Skaros Rock is a centuries-old castle ruin perched on a rugged outcrop, offering breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. This long-lost citadel in Santorini is a romantic and secluded spot to witness the mesmerizing sunset, steeped in the island's rich history and imposing atmosphere. Accessible via a steep track, it provides an ideal vantage point for admiring the glorious sunset.
Great little hike not for those who need assistance. It is a hiking trail that is at the bottom of a very steep set of concrete steps. I would estimate about 100 steps to get to the bottom so you can then transfer to a gravel trail. I loved the hike and the exercise it was excellent and absolutely what I anticipated.. I will just say that it is NOT for the folks who would need assistance.
Brian L — Google review
Lovely place to go for a short hike of roughly 60 minutes. The views from the rock are breathtaking and best to hike it in the morning (especially during hot summer months) when you get plenty of shaded area on the other side of the rock with lots of breeze thay feels quite refreshing. There is a lovely church on the back side and lots of amazing view points.
P S — Google review
I climbed Skaros Rock last year and again this year, right to the base of the summit. Below is the pretty Panagia Theoskepas Chapel. I wanted to reach the top of the rock, but I haven't found the access path yet. However, I regularly see people at the very top. Tourists without climbing gear! How do they manage? I would like to succeed. Despite everything, a beautiful landscape unfolds before us. Simply magnificent...
M-Francoise C — Google review
This is one of the best hiking trails in Santorini. It’s not very long but includes some ups and downs — part of the trail goes through village stairs and part over rugged terrain. The views are stunning, and on the rock itself, you can see the remains of an ancient fortress. A truly recommended hike!
Hila — Google review
A great hike that is definitely not for those in need to assistance. We walked from Santorini Princess so it was all in all good cardio. From actually starting the Skaros Rock trail to the second church in the other side of the point and back it took about 1 hour and another 1/2 hour for taking pictures, but my partner and I were setting a fast pace. BRING/WEAR TENNIS SHOES IF YOU WANT TO MAKE IT ARUBD THE ROCK TO THE SECOND CHURCH COMFORTABLY. Lots of stairs and lots of places to go off trail, and even up the rock if you are adventurous. Very beautiful hike!
Gaby O — Google review
Very nice hike to do early in the morning, before the Sun gets too far overhead, we didn't quite make sunrise, but we were only about an hour behind walk through the city down a secret stairway and descend down to skaros rock... I will highly recommend wearing some good. Hiking shoes or very good. Equipped running shoes with extra grip as the terrain is loose gravel and some pretty Steep inclines also some steep declines, so be prepared, have water and take breaks, but if you walk out all the way to the Inn, there is a little blue domed church that you cannot see from the city itself highly recommend taking this walk. Very quiet, very peaceful, exceptionally, beautiful. The only place we took a hike where you feel like you're out in the ocean closest point to the Volcano. Simply magic go now.
LAND R — Google review
Totally worth the hike down. Apparently used to be an epic Medieval castle that’s now ruins. A little sketchy in spots - be careful by the edges of course - but otherwise not that difficult to walk around. Great view inside the caldera and of the volcano. Bring some water for the hike back up 😅
Lee P — Google review
A unique place in Santorini where one can watch the sunset avoiding the many tourists that infest the island. The area is recommended for photographers and for relaxation. It is advisable to visit it in the evening in summer months to avoid the extreme heat.

Bus station
Firostefani Bus Station is located along a picturesque walking route that offers stunning views of the inland plains and the Aegean Sea. The station serves as a convenient starting point for exploring Firostefani and Imerovigli, as well as other nearby towns like Fira and Oia. It's advisable to begin your journey early in the summer to avoid the midday heat, and be sure to carry water with you.
Very small station for the size of the island, buses sometimes are not label with the routes or numbers …you cannot buy tickets in advance is cash only. The lady at counter is not very helpful buses from other towns in the island are not always on time. Be aware the buses look more like tourist coaches with air conditioning. They do speak English.
Ljubica B — Google review
Do yourself a favor and just walk to Fira. Buses didn’t show up. Use the paved main road, it is downhill to Fira and gravity will do the work so it is easy and fast even if you carry heavy luggage.

This is the station from Oia to Fira, NOT from Fira to Oia!
François-Xavier T — Google review
Update summer 2024. Bus doesnt stop here to go to Oia(the main road is closed for cars). You need to go to the main bus station in Fira or take a taxi for 30€
Kamila K — Google review
Not working June 2025, you need to go to Fira
Robert F — Google review
Do not entrust your holiday travel to this shambolic excuse for a bus station. As I write this now, we're have been sat for an hour and 10 minutes for a service that is supposed to be every 30 minutes. We are expected to wait a further 20, but we know it won't arrive by then either. There's little shelter and zero system or organisation. Yes it's cheap, but what you save in euros you will piss away in sweat and valuable holiday time.
Gina-Maria M — Google review
This bus is not used during the summer., so said two different nearby vendors. I did not see any buses on the this road the first week of may 2023. The bus supervisor at the fira station told me it was a 5minute walk to here. It was 45 minutes, 3km, up hill. With heavy luggage. The bus staff lie to me many times.
Dell O — Google review
Fantastic bus stop! I’d heard so many amazing things about this bus stop from my friends who had visited santorini in the past and I thought to myself “this cannot be missed!”. I booked accomodation close to the bus stop so I could visit it every day and boy was I impressed! The sunset from the bus stop is to die for, and the seats are comfortable enough to sit on for approximately 45-60 minutes. Didn’t actually catch a bus from here, but boy did it look like that was possible! I give 5 stars for the sheer beauty of the bus stop, and 1 star due to the fact that I didn’t catch a bus. Final rating : 3

Perched on a cliff overlooking the caldera, the Church of Agios Gerasimos is a stunning Greek Orthodox church with a distinctive blue dome and bell tower. It's one of Santorini's most photographed churches, known for its striking contrast against the white building and blue sky. Visitors gather here to capture breathtaking shots of the caldera view with the iconic blue dome and three bells in the background. Despite being crowded, visitors appreciate the willingness of others to help take pictures.
Beautiful Greek Orthodox church overlooking the Aegean sea located in Fira. Most photographed church on the island of Santorini.

Nestled in the heart of Fira, the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist stands as a testament to Santorini's rich history and architectural beauty. This Catholic cathedral, originally constructed in 1923 and later renovated after an earthquake in 1956, showcases exquisite 18th-century decor and intricate sandstone architecture. Its stunning painted ceilings are a feast for the eyes, making it a must-visit landmark while exploring this vibrant island.
Really beautiful church and cathedral. We came on Palm Sunday and there was a mass on at 10am. It was mix of locals and tourists there. Father was so welcoming and greeting everyone. Mass was mainly in Greek and some parts (bible reading and .. ) were read in English. Really happy to be part of the celebration today.
Shanu D — Google review
We visited during the off-season and were lucky to find the cathedral empty and peaceful. After walking from the center of Fira, it was the perfect spot to rest. The interior is calm and serene — a truly soothing space that felt spiritually refreshing. A lovely stop in town.
Alec T — Google review
There's nothing I enjoy better than visiting a church. This one was on a hill (like most of Greece) lol. It wasn't crowded at all. I went inside to light a candle and found it to be so peaceful. It was quiet and as the signs on the outside stated, "a stress free zone". I truly loved it here.
General D — Google review
Beautiful cathedral! 10am mass 3rd Sunday of Easter. Father greeted all before and asked couples how many years they had been married and at the end had one couple (47 yrs) and another (5 days) join him for a blessing at the pascal candle and then blessed all marriages.
Chantal S — Google review
We visited Fira on a Sunday afternoon. The cathedral is beautiful! The cathedral was open for visitors. Signs on the door ask that you be quiet and remove your hat. The inside was so peaceful. It is a quiet place for reflection and/or prayer. There are candles which you can light. Simply beautiful! There is no fee to visit.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars – Holy Cathedral of Fira (Santorini, Greece) The Holy Cathedral in Fira is absolutely beautiful and rich in history. The architecture is stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it a must-see while in Santorini. Whether you stop in for quiet reflection or simply to admire the art and views, it’s a truly special place that captures the island’s spirit.
Christopher G — Google review
Sunday Mass was at a consistent time of 10:00 AM as posted. The priest and community was very welcoming to tourists and had a translator assisting. There were multiple worship aids in various languages that followed along that particular Sunday. All were encouraged to respond in their own language. After Mass the priest gave blessings to married couples. The music was also beautiful.

Built in 1823. It was completely restored and rebuilt in 1970, after the earthquake of 1956. If you get in on a sunny day you can capture a nice picture of rainbow light coming through the stained glass windows.

Restaurant
Kaliya Reimagined Food & Drinks is a stunning restaurant with a prime sunset table and beautiful views. The bar offers a cool atmosphere, allowing guests to see into the kitchen while enjoying music from a DJ. The friendly and helpful staff enhance the dining experience. It's recommended to book early for an unobstructed view of the sunset.
Very nice dinner. Excellent hummus and spicy cheese dip to start. They were delicious. Orzo with eel and prawns were outstanding as were the pasta dishes enjoyed. An issue we had with one dish was dealt with professionally. We drank the pelopanesse white, as the Santorini offerings were a little too pricey for our budget, it was an excellent wine. Thank you for a nice evening. Oh and the breads are fantastic!
Keith P — Google review
An unforgettable meal at Kaliya. The food was absolutely outstanding. We especially loved the beef cheek pasta and the ceviche with coconut sorbet that came as part of the service was a refreshing surprise. The desserts were fantastic, beautifully presented and delicious. From start to finish, both the food and the service were truly exceptional. Every dish felt carefully crafted, and every moment felt special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the island!
Bill K — Google review
One of the best meals we have had anywhere, and our favorite of our Greece trip. We had the scallops with an onion/bacon sauce and corn puree and it is the most perfect bite of food! As a couple we split three appetizers and it was a perfect amount of food. Highly recommend!
Megan M — Google review
Absolutely incredible experience! The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant, and every dish was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — especially the manager, Mike, whose hospitality truly stood out. Lunch was so good we ended up coming back for dinner the very next night. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!
Rachel F — Google review
The Seafood Platter was pretty good, even and the meat was cooked to perfection, a nice fond in the bottom, though I thought I looked a little unimpressing at first glance for 39€. Nice bread and potato “sauce”. Giouvetsi was good and the taste was immaculate, I was really missing a bit more shrimp, but there was enough of the smoked eel. A nice cocktail, Silk Road Sunset, with a really good aftertaste of Campari. Now the bad part… when I came I asked for a table near the balcony, of which 50% were vacant, but I was told that I could only have a table further from the balcony, due to reservations. 10 minutes after I was seated, two ladies walk in and ask if they can have a seat at the balcony, and are told yes, even though they don’t have a reservation (I asked), and when I was about to finish another couple were allowed to sit by the balcony. And mind you, at this point there are still 3 empty tables at the balcony, and I had a really hard time seeing all of them as reserved judging by the activity level of the night. My advice, book in advance if you wan’t to have a chance of getting a balcony table.
Carl D — Google review
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant in Santorini! The waiters were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional — they made us feel welcome from the very beginning. The food was absolutely delicious, featuring fresh local dishes, perfectly prepared. But what truly made it unforgettable was the spectacular view— we caught the perfect sunset with a panoramic view over the caldera. Exactly the kind of magical moment you dream of when you think of Santorini. Highly recommend this place for a special evening!
Mihai D — Google review
Outstanding food. Large vegan menu. Service was outstanding. Portions very generous. Highly recommend the bread basket, dips and salads. Everything is fresh. Topped it off with an espresso. Kaliya reminds me of Kaalia. Those who know, know.
Aswani D — Google review
If there was a Greek god of coffee and baklava then he has made his home here in the Kaliya kitchens, or he is disguised himself as the manager Mikhaiel. After eating my main, Mikhaiel suggested with a twinkle in his eyes that I get a baklava and a Greek coffee with it. Let me tell you... It was the greatest suggestion I have ever received. The baklava alone was crispy and sweet with the perfect crunch.... and the Greek coffee was the smoothest, richest and most flavorful iteration I have tasted to date. Paired with the baklava... It was magical... One bite, one sip, changed my life and i shall never be the same. If the aforementioned euphoric description wasn't enough to convince you, then you should know the balcony view is incredible, but make sure to have a reservation because you don't want to miss out. My advice to you. Go now, don't wait, get that reservation. But make sure to befriend Mikhaiel the disguised God of Coffee and Baklava from Crete. He will never steer you wrong. Adieu

What a remarkable, stunning, breathtaking view of Santorini! One of the most inspiring spots in all of the island. Set your camera down or your phone down. Take some pictures, sure. But remember to stop and enjoy the view. There is nothing in the world like it.

Well worth the walk up, or the donkey ride but the cable cars take all the strain out of it! We arrived via cruise ship so had cable cars included, we then walked for miles and found the Three Bells of Fira. Beautiful no other words!

We followed the signs to the Three Bells of Fira and it was worth it. The viewpoint offers a stunning panorama of the caldera, with the iconic blue-domed church perfectly framed against the Aegean Sea. You can also see Skaros Rock and the cliffside villages in the distance
Clifton P — Google review
The Three Bells of Fira is one of the most iconic photo spots in Santorini, but here’s a tip: don’t just navigate to the church itself. To capture the classic postcard view, you need to walk around to the back via another path and search for “Viewpoint” instead. Totally worth it for the perfect shot!
Alec T — Google review
It’s a beautiful spot and definitely a must-see—but honestly, it was very overrated. The crowds were overwhelming, people pushing for photos, and the whole area felt like a chaotic mess. It completely took away from the serene essence you’d expect from Santorini. I left feeling more stressed than inspired. If you want to enjoy it, avoid going during peak summer season. The view is lovely, but the experience during high season was disappointing.

We passed by this church while waiting for the sunset in Oia. Although we didn’t go inside, we stopped to take photos outside. The lighting and shadows on the church made it a beautiful spot to pause and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Very quiet during the off-season.
Alec T — Google review
Tucked away in the stunning village of Oia, the Panagia Akathist Holy Church is a small yet spiritually rich Orthodox church, dedicated to the Virgin Mary and the Akathist Hymn. Its traditional Cycladic architecture, peaceful surroundings, and beautiful sea views make it a quiet refuge from the bustling tourist streets. Though not as famous as some other landmarks, it offers a genuine sense of serenity and local devotion. Perfect for a short visit or simply enjoying the charm of Oia beyond the postcard photos.

Beyond its religious significance, the Church of Panagia Akathistos Hymn also serves as a cultural landmark, showcasing the island's deep-rooted traditions and timeless beauty. Michael T — Google review
I visited the Church of Panagia Akathistos in Hymn, Santorini, and it was a truly serene and memorable experience. The church is beautifully maintained, with classic Cycladic architecture — crisp white walls, a charming blue dome, and delicate details that make it instantly recognizable. The setting is peaceful, tucked away from the busier tourist areas, which allows you to enjoy a quiet moment of reflection while taking in the surrounding views. The interior is simple yet elegant, with icons and artwork that convey a sense of history and devotion. I went in the late afternoon when the sunlight hit the white walls just right, creating a calm and almost magical atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot for photography, as well as for appreciating the quiet beauty of Santorini beyond the usual crowded viewpoints. Whether you’re interested in local history, architecture, or just seeking a peaceful place to pause, the Church of Panagia Akathistos is worth a visit. It captures the charm and spirituality of the island in a way that feels both authentic and intimate.

The church is easily Instagrammable because of its two iconic features- the blue domes and the beautiful bougainvillea. Additionally, because the church is located in Fira, which is a popular tourist destination, it often has gates open that make for great photo opportunities.
Very beautiful church by the sea. I pray that God will watch over this island and the people on the coast. Bless the people of Greece and the world.
Anna — Google review
Great location, good spot easy accessible. They re-paint the town every year, as you can see it wasn’t seasonly painted here, but if you go after May you’ll be sure to get the all the right white and blue.

I like this place here. Although not as picturesque as Oia, its far less crowded which makes it easier to relax, absorb and get good pictures
Chandra R — Google review
Lovely view walking by this church. The scenery with the flowers and the sea backdrop makes for a perfect photo spot. The town is quiet so it makes it for a peaceful and a scenic walk. The is a must view site.

Amazing, beautiful place, no words can describe how it feels to be there in person. One of the best places to visit in the world.

The classic view of Santorini and you know what? It is not crowded at all. You can enjoy more peace and view of Santorini without struggling amongst the people sea.

With a tip from a local, we found a “side walk” leading to a great spot to watch the beautiful blue dome church. This is one of the most colorful spots on the walk from Thira to Oia. The view is simply romantic.

Experience the magic of Santorini with a flying dress photoshoot by Flying Dress Photo. From start to finish, the communication was fantastic, ensuring a seamless experience. The friendly team, including photographer George and assistant, made the shoot enjoyable and stress-free. The stunning town of Imerovigli provided a beautiful backdrop for capturing lifelong memories. Even if you're not a professional model, they guide you through poses and expressions effortlessly.
I booked the flying dress photo shoot for my wife's birthday. Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the team. The photos taken were stunning, moreover the time taken to capture the best shots in all the great locations was much appreciated. I was just watching on for the most part, but it was a great experience. Really happy with the 5 star service. Thank you!

Wonderful experience!!!! 10 out of 10 these photos are just a preview. It shows how great the photographer (Vasilis) is. I highly recommend the company (Flying Dress Photo-Santorini). Communication was professional and my pickup and drop off was on time without any issues. The photographer and dress assistant did great with making sure I was comfortable and had a changing area for me to change. Thank you guys!!!
Bianca M — Google review
Some of my favorites from the Flying Dress Photo shoot in Santorini. A few people asked me if I brought the dress with me and the answer is NO! The dress rental is included and they have so many to choose from. The photographer and flying dress assistant we extremely professional and efficient. And yes I paid extra for a flying dress assistant who helps make the dress fly. So worth it!
Daytona L — Google review
Awesome experience and loved the pictures! I was so excited to do this and so loved Vaso to work with on this. Our trip changed last minute and they were able to work out the photo shoot. The final pictures were beautiful! I highly recommend doing this when you travel to Greece!

Waited a few years for my photo shoot...so when we were in Santorini I finally did it! Communication with Vera was fabulous. The photographer in assistant we wonderful. I would recommend this to everyone. Love this company. Can't say enough!
Beverlyann L — Google review
This was an experience of a lifetime. From the easy booking to the day of the shoot everything was amazing. Each person I talked to or had the chance to meet in person were so kind and spoke very good English and make you feel comfortable. I booked the happy birthday shoot with an extra IG reel as a birthday present from my mom and husband while we were in Santorini this past week. This package came with make up & hair and the team that came was wonderful! There was a change in MUA the night before and even that was handled with no hassle to me at all. They ask what you would like but they also give their professional opinion for the weather that day and outcome of the photos. I went with a simple glam & long curls and it was beautiful and all within 30 minutes! I honestly cannot say enough about the photography team! Vasilis and Joanna were so friendly, down to earth and kind. They made me feel so comfortable the entire time. They help pose you and make sure you get the best photos and locations. I will never forget them as they also included my 11month old and husband into some candid shots. Our Airbnb was located right in the most popular photo spot in imerovigli, so after my shoot was done I was able to see Vas & Joanna again as they came to say hi to my family. I would highly recommend this company if you are considering doing a flying dress shoot. You won’t regret it and have beautiful lasting pictures.

Santorini Flying Dress was amazing! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This has been one of the best photo shoot I’ve done. From the communication process with Serhii through whatsapp - it was seamless. Before we arrived in Santorini - the company was communicating with me and sent me catalog and other portfolio samples so I can choose the dress, the style and color. It was me and my 2 other friends who were on a cruise with us and the photographer Irene made sure captured the best poses. And when I say, the customer service and the photographer and the assistant were so wonderful- I’m not exaggerating. The photographer was so patient with all of us and took her time to make sure we were posing right and smiling. If you plan on doing a flying dress photo shoot, I highly recommend this company because they have an awesome communication process and they were on time and they picked the perfect photo shoot location. They’re just awesome! Highly recommend!!t

My Family had the most incredible experience with Flying Dress Photo photographers in Paris! They captured every moment beautifully—balancing the charm of the iconinc Eiffel Tower with natural, candid shots of us. Their creativity, professionalism, and eye for detail made the entire shoot effortless and fun. The photos turned out absolutely stunning, with the perfect mix of iconic Parisian backdrops and genuine emotions. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to preserve our memories—highly recommend them to anyone looking for amazing photos in Paris!

Greek Orthodox church
The Church Mother of Lord Theoskepasti, a small and picturesque Orthodox church, is situated on the edge of the Imerovigli cliff. It boasts stunning views of the sea caldera and features a beautiful blue dome with a bell tower, surrounded by a charming garden. Accessible via a path from Imerovigli to Skaros rock, this remote chapel offers an awe-inspiring experience as it stands alone against the horizon.
Just skip the Fira or any other Santorini's viewpoints and hike here for sunset, it's amazing and here's a plenty of space. Nice perk is to bell in 3 church bells. There are 2 roads to the church: main one after historical cards goes via top of the cliff and left before historical cards has less up and downs, just straight road to the church. Walk from the city requires a little physical fitness, majority of the road has steps and some rocks.
Andrii — Google review
Hidden behind Skaros Rock is a beautiful almost surprising church. The path is a little dangerous, but the view makes the place worth a visit as long as you are careful.
Berkan K — Google review
You need to hike here to see this beauty!
Iuliia S — Google review
The most amazing sunset I have ever seen. It is located really close to Imerovigli. Only 15-20min walk. The trail is not difficult at all. It is a simple walk with a few steps. The sunset here is a must.
Andreea G — Google review
This hidden gem is MAGICAL - you get to see a wonderful sunset in complete privacy from there. It is a small "hike" to get there, you will even think there is no church as you don't see it unless you walk until the end. And let me tell you this: there is no better or intimate place for a proposal...:) There are no people. Its just a perfect spot!
Simona U — Google review
Really pretty blue church with excellent view! The way here was rocky and full of stones so I do recommend if you want to come here you should wear sneakers or hiking shoes but not sandals. It’s about 30 minutes walk following the trail. Good place to check in a sunny day.
C L — Google review
Fantastic ! Great hike down. Never busy because everyone else stays up top. Take the hike it’s only 5 minutes more
Justin B — Google review
Walked here after lunch in the summer heat, which wasn't the greatest idea. The view is amazing – you get views from all over the caldera. The church is worth a look too. Recommended if you have more than 24 hours in Santorini.

Bar
Altana Cafe Bar, located within Altana Hotel in Imerovigli, offers a traditional and authentic Greek experience. The cafe is known for its scrumptious custom-made dishes and extraordinary desserts that perfectly complement the stunning views. Run by twin brothers, the cafe boasts of authentic Greek hospitality, eclectic recipes, and an extensive wine list. Visitors can enjoy outdoor seating with a breathtaking view of the sea and sunset while sipping on refreshing drinks like ginger beer.
We stumbled upon this venue on returning to our hotel after viewing the sunset by Skaros Rock. We popped in one night for a drink and were treated warmly by the two gentlemen behind the bar. They were so friendly and welcoming that we booked for two nights later to have dinner and drinks. The following dinner was a delicious feast of food and wine tasting. We were asked what wines we liked and offered wine to pair with our food choice, the knowledge he held of wines from the region was impressive. If you want to explore Greek wines in an intimate setting with amazing local food to boot then do not hesitate to book, especially in peak season as the venue is small with only a handful of tables.
Vibrazione — Google review
Call and book one of the 2 outside tables! There are a few more inside but outside is where you want to be. Food was incredible as were the cocktails and wine. Worth the prices! Great views. Not full sunset but you get a lot of it. Staff is wonderful.
Eleni M — Google review
The most stunning views, excellent wine selection, and incredible customer service—the wine recommendations were STUNNING, and the sunset here was unbeatable. Off the beaten path and tucked right into the cliff, so also has such an authentic feel. Absolutely loved it—so recommend it!!!

It’s a very nice and cozy bar by the sea. Great sea view and very colorful inside. The bartender was very nice and the wine are amazing. Good for a rest and wine taste after a long walk down the road

Lovely staff [Lady with blonde hair] and young Brunette gentleman. Selection of products are Great. Fresh meat and produce especially cherries.

Bad experience! Be careful, better ask for the price before paying! I bought the bottle of white wine in the picture, assuming is either 4,69 eur, either 8,95 eur. I paied with the credit card and after, I saw on the bill it was acually 13,95 eur. So, I went back to see why I paied that much for it. The answer was that she didn't have time to put the price on it and the prices there were for other wines. So, I wanted to give back tha wine and take another one but she said she cannot give me the diffrence back, as I paied with the card.

Great location. Nothing stand out but they have the essentials. Across the street is one of the main entrances to the main cliff side strip that makes up Oia. You wouldn't be able to tell otherwise as there no signage.

Stunning, and breath-taking serenity! Worth driving or hiking to. We drove part of the way, then hiked up to the church. You don't have to be religious or Christian to go there, visit, and see it. None will ask you or bother you if you are or not. Its historic, something to see and enjoy, and definitely the views are breath-taking. Great photo ops. After touring we sat on a bench overlooking the island the beautiful sea and the amazing peacefulness of it all surrounded us. It was almost a meditative experience or simple the clean air hahhaaa! Highly recommend it for sigh-seeing. Enjoy.

One of the most nice spots in Santorini, you can walk through the path from firostefani to Oia (30 min) or to drive .. you can have a panoramic view of the half island and to enjoy the nature. Its 5 stars for the epic walk between Thira and Oia! This just happens to be a vantage point along the route. The walk is sensational a good couple of hours for fit and able. Not too taxing. We did it in October with a cool strong breeze may be a bit hot in midday summer sun! A must do!

Xin C — Google review
From Firostefani to Oia , if you forget to bring water with you , here seems the only first water supply you can get from a van vendor , selling fruit , drinks.... an icy small 500 ml bottle water cost 2 euro, (not cold one is 1.5 euro) The guy was rude. What’s wrong with asking how much drinks cost??? ( Very important is i enjoyed my hiking !!! By the way there is another friendly snack shop just a few meters further , not far)

The size of the whole church complex has more bigger than most churches on the island. it can be said that from this point the monopath to the Oia starts...
