Absolute stunning service and food! Such a good vibe! From the moment you step in into the restaurant you feel so welcomed! Chef knows how to cook simple food but extend it to another level! Old hill black and white movie 🎥 is nice little touch which brings this nice vibe! Will be coming back and totally recommend this place to everyone !

We were blown away by our first ever visit to Restaurant 1840 in Dawley, Telford, a former Methodist chapel where the tables were created from original chapel pews. We had three courses and every course was delicious. The restaurant was impeccably clean, with the cutlery being noted for its cleanliness. The waiters, all youngsters, were impressively polite and we didn't get called "guys" (apparently the staff are not allowed to use that term). The wait between courses was just right and the ambience good, with gentle music at just the right volume. If there is any constructive feedback then it can only be that the plates could have been hotter, other than hot plates is a pet hate of mine, but the temperature of the food itself was fine. My late dad, at one stage during his life used to be a Methodist preacher so to be in a former Methodist chapel was good. We were suitably impressed to book a future visit and look forward to that occasion.

Just WOW!! Our first visit for our anniversary and we were greeted by lovely staff and shown to a table upstairs with a lovely view overlooking the restaurant. The food was stunning, not one criticism at all! It's so nice to have more interesting menu options like venison, pigeon and pheasant. We were offered complimentary tasters between courses which was a lovely addition. The staff were very attentive and timings were spot on. I can't wait to go back! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!

The phrase "hidden gem" is typically overused hyperbole these days, but Restaurant 1840 really does meet the criteria. Tucked away on Stirchley Lane is a beautifully repurposed church, offering a rather unique restaurant setting. Outside, there is a car park for 13 to 14 cars, a comfortable outdoor sofa area to the front and a decking are to the rear. After being warmly greeted in the reception/bar area (an 'add-on' which does not form part of the original church building), you pass into the main dining room which would have previously housed the church pews. There are certain bits of church paraphernalia remaining (an organ, bits of pew), but nothing overbearing or gimmicky. We were seated downstairs, but there is an upstairs area that looks over the main dining area. A viewing window offers an interesting open view into the kitchen. The room is cosy but at no point did we feel intruded upon by, or too close to, other patrons. We were tended to very promptly and warmly by our dedicated server. Our order consisted of a glass of Malbec each, BBQ Pork Bites & King Scallops to start, and Duck & Fillet Steak mains. Complimentary bread with a red pepper butter, which was bursting with flavour, was provided pre-starter, which was a lovely touch and really built a sense of excitement for the courses proper. Staying true to the teaser we'd just been provided, the courses themselves were deliciously cooked and teeming with flavour. After tasting each other's food, my fiancée and I immediately began drawing dividing lines as to what was available for pilfering from the other's plate. The only issue of the evening was that my fiancée's steak arrived medium to well, rather than the ordered (and recommended) medium rare. However, this was swiftly and discreetly rectified by the personable and professional manager. An entirely new meal was provided (not just the steak). A total bill of £90 was definitely worth the tastes on offer and the air of exclusivity that comes with the more intimate venue. We will definitely be returning to sample more of the menu and would encourage anyone looking for a serious restaurant experience in Telford to try Restaurant 1840.

A great quality restaurant in Telford. An unusual setting of an old church which has been transformed into an aesthetically pleasing venue. The staff, whilst all young, have been well trained and are attentive to diners needs and requests. The food was excellent, using quality meat products or fresh vegetables and well cooked. We were in a larger group and only a couple of issues being soup which wasn't very warm, which was taken and heated up, and the pork belly was a bit thin and subsequently was over cooked and dry. So other food was excellent and the team all commented on how good it was. A bit pricey but worth a visit for something different. Have returned several times, mostly as a large party, and the quality has remained each time. Attentive staff and quality food.

What a lovely local gem! The atmosphere and seating was cosy and very comfortable. The staff from the minute you enter the old church are so welcoming, friendly and they make you feel very special. The food is just simply amazing, with a good choice of menu, using mainly local produce. There was no rush, so this enabled you to enjoy your food and company you were with, staff attentive but not intrusive. Absolutely perfect and would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to family and friends.

Fabulous meal for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. The staff are so lovely and helpful and the food was delicious. The atmosphere is ambient not too loud and jot too quiet I have nothing but praise for this fabulous restaurant.

The food was delicious and the service was great. Our waitress was very polite. The only downside was that we had to remind the waitress to bring out our bottle of wine, and the restaurant was far too hot. I had to take off my shoes and socks as I was too uncomfortable. But other than that, it was lovely x

Tonight was my first visit to Miller & Carter and certainly will not be the last. The food was amazing and we were served by Chris. What a lovely funny guy. He made the experience even better, thank you.

Got the Sunday Sharing Board. Couldn’t fault the food except the mash could have been hotter. There were three price tiers for wine which we assumed was glass/pichet/bottle. Server didn’t seem to know and even though we ordered “medium” we’re given a single glass at the lowest tier price. Overall, I would definitely recommend and I will for sure be back. Only real negative for me was the fact that a dress code was emailed ahead of the reservation and this didn’t seem to be upheld by a lot of other patrons.

The best Miller and Carter is Telford, by far! Always the highest quality food, the friendliest of waiters who can never do enough for you. Today we had Chris and he was so lovely and attentive.

Lovely lunch with my sister. Chris was very attentive and all requests dealt with. Only criticism and I didn’t say anything in house because I didn’t want to send the food back, the chips were piping hot but the main course was cooked but cool. I think maybe the kitchen. staff were waiting for the chips and the main course was ready. Lovely experience though and the floor staff were an absolute pleasure. Thank you.

Lovely experience, food was great and cooked perfectly. Our server was the highlight, Majka (I hope I've spelt that correctly) with the fabulous blue hair was kind and attentive, she took my gluten intolerance seriously, confirming things with the manager which is appreciated! For her second week she really demonstrated great service and added to our experience in a positive way! Great evening, always a place I go back too and recommend!

I and four friend’s had lunch here today to celebrate a 70th birthday of one of our group. . Chris looked after us extremely well & the service was excellent. We received a very warm welcome on arrival & everyone involved was very polite and helpful and the food as always was delicious. Our friend received an extra little dessert to celebrate her birthday which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. See you again soon!

Popped in for some pre film food, decent selection choices with plenty of variety on the menu. Food and drinks came quickly and was very tasty. Dropped 1 star for the food as I would have liked a little more chicken on the main. Just to note, you cannot book in advance for parties of less than 6 people, this was not an issue for us at 6pm on a Thursday but by the time we left the restaurant was almost full.

Visited for a quick coffee and the service was excellent, polite and friendly staff. Decided to visit again for dinner, the children (18 & 13 years old) and I had a lovely time. Easy to order via app, helpful and polite staff, they’re always busy yet have time to ensure every table is settled and happy with everything. The food is delicious and drinks great, I must admit the coffee is delightful and I’m fussy! A calm and chilled atmosphere despite being busy. Wheelchair access. Ideal for children and families. Situation next to other restaurants and great shopping facilities. A fantastic park (Telford) a couple of minutes walk, which offers fabulous family friendly activities and much more… Overall - Excellent.

We had a wonderful family meal here and as a group of over 10+ people, I was very impressed with the food and how quickly it came. The tables were put together so we could be together which was nice. Our meals were very tasty and they were good sized portions. All the servers were very friendly, and tried to be as helpful as possible. The only disappointment was unfortunately a drink that was knocked over by a member of the team which subsequently ended in the contents swimming around in my handbag and my phone having some damage to the speaker. Accidents do happen, I understand we're only human. But it would have been nice for us to have received a voucher or similar for the inconvenience and damage to my items.

We went to try the Tuesday tapas special offer and were glad that we did. The food actually arrived quite quickly and all together which was good. We both had the 3 tapas dishes with a drink option, so in all had 6 dishes to share and 2 drinks which we felt was good value. The food was very good as was the service. Will definitely return.

I come here every so often and it's always a pleasant experience. Today really impressed me though. We dropped by at the height of lunch and it was completely packed. We needed a table for thee but only a table for two was available. She asked us if we'd be happy sitting at a small (2 person) table with an extra chair (flexibility). While she wasn't the only person to serve us and they were all good, throughout our meal she seemed to be like a Tazmanian devil. She was the one that greeted us, she collected our used crockery but she cleaned three of the tables near us, she was brushing & sweeping the next minute and then she was delivering food the next. I'm an Army (British) veteran and I notice things like this. If I'd had ready cash on me I would have tipped, she's what I would term as a "grafter". I don't know who she was (they don't wear name tags) but she wore a mustard coloured dress & had tattoos on both her ankles. I tend to notice people who work hard or provide a good service. In an environment of great staff and great service, she shone.

Once again, another positive experience visiting the Lounge brand. We had good food, mocktails and pleasant service. the staff are very welcoming to children with additional needs. definitely recommend!

What can I say about the Albion? I've been to the Albion on several occasions for food and for a summer beverage and they never disappoint. the food is always immaculately presented, deliciously executed and the atmosphere is second to none. I visited last night for an evening with my Cinders to celebrate my mums birthday and they went above and beyond and the meal became an experience to treasure. I cannot recommend them more. Martin definitely puts his heart and soul into every meal he creates masterfully. Simon with his hosting capabilities. Was a beautiful and a fun filled evening, cannot thank them enough.

For the past few weeks they have started doing breakfast here and we love it! My partner works nights so this on an early morning is a god send as she wants to go straight to bed after a tasty breakfast with no washing up! This has a separate indoor and outdoor seating area to eat from the main bar. A lovely place with lovely staff! Great value for money!

Have visited twice now, once for a Sunday lunch and once on a Saturday for lunch with their main menu, both times as a couple. The food is superb - honestly, this place is an absolute gem. Don't expect fancy or modern decor, this is a typical local pub, but it's clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Sunday was a nicer atmosphere, families and elderly couples, whereas the Saturday was less welcoming being quite full around the bar with football fans (and the language that goes with that!) Had I been with my children I would have been really disappointed and uncomfortable but as it was only adults I didn't mind so much and could mostly ignore it. Plus the food makes it worth while! A steak cooked to perfection, all the sides piping hot and fresh and the presentation of the starters is lovely. The Sunday roast was superb, with the best stilton and broccoli soup I've ever had! The puddings are equally impressive. If you want really, really good home cooked food and you are with your other half or friends, don't hesitate in coming here. But if you're with children, stick to a visit on a Sunday. We will 100% be back.

Honestly portions need to be bigger. Food is great, love being able to get a takeaway that isn't covered in grease but I ordered a lyfbox with double meat and it honestly felt like a kids portion. If I spend £15 on meat & rice, I wanna be full. Only giving it 4 *s because I can't knock the food itself or the service but portions are too small & opening hours are awkward.

Absolutely amazing. Bought myself a lyf box recently & asked for the sauce on the side so I could share it with my 11 month old. She’s lactose intolerant so planned on sharing the rice & chicken plain, they very very kindly gave me a tzatziki sauce for her as it’s mild & vegan. We both absolutely loved it, really really appreciate the kind gesture, thank you!

Had a good takeaway from here - quick service and ready on time. Wraps were well filled and the Lyfbox has very tasty. Flank steak was chargrilled so had a lovely flavour. Buffalo sauce was very spicy - only for chilli lovers!! 🌶

Fantastic remedy to the plain Jane and junk fast food chains that plague Telford. This is healthy eating at its most flavoursome best and I didn’t have to wait that long either. Staff are super friendly and helpful with any questions you have and the menu is easy and straight forward with the prospects of them launching more great menu choices. This is the future of fast food!!

It's my favourite food spot in Telford & I wouldn't exaggerate if I said it’s the best healthy & tasty Burger in town, If you are around it's a must try Lyfbox & the burger .

And now it's excellent again 😁 The chowmein is particularly good 🤌 and the staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive. 2021 review: We've been going to this restaurant for years and it has always been amazing, but I think it recently changed management or something and now the food is completely different. The yuk sung now tastes of butter and the other dishes weren't as good as they were either 😞 Previous review: Fantastic! Great food, and loads of it. The starters of Yuk sung and sack pancakes were particularly tasty. Highly recommended.

The food was of good quality, served quickly and tasted fresh. The staff working there were attentive, friendly and I liked the general atmosphere. Happy to come back again as there is a lot of choices on the menu we can try.

I had some beautiful food here. Everything was well presented, the staff were very accomadeting. There is plenty of choice of food and drinks to keep everyone happy.

This was a brilliant restaurant for lunch, with a warm interior replicating greenery! The Christmas decorations at the time of visit were nice and leather seating is comfortable, counter is neat in itself. I had a diet coke to accompany the fresh Chicken Wings with a delicious spicy sauce, servers were friendly and cleanliness was solid!

Called in for quick dinner before work. Found it a bit pricely for what it is. But managed to find meals under £8 so had chicken sandwich and chips. Service was ok. Food ok. Atmosphere ok.

Had a Great restaurant for singles or large groups great service. Plenty of varied seating areas. You don't need to be in the Premier in to enjoy a breakfast, can be paid for separately.

Went to the beefeater in Telford yesterday and the service and food was absolutely amazing. when you buy a fizzy drink you get unlimited top ups and the staff did it without any prompt. I had a rump steak which came with a mushroom, chips and a sauce. I can say that it was the best I have had for a long time. I strongly recommend this place.

Worst Beefeater ever. Food was adequate. Staff attitude appalling! We were shown to a seating area for the 6 of us, by the manager, only to find we were allocated a booth with fixed table and seats. As we are not the smallest of adults, we couldn't fit in. When we asked if there was any other tables, we were grumpily told the restaurant was fully booked because of the summer holidays and the hotel was full. I asked if they could pull tables together but got the same reply. A nice gentleman even offered to move if it would help us but he was told the same thing. She begrudgingly offered us a bigger table but we're told we could only have it for an hour ( quite a job in itself with 4 kids ) so we accepted but felt like we being rushed and didn't enjoy our breakfast at all. It didn't help that she was talking at the top of her voice for everyone to hear which was quite embarrassing for us. Before the hour was up we were being watched and the manager and her staff were looking at their watches and talking between themselves while staring at us. Needless to say we hurried out and it's no surprise to say we will never set foot in there again. She even had the same attitude with other guests so at least it wasn't just us, but still, not the greatest start to the day.

Had a really good night for my daughters 17th birthday. Would like to thank Duncan for his amazing service he really made the night special. The kids loved him and he was very helpful and really looked after us. He made the night extra special. Food was lovely has always we all had a great time.

We had Duncan serving us today and he was amazing! Super friendly service and very helpful when our table needed anything, felt very welcomed:) the food was also delicious, absolutely no complaints! I love the funky decor inside too, makes it feel like a relaxed environment.

Me and my partner went for a meal on a Saturday night, meal was fantastic really enjoyed it the staff were just lovely, the best meal out we have had in a long time. We will definitely be going back again soon.

I haven't been to Bella Italia for a while, but I stopped by today and ate there again. The food was still delicious, and the waiters were friendly and smiling.

Had a wonderful meal at Bella. The food was wonderful, well presented and came in a decent amount of time. Our server Liam was a lovely man, professional, charming and diligent with a very friendly, warm approach. Nothing was too much trouble and will definitely be returning very soon. Only criticism, not for us but for Bella was our server didn't know how to take a tip via his tablet, so we were unable to leave a tip as we had no cash on us.

A great experience here staff are friendly and helpful and your given plenty of time and to enjoy your time here. The food is very nice we went foe the 3 courses for £25 and we wasn't disappointed at all everything was spot on.

I recently visited Spice Land in Wellington for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a great experience. The menu had a fantastic variety of authentic Indian dishes, and everything we ordered was bursting with flavor. The spices were perfectly balanced, and you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The staff were more than happy to offer recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The only small downside was the limited selection of cocktails and soft drinks, but honestly, the quality of the food more than made up for it. It’s always exciting to discover a new favorite spot, and Spicelannd has definitely made that list. I’ll absolutely be coming back – highly recommend for anyone who enjoys rich, flavorful Indian cuisine in a welcoming setting.

Came with a group of 7 while staying in Wellington. Thought it looked good and smelled great from the outside. When the food came, mine personally was okay. Nowhere near the better curries I’ve had but it is what it is. 3 of the group had masala and weren’t happy with it at all. We all tried it and agreed that it was really bad. When this was brought up to staff, the manager became super defensive, refusing to take criticism, and turning very rude. Then when he got the same energy directed back, he was then upset by this. The 3 that had masala hardly touched their food and didn’t want to pay for it. The owner said that because they asked if everything was okay about 1 minute into people putting their rice and curry onto their plates, that we lost our chance to complain. He then very aggressively demanded we had to pay the bill all as one, and had another rude member off staff to block the door. This one was also very aggressive without good reason. Eventually they took £19 from the bill. (Each curry was £13 if I remember correctly.) For the sake of wanting the ordeal to end, we paid and left. The waiter-come-bouncer then continued to be rude and seemed like he wanted to fight one of us over comments made about the awful service. During the back and forth the owner kept trying to twist the situation to make it seem like we were making a scene rather than himself. I feel sorry for the customers that had to put up with that, but I can wholeheartedly say it was fully at fault of the staff and owner. I cannot recommend you stay away enough. Bad food is one thing, but flat out horrendous customer service is unforgivable.

Wonderful meal had at Spiceland, Wellington, Telford. Food tasty, service good, couldn't do enough for us, price reasonable. This is some where we visit as a couple or as a family and we always receive a warm welcome. Well worth a visit. Wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion. Special thumbs up to Nas.

We thought we would try for a change ( we wish we never bothered it was a waste of money) Order completed online- it arrived prompt. However everything else was disappointing. Food covered in oil, was bland and cold, when we explained to the manager he just insisted they were lentils, and the oil covering the food was juice from a pineapple….. It was oil as clear as day. Food was returned as prompt as it arrived, where he informed if 30% of the food was remaining he would refund. Well that was A LIE!! 99% of the food had been returned. And no refund!!! Frankly I would avoid, unapproachable and rude, if you can’t take criticism which is honest you shouldn’t really be in business. I only wish I took photos before we returned the food.

We booked online. Very friendly when we went in. Shown to our table. Place looks lovely. The owner came and spoke to us and the waiters were all very friendly and answered any questions we had. Food came out nice and quickly and we were asked if we were ready for our mains after we finished our starters which I thought was good as you sometimes aren't ready. The food tasted fantastic. Would definitely recommend coming here. We were even offered a complimentary baileys at the end. Went again this evening. All still very good.

I can't believe im saying this ad normally go here and everything is lovely but today it was the opposite, in fact it was terrible. Me and my son went and ordered starters and mains, the starters must have taken 45 mins plus to arrive and when the did I have boneless chicken and it was cold so they took it back and obviously put it in the microwave so it came back warm but rubbery so tried to eat a little. My son had garlic bread and that was just warm but he ate it as was starving. Then another 45 mins plus the mains arrived and oh dear it was awful. My son had chicken fingers and chips and he said that was okay but I had the tgi burger and when I day it was burnt I mean it was black and hard and everything tasted of burn and was inedible. Don't get me wrong they took my food off the bill and offered to also remake my main but I was then put off it and didn't want to wait another 1hr for my main. I also got a free dessert and that was lovely and I wish I just had 3 desserts instead lol. The manager apologised and said they had more tables than expected so we're busy but it really wasn't that busy and that doesn't justify the burger I got. We were gutted as until today we have never had one complaint about here but today was awful from start to finish. Also another 4 tables complained in our area and only 5 tables were in use and the last table had just sat down. I felt terrible for the waitress as she was lovely and couldn't apologies or do enough for us. Doubt we will go again as think it may have changed hands l.

My daughter and I went for dinner on a weekday, it wasn't busy, 1 other table. Staff were friendly and welcoming and attentive. We ordered steak and mash and a kids burger. The kids burger was OK, came with corn and garlic bread, no complaints and I didn't try it myself. The steak was a little overdone, I'd asked for it medium but was tasty none the less. My mash came out warm in parts but quite cold in another. I raised this with a member of staff straight away, who apologised and went away to sort it. The Chef then came over with a fresh helping of mash potato and personally apologised for the first mash and said he would take our desserts off the menu as an apology for this. I really appreciated him coming over to offer an in person apology rather than getting another member of staff to come over. It went a long way and was very professional. The mash aside the rest of the meal was good. We had a kids create your own sundae and a key lime pie. Both were very nice and presented well. As mentioned above, the mash potato aside, the service was very good and the food was good. I'd go back and give it another try and recommend people try it. We enjoyed the decor and songs playing.

Classic TGI - quite convenient it wasn't packed. We just had a small meal to share and had two little ones. Their burgers were very nice. Could do with a few more cider options,we only had two. Opt for the barcode menus , some of them are not so desirable to look at but other than that great time

Steve was brilliant at his service, from taking us to our table to even offering us a taster in one of the sauces since we were unsure of flavour. Allowed us a great discount too on our food due to the offer being ran at the time. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant, will return again should I ever find myself in Telford

I stopped by for a few cocktails on a warm summer's day! The service was absolutely fantastic; I was greeted warmly and felt welcomed right away! The cheerful bartender provided us with quick and efficient service. Inside the restaurant, it was clean, modern, and had an incredibly funky vibe that I loved. I will definitely return in the future to sample the food.

Came for a family meal this evening. Macaroni cheese was cold, and looked nothing like on the menu photo. My 6 year old wanted a plain burger, with no cheese, they put cheese on it, so had to send it back, it came back looking like this, burnt and tasted horrible, so he couldn’t eat it. Very disappointed won’t be back

Table service was half arsed, maybe just finished a rush or something but there was a generally cba attitude amongst the staff. Food sounded great on the menu but fairly bland once it arrived. Positive notes though, the cocktails arrived very fast by other servers and really well presented and mixed to the recipe spot on. However for £50 for one person with two drinks and a burger meal and generally poor service...not cool guys.

As a Scottish person I'm used to eating grey- this food was an awakening for me. An amazing mix of tasty spices, garlic and naan, it also arrived quickly. To top it off it was great value for money- we will definitely be back.

Struggled to find a good Indian takeaway and tonight we landed on a Gem. Masala chips lovely and rest of the food was top quality. Even the service and delivery and wrapping of food I cannot fault this place. Definitely be trying again. Thanks.

A wayside inn, completely updated for the modern world, and full of mostly happy people. Loads of parking, but set near green lanes perfect for unwinding after a working day. The staff were welcoming too.

A very disappointing service. I had a glass of NZ Sauvignon and my second glass was clearly not a NZ one....I went to the bar to discuss with the manager who put it under his nose and told me I was wrong....the bar tender told him she had poured a Chillean Sauvignon....the manager was still saying I was wrong despite the bar tender telling him I was correct and she had poured wrong wine. Waited for condiments and only got them when we'd nearly finished our meals. Fish and chips were good but bit heavy with salt. Not sure what the red cabbage had in it but it was bitter and couldn't eat it

One of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. At first, everything looked promising – drinks and our order were taken swiftly, and starters arrived without issue. But then we were simply forgotten about. How it can take a kitchen over an hour to produce just two dishes from a limited Sunday lunch menu is utterly beyond comprehension. To make matters worse, a family – who I can only assume were the owners – walked in, and the staff immediately abandoned their actual customers to fawn over them for the best part of twenty minutes. If they weren’t the owners, then whoever is in charge here desperately needs to train the team on how to prioritise paying guests. We eventually had to leave without even being served our main course, and the entire debacle threw the rest of our evening into disarray. A truly shambolic effort – I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

As we were staying at the Travelodge which is opposite the restaurant we thought we'd give it a try, and it didn't disappoint. The menu had plenty of choice and a good selection of drinks at a very reasonable price especially as I was able to use my Blue Light card. I had the seafood casserole and hubby had the double pepperoni pizza which he requested with additional chillis which was no problem and we were very happy with our choices...very fresh and hot. Service was prompt, staff were professional and friendly.....all good 👍

Wow amazing food for family I am eating vegetarian and the food was amazing and the service so quick was the first time but i will back again and again.

Calamari had no flavour and risotto seemed microwaved, pizza is dusted with something that goes everywhere and pudding was nuked to much and burnt my mouth. Atmosphere was cold and felt like there was no love. Tables were dirty and never wiped from all the drink stains I can see. Did not appreciate the forced 10% tip and you must be the only restaurant to do this. Didnt leave feeling anything but know I won't be back sadly.

I highly recommend Wildwood restaurant in Telford. The food was absolutely delicious! The biggest applause, however, goes to the chefs – Kamil and Bartek. Not only do they serve exquisite dishes, but their positive energy also creates a wonderful, friendly atmosphere in the restaurant. You can see they cook with passion. We will definitely be back!

Had a fantastic meal at Wildwood! Every dish we tried was spot on—from the crispy fries to the rich chocolate brownie that paired perfectly with vanilla ice cream. The service was on the ball too; we were greeted warmly and the staff made sure everything was just right. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed, making it the perfect spot to unwind. My son said this is his new favourite place to eat. Have to agree, the portions were a good size, the place was super clean and staff were helpful and friendly too. Meals were delicious and the seating choices have somewhere for everyone to feel comfortable, lots of space. My son is autistic so we had a nice quiet booth. Lots of choice for adults and children. A lot better service than we've experienced on previous visits. However, it was a Monday evening so not a huge volume of customers to look after. Food was good. Ryan was a helpful and friendly server. As with all these chains, the staff are busy trying to juggle delivery orders with sit in customers which is always a shame as it detracts from the atmosphere.

My server, Ashley was great! The food was good too, only critique was that even though it was quiet when I walked in, I was left without checks for a while. It got busier the longer I sat, but while it was quiet I noticed the waitress avoiding my table and checking on other guests around me... Overally, it was a good experience.

The waiter was super helpful and brought our grandson’s food very quickly. We enjoyed our meal here, although the menu has changed somewhat from the original Zizzi format. They were not very many people in the restaurant so there wasn’t much of an atmosphere, but that didn’t bother us as we wanted a quiet family meal. It was a pleasant change to not be greeted with the question. ” have you booked” ? Whilst I appreciate that when a restaurant is busy, this is a necessary question, however we have been greeted with this at Zizzi on a number occasions when restaurants are virtually empty. Me and my partner went here for a late lunch (around 3 o'clock).. we got to choose our seats which was nice for a change, I picked a window seat to people watch, ordered online and the cups for our unlimited drinks came within a minute later.. food served about 10 minutes after that.. sizes of the sides seemed quite big and the chicken was cooked to perfection, everything was extremely tasty and served hot! The toilets were very clean also, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, the lady who came to check if our food was lovely gave a great suggestion for pudding and explained it's quite filling so they'll give us a goody box to take the rest home. Overall fantastic experience and a beautifully cooled meal! Well worth the money, partner had butterfly chicken breast with the flavouring of sweet BBQ, I had sweet BBQ grilled chicken wrap 🤤 both had sides of peri peri chips and coleslaw with 2 unlimited drinks £37

Another great Nando's here in Telford! Spacious, very clean, and had my favourite special back on the menu so it was perfect. The staff were welcoming and due to a busy early evening session...their friendliness was slightly subdued. My friend's half Nando's chicken looked delicious and was and my special "Portuguese chicken livers" was back on the menu, so good and so delicious! The food was delicious, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was great, music was on point with the Gipsy Kings mixed in with other well chosen tracks. Each dish was packed with flavour, well presented and tasted amazing, enough to leave you wanting more, but with a nice selection of plates left you feeling full. Ideal if you go as a larger group as you can select more to try but equally satisfying as a couple. I would highly recommend, I only wish we had been sooner, but we will definitely be visiting again soon.

First time been to the Orange house, went with a friend and we had Tapas for lunch, really lovely staff, plenty of seating, food was really tasty, the crispy aubergines were to die for! I feel a couple of the dishes might have been slightly expensive for what they were, the mushroom tapas for example was very nice but felt a bit pricey, but the asparagus and the bread with the garlic dip was amazing !!! It’s fantastic to welcome a restaurant of this quality to Wellington, a great addition the go-to foodie destination in Telford. ⭐️4.5/5 Recommended👍🏻 Price 💸💸 Small plates and sharers are the order of the day for @orangehouse_wellington with plenty of choices for everyone on the main menu plus daily specials. Some vegetarian choices that stood out for us were the Tomato salad generously marinated in olive oil and herbs and the hearty lentil soup packed with vegetables and garlic. The traditional homecooked Spanish omelette with onion and potato also comes highly recommended and the special of grilled asparagus topped with almonds definitely hit the mark. For fish lovers this is probably the only place in the area where you will find octopus which was tender and flavoursome served on sliced potato and dusted with paprika. Spanish classics of gambas pil pil and fried Mediterranean Whitebait also feature on the menu. Rich decadent slow cooked Iberian pig cheek is not for the faint hearted. Cooked in red wine this has all the flavours of Spain. Piquillo peppers stuffed with black budding were a little too heavy for us but appreciate this is just personal taste. The cheese board was great value with three types of Spanish cheese, salad leaves and croutons. A chutney or jam would have been welcomed, none the less fantastic for a group sharer. It’s worth noting that many of the dishes are served with potatoes so you may not need the ‘Patatas’ sides depending what you choose. Casa Naranja in Shrewsbury has always been a favourite of ours and its sister restaurant in Wellington most definitely serves the same authentic, mouthwatering tapas. Without a doubt the best dining experience in Wellington. This has become our chosen venue for all special occasions for its amazing tapas and wonderful vibe. Whenever we have friends or family visit and want to entertain we always make a reservation (which is very easy using Book A Table). Matt and the team work incredibly hard to make every dish authentic and special. As always we look forward to our next visit.

23/02/25 Its absolutely refreshing to see this Restaurant in Telford. its only been open a few months, but we popped in for Sunday lunch and it certainly didn't disappoint. The staff were attuned in how to look after guests, professional and thoughtful. but equally mindful to acknowledge you as they come past which is a great relief to feel you are not being ignored or dismissed. I special thank you to Chelsea who served us. professional, polite and clearly a key member of the team. Considering this is also dog friendly venue and is open every morning for Breakfast, we can definitely see ourselves returning and with friends / family but also with a furry four legged girl. I wanted to treat my 7 year old daughter to a special treat and this did not disappoint. We had an amazing meal and the staff really could not have done enough for us. To top it off on a Wednesday between 12 and 2, during the summer, there are special treats for children and my daughter loved getting done up as a cat. Thank you we loved our special lunch together.

First time visit. Chilled relax atmosphere. Was here around lunch time. Wanted something light so went for Hummus and warm pitta bread and cold coffee. Simple, delicious and filling.

We celebrated our civil partnership here yesterday at breakfast, just a small group but the team at the willow were fantastic. They made us feel welcome and special which was unexpected but lovely. After spending the last 5 + Years trying out all the Restaurants in telford south water this was the last one I needed to try . Honestly I/We was certainly not disappointed. After visiting the red house a couple of years ago for my birthday I didn't no that the willow was linked. Honestly food/service venue Everything from top to bottom was absolutely amazing. Absolute beautiful food service was second to non. We certainly will be back and will certainly be recommending this place to many people in my line of work. Thanks again Chris

My Sister was up visiting from Portsmouth and we wanted to treat her to Dinner Out! We chose Willow due to positive past experiences and it didn’t disappoint!! We absolutely love the decor and atmosphere is this restaurant, our waiter Jack was super attentive and the Food was delicious - Deffo Recommend the Halloumi Skewers!!

A cool and unique looking bar with a relaxing ambience. We visited during lunch time so it was quiet. The staff were friendly. There was a good selection of food choices with vegetarian and vegan options. The prices are reasonable and everyone enjoyed there choices. However, the oreo milkshake was a disappointment and far too watery, even with staff trying to rectify it. We ended up replacing it with a sundae which was delicious. It's worth another visit to try the rest of the menu.

We've been there on Sunday after lunch time. We've been told it's an hour waiting for food but we agreed to that as we've seen other portions and decided it looks very tasty. And also restaurant on its own looks great, very unique, done with great taste. Anyway, lady told us it's an hour waiting time for food. And my question is - why only 4 people on shift during such a busy time? It was sunny Sunday, day before bank holiday and half term. I think some more people should be on shift as by the time we were finishing food not many people left there as tbh who wants to wait for so long for food. Also, cleanliness should become more priority as floor was sticky, especially in toilets. Also I asked for baby changing unit and I was given keys to disabled toilet with no baby changing unit available? Anyway, food was very good, portions quite big as well. So well done to staff for handling such a situation today as I believe it was very tough day for them. And restaurant is fog friendly as well

Second maybe third time here.... Thursday night before Easter bank holiday. A strange bunch of customers gathered by the fire thing.... like star wars cantina bar. The 'DJ' couldn't finish playing a record for more than 50% of the record... or at the right speed. Drinks okay... but they don't keep Jack Daniels ? We were 2 of the 10 customers in there. Dismal

Absolutely amazing night out! Live music was incredible followed by a good DJ. Massive shout out to Duncan and Amy who work there. Duncan helped my friend and I feel safe and he really looked after us. Amy somehow remembered our drink order despite a hugely busy night and was so lovely despite all the silly questions. Thank you all and we will definitely return!

Review is purely for the nightclub. Security was comparable to an airport. Saw a woman refused entry without ID who was clearly in her 40's at least. They scanned my ID and the scan of it appeared on a big TV for everyone in the queue to see? Later they made us queue to go out into the smoking area, which was enclosed and not full. We couldn't take our drinks out there. Considering they are so concerned about our safety, you'd think they wouldn't want us to leave our drinks behind and open to potential spiking. Later on a girl was being sick in the toilets and security wouldn't let me go in there to pee before I went home "for my own safety". I've never been anywhere else so strict on security in my life and I'll unfortunately not be returning as a result. Telford nightlife is already almost non-existent and this is not helping. The DJs were great though. I'll go to the Shrewsbury shed to see them instead.

Annoyed as I got approached by a drunk man who was randomly accusing me of spiking people, which obviously I wasn’t, then when I was explaining to security what happened and to please search me - as I don’t want anyone to think that of me - they wouldn’t. I then proceeded to say to the person accusing me of it that I’m sorry that he’s got the wrong idea of me, then he threatened me and I somehow get kicked out for “agitating the situation” even though I was being calm and polite and a grown man was threatening to “smash my head in”

My son and I have just had the best tasting meal since moving to the area five years ago. The chicken tika starter in a wonder with many different depths of flavour and is the best I have had since moving from Kent. The Korma i had was again very flavoursome and creamy with large pieces of chicken. The garlic naan was also very good. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I will deffinatly be comming back and will recomend this restraunt to anyone reading this review you will not be disapointed.

We (5 of us) have just had the most delicious meal at Tarkawalla. The food was perfectly cooked...our thanks to the chefs. We had a large variety of dishes and every one was beautifully presented and hot. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will be going again and ordering deliveries too. Waste of money. The seats are very comfortable and we come here often, but i cannot help but feel we should have been offered a refund. Visited today with my daughter who was excited. No hot food, not allowed any dispensable drinks, no ice blasts, not allowed millions dispenser sweets, not allow pick and mix sweets, not allowed popcorn, was only allowed to purchase bottled drinks!! Due to a boiler being broken, i understand how it may affect hot food but dispensable ice drinks? Refillable drink machine? Pick n mix? Apparently because they cannot wipe the machines with hot water to clean them, whats wrong with anti bacterial wipes, spray and cloth/towel? What a waste of money, very disappointing. Takes away the whole cinema experience!

I would like to thank your very attentive staff for their friendliness and consideration when my friend and I came to see Downton Abbey. My friend uses a walker and needs assistance so I called in on Saturday to ask some questions and book our tickets. The lady who helped me and answered my questions was really lovely. When we came in Monday the young man checking tickets very kindly showed us to the screen and helped us parking the walker. He was very helpful and approachable. My friend doesn't go to the cinema often because of limited mobility but she will certainly go again now particularly as the seating was extremely comfortable too.

Extremely comfortable seats much comfier than my local Shrewsbury one. Lost a star though due to realy poor selection of Ice cream and chocolate, and only 1 selling tickets and serving. Shame though otherwise would have been great.

Zero stars , Not a great experience for my 15 year old daughter who was rudely spoken too by one of the staff ( Ginger Phil ) , she was asked for ID to watch a 15 film and when she said she didn't have anything Ginger Phil's tone changed and he shouted well you ain't getting in so you have to leave, my daughter tried to explain but he wouldn't listen to her , she then called me upset and I came to sort the issue out with a manager as ginger Phil had already left , after speaking with the manager who was very helpful my daughter was allowed in , I believe Ginger Phil needs to take more customer service training as one of his colleagues mentioned to me he is a problem and it's not the first time he's acted this way .😡

Best cinema around the west midlands area that I've been to. I watched a film in Isense (screen 6) and the screen was crystal clear and the sound was what impressed me the most with clear high and mids but also with a lot of deep bass. The recliners are also a extra on top of all of that making the higher ticket prices more forgivable although I think £21 for a adult ticket is still a little too much. Had an absolute blast here highly recommended!

All seats are recliner, usual food and drink are available as well as alcoholic. There is a Costa coffee and a giant millions pic n mix. If live close and go often get the limitless plus as this means everything movie wise is included for £20. Literally need to watch 2 films to break even. Car park is pretty big but if a popular film let's out everyone is paying their parking at what seems to be the only pay point. This can make leaving a bit of a wait.

First visit. Nice cinema. I sense screen was big and had reclining chairs, with table and drinks holders. Car parking is not FREE.

I always stop next this place to pick up my son at school down the street (it takes between 10 and 15 min) I was just thinking about come and eat at Black Sea exactly this week to celebrate Easter Holiday beginning but now I don’t have any interest just because a lady that said she works at Black Sea was very rude at the parking lot (that isn’t private) and claimed that the place I’ve parked “belongs” to her and I should use the second one. It was quite rude and now because one person I won’t return even close here and I won’t recommend as well.

This used to be a great chippy but it's obviously been taken over by new management. Food is now ok but not great, prices increased but more importantly corners are being cut. Today I was given my food in a different box to the normal ones used for food. A thin folded brown box that when the server added salt and vinegar it ran out of the sides. Walking up the street I nearly lost half the food as the corners of the box are just folded up with nothing holding them together. Obviously not designed with this kind of food in mind and anyone with a bit of sense could see they are not suitable.

Very disappointing experience. The fish was literally swimming in oil, and the fries were far from fresh – they seemed to be kept in a container, waiting to be served as soon as a customer arrives, which meant they were cold, greasy, and some even dry. I also ordered fried chicken pieces, which turned out to be dry and cold. Overall, the fish was oily, and both the fries and chicken were not fresh. To make matters worse, the staff was unfriendly.

Worst fish and chips I’ve ever tried. Fish was dry and either left standing for hours or overcooked. Chips had been refried several times. On the plus side, the mushy peas were nice and the pepsi max was cold! The managers reaction to any negative comment is hilarious. Read the other reviews for entertainment!! Its been couple of years I am in Uk but never tried fish & chips. Yesterday i went to Iron bridge, Shrewsbury and saw this place tried fish & chips I really loved it. Such a nice place to sit outside and enjoy your food. Even the donar kabab was really nice. All the staff members were friendly especially lady owner.

Just popped in whilst visiting Ironbridge, last time we came we stopped by at Darbys and after that experience wasn’t going to go there again! This was total opposite, brilliant service and food was lovely. Three of us and two mini fish and special and a large fish and chips. Portions were superb and meal was superb. Will be back for sure.

Great view, from terrace but that all positives, chips were barely warm, soggy and old, fried chicken was dry, and a fish all covered in excess grease, and grumpy service, got refund for chips but wouldn’t recommend it at all

Lovely chippy, reasonably priced for a world heritage site. Food was great, bought to our table. This chippy also has a balcony, great for sunny days. There was a few dirty tables, otherwise it’s a perfect rating.

Don't normally have fish and chips but thought i would for a change. Ordered the cod and chips value meal with mushy peas to take away. Service good but......peas that intense a dark green that it is bleeding obvious there is a ton of colouring in there and tasted like a load of sugar in them too. Horrible. Fish batter soggy, chips nothing to write home about. Left half of it, poor, poor quality. Will never go there again

We had a wonderful meal of the most delicious fish and chips, kebabs, mushy peas, scrumptious sauces and Mediterranean wraps; all our three generations, grandparents, parents and grandchildren were all happy ! Thank you to the chef and staff for a lovely evening in a lovely atmosphere!

Oh my goodness, had the plaice today, was the best fish meal I have had since I had a whole Dover Sole in Mevagissey in Cornwall many years ago. The fish was cooked to perfection, I don't know how they manage it for the price such excellent value for money. Well done Smithfields.

Absolutely used be nice but lately gone down hill and really expensive that was regular portion for 3.40 and we were given a fresh order but tasted worse than these ones will not be using here again :(

I must take the time to say how impressed I was with this restaurant in Wellington. We had a large ish party and some people needed fast orders to get away. My food was excellent, as were the other dishes ordered by the group. Superb fish, delicious chips, no complaint when we asked for ice tap water. We also enjoyed very attentive service. The trainee girl was helpful and patient, the manager fully appreciative of some dietary requirements. We'll done Smithfield's! Go there people - you'd be hard pushed to find better food and better staff.

Really nice quality food, especially the Gluten Free fish cooked in rice flour. You order ahead and they bring it out to the carpark, alternatively you can go in an order and they bring it out to the car. Excellent service to go with really goid food.

We stopped by after church for a Sunday lunch treat with the kids. The staff was very kind and accommodating. When my son accidentally dropped his burger, they generously replaced it at no extra cost. Truly appreciated the thoughtful service

First time I have visited this particular KFC in a while and tbh it was exceptional! Now I know that’s a big word especially when talking about chicken but as you know KFC can be an unpredictable experience! The food was AMAZING! All fresh, hot and well presented! Not thrown together! All staff who i encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. I was served by a lovely lady called “Kim” who was extremely helpful especially as I had an awkward order. Kim not only served me but also packed my food for me and was efficient in doing so! After having a dreadful order from the Madeley branch a few months ago , I Will definitely be returning to this particular branch in Wellington for any future orders! Defo recommend ! 😛😀

I work over this way at least once a month and it’s always a good experience. Had to do a review as the food is spot on and the staff are friendly and attentive. I started adding a pepper mayo snack wrap with a hash brown and cheese to my order, it’s amazing and the staff always do it without question.

Food was good. We had a boneless bucket. The coating on the fillets were not as good as usual. Had to ask for some items for table service which I would have expected to be provided. Other than these points...everything else was great.

We had a drive through order and were served by Evan. We have to say that Evan was so welcoming, professional, enthusiastic, customer focused and nothing was too much trouble at all, you have an excellent team member there and ambassador for your business. He offered my choices as a meal although I did not require a drink, he gave me another option, which was value for money and well delivered. Well done KFC, the food was spot on, hot and fresh, great customer service indeed.

When in with family for food I was met with a lovely girl called keeley who assisted me with my order as my daughter is autistic and as a very limited diet and very selected with she eats and this lady was amazing and pulled it out the bag and got my daughter eating mash potato will definitely be returning I left one happy customer but one very happy mommy

Probably the best KFC in Telford. By far the cleanest and most welcoming. Staff are lovely food was fresh and hot and the management te seem to know what they are doing.

Although the staff are quite young ( nothing wrong with that ) , they’re very hard workers and extremely attentive. If a mistake happens they always fix it right away with zero fuss. Food comes out quick and hot! Great staff & great chicken.

I visited this branch of McDonald’s at 1:15 AM and was extremely disappointed with the level of service. The staff on duty, particularly the woman serving customers, displayed very poor professionalism. There was no courtesy, no basic customer service, and the overall impression was that customers were being treated as an inconvenience. This is not the standard one would expect from a global brand like McDonald’s. For improvement, I strongly suggest: Better training in customer service and professionalism. Proper supervision on night shifts to ensure standards are maintained. Accountability for staff members who repeatedly fail to deliver acceptable service. At present, the service level is 0/10. If this continues, the reputation of this branch will decline and customers will choose alternatives. I urge management to take serious action to improve night-shift operations

If you're hungry, you’ll get your food – eventually. Just be prepared to wait while the staff finish their personal chats. Service felt more like a routine than hospitality – not a smile in sight. No warmth, no energy, just order, wait, eat, and go. Nothing more to expect here. I really wondered is it a proper quality of mcd. So shame.... rush should not kill satisfaction. I stopped buying from here.

Tables was dirty... the cleaner seemed to of been to busy talking to people while they was trying to eat (the old guy with glasses) ... When you go up because your order is wrong they look at you an treat you like its your fault your order is wrong!

I went through the drive thru and was served 2 bacon rolls that appeared to have been dunked completely in a bucket of brown sauce, and then, just for good measure, both were squashed ensuring that not a single bite was edible as it was just brown sauce mush. Very poor and not done accidentally. Shame on you.

Went to Mcdonalds Donnington and ordered food which didn't all come out asked for the missing items, they asked to check the bags so took them away messed about and re-bgged food by the time was given it it was cold told them I didn't want it I wanted hot food so manager Jon came over and would not replace cold food and had a member of staff laughing behind him, wouldn't replace the food so got a refund but had to get out of my car in the drive thru to go through the front to get money lost 15,000 rewards points and no food. Poor service no management skills and won't bother returning and Jon should not work in the service industry.

This establishment should be renamed McDonald’s Disco because that’s what it’s like when you walk through the door - music blaring so loud you literally can’t hear what the person sitting across from you is saying! My partner rang and I couldn’t hear a word he was saying and had to go outside (as did other people on their phone). I know food establishments play music to stop customers lingering there too long but when you leave with a headache you don’t go back, particularly if you’re a shift worker calling by on your way home. The large sauce dispensers were empty as usual and the bottom gunged up like they’re not washed in-between top-ups - ugh! Also no salt out at 7am. The food is good, though.

A really poor performance from McDonald's here. I ordered a meal through Just Eat from here. I made the order at around 11:15 for a 12:00 delivery. The delivery driver didn't leave the restaurant before 12:30 and when I got my order (it was only to Lilleshall), all the food was cold. It's like they made the order and forgot about it or the delivery driver was late to collect (even though the app said they'd been there since 11:50) If I bother to try it again, I'll be specifying Newport next to see if they can perform better than Donnington.

The worst it’s ever been. Since the renovation it’s got so bad in there. Only went as it’s convenient but I don’t think I will anymore. Rather wait an extra 20 minutes for something edible

I’ve ordered from here several times and the experience is consistently disappointing. They never include sauces, not even the ones I specifically paid extra for. It’s not just a one-time mistake it happens every single time. They also forget basic items like straws how am gonna drink milkshake!!! and sauces, and when you try to call, no one ever answers the phone they never ever answer I ordered a vegetarian burger and they sent me a chicken burger instead, which is completely unacceptable. Very, very disappointed with the service Unfortunately, it’s clear that McDonald’s doesn’t care about their customers anymore. Very, very disappointed with the service

Waited over 15 mins in the drive thru and 10 mins parked up. Kids food was fine but I had basically half a portion of large fries that were like warm and chewy, burger was fine. Really need to speed up the service, car park and drive thru is a terrible design, end up blocking people getting in and out. Probably won't return to this one.

Ordered online for delivery, order arrived with main item missing, they can’t even get an order right. Not the first time this has happened anyone who answers the phone is the manager and they don’t care because you get the attitude. It needs a real manager to check the order before they go out because most of the staff obviously don’t care. Sort your staff out or your business will suffer. Lost me and my family as a customer. Will see if I get my £7.99 refunded.

Anytime of day even if the restaurant itself is quiet the food here is cold, I’ve never waited less than 15 minutes but usually up to 60 mins for “fast food”. Inside or drive thru is the same, it’s literally the worst McDonalds. Avoid.

If you come to this fast food restaurant expecting "fast" food, you've got another thing coming. I waited 25 minutes with staff who ignored me when I tried to talk to them, only to find out that they clearly lost our order. All in all it took half an hour for 2 cold wraps with no apology or explanation.

I order through just eat. I ordered 2 Big Mac meals 2 double cheeseburgers and 20 nuggets came to like 33 with delivery. I only received my 20 nuggets. I have contacted just eat. But when I rang up to try to arrange for me come and collect my missing food. No one could be bothered to answer the phone. I rang them 7 times at least. I am not happy with how they can mess up my order and only give me one item when clearly on my receipt I had more.

Waited by till for an hour on 14th may around 5pm to sort an issue. Seems like delivery is obviously a priority in this store. Ordered food and refused to give me my order and wanted me to pay twice for food I had ordered. Said I ordered to wrong place even though I had proof of receipt. Wouldn't even listen to explanation of what happened and didn't even smile. Really awful service. Been going here as a local for years. Definitely need to sack the lot of them and replace the team if they are leaving customers ignored and making sure their delivery guys get their free drinks and orders fast. Absolute joke. Redhead manager was the one who couldn't sort it out. Looked at us like it was a scam and I've already eaten it. Horrible service. Employ proper employees who can provide satisfying service

Waited 10 minutes for my order which was 1 chocolate milkshake, when I went to the counter to query the rather rude young girl said, “yeah the machines broke, what do you want instead?”. So if I hadn’t approached them, I could have been sat there for who knows how long.

Thought I would give it a go since the change of management. The fish and chips was actually very nice, crispy fish not greasy or stodgy at all. The only thing that would put me off visiting again in the number of young kids not buying food just able to use the place as a hang out, also vaping when they are obviously under age. The management need to keep an eye on this issue as I'm sure it will attract more antisocial behaviour and drive customers away.

Undercooked food, tiny portions!! Went this afternoon only ordering a portion or regular chips. After 15mins of waiting whilst being the only customer I left on my way home - as shown by the first two images, you see the chips are undercooked- hard to the bite, some still cold inside. I returned back to the shop and had a new portion made, I once again waited around 15 minutes until I was shouted to the counter to be shown my new chips, they was again - undercooked? After trying a chip they was put back in to fry due to the new portion being undercooked. Around 5 minutes later I was shouted back over and agreed on the chips, chips was more cooked this time, the odd one was undercooked, however chips was not tasty. They was soft and a very small potion.

Unfortunately the portions were tiny - the fish was half the size of a usual one. The chips were soggy too and tiny amount of mushy peas. Won't be buying from here again

I'm gutted. I loved this chippy since I moved to Telford 7 years ago. I'm Scottish and haven't really enjoyed English chippies because they're so different but I loved this one and even when I moved out of Lawley I'd continue to order from there. So imagine how gutted I am when I order tonight and the food quality is subpar. AND they've sent me the complete wrong food which honestly looks inedible and I'm not being funny but when I order donner kebab meat and chips for literally just shy of a tenner, I expect to get it. Instead I got chicken and it's not something I'd feed my dog. I've tried to ring them over 5 times, no answer. From reading reviews now this seems to be a common thing. Reached out via social media, nothing. I've had to raise it via JustEat and honestly I'm just so disappointed. And still bloody hungry.

DONT DO IT TO YOURSELF!! Food turned up pretty fast, however the half an hour they turned up early they probably should’ve spent that time actually cooking the chicken. Two bites and inside was rubbery and pink in 2 pieces of chicken and the others were dry and overdone. The lettuce was questionable and slimy. How does this qualify as a good food restaurant and isn’t shut down. Delivery man came back I gave him the wrap and he said that it was to do with the feed that the chickens are fed, this wasn’t just a pink Hugh to the chicken it was rubbery pink and raw an Emetaphobes worst nightmare. Propper London style chicken cottage. Only one I could find in shrewsbury or telford!!!! Food was good about £5 for 6 wings and chips with a drink, which is a little steep for what it is, but with price increases its about right. Inside is still being done up with works going on, Service was a little slow compared to a London chicken shop, the wings were already made and I still waited about 10 minutes just for chips and a drink, I also gave the first drink back as there was sauce on the bit you drink from.

It took 40 mins to make a chicken burger that when it came out looked like a 5 year old had made it then tried to serve it in a dirty box, also the two guys I was with ordered pies from the joint chippy and after 15 mins of ordering them they came out stone cold, not a pleasant experience and will never return

Chicken burger was pink inside! It was meant to be a spicy burger but was a normal fillet with hot sauce. I chucked it away as soon as first bite felt off. Looked and saw it was severely undercooked. I have never been before until this visit Saturday 3rd August. I found out today they have changed their name from Chicken Cottage, which was a one star hygiene establishment. This place should be shut down.

Jess and his brother are fantastic, such great customer service from them. They are very calm and relaxed great personality from these too. Great multi tasking and cleaning as they go as fast food places should be kept. Also the older uncle I believe is the franchise owner very friendly too. I have travelled here from London and I plan on visiting again most definitely. Tha m you to you all

My sister ordered through deliveroo, half the order was missing, chips (the ones that did arrive) were cold, soggy and needed salt, sides were cold and the wraps had no flavour, no filling, chicken was cold and again soggy inside. Really poor food and quality, didn’t offer any resolution. Avoid.

Great fish and chips. Very pleasant and courteous staff. Even told us we'd ordered too many chips and volunteered a refund for the difference. Great value and very tasty. Quality cod the size of a dinner plate. Will visit again soon.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely brilliant chippy! I ordered a medium fish and chips and it was spot on – the portion was generous, the chips were tasty, and the battered fish was perfectly crispy. Plenty of salt and vinegar just how I like it, and I got to choose my own sauce – went with curry sauce, which was nice (though maybe could be a touch sweeter or saltier, but that’s probably just personal taste). Prices are really reasonable and the staff were so lovely and friendly. Definitely the best chippy I’ve had in Telford so far – will 100% be back!

The food was decent overall. The chips were a bit on the greasy side, but still edible and hot. Reason for the 3* - I've been served by other staff here before and never had any issues, but the young girl working on my last visit had a real attitude. She was hard to hear behind the plastic at the till, and rather than saying “pardon” when I had to repeat myself, she just snapped “What!” – not exactly welcoming or professional. It's a shame, because the rest of the team have always been fine. The food’s okay for a quick bite, but the customer service definitely suffers when she's on the counter.

Well. Just been into this place and got Small Fish and chips For my 92 year old Father. Unbelievable all batter and a little bit of burnt fish inside.

After looking through other reviews on here, a lot of people said about the customer service been very poor and staff having a attitude I can totally say that is correct a staff member prepared my food and left it on the side for about eight minutes while they’re waiting for my other to be prepared. I questioned that the box was cold and was told that it would be okay and the cardboard. keeps it warm got home just 5 minutes down the road opened my meal that was a congealed blob of a mess all stuck together and cold went back to the chip shop asked for refund as what not fit for purpose to eat was told I couldn’t have a refund as I’ve left the restaurant. I then said I questioned the lady who served me that the meal felt cold and was told it would be okay. It was far from okay and it was disgusting. I have got agree as well with a lot of people on the reviews that the place has gone downhill and with this service and food I’d be surprised if it is still open in six months time and I did not get a refund and just left them with a disgusting meal And out-of-pocket advise anyone not to go there as you will be met with poor Customer Service and a big case of attitude I would give it zero stars if that was possible

Called here as needed something quick after returns from holiday and our usual chippy was shut. Wished we hadn't as the food was terrible. Chips were hard and undercooked, the fish was greasy with limp batter. Pie was ok but it's hard to mess up a bought in pie. Won't be back.

Went in yesterday lunchtime for the first time in years. The lady serving was lovely to us and we sat in to eat. The food was fantastic and we will definitely be back soon.

2nd visit. Whilst the employee is sympathetic and apologetic, the service is quite slow to receive your order from the drive threw. It wasn’t even busy as I drove up to the machine straight away. For this is the reason I have 1 star for service not for the employee. Whopper burger was warm, not piping hot like the fries were, that’s why it’s a 2 star for the food and overall. MUST DO BETTER BK!

Absolutely terrible Burger King restaurant at Rampart way Telford. The reason is every time I go to purchase my whopper standard sized meal ther is always an issue.. The latest being tonight 19-4-25 at 6-53pm I ordered a drive through as above same meal to which I was asked to pay £9.00p exactly & I looked at the sales person & I replied that’s an incorrect charge as I was only here last night & ordered the same meal & was charged £8.89p. I then asked why the over charge & he said it was for sugar tax! I was astounded by this & then decided to show him on my bank app what I actually paid & then he started to ask everyone available to help him. I then explained the same to his other helpers & they said something his ear to which he came back to me & then asked me to pay exactly the same as last night ( £8.89p)! Personally I think for such a large franchise to even attempt to over charge a client is extortionate & should be reported to their Head offices both in the uk & USA! I might just do this..it might seem trivial to some ppl but not to me! Poor Service!!

Worst Customer Service Ever! Ordered on the app, drove to the drive through, nobody answered for 5 minutes so I drove to the payment counter, had to shout to get someone’s attention. I showed him my app order and he said there would be a long wait since they were “busy” (I was the only car in the drive though) he didn’t apologize either. I waited so long someone drove up behind me in the drive though and started beeping at me…..I finally get the food and there’s a burger missing, I have to park my car and go inside the Burger King on foot to get my missing burger. The staff member says nothing to me as I explain the situation, he just hands me the burger and doesn't even apologize, he literally says nothing at all to me! The Burger also has no pickles, no ketchup, no mustard and barley any cheese and it's cold (It was supposed to be two double cheeseburgers, the other one came with mustard but no cheese and no pickles) This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and for this pleasure I paid almost £10

Madeley KFC - Great service and food was nice and timely. Lovely girl named Ruby served me and my nan and she was very patient with her who gets quite forgetful and slow with her age. But she didn’t interrupt her or ask her to repeat it but just treated her with kindness which I thought was lovely.

I want to give a huge shoutout to a staff member named Angel at KFC Madeley. Despite dealing with rude and impatient customers, she remained calm, professional, and kind throughout. We came in when the chicken wasn’t ready yet, and she went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after and informed. You could tell she had had a tough day, especially in the heat , but you wouldn’t know it from the way she treated everyone with respect and care. Angel truly represents what great customer service should be. Thank you for your hard work and for handling a tough situation so well !

Wrong order showed up. As apparently they just as they said they swapped my order with out contacting me.

Absolutely gutted. Ordered a 4 piece meal & was given 4 legs!!

We had the vegetarian breakfast and coffee. Service was prompt, helpful and with a friendly smile. Excellent value, with free refills on the coffee and discount for two. The breakfast was hot, tasty and ample. The dinning area was clean, light and spacious.

If I could give 0 stars for everything I would they didn’t even have forks. Also most of the tables haven’t been cleaned

Did you know that you could get a kid's meal for free when you purchase a meal at Morrison's cafe? It’s a fantastic deal. My son and I look forward to Friday afternoons because we get amazing lunch from Morrison's cafe. My son loved his food.

Useless when comes to delivery orders items missing and no common sense, I'll give you most recent example ordered 3 meals and they sent 1/2 a meal with no drinks, anyone else would have called or canceled the order but they ofcourse think that's acceptable. Really tried to give it a chance as like morrison cafe but tbh will never be going there or ordering again!!

I did not enjoy it atall my yolks in my porched eggs was hard there was a hair in my food and they forgot items off my order. My white was raw my bacon fat was completely raw. Hair image on the tissue

Myself and my wife are regulars at this cafe. For the first time I have fealt that the meal we shared was not worth the money. I had the Chicken Tikka... They charge £6.49 for it in the cafe. Its clearly the microwave meal they sell, for £2.50 on the shop floor. The service today wasn't much better either, decided to make a comment on fact that my son (Has autism), would only eat chips. A lovely roll of the eyes and a scuff from the staff member. Usually, it's an alright experience, today.. not so much. Very disappointed, charging someone £4 extra because you need to put it in the microwave. Shameful.

This is not my regular chippie, and on tonight's experience it's never going to be. My doner meat and chips were the worst I've ever had. So much grease it ran out of the container onto the car seat on the 10 minute journey home. I managed to eat about a third of it before it went in the bin. I wish I'd binned it sooner as I feel quite queasy now.

Always been to the fish and chip shop for years. Fish was always big and excellent. In the past 6 months I have still kept going but the cod is now very chewy. Thought I’d was a one of, but no it is chewy all the time now, never ever experienced this before Old fish ? Cooked too many times ? Frozen and defrosted too many times Will try again later this year before I write this chewy cod place off

Just had an absolutely superb fish and chip delivery the batter was so crispy and nothing was greasy the chips lovely and crispy as well the fish very flakey and tasty is the best I have had in Shropshire

Iam totally disappointed with the service.My daughter is ASD and when she asked for chips and was given chips and cheese,(dairy intolerant)She then plucked up the courage to say it was wrong,the man became quite abrupt and spoke quite unkindly to my daughter. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. I think you need some training in how you speak to your customers. I will not be returning

There are quite a few Kebab shops in Wellington, but this is one of the best. Fresh meat, well prepared and cooked. Very tasty chicken and lamb for a mixed kebab is a treat. The salad is always fresh and crisp. The guys offer a friendly service, good sized portions and value for money with a smile.

Still the greatest kebab in the country! I regret having to move away from Wellington, simply because i will not be able to easily obtain kebabs from this gorgeous place. The chefs always appear genuinely interested in your wellbeing and show gratitude for your service. Great bunch serving amazing food! Strike up a conversation with these guys... it's well worth it! There's a mountain of experience and sense in them.

After along awaited 2 years due to covid and other obstacles, I am glad they are back and I'm ready for some long overdue delicious kebabs. Same fresh tasting quality as before. They are great local family business with great care and attention to their customers they don't forget your face always a friendly warm welcoming service.

Asked for a chicken kebab. When it came to the sauce and salad stage, I spotted a lamb doner kebab!!! Baldy with his air pods in behind says “no you said lamb doner, I’ve been in the game long enough”. I forgot that working in a kebab shop enhances hearing abilities, and that I couldn’t properly verbalise my order (aparebtly). Baldy was adamant that I hadn’t asked for chicken, and probably didn’t care since I had already payed so didn’t change my order. He probably couldn’t hear me and who really cares about customer satisfaction, so I just accepted the extremely average doner kebab (promised to be the “best around”). Thanks to the kind gentleman, I do not have enough time to hit my protein goal for the day. On a positive note, he said he’d give me a chicken kebab next time! Yay.

We have just had an order as our usual place is closed on Tuesday's. This is the 1st and last time I will order from here. The only word that comes to mind is bland. The crispy chilli beef I would have got more satisfaction if I had attempted to eat my slipper. The chow mein was lacking any flavour and very greasy, with no flavour difference between the chicken or the pork and the free prawn crackers when you spend x amount is a 3rd of a bag. Overall a very disappointing experience.

I have ordered food from them several times and it has been of a consistently high standard. Their special curry includes peas and prawns whereas other chinese takeaways in telford do not include them so for what I order , their option is the best. Their chips are heavily salted ( which I like) however if you're watching your salt intake then I would avoid them. Their egg fried rice contains a lot of egg which makes it flavorsome and it's a nice change from egg fried rice that you get at a lot of other places which contains almost no egg and is lacking in flavour. Deliveries are fast and reliable. They say it will be an hour but rarely have I waited longer than 30 minutes which suggests that they say an hour as a generic maximum time to cover themselves. The mean delivery time for me is 25 minutes. To put this in perspective I live 3.5 miles away. The only fault I can find is the delivery drivers, they rarely carry change for common notes. If my order is £10:70 and I give him £20:70 they never seem to have a £10 note or 10, 10 pound coins so instead I have to take some pound coins, some 50 pence pieces and then he has to go and ask the other person in the car for some more change, all the time the food is going cold. overall I would rate 4/5

Delivery time and driver were both fine but the actual food was so bland!! Not sure what its normally like but it tasted like they left all the seasoning out. I seriously have never tasted a chinese with so little flavour....it was just odd!

Sent real chicken satay instead of vegetarian. Cant phone them as the number doesnt work. Not nice to have your daughters meal consisting of only rice because you cant get such an obvious mistake rectified. One to definately avoid in future

My wife and I have been ordering regularly from Tiger Bowl for some time now. Until recently everything was great. However, in recent months we have had one or two issues with them, especially regarding the difference between what is on their online menu through Big Foodie. I have been ordering the Set Menu for 1 (Option A), with Crispy Balls and Sweet & Sour Sauce. On the menu it states clearly that there is a can of Coke as part of the meal. I ordered the meal approximately 1 month before the writing of this review, and when it arrived there was no can of Coke in the bag. I rang up the shop and was told that the can is no longer supplied as part of the meal, if you want a drink you have to pay extra (80p to be exact). After I told them what was on the menu, I was assured that the menu would be updated to reflect the change. Approximately 2 weeks ago, I ordered the same meal, not expecting a can to be included, even though the menu still stated that a can was part of the meal. The food arrived, and this time there was a can included at no extra cost. Tonight I have just had the same meal again, the menu still says a can is included in the price. But because of the issues in the past month or so, I decided to order a 1.5 litre bottle of Coke (at a cost of £2.00). When the food arrived, there was no sign of any drinks at all, and when I queried where my drinks were with the driver, all I got was "Huh?". I repeated the question, eventually he understood what I was asking and went to the car to find my drink(s), not finding them he cam back towards me saying something about them ringing the shop. I stepped back into my home to put the food down while he was supposedly doing this, and I heard the car starting to maneuver, and when I went to see what he was doing, all I saw were his tail-lights as he drove away. I rang the shop, and was told again that the can is not part of the order, but to be fair the guy running the place tonight he did say he would send out both the can and my missing bottle of Coke. He then took it upon himself to deliver the drinks, rather than making me wait until another driver could come out. Again he confirmed that no drinks come with the set menu meals and that he thought that the menu on Big Foodie's web site had been updated, and that since it obviously hasn't, he was going to get back in touch with them to get it changed. He also assured me that he is going to have a word with the driver. So for now they get 4 out of 5 stars from me. If I get no more problems from them I might consider putting it to 5/5.

Tiger Bowl used to be fantastic but lately the food had gotten worse. Why? I don't know! The service is usually bang on but their drivers seem to have been replaced with local village idiots. Todays driver surpassed himself. Despite being given directions and land marks to an address they've already delievered to on several occasions he got lost. He phoned me three times and despite me giving clear instructions and walking up the road to meet me he still got lost! When he eventually got on to my street he still delivered to the wrong house and according to a neighbour stood there for 10 minutes chatting on his phone and drinking an energy drink with the foot left on the roof of his car. When he decided to call me he still got lost walking down the street! His manners were pretty poor to say the least. By the time I got the food it was ages late and cold. I wont be ordering from Tiger Bowl again. Dreadful experience.

I just wish you could add photos on here. The food was delivered 30 minutes after ordering and when my son bit into his battered chicken ball there was raw chicken inside. He was horrified, Absolutely disgusting! I will not be recommending these to anyone or ever placing another order.

So the food was nice, I am not here to complain about the quality of food, bar the spring rolls, they literally had no filling whatsoever. The portion sizes are an absolute joke! I should have been given half price because I only got half the food! Like, who only half fills a container and tho me that’s acceptable. Never again.

Chicken in the sweet and sour Cantonese was very tough, very hard to cut and chew. Sweet and sour balls were very measley in size for the price and the sweet and sour sauce in general wasn't very nice which you didn't get much of either making the food dry. Only thing decent was the chips. Not going here any time soon.

Read some reviews that said about poor portion size and not much meat in chow main. But I couldn't disagree more! Great quality and quality and had a big ratio of mean in my chow main. It tasted amazing, and the price was pretty decent, too. Guy behind the counter made me laugh, gave us wooden folks and we asked if they had any chopsticks. He said no, and was genuinely shocked that someone would ask for them instead of a folk 🤣

Very pleased with the food here, quality excellent and flavoursome. Some people mention portion sizes but I found it adequate and I'm a big eater. Usually use a Chinese nearer me but definitely worth the extra drive.

Spicy chicken wings, only top 2in end used covered in thick hard breadcrumbs. Veggie burger hard, and dry. Potato wedges substitutwssed for plain cold chips. Everything delivered was cold and inedible. No tea, all had to go in the bin. Big dissapointment .

Said it was a fake review it's not I've been using them for 8 years on the phone they spoke to me like a child tried to order what I normally do and they said they don't do it. My only come to £8 and they didn't deliver that's okay I would of ordered more but I didn't appreciate how they spoken to me so after 8 years unfortunately i won't be using them again learn to talk to people with respect next time they must of changed customers services or something because they used to be lovely food is nice but they even talk to their reviewers like shit if you look at others.

By far the best food place in madeley always polite, friendly and welcoming. Place is always clean and tidy and the menu is easy to read never had any issues with the food always hot and served well. Great team behind the counter 👍🏽 keep going guys brilliant job.

Had small fish chips and peas..... first time and last time here tbh was mediocre.... fish was ok bit greasy.... chips weren't great portion was good size but think he gave me all the bits at the bottom .... asked for plenty of salt and vinegar but one a them chippy's where you can't actually taste the vinegar 🙄

The amount of money I just spent here (over £20) I made my order ran to aldis and came back to my food done. I paid I leave I get home to find the portion sizes are so small. Since when has a small bag of chips been a small cone? My large bag of chips don't even look as big as a regular bag of chips. I brought to feed a family of 5 and have ended up feeding 3!! My curry sauce was half full. The fish was nice and food quality was OK. But the portion sizes that's criminal. Spend money to be left sort to feed people I'm really shocked with the portion size. And apparently according to the tall man " you get what you pay for " and to be honest over £20 you would expect better portion sizes!

Literally this place deserves a 6 or a 7 star rating. Making this our local now. Simply the best Meat & Onion Pie and Chips ever had. Came here a couple of weeks ago and the food was excellent too. Definitely best place for Fish and Chips in Telford without a shadow of doubt.

Chips were very plane definitely needed more salt just tasted like potato. Also the two jumbo sausages were not the best I've had worse but definitely had better! Not somewhere ill be going to again anytime soon

Popped into Silver Fish on Tan Bank today on recommendation of a work colleague and what a joy. Food was fresh, piping hot and absolutely delicious. The best Scampi and chips in the area, so good I'll probably go back tomorrow and try something else. Well done guys 👏👏👏

My husband went into the restaurant, placed his order then received an important phone call. As he had placed his order, he left it with the team member and took the call. When finished on the call he returned and the team member had prepared and packed the order. However, the order was wrong in the most devastating way. The colleague had not put the correct sauces and salad on…our daughter has an egg allergy and he had put mayo on all the items!!! My husband paid and took the order not knowing, it was lucky I checked! Now I cannot contact the store as the phone just rings out! I ordered a double meat salad with no cucumber and Caesar sauce but got mayo and cucumber! And there was more lettuce and definitely not double meat. DO NOT ORDER HERE

Standard quality of food as expected at a Subway, but especially appreciated the friendliness and level of service (with a smile 😊) from the staff serving. Would be great to see outdoor seating as, after a long spout of cold and wet weather, we had a warm, partially sunny afternoon and would've just topped off a lunch outing for me!

Came here the other day with my mom for lunch as we were out shopping, okay location just the parking can be hard to find a space to be fair, unless you park on Morrison's car park then it can be hard to park. Good service even if they forgot to cook the hash browns, but was quick service and happy to help etc. We took it away and enjoyed it and would recommend this subway over the others, they had the bread in stock etc. My mom enjoyed hers as well which is good as she's a fussy eater as well. Subway have stopped doing the subway melt as well which is my favorite sandwich have so have to pay more for it now which is the only annoying point, so feels like they are forcing me to buy other sandwiches which don't want.

Large Subway store with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Scanner not working so unable to use Subway Rewards or earn points. Food was as accepted but the toilet is grim - don't think it has ever seen bleach it's so stained and there is a vile toilet brush in the corner, makes you wonder how thoroughly the rest of the store is cleaned.

Very rude and argumentative staff. I have been to this subway multiple times in the past and have never had an issue. I always get the BMT sub, they ask what salad and sauce I’d like and then I pay. I went in today around 1:50pm to get 2 different sandwiches and I was asked what salad I wanted on the one sub (for my partner) and then the staff member put the salad on the other sub (mine) without asking. He had put onion on my sub, which I am allergic to however I felt too awkward to say anything so I paid and left. I was not given a receipt on payment either. I asked my partner to go back in right away with both subs (which were both warm, to show I had just ordered them) and explain what happened for them to re-make my sub with the correct salad, as I felt too awkward to do it. The lady who was working asked for a receipt and my partner explained that we weren’t given one and that the subs are still warm as we only just ordered them. He explained that I was allergic to onions and she was argumentative and said the sub came with the salad as standard. My partner continued to explain that we understand that however that has never happened before where they just put the salad on. She re-made the sandwich however she was arguing with the partner the whole time and her customer service was appalling. The main issue wasn’t the fact they put the salad on as standard, it was the attitude of the server and her lack of understanding that I couldn’t have the sub due an allergy. Customer service today was horrific and we won’t be returning to that subway for a while.

The store is very environmentally friendly and it is made from recycled wood. Inside it is very spacious and clean. The staff weren't that attentive when we arrived.

Avoid if you want to claim any rewards or offers. Scanner not working for over a month so you can not get your points and when you try to claim missing points via app it doesn't seem to work. Store should have a clear sign for customers to see advising scanner not working before they order!!

DO NOT order from here for delivery, they are spectactularly incompitent, giving you the wrong order, even at a basic level. Even then, the delivery is almost always 1/2 hours later than actually stated so expect stone cold food when you get it. Completely terrible. Also, the "Chicken Nachos" are probably the most basic and disgusting food I have ever ordered, so avoid at your own discretion.

Nicely laid out. Good friendly service. Wifi for working on your computer works well and hassle-free. Well worth trying, my favourite Subway to date.
