National park
Nature & Parks
Hiking area
Apollonia National Park is a coastal parkland with a rich historical background, featuring the remains of a Roman villa, a fortress, and Byzantine glass kilns. The park offers upgraded walking paths and stunning coastal cliff views along Apollonia beach, providing visitors with the opportunity to admire ancient ruins while enjoying the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean. This hidden gem is located just minutes from Tel Aviv and guarantees an experience fit for royalty.
One of the most beautiful places in Israel, a short 20 minutes drive from Tel Aviv. Easy had shaded parking, cheap entrance ticket, and accessibility impeccable. The kids loved it, it was not packed with tourists (we were there on Saturday) , and the view... Not enough words to describe it. I have lived in Israel for 14+ years and was stunned.
Elke A — Google review
This park is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a leisurely walk. In my opinion, it’s one of the most stunning spots along the Mediterranean coast of Israel, perched on breathtaking cliffs. The views of the coastline literally take your breath away. The park is thoughtfully designed, with walking paths that make it easy for groups to explore without getting in each other’s way. The paths are also very stroller- and wheelchair-friendly, which is a big plus. The history of this place is fascinating. When you enter, you receive a park map with your tickets, giving a clear and concise overview of its story. At the archaeological sites, there are signs with information presented in a way that’s easy to understand for both adults and kids. You can even scan a QR code to listen to a podcast that brings the history of the site to life. There are picnic tables at the entrance and in the middle of the park, perfect for taking a break and enjoying a snack. At the entrance, there’s also a small kiosk offering drinks, ice cream, and souvenirs. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained, which is always appreciated. And the parking is just a few steps from the entrance, making it incredibly convenient. All in all, this park is a wonderful place to spend a few hours, enjoy the scenery, and soak in both nature and history.
Ilona T — Google review
Definitely a must-see attraction in the Herzliya area. Plenty of ancient history, beautiful views from the top, woven in some fun activities for the kids but enjoyable for adults too. Catapult demonstration is kind of interesting. Lots of different walking paths to spend time on different paths. Plenty of shaded spots with tables for picnics, water fountains, and restrooms as well. Entrance fee is reasonable and the sunsets are amazing. Access via foot path is not bad, walked up from the city center (Acadia beach) via the trail/community roads along the coastline.
Victor W — Google review
This is a beautiful place and a massive piece of history. Apollonia has a great history from the Persian period, it changed its name several times after conquering and it was finally destroyed by the Mamluks. It’s pleasant to walk because the view is stunning. Get ready for at least a couple of hours there
Nikita N — Google review
Very nice view, great convinient touring, close to the center. Clean restrooms. Nice sitting area.
Tzahi O — Google review
A great place to spend a couple of hours. Can’t go wrong with fascinating tales about ancient history and being at the actual story location. Entry is ₪22 per adult. Not too bad for seeing actual ancient ruins. They offer guided tours (I believe at 11:30), but we got there too early for that. The grounds are kept clean and tidy. They have actors role playing. Cute. The only thing that I could complain about was that they don’t offer vegan food or drink options and the gift shop isn’t very imaginative. Also, I wish they’d have more shaded seating areas. It’s a place to be reached by vehicle only. I wouldn’t attempt walking to Apollonia. It’s a crusade. The site is located next to a real nice beach, so bring your bathing suit.
Yaron F — Google review
A well designed and maintained national park with ruins of a crusader fort and sea port. The various archaeological relics, some dating back to the Phoenicians, are accompanied by informative plaques. The site offers beautiful views of the coast and sea as well as local animal and plant wildlife.
Eran T — Google review
Very nice, well-kept and maintained place, large free parking, paved and paved paths between the historic sites, there are seating and rest areas, training points all around. A historical site from the time of the Crusaders and Muslims, in place of signage that explains and describes the history of the place.

Park
Nature & Parks
Herzliya Park is a vast 180-acre green space located in the heart of the city. It features expansive lawns, barbecue spots, a stage with a natural amphitheater, and serene duck ponds. The park has been designed to preserve and enhance the natural environment while providing recreational activities and popular sports facilities. Visitors can enjoy walking paths, biking trails that connect to other paths in the area, a mountain bike track, and dedicated running paths.
Big, beautiful and well maintained park with lots of attractions. Ugh and vast loans. Kids can spend hours on here. The only downside is that you cannot do barbecue. The photos are self-explanatory
Aviv G — Google review
A lovely place, I go jogging there daily. It has special paved paths and other facilities both for sportsmen and just walkers. So many activities and meetings are there in the evenings. Has drinking fountains and a restroom too. Toda raba for this lovely park.
Раиса М — Google review
A beautiful park, not too big and not too small, two cafeterias, ponds with birds, a place for dogs walking, wonderful children's and sports grounds, a cycle path, a jogging track, a barbecue place, a children's train on weekends, picnic tables. 4 stars for lack of shelter from the sun.
Evgenia O — Google review
My kids really like this place. There are many different areas: cool (and very extreme) playground, bikes hill, bikes path, lake, kids train, 3 caffe places etc. a lot of parking places but be aware you need to pay also on weekends.
Nitzan H — Google review
Grate place for family picnic, tables and a save place to put your picnic. Leak with fish and docks, clean bathroom and water. The place is very clean and well maintained. Parking is available (bot not free till night).
Yosef D — Google review
Great park in the big city. There is an artificial lake with ducks and fishes. Kids likes it! Sitting spots near the lake to calm down after a long day. Dedicated area for BBQ with toilets and clean water. Multiple playgrounds for babies, toddlers abd bigger kids - Omega, swings and slides of all kinds! Also has a coffee shop, a winter puddle with birds observation cabins..
Rotem R — Google review
Beautiful park that's great to hang/laze/ride/walk and work out. It's pleasant during the day even if there can be a lot of people, and it is well lit at night, so not dodgy at all. There's a café, a dog park, plenty of bike lanes and places to work out and some spots for kids too. Some parts of the park are very pittoresque and also left to their natural state.
Ananas — Google review
This is my favourite spot in Herzliya Park. It's so peaceful, just love it. The trees are awesome. It's the northest part of the park, relatively secluded. It does get busy but it's mostly quite, depending on visiting hours of course as Parker is just there.

The Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art is a small yet exceptional institution that primarily showcases original Israeli artwork. Its consistently high-quality exhibitions are curated in a clever and creative manner, attracting visitors who appreciate art at its finest. Unlike crowded museums, this hidden gem offers an appealing experience at a human scale. The museum's interesting building design reminiscent of Louis Kahn adds to its allure.
Great exhibition on illustration, from the early days of children books till the modern creators of current days. Go go go
Ran T — Google review
A hidden gem for modern art lovers. The exhibitions are always fresh and thought-provoking, often featuring both Israeli and international artists. The space is minimalistic but very well-curated. I liked that the museum doesn’t feel crowded — you can take your time and really connect with the art. Perfect for a calm afternoon.

Marina
Nature & Parks
Marina Herzliya is more than just a marina for yachts; it's a vibrant hub of activity. Visitors can enjoy leisurely walks by the sea, live concerts, and various sports activities. The area offers plenty of relaxation opportunities with its assortment of cafes, restaurants, shops, and even children's water slides. On weekends, a lively fair takes place at the marina where unique souvenirs can be found.
The place is beautiful, clean and tidy. There is a beautiful viewpoint with a walk on the breakwater, and you can look north at Netanya and south at the Redding power station. There is a large variety of restaurants in the area where you can sit and watch the boats/yachts in the harbor. There are three parking lots, two large - one outside and two indoors, and a third parking lot right under the dock's apartment buildings.
Arik G — Google review
A lively marina hosting several restaurants and the Arena mall. The mall includes a non stop super, a wax museum, and furniture stores. Short boat trips are available.
Zvi A — Google review
Sea, boats, beach. What's not to love? Swim, surf or sail. Many charters available both sail and powered. Great for strolling - do not miss the 1,400 meter lighthouse pier for a nice walk or jog.
Yehuda G — Google review
Very nice place to walk and watch the sunset. Also has some nice restaurants and a mall right in there. There’s a beach quite close as well. Worth the visit.
Yael C — Google review
We were in the Arena, adjacent to the Marina. Fun exhibition there. Then to marina to eat, nice view of the boats Only 4 stars as poorly signposted, and a long walk to the infrequent bus
Lipa ( — Google review
Visiting the Marina Herzliya never gets boring, especially when it comes to admiring the yachts and clear blue skies on a very hot day in Herzliya. There is a very good selection of cafes and restaurants, and a big shopping centre to check out called Arena.
Dan B — Google review
It is always nice to visit the marina, music, sea, yahts. And a pint of nice ail at local pub. Will make perfect weekend evening.

Shopping
Nestled in the heart of Israel, Seven Stars Mall has been a bustling hub of activity since its inception in 2000. This expansive shopping center spans an impressive 25,000 square meters and attracts thousands of visitors each year with its diverse array of shops, entertainment options, and dining experiences. Whether you're looking to update your wardrobe with high-end brands or simply enjoy a day out with family and friends, this mall has something for everyone.
Big mall , nice fish pool at the entrance , place is full of retired people spending their time with their care givers. Place has Aroma cafe
Leon M — Google review
Quaint shops.. the one I was looking for H&O was not available however I did find some cute hoodies … service wise there is no sense of urgency… time is taken with one person for as long as it takes to solve their issue leaving behind long queues at check out.
Nana T — Google review
Spacious Mall with lots of shops and some restaurants and cafés. However, most of these restaurants are fast food. In Israel, Malls love having soft play areas. So it has one too. There is even a gym on the second floor. The subterranean parking lot is spacious with three levels but sometimes, the highest level is completely full, so you'll have to go to the lower levels. The mall is really close to Herzelia park so there's somewhere nice to go to after shopping and dining.
Dean F — Google review
One of the few malls open on shabbat and holidays in Israel. It has a big parking lot which is really nice. Most of the shops are there, like in all other malls. They have a home center shop which is good. They also have a bowling alley and a game zone for kids and children. Nice place to go for weekends and spend quality time with family and friends. There is also a big park opposite the mall which has a huge play area and jimboree for kids.
Anuj K — Google review
This mall needs renovation urgently. Most employees are rude, checking their phones, ignoring you or making you uncomfortable. The supermarket inside is awful as well. Coffee places and food court are not welcoming.
Charlotte R — Google review
In all the years I never realised what a great mall this is. It's spacious and well laid out and crammed with shops, and not crowded.

This mosque, named after a soldier from Saladin's army who met his fate on this very hill during battles against the Crusaders in 1250, stands as a poignant reminder of its rich past. Overlooking Herzliya Marina, it serves not only as a place of worship but also as a serene escape from urban life.
An amazing and historic mosque — full of spirituality and peaceful vibes. It’s one of the oldest and most beautiful mosques, with a fascinating story behind it and the best view you can find anywhere. Highly recommended to visit!

A Beautiful mosque, the only one left on the shore between Jaffa and Acre. By the mosque there is a very nice boardwalk and down the cliff you'll find a quite and clean beach.

This is a religious pilgrimage site for Muslims. You can enter and view the mosque if you are a non-Muslim but you must be dressed in a modest way (both genders.) It is not recommended to visit on Fridays or Muslim holidays if you are a non-Muslim.

A mosque for Muslims. Inside the premises of the mosque buried an Islamic scholar– Ali ben Elem, from the dynasty of the 2nd Caliph Omar ben Al-Khatab. Next to the mosque there is an Islamic cemetry. Prayers are held daily in the mosque and Jumaa (Friday) prayer in particular. They have toilets and shower rooms.

Beautiful and massive park surrounded by the busy city of Tel-Aviv. There are lot of ponds and river going through the park with very beautiful birds. There are also playgrounds for kids and good running and cycling tracks for people who want to stay active. There are jackals running around in the park. You can hear them howl in packs. Really awesome. There also possible to take a balloon trip up above the park.

A nicely sized and conveniently located park. A great location to get away from the city within the city. You can relax on the grass, free your dog in one of several dog parks or play in the playgrounds. Those inclined to do fitness will find many resources as well as some good running routes.

Acadia Beach, located in Herzliya, is a popular and expansive sandy beach offering various amenities such as chair and umbrella rentals, showers, and food stands. The long stretch of white sandy beaches from the marina to the Apollonia National Park is a major attraction in Herzliya. It provides ample space for visitors compared to other crowded beaches nearby. The beach offers stunning views of cliffs to the north and upscale hotels to the south.
First beach I went to in the area and I don’t think it can be topped. Beautiful! Not very crowded, nice wave breaks views of the cliffs to the north and fancy hotels to the south. Very relaxing, 10NIS for chairs and umbrellas, bathrooms and beachside cafe close by. Nice shade structures.
Nicole R — Google review
It's a quiet beach with a wide sand area and a few bars around it. The water becomes deep fast, and the last time, there was a lot of plastic trash, plastic pieces, and particles in the water. In general, it did not seem clean at all. The beach showers were messed up, the pressure was extremely strong, and some of them weren't working.
Kris T — Google review

Tel Aviv Port, also known as Namal, is a vibrant entertainment district featuring trendy shops, restaurants, and clubs along a scenic seafront promenade. The area is easily accessible from centrally located hotels like Dan Tel Aviv and Dan Panorama Tel Aviv. Nearby attractions include Dizengoff Street, Jaffa's charming old town, the renowned Carmel Market, and Neve Tzedek neighborhood.
Magnificent, especially for its unforgettable sunsets. The area is full of restaurants, cafes, bars, and eateries of all kinds. It also regularly hosts exhibitions, such as illuminated sculptures or works of art illuminated at night. The walk is definitely worth the detour. Just take a look at the photos.

Overpriced, overcrowded on shore mall. After 20:00 one can find parking at flat price 30NIS. Until 5:00. It's really worth it, because nearby parking lots expensive as hell. Fighting for spot can be long-time waiting and not quite politing. Be advised. Both on entrance and exit line of desperately seeking drivers.

Nice large waterfront area with "bumps" that are fun to bike/scoot around, a carousel, smooth rocks for playing around or sitting on. There is a kid's sandpit but it also seems to be used as a dog's bathroom. Great view of the sea. There's a very large kid's playground and an exercise area and restrooms.

Very nice place to hang out with the family. A lot of places to eat, there are playgrounds for the kids, many ice cream places and other food. The promenade is great and allows uninterrupted view of the sea. There is also a breakwater that can be traveled for better view. There are 2 playgrounds- for toddlers and bigger kids and another place with fountains. The only issues are lack of shade and parking.

There are restaurants, bars, shops and activities for the children. Ideal place to chill. Unfortunatelly no public toilets.

Eretz Israel Museum in Tel Aviv is a vast indoor and outdoor museum showcasing the rich history and culture of Israel. The museum features diverse exhibits on Israeli society, including archaeology, ethnography, applied art, and photography. Spanning 20 acres with about 15 buildings and installations, it offers a contemporary perspective on various cultural aspects. Additionally, the museum houses a planetarium where visitors can stargaze like Galileo did through his telescope.
The Museum consists of open-air and indoor parts (pavilions). The Eretz Israel Museum in Tel Aviv is a fascinating museum that tells the story of the land of Israel from its earliest days to the present. There are so many exciting pavilions: Kadman Numismatic Pavilion, Alexander Museum of Postal history and Philately, Ceramics Pavilion, Glass Pavilion, Man and his work Pavilion, and more and more. No words are enough to express unforgettable impressions. Start with the glass pavilion, which doesn’t look like much from the outside but is beautifully renovated inside. Then head to the ceramic pavilion, the fascinating (if you’re into history) coins pavilion, and the new exhibit on Baron Rothschild. Museum contains historical exhibitions mixed with contemporary art. Historical exhibitions are pretty old, was renovated a long time ago. A very impressive collection of contemporary art and design, exploring personal and social impact of modern life and consumerism on ourselves and on our environment.highly recommended to visit.

A huge area out side. The museum is good. There is absolutely no service, we went to a cafe on the territory. They refused to put us in a cafe, while people came after us and sat down at this place without questions. The museum is not only an exhibition, but also an additional service. I still didn't understand what their museum store is the best. This information is on the website. A very small book department. Most souvenirs are not about the museum at all, they can be bought in a regular store.

This is my first time and it was wow! It is a must visit if you want to know what Israel look like before the great building. You could also check some biblical truths there like the story of Samson in the Bible.

Loved it! The kids workshops are the best look for them during festivals. Make sure you register in advance! Parking likely to be an issue try to arrive in public transport if you can. Some exhibitions could be a little more interesting and interactive.

Then head to the ceramic pavilion, the fascinating (if you’re into history) coins pavilion, and the new exhibit on Baron Rothschild. Not all the pavilions are open (a sign that they’re doing necessary renovations) but still definitely worthwhile. The amount of artifacts and texts can be overwhelming, but those who are claiming there’s nothing to see here are way off. Finally, the cafe beside the ancient mosaics is lovely. You can order takeaway and bring it to the tables on the grass...

For Archeology lovers I can't think about any other place where you can understand the name of the city Tel Aviv. Coming to the museum you may follow the instructions if the map you receive. Like that you will not get lost, or miss some of the buildings. I did the first time, trying to get first to the Tel Qasile. Fürst settled by the Philistines in the 12 cent. Which brings us to the story if the Exodus and the Hebrew Bible (OT) but it was only the beginning of a line if settlements. Four shrines, public buildings...It is hard to understand what belonged to what, and when. But is it really important. For me it is more that I walk through history. Biblical Archeology and... People lived here, build here and still building. The contrast can't be more amazing, looking over the ruins towards the New City Tel Aviv. The name comes from the book Old Land-New Land. Well here it is the old tell and the new City. Aviv in hebrew spring. A symbol for fresh, young, new. Wine press, olive press, flour mill, traditional work tools...all this we see all over the country on different places. But it is most not complete. So nice to see it in working condition to be able to understand archeological sites. Coins, postal service, some modern art. Enough information but not overwhelmed by to much. I like the place. Also that there is a need to step out of the building to reach the next place. If you have enough time, I think it is nice to visit the museum. Easy to reach with the public bus.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at this fish and seafood restaurant. The fish was beautifully cooked and the mussels were very tasty. We also had a great tomato salad and a fresh finely chopped vegetable salad. Everything was tasty and well presented. Nothing spectacular, just the basics done well. The service was very friendly and helpful. It's a great place for lunch.

One of the best sea food restaurants I’ve ever been to. All of the waiters were absolutely amazing, very welcoming. The food is fresh and delicious, had to go back again asap! The menu is very versatile, there’s quite a lot to choose from. Overall it’s a great place for an evening dinner date!

I was here with a few friends for dinner, celebrating a birthday. Overall the decoration of the restaurant is quite lovely and elegant. The service was inconsistent. Sometimes we were asked many times if we need anything and on other times, it took a while to get one of the waiters to notice us and ask what we need. The food was OK but some of the sauces and salads were the same between different dishes plus, as we had one person who doesn’t eat spicy food and one doesn’t eat coriander. We asked in advance regarding the two things and still got dishes that had coriander and chili, so that was a bit disappointing because we couldn’t eat the entire dish. Summing it up, it was ok, but we will probably not be back as there are many seafood restaurants in TLV that we find are better.

I personally do not eat seafood, so I cannot attest to the quality of the shrimp, calamari, mussels, etc. I do however eat fish and I can wholeheartedly say that this is great fish restaurant! The restaurant itself is located fairly centrally in herzeliya, and you can get your parking validated by the restaurant. If you park in the building or in terms of food and service everything is great! I think that my favorite dish serve was the eggplant carpaccio, but the sashimi comes in a close second as well as the tabouli salad and you can get your parking validated by the restaurant. If you park in the building or in terms of food and service everything was great! I think that my favorite dish served was the eggplant carpaccio, but the sashimi comes in a close second as well as the tabouli salad. I took the fish kebab as my main dish which was great, but I was already so full that I couldn’t finish it. Desserts were also great large portions, and the Malabi was the best of the bunch. Prices are reasonable for a fancy restaurant such as this.

The atmosphere at Lola Martin is warm and inviting, with a cozy and intimate setting that's perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. The service is top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always happy to recommend dishes and answer any questions you might have. Now, let's talk about the food. The seafood at Lola Martin is simply outstanding. The menu features a wide variety of dishes, from classic favorites like grilled octopus and seafood paella, to more inventive creations like sea bass tartare and salmon carpaccio. Everything is beautifully presented and prepared to perfection, with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients. One standout dish is the grilled sea bream, which is cooked to perfection and served with a side of roasted vegetables. The fish is perfectly seasoned and has a wonderful smoky flavor that pairs perfectly with the sweet and savory vegetables. Another must-try dish is the shrimp and calamari risotto, which is creamy and flavorful with just the right amount of bite from the seafood. The dish is beautifully presented and will leave you feeling satisfied and happy. Overall, I can't recommend Lola Martin enough. From the warm and inviting atmosphere to the outstanding seafood dishes, this is truly one of Herzilia's hidden gems. Live music venue
Zappa Herzliya is a vibrant music venue nestled in the industrial area, known for its eclectic mix of Israeli and international artists. This lively spot not only offers an inviting atmosphere with ample seating and a long bar but also serves up a delicious non-dairy menu featuring starters, salads, pastas, meats, and desserts. The venue is designed to enhance your experience with intimate performances that allow you to connect closely with the artists on stage.
We went to David Broza. You get really intimate performances. As part of the audience, you do connect with the people on stage. The sound is perfect. When there is seating, the food is excellent and the waiters (young people) are just so cute and want to help in any way. The vegetarian and vegan options, I understood from my friend with whom I went, are also very good. I really recommend this place. Oh...and parking is very easy - either across the road, or in the underground parking. Suggestion for IMPROVEMENT: There could be better signage from the parking and in the mall to where Zappa is. We were a few people lost together. But...in 5 mins we found it.

Zappa is the place for live music, a mixture of a restorant, bar and live music, zappa Herzelia is quite packed, you have no space to move its all sitting and if you are a couple you will be sitted with another couple at the same table to make sure every space is used. The food is reasonable, I wouldn't count on it as a restorant, more like a bar with food, the main event here is the music If the food level been elevated I would have given it 4 stars but based on the cost vs value I have to give it a 3 The music is irrelevant to the place as it is relevant to the performance These pictures are taken from a Mush Ben ari show which was excellent!

Picolonia City is a delightful mini-town designed specifically for children, allowing them to immerse themselves in the adult world through imaginative play. Aimed at kids aged 4-9, this charming children's museum offers various pavilions where little ones can role-play and explore different professions and activities that spark their creativity. While weekends and holidays can get quite busy—leading to some toy-sharing squabbles—the experience remains enriching as children learn about their surroundings in a fun environment.
An awesome play room for ages 0-9 with many diff corners with diff themes (supermarket, barber shop, diner etc). Also a corner for under 3 years olds. Highly entertaining for kids also a small cafeteria and seating area for parents. Great way to pass a few hours....

For kids, this place is amazing, for <1.5hrs. As a grownup, it's hard not to notice the wear and tear of basically everything. Nothing is whole. Bottom line, can't say it's worth the price (but I guess kids don't pay so they don't care). Staff is very friendly.

The kids had fun, but the place was overcrowded, toys broken, and not maintained. The advertising shows a new and shiny place, but not representing the current state of the facilities. Owners, please see this as constructive criticism because the place has potential, but it lacks love and maintenance.

The place is nice, but it is terribly crowded today, they should definitely limit the entrance. So overcrowded tha the children push each other, really not safe for toddlers. Some sites is impossible to approach because of the amount of children. The noise is unbelievable here. Don't think I ever come again.

My baby boy had the most fun there but as a parent some things need to be improved : - entry fee should be lower - limit the number of entrance so it won’t be so crowded - maintain and replace broken toys / refresh (old look) - needs to offer some food options

Reseanble place with fine toys for kids but low maintenance and no guidance or responsible person to put things back in place make it less fun. Allowing parents to go around with dirty shoes where the kids play without shoes make the place filthy.

Wonderful space area for children. It's a small city. Can be crowded on weekends and holidays and then all the fun is gone because children might fight over toys and I really think that on know crowded days there should be some limit hours because the entrance is expensive, so at least some audience can benefit from this space some good quality hours

The ANU Museum of the Jewish People is a heritage museum tracing the history of the Jewish people from antiquity to the present day. The museum is situated in Ramat Aviv, a northern Tel Aviv suburb and is popular with Jews from all over the world. Permanent displays take visitors through history, introducing them to important Jewish figures. The museum also conducts educational programs to teach about Judaism.
I highly recommend going to this well-invested museum. Also suitable for children but aged 10+. There are many interactive displays to connect visitors to Jewish history. Includes original items from history. You can spend a good few hours in the museum. There is parking nearby.

The museum is modern, interactive, and really fun to explore. It makes the Jewish story come alive in a way that’s interesting for both Jews and non-Jews. The exhibitions show the history, culture, and traditions of Jewish life in a clear and engaging way. They also explain the struggles Jews have faced over time while showing how they managed to keep their unique identity and traditions. What I loved most was how interactive everything is. You don’t just look at displays, you actually feel part of the journey. It’s educational without ever feeling heavy, and it leaves you with a deeper understanding of the Jewish people and their story. I highly recommend the ANU Museum to anyone visiting Tel Aviv. Don’t miss the guided tour! It’s inspiring, eye-opening, and a place you won’t forget.

A Wonderful and Meaningful Family Day Out As a family living in Israel, we have fond memories of visiting the old Beit Hatfutsot over the years. This October, we finally took our four children to experience the newly reimagined ANU Museum, and we were so glad we did. The day was made truly exceptional by our guide, the wonderful Henya. Navigating any museum with a crew of four kids can be a challenge, but Henya was simply magical. She has an incredible gift for storytelling, bringing history to life in a way that captivated everyone, from our youngest to our oldest. She didn't just recite facts; she wove a vibrant and personal narrative of the Jewish people, expertly guiding us to the exhibits she knew would spark their curiosity. Her passion was infectious, and she connected with each of our children, making them feel like they were on a grand adventure through time. The new museum is undeniably impressive—a state-of-the-art institution perfectly tailored for today's generation. The interactive displays and modern technology are fantastic and kept the kids completely engaged. And yet, for those of us who grew up wandering the halls of the former Beit Hatfutsot, there's a faint whisper of nostalgia for what was. While the sleek screens are brilliant, a small part of me missed the quiet, handcrafted magic of the old dioramas that sparked the imagination in a different way. However, this is a minor reflection, not a criticism. The ANU Museum has brilliantly succeeded in its mission to evolve, telling our collective story with a vital and global perspective. We left feeling reconnected and deeply proud of our shared heritage, and it sparked so many important conversations on the car ride home. For a meaningful family experience, I highly recommend a visit. If you can, ask for Henya—she will make your day truly unforgettable.
David Z — Google review
This museum tells about the history and partly the culture of the Jews, and from different angles (music, cinema, theater, religion) and from different times. We can say that here you can see and read everything you would like to know about the Jews. Very interesting exhibits and their descriptions. Some look like full-fledged small rooms filled with "what the museum wants to show you." It was an interesting experience. P.S.: The museum is located on the territory of the "university campus", to get into it, you need to go through the checkpoint, and not look on the map for a direct entrance to the museum from the street.
Alexandr O — Google review
Pretty great museum. I'd suggest starting from the top floor, and then gradually enjoy exhibition while going down. The museum is interactive, so will be great of you plan visiting with kids. The exhibition is built like in clasters, so, it'll be ideal for guided tours.

It is particularly appealing to teenagers with its white-knuckle rides and attractions like dodgem cars, the Anaconda roller coaster, rifle range, and the iconic Ferris Wheel providing stunning city views. The park is family-friendly and located near Park HaYarkon.
Very nice for kids and parents too. Advice take food with you, it's a little bit expensive there. A lot of attractions. Rest rooms and cool water all over the place. Places to have dinner, tables or grass. Do not take the car, go by train it's a 5 minute walk from Tel-Aviv university.

Hardly world class in size, but has diverse set of high quality rides, ghost train is pitiful but mostly good stuff. We went there with our three kids (9, 8, and 3) and had a fantastic time! It’s a lovely little amusement park with lots of rides for all ages. Everything is super clean and well maintained. No queues in the morning and late evening. The little train was not in service. For tourists who don't read hebrew beware that nothing is written in English. Only thing — the staff could be a bit more friendly and playful, which would make the experience even better. They only take care of opening the doors and security on the ride, a smile would not hurt. Overall great experience.

This place is amazing. It has a lot of attraction to have fun in. A really great selection and variety of rides for kids of all ages, and they are nicely arranged that larger families can all stay together as young and old go on the rides they want. Lots of fun for the kids, yet it is a bit overpriced - 135₪ per person. make sure your kids are above 120cm at the very least or they won't be able to enjoy a lot of the rides. This place consists of slow & calm facilities and some more extreme ones. So this place fits to anybody.🥰🥰

It is a nice mid-size park with many attractions. Most of the are all about spinning you... There is a list of required heights and all attractions are divided into 3 main categories. To fully enjoy the place a kid should be at least 130cm high. But there are many attractions that 100-120cm can enjoy with an adult. Food is not so tasty and very expensive. You can bring in food with you... Eventually, kids and adults will have fun 🎢

A lot of activities, price of 145 which i would say is worth it if you take a ride on everything they have. The lines are very long on vacation days so it's not really possible to try everything. Would still recommend
Enoch L — Google review
Its a bit pricy but still one of the best places to visit with the family or with the friends.. we had lot of fun with our friends and the kids. I would give it a five star rating if it was a bit cheaper.. check before you go if they are open.. they are not open everyday .

Shopping mall
Shopping
The Arena shopping mall, situated on the Herzliya Marina with a beautiful view of the sea, offers a wide selection of restaurants and a typical range of retail stores. Drawing inspiration from the charming streets and piazzas of Italy, this mall presents over 100 shops encompassing fashion chains, jewelry, sportswear, footwear, and more. For convenience, parking is available with the first hour being free and subsequent hours charged at 16ils.
Saw the amazing Van Gogh exhibit. Had a great dinner in Bistro 56.

We went to the "Salvador Dali exhibition". The exhibition was very nice and interesting, well organized with lot of paintings and some sculptures. The VR experience was very cool, and they had an option of ordering art works to buy. Overall it was very nice.
Edgar A — Google review
There’s nothing worthwhile. Many Shops have closed long ago and the place is trying to find an identity. Although there’s a very good supermarket open 7 days a week till 10pm. There are some coffees and restaurants but all high street and very ordinary
Aline A — Google review
Just another shopping mall, in my opinion there's nothing new here. Fashion shops, electronics, coffee shops, restaurants and few other boutique shops. As far as I know there is usually spacial performances during weekends and the holidays, for some reason, we have been here for a good few hours and have not seen anything spacial, just another mall other than the fact its located next to the marina ⛵. If you aren't looking for good views then I'd recommend to go elsewhere.
Zvi L — Google review
The usual normal shopping mall that is slightly bigger that average ones in size. You can find here different shops, several points of food and drinks. In general, you can come to do some shopping here.
Alexandr O — Google review
Unfortunately its almost a dead mall. Only best thing is the great location at the marina.
Almog I — Google review
Very nice, quiet and clean. All toilets were well cleaned and maintained. The mall seemed pretty empty though and many stores were closed or shut down.
Baruch A — Google review
A big fun area, the mall now offers many furniture stores and a new gaming center and a ninja obstacle course

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Tel Aviv, the North Market (Shuk HaTzafon) is a delightful covered marketplace that brings together an eclectic mix of small eateries and stalls. Open every day of the week on Wallenburg Street, this market mirrors the popular Tel Aviv Port Market with its commitment to fresh, high-quality local produce.
A great small food market. Wide range of different food options. High quality, fast service and air con included. Prices are a bit expensive. Not too many sites, so in rush hour you might find yourself eating outside or taking back to the office. Enjoy :)

I enjoyed the Japanese lunch at Yapani. I was surprised to find that they make (on the premise) fresh Onigiri. Especially i liked the pickled Matias (מטיאס כבוש). The Macha (Japanese green tea) ice cream was delicious. Highly recommended!

Just a few fast food left. Most restrooms are not operational. Broken windows.

Beach
Tel Baruch Beach, located slightly south of the Cliff Beach in Tel Aviv, has undergone thoughtful upgrades over the years. It features a promenade and a bridge that leads to the Tel Aviv Port. The beach is well-maintained and popular with locals for its stunning shoreline, pristine sand, clear blue waters, and breakwaters that soften the waves. Visitors can enjoy amenities such as a restaurant, al fresco gym, showers, and ample parking.
pretty supervised and equipped beach. The prices for the installations are very affordable. Mainly Israeli attendance which is a change from the central beach.
Stephane S — Google review
Quite a great place. This beach 🏝️ looks like a lagoon, most of the time the sea 🌊 is calm and pleasant. But, of course there are periods when you get high waves and stormy 🌊 sea. However, it’s much easier to find a place with comfortable distance from the others, which is not likely for most of the beaches in Tel Aviv. Clean beach. Another huge PLUS ➕is enormous parking 🅿️ lot with one-time 25 ₪ payment only - nothing like that in whole Tel Aviv. The big minus ➖ is the “food infrastructure” - only one takeaway cafe 🍽️ option with poor service and big lines. The cafe (on the pictures) doesn’t provide simple things - holders for those who buy takeaway coffee ☕️ (more than one), NO cup covers at all. When you ask: “How do I bring coffee and food to my place?”, they answer: “It’s not our problem”. In addition to that coffee is awful! No service orientation! Hopefully, will change
Gideon P — Google review
my favourite beach in Tel Aviv! very clean and not too crowded during the week🙂‍↔️
Магдалина К — Google review
This is a nice and quite place. At least in the middle of the week. There is plenty of parking on the beach but it costs money. The atmosphere is good and you can order food and drinks. The food is quite fresh and decent. The Thina is really good. The Hummus is also not bad. Generally the food is decent and fresh. The service of the waiters is bad. It's seems like they are doing a favoir for servicing you. They forget that it is actually their job. We asked for drinks from the waiter and it happened that as he brought the drinks we asked for more drinks. So he told us: "can't you order everything at once?". That was quite surprising from someone getting salary for servicing people.
Guy B — Google review
Large expansive parking lot. Part of the Israel National Trail with the shoreline extending infinitely to the north and south. Quite crowded with lots of people cooking, grilling, picnicking, playing volleyball, paddleball etc.
Victor W — Google review
We go to this beach because it's close to our home. It is clean and fun- but seriously, it's the beach, how can it not be fun?? The price for parking is too high, I suggest you avoid going on Saturdays, as of noon it is too crowded. If you go early morning or later in the afternoon, you can enjoy the beach 100%, and in the evenings you get a great sunset.
Yael E — Google review
Tel Baruch Beach is a great place to bring the family. They have an open seating area for picnics. Parking is not free.

Very nice beach, there are good facilities there. You can walk from there to TLV port for about 2 km in a very nice promenade. The parking cost too much.

Tel Aviv Port Market, located in Hangar 12 at Namal Port, is a bustling indoor marketplace offering a wide variety of fresh produce, meats, cheese, wine, bread and prepared foods. Situated near Hilton and Metzitzim beaches as well as Park Hayarkon, this upmarket market is a magnet for food enthusiasts. The beautiful building overlooks the port and offers an array of local and international products.
The best variety of food in one spot in Tel Aviv., that's not a supermarket.
Ryan C — Google review
Great place to visit in Tel Aviv. The old port transformed into a great shopping and dining area. On Fridays there is a fantastic market with fresh produce and ready to eat food. Lots of coffee shops and sitting areas in the old port area as well with activities for kids.
Jonathan S — Google review
Great vibe on Fridays. Farmers come and sell their produce. Prices are slightly higher than regular but everything looks nice and fresh. Some of the places offer little tastes to sell their items. Also there’s a good variety of cafes and restaurants around to hang out after shopping. The worst thing here is the car park, you need to spend at least 15 minutes to find a parking spot for your car, so better to go by bike/scooter or bus.
Elif K — Google review
The port of Tel Aviv is a fun area with restaurants, shopping and a farmers market. I like going there but be warned, parking on the weekends is tough

Exhibit
Beautiful presentation and artwork, the exhibits are amazing and the tour is perfect, if you like art or if you're interested in experiencing a very visually stunning display then you should definitely check out the exhibit. P.s. the virtual reality tour through van Gogh's town is very immersive and whilst its not the highlight it really upgrades the tour to a whole new level
Yanay L — Google review
Nice breakfast. I wouldn't suggest try a vegan dish.
Lena B — Google review
A nice exhibit to spend a couple of hours celebrating the life if Vincent Van Gough. Inspiring. The explanations are only in Hebrew and Russian, however. There was no English explanations.
Kenneth H — Google review
Interesting view, but not so good. Firstly there is very impressive the interactive visualisation of pictures, and sound (music) accompaniment. Idea of virtual immersion in the atmosphere of that time in VR is fascinates, but implementations on 4. There was any picture, only visual projection, but it was installation of the room of painter, and it was trading shop where you can buy lot of things with decor of pictures. On exhibition are presented about 40-50 pictures of 2000 his works
Alex Y — Google review
Exceptionally badly planned. Queued for 5 minutes to get pre-purchased tickets - fine. Then we had to wait outside for 45 minutes, to get into the exhibit. The exhibit was fine, nothing astonishing. The VR section was amazing though!
David G — Google review
Waste of time. Bad, low resolution projection quality, the animation is very rapid, gives you no time to process and enjoy the paintings. Had power break during the show. Also not all the staff keeps the masks on. Terribly over priced (and I didn't play the full price for the ticket). Do not go there, spend your money in a proper museum.
Michael S — Google review
I'm sure that there are small letters stating this somewhere so I won't call it a scam, but this is a Van Gogh exhibition, without A SINGLE ORIGINAL DRAWING by the painter. They just project the drawings on the walls. It's basically just a glorified light show.
Yuval C — Google review
There are 2 parts of the exhibition- for the first part they basically printed his Wikipedia page and google images and put that on a wall. The vr was pretty cool but glitchy. I enjoyed it but not sure it's worth the money.

Hiking area
Very pretty small - medium natural park, right above the beach. It has 1 main circular route with lovely observation points and shady picnic areas(don't count on a table though). On the entrance(southern) there a coffee shop that also serves limited food and beverage options - all options look very good.
Alex B — Google review
Beautiful park that is connected via extensive walking trails to the cliffs and other parks. Beautiful views from the cliffs above as well as walking trails to the beach below.
Victor W — Google review
Great easy/medium level family walk for 1-3 hours depending on the trails you take. Doesn’t fit for baby trollies. Excellent views of the beach and if you come at the right time of year (Feb mostly) you can see the crimson Irises blooming. Suggest you bring a little picnic basket and stop at some of the balconies overlooking the Mediterranean or in some shaded bench later on the trail.

Beautiful place between road and sea. Good views over the sea and many flowers. Interesting trees all during 2,5 km walking.
