Alcohol seemed a bit expensive but it’s been a while since we are out so not sure if that’s the norm now.

We went to the Pen Y Bont for a surprise birthday meal with 18 family members. From booking the table all the through leaving the venue, the team were fantastic. Faye and Tom made the booking process and preorder so easy and answered all questions quickly and Joe couldn’t have been more helpful on the night. The birthday girl had a wonderful time, as did the rest of the family. Thank you so much for everything! Myself and my partner are regular guests here so will definitely be back for the fab food and brilliant service 😄
I booked a meal for our family, which was such an easy process. The staff were welcoming and efficient but not overbearing. The food came out in a reasonable time and was, most importantly, delicious. I was so happy they had the salad back on the menu, and it did not disappoint.

Received the 40% off voucher so decided to go with friends. On arriving I made them fully aware that I would be using the 40% off voucher but no one said that the it’s only on the main menu and not set menu either though they gave us both menus! We only found this out when we went to order. The food was nice two of us had the cheese burger, one had the fish and chips and the last person had the hunters chicken schnitzel. It was very busy especially for a Monday night, people were being turned away if they hadn’t made a reservation. We were still served quite quickly and the food was delicious and hot. I thought my beef burger was slightly overcooked. The coleslaw was amazing. When I asked for the bill again I was presented without the discount and I had to try then to chase the waiter/front of house manager down to get it corrected. We will definitely be coming back again and thought the 40% deal was amazing value for money.
Excellent venue, plenty of parking. Lits of seating and its not on top of the table next to you. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food was excellent value for money and was served very quickly after ordering. You can order via the QR code or via table service which was nice.

We have been quite a few times for breakfast to the cafe. The service stands out as really friendly and they are thorough when it comes to intolerance/preferences. The Breakfast pallets are delicious. It is spotlessly clean. The toilet is always in a good condition. We love wandering around the selection of plants and gifts in the shop too. My mum bought a beautiful light scarf handpainted by a local artist.

The cafe here was a huge disappointment today.The lunchtime menu has been reduced with no sandwiches on offer,just toasties/ ciabatta and quiche.They used to do a lovely roast veg salad.When the toasties arrived they came with a tiny egg cup sized portion of coleslaw and a bowl of crisps.Where has the lovely side salad and dressing gone!!There was no choice either of white/brown bread.

We always enjoy going here. The garden centre has a fantastic selection of plants & for very competitive prices. The café is always busy, but the staff are only too happy to squeeze us in & their service is excellent. The food has been faultless every time & I'm pleased with what we've received, good size portions & again excellent value for money. It's one of our favourite places to stop for a light lunch. It’s definitely a “One stop Shop” … beautiful gift shop, plants / flowers and the cafe was perfect … had a lovely breakfast… service with a smile.
The Garden Furniture Section was an added bonus … unique styles.

A nice coffee shop situated in a small corner of a well stocked garden centre. Unfortunately let down by the untidy appearance of the parking area at the front of the building, that's more like a disused builders yard.
However both the service and the food were good, but slightly unusual to be requested to vacate our table of four to accomodate another reservation before we had finished our after meal drinks.
Really tasty breakfast, there were 4 of us and we all had different options and they were all lovely. Always enjoy coming here for something to eat 😋
We visited this café for breakfast and were really looking forward to it. We placed our order, which included 2 cooked breakfasts and a simple ham sandwich for our 2-year-old. After waiting around 15 minutes, a member of staff came over to tell us that they wouldn’t serve the ham sandwich until after 12pm, as it was on the lunch menu. It was 11:50am when the waitress came over, we ordered our breakfasts and ham sandwich just after 11:30am the first waitress did not tell us we couldn’t order a ham sandwich. It didn’t feel right eating our breakfasts while my son waited a further 10 minutes for his sandwich, by the time this lady had finished arguing with me she could have made him his little sandwich.
I understand menus have set times, but it’s really disappointing that something as basic as a ham sandwich couldn’t be made for a toddler, especially when we’d already ordered and were expecting it. There was no flexibility or consideration, and it made the whole experience feel unnecessarily difficult.

We bing a party of 3 have visited the wood works many times,it has pleasant surroundings and staff are excellent and attentive. More importantly people seek value,whilst the breakfasts are tasty the are very much lacking in value .Our visits have being reduced for this reason.There are other establishments nearby that offer far better value and equally if not better!!

Higher end chain eatery. Pleasant surroundings and lovely personal customer service. Food arrived in a timely fashion and was presented really well, tasted lovely with reasonably sized portions.

Customer service was okay this time but had to wait a while to catch their attention to reorder drinks, dessert & finally pay the bill.

We had a wonderful experience this afternoon at the Glasfryn. Food was excellent & good value. Excellent service, even though it was busy. Clean facilities. Also great as dog friendly, plenty of space for dogs to move around (on lead), very accommodating with plenty of bowls of water, dog biscuits & additional homemade treats to buy at a small cost at the bar. We’ll be back again soon!
This is a lovely place to go for a meal, or even just a drink. With a comfortable, stylish feel indoors, and lots of space and seating outdoors, with fabulous views - it is a great place to unwind. We have never had a bad meal here, and have eaten here many times. From Sunday Roasts, to Steak Burgers and various unique dishes, the Glasfryn never disappoints. There is a good selection of wines and ales, and it is dog friendly too!!!
Update: Went again last night. Again delicious food with some new dishes on the menu.....I had the Schnitzel which was fabulous. I had two different ales and they were spot on too. The others had the Feathered Beef and the Goat's Cheese Salad, which they said were amazing......especially the Goat's Cheese!!!
The staff here are always ready to help and nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful setting accompanied by delicious food and great beer. Always on the top of our list for a family get together. My young children love playing on the tractor in the summer.
Just called in today with my wife and had the roast Lamb absolutely brilliant. Highly recommend this restaurant. The food and service is first rate.Will definitely be returning
I really enjoyed this pub. The staff were really friendly and the food was a cut above the normal pub grub. We had the crispy squid starter which was lovely. I had the Cajun chicken burger which was v nice and she had the crispy beef salad which she enjoyed The beef salad was big and packed full of crispy beef. The pub its self is really nice with a cozy atmosphere. They allow dogs in the bar area which is fab. They had a snooze while we were eating.

Had an incredible anniversary meal at Just Steak in Mold — hands down one of the best we’ve had! I went for the 11oz Flat Iron steak, and it was absolutely spot on — juicy, tender, full of flavour, and cooked exactly how I asked. The peppercorn sauce was included too which is great touch keeping it nice an simple. The unlimited beef dripping chips were dangerously moreish and kept coming hot and crispy!
The cocktails were a lovely surprise too — really tasty and reasonably priced, which is rare these days. The whole place has a great vibe with its American West-style decor — lots of rustic wood, corrugated steel walls, and cow-themed touches that give it a cosy but character-filled feel.
What made the night even more special was that our first dance song — “Dancing in the Moonlight” by Toploader — just happened to play while we were eating. Completely unplanned but perfect timing!
A big shoutout to Gigi, our server, who was absolutely lovely — so warm, attentive, and really added to the experience.
A fantastic evening from start to finish. Can’t wait to go back!

A pretty good experience with room for improvement.
The staff were friendly enough but honestly a bit forgetful, which got a bit annoying. We asked for a new glass of coke because the first one tasted off, but the second one was exactly the same – like some cheap off-brand stuff which is not ideal when you've paid £3.95 for it.
Food was good, but we had to wait ages for two glasses of tap water. By the time they came, we were halfway through the meal, so having no drinks to go with the food made it a bit less enjoyable.
We both had burgers, not the steak, so I can’t say what that was like. Overall, not a terrible experience, but the service could have been better.
It was a pretty mid experience. Prices were high, but you'd understand that for steak. Wait times for drinks and food was fairly long. Chips were basically chippy chips, which I don't think is the right call for a steak house. The steak was a disappointment. 2 of us had the sirloin. Not much juice for mid rare, and a poor sear. We both agreed we've cooked better at home. The peppercorn sauce was too strong. Other dishes like the BBQ dishes were good though.
Fantastic food, some of the best steak we've ever had. Bit on the pricey side but it is worth it if your celebrating like me and missus were. My only issue was I couldn't get hold of anyone to make sure after booking online that we didn't need to let them know we wanted a Tomahawk steak just in case they needed advance warning or something. Not a bug issue really but I did message them via the Web site and tried calling several times with no answer to the point where I wasn't even sure they were still open for business. It also made me worry if something happened and we needed to cancel our booking so we didn't get charged for it that I wouldn't be able to.
It was all fine in the end and didn't need to warn them of order but I would like them improve their communications somehow.

Just wow! We got the double steak fries from one of their pop ups in Cheshire today and the food was amazing!! The steak was juicy and the chips were crispy and hot. Staff were really lovely, friendly and clearly passionate about the food. They have a restaurant in Mold but they do pop ups too. Highly recommend.
Steak and chippy chips what more can you ask for. Oh wait unlimited chippy chips is what. Great tasting steaks to pair with unlimited chippy chips will definitely be back.

Travelled from the Wirral to eat here having heard it was a great place for steak. The steak itself was lovely. Melt in the mouth. However, didn't think much of the beef dripping fried chips. These sounded amazing but unfortunately these were hard and mostly hollow. Disappointing. And while we were dining, the air conditioning came on and another party asked for it to be turned off before we could as it was cold. Enjoyed the fun cow interior design of the place! Plenty of free parking when we came at night outside.

I only stopped by for a coffee on my way home, it was market day and nice to see it was busy but I got served very quickly. Staff seemed pleasant and hard working. Nice atmosphere seeing friends meeting up, couples having an early lunch, a young couple with a toddler, people on their own, a group of retired men, a mum and daughter, all just relaxing and chatting. Food I saw being served looked nice and fresh actually, abd I was pleased with my free refill!
The food is pretty good and they look after their beer fairly well, but I've seen a number of characters in here that resemble those from the Cantina bar in Star Wars - and the place is just as worn-out and grubby as the aforementioned.
People vaping and shouting at each other at their tables. Rubbish and food all over the floor. Folk listening to puerile videos and music on their phones without having headphones in. Children running amok etc.
So, not the kind of place you can relax in, but okay. Just like any Wetherspoons really.
Great food & drink for a great price, what’s not to love 🩷 We prefer this Wetherspoons to others in the area as it has a better atmosphere and tends to be quieter in the week which is nice. Staff are very friendly to each other and to customers. The Jack Daniels BBQ sauce is delicious!

I treated my friend for her birthday and we had a fabulous selection of different dishes.
We even had enough to take home, as their portion sizes are very plentiful.

Wow. Just wow. I've travelled all over Asia and quite honestly. This is the best Asian food I have ever eaten.
The depth of flavours, the subtly of the added leaves, the tenderness of the meats. It doesn't matter what you have. It's all superb. My 1st ever 5* review of an Asian restaurant, its rarely as good in the UK. And it was takeaway. Brilliant.
Took our daughter there for a pre wedding celebration. We couldn’t have asked for more. The staff went above and beyond decorating the table and making her feel special. Even playing here comes the bride as we walked in!! The food was fabulous as normal. Great choice, always so fresh. Super for vegetarians and people with allergies too!
This time all the food had a burnt oil flavour as if it was rushed with no care. Dirty bits of what looked like old burnt fat. What’s happened to the best takeaway in Mold. Poor very poor. Please also ask your driver to wash and at least try to look clean.

The food, OMG the food ! So good, we went for the all you can eat option and didn't regret it. Hot food, very yummy and the speed of service was the fastest I've encountered but an no stage did we feel rushed.
They very openly raise awareness of food waste and not ordering too much. A great approach from an aware, responsibility restaurant 👏👏👏👏

We tried their " eat all you can banquet" for £19.90 per person from the banquet set menu, but it was extensive enough with the varieties available!
The food is freshly prepared and delicious 😋 and the portion is just right, so food is not wasted!
It's definitely a good value deal, and Miss Tammy and her service team were efficient and attentive during our meal.
A last minute decision & i decided to check this restaurant out instead of the one i was going to. I haven't eaten Chinese food for a while, and this place didn't disappoint. The food was tasty & hot, and the service was superb. Reasonably price too.

The dine in experience unfortunately didn't match it. The only menu option is the 'All you can eat for £18.50'. Pretty good, you might think, but the service was so extraordinarily slow I began to wonder if it was a deliberate ploy to stop you from ordering more. The food itself was nice, although my sweet and sour chicken was an insultingly small portion- it had about 4 pieces of chicken in it. If course, with it being 'All you can eat' you might wonder why I didn't simply order more, but at this point it was 9:30pm, and we had taken out seats at 6:15.... not only were the kids ready for bed, everyone was getting a little grumpy.
The Indian a few doors down was much nicer in my opinion.
Long story short- very good takeaway, reasonable food, poor table service.

During a delightful weekend getaway from Oxfordshire, I stumbled upon Truly Scrumptious, an enchanting little tea room that quickly captured my heart. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, making it the perfect spot for both breakfast and lunch. The friendly staff made me feel right at home while serving generous portions of delicious food at reasonable prices. I indulged in some scrumptious hot drinks and homemade cakes that were simply divine! The service was exceptional; the team went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience.
Visiting from Oxfordshire for the weekend and we found this lovely little tea room , staff was really friendly , food was good portions for the price and it’s a really cute little place for breakfast and also lunch options available , we had some really nice hot drinks and some home made cake was all very tasty !

Lovely little tea room, staff lovely. Breakfast portions were really small, large breakfast ordered with tiny portion however what you did get was cooked really well.
I had the soup and sandwich. The soup was delicious, it was cauliflower and cheese and hot. The prawn sandwich was really awful. I didn’t eat it past the first couple of bites. The prawns were almost luke warm in the sauce - which wasn’t good: not sure if the temperature of the sauce has warmed the prawns up.
I didn’t trust it and couldn’t eat it.
The waitress didn’t ask why I had left my sandwich, just asked for payment of £11:40. This included a tea ☕️
Lovely bright quaint place. Homemade soup and tuna mayo sarnie was very nice. However I'm afraid the staff weren't able to coordinate themselves in a streamlined fashion. Although very nice we waited 20 mins for our order to be taken. We saw two mistaken orders returned to the kitchen. Presentation skills of food was lacking to, literally lumped on a plate and sent out the kitchen. No garnishes in sight. Shame really as we feel just a little bit more thought you could really up your game!

Such an amazing service from this lovely tea room, everything we had was truly scrumptious too! We enjoyed a full breakfast and a breakfast sandwich and couldn’t fault it. All the staff were really friendly and they went above and beyond for us. We would highly recommend a visit.

I wasn't familiar with Belvedere and my first impression is that it seem like a quaint traditional Italian restaurant with the whole atmosphere and decorated...Italian style. Chatted to the owner and his wife (I assume), who seemed very pleasant enough. I did ask if we could pay by card (unaware it was a cash only restaurant) and he replied that it was fine. I ordered the stuffed pepper with prawns and cheese, which was lovely, followed by spaghetti and meatballs in tomato sauce with cheese garlic bread. Cant fault the starter, but the main course was a disappointment and certainly not very Italian. It doesn't cost that much to produce spaghetti and is normally served in a large bowl. My mum felt that the Carbonara sauce was too watery. The owners seem to disappeared and a young girl and man served us. I could not help overhear when he was taking orders over the phone with bookings, that the restaurant is cash-only, that I spoke to him about this and was reassured by the owner that cards were accepted. Even the couple next to us were not aware of this. A simple sign on the door should of notified us this. So, I had to walk 5 minutes to the cash machine and back. It was a lovely restaurant, but its a shame that the main courses was not up to standard and I felt the restaurant should of made it more clear that its a cash-only restaurant, that it clearly ruined our evening.

Very disappointed to be honest,
Given that it’s a small family run Italian business I expected the food to be really traditional with fresh pasta and sauce cooked over long periods of time for taste.
Instead it really tasted like they’d bought a tin of tomato’s from Aldi and poured them over pasta.
My son’s pasta wasn’t even cooked properly and had 0 flavour unfortunately.
Service was lovely but there was 0 heart in the food which shocked me for the price we paid £60-70 pound.
Great food, very nice staff. We went for a small meal, ended up staying for 3 courses. We want to try everything. We will be back!

Have been going here since it opened. However, had a meal last night for 3 cost £40. Quality of food and portion sizes has deteriorated over the last years or so. Beef curry three years ago was one of the best I have had, last night is was not the same meal. You need to go back to the standard that you had when you opened or we will be looking for a new takeaway!
Sadly I went here today after waiting quite a while to have it as a treat and was let down.
Prawn toast were nice but the bottom was burnt from the friar. It needs a dip then running through an oven not left like it was.
Salt and Pepper Chicken wings were tasty but again dripping in fat and grease.
I'd have let all this go if it wasn't for the ribs. I asked for baked ribs. I'm a chef. There was the unmistakable flavour of old deep fat fryer oil on them coated in sauce which wasn't BBQ.
FOR £20. I'D cook better at home. Sorry to say I'll never go back.
I've been a regular here for many years, but last night wasn't so good I'm afraid. The portion sizes for meat dishes are very very tight and you definitely do not get your money worth I'm afraid. Used to be great portion, not the case last night. The quality of food is nice but the portion is not fair I'm afraid. You pay nearly 8 quid for a dish without rice or chips included, don't be tight on portion please its not fair. Staff very nice as always.
The ribs are a decent size for £7 so will definitely be getting again! Roasted bbq ribs were really nice and they have like a crispy layer on the outside 😋 👌

This is our favourite coffee shop in mold. The staff are friendly and the coffee is good. However please can you make the door automatic getting into the shop in a wheelchair is difficult without it.
Lovely cafe, with reasonable Costa fare. Always busy on marker days, which are Wednesday and Saturdays. Staff are friendly and welcoming and provide a fast and efficient service.
The service is actually very friendly and efficient. The drinks are of good quality and taste lovely. The food, again, is of good quality and very tasty. The seating area is nice and spacious and has a variety of table sizes.
Now for the down side.
The toilets could be a lot cleaner, the cafe area also could be cleaned to a higher standard. In fact the whole inside could really do with being refreshed, including the stained ceiling.
Overall, the food, atmosphere and hospitality is outstanding. The staff are patient and work hard to ensure the queue goes by quickly for a fast and efficient experience.
The drinks are of high quality and fairly priced, however the food is not the same. Overpriced and bland, you have the savoury food. But in all fairness, the sweet treats are fairly priced and taste wonderful.
All the better, the tables are mostly always clean to dine on.
I would definitely recommend visiting.

I ordered for delivery to Halkyn Travelodge, they kept pushing back the delivery time so it was 1hr late. Driver was rude and unapologetic. Food quality was poor, mushroom bhaji of flavourless tinned mushrooms, and the saag paneer was equally flavourless but seemed to have a layer of melted cheddar on top?? Really the only decent thing was the cumin rice. Do yourself a favour and order from somewhere else.
We had take out rather than in restaurant dining. The food was good enough and service was fine for a Saturday night but prawns cooked without being shelled was a a deeply unpleasant dining experience which I will not be in a hurry to repeat. Completely spoiled the meal. Absolute thumbs down from me 👎
Been using Korahi again recently after returning to the area. Surprised at some of the negative reviews. Always been a big fan of Indian cuisine and I've tried quite a lot off their menu. I honestly can't recall eating a better Chicken Tikka Madras or Jalfrezi anywhere else! Order to collect is easier than using Just Eat and the gentleman taking orders there is always friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!
1 star is too good for this place. Ordered with them first time tonight. Waited 2 hours, delivery time kept getting put back. Rang and was told they only have 1 driver and as they refused to deliver the order, they are not delivering the order, we have to get in touch with Just eat to cancel, yet they are still taking orders! £40 meal and they can't even tell us, we had to ring them and they hung the phone up on us.... Not their fault apparently. Honestly do yourself a favour and avoid the place, disgusting and dishonest!
I just had read some of the previous reviews and I'm pretty amazed by the bad ones. I have had numerous takeaways from the Korahi Kitchen and I've never had a bad one. We've moved to Chester recently and my preference is to drive back to Mold rather than get one from a local takeaway (and there's plenty of them), despite the time involved.
Had the tandoori mix and chicken chat. It was the worse Indian food I have ever had, and I’ve had a lot. Chat bread not cooked, chicken tasteless and the tandoori mix was just awful; weird taste on the chicken, tough chicken pieces and tough greasy lamb. And the shish kebab was greasy and tasted awful. Avoid.
Fantastic food food and service, had the set meal for 2 which was lovely. The best Indian takeaway I’ve had for a while!! Delivered on time even thought the weather was bad with snow. Will definitely return.

Ordered at 5.45pm Saturday night. Food finally arrived at 8.15pm. When ordering the site predicted it would take 45 minutes. Expect a delay on a Saturday night but not 2 and a half hours! No communication from them and not answering the phone so we couldn't cancel and order from elsewhere. The food that finally arrived was the worst quality takeaway i've ever had. Threw most away. Will never use Club Spice again. Ps did try to discuss when finally got through on phone but member of staff couldn't have been less interested

We had onion baji they was hard didn't taste fresh at all, couldn't eat them, then the other starter was some sort of kabab it was like rubber tried to use just a fork but needed a knife to cut it first mouthful was the last, infact she spat it out in the bin, I tried it, it had a spice taste but again didn't seem fresh and was just like rubber it tasted as if it was days old
The salad that come with it was crisp and fresh and plenty of it.
Main meal I had Bhuna. The chicken was ok ish but rubbery, taste was fine it just wasn't mmm this is nice. The Butter chicken was the real let down, chicken was again rubbery and the sauce just didn't taste very nice,it had a sour taste, so the wife picked the meat out run it under the tap and chewed on the chicken.
We had chips again they seemed old but they was ok
In conclusion.
It was eatable, nothing was fresh and none of it enjoyable not the meal you would warm the left overs up the next day, there was too much wrong with it to think it was a off night for them, it all just didn't feel or taste fresh.
You have a problem there guys with freshness we was totally dissapointed and spoilt our Friday evening, we probably only had 30% of it the rest was just left for the bin, we ended up with cheese on toast after spending £25 on rubbish food.
I know im coming over harsh I just feel so let down £25 is a lot to us and it was a treat we had saved up to have.

Had my first tesco breakfast at this cafe. Cooked breakfast was basic and edible. Sausages tasted bland. Ketchup tasted weak and bland. Staff seemed friendly. Cafe tables was not clean. Cafe floor had trails of mud everywhere. Cafe needs to be kept cleaner. Funny hearing staff in kitchen attempting to sing.
After a little shop I was feeling a little hungry and went for a cup of tea and a bacon and egg on toast, the tea was nice but the bacon was inedible, looked like it was cooked in a microwave with loads of white bits all over the bacon, I couldn't eat this and told the waitress it was inedible she just took it away, didn't offer a replacement or my money back, certainly won't be using that cafe again.
Went for a brunch not too long ago and i had a terrible experience…..not to talk about their hygiene that is not so great, but id like to say that the manger if am not wrong, was so mean and fake. Shambles only ordered 2 items a kebab and a pizza waited an hour and 20 mins for the delivery and no pizza!! The driver when he checked even said oh the pizza is missing. Phoned up and go some rather rude person on the phone who couldn't quite grasp the situation. If they can't even get a simple order order of 2 items right god help you. Avoid people order else where if you're hungry.

I went to order in person due to mixed reviews. I found the place to be quiet. For take away and deliveries only. Takes order in cash only. Ordered 2 large pizzas and a fried chicken at around 8.30pm.
Pizzas came out burnt, when I returned it ,the guy was not only rude but there was no apology. I was there to ask for a replacement for a freshly baked one , he said we are closed after wasting our hour of wait . One of the rudest places I have been in UK. Will not recommend at all. Unapologetic behaviour with lack of customer satisfaction.

Told food would be 45 mins to 1 hour. Called up after 1 hour of waiting to be told driver was 15 minutes away. Driver rang 30 mins later to say he didn’t have the address or postcode even though we passed these on when ordering. Driver turned up 15 minutes later and there was a kebab, pizza and garlic bread missing and the food was Luke warm. What a disappointment. I will never order from these clowns again. Save your time and patience and order elsewhere.

Fantastic cafe in Mold best full cooked breakfast in mold and reasonably priced too. Great choice and big portions. The staff are amazing and very attentive. Great atmosphere and clean. I believe there is now an area out the back to eat outside and dogs are welcome too.
Such a lovely little cafe with plenty of options and fantastic service. Really reasonably priced and we all cleared our plates and were set up for the day. If I’m ever in the area I would definitely return and would highly recommend to others. Just to note they are cash only but there’s an ATM 2 minutes up the street.
In my opinion it's the best cafe in mold. Myself and my wife travel from saltney. It certainly worth the trip. Well done keep it up.
I really enjoyed my breakfast at Mel’s cafe. Staff were so kind and helpful and customer service was excellent. I ordered the “Set 2” from the menu and I was able to have it changed to suit my preferences. I highly recommend Mel’s cafe to everyone who wish to enjoy delicious food and great service.

If you're in the Mold area and craving delicious kebabs, Elm Kebab & Pizza House is a must-visit spot. Many locals rave about the quality of their food, particularly highlighting the flavorful doner kebab meat and the chef's special kebab that features a delightful mix of juicy meats. While some have noted that service can be hit or miss, most agree that they've never had a negative experience with their orders.
We’ve always ordered from Elm Kebab and we normally pick up on a Sunday Evening after a bingo session in Wrexham. However having not gone to Wrexham and Elm not delivering to our address we tried elsewhere and were never satisfied with the food.
Then Elm came available on just Eat and Food hub delivering to Halkyn and we ordered.
In all our time ordering from them it was only the last order that was a little shabby not the food as that’s always lovely but a massive drop in portion wise.
We started to notice a few times when collecting that Denis wasn’t there as he’s just fantastic and in his place was an elderly gentleman who was giving out really poor portions.
It was saddening to see that a £17 chef special was less filling than a large chicken kebab we used to get.
And that reflected on our last delivery too.
We left our thoughts on the food hub and said we loved the food but were so bitterly disappointed to see the portion size decrease but no reflection in the price. I’m so so happy to see they’ve acknowledged it.
Tonight we ordered and we got what we were used to getting. The most fabulous large chicken kebab, a fantastic large donor wrap, large chips and large hot & spicy pizza. We have to give them 10/10 because although the order said 50 minutes delivery it turned up in 25 minutes. Everything was so hot it was lovely and they even threw in a 7” free cheesy garlic bread.
As I say apart from last delivery (hence nothing wrong with food just portion size) they have tonight done themselves justice and gone over board with food quality, size and delivery.
Therefore we will be staying with them and not choosing to go elsewhere.

ideally id give them a 3.5 , i think they really need to toast the buns again, when you have a delivery and the burgers sat there soaking up the juices the bottom bun gets soggy and kinda ruins it at times. Chicken kebabs are unreal, pizzas are nice.. all round reliable takeaway

Husband recieved wrong order again even after repeating over the phone to make sure it was a wrap not pitta bread and even did not have the correct meat that he ordered. He was hungry so ate it anyway. Ordered lamb donner for myself and made an unwise decision to take it back to say they had given me the wrong order also, My mistake they had given me the right meat though it didnt taste nice, was offered a fresh one but could see no point as it would be off the same rack, husband tasted it and said it tasted uncooked/raw.

What has really upset me more is as soon as I left the shop they were all absolutely howling laughing and shouting to each other. Not very subtle as it carried on as I walked down the street and also while they had customers in the shop.
The shop continuously has different staff though disappointed with the managers professionalism in this situation.
I’ve tried lots of different kebab shops since moving back to wales a few years ago , and I can honestly say that Elms pizza and kebab house in Mold has to be the best place I’ve tried, for the food quality and price, and definitely the best donner kebab meat for flavour and taste, and the chef’s special kebab has the most juicy different meats , and better priced than others, so I would highly recommend this takeaway, and also understand that certain times and days of the week will be busy as is all other takeaways

workers are so unhygienic and my food was disgusting. when i got my food my sandwich was squished at the bottom of the bag. and asked for no onions and they still put onions in. also they need to read up on allergens.

Staff are incredible and we always get a warm welcome. They go above and beyond to accommodate every single need. We would definitely recommend a visit, followed by a walk in the beautiful countryside. Car park, very close by and cheap to park too.

It's a really lovely micropub, with a great vibe and great service. Excellent range of ales, ciders, and craft beers at great prices. Coming all the way from Canterbury, it was funny to see a Kent Brewery ale on the pumps, but Prohibition is very good. I'm on a wonderful porter by Unmasked. Don't miss this micropub. It's one of the best, and I've been to quite a few.
It's probably the smallest pub you will ever visit. They always have a good range of local and small national brewery beers.
The locals are very friendly and welcoming.

I always get the vegan Quattro but my missus tries different ones and they’ve all been great. Stephen the owner is really accommodating too and easy to get along with. We’ve been vegan for four years now and it’s been difficult to find good quality vegan pizzas, but now we have A Pesto on our doorstep! Not sure if it’ll be good for our waist lines though. Some of my in-law family members who are non-vegan have also tried A Pesto and reported good things back to me as well. Highly recommend!!

Stunning food, the flavours were intense and the bases so light, the sides were absolutely gorgeous. Never really liked pizza until I had one from here for a family birthday, we had a selection of flavours and you couldn't tell the difference between the vegan and the regular pizzas. The best I've ever tasted by miles.
On Google this may look like a pizza van in a car park, in reality it's the best pizza I've had this side of Naples.
The dough, the base sauce and the ingredients are superb. The calabrese was amazing just enough nduja heat with the sweetness of the fresh tomatoes.
The best part was the service we turned up after spotting it on Google, arrived just as they were closing but instead of turning us away they prepared 2 great pizzas for us, had a chat and shared a drink. If we didn't live 180 miles away we would be here every week.

Stopped here on the way to the beach. Beautiful, clean, big McDonald's, plenty staying and plenty parking and even some lovely outdoor seating.
We opted for table service since it was quiet and we had 3 children with us so was easier.
When our order came, there were no straws for our drinks, no cutlery or syrup for the pancakes, no napkins, and no hash browns either.
No apology for the missing items which was disappointing. They weren't even busy.
Toilets weren't amazing either. Full bins and rubbish on the floor.

This outlet is probably the worst managed in the region. They never stick to their opening times and will often be found closed and hour or two before advertised.
Staff are hit and miss. Being held up in the drive through because the lady serving was too busy talking to friends in the car upfront for an endless conversation (and without purchasing anything) was a frustrating experience.
The franchisee of this outlet should be very concerned for their continued ownership.

I have been quite a few times and they never fail to impress. The food is consistently excellent and the staff are always really friendly.

Really good home cooked authentic Thai food in mold town centre with Super friendly service. Eat in or take away. I ate in with my partner and we really enjoyed our food. You can bring your own booze or order and have a quick drink over the road in the pub whilst you wait. We had a stir fried King prawn dish and a chicken panang. Generous portions and full of flavour. Offers 10% online discount but couldn`t access online ordering. Refused to give the 10% discount when asked. Food tasted ok but they forgot to put in the separate salad for the chicken kebab. Unfortunately approx 4 hours after I had the meatballs I then spent 24 hours shuttle running from the sofa to the loo! Not impressed particularly.
Took my money, didn't get my food, staff refuse to accept that their website didn't work and they hung up on me. Never buy from these people! So rude! And theives! You owe me money!
UPDATE: 40 mins later they phoned back and sent out the order, which was actually quite nice.
Provided proof of payment to the delivery driver so hopefully that's the end of an argument that almost ruined our Friday night.

Brought a mixed kebab and the chef (i use the term lightly) just dumped all the meat in a bowl, put some a little chilli sauce in (I requested alot, the tight git) and microwaved the whole thing for about 5 minutes! I'm surprised he didn's shove the naan bread in there as well. Bearly any veg, maybe 3-4 pieces of onions and peppers. Waste of 8 pounds. Won't be coming back ever again.
I don't recommend eating here, what you order off the menu isn't what they supply you with, just seem to be cutting corners with my whole order. Took a while to be delivered Not professional at all and not much of a selection to chose from and there popular dishes arnt up to scratch either

We bought haddock and chips for two tonight. What would have been a quite good fish and chip dinner was spoiled by a very undercooked batter. The chips were quite good and the fish itself was nice. The price was good.

I don’t usually write reviews, but after being served by Joe at KFC, I felt compelled to share just how brilliant he is. From the moment I approached the counter, Joe’s energy and professionalism stood out. He greeted me with a warm smile, took my order with genuine attentiveness, and somehow made a simple fast food visit feel like top-tier service.
Not only was my food prepared perfectly — hot, fresh, and exactly how I ordered it — but Joe also double-checked everything before handing it over, which shows his impressive attention to detail. Even during a busy rush, he remained calm, courteous, and friendly to every customer in the queue.
In a world where good customer service is becoming rare, Joe is a standout. If every KFC had a Joe, fast food would feel like fine dining. Absolute credit to the team — and the reason I’ll be coming back.

A very nice k.f.c and thankfully very quiet when I visited as the tables are so close together but it was very clean as were the toilets.The chicken was excellent and I had 4 pieces and 3 hot wings and chips. obviously the chips were rubbish as they always are but I really enjoyed the chicken here and even tho I think the chicken pieces are getting even smaller it's the most enjoyable I've had in a while.i'll definitely go back here anytime as I did really enjoy it

Service is great here, always really friendly staff. I come here regularly with my with my father who is in a wheelchair, the staff really went above and beyond other fast food services when it came to making sure he had everything he needed, even the little touches like sorting drinks out for us both from the self serve so I didnt have to leave him alone at the table.

Sophie saved us from leaving. The restaurant is only small and unfortunately 2 of the tables were being trashed by an anti social family. If anyone from KFC reads this Sophie is lovely and wasted here!

I have ordered from this place for 4 years always got the same thing a doner wrap and it was always super fat very good value for money but the last time I ordered the wrap came 1/4 of the size I rang up to ask what was going on and was told that I don't get to decide the portion sizes 😂 no I don't but me recieving the same portion for 4 years decides the size no? Either way their attitude and reduction in portions to African standards have lost a repeat customer

Ordered 2 pizzas, both arrived burnt to a crisp, phoned up and complained and was told I could claim 2 free pizzas when I next order... Called to make another order to be told they don't remember me and they don't have time to argue and then put the phone down on me twice. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
