We had a lovely time. It is a quiet park with lots of open space to walk and mill about. The park has several plaques and neat diorama of what it looked like in its peak. Start at the parking lot and it is pretty easy to follow.

Really cool historical park. They have some great signage and the park is well taken care of. Definitely worth checking out! Especially if you are a history buff.

It's a nifty little place to visit. Emphasis on little. The entire place can be walked and viewed in about 20 minutes. Still it's nice to see the historic structures.

It was exciting to read about the rich history that had once been there. The signs were detailed and helpful. I'm sure there is a restroom somewhere there but I could not find it. Also, be aware that if you're trying to look at the bell tower, there might be a wait as the area has become quite a photo spot for a professional photography. We had to wait at least 10 minutes to get up to it through two separate photo shoots. But once we were inside it was nice to see the pretty brick structure.

Neat little state park to visit that you can tell is very well kept. This isn't somewhere I could imagine spending hours upon hours at, but it's good for a quick visit. There's an easy trail to follow which has several signs up with short educational reads. $3 for an adult to get in which you pay via cash envelope at the entrance. There are picnic tables available and trash cans. Plenty of parking available, dog friendly (on a leash). Bring bug spray!

Beautiful spot!!!! I have passed it so many times and finally drove in. It was pretty empty when I went and it was so peaceful. I was surprised that there weren’t any garbage cans anywhere, but impressed there was no sight of litter. Very clean and nature filled walk to check out the history in the area. Ruins are very well preserved. Great space to walk around and enjoy the outdoors! Also, it is dog friendly :)

Very cool place to stroll through and take in all of its historical facts! This place has remainence dating back to the revolutionary War that are still partially standing! There is also a quick little hiking trail that I would rate to be moderate in difficulty. Not very big as far as area and you could see what it has to offer in less than 45 minutes. There is parking, a restroom, and a small 3$ fee to enter.

Such a cute place with really wonderful and well educated team members. We've lived in Summerville for four years and visited for the first time today. I learned a lot and so did my girls (8) and (9).

Oh my this museum is super informative. Lots of great history about our beautiful area. One of the newest additions is the Palmetto Paleontology Museum is absolutely astonishing. All local fossil found right here in SC. Skye Basak and Josh Basak are two very knowledgeable fossil hunters. Don’t miss this opportunity to visit this exhibit while in Summerville.

The docent was so thoughtful! Tickets are 10$ for adults and children are free. The bird scavenger hunt is so neat!

This is a fascinating little museum with a lot of history about Summerville. It was well worth the time to go see it.

You walk in and are greeted . 10$ for adults 8$ for military . No wait and you can pay there . Sign in so they can receive grants . We wanted to go here to learn more about Summerville and the history . I recently moved here due to a PCS . You can walk around and listen to a QR code app or a volunteer can take you through and talk about everything (which we did) she was very knowledgeable. I didn’t feel uncomfortable or feel negative vibes . Just a really nice informative place with some cool artifacts from the area . I was blown away with some things I learned ! Would recommend to locals and travelers

Had a tour guide who gave us the your (included in the ticket price). She was wonderful.

Great place to go starting at 8am to 1pm on a Saturday. So many vegetable/fruit vendors and artisan/artists vendors, food vendors and miscellaneous vendors to start the day. Plenty of free easy accessible parking. Handicap friendly too. There is law enforcement in sight, and people friendly. This is an enjoyable place.

We went on a rainy Saturday, found the perfect parking spot. The coffee stand was great! Everyone was so nice. Some of the vendors need a sales class but we bought some Olive Oil and Flowers, some coffee and snacks, it was a good time

Always love this Market!! It's small & local & has all the good stuff! I got THE BEST egg salad & granola from St.Honore tent. And elderberry tea from Sea Island Organics. Also picked up a jambalaya for my hubby from Culinary Creations. Haven't tried it yet.

We are thrilled be a part of the Summerville Farmers Market on a rotating basis giving us the opportunity to interact and educate the community on living at optimal health. The staff is organized and the other vendors were so welcoming. They have a great variety from home goods and plants to great produce and snacks (we got lucky and got a booth by the coffee, smelled great!!) Very nice farmers market. Everyone at the vendors were very nice, and hospitable. Lots of choices from fruits, veggies, hand made crafts too. All types of cool stuff to choose from. Decent amount of vendors. We got some good stuff!

Love this farmers market. We especially love visiting Blue Sky Sunny Day Farm stand. They are the only organic stand there! They have organic veggies, eggs, meats and have a bunch of other goodies also. They have baked goods from a local bakery and A2 milk as well as raw milk. Next to the organic farm stand is someone who sells local honey. His honey is the BEST! There is also someone at the market that makes wonderful soaps that we love to get. And the person who sells plants is also very reasonably priced.

Beautiful little would be a good place to bring kids or a pup if you wanted to have a picnic or to read wide paths if you have a stroller lots of shade under the tall trees, lots of places to stop and rest and they have a turtle pond ,

I have never been at this park before but it is clean, beautiful and big. My daughter and I walked around and it was peaceful. We were there for about 2 hours. The turtle pond was cute and seeing all thr dedication headstones was beautiful too.

This was my first time visiting this park and I took my dog Baxter there for a late morning walk. This is an awesome park! Perfect for taking a quick stroll, walking your dog, getting in some light reading on a park bench or munching on some food at a picnic table. If you want to get out of the house or take a quick break from work, this park is a great place to go.

This park is beautiful. This is a great place to bring family on any day. The view here is beautiful. There's a pond full of life. Many turtles and fish are able to be seen. This is such a cute place to have a picnic or bring small children to play. There's no playground but lots of benches and life around.

One of my favorite places to exist with nature for a bit. Quiet, beautiful scenery, not many people, small path with plenty of places to sit. There is a turtle pond with a TON of turtles and a couple of gazebos. Definitely visit if you're in the area and have 30 minutes to spare.

Great and diverse selection of unique and antique/vintage items for good prices. Come check them out and find something, trust me they have what you're looking for.

Worth the stop if you enjoy large antique stores with lots of booths! We stopped here on vacation and spent about 45 min to run through the store. Give yourself at least an hour! Many of the booths had sales and lots of variety. Some vendors sold new items mixed in.

So much to look at. It can be overwhelming but you can find so many good things. It brings back lots of memories too. Puts a smile on your face. Very nice, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.

My daughter and I travel all over the country visiting antique stores all along the way. No matter how big or small, high prices or reasonable prices; we have one universal rule that we follow no matter how bad we may want to purchase something. If the staff never speaks we don’t buy anything. Not only did the staff (2 females) not speak when we entered, they never spoke when we were at the jewelry counters to even ask if they could help us with something? Ironically there were several items that I was interested in which were two antique diamond rings and a Native American Squash. The squash alone was $2,550 and I am unsure if the two diamond rings because I wasn’t able to see the tags tucked into the ring box. Multiple opportunities were given to speak, offer assistance or even a “hello” and never happened. I always feel bad for the vendors that are trying to sell items in these stores with poor staff. They both spoke to others, maybe they don’t care for out of towners.

The 3 gals working were the sweetest! I found sooo many unique items. We were traveling and needed more room in our vehicles for the many things that were available for purchase. My best find was a cake cover that can be used as a bowl and a serving tray.

Amazing finds at this huge shop! Great prices, too. I was looking for a "Pop" piece of furniture for my foyer. I ended up making three trips here, and buying three beautiful and very useful pieces for different rooms. They have lots of furniture in excellent condition, in addition to the usual antique shop items. This was actually my first visit to this store, but it certainly won't be the last.

So much fun to shop here. So much to see i had to take several passes. They are super helpful if you are looking for something special.

#2 in our quest. Right here in Summerville. Great beer with German style slant. I had their Elch Dunkel (ABV, 5.8%) Keeping our social distancing but great to be out and about.

Amazing beer selection! We loved visiting and playing games as we enjoyed our beer. My husband loves being able to see all the equipment and brewing set up as he enjoys home brewing.

A nice place. Very "homey". Veteran owned which boosts it's status to me. They tend to favor German types of beers, but offer a very nice variety of home brews. Staff is friendly and provide lots of guidance regarding their beers. It would be great if they offered munchies, but currently, they have menus for outside restaurants to deliver. The beers were excellent and I will definitely be returning there often.

Really cool place to eat. It’s inside of an old power plant from 1903. Our server was amazing and the food was reasonable and arguably the best meal we had on our trip to Charleston.

A really great place to get chef quality food at a great price. Craft cocktails, unique beers, and of course, the excellent food. Friendly staff, who work extremely hard to make sure that you have a great visit. Highly recommend!

First time going to icehouse I just moved from NH was craving a steak tip salad ,I got the Icrhouse salad with rare steaktips, the steak is good but I think they could of thrown in bigger steak TIPS not steak strips? I asked for rare, by the time i got home the strips were a med well , a solid 3 fat TIPS would of been worth the 8$ but 5 thin strips I feel isnt worth the 8$ upcharge but it was still absolutely 10/10 delicious, the hostesses were very nice and the place was clean and full of customers, ill be back but might get something else give it a few tries before I move again, the salad was also delicious

We really liked the food. Took a table outdoors (next to the kids playground?) to avoid the wait. Then got hit with an unknown admin fee (first time for that). Id ditch the playground and put more tables outside. Really enjoyed the food though.

Great place to eat and very family friendly. However, I have one major issue that is non negotiable. The patio/beer garden allows people to smoke. There is a great kids area and the restaurant allows people to smoke in this area. There were about 15 kids playing tonight and everything was great until people started lighting their cigarettes. I would add 2.5 stars if smoking was not allowed. There is plenty of room to smoke cigarettes on the front porch or out by the street.

I always enjoy visiting The Icehouse when I'm in town. The menu is stable and not too large. They have several staple items and they do them well. The food is delicious and not over the top expensive. The hostess service needs a little work. There were 3 young ladies standing at the desk with minimal things to do. We had a party of 8/9 and they were not helpful in terms of working with us for seating. They refused to move tables closer together to accommodate my party outside and they seemed bewildered about how to arrange tables inside for the same concern. In addition to standing around and doing minimal activities, they did not help the front wait staff with napkins, water, etc. I guess it's the downside of having staff under thw age of 23 working for you.

A few years ago, a friend invited me to see the play “Clue” at Flowertown Players. It surpassed all of my expectations for community theatre. It was hilarious! This past November, I noticed Flowertown Players was having auditions for Into the Woods, one of my all-time favorite musicals. My wife helped me work up the courage to audition, and to my surprise, Flowertown Players has become my new home. The sense of community that you feel at FTP is unlike any other theatre I’ve ever been a part of. The directors care about you. They treat you like old friends we’ve known forever, and you have a blast connecting with people of all different backgrounds. Furthermore, the president of the theatre meets you in person, supports every show and hugs the actors like they’re family. She also attends every outreach to get the next generation of theatre nerds to be a part of the magic. This isn’t just a community theatre to see some plays and musicals. This is the heart of downtown Summerville, a haven for actors, techies, musicians and everything in between with day jobs that have nothing to do with theatre… and the place where I finally feel at home. Whether you’re a patron buying a ticket or you’re a body on the stage - you’re appreciated and loved at Flowertown Players. 10/10 recommend!

Great actors and well done!!! Saw the performance of " A Christmas Story " today with my husband and son. This was our first play we had attended at Flowertown and was not disappointed. Awesome environment and very family friendly and kind people. The actors are amazing and please show your support and go see them. We can't wait to go and see more plays asap!!! My wife and I moved to SC a couple of years ago and thankfully were introduced to the theater shorty thereafter. We have enjoyed multiple shows- comedies and musicals. Every show we have seen has been stellar. The staff has always been kind, inviting and helpful. The cast has always been amazing and on point! Most recently I saw the show Noises Off. I think the theater did an excellent job at communicating the “mature audience” or “adult content” with the show. Ok, yes, it has some language and some sexual references and innuendos, but nothing that takes away from the show. This show is hilariously chaotic. The cast is hilarious—each one fully embracing their character/s. Gosh, I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard at a live performance than I did in the second act. Kudos to y’all. This small theater truly is a GEM in the low country. Check it out! I promise you will not be disappointed.

I’ve been to a few productions this year and have thoroughly enjoyed them! Noises off is the play showing right now, and I recommend for a good laugh and appreciation for theater performances. This play is chaotically wonderful and brilliantly executed! The atmosphere is fun and the people are amazing.

I had the pleasure of seeing “Murder On The Orient Express” on opening night this past weekend. It was fabulous! The play has it all-mystery, intrigue, laughter; and of course, murder. The cast did an amazing job and kudos to the actor who played Poirot-that was a challenging role and the actor more than met the challenge. I also have to mention the behind the scenes folks. They pulled off some technical magic-very impressive. If you are anywhere near Summerville you need to catch this show!

Just saw their rendition of Clue and loved every minute of it! It's a small theatre, but the actors were great and the show was very well done. A wonderful place to spend a couple of hours watching an enjoyable show. Great for a date night or get together. 10/10 would definitely go back!

This place has a lot of cool stuff, but woah these people are seriously disorganized. Lots of items apparently don’t have price tags, so there was a lot of going back & forth trying to figure out what to charge… spent 20 minutes checking out 3 people in front of us. Lots of apologies for delays with no attempt to speed things up as the line grew, while also carrying on casual conversation with whoever they were checking out. Seemed very scatterbrained.

I love this park. There are a ton of different things to do. They have a bathroom area and it's decent. They have tire swings, two slides, an area for small kids and big kids, and even a place for parties.

Gahagan Park is a parenting lifesaver. The massive wooden playground looks like someone gave a bunch of kids a hammer and said, “Build your dream fort,” and honestly? They nailed it. It’s clean, safe, and 100% capable of draining energy out of even the most hyper. Then you've got sports fields as far as the eye can see—baseball, soccer, football—basically a mini Olympics every weekend. One second you're cheering your kid on, the next you're bribing them with snacks to leave.

The playground is great but we have encounter people smoking in the parking lot and the smoke travels to the kids area. There is no park officials to enforce the rules. The whole area should be a no smoking place.

Love coming here. They have baseball fields and a track that a lot of people enjoy to get a little exercise. You will also find a nice long trail running the back of the park and kids will enjoy the wonderful big playground. The playground features the biggest wood castle with bridges and cute hiding places it is secured with an all around fence to make it safe for moms to let the kids roam around. All around it’s perfect for families and everyone in between.

I love this park for my kids! I went here as a kid and now I get to take my kids here. What's great about this place is that it's gated all the way around so your kids don't get out of sight. They have bathrooms opened to everyone, picnic tables for eating and for birthday parties and plenty of space to play. It's big enough for adults to get up there and play too! Outside the park are baseball fields as well. It's free to get in but they do close after dark.

Spacious playground that has recreational activities for children ages 1-14. Tall trees with high canopies throughout the play area casts a cool shade across the breadth of the park, even on the hottest summer days. Free access and free parking, as well as bathroom facilities and water fountains.

We had a 540 tee time. Sprinklers turned on when we got to hole 6. Then they turned on at hole 7, 8, and 9. Food at the club was okay, service not so much... Drinks never came, took a long time, just not the vibes we were after.

Legend Oaks Golf Club – Charleston, SC ★★☆☆☆ (2 out of 5) Legend Oaks has the bones of a good golf course with a nice layout and playable design, but unfortunately, the overall experience fell short. Course Conditions: The layout itself is enjoyable, but the greens were badly burnt out—something that could easily be addressed with better maintenance. As a suggestion, reducing the square footage of the greens and focusing more on quality could go a long way. Also, it’s baffling that they placed the pins right in the middle of the most damaged areas. The cart paths are also in rough shape and need serious repair. Golf Carts: While the GPS carts helped us get around, the tires were completely bald—slipping on dry grass is not something you expect on a summer day in Charleston. Definitely overdue for an upgrade. GPS Policy: The GPS system restricts carts to 50 yards from all greens. For senior golfers, this is not ideal. When you combine that with uneven terrain and the inability to bring a sand can or carry multiple clubs, it really takes away from the short game experience. It’s hard to keep good turf when golfers can’t repair divots or play efficiently. Atmosphere & Staff: The course atmosphere didn’t feel welcoming. The pro shop attendant asked me to change into a collared shirt—no problem—but when I returned wearing a Goodwill polo after taking off my $80 v-neck, he told me I “looked better.” Ironically, they don’t even sell shirts in the shop. That summed up the vibe—overly picky and underwhelming. Final Thoughts: It’s clear why Legend Oaks advertises heavily on GolfNow—something most Charleston-area courses don’t have to do. They need to attract customers, and this experience makes it easy to see why. I really wanted to like it, but between the poor maintenance, bad customer service, and unfriendly policies, I just can’t recommend it.

Pace of play was slow, the tee boxes are in horrible condition, the fairways and roughage have not been well-maintained. I played here several years ago before new ownership took over and loved it. Unfortunately, this course has gone downhill and I will not be playing here again.

Is there some sort of fungus growing? The greens are absolutely horrible and did not see one maintenance person out there trying to fix it. Mind blown that they think they can get $85 for a round there. 2 holes didn't even have tee markers. Very poor management. Even with the hot deal, it's not even close to worth it. I can only assume they are letting it go to shit so they can sell it to a developer to build more homes. There's no other reason why zero care goes into it.

Course was in terrible shape. Most of the greens were unplayable and we still paid over $80 for 18 holes. The golf cart was basically falling apart. We tried to get hot dogs at the turn and the buns were so stale you couldn’t even get them open. Just overall disappointing.

Way over over priced for the condition the course is in. Paid $60 TO WALK 18 holes on a Wednesday. They ate more expensive than Charleston national and Wescott and are nit even comparable in quality. Used to be a hidden gem with a reasonable rate now completely opposite.

Course tight in many areas, no driver needed for many holes. Lots of dog legs. Greens very slow and bumpy in areas thar still have grass, difficult to putt effectively. Cart path i need of repair, many holes with cart restrictions which you only find out about when cart locks up and you need to reverse it, very inconvenient. Overall, not very impressive for a fairly expensive course.

We just had my daughter’s 11th birthday here and we are so happy this was the place we chose. It is the perfect place to have a birthday party, not too loud and rowdy. All the kids had so much fun, even the parents! The party hosts were also very polite and helpful. 10/10 recommend. Thanks for a great experience!

Had my nephews birthday party here. I wasn't sure about it because I thought that not all kids like to play video games. However, all the kids had a blast. Even the adults were playing. We also had fun playing ping-pong. My nephew had a great time. The staff was helpful and there whenever we had a question and the place was very clean.

This made my gamer son so happy. Enrolled my son in a fortnite league where he gets to compete against other kids all playing on individual screens in the same room. They also have open play times and hangouts with pizza and drinks. This is a great place for my son to come and share his love of gaming with other kids. I appreciate the atmosphere, cleanliness, and organization. PS... it's not just for kids... I like it too.

This place is awesome. Great equipment, great space, and lots of fun for the whole family. My son and his friends competed in a tournament, I really enjoyed spectating and watching them spectate other competitors. I highly recommend this business for good family friendly fun.

We just moved to the area from out of state and this league has been a life saver for my son! It is such an awesome way for kids who don’t love sports to be part of a team and play together in person. Going to UEG is the highlight of my sons week! He has also gotten a lot better from the coaching he gets there.

Great resteraunt. Service can be a little slow but we went at the end of lunch service. I love tortellini so I had the FLC salad. I usually get the Tri-colored tortellini at dinner. The only place I know that serves it.

Delicious meal. Chicken parmigiana was absolutely devine. Breaded chicken breast with fresh pasta. Chicken meatballs were amazing. Caesar salad was perfect. Tortellini was a nice touch. Homemade potato soup was great. Enjoyed the honeyberry sweet tea was refreshing. Not a fan of the corn bread. It had a bit of a barnyard flavor. Nonetheless, this place is a gem.

Was looking for dinner place to spend our last night at. Read reviews and decided on "Five Loaves Cafe." The place is quaint, with a "homey" appeal. Once inside, was greeted warmly by the hostess - who in turn sat us at a great place in the restaurant to enjoy the ambiance. We were greeted promptly by our server Ashley who was cheerful and friendly! Since this was our first time at the establishment, she told us about the dishes on the menu that were popular, then gave us time to decide what we wanted to order to eat and drink. We started off with the drinks. We ordered the "Blueberry Lemon Drop" and the "Prickly Pear Margarita" which were quite tasty!Then the appetizer was the "Goat Cheese Gnocch" for and appetizer (which was to die for), then the Entrees - we ordered were the Braised Short Rib in a Red Wine reduction - over mashed potatoes with Asparagus! So good! and the "Shrimp Gnocchi, which was rich and flavorful! They also served us "homemade "Focciaca " bread with seasoned Olive Oil. For dessert, we ordered the "New York" style cheesecake with Raspberry glaze and the "Coconut Cream Cake." All of the dishes were outstanding! Our server Ashley made our evening by being warm and friendly - she made the night a memorable experience! I had my birthday brunch at this location today. From the moment I began inquiring about availability I was treated with kindness and respect. Upon arrival, manager and staff made all of the necessary accommodations to create a truly beautiful space for my 15 guests. The food was amazing as always. I brought in cake, but because of the rain it was damaged on one side. But they repaired it before bringing it out. You can’t fake good customer service. The management and staff at Five Loaves are exceptional in every area of customer service. I highly recommend their location.

Stopped by here for brunch and it was amazing! The shakshuka was perfect but I do wish it came with more bread. Cold brew was delicous and the guy serving us behind the bar was super friendly and attentive!

I will never go to this restaurant again. Ordered the breakfast skillet and a side of Biscuits and gravy. As you can see in the picture, the portions are extremely small. I was supposed to get chorizo is my bowl and never received it. I told the server who I was impossible to find. She then didn’t believe me even when I showered her the bowl.

Food was delicious and the front porch was just peaceful as we were able to enjoy our lunch while protected from the brief sun shower came thru.

There is a little something for everyone at Homegrown not just beer. It is great that they have a few food items now. The live music was great and the whole place, in the middle of downtown Summerville, has a small town , but trendy feel. I had the Radler and tried a few ciders since I am not a huge beer drinker. Many others in my party tried a lot of the beer on tap and were happy. The whole place, including the bathrooms, are clean.

Good variety and the option to get small pours, pints or growlers. The Mexican Biscotti Break by Evil Twin is strong and delicious...kinda like me.

When I walked in, it looked like it was a small two room business on my right when I arrived. I thought, simple, selling machines and that it until I saw a hallway that lead me to the world of wonder with personally, various quotes, samples, all kinds of fabrics, notions and a small play area for your child. The whole building is the store!

Visited this wonderful shop while on vacation in SC. They have a great selection of fabric and everyone was very helpful. Made a couple of dresses with the material I bought. Will definitely come back when I visit again.

An absolutely adorable fabric and quilting shop, and it's much bigger than it looks on the outside. They have an excellent variety of woven fabrics, including Tula Pink and other fun prints 🦋 Every single employee I interacted with was super sweet and informative as well! Well hidden behind several buildings. That surprised us since the Summerville visitor info hypes it a lot. You can park in a parking garage near the court house. We walked past a spot labeled "reserved for prisoner transfer"! If you are strolling around the area, this is worth a quick trip. But once you take a picture of it, there's nothing else to do there

It’s free to see the tea. The tea is a little easy to miss, it’s not on the main road. You go down a little Hallway between two buildings. There are public bathrooms right by it but there were locked when I went. The town itself is really cute and has a lot to offer so definitely worth the stop. Check out the surrounding area/shops while there.

Such a fun and unique stop! The World’s Largest Sweet Tea is definitely a cool southern attraction worth checking out. It’s a great photo op and a fun way to celebrate classic southern culture. The area around it is charming too — a perfect little roadside stop if you’re passing through. Sweet tea lovers, don’t miss it!

Neat little ‘hidden’ gem in Summerville SC. Plenty of other shops and stores around the block or so surrounding it that you can visit as well, but don’t go on a Sunday or most won’t be open, or will close very early.

It’s very low key right outside the back of the garage in between the buildings. If you walk out toward shuckin shack turn right At biscuit belly and you will see it shortly on the right side. I was lost but I found it. I took my kids to take pictures out there very unique. If your visiting downtown Summerville stop by snap a few shots. It’s free to visit and park.

New to South Carolina the staff at the farmers market pointed me in the right direction they have a bench you can sit and it's peaceful and calm

We stopped into town just to see the world’s largest ice tea! Turns out... it is quite hidden! We assumed it would be out in plain sight but it is tucked away between buildings. There is one line of sight through a corridor and staircase. Definitely worth the trip to check it out! Summerville is cute too!

Very cute historic downtown many things closed on Sunday. I would recommend going on a weekend or during a festival when everything‘s open my kids loved the popcorn shop and the movie theater. They also really liked the world’s largest iced tea that was in the throwback poker records and the middle of town

Can get a little Mundane at times however overall a fantastic place to visit if your out of state. Excellent place to take your family. Variety of Local shops. The town keeps providing entertainment over the weekends from live bands to food truck’s, to you name it. Again, great atmosphere, a well established Christian based coffee shop on the end of town square called Cuppa Manna.

Love this little gem downtown Summerville. Whenever you feel like bored well just go downtown and meet all these nice people nice shops nice restaurants just love spending time there.

GUERINS IS THE BEST! I support local businesses as much as I can. I have used them for as long as I can remember. They see me walk through the door and they are alreay searching for my meds. Can't get any better customer service! I had a big surgery performed couple days later after my discharge my parents received a phone call it was Guerins staff calling to check on my well being because they got my Rxs from the hospital digitally! Absolutely no business does that! I love you guys!

Guerin’s is HOME. Oldest family run pharmacy in the state.They know you and take time to answer any questions you may have. I went there with my grandfather a one day my daughter will take her children there. Guerin’s’ IS Summerville.

I’ve been using Guerin’s Pharmacy for my mom’s prescriptions for years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile by giving us a call when her medications are ready or when there’s a follow-up needed. It’s that kind of personal service that keeps us coming back. Highly recommend!

Just came in about 10 minutes before close and browsed around. Stood at the register for a while with my group and nobody said a word to us the entire time until the shopkeep came back in the room one minute before close and told us theyre closed and we have to leave. I was not aware we came in so close to time and understand it was the end of their day but it was incredibly rude to just come out and yell that at us considering they never came out and said anything the entire time we were browsing in the store.

Only place I know in Charleston who will order medication that my provider prescribes! This pharmacy is really out of my way and I’m always rushing to get my script filled the day that it’s due to be filled. I don’t always make it there until about the time they close, but they don’t seem to care. Or at least they don’t appear to me to be bothered that I’ve held them up a few more minutes past the time they close. There was actually one time I got stuck in traffic and by the time I got here their door was locked because it was the time they closed. As I was walking back to my vehicle they came out and still offered to fill my script. There isn’t any where that I’m aware of that would do that. I don’t mean to be one of those people that show up at the last minute. I’m a busy mother of four so I run around with my head cut off most days and I feel very blessed that they are all so kind and generous with their time.

Been here several times for lemonade. The last time staff was incredibly rude. The worst part was I believe she was the owner or some kind of manager. She and the employee stood at the register and ignored us while they finished their conversation.

Have been receiving coffee beans from here via my family for a while now. I particularly enjoy the Sexy Seven beans. Was delighted to visit there when I went to see my family and we enjoyed breakfast and coffee there…and of course picked up more coffee beans (they are all great.) Cafe has an unpretentious and chill vibe with people from all walks of life there, so it’s lively and busy. I suspect it could be a bit difficult to find a table depending on what time you go. This is a family friendly place and I think that it would be fairly accessible for those who struggle with mobility. Parking is not an issue. We enjoyed breakfast there, having the hippie with egg and the breakfast BLT. We also sampled a scone that was fresh and delicious. It was great to finally visit and see where my coffee has been coming from. Staff are friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend for their coffee and breakfast! Hope to return again. (And there is a nice little vintage store that has just opened next door….so it’s nice to have a little wander around there and see what treasures they have!)

As a Google Local Guide, I can honestly say Coastal Coffee Roasters is one of the most impressive coffee destinations I’ve visited. The standout feature here is the largest variety of regional coffee roasts you’ll find anywhere. It’s like a world tour of coffee in one spot, with beans and roasts from so many different regions that every cup feels like a new adventure. That alone makes this place worth frequenting. On my visit, I went straight for the Jet Fuel, a bold and energizing drink with espresso poured over cold brew. It delivered exactly what the name promises: rich flavor and serious power to start the day. To balance it out, I ordered a custom breakfast omelette packed with healthy ingredients like fresh vegetables, feta, and goat cheese. It was fresh, flavorful, and felt like the perfect pairing with the coffee. Coastal Coffee Roasters is more than just a coffee shop. It is a destination for coffee lovers who want quality, variety, and a welcoming atmosphere. If you appreciate craft coffee and enjoy exploring different roasts, this is a must-visit.

The BEST coffee shop in Summerville. Everything is freshly made and it shows. Nothing here is from a big box store and repackaged. We both order bagels for breakfast. My mouth is watering typing this remembering how delicious my sandwich was. We got a dessert to go which was a perfect snack later that evening. The coffee came out HOT. Just hot enough to let it cool for a moment while I ate my first few bites. The restaurant is clean and well kept up. The employees are all very friendly and seem happy to be there. Sooooo many coffee varieties and opens and even to bring some home to brew.

My boyfriend and I went here for a quick coffee and bite to eat. We LOVED the blueberry cheese danish, however I do wish it was warmed up. I had an iced Pecan Latte with oat milk. It was good, but I couldn’t really taste the pecan & it wasn’t as sweet as I’d had hoped, so if you like sweet coffees I’d recommend adding another syrup flavor maybe. My boyfriend had a jet fuel and he liked it, the lady who made it let him try it and add syrup to make sure he liked it.

Adequate staff for the fairly busy shop. I like the addition of local products. I came in two days in a row. The first day to try my first ever cruffin and the second for the cinnamon roll! They both were giant and absolutely delicious!! What a local treasure!! The iced espresso was strong and refreshing!! Thank you for starting my day well!!

We had a lovely breakfast here. It can be tough to find a good spot with quality food, coffee AND thats also family friendly. This place has all of that plus it was very welcoming and unpretentious. Definitely recommend!!

The Blueberry Cruffins are to die for! And the Lox everything bagels are pretty dang ole good too! If you haven't tried Chi with ACC, then try it! You won't regret it.

Perhaps this place was just too hyped for too long before I got to try it but my honest take on the biscuit was it was just OK and we came as a family so we shared the vicious beignets on the table. Those were phenomenal. My particular meal was the gravy train because I’ll tell you what I am a sucker for biscuits & gravy, and I thought being in South Carolina that I would have something real authentic. Unfortunately I’ve had better biscuits and gravy from Wawa. There was nothing wrong with the biscuit per se other than it was a bit dry and I was expecting like a smothering of the gravy, overall was just dry. I needed more gravy for that size of biscuit. The hot chicken sandwich looked phenomenal, and my brother agreed that it was quite tasty.

Service was excellent and very quick. This pla e can pack out but we got in there at 10am before the church rush. This is one of my favorite places in the Charleston area. This location is newer and there is a lot more space. They also have outside patio seating. The Vicious Biscuit was fantastic!! We love the jam and butter bar. Great job!!

The food was absolutely delicious! There’s lots of options so you’re bound to find something you like. You order at the counter then find a seat which is a little different but the food comes out fast, coffee is delicious, sweet tea is perfect and the cocktails are great for brunch! My family and I are definitely coming back!

The food was delicious! I had the old fashion breakfast with chicken sausage and scrambled eggs with grits. Fried green tomatoes witch is a must try. I washed it all down with fresh squeezed orange juice! I definitely recommend this place for breakfast!

I ordered the shrimp & grits with an open faced biscuit and freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff at the front counter were friendly and helpful for my first time visiting, as soon as I sat down I was served with my fresh hot food and utensils and everything tasted delicious, the shrimp wasn’t overcooked and was well seasoned, the grits were creamy and not too salty great flavor, the biscuit was soft, dense and buttery and paired perfectly with my dish. The fresh squeezed orange juice was top tier and left a great impression after finishing my meal. I gave this establishment 4 stars primarily because of the atmosphere which was pretty noisy and there were some flies flying around which was slightly annoying and understandable as people were coming in and out but a slight turn off, it was clean and the staff appeared to be quite attentive. I would definitely recommend the food here, however, next time i would probably order my meal for takeout next time.

This place was so good! I loved that they had gluten free options and the Thai tea with coffee boba was delicious. My whole family enjoyed what they got.

I did not realize that I would find better bubble tea than San Francisco bay area, in a quaint little square in a quaint little cafe, all the way on the other side of country on the different ocean cost! Just amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed the bobba and the cozy ambiance. It's the first time that I went to a food place where the line was out the door, and I discovered that the reason was absolutely worth it! A very popular and hence a crowded place. If you are looking for a quite time with an excellent beverage, carry the beverage and sit in the park across, the beverage would make up for the time and effort.

Used to come here all the time for years but I had moved out of the area, so it had been awhile since I had their drinks. I was back in the area and was excited to go back for a fun drink. Unfortunately I was greatly disappointed. I ordered the Thai tea with tapioca and it was disgusting. The tapioca was well cooked but had no brown sugar (which is a staple when making boba), making it just taste extremely bitter. The Thai tea had no flavor in it as you can see by the picture. If you’ve ever had this drink, it should be a deep orange and very creamy. It was either. Just takes like watered down half and half. I ended up throwing it away after two sips. And the change in decoration was disappointing as well. No longer as warm and cozy as it used to be. Next time, I’ll head to the Thai restaurant next door and get a Thai tea.

This cortado was straight up beautiful both looks and taste wise. Major props to Logan as he recommended it and made it, it did not disappoint at all.

When I first moved to Summerville SC the year of 2008. I was driving to work at, Summerville Presbyterian community,I saw one of the staff placing a sign concerning the art gallery. So,on my day off I decided to go there to check out the gallery. I met several professional artists. They do really impressive work. They have a signing book at the door. They asked me to sign in and leave my email because they have upcoming art walk events they wanted me to come. I did. They were so nice and friendly. I met Katherine, Yvonne and several other artist. They all have different techniques. I shared some art paintings that I had done. I wanted to get their advice about them because, I wasn't a professional artists at the time. They thought my art was good. Offered me art classes however I would have had to pay for them. I met a lady that had a husband who was a artist during my daily walk. She was telling me that he had taken ill. She asked me if I draw? So she ended up giving me all of his art supplies. I would practice. I have studied and completed art program online with, Stratford career institute several years ago I graduated the year of 2023. I've done watercolor paintings, paintings with acrylic,oil painting ,art drawings, and painting with pastel. I've have several of my art custom framed at hobby lobby. I remember going to all of the ladies house during a art walk event. I won one of their art paintings in 2010. I pray that the Lord blesses all of my education, accomplishments and achievements. This is something new to my inheritance. My parents and Grandma Julia have all passed away. She would have been proud of me of everything new that I've accomplished Thank you Almighty omnipotent unlimited God bless me abundantly. I deserve so much better. Today is July 8/2025🙏❤️

This historical library was incorporated in1908 and is a quiet gem in the community of Summerville! One of the few subscription supported non-profit libraries left in the United States! It’s well worth a visit! If you want a quiet place to read, have access to the classics, best sellers and peruse the extensive civil war collection of books or bring your toddler to story time this is the place to visit or become a member to support literacy history!

The quintessential hometown library experience, complete with card catalog, friendly library staff, story time for kids, author events, book sales. So much! The membership fee is small ($25 yearly for the whole family) compared to what you get in return at the Timrod Library.

The Timrod Library was established in 1897. This library is a piece of Low Country history! It even has a special wing that is devoted to books that are over 80 years old! Definitely stop in to check out one of the oldest libraries in all of South Carolina.

Definitely worth visiting. One feels as if stepping back in time to a peaceful existence. The Timrod is appreciative of history and literature. They do need to do better with getting the word out on what they are doing, their events.

Amazing local library. Low member fees. Monthly story hour. Superb staff and volunteers. Annual Fall book fair is a do not miss for moms on a budget.

The only reason i gave it one star is because it wasn't for me. It is not a public library and by membership only. $15 yearly.

They closed at 5:00pm and the site says 6:00pm and I was turned away. I hope there wasn't an alternative reason for me not being able to get in.

Just had a delightful evening at Oscar's here in Summerville, and I'm already itching to go back! From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere was just perfect – cozy and inviting, elegantly relaxed. The service was truly top-notch; our server was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the stars of the show (mostly!): the food. Every dish that graced our table was an absolute delight. Seriously, each bite was a burst of deliciousness! And the best part? The prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we enjoyed. It's always a win when you leave feeling satisfied without breaking the bank. However, and this is where I have to be honest, the fried green tomatoes were a bit of a letdown. While I adore this Southern staple, the ones at Oscar's unfortunately didn't quite hit the mark. They were a little soggy, the breading lacked flavor, and the accompanying sauce wasn't quite right. It's a shame because everything else was so fantastic. The Verdict: Despite the minor hiccup with the fried green tomatoes, Oscars is a gem! The delicious food, exceptional service, and wonderful atmosphere make it a must-try in Summerville. We'll definitely be returning to savor more of their fantastic menu. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed dinner. Even without a reservation, we only waited about 25 minutes for a table for two, which was not bad at all. Our waitress was very helpful in walking us through the menu since it was our first visit. She was truly a delight. The food was absolutely amazing, full of flavor and comfort. We will definitely be coming back.

The only thing we’re disappointed with is that it took until our 14th anniversary to make this grand discovery. We booked reservations last minute to celebrate, and it was the best decision we could have made. First they brought out the best bread either of us have ever had with our wine. Then we had oysters on the half shell and mozzarella half moons for appetizers. They were both wonderful and the cheese pull was amazing. For our main entree, my husband had the prime rib with mashed sweet potatoes and spinach. He is still going on about the spinach being amazing and the prime rib cut like butter. I had the chicken carbonara and it was literally the best pasta I’ve ever tasted. We’re both already itching to go back for more. For desert I had the caramel xango and he had the banana’s Oscar. Both were absolutely amazing. Our waitress Tiffany was the cherry on top of our experience. She was so helpful when we had questions about the wine and good before ordering and never let our glasses get empty. Overall this was an amazing experience ❤️

This was our second visit. The first one was not good, but this time they redeemed themselves. Our first visit was for a Mother’s Day brunch, this time we went for dinner. The meals were great. We got the short rib and a NY strip steak, both were cooked perfectly! The Gouda mac and cheese was fantastic, Caesar salad was flavorful and the bread on the tables was soft and delicious. I also got the risotto, which was alright, and the broccoli was unseasoned- but overall, the star of the show was the short rib, which was worth the visit on it own. Oscar’s proved that they’re a local staple, as long as you’re there for what they do every day, great menu items served by friendly staff!

I’ve always heard good things about Oscar’s so I decided to have my anniversary dinner here. The experience was wonderful! Our server was such a sweetheart and everything came out in a very timely manner. The food was absolutely delicious and the mood lighting created such a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. My expectations were exceeded and I will definitely be back!

No longer the same! Menu is completely different. We miss some of the unique entrees this place had in the past. Ordered a burger medium well and it was rare. Silverware was filthy. Pork nachos were lacking pork…Very sad…won’t return here again.

A Summerville favorite. The food is always good & consistent. Service is quick and friendly. Bar scene in the evening with live music, trivia and events. Always enjoy our time here.

Food was good. I had the burger and my husband shrimp & grits. Plus we got a cookie dessert. YUM! Our waitress, Red was awesome. She was on top of our table for service and was very knowledgeable about the menu..

This is a cool and casual place to hang out. It has indoor and outdoor seating. We went around 6 on Saturday and there was also live music. There is parking on the street. Although it was still hot we did decided to sit outside. They do have misting fans. My only gripe was that our table didn’t have an umbrella. Waitress was ok. We ordered drinks. I had the Summerville sunset. We ordered the cauliflower bites and for dinner the fish taco lil spicy but ok and my husband had the cheesesteak sandwich which had great reviews and he liked it! Will come back for a hang out spot!

I visit Montreux every weekend and only live one mile away. Emily is always gives the best service and extremely proof and I ask for her every weekend due to her professionalism and friendly attitude and proof and provides the best service I have ever experienced as long as I have been coming every weekend 3 times a week and no one has ever provided better service than Emily. She is Fantastic. I have been coming here for two years every weekend. I appreciate great hospitality and the service she provides. It’s hard to find the service she provides every weekend I look forward to seeing her and giving her a hug and she immediately responds and gets right on taking care of me and my friends. We LOVED their old menu but they got bought out. Menu is completely different. They had a sweet spicy pasta that was all I could think about but gone now. Wish we had the old Monts back or at least the menu. Lots of friends have stopped going.

The menu change is different but refreshing and cool! We had the flatbread and the jambalaya pasta and it was super tasty. Good prices drinks and a fun atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back and try more.

If your party is 5 or more, prepare to wait extra long. Liked what I ordered; buttermilk pancakes and chicken breast. Tender and flavorful. I like the twist on baguette French toast! Texture was definitely good. Our server was awesome and was attentive! But the wait to get in was terrible! A couple parties with 4 and others with 3 definitely got seated closer to the wait time given.

Amazing food! We got the blueberry pancakes and they really do taste like cake so good 😊. The biscuits and gravy were the best I’ve very had. Wow is all I can say. They offer half size portions and to go containers since the portions are large. You can take it or eat it 😆

Really enjoyed a great breakfast this morning. The sausage and gravy biscuit was one of the best I've ever had. The blueberry pancakes 🥞 tasted very good also. Our service was great and a very nice atmosphere. This hidden gem is located in downtown Summerville on main Street directly across the street from the town Square park. Eva's has a very interesting history and we're happy the existing owners honor the memories of this fine establishment. We will be making many returns.

May 11, 2024 Great food as always! I got the green wave to eat(their chicken and biscuits with eggs on top). It was good as usual. Staff was friendly. They serve your drinks in mason jars. Their sweet tea is great! They often get a lot of business on days like Sunday and usually are super busy. Either way though the southern comfort food you get is always great! The bathrooms are clean too! Will always recommend!

Wanted to try the southern comfort food and was not disappointed. We cleaned every plate!! Will definitely make this our go to spot every other Sunday! You know it’s gonna be good when the wait time was 30 mins! Place was booming with business and now I see why! Terrific service! Wonderful waitress! Felt like family immediately!!

The eggs and sausage are the same you can get anywhere. The sausage gravy was delicious but the winner was absolutely the blueberry pancakes. They were so good! We've been a few times now and will be coming back for sure. yum. Third visit: the fried chicken doesn't have any breading and lacks seasoning. The rest of the food was great. Great spot. First time going. Megan was great. It was busy so we sat at the bar and looked out on the street. Music was good, not too loud. Food was delicious. Once I saw Corned Beef Hash, I knew that was my dish. So I had the Bless Your Heart. Eggs over easy. My girlfriend had the Goodness Gracious. We added a blueberry pancake. All of it was awesome. We will definitely come back.

For our second wedding anniversary, we came to this incredible restaurant... From the moment that you walk in, you feel welcomed with not only incredible staff, but with a good ambience. Our waiter rob was incredible and helped us pick some of the key things in the menu. The grouper and the scallops were exquisite, and they were courteous enough to provide us with complementary champagne for our anniversary and an incredible dessert. I will give this a five plus star for all above mentioned.And I must go to spot to go for special occasions.good job!!

I had another amazing experience at this restaurant! It really is one of the best places to eat in the area. Right from the start, the service was fantastic—every team member was friendly and genuinely attentive, making sure we felt right at home. Now, let’s talk about the food—it was incredible! Every dish was bursting with flavor and looked gorgeous on the plate. I highly recommend trying their signature dish; it’s a standout that absolutely blew me away. Overall, everything from the ambiance to the delicious food made for a memorable meal, and I’m sure anyone who visits will leave with a smile on their face!

Tonight, I went in to celebrate our anniversary and my wife’s birthday. The waiter and the floor manager went above and beyond to ensure that our evening was extra special. They provide recommendations on menu items, drinks and desserts. The shrimp and grits was delicious and artfully served. The prime rib was tender and seasoned to perfection. While a steak knife was proved, it was not needed. They maintained a healthy amount of check-ins and refills throughout our dinning experience. For our first experience, it was beyond what we could image and was beyond what we expected. As an added bonus, there was a live band playing a mix of classics and current music. Highly recommended! A great great to celebrate life special events.

I’ve only been to the place downtown but I had to see how the nexton location compared. Let me tell you that they didn’t let me and was absolutely on time. The service was great, atmosphere was beautiful with the music playing and again the service was over the top. I was actually gonna go to sweetwater 123 but I’m glad that they closed early on Sundays. So I called up Halls and made reservations right away because I’m a pretty impulsive guy due to my 🧠 injury. But I made the reservations within 20 minutes of arriving. All was good, we were seated right away and taken care of. Even though the steak was slightly overcooked they took it back immediately recooked it to the desired temperature. Also was given half off the meal due to this mishap. I’ll definitely be visiting again. Oh the interior was gorgeous and craftsmanship was put into all of it. Thanks for the great meal. Oh the dessert was amazing.

Had a great anniversary dinner at Halls. The steak was amazing as always and we loved being treated to a complimentary dessert for the occasion. Our server was fantastic as was the entire staff. Have loved coming here for years and will continue to do so. By the way, the Blackberry Kentucky Mule special cocktail was amazing and a real treat compared to my regular Old Fashions.

My girlfriend and I were recommended here by my aunt, who lives in Summerville. Our server went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience of this fine dining restaurant. I can't say enough good about the food and service. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

One of these days I'll shell out and come for dinner. And when I do, I hope I'll rewrite this and give them 5 stars. I've been twice now. Once with my wife for brunch and once with my boss for lunch. For brunch I got the chophouse omelet. It was fine. Nothing to write home about. It was largely pretty bland, undersalted, and the most noticeable taste was the sherry they soaked the mushrooms in. The grits side I ordered with it was fantastic, though. When I went for lunch I got the steak sandwich. The positives were that it was pretty hefty, and the horseradish wasn't overpowering. Downside was it between the steak juices and the grease, it was a soggy mess. They should get some kind of bread that can hold up to the moisture better. Of course none of this is what people really come to Hall's for, and I'm still absolutely open to coming for dinner and expect that when I do it'll live up to the hype.

Tacos and tequila! The margs are top notch and they have a wide variety to choose from. They have crafted a perfect version of Mexican street corn. Make sure to give it a try!

We got seated instantly when we got here, the food was fine, a bit bland. Ordered a few different tacos and a lot of them tasted the same. Service was really slow. Had to ask for refills multiple times and waited so long to get them.

Very good food, new and unique taco flavors. Even have a vegan chorizo for the queso, if you're into that! Service was top-notch!

The tacos (beef) were not my favorite. Just a bit too greasy and limited seasoning. I enjoyed the refried beans. However, the hibiscus margarita was perfect with the chips and salsa 😋 I'll visit again and ask for another type of taco and the tequila flight. It took a while for a server to visit my table , but she was super nice. The restaurant is beautiful. The bar area is nice.

This is a stylish, upscale spot to enjoy tacos, with impressively quick and friendly service. The ambiance is lively, with a great setup that even includes a cornhole area for some fun while you wait. Their drink menu offers a wide variety, and the chips and sides are solid. The food itself can be a bit underwhelming in flavor—even the tinga chicken tasted a bit bland. But it’s a dog-friendly spot (leashes required), and worth checking out for the atmosphere and range of options they offer!

Off to a slow start getting service & even though there was no traditional chips & salsa at a taco place, the food we ordered was good and I love the decor of restaurant itself inside.

Honestly, this theater is more of a two-star experience, but I’m giving it three stars because the customer service was really good. As soon as we walked in, it smelled like burnt popcorn. Thankfully, we had already eaten, so we didn’t order any snacks. The theater itself had an odd smell kind of like dirty socks, especially in Theater 8. The seats were really close together and not very comfortable, but we still enjoyed our movie. This place has potential, but it definitely needs a renovation and a deep clean. It could be great with some updates, but right now it’s a bit of an eye and nose sore.

We had a great experience at the movie theater today. Collin, working in concessions, was the most courteous, friendly and helpful person I have come across in ANY business lately! He seems like a great young man and a big asset to your company. If I were a business owner, I would do my best to steal him away to work in customer service for me.

Absolutely not worth it unless you can't go to any other theater. A single person combo and some candy cost 30 dollars on top of tickets being 15 (for a 1030 manitee). Seats were tiny and cramped and barely reclined. Im not particularly large but I felt suffocated. Only upside was the arm rests fold up and I could make space since my theater was near empty. Customer service was wonderful but that doesn't stop me from feeling ripped off. I was also given a complimentary reusable bucket, which is nice if it wasn't half the size of the large meaning I'll have to get up mid movie to refill it. Oh and the movie was Misfitted to the screen. Poor experience overall

My husband and I have been to this theatre a few times hoping our experience would improve. Our most recent experience, while waiting in line for popcorn & drinks there was popcorn scattered on the counter and spilled sticky soda. The employee didn't even bother to clean it up or apologize for the mess. I took it upon myself to wipe it off. The lobby and hallway always has popcorn on the carpet while employees are standing around. Women's bathroom is a mess with toilets not flushed. My husband also told me the men's bathroom was very dirty too. I can't understand why the employees are not better trained and take pride in their responsibilities. They should have employees rotate their tasks so they don't get bored. I blame management for not offering better training to their younger employees. We will be going to other movie theaters near by.

I went to the cinema today for the showing of Big Bold Beautiful Journey. I clearly explained which movie and which session I wanted. I sat through all the previews, and when the screening started, I realized it was not the film I had asked for. I checked my ticket and saw that it was for a completely different movie. I went back to the cashier and explained that they had sold me the wrong ticket. I asked if I could exchange it or fix the situation somehow. The cashier stood there with an indifferent attitude, as if nothing had happened. When I said I no longer wanted to switch to the correct session but simply wanted a refund, I was told to wait for a manager. During this whole time, no one apologized to me, no one even tried to smooth things over. My evening was completely ruined and all my plans were disrupted. When the manager finally came and gave me a refund, still there was no apology, no attempt at customer care. I am honestly shocked by this level of service. How could they mix up the session when I explained so clearly and politely which movie I wanted to see? I simply cannot understand how such negligence and indifference toward customers can be acceptablе?

Great Theater Great staff lots of products lots of things to choose from with getting snacks theaters always greatly cleaned management and everyone there is rarely friendly if you need help with anything just ask. Don't look at the negative comments and use that as a reason to not come by and check out this theater. Great place to come watch a movie and have a good time with friends and family

Went tonight to see the 10pm showing of Superman in 3D. When we showed up nobody verified or checked our tickets. The concessions stand not only didn't have any hot food they also didn't have the kryptonite special cups. All of the trash cans were overflowing. The seating is straight out of the 1990s and extremely uncomfortable. When we sat down we realized we were never given 3D glasses. Apparently you have to ask the concessions staff for them. The only positive of this theater is that the concessions staff were kind. This was definitely the worst theater experience I have ever had. The management of this place should be ashamed and replaced. I will never be returning.

We did take out. It was ready so fast and was delicious. Ribs, bbq plate, broccoli casserole, and macaroni pie. Winner of the Summerville Sweet Tea Festival! BANANA PUDDING CHEESECAKE! 🍌 🧀 🍰 To quote my foodie husband. “That was very good bbq.” Highest endorsement in the land.

Tasty bbq for sure. Friendly service and a great atmosphere. What I wasn't a fan of was the large amount of fat in the meat. Most of what I received for meat was actually just fat. The hash is delicious but the rice was undercooked and hard to chew. The baked beans were absolutely delicious! $18 is a high price for mostly fat and undercooked rice though. This was my first time and the flavor was good enough to give it another shot sometime.

I am at This Little Piggy right now! And I love it so much!!!! Best place ever!!!! My sister can’t stop eating 🍽!! Because my sister doesn’t like spicy food but she wanted the chicken wings they brought a chicken wing for her that they didn’t put much spice in and then she’ll say she liked it or if she didn’t! I loved my meal!!!!!!! And there homemade sauce is bussin! They also offer homemade banana pudding. You should definitely go!!!!🐷🐽🐖

Wanted to try this place for a while and glad I finally made it. Service was a bit slow but they were kind and apologized for being short staffed (who isn't right now?) Macaroni pie was just another Mac and cheese. Nothing special. The pulled pork with pimento cheese had way too much cheese and you loose the pork flavor. The green beans and the hash and rice were delicious! Strongly suggest those. The brisket and ribs were good enough bbq. I found their sauces and their bbq to be a bit sweet for my taste. Their best sauce was the red pepper vinegar sauce. All in all it was good but not great. I might eventually come back but I'll try/want other BBQs first.

The food was amazing and the sweet tea BBQ sauce out of this world. Smoke wings only on Saturday and these were great.

This place didn't disappoint me at all. The ribs were so succulent and the barbecue sauce was just right to add that subtle and tangy to top it off. The macaroni and cheese is to die for and the broccoli casserole is another favorite. Next best thing to your Mama's cooking.

Don't come here! Cost to much for what you get. Couldn't eat all me food due to the fly infestation. Almost wretched half way through my dining experience thinking about all the flies the host in the kitchen. Only the (canned + bottle) soda and bag of chips was worth it. They talked about not charging me $2.79 for another mini can of soda, that was * nice *

Excellent store to spend a lot of time browsing. Found some furniture pieces I really liked at some outstanding prices. Please get your Vendors to have walk through booths. Some booths you can't even walk through. Love this place! Need more antiques and real vintage items though.

I’m obsessed with this place- anything you could want from an antique store they have. Prices are incredibly fair and the ladies that work here and so sweet and kind!

Lovely place with some treasures. Looks like they are filling up. Need a few more antique dealers and less reproductions. Very clean and good flow. Note to Vendors- be sure your booths are walk through. Don't clog up foot space so people are trapped. If I can't walk around- I walk by. That's lost sales for you.

I absolutely love this store! I have found a few of my favorite hobnail pieces there and fostoria. The staff is super nice including the young boys that help. I look forward to the new set up!

Wonderful place for adventure and fun. There are lots of places to explore and things to do. They have 2 playgrounds, one for smaller children and one for bigger ones. They also have a zip line and a splash pad. There is also a dog park that looked great and a pier offering fishing. I was not able to check out the hiking trails, but I will be back soon to explore.

The back pavilion served as the venue for Harvest Moon Yoga by Angie Spinelli equipped with music, fans, restrooms and never-ending views of water, landscaping, and stars. Park attendants and rangers are always helpful, friendly and kind. This park is a gem!

It's s nice place and fun for the kids. I'm speaking only about the playground since that's the only location we visited, not sure about the rest but the little ones had a blast. Seems to be well kept and the restrooms were clean and spacious. There are also some picnic tables. They have a fun zip line that kids love, there's also a dog park in front of the playground, that's pretty much I could say, was fun and probably will come again in the future.

This park reminded me of the Snoopy Campground area of Carowinds. We went during spring break on a Friday so it was busier than I think it would normally be. BUT sufficient parking and walking distance from parking. I have 4 littles and my husband took the older 2 fishing at one of the docks. They caught a catfish which they were thrilled about. Then I ran the trail while my husband watched them all at the playgrounds. The trail was nice, pretty easy to navigate. Although the paths can be slim and a lot of people had big dogs or kids so you just have to consider that. I started at the playground and ran almost to the "exit" point and turned around. It was a little over 2 miles for that. The playground has a zip line which was fun. My 2 year old was able to play in close proximity to my 6 and 8 year olds without me freaking out. They have sprinklers and pretty adequate seating. A number of families setup under the trees for little picnics. There's adequate shade there. There's also meeting space available. They had a food truck there serving a watermelon drink that my husband raved about. If I had to say one thing I wish there was an obvious, safe space for breastfeeding.

Beautiful park! Splash pad area is very popular with the kids! It’s very pet friendly! There are walking paths and lots of shaded areas when it’s really hot.

Beautiful park in Summerville along the Ashley River. Nice long walking trails. Plenty of bathrooms. A fishing pond inhabited by some turtles and alligators. Large and small dog parks adjacent to a shaded playground and splash pads. It is $2/person on entry or you can purchase an annual pass. I really enjoyed walking with my husband and dog. We are going to take our son to play in the splash pad and playgrounds. Really wish the North Charleston Riverfront Park was as big as this one and with all the amenities.

My girlfriend and I just stopped by to check it out and we were greeted by their cute little store puppy! They have some pretty nice Antiuqes also and were very passionate about what they do, which makes the experience that much better. The owners were super nice and even offered us water as we walked around.

What a cool selection! This would be a Great place to find that 'someone' who has two of everything! They are a little short on Men's items but still had a very nice selection. Something for everyone's Mémère or Papoo!

We went it stars and strikes last night for the first time and it was one of the best times we have had in a while!!! The service was probably the best service I have ever received. Not just by one staff member but multiple. When we walked in James greeted us with a smile on his face and pointed us in the right direction to set up a bowling game. While we were playing one of the employees Tyler asked if he could give my son a present (i thought maybe he was going to give him a free dessert) nope he gave him a bowling pin with his name and year written on the bottom of it!!! Unbelievable!! We had gotten to our second game and we only had two turns each left but our time was running out Markel ended up adding enough time for us to finish our game without paying extra! Again… wow. As we were leaving I spoke with Nigel and Joanna about how wonderful our experience had been. Nigel found my son in the arcade and gave him a free $25 arcade card. He was beyond excited. As we were playing games Nigel came up to my son and told him how to win (we were playing a racing game) my son ended up coming in second place and was so proud of himself. He then looked at my son and said hey i think you dropped something and proceeded to hand him ANOTHER $25 arcade card. We were speechless. I honestly wish I could give the staff and the establishment more than 5 stars because the experience exceeded my expectations!!! If you haven’t been here you need to go asap and have a fun night out! It was clean, new arcade games, bowling was awesome, and they have so much more to offer. We can’t wait to try out the Voice karaoke booth. If the staff members see this review thank you from the bottom of our Hearts- you made my birthday so special and created some amazing memories for my son 🩵

Best burgers in town!!! Always a good time when we go with out toddler and friendly staff everywhere! I am so proud of this place, and the kids are free ALL summer program!!! Quick, if your looking for family fun, look no further and come make memories here!!!

I brought my son here a couple times in the last couple weeks for the free summer bowling, and I've been disappointed every time. I'll start with giving kudos to the employees who work the bowling desk; they have all been super nice and helpful. On the other hand, the women who work the bar act miserable. I've seen one arguing with another employee, I've had one tell me it will be ready when it's done when I asked about my food order that was taking an excessive amount of time, and they all act like they are annoyed to do their job. Also, when you order food on the kiosk it will automatically add a tip but then a robot brings your food. Who am I tipping and for what? **You can remove the tip if you pay close enough attention. My worst experience was this past Thursday. I'm including a photo of the lettuce that came on our burger and Philly sandwich. We won't be back.

Spent over $300.00 for burnt pizza.. both of our pizzas were burnt. Games hardly work… points did not display or load after playing. The ones that you earn points on. I must say the wings were amazing. The pizza terrible… and sausage was not cooked. Our waiter was amazing and kind. I wish I got her name. This is last visit here.

Our server Christian S was so great with us. He not only did a great job with serving us on the bowling lanes, but he also made sure that the manager Mr. Nigel came over and greeted us as well. We had an awesome time we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest, and we will certainly be !

We came from FL to visit family and this was the perfect indoor spot. With a family ranging from mid 40s to 6 there was something for everyone to do and we all had a blast. We also met Nigel which we believe was the manager or owner and he was very nice and demonstrated some of that Southern Hospitality. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area! I know it’s off-season so I can’t really complain about dead grass or bad greens but overall I liked the course, staff was cool, and the course layout felt fun yet challenging. Carts were super comfortable for the price which is rare for the price you pay! I will say that the layout of the operations is a bit confusing. I’m not saying it’s bad but just a tad confusing for someone that’s never played here. The starters didn’t really seem to care about times or people on top of each other tho. I got sent out as a solo with a duo and another single behind me so we paired up and had a good time nonetheless. I just think to keep a good flow you should just stick solos with a group to keep it moving. Will be back in the summer to check it out tho!

It's a great place to golf. They have 3, 9 hole courses. You can play 9 or 18 holes. They switch up the course every day. 1 day you might play 1 and 2 and the next day you might play 2 and 3, etc. The rough is a little thick and long right now but that isn't normal. They have good prices, seniors and military get a discounted rate. The pro shop has all of the best gear and supplies. The resturaunt has a good selection of food and beverages. They also serve special holiday meals. All in all its a good place to golf!

While visiting family in the area I had the pleasure of playing this course for the first time. We had a rare frost delay as it was very cold after Thanksgiving. We were welcomed warmly, they have a great bar and we were able to relax and have some coffee while waiting. When we did get called we had a wide open course and enjoyed some great golf. Carts were comfortable, starter was pleasant, greens were fast, fairways were in great shape. All in all it was a great place to play. Well worth it.

Pricey for what you get. Grass has been freshly cut, but was too long, so there's clumps everywhere, a few tee boxes are over grown, hard to hit. Most greens were pretty decent. There's no drinking water through out the course, and most of the ball washing stations, that's I've tried, were empty.

I have a really difficult time giving this golf course any higher than three stars and if it weren't for the practice facility, that's as good as any public in the area and the clubhouse. that's relatively nice. it wouldn't even get that! after recently being out there regardless of what the weather's been, the conditions are hideous as bad as I've seen on any course in the area in 20 years! Greens at least were decent thankfully slow pace of play is always expected here and the layout is just boring! on top of all this, what really agitates me are the amount of big pee, pebbles and rocks in the bunkers under less than an inch of sand! both my 54 and 60° wedges now are scuffed to pieces! I can deal with pace of play and condition problems but not a course that can damage my equipment. that's incompetent The photos are deceptive. don't let them fool you. the fairways were mostly mud devoid of grass. the rough was barren and non-existent! truly sad. I've never seen the course so bad and I played it at least 10 to 15 times

I live local and play here on occasion when not playing my home course. It’s a nice course but today was miserable. We had two foursomes that all concur…the first cut off the fairway is TOO HIGH!!! You will not find your ball without walking right on top of it. You may find a lot of other balls though from people who gave up on theirs. We spent an inordinate amount of time looking for balls that should’ve been easy to spot. This is ridiculous. When I hear they’ve cut it shorter, we’ll be back.

Awesome park! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because there’s no parking lot. You have to try to find a spot on the main road/parallel park. The pickleball courts constantly take up all of the available parking. My son had a great time yesterday when we were finally able to find a spot (3.5 blocks away).

It's a nice park. There is no parking lot, you have to park on the side of the road. Very nice shaded areas to pick up benches baseball field the grass could be kept a little bit better. The road is kind of busy when you trying to turn around. My four-star review comes because there's not much things for toddlers to do most of the equipment has from the age of 5 to 12 and I have a 3-year-old. Have A Blessed Day Remember Jesus Loves You ❤️

We went here one weekend for a birthday party and we really enjoyed it! They have so many different things to play on, rather than the same ol regular slide/swings/monkey bars that you can expect to find at EVERY other park! I believe my favorite thing there was the section of “instruments”. Something similar to an oversized xylophone and a few “drums” were setup to play, but they all make a gentle sound so that was pretty neat! I loved the material the ground under the play area was made of; a soft, almost bouncy material. They also have bathrooms, which is always a plus! My only complaint was the parking. Not very many places to park, unless I just didn’t see other places. Overall, the best park we’ve visited in a while!

I try to bring my daughter out a couple times a week, and she's really been enjoying this park! She loves the little zipline!

First time I go with my kids to this playground, totally fenced , one or two picnic tables , clean and new equipment. Clean parc , restrooms available too

This park is toddler friendly. My daughter, 18 months was able to play and not worry about bigger kids knocking her down. She enjoyed the slide and also the sound machines. Can't wait to get back if they have sprinklers on.

** Now called Saul Alexander Playground It just reopened in February 2022 with all new playground equipment. Two primary areas. When you walk in there's a large area with many ground level activities including musical instruments. Then a play area for kids I'd say up to 10-12 ish... A large grassy play area and then to the right two zip line style activities- one holding on with a rope and the other with a seat. I went wth a 5 year old who loved it. In that same area two types on swings. One standard style with 2 swings over sand, the other has 4 with two standard over a rubber type flooring plus 2 baby & me style swings. Only 2 picnic tables with a covering for shade. Very limited table offering, which might change over time pending budget? A few benches scattered around the outer edges for seating. Public restrooms. A bit strange... the are 2 rooms (family bathroom style). But when you walk in there are 2 toilets with no doors. The door you enter through is actually three one you lock. Strange setup. The only downfall, in my opinion is the parking. It's only available on the same side of the street. Our GPS took us from three opposite side. So we figured take the next street and turn around somewhere... that didn't quite work out! We'll know for next time to come from a different direction. I'm not a fan of street parking but it's in an area where unless they share parking wth the church next door, I'm not sure what options they'd have. There's a baseball field right next door, I have no idea where all those people park got a game? I'm sure some can walk or ride a bike but maybe I'm missing something? We'll come back for sure.

whoever designs the roads for south carolina/summerville, sc has really messed up hwy 17 from i26 to college park rd. before 11am today traffic was backed up ridiculously in both directions. that cement median that y'all have added has turned that road into a nightmare. if you are coming from moncks corner down hwy 17 and where you are going to is on the left, you have to go down, find a place to turn around and then come back in the direction you just came from instead of turning in the median. it is absolutely terrible. traffic should not be like that during mid morning hours. other areas in south carolina having their whole medians as a turning lane in both directions. summerville, sc is no longer a place i will be coming to as frequently. i will find alternative stores in other cities/areas to shop in because i don't want my day frustrated by all of those humans who don't know how to drive and the added headache of a traffic jam mid morning. lastly, if the govt was what it is supposed to be, all of those humans wouldn't be allowed to be on the road at the same time cause traffic congestion/accidents/delays. also, what about mechanical issues? you can pull onto the median if your car is experiencing mechanical issues. what a world this is to live in.

It is the chamber of commerce for pretty much the county and the city. Very nice very helpful young lady that assisted me that day. I would highly recommend if you have any questions about Summerville or if you have guests coming in they can find out a whole lot of stuff about a great town.

Wassamasaw Community Park dog part area is pretty basic. There are two different fenced in areas for small vs bigger dogs. Semi-shaded. Benches to relax on while your dog plays. There’s nothing extra about them-no play scape for dogs or anything. There is a water fountain outside the fenced in area. There’s also a short walk around the rest of the park. Restrooms are available. Basketball court. This small park is surrounded by homes, but close to just about anything for shopping, food, etc. Not a bad place to let your dog run.

Playground is outstanding. It is fenced in so children are safe and not running from parents. Benches in the playground area and the path are in excellent conditions and there are plenty of them. Path around the park is perfect for walking laps. Basketball courts are in great condition and used by many people. Bathrooms are clean. Picnic tables are clean.

Fantastic park! The playground was updated March 2024 and now includes a tall tower structure with slides, spinning toys, teeter totter type toy, and swings. My kids loved it! Fully fenced with two benches to sit on, picnic tables available under the adjacent pavilion. Good shade coverage from trees. Basketball courts, dog park, and paths also available. Super fun, quite spot!

Tried out the dog park. Found the dog park to be relaxing. My dogs roamed around, ran around a bit and loved it. I walked around enjoying the shade and trees. The park is showing its age in the wear and tear of the fencing and fixtures. It is established, though, with larger trees, walking trails, playground. Nice find.

Went to the dog park at Wassamassa with my Sheppard. Love the space and the shade trees for the dog and us.

Just a special kind of gorgeous when the azaleas and wisteria is in bloom in late March. We pass this park all the time on the way to church, but have never really stopped until then. We just took half an hour to walk around and enjoy the scenery, and the smells! When the flowers are in bloom the park smells just as good as it looks! Makes one grateful to call Summerville home.

Had a great time with the grandkids, (before COVID), at this little park off of Parkwood ave in Summerville! It was clean, had a variety of playground equipment for them to play on, (old school stuff like a merry-go-round and seesaw), and the azaleas were in bloom. Highly recommend for a nice, uncrowded spot to enjoy a little outdoor fun!

Nice playground, decently shaded. You could bring a dog with you for a quick walk. There is a gazebo, bridge, and one small table.

Found this little park for the first time today! Full of Summerville charm with mature trees, azaleas, a pond featuring a hippo sculpture, pretty bridge, and tons of turtles. It felt like an extension of Azalea Park!

It was beautiful. We are going to have our wedding there in March. The bridge and gazebo or the perfect setting. So peaceful.

This is a beautiful park, a hidden gem. It's not large, but there is green space, a pond, a small bridge, a gazebo, walking paths, and, like a previous reviewer wrote, an "old school" playground with a metal slide. I really enjoyed taking my 12 year old and 2 year old. We all had a fun time. Also, the ducks are friendly and will likely walk up to you for food. Don't be afraid.

Very nice space. Saw the new Doug Mcabee exhibit, which was crazy, wild, cool. and thought provoking. I spoke to the artist who was open to my many questions. 143, man, 143. I have never seen a bad or a safe show. This is a must visit when you are in Summerville, S.C.

Totally loving the evening pottery class at Public Arts in Summerville 😍. The instructor really knows her stuff, making it super fun and easy for newbies and art pros alike. Plus, the gallery's got some really cool local art to check out. They've got a bunch of different classes, too, so there's always something new to try. Def a must for anyone looking to get their creative vibes flowing! 🎨

My kids did a Saturday class there on how to make bath salts. Excellent experience from the website, to booking and paying, to the class itself! All materials were provided and the teacher was great. They even had extra on hand when my younger daughter's bath salts didn't turn out. The art gallery itself was a pleasant surprise, definitely worth checking out ! We got things from the gift shops on the way out. It's literally one of the best Saturdays my kids and I have spent in Summerville 🩵

Hidden Gem! This place is amazing and online photos and reviews do no justice: come see for yourself! Ruth was the docent today, and she was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The exhibits change quite frequently, so come often! The current exhibit is Release. Exactly what I needed. While taking a self-care day, I arrived at opening on a Thursday morning and had the place to myself. It was marvelously curated, beautifully displayed, and thoughtfully created. I enjoyed each piece, and found a few favorites I wouldn’t mind snagging at the upcoming Gala and silent auction! There are a multitude of events and activities coming up as well. I will certainly be a regular participant at this lovely place.

An amazing community resource. My typically physics/engineering-minded son fell in love with Anna Dean's Fluid Dynamics exhibition. This is going to be one of those places--like the Halsey Institute's gallery-- we keep coming back to.

A truly lovely place. The staff are always so kind, and I love seeing the exhibits. They have all sorts of events and classes, of which I particularly enjoy the open mic poetry sessions. They have a shop you can look through, and an old cigarette machine that sells little art pieces called the Art-O-Mat! Altogether a wonderful place of art and community.

A very sweet public art exhibit (free admission) that is worth an hour of your time if you are in downtown Summerville! They change the exhibit every few months and they are always interesting. Classes offered, while sometimes pricey, are well run and my kids have enjoyed them.

This Park means the world to me. My dad wanted a place to remember his family that was lost in the fire years ago. It's a little piece of heaven to me. It's quiet, peaceful just what my dad wanted. Family food and fun. It's where my ancestors farmed years ago. The old house set where Carolina Ale House is now. One day I will write a book about the Browns. Farming has been in my family for six plus Generations. Take your lunch, take your kids, or just take yourself for a little peace and quiet. Then enjoy all that the park offers.

Loved discovering this little park with my family. The girls loved the tire hammock swings. I liked walking the trail and like the open field to lay out. Good open space to do yoga and work out!

It's really kinda nice , however the local Dill Weeds don't find it important to keep there dogs on a leash... Shepard and Pitt two different people. Dogs almost got on to each other luckily I was there to distract both of them enough there owners got a hold of them and I gotta hold on my steering wheel and made like a tree...

Great place to hang out and walk around. Not as crowded as downtown Summerville and the area is an up-and-coming development with many more stores and restaurants soon to come. Would recommend this area to casually have out of you're tired of downtown Summerville.

Nice layout. Fun for little ones. All fenced. Although, I wish the enclosure didn't have brick edges. On the negative side there was a vagrant sleeping on a bench and seems to be a normal spot for dealing drugs, but that's almost unavoidable in Summerville.

Overall a great park, parking is the only real challenge. Very close to downtown, several fun courts and activities. Played pickleball here on Christmas with family - two courts side by side with a fence in between.

Great park for small kids and playing tennis

I love everything about Dottie Park the atmosphere the flowers the children's playground the tennis court, watching happy people! It's a wonderful place to just relax or walk. Picnic tables also clean bathrooms!

This is a small park in Summerville SC. The park features a large covered area with electric hookup for special events and an indoor building for meetings or just getting input of the heat. Everything is clean and we'll maintained.

It's a great place to get with family and friends for small events or to just take your kids to have a fun day and play,and if you play tennis you will love the tennis court.

Great little building for events. The building has ample parking nearby and it's near popular roads without being right next to them. This great for larger family events.

Nice little hidden playground in the Summerville area. Seems like it was renovated from the past posted pictures, and it's certainly charming. It doesn't have too much to offer but it's a nice and quiet place, with tables for picnics and a small roofed area for birthdays and celebrations. My kids loved it, and everything seems clean and well maintained.

First time coming after renovation and it looks so beautiful. The playground is great for all ages and I do not miss the sand, it has been replaced with wood chips and grass. They have plenty of picnic tables and benches. The pavilion is still there but they’ve moved the tables out and it is now empty not sure what it’s purpose is now. Definitely recommend it!
