The 50 best cheap eats in Upper Bavaria

Good to have different tastes of burgers and be full. Burger buns were good, but not crusty. Mini Salad and sweet potato fries were tasty. Truffle mayo also really good. We were sitting outside.

We dropped by in the afternoon and decided to share a platter of three burgers – two meat-based and one vegetarian. The pulled pork burger stood out with bold flavor, juicy texture, and a well-balanced profile. The chicken burger also held its own, fully deserving its spot on the burger stage. The veggie burger rounded out the trio nicely and hit all the right notes for my partner. The side salad was fresh and well-dressed – simple, but satisfying. The sweet potato fries? A perfect match. And the house-made ketchup? Definitely worth a warm shout-out. With two bottles of water and tip, we landed around 35 euros total – which, for the heart of Munich, is more than fair. If you’re in the mood to sample a bit of everything, served in well-executed portions, this is a solid go-to.

Decided to visit here because I had a friend that eats gluten-free. We arrived without a reservation but could find a place outside. The concept is fun and interesting, but the food is only ok (french fries were delicious tho!) . Overall a nice place if you need gluten free or vegan options. P.s the water is way too expensive

The burgers can be made gluten free and they were really good too! Surprisingly the small portions are enough. It was a bit crowded, because it’s a popular place.

We really liked the concept of being able to try two or three small burgers instead of committing to one big one – it’s a fun idea. Unfortunately, the execution didn’t quite live up to the promise. The chicken burger was very chewy, the pulled pork was the best of the bunch, and the bacon cheeseburger was fine but nothing special. In the end, we felt like we would have preferred one really good burger instead of three mediocre ones. On the positive side, the sweet potato fries were absolutely fantastic, and the truffle mayo was a highlight as well. Service was friendly and attentive. Sitting outside was pleasant, though currently a bit noisy due to construction work next door. Overall: a creative concept, but the quality of the burgers could be improved.

the concept of mini burgers is super nice, we loved trying out different ones without the trouble of choosing :) bread was a bit dry but the food was nonetheless delicious! loved the ones with leberkäse & goat cheese + the fries were perfect!

Happy and satisfied with today’s meal. The Schnitzel was very tasty; if you come hungry, I recommend ordering the pork one as it comes in a large portion, and pairing it with the potatoes shown in the picture. The service was very pleasant, which made the meal even more enjoyable. I’m not giving five stars because, although it was good, it wasn’t an experience that left me speechless.

Steinheil 16 – A Must-Visit for Schnitzel Lovers in Munich Pork schnitzel has been one of the dishes I’ve been looking forward to on this trip — and Steinheil 16 didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere is cozy and lively, perfect for gathering with a small group of friends (no more than 4 people), since finding a table can be tough. Reservation is highly recommended — walk-in chances are quite low. We booked for 5:30 pm on a Sunday but arrived early at 4:00 pm and waited about 30 minutes for a walk-in table. The restaurant was completely packed both inside and outside, which already told us how popular this place is. We ordered the pork schnitzel with potato salad and curried sausage. The schnitzel was absolutely worth the wait — thin, crispy, and delicious. But the portion is huge — definitely bigger than what most Asians could comfortably finish in one sitting. The curry sausage was superb too, a little on the salty side, but it pairs perfectly with beer. Interestingly, we seemed to be the only Asian guests in the restaurant, which is a good sign that this is a local favorite spot rather than a tourist trap. If you’re in Munich and want a truly local schnitzel experience, Steinheil 16 is a must-try. Just make sure to book ahead and come hungry. (It costs us 36.4 euro this meal)

We were here with #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet and some friends. Steinheil 16 was recommended to us because we were looking for a restaurant where we could eat a good schnitzel. And yes, the schnitzels are large, delicious, and reasonably priced. We can only hope that it stays that way. So, the food and drinks—delicious Augustiner on tap—were great because they were nothing special and prepared as well and as low-fat as possible. It tasted really good. Praise from everyone to the kitchen! Because done! And the service? Excellent, because it was cheerful and attentive, recognizing that children sometimes need more time and asking guests if they would like anything else. Nowadays, it's often the case that guests have to ask for something to happen. Here, it's different. And the location? Good. Cozy, and there's also a terrace outside. And it wasn't as loud as everyone always says. It was fine the way it was. It was a pleasant and enjoyable evening for everyone. We can highly recommend Steinheil!

Amazing schnitzel specially for the price. Great value for money, plus it’s huge! Would 100% recommend going here, it’s one of my favorite restaurants in Munich. Plus the waiters are always super friendly!

On a trip and learned a lot of places in Munich are closed on Mondays but Steinheil isn’t! Clearly labeled vegetarian and vegan options, generous portions, excellent beer, and great service (everybody spoke English and was very friendly, appreciated our attempts at German). I got the curry (vegan) and my friends ordered the pork schnitzel. Highly recommend!

Nice restaurant vibe. They have patio and indoor seating. That time was busy and im by myself so i seated at the bar. Ordered turkey schnitzel and it was good. It comes with salad as well. The staff was friendly. Recommend to dine here, worth the price

The food is delicious, with generous portions – we couldn’t finish everything. The Steinheil schnitzel with roasted potatoes was tasty; the pork was a little bit tough, but that’s to be expected with pork. No reservation was necessary.

A nice pizza restaurant. You can sit out front but are squeezed in next to lots of other people. They have a big selection of pizzas and cater for vegetarians and vegans too. I tried a vegan pizza and it was pretty good. The service was okay. For 2 pizzas and 2 beers the bill came to €36 which I thought was great value.

The worst service ever ! There is no politeness in the staff . It was crowded in evening and we settled for 1 table just to get a drink first and thought could move to bigger table once it gets free . The waiter was rude and did not even felt like he hates working there and taking his frustrations out on customers. Next comes the pizza which was La Norma , I have had this pizza not he same restaurant a few times but I think In the last 6 months , the quality as well as the service has degraded rapidly . High time

Location: it is in University area, walk distance from U-Bahn, usually not easy to find parking spots on the street. (4) Environment: they have huge area outside, I think it would be wonderful in summer. Inside area have lots of photos on the wall, and lots of space nearby the window. (4.5) Food: I have nothing to complain. Wouldn’t say it’s excellent food, but it is okay Italy food. (4.5) Service: the stuffs are nice, kind, friendly. (4.5) Price: nothing special. Average price for Munich, not expensive. (4.5) Overall: 4.4 I can imagine to go back sometime.

I've eaten here twice; the first time I had a pizza and it was quite good, but the second time I had the truffle pasta and it was quite disappointing (watery and no taste), especially given the price. The portion was also small. Staff are nice and the atmosphere is decent.

Korean resto with delicious authentic food and low prices. In the picture you can see the Yukesang and the KimChi Cigge. This portion cost 16,5 euros. The service was rather impolite, but the food made up for it. Spicy! Only cash. Limited dine-in space.

Great family owned place. Authentic and at the same time local high quality ingredients. Great prices (and no card payment). Very fast service. Any meal can be a comfort food if you don't add the spicy sauce. Very clean toilet

This is not my 1st time visiting this small restaurant. The food taste is OK, the rice portion is more than before. I order the sweet & sour chicken, good. And the taste of Bibimbap with beef was not so good, a bit cold. Overall the food quality and price is reasonable. U can try it if need a quick meal.

There was a lot of yelling by the lady which was very authentic. Food was delicious, the menu could be improved. No side dishes were provided which is a - The food came out quick but the prices were too much. All in all, good!

Food is okay if we compare with price. Self service and no card payment is possible. It is the best place to have an ordinary Korean food with cheaper price.

This used to be one of my favorite places to go. Formerly: Affordable prices (7-8€ per dish), unprecedentedly fast service, big serving sizes to fill stomachs of hungry students and really delicious food. Meat came from a reliable source (one doesn’t know where the meat is obtained these days – the advert was removed…). Albeit the taste is still good since January 2024 serving sizes were drastically reduced to a point where one can barely get saturated nor satisfied (they changed their cutlery as well) and the prices went up by about two to three euros per dish including the sides. Really sad about this development!

Generally not bad. The flavor is not quite stable but sometimes it can be good. Slow service. Cozy atmosphere. Free mango pudding. We ordered 12pc pork gyoza and a bowl of rice noodle (spicy and sour) soup with sauerkraut and lamb. Gyoza was okayish. Some pieces were burnt. The sweet chilli and sesame sauces did not go well with the pork gyoza in my opinion. I prefer dipping it with sour sauce so we asked for an additional sauce dish and made our dipping sauce with the black vinegar and soy sauce. The soup was not bad. The other times I ordered this dish were better. This time the soup was too peppery. The ground pepper was added too much. It overpowered everything in the soup. I couldn't taste the sourness from the chinese sauerkraut one bit. I tasted a bit of fermented soy bean, which I like. The lamb was tender but I couldn't taste the flavor of the meat so much because of the pepper. I normally visit a place more than once before writing a review. Unfortunately this time Gyoza bar didn't leave a good impression like the other times as we waited 25 mins to be served and the food was too peppery and some was burnt. I can see the staff putting effort in this restaurant. However, two staff (1 cook and 1 server) are not enough to operate the restaurant in a busy time like dinner. Short of staff can lead to slow service, drop in food quality and possible mistakes. I will revisit and if the flavor is consistent and the service is improved, I will definitely write an update.

The food was soo good Home made fresh baozi and also the owner was so sweet to gave also a mango pudding as a dessert 🥰

The food can definitely improve: We cannot determine which gyoza is which. For context, we had a mix flavored eight-pc gyoza and a 12-pc beef gyoza. 🥟 The gyoza had no ginger-y 🫚 and scallion taste. Oh, and the filling sticks quite well to the wrapper unlike the usual crumbly, porky 🐷 filling. Sweet chili and peanut sauce for the gyoza? 😅 Frozen gyoza here, not sure if they ran out of fresh ones since we ate there at past eight in the evening. The bao was bland I doused it with sriracha. Where is the porky, chive-y taste? In my country, this kind of bao is called “fried siopao” thus takes the bao game a notch higher. Maybe I just expected a lot? 😩 The mango pudding is so cute. So small! Can taste the coconut 🥥 more than the mango 🥭. Saving grace? The food sure is filling and inexpensive.

Great place to get braised pork belly! Went there on a Sunday afternoon with a few of my friends for lunch. The location was not so far from the subway station Theresienstraße and the place is small but cozy enough. They have a handful of dishes in their menu… a few rice dishes, noodle soups, dumplings, etc. If I still remember correctly, they have around four or five tables and also a long bar table with around eight bar stools to seat on. Me and my friends all ordered the braised pork belly with rice because one of my friends has been here and he said that the braised pork belly here is great. The price to portion ratio was great, it was 8.50€ per portion and it was enough. The pork was sliced into thin rectangle pieces and was braised well enough. For a few of my friends it was too sweet but for me it was just right… delicious! It was served with rice, a whole boiled egg, and a few strands of Bok Choy. Although I dont think they really care about the presentation of the food as they served mine with the sauce all over the sides of the bowl (look at the picture in this review) and the pork belly was definitely not beautifully plated or anything, just laid there on the rice, but anyways at the end of the day for us normal customers, it is the taste that matters the most. A great thing was that we were given complimentary mango pudding after we finished eating and it was delicious! An unfortunate thing that we realized was that since the kitchen was just probably two meters away from where you are eating and the place is small, the smoke coming from the kitchen was felt in a way that all of our clothes smelled like food and one of my friend’s eyes were tearing a bit because of it and so on. Overall a good place to eat in. Would love to comeback and try their Gyoza!

I came with such high expectation but I was really disappointed. The gyoza wasn’t authentic Japanese gyoza. It should be called pan fried dumplings instead. The filling was mushed then lumped together. The flavor was lacking. The choices of dipping sauces were also questionable apart from the Chinese black vinegar. The saving grace were the price and super friendly service. Got mango pudding on the house.

The food was more or less fine, but VERY little for that price. For 10/11 € we got very small portions of rice and fish on top. Also we got only wooden chopsticks (not reusable) and the woman looked very angry when we didn't order any drinks... Even though we were the only customers. She was also unhappy when didn't wanna pay cash :D

The shop is presenting the Japanese flag, outside they promise authentic Japanese food. So we stepped in and were greeting in Japanese. No answer. From the counter an elder lady was calling "German only" . The tables are very tiny and very ugly. It looks like a 50 year old countryside restaurant in a very poor area. The menu card was offering American style of Japanese food. Where is the authentic Japanese food they promise? The flavour was........every convenient store or supermarket in Japan is offering better food than we got served here. And they offer for much lower price! I don't know what part of restaurant should be Japanese, we couldn't find anything Japanese, only the flag outside and on the menu card.

This place sucked. Foot was old or seemed old. It’s ran by Chinese. Not Japanese. They’re rude too. I would not recommend it here at all.

Lovely tiny restaurant for a quick lunch. Price is good, food is delicious, the broth of ramen is delicious and rice with tempura shrimps is tasty but the portion is normal very small and sometimes the waitress lady is quit unfriendly

I haven’t found a decent sushi place in Germany since moving here. The quality that you get for the price that you pay is reasonable. Would highly recommend if you would like good sushi!

I got impressed by this place. The relationship between price and quality is very good. Ramen was good, very tasty. And the sushi was cooked in a delicate way. Pieces were small enough to enter in the mouth in a comfortable way and fish was sliced thick. Maybe the rice grain was a little bit too small for me, but still I liked it. Local looks clean, small but good looking. And the waitress was polite and fast. Well done.👍👍

Very nice Japanese restaurant. The U udon and soup are very delicious. Simple indoor decoration but the foods are good. Someone comment the attitude of a staff is not that good. I agree partially. It may be because of busy. They have so many orders and all the orders are freshly made. It worth to go if u love Japanese food.

I went there for drinks only, so I can't comment on good...we ordered French fries which were okay. Service was quick and they speak English. Ambience was how it sho be in any Irish bar. We ordered cocktail sex on the beach... which was good. Overall nice place

I enjoy the waiters speaking English, that's fun. But I think 17€ for fish and chips is way too expensive, especially because the chips were just frozen ones. Also, is Guinness supposed to taste watery? The atmosphere is nice too, and it's cool how many different events there are!

One of the best pubs in town to go to, especially to watch sport events! Great food, also vegetarian, wide range of drinks (not just one brand of beer as it is so often the case in Germany), beautiful interior and a wonderful atmosphere!

Great bar in the heart of Munich. I went on a Saturday for drinks with a few friends. Prices are great for food and drinks. Great variety of beer and shots. Also, you can okay darts and watch all sorts of sports games - they have many TV’s. Overall, great vibes. I can really recommend stopping by for a pitcher of Tegernseer Beer ☺️

Great Bavarian vibe. Located near the English Garden, it was a pleasant surprise and a nice little stop. The staff was young and friendly; the food was fresh – the menu is limited to just a few dishes, but everything was very tasty. The terrace is wonderful during the summer.

Went walking around the English Garden and most places were closed. I wanted to try some Wurst before we left to Barcelona. I saw there was an event and ask if this was the place and they told me it was private. Went inside and asked about it and they told me only the outside patio was closed. When asked if we can eat inside since there were some seats available, they told me coldly, no only outside(there was no space outside). We were in Warsaw, Krakow, Berlin, but this was the only place in Europe we didn’t feel welcomed. The Weinbauer a couple of blocks was definitely the warmest place in Munich, go there for true Bavarian Germany hospitality.

Great spot for lunch. We sat outside on cute tables and chairs and had beers with our food. My first ever Curry Wurst and it was great - would love to revisit next time I'm in Munich.

5stars for the experience, it is a truly good one to stop and eat at this place. It’s small and cozy, decorated in a way that makes one think they’re not in Munich anymore. The food is good and the price is fair, the service was friendly and kind. Would not suggest to go in a larger than 6 group, as their sitting space is not so large but apart from that, a definitely stop if you want to chill :)

This place offers decent curry and other sausages in good quality, including some vegetarian options. Prices are a bit high. Staff is friendly. Service can be a bit slow on busy days. It's in an adorable house, just one street away from Schwabing's main strip. You can sit down in the super cute and cosy garden or in front.

Great falafel, not too greasy and full with flavor as original recipes from the Middle East. I have tried many other stores in Munich and those falafel’s are either too greasy or just small and rather tasteless. The owner is rather shy and very friendly once you start talking to him . I find it hard to understand the low ratings here based on whatever it is. As if the standard service here in Munich is of such high level! In short: great food, hygienic store and friendly service! The fact that someone is not so talkative does NOT mean he is unfriendly. The Tabouleh is also great btw!

The only good thing about the place was the hygiene. The person was not at all hospitable or welcoming on arrival, despite me greeting him nicely. He was quite happy to greet and smile at other guests on their arrival. The falafel was completely devoid of good quantity of salad or veggies, and was completely dry. Struggled to finish the entire thing. On asking for a take-away bag, he gave such a dirty look as if someone asked for his kidneys. I'd avoid this place in future.

Great hummus & love their falafel !

We had a really good time at Xaver’s: the food was good, the service was kind (although we had to wait long for our dishes, but the place was crowed, it’s understandable). I also really liked the interior: very cosy! The price is a bit higher than average (Schnitzel around 35€, we ended up paying 50€pp) and the food was good but maybe not such a great quality/price ratio. Overall still recommended, but possibly not the most convenient.

A local we met on our flight to Munich recommended Xavers to us for an authentic dining experience- and we were NOT disappointed! The food, ambiance and service all exceeded our expectations! So much fun with our server Andre! He explained the menu- and gave great recommendations! Loved it and will def visit again on our next visit!

The service was fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke English really well, which was a huge help for us. They even gave us some fun spots to explore around town. The food was absolutely delicious! We tried the Bavarian Duck and Weinerschnitzel. The duck had a fantastic sauce and a hearty portion with tangy cabbage and riced potatoes. The Schnitzel was light, salty, and had a really great cranberry sauce to dip in for a new flavor. And of course, the beers on tap were amazing! The Helles was crisp and delicious, and my wife said she had one of the best Reislings of her life. This was our first stop in Munich, and it will definitely be hard to top.

Fast, tasty, very cheap. 5,50 Euro for a bowl where only the chicken is around 3 Euro worse is a bargain. If u wanna eat in comfort, go to the end of the S-Bahn platform, empty and quiet.

Really good pani puri. Last time we visited only samosa was available. So this time went all the way only for pani puri. Luckily was available. Nice spicy with no compromise on flavor. Not extra sweet or anything. Would definitely visit next time Only issue is eating pani puri difficult as no table and pani in glass. standing tables would be really good.

Tried Rice with Mutton curry today which is available only on Saturdays. It tastes very good. Would recommend everyone to try it if you like Mutton and not Lamb.

Hidden at the Isartor, Chat Junction is a tiny, adorable gem serving really flavourful Indian street food. I stopped in for a samosa chaat and a cup of chai, and both were absolutely bursting with flavour; a perfect, satisfying treat. As an added bonus, it is conveniently located right next to an Indian grocery store, making it a fantastic spot to grab a delicious bite and then pick up some spices or snacks to take home.

The food was very very tasty! We took lunch box menus with masala chai. To our disappointment they didn’t provide us a student discount due to the national holiday :((( very sad

Their Samosa Chat is authentic and very tasty and Mango lassi is not super sweet. But you may not find other dishes like Dahi Vada all the time. They have also phased out Vada Pav. Overall a good place to grab a quick bite but be prepared to wait in a line.

Absolutely delicious food! I tried the Samosa Chaat, Mango Lassi, Dahi Papdi Chaat, Dahi Vada Chaat, and the Lunch Box menu : Matar Paneer and Rice — everything was packed with authentic Indian flavors. The taste was spot-on, fresh, and flavorful, just like you'd expect from a good Indian kitchen. The Mango Lassi was perfectly balanced, and the chaats were tangy, crunchy, and refreshing. The Matar Paneer lunch box was comforting and satisfying. Prices are very reasonable, making it great value for money. The only downside is that there's no dine-in option — it's strictly takeaway. But if you're looking for great Indian taste on the go, this place is definitely worth it!

Food was okay but the guy took advantage of me only being able to speak English and charged me more than what was written on the sign despite me reading from Google Translate so was a rude experience. I wanted to support a local business and not the tourist spots but this leaves a sour taste.

The food was really good, no complaints there! But I did notice that staff were handling both money and food with the same hands and no gloves. For hygiene reasons, I think it’s important to keep those separate. Hope they can improve that part.

This is a great poke joint with nourishing food. Wide variety of selection from proteins to toppings. Also they make specialised seasoning that are fantastic. Their drink selections nicely complement the food. Overall it’s a great place to grab a bowl, sit outside and and enjoy some good company. I definitely would visit this again and recommend it.

My husband and I returned back to our hotel after a long train ride and wanted a quick but healthy meal. Aloha Poke was the perfect choice. The service was incredible and the food was exactly what we were looking for. I HIGHLY recommend checking this spot out if you’re in the area. It was my favorite meal in Munich.

Very bad food and even worse service! We ordered 2 mischpoke. Everything was tasteless except for the sauce. The salmon, the shrimp, even the mango. But the worst thing was the service. There was a mix up and we ended up with regular size bowls but we wanted to get the large ones. So we ask for a change and they told us “there is nothing we can do”. We would pay more of course so I guess they don’t need the money??? Can’t believe places like this one are still open. Not recommended!!!

Amazing pokebowls! There are six house suggestions for pokebowls that you can choose from, or you can even create your own pokebowls. I had the Mischpoke with honey soy dressing and it was very delicious and all the ingredients were all super fresh. Next time I will create my own one!

Delicious cheap soup and curry’s - recommend for a quick lunch

There was only 1 vegetarian option when we came for a late lunch. It was not bad at all. Pretty good value since we didn't expect orders come with rice. PS: no toilet available for customers.

We recently visited Munich and enjoyed two lunches at Muenchner Suppenkueche (Soup Kitchen) branches including their original branch at Viktualienmarkt as well as this branch in the modern commerical complex along Sendlinger Strasse. Opening hours are 9am to 6pm daily (closed on Sundays). Same great soups served up at this Muenchner Suppenkueche as well as a few prepackaged salad and sandwich options. There is a small section of indoor and outdoor seating. One of the things we liked about this branch was that there was no queue when we arrived at lunch time. This is much unlike their original branch which seems to always be very crowded. During this lunch we enjoyed the same order we took at their original branch a few days earlier, a bowl of Carrot, Coconut & Ginger soup as well as the Chili Con Carne. Both tasted flavourful and delicious, perfect for the cold winter days of December. Would gladly repeat a meal at this Muenchner Suppenkueche the next time we are in Munich.

I've been living in Munich for 6 months and I come back to this place literally all the time. I love this place. Romantically. The pizza is always delicious, it's always fresh (coming out from the oven right in front of your eyes) and it's super affordable for a quick bite when you're on the go. After our visit to the Isarinsel festival, we grabbed a few slices of pizza here with #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet. And because pizza here is baked from spelt dough and is gluten-free, this pizzeria is in demand. First you queue for twenty minutes. As time goes by, you get hungrier and hungrier, hihi, and then you see the delicious and large slices of pizza. In addition to margherita, there's salami, vegetables, rocket, salmon and much more. We found the pizza very tasty afterwards when we ate it opposite the old Gasteig in the evening sun. The prices were also ok and the atmosphere was great. You can not only buy pizza at the window, but also sit inside and outside at the table in front of it. We can only recommend this place!

There were plenty of pizza choices. I tried Margarita, Tuna, and Oyster Mushroom. I really liked the Margarita and Oyster one. The price was good for its size.

Yummy thin crust pizzas, I love their 'half and half pizza' recommendation, it's one of the best and most unique. You get to taste 2 different pizzas at lesser cost. Their pastas are also delicious.

Service was not good our server never looked at us when he got our order. You can tell he was annoyed. It was busy when we got there. My pizza was huge and the dough was really fresh and good.My husband got the spaghetti and he said it was not too good on flavor. We are not from the area so we will probably not return to this place.

I got served a decent time and the food was good, however, it took almost hour for someone to come so I can pay. I asked several waiters if I can pay and they all said “I will tell my colleagues” like why is it only one person that has a card machine?

I was there with my Wife and two kids. In front We were waiting for a long time. Nobody was there to receive us. After a long time one person came and ask, did we reserve before, if no we have to sit outside. Although the behind of the restaurant was completely empty.It seems like we went there without reservation, it's a crime. The way he was talking to us, it was totally unacceptable. I am also working in a gastronomy. Such kind of behaviour I can't even imagine in my restaurant. So finally I left the restaurant with my kids in empty stomach. I hope the management of losteria will take care of their guests and welcome properly. Thanks

Donar is average. I personally didn't like the bread and veggies/salad was not that fresh. Shop is too small and crowded to handle 10+ people. First you need to pay and then you can get your item to eat. There's long queue, waiting time is around 20 mins. They only accept cash. NO CARD payment accepted. You can also find beer, cold drinks to drink.only chicken and turkey mix stuff they have.no beef or pork. You can take away or eat outside. I have attached price list and few more pics. Been a while since I came here last so decided to get lunch here. I had a burrito carnitas with extra meat which cost 14.30€ so def not cheap. Flavor was okay just a bit mild overall. Top spice level is also not v spicy.. just feels like everything is a bit toned down. The meat was kinda dry and carnitas is usually so juicy so that was disappointing! Overall it's not bad but I also wouldn't recommend.

policy! 50 euros for three burritos and a couple of chips with guacamole dip and salsa, and the salsa spills on the dirty table because they filled the plate and we ask nicely if they can give us new salsa because we don't want to eat from a dirty table. The waiter refused and said it was policy. After a few minutes they brought the salsa without a word. No one looked us or said anything. The food was ok, nothing special but we will not return!

It was in such a small portion and only few rice. And I ordered the beef one but it was hard to find a piece of beef in the bowl. So bad and not recommended! I will never come again then.

Very hidden place with hand pulled noodles. The service was really fast. The flavor of the dishes were really good, and portions very abundant. I found the noodles just a little overcooked, and because my dish was in the broth, it cooked more and lost some texture. Really appreciated the touch of side dishes. Nice little restaurant at the end of the Galleria's supermarket, floor -1. They make you seat just in front of the kitchen so you see your food being prepared. Even though these guys were super busy, they were very friendly and helpful in giving us more info about the dishes on the menu, especially the younger guy that served us. I wish they opened this in Glasgow (where I live), too. It would be a huge success. One of the best duck meals I've ever had, it was crispy, flavourful and the portion was huge. Not easy to find this restaurant. You got to go into Gallerie, take the escalator down a level & it’s at the end of the supermarket. Your efforts will be worth it. The lady taking your order is fluent in mandarin. As an Asian after eating 2 days of sandwiches, kebabs & pork knuckles. We were so happy to find this noodle place. For a lunch meal this is not the place to go. The burgers were more than fine, though nothing special, but the price of the lunch offer with 15€ is just too high. Also it took them almost 40 minutes for getting or food ready after order, way too long for a lunch offer. Additionally be aware that besides fries there is no options for vegans available.

All burgers are so delicious and are made with really high-quality ingredients and excellent bread. I've never eaten such a finger-licking burger in Munich. The special homemade sauces are so tasty and brilliant. There are multiple types of these delicious sauces. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. But keep in mind that you have to wait such a long time to get your food here! Usually around 20-30 minutes.

The food at Taste My Burger was very good. We had also lost a gold bracelet there, and the staff found it, and kept it until I came back two days later to pick it up. I appreciate their honesty.

However, I feel that the service could be improved a bit to make the experience even better. One important thing to note is that they don't accept card payments, but they do accept PayPal, which is convenient. Sababa was recommend to me by a local, it’s located in the married area near old Munich. It was such an amazing choice and refreshing meal. The staff were so nice and the food was delicious. Located right next to the Fraunhoferstrasse U-Bahn station entrance/exit. I decided to give the restaurant a try after reading positive reviews about their currywurst dish. It was very good! The restaurant is unpretentious. The food is good and inexpensive. The server was polite and professional. No language barrier issues as the server spoke excellent English. While the restroom looked out of a dystopian film, it was very clean. If you’re looking for a good currywurst dish, I recommend this place.

Great place to get your currywurst! I discovered the place when searching for “Best Currywurst in Munich” so I had to try it. Limited menu and of course I ordered their currywurst with fries, it was amazing! Both the sausage and the fries tasted very delicious and fresh! The place was smaller than I expected but it was still okay, would love it if it were brighter inside. The service was actually good it’s just that it would be better if they had more people. There was only one waitress serving all of us when I went there. She took all of our orders, delivered all of our orders, and did all the cashier for us. It was quite crowded when I went there so I had to wait for a while for my order to be taken as she was the only one doing everything for every customer. Great experience overall! Would definitely recommend!

I discovered Bergwolf in my search for the best currywurst. I might not be the world’s expert on currywurst but this was incredible. Easily the best I’ve had. The Pommes Schrank was super delicious with hot, fresh and perfectly salted fries and the ketchup and mayo were in perfect proportion. The currywurst itself came with a generous amount of the sauce with a delicious brat. Of course the sauce is bold and satisfying, but doesn’t drown out the taste of the brat either. If you’re looking for the best currywurst in Munich (and possibly Germany) you should stop here.

Absolutely fantastic and delicious curry sausages, some of the best I’ve had in Germany. The portions are generous and extremely reasonable in price. With the combo deals, the beer also becomes extremely cheap as well. The staff were pretty friendly but it was difficult trying to get a table since it was packed for the soccer.

I have been trying to go to this place in munich for years now. Either they were full, the kitchen was closed or something else came in-between. Because I had heard so many great things about it i kept on trying, everytime I came back to the city. This time it finally worked, i was there right when the place opened but I was sadly quite underwhelmed. Maybe indeed because of the long build up. I am used to travel and eat alone, this visit was one of the more unwelcoming ones. I experienced the staff as quite unfriendly. For example they made a thing out of where to seat me (I was the first one in the restaurant), so i would not take away to much space for the crowds expected for lunch. It just felt pretentious and unwelcoming. I get that especially with a small place you need to plan but in the end it comes down to tone and attitude. Food was sadly also only quite ok-ish. Not bad but also nothing i would come back to. The prices, especially for munich, where great!

Absolutely disgraceful. The pizza seemed tasty until I found a "SCREW inside my pizza". Never go here. When I showed it to the waiter, they said they would replace it. Then, when I said I shouldn’t have to pay, the manager claimed that because they replaced it, I still had to pay. Unbelievable. What if I had swallowed that screw or broken a tooth? And yet they still wanted money for it. A complete fiasco. I never even asked them to replace it – they did it on their own. Hopefully this place gets shut down before someone gets hurt. There are much better pizzerias nearby – don’t risk your health by coming here.

The location is off the main tourist road which is nice but it can be missed. Which explained why there were more locals than tourists eating here. The restaurant was very busy. Since all the tables were full people were ordering take out. They stopped taking customers after we got seated and that at 7 pm. The food was good the beer was good too. We had the Diavolo, Grano pizza and Helles beer.

It's a large place which feels crowded, industrial and noisy. The 4 of us went for lunch on a Saturday and we didn't have a reservation. There were a lot of visitors and we were offered one small table available which could accommodate only two. The pizzas were good and the waitress was nice with us.

The pizzas are impressively large; on our second visit, two of us shared one and found it more than sufficient. We weren't particularly impressed with the honey in the cheese salad. The tomato and basil spaghetti was also a fairly large portion. It tasted average, and the service took almost half an hour. It arrived much later than all the other dishes, and frankly, we couldn't understand why it took so long. We wanted to order dessert at 9:45 PM but were told the kitchen was closing. We had to wait for the waiter for about 10-15 minutes to get the bill. Overall, it was a pleasant evening. While it didn't quite capture Italian flavors perfectly, it was a restaurant that did a good job.

The pizza was fresh and tasty , the coffee great as well and the beer perfect as always! Even tough it was Oktoberfest season and the restaurant was packed , the manager took his time to chat a bit with us , he made us feel like we were at home. It was a flawless experience and I would recommend this place to anyone!!!

I wanted delicious tomato pasta dish and I got it. Tried the tomato and rugola dish and it came in a perfectly big portion for someone really hungry and I had a delicious non-alcoholic drink with it too. I would definitely go back when I'd another hankering for Italian food.

I have to unfortunately leave a bad review for the first time in my life as I had found a plaster in my meal. I know mistakes can happen but this is unacceptable. The waitress apologized and I didn’t have to pay for the pizza but that will unfortunately not help my nausea from chewing a stranger’s used band-aid for lunch go away. I have been throwing up for two days now. I won’t be back but please wear gloves or at least a blue band-aid next time to prevent other customers from this experience.

The food is tasty. And, the atmosphere is fantastic and feels very cozy. Additionally, Selma, our waitress is super nice and hospitable. It has been a really enjoyable evening for us. :D

Taste : perfect ! Location : 25-30 minutes from city center Atmosphere : Well, there is a van where the magic happens, and they say your name when your order is ready. We waited around 25 minutes for our burger. There wasnt enough table for us to sit, we were standing, but that was ok as well. We will definitely go there again, and i think i will order 2 burgers for me instead 1 😂 The portion is also big enough, the frites were my type as well.

One doesn’t expect to find good burgers in a parking lot in the middle of nowhere but this place serves up a nice proper burger. The burger here comes with a properly tender and juicy patty with the right sauce and topped with a varying range of accompaniments - as well as being a burger you can properly hold and bite into. 2 main downsides (aside for the inaccessibility for Munich city residents) is the price of the sides are pretty steep (I mean 8.5 bucks for some onion rings when a burger is 9.5?) and the waiting time is pretty long even when you don’t have a line. I waited 15 mins for my food even though there was only 1 guy who ordered before me. But hey, if this means the food is made fresh and with care, I guess it’s a trade off one can live with

Delicious burger at a very fair price for the portion and quality/taste 💯 I love that they use a brioche bun for their burgers as well! The location is in an Edeka supermarket parking lot, and there are some seating and standing tables available. The wait time, however, as many reviewers have already pointed out, is quite long for a burger. We went on a Friday afternoon just before 5 PM and waited about 40 min for our order to be ready.

I have not had a better burger in my life, so juicy, so tasty and overall great price / value. Although there is always a line, I was always served fast, and eating out makes this experience even better. If you want to have a great burger (if not the best), then definitely advise you to stop here, and try it yourself. If you see a big line waiting for their burgers, no worries, it won't take much time, but you will definitely not regret it.

We stumbled upon American Burger Bar by chance and were blown away by the flavor, quality, and freshness of their burgers. We went shopping for Christmas and we found this little place just behind the Obi in Rosenheim. Great pizzas, they offer a variety of it, and with interesting ingredients. I had pizza Rock and Roll, and my wife had pasta 4 cheeses which she could not finish. Dessert was Italian profiteroles, and they were amazing. Service is also great, and not expensive restaurant also. Will come again. 😃

This was our favorite dining experience in Munich. When our friendly server told us it was the best pizza in the city, we didn't quite believe him. (We've had a LOT of pizza.) But lo and behold, when our food was delivered to the table and we took those first few bites, we were amazed. We ate every last bite. My only bit of advice would be to avoid sitting outside, if you're not a fan of cigarettes. We began out there, but quickly moved inside, because of the smokers. Otherwise, a great experience here! Five stars!

I love the ambience! Stuff is friendly and fast. The regular pizza size is huge! Two adults can share one pizza (1€ extra). The taste is good and fresh. If you like it more spicy, simply ask for or choose a hot style pizza. Prices are reasonable.

Service and atmosphere are on top, but food is just good. And I’d say the price is too high: burger + fries and drink quite easily go above 25€ I’d say this place is good, but there are better burgers in Munich. For fries lovers this place is definitely a must!

The service here is extremely slow — only one waiter and one cook, and we waited over an hour to get our food. The burger was average at best, and the fries were quite dry and didn’t taste fresh. In my opinion, this place is rated much higher than it deserves. Not recommended — definitely overrated. Overall, a disappointment.

Great little burger place, for a spontaneous meal. Food seems to be of good quality, and was well prepared. The meat was ordered medium, was it was pretty well done, which is okay, better over than undercooked when it comes to meat. The bread was also good. Sate fries were a bit strange, peanut sauce on fries. The peanut sauce though was really well made, and probably would be really great on a grilled chicken burger. The fries themselves were good. Service was great, among the best I've experienced in Munich. Friendly, knowledgeable and quick.

The only downside to the experience was the location of the restaurant, which is very close to a busy street. The noise from the traffic somewhat took away from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. While the burgers were outstanding, the wings, unfortunately, arrived cold. This was a bit disappointing, as it impacted the overall enjoyment of the dish. Nevertheless, the drinks offered were top-notch and come highly recommended. On the service front, I must admit that it was a bit slow. However, the staff were friendly and accommodating, which helped make up for the wait. Expect to pay some money if you want to have a proper fulfilling dinner.

There was a crowd outside when we walked by, so we looped around the block and when we came back it was calmer. Three falafel sandwiches and a Spezi was about 25€. We sat at tables outside and ate. There’s only 5 tables, but a good rotation of people. You’re not rushed away but folks don’t linger super long either. The food was very good and I’d definitely pop back in if we are hungry near there.

Located within the Marienplatz, this small falafel restaurant is a great spot. We went for breakfast and ordered falafel sandwiches and a falafel plate, which comes with hummus and baba ghanoush. We had dinner with my wife, the food was really nice. But when we asked to pay the bill with an Austrian debit card, the responsible person informed us that they accept only German bank cards. Fortunately, we have cash with us, otherwise we might have to clean the dishes. This is unacceptable in a European country. In any case the owner of the restaurant has to inform his guests about that strange policy. Thats why only 2 stars!!!!Sorry " La locanda" :(

Absolutely delicious! My husband and I tried both their Hähnchen (chicken) and Kalb (beef) kabaps. The meals came with fries and a drink, and there were complimentary pepperoncini jars to enjoy alongside the meal. They were much spicier than the ones we’ve had in the U.S., which we loved! We both agreed these were the best kabaps we have ever had.

Went with family for simple and fast dinner. Pizza is very good, also according to Italian standards. Good price, too. Simple place, few small tables. However, a wasp fell into a glass of beer, which was more or less full. Waitress got it out with a spoon and gave the same glass back to my wife instead of just giving a new one. "Bad luck". So not really handled with good taste... In brief, the pizza is great, service can be nicer.

The place is quite nice and next to the train station 🚃 One important aspect to consider that ordering the food and paying would take sometime. So if you wanna catch the train or so try to be there minimum 45 minutes before your train departure. Another aspect to consider that waiters might be to busy therefore you might need to remind them. That pizza was kind of good. Just wanted to mention that the prices increased due to inflation.

Fantastic central location and definitely delicious menu options, my preferred place to seize a bite. Service was fabulous and completely adored the food, will be returning. The expense of the food was significantly less than anticipated, my sis And I were really thrilled. Find out about it online so was anticipating it to be packed out, but lucky they were in a position to cater to us. Wonderful food and cocktails too, you won't be disappointed. We came here for our wedding anniversary and simply cherished the ambiance and great food, cannot recommend it enough.

Pizzeria Cento is definitely a place to serve good wood-fired pizza or other seasonal and seasonal pastas and other products. The climate is friendly and the terrace is large enough to host even an event during the summer shaded by the surrounding trees and shadows.

I have found a pizzeria really really good: it is relatively new (one year), and for this reason still no presence here in trip advisor. I have the honour to start a sequel of five stars! Well... I have ordered a pizza with the famous N'duja! "Pikante Streichwurst" aus Calabrien. As I have read this word, I was almost crying for the happiness. I already knew "N'Duja" and was really keen to taste it! Well... it was marvellous...a poem. Next time I will order the Pizza with Sardellen... another specialty you can find in Calabrien! Well... if it is not clear, we have really enjoyed this pizzeria. The staff was really kind of course.... you know, people from south Italy are always really kind!
