Vairoletto cafe & resto offers generous portions of delicious food and provides good service, although the building may require some refurbishment. While there were instances of forgotten orders and longer wait times, the quality of the food remained consistently excellent. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy some awesome meals.

I was travelling from San Martin de los Andes to Bariloche and was in Malargue for 1 day. Wanted to have something good to eat and something healthy so I had the goat lasagna and Cesar salad. Restaurant was nearly empty and I still had to wait considerable time before my food was served. Cedar salad was perfect and the goat lasagna with pesto was good but I think I will order it next time with some sauce (ie bolognese)

This restaurant was refereed by a tour guide so we decided to go as a family. They had run out of trucha so we had to get other food. We asked for 4 specials but they had also run out of that so we only got 2 specials and the others had to ask for different plates. We asked to speak with the manager and she refused to give us any concessions. Most of the food we order was not good. A couple of us took left overs home but I asked to place my left over food in my to go box. The server brought the box but no plastic cover. Ridiculous service overall. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.
You have to make reservations but the food here a delightful experience for anyone's palette. We had a beef slowly cooked in white wine and loved every bite. The waiters and staff are kind and professional. Please take cash for tips as they can't be added be added to your card tab. This was the best restaurant that my husband and I had the chance to eat while visiting the town of Malargűe, Mendoza Argentina
I came here because of the ratings. The food was average and the service appalling. Really slow and, after I finished eating I spent 20 to 25 minutes seating there with the empty plate and nobody checked on me. I was planning on getting dessert but instead I had to get up and talk to the cashier to get billed.
Stay away from here if you want average to good service as here, it does not exist.

El Bodegón de María has become the go-to spot for a downtown Malargue parilla experience, especially with Quincho closed. The restaurant offers sophisticated steak creations that stand out in the Argentine culinary scene. While wait times can be long and meat quality may vary at times, it remains a top choice in the area, with few comparable alternatives nearby such as Rio Grande and La Cima.
With Quincho apparently closed for long time, Bodegon steals the top spot for a "downtown" Malargue parilla restaurant with suprisingly sophisticated (for Argentine standards) creations based, of course, around steaks. Wait times are long and meat quality may be occasionally inconsistent, but it's still top class in a wide area (the only comparable places being Rio Grande and La Cima).

We were pleasantly surprised by our experience at Entre Cielos Restaurante. The positive reviews we read before visiting didn't steer us wrong. The service was excellent, the establishment itself is stunning, and the food was absolutely delicious. We indulged in a mouthwatering burrata appetizer, homemade fettuccine that was incredibly tasty, and a salmon dish accompanied by perfectly cooked potatoes. The wine selection complemented our chosen menu exceptionally well.

We were staying nearby and tried stopping by the first night since they are open late and they said they had nothing open at the gate. The next night made a reservation but it was absolutely dead so I'm not sure if they were actually busy or each weekday is different (both midweek days).
Ok so for food - we had 3 gazpacho dishes on our trip and this was our favorite over 2 other Michelin star restaurants. It is fabulous. Pumpkin risotto is solid. Chicken was a bit dry but sauces good. Good presentation on all dishes and good cocktails!
