Peroulia Beach Restaurant 1984 is a fantastic establishment in the area, where visitors can enjoy delicious meals for both lunch and dinner. The quality of food is exceptional, with a range of delectable dishes available, including local cuisine and fresh fish. The staff are incredibly friendly and the beach in front of the restaurant is not only beautiful but also suitable for children. It's definitely worth returning to this gem of a place when in the region.
Peroulia is a great find located on a safe shallow bay with super clean water. The staff were polite and inviting and the atmosphere very relaxing. Very comfortable sun beds, delicious food and makes a yummy pint colada 🍹

Fantastic experience. Hospitable staff, the food was simply delicious, fresh (by far, the best grilled octopus I’ve had). Lovely ambiance and views from their terrace overlooking the blues of the sea . I highly recommend this place!

One must visit this amazing beach when visiting this area. Crystal clear water, sandy beach, amazing restaurant where you could have food and drinks.
Ellie K — Google review
We visited the beach a few times and stopped at the restaurant a few times, had a few drinks and ice creams with the children and the staff was amazing every time. We've also used their car park a couple of times, everyone was lovely and helpful. It has an amazing view as well.

A really great restaurant right on the beech. There was a good variety of food on the menu from classic Greek dishes pasta. All the waiting staff were extremely well dressed in white linen shirts and friendly.

Restaurant
Having frequented Methoni on a regular basis for the past 25 years, exploring various eateries in this charming fishing village located in the southwest corner of the Peloponnese region, it can confidently be said that Nicos remains the preferred and premier choice. Authentically Greek, it operates year-round, offering a diverse menu and exceptional service. The kitchen presents daily specials for patrons to consider. The saganaki is expertly fried to perfection.
Excellent restaurant wiht great service. Lovely seating at night in a closed off road in the shade, normally with a nice breeze. Food is authentic and excellent. Fair pricing. We went there several times when in Methoni.
Günther N — Google review
The first dishes and salads were excellent, very fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, the main courses were below average and a bit disappointing. That said, the service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was charming, located in a quiet alley, which made it quite pleasant. Overall, I would visit again, but next time I’d take a closer look at the cooked dishes before ordering.
Angelos — Google review
Nothing really special and an easy to forgot choice. Food and portion's are OK, Greek gemista ware very good, but even pork souvlaki wasn't easy to chew. They support a rather difficult to understand policy where they prefer to offer the rather hot on the pavement tables and not the more airy ones in the aisle. We asked them if it was possible to split a three in the row table in order to use only two tables and they replied that it was only for a seven people group, that actually never showed up. A welcoming restaurant should always offering the best available space for it's customers. A rather rude behaviour.
George G — Google review
After exploring Methoni Castle we stopped by Nikos Tavern for lunch. It was a wonderful experience! We were invited to the kitchen to view the freshly made options and chose stuffed green peppers and bread for a starter (heavenly!). We then had sardines and a mousaka - which were both super delicious! The atmosphere is very authentic and the service is friendly. Definitely recommend going here for lunch!
Melissa M — Google review
Must say that the food was good however the service really needs improvement they are usually packed during peak hours and in my opinion under staffed we ordered a saganaki which looked more and tasted more like mozzarella sticks my plate of spaghetti with shrimp was good but arrived before the appetizer and long before my wife’s stuffed bifteki I asked the waiter who took the order that we would decide what wine we wanted when the food arrived well that never happened after he took the order he never came back to our table totally unacceptable don’t think we’re going back
Andy K — Google review
Our dinner at Nikos was a delightful journey through the flavors of Greece. From the traditional dishes to the warm and welcoming atmosphere, it was an evening to remember. The top-notch service added the perfect touch to a fantastic dining experience.
Peter J — Google review
Having visited Methoni regularly over the last 25 years, sampling all the tavernas in this great little fishing port in the southwest corner of the Peloponnese, we can say with confidence that Nicos is still our favourite and simply the best. Truly Greek, open all year, with a wide-ranging menu, great service and daily specials to be inspected in the kitchen. The saganaki was lightly fried to perfection and the welcome extra touches included tasty taramasalata with fresh bread before the meal arrived and delicious little sweet pastries when we thought that all was done. We have left Methoni now with memories of good food and a determination to return.
Barry W — Google review
Absolutely awful experience. The service is painfully slow — by the time your food arrives, you’ve forgotten what you ordered. To make things worse, they randomly bring items you never asked for (like bread) and then have the audacity to charge you for them. The place is loud, chaotic, and the chairs are so uncomfortable you’ll be shifting in your seat the entire time. Avoid it if you value your time, money, or spine.

Greek restaurant
Restaurant Parthenon is a delightful culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience, especially for seafood lovers. Nestled in a picturesque setting, it offers stunning views of the sea, making it perfect for special occasions like birthdays. Guests rave about the fresh and flavorful dishes, from the Greek salad to perfectly grilled calamari and whole fish that burst with flavor. The ambiance is enhanced by pleasant bouzouki music, although some diners have noted occasional service hiccups.
We had a fabulous seafood meal at Parthenon Every single meal was delish From the Greek salad , to the excellent fried eggplant , we knew we were in for a treat when the mains arrived I ordered the grilled baby calamari which was soft as butter Wife had the whole tsipoura fish (similar to bream) that oozed flavour We’ve been travelling Greece for 5 weeks and this was the best seafood to date Our lovely waiter Vasilieos treated us like family offering suggestions for the freshest catch of the day His service was 5 stars Have no hesitation only pleasure in recommending this place if you’re staying in Koroni
Ross P — Google review
Great home cooked meals. Super taste and presentation. Lamb chops were grilled perfectly and spiced on the money. Great recommendations from the staff.
Carola J — Google review
A beautiful setting for my special birthday meal with an exquisite sunset. A well balanced Prosecco accompanied superbly fried gavros, delicious horta and average mixed veg. The moussaka was a tasty bake but lacked the authentic flavours of a real one. Service was erratic with a long wait after serving the wine and then a rush with all the dishes - the starter and the main- arriving together. Pleasant enough bouzouki background music was displaced by the 40s singing next door. All in all, a quirky end to a lovely day.
Jacek O — Google review
Very tasty food. Excellent service. Great view. Very nice atmosphere. 100% will come back here again, and try something else from the menu. Highly recommended!

Family run business with awesome food. The octopus melted in our mouths and we had the seafood pasta which was delicious with plenty of salsa to mop up!! The best in town
John L — Google review
We ate fresh fish selected from the fridge standing at the entry of the restaurant. The fish was very good, local fish, very well cooked and with Greek salad and potatoes. The personal was very kind and the place is fantastic, you really have dinner to the border of the sea. To come back.
Michele M — Google review
Food was ok. We ordered 2 different soups, fish and chicken, but they tasted the same because their base was the same! See pics. The beef patties were ok, as were the fries. The seafood platter for 4 looked good. I served next-door a table. See pic. Ample seafood and variety. The service was excruciatingly, slow, despite the fact that there were a few customers.

Every time I visit "home," I make sure to go to Bogris, a Greek restaurant known for its impeccable food. Their home cooking is spot-on and they offer a variety of dishes such as mousaka and lamb in lemon sauce with rice. Even my friends from Canada were astonished at the affordable prices considering the generous portions. The restaurant has a terrace which adds to the overall experience. The food is homemade and delicious, showcasing traditional Greek cuisine.
Really good . Meatballs in lemon sauce in a generous portion and stuffed tomato.
Jeanette C — Google review
We had a lovely meal here on their gorgeous patio! The Greek salad and the carrot and cabbage salad were both fresh and flavorful, and the gigantes (beans) were savory and filling. My wife and I are American and speak no Greek, but we were well taken care of very well and had no issues communicating with the staff. The whole meal was very inexpensive, and the quality of the food was well above the price point by our standards. Bonus appreciation for the friendly neighborhood cats who hang out and greet you hopefully when your food arrives!
Alexander L — Google review
Best moussaka in Koroni, lovely place to eat. Not on the front but the food on the front restaurants is mediocre as they trade on the view. If you want good Greek traditional food you won't go wrong here and its at a very good price. We had 3 main courses and a litre of wine for €54
Allison W — Google review
If you enjoy good, fresh Greek food, this is not the place for you, pleasant though it appears to be. Nothing you eat here is freshly cooked. It is either pre-cooked, heated up and presented tepidly at your table or has been pre-cooked and sitting in a display cabinet for you to select from. Don’t expect service of the normal kind other. With only two serving staff and 50 guests, personal attention is out of the window. If you value good food and service, you are advised to look elsewhere.
Lewis F — Google review
Bogris 2 is a true gem in Koroni! This charming taverna is tucked right by the harbor and has a warm, relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel at home instantly. The food tastes homemade and authentically Greek – classic comfort dishes that are well-prepared, flavorful, and made with love. Everything we tried was of high quality, and you can tell the ingredients are carefully chosen. The service was friendly and personal, and the whole place radiates pride and heart. After trying several restaurants in the village, we can honestly say that Bogris is our favorite – definitely worth a visit if you’re in Koroni!
Popi — Google review
Lovely courtyard setting. A large choice of cooked food and freshly grilled meats and fish. We ordered greek salad (with a very generous slab of feta) and tzatziki (was freshly made and delicious). All portions are very generous. We ordered moussaka and stuffed pepper and tomato from the cooked menu (ask the waiter to check what is available, not everything on the printed menu is available) . Moussaka was very fluffy and light with a gentle nutmeg flavour. Stuffed pepper and tomato (dolmades) were full of soft and flavoursome rice. From the grill, the stuffed meatball (with feta) was outstanding, came with large portion of hand cut chips. Lamb cutlets were sizzling and juicy from the grill, also accompanied by a portion of chips. The house white wine is a great accompaniment. Order the small jugs if you do not want it to get warm! All in all, highly recommend this place. Just be prepared to take it easy as the locals do, there were only two waiters working very hard but if it is a busy night you may need wait a little bit. Totally worth it though!
Neda M — Google review
Waited for 15 minutes for menu and no drinks were ordered or offered. So decided to leave- owner ( I’m guessing) simply said they were full ( not correct less than half) and it was up to us if we didn’t wish to wait so long. Disappointed attitude - went elsewhere for an excellent meal.

Akti Peroulia is a hidden gem that perfectly combines the beauty of nature with delightful culinary experiences. Nestled above a stunning beach, this restaurant offers breathtaking views and delicious traditional Greek dishes, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a day of swimming. The beach itself features shallow waters perfect for games and snorkeling, allowing visitors to enjoy the warm sandy shores. While umbrellas are no longer complimentary due to high demand, there’s still ample space for those who wish to bring their own.
We had a truly delightful experience at Akti Peroulia. The location is absolutely fabulous – a spacious terrace perched above the sea, offering breathtaking views. The food was excellent, made with fresh, local ingredients. The Akti Salad was flavorful and pleasantly surprising, while the Seafood Variety (with calamari, octopus, shrimp, and fish) was a real highlight. We also enjoyed the local Kalamata beer, which paired perfectly with the meal. Service was very good – attentive and friendly without being intrusive. After our meal, we took the lift down to the beach, which was spotless, well organized, and a wonderful place to relax. Overall, it was a fantastic experience in a beautiful setting – highly recommended!
Doru U — Google review
The umbrellas at the beach are no longer free, I am sure it's no fault of the owner as there's great demand and people make reservations. However there is space to bring your own as they haven't covered the entire beach (++ on that). The beach is very nice, shallow and sandy, warm waters. Small bar a few stairs up and a very nice restaurant with parking space and a great view above, with a lift to get down and up, if you want to avoid the wooden stairs. Great experience overall. I suggest calling ahead.
Ioannis T — Google review
Variety of choices for brunch, lunch, dinner etc. Excellent food with unique view of the messinian gulf. Access to the beach using elevator is quite an experience. Very well organised with large parking area. Avoid during week 15th of August due to narrow road and it gets crowded. All other days are fine.
Pantelis G — Google review
We stayed at the beach we paid 15 € for the sunbeds in front of the sea. We had a lunch at the restaurant the view was amazing and the food musaca was very good. There is a parking also by the restaurant.
Biljana S — Google review
Great view fantastic food and a beautiful beach to go with the experience. Ample parking too. A must if you are in the area.
Geo B — Google review
Came here for lunch and it was lovely. We walked up from the beech. The view out across the see is extremely enjoyable. The menu had lots of different options, including a big range of fish. Everything was very reasonable in price. What was particularly nice here was that you were given time to eat your starter and has a pause before the main course. All the other restaurants we ate at brought the mains about 5mins after the starter. When we asked for the bill we were brought a complimentary plate to fruit which was extremely tasty.
Louise M — Google review
+ Excellent beach! Good service! Adequate products quality! - A bit overrated prices + the extra charge for the sunbeds. You can sit on the morning... drink coffee... eat brunch ... enjoy beers... order lunch from the restaurant ... and then finish with some cocktails... Perfect for families, you literally can spend all your day in the sea.
G K — Google review
This tavern is proof that you don’t need to go far in terms of creativity to craft the best Greek dishes – simple, authentic, and made with high-quality ingredients. We were delighted to discover this place where true Greek hospitality meets traditional cuisine, free from unnecessary twists or pretentious attempts at “innovation.” The location, with its uninterrupted sea views, is an ode to simplicity and minimalistic beauty, perfectly complementing the food and atmosphere. The complimentary plate of local seasonal fruits at the end of the meal is a lovely touch and a real bonus. Well done, guys – keep it up!

Nestled in the picturesque region of Messinia, Taverna Maria Tsapi is a delightful culinary gem that has been serving up delicious meals since 1984. Just a short drive from the main road, this charming tavern offers a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for families and friends alike. During my visit in early August, despite the bustling crowd typical of summer, we managed to secure a cozy table. The menu boasts an array of delectable options ranging from savory appetizers to hearty main courses.
Beautiful Taverna next to an amazing beach. Relax in the sunbeds, and treat yourself with great food. We had the best squid ever. Worth the bumpy ride on a gravel road with deep holes.
Michael S — Google review
In the first week of August, we visited with family and friends. The tavern, situated about 15 minutes from the main central road via a winding route. Despite being quite crowded (as expected for the season, making parking challenging), we secured a table. The food was generally very good, ranging from appetizers and salads to main courses. Our orders consisted primarily of beef dishes and pasta for the children. The beers, served in chilled glasses, were particularly noteworthy. Prices were also fair. So if you visit tsapi beach is a very good option to have your lunch there.

Nestled between the luxurious Mandarin Oriental and W Costa Navarino, the newly unveiled Navarino Agora is a vibrant hub that beautifully blends shopping, dining, and entertainment. Drawing inspiration from ancient agoras and traditional village squares, this open-air space invites visitors to explore a variety of shops and indulge in diverse culinary delights ranging from Peruvian to Lebanese cuisine.
Costa Navarino brought a little bit of Miami in Greece with the Navarino Agora at Pylos! An open air complex of restaurants, a bar, some clothing and apparel shops within a man-made gulf with a dock to walk around, chilling with a drink or some ice cream in your hands is the essence of Agora. During the daytime, at sunset, or after sunset, this place looks wonderful and brings joy to your eyes no matter what you do. The restaurants in Agora are mostly serving high quality gourmet food with very few exceptions. You'll find Italian, Spanish, Peruvian, Greek, Mediterranean, Lebanese cuisine. There's also an ice cream and waffles bar with 100% Greek goat milk ice cream. It's free to access for guests (free parking lot just outside the "mall"), so everyone can get a glimpse of the Costa Navarino luxury. Nearby you'll find the Divari and Voidokoilia beach if you'd like to go swimming afterwards or prior. A must visit if you're in the area!

What can I say.. just perfection! The restaurants and food/dessert stores are just incredible. The clothing stores are also amazing! Treated myself to a gorgeous shirt, and I honestly wasn’t sure about it but the sales ladies are amazing at what they do and made me feel gorgeous in it! The location is the agora is also perfect for any W or Mandarin Oriental guests. There’s also parking for those who are not staying at those hotels. All of the staff at the Agora were just incredible. Also the views from this area are just stunning! Cannot recommend enough.

One of the best places to see the sunset in the area. Very good restaurants. Live music every day. Open to everybody so it is very crowded. We have visited the Peruvian restaurant in the middle of the Mall. We have been there twice. First time everything was perfect! The service the food everything . Second time we thought that were in another restaurant. Inexperiened service, quite bad food, felt sorry for the 150 euro we paid without enjoying. Anyway overall good experience but personnel should be trained so as the level of service to be the same

Emmi E — Google review
Very nice site to spend time drinking or dining by the sea, with very nice music and environment. (we did not tried any of them, but I could say that there are expensive but also affordable choices), and also spend money since there are many big brand shops. Also there is open air cinema, and a lot of paths to have nice walks, with kids or not, but it seems that as we have been recommended, the site is better visited in the afternoon / evening (for summer visits). If you find yourself in Koroni, Zorbas is a must-visit for an exceptional dining experience right by the sea. This charming seaside restaurant boasts stunning views of the crystal-clear waters, making it a picturesque spot to enjoy your meal. The warm hospitality and attentive service from the staff create a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Zorbas offers a diverse menu with generous portions, featuring delicious options like tender pork souvlaki and beautifully presented grilled squid.
We had a good dinner at Zorbas located on the water. Portions are decent sized. Food came out quickly even though it was busy. The presentation of the grilled squid was very artful. I thought the lamb chops were a bit fatty but the grill octopus was perfect and the pork souvlaki was tender. The menu is available in Greek, English and German.

Authentic home cooked food. Just what we wanted. Wonderful spinach pies, grilled calamari cooked to perfection with a great salad and superb local cheese. Very prompt and friendly service as well. The view of the harbour is so romantic!
Fiona B — Google review
We paused by on our first afternoon for a quick bite and ordered the beans, fried eggplant and calamari. All were fantastic - light crispy batter, not greasy and lovely flavour. We didn’t find better calamari all holiday. We also returned one evening and were equally as pleased with chicken bbq skewers and whole sea bream. The best traditional Greek of the strip in our opinion!
Sally S — Google review
Very nice view on the sea, nice terrasse. Large choice of meals, generous portions, tasty gyros (chicken gyros in the picture). The service could be quicker (although we ordered a grilled octopus, but other tables were a bit slow too), but the staff was polite. Great time!
Claudine M — Google review
We ate here many times during our vacation in Koroni and absolutely loved it. The food was truly homemade — comforting and delicious — with fresh hand-cut fries, traditional cooked dishes, and freshly caught fish. Everything tasted authentic and full of flavor, just like a home-cooked meal. We highly recommend this place!

Cocktail bar
Bar
Nestled in the charming harbor of Koroni, Roses is a delightful spot that stands out for its inviting atmosphere and exceptional service. Since its inception, this establishment has cultivated a reputation for being more than just another bar; it’s a haven where guests can unwind with expertly crafted cocktails and an impressive selection of drinks. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between relaxed sophistication and cultural charm, making it an ideal place to enjoy a leisurely aperitif or simply soak in the surroundings.
Again I am sorry, that there are only five stars to be given. This place deserves six! It might not be that flash and loud as the other two cocktail bars in Koroni but, by far, the best. The ever helpful and attentive George is not only friendly but makes one feel personally welcome. The setup is composed with timeless taste and creates an atmosphere of relaxed culture. Sitting in comfortable chairs, directly at the harbour, does the rest. Music perfectly subscribes to the easy and light air that is created. No boom boom and bang - but tastefully selected lounge and chill out classics. As if this would not be enough reason to go there, now let's come to the quality of the drinks: my "Pina Colada" could not be any better. It really races with the alcohol free "Fruit Punch" for the championship in the fruity section. The "Negroni" was spot on and the "Mohito" as well as the "Old Fashioned" were a class of its own. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a wonderful summers eve - you have found it
Georg B — Google review
They have the best cocktails and alcohol in Koroni. Little bit pricy than others but worth it because drinks are much better than others bars. Music compilation is more than perfect. I would say it’s 30+ selection of music. Staff is super friendly and nice.

With a carefully curated selection of quality wines at reasonable prices, this delightful shop also features organic olive oil sourced from Yannis's own olive grove.

Small spot, huge vibe! The wine list is super up-to-date and packed with variety- from crisp whites to bold reds and everything in between. It’s amazing how much quality is squeezed into this deli. Bonus: the owners own olive oil is next level.

Simply the best place to buy wine and fabulous olive oil too. We can’t wait to be there as soon as we arrive in Koroni. Gianni is always so generous with his advice
Emma W — Google review
If you are after sound, expert advice on wines from the Peloponnese, and from further afield in Greece and the islands, this is most definitely the place to go to. Yannis offers impeccable, unhurried service, and a comprehensive range of keenly priced quality wines. He also sells organic olive oil from the local variety of olives. A visit to this lovely shop is a real treat!
Vallery T — Google review
Kiari Wine and Deli has a small but well curated wine selection and delicious local olive oil. We went in to buy wine and were thankful for the recommendation by the owner. After chatting, we found out the owner has an olive grove and produces the olive oil sold in the shop.

I'm just tasting a wonderful red wine we bought during Easter (Nemea Agiorgitiko 2022) and it's amazing. It made me think about the superb service we got in this deli. What it doesn't have in size it makes up for in knowledge, friendliness, passion and amazing selection. I'll be back 👍

If you find yourself in Koroni, make sure to stop by the Art Studio - Showroom 'Xristina Tsakoumakou'. This charming shop is a treasure trove of exquisite handmade jewelry, unique ceramics, and stylish clothing. Visitors rave about the warm atmosphere and exceptional service that makes every shopping experience memorable. The studio showcases an impressive variety of long jewelry pieces crafted from silver, alongside stunning painted scarves and stoneware ceramics that truly stand out.
I went several time to gallery X, I like so much the place and the artist creating there. She has a lot of different wonderful pieces like painted scarves or stoneware ceramics. Astonishing jewelleries. It is a real experience you should do too. Artists like her are seldom and need your patronage if you like what she does. More than a souvenir it's pieces of art you will enjoy everyday.
