1Snow Canyon State Park

State park
Snow Canyon State Park in Utah is a breathtaking destination named after two pioneers, Lorenzo and Erastus Snow. This 7,400-acre park boasts sandy dunes and striking red sandstone cliffs, with a massive canyon carved into the ground. Visitors can explore over 38 miles of hiking trails and 15 miles of equestrian trails on foot, bike, or horseback. Just a short drive from St.
Nice little state park, there is a north and south entrance. $15 for Utah residents and $20 for non residents. You can drive through the whole park in like 10 minutes. Along the way you can do some short little hikes and there’s a few longer ones. Not much parking at all the stops though. Went in August it was extremely hot, maybe sure to bring lots of water and be prepared. Most trails we did were in the sand

Very neat hike, wish I had brought a hat, but I forgot it at the Airbnb. No places to hide from the sun except the caves; just keep that in mind. Climbing down into the caves was atmospherically cooler in temperature and just a cool experience overall. This was one of the shorter hikes we did but still, glad it made the list.
Lauren B — Google review
So beautiful. The paved bike path is fantastic, it keeps the pedestrian/bikes from intermixing with the cars. Also the bike path allows you to get closer to the canyon walls. This place was so clean that I enjoyed it as much as Zion or Kolob. The dirt paths leading up to the stone Canyon walls were many and easily walked.
Paul P — Google review
We had a marvelous time at Snow Canyons today. Did the Turtle walk, Jenny’s Canyon & Sand Dunes trails. So beautiful! Highly recommend visiting this State Park!
Irene E — Google review
Absolutely stunning! A true hidden gem of southern Utah. Snow Canyon State Park offers a breathtaking mix of red sandstone cliffs, black lava flows, and sweeping desert views that change with every step and every hour of sunlight. It’s smaller and quieter than nearby Zion, which makes it the perfect place to slow down and really connect with the landscape. The park’s trails range from easy strolls to more adventurous hikes, and each one showcases a different face of the canyon; from petrified dunes to slot canyons to ancient lava fields. Wildlife, wildflowers, and those iconic desert colors make this park an absolute must-visit. Whether you’re hiking, biking, or just exploring, Snow Canyon is pure magic. A place that captures the heart of Utah’s desert beauty without the crowds.
Leah B — Google review
I don’t know why it took me so long to make it here! It was gorgeous. Most of the hikes are short & easy with great views, so it’s a low effort, high reward kind of place! $10 entrance fee. Most of the trails are quite sandy, so choose your shoes wisely. Weather was beautiful in early November!
Rachel S — Google review
Oh man, this canyon is just so beautiful. The ender was $15, which seemed a little steep for me for how small the canyon is, but if you're going on a lot of hikes or biking, it's definitely worth it. The part called Jenny's canyon is a quick little hike. Easy for kids. There's two paths one into like the cave and the other up to the top of the hill. Both are extremely fun. Bring lots of water. When you exit on the opposite side, there's a lookout point I believe called White Rock and you can drive down there and walk some trails and go to the White Rock mountain. Please do this! It was so majestic!
Mirisha B — Google review
An adventurous playground for all ages. Beautiful landscapes just minutes from residential St. George area. If you start early, it doesn’t get too crowded. Bring lots of water and sun protection.

Nature & Parks
Pioneer Park is a sprawling 52-acre park in St. George, offering a range of outdoor activities for visitors. The park features numerous hiking trails that lead to attractions such as the Boy Scout Cave, historical pioneer cabin location, and slot canyons. It's an ideal spot for family-friendly hikes and nature walks, with opportunities for birdwatching and observing the natural surroundings.
Pioneer Park was an absolute blast for our whole family. It’s like a natural playground made of red rock—no entrance fee, no crowds, just endless opportunities to climb, crawl, and explore. We spent the entire day there and honestly could’ve stayed even longer. The kids loved weaving through the little slot canyons, scrambling up the boulders, and discovering caves and nooks tucked into the rock formations. It’s the kind of place where you can just let your imagination (and your legs) run wild. One tip: bring plenty of water. There’s not much shade, and the sun can sneak up on you while you’re out exploring. We packed a lunch and found a great spot to sit and eat with a view, which made the day even better. Pioneer Park is low-key, free, and full of adventure—perfect for families looking to burn some energy and make some unforgettable memories. A must-visit if you're in the St. George area!

Loved this park! Passing through St George on our way back to Vegas, I found this park with a lovely desert botanical garden to stroll through. As well as the St George Narrows hike was stunning. Very slim slot canyon, tight fit.
Travis L — Google review
Such a beautiful walk, great markings on the native plants. They were decorated for Halloween which made it even more fun. And it's free and the bathrooms are clean
Celene S — Google review
This park is a great way to spend two or three hours on a sunny day. Lots of short trails, and a beautiful garden with plant species found locally as well as statewide. Parking is limited so on a weekend you might want to get there early. Highly recommended.
Robert C — Google review
This was unexpectedly better than It thought it would be. First off, the price was free. Free entry and free parking- can't beat that! We went on and extremely hot day, so make sure you bring water while you are exploring. Trust me, just do it. The Narrows is pretty neat. Its about 50 yards from one of the parking areas. We had no trouble finding it. We did have trouble finding the arch. We drove around and around, looking. You can not see it from the park road. Here's how we found it. 1st- park at the HIGHEST elevation parking lot area (the one that has a picnic bench) 2nd if you walk to the right of it down slightly in little valley to a sign you are going in the right direction. 3rd. Keep going past the sign another 50 yards or so and then look up to your left. You will see it. Its way smaller than you would expect. You are able to hike up there and get close, again bring water. We enjoyed this park and the ability to explore.
Lisa W — Google review
Was in town visiting family? And had some youngens that woke up early, so I thought this would be a fun energy burner boy.Oh, boy, we went for I think it might have been a ten minute drive and spent three hours doing everything from hide and seek to playing lava rocks, I think at one point. We had a whole imaginary world in one of the caves that they called the crood home if you're looking for free memories that will last a lifetime, this is the place

Pioneer Park is such a beautiful place...just minutes from downtown St George. The rocks are easily scaled, and there are many different trails to help navigate the various facets of the park.

The St. George Children’s Museum is a delightful haven for young explorers, brimming with interactive exhibits that spark creativity and imagination. With 12 themed rooms, children can dive into a world of play—from dressing up in royal attire in the magic castle room to simulating an earthquake or taking charge as an airplane captain. The museum features engaging areas like a grocery store, science lab, music room, and even a desert discovery zone!
A nice variety of themed activities, from undersea exploration, aviation, science, lasers, acting, camping, athletics, and more! My kids were entertained with all the different options available. The staff was friendly and welcoming. However, I was surprised by how crowded it was for a Friday afternoon. It was packed, making it hard to get around. Pricing felt a bit steep at $8.50 per kid and $7 per adult, but children 2 and under were free. They also offered hosted activities like a creative art session, which added value. Overall, a fun but very busy experience!
Nate — Google review
Great place for kids! We used our get out pass but it's inexpensive anyway. 2 floors of fun filled rooms for kids.
Heather — Google review
This is an awesome Children’s Museum. We’ve visited around 15 over the years and this is in the top 3. I brought my 3 year old and we spent around 3 hours here. The dinosaur and construction area were my son’s favorite. They also had a nice workout area that my son enjoyed playing basketball and the rock climbing wall. When leaving there’s a nice little area to walk around outside with water fountains and an area for kids to play in the water.
Heather H — Google review
When I visit St. George I love to bring my daughter here. We have been twice now. She’s 2 and loves it. It’s a good price and you can leave and come back throughout the day. There are 2 levels with a lot of different drum rooms. My daughters favorite room is the grocery store room. She can spend so much time in there. She loves pushing the shopping cart around and filling it up with groceries. It’s so fun!
Megan L — Google review
My 2 year old grandson had a blast...didn't want to leave even after two hours. I had my $$ worth of fun myself. Only complaint, the bottom floor got a bit toasty.
Mike A — Google review
Absolutely amazing children's museum with tons to do. Rooms are upstairs and downstairs for kiddos to enjoy. Each room was better than the last. My kids really loved the room with the airplane and the gym area. Could easily spend 2 hours here and it was a great break from the heat. Bonus for military families it's a Blue Star museum, we were able to get tickets for our family for free.
Erin R — Google review
While searching for things to do for kids to get their wiggles out, the children’s museum came highly recommended. And boy was it fun! There are two floors of themed rooms where the kids can explore with hands on learning and creativity. You can stay in each room as long as you want just make sure you clean up after yourself, not a big deal at all. Oh and there is a spot for toys to go if your child puts them in their mouth. The only complaint I have is some of the toys needed thrown away and replaced with new ones. It felt gross playing with them. Overall, highly recommend taking your kids here! The Dinosaur room was our favorite.
Alyssa W — Google review
If you're looking for somewhere to get your kids out of the summer sun, the children's museum is the place to be. There are so many different playrooms, all with different themes. My daughter loves the theater room and dressing up to put on shows, and my son loves the farm and the dinosaur rooms. There's something for every kid here.

Town Square Park is a delightful spot located in the downtown historic district of St. George. It offers various attractions, including an expansive splash pad, a lazy river, and other water features that guarantee endless entertainment for kids on sunny days. The park also boasts a charming vintage carousel and plenty of space to relax amidst prominent historic buildings and blossoming trees. This is one of the best water parks to enjoy! As well as a great walking area! There is a fun carousel for $2.00 you can ride. Great picnic area by the water fall feature! Always jas new sculptures to see. My favorite it the memoral to those thay served. Really awesome park for fun!

Town Square is a wonderful downtown gathering place for old & young. It's bordered by 3 historic buildings: LDS Tabernacle, Woodward School & the original Dixie Academy, a 1900s high school. Today it's a beautifully landscaped park including many lovely sculptures, a splash pad, carousel, shaded tables & benches and next to the Main Library. Restaurants are close by & all kinds of shopping too. Each spring the city holds a big Art Festival here! What a great place to be outside.

The park offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a lovely family outing. As you stroll along the well-maintained paths, you’ll be greeted by lush greenery and vibrant flower beds that add splashes of color everywhere you look. The gentle rustle of leaves and the soft chirping of birds create a soothing soundtrack, enhancing the peaceful ambiance. One of the highlights of the park is its fascinating collection of art sculptures, thoughtfully placed throughout the grounds. Each piece tells its own story and often prompts visitors to pause and reflect. Whether you’re admiring a whimsical metal creation or a striking stone figure, these artworks add an element of culture and creativity to your visit. It’s a wonderful place to connect with nature, enjoy some quality time with loved ones, and appreciate the beauty of art in a calming environment.

Not a lot there, you can see everything in 30 minutes. You could sit there and eat your lunch it's a nice peaceful area.

Friday morning, weather is sunny with a little bit of breeze, so it was the perfect day for a park. Bathrooms were decent. There's a splash pad and little river here so make sure to bring extra clothes to change. There was a carousel that my daughter loved. $1 per person, kids that are 42" tall and shorter are free with a paying adult. I wish there's playground though, but little one still had fun so it it was still a good day ❤.
Clarissa O — Google review
My daughter and I was searching for a good place to take her toddler my grand baby that had water to play and open area where he could let out some energy and this place is great, he had a blast they also had a carousel which we didn't get to try out because it's closed on Sundays but we will be going back to try it out. Very enjoyable.

They just remodel the padding at this playground!! I absolutely love it! It’s a big park with plenty of picnic places and lots of seating. Train rides are so nice. They have wheelchair accessible on the train.(: They have a booth where they sell snacks. The bathrooms are clean and big! Great place to have a party of 40 people, inside the volcano.(: The water splash pad area is so nice and lots of room there too. My kids and I love it here!

I can’t believe this place is for free! It is so clean and well put together and there are so many amazing things for kids to enjoy! It is very large and open, perfect for running with plenty of things to jump and climb all over! They even have a little Train that runs around and a snack shock that is seasonally open. They have a darling splash pad area too. Amazing amazing park! Plenty of seating for parents to sit and enjoy!
Ally H — Google review
This is a great FREE family friendly park that provides a splash pad to keep cool in the Hot summer days. Nice clean bathroom. Lots of seating. There’s a train ride however, when I was there Saturday at 8p 7:30p it was closed. FUN kids ride on and play on equipment.
Vegas G — Google review
What an amazing park!! Me and my friend had such a fun time here. The train rides are only $2 per person and last about 5 minutes with a guided audio tour of the track. The playground is spacious, has a bunch of different fixtures and activities, and has soft flooring rather than wood chips or gravel. There are wheel accessible ramps to most areas of the park. There are plenty of clean picnic tables as well. The small music area could use some upkeep, as the xylophone is missing its mallets so it’s pretty hard to play. Such a fun place for a free or affordable afternoon.
Whitney S — Google review
Amazing park with alot to see and do! Fun for the whole family. Water feature to play in if its hot. Volcano that goes off every 45 minutes. Was a nice free outing for the day.

So glad this place is connected nearby with the Dixie Rock. Plenty of parking and it’s free to observe. Such a fun place to get lost in and look at all the beautiful flowers and local animals. I absolutely loved looking at all the cacti and colorful plants! Such a mesmerizing and down to earth experience.

What a fun place to stop and go for a walk through the gardens. I had some time to kill before my next destination and this was such a fun little area to stretch my legs. I didn't drive through the other section of the garden, but the parking lot was decent, nice restrooms, and a fun little place to check out the views and sites. They even had a couple shaded bench areas to relax and rest out of the sun.
Kirstin D — Google review
We are from San Antonio and came to town to play golf. We saw the Red Hills Desert Garden when we drove by. It is fabulous and a don’t miss stop in the St. George area. It is a wonderful, easy, walking path. All of the plants have been identified. It is beautiful and free. What a terrific gift to the community. Don’t miss it!
Nanette H — Google review
This is a nice casual walk that you get to see some really cool plants! Some plants are thriving more than others but that’s a part of gardening. It is a free walk. They do have a few benches and also bathrooms. It was very pretty, my only issue was that the fish tanks need to be cleaned because you could hardly see the fish swimming.
Megan Y — Google review
Beautiful garden!! So well done there are defined sections for each plant type, and plenty of places to rest. I would recommend going early or late to avoid the heat! It takes about 30 min to walk through the garden and is definitely worth the visit.

Beautiful and peaceful! A flute player was playing for awhile which added much to the ambiance. Easily walkable with many benchs to stop and rest.

The St. George Tabernacle, originally a church and courthouse, is now open for public events. This historic Mormon monument took 13 years to build, with stones hand-quarried from the nearby foothills. The twin spiral staircases were intricately hand-carved. It serves as a gathering place for worship and community events, offering free guided tours to explain its architecture and purpose. Visitors can enjoy various free events such as Independence Day celebrations with civil war era artifacts and performances.
We love the Tabernacle. It's a beautiful building with so much history and heritage. They offer free tours and free concerts regularly. The acoustics are unreal!

Came here 27 years ago from Wales,UK, amazing architecture throughout. We're back (oct 25th, 2024) to revisit with friends. Unfortunately, it says it is open 10am - 6pm, but it's all locked up for some renovation. Very, very disappointed to not be able to go inside.

We love the St George Tabernacle. It's a beautiful building, ripe with so much history. It was a privilege to be able to catch a Christmas-themed performance there last month. This place is a must visit if you're ever at the historic arts district of St. George.

Beautiful bold building in downtown St George. If older architecture is your thing, you should visit the building. We went early in the morning and there was no one around. There is the art exhibit area right next to it, so it's a great place to relax and see some things you wouldn't otherwise see.

Nice place to see unique plants and trees. Love the benches along the path, to sit and ponder. Many times you can come and be the only one there. Fun to bring young children to let them run and play in a safe environment.

This park has so much to offer for spending meaningful time with family. There’s an all-abilities playground, tennis courts, a splash pad, beautiful gardens, ponds, and scenic walking paths. One especially touching feature is the Rainbow Bridge, where pet owners honor their beloved pets by placing collars along the railing. With pavilions for lunch and peaceful surroundings, it’s a thoughtfully designed space that invites both reflection and connection.

If you like ducks. swans, great blue heron & general bird watching the pond here is a great place to visit. The park includes Thunder Junction, an all- abilities playground. The tennis courts, picnic tables & lovely garden make this park the best in Washington county.

I found this small pond in tonaquint park. I went back with bread for the Many ducks. As I tossed the bread in suddenly a boil appeared right below me. I've never seen catfish in this size or number swarming together. There are many lg turtles. Aquatic birds. Children would love it. It costs nothing.

Greatest Park ever! You have to come! Such a great park with so many different features. We often refer to this park as the dinosaur park because there are so many different dinosaur things to do. There is even a volcano that erupts every half an hour, including smoke. They have so many slides, swings, and water features for all ages. They even have a train that goes around the whole park! There is a splash pad with a waterfall. There are also ziplines, and fun things for special needs. It seriously is the best park. We have even stopped here on big trips just to play and get the kids out of the car! You're going to love it! ❤️

Great park for all kinds of fun. If you like picnics, riding bikes, leisure stroll, or just laying in the grass enjoying the sun. Love this park just a nice place to take the whole family. You can sign your kids or yourself up for tennis lessons. They also have a train that takes thr kids around the park. Check this park out when bisiting or if you live in ST George.

I had not ever realized how nice and big the park was. Great place for lots of activities! Would highly recommend if looking for an outdoor venue!
Peggy E — Google review
Great park with A LOT of fun spaces for the little ones. Splash pad with a waterfall is fun to escape the heat. Only downside is it gets EXTREMELY crowded on Holiday weekends and there's quite a few blind spots making it difficult to see your kid. The train is fun, and for only a dollar it's a steal.

The St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm is an educational and entertaining attraction in St. George, Utah. It features well-preserved dinosaur tracks, fossilized fish, plant life, and a working fossil preparation lab. The museum also showcases five life-size models of prehistoric animals and offers self-guided exhibits for visitors to explore at their own pace.
St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm We’ve always loved the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site, but bringing our three-year-old for the first time was an entirely new level of fun. From the moment we walked in, he was grinning ear to ear—completely in awe of the massive footprints and fossil displays. The museum itself is well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to explore without feeling crowded or overwhelmed. The exhibits strike a perfect balance between being informative and visually exciting, with plenty to capture the imagination of both kids and adults. Seeing real dinosaur tracks up close was a thrill, and our little one was especially fascinated by the life-sized models and interactive areas. It’s a fantastic spot for any dino-lover, young or old. If you’re in the area, it’s absolutely worth a visit!

We had such a nice visit when we went a couple weeks ago. I was looking for a place my son with special needs could run around and get some wiggles out during our road trip and this was the perfect stop. Everyone was so kind to him despite him basically just running around the whole place, which is usual for him, and not paying much attention. They have a small but great kids play area inside with games that even kept him entertained for enough time for us to shop in the gift shop. The outside play area was fun as well. My older son loves dinosaurs and enjoyed the exhibits. He also loved the informative lady who helped us. Great experience, definitely recommend for the whole family.
Linda M — Google review
This is a really cool exhibit! The building itself was constructed around genuine, fossils, and dinosaur tracks. The indoor area has lots of reading stations rich with information and facts regarding the geographic area. The exterior is a nice relaxing walk around factual circumstances regarding different dinosaur areas. More suitable for older children.
CJay T — Google review
We came on a road trip from Orange County, California, and we added this activity so my friend's daughter can learn about dinosaurs. The facility is clean and affordable. They had lots of artifacts and small screens playing videos. The outside is nicely set up as well for a little walk with dinasours statues for pictures.
Ileana G — Google review
Very small place. We used our get out pass. Mostly fossils but not a whole lot displayed. Probably cool if you like paleontology but kids will get bored fast.
Heather — Google review
This was an incredible dinosaur experience. They do not have the normal large displays of bones but do have some and have a fun interactive space outside for the kids. More importantly, they have an incredible display of tracks teaching you about migratory patterns and the day to day life of a dinosaur. They even have extremely rare baby dinosaur prints. They have a living piece of rock that still blooms and purifies oxygen that survived from about 190 million years ago. Would def recommend going and supporting this place. Becx was there today and she gave us incredible indepth info about the dig site and the trace fossils present.
Lauren Z — Google review
Friendly and helpful staff. $10 admission fee and lots of prints and info to take in. Always been a fan of Dinosaurs so this was neat to see.

I had an amazing time at the museum today. It was fascinating. But what made it best was Berkeley, a volunteer at the museum. I was touring by myself and asked her a question. Once she gauged my interests, she walked around the museum with me and pointed out things she thought I would be interested in. She even told me where I could see more dinosaur tracks locally and also in Nevada where I’m heading next. I would’ve enjoyed the museum anyway, but Berkeley’s enthusiasm and her knowledge made it significantly more exciting. A huge thank you to Berkeley!

Mexican restaurant
Angelica's Mexican Grill is a charming family-owned restaurant in St. George, Utah, offering a cozy and art-adorned space where guests can enjoy authentic and flavorful Mexican cuisine. The menu features traditional street tacos, burritos, and chile verde made with fresh ingredients and time-honored recipes. This local gem has gained popularity for its friendly atmosphere and fast service, making it a favorite spot for both locals and visitors seeking delicious Mexican fare in the area.
Street tacos were amazing and the tortillas were cooked to crispy perfection! I also loved the atmosphere and the mister on the outdoor patio. Definitely a must have every time I pass through St. George!
Miriam C — Google review
We ordered the carne asada fajita platter, various street tacos (sweet pork, pollo asada, machaca, and chile verde), and Mexican corn on the cob. Everything was fantastic! The highlight was the Mexican corn, but I crave it and it's hard to find in Utah. The fajita platter was great, but I was expecting a bunch of small tortillas, not one massive burrito tortilla. I'd love to try the torta or burrito next time. All the meats were excellent, so you can't go wrong, but the carne asada and pollo asada are standouts. The chile verde is really good but has a really good kick. Also, everything is messy. It's a great third date place, but not a first or second date spot. The service is phenomenal and the reason people keep coming back. Angelica herself was at the door to greet us and guide us through the experience. She's amazing and makes her spot what it is. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. This place gets packed quickly, but it's a casual sit-down, so spots clear up while you're ordering your food. Don't worry about snagging a table before you order. There's dining room and patio seating, with the patio being more fun, but that depends on the weather. There's live music during certain times, and the murals and decor are also awesome. There's not a lot of stalls in the main parking lot, but there's more stalls around back, or you can park on the street. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back.
Dalton A — Google review
Great food. Loved the cafeteria style ordering but the food was even better. I loved the carne asada Fajitas. The birria tacos were great, Angelicas special was well loved and the burritos were excellent. Would go again! (Only got a Pic of the corn)
Ryan F — Google review
We love Angelica's! This is such a great place we try to get there any time we are in or passing through St George. The elote corn and the Angelica Special are some of our favorites, but there is not a bad item on the menu. They get busy! Be prepared to wait in the line if you are there during a busy time. The food usually comes out quick once you get to the counter to order. We love the salsa bar. All flavors are great, the hotter varieties do love up to their disclaimer.
Elliot R — Google review
I ordered the side of beans and rice, fajita veggies and a tortilla. It was so much food, and SO delicious!! Such a cute patio to enjoy and they were setting up live music for the evening! If you love great Mexican food, this is definitely the place to go!
Barbara G — Google review
My daughter recently graduated from Utah Tech. Right after the ceremony, May 2025, it was preplanned for all to meet at Angelica's. This is my daughter's favorite Mexican restaurant in St George. We hurried, got great parking and a great outdoor seat. There was five adults and three children in our group. We got our food in a timely manner and my oh my, It got really quiet and we ate. I had the burrito, it needed no sauce as it was so juicy. Best burrito I've ever eaten. Shout out to Angelica's!! Your awesome and so is your food! Highly recommend
Michael H — Google review
Everything over all here was really good. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it, the salsa bar is great. The only thing is that anything to be added to your taco/food is a la cart. Most of the add ons were more than the tacos. Loved the street corn. They also had some of the best horchata that I've ever had. Like the fact that had an outdoor patio for pets.
Jen M — Google review
The street tacos were delicious. They have a salsa bar with many choices and roasted peppers. The aqua fresca was very flavorful and thirst quenching. The sweet pork taco was a unique flavor that paired well with the spicy salsa, a roasted peppers and some cilantro/onion mix.

Jacob Hamblin Home is a historic 19th-century house in Santa Clara, just outside of St. George, Utah. It was the residence of Mormon pioneer Jacob Hamblin and his large family from 1863 to 1870. Known for his friendship with Native American people, Hamblin allowed his home to be a refuge for them.
Went and took a private tour of this old pioneer home. We learned about Jacob Hamblin and his service with the Native people from this area. We also learned all about his orchard and how they protected their livestock from being stolen. My kids enjoyed the tour as well.

In this place, I learned about Jacob Hamblin and his brave family. Jacob Hamblin, a 19th-century Mormon pioneer and missionary, built bridges on understanding with Native Americans in the American Southwest. He learned their languages, mediated conflicts, and facilitated peaceful coexistence. His efforts fostered cooperation, aiding in the settlement and development of the region while respecting indigenous cultures and traditions.

With over 300 taxidermy animals from every continent, the museum offers an immersive experience with lifelike dioramas showcasing natural habitats. Visitors can explore the Interactive Children's Gallery, where kids can engage with animal fur and horns while learning through puzzles and books. The museum also provides in-depth audio presentations about each animal, highlighting the importance of wildlife conservation.
I was surprised how much fun our kid had at this place. There was so much to explore and learn from all the different exhibits. Very educations about the Weatherby Award and the different animals.

For a smaller museum, this place is well kept and has plentiful amount of different species of animals on exhibit. Very accessible layout both first and second floors. The arrangement of animals in the museum makes for great picture taking with family.
Richard J — Google review
Cute place for kids. Much smaller than expected. We used our get out pass.
Heather — Google review
It's a cute little museum to stop at with kids. It's not expensive and they have a small gift shop right up front. Since it's a small museum you can walk through it all within 15 - 30 minutes, depending on how interested you and/or your kids are. The interactive children's room was very disappointing though and lacks the "interactive" part you expect. Normally we buy something from the gift shop when we visit places like this, but the gift shop was overpriced so we ended up not buying anything. Overall, it's an ok place to kill some time.

Candy store
Judd's Store is a charming old-fashioned sweet shop located in a vintage retail space with a tall, frontier-style facade. The store offers a delightful selection of ice cream, candy, and sodas displayed on wall-to-wall shelves. It also serves light bites such as soups and sandwiches for lunch. The nostalgic atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for kids to pick out colorful confections and enjoy their treats at one of the small tables inside.
This is a must-see in St. George! My kids love visiting here for the yummy breadsticks and ice cream. I love all the vintage candy and knowing I'm supporting a historic business. Surprisingly, this is also a fantastic lunch spot! Probably the best soup in town and craveable sandwiches. It's a bit pricey, but it makes everyone feel like a kid in a candy store again.
Wendy N — Google review
What a whimsical store! The candy selection was plentiful, and this store stocks some really fun soda options. I grabbed myself a Sarsaparilla soda, and my travel buddy and I ordered two bowls of their cheddar broccoli soup and a bread stick for each of us. What a great lunch!! Thanks Judd’s Store for a lovely experience on our vacation!

The oldest business in St. George. As I was told by one of the workers this store is 111 years old as of 2022. Great little store with ice cream, bottled drinks and old time candy. Perfect location and stop if you at the splash pad/ river right in the middle of time. The employee were nice and helpful. The store isn’t big but they get you in and out quickly. Great treat shop.

Canyon Park, located in Washington City, is a relatively new installation situated at the top of a canyon known as Hell Hole by locals. The park features the Virgin River bike path trailhead and offers various amenities for visitors. It's an ideal spot for older kids and even serves as a training ground for some fun "Dad Olympics." The park boasts a Ninja Warrior obstacle course with electronic timers, giant slides on the hillside, and a 40m race track with auto timers.
Cool playground located on the edge of a nice nature area. You can enjoy a very nice hike after spending some time on the slides. Nice views. Children were happy;)
Marcin K — Google review
Important to note this is on a steep incline, and there are slides down but small children (under 3) may have a difficult time navigating back up/falling down the slope. I had to carry my 2y/o and I was exhausted by the end. I would say this park is better for older kids, 5+. The timed obstacle course is cool, but we spent most of our time on the climbing rocks at the bottom. The slides are really fun but fast, and too small for an adult. Restrooms are out of sight of the play area, but they have them which is great.
Summer S — Google review
Decent park but has broken slides. Also, the running area seems to always get overrun with people playing soccer or football, so we weren't able to use it.
John R — Google review
This is such a great park! It's ideal for older kids. The ninja warrior course, complete with electronic timer, was so fun. The giant slides that go down the stretch of the hill were also cool. It's right next to the Hell Hole Trail head which is paved and perfect for biking or hikes as a family. It is hidden behind an apartment complex that is under construction so we almost missed it. There are bathrooms and a pavilion with picnic tables. We enjoyed lunch at the park and getting some energy out before spending hours in the car driving home.
Jordon H — Google review
There are a ton of cool things at this park, but a lot of things were broken. The ninja warrior course was super fun, once we decided on a workaround for the broken parts. We had fun running the sprint track, but the timer was broken. The slides are fast and fun for all my kids, 3 years to 15 years, and my husband and I could both fit inside, but 3 of the 4 slides were closed due to being broken. Would easily be a five star park if not for the broken stuff.
Diriculous1234 — Google review
This park is not ideal for kids under 5 years old. A lot of the equipment is made for training/racing. The ninja course is nice. The slides are boarded up and not very functional anymore. There is sand at the bottom but honestly not my favorite park. The steep incline makes it unsafe for kids 3 and under
Anne T — Google review
3/4 slides broken, otherwise a fun park for races and playing. Also- I’m not sure who does the landscaping here but having a HUGE bush of datura (which grows naturally here, but is very highly poisonous- look for large white trumpeting flowers) is really dangerous.
Jordyn M — Google review
3 of the 4 slides are boarded up and not able to be used. The ninja course is only fun if there aren’t many people there, but the line gets long and kids can’t just play on the equipment. Really only leaves one slide and a couple nets to climb on.

Nestled in the heart of St. George, Utah, the St. George Utah Temple stands as a magnificent testament to history and architecture. Completed in 1877, it is recognized as the oldest and largest standing temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Designed by architect Truman O. Angell, this stunning structure reaches an impressive height of 174 feet and features a foundation made from local volcanic rock along with sandstone walls sourced from nearby quarries.
The St. George Temple Christmas lights offer a peaceful and family-friendly holiday experience, perfect for those seeking simple seasonal beauty. When I visited, I was enchanted by the thousands of twinkling lights that transformed the grounds into a winter wonderland. The carefully arranged displays create a warm, inviting atmosphere, with paths lined in glowing colors that make for a wonderful evening stroll. What stood out to me was how inclusive and welcoming the event felt. Families, friends, and couples wandered through the grounds, taking pictures and enjoying the festive ambiance. It’s a place where you can slow down and appreciate the holiday season in a quiet, relaxed setting—perfect for those who love Christmas lights but prefer a more tranquil setting than bustling city displays. If you’re in St. George during the holidays, I highly recommend taking the time to see the lights. It’s a lovely way to spend an evening, whether you’re with loved ones or simply looking for a peaceful moment to soak in the season.

We stopped by the St. George Temple while passing through town on a road trip, and we’re so glad we did. The temple is even more beautiful in person than in the photos—its architecture and craftsmanship are truly impressive. It was a peaceful and inspiring place to stretch our legs and take in the work of generations past. A worthwhile stop if you’re driving through the area.

While traveling from Snow Canyon State Park to Las Vegas, we made an unplanned stop around 7 PM. Although we were unable to visit the temple itself, the visitor center provided a wealth of information. It features pictures of the temple's interior, which were quite interesting. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
Cindy W — Google review
I came here when a really good friend got married last year. St George is a very unique place. It's right in the middle of a rocky Arizona and mountainous Utah. The combination is like nothing else. The temple is also very attractive. It was one of the first temples ever built and you can feel the nostalgia at the temple.

Even if you're not a member, you can learn so much from the visitor center! This is my childhood Temple! I love the spirit that I feel here. Growing up before I could go inside, I still felt the peace. Now that I've been able to make promises with God and grow closer to him as well as help my ancestors do the same, I feel so much more connected to this house of the Lord!

A Beautiful LDS Temple and house of the Lord. Wander the grounds, enjoy it's beautiful peaceful feeling.
Patti W — Google review
Great experience with our family visiting this beautiful historic landmark. The visitor center next to the temple is perfect, if not of the LDS faith, to learn about the pioneers that settled and built this temple back in the mid 1800s.
Gens L — Google review
Insider POV: I was LDS for 37 years. When you become a Mormon, there are a lot of things they don't tell you about the temple: the veiled faces, chants, secret handshakes and passwords, weird outfits, and oaths. You have to give the church 10% of your money to go there- and if you don't give the church their $, you don't "get to be with your family forever." They hold your "forever family" hostage if you don't obey. They say they don't talk about it because it's "too sacred to speak of". And every week in church, they all talk about how great it is they are "gods chosen people". It's a beautiful building for sure... but if you think it sounds like it could be a cult... there are plenty of videos on YouTube that show what goes on in there and you can see for yourself.

Steak house
Anasazi Steakhouse is a unique dining spot in Southern Utah where diners can cook their own steaks and seafood on volcanic rocks. The restaurant offers an upscale and artsy ambiance, making it suitable for both family gatherings and romantic dinners. The dining room also serves as a gallery, showcasing local art and photography that are available for purchase. The presentation of the food is artistic, with meats being dramatically presented and cooked at guests' tables on sizzling volcanic rocks.
Very fun and different! We had fun doing the fondue, we got the California which was delicious, but very rich. We just shared a steak and with fondue that was more than enough. Service of great, food was good! The New York strip was slightly too fatty.
Victoria W — Google review
The steak was very tough and not cooked as ordered! No dinner rolls! The salad was tiny! Blue cheese was fantastic! Very loud down dinning room! Won’t be back. The porter house was so thin you could see through it!
Don C — Google review
First time visit to Anasazi for dinner and server was very helpful and explained available options to prepare my own steak on heated block in middle of my table or traditional method by a cook in their kitchen. Nice selection of meat on the menu and I chose the Flat Iron Steak cooked traditional with a garden salad on the side. My steak was delicious and cooked medium well according to my instructions. I will visit this restaurant again the next time I'm in St George. Great food and service.
Martin G — Google review
Experiential dining! We tried the Swiss fondue, which was good. I had the Flatiron and their citrus salad. It's fun to cook your own food, and it was all tasty. Jake, our server, was awesome and let us mix the milk and dark chocolate for dessert, which was excellent. I asked for a spoon, it was so good.
Saysha R — Google review
Five minutes into Anasazi Steakhouse in St. George, I realized I hadn’t just walked into a restaurant, I’d entered a dimension. The hostess greeted me with a smile that hinted she’d seen time bend before. My steak came raw, resting beside a glowing black slab hotter than a thousand suns, as if forged by the ghost of a cowboy who got too close to Zion’s red cliffs. I cooked it myself while whispering compliments to the sizzling rock, which might’ve whispered back. Halfway through, the air smelled like pure destiny and a faint trace of sandalwood, possibly from the neighboring table’s ribeye séance. My mashed potatoes were so buttery they slipped off the plate and tried to apply for citizenship in another realm. A server named Gary (or was it Gandalf?) brought molten chocolate fondue that felt like it could heal heartbreak and ignite car alarms. By dessert, I’d accepted that this place wasn’t just dinner, it was a ritual. If you stare long enough into your own reflection in the fondue pot, you’ll see your true steak-loving self smiling back. “Steak so good it made my ancestors text me.” - Bill Burr, probably.

Anasazi steakhouse is a great place to eat. The Atmosphere abd service are phenomenal. We celebrated our Anniversay there. You have the option to cook your meat on their hot rocks, this is a fun option. Also, their fondue desserts are fabulous, the waitress melts the chocolate in front of you on the burner that comes with the table, there is a wide variety of goodies that we were able to dip into the chocolate.
Michele K — Google review
Dined here on Sat evening, 11-7. Jacob was our server and was great! We had stuffed mushrooms app, nice and fresh. Our entree’s were flat iron steak and baseball sirloin. Both were great quality meat and nicely prepared. We loved the idea of stone cooking at your own table but were tired from hiking in Zion! The dessert fondues looked awesome but went with Crème brule and Chocolate mousse , both were very good . Wish we lived closer to dine here again!

Passing through St George and found this place from the map: Brigham Young’s winter home. Planned to just look around but found out that you need to get in through a tour. We walked around the outside of the house for less than 10 minutes and got in for a tour. The missionary guides were very knowledgeable and were willing to adjust the tour timing according to our availability. The house was built when Brigham Young was still alive, and he lived in it during the winters due to his health conditions. Some things in there are indeed 100+ years old, preserved from when he’s alive. Pretty cool and worth for a visit if you have half an hour!

Neat free tour highlighting the history of the St. George area and the early church leadership in Utah. Very good tour, some steep stairs, but worth it! Kids loved seeing the old stoves, irons, beds, and chamber pots! Mind boggling for them that people pissed in a pot before indoor plumbing!
Larry H — Google review
Tours are free and the only way to go through the interior. Tour guide was knowledgeable though a little condescending. Artifacts are interesting though most seem to be period pieces rather than original to the home. Didn't let that put you off, it's an interesting, beautiful place with a rich story.
David C — Google review
My husband and I enjoyed the history lesson of the Church of Latter Day Saints and tour of Brigham Young’s home. I was surprised that we were the only visitors when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. Our guide, a Mormon missionary, was interesting and well informed.
Eileen K — Google review
Beautiful place, most of the things inside are real but some are replicas, but still the tour was pretty cool, the guide was amazing and kind, the house seems just like the real one, I recommend coming, the tours are free just ask.
Joaquín C — Google review
Historical landmark guided by free tours. Interesting to see how radically different houses were set up 150 years ago compared to today. Some original pieces and some time period pieces. Really interesting to see original window panes and how they waver overtime.

I can see why they chose St. George. Its so beautiful. If it were just a little bit bigger, I might have moved there instead of Tucson.

Visiting the Brigham Young Winter Home in St. George was a delightful and enriching experience. The historic house is beautifully restored, with intriguing pioneer-era details like hand-painted faux-wood trim and sagebrush-patterned adobe bricks. Our guide was not only friendly and knowledgeable but also engaging and great with kids. It only took about 20–30 minutes, but it felt like a meaningful journey into early Utah history. And bonus—I learned so much about Brigham Young’s winter life and the construction of the St. George Temple. Best part? It was completely free! A must-see while in St. George.

The menu includes healthy alternatives and classic favorites for kids, making it an ideal stop for those looking for a family-friendly dining experience in St. George.
My new favorite place in St.George. super intimate cafe. The food is FRESH and DELICIOUS. The salads are especially good. We had pizza, pasta and salads. Save room for dessert. The cupcakes are crazy good. And they go on sale at 7:00pm so time your dinner perfectly. We loved the orange cream cupcakes and the raspberry coconut cupcakes. Ari was an amazing waitress. She took our order for a large group with a smile and super pleasant attitude. We even gave some very complicated speciality orders which she and the kitchen executed perfectly.

If your in St. George and looking for a healthy alternative to eat this one should most definitely be your stop. My family and I were greeted warmly by the employees. Due to the pandemic and social distancing not all tables were available which was perfectly fine and understandable. We all enjoyed our meals except my daughter ordered the chicken alfredo and said the sauce was a little too salty but still enjoyed it. I ordered the salad with salmon on top and boy was it delicious. The seasoning on the fish was not over powering and the fish was cooked to perfection. So next time your in this beautiful city of St. George Utah makes this one of your food choices you will not be disappointed.

Twentyfive Main is one of those gems of a local cafe’ joints that you here people talk about. The vibes you get walking through the door are welcoming and one of a kind. The food is excellent, though the panini sizes seem a little small for the price, the top notch taste and high quality food they pack into them make it all worth it. And then don’t get me started on the cupcakes! Coconut dreams all they way. All around great cafe’ to catch up with friends, use their free WIFI to get some work done, or simple sit back and relax. Also have to mention how great it is that they feature/support local artists!

We found this place as we made a quick pitstop in St. George and overall it was a pretty good experience. The food took a little bit longer than I thought to get to us. I had the Panini and it was nothing special but the margarita classic pizza was actually pretty good. My wife would definitely go back to get it again.

Nice spot for coffee and some breakfast. Right down the street from our hotel. Sat outside, happy to support local! Nice assortment of cupcakes too (gluten free option too).

Good food! I ordered the salmon salad without black beans and corn. The salmon was a bit overcooked, but flavorful. The cupcakes are a must. Super delicious!!!

Absolutely love 25 Main! 1st, the cupcakes are the best. EVER. Today my wife and I had their Rootbeer cupcake. (YUMMY) 2nd, Taylor and Karissa were outstanding. Kind, happy, and excellent service. 3rd, their food is also always great. After going religiously for three years, I am never disappointed.

I ordered a chicken Cesar salad and I was highly impressed. The chicken was shredded instead of cubed/sliced which is different from what I'm used to. The dressing is very creamy and there was a perfect amount on my salad. Also, there were thick slices of tomato sprinkled with shredded parmesan cheese. It came with a slice of bread as well. This was a fantastic salad and I would order it again. We got here just before the lunch rush, which I suggest you do, too. The lunch line went out the door.

Mad Pita Express is a casual, quick-service restaurant offering a variety of Mediterranean favorites such as kebabs, gyros, and Greek chicken. Despite its location in a strip mall, the restaurant surprises diners with its delicious and generously portioned dishes. The menu features options like lamb gyro, falafel pitas, and tabouleh along with delectable desserts like baklava and orange zest rice pudding.
I just love this place. Exactly what I want in a fast/casual Greek spot. Great gyros. Great platter w/ the rice, humus, salad. Also literally can’t think of a better French fry in town- perfectly crispy, garlic parm seasoning, bomb fry sauce.
Cory F — Google review
We tried the spicy chicken pita, the fries, and the lemon soup. Everything was amazing. The fries are to die for. The pita isn’t very spicy and it has great flavor. 10/10, will definitely be back every time we come to town.
Aubrey B — Google review
So good!! One of my favorite places to stop when visiting St George or traveling through. Food is fresh and so tasty. I got the gyro pita with a Greek salad combo and husband got the Philly gyro with fries. Perfect, filled us up and we continued on our way without feeling bloated or heavy. Perfect food when traveling and the pita is so light and fresh!!!
Lisa C — Google review
This is a pretty good Greek fast food shop. I had the spicy chicken pita and it was really good! We got the french fries, I think they were garlic seasoned? But they were really good as well. We had a lemon rice pudding for dessert that was spectacular! I got a slice of baklava and it was good but it's seasoned differently than what I normally prefer. So I'm not going to grab the baklava again, but I will be back for the rice pudding dessert! All in all, a decent quick meal at a decent price!
Steve P — Google review
I was craving Mediterranean food on my way to LA, so decided to take my lunch break here. I ordered spicy chicken pita and fries. Both items were incredibly tasty. The chicken and veggies inside the pita were so fresh and the fries were super crispy as well. I will definitely come here to try the other items on my next trip.

The food, atmosphere, and staff are exceptional. Tucked away in a strip mall with indoor and outdoor seating. Portions are generous.

All the food was super good! Little spendy, but what isn’t these days… we had the sampler and some gyros, stuffed grape leaves, rice bowl with meatballs, and some fries. And baklava for dessert. Everything was as good as if we were at a full service restaurant. The fries were perfect in texture, flavor and temperature. We came with 13 people and had our food within 10 minutes. Would recommend for anyone who loves Greek food!

The Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum, also known as the McQuarrie Memorial Museum, in St. George is a tribute to the early settlers of Utah. It houses a vast collection of artifacts and history from the pioneers who settled in the region in the mid-1850s under Brigham Young's leadership. The museum showcases relics, clothing, tools, and other items used by these settlers in their daily lives.
Wonderful museum. Interactive for kids. Can ring the bell, type on a typerwriter. Great place to see and learn about st george history and the early indians. Dori was an excellent 'docent'. Highly recommend!

Very nice museum. Be sure to have one of the volunteers show you around. I would have liked to stay a lot longer. Very interesting and friendly People. Absolutely worth it.
Marianne M — Google review
This was a little gem of a museum. My 10 and 12 year old enjoyed it. They both enjoy history and there was a lot of artifacts from the pioneer days, along with information on how these early white settlers to this area functioned on a day to day basis, what tools they used, silk worm cultivation, etc. The museum staff were knowledgeable and friendly. the museum entrance fee is by donation and for the artifacts they have it was worth a nice donation. It’s definitely a good stop if you’re interested in the early Mormon church and pioneering.
Sweet W — Google review
Our family thoroughly enjoyed the museum on June 7, 2025. Our docent was enthusiastic, well-informed and very attentive to our questions. Her stories, knowledge and historical insight was amazing and we gained a new knowledge of the area and appreciation for the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Thank you!
Rich S — Google review
Such an amazing collection of Dixie history! I spent over 2 hours looking at things and still didn't get to all the rooms. I will be coming back to look some more! The docent was quite busy with a couple of other groups while I was there, so I didn't interrupt her to ask many questions. I do want to come again when it isn't busy so I can ask more questions and find out more about the amazing items. It was especially cool to get to see my great-great-grandmother's piece of the silk friendship quilt. I do wish they would display that quilt better because all the signatures weren't visible. My great-grandmother also signed it, but her piece wasn't visible.
Cezanne B — Google review
If you have relatives who settled St. George, this museum is a must visit. I don't, but I enjoyed seeing the collection of items from Erastus Snow and Brigham Young.

Bloomington Petroglyph Park in St. George is a small half-acre park preserving ancient rock art, making it one of the top attractions in the area. The petroglyphs, believed to be created by the Anasazi, can be found on boulders at the base of Bloomington Hill. Visitors can see various carvings including spirals, human figures, deer, turtles, and zigzags while being mindful not to touch them to prevent damage.
Wanted to see something different. I have been down in the St George area for 60 years. NEVER have seen this Hidden Treasure. Right In the middle of a subdivision. Who knew? Really nice to be up close to old writings. Wish I knew more about them. Perfect for a short stop to kill some time. Highly recommended. Even has a swing and benches. Be courteous of the neighbors around. No tables or bathrooms, just small walking path.
Corby B — Google review
Quick stop at the Petroglyphs Community Park in St. George, Utah—and honestly, don’t expect much, but it’s a great little break on a road trip. It’s basically a small preserved rock covered in petroglyphs, tucked right in the middle of a neighborhood (don’t worry, you’re not lost when GPS takes you through the houses). No bathrooms or facilities, and no shade, so I imagine it gets brutally hot in summer. But in spring? Perfect weather. Great spot to let the kids and dog stretch their legs and do a little rock climbing. Super quick and easy detour if you’re passing through
Cassandra W — Google review
It is wild that this is smack in the middle of a neighborhood! There is no parking lot, just pull over to the side of the road infront of the rock. This is a beautiful, tiny park with so much history. The informational signs are a nice addition.
Dominique N — Google review
Cool petroglyph covered boulder with some appearing to be more ancient than the others. When you arrive, Park near the red fire hydrant (not next to it), then walk directly towards the large rock that's lying down. Look for for stippling (To dot, fleck, or speckle) on the bottom left side (see images). Petroglyph stippling in Utah can date back thousands of years, with some rock art attributed to the Fremont Culture, which existed from around 300 to 1300 BC. Other petroglyphs may be even older, potentially created by Ice Age artists over 10,000 years ago.
Darrell W — Google review
Not exactly a park, but rather a cool scenic spot at the end of a neighborhood. Super cool though to look at the petroglyphs and the views of the mountains are awesome.
Lucy B — Google review

Linda L — Google review
This place is in the middle of a subdivision. It has one, maybe two rocks with petroglyphs. I'm not even sure if this is real or not. Meaning if it is truly left behind by ancient inhabitants. It's definitely not what we expected.

Another visit here. We are from out of town so we don't stop by often. All our food was delicious! The service was amazing again!! This was our families first visit here. We loved it!! Our server started everything off perfectly. She was patient with us and very helpful with many menu items. She suggested many options and they were all great! We had cheeseburgers, fries, piccadilly chips, freezes, glaciers, and pups(corn dogs). The service was amazing and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Update, since reopening and new ownership they did a great job cleaning up inside. Great flavor to the burgers, excellent toasted bun, crispy fried onion rings, and tasty glacier to top it off. Definitely a classic, I felt like a kid again. Prior to new ownership. Great onion rings, beer battered onion rings good crisp, soft onion you can dip in there yummy fry sauce. Never heard of fry sauce?...for those who have not heard of it, its a mixture base of ketchup and mayonnaise, then whatever the proprietary may add to make it there 'signature' sauce. Yup thousand island minus the relish. But some have better sauces than others. So basically don't pass up the onion rings. I thoroughly enjoy the nostalgia of the place, however it would be great if it was cleaned up, spruced up and for those who are not locals give some history and pictures on the drive-in. They are known for there frost top root beer.

Great customer service! Staff are friendly and helpful. Service was quick. Onion rings and fries were delicious with good portions. King burger was big and filling. It’s nice you can drive up in your car and they come take your order. We’ll be back to try the shakes and glaciers.

Mary D — Google review
We were greeted by a cheerful nice young lady presumably from Africa. She was delightful and took our order at our car. They were quite busy and the food took maybe 10 mins. Apparently the Hawaiian burger takes longer than other things on the menu. The food was beautifully packed in a to go tray. We also ordered the pastrami burger, two Princes and the Piccadilly Fries. The food was frankly so so. Tastes were alright. The fries were way too greasy - possible cooked in oil that’s too low of temp for whatever reason. A little too much bbq sauce on the Hawaiian burger. All the burgers were ok. We loved the classic look and feel of the restaurant. The food looked great too. Just the taste was a bit underwhelming.

Jared K — Google review
The art was awesome! Especially by the artist #SayakaGanz, who used reclaimed plastic to make beautiful three-dimensional animals (my favorite being a bright red panther). So why one star? 🤔 Well, I understand that not art is really "artistic". For example Sayaka Ganz work was on the upper level, the lower level had another artists' metal sculptures & paintings that just looked thrown together. Some I admit could be designs I don't get. But that's not my issue. I understand that some artists want no photos taken of their art, so I'll respect that. But the one photo I did want to take is below, where I wanted to learn more of this Sayaka Ganz. But I was scolded for doing so, even again after I explained my reason & respect for the actual art. (btw, I had no paper or such to write down the info I wanted) LATER they gave me the two pamphlets below, saying it had on it what I wanted to know (I don't see a website, do you?). I'm just glad I got in free today. 😛😒

Spanning 45,000 acres, the park boasts stunning red-rock cliffs and is surrounded by the Pine Valley Mountains and Dixie National Forest.
This place is amazing! We've driven to St. George a couple times a year for a long time and never even knew it was there. There are only a few hikes at the main parking lot, but they are worth it. We hiked up Red Reef and stopped when the water was too high. Beautiful hike with great trail signage and information. We will definitely come again. Beautiful! We had fun looking at dinosaur footprints. Be aware that it’s much too hot for daytime hiking in the summer.

Easy hike, I only went up to the rock ladder and peeked over so it could keep going but I felt like it was a good turn around point.

This is a great short little hike. We went early morning in July to beat the heat. We were able to catch tiny little frogs and see lots of lizards!

I was recommended this hike by a former Utah resident and friend.

Beautiful hike. Short, you're already in the beautiful parts of the hike as soon as you park.
