The Dead Dog Saloon is a popular waterfront tavern known for its live music, outdoor seating, and delicious bar food and seafood favorites. After being rebuilt following a fire in 2012, it has become a go-to spot on the Marsh Walk. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes from simple fare like burgers and sandwiches to seafood and steak specialties.
I love love this place. Love all the cute dog photos and memorials. Very sweet idea. Food is always amazing! We come here every time we come to the beach, multiple times a year! The Cobb salad is huge and a nice surprise. I added blackened shrimp. Also, the hush puppies are delicious!

My favorite place at Murrells inlet. Where else can you go that family/kid friendly plus have a bar atmosphere, live bands, quick service. I mean this place runs like a well oiled machine. Ate here several times. Wait times can vary. We were told 35 minutes but got seated in just 10 minutes. Watched live music while we waited. It is loud but you can still talk. Every waiter/waitress is spot on. Great attitude. Food is great. I’ve tried just about everything. Pulled pork was a little dry to my liking but chopped brisket is very good. They do serve breakfast on early hours. Truly if you are in or near this place stop in 1,2, or 3 times. Worth it.
Paul M — Google review
Food and atmosphere were really great. Would recommend the brisket and burgers but truthfully all of our food was very good. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
Monika C — Google review
I have no idea what went wrong here, but we had a very bad experience. Out of fairness, there was nothing wrong with the staff. The service, the cleanliness, and the attitude were all great. We even came early, ordered a beer, walked out on the pier, came back, sat down, and ordered two pounds of chilled peel-and-eat shrimp for $20. That is an outstanding value compared to where I live. When the shrimp arrived, my wife tried the first one and immediately said, "I can't eat these, they're mushy." I had eaten a couple myself, and while they were definitely mushy, I finished them all, being the glutton that I am. Could I have said something to the staff or sent them back to the kitchen? Absolutely. However, I didn't want to turn into one of those "quote-unquote" customers, and they just asked "need anything?"No, "How is the food?" (I know, nite picking) As far as I could tell, the shrimp had been frozen, thawed, and were simply not fresh. Then, halfway through the meal, my wife said she was going to order some hush puppies. She asked the waitress, who replied, "Oh, you get free hush puppies, I'll just go get 'em." It seemed like one misstep after another. Would I go back? I'm not sure, especially since there are so many other locations right next door. The reason for the negative review is that your business is advertised primarily as a **seafood** restaurant. This means there should be only good-quality food coming out of the kitchen at all times. If it were strictly a bar that served food, I might almost expect a quality issue.
Ken B — Google review
Great atmosphere and food. We ordered the Smokey pig burger which was cooked perfectly. We also got the 2 meat combo meal which was great as well. The complementary hush puppies are also SO good!

This place is awesome! Lots of parking and a fun oversized beach chair for pictures out front. Our server was friendly and the food was fast and delicious! I'd definitely go there again!!
Gregory R — Google review
Great food and portions. Quick service. Paul Grimshaw Band did not disappoint. We can only come once a year when we visit from Ontario but always come back.
Linda G — Google review
This is our second summer visiting this restaurant, and it’s easy to see why it stays busy. The location offers a beautiful view, especially when seated outside, and the live music adds the perfect touch of summer vacation vibes. The hush puppies served to every table are absolutely delicious, and the shrimp plate is definitely worth trying. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, that’s to be expected with seafood. The service has been consistently friendly and efficient. We’ll definitely be back again!

Drunken Jack's Restaurant & Lounge is a lively seafood grill and bar with a pirate-themed ambiance and a patio offering picturesque views. The restaurant boasts nautical decor and serves hand-selected fresh seafood by Chef Casey Blake. Guests can enjoy panoramic water and marsh island views from the patio while sipping on tropical drinks. The menu includes fried seafood platters featuring scallops, shrimp, triggerfish, flounder, and oysters served with hush puppies and whipped honey butter.
We had an incredible dining experience at Drunken Jack’s! The salmon was absolutely phenomenal — it literally melted in my mouth. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The hush puppies were amazing as well, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We also tried one of their dinner specials, which did not disappoint — everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. There was live guitar music during our visit, which added a really nice touch to the atmosphere without being too loud. The restaurant offers plenty of seating, including an upstairs area, indoor seating, and a spacious outdoor patio. It’s very family-friendly, which made it a great choice for dining with our child. For two adults and one child, including appetizers, our total bill was under $115 — a great value considering the quality of the food and service. Highly recommend Drunken Jack’s if you're looking for delicious seafood, a relaxing vibe, and a family-friendly environment.

We were told Marsh Walk was the place to go for a good time so we ventured down there for a nice meal. We waited about 30 minutes out of our 1 hour expected wait without a reservation on a Friday night. We got to walk the marsh while waiting. I expected more but it was simply a walk on a boardwalk. Our server was Danielle. I ordered the Drunken Jacks Sampler and the Casey Risotto. The Sampler was a bit heavy for an appetizer. The Risotto was pretty good. It had blackened fish and scallops. The scallops were incredible. The complimentary Hushpuppies here were much heavier than previous locations. I was able to eat about 6-8 and started to feel full.

If your anywhere near Murrells Inlet, SC. You MUST stop at Drunken Jacks. This restaurant is awesome. Been here twice and cannot say enough about how great the food is, the service and the view of the inlet. The hush puppies are the best! For those of you that are gluten free, there are many options.

I0 out of 10, would recommend! After coming to this area my whole life, we finally decided to try Drunken Jacks. The outside has always thrown me off, but the inside is classy, and elegant, beautiful. The food was perfectly cooked! Very light and fresh tasting. Awesome view of the Inlet and fun to watch boats and wildlife soaking in the day. Great service from Mandy, and tasty cocktails. Inside bar area looks super cozy and a nice place to watch a storm roll in. We have a new fav and will definitely be back, making this a permanent part of our rotation! Made new friends also, which was fun!

Everytime my wife and I go to Myrtle Beach,SC we go to Drunken Jack's for a seafood dinner. My go to is the stuffed flounder and my wife loves the scallops. Our service was really good this time, from being seated,to being served. Our server was on top of taking care of us,from drink refills to checking often to see if everything was alright. The atmosphere is always pleasant and we are left feeling that the staff appreciated our choosing their restaurant for our dinner.

Live music venue
Hot Fish Club, located in Murrells Inlet, is a historic establishment dating back to 1792. Originally a social club for epicureans, it now houses a seafood restaurant and Gazebo bar with live music. The place is adorned with a cool mural and nearby Lost at Sea Memorial at Morse Landing Park. It has become a go-to spot for seafood enthusiasts due to its diverse menu offering an extensive selection of delectable options.
We had a fantastic dinner here with excellent food and service. Our waiter Sully was patient, charismatic and helpful. We ordered two soups, the chowder and she crab (we preferred the she crab). For entrees we had the lobster pot pie, huge portion and unreal in the best way. Also the Chilean sea bass with risotto which was a little salty but cook on the fish was absolutely perfect. We would totally return again since there is so many great things on the menu.
Erin R — Google review
In the last few years, my family has stumbled upon the Hot Fish Club and it has become a regular part of our vacation dinner spots. Luckily, my wife and I were able to go twice while being in town this summer. With Hot Fish being a hot spot for both visitors and locals, it is best to reserve a table in advanced. We reserved our tables two weeks prior to our vacation. In the past, my wife and I have walked in and decided to sit at the bar and the food, atmosphere and service is still top notch. Since we have been coming for a while, we have collectively tried a good amount of food off their menu (sushi, specials, apps, wine, you name it) and it is all excellent. Considering our most recent trips, 7/9 and 7/16, collectively my wife and I got entrees off of their specials menu and were blown away by the quality and portion. As far as apps go, you can’t go wrong with the Korean fried chicken and the crab & shrimp pinwheels. Another favorite is the fried creek shrimp platter. I don’t know what they do to it but oh man, I dream about the next time we can get there so I can order more! Overall, Hot Fish is worth the wait or week long plan ahead for a table. I have yet to utilize their Gazebo so I can’t speak to that, but I am sure I would enjoy it knowing the product they produce. If you’re seated in the dining room, enjoy the view of the inlet from just about every table.

First visit but will definitely return. Enjoyed seats at the bar on a Monday evening. Bam Bam Shrimp appetizer, Sautéed Scallop Platter, Fried Flounder Platter, Key Lime Pie were delicious. Staff was great. Recommended and discussed many of the local crafters. Also an outside cabana area with live music.
Chris W — Google review
Fantastic food! We got several appetizers - the pears, pinwheels, calamari, okra... All phenomenal! I ordered a Hawaiian roll and nagiri- awesome! My friends got the crab legs, lobster Mac, grouper... All wonderful!
Brittany B — Google review
Relaxing restaurant with mellow local atmosphere and people. Jaime was our fantastic server and provide some great recommendations including the calamari which was different than most which created the most tender version I have ever had, so highly recommended. Hubby and o had wonderful food it my ribeye was a bit tough although cooked medium.
CCV N — Google review
GREAT food! Much more reasonably priced than other seafood restaurants in the area. My group had the blackened scallops, lobster pot pie, char-grilled cobia, and pan-seared red snapper. Every single dish was wonderful. We will definitely return if we're in the area. The parking lot is definitely bumpy with potholes, and it can be difficult to find a spot when the restaurant is full, which it often is.
Wenzhu S — Google review
Was crazy busy so it was hard for our server to stay on top of things though he really made up for it with his witty and fun personality. I had a huge group too, so try to keep that in perspective. Though we were here for over 2 hours. The drinks were good and based on server recommendation, I went with the lobster pot pie which was INCREDIBLE. I had several other items I had planned to get this not being one but he sold me on it and I dont not regret it one bit. I tried other dishes, like the grilled grouper, and cobia. Both were solid but something about the pot pie was just spot on. Had several desserts for the table, really enjoyed the peanut butter pie. Still thinking about it!
Michael D — Google review
Short wait but we got to walk around the exterior of the property where there’s playgrounds for the kids and crabs to catch near the shore on the back lot. Great atmosphere, great service, great views, but ok food! We had the Seafood Cioppino and Firecracker salmon. All the food was good, but most of the mussels and clams in the Cioppino was overcooked. The firecracker salmon was good. We spent $160 and the food was ok. We absolutely recommend giving it a try!

Wicked Tuna Grill, Sushi, Bar is a vibrant waterfront restaurant and bar that offers a diverse menu featuring creative seafood, sushi, and steaks in a relaxed and colorful setting. Situated at the Crazy Sister Marina on the south end of the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk, it provides an ideal spot to enjoy drinks while watching boats return from fishing trips.
My partner and I are on vacation and decided to venture away from myrtle beach and check this area out. Mind you it’s crazy since it’s bike week and so far today has been beautiful. Silly me paid $30 for parking out of confusion which isn’t the restaurants fault. The roof top outside dining was beautiful. Our server was so sweet and I wish I remembered her name. Our bloody Mary’s were so tasty. We got the dragon egg appetizer and omg was it delicious! My boyfriend got some risotto special with the catch of the day and I got the crab cake sandwich. They both were so tasty! We wish we would’ve found this place sooner vs on our last day vacationing. We will be coming back next time we’re in the area. Thank you for such a lovely dining experience. We unfortunately have had a lot of bad luck so far on our trip and yall made that up be being kind and providing great service with wonderful food and drinks!
Amanda C — Google review
Absolutely phenomenal experience! The valet parking employees were quite courteous, and our waitress named Chloe was so nice and well-informed about the dishes. Speaking of, I ordered the Wicked Tuna Roll, which was amazing! The price point was also decent for the area, and filling for sushi. Though we did not get dessert here, the evening options included strawberry shortcake, triple chocolate layer cake, and a Dulce De Leche cake. In other words, this restaurant is really good, and you should visit it!
Caleb B — Google review
Great location, great atmosphere, great service and spectacular food! Started with Shrimp Cocktail... large delicious shrimp! I had the special, which was fresh caught red snapper topped with shrimp, crab and scallops in a cream sauce with a balsamic drizzle, paired with pureed cauliflower and roasted veggies... wow! It was amazing! Husband had the ribeye with fried Mac & Cheese and veggies, delicious!! Also had a refreshing cocktail from the menu which was a blueberry basil lemonade. 100% would recommend! And we will return for sure:)

We came last year and my son hasnt stopped talking about it. So we returned this year again. Food was just as good. The atmosphere is awesome, views are great. Just an overall wonderful experience. My son got the lobster trio. I got a spicy margarita.

If you’re ever in the Murrells Inlet marsh walk area, you should definitely try Wicked Tuna! As a local, I have gone plenty of times with friends and family, and the food and atmosphere never disappoint. They offer fresh catch of the day, and their grilled salmon is my favorite. The last time I went with friends, we sat at the patio bar (lovely view) had two delicious espresso martinis, and we shared a dragon egg appetizer which was delicious! Highly recommend coming here for dinner and a nice view!
Allison V — Google review
Great place for food and drinks. Also to gather with friends plenty of space. The band was awesome last night called Shore Thing Myrtle Beach . Sushi was great, dragon egg, mozzarella sticks and pork gyoza. Had a blast, nice scenery right on the ocean.
Lisa R — Google review
Stopped in for the first time to celebrate a birthday and the first of all the view is absolutely beautiful and is everything you would expect a nice seafood place to be. The staff was friendly as soon as we walked in the door. Our server was so professional and told us all of the specials of the day and was very attentive without being overboard in interruptions. We both had apps to start. He got the California Rolls and I got the Wicked Shrimp. Perfect, fresh and the tempura made shrimp is phenomenal. For our drinks he had a simple Tito’s and soda mixed favorable and I had the caramel apple martini. Perfect mix of sweet and apple. For dinner he had the steak medallions and asparagus with peppercorn sauce. He described the meat as cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I got the Surf & Turf burger. Made with angus sirloin and crab cake with a special sauce, fresh veges and served with fries I found this burger cooked perfect temp that I requested juicy but not messy and so delicious. It was so big I had half to take home for later. The pricing was fair considering the service and items we enjoyed. We were too full for dessert but definitely will visit again in the future.
Kim C — Google review
My waiter, the view, the food 👌 everything was excellent. I ordered the crab stuffed shrimp, a side Caesar salad (the dressing was house made, I believe), a side of the fried mac and cheese, and creme brulée cheesecake for dessert. All the food was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The service and my waiter were on point, and overall the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. The food and service, along with the nice view, was definitely worth it and I'll be back.

After your meal, you can transition to the lively tiki hut next door, where live music fills the air every night, creating an enjoyable ambiance for all visitors.
Excellently prepared fresh and well flavored food. We were seated in 10 minutes rather than 45 minutes as initially told for a party of 10 during dinner hours. Our sweet waitress Victoria provided us attentive service throughout our meal. We also had perfect lemon drop shots made with real lemon! We will definitely visit again when we are in town, thank you for an excellent experience.

Excellent food, service with unbeatable view to the marsh water. Server was prompt, polite and attentive. Got here for lunch and were seated right away ( Monday week prior to 4th of July ) Oysters PO boy was great and blackened flounder was tasty. The fries were delicious Nice background music and overall decent price in lunch menu items

Absolutely amazing! The fish was cooked perfectly and was delicious! Definitely 1 of the best flounders , if not the best ive ever had and the portions are huge! The restaurant has an amazing view of the waterway and just has a cozy feel. Really enjoyed our visit here and will definitely be back in the future.

-Retirement home seafood. -Pricey because of the view -Extremely limited lunch menu. -Excellent service by Beau and the manager (?) So maybe a great place for drinks which we didn't try. PARKING: Plenty of space at lunch. No space by 5 p.m.

Overall, a pretty good meal. The highlight was the crab dip appetizer. The she crab soup is excellent. I wish they would offer it in a cup. Unfortunately, they only offered in a bowl for $15 which is a little bit ridiculous for any soup. My daughter got the shrimp Poboy it's enough for two people for sure. Crabcake sandwich is kind of a bit overpriced. The bourbon fish over potatoes is probably the overall best item that we ordered. It was expensive but plenty for two people. Spot on flavor and well done. Overall, really know true disappointments. Just get ready to spend over $100 if you come here for lunch for five people. All good.
Ray D — Google review
Fun, fun, fun area of town with a fabulous board walk along the water. Outside open air with live music and inside seating with beautiful views. BEAUTIFUL. Each side has their own wait list. No call ahead. Our meals: Edemame: 10/10 - large portion! Shrimp and grits: 5/10 - shrimp were cooked perfectly and nice size, nice sausage, good flavor, I'm not used to orange color grits though. And, WAY too much sauce. It's a very wet dish. It's not how I like grits. Crab Cake Dinner: 5/10 - disappointing. To much breading in the recipe. French fries: FAB! Steak fry style, crunchy and soft in the center. Yum! Grits: great flavor, but were orange, too dry and are course ground. So, that means a little lumpy. Wedge Salad: 8/10 - nice cold, healthy and green lettuce. Fresh tomatoes and nice chunky blue cheese. Delish! Beautiful presentation. Sautéed spinach - cooked perfectly and nice texture with nice baby spinach. Good portion. Too much garlic. You have to really love garlic to enjoy this dish. Wait Staff - Kaitlyn was wonderful and honest about bar wait. She was kind enough to recommended we order a second drink when 1/2 through our first. I appreciate honesty over disappointment. Good job Kaitlyn.

We visited this place twice during our 5-day vacation, and it did not disappoint! The food was excellent — our favorites were the Firecracker Shrimps and the local must-try dish, Shrimps and Grits. The fish was very fresh and perfectly cooked, and all the sides tasted just like homemade. The view of the creek is stunning, and the interior design is charming overall. We truly enjoyed our experience and would definitely recommend it!

Love love love this place. My son and I stop here every time we visit the area. Great location right on the water. Sometimes, I stop for a beer at the outside bar or sit down and have dinner inside. You can dock your boat and walk right up. We always have great service, and i love everything that i have tried here. The food is delicious, and the bartender makes the drinks well. It always looks clean. The decor is wonderful and I love the atmosphere. Great spot to take friends. Thank you so much we will come back soon. Parking is paid and reimbursed in the restaurant. Looks like a great spot for events as well.

Our family went here for lunch. These lady that was our waitress was very polite. My wife and I got the fish taco's. They were amazing. The fried version was exactly what you would expect, the boom boom sauce was fantastic and just right! The blackened versiin was 🔥!!! It wakes your taste buds up with a nice smack of spice with some amazing flavor from the fish. Our son ordered the kids pizza, which he loved. Our daughter got the fish nuggets and couldn't eat them fast enough. The sweet potato fries are AWESOME!! We will definitely be making Creek Ratz a staple stop when we visit the area again!!

Overall, I had a really pleasant experience at this establishment. The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was great! However, I did have one issue that I feel is worth mentioning. Our server, Addie, while seemingly a nice person, came across as a bit rude during our service. Simple courtesies, like acknowledging our 'thank yous,' were missed, which detracted slightly from the overall experience. I believe with a little more attention to customer service manners I would have a great experience.

What a great little spot on the inlet. The hush puppies are fabulous, great cocktails and a fun atmosphere! A wonderful low-key spot to have lunch dinner or enjoy the Inlet in the evening. This is not a fast food restaurant, it’s a place to come and relax and enjoy the experience. Fabulous service!

Calamari was bland, no seasoning. Grilled flounder didn't taste grilled at all however it wasn't bad. The grilled shrimp were great but the fried oysters were way over cooked. Overall the food was just "okay" but our waitress was great.

We had a great time! The atmosphere and food were awesome and our service was even better. Kenzie was very fun and helpful and made the experience that much better. One of the best servers I’ve ever had. Highly recommended. If you’re in the area, it is a must stop!

Oysters were muddy and had a bug in it. The server was supposedly “unable” to take the oysters off or even void a transaction in order to not charge me for the oysters that I did not eat due to the fact that they were disgusting. I also then had to still go get dinner and pay for that since I could not eat the food here. I called to speak to a manager and they were too busy to speak to me. As a server myself, I give leeway with this kind of stuff, but I will never be coming back here knowing that she could have voided the transaction because that is a very simple thing to do. I have never been anything but disappointed with this place and will absolutely tell people to steer clear of it.

Crab house
Inlet Crab House & Raw Bar is a cozy and colorful spot known for its Caribbean and Southern seafood. The restaurant, a local favorite since 1992, offers a laid-back atmosphere in a tiny pink-roofed house on the north end. The menu features dishes like clams casino with bacon and paprika, blackened grouper, and perfectly fried softshell crab. Owned by fishing boat captain Jimmy Mayes, the restaurant focuses on serving fresh seafood caught straight from the inlet.
Inlet Crab House & Raw Bar has great food and good service to match. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and made our dining experience enjoyable. The She Crab Soup, Crab Cake Balls, and Grouper Basket were all fresh, yummy, and delicious. Would definitely eat here again and I recommend others try it out 🦀

Food was phenomenal. Very clean. The service was fast and amazing. Our server Lora great she was very friendly and efficient. The fish, chicken, spinach dip, coleslaw and everything else was fresh and made in house and you could tell in the quality when you had the first bite. For such a little place, it has to be one of the greatest places we have come across in our travels. A good thing to mention is that they serve a catch of the day, which is fresh and not frozen! A good variety of options. You will not regret stopping for lunch or dinner. Support local businesses, specially ones that serve fresh and quality food.

Black tie affair me not. Best seafood on the creek. I'll dare say the best bartender on the creek as well. Never been disappointed. Steaks are good, steam pots are great, best fry cooks in the business. Bartender keeps me laughing, bottomless beers or oyster shooters. I feel like I'm home when we visit. There's a reason they've been here so long.

Visit this restaurant very frequently when visiting my in-laws, especially for the soft shell crab dinner. Always great food and service. Just got back from dinner and double checked my receipt. I know that most of the restaurants here in SC charge you more if using credit card, or give you a discount if paying cash. However, either way, the Sub total should add up to what you ordered. I know this is less than $3, but, if they do this for every check, they are making some pretty good extra money. I looked for an email address to contact them in writing, but no email address. Tried Facebook to message them, but last post was 2014. How does this add up: 3.00 4.75 8.00 7.00 9.00 28.00 16.00 78.40 Sub-Total I keep getting 75.75, both in my head and on a calculator. Will try to stop back there before I leave to head home, and will gladly change my # of stars, but double check your bills after enjoying their food! Hopefully this is just a system glitch, but when the numbers don't add up at closing, some kind of red flag should come up in the system.

The "one with the glass parking lot" holy scallops!! Delicious, flavorful. Small inside. They fill up fast. Service was great too.

We had extended family for a group of 14, so we called ahead. They had a place ready for us and it was set up well. The food, however, was very mixed. Some of it was excellent! (Bacon-wrapped shrimp appetizer in particular!) Some of it was on par with what you'd get in a Midwest seafood place (aka, wasn't particularly fresh or exciting.) Ironically, a couple of the kids got chicken fingers and they were excellent! So they don't skimp on the kids menu. The atmosphere was nice, very small restaurant-ish. The servers were nice, but I think the poor gal who served us could have used some more help. The bathroom was clean and spacious enough to take the kids and not be cramped while helping. Great for our large group, though I would highly recommend calling ahead for any group larger than 4-6. Nice little restaurant, with good service, but just wish the seafood met my expectations for a place by the ocean.

Visiting the area and the restaurant was recommended by locals. Those are usually the best recommendations. Since I was by myself, I sat at the bar instead of taking up a table. Ordered the soup and 1/2 sandwich. A cup of She Crab soup with Crab salad, along with a small side of their Cole slaw, served with crackers. This was my first time having the soup. It was absolutely delicious! I could have just had the soup for my meal. The Crab salad was very good. This was very different for me. Their Cole slaw was one of the best I have ever tried. My server was very attentive and made great suggestions. Would love to return when I'm back in the area.

The Claw House is a lively lobster house and raw bar located in Murrells Inlet, SC. Situated along the Murrells Inlet Boardwalk, it offers stunning water views and a large deck for guests to enjoy. The restaurant is known for serving fresh, local seafood including lobster, oysters, and shrimp cocktails.
Went for the first time to enjoy their happy hour appetizers and drinks. We had the mini crab balls, fried calamari and fried cod bites, a few oysters and some fries. We definitely were not disappointed. Everything was delicious, service was great, atmosphere m, prices were amazing and the view perfect. Best raw oysters I’ve had in a long time. Portions for happy hour appetizers were huge. We took food home. I’m only sad we haven’t come here before since we only live 5 minutes away. My wife and I do a date night once a week, at least. This will be our new go to place. Thank you.

It was an awful experience. They have 3 different charges they add to the bill and then include them in the recommended tipping % as well. So you are tipping on tax, tipping on county fee and tipping on the “destination fee”. The food was not good. This was the worst mussels we have had. The broth was bland to a point it was basically water. Everything on the skewers were overcooked, especially the steak. Was chewy and dry. The crab sandwich was dry too. The chowder bowl was the best thing but still not that good. Would not recommend the food and would also not recommend coming here due to all the charges.

This seafood restaurant is pretty great, but the reason that it got a 4 is because some of the food isn’t the best, but most of the food is amazing though. First the parking looks very small, but if you happen to read the sign in the parking lot, you actually park for free across the street next to the neighbor restaurant. Inside the place is nice, huge aquarium with many numerous fish and sea life. And the food is mainly good, the appetizers aren’t great, but the food really shines in the main courses. We had a fish with some spices in it, which was pretty good, also had the crab cakes which was amazing, fish and chips, and a steak which was kinda bland. Overall this is a great restaurant, most of the food is amazing, some of it, is kinda ehhh, but definitely worth going here regardless.

Definitely sit outside. Beautiful coastal breeze comes straight off the water. Food was FANTASTIC! We did the all you can eat Crab Legs on a Monday. So worth the money! The staff were all very friendly and the view and atmosphere is great!

Very nice place to go eat if you are in the area visiting! We went around 4pm and were immediately sat down and did not have to wait very long on food for a table of 6! Our waitress was very nice and did a good job! Food was very good and nobody had any complaints. I personally got the Redfish and grits which was top notch, some of the best grits I've ate. They have a very large fish tank in the lobby filled with all sorts of saltwater fish for people of all ages to enjoy! Average price of seafood was $25-30 with sandwiches and other options around $16-20

Great spot for lunch when visiting the marsh walk. Our server, Ethan, was absolutely wonderful! He made our son feel like he'd made a new best friend! The food and atmosphere were also fantastic. We ordered lobster rolls and fish & chips....some of the best we've ever had.

Been coming here for a few years now and it's still one of my favorites among the marsh walk. We got the chefs special (lobster ravioli and steak) and a crab cake sandwiche. Everything tasted great. The chefs special was a little smaller portioned than expected. But still it looked amazing and tasted so good.

We’ve been coming to the inlet for 8 years on vacation, this is the first trip we have tried Bovines The drinks were spot on ! In a deep Eddys lemon vodka gal and was so happy they had it ! I ordered the short ribs on risotto and it was FANFLIPPINtastic! My hubby ordered the shrimp n grits , we were let down with those as they were a bit on the bland side. We will definitely be back , service was great , beautiful view and I enjoyed my dish! Happy wife - happy life (haha)

This place has gluten free pizza making it one of the only places I can eat at the inlet. And it is really good. So, right off the bat, 5 stars. On top of that the bartenders are really nice and efficient. The place has a good vibe- it's bright and open inside - and everything runs smoothly. Great place to go for dinner and a drink.

Great outdoor atmosphere. My steak was charred beautifully and cooked perfectly. My wife's tomahawk pork chop was tender & tasty. Our waitress was Fran Dreschler incarnate. A great spot to take a stroll on the boardwalk that's a highlight of Murrell's Inlet. Overall, a vacation highlight. Parking will be difficult at a cost of $10+. Bovine's will give you a $5 credit but remind your server BEFORE you pay your bill.

As a new comer to SC I was invited to this amazing restaurant for a birthday party and I cant say anything less then the food was amazing! I had the saute shrimp alfredo and a piece of there incredible chocolate peanut butter pie. Hands down a great place to dine.

Went here for my birthday dinner. Walked in and seated quickly with a view of the water. Our sever provided good service. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza which was just okay, I wouldn’t order it again because the pizza crust wasn’t great. The BBQ chicken quarters and sautéed veggies that my husband ordered was good but my daughter didn’t like her cheese pizza. The brownie dessert was also good. We drove from Myrtle Beach to dine here but I probably won’t return.

We were seated outside and it was a lovely evening. The waitress was knowledgeable about specials and menu. She was bringing out everything very timely. we had appetizers as well. I’m not used to restaurants/servers having food prepared so great and still hot off grill!! Our table never lacked food. It has a nice atmosphere and I like that it’s like climbing to a “Treehouse” . That’s my impression when I first saw Russell’s. I highly recommend Russell’s Seafood Grill” to enjoy a great meal out. Also, as most restaurants are doing, there is a 4% fee to use Charge cards - I recommend paying cash.

We visited the location because it was suggested to us. At first site I didn't think it would work because I am a disabled Veteran in a scooter. But they have a great ramp and the tables are arranged perfectly. They have a beautiful view from the dining area and the staff were just great. The food is cooked to order and very reasonably priced. I had the fried oyster basket and my wife had the grilled chicken tenders. The area around there is very picturesque and I encourage you to take a walk on the Marsh Walk after dinner. I highly recommend this location.

Fantastic restaurant!! The daily fresh seafood was the best of any place in Murrells Inlet!!! I have tried them all and this was my favorite!!! I got a fried & grilled combo platter with fresh flounder and shrimp/cheese grits and green beans. Absolutely perfect dish!!!! The staff was friendly and attentive!!! You must try this place. We loved it so much that we have decided to go back next weekend. A must eat while on your family vacation at the beach!!!! By the way, tarter and cocktail sauce was homemade!!! Fabulous place!!! You can always get it to go too!!!

Always an amazing dinner experience. Tonight we had the best service we’ve had in a long time and the food was fresh and seasoning and cook temps were perfect. We always call ahead and make reservations to get triggerfish and they always come through. Highly recommend this spot tucked deeper into Murrells Inlet past those other guys.

Happy hour margaritas are large for the price! Their complimentary hush puppies are the best I’ve ever had. The “Whole Dang Pot” is phenomenal. So much food. Definitely enough to share between 2-4 people depending how hungry you are. Only complaint is the flies when sitting outdoors in June/July.

Our first time at Russell's and we were not disappointed. Old time seafood restaurant feel and smell is what I first noticed. I had the Sea Scallop basket grilled and the taste was fantastic(ate a couple before the pic)...add on a house salad with ranch and awesome green beans, so tasty. My wife and granddaughter had the creek shrimp basket with fries that were delicious...thick cut fries better than the shoestring and slaw was just great too. Topped it off with the best key lime pie we have ever had. Last our server Kennedy was the best, great personality and just a genuinely nice person. 7-27-25: return visit and the food may have been better than last year. Fish and chips was great, very light breading on cod and the hand cut fries. Granddaughter had the same shrimp basket as last year and my wife had blackened shrimp basket with fries. Shrimp tasted fresh and were decent sized. We sat outside (outside the plastic curtains) and even at 90 degrees we were comfortable with the shade and breeze. The service however was not the best, Richard left us waiting for our 2nd beer at least 15 minutes, a no show quite often.....then forgot our tarter and cocktail sauce and had to be reminded mm. The key lime pie for dessert tasted kinda store bought.

So what an amazing experience, food, service, and atmosphere. I had the Veal Scarpariello and my hubby had the Veal Saltimbocca. The bread was amazing as well as olive oil with lots of herbs, and the stuffed blistered banana peppers with sausage were amazing. The service by Molly and Lexi were fantastic. The salads were fresh, the portion is large.

Very cute place from the outside and didn't disappoint on the inside. It was very nice sitting in a small alcove. Made dinner feel a little more personal. The table sat next to us was very loud so that did take away for the experience, but that is not something that the restaurant is responsible for. The food was amazing perfectly seasoned and very tasty!

Oh WOW… the FLAVORS in the Shrimp Olivia! As an Italian foodie, I’ve never tasted anything as delicious as this shrimp dish. The shrimp was SO tender and the flavors of the sauce are still rattling on my tongue. I can’t get it out of my mind; I’ll have to go back for more! Thanks to our waiter Scoop for recommending I turn this appetizer into an entree over linguine!! Great food, great wine AND great service!!

We went to Costa for dinner last night. This place was a favorite, I’ve been many times. There were 6 of us. As we were eating, one of us bit into a screw. Management’s response….”I’m so sorry. That must have come from the fan. Let me go check and see where it came from. Would you like a free dessert? It won’t have a screw in it.” She then took the meal off the check. That was it. Didn’t check back (or let us know it was coming off the bill) in with us or offer anything else. Our sweet waiter offered us a shot. He felt terrible. The manager did offer to take our photo though as we were leaving. We left with mostly full plates on the table.

We had the most wonderful meal at Costa last night! Francheska was our waitress and did a wonderful job! Our friends shared Shrimp Diane for an appetizer….it was incredible! I could have eaten that all night! My husband had veal Saltimbocca and I had chicken saltimbocca…..best I ever had in an Italian restaurant. Their sauce is amazing. I really appreciated the fact that my meal was on a bed of spinach. My Caesar salad was perfect, great dressing. All four of us enjoyed our meals. I’d give this restaurant a 10 star review….excellent! I can’t wait to go back to this restaurant!

C'mon... This isn't fair to the other restaurants in town... The food here is so good! My parents used to bring me here to eat when we were vacationing, while I was still in a highchair (and I'm about to turn 65). So here I am, editing my previous 5-star review (because they don't list six stars). The grilled platter (flounder, crab cake, and fan-tailed shrimp) is now my favorite. Don't ever, ever skip the she-crab soup. Best side dish: all of them, but the pimento-cheese grits is a real winner.

Apparently it’s an icon around these parts so we had to try it. Staff was very friendly. Food was excellent but those hush puppies were small and a little disappointing.

Just a wonderful meal. Tourists probably wouldn't notice and drive by, but the food and service is phenomenal. Been in business over 70 years. I had the chicken, tender, over wild rice and I got the mushroom sauce as well. We come to the beach here multiple times a year, and I can promise you I will eat here every time going forward. Found my new favorite place!
Aj V — Google review
Everything was fine, except for the food. The server was nice. The fried shrimp were so tough they were inedible. And why were they butterflied? The shrimp and grits contained three shrimp and wasn't very good. The hush puppies practically turned to dust in my hand and were unpleasant. The iced tea didn't taste homemade. Why does this restaurant get such good reviews? It's a mystery.

My husband and I went and there was no wait at 6 PM so that was a plus! We got the house salad and although small it was delicious. We also LOVED those crunchy fresh hush puppies and sweet butter! I got the shrimp and grits and it was very good. I only had one piece of sausage and it was so good I wish I had more in my plate! My husband got the creek shrimp and unfortunately it didn’t make the cut. Very flavorless and he added salt but still lacked flavor with the creek shrimp but the portion sizes on both were huge! Best baked potato I’ve had in a while! Would return!

Local burger, subs and salads eatery that fills your belly without emptying your wallet. Quick stop for Sunday lunch got me enjoying the two Carolina dogs loaded with chili, slaw and onions with a side of fries for just over $5.00. Neither the chili nor the slaw was overbearing, as one could still enjoy and taste the toasted bun and the firm skinned hotdog. The fries were a thicker style that were hot. My wife’s turkey, bacon wrap with a side of pasta salad was also reasonably price and made with a good amount of deli turkey, crisp bacon, lettuce and ranch. Limited seating inside and the overall feel of the place is that a little TLC would go a long way. Rusty vents, water stained and taped ceiling tiles and patched walls in need of a new coat of paint. Don’t let the looks detour you but enjoy the food for what you came for.

There's not much to this little place on the inside but the food is amazing. Every one loved their food. I got the turkey bacon wrap and fries. My hubs got the roast beef and cheddar melt. My oldest daughter had the Italian which was strange cause she only ever orders turkey and cheese and my youngest had the chicken tenders. My wrap came out stuffed with meat and looked boring but it was so juicy and delicious! The flour tortilla was soft with the perfwct texture. My oldest daughter finished her sub quite fast and she disnt say a word. She said it was the beat sub she's ever had. My little didnt make a stink but she had chicken tenders and thats a norm for her. My hubs said hus sandwhich came out and it looked underwhelming and small but he said it was an amazing sandwich and it was just enough to fill him without over eating. We all had fries and some onion rings. The fries were alright but the onion rings were terrific. They were the best onion rings I have ever had. I hate when you bite into an onion ring and the onion comes straight out and the batter is oily and tastes like a deep fryer. These were light and the onion was sweet and had a nice crunch Still. I love their sweet tea. We also got the frie d twinkie and oreos. Holy goodness! The staff were all so friendly and nice. My daughter dropped her fries and before a tear could drop they replaced them. Not one bad look or reaction from any of them. I wish we had one of these where I live. Prices were also reasonable. Private bathroom. Wheelchair accessible and you can even pick up a suvineer shirt. Give it a try. Hopefully you'll like it as much as we did.

My husband enjoyed his delicious homestyle burger, and I enjoyed the chicken philly sandwich with tasty grilled onions and peppers on a soft, warm, dark sweet wheat sub roll. The fries were lightly fried, as we requested. We treated ourselves to fried nutter butter cookies. So tasty! They also serve fried oreos and twinkies!

Every time we come here we have a fantastic meal. The owner is almost always in the store and cooking. The staff is always friendly and fast. You can tell they like working together and the team supports the owner. I am always happy to spend money here and support good local business. 10/10 burgers and we love the desserts too! Neptune Bistro & Raw Bar, formerly known as Mojo's, is a newcomer to the MarshWalk area. It offers an extensive raw bar and a diverse menu with a Mediterranean influence. The restaurant overlooks Crazy Sister Marina and the Murrells Inlet boat launch, providing beautiful outdoor and indoor dining spaces. Guests can enjoy fresh oysters, flatbreads for sharing, unique sandwiches, Southern favorites like blue crab grilled cheese with tomato bisque, and craft cocktails.
Food was great but the atmosphere and service were even better! Kayla was our server and she was phenomenal. So kind and made sure we had everything we needed. She was so sweet to our little ones. The DJ was playing great music. The pirate ship playground was a hit with our little ones along with the music and Kayla!

Great location right at the end of the marsh walk, but the service was all over the place. I’m not convinced the waiter was trained fully. Took forever to get anything, they forgot one of the dishes, and simple things like extra napkins or basic things like a crab cracker took a long time to arrive at the table. Shrimp tacos came with 1 shrimp in each! Crab pot was actually good. Really chock-full of crab and shrimp, and would want to be at almost $40. Not going back.

The views are gorgeous! Had a nice breeze off the water, sitting on the back porch, watching the kids play on the pirate ship playground! Shrimp pasta with sausage was amazing! Kids loved the pizza, tacos and chicken tenders! The waitress was very nice and checked in a lot. The cutlery and place settings are very pretty. The margaritas were very good too! Will definitely come back!

Before our trip, I had somehow found about Neptune Bistro & Raw Bar. I made reservations for happy hour on Friday to ensure we had a spot. Dad had Lemonade, Hubby had the Blueberry Mojito, and I had the Watermelon Mojito. We got the East Coast oysters (Mama Mia and Blue Point) at half off during happy hour and tried the Fish Ceviche. So fresh and sooo good! We shared the Cobb Salad and Fried Fish Sandwich. The fresh catch of the day is Mahi Mahi and it was cooked to perfection. I’m not really sure why this place had bad reviews. We had an excellent experience. I highly encourage visiting early. The parking lot was full by the time we left. This restaurant is at the one end of the Murrells Inlet boardwalk and a great place to walk and see the area.

We had so much fun for Sunday brunch! Our server Ben was the best and had a great personality and delivered amazing service! The presentation of the food was so pretty and well thought out they didn’t miss any details. The food and drinks were delicious we will definitely be back!

WOW! I can't say enough great things about this place. We came for lunch. The atmosphere feels more refined than the other local restaurants. We were seated outside under the covered patio which has a great view of the bay. I ordered the mushroom salad with no additional proteins and my wife ordered the margarita flat bread. Salad was amazing and very satisfying. The flatbread was one of the best pizzas I've seen outside of NY. I also want to give praise to our server Suzy. She was there for us even before we knew we needed her. The bar and cocktails are also a level up. This is a must for all foodies looking for a great new place. I will be back again and again until I try the whole menu. Here's an update. The place still has issues from reservations to servers or kitchen staff, if you listen to the whiny waiter. The selection is great but getting the starter course and the entrees at the same time diminishes the quality. I wish them luck but I won't be itching to go there anymore.

I am not usually writing Rey, but What a great place! I just had to… Amazing unique flavor in every dish! We ordered a variety of items and each was better than the other! Great quality, good atmosphere and awesome view. Service was wonderful. Really, I can go on and on about how great everything was, highly recommended.

I haven’t been there in forever. The outside seating area is absolutely great on sunny days. The service was more than excellent. Our waitress made a coffee especially for us, even though they don’t have coffee on the menu. We had the lobster risotto and the fish and chips. The risotto was super creamy and delicious! The fish and chips was good as well. I recommend this restaurant if you wanna hangout with a view of the Marshwalk and enjoy delicious food.

Graham's Landing is a family-friendly spot located in Murrells Inlet, just outside of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It offers a casual dining experience with a menu featuring seafood, burgers, and pasta. The restaurant provides stunning views of Murrell's Inlet and Huntington Beach State Park at no extra charge. Visitors can enjoy dishes such as fried green tomato BLT, shrimp and grits, and smoked prime rib - all made from scratch.
We ordered 2 shrimp baskets, a shrimp boil, fried pickles and fried tomatoes. Everything was good and served hot. Service was a tad slow but they were super friendly so the slowness didn’t bother any of us. We went around 1:30 and we were seated right away. Would definitely go back. Not sure if reservations are needed for prime dining time. Cute atmosphere too.

This place was so amazingly good and I'm not even a seafood person so that should tell you something! And if you're not a seafood person like me, I highly recommend the Fried Green Tomato BLT. It was so yummy. The hubby had scallops, oysters and some buffalo shrimp which he enjoyed his as well. We will definitely be back! Also that pimento cheese is the best I've ever had. They could literally set up a shop to sell just that. There's also outdoor seating with some decent views. This pic is from the parking in the back.

9/22/25: “Croton-on-Hudson Rob” was the ideal server for bringing the friendly, laidback beach vibe along with our seafood baskets. We ordered the flounder basket (with zesty cocktail sauce) and scallops basket (with melted butter). We both loved their generous portion of crispy tater tots. The coleslaw was more vinegary than sweet (not my favorite). We enjoyed our meals on the back patio at low tide with a refreshing breeze. Lots of white egrets dotting the marsh. Good old easy-listening rock was our background music while we enjoyed our delicious first visit to Graham’s Landing. Ciao Roberto!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Laura & Marco Van (Cortlandt) Valkenburg, The Bluffs on the Waterway, Carolina Forest.

Our recent visit on June 3, 2025 was unfortunately marred by a noticeably inattentive service experienced. Despite the dining room having many empty tables on a Tuesday night, service was slow. It took about 10 minutes just to get water, and while a few associates acknowledged us in passing, they only said, “We’ll be with you,” without following through. The oysters were good, but when we requested horseradish, we were given a sauce with a mayo-like consistency that didn’t taste like true horseradish—more bland than bold, and not what we expected to pair with oysters. The She-Crab soup was rich and flavorful, with generous lumps of tender crab. The shrimp and grits had solid flavor, but the grits had an odd texture, more like rice than the creamy, smooth consistency the dish typically calls for. We also tried the coconut mango mojitos, which were underwhelming. They tasted mostly like club soda with a hint of basil—none of the bright, tropical flavors you'd expect. It felt more like a bland bar drink than something crafted with care. After we finished eating, it took 15 minutes just to get the check, and then an additional 20 minutes for our server to pick up and run the card—with an apology and an excuse for the delay. Overall, the lack of engagement from our server made it difficult to fully enjoy the evening. We will not be returning.

We had the fried mushrooms, grit cake, mozzarella bites, ahi tuna and the fried green tomatoes. All of them were fried perfectly and so delicious!! For dinner we had the combo fried flounder and scallops, Alfredo and chicken, cheese steak with pimento cheese, seafood combo platter, clams, and a flounder po boy. Hands down all perfectly seasoned and cooked! The breading is light on all the fried foods, and not bland, excellent! Service was knowledgeable and very pleasant! The views are spectacular!! This was a wonderful dinner!!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. It was a 20 minutes drive. Worth every second. Our server, Jacob was one of the best servers I've ever had. We had crab stuffed flounder with Alfredo sauce. It was absolutely phenomenal. My wife had the scallops and shrimp basket. It was fantastic. As I'm literally sitting at the table in the middle of this review, Jacob brought over a bourbon pecan pound cake made by the owner's mother. This maybe the single greatest dining experience I've ever had. I would drive 4 hours to eat here again.

Uncle Mikey's Pizza is a beloved neighborhood parlor in Murrells Inlet, offering classic Italian dishes like brick oven pizzas and hearty pasta using traditional family recipes perfected over five decades. The menu includes fan favorites like Uncle Mike's Special, along with Italian Cannoli and Key Lime Pie for dessert. With a variety of options including salads, sandwiches, and Italian entrees, it's a great spot for families or anyone craving comfort food.
Enjoyed delicious lunch and dessert for lunch at Uncle Mikey’s. There are a variety of options, including salads, sandwiches, Italian entrees and pizza, all of which could be paired with a nice selection of wines available. It is an older establishment with plenty of seating indoors and outdoors and there is ample parking outside. Garden salad was delicious and enough to share for two. Margarita pizza was very fresh with just the right amount of crunch in the thin crust. Everything was made as we ordered, but the wait was not long. Sammy regularly checked in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything or to share the details of the yummy dessert he whipped up with sweet cheese, honey and rose water. We had to try given the high bar set by Sammy and it did not disappoint! We would definitely come back!

Uncle Mikey’s Pizza located in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina is a GREAT place to eat. The food is amazing. We ordered the Uncle Mikey’s special pizza and we absolutely loved it. There is free parking in front of the restaurant and there is additional parking on the side. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food that you receive. We highly recommend this restaurant. We can’t wait to return.

We got recommended to this restaurant on Mother’s Day, and we had no regrets! My youngest has autism and ADHD, and had a lot of energy. He jumped up to hug the owner and he said to the owner, “I’m Kaden and I have Autism!” And the owner made me cry when he hugged him back and responded saying, “I’m so proud of you!” 🥹😭No one has ever given my son so much respect and love like that before, besides his own family❤️I can never thank the owner enough for making us feel so welcomed and special! The food was DELICIOUS and when we go back to surf side beach, we’ll be stopping by again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

Terrific pizza! Ultra-crispy crust and an enormous amount of cheese with quality toppings. Even the soda was bubbly and fresh tasting. Some reviewers are critical of the appearance of the interior. Indeed, the place could use a bath and some updating, but all that is forgiven and becomes invisible when the product is superior, which is the case here!

I have NO words for how amazing my food was from here tonight. Mikey was amazing, our pizza had the best flavor I’ve ever had, he suggested the BEST wine to go with it. He threw in all of the little things that made this place feel like I was sitting at the dinner table at home. He welcomed us like family. The desert was phenomenal also. If you want to dine somewhere where they make you feel like the only customer in the building, you should go here. Fresh, hot, & incredible flavors. It’s the best meal I’ve had here in the Murrels Inlet area thus far. You won’t regret a visit here! Mikey values God, family and hard work, and boy does it show in his restaurant!

Decent food but minor changes could bring it up. The dressing for the antipasto salad was just oil and vinegar, where were the seasonings? The garlic bread was a mini pizza and was very good. We were told the meatballs were made fresh that morning and were good but how about asking if we want anything else on the grinder? The bread for the grinders were very good. The eggplant grinder could have had a few more onions and peppers. Very nice people.

Second time eating here. Our waiter Alfredo was excellent with recommendations and overall service. Very nice clean and modern atmosphere. Wonderful Margaritas at Happy Hour and the food was a bit more upscale than most Mexican restaurants. Excellent Fajitas and Quesadillas. Alfredo made this a very pleasurable evening. He was on top of things without being intrusive. Absolutely give this restaurant a try.

I’ve been here a couple of times and this time it was just a reminder as to why I keep coming back! Food, atmosphere, and service is impeccable! I had the enchiladas suizas with chicken and tomatillo salsa! Delectable! Pollo con mole, pollo quesadilla with a pineapple mango salsa. We finished our meal with a tasty Tres leches cake! To die for! My family and I were overwhelmed! We will continue to support this establishment.

WOW! Best Mexican food we’ve ever had! I ordered my old standby, Chimichanga but there was nothing ordinary about it. Beautifully wrapped tortilla with moist flavor-filled chicken with salsa salad and cheese sauce. The beans and rice were served separately with cheese sprinkled on top. My wife got the Pozole. Again, she said it was the best she’s had. Lots of flavor with tender pork and vegetables. Everything was so good, we had to try the Pastel De Chocolate. Hot and amazing! The service was exceptional and the atmosphere, beautiful. We’re coming back the next time we’re in the area.

Luna was amazing! We're visiting from Arizona and we like to think we know Mexican food. I'll admit that I didn't have high hopes coming in, but boy was I wrong! Unfortunately I can't remember our bartenders name (he's a British/Peruvian gentleman) but he was so attentive and great. We had the lunch fajitas and the enchiladas suizas. And margaritas, of course. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. The green salsa was a highlight for me. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

First experience was take-out fajitas combo beef and chicken. Sadly disappointed. Both meats were tough. Couldn't cut beef with a fork no matter how much effort. Seasoning was minimal. To-go order included a bag of tortilla chips BUT THERE WAS NO SALSA! Are you kidding me? It's hard to undo a first impression.

LUNA was SO good! We made a reservation and they had everything set up nicely for us, including a high chair. The host was kind, the server was amazing, and the other staff were friendly too! I ordered a chimichanga, which looked straight out of a magazine. The chicken was tender and spiced perfectly, I’m eager to try more there! It’s a bit pricy, but I think it’s worth a visit or two a year. The interior is decorated nicely, and it appears to be clean! This is probably my new favorite Mexican spot in Murrells!

Blue Elephant Thai Cuisine offers a refreshing change from the usual dining options in the area. The restaurant serves freshly prepared, light and delicious Thai food that is worth the leisurely pace of the meal. Guests can enjoy Thailand's signature Singha beer or a Thai iced tea with their meal. Chef Paul ensures that every dish is prepared with care and customers praise both the quality of the food and service. The atmosphere is inviting and beautifully decorated, making it a great spot for an annual tradition.
My son and daughter-in-law treated us to The Blue Elephant last night and all I can say is WOW! Best Thai food that I have ever eaten. I’ve read a lot of reviews complaining about the time, and not being able to get a seat when they see open seats. This establishment is ran by one man. He does everything, from seating you and getting your drinks, to cooking and preparing the food and all the while making sure your drinks are refilled. This is why it is by reservation only and why you see open seats. He is doing everything by himself and filling up a restaurant would not be feasible. I will say if you ever get the chance and make a reservation, do it!!
Christy M — Google review
Want to start off by saying the food was delicious. But the amount you got for the price tag doesn't match. It truly is a one man show, so be patient, because I promise you, the food is so worth the wait. That said, keep in mind that the restaurant doesn't take cards, so for a party of 4, plan to possibly need around $200 cash on hand. We weren't aware of the fact that he only takes cash or check, and the only sign he had in the whole restaurant was blocked on arrival by a couple of people waiting on their takeout orders. So when he gave us the check in an American Express packet with a card slot, we assumed that like any other restaurant, he would take the card. Immediately stated that they don't take cards. So we had to leave the other couple we were dining with to go find an ATM and have to pay a convenience fee. There were also some signs that he just doesn't want to pay for anything more than he has to (bowls were glued back together and used for serving food; tablecloths that hadn't been replaced when they had stains from years of use; no servers or anyone to help him, broken glass window at the front of the restaurant that was duct taped instead of replaced). Just to be as fair as we can, while the food was absolutely delicious, the overall experience left us put off from coming back.

The decor and everything else was absolutely beautiful! The food was amazing! Truly authentic Thai food! By reservation only. Very expensive but worth every penny!!!! Made to order by the chef and owner, Doc. He is a very sweet man and an amazing chef! A definite must visit if in Murrell's inlet! I had the Crispy Duck Pad Tai(I think). I got it Medium, very spicy! Got even more spicy after sitting in the fridge for a few days. More food than we could eat in one sitting!!! Warning Authentic spice level will beat even the most stout person! If you ask they will let you try the spice before you order so you can judge how spicy you want it. Ten times hotter than any 'authentic' Thai restaurant I have ever been to! But it's a sneaky heat so you get to taste all the flavor before the heat kills your taste buds lol. Warning the duck dishes are real duck so keep an eye out for bones! Doc is the only person in the kitchen so be patient!

As an appetizer, I wanted the Calamari but it was unavailable. So I opted for soft wontons stuffed w chicken and swimming in a delicious liquid. My wife had the fried veggie spring rolls tht had a vinegar peanut sauce. As an entree I had the highly recommended crispy duck. The sauce was out of this world fantastic with ginger and pineapple dominating. It included broccoli, mushroom, bamboo shoots and peas that were to perfection and served with white rice. I thought the duck was over cooked but I ate every morsel. My wife had Thai shrimp fried rice. It was nothing spectacular but good enough. The shrimp needed cooked a bit more. They were soft and rather flavorless. The chef was the waiter as well. This place accepts cash only and requires a reservation for dine in. There is Togo available with call in orders. With two beers and a green tea the bill was $95. There's a bit of a lack of attention to detail. Spots on the table cloth and a chipped water glass... Small dining area, only one employee/owner, no credit card acceptance. We were too full for desert. Ambiance was quiet. No music. Nice ornate woodwork. I'd dine here again.
David W — Google review
First suggestion, CALL and make reservations. DO NOT make reservations online. NO DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED. Payment is CASH OR CHECK. <-----------Read that again. Second suggestion, BE PATIENT! The food is phenomenal and it's worth the wait! Dr. Paul is the ONLY person preparing your meal. Once served, he will come to your table himself to make sure you are pleased with the dish. Third suggestion, view the menu online and advise your selection upon making yourreservation, so they know what you want. My initial choice was not available on the physical menu, and I was ok with that. This is the FIRST TIME I've had an Asian cuisine that did not upset my stomach. The spices and seasoning were PERFECT!!! The spring rolls were fresh and AMAZING! Thai tea was also delicious! I absolutely can NOT wait to dine here again and again! It is a hidden treasure of 25 years!

We had an unforgettable dining experience at Blue Elephant Thai Cuisine in Murrells Inlet, SC as always! ✨From the vibrant flavors to the beautiful presentation, this place will exceed all expectations. 😍 The pineapple fried rice with salty pork floss was a tasty revelation, elevating the dish to a whole new level of deliciousness. When I’m telling you that this dish is 100/10 highly recommend, I’m not exaggerating.🍍🐖 But that's not all! The green curry was bursting with flavor once I added a little bit of the salty pork floss. It needed salt but it’s not readily available on the table. 🌿🌶️ Some key notes/takeaways: -Reservation only -Cash only The owner is usually the only person running the show here so reservations are a must. No walk ins unfortunately. The food is a work of art and a culinary adventure for the taste buds for sure. 🖼️ The dishes can be spicy so please note if it says spicy on the menu it’s gonna be hot. 🌶️ 🥵 This isn’t the place where you want to go all out and order a spice level higher than two. My husband and I love spice and found out years ago this one tip can ruin your evening. 😂 With that being said it is a must try if you live or are visiting the Grand Strand. Don’t try to dine here if you are in a rush. Plan a nice date night and enjoy each others company. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving this gem a try. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you! 😋 #BlueElephantThaiCuisine #MurrellsInletSC #FoodieParadise #FlavorfulDelights #MyrtleBeachFoodieBabe #ThaiFood

I called in an order for Drunken Noodle to go. I've been here before, but it's been some time and I completely forgot that he does not take any form of payment except cash or check. Not venmo, not zelle, not cash app. I went to pick up my order and he said, cash or check only. There was only one family eating in the whole restaurant, and the man said, I could venmo him the money and he would pay my check, which was so nice of him. I got my food and I have to say it was excellent! Normally I ask for spicy, but I got medium this time, and it was just perfect. It was pretty spicy. The only complaint I have is that the portion size does not match the price.

Visitors can find favorite recipes and prepping tips on their website to kickstart their culinary adventure. Additionally, the market supplies oysters for events in the area and is known for its popular options like yellow-fin tuna and Carolina black grouper.
We bought a box of James River oysters that had come just the day prior to our purchase date. They were fresh and delicious. Also picked up some grouper. It was top quality. Great selection of fresh fish and shellfish.

Vacationed in Myrtle Beach and drove myself crazy trying to find fresh steamed blue crabs before I found this establishment. Customer service was great. Ordered half dozen of crabs and due to the wait (which I had no problem with) got some extra. Crabs were huge and meaty.

I read about this roadside seafood shop. I read the reviews and decided we're going to stop here and get some of the crab cakes that people were talking about. The friendly people who came in lots of selection. Everything looked fresh. We talked about the local shrimp and we decided just to get the crab cakes. The young lady is talked about the recipes that we should use to cook them and they told us that she had personally made them earlier that day so they were definitely fresh. So unlike some other review here, we really enjoyed our visit. Talking to the staff getting some pointers on cooking. It's great visit. Another note I got home. We cooked the crab cakes and I'll attach a picture how good they looked which doesn't even compare to how great they tasted. We really enjoyed them. If you don't stop here and buy something you are missing out on some fresh seafood.

It was a nice little local market and very strong smelling. I paid $12.99 for medium shrimp that cooked down to extra small. I found better deals on jumbo shrimp at another location. So I probably wouldn’t make the 30min drive next time I’m in town. But if you’re in the area give it a try.

Went on to get some fresh whole local fish to cook and the staff were pleasant enough. They told us which were local and cleaned them for us, which was super helpful. Had a good selection of seafood boil spiced and also baking mixes. Prices were fair and the fish were delicious!

Great views during sunset, If the parking lot is full you'll be able to park across the street. Decent steaks and appetizers; definitely recommend the crab dip and fried green tomatoes. Steaks were cooked to the correct temperature.

Great outside terrace with a nice view and live music. Great service. The mahimahi tacos were disappointing. The other two dishes: great!

We really enjoyed our meal. Large portions and friendly service. Zero complaints and will def try out other menu items.

The gazebo at Wahoo's is the only place we've ever eaten there - because we love it. Staff is always terrific. Good happy hour drinks and food specials and, of course, the creek view. Great sushi specials on Thursday. Live music rocks (catch "The Formers" if you can).

Quick service, great views while being air conditioned. More affordable food and drink prices we saw during our trip. Stopped here after a charter with Yabba Dabba Doo out of Postcard Inn.

They have good food and drinks, one of the best Pina coladas I've ever had! The sushi prices are great during their happy hour, definitely recommend trying to get some during that time.

Wahoo's is one of our favorite places in the inlet. We love when the THOMASROAD band plays here. We love the bar and always have eaten in the bar. The servers behind the bar are outstanding, even during the busiest of times. Tony J, thank you for ALWAYS being the BEST bartender!! The food is wicked fresh. We had calamari with sweet chili Sause, seafood platter and salmon. The portion is enormous and always fresh.

OMG! Tried K-Rae's today for the 1st time. So fabulous! Inside and outside dining right at the marina! We tried the hot crab dip, summer salad topped with homemade chicken salad w/ cranberries and pecans, Italian grinder and strawberry shortcake! Everything was amazing and Wendy our server was the best! Can't wait to go back! Thank you Kerry!

I love to sit outdoors here. Service was great. This 2 star review is only because of their lobster roll. I have never had a lobster roll like this, normally there are chunks of lobster meat. This had a few tiny tiny slivers of lobster - even then I'm not positive it was lobster, which is mixed with tons of a cabbage slaw?? So it's about 90% slaw on a small hot dog roll.

I really wanted to love it. The location is awesome with wonderful views of the inter coastal waterway. This is our second visit. Our first was when they first opened which we felt wouldn’t be a fair review. Unfortunately the food was just ok and the service was just ok, the service was decent. I really want this place to succeed but they need to make improvements in the quality of the food. Will I give it another shot??? Sure. But three strikes are a deal breaker. This is nothing special. But we really want it to be.

River City Cafe is a quirky chain outpost known for its variety of burgers and casual atmosphere with peanut shells on the floor. The menu also offers chicken tenders and salads, although some customers have noted small fish servings at higher prices. Despite its unassuming appearance, the cafe surprises visitors with friendly service and delicious, juicy burgers that often require a knife and fork to eat due to their generous toppings.
Our family went today for lunch while passing by for the first time and it was AMAZING! The service was great, the food was fast and correct. The surf and turn burger with the sweet potato fries were to die for! We all left happy and very full with food to take home. Definitely recommend on your next family day outing.
Chassidy M — Google review
Love the atmosphere of the restaurant and the location. It feels like it’s off the beaten path so I think that allows it to be less crowded than a lot of other places. The menu has a lot of colorful and interesting options. I went with the Dilly-o burger platter. It was ok. Burger a little over cooked but still had flavor. Fries a little cool and soft from what seems like sitting. Ranch on the side absolutely fantastic. The census of the table is that all the burger paddies were over cooked. But none of it was intolerable. Our server was not very personable. Then became a little rude at the end while waiting on our bill and then when paying. I think trying a different location would best represent the company. The food needs to be upgraded and the service at this location.

I tried the fish & chips and it was delicious! The fish pieces were individual smaller (chicken tender size) pieces instead of one huge piece and I loved that. The fish was incredibly tender and dissolved in my mouth without even chewing. The cole slaw was great and very ambitious with raisins. Masterchef quality! The fries are a hit or miss, I've had what I called the best fries in my life at this location but today they were a bit flabby. It would be nice to hit them up for a minute in the fryer right before serving. The sauces and the slaw looked and tasted great and you could tell they're house made. The atmosphere is great, the staff is attentive and polite. Highly recommended!

What a fun place to eat! I loved the atmosphere here! This is a back to here’s your peanuts throw your shells on the floor if you like kinda place. So just be aware. There was a variety of American style food that was sure to please the family. A huge and unique flavor of hamburgers along with so many other sandwiches choices! Sides such as sweet potato fries, coleslaw, fries along with others. The prices were very reasonable here as well averaging $10-$20 per adult. If you have little ones that sit in a high chair they are available and there is a kids menu. The table has a brown paper table cover which is nice for everyone to color on if they so choose. (See a fun place! 😊) The service…. Well that went very well too very polite, cheerful, helpful and she was on top of anything else we may have needed as well. Me being me of course, since the cups were able to be taken home, I did that just for fun too. Oh one final note about this place…. There is a drawbridge just outside that I thought was really cool, but apparently it has a tendency to back up the traffic for about 15 minutes or so. So the food was really good, the atmosphere was really good and the service was just as good. As an add on a neat sight to check out while you’re there ! ENJOY !

Gulfstream Cafe is a seafood restaurant located in Garden City Beach, SC, offering upscale seafood dishes with stunning views overlooking Murrell's Inlet. It stands out as the only restaurant in the area that provides ocean and inlet views simultaneously. The menu features popular starters like onion loaf, N'Awlins shrimp, she-crab soup, and oyster shooters.
I can't say enough good about this beautiful restaurant. First of all, we arrived at sunset so we were able to sit at a small, romantic table looking out over the inlet to see one of the prettiest sunsets Ive ever seen. The inside is built with open beams with beautiful staircase that leads to the bar and additional seating. Every bite of my dinner was amazing. I had the seafood platter, and everything was cooked perfectly. The owner was gracious to come to our table to check how our meal was and was so nice to answer any questions and genuinely wanted to know if we were pleased with our meal. I hope to return here many more times in the future. The prices were very reasonable and the food quality was excellent!!

As beautiful as the sunrises are in Myrtle Beach, there just isn’t a great place to watch the sunset. There’s a few with partial views but the geography just doesn't lend itself to that. But I discovered a great place for sunsets…The Gulfstream Cafe in Garden City! It’s a bit of a drive but it's worth it! It’s just across the marsh from MarshWalk. It’s an interestingly designed restaurant a little off the beaten path. And there are quite a few stairs to navigate (as well as limited parking due to its popularity). But we made reservations timed to catch the sunset and were seated immediately when we arrived. We opted for the sunset deck on the upper level for the best view. Since it was Tuesday during the off season, we almost had it all to ourselves! The service was fast and courteous and we chose the Sunset Tower (with chilled shrimp, oysters, and lobster) which was delightful. Being a tequila aficionado, I tried the Fireside cocktail (a mix of mezcal, tequila, and a few other flavors) which was very good. We capped off the evening by sharing a sinful slice of their Key lime Pie. And the prices are very reasonable. With the help of our waiter, we took some beautiful photos. A gentleman whom I assume was the manager or owner came by and complimented us on “reserving” the sunset deck for ourselves. I grinned and said “it’s all about who you know…” It was a wonderful ending to our vacation and we look forward to coming back next time!

I cannot say enough good things about Gulf Stream Cafe! Tonight was our first time there. We were greeted right away by who I think must be the manager or owner and he gave us the best table. He came over to check on us. He gave us so many recommendations of places to go see and he even shared personal experiences with us. Our waitress- Danielle ❤️. Was amazing. She was so attentive. She was so sweet and caring towards our children and she went above and beyond to make the night enjoyable (my husbands birthday). We can’t wait to go back!!! The food- awesome! My husband and I both had the mahi mahi special and our kids loved every bite of their meals and the massive chocolate cake slice!!! Thank you again for a memorable evening. We will be back!!!

Watching a sunset here is perfect, the most beautiful view around. We sat outside on the deck, our server Danielle was attentive and the seafood platter was delicious. Great restaurant with a great view. The atmosphere was perfect, not to dressy but just right in a nice polo and beachy dress for the wife. Great place all around, I highly recommend!

The food was very good. We are regular diners at Gulfstream's sister restaurant (California Dreaming) and the food here was every bit as good. The service was excellent, and the restaurant has a splendid view of the bay and the Murrel's Inlet waterfront across the water. I overordered by ordering the hush puppy appetizer. I did not realize that the meal came with bread and hush puppies were included as a part of my fried shrimp platter. Our server, Gabby did a superb job. She was welcoming and efficient.

We really enjoyed eating here. The food was very good. If you need to get a seafood fix, with crab legs included, this is the spot. The moving sea creatures on the ceilings and walls were fun for the kids. Overall we will be eating here again when we are in the area in the future.

The food was okay. The crab legs were hit and miss. Some cracked great and the meat pulled right out and quite a few were rubbery and you had to dig the meat out. It still tasted good. I was shocked to realize they charge $5.99 for a ice tea.

10/10 From the moment we walked in, family of 7 we felt like we received an amazing experience. The restaurant features animatronics sea life hanging from the ceilings, walls, and even the doors, making you feel like you're dining under the sea.. We ordered 2 tropical mimosas and they were great…and you'll feel like you in paradise. Our server was amazing he kept our table clean and the drinks flowing .. He also made sure the operation run while we were dining which entertained the children… The fresh crab legs were a standout sweet, tender, and full of flavor in every bite. The peel and eat shrimp were mouthwatering and the potato salad was awesome along with the crab bites . The fried seafood was crispy, golden, and absolutely packed with flavor. For the ultimate indulgence, we had 2 whole lobster which was amazing.. it’s worth every cent spent . Our lobster was huge, juicy, and delicious! Make sure you try the desserts- they’re great… Highly recommend if you're in the area! 10/10 we will be returning..

We had dinner at Crabby Daddy’s and it was honestly amazing. The fried oysters were some of the best I’ve had in a long time, super crispy and fresh. We had lobsters and crab legs too and they were cooked perfectly. Everything was full of flavor and so satisfying. The pineapple drink was such a fun surprise. It came in an actual pineapple and was the perfect mix of sweet and refreshing. It tied the whole meal together and made it feel like a little tropical escape. The staff, Hayke, was friendly and made us feel right at home. The service was quick, the food was hot, and we left full and happy. If you’re a seafood lover, you really need to check this place out. We’ll definitely be back.

The crab legs are delicious! Everything else is okay. The price is ridiculously high. We had 8 people. 6 of them were children and ours was $320. Was it worth $320? No, definitely not. But the animatronic ocean friends are wonderful for kids!

This was our first visit to Nance's and we'll be going back! My wife had the shrimp/scallops and I had the whole baby flounder. That was crispy and I loved it. Our server Corinne took good care of us. And the guitarist performing was loud enough to hear, but not overwhelming like most of the Marshwalk.

First time here in several years. Used to be my favorite oyster shack. Oysters were good, but all very small. Service was nonexistent. Waitress took our order and didn't come back except to bring us a bill, when she then noticed we didn't get a large portion of our order. Good was brought out by kitchen staff. No check ins, no drink refills, etc. Our appetizer was comped due to one entree never being brought out to us. This is unacceptable. We never even saw our waitress, to tell her we were missing a meal. For an hour, no one asked, checked in or noticed.

Came for the live music..was a wash out unfortunately… but the view was amazing! The drinks from our bartender Jared were amazing and suggestions were on par. The Ghost Margarita is a MUST HAVE! Local oysters not to much of a brine, not to sweet, and massive. Although our table touches were scattered on a slow rainy Friday, the drinks and food will have you coming back for more.

Marylander here. 2nd time here for my fiance-Its been over ten years though. First time for Me, my mother and my daughter. Our waitress was amazing. Hush puppies were really good but not what we are used to bc they were sweet. We all liked the crab dip, my daughter finished it off. I had Alaskan crab legs with potatoe & corn, I loved it. My mom & daughter had fried soft crab sandwich with potato salad, my kid wasn't a fan but my mom liked it. My mom LOVED the oysters they had. My fiance hasn't seafood plater with shrimp, fish, scallops and potato salad..I tried a bite of his food and it was good, just a little fisher tasting than im used to. Potato salad was different than im used to but I took it home and and it later. Would definitely come back again next time im in the state.

Spectacular views of the Inlet. I highly recommend visiting during sunset. Thick white cut of fish. Batter is on the heavier side. Clam strips were some of the smallest I've had. Tasty fried food overall. Crab cake pictured I believe was ~ $12 Hushpuppies are some of the best I've had! Compared to the other marshwalk area restaurants I would say it's alright. I definitely enjoyed my meal though.

This was our second time. If been looking forward to going back because our first visit was 5- star. Not this time. Over 2.5 hours for drinks, appetizer and meal. Our poor server was running inside, outside, up and down stairs. The food took forever to come out of the kitchen. What was a great place for us has been changed to cater to people outside for the music. We were told "she's changing a lot of things" by one of the staff. Changing not for the better. I went to the ladies room and the toilet seat was hanging off the toilet in the miniature toilet stall labeled handicapped. We were so disappointed!! Time to find a new favorite place.

Walked in and sat at the bar—place was slammed, but the bartender was working solo and absolutely nailed it. Service was fast, friendly, and spot-on, even under pressure. The fresh oysters from the coast of Virginia were some of the best I’ve had in a long time—perfectly chilled and super fresh. I also ordered a pound of boiled hot shrimp, and they were delicious—seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was an upper-end beach vibe with an amazing view—exactly what you want when you’re by the coast. Will definitely be back!

Steak house

Restaurant
Texas Roadhouse is a lively steakhouse chain that offers American cuisine with a Southwestern twist, set amidst Texas-themed decor. Despite some waiting time for a table, the experience was enjoyable with great service and delicious food. The menu features hand-cut steaks and made-from-scratch entrees, including favorites like freshly baked rolls with cinnamon butter. The Early Dine In menu offers complete meals at an affordable price.
This was my first time at a Texas Roadhouse, and it is about 30 minutes from where my parents live. It seems to be one of the only ones in a large area, so it was pretty busy when we went! We waited about 45 minutes for a table. Patrick was our server, and he was fantastic! He was extremely energetic and upbeat, which was so nice! We got a few rounds of the famous rolls with honey cinnamon butter. Patrick told us not to be shy and brought us more every time we wanted some. For our meals, I ordered the country fried chicken with a loaded baked potato and buttered corn, and my sister ordered the chicken critters with french fries. The country fried chicken was delicious! The chicken was juicy and tender, and the gravy tasted excellent on it. The loaded baked potato was also great, topped with butter, sour cream, bacon, and cheese. The skin of the potato was rubbed with salt and it tasted amazing. The buttered corn was good, too! The chicken critters were good, and the french fries were nice and crisp. The atmosphere was very loud and high energy, which was nice. Overall, we had an amazing time here and I would definitely come back to a Texas Roadhouse location!

Our server tonight was Emily and they did a FANTASTIC job as our server tonight! Emily was attentive, professional, kind, and entertaining. If you dine at this location you would be lucky to get Emily as your server. I got the All-American cheeseburger and it was delicious! After eating some roles and half a salad, I only was able to eat the burger and unfortunately the fries went to waste. Everyone else in my party also thoroughly enjoyed their food. My parents’ steaks were cooked to perfection! Now onto the atmosphere. The restaurant is generally decorated as a traditional Texas Roadhouse with a few key features that make it unique (or maybe not, I don’t really go to Texas Roadhouse). The restaurant has a “Willie’s corner” as in Willie Nelson. It was definitely an interesting touch. The other interesting feature is the giant mural of an indigenous man. Something feels wrong about a restaurant filled with white people eating steaks while a mural of a generic indigenous man watches over. If you are planning to come here make sure to get on the waitlist before you even leave for the restaurant. The wait can be very long.

Kate was PHENOMENAL, we weren’t having the best experience food wise (was claimed because of bike week) but she went above and beyond so we had a great experience. Even though only 2 people enjoyed the meal she made the meal enjoyable. The ribeye ordered medium rare was more than rare and they were starting to run out of steak, they were already out of prime rib, steak bites, steak medallions, and steak kabobs. Kate was great and got the manager to comp the steak, our appetizers, and the sides. Great job Kate and we’ll try again because of your service!

We are here in SC for Mustang Week. Our waitress Skyler did a great job and was super friendly! She checked in on us to make sure everything was good. Gave us fresh butter to take with our rolls to go. The food was really good and fresh! The place was clean. I would definitely come back to this location when we’re in the area.

We stopped here this past Sunday. It definitely was not worth it, we planned on having a family dinner together. Two out of a party of 4- experienced cold food. The first time the ribs were definitely not as advertised "fall off the bone" the second time it was. However, by the time we received the food returned hot the other 2 finished their meals. It was extremely busy and the service was lacking. It took forever to even be able to tell our waitress the food was cold, so we did have to flag down another staff member after waiting a while. Just not what we were hoping to experience for a bill of $100. I truly felt it was a waste for what we spent.

This place is by far my favorite place to eat. I rarely ever give 5 stars because I believe there is always room for improvement. But the Texas Roadhouse in Murrells Inlet exceeds the standard for everything a restaurant should be. For starters, the complimentary hot rolls and sweet butter are amazingly good. It takes a huge amount of self discipline to only eat one basket. I usually get something different every time I go and I've never been disappointed. Delicious, prepared just right. Tonite I had a loaded sweet potato for the first time....I didn't stop eating it until I finished it.!!! And I think I could've eaten another. I had the 5 Oz. salmon with a house salad. The salads are always fresh,chilled,..perfect. The service here is impeccable. I've never even experienced mediocre service,it's always been right on time. Tonight server Ellie waited on us and she was amazing!!! Attentive, friendly, and patient. I think it's important to note that the TEXAS ROADHOUSE in Murrells Inlet stands ALONE !!!! DO NOT confuse this place with ANY of the other Texas Roadhouses you may come across. I have eaten at others thinking it was the same . Completely different and nowhere close to being as good as the Texas Roadhouse in Murrells Inlet.

1. I joined the waitlist and marked handicap accessible. When we arrived, the host seemed unsure if he could find us on the list. No big deal, the restaurant didn’t seem that crowded, and we barely had to wait. HOWEVER, the host then asked if I could “do the stairs”… as I was sitting in my wheelchair. Ummmm no I can’t. 2. The posted hours online and on the window say this location closes at 10 p.m. We arrived around 7:40 p.m. and left at 8:35 p.m. During our visit, it felt like the staff was more focused on closing than on the guests who were still dining. I completely understand wanting to wrap up and head home but sweeping around our table, slamming chairs, and loudly prepping the dining section for closing while we were eating came across as rude and unwelcoming. I don’t like dirt & trash being dusted up in the air as I try to eat. Will not return.

Driftwoods Seafood & Steak Restaurant is a laid-back spot that offers a simple menu featuring seafood and steak favorites, along with soups, salads, and a full bar. Locals love this restaurant for its good dinner options, although some find the tuna salad and crackers plain. The blackened chicken and shrimp as well as the steak and mac and cheese are highly recommended dishes. The service is great, with friendly staff who make the dining experience wonderful.
Great food! Chicken Marsala was delicious. It is a thin chicken breast. Chicken& Shrimp Cajun Alfredo was very large serving. Definitely could share. Shimp and Grits were very large and withy sharing. Seafood platter was share worthy. Mahi-mahi was large and juicy.
Boerman F — Google review
The service was pretty decent and the food was good overall. I ordered the blackened Mahi Mahi with slaw and cheddar potatoes and my wife ordered the fried big platter. The Mahi Mahi was pretty tough and a little dry (under the heat windows a bit I assume) but was edible. This place can get busy and parking can be a pain but the experience overall wasn't bad but could be better. Also, be prepared for a surcharge on your CC or debit card..we got hit with 2.75 on a $91 bill

The best we have had on this vacation. We both had the all you can eat crab legs and shrimp. Chefs kiss! Wonderful. The prices eeeryecvellent also. No over priced food. Our server Jimmy Burke was amazing. I will go so far as to say the best server I have ever had. Wonderful personality. He really seems to enjoy his job which goes a long long way. We will definitely return. Highly recommend. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I am very disappointed of this place. This is usually my family’s to go place. We’ve been coming for years. The service and food has been declining. My siblings and I took our mom there for her birthday and our waitress acted like she didn’t want to serve us. She kept asking my sisters’ questions regarding extra charges as if they couldn’t afford it. The food was lousy, it had no taste to it. The oyster Rockefeller was absolutely disgusting, as if they just threw whatever on top and barely cooked it. I don’t know if we caught them on a bad day, but we won’t be back anytime soon.

Waitress (Abree) was great. Refilled drinks without being asked. Food arrived quickly. It was hot and delicious. Shrimp were prepared just right, tender and not chewy. Flounder was tasty and flaky, not mushy. Will definitely be back!

10/7/25: Our party of four was quite pleased with the friendliness and attentiveness of server Ethan White. The two pieces of meatloaf were sizable and delicious. More scallops than you’d expect with the scallop dinner. Finished off the meal with Driftwoods homemade bread pudding with vanilla ice cream and whipped topping. Don’t visit here without trying (or sharing) this large dessert. Our ❤️friends frequent Driftwoods so we tried it at their urging and left happy😃and full. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Laura & Mark VanValkenburg, The Bluffs on the Waterway, Myrtle Beach.

If you don't want to make the trek east to the Marshwalk, Driftwoods has a solid seafood selection & quality. Not pictured are some of the best hush puppies I've had. Cool boat & fish centric decor. I would visit again.

Update: our first trip here was great! You can read below. We were just here last weekend and it was horrible! Cold She Crab soup that I had to send back, my husband wanted the special of blackened sirloin and scallops. Steak was tough and the scallops a joke. I had the chicken marsala and it was salty, chicken was overcooked and the mashed potatoes were like glue. We asked our server if they had a new cook because the food was just horrible. I even sent an email with no response. Sad because I thought we had found a new awesome place. OLD REVIEW: Stuffed flounder was excellent and the She Crab soup is the best I have had since we moved down here and I have tried it many places. Reasonable prices too.

Inlet Provision Company is a delightful dining gem that opened its doors in 2019, conveniently located next to the renowned Hot Fish Club. This charming restaurant stands out as one of Murrells Inlet's most budget-friendly spots, with a menu featuring an array of dishes priced under $15. The interior boasts rustic decor that creates a cozy bar atmosphere, while the expansive waterfront deck offers breathtaking views of the shoreline—perfect for enjoying your meal al fresco.
The food was delicious! The vibe was peaceful and calm. They had a young guy singing at the bar, he was fantastic also! We had been out all day and were starving. I saw this place on Google and had to try it. It was the favorite meal while we were at the beach. The waitress was awesome, we ate it all.

Great food served in a fun atmosphere. My salmon and salad and my husband's fried flounder with fries & coleslaw were excellent. The place is very large and it's decorated great and it has great views of the inlet and a boardwalk out back. It's in an area south of the Marsh Walk where there are a few more restaurants. They have two large bars (one inside & one outside) and large windows throughout the restaurant, so you can take in the views. Our server was very nice & attentive. The restrooms were clean. We'll definitely return.

Craft beer was $6.50. I had the Blackened Mahi-mahi served with a creamy Edisto Island yellow grit cake, lump crab meat & lemon butter sauce and Brussels sprouts ($24.95). She had the Pick 2 (Shrimp & Crab Cake) with the Edisto Island yellow grit cake and Brussels sprouts ($31.95.) My Mahi-mahi was nicely seared and with the crab and butter sauce it was delicious. Her shrimp and crab cake were delicious too. I liked the grit cake but she didn’t care for it. The Brussels sprouts were pan fried but many still had the stringy stalk end attached. Samantha N. was helpful and attentive.

We stumbled upon this place completely by accident—and thank goodness we did! It was so good, we came back two nights in a row during our beach trip. Hands down 110/10. The first night (Wednesday), we had Taylor as our server, and they were absolutely fantastic—super friendly, attentive without hovering, and just had great energy. The food, the vibe, everything felt like we hit the jackpot. So of course… we had to come back the next night (Thursday) for our final dinner of the trip. That second night, Kristen (praying I have her name right) took care of us, and once again, it was stellar service. The whole place had this chill, relaxing atmosphere, with zero wait both nights (how?!), and the view over the marsh? Unreal. Peaceful, scenic, and just the perfect wind-down spot. Taylor even came out and said “hey” which made us feel a little special. And now… the food. Let’s just say if I could hug a side dish, I would. The skillet honey butter cornbread was absolute chef’s kiss perfection—crispy edges, warm center, that melty butter magic. And don’t even get me started on the lobster mac… rich, creamy, generous on the lobster, and dangerously addictive. We were shameless about ordering the cornbread two nights in a row. We even got to enjoy taking a few cute photos of the kids out back on the marsh walk! It truly felt like we found a secret local favorite, and we’re honestly a little jealous of anyone who lives close enough to go all the time! This has easily knocked some of the big competitors down the street completely off our list and have now been replaced with Inlet Prohibition.

This place has a very relaxed and fun atmosphere. We had drinks and then dinner at the bar. Food was great. The back opens to a small board walk that gives you the opportunity to walk around a bit and look out at the Marsh. The fries specifically are great - not your regular French fries but big crispy potato wedge twists. Updated menu attached in photos. Would come back!

Jacob was amazing, he knew what to suggest, knew the menu & a great vibe! The food was 5 star, best $40 meal I have ever bought. My steak was cooked perfectly & everything came out super fast from drinks , appetizer & our meal. Portion sizes were large !!

Nestled along the picturesque Murrells Inlet Marshwalk, Bubba's Love Shak is a vibrant and rustic eatery that captures the essence of coastal dining. With its colorful decor and inviting patio, this lively spot serves up delicious fried seafood alongside classic American fare, all complemented by inventive cocktails. The atmosphere here is ultra-casual, making it perfect for unwinding after a long day or dancing the night away during their late-night parties.
What a surprise! We have been coming to the marshwalk area since I was a child, and I’m now almost 60. We have our favorites, and we tend to get into a groove. But, last week we were in Garden City Beach and it snowed! Not a little bit of snow. Actual New-England-type-snow. But, since we have lived in New England at some point in our lives, we knew how to drive in the white stuff. The problem was finding anything open. We were surprised and thrilled to see the Bubba‘s Love Shak red ‘open’ sign was lit! We were also surprised that when we entered, there was a roaring fire. I pulled up a chair next to the fire and never left. The server came and delivered our drinks and our food, and I just ate my shrimp on my lap. The final surprise was in the quality of the food. Wow! The house salad, which comes with a house dressing that is equal parts honey mustard and a hot bacon, was outstanding. It was really large, and when I poured both dressings on and mixed them together it was one of the best salads I have had in years! I ordered the fried shrimp special which came with the house salad and a side, and I chose the mashed potatoes. They were “OK” and were the only little bit of disappointment in the meal, because I’ve had more flavorful mashed potatoes. But the salad and the shrimp more than made up for it! Next time I’ll just choose a different side. My husband had a fish sandwich. He also found it flavorful and it was a nice-sized portion. And our server… Our server was attentive, funny, always looking to see if we needed another drink or anything else. I really wish I remember her name, as she was just delightful. Bottom line, we will be back! We have an entire list of places we go on the marshwalk, and this will now be at the top. Cannot wait to introduce our friends to this restaurant, because we have been basically stuck in a loop of going to the same ones year over year. The only other disappointment was that they had to close the bar, and I was craving one more wonderful rum punch next to the fireside, but it was getting slick outside, and I am just so thankful that they opened at all and allowed a few of the locals to come in and enjoy a respite from the snow and weather. Also, I had never seen the Marshwalk in the snow, so there are some photos attached here. It was lovely!

10/10 recommend Bubbas! The atmosphere is fantastic, the food was great, that band was awesome, and Ava our waitress was the best! She was so sweet and attentive even with it being a very busy Friday night.

Such a cute little spot, with some pretty views. It’s quite interesting, as they use the grill & menu from the restaurant next to em (currently J Peter’s Grill & Bar), but either way, it was a great experience, great food, & pretty views to help the mood.

Great view on the MarshWalk! Super cute little place. Kinda pricey - 1 coke & 2 mich ultra drafts was $14.50. Second round was half of that since it was happy hour! Didn’t eat, was just a quick stop, but the food looked great. Service was quick & the Bartender was nice.

She crab soup was really good. Crab cakes were perfect for me. Service was lacking. Didn't have enough wait staff. But very jovial. We will return.

Food was excellent and the service was just as great. We sat outside on the patio and had amazing views of the inlet, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is laid-back and fun, perfect for relaxing with good food and drinks. Definitely a place I’d recommend and will come back to!
Cody T — Google review
We stopped here for lunch on a Friday and sat at the outside picnic tables because our dog was with us. The waitress was super friendly and even brought our dog a styrofoam container full of fresh water! The service was great, and the food was delicious. We ordered a J Peters salad (comes with a croissant that seemed to be drizzled with light honey, so good!), a grilled chicken sandwich with seasoned fries, and a fried grouper sandwich with fries. Everything was very good. Per the waitress, there are no longer goats on Goat Island. LOL Also, Bubba's and the J Peters restaurant next door are owned by the same people, so you get the J Peters' menu when you order. That really didn't matter though because the prices were reasonable, and the menu offered quite a few food choices.

It really is not much more than a shack on the Marshwalk. The kitchen is in J Peters and it is a part of that restaurant group. Food is always exceptional and the atmosphere is tough to beat. There's live music most everyday.

I'm not sure exactly what I expected prior to going to the Spring House Family Restaurant but it wasn't at all what thought it would be. To say that we were pleasantly surprised would be a complete understatement. Not only is the place exceptionally neat and clean but they decorated the restaurant for the holiday of that month. We went the end of January and there were Valentines Day decorations everywhere. Our waitress was happily fun as well as very efficient and informative. The food was pretty good as well. To sum it all up, I'd say it was good food, in a fun and festive atmosphere, with exceptional service. We will definitely be back.

Very nice place. Breakfast was real good and a reasonable price. Way better than the Egg restaurant down the road. Our waitress Brittany was real nice and made you feel like you were at home. My first time here. Decent place to have lunch. The food was ok but not outstanding. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The location and decor was the high point of my visit here. I heard birds somewhere I side the restaurant but I didn't see them. I'm assuming they were upstairs? I would come back here again to try something different.

If you are looking for a home cooked meal, you need to try Spring house family restaurant. Very affordable menu. The food is fantastic. My meal, salad and dessert were delicious. Had to save room for the homemade dessert. They are only open until 2pm. They serve breakfast all day. The spring house special is my favorite for breakfast. You get 2 pancakes, 2 eggs any style and choice of bacon or sausage (patties or links) all for $7.50.

Definitely a new go to stop for breakfast. The staff made our first visit very memorable. I have never been greeted by such a friendlier bunch in my life. So up beat and genuinely happy. The restaurant is cozy and inviting and our breakfast was excellent. They have the best coffee! You really should stop here if you are traveling through town you won't be disappointed.

This was our first time ever trying this restaurant and it was AMAZING!!! Everyone truly enjoyed the food that they ordered. When we got there, we were told it would be a 15 minute wait which we were totally fine with. We only waited maybe 7 minutes and they had us a table quickly. The server was extremely nice and took our order and within maybe 15 minutes (if that), we had our food. My family and I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again.
Adrianna D — Google review
Judging by the amount of vehicles in the parking lot this restaurant has a steady flow of customers or the likes of regulars that hang around for a long time. Either way, one is always welcomed to a complete menu offering breakfast or lunch. The standard breakfast fare of eggs, buttermilk pancakes, Belgian waffles, breakfast sandwiches and biscuits, a good number of omelets and a whole lot more are for your choosing. My choice was the Carolina Omelet with onions, peppers, bacon, mushrooms, sausage, ham and cheddar cheese that came hot. Ingredients are minimally, as the 3 egg omelet was pretty thin and not real flavorful. Good texture with a side of pancakes that were fluffy and sweet. Food came fast and service was friendly. The interior is dated with adequate spacing of colorful booths and tables, plenty of greenery hanging about and yes, if one looks to up the white railing, one will find a bird in a cage.

Good pizza friendly staff My girlfriend had the Hawaiian pizza and I had the one with spinach feta and mozzarella. I don’t remember it’s name. We also had some spinach artichoke dip. On Mother's day this year, they had an issue with their card reader which was unfortunate for both myself and the restaurant that day however the way the restaurant decided to handle it was so heartwarming and really showed how much they love their customers! This time, we were celebrating mine and my mother's birthday, and the staff made us a card with our cake! The cake's name was "chocolate dream," if you want to get it. Ordered the chicken Marsala and the portion was an absolute joke. I was given the option of fries as a side and got 12 truffle fries in total along with a measly tiny little piece of chicken Marsala. My whole table ordered dishes and they all arrive with plenty of food, and my dish looked like it was a kids meal. Do not recommend you spend nearly $30 for 12 fries and a tiny piece of chicken.

We will return to this fun local joint that has such good food. This place is a great less expensive alternative to the seafood places on The Marsh Walk. In addition to the regular menu, there are so many specials written on the chalk boards. SO MUCH SUSHI! Many creative items on the chalk boards. The service was fine. My favorite fried seafood place in the local area. Excellent seafood at great prices. Top notch service by our waiter named High Tower. He is really a great guy and very attentive in taking good care of his customers. The only negative in regards to atmosphere is that they tend to blast the music or the TVs too loud. Sometimes so loud that it s difficult to hear the person next to you at the same table The server High Tower will sometimes get them to turn it down over in the dining area.

J Peters Grill & Bar - On the MarshWalk is an upscale-publike establishment that offers a wide range of American cuisine and cocktails. Their menu includes various options, from salads to prime rib, all served in a stylish setting. This restaurant stands out among others in the area due to its emphasis on fresh and locally-sourced seafood, which has been a tradition since its family ownership began in 1974.
It was very good. The grouper sandwich was HUGE and so tender and flaky. Just exquisite! The spicy shrimp app was so good and the salmon was wonderful. Next visit we will certainly come again.

The early bird menu is where it is at! You get a salad, croissant, and dinner - most items around $20! You'll be full and satisfied in no time. We got sat right away, but there was a decent wait for our food to come out. Baked potato was dry and although I saw a different plate with chives and greens on theirs, our group didn't get that element included. Staff were definitely busy, may have appreciated a bit more attention for a refill on our drinks.

My mother and I were in the mood for a great meal and needed to relax so we went to J Peter’s. Even though we ate inside you still have a great view of the water. The booth was comfortable and the food was fabulous! Our server was attentive and personable. We both got the grilled chicken with loaded mash and a side salad. The salad was so good and I loved everything they put on it, not to mention the croissant. The chicken was beyond moist, and heated up well as did the potatoes, because it was so much food we had to take most of it home.

Absolutely Incredible Experience! Six of us came in as first-timers, and you would’ve thought we had never been to a restaurant before. The food was phenomenal and at an amazing price. Every single dish we tried was a hit—the croissants, salads, POTATO SOUP, steaks, crab cakes, mashed potatoes, JALAPENO SHRIMP…all I can say is OH MY GOD. The service was top-tier. Everyone was kind, patient, and genuinely happy to guide us through the menu. We are coming back tomorrow night and bringing more friends and family. Highly, highly recommend!

The food was great and this location has an awesome atmosphere overlooking the inlet. The thing that stood out the most was the service. The manager, Sherrie (sp?), was extremely attentive and active throughout our dining experience. She was constantly checking on tables, carrying dishes, and doing everything she could to help employees while ensuring customers were taken care of. Once I finished my salad, I slid the plate to the edge of the table. Sherrie was walking by and literally grabbed the plate two seconds after I slid it over (never breaking her stride). It was nice to see a manager so engaged. Samuel also did a great job as our waiter. Our drinks, appetizer and main course came out quickly and hot. He checked on us several times and was very prompt with refilling our drinks or anything else we asked. Fantastic dining experience!

We went here for my son’s birthday, hoping to have a great meal. Oh, but tit was far from that. The tender steak they advertised was tough, no flavor. My son had steak and shrimp, he was sick all night afterwards. It was a terrible meal at a very high price. Sickness and the price of the food. The service was fine but they were not busy so I guess that was a given. I would not recommend this place at all. *****Update thanks to this restaurant my son was sick our entire trip. ********

The croissants were the bomb...so good we took 2 orders home! The ambiance, service, and food far exceeded our expectations! Will be our "Go Too" on our future trips!

Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom is a family-friendly restaurant chain known for its Italian dishes and extensive beer selection. While some customers were disappointed that the Detroit Style pizza was no longer available, others enjoyed the variety of appetizers, such as cheese sticks. The Chicago 7 Pan Style pizza was praised for its similarity to classic pan pizzas from the past. Visitors also appreciated the friendly staff and clean environment.
Just left the beach and was ready for a cold beverage and Old Chicago sounded fine. Happy hour margaritas was right on time. Thanks Paxton our server co, she did an excellent job. You got to try the baked pizza rolls. Their pizza is amazing though a little pricey. Really large bar and outside area. Highly recommend trying it.

This is a really nice pizza and bar restaurant. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch with spinach thick crust pizza. It was one of the best pizzas I have had. Unfortunately, I have heard that Old chicago was bought out. If you want to try this pizza for yourself, I would do so as soon as possible.

Server did so much mistakes but she's very nice and apologetic to us so we said it's fine and gave her a nice tip.. She must be very tired. She Let us get happy hour items at happy hour prize before the time ended, the manager approved so she's awesome too. Our pizza was wrong but made us another one and let us keep the mistake one!!! Management must be very good but I hope they are also good to their people as well. I recommend their spinach and artichoke dip and the buffalo chicken rolls!!!

The menu is so good that we can’t wait to come back - lots of delicious options! Liv was our server and she was great. Pictured are the fried pickles, buffalo chicken roll ups, the Thai pizza, and the Nashville hot chicken pizza. These are our new favorite fried pickles, for sure!

Food was pretty good. Happy hour wings (5) were #6 and personal pub pizza was $6. Lots of beer to choose from. This location. Is closing soon.

Great taproom. Good selection of local and regional craft beers. The pizza was flavorful. The crust with just enough crisp and the sauce slightly tangy but not overpowering. But if this is Chicago deep dish, I'm a monkey's uncle. One thumb 👍 Worth a visit for the beer, and the other food looked good. But if you're from Chi-raq and expecting Lou Malnatti's, don't get your hopes up.

Wanted some really good pizza but didn't want the run of the mill stuff. Well, we found our place. Not too crowded (Kentucky Derby), the one drink I had was ok, but the pizza was the BOMB!!! We had the Chicago 7. Ordered wings also, but they came naked. Not sure if she heard us, but we wanted barbecue, so I have to take off for that. Will definitely be dining in again and doing pickup.

My wife and I had the Ham & Pineapple hand tossed ale crust and a pepperoni & mushroom OC thick pan pizzas. Both were excellent and our server, Lyndsay, took good care of us. This was our first time visiting and we will definitely go back. Update: 8/7/23 Went back and had the Sicilian pepperoni rolls and Italian nachos at Happy Hour prices. Too much food so it was lunch the next day.

El Cerro Bar & Grill is a casual Mexican establishment that serves tacos, fajitas, and other traditional dishes. The restaurant has a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere with lively aesthetics. The menu offers all the customary Mexican cuisine one would expect to find. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. One can enjoy classic enchiladas consisting of chicken, cheese, and beef accompanied by rice and beans. Additionally, vegetarian options are available.
Wow. Great experience tonight at El Cerro. Terrific enchiladas! Happy-hour pricing on a pitcher of house margs was very nice. And Danielle treated us like family! Great service from the whole team. Thanks, guys!

COCKROACHES on our table! You wouldn't think I would need to say anything more, but it gets worse. I thought I should let someone know about this disgusting situation so I asked for the person in charge (who I believe was the owner). When he arrived , he made no attempt to pacify any of us at the table. In fact he was quite rude and nonchalant about it all. At the very least an apology and attempt to make things right should have come from him. I highly recommend you avoid this establishment. If not for the bugs then at least for the extremely horrible service.

Ive been to both the old and new locations. Recently the new location a few days ago. They changed the menu since at the old location. I think it's way way over priced and they don't have a huge selection. I understand it's a new location but the service was terrible it wasn't even overly busy . They didn't refill our waters I had to wait a long time before they came to ask how the food was and i needed something for it that it didn't come with it was supposed to they walk away so fast when they put the food down my food was good/ok but cold by the time she came to check I still ate it tho while I waited .. something I would never do but actually thought about while I was there was to dine and ditch because I don't think the waitress would have even noticed and I watched her check on her usual tables a few times I even tried to wave her over , didn't even apologize for the wait and wasn't very friendly.i work in customer service and I'm very disappointed they way things are handled. Not sure if I'll be back as there are so many other restaurants around I think it was the last straw for me after being there a few times and it's very loud in there .

Food did not have much flavor. Wife asked for flan as dessert and you could clearly see that it had broke and was more like scrambled eggs

Went to the new restaurant on Friday September 26th sat at a table at the bar. Could not even hear my wife as it was so loud. We sat for 15 minutes and not one person came to our table to say hello to ask for our order or if we wanted anything to drink. So we left and we went to Los Cabos Mexican grill and cantina in Surfside. Got seated and waited on within minutes. Very sad as we've enjoyed going to the restaurant in the past a lot.
Charles B — Google review
Arrived with a medium size group of 11 and sat within a few minutes when tables were setup to accommodate us. I wish I remember the name of our server but he was terrific while really busy. House chips were served warm and salsa was pretty good. The cheesy queso could have a bit more oomph to it. My group ordered a lot of the enchiladas and chimichangas and all seemed pretty pleased. The steak fajita quesadilla was a hit as well as the cancun shrimp salad. I didn't get a pic of it but the carnitas was mediocre, seemed more roasted than slow cooked (was not advertised as slow cooked). I'm a bit accustomed to Mexican food from I am from so while there were highlights the food was just ok. But the people and atmosphere were a delight.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store offers American comfort food and gracious service, making it a favorite spot for tourists and locals. The restaurant has assistants who welcome guests and direct traffic, and waitress Laura was awesome - very helpful and kind. The food was hot and delicious, making it a perfect dinner choice. This wonderful American restaurant may soon become a family tradition!
A young man named Payton O was my server. Apparently he's only been working there for a few weeks but he was excellent. Had a fantastic personality, he was polite, professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and a delight. A delight. He definitely made my dining experience even better. The food was good but when you have an excellent server that just adds to the entire experience. They have a real treasure in Payton. I hope they appreciate him.

The restaurant was not really busy at 9:00 am. We were seated and noticed people at 4 tables. We were asked if we would like something to drink just short of 15 minutes and the server was not very engaging at all. The dining area had a strange mildew type smell to it, not horrible but noticeable. I could go on but am not really a complainer at heart.

We came here for dinner. Plenty of parking around the building. We looked around the store for a few minutes because there was no wait to get in. The store and restaurant were clean and the staff was friendly. Our waitress was not on top of things. She came quickly to greet us and take our drink order. She came back 10 minutes later without the drinks to tell us there was no lemonade as she apologized. She took our food order and got distracted by someone that walked into the restaurant as she shouted “Here comes trouble” three times before remembering she was taking our order. Once she came back to reality she finished our orders and said she would be back in a minute with our drinks. Twenty minutes later we got our drinks almost thirty minutes after ordering them. Luckily, the food came out a few minutes after the drinks so we didn’t wait long to eat. The food was great. It’s the reason I rated 4 stars and not 3. I got the Country Fried Steak with dumplings and hash brown casserole. The steak was battered and fried beautifully. I enjoyed every bite with the country gravy on top. Dumplings were great as usual. The hash brown casserole was fantastic. I didn’t think I was going to enjoy it as much as I did. I guess when you fry cheese and potatoes there is no way for it to be bad. I also sampled my daughter’s Buffalo Mac and cheese. Really creamy mac with a kick from the buffalo sauce. Overall good visit minus the bad waitress.

My family and I travel a lot and have eaten at many Cracker Barrel’s. This has been the worst one we’ve been to. We came for dinner. Food was okay. Mashed potatoes were disappointing and could not eat them. There were about two good employees when we went. The hostess was a very kind lady who sat us and our waitress was okay. Not sure if it was a manager, didn’t get her name, she had dark hair. Extremely rude. When we ordered we were asked which two bread sides would we like: corn bread or biscuits. We are a party of 8 so that would be 16 in total. Did not receive 16. The dark haired lady said they were out of biscuits but could give us three. Then we had about eight pieces of corn bread. Not everyone at the table was able to get the two pieces like we were offered. We asked the waitress, she said she would double check. Here comes the dark haired girl again, she gives us four more corn bread and said if we want more she will have to charge us. We started with 11, received 4 more. Still short a corn bread. We just left it at that. As I said, overall the food was pretty good besides the mashed potatoes were obviously very old. I now wish I had taken pictures. Sad that the experience wasn’t great due to a rude staff member/manager that doesn’t actually fix anything. Will not come back here. We will happily enjoy other Cracker Barrel’s that have kind staff. I read old reviews and lots of great ones. Unfortunately I can’t say our experience was great like others on here. If you go, good luck and I hope you have a better experience.

Was seated quickly, had a young man as my waiter, opened the menu and pointed to the picture of the old timers breakfast w/ beef tips and Hash brown casserole, the menu stated it came with biscuits/gravy and apples. My meal came and i requested Heinz 57. He brought me a near empty bottle. Everything was cold except the restaurant. Kid had 3 tables, never refilled my water until i asked for my check. Lucky i didn't chip a tooth on the biscuits. Gravy wouldn't melt butter. Never again!

Outback Steakhouse is a lively Australian-themed chain that specializes in hearty steakhouse cuisine, including steaks and seafood. During the Christmas to New Year vacation in Myrtle Beach, one customer had a delightful experience dining with their family at Outback. They ordered the classic prime rib steak cooked medium well and specifically requested leaner cuts of beef. The meal exceeded expectations as the cut was tender and perfectly prepared to medium well.
Had a gift card so we went for late lunch. Sat at the bar, served by Zach, nice young man did a great job Went in fully intending yo get a steak but got the all you can eat soup and salad. Great choice. The chili is full of steak pieces and has a little fire but not too bad. I also had a wedge salad that was incredibly fresh and excellent. In addition I had the pecan blue cheese salad also very good. At $9.99 this is the deal ofca lifetime. My wife had the appetizer shrimp and because my chili was so good she ordered a cup. Excellent service and food very satisfied. The gift card was from Firestone for doing an oil change, not bad.

I've never had a good experience at this location. This will be my last time trying. We sat for a solid ten minutes before anyone stopped by to take our drink order. We had to ask for a drink refill multiple times before we finally got our refills. No less than 3 times. I asked for my steak medium and it was beyond well done. The server never asked if it looked right or if it was cooked right. Adding a photo of what they call a "medium" steak. It was dry and overdone.

Aromas is a pizza restaurant in Myrtle Beach that offers delicious NY style pizza. The mozzarella sticks and marina sauce are excellent, and the pesto chicken pizza is fantastic. This place serves thin crust pizzas with large slices of pepperoni and generous amounts of toppings. It's the best pizza you can find in the area if you're looking for an authentic NY style experience.
We found this place about 7 years ago and try to make it here every time we are in town. The pizza is thin and foldable. We’ve had it every time. We’ve also had the garlic knots, the Antipasto Salad, spaghetti with marinara, and the Limoncello cake. All have been wonderful. Those delicious items keep us coming back along with the pleasant staff - Angela was our server today and she was very attentive and had a great sense of humor. 🙂

Hard to find a good Sicilian style pizza around here. So I had to try it out when I heard they offered it. It was delicious and much bigger than I thought it would be, could certainly feed a whole family. We also tried the garlic knots, which were nice and doughy. The aroma in our car when we picked it up was amazing! The place was really busy, but our pizza was ready in 40 min of ordering and still piping hot! There are about 7 or 8 tables if you want to eat inside. Only tough part was finding parking. Lots of cars driving around in circles. Luckily, I finally found a spot. Highly recommend!

Another disappointing pizza from Aroma’s. It was paper thin. Not enough dough which threw off the whole taste. We were recently disappointed with a Sicilian pie (after previously having a good one) because the dough just tasted and seemed old, not fresh. So we went back to regular which was also previously better. Will have to try a different place. Personally, if you have to raise the price, I’d rather they do that than skimp.

This place is absolutely incredible! I thought it was going to be just another pizza place, but I was so wrong! Everything we had was a 10/10! Best spaghetti I’ve had in a restaurant! The service was excellent. This place definitely knows what they’re doing!!! They were so busy and kept up with the packed full dining room and to go orders with ease.

I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend trying the Buffalo chicken pizza w blue cheese and red onions. They have several other speciality pies that are equally good such as the spinachio and their signature Aroma pizza. I always order the Steak and cheese sub which is consistently great. The Canolis are also on point every time. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Best pizza place hands down in the Murrels inlet socastee area.

Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries is a retro-themed chain that offers familiar fast-food selections in a 1950s soda-fountain ambiance. The restaurant serves delicious bacon cheeseburgers, onion rings with tangy BBQ sauce, and cheese steaks alongside fresh hot fries. The diner's atmosphere resembles a classic 50's-60's eatery adorned with cool photos and vibrant colors.
Mike NEEDED a burger today. So we decided to try out this place. As an unassuming storefront in a strip mall behind Chik-fil-a, we didn't expect much. Boy, were we surprised! We both ordered shakes to begin with; topped with whipped cream, his with strawberries and mine with chocolate chips and brownie pieces. They were delectable. When we ordered the food, the waitress was surprised when I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and chili cheese fries, but sometimes you just need chili cheese fries! Mike got a double bacon cheeseburger as well, his with cheesy tater tots. The burgers were gorgeous; not the frozen slabs you can get anywhere; Big and thick and juicy. The bacon you could've eaten by itself; sweet and smoky. The chili was delectable, and the fries were not drowned in it, nor in the cheese. Yes, the food was so good that we finished every bite. The decor is gorgeous; a mural of a drive-in theater with "Casablanca" on the imitation screen. The restaurant was clean and (dare I say) cute, pinks and blues. All that was missing were the tabletop jukeboxes, but their music background was 60's thru the 80's. If this place had problems before, they are gone now. This is a real hoppin' burger joint now! 😁 Where's the Fonz and Cunninghams? 😉

We used to love this location but after today we will not be back. The 2 men cooking the food in the open kitchen had horrible attitudes. They belittled the server. Our food was wrong so we sent it back and they threw a fit. We watched as they made comments to the server. She came back with the same food we had returned. We decided not to eat there and asked for the bill for the drinks. This threw the old man off the edge. He started yelling at us. Asking us what our problem was. We just wanted the food we ordered but apparently you are supposed to eat what they give you. They were pouring from 2 liters, off brand soda. The restaurant was a mess. I could understand if they were busy but we were 1 of maybe 3 tables. The servers were frantic. We question the safety of the women working there.

I did a call in order so that we could order and go pick it up to take home. We had someone coming over so we wanted to be able to pick it up on the way home to eat before we got home. First Ihe lady on the phone kept interrupting me while trying to order. She said would be ready in 15 minutes. We ran an errand and also went through the car wash to give them ample time so it would be ready when we got there. First when we came in I see a guy at the bar. The same lady who took my order on the phone had me pay for our meal. . I then see the cook at the grill look panicked. He grabbed the spindle where the kitchen tickets were stabbed and proceeded to pull of a few tickets to find mine. I watched as he then started to cook my food. Then the guy at the bar who turns out to be the other cook finally gets up from the bar to help. So we wait 15 minutes more for them to cook the food. I also saw another cook sitting outside. Get home and the onion rings are burnt. The cheeseburger is so well done my mother can't eat it. I ordered chili cheese tots and got cheese tots no chili. I've worked in a restaurant for over 25 years. I know things happen. Maybe they thought the ticket was already made and stabbed but the thing was there wasn't but one other person in the whole restaurant. They were not busy. I clearly saw the cook panick and realize he didn't make the ticket and had in fact stabbed it like it had already been made. And he saw that I saw him and no one said a word. A simple sorry would have made a world of difference to begin with. Also I would have made damn sure the food was cooked correctly knowing I had screwed up by not making the order to begin with. We used to go here fairly often. We live down the street from this restaurant. Again I know things happen but this was just overall a horrible experience. We will not be going back.

Oh boy, where do I even begin with this dining experience? Let me tell you, it was truly one for the books. From the second our oh-so-charming waitress leisurely strolled her way to our table, I just knew it was going to be a night to remember. And boy, was I right! The service was out of this world, I mean, it was so slow that I genuinely wondered if time had stopped altogether. But fear not, my dear friends, for I have the perfect explanation. It turns out our lovely waitress was actually in the midst of a casual drug-induced nap right in front of our very eyes! Could you believe the luck? Now, let's talk about the highlight of the evening, shall we? Picture this: our exquisite food, carried to our table with impeccable finesse. I use the term finesse quite generously here, though, because what our delightful waitress lacked in professionalism, she made up for in gusto. Without a care in the world, she decided to munch on what I can only assume was one of our precious fries, mouth wide open for all to see. It was truly a sight to behold, my fellow patrons. But fret not, ladies and gentlemen, for the other waitresses valiantly swooped in to save the day. They graciously took on the task of cleaning up after our absent-minded waitress. Now, I must say, cleanliness was definitely not a priority in this establishment. The floors resembled a picturesque landfill, with trash scattered haphazardly. It was quite the artistic installation, I must admit. And the best part? No one seemed to be bothered. Who needs tidiness when chaos adds that special touch to a dining experience? Oh, and let's not forget the grand finale, my friends. Our elusive waitress, nowhere to be found when we needed the check, left us with no choice but to embark on a pilgrimage to the front counter. Oh, the heartbreak! Witnessing someone struggle so profoundly with the most basic of duties truly brought a tear to my jaded eye. Needless to say, my dear companions, I will most definitely not grace this establishment with my presence ever again. It is an experience I will cherish in my memories, oh-so-fondly recalling the impeccable service, the pristine floors, and the exceptional culinary etiquette. Truly an evening worth recounting to all who are willing to listen.

The food was ehh, the waitress was nice but the cook (maybe owner) was a total jerk to customers and the waitresses, idk if I have ever seen someone so rude, I felt so sorry for the poor waitresses. The Beaver Bar Murrells Inlet is a popular spot known for its buffet breakfast on Sundays, with all profits going to local charities. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with friendly people and a jukebox playing tunes. The food offerings are diverse and delicious, including shrimp, wings, nachos, hamburgers, fries, slaw, fish bites, fried pickles and chicken tenders.
I had the absolute pleasure of spending 10 unforgettable days with the Beaver Bar family at the outside bar—and what an experience it was. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like part of the crew. Their hospitality, energy, and good vibes were unmatched. EVERYONE should be incredibly proud of the team they've built. The atmosphere is laid-back, welcoming, and filled with character. Whether you're a local or just passing through, the Beaver Bar is more than a stop—it's an experience. I truly had the time of my life and can’t recommend this national icon enough. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit—you won’t regret it.

We stopped in here during fall bike rally on multiple occasions throughout our five days. Always love coming here and sitting in the rocking chairs, crowd watching. Service is okay, it's a biker bar, and when it's crowded, it takes a little bit longer to get a service. Beer is cold and drinks are strong.

The service stunk … as I was the server it was my own fault that I spilled my coffee.. lol… seriously this was a wonderful buffet breakfast for an unbelievable price. They have eggs, fries, grits , biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, corn beef hash, breads, French toast and more that I am probably forgetting. The bacon lady(server) has an amazing attitude and made it more enjoyable. All for $7.00 will definitely return for another visit before we leave.

I was here for Spring Bike week 2024. What a fun place to hang out. Everyone I encountered there was very nice and friendly. Enjoyed the bands and the atmosphere. I'd really like to come back here after the rally. I didn't take many photos because I was busy having a great time. :)

The Beaver Bar in Murrells Inlet is the greatest place ever to go for Sunday morning breakfast. There is a wonderful buffet and the server, who comes around with bacon is exceptionally nice and friendly. All you can eat, eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, potatoes, pancakes, toast, biscuits, fruit, as well as other sweet tasties and includes coffee and refills. This is a wonderful buffet and friendly people. Some may not care for paper plates and plastic forks, as well as serve yourself and get your own refills; however, I understand the money they take in from this breakfast is going to a local charity or someone needy. For the Sunday morning breakfast it’s cash ONLY($7.00) but that’s fine by me because you know the $ is going to a good cause. The Beaver Bar is known to be a biker bar, but on a Sunday morning, you see couples, young and old, you see grandmothers, you see children and some friendly bike riders. It’s a wonderful place for Sunday breakfast. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the owner Leslye Beaver is there sometimes and quite often when she’s at their business in Florida, her daughter Allyson does a wonderful job of keeping things going.

Great place to hang out. Lots of vendors and they will be open before the rally kicks off because of being just over the county line. It's where I spend most of my bike week and there's lots of parking available for both bikes and cars.

In town for the tail end of bike week. Between here and Suck, Bangkok, Blow were a bunch of vendors. We were able to park and wandered the area. Because of the time of day and the volume of the crowds, we did not eat here or get a drink.

Habaneros, a Mexican restaurant on the Grand Strand, is known for its ability to accommodate large groups, which is a positive aspect. It is particularly appealing to families who are in the area for events like cheerleading competitions. Overall, the service at Habaneros is satisfactory; however, there was a slight inconvenience during checkout when they struggled with separating checks for individual payment.
Wonderful food, great atmosphere, wait staff was very friendly and quick. You can tell they care about the quality of the food for sure. I highly recommend eating here!

I will definitely not return to this location and will continue going to the Pawleys location. Smaller portions. Food was wrong (and not corrected) Food was bland. And our bill was WAY too expensive for 2 kids and 2 adults (zero appetizers and we all got water) still a $70 bill. I never write negative reviews But if you like the Pawleys location avoid this one 100%

They were able to accommodate our large group, which was nice. We were in the area for a cheerleading competition, and we had a bunch of families. Overall, the service was pretty good, except for when we were trying to check out. They told us it would be very easy to separate our check at the end and pay per person but when we went to do that they made it seem like they had no idea what we were talking about. The food was pretty good, but there wasn't much to complain about. I got a pork carnita taco, and that was pretty tasty. Pretty good, stable Mexican joint. Can get good food fairly quickly.

Food was reasonably priced and good. Service was good. This is a typical Mexican restaurant with limited lunch menu. I would not rate it as excellent, but it was a pleasant place for lunch. Very clean, and the restroom appeared to be exceptionally clean.

Tacos were horrible. Made me sick. Ground beef was rancid. I asked for corn tortillas and got flour. I am gluten free. I was so sick and the food the worst I ever had. Salsa was terrible as well. I wish I had puked outside but let it stay in my belly.

I ordered food to go. The food was so so, but we ordered cheese and it was left out completely. Also we were charged for a Spanish rice which was not what we wanted. We asked for the quesadilla to be cut and was replied back with“ oh, we are kinda busy, I’ll check with the kitchen”. It wasn’t cut. And we won’t come back.

Extremely rude. I’ve eaten here multiple times, and being that it’s so close and Mexican food is my favorite, I really wish this place would be better. The staff have zero personality, and act like you’re bothering them. The food is either bland or way too salty. When you order from door dash they give you the wrong food items. Go to la hacienda in socastee. The staff are always friendly and the food is delicious!!

While exploring the local pizza scene, I decided to visit Franco's NY Pizza. To my delight, I was not disappointed with their offerings. The Balboa pizza caught my taste buds' attention with its delicious flavors, and the naked wings were exceptionally large. Although I initially ordered inside, I opted to take it home and enjoy it there. The service was prompt, and the staff members were friendly throughout my experience.
Best pizza we have had in the Grand Strand area. It is worth the drive down from Myrtle Beach. Everything here is good and they have the best marinara.

In the area and had to check the local pizza scene. We weren’t disappointed! The Balboa is delicious and the naked wings were HUGE! We came inside to order but took it home to eat. The wait was fast and the staff friendly. We will definitely be back. The dining room is a pretty good size and has tv’s broadcasting.

Placed my order online. Almost 2 hours later I finally got it. Both the box with the calzone and the bag with my salad and garlic knots were handed to me upside down. I got the wrong dressing with my salad. The food was cold cold (not even warm) and my calzone that was almost 10dollars had 3 pieces of pepperoni on it! What a joke!! I would rate ZERO if I could!

Surprisingly good food and service was excellent. The pizza crust was crispy staying true to the NY style. Prices are very reasonable. Italian style entrees include pastas and parmigiana options. Antipasta salad was fresh with enough to share between 2 people. Wine selection was limited but the Tempranillo paired well with the pizza. Glad we gave it a try, will go back. Monday night is Trivia night, an added bonus.

I really don't understand how pizza hut, papa johns and dominos are still in buisness. This is seriously THE BEST pizza place in Myrtle Beach. Sorry Anthony's... Sorry everywhere else but you should be ashamed to call yourself pizza joints. Alyssa was SO nice and sweet and took great care of us. The food actually had taste to it!! I would have taken a picture of the cleanest bathrooms on the east coast but i think that would have been to excessive. Im so impressed by this place and I really hope y'all expand... I'd even buy into this! Best pizza. Best service. Cleanest restaurant I've ever been to.. Like I swear I could have eaten off the floor in this place and probably wouldn't have to worry.

Had a very nice quiet dinner for two at La Trattoria. Excellent, authentic Italian cuisine prepared very well and presented nicely. Really nice place. Generous pour on the cocktails. Good portions on appetizers. The Fra Diavolo was outstanding. Veal piccata was a little tough, but tasted good. Dessert sampler for four was way too much food, but excellent. Last but not least, the service was great.

Throw away your knife is the title of this review. Often overused phrase “ the best” but in this case it simply fits. The Chicken dishes are the most tender dishes you have ever tasted. No need to use a knife to cut, one press of your fork and up to your awaiting taste buds! Sauce is of very good consistency and texture, not too sweet with hints of spice. Eating Italian Food in NYC and then going to another state hoping to find some delicious Italian food out of state can be challenging. La Trattoria hit all the marks here, including atmosphere, service, parking and price point. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. They slash have an early bird special!

After basically giving up on good Italian food in the area we decided to give the place a try. We are from Sicily and New York. We have ate at lots of great restaurants up north. Our waitress name was Joe Ann, (outstanding waitress) the baked clams were great for our appetizer then main course was the seafood fradivolo outstanding!!! . This place did not disappoint. We will be back ,

Walked in on a Wednesday night and were able to get sat at a table right away. They were extremely busy and the service was slow as to be expected. The seating is very cramped and not a lot of room between tables or in walkways. The restrooms are through a server station, a little odd. The food was all very good. The Parmesan crusted scallops for appetizer was good. Entree’s were both delicious, veal and grouper.

We had a table for thirteen and had a wonderful dinner. 13 meals and zero complaints! That in itself is kind of a rarity. Everything was fresh, cooked correctly and tasted great. Most at this table had eaten here before and always enjoy coming back. Worth the trip for great authentic Italian food. What do you expect...the chef is from Naples! Truly a wonderful dining experience.

We had reservations for this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. When we arrived, it was about 15 minutes before we were acknowledged by an employee. The wait staff were friendly but did not keep our waters or drinks filled. We had to look for them to get their attention to ask for refills versus them checking on us. The food took about an hour to arrive at the table. It wasn't great or fantastic, but it was good. I enjoy Italian food, but I left here a little disappointed with the overall experience.

Judy Boone's Family Kitchen is a cozy establishment run by a friendly team. The menu offers homemade Southern BBQ dishes, including tasty fried chicken, flavorful Mac and cheese, exceptional brisket (a rare treat for those who don't often indulge in red meat), and delicious fritters. The salad bar is well-stocked and maintained with various options to choose from. The peach cobbler is a must-try dessert.
If you’re looking for the perfect spot for your team’s next gathering, consider Judy Boone's for an unforgettable experience. I recently organized our annual Christmas lunch there, and it was a hit! We arrived right as they opened, ensuring we had a great seating arrangement for our group of ten, and they accommodated us effortlessly. The wait staff impressed us with their delightful and efficient service. But the real star of the show was the food! With an incredible selection of home-cooked favorites like pork chops, fried chicken, baked chicken, meatloaf, ribs, shrimp, flounder, chicken bog, hash, and chicken and dumplings, there’s something for everyone. The giant salad bar and an astonishing dessert selection, including my all-time favorite, banana pudding, made our meal truly special. The variety of sides was fantastic—sweet collard greens, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, lima beans, and so much more. The rustic setting exudes a welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. It’s clean, comfortable, and has ample parking, making it effortless to plan your visit. We are already looking forward to returning! Trust me, Judy Boone's has become one of my local favorites, and it will be yours too. Don’t miss out!

Been a family staple for years! Can’t go wrong with the buffet here. Nice salad bar. Creek shrimp and fried flounder are a favorite along with the pulled pork and meatloaf. Lots of yummy southern sides. This is where the locals eat and if you give it a try you’ll see why!

Like a family restaurant with home cooked meals on a buffet. Food tastes great. Got a little of everything a southern style restraint can provide. Even has frog legs, ribs, salad bar, fried chicken, Meatloaf, chicken and dumplings and so much more. Constant flow of traffic coming in from tourist and locals alike. Decorated with fishing and boat decor. Very nice setting for family.

It was okay. Lots of older people and local workers were there for lunch. Not as great as everyone says, but we are glad that we tried it. My family said that the chicken, meatloaf and fried fish as better elsewhere. Side dishes are okay. Hush puppies are crunchy but not very flavorful. Peach cobbler was too sweet for me. Cookies were good. Salad bar is adequate. Service was solid.

We went to Judy Boone’s with the family and the atmosphere was like an old Timey restaurant. Everybody was very friendly, quiet and easy to talk. We will definitely go back every time we go to Myrtle Beach. The cooking is all homemade fresh and refilled so that you really never see anything empty. The pricing is so good that when we go there a family of six can eat for right at $100.

Mellow Mushroom Murrells Inlet is a funky and art-filled chain pizzeria that offers craft beer, calzones, and creative stone-baked pizzas. The restaurant is known for its vegetarian-friendly options such as hummus, bruschetta, and pretzel bite munchies. It also serves salads, specialty pizzas, calzones, hoagies, and more. With a history dating back to 1974 in Atlanta, the establishment has expanded to over 150 franchises.
This place is amazing if you are gluten-free/dairy-free. I felt like a kid getting a meaty masterpiece! Their drinks are also delicious! I never get more than 1 drink but their drink list was too good to pass up! We did have to sneak in past the "wait to be seated sign". In all fairness it was off hours, like 3 pm, but we thought it might be closed after hanging up front for 5 minutes without being sat!

Mellow Mushroom has a really nice atmosphere that makes for an enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant has a unique, fun vibe that both adults and kids can appreciate. The kids definitely enjoyed their meal and had a good time. The pizza is solid - above average quality with good ingredients and decent flavor. It's definitely a step up from typical chain pizza places. However, if you're a serious pizza enthusiast looking for exceptional pizza, this probably won't be your top choice. It's good, but not outstanding. Overall, it's a great spot for families looking for a casual meal in a fun environment. The atmosphere alone makes it worth a visit, and while the pizza may not blow you away, it's certainly satisfying and the kids will be happy.

Took the family out for dinner upon arriving when we walked in it was hot in the restaurant. We were actually seated at the thermostat on the wall it said it was set on 68 but the indoor temp was 83 not acceptable for a restaurant. Once we ordered our drinks the waitress came back and took our order, after we ordered she never came back to refill our drinks I actually had to stop her to get my daughters drink refilled. When the pizzas arrived they weren't even hot like they had been out the oven for awhile and they had no flavor at all 86.00 dollars later and it was a complete waste of money could have gotten better pizza at Domino's.

If you're looking for a true taste of New York while in the Georgetown/Horry County area, look no further than Danny’s Authentic NY Pizza. Danny’s Pizza is our go to for office lunches. The subs are the best on the beach, and the meatball sub is my personal favorite. The sesame bread adds just the right touch. Their pizza is excellent too!
Surfside S — Google review
We have a tradition of getting pizza no matter where we go. We were recommended to Danny's by friends who are locals and love this place. It did not disappoint. My husband asked if they imported the water from New York because apparently that is what gives the dough in NY a special flavor, but we were told they don't, that they get asked that a lot, and that Danny just makes his dough different every day depending on the weather (which, of course, my husband agreed is how it should be done). The only complaint we (my husband) had was the very tiny little tip of the (pepperoni) pizza was floppy and could have used another 10 seconds in the oven, but he also said that was so minute and this was the best thing we had eaten while visiting South Carolina (and we ate at a lot of good places while there). We also had the garlic knots, I like more butter on mine that they put, but the sauce it came with made up for this and was delicious, and the desserts, while not made in house, were also very good. We will definitely be back on our next trip to get more pizza and try some other things they offer.

Their counter-serve style allows customers to customize their orders according to their preferences. Customers can also conveniently place their orders using the app provided by the restaurant. The manager, who is known for being attentive and helpful, ensures that each order is reviewed carefully and provides options on how the boxes can be set up for easy organization.
I went here tonight for the March 26th fundraiser. The place was very busy but everyone there was still as polite as they always are. The food was great. It's a wonderful thing they are doing for the kids.

I'm kinda speechless. I've been a Jersey Mike's fan for about 25 years. Things are heading downhill there, at least at the Murrells Inlet store. Today I ordered, for pickup, a $17 giant and a $10 regular on gluten free bread. I paid $5.25 extra for the bread. My giant was a pathetic regular. I thought the order seemed light but I didn't look at it until I got home. For the last few years I'm going farther away from Jersey Mike's.

Really jersey mikes??!! When did you become the outrages priced subway??!! I paid 20.00 for a "giant" sub and this is what I got when I opened the package at home. The cheese is seriously sliced so thin you can see daylight through it! So disappointed! You've lost a long time customer today from this. And you can't even get my online order toppings correct! Shameful!

Jersey Mike subs are good. Everything is fresh, and the bread is great. The only negative is that the subs are a little small compared to what Im used to in NJ.

This location and Surfside use to be impeccably ran, always busy but a good crew with a good work ethic and customer service. However, as of late, one employee/manager in particular (tall athletic girl, maybe a basketball player) has completely ruined that reputation IMO. It’s been multiple instances now where every time I go in and she’s working she has a terrible passive aggressive attitude right from the jump, like she just doesn’t want to be there and is inconvenienced that there is a customer and she has to work. Also, I’ve noticed when I want to place online orders, the online system will cut off a whole hour before close, meaning you can’t place an order. Whenever that is the case, I’ll just go in and place it in person and sure enough every time she is the manager working… pure laziness, doesn’t want to fulfill orders. It’s unfortunate that one bad apple seems to be spoiling the bunch and I’ve unfortunately seen her making her way over to the Surfside store now too.

This was the worst experience (11/18/24, evening). I've ever had at a Jersey Mike's. The food was terribly made and the staff so rude I was shocked (we had to toss our sandwiches). I will certainly never go to this one again and I am debating never giving my business to the chain ever again, although the stores near me in the Raleigh, NC area make great sandwiches and are always so nice! The saying, "the customer is always right" was not followed here and the staff was rude and did not offer to remedy the problem. We had to drive a little bit further (we'd been on the road for hours) so didn't discover the inedible mess they made for us until we arrived at our destination about 20 minutes later. My husband called and asked to speak to a manager, and I'm pretty sure the staff just passed the phone around amongst them. If it was a manager we spoke with I'm even more shocked. The wraps they made for us were so soaked in oil and vinegar that they essentially turned the wraps to mush. We had to toss them. I said "just give me a little oil & vinegar" and he was heavy handed anyway, and I said (evidently too quietly) "that's enough". But he had already put too much on. For my husband I said make it Mike's way, and he was super heavy handed again on the oil & vinegar. That is NOT Mike's way. I've been to many Jersey Mike's over the years and have never had anyone so heavy handed. This is where it went from bad to worse. The person we spoke with said it was OUR FAULT for not saying something right away and asking to have our sandwiches remade. And they said the sandwiches were made the way WE ASKED. Oh no no no! I didn't know how bad things were until we unwrapped them to eat. Who would ever want wraps so soaked in vinegar & oil?? They were not offering to give us our money back or new sandwiches as we had already left the premises. We asked for the managers name, said we were going to report this to Jersey Mike's corporate offices, and she literally just hung up without giving us her name!!! (And no we were not yelling or anything on the phone.) I'm am shocked. This was the one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. I will be reporting it to the corporate office. Steer clear. I strongly DO NOT recommend this location.

The food came out quickly and was hot and delicious! The only thing missing was the shrimp. We let Tammy know and the kitchen whipped them up for us. Overall, the food was delicious and the service was great! Thanks Fridays!!!

Ribs were excellent. Server was very friendly. They were very short staffed so it took a very long time for the food, to get service and to pay the bill, and when the fries were cold and were sent back they were not replaced. The review would have been lower if the ribs had not tasted as good. Went back two days later and before a host arrived to seat us, a couple in the bar told us that they had been waiting 20 minutes and had not seen anyone. They apparently had one staff member who had to cover the whole restaurant who had to cover over 10 tables. We waited 5 minutes and no host showed up to seat us. So we left. Unfortunate since the food last time was good. Others in the restaurant who had been seated walked out of the restaurant as well.

My waiter was very nice and helpful we came on 9-16-23 all or food was good me and my co-workers was the first there and they treated us special...thanks for the good service

Very very poor service and not of the best food. Food was very bland. Angela our server failed in many areas. She is one of those that attempts to be nice (barely but more-so) at the very last moment in order to increase tips. She did not bring silverware, left drink cups empty, never brought refill as requested and for the most part was no-where to be found. The best service we got was when food was brought by I who assume was the cook or a runner. We are locals here and won't eat there ever again. Seems near double pricing than what it was just last year, above the inflation we have seen. Left a small tip, though she did nothing.

Service was good, but the food was average at best. Lacked flavor and the ribs and wings tasted freezer burnt. Should have known since the parking lot was empty.

Service was average, food quality and time.it took to get it was Horrible. Took 50 minutes to get 1 chicken fajitas, 1 Cajun shrimp & chicken pasta, and 1 bacon cheeseburger. Burger was ordered med well this is how it turned out. Fry was overcooked to the point that if you squeezed one it would just break into a billion tiny pieces . Rice was dry. It was just awful. Also, they weren't even busy!!! Maybe had people seated at 5 tables.

Service was amazing... The food was to die for. The cook (kal) came out to make sure we were happy with our meal. Very friendly and professional. We will definitely be back!!

Sat in the bar area forever with no service. Had to walk outside and find the hostess playing on her phone and ask for service. The bartender had an attitude and said she wouldn’t wait on us. Finally we sat in another section. The new waitress was good but the sesame chicken was over cooked. I hate to leave negative reviews but this restaurant is sub par. Chinese restaurant
If you're on the hunt for delicious Chinese cuisine, look no further than Lucky Panda! This gem offers a mouthwatering array of dishes, including shrimp in garlic sauce, sweet and sour chicken, General Tso's chicken, and more. The portion sizes are generous without compromising on flavor—each bite is a delight! Whether you choose to dine in or opt for takeout, you'll find the atmosphere welcoming with friendly staff who ensure your order is just right every time.
Since moving to Murrells Inlet, we get food from here every other week, it's that good! The staff is so warm and friendly and we alway get what we order, never a mix up! You'll enjoy the fresh cooked meals from here... enjoy! There are some good vegetarian options. We love their vegetable bean curd (tofu) soup, vegetable fried rice and their veggie egg rolls.

We debated ordering an order of shrimp fried rice off the menu vs. pork fried rice - $.50 difference. We decided to do a combo which is 1/2 meat and 1/2 fried rice so a 1/3 amount of rice we would have normally received. They charged us a $3.00 up charge to change it to shrimp even after explaining how unfair it was, we were told owner decision, owner not here, TS… very disappointed.. UPDATE: Got our food and even after paying the $3.00 up charge we were still given pork fried rice. What a terrible restaurant experience with so many available options. Photo shows 0 shrimp and pork instead. UPDATE 2: called in and politely explained the situation. Told not there fault, no credit could / would be issued, again owner decision who wasn’t in. If we wanted to drive 40 minutes round trip at our expense they would give us a small order of shrimp rice. Just wow! How terrible

Lucky Panda has really good Chinese food. We got the shimp in garlic sauce, sweet and sour chicken, general tso's chicken, Pork with broccoli, chichen with broccoli , crab rangoons, and chow mein with noodles. Portion size extremely reasonable. The flavor was really, really good. The hot mustard and sweet and sour sauce are good too. There are tables inside if you want to dine in. We did take out. The lunch special portion is extremely generous too.

This restaurant is a godsend. The lemon chicken looks, smells and tastes like utter perfection. It comes with perfectly cooked white rice and a lemon sauce with actual lemon. I would give this place more stars if I could.

This is my go-to for consistently delicious Chinese food. Me and my mom love everything we’ve tried from here and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend!

My wife picked up General Tso's chicken for our dinner. Horrible. Chicken did not have much of the seasoning typical with General Tso's. The chicken was almost cold as if it had been prepared way before we ordered it. Other reviews have said the chicken was tough. Absolutely correct. Some have complained about the lack of broccoli. Mine had 3 pieces of overcooked broccoli. I will not order from there again.

I placed an order to go, the front girl was so friendly and knowledgeable. She was taking care of the window, the phones and customers that were coming in. Super spectacular to watch her work.
