I really liked this park. It's very calming. Walking around the park is relaxing, and there are flowers, people paddling and other things to watch. The park is taken care of.

An absolutely amazing green space in the centre of Mendoza. The park is absolutely huge, you could spend hours here. The lake in the centre is a lovely place for a leisurely stroll. There are also several market stalls and food trucks dotted throughout the park. A wonderful place to spend a sunny afternoon.

Park
Plaza Independencia in Mendoza is a vibrant and lively hangout spot, featuring lush greenery, a semicircular fountain, and various vendors. This main square covers 55,000 square meters of green space and boasts rare trees and plants. The centerpiece is the striking Frieze of Independence monument with depictions of significant scenes. Surrounding the plaza are shady pergolas that provide a perfect place to relax and take in the surroundings.
It's a beautiful city park where lots of people come to watch colorful light shows, ever changing fountain, listen to moody music, and have fun otherwise. Salud to the beautiful city Mendoza.

Paolo B — Google review
Very gorgeous park that is super clean, it’s used as intended and safe. Wonderful park that in the afternoon has people selling their artisanal crafts
Brutally H — Google review
Plaza Independencia is a beautiful and lively place to spend some time in Mendoza. The park is filled with huge, mature trees that offer plenty of shade, and the sound of the water fountains adds a really peaceful vibe. In the center, there’s an underground museum that’s worth checking out. It feels totally safe, with families, couples, and friends relaxing on benches or shopping at the pop-up vendor booths. A great spot to take a walk, sit with a coffee, or just enjoy the energy of the city.
John C — Google review
This is exactly what a park should be. A place for everyone to hang out, escape the chaos of daily life and relax with your friends or loved ones. I visited the park during the Christmas time and it was decorated accordingly with a market on Tuesday and a beautiful Christmas tree. The sunset in the park was beautiful and we were lucky to catch a glimpse of a fountain show accompanied by Disney music. The Avengers theme is to this day goosebump inducing. Walking through the park was the first time during my stay here that it actually felt like Christmas. A lovely place and I truly recommend hanging out here!
Animesh G — Google review
This is Mendoza's biggest park and has a pretty fountain. It is a very interesting place where you can see performances and artistic activities everywhere on weekends. There are a lot of people, but it's not unpleasant. I was fascinated by the lively atmosphere there. The streets are not dirty, music is flowing, and small temporary stores sell various cute ornaments, bowls, and souvenirs, so I think it would be interesting to watch even if I didn't buy them. While in Mendoza, I visited this place every evening to take a walk or sit down and listen to music. It was a very nice place.
Wonny — Google review
Good plaza\park with artist selling, the water fountain has a show and is the center of Mendoza city but you have to be careful there is a lot of people stealing or doing drugs
Bryan H — Google review
Love this place. There is such a great vibe here. You feel totally safe, even with tons of people around. The park is surrounded by tons of great restaurants. The water show at nice is cool.

State park
Plaza Chile is a beautifully landscaped square that serves as a serene oasis in the bustling city. This charming space features a delightful fountain, shade trees, and a statue symbolizing the friendship between Argentina and Chile. It's an ideal spot for families, with children enjoying the nearby playground while older visitors relax with their newspapers under the gentle sun. Originally named Plaza Lima to honor Peru's aid during earthquake relief efforts, it was later renamed to celebrate the significant Chilean community in Mendoza.
Not the best looking or cleanest plaza in Mendoza but it has a nature feel to it, dog friendly you can let you dog run around and other dogs are usually there, the plaza has a fountain in the middle in special occasions they dye the fountain colors there you can also see some people taking showers from time to time, there is a statue of San Martín y O'Higgins and is to due with friendship. They also celebrate the Chilean Independence Day I think is September 18
Bryan H — Google review
Plaza Chile is a tribute to the neighbouring country for the help given to the inhabitants of Mendoza during the 1861 earthquake. It has a fountain of dancing water and on one side the sculpture that symbolizes the friendship between Argentina and Chile which can be seen represented by two heroes - San Martín and O'Higgins - shaking their hands on the back. Between their benches there are eucalyptus, blossomed rosebuds and autochthonous trees. Quieter than the other squares.
Taylor D — Google review
A peaceful and tree filled plaza that celebrates the deep friendship between Argentina and Chile. The centerpiece is a large stone monument honoring San Martín and O’Higgins, two national heroes who fought side by side for independence from Spain. The inscription “Amistad Inmortal” (Immortal Friendship) perfectly captures the spirit of unity between the two nations. The park is surrounded by massive old trees that provide plenty of shade and a sense of calm right in the middle of the city. There is a large fountain in the center of the plaza which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. During my visit, a group of kids were dancing the Cueca, Chile’s traditional dance, which made the experience even more special. It’s a nice spot to relax, enjoy a bit of history, and feel the cultural connection that binds the people of Mendoza and Chile.
John C — Google review
It's a tiny but beautiful city park.

Plaza Italia is a vibrant hub of activity during the week-long festival, offering folklore concerts and Italian food and entertainment. The Via Blanca parade on Friday features illuminated floats, while the Carrusel carnival parade on Saturday showcases beauty queens throwing local produce to cheering crowds. The Acto Central in Parque San Martin hosts a gala performance leading up to the election of the festival queen.
Plaza Italia is a very nice plaza the fountain is really beautiful and at night it lights up looking even better it has a playground and some sculptures and the nature feel with all the trees that it has. They usually do a lot of events and even artesanal sells
Bryan H — Google review
Plaza Italia for me was a lot quieter than the other squares. Lacked atmosphere but definitely worth a visit. A nice place for a siesta! The name was chosen to pay tribute to the Italian community for their active social life in the Cuyo province. Plaza Italia shelters important sculpture masterpieces like the Roman Wolf with Romulus and Remus being suckled by the wolf. Its artist was Luis Perlotti and the sculpture represents the foundation of Rome. In addition to this, it has friezes and maiolicas with Italian design. On one of its vertexes, there is a playground for the little ones.
Taylor D — Google review
Plaza Italia – Mendoza, Argentina One of the four plazas surrounding Mendoza’s main square, Plaza Independencia, Plaza Italia is a peaceful and elegant tribute to the city’s Italian heritage. The square was originally called Lima, but in 1918 it was renamed to honor Italy and the many Italian immigrants who helped shape Mendoza in the 19th and 20th centuries. At the center stands a beautiful marble monument created by sculptor Luis Perlotti, symbolizing the strong bond between Argentina and Italy. The plaza is lined with tall palm trees and shaded benches—perfect for relaxing, people-watching, or enjoying a quiet stroll. It’s a lovely, well-kept spot that captures both history and tranquility right in the heart of Mendoza.

Very nice park. You should at least step by if you're around. Having said that, if you are not near nor have time or are willing to get there. San Martin Park is the way to go, much bigger and nicer and near to the Cerro.

It's an impresive place, green gras that invites you to have a picnic and a path for those who love running are two of the atractives of this park. You see people who cares and takes care of the park by only throwing garbage on the garbage cans. It's an excelente place for sports.

Youth hostel
Gorilla Hostel in Mendoza offers simple dorms, some with balconies, and a lively atmosphere with a bar and an outdoor pool. It is considered the best hostel for digital nomads due to its bright common rooms, affordable single rooms, and suitable environment for working remotely. The hostel is ideally located and provides air-conditioned rooms, free WiFi, a garden, and a shared kitchen.
A great hostel in such a central location. The dorms are clean and have lockers. The social areas are great, especially the garden.
Amy S — Google review
Pros: Almost all of the staff was incredibly friendly. Super safe, great location, comfortable beds, nice to hang out by the pool. Beds include a curtain, sockets and a light so it provides a privacy you need. Cons: The price is quite high but despite that the breakfast is quite poor. What they offer changes everyday but mainly sweets, and for someone who rarely consumes sweets I barely took advantage of the breakfast included. I think if they charge between 24 to 28.000 pesos a night they should have in offer two breakfast options every day ie. Sweet and savory. The pool is there but it's like a nice addition because it's not clean enough to swim actually. The bar is open till 2 am on Friday and Saturday so if your room is overlooking the patio it gets quite noisy. Somehow the common showers and bathroom were in better shape than the ones that were in the rooms. The kitchen deserves more attention for cleaning.
Başak Ç — Google review
Decent place. I got on well with one of the receptionist who was very kind to me. The pool is very nice and garden too. Only complaint is the number of rules and the threat of fines. I was also stopped from bringing a cup of tea to the room even though I said I’d bring it down and wash it. Seems they don’t trust backpackers. I had a good experience overall.

Great social hostel. Really nice rooms and bathrooms. One of the best we've stayed in. Good location to restaurants and bars. Daily social activities and overall great vibes. Slightly annoying they charge corkage to bring your own wine. Especially in the mecca of wines, it would be nice to enjoy your bodega wines without charge. But very accommodating and good spaces to chill. Laundry is available here at a reasonable price.

I would like to express my gratitude for this amazing experience at Gorilla Hostel! Everything was perfect from day one— the staff, the guests, and the overall vibe. All areas were clean, modern, and really made me feel at home. Mendoza has become a special place for me, and if you're looking for a hostel, you should definitely stay here without hesitation. Hostel Estacion Mendoza is a laid-back accommodation option located just 1 km from the center of Mendoza and a short drive from Parque General San Martin. The hostel offers simple dorms and private rooms, some with views of the patio. Guests can enjoy amenities such as an outdoor pool, BBQ area, and shared kitchen. While some visitors found room for improvement in areas like bed comfort and bathroom facilities, many praised the friendly and helpful staff who organize activities like communal BBQs.
A great place to stop for a few days. The staff were friendly, facilities were good & clean and other guests were laid back and happy to chat. Nice pool (although small!) and the fridges were always full of good beers & wines.
Jeremy W — Google review
STAY AWAY!!! Nothing is okay with this hostel except cleanliness. I arrived at 7h30 after an 18h bus and despite the fact that the dorm was half empty and therefore my bed ready I couldn’t access it unless I payed a full night fee. There is nowhere to relax comfortably. The staff is the most unkind, unfriendly I’ve had in 2 months in Argentina except from 1 guy usually working nights who is friendly. The rest is just simply the worst, not a smile, on their phone all the time and simply unkind. One of the employee only talked to me to ask for cigarettes. No service what so ever. I stayed one week : 2 days with no water so no shower at night + 1 night with only cold water. I got food and alcohol stolen from my bag with my name on it. No social atmosphere at all. No diner or anything organised, nothing is made for meeting people. The pool is tiny and dirty. The breakfast is the most basic one (toast with butter and jam, grapes if you arrive early because when it’s finished they refuse to put some more, horrible chemical « orange juice »). After c/o I wanted to access the bathroom from upstairs which was refused to me to make sure I wouldn’t shower : I find it « funny » knowing that I had to shower somewhere else for 2 days. I backpacked through Asia, Europe and South America and it’s only my 3rd negative comment in all those years. You can do better anywhere else in Mendoza, I was personally just too lazy to change hostel as I was hardly there but to sleep.
Ophélie B — Google review
1 star as 0 is not possible Hostel to avoid !!!! There are bed bugs !!!! When we explained to them that we wanted a refund because there were bed bugs, they laughed in front of us. In the end, we only got half our money back because we were scammed when we paid, and we couldn't prove it.

I love this place so much! I highly recommend any international travel or tourist to stay here. You will meet the best people and have a terrific time. The staff is amazing, dedicated and always consistent. If you need a reason to fall in love with Mendoza, stay the this hostel!

Really liked this place. The staff is super friendly and helpful with any question. They did an asado (BBQ) for everyone in the hostel and was absolutely delicious (for ARS200 each and totally worth the money) The beds are comfortable, everything is clean and the kitchen is well equipped. I which could had stayed longer but they were fully booked.

Excellent place for the price. Beds could be improve. Breakfast is ok for argentinian breakfast. You can book excursions right from there and get special discounts by booking more than one. Prices for excursions were more than excellent booking from the hostel compared to other places I looked for when doing my reaserch. Attention is excellent. Bathrooms ok. Towels for hire, bring your own. Lockers are not very secure.

Fuxia Jungle Hostel, located in the heart of Mendoza's historic center, is highly praised for its central location and overall experience. The hostel offers private rooms with fresh bed linen and private bathrooms, as well as shared spaces like a lounge and kitchen. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a pool, spacious indoor and outdoor areas for relaxation or work, comfortable beds with curtains, and air conditioning.
Stayed at Fuxia for one week and it felt like home. The girls in the reception are the sweetest. The breakfast is nice. I enjoyed the common areas, and especially the kitchen is cute. You can cook while almost being at the pool. Location is perfect and close to agencies, the market and nice parks.

Unfortunately they care more about the electricity bill then they care about their customers. In the 35 degree heat the air conditioning is still not turned on in the rooms, only at night between 11pm and 7am which makes it unbearable...there is not really a lot of places to chill and socialise either besides the pool and the small working area so no place to escape the heat during the day which is a real pity.showers and most toilets do not have lockers as well which makes the whole experience quite unusual and uncomfortable. Unfortunately not the cleanest place either, everywhere on the floor there is hair and dust...Location is good but not good enough to cover for all the negativity I mentioned. Overall I definitely do not recommend to stay here

Amazing hostel, affordable and well organized. Convenient location, walking distance from Plaza Independencia and Mendoza downtown. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

One of the best hostels I have been to! I was supposed to only stay 3 nightd and I ended up spending 10! It is very well located in the center, the facilities are great and comfortable: pool, lots of space inside and outside for chilling out or for work, comfortable beds with curtains, airco. The hostel organizes a lot of activities like wine tasting, barbecue, bike tour of the wineries etc, which is great to meet other travelers. And most of all: it is super clean thanks to the hard work of the chicas de la limpieza, and the receptionists go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, and they will help you with anything you ask for! Special thanks to Ale and Valentina!
Anne-Claire — Google review
The owners won't allow to enter food or beverages bought outside, *not even water*. They confiscated the water bottles from the rooms while I was there, all because the people I met there and I wanted to buy some wine to drink by the pool. According to them, you can only eat and drink what you buy from them, they disrespected us and treated us in a violent manner only because of that. It's shameful that they are so rude to customers, and sad because the facilities are good and create a nice atmosphere overall for travelers. Alas they ruin it with rules that go against everything you'd expect from a hostel: bringing your own food and drinks to share. If you visit Mendoza and buy bottles from a winery, they won't allow you to keep it with you and they'll store it where you can't see it and can't tell if someone else is taking it when checking out. Worse than that, the same owners run many other hostels in the city so there's no escape from their lack of expertise in the business.
Judith B — Google review
Could be 5 stars, but a few particulars aren’t great. -The main thing is that they allow smoking by the pool, and many guests smoke frequently. Because of the open-air concept, the smell of smoke integrates into the indoor common areas and remains. Thankfully the 6-bed dorm room I stayed in didn’t smell. As someone who is allergic to smoke, this posed a considerable discomfort. -The en-suite toilet and shower are built in such a way that they create a lot of noise in the dorm room. The lighting is also wired so that a light can’t be on in the shower cubby without also have a light on in the room. Positives: -Curtains on the beds, decent-sized lockers, decent breakfast, kind and helpful reception staff, swimming pool
Melissa H — Google review
We stayed for 2 nights in an 8-bed mixed dorm and we were amazed by the accommodation. The beds were brand new with a fully equipped bathroom (shower had great pressure and hot). The staff were very accommodating and volunteered to help out with whatever you required. Would definitely recommend this hostel and will return if we are back in Mendoza.

Parque Provincial Aconcagua is a renowned natural area featuring mountains and archaeological sites, making it a popular destination for hiking and adventure sports. The park is home to Cerro Aconcagua, standing at 6962m (22,841ft) as the highest peak outside the Himalayas, attracting climbers from around the world. For non-climbers, there are opportunities to hike to base camps and rustic shelters below the permanent snow line.
Amazing hike up to Confluencia. The round trip was about 6 hours, allowing for stops for photos, drinks and snacks. The views of Aconcagua and the surrounding mountains are breathtaking. You have to reserve a time online and then pay before you arrive. You check in before you set off as well as when you arrive at the Base camp. Wear sunscreen!
John D — Google review
Absolutely beautiful scenery. A bit difficult to negotiate the paths as people have strayed from the set routes a lot. Would have loved more time here, it's a fantastic park.
Krystyna W — Google review
5 stars for the park - 1 star for the reservation / payment / access process The access procedure is soooo complicated but absolutely worth it!. Please make sure to preregister your visit on the Parque Aconcagua site. When you get to the main entrance you will need this in order to pay your entrance to the park. Once the payment is completed then you have to go to the office next door to show proof of payment where you will receive the ticket to access the park. Honestly, too many steps that could be combined in just one. If you are driving, you will be able to access the park for around 1 km, then you will have a 15 minute walk to the first lookout at about 3,000 meters. From here you have an amazing view of the Aconcagua. For those fit individuals, you can keep walking for another 45 minutes to another lookout / bridge.
Carmen L — Google review
Otherworldly landscape. Air is slightly thinner as hikes start nay 3000m. Be sure to bring cash to pay entry, it's possible to pay with card but they charge 20% more.
Sven R — Google review
Amazing landscape, you have to make a reservation in advance and check in when you arrive in the park but they provide you with a bag for garbage and some other useful information. Just be careful with the mean of transport if you're using the bus because they don't drop you off very close to the park entrance and you have to walk a few kilometers by the highway
Rareș M — Google review
The reservation process is cumbersome. Without the help of our hotel concierge we probably couldn’t have navigated it. The price to enter is very low. We drove 3 hours from Maipu, and the drive is truly beautiful. We did the shortest hike, which is the Laguna, and it took 2.5 hours. The hike starts at about 9.5K ft elevation and goes above 10K ft elevation. It’s relatively flat and peaceful. The helicopters are flying back and forth bringing supplies to the people who are doing the Summit climb. It’s beautiful, peaceful and I am glad I was able to experience it.
Georgia L — Google review
The road from Mendoza to the park gate is well built but only one lane. People taking road trips to Chile use this road too. So 3 hours for 110 KM. Also need more vendors on the ground to sell water, soup, UV protection & etc. Great view.
Silvia X — Google review
Amazing park just on the east side of Andes mountains. The welcome center had very good and helpful information. The views are spectacular and breath taking. The hiking trails run for many kilometers and every step of the way was wonderful. Highly recommended you take extra water and a wind breaker because the winds sometimes can pick up. Fully enjoyed hiking here in view of the tallest mountain in South America.

This zoo like all others disgust me! When are they going to learn, especially the tourists visiting?! How can you all sleep at night? You had the opportunity to move poor Arturo to a better place but made excuses! Any life left in him no matter how old he was was still better spent elsewhere. I can't believe how many years he had been cooped up in that confinement of his! And the state of him too, dirty and clearly distressed! You can make excuses all you want saying how he was 'looked after' and I noticed in some videos he was being sprayed down with a hose to keep him cool in the torturous heat, did you honestly think that was good enough? Arturo should have been in his natural habitat, what a waste of life! You should all be ashamed, let this hopefully be your lesson! RIP Arturo
Chelsey F — Google review
This place is an absolute DISGRACE. For years Arturo was kept in those conditions and no one at that miserable zoo did anything about it! Everyday they walked right by this suffering creature and did nothing. The owner/ overseer should go to jail! His condition and subsequent death could have been prevented... but they did NOTHING to save him!! That poor bear obviously looks like he is in agony and utter distress. What a shame. Something must be done. May God have mercy on their souls.
Cathy G — Google review
I like to think every human being deserves the benefit of the doubt, but this is idealistic at best. Those that did this, not only are their actions deplorable, but they are simply lesser, more primitive humans. If you can live with seeing Arturo, for example, in his condition for 22 years, you must have a more primitive version of the human anatomy. I can't think of any other reason. All in, Zoos must go.
Samuel R — Google review
ALL zoos are sick and despicable. ALL the animals will eventually die a lonely horrible death in captivity. Zoos are nothing but miserable jails for animals. Human criminals live in better conditions than animals in zoos. Our world is so sick it is disheartening. Your polar was so miserable and still all you can see are dollar signs!! What kind of soulless person puts an animal from the Arctic climates to hot Argentina!!! Zoos are just the beginning. People's fur trim jackets, so-called farm animals in nightmarish slaughterhouses... one evil is not lesser than the other evil but what you did to Arturo is mortifying. SHAME ON YOU. .. and shame on anyone supporting zoos of any kind.
Bernadett — Google review
I have never been to your zoo this is the truth so I cannot say for definite how the animals are treated. I have seen the petition for the polar bear though and I pray this is not true. To keep him in those conditions is nothing but a slow cruel painful death and I would much rather visit somewhere that cares.deeply for its animals. I hope it is not true but if it is I would suggest you do the right thing
Jess P — Google review
This place is awful. How they treat their animals is disgusting. I refuse to support a business that is willfully treating their animals like this. To have a polar bear exposed to high temperatures and not have any escape for him and no clean fresh water for him is torture. The owners of this zoo, should have to live like these animals are living. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Cheryl M — Google review
A park run by selfish inconsiderate beings who kept an innocent polar bear in a concrete pit all alone and in severe unkind conditions just to exhibit him as if he was an object. They stood by years after years, watching the bear becoming slowly insane, turning him into the saddest animal on the planet, refusing to let animal organizations to save him. I strongly suggest you never visit this "park" so that people like the ones running this hell, stop harming innocent animals.
Evita S — Google review
FREE ARTURO: The Polar Bear In Despair We as a united world are coming to you to do the humane thing and set Arturo the polar bear at the Mendoza Zoo free – to stop keeping him enslaved in a concrete cell where the extreme heat of your country and the poor and inappropriate living conditions in which he resides, which are taking a toll upon his well-being and his health. We are requesting that you provide the medical records needed so that a transfer permit can be issued to get ARTURO to an animal sanctuary – where he will be able to receive the medical attention that he is in dire need of and have his basic needs met for a happier and fulfilling life. Countless people have cried and pleaded with you for quite some time to do the honorable thing, but you and the officials at the Mendoza Zoo seem to be turning a blind eye to what is happening to the innocent soul, ignoring the signs and putting your own pride before the welfare and well being of this animal – and it is a shame that such a beautiful country would do such a disgraceful thing to a magnificent being. We, humanity, will no longer stand for our voices to go ignored and unheard – We will continue to RAISE OUR PAWS and voices until you finally do the act of compassion and set free this life that is slowly dying in your hands, a life that can be saved if only you would open your hearts and give him a chance for a better life then what he has now. Do not let an innocent life perish due to your own personnel feelings or intentions – you must think about the best interest of this animal, as we are by requesting that you set him free – together we can show the greatness of our nation, and it is up to you to take the next step in raising your paw to show that life is important and should not be enslaved.

Great area to hike. A couple of tips: you must buy tickets online first, the ride in is through a dangerous area, don’t walk to it. Ubers will be hard to get going back to Mendoza, but they can call a taxi for you. I paid cash when I got here. Beautiful hike
Dennis F — Google review
Amazing trail! Well managed and decently well marked. Great variety of up and down section with changing landscapes and soil types. The park ranger is very kind and spoke English. We did the moderate trail in 90 mins. He called us a taxi home after the hike. We thought about taking the bus from downtown to the small town and walking 15 mins as it says on the website. I strongly suggest taking a taxi or Uber. Our taxi driver confirmed the town is not safe for tourists to walk through. Bring water, I can see how the riverbed section could get to +40c in the summer.
Drew D — Google review
Very helpful at the front desk, we were able to pay in cash - I know some people said you couldn’t. Great route (we did the long one) but little shade so come prepared. Scenery changes quite a lot, generally very enjoyable! Easy to get a taxi to but quite hard to get one back (we walked which was a little sketchy).
Harry H — Google review
The hiking trails here are very fun and relatively easy. In some places it seems very remote. It is a short drive from the city but do not try to walk because the neighborhood outside of the park is not safe. The park ranger was very nice, informative, and he spoke English which was helpful for me. You need to purchase a ticket online prior to entry which can be done through the park website.

Mostly very easy but next to the waterfall some climbing is necessary and the sandstone is not very reliable...don't forget to be aware. The foxes are super cute! :)

I love the trekking routes, there are 3, long, medium, short. The routes have different levels of difficulty but not hard. The scenery is incredible and it changes constantly.
Stevens A — Google review
This is a really nice experience to have when you want a not so hard trekking. Take your water and have fun. I just don't recommend to get there by bus because the neighbourhood is kinda of scary, so an uber should be better.
Vanuza C — Google review
Interesting place and definitely worth the effort. Quite hard to figure out how to enter as a foreigner but you 1/ book a slot online using their website detailed below. 2/ Either go into a Pago Fácil store (a Western Union kiosk) pay and receive receipt of that or 2b/ Book a slot and rock up and pay in cash. 3/ Uber from town through a dodgy neighbourhood (according to taxi driver). Once there, there is no shade, so don't go at midday (like me), you will get mild sunstroke. Getting back can be hard since Uber keeps cancelling. The guides stationed there can call a cab for you though (2500 for a round-the-houses trip back to the center). You could combine with a trip up Cerro De La Gloria on the way back if super keen.
