We visited with a party of six. The restaurant was able to accommodate our dietary restrictions, which included one vegan and one halal. Communication about these restrictions was possible prior to the visit which was great. The owner walked everyone through their menu options and took lots of time to make sure everyone was happy. He also recommended an excellent wine that we ended up ordering a second bottle of. The food is good, but won’t compete with “real” fine dining experiences. Fairly traditional, with everything being executed at around a 7 or 8 out of 10. All of this is great for the price. Our only complaint were the wait times: we spent close to four hours here, and there was a bit too much time between courses for some of our party members. The restaurant was packed, and staff looked stressed. Ambiance was great. We sat outside. The beef dish is served with a katana which I thought was a bit quirky and unnecessary but I won’t judge!

We had a big party that ate here and Patrick Feuga was polite and accommodating. The food amazing and I will never forget my dinning experience. Going to his restaurant is worth the travel.

I think it's important to understand why you're visiting this type of restaurant before booking. You'll be granted small quantities of food but the quality is exceptional. It's very much a gastronomical experience. The service matches the food in terms of overall care, politness, explanations and welcoming. We were treated very well overall. Not that we ever expected it but we were able to not only communicate with the waiters in french but also via their fantastic level of English. The outdoor setting was sublime, lovely private ish section of a small square surrounded by trees, nice lighting and the subtle sound of various other restaurants and bars in the distance. It's the perfect balance. The only small thing which wasn't appreciated was how they offered their cognac to us at the end and mentioned how long it had been developing inside the carafe despite not mentioning that it was in fact not only a free departing gift but actually 15 euros for about 20ml. You'd feel rude saying no after their passionate pitch but without a mention of price..you would naturally assume it to be free considering it's not a cheap place to dine. Other than that small detail, a fully enjoyable experience, would absolutely recommend to people of all ages.

Nice setting, quiet atmosphere, nice food, good overall, nothing amazing though. Very friendly and spoke English. As the menu per head is quite expensive, we expected the shot of cognac to be on the house but wasn’t when we got the bill and were charged 15€ for the small shot. A bit misleading.

This would have been a three but after my husband told me we were charged for the wine that the waitress came and topped up our glasses with right at the end, I was very annoyed at this. If you charge ppl for the wine pairing and then come top us up at the end, you can't then charge for an entire new glass. thieves. I agree with most reviews 2023. Le Relais Perigourdin caught my attention by its sign hanging above the street and the menues confirming commitment to Perigourd gastronomy. Its a quirky place serving OK food. Tried the steak Rossini "a point" which disappointed needing quite some sawing action to get through the fibres - most of it stayed on the plate. The salads were OK. I don't think I'd give Le Relais Perigourdin a second chance just because there is plenty of appealing competition in town.

I stopped by in Perigueux during a long drive to the south of France with my girlfriend and it was the only restaurant that would accomodate us at the time we arrived (9PM). The restaurant is very quaint, with an open kitchen from which wonderful smells eminated. The host was very attentive and explained the menu in detail and offered excellent wine suggestions. The menu changes every month and only contains a few items which is a good sign regarding the fact that the ingredients used to prepare our food were fresh. Despite the 6 choices of mains, it was very hard to decide on what to pick as the menu seemed very well curated. I opted for a foie gras and echourgnac ravioli for starters with duck magret as a main while my girlfriend chose vegetarian options, specifically the echourgnac pastry fingers and mushroom risotto. We were very pleased and would certainly return if we didn't live in a different country.

Perfect restaurant for a large group of friends. Waiter was English speaking and explained everything well on the menu. They catered for vegetarians/vegans and had GF options too. Truly delicious food thank you so much guys for an amazing evening, we will be back!

We had such a wonderful meal here! The proprietor, Phillipe, is an excellent host. He explained each dish on the menu to us (in English!) and they all sounded delicious. Then he helped us select some local wines to enjoy with our lunch. Each dish was spectacular, and my partner was able to enjoy a vegetarian French meal that rivaled the meat dishes! The prices are extremely reasonable (16.5€ for 3 course lunch, plus drinks). We can’t recommend 66 degres highly enough.

Je me suis régalé avec cette glace maison et garde pour moi le "secret" de son parfum. le choux aurait gagné à être moins sec, mais bon ça passe très bien, la crème fouettée était particulièrement agréable épaisse et rafraîchissante. En apéro une sangria maison particulièrement agréable et rafraichissante, Pour accompagner le repas un très bon pecharmant recommandé par le chef servi au verre. La bonne surprise se conclut par l'addition... Nous n'avions pas compris a l'ardoise la tarification... On a eu boissons comprises pour 91€ seulement !! Le rapport qualité prix par rapport à ce qu'il y a dans l'assiette et par rapport au travail engagé autour des plats est juste excellent.
