Visitors can enjoy hiking along the North Side of the Gemelas with breathtaking viewpoints along the way. Little but beautiful hike up the North Side of the Gemelas. View points are well worth the hike up, which took us about 1h30 up and down. We also did the horse hike with the kids and they all loved it. The terrain was very accidented, but the horses handled it great. Our two guides were also very helpful and keen. Thumbs up! 👍

Really Love this place and it has so many activities that you can’t do wrong. It is beautiful, fun and very well priced.
Brandon F — Google review
December 2024 price: 8100 pesos Off-season hours: Thursday - Sunday, 10am-7pm. High-season hours: Every day, early to 9pm. This is the only entrance to reach the trailhead for Cerro Las Gemelas. If you walk to the base from the center of Capilla del Monte, it will take over an hour. From the entrance gates it takes about 30-40 minutes to walk to the base and it is a fairly steep dirt road. If you drive, then it's easy. When you arrive, the owner, Paula, will have you sign a release. You can read it in English or Spanish, but you'll sign the Spanish release. You can also borrow poles.I didn't have a cap so Paula lent me one, as well as a bandana in case I got sweaty. She gives detailed instructions to reach the peak. I found the trail to be fairly easy but there were some harder parts with large stones. I reached the peak in 1.5 hours (descent in one hour). I was all alone up there which was great. You can eat at the restaurant before or after you go up. They have a pretty extensive menu. In January and February they have a swimming pool that you can use (for a fee) and spend the whole day there. It was a really beautiful place. Much better than paying $30 to climb Uritorco. Plus you can get great views of Uritorco from Las Gemelas.

Recreation center
Explore the natural wonders of Paseo Los Mogotes and Paso del Indio in the province of Cordoba. These sites offer breathtaking landscapes, including Los Terrones, El Zapato, Agua de los Palos, and the Ongamira caves. The Indian Pass is a popular trek with stunning views but requires sturdy footwear due to slippery stones. Visitors can relax amidst nature with facilities for grilling and rest. It's recommended to travel light and minimize waste to preserve the environment.
Excellent place for a trek for the day and even better if you go climbing or highlining
Duilio P — Google review
(Translated by Google) Beautiful place to go with family or alone. If you need a taxi to leave, tell the girl and she will call you one. I recommend wearing good footwear if the idea is to climb the Indian Pass, the stones are slippery.
Silvana D — Google review
(Translated by Google) The place is beautiful, the grass is so green that the photos look edited. It has many places to put the grill (you have to bring it, it only has a cement base) and tables with cement seats. It can be accessed by car. It's very quiet. The worst thing is the bathrooms, dirty and without water. Access to the Indian Pass is quite accessible even with children except for climbing the final stone which is very narrow and difficult.
Mauro G — Google review
(Translated by Google) It's a very short but lovely walk. The most interesting part is passing through the Indian Trail. Also, right when you enter the kiosk, there's a small cave you can climb into.
(Translated by Google) You arrive at the touch with the car. They charge you 4 thousand per person (hardly, they didn't charge the child). It's meant for you to carry your grill. It's nice, it's calm and there is a part to get into. There is a store, I ask you to do yourself a favor and don't buy. Take everything! They rip your head off and it's disgusting. That very neglected part The tenth place is worth going to.
Dalila F — Google review
(Translated by Google) The place is beautiful, the price is crazy, and on top of that, they have terrible service, don't accept cards, no solutions, poorly maintained bathrooms, etc. We went in a group and there was no MP, so they didn't give us any solutions, and we spent an hour walking to get there. Their response was to turn around and come back in an hour. They laugh in your face at the horrible service.
Luli C — Google review
(Translated by Google) They charge $1,000 per person. They'll take care of your car, there are restrooms, a grocery store, and a craft market. The place is wonderful, with shade and water. The climb to the Indian Pass isn't too difficult, but you'll need some strength and agility. Not suitable for those with claustrophobia. The view once you're at the top is spectacular. No apto si sufris claustrofobia.
German L — Google review
(Translated by Google) The river resort is about 30 blocks from the center via a dirt road, easily accessible on foot. They charge 300 pesos per person. There isn't much space; the river is very shallow, you can only dip your toes in, making it ideal for children. The place is nice, but it loses all its charm when it gets crowded. Cars park right next to the river, leaving no room to sit and enjoy the scenery. In my experience, I didn't like it—too many people, lots of grill smoke, and noise. They shouldn't allow parking inside the resort area.

El Zapato is a captivating destination that offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding valley, mountains, and a picturesque lake. While the shoe-shaped rock itself may not be as impressive due to its cemented appearance, it serves as an interesting focal point for photos. The area is perfect for a leisurely stroll, allowing visitors to explore various viewpoints and appreciate the natural beauty around them. Despite some graffiti on the lower rock, the overall experience remains delightful.
Beautiful. Short walk up Bigger than what it seems. Worth a walk around to see different views.
Art — Google review
It's a beautiful area to see the whole valley, but the "zapato" itself is kind of a joke and not that interesting. They clued the rock on top of the base. Originally it was one piece, but now it just looks fake because of the cement. Aside from the shoe, go here to see the nice view of the mountains and the awesome lake. Good place to go to and very close to Capilla del Monte.

While it may not be ideal for all-day swimming due to limited water, it's perfect for a leisurely visit. The journey to this picturesque spot involves a pleasant walk along the stream, where you can immerse yourself in the local flora and fauna, including observing native birds and ancient Comechingón mortars.
(Translated by Google) Beautiful place, quiet and with beautiful landscape. It doesn't have a lot of water if the idea is to bathe there and stay there all day, so I highly recommend it to go and spend some time. The path you have to take to get there is good, at the entrance they charge you $1500 per person.

(Translated by Google) Very nice place to climb. Many routes, of all levels and in very good condition. The only thing, it had rained a few weekends ago and the path to get to the furthest tracks was very thick and you couldn't see the path as much. To consider if no one knows the place, consult a map and the owners of the house at the entrance well before going. Point in favor of the place, it has a river to get into if it's hot (Original) Muy lindo lugar para escalar.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful walk along the course of a stream along high stone walls, where you can observe the native flora, birds and even the comechingones mortars. You have to leave the vehicle at the entrance, pay the entrance fee per person and walk the path on foot. Excellent. Excelente.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful, natural spot. The trail isn't well marked, and if the river is high, you'll have to get your feet wet. This is only for wilderness and nature lovers. Entrance is through private property, and the fee is $100 per person.

(Translated by Google) Charming place full of nature. You leave the car at a property next to the road, the owners charge $1000 per person, there are bathrooms and a grocery store. The path is easily accessible and well signposted. After walking 500 meters you reach the river, you can walk left or right. To the right are larger, deeper pots.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful place. It is reached with a walk that is not very long but you have to cross the river. That's why I recommend wearing sneakers and bringing flip flops. The path is marked so everyone can do it on their own. (Original) Hermoso lugar.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful place to spend the day and walk along the water. Wear Crocs, flip-flops or similar shoes to walk better in the water since there are a lot of stones. You have to walk approximately 1000 meters to where the water begins to flow with good flow. Admission was $1000 per person. There is a bathroom upon entry, very small. (Translated by Google) The place is beautiful!! We arrived via route 38 from the summit. To the right of the road there is a property where you leave your car, they charge you $1000 per person, and minors do not pay. You begin the tour under a tunnel, and the path is super signposted, the path is beautiful, it is approximately 500 meters. Once you reach the river crossing, to the right there are pots up to 2 meters deep. The truth is I was fascinated. Super recommendable (Original) El lugar es hermoso!! (Translated by Google) A lovely place to visit with kids. It features a large collection of Marvel, DC, Disney, and other national comic book characters and comics, housed in a large, historic mansion.
