Alta Vista Wines offers a diverse selection of high elevation single varietal Malbecs, as well as lighter whites and roses. Visitors can enjoy custom tasting selections and take tours of the property, or simply relax on the sprawling lawn. The picnic area by the vineyards provides a beautiful and relaxing setting for enjoying delightful charcuterie with empanadas and wine. The staff is described as friendly and informative, providing great tours and accommodating tastings with lovely indoor and outdoor settings.
What a lovely setting to enjoy our three course lunch, under an olive tree in the garden. The staff were amazing and we loved the extra surprises that they gave us at dessert time. A memorable visit - for sure!
Eve T — Google review
We tasted several wines and really loved this winery. We did not do a tour. We simply bicycled up with no reservation, and asked to purchase "copitas de vino". We shared 5 glasses between 3 of us and got a very good sense of what Alta Vista has to offer. Catalina was our server and she expertly detailed each wine as we sat in the garden and enjoyed the view of the mountains. Wonderful time!
Andy L — Google review
We did the wine tour and it was my favorite compared to all the ones we made. Our tour guide was super nice and knowledgeable. We loved the Torrontes!
Julieta A — Google review
I’ve been living in Mendoza 5 month now, we’ve been to many nice dinners, but this stood against the rest. The experience, the food, the wine and the people - simply amazing. Would eat her everyday if I could
Adam H — Google review
Our tour guide flora was so friendly and welcoming, we learned a huge amount from her. The premises are gorgeous, and the wines delicious. We stayed for lunch at the assemblage restaurant, and I can honestly say it was one of the best meals of my life, every course was perfectly prepared and presented, truly delicious, and the whole team that hosted us were so friendly, welcoming, and full of interpreting facts and good conversation. 10/10, I couldn’t recommend this place any higher!
Nicholas L — Google review
We did wine tasting of: TERROIR SELECTION & LOS ESCASOS. 3 wines testing each of red wines, in total 6 testing. The amounts are generous. The view around the winery is beautiful and the wine is tasty
Saar R — Google review
This spectacular winery was first built around 1910 and was beautifully restored in the nineties. The grounds are filled with olive trees, lavender and grape vines... very reminiscent of Provence. The tour, through the expansive production areas and the original vaulted subterranean caverns, was fascinating, especially the explanation of the champagne process used for their espumantes. We chose the espumante tasting and our knowledgeable guide explained every detail. This was perhaps our favourite tasting experience so far. Make sure to reserve ahead of time... the guard at the front gate is very thorough.
Lou K — Google review
A very nice tour…and winery. Our guide was really good (in English) and during the tasting, she had us share what we thought of each wine..which helped give different perspectives!

Clos de Chacras, bodega y restaurante is a charming winery located in Chacras de Coria, Argentina. This old family-owned winery was re-acquired after being abandoned for 30 years and has been transformed by the younger generation of owners. The winery is nestled in a residential neighborhood and offers high-quality wines in smaller quantities. Visitors can enjoy a lovely visit to this organic winery near Mendoza and explore its history while savoring delicious wines.
This charming little winery offers a stunning setting and an unforgettable dining experience. We enjoyed a beautifully curated four-course menu with perfectly paired wines. The flavors were exquisite, and the portion sizes just right. The wine selection was equally impressive, showcasing both variety and quality. Best of all, the prices were very reasonable for the amazing experience.
Mariano P — Google review
What a great day! Christina took us on a tour of the winery and then Victoria took us through the 7 course with pairing meal. Both were fantastic! Highly recommend Clos de chacras!
Linda H — Google review
We did a wine tasting 4 wines with a small food pairing that was very reasonablely priced. Everyone at the winery was very nice. I recommend coming early so you can walk around the absolutely stunning grounds. We also sighted several beautiful birds. It's truly a great place to visit
David R — Google review
Went in March 2024, an absolutely lovely lunch! Highly recommend. It was such a beautiful setting and VERY generous wine pours. Delicious meal. Everything was perfect 🥰
Becca P — Google review
We had a brilliant experience here today. We chose the 4 course tasting menu with matching wines and it was fabulous. Food was great with generous portions, and a nice variety of wines (rose, malbec, cab sav blend, sparking) which accompanied the food perfectly (and were generously topped up), The service staff were exceptional and attended to us in English. A special shout out to Victoria for looking after us. Well done, team!
Bruce C — Google review
Cannot recommend this winery and restaurant enough. Victoria, our server, was beyond fantastic. She had passion for the food, wine, place, and was so incredibly nice. The food was some of the best we've had anywhere and the wine was excellent. I implore you to come here!
James S — Google review
We really enjoyed a wine tasting here in a beautiful setting. It’s very easily accessible from Mendoza by taxi . Highly recommend
Catherine B — Google review
I had a fantastic experience here. They were able to adapt the menu gluten free and safe for celiacs / sin TACC and confirmed that separate kitchen items were used that have never touched anything with gluten. Apart from this, the six course lunch menu and accompanying wines were absolutely delicious. Really a premium experience! There is a lovely terrace to sit next to the water, beautiful surroundings, and the service was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Situated amidst the stunning landscapes of Mendoza, Bodegas Nieto Senetiner offers breathtaking views of the Andes and vineyards. This historic winery, nestled in one of Mendoza's oldest wine-producing areas, welcomes visitors year-round for guided tours, wine tastings, and delightful lunches. The ambiance exudes a rich sense of history and provides an immersive experience for all who visit.
We had a beautiful memorable & delicious lunch here - we highly recommend. The views were lovely and our waiter (Júlia) was very kind going above and beyond. Very good value for money for the quality of food.
Merin D — Google review
The view was amazing and the wine was good, but it was a kind of frustrating experience. We turned up with no reservation and the gate staff looked at us rather snottily, eventually we were shown into the wine area where we were told we could scan a QR code to buy a glass of wine with wine pass or a bottle from the shop. We only wanted a glass each so did the scanning, but it was quite expensive at 6800 pesos per glass. Seems they're missing a trick not being able to sell individual glasses? I don't know, maybe that's not the audience they're aiming for, but it felt all very removed from the very friendly other experiences we have had at other local wineries.
Joe K — Google review
A lunch at the winery is a must! As at March 2023 3-course with Cadus goes for USD79. Wine tastes better with paired foods. Booking is essential so contact them via calling or WhatsApp.
LEE S — Google review
One of the most historical wineyards of Lujan de Cuyo area. Great experience and visit. Only one suggestion: do not buy the wines there, you can surprisingly find the same bottles cheaper in the center of Mendoza or at the airport
Luca V — Google review
Absolutely loved visiting this bodega from 1900. The vineyards were beautiful and seeing all the French oak and vats were extremely beautiful. The tour itself was splendid as well as the wine tasting. It was in depth and I'm glad we went through the sight, smell, and taste together. They really push you to buy a bottle of wine here and I bought one for my parents because they deserve it.
Lucian R — Google review
Oh oh oh, was this the best filet I had in Argentina? Definitely yes! And although the dinner started terribly (but not due to the winery/restaurant but due to my tour organizer), the waiter was friendly enough to restore my mood. Go there with a very empty stomach as they offer a 6 or 7 plates menu and all of them are spectacular unreal in taste and most are also spectacular in size. Wow!
Cosmicyellow — Google review
We had a reservation that included a visit of the winery, which was super nice. The wines were good and they gave us a refill up to 3 times, which was definitely a nice touch. I would not pay for the costillas again, but the filet was good. Overall we had a great time even though the food could have been a bit better.
Bianca R — Google review
This was an incredible experience! Get a reservation to experience the entire property. I suggest the Cadus Blend of Vineyard. Wow!!

Carmelo Patti is a small, unassuming winery located in Mendoza, known for its high-quality wines and the personal touch of its winemaker, Carmelo Patti. Established in 1998, this family-run business focuses on producing top-notch wines with meticulous attention to detail. The winery is not flashy and lacks signage, reflecting the humble nature of Carmelo Patti himself.
This winery produces wonderful wine and the tour is very interesting and enjoyable. Often the owner, Carmelo, leads the tour but the day we visited he was busy driving a forklift as bottling operations were in progress. Instead his daughter led the tour, and her passion and knowledge of the subject were quite impressive. The winery itself is physically not very nice. It is built for production not beauty, however the quality of the wine far exceeds the visual appeal of the location.
Tom L — Google review
Start your Mendoza wine day here, it’s a small family run winery with a high level of dedication to detail and perfecting their craft. Quality over quantity seems to be their MO and it shows in the exceptional taste of their wines. Can’t recommend the tour/tasting at Carmelo Patti enough.
Morie N — Google review
This small winery is special because the winemaker himself gives the tour and is so rightfully proud of the wines and their whole process. It was a really enjoyable and educational tour with a tasting at the end of very good wines!
Melissa P — Google review
We called into Carmello Patti late in the day and enjoyed a wine tasting with him. He was very friendly and taught us alot about wines in particular storing/cellaring wines. It was agreat experience and I would recommend it highly.
Thomas E — Google review
Do not be discouraged because of the size or initially difficulty in finding the winery! It doesn’t have sprawling vineyards and is situated in a working warehouse, but none of that matters. What you’re here for is the experience and there is no better introduction to wines in the region than a meeting with the one and only Carmelo Patti. The founder and owner himself will greet you and take you through the methods of winemaking / bottling. Of course there is a wine tasting as well which is fantastic, the Cabernet Sauvignon was by far our favorite. Enjoy your time here, it’s well worth a visit!
Karol G — Google review
Get a chance to meet with Carmelo Patti, this very peculiar winemaker and taste his excellent wines! Very recommended! Why ? Because you will see how a very small winery works and you will takes this exceptional wines!
Sergio — Google review
Great wine! Carmelo delivers the story personally. It's mostly in Spanish, but he does try to speak English. His wives are fantastic!!
Adam B — Google review
Of all the bodega we had been to on this tour, this was not as luxurious. However, the family history behind it is incredible. Our tour guide was the daughter of the Italian immigrant who started the vineyard. The tastings themselves were interesting, especially the blend between the Malbec and 2 cabernets. It was not an in depth tasting but still enjoyed it.

Bodega Lagarde is a historic estate in Mendoza, Argentina, known for its excellent wine and delicious Argentinian cuisine. Acquired by the Pescarmona family in 1969 and now run by sisters Lucia and Sofia Pescarmona, this winery offers tours of the vineyards and winemaking process. The restaurant provides a luxurious experience with options for a 4-course or 7-course lunch paired with their own wines.
Wowa! What an experience!! Amazing food with beautiful, unpretentious service. Everyone in there was made to feel special, like it was their most important time tasting wine or food of this standard. Eugenia, Noelia and Laura were just so amazing and made us feel so welcome and special. Great food, beautifully paired wine. The best
Angie T — Google review
Wonderful lunch and wine pairing at Bodega Lagarde. We truly enjoyed the meal and each wine that accompanied each course. I loved the tomato salad so much the chef packed up an extra one for me! Excellent customer service. After dessert we took our wine outside and strolled the vineyard, tasting the grapes. Phenomenal dining experience!
Rachel S — Google review
Amazing place. We scheduled a visit and it was possible to see how careful they are with their production, there is no doubt regarding the quality of their wines. We also did an experience trying some wines and they were excellent. Nice place to visit and learn about Argentina’s wine culture.
Isadora A — Google review
Good tour and overall experience! The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was lovely to see so many organic vibes in the vineyard! The wines were good, not all of them were great. The restaurant is amazing! Highly recommended. The food was delicious, they offer gluten free bread as well 👌 and the service is great!

If u don’t do anything else in Mendoza do This!!!! Incredible experience and has become one of our memorable moments here. Our server Laura was amazing and we loved every moment of our experience
Ayeshah K — Google review
Suburb service, food and wine. We opted for the à la carte menu for lunch. Under the sprawling Mulberry tree with excellent service from all the staff especially George who was excellent. A mix of starters two 1kg steaks and desert - coupled with their premier red wine Henry and a great white wine what’s not to enjoy
Brendan K — Google review
Absolutely one of the best experiences! Our waiter, Jorge, and sommelier, Paula, provided outstanding service! We had the 7 course pre fixe dinner! The food was spectacular in taste and presentation and we each did a different wine pairing so we were able to taste their fabulous wines! I highly recommend Fogón at Bodega Lagarde! It is a wonderful experience!
Cary G — Google review
Fantastic! Could not ask for a better setting and a more luxurious afternoon. The 7 course lunch was outstanding with great flavours and perfect pairings. The service was impeccable and they were very kind to indulge my preference to speak in not so great Spanish [that's is how you get better]. Wine pours were very generous. My partner had a few top ups as well [alas, I was the driver]. My all means, treat yourself to this amazing experience while in Mendoza.

Bodega Tierras Altas is a fabulous winery offering a unique narrative waiting to be uncorked. The Malbec Experience at this place allows visitors to taste straight from the tanks and oak barrels, providing an amazing wine and food experience. The tour guides are accommodating, with Antonela being particularly helpful for English speakers. Even though it's located close to the highway, the boutique winery offers well-explained tours and tastings with opportunities to ask questions to the sommelier.
One of the best wine experiences I’ve ever had. I really learned a lot and tried some of the best wines I’ve ever had. The guide and staff were friendly and fun to talk to and the food was incredible. The best lunch I had in the city.
Rob B — Google review
I joined a Malbec tasting tour here. It was a great tasting experience. It's good to learn something about the grapes and Mendoza. I like one Malbec wine a lot.
IG: C — Google review
Reviewing the guided tour, not the restaurant. Went here for a English guided tour at 10am, and I was the only one. The guide told me the the group size is usually 1-3 for this time, and larger groups in the afternoon. The tour was great! Good whine, great guide with answer to every question I had. It lasted 1.5h, probably a bit longer if the group is larger. Easy to get here and back using Cabify.
Johan B — Google review
Great small batch wines. Wonderful flavor and quality. The English tour was fantastic. Very informative and fun group. Really enjoyed myself and worth the price.
Diane K — Google review
Nice wine pairing accompanied with an ok lunch in Bodega Tierra Altas. The team were attentive and answered our questions. Service was good with the team topping up wines and explaining everything. This place didn’t blow me away in terms of the food or setting and I probably wouldn’t go back as I have experienced other better bodega’s in the area.
Liam O — Google review
Learned more about wine in an hour and half that in my entire life. Guess we've been drinking wine entirely wrong: from holding the glasses to tasting it. Glad our tour guide Cecilia was there to enlighten us. Such a brilliant guide and Oenologist. She provided such great information on the area, the vineyard, the company. Tried 4 wines, all fantastic andgot to pour wine out of both the drums and a barrel. The bodega itself is really nice and modern. Staff is super friendly and they have a restaurant on site which we didn't try. Reservations for tastings and restaurant are both highly recommended.
Ruben C — Google review
I read both the positive reviews and the negative, and by far I must say the former are far more accurate. Those complaining about the pour size must have been there for a bar experience. This is not that, this is an elegant dining experience accompanied by a superb wine selection, and should you need more wine to pair with the food the staff if more than accommodating with healthy pours. I ten out of ten would recommend! Great service, helpful and kind staff, and a beautiful establishment all in all make for a wonderful experience.
Fred M — Google review
Had an incredible 1 on 1 Malbec experience with Antonela, who was very friendly and super knowledgeable about all the wines, the perfect guide for my first ever wine tour. I learned a lot and got to try a lot of beautiful wines, I cannot recommend this experience enough!

Visitors also praise the welcoming restaurant with its original decor, exceptional food, and top-notch service. Guests are treated to an excellent pairing experience that comes highly recommended.
So happy that Pablo and team were open on a Sunday morning when I walked in. Enjoyed the delicious glass of their locally produced Malbec, smooth yet complex, and a couple chocolates to round out flavor. Pleasant environment on the terrace, with birds chirping, and the barrels in the background saying hello.

Best Michelin we tried in Mendoza. Excellent, we’ll present, great quality food. Wonderful, interesting wine pairing. Absolute wonderful service. Beautiful garden setting. VERY reasonable prices. $100 for 2 people for a set menu!

We visited this winery just for a glass (no tour or food). The wines offered were diverse and the explanations were thorough. The setting was nice and we enjoyed our glass in the sun. The staff were not overly welcoming but that was ok.

We had a superb meal at Martinos this afternoon. We had read previous reviews and had high expectations. These were not disappointed, great food, great wines, excellent service in a wonderful setting. 10/1O - would recommend to anyone who has high standards, but doesn’t want to pay a fortune
David M — Google review
Very nice experience! I came with a wine tour and this is where we had launch + wine pairing and it was the highlight of my tour. The food was very good (especially the ojo de bife I had) and they were very generous with the wine sampling (on top of the wines from the normal pairing, their winemaker came to our table to try some new wines he was working on - very appreciated!; the rest of the staff was also very nice and accommodating). The setting is also very beautiful with a nice garden and a cozy, well designed interior space where we had lunch). I'm not a wine connoisseur and I enjoy white wines more than red ones, especially in warm weather, so more than to say they went well with the meal and I liked it I wouldn't be able to comment more. But as a casual wine drinker who enjoys a good meal in a nice, relaxing atmosphere I very much enjoyed this experience. The winery tour itself was also very interesting, they use different types and shapes of barrels and the geek in me enjoyed it.

Bodega Benegas is a must-visit stop on the Mendoza Wine Tour, offering a unique historical twist to the typical winery story. The vineyard showcases ancient wine-making machines alongside old hand-woven ponchos dating back to the 1800s, worn by famous Argentinian presidents and historical figures.
Beautiful winery. Historical with high quality wines focuses on quality so have to stay small. It is interesting to know it is one of the few that still belongs to the same family. Recommended

We visited 12 wineries while in Mendoza and Bodega Benegas was the first we visited and a true standout! Learning about their history and their wine making process was fun and informative. Maya was a wonderful guide through the tour and tasting. We had a fantastic time here and brought home some superb wines!
Rachel S — Google review
Beautiful historical winery. The history of the family and their wine making business was very interesting. We had a tour and a tasting and our guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with great details of the history and the wine making process.
Lizzy P — Google review
It's well worth a visit to Bodega Benegas with its beautiful interiors, long history, and, of course, excellent wines. The tour begins in the chapel-like "living room" with its immense couches, dining table, and asado apparatus, which I was assured is still often used. The tour then moves on to the wine making facilities... pristine and waiting for the first harvest a month or two from now. Below are the rows and rows of wine storage vaults. And finally... the tasting rooms. My wife and I are by no means wine experts, but our host patiently guided us through the tasting process, which we thoroughly enjoyed!
Lou K — Google review
Claudio led us on one of the most beautiful bodegas we we have visited in our life! Claudio was fabulous about describing the amazing stages of wine production and the history of their winery in Mendoza. Highly recommended

Very affordable prices with great gear on offer. We were given a very clear map with all the vineyards we could visit and had an absolute blast visiting each of them. I ended up with a puncture and was sent a replacement bike within 20 minutes while I was enjoying a glass of wine. Great staff, service and experience all round.

Very friendly service from Miguel who gave us good advice on where to go on the bikes, as well as a paper map with the cycle routes. An extra 2k per person to pay with card.

Fantastic service, the bikes were perfect, Inez showed us the map and recommended the route and all the vineyards we visited were great. The cycle paths from the shop to the vineyards made for safe, easy cycling and we had such a great day. Would recommend to anyone in Mendoza.

I have ridden bicycles in more than 69 countries and this has to be one of the best bicycle rental experiences ever. The directions for the wineries were perfect. Bike paths, vineyards, the Andes, friend people everywhere. Perfect for beginners or advanced riders. Highly recommend. Oh, and we had a flat in the middle of the afternoon on Sunday, and Ines came with a replacement bicycle for my wife. Wow!!! Can’t say enough 👊🏻🇦🇷🚲⚡️

These people are awesome and we highly recommend working with them! We contacted them the day before for bike rental. Ines was super responsive and absolutey lovely. She gave us a map with great suggestions of wineries and food places to visit. The people here are the some of the nicest we have encountered and their prices are fair!

Great bike shop with incredibly friendly staff who will act as the ultimate guide for your daily wine adventure. With a meticulously, and colorfully, plotted out map you will have a sure fire path laid out for the wine adventure ahead thanks to Baccus. It’s incredibly easy to get there by bus or cab from Mendoza center, so please do not hesitate!

I would rent a bike from them again. They provided good suggestions and routes. The Trek bike I rented worked well enough for the price. The area is beautiful, and fun to bike in. Plus, lots of good bodegas to choose from. The hard part was getting in touch with them - their website numbers/emails are not current. I found the Whatsapp number on their Facebook page works. There are also current Whatsapp numbers on the map uploaded with this review.

I'd say this was the best part during our wine trip. I loved the freedom of having a bike to get around the wineries. We arrived around 10am and the girl at the rental helped us pick the best wineries for us. We had done our homework and told them a few the places we wanted to stop by and she helped us choose the best route to include them. All the recommendations she gave us were really good. The owner was also there and he made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our trip (helmet, locks, etc.) The area has many bike lanes but even driving on regular streets felt safe. Bikes were also of very good quality and relatively new, with shifters and comfy saddles. I'd definitely do this tour again! Chacras de Coria is amazing!

Staying at this working bodega provides an authentic and unique experience where guests can enjoy comfortable accommodations while being immersed in the world of wine. Ramiro's extensive knowledge about wine and beer adds to the overall experience, making it a must-visit destination in Mendoza.
Very enjoyable tour and tasting as part of our cycling tour of the area. Our host spoke great English and was passionate about their products. We got to taste some nice wines plus vermouth plus an exceptionally good beer they make in the adjoining premises. Excellent value for the small tasting fee they charge. Definitely worth a visit.

We came to this winery on a cycle tour. It is a beautiful, rustic and hands on business run by a family. Ramiro, the winemaker, gave an excellent guided tour to the place and wine making. It was a very enjoyable experience that contrasts very well with some of the larger wineries of the region. Definitely recommend. Plus, their ‘Vermut’ label was one of the tastiest things we had tried in Mendoza… mil gracias!
Gareth W — Google review
Worth a stop!!! Wow! This place is nothing but impressive. It's an organic winery that does it right. The tour is nothing like anything we have done before.... it's not your traditional "this is the vineyard". Plus if you need to, they can do all the explanations in English. My Spanish is ok, but understanding the details def was needed in English. You get to taste the won't at several stages... seriously it was awesome! Wish we had more time here. Recommend at least an hour. 30 min for the tour and tasting then another 30 to really enjoy the tasting and outdoor area.

We didn't reserve anything, but turned up and there was a tour running in 20 minutes in English. Very friendly welcome and an informative tour with the tasting of four wines, a vermouth and a beer all for 10k per person. Lovely setting. They also have a restaurant where we enjoyed a great mortadella sandwich under the trees. A great experience.

We did a tour with the winemaker in English and it was a fantastic experience. Got to taste 5 wines and some vermouth. Learnt alot about the area and the wines. Highly recommended particularly if you like organic wines.

By far the best wine tour we did in Mendoza. A lovely organic bodega with a great tour where we learned a lot. Got to try red wine, vermouth and beer, and we met the owner who gave us even more info. Highly recommend.

The well-manicured lawns provide an incredible atmosphere for savoring their delicious Malbec.
Great place! Very beautiful as well. We ordered the 6 glasses wine tastings and the cheese plate. Aldana our waitress was very kind and had good recommendations. Highly recommend!
Bar L — Google review
As for this standard i do not recommend this place. Complete lack of attention. It all started when we entered the restaurant with reservation and asked to sit outside instead of inside. The faces of service got automatically mad and annoyed. this is literally just unacceptable. we ordered mostly three dishes menu and after already waiting 10-15 minutes the waiter came to us and said that this type of menu is only for sundays (it was friday that day). ok so how did this menu was on the table? and why didn’t he come straight away after we ordered? then when we ordered different stuff we had to wait more than one hour for 6 dishes (four bifes de chorizo, ravioli and fish). meanwhile nobody came to us to say that the wait will be a little bit longer. Then when the food finally came it was also disappointing. Wasn’t hot, just warm or even a bit cold. The meat was supposed to be medium to medium well and came well done, plus I can say it was flavorless. and again nobody came to us to ask if the food is all right or if we need anything else, even though the waiter was checking all the tables around us. finally when we finished a lady came (of course with mad face ;))) and ask if everything is okay with the food. i think it is a bit too late for that. Plus at the end i recognized there were specks from a cloth in my wine. Our bill was circa 170k pesos and to be honest not worth even a half of it. The atmosphere with which we were treated is what we completely didn’t expect. we weren’t problematic guests at all. the only think we asked was change of a table and what we got was a disappointing lunch. Many times even if the food is not the best, good service can make the meal and time fun and good. but in this case nothing worked. neither service nor food. the place is very pretty but that’s just a piece of the whole experience. i wouldn’t come back.
Żaneta W — Google review
Beware of this winery. I tried to book a sunset reservation and received a confirmation after booking online, but the follow-up email said the reservation wouldn’t be confirmed until I paid. I communicated with them via WhatsApp, and instead of directing me to pay through their website or by credit card, they asked me to wire them money — which felt very strange, especially in 2025. Later that same day, they canceled my reservation and the date suddenly “sold out.” I’d recommend going elsewhere, especially for sunset experiences. One great alternative is Kaiken Winery — much more professional and trustworthy.

We came to this beautiful winery. They gave us a tour of about 30 minutes with a detailed explanation of the whole wine process and it was really fun and instructive. We then sat down at a table and tasted three types of wines in a cheese and chocolate mix and were given to understand how to taste and which and with going with what. For me it was a teaching and enriching experience and I enjoyed it very much. The wines were absolutely delicious along with the cheeses and hoshoklade. The guide was lovely. The views were stunning. Good experience and I highly recommend!

Bodega Familia Cassone, located in the Lujan de Cuyo Wine Region of Mendoza, offers a delightful winery tour and tasting experience. Visitors praise the friendly and knowledgeable staff, particularly Sofia Montes and Federico Cassone. The wines are described as magnificent and reasonably priced, with some visitors even adopting a dog named Felicidade during their visit. The cozy and spacious environment, along with the stunning views, create a wonderful energy that adds to the overall experience.
We visited Familia Cassone today with a group wine tour. We were greeted by their sommelier, Sofia, who was our guide during the 75 minutes tour of the vineyard and wine tasting experience. She was an excellent host, very personable, knowledgeable, humorous, and openly friendly. We also met Frederico, the wine maker/owner. Their wines were fantastic and we enjoyed tasting all of them, as well as the olive oil they produce. We highly recommend visiting this winery if you are in the Mendoza region.

Bodega DE ANGELES Old Vines Vistalba Viña 1924 offers a unique and personalized experience for wine enthusiasts. Led by the family that owns the vineyards, visitors are welcomed by Juanjo, who shares the rich history of the historic vines and olive trees on the estate. The experience includes tasting wines from barrels and tanks, as well as their best labels, while learning about the production process.
This was my favorite winery that we visited in Mendoza! We paid $60USD and that included a taste from the tank, the barrel, 5 wines and olive oil plus charcuterie. The tasting takes place at a table outside surrounded by vines and the generosity was incredible. When the sun got too hot, they offered me a hat and always offering more wine. The wines are incredible and the olive oil was great too. I only wish shipping to the US was easier. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience in De Angeles. We were welcomed by Juan who is the grandson of the founder. We couldn't have been happier with the experience we had! The tour is very private (just for the group you're in), which allows you to really understand the history of the Bodega. He carefully explained the history of De Angeles before he allowed us to taste the wine within the different stages of production (I've never been able to do it in such a thoroughly manner as done by him). We later on went to the wine tasting along with some cheese and local ham. We also offered us to taste their olive oil (and olives) which is something you can't miss in the world. The smell and taste is just unforgettable. I recommend it 200% if you are visiting Mendoza and you would like a true local experience (and premium wines).

It was a truly incredible wine experience with Juan José at Bodega De Angeles. Every aspect of the wine tasting was top notch. From the beginning, he really makes you feel like you’re part of the family, explaining the history of both wine in Argentina and wine at De Angeles. He walks you through the different aspects of making wine, showcasing how different techniques impact the wine and you can try wine directly from the barrel. Then you are sat down amongst the beautiful vines for the tastings where you are given a delicious charcuterie board, as well as their homemade olive oil, which was fantastic. Lastly (but definitely not least), you have the wine tastings of multiple different bottles, which were our favourites amongst the bodegas in Mendoza. If you’re looking for an educative, friendly, and delicious wine tasting experience, this should be at the top of your list.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a very special warmth, which made us feel at home. During the visit, they explained the entire winemaking process to us with great clarity and passion, which was evident in every detail. The tasting was the most beautiful moment: each wine had its own character, but they all shared that quality that can only be achieved with dedication and craftsmanship. I loved discovering not only good wines, but also a history of family and tradition that is conveyed in every glass. Without a doubt, a place to recommend and return to. 🍷 Thank you Juanjo for welcoming us with such warmth. This place is exactly what I was picturing we would find in Mendoza and it 100% lived up to the image in my mind. Really lovely visit - we turned up with no booking or anything on a Tuesday afternoon and enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine and sandwiches. Very friendly service, a great deck to gaze out over the vineyard and most importantly, delicious wine. I wish we could have spent longer. A true pleasure. Thank you.

After what felt like so many gimmicky multi-course meals, this place was exactly what I’d pictured for Mendoza. A delicious sandwich on a terrace with great wine, overlooking a vineyard. No gimmicks, no upselling, just a simple menu, beautiful setting, and genuine experience.

We came for a tour at 4 PM, no prior reservation was necessary. We expected it to be with other people, but it was private! Such a wonderful experience. The guide showed us around the vineyard, explained to us exactly how their wine was made, and gave us an extremely generous tasting. If you’re hungry, they offer sandwiches. We loved it!!!!!!

Very nice tour that we were lucky enough to catch during harvest process so we got to see some of the sorting and see up close. The grounds are so relaxing and great place to come for just a glass as well. Good sandwiches which are a nice change of pace from the fancier dining at other bodegas. The tour guide oscillated between Spanish and English so everyone felt included. Some wines had a bit of a vinegary after taste which may not have been my style but not worth docking a star because that's preference.

If all the wineries we visited, this was the most incredible experience in Mendoza. The staff were so accomplished and friendly. We felt like family from the minute we arrived! We had a three glass “generous tasting” with lunch, which was fabulous. This was our the fourth stop on our three day bike tour of the region. I It was easily the best experience. The staff created in the beautiful backyard of the owners of the yard, surrounded by their vineyards. The food was to die for and even had vegetarian options. Tables are set up around the yard, pick where you want to sit and you are brought 3 delicious wines and food if you want it. Would definitely recommend Gieco Winery!!!

This Bodega encapsulated everything we wanted from a Mendozan vineyard: outstanding natural beauty, a delicious selection of wines and superb food (a small menu of sandwiches, but cooked to perfection). It's a family establishment and they - and their dogs - are delightful. The tasting includes a tour of the beautiful grounds and 3 glasses (full glasses) of wine. It absolutely surpassed our expectations; it's certainly one to pen in as a "must do".

I visited Argentina as part of a birthday trip that included a dozen wineries between here and Chile, and this one was by far my most magical experience out of all of them. I decided to purchase the 7-course lunch and wine pairing, and to say the entire experience was perfect would be an understatement. From the moment I parked and arrived, I was greeted at the door by a friendly hostess. She invited me to explore the grounds and take some photos while they prepared the dining area. They have a very nice outdoor seating area and I took advantage of it to sit and relax and soak up the views. After, the hostess came back out to guide my to my choice of seating, and I picked a lovely table for two by the window. Let me just say that EVERY SINGLE PLATE was phenomenal. My only regret is that I could not finish it all, and since I was driving, I also could not finish all of my wine. That being said, everything was exquisite. The meat was cooked exactly how I like it, the wine was all terrific and paired perfectly with the corresponding dish, and the service was flawless. Every plate and every wine was explained to me so I knew what I was getting, and I was so very appreciative that they ensured my water glass was always full so that I could drink plenty of water for a safe journey back home. The whole experience is advertised as lasting three hours and it definitely does! Honestly, I would have stayed for four or five hours if I didn't have to leave after everything was finished. All the above alone would have been enough to make this experience a memorable one. But it went way beyond that. Last year I lost my fiance, and this trip was originally meant to be our honeymoon trip. I decided to instead make the trip a birthday trip, and I had my fiance's stuffed lion with me as a companion in his memory. Some people think this is a little weird, but everyone here absolutely loved him. They allowed me to share his story with them, and they welcomed him as if he were with me in person. As a surprise at the end of it all, they brought me out a birthday cake and candle. It was extremely thoughtful, and it was, by far, the most memorable part of my entire trip. It was so touching and meant so very much to me that I was in tears (good tears!) by the time I was leaving. Special thanks to Lety and Diana and all the hard-working staff at Ruca Malen. They are all amazing and I wish I could have stayed longer and spend the evening drinking wine in their kind company. If you are planning a trip to Mendoza and want to ensure yourself a fabulous experience, then you MUST make it a point to visit this winery, and do the 7-course lunch. You will ensure yourself a very memorable experience, and even better if you don't need to drive after. I loved it, and I know that if I am ever back in Mendoza, this will be the very first place on my list to come back to. I cannot recommend it enough, and will always be grateful for the meaningful and unforgettable experience I had here. 🤩

For the number of reviews I read ahead of time, I was somewhat underwhelmed by my experience at Ruca Malen, but I would still give 5 stars for the food, wine, and ambiance. The food was flavorful and well presented. The location of Ruca Malen is beautiful and the indoor seating offered great views of the Andes and vineyards. Every member of the staff we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The wine pairings were great and well explained by servers. The price point is excellent for the amount of food and wine offered. A few minor details of the experience did not match the caliber I expected from the recent Michelin attention ie: the empanadas at our table were not hot, table settings were not spotless, and the meat was fatty. The pairings, sides, palate cleanser, and desserts were excellent and we had a great experience overall, but it lacked the wow factor for me.

Bodega Ruca Malen is an incredible experience. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. My wife and I were visiting Mendoza from New York City, and we dropped in (no reservation!) for a 7-course lunch with wine pairings. Let me tell you, it was one of the best meals we have EVER had. Each course of the meal was exquisite, and the chef's choices were unique, well-prepared, and incredibly flavorful. We had 5 different wines (whites and reds), and each wine was lovely and perfectly paired with each course. Our server and sommelier were highly attentive, incredibly knowledgeable, and kept our wine glasses full throughout the nearly 3 hour meal. In addition, the bodega is located inside a sprawling and gorgeous vineyard, with the Andes mountains in the background. Much of the staff spoke both English and Spanish. If you are in Lujan de Cuyo, you absolutely must stop by for lunch. You will be talking about this meal for days. If I lived in the region, I would come here at least once a month!

My husband and I visited Ruca Malen during our honeymoon and WOW was it amazing. Our tour guide Soledad had so much passion for the wines and encouraged us to discover our own passions for each wine, taste, and our own perfect setting for each wine. The capitulo tres malbec might be the best I've had in South America, if not all of the America's. This is a once in a lifetime experience! Muchisimas Gracias Sole!

The whole experience is a tourist trap. The tour is quite short, and it doesn't do justice to the work of the land. The meals are nothing special, resembling what a typical Argentine family eats daily: beef and salad. While the wines are decent, you're paying a very high price for mountain views. Overall, it doesn't offer good value compared to other wineries in the region. Sorry, folks, but using the 'Michelin-nominated' label doesn't translate to a quality experience.

A wonderful lunch. We were very impressed with the food and the wine pairing. The staff were exceptional and really did a fantastic job. The only problem was maybe it was too much food, but we were able to deal with it! Could not be happier with our lunch. Seriously good value for money. Our server, Leticia was just wonderful.
Graham D — Google review
The place is heaven on earth. The floor seems a thick green carpet, the view of the mountains (still snowy in November!) and the beautiful weather made us have an exquisite experience. Nevertheless the food (although 6 pasos) was scarce and the wine was somewhat short (less than a glass every step of the way) for the AR$1,500 we paid per person. If you are lucky you get a nice waiter that serves you a bit more. Overall we had a great time. Arrive early as 12pm to get a table outside if the weather is nice.

Diana is precious! Such wonderful hospitality and very knowledgeable. We gave her tips about American wineries (California, Oregon, Washington, Finger Lakes region). She was so enthusiastic and inquisitive as were we about this area and history. Unfortunately we visited on Sovereignty Day and missed the restaurant being opened. However, very nice tour and tasting. Absolutely gorgeous property. The wine? Wow! Beautiful petit verdot and Cabernet franc. I have not personally had an Argentinian Pinot noir but I am now a huge fan. Thank you so much for a fun, beautiful, professional experience.

Bodegas Norton is a renowned winery in Argentina that offers wine tours and tastings for visitors to immerse themselves in the winemaking process and savor some of the country's top-notch wines. The tour provides insights into the venue's history and showcases its stunning surroundings. Visitors have praised the knowledgeable and passionate tour guides who make the experience truly memorable. The tasting room, where the tour commences, has been described as absolutely stunning.
Lovely tour and interesting history…including tour of owners original house! Camilla was our guide in English…and was great! Very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Tried 3 reds and a sparkling wine (which was offered in the tour).

Fun, friendly, great wine, interesting history. We reserved the bike tour, but they canceled because of the muddy conditions. They quickly offered a regular tasting tour for the same time slot which was really nice.

Norton is a Legacy that is felt in every step along the journey of this bodega experience. Luxury, Legacy, and Tradition best describes this bodega. A well known brand… each wine tasted was full of flavor. Definitely an enjoyable experience! Worth a visit.

If you are looking to learn about wine production and winery operations, this is the Bodega for you. Compared to neighboring bodegas that emphasize food and tastings, the tour of Norton was historic, included great context, and allowed the opportunity to see production facilities up close, which is not offered at all vineyards. Our guide Camila was knowledgable, friendly, and an excellent host. The tasting was limited to three wines, but reasonable for the price point.

Gorgeous setting on the porch overlooking the vineyards. We had the 4 course lunch. Service from Paloma was exceptional. My husband ordered the beef and it was the best steak I've tasted in the entire country of Argentina. Cooked to perfection (jugoso) and extremely tender. I had almost given up on getting a really good piece of beef in this country. My pasta was wonderful as well. And of course the wines were delicious. Paloma was a delightful server. She spoke excellent English but was gracious to help us practice our Spanish. This was one of the highlights of our time in Mendoza.

Bodega Séptima offers a rich culinary experience with stunning surroundings and knowledgeable hosts. Visitors have enjoyed tours of the winery, exquisite wine tastings, and homemade cheese pairings. The property itself is described as vast, rustic, and charming. Guests have been impressed by the friendly staff and the opportunity to learn about the wines in great detail. The vineyard's architecture is noteworthy, resembling a fort, and it also offers fantastic lunch options paired with different wines overlooking the vineyard.
Amazing tour of the winery (bodega) and exquisite tasting of their Obra, Tierra, and Gran Reserva wine's accompanied by homemade cheese. As well as the best and most amazing guide, Haise, let us pour our wine directly from the barrel to try it and provided us with umbrellas for our walk thru the sun and vinard. All and all a stunning experience, would recommend and do again!

SEPTIMA Initial reception  was good, the usual insistence on reservations though the place was 90% empty... blah, blah, let's see if we can squeeze you in. Miracle! They could seat us, please choose any of the 50+ open tables. A GENERAL NOTE ABOUT MENDOZA : The wineries here all demand reservations, you cannot just show up and wonder around the grounds, they will turn you away at the front gate. If you do manage to get let in, the restaurants will not serve you unless you have a reservation. The reservation can be for a tour with limited wine tasting, $50 USD TO $80 USD per person, or for a food and wine pairing, 3 ,5 or 6 course at USD $75 to USD $200 (Catena Zapata). A hundred U$D minimum for a couple just to visit a winery? No Thank you. How many wineries would you like to visit in Mendoza? Two wineries a day for 4 days? That's well over $1000 USD. NO! Use the funds for airfare to Napa, California and visit wineries for free, taste wines for $20 to $25, credited towards wine purchase, making the tasting free. Back to Septima: The Lamb sliders and cheese and charcuterie plates took a little while to be delivered.  The Grand Reserve Icon Malbec was ok, good body, big tannins, rather unbalanced, but mostly way TOO COLD. Undrinkably cold. We asked the wine waiter about their normal red wine serving temperature, and he said 14 degrees C, but this glass was at 8 deg C. WHAT? Serving red wines that cold completely alters the flavour profile, mostly rendering it lifeless. The wine guy said their customers wanted a cold beverage, but did not want ice in the glass. Then serve them grape KoolAid, they probably wouldn't notice the difference,  as long as it was served cold. The wine guy did bring out a complimentary glass of their 2nd top wine, cold but not impossibly cold. This wine was drinkable, and actually better balanced than the Icon vino frio. The lamb sliders were pretty good, nothing spectacular, big old buns with a sliver of lamb/goat (they used both descriptors) and caramelized onions. The predominant flavour was the onions, with  occasional hints of lambiness The cheese and charcuterie board was also good,  the salami had full garlic cloves ossified within , a real flavour bomb. Yummy. Stringy prosciutto, a sliver of brie. Two 1/4 pencils of blue cheese, a postage stamp of a lamina of gruyere?. A small but acceptable platter, not worth the price of admission. We ordered a tiramisu, my wife mentioned a deconstructed tiramisu she had recently endured.  The waiter assured her that theirs was not deconstructed but was very good. We waited, and waited.... I was just about to request the bill and leave (but no waiter responded though there were 3 in attendance) when the tiramisu showed up. It looked like babyshytte piled upon dogshytte. My wife ate the top half but balked at the feculent brown goop below. What happened to the lady's fingers, what happened to the espresso? It appears that restaurants are competing to deconstruct their tiramisu to greater and greater degrees. Deconstructed? More like de-stroyed. Overall impression of Septima: Food - 2 stars Wine quality - 5 stars Wine service - 1 star Wine server - 5 stars, friendly, helpful Ambience -  3 stars  , open, cold, barren Service -  1 star ,  waiter's and waitresses too busy chatting together, completely ignoring the customers. Long wait for food, even when the restaurant is nigh upon empty. .

I would not recommend going here if you’re looking for great service. Came to visit with a group of three for a wine tasting experience with out a reservation. At first we were welcomed as you should when you walk into a restaurant. Once they sat us down we waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order and no one came. We ended up leaving as we got up and walked out after passing several servers no one even questioned us leaving to at least see if everything was ok. The host didn’t even acknowledge us leaving saying goodbye or if we had a good experience or why we left so soon. Nothing compares to the service at Trivento or Chandon. Those two I would recommend 10000% super attentative. Avoid this place if your looking for good customer service. Came from USA to a total disappointment .

Horrible experience at lunch, which I of course had a reservation for. Borderline hostile environment for non Spanish speakers. Not a word in English. I spent there 40 minutes sitting in front of 5 lovely empty glasses. Wasn't offered aperitif or at least you know some wine. A restaurant was half full for a Monday lunch. So assuming I could've been sitting here totally ignored until the second coming I left.

Visitors can enjoy a three-step exquisite menu and sample some of the finest wines during a great wine tasting session. The friendly staff provides exceptional service, while guided tours around the winery offer rich information about vineyard treatment and winemaking details in both Spanish and Portuguese.
This was a premium experience. The grounds of the vineyard and restaurant were a lovely garden and ponds with kol fish and ducks. The dining area overlooked the pond. We had a two course meal with two pairings of wine with each course. The food made us understand the Michelin acknowledgement they received last year. The service was friendly but also of high quality. We don't hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

The grounds and the views of the Andes mountain range here at this bodega are incredible. The experience and tour were amazing. I could have spent the entire day enjoying the tranquil vibes of the property. Every wine tasted was delightful. It’s the only winery I visited where every single wine they offered, I LOVED and could have taken home a case. My only disappointment was I hadn’t reserved the whole day to stay here. The restaurant looked and felt amazing too. The staff is super friendly and the grounds are inviting. The cellar is beautiful too. The views of the Andes makes the experience even more enjoyable! I’m inspired to return and spend more time here. ❤️‍🔥

We enjoyed a wonderful day out at the Susana Balbo winery and Osadia de Crear restaurant. The tour covered the history of the winery and the winemaker, then took us through the various stages of production, culminating in an extensive tasting. Lunch was a lazy three hour affair, featuring a delicious tasting menu, accompanied by fine wines from the estate. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

We had half a day to experience a winery while driving from Mendoza to San Rafael. We were a little put off by all the Mendoza area winery reviews that said you needed reservations, lunch or dinner pairings or that gates would be closed and not available for walk-in tastings. We were so happy to find Susana Balbo! We arrived without reservations and was met outside by Florencia (I hope we remembered the name correctly). She asked us if we were there for a tour, for tasting, for a lunch/wine pairing, etc. We said we just wanted to order some glasses of wine and enjoy the beautiful view. She explained the options, walked us to an outdoor sofa and brought us a menu with all their wines by the glass/bottle. We sampled 5 different wines by the glass. The prices were extremely reasonable and the pours were generous. We were also pleasantly surprised that they had a large variety of white and rose wines (we’re not huge red wine fans) in addition to the normal Malbec. It was the perfect chill way to spend a few hours enjoying good wine and a great view. I highly recommend you give Susana Balbo a try if you’re in the area, especially if you don’t need a tour and just want to plan your own inexpensive, relaxed, casual tasting. They were just getting the grill going as we were leaving and the food smelled awesome. I have no doubt their food/wine pairings are great too. I wish we had time to make a longer day out of our visit and have lunch or dinner. We also saw several people sitting around the property with a picnic basket prepared by the staff. Looked very romantic.

I had the pleasure of visiting Susana Balbo for a wine tasting and tour, and I must say it was one of the best vineyard experiences I've had! From start to finish, the entire experience was well-organized and truly memorable, but what made it even more special was our guide, Florencia (Flor). Flor was an absolute delight — her warmth, humor, and infectious enthusiasm set the tone for the entire tour. She shared so much insight about the wines, the vineyard’s history, and the winemaking process in a way that felt both informative and personal. You could tell she genuinely loves what she does, and her passion made the experience feel engaging rather than just another guided tour. She answered all our questions with ease, and her storytelling added a personal touch that made the whole visit feel much more intimate. The vineyard itself is beautiful, with stunning views that only added to the charm. Flor took us through the grounds with such a relaxed and friendly vibe, making us feel like we were part of the process rather than just visitors. The wine tasting was fantastic, offering a perfect mix of wines that highlighted the vineyard’s craftsmanship. We even got to taste a few limited editions, which was an added bonus! I left the vineyard with a deeper appreciation for both the art of winemaking and the people who make it happen. If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend taking the tour and, if possible, asking for Flor. She truly made the day unforgettable, and I can’t wait to return!

Viña Cobos is a remarkable winery in Argentina, known for its high-quality wines that are among the country's best. The Malbec Bramare from the Chanares Estate and Marchieli vineyard in 2017 is particularly exceptional. Their modern and sophisticated facilities provide an elegant atmosphere for wine tasting. Visiting Viña Cobos offers an opportunity to understand how terroir impacts wine by sampling the same wine from various regions.
Magnificent experience. Ana was outstanding and incredibly knowledgeable. The small bites were a fantastic touch and the wines are world class.

This is Paul Hobb's winery in Valley de UCO. Hobbs arrived here in 1988, and recognized the potential for producing world class Malbec. At Vina Cobos he has produced 100 point rated wines on multiple occasions. We had a tour of the winery, and a tasting of 5 wines - a chardonnay, and 4 Malbecs. Included were two entry level Malbecs, from different parcels of land, one fruit forward, and the second with deeper dark fruit and string tannins. Then we tasted 2019 Viña Cobos Zingaretti Estate Malbec, and2021 Viña Cobos Vinculum Malbec. (Both rated 96 by James Suckling), exquisite! The estate buildings are impressive, with four tasting rooms. The winemaking areas are spotlessly clean, in keeping with the precision of the attention to detail in the wine making. Our host was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Yesterday, I had a fantastic time at Hacienda del Plata winery in Mendoza. I rode my bicycle there for lunch and opted for the higher level wine pairings. The restaurant, which was opened by chef Cesar nine months ago, is located just off a main road but still boasts a beautiful setting. The winery building itself is impressive. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive as they served me their delightful food and wines.
Lunch at the Hacienda Del Plata is a wonderful experience of beautifully crafted wines and traditional delicious Argentinian food. May, the restaurant host, was excellent in explaining our wines and some history about the place. She let us look around the cellars during our meal and presented the wines expertly. Caesar, the chef, was superb in explaining the different dishes he served us, a great sense of humour and excellent English which helped us greatly. This will remain one of our best memories of our visit to the Mendoza province and we were very impressed by all the local wines there in general. Well done to the restaurant’s whole team at this bodega, they’re what makes the experience so memorable in addition to the food and the wines. Thank you.

We were able to secure a booking for two at late notice for lunch. Bodega Hacienda del Plata has a very unique ‘boutique’ feel that was in sharp contrast to some of the more commercial winery’s we visited in the area - which was delightful! Walking through the vineyard with a glass of wine was a special experience and the four course meal (with paired wines) was excellent in terms of taste and very well priced. It was nice to meet the family of the current owners and the service we received was exceptional. Highly recommended.

Rodrigo, our knowledgeable guide, took us through the entire winemaking process, sharing his expertise and passion for the craft. From grape to glass, we learned about the careful attention and dedication that goes into creating these exceptional wines. The tour was informative, engaging, and thoroughly enjoyable. We left with a newfound appreciation for the art of winemaking and a few bottles of our favorite sparkling wines. Highly recommend this winery and Rodrigo's expert guidance - a must-visit for wine enthusiasts!

The staff made an effort to speak English which we really appreciated, and the tour was honestly unbelievable. We learned a lot and the quality of sparkling wine was so much more then we would havethought. We would have loved to bring home a lot more of this bodega. Highly recommend !!

Bodega Vistalba is a sophisticated winery that offers tours, tastings, and a wine bar/restaurant. The estate features well-kept grounds with rows of olive trees and picturesque mountain views. Visitors praise the exceptional wine quality and knowledgeable staff. Although some guests were unable to take a tour during their visit, they were impressed by the beautiful architecture and pleasant atmosphere. The winery's design allows for leisurely walks and exploration of the estate.
Fantastic experience today enjoying their reasonably priced lunch package which included bread, charcuterie platter, filled focaccia, dessert, coffee and a bottle of reserve wine. The food was excellent. So was the service. So was the wine! The fit out of the wine bar area is tasteful and modern and you can also choose to sit outside and enjoy the sun and views of mountains and vineyards.

I visited last year because I was staying down the road. I had never had Vistalba wine before but was so pleasantly surprised, not only with the quality of the wine but the tour. The grounds are beautiful and the tour was very small and felt personal. I did the premium tour - would highly recommend! Make sure to try their olive oil too!

Gorgeous experience. The estate is well designed for walking and exploring, the wine is spectaculars we had the six course pairing and the food was really solid. Nothing too complex or extravagant in terms of creativity, bht the purpose is to make the wine shine which it does. Expect many roses and whites in the summer time, highly recommend their Semillon. Would come back and bring many more friends.

If you like sea food and a great selection of wine this is a must. They also have amazing meat selections but was definitely worth the trip. You are treated extremely well and is a amazing experience to be a part off.

The wine tour with Franko was excellent, he really knows his wine, and the wine itself was exceptionally good. Really really impressed with this place, very well upkept, the architecture on the buildings is so unique. Super nice staff and just an all around pleasant atmosphere. Carolina was super helpful and sweet and spoke perfect English and Spanish. Definitely want to bring my family and friends back here
Patrick T — Google review
Overrated. Cheese platter and Spanish hams were excellent. Table setup was poor - constantly have waiters walking past most tables. But most importantly .... you CAN'T do a wine tasting with lunch. Only wine by the the bottle or a few basic wines by the glass. Why don't they offer a wine tasting menu at the restaurant? Serious fail
Bryan C — Google review
Amazing place with the best entourage and grape fields in the Vistalba. It begs for Instagram or photo shoot. Unfortunately the service and the food is not on par while rabbit was ok (though better mention it is not rabbit, but meat roll), the see food that they prize themselves is very bad - it is old and overcooked. Scallops were almost brown and very rubbery, crab meat was old. And I’ve not seen any place that serves crab claws without cracker or at least pre-cracked. After asking for one, we were given woodpicks (not sure why they are not served with the meal).

Very nice vineyard, their selection is on Malbec type of grapes. They also offer a very nice restaurant which we were too late to join, but we did the afternoon tour. We bought a case of 6 a nice selection of wines.

We loved our tasting at this winery. Beautiful, state of the art facility. Mauro spent over an hour with us on a tour of this beautiful winery. We got to choose the 5 wines we wanted to taste which we did in a tasting room upstairs with a great view! Excellent wines! Excellent experience.
Dania D — Google review
To start with, delicious wines. I enjoyed every single one I tasted. I had a wonderful tour in English with Mauro. He explained everything very well and answered all of our questions. We began outside with the vines and toured through the facility, as he explained everything along the way. We finished first outside with the beautiful view and then sat down for our tasting, which included some nice cheese and crackers and fruits and nuts to enjoy along with the tasting. This was definitely my favorite tour and my favorite wines I have tried in Mendoza.

Fantastic trip to Budequer today - Mauro was extremely knowledgable and provided a great tour of the facility and vineyards despite the 40 degree heat!! Wine was also superb! Would definitely recommend a visit to this beautiful vineyard.

What a great winery! We managed to get in without a reservation and though they offered just a tasting we opted for the tour. Glad we did! Nate was amazing telling us everything there was to know and spoiled us with generous tastings. The site is beautiful and cool that they incorporate local artists into their building. The wines were delicious (especially the winemakers blend) and the prices were pretty good! Definitely recommend.
Scott B — Google review
We had such a lovely and personalised tour by Mauro. The wines were so good, especially for the price! The Corte de Bodega was outstanding (only $6,400 pesos) as Mauro mentioned their wine is produced for local consumption as opposed to mass exportation. To us this was a must for anyone wanting great wine and service without paying for a label!!! All other staff were also excellent with arranging transport back to the city (thank you once again Valentina).

A stunning winery with insane views of the snow capped mountains. The wines were delicious and the place itself was super classy. Learned a lot about growing wines at elevation in difficult condition!

Visiting Matervini was an unforgettable experience. Besides the marvelous vineyard views and stunning landscapes, what truly made the visit special were the people. Santiago, one of the owners, and Gonzalo, who took such wonderful care of us, were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. They made the tasting not only educational but also warm and memorable. Each wine we tried was outstanding, but the Finca was absolutely superb — elegant, complex, and a true highlight. If you are in Mendoza, Matervini is a must-visit: world-class wines, breathtaking scenery, and hospitality that makes you feel at home.

Unreal wine tasting experience. The setting on the patio overlooking the vineyards and the Andes with a cool breeze and warm sun was a close to perfection as can be. The wines are off the charts balanced, diverse, full of character - world class and best in class. My guide Nico was so friendly and helpful, explaining with the help of pictures and even rocks. I’ve been to countless tastings over the years and this is the first time I have been joined a wine club (no sales pitch required, the wines sold themselves!)

Penedo Borges, a boutique winery located in a charming and sophisticated setting, offers an exceptional experience. With its cozy yet stylish atmosphere, it provides the perfect backdrop for enjoying a delicious meal complemented by their remarkable selection of wines. The attentive staff ensures that every customer is well taken care of, making the visit even more pleasurable. Prisma wines come highly recommended for those looking for excellent pairings.
We got married here and they did an amazing job. The event coordinator is very organized and great at her job. The entire staff were very helpful and professional. Every one that attended commented how great the food was. We couldn’t have been happier having our wedding at Penelope Borges. I’d have any type of event here. And to cap it off, great wine.

We paid for a tour in English and a 3 course meal. The tour was in Spanish, the tour consisted of walking through a glass door, where there are metal tanks and a few barrels. The guide said they were busy and couldn't see the rest, she also said they were watering the crops so we didn't see that either. The elements of the meal were all tasty but together was roasted veg and salads with meat. The venue was lovely and the atmosphere was tranquil, views spectacular. The experience was super expensive for what you get and we didn't buy any wine at their prices either.

Requested a reservation last week to 31/03/22, for 3 people. The bodega confirmed and requested some additional info. I sent those info and waited some days but no reply from Penedo Borges. Today, closer to the trip in a few days and worried about the lack of communication, I sent another email asking if everything was ok. To my disgust, they replied that the reservations are full now. Outrageous.

Don't eat lunch here! Worst tourist trap in Mendoza! The menu is way overvalued for what they offer. The staff is distracted at best, pushy the rest of the time. They pretend to be the Sheraton, but they are not even a Burger King. Management, if you are reading this, please clean up your act. You have no idea what you are doing. (Translated by Google) I booked to go to Sunset, there were food trucks, the people there were locals. It doesn't kill me because we came from having experiences in very good wineries but to be cheap and do something it was good. The path to the winery once you entered the complex is nice since you see all the vineyards that are super spacious. I would go for an afternoon where I have no other plan or empty time. The winery dogs are divine, cheeseburgers especially. We named the 3rd dog cheeseburger.

(Translated by Google) The place is beautiful, and the wine is delicious. A guy played the saxophone and guitar for two hours. A real gem! But I'll list the downsides: 1. We wanted burgers, but they were running out, and they offered us free sirloin steaks, which we accepted. The wine was completely burnt, very difficult to swallow, and dry. 2. It took an hour and a half to prepare them; they don't have the infrastructure to handle that many people. 3. The poor guy who served us (who was the same guy who served our drinks at the entrance) took care of practically everything and forgot the things we had asked for (obviously). 4. The bartenders seemed overwhelmed and inexperienced.

CAVAS DE WEINERT, located in Chacras de Coria and under Brazilian ownership since 1975, is a top-notch industrial winery that produces 3 million liters of wine annually. The modern production facilities stand in contrast to the historic underground cavas dating back to the 1890s, featuring classic French oak casks.

The best meal we had in Argentina so far! Had a wonderful lunch surrounded by a beautiful vineyard and garden. We did 6 course lunch and every dish was so delicious and beautifully presented, made with fresh ingredients. Really enjoyed their wines as well. Service was friendly and excellent. Definitely deserve the Michelin Green Star and worth a visit if you are in Mendoza.

Worth mentioning that the chef has been awarded with a Michelin star as well as a green star. I would recommend this place to everyone!!

And I hate to say this, like, maybe you don't go to a super fancy restaurant for this but... Best Bread Ever (maybe 2nd best but that's not the point). It's crazy good. We visited through Ampora Tours and thoroughly enjoyed our tour at the vineyard. Our guide, Laura, lead us through the vineyard via bicycle and allowed us to try the different grapes to compare. The land is gorgeous and tells a story. We followed up with a tasting of what they have to offer and they made ordering cases to be sent home very easy! They have some great new things in the works at this estate, I highly recommend checking them out. If we have the opportunity to visit Argentina again, this will for sure be on the list!

We did a few wineries yesterday and this one was my absolute favourite. Desiree was very lovely to us, explained us a lot about the wines, the owner and the history of the land and the vineyard. We asked to taste the more exclusive ones because we are limited in the wines we can take home and she offered us a nice range of 5 different wines to taste. You get a decent glass of wine per bottle so that you can properly taste them! Ofcourse be prepared to pay a little more if you ask for the higher range wines. As a European I still think the prices for the tasting (including tour through the vineyard in a golfcart) are completely fair and reasonable! Will def recommend this to anyone I know if I have the chance!

(Translated by Google) Hello, I'm going to try to put into words something very difficult to explain: sensations. To begin, the walk to the winery is a constant delight, with the mountain range in the background and some banana trees framing the route. Upon entering, the aesthetics and care are impeccable, and then we are greeted by Cecila, whom I'll dedicate a paragraph to later. All the furnishings are of unusual beauty and in a perfect state of preservation, which pairs perfectly with the architecture of the place. Her story is very captivating and full of emotion, combining the past and the present, their paths constantly intertwining. The tour is extremely educational and unhurried, culminating in a tasting of three of her varietals with a bonus that I'll detail later. Who is Cecilia? The simple answer would be "The owner," but, and this is totally personal, I don't think that simple description does her justice. She is the person who transmits to you the passion for what she does, the excitement of everything she experienced there when she began her journey through this wonderful and surprising world of viticulture. She remembers her ancestors with great pride, but also swells with pride when she tells you about her achievements. She patiently answered a thousand and one questions we asked, and was very, very educational at every turn. To top it off, at the tasting, she showed us unique aromas and flavors. Do you know what the plus was? Cecilia appeared with an extremely exclusive bottle, where, in just a couple of sips, we took a unique journey through absolutely fascinating flavors. For all this and much more, I don't recommend you go; I tell you, you must visit this winery. Cecilia, thank you so much!!! For the attention you gave us, you made your passion and love for what you do very clear. We hope to visit again this summer.

(Translated by Google) Perhaps 6 stars should be enabled to rate this winery. Perhaps the wine fan, the curious or anyone who needs a different experience should visit this winery. There is no more perhaps, but a resounding pleasure in meeting our host Cecilia, owner, but above all passionate about her winery and instilling her love for this project. This one amazed us on a cold May morning with a warmth that is not found in many wineries. Don't expect commercial imprints, or monologues plagued by monotony, but rather history, family, immersion in the industry, anecdotes that are gems... And the wines. Honestly the best we have tried. Grateful for the sincerity we received and the unexpected two hours of an invaluable lesson... Wine and life. Vino y vida.

Bodega Mauricio Lorca, a real “autor de vinos” and gastronomy. We were delighted by the “Tres Pasos Menu” with the pairing wines, the cab Sauvignon Fantasia 2022 was delightful, followed by the Mauricio Lorca Gran Blend 2017 and for the dessert wine we were surprised with the spanking wine “Lois” in honour of Enrique Foster’s wife. Dinning in front the best scenery in front the Cerró de la Plata y los Pre Andres. We came to celebrate my father in Law 80’s birthday and we would recommend 100% to visit and have lunch the Bodega Foster Lorca.
Carmen_360london — Google review
A winery that produces excellent quality wine in limited quantities. You can visit on a tour where they explain the winemaking process, then teach you to taste wines, also include optional lunch. The day before you go, you'll need to choose the wine group you want to try (if you don't know which one to choose, you can call and ask for a recommendation; they're very friendly). It's recommended to stay for lunch to avoid driving after drinking wine. Ups: Friendly attention, excellent wines, a wide range of varieties, it's 30 minutes from downtown Mendoza, allow digital wallets and credit cards. Down: They could show the work at the field and inside the winery with pictures, photos, or videos.

This bodega is an absolute little gem! The sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, making our tour and tasting a memorable experience. The selection of wines was impressive, with fantastic blends that catered to all palates. The condiments provided were just enough to enhance the tasting. The relaxed organisation put no pressure on the timing, allowing us to thoroughly enjoy the experience. The atmosphere was friendly, welcoming, and peaceful. Everything regarding our reservation was smooth and punctual, and even though our group was smaller than anticipated, it didn't affect the quality of our experience. The price is fair and truly worth it. I highly recommend this place.

My visit to Bodega Sottano was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the warm welcome from Adriana and the informative tour led by Gerardo. From the moment I arrived, I felt like a valued guest, as Adriana greeted me with genuine hospitality and enthusiasm. Gerardo's tour was a highlight of the visit, as he expertly guided us through every step of the winemaking process, leaving no detail unexplained. His passion for winemaking was infectious, and his insights into the use of Croatian oak were particularly fascinating. As we explored the winery, it became evident that Bodega Sottano is a place where tradition meets innovation. The stunning framework provided a picturesque backdrop to our tasting experience, enhancing the enjoyment of the exceptional wines. Speaking of the wines, the Arcangel labels were an absolute standout. With its depth of flavor and impeccable balance, it surpassed all expectations and left a lasting impression on my palate. It truly is a testament to the skill and dedication of the winemakers at Bodega Sottano. In conclusion, my visit to Bodega Sottano was a truly memorable experience. From the warm hospitality of Adriana to the informative tour by Gerardo and, of course, the outstanding wines, every aspect exceeded my expectations. Whether you're a wine enthusiast or simply seeking a delightful summer outing, Bodega Sottano is a must-visit destination.

Otero Ramos Family Winery is a beautiful and charming winery located in Mendoza. The winery is known for its dedication to working harmoniously with nature to produce wines that truly reflect the unique characteristics of the terroir. Visitors have praised the stunning facilities, halls, and cellars, as well as the warm welcome from Diego who shared captivating stories about the family history and origins of the winery.
One of the best things experiences and wineries in Mendoza. The staff are truly exceptional, with so much knowledge of the region, they make the tour very personal and intimate. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking to tour a vineyard and taste some exceptional wines. We will definitely be going back on our next trip to Mendoza.

This was our favorite winery in Mendoza! I cannot recommend it enough and everyone who goes to the region must visit. They have a beautiful ground that is built around growing grapes and making wine sustainably (solar panels, reduced water consumption, and rescue geese onsite). As we went on many tours, this one stood out (even as our 4th tour) because of the unique education we received (on both wine making and wine tasting) and the family environment. From their DOC Malbec to their Chardonnay (especially the one that is not aged in oak), their wine is delicious. Go!

Every Sunday on the square is a local arts and crafts market along with a couple of antique stalls. There is something for everyone and the price of items are very reasonable and you can haggle a little! The stall holders generally produce the products you see. It doesn't really get going until 10 am with some stalls setting up at 11am. A taxi ride from Mendoza in 2020 was less than 650 pesos return using Uber with a journey time of 20 minutes. First, I'm not a fortune teller, second, I was going to buy and not ask for anything, and third, they should teach the employees that they should take good care of themselves, I'm not saying with sympathy, because it would be too much to ask. The production is lower now than it used to be in the past, so it is a unique tour through unused wine tanks. Our guide and all the employees were friendly and knowledgeable. The winds were all fresh and delicious, especially the aged one. Highly recommend coming here if tasting wine in Luján De Cuyo.

(Translated by Google) Excellent place. We were with my friends on 9/27. Very good wines, very pleasant attention from the owner, the barbecue was exceptional. It is on par with any renowned winery. 100% recommended experience. (Original) Excelente lugar. Estuvimos con mis amigos el 27/9. (Translated by Google) Excellent winery run by its owners who explain with the passion that they make their wines. In our case we did a tasting of 9 varietals and then they waited for us with a complete barbecue. For personal reasons we had to delay the agreed time and they very kindly understood and waited for us anyway. We appreciate that gesture.

(Translated by Google) If you come to Mendoza, don't miss the experience of tasting 9 wines and having lunch (asado). None of the wineries give you the attention of Miriam (the owner), who explains in detail and with a lot of love from the harvest, the production to the bottling (and the tasting). Each wine is better than the last. For red wine lovers: be careful with whites (Sauvignon Blanc), they are a one-way route. The rosé and rosatto crown the experience of that part. When you get to the reds, even the youngster of the house (the varietal Malbec) makes you start a beautiful experience. Then you go, the one that for us was the king (the Ancellotta), passing the Malbec, Cabernet Souvignon and we arrive at the reserva: the tenth great reserve. We chose the ancellotta for lunch, a roast with some empanadas and some delicious pickles. If you come to Mendoza, don't miss this experience. Seriously, they're not going to blame him.

(Translated by Google) We visited the Winery individually and coordinated the visit directly with Miriam, who happens to be the owner of the Winery. I want to start with her. Very warm, excellent professional, and has given us an exceptional visit that no other Winery has given us to date. It was a visit of more than 2 hours. and he made the most of it, he explained to us the entire process for making the wine, step by step, and the tasting was unique. I want to highlight that it is a visit that, although it is organized, everything happens, the place for the talk, the anecdotes, etc. It is not strictly structured or automated. I'm going to continue with the tasting and the wines. We tried two white wines, a rosé, six red wines (among which was an exquisite Ancellota) and a sparkling wine. All exquisite, abundant drinks. Of course we took several wines home, which I must highlight that due to their value for sale, price-quality ratio, is laughable because they are special and excellent wines. Without a doubt more than recommended to visit it. The tasting is paid but the value is also insignificant in relation to the amount of wines to be tasted. We hope to return soon to enjoy lunch.

The tasting is guided by Myriam, the owner of the winery herself, who shares her experience and years of work with admirable warmth and passion. He explains every detail clearly and has no problem answering any questions. During the visit you will tour the vineyards, the winery and even the barrels. Afterwards you enjoy a delicious barbecue in a beautiful patio, all included in the same price. The wines, in addition to being excellent, are super accessible. An unmissable experience! Tasty white wines, mid-range reds with good body and present tannins. The high-end wines are limited edition and seemed interesting to me, but I didn't try them. I will definitely be back. The tour through all the sectors of the winery and the wine process, impeccable, very clear, and above all very warm and intimate, unlike other places we visited. On summer weekends, the place welcomes small groups for 5-course menus over the fire with pairing and dessert, in the back area of the winery, with a barbecue area, grill and pool for an affordable price, with the only condition: Let the reason for meeting and sharing be wine. Not only did we learn, but it was a true EXPERIENCE, as she previously presented.

A beautiful short treck along a creek, leading to a nice waterfall. Path is loosely marked so part of the fun is finding your way among the bushes. Truly quiet place, during our walk we only saw a family. There is a small entry fee, about $3.00.
