I can’t be more happy about a bar🤩 Amazing and creative cocktails, friendly staff. The only downside might be the indoor seating which is not as cozy as I expected. We tried three different cocktails all great. The last one was a cocktail with watermelon that they made for us and was super refreshing. The noodle cocktail is a must try for sure.

Hands down the best cocktail bar I've been to in Germany! The lady making the cocktails is super skilled and works like an artistic machine! The waiter was very warm and knowledgeable about the drinks that were being served, the ingredients and was able to recommend the perfect drinks based on our personal preferences. Was an okay experience. Disappointed because it was very crowded and small. The drinks looked cute but the pornstar martini I ordered was lowkey mediocre at best. The seats were uncomfortable and will expose your hunchback.

I guess it's good bar with interesting signatures, but you should be lucky to be not in the crowd there. Even I think some requests from my side was not fully satisfied. I was at bar 2 times. Perhaps I will return back in the future.

This spot is a must for anyone visiting the Munich area. The atmosphere is excellent and really captures the Bavarian experience. The food was good overall—though I found the mushroom and pretzel dumpling a bit too salty for my taste, the chicken was very well prepared and delicious. Beer, of course, very good. I’d recommend sitting in the self-service area for a more relaxed experience. Our server was efficient but came across as a bit tired of tourists by the end of the day—not unfriendly, but not especially welcoming either.

With them serving a towering monster sized 1 litre house beer its hard not to have a good time. If you are in here you have to get a pork knuckle. delicious and crispy, overall had an amazing time

First time in Munich. Tried twice to eat at this restaurant for the savory pork knuckle. First time went at 10:30pm thinking it closed at 12am. Kitchens last call is probably 9:30/10. Got the boot from the waiter. Second time was greeted kindly, choose a seat on a large bench and pointed to another reviews photo and said I need this. Pork knuckle soaked in gravy and a huge polenta ball. The server was great, food arrived quickly, but most important the pork knuckle was crispy and fulll of flavour. The gravy kept the never ending pieces of meat and crispy skinn diving back and forth. I tried to conquer the meal alone, which is likely possible if i didn't eat lunch but I think it's really perfect for two. The atmosphere is bustling and full of energy. They also have a selection of beers on draft for the beer lovers. It's not cheap... But for a first timer, recommended. Give it a go alone or with friends!

Upon entry, we were led by our waitress to our table right in the centre of the beer hall. We love the atmosphere, the height of the ceiling as well as the interior decorations that reminded us of our times at Munich Oktoberfest. After browsing through the menu of Augustiner Keller, we decided on the half Schweinhaxe (20.50 euro) and the Edelstoff (4.5euro) / Radler (4.5 euro) for drinks. The pork knuckle came with 2 German dumplings (knodel) which left us very full towards the end. Of course, the pork knuckle had crispy skin which went really well with the beer. As for the meat itself, mostly tender, except for some parts which were a little dry, rendering a tad bit harder. Nonetheless, a great meal overall. At Augustiner Keller, live music is only available on Mondays. Since it was a Sunday, we unfortunately didn’t get to listen to Bavarian music. Still, we were glad to have good food and great beers this evening. Kate also noticed that our staff was able to speak Greek. She thanked her in Greek after making payment (Efcharisto) and she responded so positively, as though we were long-lost relatives. I finally visited after seeing some recommendations online and I was thoroughly pleased I did. First off, the beer garden is massive and definitely needs to be seen to be believed. The beer (Edelstoff from the wooden barrel) was outstanding and definitely worth the visit alone. Throw in the food and you will be faced with a difficult choice of what to have as everything we tried on our multiple visits was great. 100% recommend and looking forward to my next trip to Munich. A super good restaurant where food and drinks are brought to you literally within 5 minutes! Huge portions and everything is insanely delicious! The two terraces are full of tables to accommodate several hundred people and there is a small parking place on the site. I liked everything very much, and our waiter was the best I have met in the last 3 years of visiting all kind of restaurants! If you are in Munich - you must visit this place!!!

This place had been on my list for a while, and during Cocktail Week, I finally decided to check it out. I wish I hadn’t. It was my first and definitely my last visit. The venue didn’t live up to the classy, upscale vibe shown in the pictures. The drink I ordered was awful, but the worst part was the service. The staff were grumpy and completely unprofessional. Don’t waste your time going there.

So the atmosphere is really cozy, the music was cool and the cocktails good, but the size of the cocktails is not in proportion to the price. In fact, it's two sips of cocktail for a price of 10+ euros. The bar is above a restaurant and there is a passage to the hotel. In summary, it was an experience, but I wouldn't come back again, the alcoholic drinks are too expensive for that.

Personally, I have been visiting the bar for the past 3 months or so. Always been good service. HOWEVER, today the bar let me down. We cannot be disputing a bill for an extra maitai and a glass of rose , It is unfortunate that we were a group of Africans and that is why the staff believed they were in the right, but I don’t care , if they can go back to the cameras and vet their staff they can clearly see we overpaid. whomever is their security, I told them it is okay to call the authorities if they are needed to investigate this matter . So I would no longer recommend this place for any other race . Sorry it’s not (safe).

I was genuinely shocked to find that this bar had no one available to make cocktails for a full 30 minutes because the bartender was on break—and no one else was assigned to cover that position. For a place that presents itself as a quality establishment, this is completely unacceptable. It felt more like a third-rate bar than the reputable spot it claims to be. Truly disappointing.

I’d rather give 3.5 but such a pity it was not possible. My friend suggested me to go there. The first impression was, we stood there and waited and were ignored. Well, finally we got inside and got a place. It’s was lovely decorated like in the library and at first I thought the price for the drinks were also fine. Well, at the end, it’s difficult to say. I’d say location & decorations is awesome. The drinks were ok ( the price is not high but you’ll get a mega-big iced cubicle that filled the half of your glass) …. Well, all in all, it was not bad but I’d really would prefer to pay more for a real fulled glass drink.

Truly one of the worst experiences we've had. The staff were openly rude, and the manager couldn't be bothered to intervene or hold anyone accountable. To top it off, the menus have been sticky on our last three visits—disgusting and lazy. This place clearly doesn't care about its customers or basic hygiene.

Best cafe that you can find around Munich. We were supposed to go to another cafe but then we saw Kosmos and everything was amazing. For the first time, as a tourist, the workers were really kind to us, not angry, not rude. We had some beer, cocktails and coffee. Everything was nice. Prices were also good too. But I saw the cleaning part of the dishes, it was not clean for me cause they were just putting the dishes to the soapy water, drain and then putting them to the "clean" water. The clean water was not clean obviously because they were all putting the same dishes to that water. Maybe its normal in Germany or Europe but it was not hygenic.

Great little bar just off the HBF. welcoming atmosphere, good prices, a big upstairs and a terrace outside. The menu for drinks is lovely but specific; don’t expect something slick, corporate and fancy but a charming, quite esoteric locale to enjoy a drink or two.

Superb espresso and very fine cappuccino with oat milk. Speedy service from a really nice guy who had no problem with us speaking English. Go upstairs and check out the terrace! A great first stop right off the train. Thank you.

One of the coolest bars in Munich with fantastic cocktails and a stylish vibe. The drinks are creative and full of character, and it’s the only place in the city where you can try the legendary Lebanese Doudou shot. Definitely worth a visit!

I was shocked how big the space was. It is a beautiful building, has a beautiful interior, offers traditional Bavarian meals. The queue might seem quite long outside, but it moves fast. The food and drinks come quite fast, but it's hard to get the attention of the staff. There are simply too many people. Overall good experience and I'll definitely visit back.

A must visit to experience what Oktoberfest is like - live music, groups sitting together at a large table, drinking beer and socializing. The food was great, great atmosphere to chill, but depending on when you arrive, it might be hard to find an empty seat. Those seated on the inside of the long tables will probably have a harder time entering/leaving for the restroom, as the space is rather narrow. The noise level was a bit loud, but in a good, lively way, so everyone has to speak up, but that seems like a given after chugging down a couple of glasses of beer. There is also a gift shop by the entrance/exit, so worth it to take some time after eating to pick up something to remember this place by.

If you’re a fan of beer, great atmosphere you must come here. Live music, food was great. We had a pork knuckle dish and a local sausage dish. Both were awesome. Not to mention the beer just tastes wonderful in a place like this.

A must visit place if you are in Munich! This place is always crowded regardless of which hours. Be sure you find your seat and sit down quickly, the waiter or waitress will come and serve you afterwards! Personally I like the Bavarian cabbage very much! The atmosphere is something you don’t see in other Bavarian restaurants in Munich.

My son and I stopped here for lunch, and our meal and the experience was outstanding! Our server noticed us using Google Translate and brought us an English menu. We both ordered the seasonal venison with cranberry gravy, and they were excellent. We should have ordered a side order of bread rolls, but later purchased a giant pretzel from the woman selling them table to table. It was excellent as well. Just after noon, the “umpapa” band started playing, and everyone joined in. It was quite the experience. This is a must stop on your trip to Munich.

We celebrated my 60th birthday there, and the table was booked in advance. It is a great place, with lots of beers, and some food. Service is great, and also the live music is not too bad

Big touristy beer hall. Quite busy but not too difficult to find somewhere to sit. Trying to order was another matter. No one come to take any orders for ages and when we tried to ask someone standing nearby he just shrugged his shoulders, pointed to some other servers in a distance. After 15min someone came to take our orders. As we had lunch already we just had 2 beers, one Hell and one Dunkel plus a kaiserschmarrn. The dark beer was ok but the light beer was tasteless. At almost 15Euros I expected a bit more with my dessert. It looked like a pancake that I did when I was 12, lukewarm and came with cold apple sauce straight from the bottle or tin. The pancake was a bit coarse and tasteless. Literally the worst pancakes I had in my life. Perhaps the sausages and pork knuckles will be better but they looked at best average. They do have love bands too which added to the atmosphere.

This place makes REALLY REALLY good pork knuckle. We loved all the dishes we had here. Everything pork was yummy and the burger was huge and juicy. The ambiance was just so Bavarian and allowed you to just relax and feel welcome.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Weisses Bräuhaus in Munich. We came for the famous Weißwurstfrühstück – the traditional Munich white sausage breakfast – and it was absolutely fantastic. The white sausages (Weißwürste) were tender, delicate, and full of flavour, served the proper way in a pot of hot water. The freshly baked pretzels were perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft inside, and the sweet mustard was the ideal accompaniment. To complete the experience, we enjoyed an excellent glass of Weissbier, which made the breakfast feel even more authentic. The atmosphere of Weisses Bräuhaus is just as traditional as you would hope for in Munich – rustic, welcoming and full of Bavarian character. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a real taste of local culture and culinary heritage. An absolute must-try in Munich – highly recommended!

This was our first time in Munich and I can't recommend this enough if you're interested in a traditional Bavarian experience. I grew up with German classics and it was spot on. Especially recommend the liver dumpling soup, platter of sausages, and potato salad. Everything we tried was amazing. Loud atmosphere (as expected), but was so fantastic.

It's my 3rd time there. The beer is AMAZING. Nice atmosphere for Oktoberfest with live musicians. The strudel not my favorite, especially with chocolate sauce but the Snack Platter. PHENOMENAL! You can feel the really good quality ingredients, not industrial but made with craftsmanship. Loved it! Server was also super friendly, quick, good recommandations, always smiling. It's worth the visit.

Good brauhaus located close to the Marienplatz. We arrived at midday and easily got a table for a large group. We ordered a few different dishes and they were all really good. Service was acceptable and some English is spoken. The atmosphere was excellent and I enjoyed the live music.

I came to this place purely because it was opposite my hotel and I was starving, it did not disappoint! The atmosphere in the outdoor seating area was nice and the umbrellas were a welcome addition on a sunny Munich day. The food is the highlight here, I ordered a pork knuckle and it hit the spot! The portion was great, the meat was tender and flavorsome. The potato dumpling it came with was nice too. All beers by Munich breweries are good and this is no exception. Service was quick and efficient. I would highly recommend Weisses Bräuhaus to anyone in Munich seeking good food and good beer.

For an authentic Bavarian experience in Munich, Weisses Bräuhaus im Tal is good option. We got a table in about 5 minutes without a reservation, which was great. It's convenient to pay by card, and they even have an English menu. We did have to ask for cutlery, but it was quickly brought over. The atmosphere is crowded and lively. And yes, their Weissbier is good.

We visited Der Pschorr on a hot Tuesday afternoon (30°C) on 12 August. The nearby Viktualienmarkt was bustling, and we were looking for a spot to rest and have lunch. Unfortunately, all outdoor seating was taken, so we had to sit indoors—where, surprisingly, it felt even warmer due to the lack of air conditioning. The waitress was friendly and welcoming. However, when placing our order, she repeatedly mentioned that the portions—such as the half pork knuckle and ribs—were too large for one person, and recommended the smaller versions, which were €4 cheaper. Regrettably, I followed her advice and found the portions quite modest, especially considering each dish still cost around €25. On the bright side, the beef tongue was tender and flavorful, and the pork liver was tasty, though a bit salty. The pork ribs and knuckle were average. Sadly, the beer wasn’t cold enough to offer relief from the heat. Overall, the experience was fair, but the pricing felt high relative to the portion sizes and food quality.

This was our first day in Munich and we wanted to find some authentic German dishes. They did not disappoint. First of all, they had an English menu, which was great for us. The wait staff was very friendly and were able to speak a small amount of English with us. My husband ordered the pork knuckle and I ordered the Viennese schnitzel. I loved the schnitzel. The pork was very tender and flavorful. The prices were a bit high, but the portions were fairly large. This was a nice pick. They also have outdoors seating.

Perfect Friday night dinner. Warm welcome, efficient service and good food. We opted for a large Caesar salad with roasted chicken and a delicious tartar steak. Great Riesling white wine. A little bit on the pricier side for classic food (2 mains, 2 glasses of wine, 1 water, 1 beer = 80€) but worth it. Thanks to the waiter for a great conversation about France, Bavaria and Hungary…

Our hotel was near this spot so we found it exploring the area. It was a good find! I tried the pig knuckle, which tasted like a mix of fried pork rinds and roast pork. Pretty darn good! My wife had the Viennese Schnitzel, which was also tasty. The service was good. No complaints. Would stop here again at some point.

We had such a wonderful dinner at Der Pschorr! A pretty solid 4 star joint. The first host we had was pretty rude and didn’t seat us, so we walked around, and a super kind server came and sat us immediately! (Not sure if this had to do with us being out of towners) the drinks were very good, a great selection of beers, poured golden and perfectly! Wiener schnitzel was well fried, very tasty, could have used a bit of salt; however the jam paired rather nicely and the potato salad was cold and refreshing. The ‘Obazda’ cheese dip looked and tasted like it was scooped from a vat. Again, the server made the visit worthwhile and he shared some complimentary cookies with us to go! We sat outside next to the market, so it was a cool spot to people watch. Indoor vibes were nice and seemingly Bavarian.

This restaurant is located the heart of Old Town. The Weiner Schnitzel was cooked to perfection, tender, tasty and their mustard delicious. It was served with a side of potato salad with cucumber. So good. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was great with an accordion player.

The waiter at our table had too much work, and many customers, including us, were made to wait in vain. In particular, it was left unattended for about 30 minutes after asking for a payment, and when I left my seat to go out, he started to prepare the bill for the first time.

First of all, I would like to warn everyone to avoid this restaurant and READ this before going. We are a group of 3. We had to take a bit of time to understand the menu as we don’t understand German and looked on other websites to see what is recommended. Then this waiter called “Samser Ahmad” came and said in a rude way “Why you guys still can’t decide after 10 minutes” This got us very furious. He blame his boss for asking him to rush us, which we think is a lie. Do we look like we are just going to sit there and not order anything? I think there is a better way to ask why we still haven’t order anything yet. When we thought there was only one issue, the next issue arise. We took our bill, there were 2x extra beer calculated into bill. Luckily we checked the bill carefully, otherwise we would paid extra for other tables. Seriously this restaurant is a nightmare, so careless and no manners. I would not recommend anyone coming here.

They have the best beer ever with their Lager! I've tried 6 breweries while in Munich and this is the best one! Their pork knuckle is also tasty. The vibe in the Brauhaus is also very chill. One note of improvement is the service, the place isn't very busy when we dined in but the staff are not very attentive, especially the male staff assigned to our area. Thankfully there was this wonderful lady who was more attentive than the others.

The food was good and the surroundings beautiful, but my overall experience was disappointing. The service was rough, mechanical, and impersonal. We were spoken to in a harsh tone by an older waiter who clearly seemed like he’d rather be anywhere else. Considering the price, I would have expected to be treated with basic courtesy. I had heard good things about this place before coming, but unfortunately, I was left very disappointed and won’t be returning.

Visited on a Sunday at noon. The service was good and the food came out very quickly. I had the Zwickl Beer and the pork knuckle. The pork knuckle was massive and came with two types of dumplings and cabbage salad. Everything was excellent.

Tucked away in the heart of Munich, Paulaner Bräuhaus felt less like a tourist trap and more like a hidden temple of Bavarian flavor. The atmosphere was authentic—no frills, just hearty food, smooth beer, and the warm clatter of locals enjoying the evening. I’ve braved jungle snakes and booby traps, but nothing hits quite like a cold pint and roast pork after a long day of adventure. If you’re looking for a great spot to rest your weary bones and enjoy a proper dinner, this place belongs in a museum… but I’m glad it’s not.

Great to return here after so many years -- of course the beer is still top notch, served in a beautiful space. Most memorable, however, was the absolute best Spargel I had that week (and I tried 4 different places): toothsome without being stringy, slightly nutty, with a delicate sweetness. I finally get why Spargel is such a well revered treat.

Great spot in the heart of Munich! The roast pork was flavorful and perfectly cooked, tender on the inside with a nice crispy crust. The fresh bretzel was massive and delicious, just the right amount of salt. Classic beer garden vibe with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of seating. It can get a bit crowded during peak hours, but that’s part of the charm. A solid choice for a traditional Bavarian experience!

Shocked that this place is so highly reviewed. The atmosphere is lively being in the market, but this was truly the worst pretzel I've had in my life. Hard as a rock and inedible. The man at the counter was also extremely rude to me. You can do better at the many other lovely restaurants and biergartens in Munich.

This place is absolutely buzzing. Near the Marienplatz you just stop to get a bite and some beers and the atmosphere is so cool! However, during lunch time it sooooo crowded that you literally have to stay in line to get a seat, stay in line to get some wurst and stay in line to get beers. There's no way you can escape the lines, but it is worth it. Beers go for 5 a small one and 10 euros a large one.

Atmosphere doesn’t make you sit and relax to enjoy beer and food. Tables are put too close to each other and there’s no space to walk between them. Food okay, beer is beer. Staff no so friendly.

Service is average and can take time during peak hours. However the lively atmosphere in the heart of Munich makes it a fantastic place to relax and enjoy some local flavour. It’s also ideal that they are open on Sundays, when the rest of the market is closed.

As you step into Weinhaus Neuner, you’re immediately struck by the beauty of the space. They have an amazing selection of wines to enjoy and a nice range of food options. As we entered the dining room, we were immediately aware of a very loud American family. As they were finishing up their meal, they decided it was time to have a really loud, open discussion, sharing their ill-informed opinions on world history. A lot of who could have and should have done what, when, and lots of things that I would have thought deserved a quieter dialogue, in a less public space. Thankfully a local young man, who looked like he was out on a big date came over to the group and asked if they could keep their voices down and views to themselves. I wouldn’t have said it as politely, so I am glad he was there. His date seemed impressed, and so did the other diners. Glad that the pre-dinner theatre was over, we settled in and ordered our food. They gave us a little amuse-bouche, a cold tomato soup in a small glass with some basil. It was simple and delicious. For mains we went with the: Monkfish Medallions - I liked the flavours of this dish and the texture of the fish. Viennese Veal Schnitzel - a good traditional schnitzel, with some potato salad and some cranberry–horseradish cream. We also ordered the Weinhaus Neuner Specialty, a Truffled Chicken Fricassee under a puff pastry lid. All the mains were good, but this was a definite winner. Was just a cool presentation and great flavours, the chicken was very moist. For dessert we shared two of their options: a Bavarian Cream with a basil sorbet and the Oven-fresh Kaiserschmarrn for two. A traditional dish of shredded pancake with raisins, almonds, vanilla ice cream, and apple compote. The menu lets you know it will take around 25 minutes to prepare, but that was the perfect time to let dinner settle. Aside from the wines, they also had a homemade elderflower lemonade that was delicious. The staff were lovely and knowledgeable about wine pairings for the food. The food was traditional, but elevated and we all really enjoyed our meals. The place has a decent reputation, and I am glad to confirm if you are wanting to try some good quality German cuisine and love a good wine list. This is worth trying.

Lovely atmosphere and good service. For the price, I felt the quality of the food and portion sizes fell short. The char fillet was very small. The prince regent cake is too dry (but it comes with ice cream and jam which help) and the run and raisin ice cream served alongside didn't taste of rum at all. My friend had the chicken pot pie which was good though - the soup is clear and was a nice contrast to the buttery pastry.

Let’s start with the ambiance. The vaulted ceilings, the wood furniture and paneling, the low light brass chandeliers bearing the royal crown and crest, and the wall paintings make you feel like you’re dining in a medieval tavern. The food is excellent. Traditional ingredients with a modern twist. The starter was veal with a poached egg and candied. Hazelnuts. It was a lovely combination with each element working harmoniously together. I like liver so I opted for a main course of a calf liver “Berlin Style” with apple and mashed potatoes. A rich and flavorful wine sauce tied it all together. The chunks of liver were juicy with added layer of deep flavor from the sauce; and the dish had a very modern presentation. The dessert was a cheese curd mouse with plums, currants and raspberries. With a nice level of tartness, it was light and felt like a great transitional dessert between summer and fall. Great place! Staff was knowledgeable and very attentive.

Had lunch at Weinhaus Neuner as part of the AMEX dining credit and it did not disappoint. We walked in at about 2pm so there were just a couple of diners. Was promptly greeted and ushered to our table. Menu is available in English and we ordered just 2 main courses; monk fish and a chicken special (served as a pot pie). Bread was served along with an olive spread as well as a cheese spread. The interior of the restaurant is rich in history. Believe the server mentioned that the property dates back to the 1600s. All in all, it was a 5" experience.

Stumbled into this place by mistake and it was a very pleasant surprise! We ordered the beef tartare as a starter and it was delicious. We shared the schnitzel as the main dish and it was the right choice as the portion was enormous. The food came quickly and it was all very well seasoned.

Located right next to the Fraunhoferstrasse U-Bahn station entrance/exit. I decided to give the restaurant a try after reading positive reviews about their currywurst dish. It was very good! The restaurant is unpretentious. The food is good and inexpensive. The server was polite and professional. No language barrier issues as the server spoke excellent English. While the restroom looked out of a dystopian film, it was very clean. If you’re looking for a good currywurst dish, I recommend this place.

Great place to get your currywurst! I discovered the place when searching for “Best Currywurst in Munich” so I had to try it. Limited menu and of course I ordered their currywurst with fries, it was amazing! Both the sausage and the fries tasted very delicious and fresh! The place was smaller than I expected but it was still okay, would love it if it were brighter inside. The service was actually good it’s just that it would be better if they had more people. There was only one waitress serving all of us when I went there. She took all of our orders, delivered all of our orders, and did all the cashier for us. It was quite crowded when I went there so I had to wait for a while for my order to be taken as she was the only one doing everything for every customer. Great experience overall! Would definitely recommend!

I discovered Bergwolf in my search for the best currywurst. I might not be the world’s expert on currywurst but this was incredible. Easily the best I’ve had. The Pommes Schrank was super delicious with hot, fresh and perfectly salted fries and the ketchup and mayo were in perfect proportion. The currywurst itself came with a generous amount of the sauce with a delicious brat. Of course the sauce is bold and satisfying, but doesn’t drown out the taste of the brat either. If you’re looking for the best currywurst in Munich (and possibly Germany) you should stop here.

Absolutely fantastic and delicious curry sausages, some of the best I’ve had in Germany. The portions are generous and extremely reasonable in price. With the combo deals, the beer also becomes extremely cheap as well. The staff were pretty friendly but it was difficult trying to get a table since it was packed for the soccer.

I went there for drinks only, so I can't comment on good...we ordered French fries which were okay. Service was quick and they speak English. Ambience was how it sho be in any Irish bar. We ordered cocktail sex on the beach... which was good. Overall nice place

I had a fantastic time at Call Soul Breaking Bar! The cocktails were absolutely amazing, and the variety of flavors was impressive. Truly enjoyed the creativity of each of the drinks. We had amazing time at the Call Soul bar! First of all, we’ve had amazing cocktails; I highly recommend Black&White. We tried 5 different kinds following Adrian’s recommendations and all of them were great, definitely one of the best ones we ever had. Furthermore, the owner is one of the funniest guys ever, really kind and plays the role of the Professor perfectly!

Amazing bar with great service. If you like Breaking Bad TV show, this is a must see place. This kind of bar is something outside of the box, with cocktails which taste great, but because of presentation they taste even better. Whatever you take, you won't regret it. Waitress was extremely nice and helpful, taking more than enough time to explain every cocktail and how to taste it/drink it properly. Highly recommended place!

Wow, what an awesome, original place! The interior design is a little spooky/ industrial and very well done. Apparently everything is "Breaking Bad" themed. The most important thing though are the great, creative cocktails with tasty mixes and perfect decoration. Some of them are little shows too, served burning, smoking, bubbling. All staff was super friendly and were able to recommend the poison suitable to you. Service was fast. They do also serve some food which looked good, but we didn't try it. One of the best, maybe even the best bar in Munich. Prices are high, but definitely acceptable for the quality served. They're also selling their own Rum and Gin. Reserve a table because it's busy. Highly recommended!

I came here expecting a relaxed Friday night with friends, but instead, we got an unsolicited lecture on manners—despite not doing anything wrong. Not exactly the welcoming atmosphere we were hoping for. On the bright side, the cocktails were well-made and enjoyable, which is the only reason I’m giving this place any stars. I don't know how to answer to comments so: No, I didn't snap my fingers to call the waiter, I don't know in what reality the owner is living in.

I absolutely love this bar! It’s one of the best bars I’ve ever been to in Munich. The cocktails are amazing, and the owner is simply a great guy. I’ve been here countless times with friends, and whenever I came with my dog, he always brought him treats. This has been my favorite bar for a long time, and I recommended it to everyone. But unfortunately, after today’s incident, I don’t think I’ll be coming back. I parked my scooter incorrectly, and instead of approaching me and politely asking me to move it, the waiter started yelling at me in a very rude manner, right in front of all the guests. I fully understand that I parked it wrong and would have had no problem moving it to the parking zone — that’s not the issue. The issue is the way it was handled: shouting instead of respect. And this wasn’t even the first time — it was already the second time I experienced such rude and unprofessional behavior from the same waiter. I told him directly that the way he was speaking to me was absolutely unacceptable, and that because of him I would no longer come back to this bar. His answer was simply “no problem.” That kind of attitude toward loyal guests is very sad. Especially because I was actually planning to sit down there with my friends today. The absolutely terrible service in the face of this waiter overshadows everything good about this place. It’s such a shame, because I truly loved this bar and its atmosphere, but after this experience, I don’t feel like coming back anymore.

Later Edit: Just to clarify: No one snapped at you—quite the opposite. We actually complimented you and your cocktails, yet out of nowhere, you started acting like an emotionally unstable snob. My kids have better manners than you! Also, you lied about being the owner. If your manager allows you to treat customers this way, then their social and communication skills must be even worse than yours. Oh, and about those cocktails? They were just average. We were simply being polite. We usually are, as opposed to you. Terrible Experience – Avoid This Place I had an absolutely awful experience at Auroom. I visited with a couple of female friends, expecting a fun night out, but instead, we were met with hostility—from the owner himself. He scolded and shouted at us for no reason, treating us with complete disrespect. What made this even worse was that he seemed to target my Chinese friend specifically, picking a completely unnecessary fight with her. The way he acted was not only unprofessional but also felt disturbingly discriminatory. When the owner of a place behaves like this, it says everything about the establishment. If you care about being treated with basic respect, do yourself a favor and stay away. Plenty of other bars in Munich actually value their customers.

Amazing cocktails, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff! I tried the Drunken Rabbit (which has ginger and coconut milk) and was refreshing and all the flavors were well-balanced; I highly recommend it. Our waitress was really attentive and helped us a lot with recommendations. The place had good music, but not extremely loud so you could still have a nice conversation.

I had one of the BEST COCKTAILS of my life, if not the actual greatest! I asked for something spicy, loaded with flavour but not to sweet ... and I was literally presented with exactly that! Topped with perfectly fluffed egg white, made with beet juice, chili and spiced to perfection! Presentation on point and service to write about! If thirsty in Munich, go hydrate with a cocktail at Auroom!

Small and cosy cocktail bar with a great selection of drinks. They have all the classics and they were all well made. The bar tender completes the drinks in front if you and the curation was well made. If you’re interested in a cocktail this is a good choice. The atmosphere and the whole experience was like a speak easy.

This is a first for me as a tourist to leave a review of this nature, especially at one of my favorite cities in Europe. To start off, first impressions of the place was amazing. Love the nostalgia, the vintage feels, and the coziness. Shortly after deciding what we were going to have, we placed our order. I asked the bartender if i could hold onto one menu so i may choose another drink and he refused to allow that. That is a first for me, as it is customary virtually everywhere to at least offer the customer a menu to review and make a different order or to at least allow the customer to hold onto the menu in general. Moreso, he snatched the menu from my hand which caught both of us by surprise. Additionally, we noticed he spoke italian so i decided to speak to him in Italian to at least break the german language barrier that i am not so good in. He did not even acknowledge us even after being able to communicate with him better. In the end, the bartender ignored us for the remainder of our time there and decided to entertain other guests in a more welcoming manner. This left a distasteful impression on us. Not sure if it has to do with us being tourist but for any tourist visiting this location please be wary of this interaction. In the end, we each had one drink and left. The drinks were good at best.

What a fantastic atmosphere and a lovely place! The barmen know what they are doing, they remember guests and their choices well. They made me a perfect cocktail just based on a few questions, which is hard as I usually tend to be picky about cocktails. Absolutely recommend this gem. ❤️

It is a crazy place! The cocktails are delicious, probably one of the best in the city. They used to be expensive, the many years ago, when they opened the Barron, but the price haven't changed much since then and now, for the quality they offer - it's unbeatable. The place is crowded, but the service managers the crowd perfectly. They are always there for you, and always open for your personal wishes. I just love this place ♥️

We have done a few distillery tours, the last being the Whitby Gin distillery in England. I found the evening at the Duke distillery generally ok, but was a little disappointed that we only got to taste neat gin, no option to have tonic with the gin. I like gin and tonic, but neat gin really isn’t my thing. And the evening consisted of a 90 minute talk about the history of gin generally, and of course the company itself, interspersed with the tasting of 3 types of gin. The tour itself was at the very end and overran somewhat, so people were ordering food for later whilst trying to do the tour through the distillery itself. It would have been better to perhaps have an initial talk, then see the Stills, then another part of the talk, then see bottling, then finish off with the last part of the talk. For the 90 minutes you are sitting on quite low, hard stools with no cushioning, after a while it becomes a bit uncomfortable. You do get free water and at the end you can try all their products, but by that stage we’d had enough and left, as we had plans and had already run over by 30 minutes. So an interesting evening, I think they could organise it a little better. The staff were all very friendly and polite!!

Amazing! Highly recommend the distillery tour! So nice to hear the history of a one man band creating his own gin. Plus the gin is really delicious.

Die Goldene Bar is a gem in Munich. Classy and elegant, with a touch of bohemian flair that makes it feel unique. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed evening. Definitely worth a visit if you appreciate great design, quality drinks, and an elevated yet laid-back vibe.

I was surprised to read bad reviews for this place. The atmosphere decoration and ambiance is one of a kind. Really unique place that I can recommend without any second thought. I have Been going there for years, usually the atmosphere is quieter than what’s in the pictures. It’s nice to go on a weekday to enjoy a drink. The price is a bit higher but you get to sit in a special place. It’s a bar you shouldn’t miss even if just for the look and not staying.

Cocktails were really good and the bartender paid attention to what I liked in terms of flavors, when he made this cocktail with corn liqueur. The grilled cheese sandwich was also awesome. I was there early evening on a Monday so it wasn't busy, but the space is really beautiful. Will definitely go back the next time I'm in Munich!

Wonderful bar. A must visit site in Berlin. Located inside the Kunst Museum it is a unique space with very nice people and great food and drink at reasonable prices.

One of my favorite bars for a wine evening/night with friends. The interior design itself is an art form, the walls and the lamp are originals from the time it was built. As part of the Haus der Kunst it’s like an extension of the art experience you get at the gallery.

Wonderful area to sit and socialise with friends for its interior aesthetics or nice location within Königsplatz. Good option to have your breakfast with a big variety of the menu. Good quality of the cafe. The service was great too. Our waiter was very friendly and joked with us as well.

Fabulous museum. Great food, but pity about the service. We were not offered a menu, but found one on another table. Around 5 staff chatted close by and ignored us for 15 to 20 minutes. We nearly gave up and left, my wife went to the bar and asked for service. After a further wait, our order was taken. We both had really delicious soup, but no bread was offered. We decided not to struggle to get more food. After a delay we got a bill and were asked to add money for service. I declined. Would I go again or recommend the place? Perhaps not. The restaurant has great chefs but needs at least a basic standard of waiting staff.

Waiting for staff long (staff was chating brhind the counter). We just get on the invoice charged the Tringeld (tip) without knowing and for what: for rudenes and waiting. Atmosphere is nothing special. Better to sit in ordinary coffe shop.

Had a really great afternoon lunch at ELLA a couple days ago! The waitress was super friendly, the Pasta Arrabiata was the best I've had (really diverse in flavor) and an amazing Crème Brûlée as desert! My Maracuja Spritz was delicious as well :) Can definitely recommend and will come again!

Nice little Cafe with varieties of dishes including Indian and Italian dishes. The price is very reasonable. We tried two dishes, the chicken jalfrezi and the chicken tikka roll. I have tried quite a few Indian restaurants but to my surprise, I found the Indian foods here to be of the highest quality and taste. I would recommend the Chicken Tikka roll as a must try item. The hosts are very friendly and amicable. They speak good English. This surely is added to the list of my favorite places and cafes in Munich.

Cozy little bar in the heart of Munich. This bar reminds me of Berlin so much and that makes it very dear to me. At first glance I thought it was just a bar but I was surprised at the variety of German, Italian and Indian dishes with some vegetarian options. Talk about a hidden gem. Love it here and will definitely visit again. The food was also quite cheap and very tasty. Value for money 10/10 If you do not like crowded bars with a lot of chatter then Schall & Rauch may not be the one for you.

Chicken Tikka and Mutton Seekh Rolls/Wraps-- would you believe it if I told you they've nailed the Indian flavor?!! We had them for takeaway, it was served with a generous portion of salad. The taste was amazing and so authentic, better than a lot of the Indian restaurants even and the salad was so crunchy. Would definitely visit again and recommend it to anyone missing the Indian kaati rolls.

The prices are affordable, and both the drinks and food are incredibly delicious. The only downside was that it felt a bit cramped, but other than that, everything was perfect. We highly recommend visiting this place!

Beautiful bar with speakeasy vibes, delicious cocktails, and retro music. There were so many original drinks on the menu that were created by the staff, it was hard to choose. We had a great time and didn't leave until we were tipsy and giggly. 🤭

The new staff are friendlier than the old ones. If you’ve never been it’s a small bar that can take maximum maybe 50 and has very cozy style always red light. The cocktails don’t come below the 10 euro mark. They have some wine and beer reasonably priced. Music is usually nice.

I'm a sucker for whiskey and blues no matter where I go - Zum Wolf was perfekt. Would recommend the smoking old fashioned, was absolutely beautiful and the staff were fantastic.

The place is fine. But for the price, the drinks weren't as wow as expected. I ordered a cocktail that from description should have been sweet and lemony, but it was just lemony. And the expresso martini was quite small. It's a nice place but didn't wow me for that price.

At first, the service may seem a bit cold, but they quickly warm up once you're seated. The place tends to get surprisingly crowded, so it’s best to arrive early. They offer good German cuisine with an extensive wine selection, making it a great spot for a quick and enjoyable afternoon lunch.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. It was crowded but the place was huge and there were empty seats. Only saw 2 white male waiters in the entire place. 1 came to us and greeted us very rudely. We asked for an English menu and the waiter begrudgingly gave us one. After waiting for some time, no one came. Desperate, I walked up to this female older staff standing at a corner. She was very rude and basically ordered my friend and I back to our seats when I tried to place my order with her. Still no one came so we quickly left. This place seems popular with older white folks but the service is terrible. AVOID AT ALL COST!

First, the food was good, taste was straight to the point, no nonsense, and priced reasonably. I’m not much of an alcohol fan so I only tried their non alcoholic wines, and they were good. Service is just the same. Don‘t expect the overly friendly hospitality but just efficient „what do you want, ill get it for you“-service. The place overall is nice. Inside is rustic, authentic, and they offer al fresco dining along the road or at the courtyard.

This is not only a wine bar / restaurant but it is a historic monumental establishment ! The service is rough but this typical and to be expected. The food is very good and the wine is poured to the top of your glass ! Beautiful building .

Super cool spot. Went on a Friday (around 10 pm) and it was pretty packed; finding a seat for a large group may be difficult. The tap house offered a large variety of craft on draft along with traditional German beers and additional craft in can/bottles. 🙌

Overall, I really enjoyed this place!! They had 40 beers on tap and more in bottles. I didn't realize the stout was very expensive, but the IPAs were good and I enjoyed them. They charge 1.50 euro per sample, something I was not informed of (-1 star). Much more expensive than I planned, but great beer at least!

It’s a nice place to taste all the different beers, and their food is quite good. But there's a weird smell…maybe it comes from the beer barrels? Not sure. Maybe I’m just sensitive to bad smells 😄 Other than that, I love it and recommend you try it out.

Amazing cocktail bar with experienced and gentlemen staff. The atmosphere was unlike anything I’d ever experienced, almost like a pub in chatter and seating set up but serving the finest cocktails and wines as well as complementary olives and pretzels. Literally “the worst” bar in Munich. I had a terrible experience there. Even though there were lots of tables available the waiter argued with us about the place we want to sit. He wanted us to sit at a dark and almost no fresh air kind of table. And we said we don’t want to sit there, there are plenty of tables and we said we wanted to sit at a more fresh and airy place, he said “we are not serving here, leave now”. Spontaneous visit for drinks on a Saturday night. Extensive cocktail menu and a very harmoniously melded Singapore Sling, one can barely taste the difference with Raffles hotel variant! Small space with rather old-fashioned wooden design which gives its own charm and is filled with „regular patrons“ crowd. One thing that kept me interested, is the distribution of snacks (olives/chips) order — we did not get any, while most surrounding tables did. Overall a nice place for a couple of drinks.

We had dinner here on a Sunday evening, after some locals recommended it to us and it was just perfect. The place has a great variety of Bavarian dishes. Everything we had was scrumptious: Schnitzel (veal escalope), Käsespätzle (noodles with grated cheese and fried onions), and Kaiserschmarrn (fluffy shredded pancakes served with apple sauce) for dessert, along with traditional beer. The staff was super sweet and helpful. They made us feel right at home, like we were regulars. We will definitely be back!

Outdoor & indoor seating. Lunch menu has more variety than usual in a Bavarian restaurant & was very priced. Most mains were €10.60. I do not eat pork which is normally a problem. Not in this restaurant. My only issue is while our mains were tasty, neither was served in accordance with the menu. The wine list while short was also very well priced. Nice german restaurant. Traditional options incl. Schnitzel, Medallions, Kaiserschmarnn. Everything we ordered was very tasty, and service was also nice. A sure recommendation for German food, just important to make a reservation.

We found Gaststätte Scheidegger online, noted high reviews, and arrived without a reservation to still luckily snag a table before it got busy. Our server was very helpful and recommended a great variety of dishes, all of which we enjoyed. We also took the dessert recommendation which was delicious too. The atmosphere is very nice and the service was good. All the food was very tasty and it was a lovely experience overall. I'd recommend a reservation and certainly recommend checking it out. As a note, the menu is only in German but the server was very kind to talk us through the highlights.

Had a post Oktoberfest lunch at this place on a Sunday - interior was lively and the service was prompt and friendly. I had the fried Leberkase with eggs - normally this is one of the dishes I use to judge a Bavarian style restaurant. It was delicious and they accommodated my request of having fried potatoes instead of potato salad. Would come back again if I was in the area!

It's a nice place. They have a lot of nice cocktails and it is really hard to decide. However, when we were there this big place had only two waiters. For this reason, it was really tough for them to handle everything. Probably, because of these busy hours, they had some problems regarding the orders. Additionally, for an Italian kitchen they have a limited menu. Pizza was not pizza unfortunately, at least for an Italian place. Another order was pasta with truffle. As you can see from the picture, it was not really satisfying. In the previous pictures, you see much better pictures for this plate. I mean you don't put truffle this much, if we are paying that over price for this plate. So, don't go there for food!

Finding Ferdings was pure luck as we did to seek for it besides the need to get some food into our rumbling stomachs. What a pleasant surprise, the minimalist food menu works as each plate hot the spot. Gambas , Caesar Salad , Fries Chicken and sweet potato. Small but yummy dishes and rather inexpensive. The cocktail and wine list is very extensive and should be able to cater to anyone's desire. The place is charming and sitting outside during a warm summer evening adds to the all round good vibe this place offers.

One of my favourite restaurants in town!! Would love to come back anytime. First, the manager and staff are super nice. We didn’t reserve online but the manager was happy to make an arrangement in the call. Second, the food menu is limited but international cuisine. We had 6 different plates. The gnocchi was so good that we ordered the second one and cleaned the plate with bread completely. Last but not least, they have a huge selection of alcohol! We had difficulties to pick one of them so be prepared ;) btw their homepage is quite interesting as well

Quality food with timely and friendly service. I had read previous reviews from the past but found the service to be prompt and very friendly. The chicken strips were real chicken breast and the burgers were lovely. I will return. To follow up in the post, the flavor was surprisingly robust. The chicken strips were just spicy enough and the burger had a great BBQ flavour. 👍

Great little bar in the inner city. Very friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. It is however quite small, so it gets crowded quickly.

Did not do much eating here but boy did I enjoy coming here the whole week 1/2 in Munich. A Freddy Mercury inspired place, small and feels like home. Zandro, Daniel , Rainy and the others as well are great bar tenders here and fun! Good times with good people. Until next time!

Quite possibly the best bar in Munich. The bar is very small and does get busy on a weekend. There is limited seating outside as other bars have taken the space. Sitting inside is a good way to meet locals and other tourists. There was a very good music selection being played which we enjoyed. Local beer is €4.5 so it's competitive price and goes down easily. On our last visit the bar lady demanded a tip. This was very confusing as we did not believe it to be customary. We gave her €5 on a €40 bill. She didn't seem very overwhelmed with that. There may have been a breakdown in communication and we may have confused what she was asking but I don't believe so. On our first visit we did in fact leave a €5 tip as the lad was very friendly and we enjoyed our visit. We had not previously been asked for a tip and only ever sat at the bar so service was limited. This interaction really did spoil our final visit to LeClou which was a real shame.

Small little bar, right off off of the Market and behind Spiritus Sanctii Chapel. Staff get the drinks out with a minimum of fuss and, at times, you barely notice them being there such is the buzz of this little spot.

Overpriced burgers and mediocre quality. For the kind of money they demand here, you can find much better burgers in town. The fries are absolutely tasteless, and of course the frozen type. For the well above average burger prices, one would expect much more than that. And it's not just burgers that are overpriced but all sorts of other things. 0.5l of table water (!) sells for EUR 3.10. Enough said. Service was relatively fast and the waiter very nice (even though he spilled water on me. lucky me, it wasn't my boyfriends coke).

I went with my friend on a week night for dinner. Casual young atmosphere, I'd call it modern-bavarian. I had the 'Burschenlende' (beef sirloin) with a side of sweet potato fries. Really really delicious, the beef was perfectly cooked (medium rare) and the salad was very tasty with a super yummi dressing. I asked if I could have a smaller portion of fries and rather a bit more of the salad, it was no problem at all. The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome there. I can highly recommend this place for a casual drink or dinner and will come back for sure.

Nice place to drink a few cocktails. Not expensive and really awesome ambient. Staff was really really nice. Weekend night we had to wait for 5-10 minutes to have a table, so we were really lucky!

Good place to meet as a group. A bit dark inside. Good outside seating on the sidewalk. I can not recommend the vegan burger. My friends were also not so happy with the regular burger. But the triple sorts of fries were great 👍

The place is nicely clean and well decorated. Cozy and they offer a lot of different drinks. Unfortunately the burger were not that good, because build up way too high, so difficult to eat and the meat was very loose, it felt apart and felt rather like bolognese. All in all a cool place to hang out casually.

Maybe a good place to have a beer or two. However, mixed drinks seem to be fairly weak in terms of alcohol content which was slightly disappointing. But the more upsetting part of our stay was that we were charged 3.30 EUR for a glass of tap water.. which I really cannot understand. After asking the waitress about this, we just got the response "I don't make the prices!".

Went over to this restaurant after the server in Munchner Stubn was so rude us. The owner of this restaurant was so friendly and nice. The food are good and scrumptious. Had Entrecote, Napoli Pizza, Agilio Olio and Panna Cotta. Drank Chanti and Montepulciano. Thank you for the great service.

Scholars Lounge has a nice Irish pub interior, with warm lighting and traditional décor that makes it feel authentic. The atmosphere is lively, and they have a solid selection of Irish drinks, including a well-poured Guinness. However, the experience didn’t live up to the expectations. The pub was too crowded, making it uncomfortable if you prefer a more relaxed setting. To make things worse, if you end up sitting near the kitchen area, there’s a strong smell of oil, which is quite unpleasant. Drink prices are also on the expensive side— six for a Helles and seven for a Guinness, which is pricier than many other pubs in Munich. Overall, if you enjoy a busy pub vibe with a good drink selection, you might like it here. But if you prefer a more laid-back experience without the crowds and high prices, there are better Irish pubs in the city.

Salmon was quite boring. Sides of roasted potatoes and sautéed garlic spinach. I requested a side of sweet potatoes. They substituted some broccoli. Still did not do it for me. Staff were great! Very attentive.

The bartender is a Dubliner and knows his Irish whiskey. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this pub and the personal service.

A new favourite place for me. Particular "scholar" atmosphere, with livingroom-like corners. Quite friendly and mostly jolly staff. The Loaded Nachos are highly recommended. Unfortunately not accessible for everyone, because of the long stairs.

This is hands down the most beautiful Irish pub I’ve been to! We had an amazing karaoke night here and the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful. We met Jimmy who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The customers were fun and entertaining, and we received such a warm, pleasant welcome right at the door. The whole vibe of the place just made for a perfect evening. If you’re looking for an authentic Irish pub experience with great people and a lively atmosphere, this is the place to be! Highly recommend! We’ll definitely be coming back.

A fantastic Irish pub without all the leprechaun, pots of gold etc. Beautiful staff, excellent service and a friendly atmosphere with great music. Such an amazing place to relax and grab a great craft cocktail! My sister and I stayed at the Hilton and this was our go-to place during our stay in Munich for craft cocktails. We loved every drink we had but especially the tea thyme (which was recommended to us)! Oh and special shoutout to Antonio! Not only was he very well versed on the menu and gave amazing recommendations, he was also an incredibly personable individual! We would recommend this bar to anyone in the Munich area!

This bar is perfectly situated inside Hilton Munich City. The ambiance was chill, and the music matched it well. The staff was kind and knowledgeable of their menu. They have a great selection of cocktails, and the menu divides it by hints of flavors (e.g., fruity, woody). The food selection is simple yet delicious. Their kitchen closes at 22:30. Overall, the experience was splendid. I recommend this place.

Hidden gem in the Munich cocktail scene, inside of the Hilton hotel. The first thing you will notice is the fitout, this type of attention to detail and no expense spared is only what you can do if you part of a large hotel chain. That said, the cocktail crafting that goes on here is second to none. The team here are constanty testing new concoctions and developing the menu. If you want to go for your glam moment, order one of the smoked cocktails, not only looks good, but tastes good also.

Upscale bar at the heart of Munich’s old town. We had two signature drinks and shared a Schnitzel that was served with fries. Drinks were nice and strong, the ambiance is intimate and luxurious. The food was good but I’ve had better ones in simple restaurants. They served welcome drinks, nuts and Pickels on our arrival. The waiter was friendly and polite.

Simply wow! The experience already starts while entering Ory bar. The atmosphere is great, dim lighting and cosy & “confi” chairs. We have been warm welcomed by the barman’s who are really doing the show while preparing the drinks. Cocktails are a must try, perfectly balanced with harmonious blend of flavours. Standard one like the Bloody Mary was spiced at perfection. New try like the Crossroads (one of their signature cocktails), a marriage of whiskey, lychee, dill, honey and cucumber, was surprisingly tasty and great. A wonderful cocktail bar at the Mandarin Oriental. The cocktails are top notch, with Japanese influences. The welcome drink, a cherry blossom ice tea, was so tasty. We tried a classic Lychee Martini and a Peach whisky cocktail, both incredible tasty. The staff were very attentive and happy to explain the different cocktails.

good bar with care about guests. Team regularly refilled my water, and served cucumbers as an appetizer - delicious! I was especially amused by the menu item: Luxury PornStar Martini- made me smile. I ordered a brandy and a white negroni - both cocktails were very high quality, you can feel that they work with good alcohol and know what they are doing. The interior is beautiful and stylish, and I am pleased with the large selection of decent wines. A very nice place - will come back

Definitely an upscale hotel bar catered to Americans. Very hospitable service staff who provided us with complimentary snacks and a vermouth based welcome drink! Drinks were incredibly tasty, but a bit overpriced for the area (~22€ per cocktail). But the service staff was so good, it made the entire experience worthwhile! Would definitely consider coming back!

Stylish cocktails and standout service at Ory Ory Bar is a gem in Munich’s nightlife — modern, upscale, and buzzing even on a Tuesday. Definitely book ahead; it fills up fast. Service was top-tier — warm, attentive, and always with a smile. We were welcomed with a small drink and bites (pickles and peanuts) — a thoughtful start. Tried two excellent cocktails: -Stifler’s Mom, served with a macaron, was smooth and well-balanced. -Hide & Peach came with a mini lollipop — playful and perfectly layered. Also loved the Trüffel Pommes — crispy, aromatic, and highly addictive. A perfect spot for anyone who loves great drinks in a refined setting without the pretension.

Top notch venue, food and service were excellent. Well worth a visit!

Love it! Seeing real Kentucky Bluegrass with Seth Mulder & Midnight Run right here in Munich got us hooked. The Southern flair / recreation is so cool. Food is great, would recommend the thick pizza and wings. Wished they had an American beer brand like Bud/Coors on tap instead of Guiness (still awesome). Can't miss the occasional US bands playing there. What a hidden gem!

Great American live music and I must admit that the atmosphere goes electric here. The food is great and the portions are huge!!! Service is great and very polite people. Have been visiting for a while and will keep going there in future also.

As Southern as you can get, including more Confederate flags than American flags. Not sure either how to feel about that. Food was ok. Fries that came with the bbq burger were like cardboard.

It's a country Bar, I think it's the only one in Munich, pretty good food and lot's of live music events. Don't Judge the cover by it's book, that's my advice.

Unfortunately, my first visit to Peaches will also be my last. While I understand and fully respect the rules of any establishment, the way those rules are communicated matters — and sadly, the bouncer at Peaches completely lacked professionalism and courtesy. Upon entry, I had a water bottle with me, which I was told wasn’t allowed. No issue there — rules are rules. A friend of mine, who previously worked at Peaches, attempted to clarify the situation but was immediately met with unnecessary rudeness. The bouncer dismissed her by telling her to “be quiet and listen more,” a degrading and completely disrespectful remark, especially coming from someone meant to represent the face of the establishment. Witnessing that, I quietly told my friend that I wouldn’t return after such a display of arrogance and disrespect — especially after living in Garmisch for four years. The bouncer overheard my comment and, instead of diffusing the situation, chose to loudly tell me to leave, seemingly in an attempt to embarrass me in front of others. It was unprofessional, unnecessary, and a poor reflection of customer care. Though my friend insisted I stay and we eventually went in, the damage to my impression of Peaches had already been done. A place’s atmosphere isn’t just built by its décor or drinks — it’s built by the people who welcome you at the door. Unfortunately, this experience showed me exactly where Peaches fell short. I sincerely hope management addresses the importance of respectful and professional customer interactions moving forward.

So was visiting on a vacation and happen to stop by this so called gem. If you are foreign to Germany be very observation of thus waitress called Matilda. I had paid for 2 Jaeger bombs and a Sex on the beach after paying 17 euro for my 2 drinks the 3rd came up and I handed her a 20 euro bill. At that point because the waitress was so stressed she couldn't handle the orders she took the 20 and claimed I never paid for my other drinks. BE VERY AWARE if paying with cash you can get scammed out of money and management couldn't do anything about it. When talked when security they stated management would just ignore them as they ignored us.

I was shocked at how unprofessional the staff was at this bar! Completely ignoring customer service. Rude and arrogant staff not only for the tourists, like us! In addition to alcoholic drinks, we ordered a bottle of water and it seemed like an offensive thing to do! Furthermore the minimum amount to pay by card was €20 but they immediately charged this amount without explaining it to the client. As it was the second order I was aware of the price of the drinks, otherwise I would paid that amount. The only polite people were the security staff. We definitely do not recommend this place, especially for tourists!!

We visited this place just to kill time and enjoy Friday night cocktail hour. The person who checks COVID-19 passes at the entrance was not a nice person because he was a pain. We were travellers there and he was demanding us for all kinds of documents including passport etc. Why??? One single proof of identification is not enough? Wasn’t the Ausweis and health insurance card with expiry date, not enough? We somehow got inn because he clearly helped us kill our time in best way possible 😑. Cocktails were great no doubt and ambiance was clearly very peachy with palm trees. Haha! We were in a bit of hurry so we Winded up the night here otherwise I’d love to come back and try some more cocktails.

Overall, this place offers some good cocktail options, and the ambiance is okay during the night. During the summer, you can also appreciate the outdoor seating and soak up the sun. The staff is friendly, but the downside was that our drinks took quite some time to be served, with a wait of over 20+ minutes. Additionally, one of our friends was mistakenly charged for an extra drink, which was a bit unusual.

The atmosphere is good. Friendly staff and suggested me a perfect shot. The cocktails were delicious but are very expensive as compared to the quantity. Overall good vibe. The outdoor seating will close at 23:00 in weekdays.

Delicious cocktails. They have a wide range of cocktails and I am sure they can make any other mix you desire. The price of the cocktails is okay. After 21.00 the lights dim and a DJ plays good music. Not too loud so you can still talk. It is a nice atmosphere. They have comfortable couches.

Cocktail place with lots of seating available and a big variety of standard cocktails in the menu. It felt like catering to masses and can be quite busy. Interior looked a bit worn down. Service was slowish, prices average, quality of cocktails ok.

My second time here. Cocktails were very good and the tortilla chips with cheese was amazing, the portion size was too much for two people, beware :)

I really wanted to give this place a good review. My Friends and I visited this place a few times and always had a fun time with snacks and drinks. Sadly our experience got severely damaged tonight. Today we paid for our food (also left a good tip) and sorted our selves out (how we get home and how to split the price). We were more or less about to leave when the boss/ manager? (We assume) of the place asked us if we want anything else to drink. We answered no and that we just paid and are about to leave. He was suddenly angry and said we have to leave immediately if we’re not going to buy anything else and insisted that a lot of time had passed since we payed (although it was only a couple of minutes). This rude encounter really put a bad vibe on our mood and we don’t think that we’ll come back any time soon. (He insisted the reason we have to leave immediately is because there’s other paying customers waiting outside, which we frankly couldn’t see when we left the place).

All hail the bar wench!! Seriously, if you have any kind of social anxiety or simply aren’t in the mood to deal with unfriendly service, this probably isn’t the place for you. The bar wench got mad at us for not tipping and called us Romanian (shout out to Romania, y’all the goat fr). She’s just part of the experience. Drinks are cheap though!

Rating this bar wity 1 star is already quite generous. The service is horrible, the toilets stink, smell like piss and flies are everywhere. I do not recommend at all!

The place itself smells like piss, the moment we tried to step inside we were blasted with the bad smell and decided to ignore it and sat outside instead. We put in our order, it arrives, my friend gets a beer and asks for a glass which is immediately turned down(meanwhile all the rest have glasses in their tables). 20 minutes later she comes DEMANDING to pay cash, friends didnt have cash on them, they said they gonna run to the atm which she said no you cant do that, so ai paid for everyone. After giving her the money she starts whining about not giving her the tip(the server was the middle aged blonde woman). We never got a receipt either. Absolutely horrid place.

The waitress was absolutely disgusting, she was rude, got mad when asked for the change (she automatically took it as tip), and then straight stole from us: she charged us doble for our drinks and wouldn’t give our money back! We had to call the police, absolutely disgusting service.

Horrible, the service is a joke. We were kicked out because we ordered a beer from a different waiter. Don't go, definitely don't go. The Portuguese waitress offers a genuinely german service, disgusting, unpolite, nasty, and awful.

Nice locals bar for beer and watching football. Gets a lot of smokers going in and out, and smoke drifts inside. If you can put up with that the beer is good, and we tried a few different ones

Great bar - so very friendly and welcoming. Sitting outside with beers on a sunny day watching the world pass is heaven. We went in for one beer and stopped for three. Don't miss it - a proper local bar.

Small but stylish bar with patio seating near the famous Neus Rathaus. Great place to stop in for a quick drink or to spend the better part of the afternoon when the weather is nice.

It is super nice and highly recommend. The bartender is super nice and polite. We have been there as international people and all of us have enjoyed it. The songs are great and not that loud so you can talk with your friends without screaming. The inside is relatively small but you can sit outside as well. The prices are fair, regular Munich prices. All beers are 4.50€. This place will always in my list.

Once again this is a gem the man behind the bar is super helpful and friendly nothing is and was a problem. The beer you must try these are proud Bavarian men who take pride in there work myself and my dad came to Munich for the first time and let me tell you it did not disappoint. This bar has good characters and lovely staff please just give it a try there's a Jürgen Klopp look a like and he even has the character. Cozy little pub with a large selection of whisky. We came past midnight on a Saturday night, the place was pretty chill then, not many people. We selected two scotch whiskeys to try, the price quite reasonable around 6.5eur for 2cl for some decent scotches. Only thing was they they gave us 5min notice before kicking everyone out at 1am!
