKS properly too. Sad how a good meal was ruined due to poor poor restaurant equipment. Can’t cut cost on the main item you use to cook meals with and you have to have quite a few so they don’t veggies in a WOK they just used to make a heavy sauces item only to ruin the new upcoming dish. Separate WOK for different dishes and replace old WOKs with new WOKS every time they smell burned. Also buy higher quality WOKS as well. People that have not lost their sense of smell and taste after COVID can easily taste and smell the taste of burned food from a bad WOK and taste of other foods in it as well. Came back today as I was craving some Hainan chicken to give them another try. Tried their Hainan chicken and the chicken tasted beyond horrible. It tasted like the cheapest chicken that had gone bad which was then just boiled in water. On a 1-10 scale this Hainan chicken plate was literally a 1. If I was the owner I would fire those responsible but I reckon the owner wants to cut cost so he buys the cheapest chicken and is also not using fresh chicken. Last but not least chef is either beyond horrible or just following manager and owner’s orders. Cost me $18.30 to have to leave my dish on the table and leave as it was just horrible. This is good for people who just eat anything and say “Oh wow this was great” 🤪🤦‍♂️

My husband and I we frequent this place often. The wonton soup is delicious! We also love their filet mignon beef dinner. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean.

Ordinary food is nothing exceptional. I ordered enchiladas but it was super salty . They charge for the chips and salsa. It is a bit pricey. The atmosphere was ok . You need to park across and walk to the restaurant.

Puesto in Irvine delivers some seriously delicious tacos, fresh, flavorful, and full of creative twists. The ambiance is lively and modern, making it a great spot for casual dining or a fun night out. However, the ceviche was a letdown. It lacked the brightness and balance you’d expect, feeling more like a side dish than a star. Still, if you’re here for tacos, you’re in for a treat. Service was solid, and the drinks are worth trying too. Just skip the ceviche and stick with what they clearly do best.

I went there for lunch and everything was fantastic. The gal that waited on me was very friendly, the food was amazing. I'm giving it a four-star because at the very end of my meal it appeared that a manager was issuing disciplinary action to an employee, one table away from where I was sitting. I thought that was extremely unprofessional.

I really enjoyed this place. I dont usually get margaritas, theyre usually too sweet or too sour...just too juicy, but the cadillac marg was very good. I had the Esquite (street corn dip) to start. The flavor was great but I feel it could have used a bit more cheese & crema. Beyond the thin top layer, it was just corn. I had two tacos...the taco of the month, a pork should of some sort & the filet mignon. The pork shoulder was amazing. The filet was cooked nicely & a decent cut of meat, but for me the pieces were too big for a taco. I ended up eating it with a knife & fork. The crispy cheese blanket on the tacos was awesome. The service was great. I was greeted quickly and she was very knowledgeable & attentive. The atmosphere was fun, modern & clean. The music wasnt too loud, which happens too often. Theres plenty of seating as well.

The place looks nice People are friendly. Food and Drinks are way too expensive. The bar is Filthy mold visible from sitting at the bar. Bathroom had mold present behind sink and was dirty. I don’t want to know how the kitchen looks. See photos of the bar

We had an amazing experience at Puesto’s, thanks to our incredible waiter, Spencer. Despite being the only server on staff, Spencer never missed a beat. He was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we (Oma & Eugenia) were taken care of. Spencer was able to described dishes with such clarity and enthusiasm that it made choosing our meals a delight. Spencer’s calm and professional demeanor made the evening so enjoyable, even during a busy rush. We left not only impressed by the food but truly grateful for the outstanding service. We absolutely enjoyed Spencer and let’s not forget Ms. Maureen (she is lovely). Can’t wait to come back! MENU SELECTION: 1. Jalapeños Caesar salad with a side of grilled chicken. The overall experience was a good one. Parking is always tight in that parking lot. The fried chicken on rice was primarily dark meat. It was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The beef roll was interesting, a bit salty but good. You need the order price guide to mirror up with menu to see what each item costs. A unique way to fluctuate the prices.

Been going to A& J Restaurant since I was a kid. My favorite is their Cold Peanut Noodles and Beef Rolls. The menus include both photos of the food and a checklist of what to order (mainly in Chinese, but you can match the order number to the checklist). Note: Weekends can get busy, so you will be asked to leave when you are done dining in. Overall, a great place if you are craving Taiwanese food like Beef Noodles Soup, Noodles, Green Onion Pancake, and Beef Rolls.

The front of the plaza is always hard to find parking. The trick is to park at the back, and there is always parking available. I was there on a Sunday, and we waited about 15-20 mins to get a table. After we got seated, we felt they rushed us to place our order. They checked with us once every 30 seconds. I would say it is great customer service and I totally understand because they have a line. The prices are reasonable and not overly expensive. The food tastes authentic. I felt the dining area a bit tight, tables are very close together.

This restaurant is an absolute gem. True to Taiwanese cuisine its beef noodle soup is authentic and delicious. The braised pork belly and cucumber dishes are also amazing. Service is notably friendly too. Just beware that this is a popular spot so there can be a long line during noon and early evening.

The nastiest place I have been to so far. 0 stars. We found hair in our noodles, which the waiter then clarified that it was the beef tendon’s hair. However the way she explained it was not the kindest. She kept saying “is that right?” as if I was supposed to know? If it really was the beef tendon’s hair maybe you guys should have cleaned it properly because this is my first time seeing beef tendon hair. Second of all, this could have been solved by explaining it to us nicely or offering us something or even putting that bowl of noodle on the house. All of the other dishes were below average too in terms of taste AND presentation. Please do not come.

The beef noodle soup (szechuan style) was delicious, where it was nice and warming to the heart! The szechuan style is definitely better and what I really think of when I think if beef noodle soup, but the clear broth was also good, giving a lighter experience!

Baekjeong Irvine consistently delivers an exceptional Korean BBQ experience, making it a must-visit for meat lovers. The quality of their prime cuts is outstanding, perfectly complemented by a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. From the attentive service to the flavorful banchan, every detail contributes to a memorable and satisfying meal. My only complaint is the music is soo loud, hard ro have conversation.

I love Korean BBQ and this one is my favorite place. Even it’s not all you can eat but the Large Beef Combo was enough for the 4 of us and we didn’t have to cook the meat ourselves. Their eggs and corn cheese can be refilled. And other condiments like kimchi and stuffs can also be refilled. Overall it’s a good bbq place

Good taste, clean and fresh ingredients, someone will help you grill the meat. Everything is good except for the super long wait time, we waited for like 40mins to get seated. The new marinated meal set is awesome

This place is one of the top and best Korean restaurants in the country and we've been to many, from east to west coast, and all over Korea. Amazing food, great service, very good environment. Japchae was delicious, love thinner noodles they use. Marinated galbee (short ribs) to die for, top quality meat: Beef tongue was excellent. Great portion sizes for price and quality is top notch. Best korean food restaurant hands down from quality of food to service and ambience.

Very nice spot to grab a quick family meal in the area. Food was flavorful and the service was prompt when refilling drinks and side dishes. As we all know with KBBQ, side dishes can make or break a meal. That being said, keep in mind they rotate them monthly, so occasionally they may not have the ones you prefer. The servers are very friendly but are a little frantic since they are required to cook for you. Some guests enjoy this, but I guess I am old stool, since I would prefer to cook for myself. Once again, overall a nice place for a good meal.

This rooftop is at the top of the Marriott hotel. The music, ambiance and the view are amazing. I wasn’t impressed with the appetizers, the presentation was nice but the Burrata salad was bland and the chicken and waffle appetizer was small and not as good as I expected. Overall is a nice place to get drinks and have a good time.

Nice views from the rooftop. Quite a few seats were blocked off, unfortunately. But they do have overhead infrared heaters. Tuna poke was very tasty and fresh. Ordered an old-fashioned with Buffalo Trace and watched bartender pour Bullet, which is basically alcohol infused dirty dish water. Oddly, they don’t accept cash. And even more oddly, if you are staying in the hotel, you have to go down to the lobby and catch a different elevator to the rooftop bar.

Dope rooftop near Irvine Spectrum Logistics: on top of the Marriott. Valet parking only $15. Walked in and was told only bar service as tables were reserved. However I opened my phone and made a reservation (plenty listed) and immediately got a table. So make a resy! Vibe: DJ on Saturday night great. Hip hop/throwback R&B. Few people started dancing once the evening went on. Mainly at the second bar. Still lots of room at the other bar. Drinks were good. Did not try any food. Limited menu. $20+ dollars for French fries. Eat before!

Overall great location, with good view over Irvine and nearby mountains. Gets hot easily due to the direction of the sun, and few places with shade. Food was tasty, 8/10, with small portions.

Feels like you’re in a NY loft bar and privileged to have the only rooftop view of south Orange County. Bartenders are top notch and make you feel welcome. Food is well planned with a cultured menu emphasizing the Asian diversity of the area. I cannot get enough of the calamari and the Spectrum Sunset cocktail. Also, a lovely hostess named Sasha greets you upon arrival which just sets the mood.

My wife made reservations for a Saturday night and was advised that we would have a 90 minute time limit. Once we arrived to the Marriot hotel, they only offered valet parking service. Be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes due to the influx of cars and the cost is $18.00 for 3 hours with validation. Once inside we made our way across the lobby to the elevator. The rooftop bar offers a nice view and I would recommend taking a pair of sunglasses and a jacket. The food portions are quite small, but the mixed drinks are great! Our server Antonio was on point and the entire staff is hospitable. They had a good music selection being played as we sipped on our alcoholic beverages and enjoyed the California sunset.

Cool spot for a drink. DJ had a cool vibe. Didn't have any food, but the drinks were good. Friendly staff, but getting sat at our reserved table took a bit considering that they were not busy. Also server disappeared after telling him we were done with drinks. Had to hunt him down for the check.

Marugame serves well-portioned meals. Every time I visit, the udon warms my heart and the accompanying tempura taste and feel amazing to have. There’s usually a line but it’s genuinely not super bad. I went at noon on Sunday and it was less than 15 minutes to get my food. 🍜 Nikutama (L) - I definitely underestimated the portions. Giant bowl of udon with a rich broth - think sukiyaki but less sweet. I really enjoyed slurping on the noodles. The beef is made in bulk so they’re cooked thoroughly but wish it was softer. I added Tempura crisps that melt away into nothing so enjoy it first! 🍗 Dark Chicken Tempura - the piece I got felt like a whole thigh. The tempura layer added a soft crisp vs the typical hard crunch of fried chicken. The chicken itself felt very well seasoned and not dry inside. 🍠 Sweet Potato Tempura - this tempura was great. The soft, warm sweet potato was wrapped in a light later of tempura.

Marugame Udon delivers on flavor and freshness, no doubt about that! The udon was absolutely delicious – rich broth, perfectly chewy noodles, and super satisfying. The shrimp tempura was light, crispy, and had just the right crunch. However, the seating area was way too cramped. It was a struggle to get to my seat, and the tight spacing made it a bit uncomfortable to enjoy the meal. If the layout were more spacious, the experience would be even better. That said, the food was fantastic, and I’d still recommend it if you don’t mind a bit of a squeeze. 4 stars for great food, but not-so-great seating.

This is third time I tried this place. Every single time it getting worse. This time I get number 2 (Creamy Broth) and the udon taste like plastic. This place is known for their udon but it taste like package udon you left in the fridge for awhile. The broth is creamy but on salty side. Shrimp Tempura is really small for the price. This place sitting is always crowded. It feels like you in sardines can. There are many better udon place around this area. This is place is mediocre and expensive.

The food at Marugame Udon was fantastic! I was especially impressed with the tempura—it was huge and tasted delicious with the udon soup. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the experience was great. I highly recommend it!

It felt like I was home when I was eating here. The udon was perfect and chewy. The curry was the perfect balance. The staff were great and friendly from the moment I was in.

Very good! Got a large miso udon. Loved how it was hokkaido style. Very filling. My husband got the tan tan and enjoyed it as well.

So good!! One of the affordable places in South Coast Plaza. Food is really good but lines can get really long around lunch time. Also, not a ton of seating, so that can be a problem. May need to wait for a table, which can also take a while.

Finally made it here on a weekday to avoid the extensive lines. Glad I didn’t wait an hour on a weekend. Food was good and was surprised how fast it hit the table after our order. Simple dishes here but tasty. Disappointed that there are two coffee options, hot and Vietnamese, this was a miss for me and anyone who may want an espresso beverage. Enjoyed it overall but wouldn’t wait in the line for it.

We came here during a soccer tournament do the lines were very long but worth the wait. We love these pancakes!! So light and fluffy. We came here twice during our short weekend there. My only complaint is that there is not a place in the Bay Area like this! I wish they would open up a store in NorCal!!

Solid place with super interesting souffle pancakes. I got the peach ones - despite peach in everything, the flavor wasn't overwhelming. The pancakes had a texture not unlike bao buns, but personally I preferred this texture. Great food. Ordering was at the counter, but food was brought to the table - the servers were great, but the service model isn't my favorite.

Absolutely AMAZING! The food was delicious and the wait time surprisingly prompt for the amount of people that were there. The reason the atmosphere got a4 for me is because it's next to many other businesses and very adjacent to a busy parking lot, so, it's pretty busy! But, you don't notice add much because your food tastes soooo good! I'm going back for SURE!

I have been meaning to try this place for a while. I just need to try their pancakes. I came around noon on a weekday and parking was hard to find but got parking in a couple of minutes. Then I saw their menu and there is something for everyone. I went with a seasonal pancake flavor peach. I was able to find seating for one inside. They also have seating outs side. They also have restrooms inside. Got my food quickly. Would definitely recommend this place.

I finally found the viral jiggly pancakes in Irvine! Burnt Crumbs has been here for a hot minute, y'all better not come for me for only finding out about it now, but hey, better late than never. I had to try their bestselling flavor that's topped with fresh strawberries and strawberry cream, and the souffle pancakes definitely hit the spot. And you know the moment when they bring out a dish for the table next to you and you're like I want that, immediately? Their Classic club sandwich... I was struggling to eat this because of how HUGE it is, I thought it was skewered with a freakin' chopstick lol, and comes with a HEAPING amount of fries. Thanks for reading! ^-^

Even in Mother's Day and a line around the corner, the service was quick and with a smile. This was our first time here as we looked for a good restaurant near Frazier the Lion plaque. It turned out to be a great choice. The strawberry soufle was light, fluffy, and excellent. The quesadea was good and very filling (I would split it next time). The other meal was the eggs, and they were great too. The long line moved fairly well. Parking was in the lot.

I can’t say this is the best Peking duck — more like the Peking duck that lives down the street and is just good enough when I’m too lazy to drive further. The food is a solid three stars, the service is fine, nothing outstanding. I keep coming back though, mostly because it’s within walking distance. Sometimes it surprises me in a good way, other times I wonder if the chef is on vacation and left his cousin in charge.

Plenty of parking but can be crowded, especially on the weekend. Fantastic service from the server, details and attentive. The foods are very tasty and fresh. The duck sliced right in front of you and well plated. Great dinner overall.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday and there was no wait. We ordered the half Meizhou roast duck ($49.99), A choy ($17.99), and braised pork with brown sauce and bamboo shoots ($26.99). The Peking duck was not the best I've had. It was thinly sliced, but didn't have much meat. The meat wasn't noticeably tender or flavorful, and the skin wasn't noticeably crispy. There was a heater underneath the plate to keep the duck warm so that was interesting. They gave us thin pancakes instead of the traditional buns, so I wasn’t a fan of the pancakes either. For the price, I expected the Peking duck to be mindblowingly good. The braised pork was solid, but not the most tender. The A choy was good and not too salty. Ambiance is nice and service is good. They filled our water frequently throughout the meal. Overall, I wasn't impressed by the food here.

This is an incredibly authentic Sichuan restaurant! We used to eat at this chain often when we were living in China, where they have many locations. We were so surprised and excited to find one here in Irvine! The service is warm and welcoming, and the flavors are just as authentic as we remembered from China. Highly recommend trying it out — make sure to order the Peking Duck, Mapo Tofu, and Bang Bang Chicken. They may look spicy, but they are actually rich in flavor and absolutely delicious!

The furniture is in a horrible shape there (see pics) and it's very overpriced for what they serve. Only duck was fine but the other dish was mostly peanuts and not tasty at all. No napkins in the bathroom etc. And almost 100$ for a lunch for 2. Service was friendly but nothing special. I am not coming back.

I had lunch here with my husband and we couldn’t believe how delicious all of the food was. I ordered the ma po tofu which had the perfect amount of spiciness and the roast duck was cooked to perfection and not greasy at all. Can’t wait to come back.

This is a popular Sichuan cuisine restaurant in the area, so if you’re planning to visit on the weekend, make sure to make a reservation in advance. Otherwise, expect to wait at least half an hour at the door. Although it’s a Sichuan restaurant, they oddly advertise Peking duck as their specialty, which is usually a red flag for me. The duck is just okay, to be honest, but reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the other dishes seem overpriced, in my opinion. The pig knuckle is tender, but the spicy sauce is far too salty, so watch out for that. Overall, it’s a decent Chinese restaurant. Perhaps my expectations were too high before coming here since everyone seems to rave about it.

The location is convenient and the food is good. But they’re now serving their meals in paper boxes. It’s very unappealing, makes you feel like you’re eating a soup kitchen. I mean, I understand, trying to cut cost, but not at the expense of serving your food and low-grade paper boxes. Based on that, I’ll never eat here again. I suggest you go to places that treat their customers a little better.

The food was okay. Nothing special. The service makes me not want to come back. I was felt rushed during the food selection process and the food was quickly put together. Its like this person wanted to be finished with my order and me as soon as possible.

I was so happy to find this place during my diet. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. There are so many choices, even my favorite wild bluefin tuna. Try to avoid lunchtime, but they move quickly, and you don't have to wait too long to be served, even if the line looks long.

I tried this placed for the first time with my family after picking them up from the airport. The food quality, selection and portions were wonderful! Very flavorful and fresh! If you like poke bowls, this place is worth it!

Normally I have a good experience here, but I am upset with the girl who was doing the first set of toppings after picking out my size (around 12:15pm on November 10). It was very loud inside and I couldn’t hear what she said so i asked “excuse me?” to hear her more clearly. She ignored me and started giving me toppings I didn’t ask for. I thought maybe it was for a different order, so I tried to brush it off. Then, the guy scooping the fish asked what i wanted and showed that my box was the one she put the toppings i never explicitly asked for, so I asked the guy to take out the crab meat and just accepted the other toppings to avoid the hassle. I asked the girl again what she said earlier because it was hard to hear. She spoke very softly and said “mix”. I never explicitly said to give me the mix. She seemed super out of it and seemed to not bother paying attention to what I said when i asked her “excuse me?” when i couldn’t hear her initially. Please make sure you pay attention to what your customers are asking so you don’t dump toppings they never asked for. You can also ask the customer to repeat themselves if you couldn’t hear them, so there is no miscommunication. This girl was blatantly careless. Didn’t care she got me the wrong toppings or bother apologizing and try to fix the mistake. Her mind seemed to be in a different place. Edit 1: Hi PokeDot, thank you for responding to my concerns quickly. I was wearing a blue jacket, off-white shirt, black business pants, and big tan purse. Maybe you’ll see me in the camera footage past the 12:25PM mark. The worker that got me upset was the one responsible for Step 2 (Choosing our mix). I think she wore glasses. Thank you! I still enjoy your food. Was just really upset by that worker’s severely lack of care and attention.

My family and I best place for Poki Friendly people and great servings

Visited this place two times in the past few weeks. Their protein portions were alot and can't complain. Three scoops were very filing and you have an option to divide it into two. Worth of your money and highly recommended.....A+++++ shout out to Rayson and Alex for being helpful, fast and friendly.
