Nestled in the heart of St. George, Utah, the St. George Utah Temple stands as a magnificent testament to history and architecture. Completed in 1877, it is recognized as the oldest and largest standing temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Designed by architect Truman O. Angell, this stunning structure reaches an impressive height of 174 feet and features a foundation made from local volcanic rock along with sandstone walls sourced from nearby quarries.
The St. George Temple Christmas lights offer a peaceful and family-friendly holiday experience, perfect for those seeking simple seasonal beauty. When I visited, I was enchanted by the thousands of twinkling lights that transformed the grounds into a winter wonderland. The carefully arranged displays create a warm, inviting atmosphere, with paths lined in glowing colors that make for a wonderful evening stroll. What stood out to me was how inclusive and welcoming the event felt. Families, friends, and couples wandered through the grounds, taking pictures and enjoying the festive ambiance. It’s a place where you can slow down and appreciate the holiday season in a quiet, relaxed setting—perfect for those who love Christmas lights but prefer a more tranquil setting than bustling city displays. If you’re in St. George during the holidays, I highly recommend taking the time to see the lights. It’s a lovely way to spend an evening, whether you’re with loved ones or simply looking for a peaceful moment to soak in the season.

We stopped by the St. George Temple while passing through town on a road trip, and we’re so glad we did. The temple is even more beautiful in person than in the photos—its architecture and craftsmanship are truly impressive. It was a peaceful and inspiring place to stretch our legs and take in the work of generations past. A worthwhile stop if you’re driving through the area.
Jon J — Google review
While traveling from Snow Canyon State Park to Las Vegas, we made an unplanned stop around 7 PM. Although we were unable to visit the temple itself, the visitor center provided a wealth of information. It features pictures of the temple's interior, which were quite interesting. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

I came here when a really good friend got married last year. St George is a very unique place. It's right in the middle of a rocky Arizona and mountainous Utah. The combination is like nothing else. The temple is also very attractive. It was one of the first temples ever built and you can feel the nostalgia at the temple.
Bryan L — Google review
Even if you're not a member, you can learn so much from the visitor center! This is my childhood Temple! I love the spirit that I feel here. Growing up before I could go inside, I still felt the peace. Now that I've been able to make promises with God and grow closer to him as well as help my ancestors do the same, I feel so much more connected to this house of the Lord!
Charles Y — Google review
A Beautiful LDS Temple and house of the Lord. Wander the grounds, enjoy it's beautiful peaceful feeling.
Patti W — Google review
Great experience with our family visiting this beautiful historic landmark. The visitor center next to the temple is perfect, if not of the LDS faith, to learn about the pioneers that settled and built this temple back in the mid 1800s.
Gens L — Google review
Insider POV: I was LDS for 37 years. When you become a Mormon, there are a lot of things they don't tell you about the temple: the veiled faces, chants, secret handshakes and passwords, weird outfits, and oaths. You have to give the church 10% of your money to go there- and if you don't give the church their $, you don't "get to be with your family forever." They hold your "forever family" hostage if you don't obey. They say they don't talk about it because it's "too sacred to speak of". And every week in church, they all talk about how great it is they are "gods chosen people". It's a beautiful building for sure... but if you think it sounds like it could be a cult... there are plenty of videos on YouTube that show what goes on in there and you can see for yourself.

The St. George Tabernacle, originally a church and courthouse, is now open for public events. This historic Mormon monument took 13 years to build, with stones hand-quarried from the nearby foothills. The twin spiral staircases were intricately hand-carved. It serves as a gathering place for worship and community events, offering free guided tours to explain its architecture and purpose. Visitors can enjoy various free events such as Independence Day celebrations with civil war era artifacts and performances.
We love the Tabernacle. It's a beautiful building with so much history and heritage. They offer free tours and free concerts regularly. The acoustics are unreal!

Came here 27 years ago from Wales,UK, amazing architecture throughout. We're back (oct 25th, 2024) to revisit with friends. Unfortunately, it says it is open 10am - 6pm, but it's all locked up for some renovation. Very, very disappointed to not be able to go inside.
David B — Google review
I went there on a beautiful day of Sunday. Welcomed by a nice and warm couple who are volunteering introducing the history of this tabernacle.

We love the St George Tabernacle. It's a beautiful building, ripe with so much history. It was a privilege to be able to catch a Christmas-themed performance there last month. This place is a must visit if you're ever at the historic arts district of St. George.

Beautiful bold building in downtown St George. If older architecture is your thing, you should visit the building. We went early in the morning and there was no one around. There is the art exhibit area right next to it, so it's a great place to relax and see some things you wouldn't otherwise see.
Nick J — Google review
Beautiful, old building. Amazing acoustics. We toured the place while a quartet was rehearsing for a performance that night. Lots of symbolism and history.
Sarah H — Google review
Our family thoroughly enjoyed visiting the St. George Tabernacle. It's such a cool building, and looked especially amazing at night. A very talented group was playing when we passed by, so we caught the end of the show. The history of the tabernacle is awesome as well. Loved this place!

The St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm is an educational and entertaining attraction in St. George, Utah. It features well-preserved dinosaur tracks, fossilized fish, plant life, and a working fossil preparation lab. The museum also showcases five life-size models of prehistoric animals and offers self-guided exhibits for visitors to explore at their own pace.
St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm We’ve always loved the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site, but bringing our three-year-old for the first time was an entirely new level of fun. From the moment we walked in, he was grinning ear to ear—completely in awe of the massive footprints and fossil displays. The museum itself is well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to explore without feeling crowded or overwhelmed. The exhibits strike a perfect balance between being informative and visually exciting, with plenty to capture the imagination of both kids and adults. Seeing real dinosaur tracks up close was a thrill, and our little one was especially fascinated by the life-sized models and interactive areas. It’s a fantastic spot for any dino-lover, young or old. If you’re in the area, it’s absolutely worth a visit!
James B — Google review
We had such a nice visit when we went a couple weeks ago. I was looking for a place my son with special needs could run around and get some wiggles out during our road trip and this was the perfect stop. Everyone was so kind to him despite him basically just running around the whole place, which is usual for him, and not paying much attention. They have a small but great kids play area inside with games that even kept him entertained for enough time for us to shop in the gift shop. The outside play area was fun as well. My older son loves dinosaurs and enjoyed the exhibits. He also loved the informative lady who helped us. Great experience, definitely recommend for the whole family.
Linda M — Google review
This is a really cool exhibit! The building itself was constructed around genuine, fossils, and dinosaur tracks. The indoor area has lots of reading stations rich with information and facts regarding the geographic area. The exterior is a nice relaxing walk around factual circumstances regarding different dinosaur areas. More suitable for older children.
CJay T — Google review
We came on a road trip from Orange County, California, and we added this activity so my friend's daughter can learn about dinosaurs. The facility is clean and affordable. They had lots of artifacts and small screens playing videos. The outside is nicely set up as well for a little walk with dinasours statues for pictures.
Ileana G — Google review
Very small place. We used our get out pass. Mostly fossils but not a whole lot displayed. Probably cool if you like paleontology but kids will get bored fast.
Heather — Google review
This was an incredible dinosaur experience. They do not have the normal large displays of bones but do have some and have a fun interactive space outside for the kids. More importantly, they have an incredible display of tracks teaching you about migratory patterns and the day to day life of a dinosaur. They even have extremely rare baby dinosaur prints. They have a living piece of rock that still blooms and purifies oxygen that survived from about 190 million years ago. Would def recommend going and supporting this place. Becx was there today and she gave us incredible indepth info about the dig site and the trace fossils present.
Lauren Z — Google review
Friendly and helpful staff. $10 admission fee and lots of prints and info to take in. Always been a fan of Dinosaurs so this was neat to see.
MIKE G — Google review
I had an amazing time at the museum today. It was fascinating. But what made it best was Berkeley, a volunteer at the museum. I was touring by myself and asked her a question. Once she gauged my interests, she walked around the museum with me and pointed out things she thought I would be interested in. She even told me where I could see more dinosaur tracks locally and also in Nevada where I’m heading next. I would’ve enjoyed the museum anyway, but Berkeley’s enthusiasm and her knowledge made it significantly more exciting. A huge thank you to Berkeley!

The Brigham Young Winter Home is a 19th-century restored residence of the Mormon pioneer, Brigham Young, which showcases period furnishings and art. It is a significant historical landmark that provides insight into the life and times of the church during that era. Visitors can gain a better understanding of church history by touring the property, regardless of their religious affiliation. The home's location in St. George also highlights its significance as one of Brigham Young's earliest winter residences.
Passing through St George and found this place from the map: Brigham Young’s winter home. Planned to just look around but found out that you need to get in through a tour. We walked around the outside of the house for less than 10 minutes and got in for a tour. The missionary guides were very knowledgeable and were willing to adjust the tour timing according to our availability. The house was built when Brigham Young was still alive, and he lived in it during the winters due to his health conditions. Some things in there are indeed 100+ years old, preserved from when he’s alive. Pretty cool and worth for a visit if you have half an hour!
Charise M — Google review
Neat free tour highlighting the history of the St. George area and the early church leadership in Utah. Very good tour, some steep stairs, but worth it! Kids loved seeing the old stoves, irons, beds, and chamber pots! Mind boggling for them that people pissed in a pot before indoor plumbing!
Larry H — Google review
Tours are free and the only way to go through the interior. Tour guide was knowledgeable though a little condescending. Artifacts are interesting though most seem to be period pieces rather than original to the home. Didn't let that put you off, it's an interesting, beautiful place with a rich story.
David C — Google review
My husband and I enjoyed the history lesson of the Church of Latter Day Saints and tour of Brigham Young’s home. I was surprised that we were the only visitors when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. Our guide, a Mormon missionary, was interesting and well informed.
Eileen K — Google review
Beautiful place, most of the things inside are real but some are replicas, but still the tour was pretty cool, the guide was amazing and kind, the house seems just like the real one, I recommend coming, the tours are free just ask.
Joaquín C — Google review
Historical landmark guided by free tours. Interesting to see how radically different houses were set up 150 years ago compared to today. Some original pieces and some time period pieces. Really interesting to see original window panes and how they waver overtime.
B W — Google review
I can see why they chose St. George. Its so beautiful. If it were just a little bit bigger, I might have moved there instead of Tucson.
Bronson A — Google review
Visiting the Brigham Young Winter Home in St. George was a delightful and enriching experience. The historic house is beautifully restored, with intriguing pioneer-era details like hand-painted faux-wood trim and sagebrush-patterned adobe bricks. Our guide was not only friendly and knowledgeable but also engaging and great with kids. It only took about 20–30 minutes, but it felt like a meaningful journey into early Utah history. And bonus—I learned so much about Brigham Young’s winter life and the construction of the St. George Temple. Best part? It was completely free! A must-see while in St. George.

Jacob Hamblin Home is a historic 19th-century house in Santa Clara, just outside of St. George, Utah. It was the residence of Mormon pioneer Jacob Hamblin and his large family from 1863 to 1870. Known for his friendship with Native American people, Hamblin allowed his home to be a refuge for them.
Went and took a private tour of this old pioneer home. We learned about Jacob Hamblin and his service with the Native people from this area. We also learned all about his orchard and how they protected their livestock from being stolen. My kids enjoyed the tour as well.

In this place, I learned about Jacob Hamblin and his brave family. Jacob Hamblin, a 19th-century Mormon pioneer and missionary, built bridges on understanding with Native Americans in the American Southwest. He learned their languages, mediated conflicts, and facilitated peaceful coexistence. His efforts fostered cooperation, aiding in the settlement and development of the region while respecting indigenous cultures and traditions.

Town Square is a wonderful downtown gathering place for old & young. It's bordered by 3 historic buildings: LDS Tabernacle, Woodward School & the original Dixie Academy, a 1900s high school. Today it's a beautifully landscaped park including many lovely sculptures, a splash pad, carousel, shaded tables & benches and next to the Main Library. Restaurants are close by & all kinds of shopping too. Each spring the city holds a big Art Festival here! What a great place to be outside.

The park offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a lovely family outing. As you stroll along the well-maintained paths, you’ll be greeted by lush greenery and vibrant flower beds that add splashes of color everywhere you look. The gentle rustle of leaves and the soft chirping of birds create a soothing soundtrack, enhancing the peaceful ambiance. One of the highlights of the park is its fascinating collection of art sculptures, thoughtfully placed throughout the grounds. Each piece tells its own story and often prompts visitors to pause and reflect. Whether you’re admiring a whimsical metal creation or a striking stone figure, these artworks add an element of culture and creativity to your visit. Friday morning, weather is sunny with a little bit of breeze, so it was the perfect day for a park. Bathrooms were decent. There's a splash pad and little river here so make sure to bring extra clothes to change. There was a carousel that my daughter loved. $1 per person, kids that are 42" tall and shorter are free with a paying adult. I wish there's playground though, but little one still had fun so it it was still a good day ❤.

Judd's Store is a charming old-fashioned sweet shop located in a vintage retail space with a tall, frontier-style facade. The store offers a delightful selection of ice cream, candy, and sodas displayed on wall-to-wall shelves. It also serves light bites such as soups and sandwiches for lunch. The nostalgic atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for kids to pick out colorful confections and enjoy their treats at one of the small tables inside.
This is a must-see in St. George! My kids love visiting here for the yummy breadsticks and ice cream. I love all the vintage candy and knowing I'm supporting a historic business. Surprisingly, this is also a fantastic lunch spot! Probably the best soup in town and craveable sandwiches. It's a bit pricey, but it makes everyone feel like a kid in a candy store again.

What a whimsical store! The candy selection was plentiful, and this store stocks some really fun soda options. I grabbed myself a Sarsaparilla soda, and my travel buddy and I ordered two bowls of their cheddar broccoli soup and a bread stick for each of us. What a great lunch!! Thanks Judd’s Store for a lovely experience on our vacation!

The oldest business in St. George. As I was told by one of the workers this store is 111 years old as of 2022. Great little store with ice cream, bottled drinks and old time candy. Perfect location and stop if you at the splash pad/ river right in the middle of time. The employee were nice and helpful. The store isn’t big but they get you in and out quickly. Great treat shop.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a hidden gem! I stumbled upon this adorable little ice cream and coffee shop tucked away in Ancestor Square, right by a peaceful water feature—such a charming spot. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a big smile. They even offered free samples, which was such a nice touch! Tuacahn Center for the Arts is a nonprofit organization that offers a unique entertainment experience in St. George. The center features Broadway-level shows set in an outdoor amphitheater surrounded by breathtaking red rock canyon views, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for visitors. In addition to the outdoor amphitheater, Tuacahn also has smaller indoor theaters where guests can enjoy concerts and plays.
The Tuachan Amphitheater is always a fun show! It's great to be able to see some of our favorite characters come to life on stage! The actors do a fantastic job and the way the animals and background are involved in each production is fun. They offer snacks and have a gift shop. Parking isn't bad but leaving requires patience. There is only one way out and everyone is going that way. Everyone will get there eventually.
Chanell B — Google review
Nestled near the red rock mountains in St. George, Utah, this outdoor amphitheater offers an amazing setting. With stunning sets, a live orchestra, phenomenal performances, and beautiful weather (in September), this was a extraordinary experience. We will definitely be back soon!
Jalaire D — Google review
Had the most incredible experience last night watching Newsies. It was obvious how hard they trained because the show was AMAZING!! Best experience I’ve had at Tuachan and they never seem to fail at impressing me each time I come. If you’re by yourself or with your family come here because it’s truly a pleasure watching them!
Trevin D — Google review
Fantastic venue to see wonderful musical theater in a gorgeous environment. The talent is top tier and the production quality is very impressive. We have been coming for 7 years.

Little Mermaid was amazing!! Love being next to the red rocks. Tuachan is a beautiful place to watch Broadway shows. The area was clean and well-maintained. Love the water features!

Tuacahn Outdoor Theatre is absolutely stunning! We watched Newsies and were blown away, the dancing was incredible and full of energy, and the whole production was top-notch. The outdoor setting made it an unforgettable experience. Can’t wait to come back for another show!
Megan A — Google review
The shows were good - as always. I had little hope for the Wizard of Oz. The story is well known and I grew up with that song repeatedly sung in my family. It was a great show! What a pleasant surprise! The Saturday Market had great vendors and wonderful weather. You shouldn’t miss it.
Chris P — Google review
This place is very near stunning. They spared no expense. I’ve not seen a show here, we only came to the Saturday market on a whim. Thankfully, we came in the spring because I hear that the heat starting in late April to November is almost horrendous. I really just want to point out that the surroundings are well done and the view is almost incomparable.

The Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum, also known as the McQuarrie Memorial Museum, in St. George is a tribute to the early settlers of Utah. It houses a vast collection of artifacts and history from the pioneers who settled in the region in the mid-1850s under Brigham Young's leadership. The museum showcases relics, clothing, tools, and other items used by these settlers in their daily lives.
Wonderful museum. Interactive for kids. Can ring the bell, type on a typerwriter. Great place to see and learn about st george history and the early indians. Dori was an excellent 'docent'. Highly recommend!
Laura B — Google review
Very nice museum. Be sure to have one of the volunteers show you around. I would have liked to stay a lot longer. Very interesting and friendly People. Absolutely worth it.
Marianne M — Google review
This was a little gem of a museum. My 10 and 12 year old enjoyed it. They both enjoy history and there was a lot of artifacts from the pioneer days, along with information on how these early white settlers to this area functioned on a day to day basis, what tools they used, silk worm cultivation, etc. The museum staff were knowledgeable and friendly. the museum entrance fee is by donation and for the artifacts they have it was worth a nice donation. It’s definitely a good stop if you’re interested in the early Mormon church and pioneering.
Sweet W — Google review
Our family thoroughly enjoyed the museum on June 7, 2025. Our docent was enthusiastic, well-informed and very attentive to our questions. Her stories, knowledge and historical insight was amazing and we gained a new knowledge of the area and appreciation for the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Thank you!
Rich S — Google review
Such an amazing collection of Dixie history! I spent over 2 hours looking at things and still didn't get to all the rooms. I will be coming back to look some more! The docent was quite busy with a couple of other groups while I was there, so I didn't interrupt her to ask many questions. I do want to come again when it isn't busy so I can ask more questions and find out more about the amazing items. It was especially cool to get to see my great-great-grandmother's piece of the silk friendship quilt. I do wish they would display that quilt better because all the signatures weren't visible. My great-grandmother also signed it, but her piece wasn't visible.
Cezanne B — Google review
If you have relatives who settled St. George, this museum is a must visit. I don't, but I enjoyed seeing the collection of items from Erastus Snow and Brigham Young.
Michael B — Google review
Visited here today and the women volunteering there were very nice and answered all my questions. If you love old timey pioneer stuff and like looking at the belongings of dead people (which I do!) this is a fun historical museum to check out.
Renee L — Google review
If you are interested of how the locals started their community, this is the place for you. It's not a professional museum, but it's aptly managed, no entrance fee, but they'll accept donations, which, by all means, they deserve.

The Pioneer Courthouse, built in 1876, stands as a significant piece of St. George's historical and architectural heritage. Constructed from robust sandstone, this courthouse showcases the practical design principles favored by early settlers with its thick walls and straightforward lines. Over the years, it has served various purposes including a jailhouse, courtroom, office space, and even a schoolroom.
Really enjoyed our visit here with our kids! The volunteers and missionaries really make this historical site come alive! Admission is free, they have a donation box. We spent about an hour here learning about the history of the area and how this building contributed to early pioneer life. They have a cute little gift shop containing locally sourced gifts and foods. They allow pictures making it a fun little stop.

The Little Black Mountain Petroglyphs Site is situated near the Utah-Arizona border and offers a short, easy 1-mile hike through massive sandstone rock formations adorned with ancient petroglyphs. The site features over 500 individual rock-art designs from various ancient cultures, making it a historical treasure trove. However, accessing the main route may be challenging due to a gravel pit lease, so visitors are advised to take an alternative route.
Beautiful site, the ride in is a bit tough if you're not used to off road, no problem for us. Covered table and restroom provided. You will be alone and a few miles on a sand/gravel road. Google provided directions not great. Just pick your way to it.
Michael P — Google review
The road starts nice but gets rougher past the mine entrance - look for the dark sign on the left. Good tires and some ground clearance are useful. There are several nice panels but they seem to have preferred the tops of boulders. Picnic table and pit toilet are available.
Roger ( — Google review
I never knew there were petroglyphs out here and very excited to discover this spot. Very well maintained parking area and trails. Very informative signs to help understand the history. I took my children and they really enjoyed exploring the drawings and trying to figure out what the petroglyphs were about. Beware the dirt road there is very bumpy, our dog took a couple really good jumps in the back of the suv which scared the crap of of her. But definitely worth the visit. There's a pit bathroom and a picnic table also.
James B — Google review
Such a cool site! This off-roaring route takes some skill and at least a high-clearance vehicle to access. I wouldn’t recommend with any sort of sedan or even some 2WD cars; I didn’t have too much trouble for my Ford Escape but it’s a few miles of slow, bumpy, rutted terrain to get to the trailhead. Once here, the whole walk is about a quart of a mile, if it’s even that much! There’s an east side and west side and tons of petroglyphs. It was totally beautiful and we only saw one other couple there. Lots of side by sides and motorbikes riding by too, and they can go far faster than me. Be on the lookout for oncoming traffic!
Justin F — Google review
You are definitely going to need at least an all-wheel drive with high clearance. The off-road and all-terrain vehicles and dirt bikes have made deep cuts on the road and there are multiple places you will possibly go sideways plus tons of up and down bunny hops.. The road ventures into multiple paths many times. Once you get there however, there is a toilet and it's well maintained. The rock formations are amazing as well as the petroglyphs. There is no charge and since it is on BLM land you can take your pup off leash if you'd like. But don't allow your children or dogs to get on of the rocks containing petroglyphs. Please don't mark, try to remove or scratch in your own.
Jaden T — Google review
This place was amazing. One can get up close to ancient petroglyphs. Unfortunately, someone has scratched on the rocks, but you can still isolate the authentic ones. If anything else the view is great & the rock formations alone are worth the drive. It was easy to follow once you see the arrow sign next to the quarry. Lots of motorcycles as it’s on blm land where riders go. Take it slow because the road is bumpy, but we easily drove it in our ford ranger truck. There are pit toilets at the site, too. Keep going if you’re adventurous to Glitter Mt.
Rhonda G — Google review
You can get to it with an SUV or other hardy car (as long as there hasn't been recent rain), but just plan on it being covered with dirt after your adventure. It's worth it to see the petroglyphs, though! There is a nice pavilion at the entrance, a good parking lot, and a path where you can see the petroglyphs. Easy walking and it can be a short or more adventurous hike.
Laurie — Google review
A bit of a challenge to find and the road is rough but worth it. The trails are an easy walk. Went on a Sunday morning. Very few people there.

The St. George Children’s Museum is a delightful haven for young explorers, brimming with interactive exhibits that spark creativity and imagination. With 12 themed rooms, children can dive into a world of play—from dressing up in royal attire in the magic castle room to simulating an earthquake or taking charge as an airplane captain. The museum features engaging areas like a grocery store, science lab, music room, and even a desert discovery zone!
A nice variety of themed activities, from undersea exploration, aviation, science, lasers, acting, camping, athletics, and more! My kids were entertained with all the different options available. The staff was friendly and welcoming. However, I was surprised by how crowded it was for a Friday afternoon. It was packed, making it hard to get around. Pricing felt a bit steep at $8.50 per kid and $7 per adult, but children 2 and under were free. They also offered hosted activities like a creative art session, which added value. Overall, a fun but very busy experience!

Great place for kids! We used our get out pass but it's inexpensive anyway. 2 floors of fun filled rooms for kids.
Heather — Google review
This is an awesome Children’s Museum. We’ve visited around 15 over the years and this is in the top 3. I brought my 3 year old and we spent around 3 hours here. The dinosaur and construction area were my son’s favorite. They also had a nice workout area that my son enjoyed playing basketball and the rock climbing wall. When leaving there’s a nice little area to walk around outside with water fountains and an area for kids to play in the water.
Heather H — Google review
When I visit St. George I love to bring my daughter here. We have been twice now. She’s 2 and loves it. It’s a good price and you can leave and come back throughout the day. There are 2 levels with a lot of different drum rooms. My daughters favorite room is the grocery store room. She can spend so much time in there. She loves pushing the shopping cart around and filling it up with groceries. It’s so fun!
Megan L — Google review
My 2 year old grandson had a blast...didn't want to leave even after two hours. I had my $$ worth of fun myself. Only complaint, the bottom floor got a bit toasty.
Mike A — Google review
Absolutely amazing children's museum with tons to do. Rooms are upstairs and downstairs for kiddos to enjoy. Each room was better than the last. My kids really loved the room with the airplane and the gym area. Could easily spend 2 hours here and it was a great break from the heat. Bonus for military families it's a Blue Star museum, we were able to get tickets for our family for free.
Erin R — Google review
While searching for things to do for kids to get their wiggles out, the children’s museum came highly recommended. And boy was it fun! There are two floors of themed rooms where the kids can explore with hands on learning and creativity. You can stay in each room as long as you want just make sure you clean up after yourself, not a big deal at all. Oh and there is a spot for toys to go if your child puts them in their mouth. The only complaint I have is some of the toys needed thrown away and replaced with new ones. It felt gross playing with them. Overall, highly recommend taking your kids here! The Dinosaur room was our favorite.
Alyssa W — Google review
If you're looking for somewhere to get your kids out of the summer sun, the children's museum is the place to be. There are so many different playrooms, all with different themes. My daughter loves the theater room and dressing up to put on shows, and my son loves the farm and the dinosaur rooms. There's something for every kid here.

The museum also provides in-depth audio presentations about each animal, highlighting the importance of wildlife conservation.
I was surprised how much fun our kid had at this place. There was so much to explore and learn from all the different exhibits. Very educations about the Weatherby Award and the different animals.

For a smaller museum, this place is well kept and has plentiful amount of different species of animals on exhibit. Very accessible layout both first and second floors. The arrangement of animals in the museum makes for great picture taking with family.
Richard J — Google review
Cute place for kids. Much smaller than expected. We used our get out pass.
Heather — Google review
It's a cute little museum to stop at with kids. It's not expensive and they have a small gift shop right up front. Since it's a small museum you can walk through it all within 15 - 30 minutes, depending on how interested you and/or your kids are. The interactive children's room was very disappointing though and lacks the "interactive" part you expect. Normally we buy something from the gift shop when we visit places like this, but the gift shop was overpriced so we ended up not buying anything. Overall, it's an ok place to kill some time.

We were in St. George for a road trip and while I was in a meeting, my husband walked around the museum. He really enjoyed seeing the displays. Plus, they even had a military and senior discount! He loved that too!
