iPlay America is a massive indoor fun center in Freehold, New Jersey that offers a wide range of activities for the whole family. From bumper cars and go-karts to laser tag and video games, there's no shortage of entertainment options. The venue recreates the lively atmosphere of the Jersey Shore with boardwalk-style games and two-story buildings. It's an ideal destination for families with kids, offering a variety of indoor activities and mouthwatering delicacies at the bar & grill.
I came for my nephew JJ’s 5th birthday party. The kids had a blast. Non stop playing. The staff were all extremely helpful and kind. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
Lorene L — Google review
We recently visited iPlay, and while there were definitely some highlights, there were also a few frustrations that I think are worth sharing. The boardwalk-style atmosphere was awesome—it really gives you that fun, nostalgic vibe. The unlimited wristband was okay, but just a heads-up: “unlimited” doesn’t mean access to everything. There are add-ons you’ll need to purchase separately, so keep that in mind when planning your budget. As for toddlers, there isn’t a ton for them to do. It’s much better suited for older kids, so if you’re bringing little ones, they may not get the full experience. Now for the part that really soured the day: the lack of organization when it comes to camps or school groups. I completely understand large groups coming to enjoy the venue—but when they show up without a clear adult present for food or rides, it creates chaos. I witnessed multiple groups of 10–12 kids in matching shirts repeatedly cutting in line for rides and food. One ride that had zero line still took us over 30 minutes to get on because groups kept jumping ahead until I finally had to speak up. At Sonny’s, I was already in a long line when a group of kids from a camp joined their friends and began ordering individually, which caused the line to double in size. It was frustrating enough that I just stepped out of line altogether. I’m not trying to be harsh—I think iPlay has a lot of potential and is fun for families. But a simple fix would make a world of difference: require adult supervision when large groups are navigating food lines or ride queues, and maybe offer designated time slots or chaperone rules for smoother experiences. We’ll likely return, but only on a day when we know there aren’t camps flooding the place.

We recently celebrated my daughter’s birthday here, and it was absolutely amazing! Everything from the setup to the service exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The kids had a blast, and the decorations were beautiful. It was a truly memorable day for our family — thank you for helping make it so special! Highly recommended for anyone planning a kids’ party or celebration!

Another amazing birthday experience for my son and his friends! No matter how young or old, we have an amazing time. Special thank you to our Hosts Mollie and George for making this year’s celebration one to remember!

We had a few birthday parties here by now. It's an absolutely amazing place! Everything is indoor and hence rain or shine, perfect place for kids and I would say even adults. Highly recommend it!! Tons of games and rides. Always had a fun and great time here

It’s an amazing place to have A Birthday party for kids for all ages! Tons of rides, arcade games, and attractions under one roof. Clean, well-run, and the staff is super friendly. Perfect for family fun or a day out with friends—highly recommend!

I went for my son. We had a last min decision to stop by. The staff were super helpful and accommodating. The bathrooms were disgusting. Toilet paper all over the floor. Counter tops had a number of things on them, including hair. I would definitely try to keep up the bathroom cleanliness. I could not find a coffee station anywhere. We arrived at 5 pm, and I was told they dont sell coffee. What are u serious? We'll the adults are screwed. Not everyone drinks. Overall we had fun. Just wish they had good quality coffee. Or even coffee in general

Had a great time at iPlay America. This is one of the best indoor amusement parks in NJ with so many different attractions for a date night, friends outing, family fun day or even a solo adventure. The spot is really impressive with 250 arcade games, 2 full bars, 2 levels laser-tag, 25 rides, go-karts, bumper cars, Topgolf Swing Suite and other attractions to keep the kids (ourselves) busy all day long. I really enjoyed the go-kart and the cars were fast. TopGolf was great too with virtual games options, a spacious lounge and with their own bar. There’s also a restaurant in the property, The Bistro. I didn’t order food there but I had drinks (Blood Orange spicy margarita & Coconut Martini) and they were well-balanced. The bartenders know their stuff. They also have Jersey Shore-style snacks, fried Oreos, funnel cakes, a large old-fashioned candy store and private rooms to celebrate birthday parties. It’s super convenient. Can’t wait to go back for more fun days!

The park features a playground, archery range, as well as a picturesque lake suitable for boating and fishing. Its pristine trails offer breathtaking natural beauty to its visitors. Managed by friendly rangers, the park ensures clean and comfortable bathroom facilities equipped with air conditioning.
Beautiful and clean park. You could see the fish in the swamp. The trails are nicely marked. You can go mountain biking, fishing, boating, hiking, picnicking, camping, and more. They have a nice camping section. We also visited the archery area with longest distance 40 and shortest 15. The bathroom was clean

A great place for everyone with a recreation area for camping, picnic. You can go fishing, boating, hiking, lake, playground, toilets and showers are clean, laundry, we recommend it to everyone, we are delighted and will come back there.

There are fish in the water. I have not seen any fish that would set a record, but a decent bite. You can rent peddle boats, canoes or row boats, staff very polite, knowledgeable and helpful. The negative is the lake is maybe 3 feet at its deepest part. Getting to the hot spots are difficult when you are trying to row i 18 inches of water. Overall one of my favorite spots.

Kept in super great condition! 25 minutes from Belmar beach, so a perfect place to stay for a weekend beach trip

Positives: Basic state park—no paving—large shaded sites and fairly flat, fire ring, picnic table, water & electric, laundry (wash station) trash cans at each site Park along the lake BEAUTIFUL with wooden boardwalk, boat rentals? fishing, GREAT playgrounds & ample trails Negatives: Bathhouse showers need remodeling—fairly clean Dump Station needs pumped out or something—sewer smell when we were outside when the wind was blowing in our direction. Also thought camping price a little much for the campground. We would stay there again.
Carolyn L — Google review
Absolutely love this place !!! Been going here 4 years straight for vacations. Lake and trails are amazing. Great people who run the place (Rangers). Great price for Camping that comes water hook up and with electric 30amp and 20amp service. Bathrooms are greatly cooled by A/c and always clean. 35 minutes from the beach that you get completely free parking and beach access included from camping in the county!! A $10 parking and $8 a person value for free !! You can’t beat it . Just spent a week at the site C-5 and had a blast . 1.5 hrs from cape May free zoo (As long you take garden state highway that is) and 1.5 hrs from ocean city/Beach

The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County is a local historical society and museum that showcases the rich Jewish heritage in the area. It provides an interesting exploration of local history, with exhibits that delve into the ancestry and cultural contributions of the Jewish community. Don't let its focus on Judaism deter you from visiting; it's a fascinating glimpse into the county's past. The museum offers a great introduction to Judaism, specifically in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
I felt inclined to write this due to the wonderful experience I had at the Jewish Heritage Museum. The tour guide was insightful and clearly cared about the information and history he was presenting. If I had to come back to any museum it would have to be the Jewish Heritage Museum!

My wife and I spent 90 minutes going over the exhibits. It's interesting if you're into local history. The fact that is a Jewish museum should not stop anyone from visiting and enjoy the county's history. It's about our ancestors who happen to be Jewish.

Farm
Happy Day Farm, located in Monmouth County, offers a wide range of activities beyond pumpkin picking. Visitors can enjoy attractions such as a maize maze, hayrides, a petting zoo, and seasonal features like sunflower fields and apple picking. The farm also provides play areas for children with tractor rides and a tire mountain. While it's an ideal spot for families and friends, especially those with young kids, some visitors have noted that parking can be limited during peak times.
If you’re hunting for the ultimate family outing, Happy Day Farm during Fall Festival Days is as good as it gets. The energy here is contagious from the second you pull into the parking lot. There’s just so much to do that the only real challenge is figuring out what to try first. Weekends turn the place into a playground, with everything from a petting zoo packed with adorable animals to a giant corn box where kids can dig and play for ages. The pedal carts are a hit with everyone, and the corn maze is big enough to actually get lost in for a bit don’t be surprised if you hear a few shrieks of laughter coming from inside. There’s a corn tunnel for crawling and exploring, a slide that’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face, and the hi-striker if you’re up for showing off your strength (or just giving it your best shot). Kids go wild for the horse lasso and horse swings, but honestly, the adults end up getting in on the fun too. The whole family can join in on a friendly tug-o-war, and there’s always a group zipping around on the pedal carts, racing for bragging rights. The pig races are hilarious and not to be missed, and the pirate ship is just one of those random surprises that ends up being a highlight. Tetherball brings out the competitive side, and climbing up the massive tire mountain is the kind of challenge kids talk about for weeks. What really sets Happy Day Farm apart, though, is the staff they’re genuinely warm, always ready to help, and you can tell they care about making your visit amazing. Every corner you turn, there’s something else to discover, and by the end of the day, you’ll wonder how time passed so quickly. Fall at Happy Day Farm is pure magic. It’s the kind of place that makes you wish every weekend could be this much fun.
P G — Google review
Happy Day Farm is such a fun place to visit! The atmosphere is lively, clean, and perfect for families or friends. They have so many seasonal activities — from sunflower fields to pumpkin patches — and everything is well organized. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food stands have great treats. It’s the kind of spot where you can relax, take amazing photos, and just enjoy the day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a wholesome outdoor experience! 🌻🎃🌽

Heaven for any photo enthusiasts. Tons of photo ops, vast fields with incredible flowers that are guaranteed to make you take over a thousand photos (I know I did!). You can easily spend an entire day here, fun for the whole family! The flowers are gorgeous and very reasonably priced. The gentleman who greets you when you walk in (before purchasing your ticket) is delightful. Very entertaining and great to talk to. We were short on time, but hopefully I'll come back soon to take a look at their animals as well.
Jessica Z — Google review
There is so much to do here by way of fall activities. It’s a child’s dream! We went early in the season as we heard it gets crowded closer to Halloween. It was hot and would have been more enjoyable to play the games in cooler weather as there is mostly direct sun where the games/ attractions are. The zinnia flowers and sunflowers are beautiful. Picking flowers was one of the most peaceful parts of our day ! It was such a simple and enjoyable activity- glad to see this still exists! Incredible photo opportunities especially where the pumpkin houses are. We loved the wooden swings throughout. The pumpkin houses and layouts are extraordinary! Extensive pumpkin and gourd selection. I’ve never seen a farm with so many activities. They’ve thought of everything here. This is a great place for families and worth the full entry fee. Pig races are cute and the person who ran it made funny pig themed jokes when we went - opening day 9/13. Loved the bubble stands , basketball, slide, and wooden play sets. Much of the duck race equipment was not working. Pedal bikes needed another attendant. Great tractor ride. Excellent parking organization. I imagine it’s hard to staff this place and some of the guests are not respectful to the land which is frustrating. However for only being day 1, staff could have bee n a bit less frustrated with things. The creativity here is wonderful and there is so much to see! The name is a perfect fit as it was a very happy day spent here.

My friends and I came here for the golden hour event the other night and we loved it! Easy free parking, friendly staff, reasonably priced tickets and food. We did the berry picking which was $17 for a big container and got to mix and match blueberries, raspberries and blackberries as many as we could grab. The berries were the best I've ever had. Plenty of photo opportunities throughout the whole farm. They have alpacas, goats and chickens you can feed as well for $1 a bag. The store has a bunch of organic things for purchase and even lotions with beef tallow. They also sell eggs and honey! They didn't seem strict at all with camera photography there as well. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset in the sunflower field! Overall amazing experience, would highly recommend. Hopefully they do more golden hour events in the future.
Janessa — Google review
So much activities such a nice farm especially for kids & has a lot of photo opportunities. Spent the day with my family we had a great time. Just kinda annoying how they’re watching you if you eat some fruit lol it’s like the fruit falls and gets squash anyways plus we’re paying for the picking so why can’t I munch on some berries … idk I don’t think they should bug paying customers first farm from the bunch I’ve been too , to do that but overall it is a beautiful farm with lots of activities !
Chelsea M — Google review
A beautiful place for photos! Family friendly place, where you can feed and hang out near goats and chickens. You have to pay to enter each spot but if you pay at the entrance $25 you can go in all the spots including the lavender field, sunflower fields, and blueberry picking. You can choose the bucket sizes available to pick your berries at the entrance. Staff there is super friendly and sweet!
Victoria V — Google review
Happy Day Farm is always a fun and charming spot to visit. There are tons of adorable photo props throughout the farm. Everything is thoughtfully decorated and makes for the cutest photo ops. Whether you’re here for the seasonal activities or just to explore, it’s always a joyful experience!

Freehold Raceway is a historic half-mile track that has been hosting horse racing since the 1830s, making it the oldest racecourse in the country. It's a popular spot for a day out at the races, with opportunities to watch televised horse racing and engage in sports betting. The venue offers various dining options, including the Renaissance Room, where visitors can enjoy good food while watching the races. Families appreciate that kids can easily meet horses and jockeys.
Will surely miss the Freehold Raceway when it closes on December 28, 2024 for good. Hoping to visit again on Friday and again on the last day to make some more memories. 😘💕💋🐴🐎
Irene M — Google review
I love to go to Freehold Raceway to watch the Harness racing. That is a good time to support the horsemen and horses. They bring a great show. It's a good time for families to see. I just wish that the racetrack could do more to promote family friendly activities. Instead, the track prefers to promote gambling and they miss the mark in that respect. But...if you have never been there to see the horses....you surely are missing a great show.
Mary P — Google review
Dated, empty, and sad old place, doesn't seem like any money has been put into it since the 80's with its tile covered architecture and the worn, grubby seats in the grandstand. Hardly anyone there on a mild Saturday in May. The betting machines are hard to understand and I couldn't find a window with a human or any instructions. The place seems to cater mostly to hard-core old guy bettors. Little attention to building an audience or getting new people interested in racing. The racing itself is beautiful though, and you can still grab a beer and one of the sad snacks they have available and have a good time on the cheap placing a few bets for as low as a dollar or two a race. There's off track betting for other races but I didn't check that out. It's not what it was back in the day when people dressed up and there were crowds, a clubhouse, etc. I will go back though, because it's still fun and cheap.
Anne P — Google review
We had a wonderful day at the races! Admittance is free as well as the parking which is conveniently located right across the street from the track. The facility was very clean and the food was excellent. I was very sad to hear the track will be closing by the end of the year. I look forward to going many more times more before they close.

Between my family or friends we all had a horse racing here. I grew up in stables my aunt Tish cared for horses. Her late husband my uncle Joe was a jockey, few ex's raced as well. My first job was helping my aunt with the horses. This place will be missed and was magical. I still remember the first time my daughters stepped on that track. It was an open space day they had a parade with a cowgirl who was miss nj( she very soon after passed) my girls felt like rodeo princesses. Too bad my grands will never experience it. I'm grateful for the bonds and memories made. I even laugh now for what annoyed me as a kid Butchie busting my balls kidding on me. I couldn't ask for better childhood. What's not to like horses, ice cream, horses, stable friends, horses.
Er D — Google review
Definitely an older place but it’s not hard to find enjoyment. The negative reviews here are too picky. It’s free entertainment. I haven’t tried gambling here yet so cannot comment on that but the horses are fun to watch if you need something to do.
Jon A — Google review
I wish they would fix this place up and have family and poker events. Sports betting, all the horse racing televised. Gets busy on nice days and days big horse races are scheduled.

The track looks nice, the Parx Sportsbook is as well. The grandstand could use some major improvements.

Monmouth Battlefield State Park is a historic site that features a restored Revolutionary War battlefield, scenic trails, and a visitor center. Located just 2.5 miles from downtown Freehold off Rt. 33, this park was the setting for the largest field artillery duel of the American Revolutionary War. The British army suffered a major setback here, making it an important landmark in American history. Visitors can explore the battlefield and enjoy leisurely strolls through the picturesque surroundings.
So much history here amid a beautiful state park. The grounds are expansive and there are many trails to walk. Some trails are woodland trails, easily navigated and well marked. Others are through the open fields where once history was made in 1778. The woodland trails start near the museum. There is one large loop trail with two opportunities to cut across. These are typical eastern wooded areas, with many species of native trees and bushes. These trails are a perfect short walk with family or alone, a nice respite from the hustle and bustle. There are also trails that take you through the orchards and fields where the Battle of Monmouth took place June 28, 1778. Lots of wide open views and interpretive signs that help you envision where the battle lines were drawn and the cannons lined up. Make sure to check out the museum. The battle of Monmouth was pivotal in the revolutionary war, the first Washington and the Continental troops fought after the hard winter at Valley Forge (note: Valley Forge National Park is about 90 minutes away in PA, well worth the visit. Go there first - it will help put Monmouth in context). The museum is very well done and shows the details of how the troops were placed in the fields around you. There are many dioramas and maps. Make sure to see the movie - the ending is particularly powerful. Each year on the anniversary of the battle there are re-enactors at the park all day. This is a wonderful experience and brings history alive. The park has picnic tables in shady settings around, and a covered pavilion for large gatherings. There is a very nice playground for the kids by the pavilion, and many tables have charcoal grills. There is a seasonal restroom by the pavilion and the building opposite the museum has restrooms open year round. Make sure to check the hours of the museum especially during the off season. There are guided walking tours of the battlefields. We’ve done these and they are excellent programs to learn the history of the place while standing in the middle of it. Stop by, enjoy the trails, bring the family or find solace in the quiet woods. This is a great park.
Joe H — Google review
Wonderful. Excellent explanation of the context of the battle, the prior movements of the British and Continental forces, nearby skirmishes before main battle, battle positions on a bi-hourly basis, the ending and retreats. There's a bookstore, but you need to check the hours. There are other times for reenactments and tours. There are picnic areas and trails. Well done!!
Stephen H — Google review
They have an excellent Revolutionary War reenactment every year in June to show how the battle was won. There are tents set up during the reenactment where you can purchase colonial period wares, clothing, books, food, etc. There is also a central building with a museum dedicated to the Revolutionary War and New Jersey's part that it played during the war. It is a great day out in a lovely park!
Kay W — Google review
Wonderful walking trails through the battlefield and orchard. But please note that taking the produce is against the park rules. There is a separate entrance for that area where you can purchase those items. In the building you can enjoy a walk through the displays and see a historical documentary about the battle. My adult son and I had a very enjoyable day. My only reason for subtracting a star is due to the lack of benches along the walking trails. We would have enjoyed the paths longer and farther if there had been places to stop and rest. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and need rests along walking paths. Fantastic and bucolic site that vividly brings to mind this very important revolutionary war battle. Also the new visitor center by architect ikon.5 architects is very impressive and fits perfectly into the landscape. The museum in the visitor center is very informative and has a whole section on blacks during the Revolutionary War (on both sides). Today I came by bike and was able to enter the park through the back where the battle at the Parsonage took place. This approach gave me a whole new perspective on the park.

It was once commandeered by British General Henry Clinton, causing hardship for its owner, Elizabeth Covenhoven. The association features a museum, research library, and archives with over 35,000 historical items from the last three centuries. Visitors can explore the history and culture of Monmouth County through various exhibits and activities suitable for all ages.
Loved the Springsteen exhibit! On a personal note I ran into a bit of a low sugar situation and was looking for a soda machine. A young man brought me a piece of cake to bring up my sugar...i was so grateful! Seriously how nice was he to do that? So impressed. Not too many ppl like that anymore! Thank you!!

I attended the Springsteen: His Hometown exhibit and I was rather disappointed! There wasn’t a lot of real memorabilia and I felt it was more like a Freehold exhibit! There was more about his family than him. I understand it was “his hometown” but it seemed like they needed to add his name to it so people would come in to hear and see about Freehold! Not worth the money for it, thank goodness I’m part of NARM and it was on the list!
Rebecca C — Google review
The current exhibit on Bruce Springsteen highlighted his connection to his hometown of Freehold. His story was told with pictures of his childhood, guitars, memoribila from tours and quotes from his songs. A short but excellent movie from the archives showed how he was influenced by growing up here and was the inspiration for many of his lyrics. Well done but I wanted more. $15 admission, $12 senior.

I went during a break from jury duty (the courthouse is across the street), and was welcomed by a friendly volunteer. The painting in the lobby is wonderful and original (Leutz, I think?) and the exhibits are always top-notch. I was lucky enough to be meet their archivist who answered some family history questions for me, and gave me suggestions for further reading. I can't wait to go back to the next exhibit!

Michael J. Tighe Park is a vibrant community green space offering a variety of recreational activities for visitors of all ages. The park features 11 baseball fields, 2 Lacrosse fields, a seasonal splash pad, and a skate park. Additionally, there are playgrounds for kids to explore and play in different areas. The well-maintained facilities include basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, and exercise equipment for adults.
I am so grateful to have this gorgeous park in my community… We practically live here. The township updates something every year. New bathrooms, playgrounds, ninja warrior area, nature path, pickleball courts, splash pad, summer camp, bike riding, all in a safe friendly community. Right now they are adding a new stage which will be used during Freehold Township day. They added new pavilions for campers as well. Little league program has been wonderful. Thank you so much FT! This place is worth being part of.

My toddler and I went today and we had a lot of fun. There are 6 different playgrounds. There is 1 when you first come in, 2 on the other side of the building (you can walk through the middle) and 3 towards the back of the park (past the bridge). The 3 in the back were much more things to climb. The 2 behind the building were built more for toddlers. They had woodchip ground except for 1 playground behind the building. There was also beach volleyball courts, baseball fields, and basketball courts too.

Great Park with plenty to do if there was not a 1000 kids! there was about a hundred kids from a camp and they left a mess everywhere! Update: do not bring your family here cause there is about 200 summer school kids here and there is no room foru children to play, mess everywhere! 7-20-23 at 10:33 AM . Last time we waited a few hours for them to leave to actually play!

🇺🇸 What a fantastic evening! ☀️ It was such a pleasure doing the Walk for Health with Mayor Fasano and my fellow Freehold residents. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ Mayor Fasano is truly amazing – so easy to talk to and clearly dedicated to our community's well-being. The Freehold Township Mayor's Wellness Campaign is a great initiative for community wellness. And of course, our golden retriever Dakota was the hit of the walk, kissing everyone she met! 🐾🐶 The Mayor has even agreed to meet us at Krust Cafe in Freehold to discuss resident concerns – how amazing is that?! 🤩 It's inspiring to see such a strong sense of community and wellness in Freehold. I just discovered this park because of an instagram post by someone. It is amazing. Numerous playgrounds for children, lots of baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts, volleyball courts as well AND a sprinkler park which is only open on Saturday’s. Another bonus is they have a small adult workout area. I love going there and will bring my Granddaughter next time she visits

This is a great Park I almost don't want to write this review for the park to get overcrowded LOL the basketball courts are great always games going on which is rare these days. If you have young children and toddlers there are great swings in playgrounds also places for you to walk your dogs the bathrooms are usually closed but it's okay plenty of barking. It's my favorite Park to go and shoot some hoops or take my 3 year old out to go on swings and slides

Nightmare at Gravity Hill in Jackson, NJ offers a variety of horror attractions, including a haunted house, zombie shoot-out, and spooky hayride. The site is well-maintained and the staff is friendly. Visitors can expect to be immersed in a world of chills and thrills as they explore the large grounds. While some visitors enjoyed the experience with family and friends, others found that long wait times impacted their enjoyment.
I absolutely love this place! Good jump scares, lots of creepy experiences. I screamed and laughed so much! This is one of my favorite Halloween traditions, and I'm glad to see Nightmare at Gravity Hill keeps trying to improve year after year. I appreciate that effort is put into spacing guests so we're not on top of each other. After 4 months of chemotherapy, this was much needed fun!

It was short due to just walking right through 😂. But i had a good time didnt scare me as much as my sister and my bsf. Actors and everyone were amazing very nice if you try to talk to them. They ask if your okay and everything. Loved it
Sophia T — Google review
Decent attraction, not terrifying but there were a couple of good jumpscares. The actors were, for the most part, pretty compelling. The costumes and sets were awesome but it would have been nice to see a few more actors on the trail. The trail took about 25 minutes to complete, which felt somewhat short for the $35 price point.

$100 for both of us including fast pass. Expensive but I think it’s worth it. The amount of effort they put into this shows. It’s pretty amazing. We don’t get scared very easy but this definitely got us on our toes. Probably the scariest walk through I’ve seen. We came about 5 years ago and they improved by a lot. Can’t wait to come again next year!
Darian L — Google review
for the maze/walkthrough itself we were all impressed and had a lot of fun! several jump scares and very interesting set designs. marketed as a 40 minute walkthrough but only took us 25 minutes to complete. as per other reviews this seems to be the average walkthrough time. most important note would be complete distaste in use of disturbing audio while you are waiting in the queue. there is a huge difference between scary and disturbing and i would definitely describe the queue as the latter. made myself and the other members of my party feel quite sick and uncomfortable. did not enhance the experience, but rather deterred us from going again. for the queue audio alone i would not recommend anyone under the age of 18 to go. shame as the actual walkthrough could easily be fun for those ages 14 and up.

The Monmouth County Fair is a popular event that takes place during the summer, offering a variety of entertainment, food choices, and activities for the whole family. The fair is well-organized with ample parking and police presence to ensure safety. Visitors can enjoy rides, games, and shows while exploring numerous vendors selling food and goods. Additionally, the Made in Monmouth arts and vendor fair celebrates local artisans in the county during spring and winter.
First time here and had a good time. Nice weather and grounds were dry from rain the day before. Easy to get in. Lots of staff helping with parking and directions. Plenty of food and drink vendors. Lots of activities and entertainment. Tents were a great idea to visit different tables and stay out of the sun. The food and drinks I had were delicious kabobs. Definitely will be back next year.

July 2024 It's been 2 years since I was there. It was dramatically smaller. It was catered to parents with children. There is no place to hide from the sun . Seating by Ring 1 was waiting for an accident. It was the one area that had shade and seats in a bleacher. They were in need to be replaced, splinters, and slanted seats, and the only way to walk up to a top seat that were slanted was to stand and forget about sitting. It's not a good place for seniors ! Extremely limited seats as you walk around. Clean up your act Monmouth County !

The fair was great this year. They added more rides and a good variety. I noticed the food vendors have increased with more variety (which is a plus) They offered Thai, Spanish, Empanadas, Burgers, etc. Food was delicious. I would like them to add more vendors. It's always a good option to shop around. They offered shows throughout the day. I found the exhibits were wonderful and informative and the staff was friendly. I enjoyed all of the exhibits. Parking was easy. Everything was organized from parking to entry. It was truly a great day at the fair.

The kids had a blast! It got really crowded after 7pm, with waiting lines of over 30 minutes at some of the rides. Got the $30 wristbands for the kids, which is well worth it if you go a little earlier. Many vendors, fun shows and overall a fun time for the whole family. Can't wait to go again next year!
Curly I — Google review
Went during half price hour, got the wristband for the rides which were great. Lots of vendors and rides. I will say the games were a rip-off off for these terribly stitched together stuffies. The food was great, definitely a rip-off on most of them. The fireworks were amazing, wish my town could hire whoever did those for Independence day.

Always a mistake attend community event if you live in Monmouth County. So much to do, see, explore and eat. You also never know what neighbor you may run into. At night however, it can be overran with teenagers for sure. But a credit to staff and local police, it stays in order. Pricing is fair. Food can get pricey and most vendors are also willing and able to work with you. Enjoy.

Awesome campground we come almost every September. The kids love it here because of the big field and activities. The lake has plenty of fish but the kids hate walking to it(1 mile from main camping area). Gun and Archery range that is plenty of fun and hiking trails throughout. Bathroom and shower facilities are decent. Not a bad way to spend a weekend.

Exceptionally well maintained Camp. Cabins recently upgraded exceeding our expectations of a youth camp. Recent upgrades of adding pavilions to most every campsite makes this camp a perfect place to go regardless of the weather. In the heart of Monmouth County camping there gives you the feeling you’re in the woods. The Ranger and staff on the property are accommodating, friendly, and accessible. Our group is from Pennsylvania. On arrival we realized we had forgotten piece of equipment. Rather than being a disaster for our weekend, the camp staff was able to provide us loaner equipment save our event. The activity fields and program areas are impeccably maintained. Most important to us the cabins and bathroom facilities accommodate both boys and girls more than adequately.

What a fantastic campground! Friendly staff, and the amenities are always being updated. The nature is pristine and beautiful. We heard so many owls and foxes at night. Definitely recommended!
Brian E — Google review
Camp ground restrooms are co-ed, there is no door separating male and female. I remember when I was using the bathroom 2 boys walked in and wouldn’t leave. When I told my concerns to staff they did not take appropriate action to solve the situation. I also saw some inappropriate behavior from camp staff to the children. It is an okay summer camp for children, and a beautiful reserve, yet I wouldn’t recommend working here.

A great Park for walking or running with fishing possibilities too! Also a trailed open arboretum type area. Good place to see small game and deer, very good bird watching possibilities ad well! We walk here often and have found it to be never crowded, often we're there alone. One of the area's less known nature preserves. There are a few benches, picnic tables, but no comfort station so be prepared for that. I've known of this Park since the mid '70s and it's been well kept, very clean and with the present management is a great choice for some outdoor time! Dog park
Thompson Grove Park, located in Freehold Township, offers a variety of recreational activities for visitors. The park features a spacious area for fishing, kayaking, and boating near the adjacent lakes. Additionally, it boasts well-maintained trails suitable for leisurely walks and disc golf. The highlight of the park is the Manalapan Dog Park within its premises, providing separate fenced areas for both large and small dogs to play freely.
I see that some people are getting confused about the size of this park. Let me clear this up a bit. "Thompson park" marker on Google maps is actually "Manalapan Dog park," which is two fenced squares. One for large dogs, another for small dogs. Manalapan Dog park is located at the entrance and is part of "Thompson Grove park," which is a much larger area. If you drive a little deeper into Thompson Grove park, there is another parking lot... sort of. From there, you will see a river on one side and on another a vast open field where dogs can run and play. The field is surrounded by small trees and bushes with multiple short trails weaving around this area. Note: Technically, your dog must be on the leash at all times, but many people let their four-legged friends roam free there. This is a large area with no fences, you may encounter deer and other people with their dogs, so use your judgment before taking a leash off. Last but not least, Thompson Grove park (not Manalapan Dog park) has two wooden gates that are closed at sunset. So, if you see a starry sky and you are still there, you know - you are walking home.
M K — Google review
We took our dog to the dog park section. It was clean, well maintained. I like that it has separate sections for small and big dogs. We had a bad experience in the past at a park that didn't have separate areas. My dog enjoyed running around and playing with the other dogs.

I love this park! Very clean and well maintained, with everything easily accessible. Our puppy loves the dog park, with 2 separate areas for large and small dogs. What sets Crepes Celestes apart is their commitment to using organic buckwheat flour for their crepes, making them an excellent choice for gluten-free enthusiasts.
Crepe celestes is nothing short of amazing. They have it all from savory crepes to sweet crepe. They even have really good macaroons. The service is just as good. Anthony seems to really enjoy making them! I must say if you never had a crepe before this place is a must!

One of the lighter and healthier options in the mall. This small NJ/NY chain serves savory/sweet crepes as well as macaroons, madeleines and ice cream. The crepes are advertised as being made of organic buckwheat flour, so it's a good option for those who want gluten-free. All the ingredients are cooked right in front of you on the circular hot plate, which is a nice change. The savory crepes range from $6.50 - $9 and the sweet from $4 - $8. I had the Bonjour crepe which is one of the more basic savory options with ham, cheddar and an over-easy egg. Despite how simple it was, it was really satisfying and had a comfort-food feel to it. I was surprised by how light/fluffy the egg was too. The crepe was nicely made; held all the ingredients together and was still light. It also comes with a small side salad of romaine lettuce/carrot matchsticks drizzled with a french dressing. I found the staff there very friendly and helpful as it was my first time. Despite it being a part of the busy food-court, I felt valued as a customer and would definitely come back.

However, there isn't much staff supervision on the trampolines, so it's best for kids who can follow rules independently.
First time at get air and everyone has a great time a lot of different sections to choose from to play in .plenty of seating to watch from while the kids play. My only negative comment was that it was very cold inside . Bundle up!

Get Air in Freehold was pretty fun when I went today, it had brand new bounce houses, but there was absolutely no people to watch the children inside the whole building! It was absolute chaos inside the dodgeball area! People were kicking the dodgeballs over to the kids area, which made the kids run away! I absolutely do not recommend this place.

It's a pretty cool place but it seemed to be pretty dirty. It could definitely use a good cleaning that's for sure. I've been there twice so far and I've had a good time with the kids. I'm not a germaphobe so it really didn't bother me to to much but I did notice it for sure. Also they could name the place get botox and it would be appropriate. Both times I've been there it's been packed with some extremely fake moms.

Great time today not crowded around 3:30. They never stopped my kids jumping, we paid for 60 mins, and I stopped them after 90! They also allowed one of our kids in with sky zone socks, they said as long as they are grip socks , they are fine. I took away a star because the bathroom was flooded and reeked of urine. I had to hold my 3 year old in the air, wouldn't dare let her in there in socks.

This place is the worst trampoline park ever and it’s not debatable at all. The first reason my 12 year old son was swinging on the swing I was watching him and he did nothing and the only worker there started yelling at my son. Also my son said “what the hell” and she yelled at him again saying how he can’t do anything basically because there’s nothing when I mean nothing there’s nothing to do at all. And I been to many trampoline parks all around the world. Never go here with your family and friends. I will not be coming back!

Visited yesterday. I just wanna say when they opened, and possibly 3 or 4 months ago, it was great. Yesterday, I don't know what happened to the staff/maintenance crew or what, but I was disgusted. I'm not returning until things get fixed. There were only a few sponge boxes in the drop boxes. It looked like a tornado went thru the inside of this place. Some parts of the ceiling were exposed, and insulation hanging down. I have photos to prove it. I made sure my son took all his clothes off in the garage because I was scared of bedbugs or other insects

Didn’t allow parents to sit on the side. Prices went up. Forced us to buy their brand socks, when we came with identical socks from another trampoline park. Used to be friendly and affordable. Became expensive and cold

My nephew enjoyed himself, which is my main concern. Staff was friendly but not attentive. No one was on the floor watching the activities of the kids. Their was a time when the employee had his ear pods in and was vacuuming around the kids as they were jumping and again when they were playing dodge ball. I understand you want to start your closing duties, but doing that is a safety concern. Some of the foam needs to be replaced it either looked dirty or overused. Some of the netting is ripped and should be repaired. Especially in the dodge ball area. Need food options.
