New Lighthouse in Port Blair served us the best and freshest seafood we've had not just in Port Blair but in the entire Andamans! They serve daily catch, and you can literally taste the freshness in every bite. The Chinese-style lobster preparation was hands down the best lobster I've had in my life — juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. We also had the Red Snapper Tawa Fry with rice and dal, and wow, it was a flavor bomb! The crispiness of the fish with the simple combo of dal and rice was fulfilling. We loved it so much that after returning from Havelock and Neil Islands, this was our first stop before even checking into our hotel 20 km away. Also, adding a photo of our amazing waiter — if you want help with the best combinations or can’t decide which preparation to go for, look for this man! He knows exactly what to recommend. Highly, highly recommend this place if you are in Andaman.

We visited during dinner services, few servers were prompt, however the one who served us was quite reluctant and delayed taking orders and never came back to take the drink order, so we had food, paid and left. Though the restaurant has vast food options and kitchen staff are very efficient. There were options of lobsters and crabs as well.

This restaurant definitely deserves a much higher rating than 3.8! We came in expecting to have a quick bite, but on the recommendation of our server Pawan, we ended up having the chilli garlic squid, pomfret tawa fried, and the egg briyani. The eyes were certainly bigger, we went for seconds! A must try place, simple restaurant ( cash only!) Like home cooking. P/s- coming back for crabs!

The location of the restaurant is good to reach. They provide live crab and big size lobster, besides, many types of non veg items. We tried live crab which costed around rs.2000 and butter chicken with parathas. We requested to prepare parathas non oily but we got exactly opposite, the crab preparation was rather good but the butter chicken did not have the buttery texture and taste. They have open and airy seating for dine in. The staff were gentle.

It is located very near to flag point as well as abardeen jetty. Food is good quality. Sea food is the speciality here. It has a lot of options for vegetarians as well.

The seafood is fresh. We ordered Crab & grilled fish with roti. No a/c but the restuarant service is excellent . As for now the restuarant except only local Indian credit card & cash

Drawn in by the amazing reviews, I ended up visiting this restaurant three times. While it was a bit pricey compared to others, the delicious food and stunning view made it completely worth it. The Andaman king fish curry was uniquely savory, and the tandoori squid was absolute perfection. On my second visit, I had the wonderfully rich and flavorful coconut prawn curry and the tasty chilli garlic squid, though the tandoori squid still holds the top spot for me. My final meal was a showstopper: a succulent giant crab masala.

Just loved the food her very tasty, top snoch... we tried crab soup, tandoori fish and squid butter chilli and lemon cheese cake... yummy. Ranjith sir's services was super. Liked the way he helped us understand in detail Thank you. Overall very nice place to enjoy your food must try.

We had dinner here and it was an unforgettable experience! Honestly, I have never had such tasty fish in my life – absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. The seating arrangement and atmosphere are just amazing, with a beautiful sea view that makes the evening even more special. A special mention to Ranjeet, the waiter – what a guy! His service was excellent and made our dinner experience even better. If you’re in Port Blair, don’t leave without trying the fish here. Highly recommended!

The food is excellent … finger licking good … each dish was exquisite … lobster … squid was nice soft and juicy ….. mustard fish cirry was delicious and mix seafood biryani was flavourful as well…banoffee pudding was soft and light … ambience is so good …. Service was remarkable and the music is just what you need on an early evening date …. To add the weather was also pleasant ……

This restaurant offers great food we tried andaman fish curry ( suramai) it was amazing and we tried for the first time squid masala fry 🦑 it was actually good... The vibes, aesthetics furniture and sea side view are amazing 🤩 I recommend this place for people who would like to eat sea food

Had the tandoori prawn, Andaman fish curry and rice. Taste was excellent. Their lemon cheesecake was also surprisingly very good. Must try but please do get the air conditioned room. Reserve in advance.

I stayed at Olive Hotel Andaman from 12th to 13th September and had a wonderful experience. We booked a paid airport pick-up service, and the charges were genuine. The hospitality was truly impressive — the staff accommodated all our requests, including early check-in, additional water bottles, reheating food, providing extra glasses, and even clearing a portion of the room outside regular hours. Every small request was handled with care, which shows how amazing their service really is. We stayed in the Privilege Deluxe Room with a sea view. The view was clear and refreshing, and the room also had a separate small smoking area inside, which was a thoughtful touch. The location is excellent, right in the center of the city, just 1.5 km from the Cellular Jail, with easy access to the market within walking distance. Overall, highly recommended for their warm hospitality and convenient location.

This is a hidden gem in the small island. Extremely well prepared sumptuous food with very warm hosts. We had all veg Schezwan noodles and gobi Manchurian cuz of navratri and God! It tasted like one of the best Chinese I have had in my life. The soup was very well prepared too. An elderly couple lives there and handles all the things. Very welcoming. I have heard their non veg dishes are class apart. I couldn't try. Anybody else who does try must review. Strongly recommended.

I always make it a point to eat at Golden Dragon when I am in Port Blair. The food is fabulous and wholesome. The couple who run the place are the sweetest and they do all the cooking themselves! Just the home food that I need when I am away from home.

The best place for Authentic Chinese cuisine, the hotel is like a house , neat & clean. The family's origin is from China , moved to Andaman in 1948 who cooks the authentic Chinese style. The must place to visit if wanna have Chinese food 👍

This was the start of my andaman solo trip and as a good explorer , i found this place via google earth and watching local youtube videos This place isn't meant for you if you are too hooked on Indian flavours This is a total new experience for your tongue We tried the black fungus prawns , some noodles And paneer chilly The flavours were subtle not empowering and umami , black fungus was pyaar

We ate biriyani here. It is very tasty. Worth every penny. Ilaneer payasam was really good. Atmosphere is very pleasant.

Location is good.. ambiance is also nice. Coming to the food starter was delicious but main course didn’t not meet our expectations. Ordered mutton ribs( best),chili chicken and veg fried rice (average) , caramel custard..prices were on the higher side.

Me and my friends visited Grillax restaurant today in the evening. They are offering veg fried rice in the name of veg biryani, and the waiter is not at all ready to accept it. I am attaching photos for proof. Second thing the chapathi they are offering (RUPEES 40 PER PIECE) is like papad (very thin). Third thing the quantity of item they are offering is very less as per their price ( see pics i have measured the dish in which they are serving. Fourth , service is very delay first of all they dont give food on time and then they didn't even asked if we wanna order more chapathi's, because of which we left the table ( half of our stomach).

We had dinner at Tandoor Restaurant and tried their roasted chicken and lemon chicken tikka. Both dishes were beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, making it a must-visit spot for food lovers. However, when I needed to use the washroom, I found it in very poor condition. It may have been their personal washroom, and if that’s the case, I appreciate them offering it to me. However, if it was intended for guest use, it definitely needs immediate attention. Ideally, they should have a separate washroom for guests. In addition, the restaurant’s interior could use some work—it feels outdated and could really benefit from a revamp. With its prime location and great food, addressing these issues could make Tandoor an even better dining experience.

We ordered 2 tandoori chicken biryani from tandoor (Swiggy) . Biriyani was not good it was old stock very pungent smell was there. My 416 rupees gone wasted. Zero quality food

The food taste is good. You will love the food but they have very few things on their menu. Also, they don’t give you onions with the food, you have to pay for it. 5-6 slices of onion for 60/- thats alot. The place is also a bit different compared to hotel ambience. Food is good but due to the ambience and cost, it’s not that worth.

It's an average place with above average food, a bit overhyped though. It's good for tandoori dishes, but the only things they use in their marination of these dishes is red chilly powder. If that's a marination, then they must recheck their facts. The tikka I ordered was very low on quantity and quality of the flesh. Roasted fish was again only chilly but cooked really well. Main course was decent I have to say. Service was good. Naan was a big disappointment again. So overall, a thumbs down to the whole experience.

I tried the walnut brownie and it was absolutely delicious — rich, moist, and full of flavor! However, I wouldn’t recommend the misti doi and rajbhog. It had a slightly off taste, a bit bitter, and lacked the smooth sweetness you’d usually expect. Everything else I’ve tried from here has been good though!

It’s a 3.5 for me. The food was a little too spicy for me. I tried only 1 dish so I’m not sure if the spice level is consistent with all their dishes. The phulkas were amazing though. Good service as well. Note that the restaurant is located in the basement, right below the icy spicy sweet shop. I wish the stairs leading to the restaurant could be cleaned. It looks dirty and honestly ruins the overall experience.

As vegetarian travelling to port Blair, finding veg food was on my mind. I find this Icy Spicy pure veg restaurant online and checked reviews. It turned out to be really good option for me. Icy Spicy is neat and clean with pleasant ambience and very good food. I have ordered Special Pizza, Pao bhaji, roti sabzi, cold coffee and few other items. All of the food items are really good and I recommend this for pure veg food items. I will surely visit again whenever I will be in port blair.

This is the pure vegetarian food place in the Jungli ghaat. The ambience is really good. At the entrance they have kept the miniatures of the Indigenous tribe which is really attractive. The area is nice. I like the dining. I have been visiting here for a very long time. The food is fine. The island has its limitations. Good and value for money. Some items might not be that good as compared to the main land but the chaats are nice, the sweets are good. And this place is famous for its sweets. I tried various items here. Visited here with my wife. This place is truly a hidden gem of Port Blair. It's a Harry Potter-themed restaurant which takes us right back to our childhood memories of Hogwarts. The ambience and the decoration of the restaurant have been crafted with fine attention to detail. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was even better! It was priced very reasonably unlike other touristic restaurants in the area. The food was delicious and the portion was totally value for money. I'm glad we visited this place.

This is beautiful Harry Potter themed café, transporting u to the magical world of Harry Potter! The ambience is amazing. The food is also very delicious. Ramen is very tasty! Only con during our visit was that the orders took a little longer than usual. Apart from this, we had a great meal at this café.

The service is decent, though would like the atmosphere. Well.... Continental or international foods are awesome. But Indian, not so good. So, those who love continental food/ international foods, will love it.

Finally!!! A Hogwarts themes cafe. Truly great service. The food was delicious. The service was also up to the mark. The staff even offered us to cosplay as Hogwarts student and handed us magic wands! The interior was glam. Enjoyed it even more as a Hogwarts fan. Great place. Will visit again 👍

I love the vibe of this cafe, it seems like I am living in a harry potter world, their foods are really good, presentation is also nice,you can definitely check this place out, place is silent u can enjoy the lonely time with your loved ones, and the best part is u cant hear any sound from outside traffic and vehicle, and the subtle light and musics sound make the place awesome to enjoy your time being there.. u should try their sizzlers variety I love the taste and the prices there is very affordable and they give u a nice quantity also ...

A very well maintained location. We were staying at the hotel. Initially we were planning on going out to grab food. But after having a meal here we decided to have all our meals here only. Mostly thanks to firdosh he ensured our experience was smooth.

We went for a dinner at rainy night, firstly this restaurant is actually in the basement with some shady entrance. Speaking about the dinner, the food was Ok considering the food I had in last 3 days in port Blair. We had Chicken biryani, Chicken masala and Butter naan. Ambiance was also something which they can enhance at their entrance and some good lighting at outside entrance.

The food was delicious, and the ambiance was excellent, creating a delightful experience overall. The combination of tasty dishes and a pleasant atmosphere made for a truly enjoyable time. Highly recommend for anyone seeking good food and a great environment.

You can see some kerala people but you will not get kerala taste, Quality and taste of food were not good, You can prefer mansha or TSG for same price and best taste. If you are going for a biryani you can also prefer small shop Kudrat biryani just beside to deliciaa.

Good place to have lunch or dinner in Port blair. We checked if there are any special dishes of Lobster or Crab, but we had to inform the restaurant 1 or 2 hours prior visit. So we ordered chicken starter and chicken biriyani. Both were really good. I did not like the attitude of the waiter. He was not ready to talk to us. He might have had a bad day. Not sure.

Owner from mainland india went there and started this resturant and tried to copy KFC, though failed. But if you dont compare it with KFC then its a okay place to give it a try.

Great ambiance and good views by the side of the sea. Sea foods are tasty and delicious. Service needs to be improved more considering the cost of food. Outdoor seating is available just by the side of the sea.

The food and service was as good as it can get. The Banjara chicken kebab and mocktails on offer were absolute lip smacking delicious. Also, in dessert apple crumble with salted caramel was made to near perfection. Whoever was cooking these, did a wonderful job.

The dinner was really a fine dining experience. The service was also excellent. The waiters were very attentive to all our needs , but never intruded into our privacy. The breakfast spread was offered as an ala carta and the choice was apt. The service during the breakfast was also commendable. For a tourist this place is a reliable and safe choice.
