Just had a delightful evening at Oscar's here in Summerville, and I'm already itching to go back! From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere was just perfect – cozy and inviting, elegantly relaxed. The service was truly top-notch; our server was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the stars of the show (mostly!): the food. Every dish that graced our table was an absolute delight. Seriously, each bite was a burst of deliciousness! And the best part? The prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we enjoyed. It's always a win when you leave feeling satisfied without breaking the bank. However, and this is where I have to be honest, the fried green tomatoes were a bit of a letdown. While I adore this Southern staple, the ones at Oscar's unfortunately didn't quite hit the mark. They were a little soggy, the breading lacked flavor, and the accompanying sauce wasn't quite right. It's a shame because everything else was so fantastic. The Verdict: Despite the minor hiccup with the fried green tomatoes, Oscars is a gem! The delicious food, exceptional service, and wonderful atmosphere make it a must-try in Summerville. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed dinner. Even without a reservation, we only waited about 25 minutes for a table for two, which was not bad at all. Our waitress was very helpful in walking us through the menu since it was our first visit. She was truly a delight. The food was absolutely amazing, full of flavor and comfort. We will definitely be coming back.

The only thing we’re disappointed with is that it took until our 14th anniversary to make this grand discovery. We booked reservations last minute to celebrate, and it was the best decision we could have made. First they brought out the best bread either of us have ever had with our wine. Then we had oysters on the half shell and mozzarella half moons for appetizers. They were both wonderful and the cheese pull was amazing. For our main entree, my husband had the prime rib with mashed sweet potatoes and spinach. He is still going on about the spinach being amazing and the prime rib cut like butter. I had the chicken carbonara and it was literally the best pasta I’ve ever tasted. We’re both already itching to go back for more. For desert I had the caramel xango and he had the banana’s Oscar. Both were absolutely amazing. Our waitress Tiffany was the cherry on top of our experience. She was so helpful when we had questions about the wine and good before ordering and never let our glasses get empty. Overall this was an amazing experience ❤️

This was our second visit. The first one was not good, but this time they redeemed themselves. Our first visit was for a Mother’s Day brunch, this time we went for dinner. The meals were great. We got the short rib and a NY strip steak, both were cooked perfectly! The Gouda mac and cheese was fantastic, Caesar salad was flavorful and the bread on the tables was soft and delicious. I also got the risotto, which was alright, and the broccoli was unseasoned- but overall, the star of the show was the short rib, which was worth the visit on it own. Oscar’s proved that they’re a local staple, as long as you’re there for what they do every day, great menu items served by friendly staff!

I’ve always heard good things about Oscar’s so I decided to have my anniversary dinner here. The experience was wonderful! Our server was such a sweetheart and everything came out in a very timely manner. The food was absolutely delicious and the mood lighting created such a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. My expectations were exceeded and I will definitely be back!

Really cool place to eat. It’s inside of an old power plant from 1903. Our server was amazing and the food was reasonable and arguably the best meal we had on our trip to Charleston.

A really great place to get chef quality food at a great price. Craft cocktails, unique beers, and of course, the excellent food. Friendly staff, who work extremely hard to make sure that you have a great visit. Highly recommend!

First time going to icehouse I just moved from NH was craving a steak tip salad ,I got the Icrhouse salad with rare steaktips, the steak is good but I think they could of thrown in bigger steak TIPS not steak strips? I asked for rare, by the time i got home the strips were a med well , a solid 3 fat TIPS would of been worth the 8$ but 5 thin strips I feel isnt worth the 8$ upcharge but it was still absolutely 10/10 delicious, the hostesses were very nice and the place was clean and full of customers, ill be back but might get something else give it a few tries before I move again, the salad was also delicious

I have shrimp and grits! I have had better but I've had worse also. Staff was wonderful the decor and the atmosphere was just wonderful in old train station building! It was wonderful to see the old structure with very old bricks used instead of being torn down.

Very cool, historic building that used to be an actual ice house where they delivered ice blocks to families in the summer. The food was good... I had the pecan encrusted pork chop with collard greens and mashed potatoes...a little heavy, but it was my fault for choosing it, still really good. The apple chutney that it came with was yummy. The colors greens and mashed potatoes are really good. The staff are very friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating. And there's an outdoor bar and playground for the kids.

Wonderful experience with amazing food! Our waitress was so sweet and very nice. The food was outstanding. I tried to get a picture of the dessert but it was gone before I could. We had the menu special: Grilled snapper and the 1/2 chicken with goat cheese mash potatoes and green beans. For dessert, we had the pecan pie with vanilla ice cream and crème brûlée. Our bellies are very happy and compliments to the wonderful chef! This is one of our favorite places for a family night or date night.

Stopped by for a wine tasting a while back and recently made our way there to get out of the cold and have a glass of wine. Interesting and eclectic decor, nice wine list.

Was introduced to this gem of a place last night and I can't wait to go back. The wine was fantastic and the chocolate sea salt cookies are to die for. The staff was super friendly and very helpful for deciding on what to have. I know next to nothing about wine but they didn't come across as pretentious and answered any questions I had. The store is so cozy and full of neat things and even art for sale. I definitely recommend it for a date night or even just a place to wind down after a work day.

Had a nice snack of meats, cheeses and nuts and a crisp chardonnay while shopping in the area. The charcuterie board was large for one person! So enjoyed! Staff is knowledgeable!!!!

We ordered the gourmet platter so we had 5 choices. I absolutely love the cambozola cheese and made it 2 of my 5 choices. Yummy!

What a great place to enjoy good wine with friends and family. They have a great selection of wine and craft beers. The staff is very knowledgeable about wines from all over the world.

I wanted chargilled oysters and they delivered. We tried other food as well but once again I just wanted my oysters and I left happy. This is a cute little rugged spot in the cut. Try it.

Went out the other night for dinner to try a new place. We were very impressed with the food and especially the service that we recieved from Sean! He made great suggestions on the menu and was very polite with a great personality! Even though the restaurant was packed busy and he was waiting on multiple tables he made sure that we were taken care of and had everything we needed!

The food was very good, came out super hot and fresh. The clam strips great! It came with a homemade tarter sauce that was delicious. The staff is very helpful, polite, and goes beyond their duties. Lost some car keys and the waitresses took the time to search with us and even ran out to us to give us the keys they had found. We were walking back to the car to see if it hard fallen in the car park. Decor is definitely a shack but it is in the name. Haha There is outdoor seating if you don't mind the heat.

The food and service were excellent. Hard shell lobster. It's really affordable. Lobster dinner was $24.99, and the low country boil was $17.99. From what we've found, these are decent prices. It's a small venue, so seating is at a premium. We ended up seated outside, but there was a heater that made it into a better experience than expected. The staff was attentive. There's an adorable black cat that I made friends with that is a local. I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again. Our hotel recommended this restaurant and they were right on the money.

Yinzers owner! Great little place for oysters. I recommend the grilled Parmesan garlic. Definitely don't miss this one if you are into a great raw bar. " For a shucking good time"

Absolutely delicious. We ordered a variety off of things of the menu to try. The crab was nicely seasoned and so was the shrimp. The fried pickles and crab dip are a must try if they have them! Staff was really friendly and fun

We love Shuckin Shack! Our 5 year old twins are seafood obsessed same as us so we get 2 dozen oysters and a pound of mussels and a pound of shrimp every time! Also, their slaw is to die for. Prices are so fair (compared to the same order in Boston-yah basically half the price)

This was without a doubt one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and well put together. Our server was incredible, friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. The food and drinks were delicious and exceeded expectations. Halls Chophouse truly knows how to deliver a great experience. I cannot wait to come back.

For our second wedding anniversary, we came to this incredible restaurant... From the moment that you walk in, you feel welcomed with not only incredible staff, but with a good ambience. Our waiter rob was incredible and helped us pick some of the key things in the menu. The grouper and the scallops were exquisite, and they were courteous enough to provide us with complementary champagne for our anniversary and an incredible dessert. I will give this a five plus star for all above mentioned.And I must go to spot to go for special occasions.good job!!

Tonight, I went in to celebrate our anniversary and my wife’s birthday. The waiter and the floor manager went above and beyond to ensure that our evening was extra special. They provide recommendations on menu items, drinks and desserts. The shrimp and grits was delicious and artfully served. The prime rib was tender and seasoned to perfection. While a steak knife was proved, it was not needed. They maintained a healthy amount of check-ins and refills throughout our dinning experience. For our first experience, it was beyond what we could image and was beyond what we expected. As an added bonus, there was a live band playing a mix of classics and current music. Highly recommended! A great great to celebrate life special events.

I’ve only been to the place downtown but I had to see how the nexton location compared. Let me tell you that they didn’t let me and was absolutely on time. The service was great, atmosphere was beautiful with the music playing and again the service was over the top. I was actually gonna go to sweetwater 123 but I’m glad that they closed early on Sundays. So I called up Halls and made reservations right away because I’m a pretty impulsive guy due to my 🧠 injury. But I made the reservations within 20 minutes of arriving. All was good, we were seated right away and taken care of. Even though the steak was slightly overcooked they took it back immediately recooked it to the desired temperature. Also was given half off the meal due to this mishap. I’ll definitely be visiting again. Oh the interior was gorgeous and craftsmanship was put into all of it. Thanks for the great meal. Oh the dessert was amazing.

Had a great anniversary dinner at Halls. The steak was amazing as always and we loved being treated to a complimentary dessert for the occasion. Our server was fantastic as was the entire staff. Have loved coming here for years and will continue to do so. By the way, the Blackberry Kentucky Mule special cocktail was amazing and a real treat compared to my regular Old Fashions.

My girlfriend and I were recommended here by my aunt, who lives in Summerville. Our server went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience of this fine dining restaurant. I can't say enough good about the food and service. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

One of these days I'll shell out and come for dinner. And when I do, I hope I'll rewrite this and give them 5 stars. I've been twice now. Once with my wife for brunch and once with my boss for lunch. For brunch I got the chophouse omelet. It was fine. Nothing to write home about. It was largely pretty bland, undersalted, and the most noticeable taste was the sherry they soaked the mushrooms in. The grits side I ordered with it was fantastic, though. When I went for lunch I got the steak sandwich. The positives were that it was pretty hefty, and the horseradish wasn't overpowering. Downside was it between the steak juices and the grease, it was a soggy mess. They should get some kind of bread that can hold up to the moisture better. Of course none of this is what people really come to Hall's for, and I'm still absolutely open to coming for dinner and expect that when I do it'll live up to the hype.

No longer the same! Menu is completely different. We miss some of the unique entrees this place had in the past. Ordered a burger medium well and it was rare. Silverware was filthy. Pork nachos were lacking pork…Very sad…won’t return here again.

This is a cool and casual place to hang out. It has indoor and outdoor seating. We went around 6 on Saturday and there was also live music. There is parking on the street. Although it was still hot we did decided to sit outside. They do have misting fans. My only gripe was that our table didn’t have an umbrella. Waitress was ok. We ordered drinks. I had the Summerville sunset. We ordered the cauliflower bites and for dinner the fish taco lil spicy but ok and my husband had the cheesesteak sandwich which had great reviews and he liked it! Will come back for a hang out spot!

I visit Montreux every weekend and only live one mile away. Emily is always gives the best service and extremely proof and I ask for her every weekend due to her professionalism and friendly attitude and proof and provides the best service I have ever experienced as long as I have been coming every weekend 3 times a week and no one has ever provided better service than Emily. She is Fantastic. I have been coming here for two years every weekend. I appreciate great hospitality and the service she provides. It’s hard to find the service she provides every weekend I look forward to seeing her and giving her a hug and she immediately responds and gets right on taking care of me and my friends. We LOVED their old menu but they got bought out. Menu is completely different. They had a sweet spicy pasta that was all I could think about but gone now. Wish we had the old Monts back or at least the menu. Lots of friends have stopped going.

The menu change is different but refreshing and cool! We had the flatbread and the jambalaya pasta and it was super tasty. Good prices drinks and a fun atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back and try more.

Drinks were definitely the highlight — the green tea shot bomb and margaritas were solid. Huge thanks to McKenna, our waitress — she was a great host and super friendly! Unfortunately, the food just didn’t hit the mark for me, which was disappointing since I was really looking forward to visiting from out of town. The spinach artichoke dip was underwhelming (honestly, not even mediocre), the grilled cheese came out cold and lacking in cheese, and the quesadilla was just meh. The food didn’t live up to the photos, which looked way better than what we got. Maybe next time I’ll try something different, but overall, I’d give the experience a 5 out of 10

Great spot for a family dinner! The steak was delicious, the kids loved their pizza and fruit, and the spinach dip is a must-try. Service was friendly and fast. Can’t beat Kids Night—meals for 99¢ on Tuesdays! Highly recommend!

I ordered a rare 12oz ribeye with side salad and broccoli, when it arrived it was still hot, not fresh off the grill piping hot. But hot enough to eat and wasnt under a heat lamp, everything was seasoned perfectly, I expected the steak to cook a bit because the heat of the to go box, bit it didnt cook that much more witch is amazing! 10/10 highly recommend! Steak wasnt fatty as a ribeye usually is in my personal opinion, the broccoli was perfectly cooked and seasoned it wasnt mushy and soggy .. just moved from NH and tried alot of places and this is BY FAR the best of all the food ive tried in SC so far !! Ive worked in kitchens my whole life, great job kitchen staff 👏🏼👏🏼

Had the most tender, juiciest burger I've had in a long time. I can't stop thinking about it! It was brought out fresh on a brioche bun with lettuce, pickles, and if you want raw onions they're 75¢ extra (annoying as I didn't know until receiving the check -_- ) Fried pickles were breaded lightly and not too salty, which I am usually worried about. Sarah was very attentive and sweet. Made sure we had everything we needed. Great place to watch sports and hang out or play pool.

Very disappointed in my experience. The first picture was the Creamy Spinach Chicken and Shrimp ordered two weeks ago. The second picture is what was received tonight. Mashed potatoes were cold, broccoli was brown, and it was straight soup. It took about 10 minutes for the server to come back to check on us after bringing our food. When we showed her the first picture of what the same meal looked like two weeks ago, she questioned if that was from their restaurant. The third picture is the replacement meal I got, which still was not the same and still soup, although at least it was hot. When the manager brought it to the table there was no acknowledgment or apology for the unacceptable meal. He simply asked if we were waiting for food. It wasn’t until the end of the meal that there was acknowledgment from our server for my partner and I not to being able to eat together. Waste of an $18 meal.

Great place to watch New England Patriots games as the back patio has fans every week and the game is on the big screen. Food is consistently great and they have a large beer selection on tap with chilled tall glasses! My husband loves wings and said these are the best he’s had In the Charleston area. Kendal was our server last week and she provided exceptional service while also covering inside tables. The ale house also has skeeball which is my mom and my favorite so we play at halftime. The manager saw us struggling with our $ bill to play the game and assisted without us asking. Definitely go to the Carolina Ale House in Summerville!

I had the island tacos, they were so soggy and gooey I couldn’t eat the tortilla. Chips were stale, I asked for another order but they were out, salsa tasted watered down. My husband’s meal wasn’t much better. Service was not very good. We were there the night before , sat at the bar, service was great! We both had the steak and it was excellent. I guess it’s hit or miss

We had the grilled corn appetizer and I had the shrimp and grits plate. The food wasn't perfection, but it was very good. I requested my grits to be prepared traditionally as they come normally as grit cakes. The service was timely and very friendly. The atmosphere was excellent!

Don't judge this place by its cover: empty parking lot, doesn't look appetizing from the outside. They serve good tasty portions. Can't give them 5 stars due to waitress' service and also not the best Mexicana/Hispanic food I've had 😋🤷‍♀️ There was a delay in the quality of waitress service. Our food was really good! I really like the nachos the organic chicken was tender. The kids meals were large and had healthy options for side such as grilled sweet potatoes and side salad. 8 loved my salad just didn’t love the fresh g. Zero taste other than olive oil. Would definitely go again. The best thing in the menu was Mexican street corn.

Came here to meet with a family member who just moved to the area. We were not really hungry, but we felt like snacking We ordered margaritas, bang bang shrimp and steak taco. At first thought is easy to think that you’re going to a traditional Mexican restaurant. But I would like to suggest that you read the description. This restaurant is exactly what it says it is in the description. I feel that it is a place that specializes in meals that are traditionally served in the southwestern part of the US. For example, we ordered tacos and bang bang shrimp. There were other things on the menu that you would find in places other than Mexican restaurant. I say this because I was also confused the first time I ate there years ago. It’s in a good location close to the Nexton area, right off of the main road and exit 199 coming from Highway 26. If you’re not familiar with the area,l you may ride ride on by. The place is nice and clean. The waitresses were very attentive and I really love the atmosphere. It’s kind of dim inside - we had to use a flashlight to see the menu. It could’ve been just us . Other than that I really like the place. I will stop there for a fast quick meal or drinks at anytime. The food was good also.

This was my first time here, and we had a large party (more than 15) set to arrive at 8pm. W had to wait for everyone to arrive before we could order food, and that turned into a mess. We didn't eat until after 10 pm... By the time we finished, the place was closed. I just feel it could have been a bit more organized with the large parry and all. The food was okay. The drinks were really good! Strong!

The food was really good. It’s very cold in there so be prepared. The environment was really nice and clean. The waiter was nice as well. Street corn was amazing, vodka cucumber mules were good, omg the queso with beef was amazing!!! Pricing is a little high for some entree items but overall it’s pretty good.

First time ever going there. Food prices seemed a bit steep, but everything is these days. Their home-made bloody Mary was decent but way too much ice. I got the Adobe fries with steak. Brought home half of it, great taste and super filling. Wife got the steak and shrimp fajitas. She says the quac was awesome. I tried her steak and the taste difference between mine and hers was amazing. Normally in a restaurant the steaks all taste the same, not here, each had its own individual flavor.

The cold brew martini 🤌 I've been here a few times and it's never disappointed. The atmosphere is low key about welcoming and the staff is always upbeat and friendly. This is a great place to hang out with friends or bring a date. They have a good tapas menu and a solid list of various spirits and mixed drinks. Their cold brew martini changed me on espresso martinis. The flavor was so well balanced it would be very easy to drink multiple in succession. Check them out the next time you're in the area

I enjoy coming here from time to time to study or attend their wine tasting nights. The owner is so nice and very knowledgeable about wines. The rest of the staff are always so friendly and make me feel welcome. I wish they did have a bigger and more unique wine list but I’m always able to find a couple I enjoy. They have a nice ambiance and plenty of seating that’s comfortable. Nice spot in downtown Summerville.

We go here for grown up dad and daughter dates. My father and I split a bottle of wine and some tapas, and have a nice conversation. It's not super loud with music or TV's... It's a great cozy, adult hang out. Love it!

We were visiting family in Summerville SC from NJ and wanted to grab a bit before the visit. We are so happy we found the Wine & Tapas Bar in Summerville – as we love wine. For us it was a perfect find. They certainly invested in the decor', a wonderful ambiance to enjoy wine and some delicious bites. We started with a 4 item charchari board 2 meats and 2 cheese (sorry forgot to take a picture), all were great especially the pistachio nut infused salami. We then had the smoked salmon and chicken salad sliders - both were fabulous. Had 2 bottles of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and bought another 2 bottles to take to our family visit. Highly recommend the Wine & Tapas Bar in Summerville SC.

Live music, wine tasting and tasty treats! After walking around the downtown square looking at the holiday lights, we popped in for a quick drink. This place does not disappoint! Everyone is beyond friendly. There happened to be live music and a wine tasting when we stopped in. Fun spot to hang with friends and family.

Grabbed a quick weekday lunch. Specifically, we went for outdoor seating since it was such a beautiful day outside. The staff was attentive, food was fresh, and the beer was cold. From an atmosphere [vibe] point of view... the plants are dead outside and could use some TLC. The TV was off and would recommend it be on with patrons in the area. The food is great for a sports pub. The bartenders and waiters are very kind and respectful. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. I visit the Charleston Sports Pub near my home in Ladson two or three times a week. It’s become my go too for a bite to eat and good place to hang out with friends.

Excellent service and atmosphere! The food was very good also. I got the tacos on taco Tuesday so 3 tacos cost me $9. The Nashville hot taco was outstanding.

Stop by today around 2:30, they were slow and there were many available seats at the bar. We sat at the bar for 6 min while the bartender served the people on either side of us but never spoke to us; bar service has continued to decline e I e the last several months. Went across the parking lot to Agave, spent $100 and enjoyed the game while drinking and eating at the bar. We wont be back.

There is a little something for everyone at Homegrown not just beer. It is great that they have a few food items now. The live music was great and the whole place, in the middle of downtown Summerville, has a small town , but trendy feel. I had the Radler and tried a few ciders since I am not a huge beer drinker. Many others in my party tried a lot of the beer on tap and were happy. The whole place, including the bathrooms, are clean.

Such a cute place with really wonderful and well educated team members. We've lived in Summerville for four years and visited for the first time today. I learned a lot and so did my girls (8) and (9).

Oh my this museum is super informative. Lots of great history about our beautiful area. One of the newest additions is the Palmetto Paleontology Museum is absolutely astonishing. All local fossil found right here in SC. Skye Basak and Josh Basak are two very knowledgeable fossil hunters. Don’t miss this opportunity to visit this exhibit while in Summerville.

The docent was so thoughtful! Tickets are 10$ for adults and children are free. The bird scavenger hunt is so neat!

This museum is small but full of history and interesting stories. Our guide, Pam, was amazing!! My kids and I learned a lot and had an incredible time. My kids would not stop staring at the artifacts our guide was talking about. She made it very entertaining and fun! We will definitely go back soon. There were some places we didn’t get to see be wise we arrived late and even then, Pam agreed to take us around. Highly recommend it!

This is a fascinating little museum with a lot of history about Summerville. It was well worth the time to go see it.

You walk in and are greeted . 10$ for adults 8$ for military . No wait and you can pay there . Sign in so they can receive grants . We wanted to go here to learn more about Summerville and the history . I recently moved here due to a PCS . You can walk around and listen to a QR code app or a volunteer can take you through and talk about everything (which we did) she was very knowledgeable. I didn’t feel uncomfortable or feel negative vibes . Just a really nice informative place with some cool artifacts from the area . I was blown away with some things I learned ! Would recommend to locals and travelers

When I walked in, it looked like it was a small two room business on my right when I arrived. I thought, simple, selling machines and that it until I saw a hallway that lead me to the world of wonder with personally, various quotes, samples, all kinds of fabrics, notions and a small play area for your child. The whole building is the store!

Visited this wonderful shop while on vacation in SC. They have a great selection of fabric and everyone was very helpful. Made a couple of dresses with the material I bought. Will definitely come back when I visit again.

An absolutely adorable fabric and quilting shop, and it's much bigger than it looks on the outside. They have an excellent variety of woven fabrics, including Tula Pink and other fun prints 🦋 Every single employee I interacted with was super sweet and informative as well! A few years ago, a friend invited me to see the play “Clue” at Flowertown Players. It surpassed all of my expectations for community theatre. It was hilarious! This past November, I noticed Flowertown Players was having auditions for Into the Woods, one of my all-time favorite musicals. My wife helped me work up the courage to audition, and to my surprise, Flowertown Players has become my new home. The sense of community that you feel at FTP is unlike any other theatre I’ve ever been a part of. The directors care about you. They treat you like old friends we’ve known forever, and you have a blast connecting with people of all different backgrounds. Furthermore, the president of the theatre meets you in person, supports every show and hugs the actors like they’re family. She also attends every outreach to get the next generation of theatre nerds to be a part of the magic. This isn’t just a community theatre to see some plays and musicals. This is the heart of downtown Summerville, a haven for actors, techies, musicians and everything in between with day jobs that have nothing to do with theatre… and the place where I finally feel at home. Whether you’re a patron buying a ticket or you’re a body on the stage - you’re appreciated and loved at Flowertown Players. 10/10 recommend!

Great actors and well done!!! Saw the performance of " A Christmas Story " today with my husband and son. This was our first play we had attended at Flowertown and was not disappointed. Awesome environment and very family friendly and kind people. The actors are amazing and please show your support and go see them. We can't wait to go and see more plays asap!!! My wife and I moved to SC a couple of years ago and thankfully were introduced to the theater shorty thereafter. We have enjoyed multiple shows- comedies and musicals. Every show we have seen has been stellar. The staff has always been kind, inviting and helpful. The cast has always been amazing and on point! Most recently I saw the show Noises Off. I think the theater did an excellent job at communicating the “mature audience” or “adult content” with the show. Ok, yes, it has some language and some sexual references and innuendos, but nothing that takes away from the show. This show is hilariously chaotic. The cast is hilarious—each one fully embracing their character/s. Gosh, I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard at a live performance than I did in the second act. Kudos to y’all. This small theater truly is a GEM in the low country. Check it out! I promise you will not be disappointed.

I’ve been to a few productions this year and have thoroughly enjoyed them! Noises off is the play showing right now, and I recommend for a good laugh and appreciation for theater performances. This play is chaotically wonderful and brilliantly executed! The atmosphere is fun and the people are amazing.

The Flowertown Players are a true gem in Summerville! My wife and I love supporting local community theatre, and every performance is a wonderful reminder of how much talent and heart exists right here in our town. If you haven’t been, go experience the magic of local arts—you won’t be disappointed!

Awful show - not appropriate! Runchy. I wonder what was funny about snorting coke, cursing like a sailor and the half naked girl? I guess I was not the only one to exit before the production was over. I was one of 15 that I was able to count that left.

Just saw their rendition of Clue and loved every minute of it! It's a small theatre, but the actors were great and the show was very well done. A wonderful place to spend a couple of hours watching an enjoyable show. Great for a date night or get together. 10/10 would definitely go back!

The burgers are excellent and the service is very good. The tater tot appetizer is the most perfectly seasoned dish I've ever had. It's taste is so big and pronounced like you're eating something other than tater tots. I can't wait to come back.

Date night and we decided to go to The Knot for some food and we weren’t disappointed. The smash burgers they serve here are ridiculously good! Cooked to perfection and the flavors were on point! Apparently, the place picks a local charity, business, or community project to support and raise funds for and this month they happen to be doing so for Hurricane Coffee Company. I happen to be dating the owner of Hurricane Coffee Company so it was a no brainer for where we were going for date night. We started with drinks. She had the Capri Sun Sour and I went with the Sweet Tea Mule. Both were amazing! I was pleasantly surprised to discover Kona Big Wave on tap and switched it up after my cocktail. Such a good beer. For food, she went with the monthly special sandwich called the Picnic Chicken Burchy, which was very tasty - fried chicken topped with pickles, BBQ sauce, coleslaw, and potato chips. I had the Jalapeño Popper Burchy and made it a double - a double smash burger with cheese, bacon, fried jalapeños, and house made popper sauce. Nothing short of spectacular! We had tots and fries as sides and the portions were perfect. I have had some damn good burgers and The Knot ranks in my Top 10. Great vibes, great food, great drinks, and amazing service

An actual smash burger! Wispy edges, tons of flavor + you pick how many patties you want. Also get the fried mushrooms with horsey sauce! Also the house made Irish cream + freeze dried candy are a must! Plus they are fantastic with supporting local charities and have a monthly charity burchy!

I love burgers. I have had a LOT of burgers. For many many years, I have always claimed that ikes korner grill in Spartanburg was the best burger in South Carolina...was, until tonight. I had a double smash burger, Swiss burchy burger style, and i can confidential say that burger was absolutely perfect. I cant think of a way that burger could improve, nor think of a burger that could top that. Ate half of the burger before even considering taking a picture! Also had the cinnamon toast crunch drink (rumchata and fireball) and that was delicious as well. The seasoned pickles were really good, i was just too full after eating the burger and 4 of the pickles. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone, and will be back. Again, EASILY, the BEST burger in South Carolina. If i could rate this place 10 stars, I absolutely would

Everyone was friendly. Great atmosphere. Food was delicious. The perfect margarita topped it off just right.

My burger was smashed and overly crunchy on the edges. I couldn't eat it. It was one layer of crunch.... no meat. For someone who doesn't know what a smashed burger is.... this was just a dried out crunchy mess. My dogs enjoyed it when I got home though. (Snarky remarks from the owner didn't help my experience. No empathy.... just snark!) Edit for response to owner... If my server had paid us any attention I would have asked. My photo was used for social media and the patrons totally insulted me because I'm used to a real burger. To each their own. It's OK. You do you and I will do me. Thanks for everything.

A nice place. Very "homey". Veteran owned which boosts it's status to me. They tend to favor German types of beers, but offer a very nice variety of home brews. Staff is friendly and provide lots of guidance regarding their beers. It would be great if they offered munchies, but currently, they have menus for outside restaurants to deliver. The beers were excellent and I will definitely be returning there often.

Well hidden behind several buildings. That surprised us since the Summerville visitor info hypes it a lot. You can park in a parking garage near the court house. We walked past a spot labeled "reserved for prisoner transfer"! If you are strolling around the area, this is worth a quick trip. But once you take a picture of it, there's nothing else to do there

It’s free to see the tea. The tea is a little easy to miss, it’s not on the main road. You go down a little Hallway between two buildings. There are public bathrooms right by it but there were locked when I went. The town itself is really cute and has a lot to offer so definitely worth the stop. Check out the surrounding area/shops while there.

Such a fun and unique stop! The World’s Largest Sweet Tea is definitely a cool southern attraction worth checking out. It’s a great photo op and a fun way to celebrate classic southern culture. The area around it is charming too — a perfect little roadside stop if you’re passing through. Sweet tea lovers, don’t miss it!

Neat little ‘hidden’ gem in Summerville SC. Plenty of other shops and stores around the block or so surrounding it that you can visit as well, but don’t go on a Sunday or most won’t be open, or will close very early.

It’s very low key right outside the back of the garage in between the buildings. If you walk out toward shuckin shack turn right At biscuit belly and you will see it shortly on the right side. I was lost but I found it. I took my kids to take pictures out there very unique. If your visiting downtown Summerville stop by snap a few shots. It’s free to visit and park.

New to South Carolina the staff at the farmers market pointed me in the right direction they have a bench you can sit and it's peaceful and calm

We stopped into town just to see the world’s largest ice tea! Turns out... it is quite hidden! We assumed it would be out in plain sight but it is tucked away between buildings. There is one line of sight through a corridor and staircase. Definitely worth the trip to check it out! Summerville is cute too!

Had been wanting to try this place while we were on vacation in Charleston. Made the drive to Summerville and it was well worth it . Great spot with a speakeasy vibe . Had a couple of drinks , some food and a cigar . Everything was fantastic. Love the atmosphere and ambience of this place . Will definitely come back when in town . This was better than just about every bar and speakeasy in downtown Charleston .

The service and atmosphere were excellent, with standout items like the Crème Brûlée Cheesecake and exquisite made to order cocktails. This place is a great addition to downtown Summerville, featuring an outdoor garden for those who prefer outdoor seating. The reviewer plans to return.

We were a party of 4 and we were all very impressed. They never disappoint here. The service is great, the drinks are really good, the champagne flight, the smoked old fashioned were good. The food was really good too.

I’m not typically one for writing reviews, but this place deserves all the recognition. I’m a “regular” here and my first time coming was in October 2022 when they had their Harry Potter night. I can’t believe it’s taken my hometown this long to get a cocktail bar. Honestly, how did we function without it? It’s such a great place to read a book, people watch or even meet up with friends. Not only does it have the ambiance of a speakeasy, but the drinks, food and staff also create a memorable experience. I’ve had the most interactions with Michele and she’s amazing. Truly, she’s so very kind and she always goes above and beyond to check-in and recommend something new. Definitely checkout The Azalea Bar, if you’ve never been. You won’t regret it!

5/7/2025. Been here many times. Never been disappointed. They don’t have many food options, mostly apps. Don’t come here to drink beer, this is not a bar. (they do have canned beer, but you look silly drinking beer here) You come here to experience the many great drinks Elizabeth makes for you. The atmosphere is cool. They have different themed rooms. Outdoor seating is available. Place gets very busy sometimes so be patient or come early. Highly suggest this place for a cocktail.

Man, I love this place. I wish I could taste the entire menu. You want to feel fancy? Come here. Yes, the drinks are over $10 but you get what you pay for… incredible cocktails! It’s worth it, live a little.

Very cool place. Feels upscale but can do casual or dressy here. Had two different cocktails and both were excellent tasting and unique. Atmosphere has a speakeasy feel to it. At least in the middle room where we sat at a table (though there were multiple couch areas). They do have a dessert menu but we did not try any food.

Great studio & great staff! Had an unforgettable afternoon with my family last weekend. Lilly was patient and super helpful, making sure our projects were perfect. I’m not a big craft person but would absolutely do this again.

My wife and I went to Nailed It for a date and had a great time! Jessi walked us through the whole process of creating our artwork. She also contributed to the excellent atmosphere by being a great host. We had a blast! I highly recommend!

The staff at the DIY studio in Summerville are really something special! We had a birthday party with 10–6/7 yo kiddos and every one of them had a blast! They all got to create their own art to take with them. The staff were so patient and kind with the excited and talkative bunch! What a fun party!! Highly recommend for birthday parties!

I visited Nailed It for the first time as part of a girl's night. We had so much fun. The studio has so many projects to choose from (it was a hard decision) and lots of paint options. After placing my order, the manager reached out to see if I wanted the location customized; I didn't think that was possible and hadn't even emailed/called. That was awesome and speaks to their customer service. Their employees guided us with great advice and instruction. It made everything easy. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend you visit.

The staff was very helpful and worked very fast at the last minute for our group. It was very fun and a great experience! I can't remember her name but the lady that helped my cousin and I was very fun and informative with great help! I plan to return soon.

Cathy was so gracious and squeezed in a party of 6 last minute. She was so helpful with the process and walked us through everything. We had so much fun for our whole family kids including. We will definitely be back. Ps. The ice cream was great too!

What happened to this bar? Over the last year, it has gone to trash.. it's great there open late.. customers drunk acting like bouncers starting fights and drama. Bartenders are aggressive towards out-of-towners. No management or owners? It's a Free for all.. it's a bar. Have a good time, but you're still a business. Have some integrity. Downtown Summerville deserves better. We deserve better.. we can be better.

I love going to the icehouse bar!! Idk Whether it's JJ, the darts, the drink options and prices or the music trivia I love most! All of the bartenders are great people with awesome personalities, but JJ always makes it her business to make sure you have a great time as well. She's so fun and lively; you can truly tell she loves her job. Mikey, Randy and Josh are a blast, too. I tell so many people about this place and will continue to do so. I even had a surprise party thrown for me here on my birthday

I'm only speaking about the bar. Peter is a true genius at making drinks. I have been welcomed Upstairs at The Icehouse for as long as I can remember. Please give a visit you will not be disappointed.

Been going here since I moved to Summerville in 2015, although it’s changed a little over the years the IH will always be the best bar in the area. I highly recommend it for anyone new to the area for anyone looking to make new friends. I met a lot of my friends here and my husband. The bartenders, past and present are some of the nicest, kindest people you will hope to meet. They have live music on Tuesdays and Sundays and it’s always a fun night out.

This place is pretty damn cool. I love it.

Staff is extreme rude we had friends visiting Summerville and one of the bartenders asked her, “if she has ever heard of a gym before”. It is also a very rough crowd at night of people just looking to start a fight. Lastly, the outside and deck is full of people smoking weed.

Olacy’s Pub is such a vibe. Super chill atmosphere, great prices, and honestly just the kind of place you end up staying way longer than planned. Lauren, the bar manager, is an absolute gem—so warm, on top of everything, and just makes the whole place feel like home. Karaoke nights are always a good time (even if you’re just there for the entertainment). Whether you’re catching up with friends or flying solo, Olacy’s hits every time. Total hidden gem.

O’Lacy’s is a Summerville staple that holds a big part of my heart! The bartenders, the atmosphere, and the prices make it one of the few places left that remind me of what Old Summerville was. I love this place!!

This is a quaint little pub, in a quiet town. For entertainment, there are pleasant bartenders, sports on tvs, and live music. Cushy chairs and loveseats are available to relax in, as well as plenty of seating at the large bar.
