Charming spot near the center of Bolzano, just a short walk from the cathedral. The restaurant is located on a picturesque, cobbled street with lovely outdoor seating under the arcades — perfect for people-watching and enjoying the local atmosphere. Service was quick and efficient. I tried a regional specialty: a selection of Hirschknödel (venison dumplings) with different flavors, served with a warm bacon salad — a typical South Tyrolean dish that was both tasty and interesting. I also had the tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, another local classic. The sauce was flavorful and well prepared, though the pasta itself was slightly overcooked and oddly short, as if it had been cut — a bit of a shame. Still, considering the central location and overall good quality of the food, the prices were quite reasonable. A solid and honest place I’d recommend for a casual meal while strolling through Bolzano.

This restaurant is steeped in history. The staff is professional and friendly. The menu is more Südtirol-style than typical Italian. The Wienerschnitzel, made authentically with veal, was tender and fried to perfection. The Knödel also had a unique flavor I haven't tasted in Germany. I would highly recommend this place.

Really beautiful restaurant with a notable history. The food is wonderful and was a Michelin star rated restaurant. I ordered the Gulash, Rigatoni and Schnitzel. All three courses were delicious and hinted an Italian and German fusion. I recommend getting a reservation.

Quaint restaurant featuring local tyrolian cuisine. It’s a vibrant spot and institution in town amongst locals and tourists. I found the dishes good especially the octopus and grilled steak with mushrooms. However, I did find the service a bit lacking, not very detail oriented and one may have to repeat their request. Other than that a must try in Bolzano.

Authentic place with South Tyrolean cuisine. When booking, ask for a table either outside on the street or on the first floor - the second and third floors don’t really have the same atmosphere. The food is excellent, exactly what you need in this region: the must-try canederli (traditional bread dumplings made with speck or cheese and best enjoyed in broth), amazing chanterelle mushrooms (now in season), and veal head. The goulash is wonderful, and even the kids’ schnitzel is absolutely delicious.

The meals we had - ravioli and Schnitzel - were both delicious, portions were nice too, but the inside dining area is uncomfortably hot, however if you opt to eat outside, you need to share the airspace with smokers.

This was a super tasty wiener schnitzel. We actually came without looking at reviews because this place was always packed when passing by, so one day we dropped in earlier for lunch and even then there was no more seating in the outside or first floor, but luckily still plenty of seating upstairs, which also completely filled up rather quickly. Food was very tasty and I regret not ordering more that day as this was one of the best restaurants I dined at while in Bolzano. It was only later while searching for best wiener schnitzl in Bolzano that this place consistently showed up. Also, the environment is quite cozy, and you can imagine the long history of this restaurant. Only downside is service is quite slooooow, which is pretty much standard in this area.

Traditional local cuisine, beautifully decorated with pairings and lot of small details of an alpine Brauhaus. The menu offers daily specials and many local favorites. Food is delicious and even though it’s a popular spot, that was quite packed, it arrived rather quick. It took us some time to get seated.

Perplexity recommended this restaurant to us. I instantly knew that it was a good recommendation because there was a line to get in and there were mostly locals. A very large restaurant with a great hustle and bustle to it. The local plates dominate, and so it was very easy to order. I chose the canederli soup and the milanesa and my wife mini gnocchi with a cheese sauce to die for. Had a great crispy local beer on tap as well. We were driving through from the dolomites down to Venice and it’s just so wonderful in Italy how you can stop in a local town and eat significantly different food two hours away. Just wonderful. Dog friendly too

Came here with a friend on a budget. Blown away by the decor, service, and condiments on the table. Food was affordable enough if one takes only the first course - ranging from 9 to 13 €. We took Schlutzkrapfen with butter and parmesan, a speciality of the region (10.30€), and were not disappointed. Delicious dish with parmesan à volonté, 10/10. Being financially restricted, we asked for tap water. This was duly provided, and there was no issue with it until it was time to pay the bill. We were charged an additional 2€, 1€ per person, for the tap water. Upon inquiry, we were informed that if you take only tap water, and no wine, you are charged for the tap water. While not necessarily an unfair policy, what was however unprofessional, sneaky and somewhat scammy was the fact that this wasn't written anywhere, nor were we informed upon asking for tap water, and confirming that we wanted only tap water. In all other aspects the service and food was impeccable, so I have left the overall rating at 5 stars, and dropped the service rating by only 1 star

Ok this is not and I repeat not a tourist place, if you don't know anyone local you probably wouldn't know about it, they are not prepped up like all other typical tourists attractions. This place was recommended to us by a local (gelato lady up at the top of Bolzano) amazing ice-cream. (How we ended up in this amazing restaurant. Food was just heavenly (steak melted in my mouth.) typical Austrian dish. the carbonara! Now that's how an actual Italian carbonara is made, the schnitzel was nice and tender. The potion sizes were just right so you aren't left hungry and the waiters were friendly and attentive. The whole atmosphere was warm and just 🤌🏽

We had an absolutely delicious dinner here. Every dish was incredible and the wine was good too. They took us without a reservation and soon after, there was a line basically out the door! The Garganelli con ragú di vitello was impeccable. Would recommend!

Unfortunately we were a tad disappointed with both the service and food at Restaurant Laurin. We dined in the main restaurant for the Christmas gala dinner, and although the food was tasty, it was certainly not worth the €100 per person price tag (excluding drinks). Despite the stand out entree, the rest of the courses were underwhelming with many being served luke warm. To top it off, the service was incredibly average—the dishes / courses were not explained, just thrown down on the table. We were rushed off our table, and we had to pour our own wine. Not typical for a restaurant of this calibre and price point. That said, the venue is beautiful, the table was set very nicely and the atmosphere was lovely.

My honey had the best ravioli dish I have ever tasted. It was a wild boar dish that I cleaned up for her. Delicious! My shrimp angel hair dish left me wanting more. More shrimp and more flavor. I ordered what I thought would be a shrimp dinner but it was a pasta dinner with probably ONE shrimp minced up a bit and tossed in. Paid parking available directly across the street, which is nice. Well stocked bar and beautiful grounds with a tree growing in the middle and a large canopy overhead to keep everything sheltered. Sommolier on hand, which is a treat. Beautiful restaurant that has somehow carved out a large park in the city.

We had a great Christmas experience at Laurin Restaurant in Bolzano. Food was divine, atmosphere sophisticate and genuine, personnell friendly. And yes is expensive but the quality of the food is excellent and worth it. Very reccommended.

We booked via the internet a table for a party of 6. After reading the very impressive reports we were shocked with the experience that was far greater than what we had expected. Everything was excellent and our only regret was that we waited until our last night to dine here and so limited us to a single dining delight. Compliments to the chef, the staff and to our waitress Gioia who's attention was first class.

The food was good but the service was only OK (neither not nearly as good as the Lowengrube) although the location is perfect. My wife and I are searching for the perfect risotto and on the Laurin website there is a piece celebrating their famous risotto, "Risotto is on the menu every day at the Laurin". This is why we booked a table here for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were very disappointed to find out when we arrived that neither was risotto on the menu nor was it available. They had delayed our reservation an hour till 8pm which was annoying as we had an early connection the following morning. The reason became clear whilst we were there: the small open kitchen revealed that they lacked the capacity to handle too many orders at the same time. We also spotted a translation blunder on the printed menu where venison had been translated as veal. This dish however was excellent.

Very nice place with outdoor seating. We had to wait for like 20mns to get an outdoor seating but worth the wait. Very good service the food came quite quickly. I had the tuna and egg salad and the Schultzkrafpen (type of pasta with spinach and ricotta without the sauce) and hubby ate the pork ribs which as you can see from the photo devoured them saying they were a delicatessen. Very fairly priced around €20 per person.

Even though it’s a touristy place, the food was way above expectations! The freshly brewed beer was fantastic, the sausages with sauerkraut had just the right balance, and the cranberry sauce with the schnitzel was absolutely unforgettable. We sat outside, enjoyed the atmosphere, and my family couldn’t have been happier with our lunch.

Great place to stop for lunch near the Bolzano fresh fruits and flowers market. The knodel was pretty delicious. But the best is the craft beer house brewed. Super smooth and refreshing on a hot summer day. It might be a little crowded but just get a stray menu, find an empty seat and call for a waiter and order. They are busy but it’s worth the wait. Even if you are not hungry or don’t feel like eating, at least try the beer

Was there during the weekend for a lunch. Nice atmosphere, dinning outside, waitresses organized and friendly. We didn’t wait for so long for the service. Food was delicious. I ordered a bistecca di lombata di vitello - local veal loin steak with chanterelle sauce, potatoes and green beans with bacon; cabbage salad and the sin after - Topfenknödel. Everything was excellent, meet was melting in the mouth basically. Dessert delicious. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Big plus as they work during all the day and they don’t close from 15-18h, as we arrived around 15:30h for a lunch, which is late for the Italian standards 😅 Excellent quality price ratio. We are looking forward to coming back to this restaurant in the future.

Gulash was very tasyt. But the rest of the food was mid. Soup was to salty and portion was small. Special beer was very good.

This is a very nice restaurant. The food is quite good, with some very good prices (as an example we payed 12€ for the spare ribs). The location is also excellent, so if you’re hungry and you’re looking for something nice & not very expensive, then this is the place for you. They also have an excellent artisan beer. Overall a place to try.

Sadly we didn't enjoy our dinner at this place. Our food was pretty average. The pork knuckle was good, unfortunately the rest of our dinner was mediocre at best. The sausage, potatoes and saurkraut dish arrived cold and undercooked. The service was friendly.

The beer was good and it was nice sitting outside. The pretzel was just okay. The mixed salad hit the spot and was fresh. Our other food was really good but I forget what we had. The meat and cheese board looked good. I would say it's a good place to get a beer and check out for the historical aspect.

Great place to take a dinner and drink artesian beer. I tried the goulash and highly recommend it, it’s a good typical dish. The service and atmosphere are amazing.

We ended up coming here twice during our 3 day stay in Bolzano - once planned and the second time due to it being one of the only places open on a rainy Sunday. The stinco was good, the sides were very generous and tasty but unfortunately the skin was not crunchy and inedible. The pork ribs were a little dry but for the value it’s decent. The second time we ordered pulled pork burgers after a long day hike and it was maybe one of the worst burgers we’ve had (not pictured)… I am not sure the pulled pork is actually made in house and the burger bread was soft and soggy and reminiscent of McDonald’s buns. Maybe we got unlucky. Definitely a better place for German food and delicious beer!

We had lunch here. Great local restaurant with nice atmosphere. You can sit inside or outside if the weather is ok. They serve Italian and Austrian food and both were pretty good. The service was friendly and ok. They have a few day specialties, ask about them before you order!

I had to convince my family to wait with dinner till 18:30 (when they open), but it was totally worth it. We were probably the only customers for like half an hour. For that reason the service was really fast. I had the filled pasta with a butter sauce. Despite the interesting looks It was perfectly cooked and delicious!! My family was also really positive about the salmon.

A wonderful and atmospheric spot in the center of Bolzano. We really appreciated that they accept reservations. The menu leans a bit toward the Italian side, but also features seasonal dishes with chanterelles and South Tyrolean specialties. The chanterelle risotto was outstanding — truly a highlight of the evening. Service was warm and personal, and the wine list is excellent, with staff giving thoughtful recommendations. We loved the evening atmosphere: as it got dark, the cozy outdoor seating with warm light felt magical.

The restaurant is located along a narrow alleyway which added to the charm. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick. The food was not mind blowing, but it was filling. I had the spinach and cheese ravioli.

Food was typical südtyrolish (gulash and schnitzell), very honest balance between price and quantity/quality. Personally not fan of these heavy meals but if you have to try, try here, they do it typically. A lot of Italian tourists, quick and nice service and the most important trump up the sleeve, it is open on Sundays !

Was craving a wiener schnitzel as my final meal in Bolzano before leaving (after a long two week business trip). This place turned up on several reviews and I must say it did not disappoint. Food was very good and I would come back. Service was rather slow though, but they were having a busy night with a huge entourage of American tourists.

Best goulash I’ve ever we had! We had the lasagna, steak, ravioli, and schnitzel and it was all fantastic. Our hotel recommended it and we quickly found out why once we tried the food. It’s a great mix of Tyrolean and German food.

Amazing place, with good food. The mixed pasta dish had great taste 4.5/5. Pizza was 3.5/5. Quick service, fast delivery of food, really cheap. Bit loud but part of the experience of all enjoying their lunch brake. Portions were big! All the dishes looked amazing, looking to come back. Go for the traditional dishes!

Hey, we were driving on the way to Germany and looking for the nice place to stop and eat. That one was really good. Fantastic service, good atmosphere, a lot of parking places, spectacular view. Personal speak any languages like English, German or Italian. Food: well we were surprised by the size of the dishes. We orders soups and salad with tuna, - everything was super tasty. My recommendation!

Every dish we tried was perfectly made and uniquely tasty. As for the staff, they were very friendly and kind, welcoming us with a smile and making sure we were comfortable the whole time. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, which made the experience even better. I sincerely thank all the staff for the excellent service and kind attitude. 4.75 overall (could be a 5 with some actual athmosphere or nice views) - insanely good, high quality, authentic and divers cuisine - super humble and unpretentious - good portions for small budget - good drink selection, both local wines and beers - quite decent Kaiserschmarrn - very quick and efficient staff - never too crowded to be served properly - unfortunately in an industrial area ar the edge of the city, basically next to a big parking lot. Try the Speckknödel, one of the many interesting pizza types with local cheeses and sausages, or go straight for the heavy meat dishes. [Card payment possible]

Al Carmine is a restaurant that keeps you coming back for more. The staff was fantastic, offering charming and warm service from the moment we were welcomed until the very end of our meal. The food was truly amazing. My tripe, in particular, was so beautifully prepared, you could tell it was cooked with care and love.

Lovely restaurant up on a hill at Cortina d’Ampezzo. We had a late lunch at 1 pm and the crowd was moderate. The food is hearty and tasty. Do try their venison dishes. The restaurant is really good with their venison dishes. Definitely one of the better Alpine food we have tasted.

We were extremely tired from travelling and jet-lagged and this place was a great comforting spot. Food was warm and delicious. We had the gnocchi and lamb. Service was also excellent. They treated us with great service, not caring how we dressed (like typical tourist with bagpacks).

Our friends brought us here for dinner. That was our best dinner of the week!

Amazing food - we loved the beetroot ravioli, the prawn curry with black rice and the venison ravioli. The owner’s wife was very hospitable - would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Cortina.

The best meal we had in Italy, hands down. The deer with raspberries is a MUST! Everything we ate was jaw-dropping and we can’t stop talking about it. I will be dreaming about this meal! The restaurant itself was cozy and upscale, like an elevated mountain lodge. The staff also made my birthday very special with a candle in our dessert. Thank you, Al Camin!

Michelin level dishes and service without Micheline price. We had the blueberry gnocchi with deer ragu, veal cheek , passion fruit cream in vegetable soup and tart with meringue strawberry. They are all delicious in its own ways. The Veal cheek is so good and the meat basically melt in your mouth. I had to ask them how to prepare for it and see if I can duplicate it at home. The server patiently went through the cooking detail for this particular dish for me.

This rustic mountain restaurant was such an awesome stop after an 8km hike in Alpe di Siusi (Seiser Alm). The food was amazing and also beautifully presented. Everything we had was locally sourced most from the farm we walked through to get to the restaurant! Such a great experience!

Food is incredibly delicious! Host was very nice and recommended us what to order. The mixed flower salad accompanied with their homemade sauces was something I never had before and it was very good. Meat was very tender and full of flavour. Cheese board was also very good. The best one for me was definitely the hay soup and their homemade yogurt. Definitely a great experience and I would return again. Best mountain food ever!! Grazie 🥰

The staff was very friendly, kept checking in and also took time to explain the dishes. the food was delicious - the kaiserschmarrn (eggy pancake) was superb. Nice eggy texture, caramelized apricots, buttery. we would hike back just to eat it. 🤣 we also had the osso buco with polenta and herb and flower salad. Everything was delicious. The price is on the higher side, but I think it's justifiable as the ingredients are uncommon and high quality, and the food was executed and presented beautifully. It was a lovely meal and experience.

Extremely delicious 😋 food. Small portions where quality matters over quantity. The regional dishes are prepared with care and devotion. It's a must on the list of local restaurants, albeit a bit crowded during the season, and you need to stand in line outside. The prices are higher than the competition but it's definitely worth paying more.

The best meal we had in the Dolomites! The herb soup is unlike anything we’ve ever tasted before, so good. The homemade cheeses and ham were so delicious, and the torn pancake dessert was perfect. It rained so we sat inside for a late lunch. Our server was nice & attentive, and the chef checked on us to make sure everything was to our liking.

We had a delicious lunch here. It was foggy so we wanted to dine inside. We got to sit in the small cabin, so cute. Service was speedy and friendly. The rosenspritz was so good. Light and refreshing. The charcuterie plate was delicious. The meats had a nice smoky flavor. I loved the honey and horseradish served with the cheese. The ravioli with cheese made in house was so tasty. Overall a cute place with a wonderful lunch.

Last year we spent the new year eve here and we had a great dinner. We came back again to try their “a la carte” menu. They don’t have the common dishes and everything is good. They also have barbecue. Don’t miss the kaiserschmarren!!

I was with a larger party and I made the mistake of ordering a burger. The rest of the food at the table was okay, good even. The 4 people who had the burger are still traumatized. Please take the burger off the menu or make it edible. The meat is the most awful slop I've had in a while. Fries were good :)

Great and friendly service, I got the sausage with chips and my friend got the white sausage. Super large proportions with reasonable prices, great beer and very cozy and welcoming environment. Would recommend to anyone looking for a hearty meal and drink in Cortina!

We wanted to order wurstel sandwiches and the waiter was trying to convince us with another kind of sandwich that at the end he forgot the main order and had to wait for more time to receive it. Their fries are so tasty and fresh. Place is ok, not very expensive, service is not good. The lady there is so tough and not even smiling to anyone in the place. Didn't like the service at all.

Very clean, great views, good value. Delicious breakfast! Everyone was very nice. Except the manager - she was a bit annoying, made faces and rolled her eyes on a couple of occasions - just not a pleasant person. Otherwise the rest of the staff were extremely sweet and helpful

Stayed a couple of nights in June. Service was excellent. We had one meal in the restaurant which was great, little pricey but excellent food. Great morning breakfast. Location worked well for day excursions. The view was awesome from the hotel location. Room was comfortable and clean. My only complaint is the one lane path you drive up to get there.

This is a review of the restaurant. So we asked for a reservation and they said they were fully booked except for one left at 7:45. We got here at 7:45 and we were one of two groups that were here. A total of no more than eight people were here. For the remainder of the next 1.5 hrs, nobody showed up. We had to sit in the back room because they were too busy for us at 7:45 ( mind you only 6 people here). So we had to sit in a room. We could not sit outside, even though there was plenty of seating. It was absolutely shocking to see this. That being said, the food definitely was worth it as much as I would like to give them three stars, for the fact that they stuck us in a back room when nobody was in the restaurant, the food definitely was worth the five stars. The first course was homemade deer Prosciutto served with homemade horseradish and pickles. It was a small serving of bread that was absolutely amazing. The second course included homemade pasta made with local cheeses. Also very good! The main course was the play, which was by far the most tender, flavorful beef we’ve ever had . I highly recommend you get it . The second main course was polenta with a cream sauce, shaved with black truffles and chanterelles. A poached egg on top. I have to say that that was the most delicious polenta I’ve ever had A bottle of wine and they have a very good selection of wine here ranging from €30-€700 . Definitely a must try while here in Cortina D’‘ampzzo. The chef’s name is Luca Menadri and and he has obviously been more trained in the culinary arts. But just remember, you might end up in the back room with no view with an entirely empty at restaurant if you don’t reserve in advance !

This place is absolutely amazing! On the outside, the hotel itself is beautiful and the fact that it’s surrounded by views of the mountains makes it extra special. Inside the hotel is cozy and beautifully detailed, the rooms are very clean and they provided us with razors, shampoo, hair caps for the shower, and more. We chose to eat in the hotel restaurant, and let me just say, this is the BEST food I have ever eaten! They gave us each a complimentary beat soup which was out of this world delicious (didn’t know soup could taste this good), and the service was amazing, staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great too, only a 5 minute drive from the main part of town. If you’re looking for a place to stay, or even just a place to eat out, this place is it! Would happily stay here, and eat here again.

BAD. I ordered spinach and cheese dumplings. While ordering, i confirmed with the waiter if it is ravioli and he said yes. Yet at the end it was the grilled camerbert arrives and the waiter insisted it was ravioli. Seriously??? Something wrong with translation or you joking on tourist?? Really bad encounter during my trip to italy. Carbonara and octopus were fair. Nothing special. Not recommended at all.

Soooo good! Melon starter was amazing, I’m assured the Octopus was too. Goulash and Veal for mains 😋 so good, be rude not to have desert 😃

We’ve spent 3 weeks in Bolzano cycling. We’ve been back to this restaurant 4 times. Service Seriously Good. Charming service orientated staff. Delightful young men. Smiles and laughter abound. Ah the food. Try the home made tagliatelle. Ask for recommendations as to the local wines. Enjoy.

Service was friendly and food was about standard level for this area. Passed by on a weekday afternoon and was able to get inside for a meal.

I've been here for a quick coffee stop / beer / drink during a skiing trip in February. The service is great and location is amazing, especially the deck / louge chairs. The price for espresso coffee is about 2€, cappuccino about 3€. Medium beer is 7€

This was a beautiful authentic Italian restaurant with fantastic food and genuine service. The bread was light and very fresh with fantastic flavour. Literally no need to add anything as it was gorgeous on it's own! Same could be said about the flavour of my pasta which was clearly freshly made, but the additional of a delicious sauce plus copious amounts of fresh truffles made it to die for!! Topped off with a freshly mixed Aperol Spritz and our last meal in Italy was definitely one to remember. Thank you.❤️

This place should get move love. 4.4 stars at the time of writing. Do I find that fair? No. It's a solid 4.8 Food is amazing. Staff is great, they know what they are doing and are fast. They know how to run a service. Prices are very affordable. Price to value is amazing. It's worth taking a detour and visiting this place.

We tried this place out after reading on the positive reviews and the food was indeed delicious. The service was okay, could be better. The waiter didn’t understand when we ordered hot tea but didn’t ask us to clarify and instead we were left wondering for quite some time about our drink. Only after 15-20mins when we asked and she said that she didn’t understand the order. But she apologized and brought us the hot tea. Other than that, the food came quite quickly and both of our dishes were delicious. We ordered the truffle pasta & lasagna. Wouldn’t mind coming back here again if we’re in the area.

Restaurant with an incredible view on a clear day! You can even watch solo paragliders. Food was good n reasonably priced. Service was great too. There are options for ala carte & tasting menu. Take note that the restaurant is ONLY accessible via the Kronplatz cableway which costs eur35 return journey per person. Besides dining at Alpinn, you get to walk around the area to enjoy the stunning view. I recommend coming here only if weather is very nice to make it worthwhile.

We booked “the View” portion of the restaurant to overlook the incredible mountains after a lovely cable car ride up to this restaurant! By the end of the five-course meal, we were full! The flavors were incredible, fresh, and unique. The gentleman had a great time ordering “blind drinks” and hearing the passionate cocktail master explain his creations. The connected Lumen museum of mountain photography was a nice extension of this food experience! Even though you can’t drive there (which we learned the hard way), the cable car ride was such a fun part of the experience!

We weren't planning to go out for dinner but our hotel restaurant close on Tuesdays, so we asked chatgpt what we could find in Cortina D'ampezzo with vegan food and Fvsion was the first option, honestly: the best. There are good options for vegan food and I need to say: everything we ordered was really good. I highly recommend it and the best part: you can take your dogs with you. For sure, one of the best options in Cortina for Japanese vegan food. We also had a Miso soup and the Bao with vegan pulled pork that we completely forgot to take pictures because it was amazing! This is a Very nice, upscale restaurant with good quality, well presented food and drinks. We had udon noodles (great) and sushi (average). The cocktails were nicely proportioned. The dessert was very artistically presented. What sets this restaurant apart though is the outstanding service, with all the staff very pleasant and helpful. At least from our experience, such quality of service is not the norm in Italy. It is a little bit out of the way from the main strip in town, but not very far. Overall, very much worth a visit.

The waitress only asked me still or sparking and brought out a 2L water glass bottle, then charge me 4 euro!!! I am a solo diner, how did they expect me to finish 2L of water? There was no way I can carry it back to my hotel, I came in limping with a walking cane and leg injury. Very insensitive and not cool. Should have inform me beforehand. I also had to wait for the table a long time with leg injury even though I booked the table in advance. Not to mention that she seated the people who came after me. Unacceptable! Food was okay, I was desperate for noodle and rice.

Our group of four arrived to the area late on a Monday afternoon. After checking into our hotel, we struggled to find a restaurant that was still open. We called Turmwurt and reserved a table for four at 8:00. We're so glad that we did because the food, service, and atmosphere were all so wonderful! Highly recommend for authentic local cuisine. They're closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Saw this restaurant on our first day in cortina on Monday. It was completely packed so we elected not to dine in that day. Came back 2 days later but at 6 not realizing that the full menu isn’t served until 7. We were hungry after a 10 mile hike so decided to stay. Ordered the lasagne and the Nuremberg sausages with sauerkraut. Both were sufficiently satisfying.

Dinner at in viaggio is an experience. It's a small intimate resto with 5 tables in a very dark setting that provides for a tasting menu. The dishes are served by the chef himself and a quite creative. The wine pairing was top notch though I wished there were more local wines included. As for the food, though all of elements seemed interesting I felt that the flavors were quite subdued . Personally I wished they packed more flavor punch. The service was patient and friendly from the 2 team members I met.

We had a fantastic experience, one of the best gourmet restaurants we have ever visited. The food was excellent, beautiful flavours and textures with original wines. Exciting and original combinations but never artificial. The service was outstanding as well, both professional and informal. We felt very welcome. The langoustines were interesting and delicious but seemed more like an appetiser than secondi. The tableside Tiramisu was an absolute delight as before. Great service and very pleasant staff. The view is fantastic from the top floor.

Beautifully restored and decorated old house on a hill overlooking Cortina .. fantastic views Excellent service - it was raining when we arrived and staff came out with umbrellas , food service was equally professional and friendly . Davide served the best Tiramisu at the table - a first for us. The food was delicious and reasonable . The risotto with caviar and the artichoke ravioli were memorable. The pike went really well with the orange sauce and the langoustine with crispy pasta was imaginative . A truly must try in Cortina.

Our favourite restaurant in the Dolomites - we had to come back on our last night as well. More of a fine dining experience but most people are in hiking gear so the environment feels a lot more relaxed. Service is on point - super friendly and prompt. The food is so good - the veal, fries and smoked ravioli are definitely the highlights. The crispier parts of the veal tastes like KFC which is so good! I personally wasn’t a fan of the mushroom pasta but I hear it’s one of the most popular dishes.

Every dish was a hit in its own way: the Taglioni with truffle was beautifully rich; the activated charcoal ravioli were like having smoky BBQ but somehow without any meat (also they present it in a smoky bell jar); the calenderi on vegetables was soft and a delicious mix with the hint of fennel; the fried carciofi (artichoke) with fondue and egg and truffle was an unexpectedly marvelous pairing; the peanut Bavarian cream dessert was also a flavorful treat. One seems plenty for two people. Large hot rectangles of lasagna were delicious and comforting. Their generous salads are fresh and crisp. All the servers were working hard and incredibly busy- but without clear info about guests waiting to be seated, they were often pulled away to sort out the tables and reservations. Overall, a really fun and filling destination with somewhat chaotic though well meaning service.

We visited in late December - It was packed and we didn't have a reservation (Call ahead for a reservation!), but we got lucky and a nice German couple invited us to sit at the bar with them. The pizza was unreal - I'd put it top 5 that I've ever had - Thin crust, well done w/ delicious toppings. Excellent vibes, great service, highly recommend!

We showed up after seeing positive reviews on yelp, and were told that we were welcome so long as we could wrap up before 8pm so that reservation holders could have thier table. So make sure to call ahead! We had a fabulous meal. We ordered two, very reasonably priced and delicious handmade flatbread pizzas. We also order the salad, which was much larger than we expected, along with the house wine. at the end of the meal we said: "wish we had tried this on the first night of our stay! Usually its hard to find a bad pizza, someone I managed. I should of just heated up water and made noodles with my camper stove, would of tasted better.

The place is lovely and cozy. The stuff is one of the best you can expect. They definitely know how to do their job, highly skilled people, from the waiters to the chefs, as we knew and spoke to all of them. The dishes are rich in taste as well as in quantity. The gnocchi (Italian dumplings) are simply perfect, delicious! If you have a doubt for the pizza, I'm happy to say that here you will taste one of the best pizzas in your lives, because the pizza maker is from south Italy, were the pizza is the queen of the food! I would put 10 stars for the review if possible.

We were looking for a more local place and the reviews seemed positive. We ate lunch on the earlier side so there were a lot of empty tables, mostly booths, but when we walked in we were pointed to the booth right next to the front door and felt the cold every time folks walked in. We ordered two pizzas and a glass of wine, the pizzas were good and served quickly. The check came and it was double what I expected, the money was taken out of my hand before I could ask and the waiter left quickly but I asked for the bill and found that added to our bill was an expensive 3rd lunch, the second I mentioned the waiter apologized and corrected it but the way it all transpired was odd - he was not going to give me the receipt until I asked. I know mistakes happen but the poor seating and the doubling of the bill did not sit well with us.

The Pizza was delicious and also the pasta i had for "desert". I have been many times in italy, and this was one of the best pizzas i have ever had. Napoletana at its finest! So you really cant argue about the food. Its just good. The atmosphere is maybe not what everybody likes, but personally i liked it alot. Its authentic. Many locals eat there, children playing in front of it, it was very crowded and loud inside, but thats what a pizzeria should be in my opinion. If you look for a calm place for a romantic candlelight dinner, its maybe not the best choice. But if you look for an authentic italian pizzeria with authentic and delicious food then you will like this place. The service was good and charming, i liked the authenticity here aswell. You dont get treated like a king here,its not snobby at all, but neither are they unfriendly. Not at all. It was very friendly and we got exactly what we hoped for. Oh and yes the prices are very fair, especially for this quality. 10/10 would come again!!

Amazing family run roman pizzeria nestled in a small town of really tasty roman style pizzas and the minestrone soup was a family favourite! We also had Hugo and french fries all very very tasty. It's a no nonsense kinda place with really tasty food and kind smiling service, out door and indoor seating options seemed to be a favorite of the locals too.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, not exaggerating We arrived on a Wednesday as walk-ins. No problem. There’s a good drink selection, from which we ordered beer and a drink. The menu is filled with amazing-sounding pizzas. We took the house pizza and the “Wald” pizza. Honestly is was amazing. The dough was just right, and everything is hand made from the moment you order. Service was good and the dessert was good as well. Amazing value for money. 45€ for two drinks, water, two pizzas, coffee and dessert.

Most pizzas are nice. Stay away from the pizza with french fries: you get plain pizza and fries on separate plates and you need to mix it by yourself. The pasta is swimming in sauce so isn't recommended as well. Service is mediocre.

Dinner was awesome, we had the entrecôte and steak and both were very very good! Nice place and lovely service.

During our holidays we have eaten here two times. Very good pizzas with good veggie choice. For our children they had great spaghetti bolognese. Good value for price. I would really recommend it.

We came here around 2 years ago and remembered it as being so delicious. We came back and it was still good. The steak is really good so is the pizza. The schnitzel was a tiny bit too salty but ok. All in all this place is really great.

Perfect stop for lunch in the town of Egna on our way to Munich. Recommend the mixed salad, four cheese pizza, mushroom ham and artichoke pizza and the Diabola spicy pepper and salami pizza. The house rosso or bianco wine is a little over 1€. Oven fired pizzas were served family style and quickly. This was part of a tour group for Rick Steves. If we were to order on our own, the calzone looked delightful! Plenty of seating inside and outside. The outside area was very pleasant to enjoy some sunshine and see the surrounding town buildings.

Stopped in en route to Munich, what a pleasant environment, wonderful staff, and most delicious pizza!!! Affordable to boot!
