Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Le Touquet – Paris-Plage

Had lunch there as a family with two young children. We had three set menus (one child is practically a teenager and eats like one..) and one child menu. The fixed menu was indeed a good value for money as the portions were generous and we were absolutely stuffed at the end. The fish soup (starter) was absolutely delicious and we were even offered a refill. The main course (fish fillet with steamed veg and garlicky mash) was again generous and simply but effectively cooked. Dessert was classically French which was so appropriate for such a classic restaurant. I absolutely loved my île flottante which didn't come in the classic quinell form but as a big wedge of a marshmallow meringue. The creme anglaise was just perfect!! The restaurant also has a fishmonger attached where you can buy fresh fish or ready to cook meals and also a bar area where you can enjoy a glass of wine and the bar menu.

We had a superb lunch to celebrate my OH Birthday. Booked in advance online easily. Excellent meal with great service and friendly, helpful staff. Perard are well known for Seafood and have a wide range available. The Fruits de Mer was a cornucopia, including Lobster, Crab, Oysters, Prawns and others too. Excellent Sancerre to accompany. Not the cheapest but certainly one of the best. Highly recommended. Best to get a Taxi as parking is limited and short term.

Looks like this restaurant has lost its magic. Half empty on a Friday night. Service was pretty arrogant and the food was pretty underwhelming. The place needs a good clean and a bit of care. One of the 1st thugs to notice as you arrive is that all the front windows are all dirty (unusual for France). This sets the precedent as to what’s inside. Service is nothing special considering the prices charged. It’s a shame as I’ve always been a great fan of this restaurant. In fact is was one the main reasons to drive from the UK for the weekend

Enjoyed are first meal here so much went back two days later. The fish soup which they keep refilling is excellent and the lobster bouilllabaisse was delicious. The fish platters looked amazing. Great atmosphere and good service.

I recently dined at a fish restaurant with my girlfriend, and I have to say, it was a great experience. We opted for the "Menu Perard," and it did not disappoint. The fish soup was exceptionally delicious, with one small hiccup - our spoons had some chocolate residue on them, which detracted slightly from the overall dining experience. For the main course, I tried the tagliatelle with salmon, it was incredibly tasty. My girlfriend went for the fish with legumes, and she thoroughly enjoyed her choice. Now, let's talk dessert. The Lemon meringue pie, as seen in the picture, was nothing short of extraordinary. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and I definitely plan to visit again.

Food very good. My fish was cooked properly and served at the correct temperature. Sides were good too. The service from the young professional team was 5 stars. We went in the grill room. I wanna come back to have crepes Susette prepared at the table.

We had lunch here in the nice conservatory area. High price reflected in the level of cooking and food quality. We liked all our dishes, especially the oysters, tuna, and lobster salad. The portions were decent as well. Will come back here next time we are in Le Touquet.

We enjoyed our visit at Les 2 Moineaux very much! Food was very good, and the atmosphere was cozy and warm! Service was slightly slow at the beginning, but picked up the pace later. Prices were reasonable given the location.

The sort of place you want to keep to yourself. Small, intimate, no overpowering menus, just real, delicious, French food. Need more be said? On leaving, turn left, take a few steps down to the famous beach, a short stroll along it in s bracing wind, snd you can do it all again the next day. Bon appetit!

This little cosy restaurant caught me by surprise! Delicious food with beautiful presentation. We loved the mushroom mousse, crab samosa, duck leg and deconstructed lemon tart. Service was lovely as well. Highly recommend!

Lovely dinner at Les 2 Monieaux and very reasonably priced. The beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked and the ratatouille was beautiful. I also thought the wine selection by the glass was fantastic, I really enjoyed the champagne and the french sauvignon blanc. My partner also thought the selection of non alcoholic drinks was really well considered. The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was lovely.

Nibbles (olives, peanuts and pretzels) to start were an unexpected nice touch but selection was pretty average. Good food but not sure about serving all main courses with the same vegetables and polenta, what may suit meat may not fish. Vegetables didn’t have any salt or seasoning. Dessert was nothing special and a disappointing end to the meal. Polite, professional service when someone was available but it was too much for 3 waiters to handle and many details were overlooked.

High class establishment with high-quality food and top-notch service. Quite affordable for what you get in return! The entrée of my menu mainly consisted of a rich hummus made of peas, some coppa and some crackers. The main dish was some tender chicken (cuit à la française) playfully arranged on the plate. To finish I had some crème brûlée which wasn't really brûlée but still was great. The pear slices and pear pieces, teamed up with the crumble to elevate the crème to a higher level.

Simply fantastic. My broken French sufficed, and I was helped out where it didn’t by the great staff. Foie gras, lamb and a chocolate desert to die for from one of the Prix Fixe, pea and ham soup, dorade and yet another chocolate masterpiece from the other. Excellent wines by the glass too (the Bourgogne exceptional).

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 course dinner at Restaurant Le Paris. Every dish was well thought out and they brought out the flavours of every ingredient. The staff were very friendly and the service excellent. Great value for money for the quality of the food and service. We will definitely return if we are in the area again. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this restaurant. Best meal we had in Le Touquet for quality of cooking, food and ambience. Ideally sit downstairs. Definitely book. Had a marsannay rose by Bruno Clair which was a great recommendation considering the red is more than twice the price.

Been coming for years - savoury and sweet crepes, waffles, ice cream and of course Orangina from a bottle! Fabulous.

We fancied a light meal due to the heat. This little place serves amazing crepes and the staff are fantastic. I chose ham and cheese for the main and sugar and Grand Marnier for sweet. All washed down with a sweet cider. Please find this little place..you will not regret it.

Amazing place! The food was delicious, both savory and sweet. My son has celiac disease and I heard this place makes gluten-free crèpes. They were very conscientious about making and packing the crèpes separately. We were all extremely satisfied and grateful.

We have been regular customers at this restaurant over a number of years. We have always loved it but this last experience was a little disappointing. We had the €60 Italian experience meal and did not feel it was value for money. The beef dish was very dry and required a sauce. Also the restaurant used to serve small extra surprise dishes between meals, but there were none of these. The service was fine but overall we feel the restaurant has gone backwards since our last visit a year ago.

Outdoor seating, but only a few tables are in the shade. Food is good; prices are on the high side. Charging 2€ for a carafe of tap water is a bit Belgian.

What a great ambiance this place has. The food and setting are perfectly matched and the waiting staff were exceptional for our party of 14. Very very good.

Lunch on our last day in Le Touquet and I wish we had found this restaurant earlier. It was by far and away the best meal we had had in this town.

I was lucky to spend my birthday at Flavio, one of the best restaurants if not the best in Le Touquet for its ambiance, food and amazing hospitality. It's noteworthy that Serge Gainsbourg piano, he started there when is was a club in the 50s, is on display. Incredible decor. A must if you visit Le Touquet

This was a recommendation from our Airbnb host. It did not disappoint. Both the food and wine were excellent, as was the service. We had an early dinner so they were able to accommodate us but if you prefer to eat later would highly recommend that you book.

An upmarket restaurant with a beautiful interior. The food was excellent for the price, £110 for two, with a few glasses of wine. Two courses. Service is efficient if not over friendly, but don’t let that put you off as the food and place make it worth it.

I first stopped at this restaurant for a coffee and the treat of chocolate and macaroons enticed me deeply... so much so, that I went back the next day. Of course it was only a matter of time to eat in this fabulous restaurant and everything was just perfect, from the piano man, to the drinks, to the food, and the service. How disappointing. An old restaurant still locked in the past. They are serving good products like sea food but all way too salted. Which is making just difficult to finish your plate. Everything is old style. The decoration, waiters, cutlery, food style… Customers are following the same style by the way. No judgement. Just a fact. We were here to appreciate the sea food in a gastronomic restaurant. Not the best choice. Disappointing. Sorry for the picture. Not usual for me. Just pointing to this thing that was on top of asparagus. Not good and such a weird thing just lying on those not in a nice way at all. The famous cherry on the cake.

We went there with the family and we all liked the resturant and their food. Even if they dont have any kids menue, the children had one off the dishes but a bit smaller prepared for them. Just also to mention the excellent service. We will be back.

Had lunch here following a personal recommendation. We were delighted with the food (razor clams and chorizo followed by sea bass served with a velvety smooth bisque) and the service was impeccable (friendly and efficient). Not many other diners so can’t really comment on the atmosphere, but we will definitely return when next in the area.

A nice restaurant near the beach with a nice and sophisticated menu. The inside is calm but decoration is classic (and start to get old). Nonetheless the manager will let you notice if u didn't finish the appetizers without any sympathy.

Our visit was the fourth time we’ve been and every time it’s been wonderful. Great ambience, fab selection of wine and absolutely amazing food. The starter I had this latest visit, of a beef tomato with summer fruits and feta, was one of the nicest things I have ever eaten!

Found this place on Tripadvisor and gave it a try. Good and interesting menu. Beef shin and Cod mains were both good . The puddings were the stand out course for us. Maybe try and get a mid range beer on tap rather than heavy duty bottles- the bottle of Cote du Rhone for 30€ was decent though

What a great little restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating, assisting with my poor French and giving helpful explanations of the dishes on offer. The atmosphere was quiet and warm and the food and wine were excellent, especially the braised beef. I can't praise it enough, thank you for a great experience 🙂

My friends and I had a great meal here in Jun-24. Le Ricochet let us reserve a large table and were very patient while we were ordering (our grasp of French wasn't great!) The food was high quality, reasonably priced, and the vegetarians in our group were happy. There was a mix up with one of the orders but this was resolved quickly with no additional charge so it wasn't a problem. Would visit again/recommend!

From start to finish, we had a lovely evening. The starters and desserts were exquisite and some of the best we have had! Service was brilliant and we were well accommodated. Things that stopped me from giving a 5-I had to pour the wine myself a couple of times and the mussels, though delicious, were in a bland sauce. Thoroughly recommend the feta and goats cheese dishes!

We found the food just average, but were not lucky as we started feeling sick and nauseous a couple of hours after eating, even though we did not eat the same dish but they were common ingredients.. thanks god we could get some pills to deal with that situation otherwise, we could certainly be sick. on that basis difficult to recommend.

We were so excited to finally find a place with vegan options in France that we decided to add 1h to our trip to come to Le Touquet! However the meal was really disappointing. The samousas were delicious however everything else was not good. I ordered Bobun with tofu. The tofu and samousas on top were okay but the soup was SO SWEET you could not eat it -i love sweet and sour and I'm used to sweet savoury taste but that was simply not edible. I mentioned the over sweet taste to the waitress. She replied that how they make it soup. And shrugged and added "j'sais pas", that's how it is, implying the problem was with my taste buds and not the food served. We often eat out and I've never sent a dish back but in this case I wish they offered the replace it instead of dismissing me. The other dish we tried was sauteed noodles and that was so plain and boring that a 1st year uni student could make it better :). Burger wasn't vegan btw because there's egg in the bun :( Overall a very disappointing experience

I found this restaurant from google review and we intentionally made a detour to Etaple Sur Mer when we drove from Calais to Dieppe. We are so glad that we had the opportunity to eat there. I was impressed by the creativity of the menu. I loved the taste of the food and the mix of flavour. The restaurant also offered me two appetisers out of the menu for tasting, and I found them both superb. Even the bread was delicious. The salle is simple, which it was perfect since I was not dressing particularly elegant. Overall I felt very well and I had a great experience. Really suggested. Compared to the other options in the Touquet area, the ratio quality/price here is just perfect.

We stumbled upon this new restaurant, as both fish restaurant across the street were fully booked. It did not disappoint, quite the opposite, actually, it turned out to be one of the best meals we have ever had in the area around Le Touquet. The menu is small, but all dishes were equally delicious, and a feast to the eye. The fish we ate was so fresh that 12hours ago, it hadn't been caught yet.

I ordered the lamb. Very tender. Expected more flavor, not enuf seasoning; mushroom starter was excellent and my husband’s egg plant too. It took a long time to clear our dinner plates; service was sporty. Surprised it is Michelin starred as I have had as good and better in Paris who do not have that award. Ice cream was also very good, but translation to questions about menu was also difficult.

Just as an update following the review - the hotel manager has been very proactive to follow up and discuss the feedback. I do think they take it seriously which is a good sign for the future. Took my wife for a birthday treat for 3 nights in March 2025. Booked a superior room. On arrival staff were very attentive and the trip showed great promise. We wanted to relax and unwind and the spa was an important aspect. The room was a little small. Separate loo but without sink or bin which was inconvenient. Bathroom was lovely. Bed was two separate mattresses which is not our preference. The staff in general were helpful and polite but it seems like it was a training period as they were quite inexperienced and the level of service throughout was therefore not what I would expect from such an establishment. The mini bar milk was not replenished. Neither the crisps. At breakfast it took sometime to work out that large teapots were available. But even then they came with little water. So one had to request several times for a refill. Tables were too small. A yoghurt was off. Sausages were not suitable for breakfast. The egg boiler was not working on the first day but was on the second day and I turned it to 90 as instructed and went away only to find it had been turned off again. So I had to guard the machine to boil my eggs! No advice available on how long was required for this machine for a soft boiled egg. A manager arrived and did offer to help me but he did not know how long it would take either so I thought it better to remain. Labels here and there incorrect. All small things but which speak of a lack of attention to detail or inexperience. When in the bar I spilt my cocktail over myself. The rather stressed young barman did not check I was ok merely barked ‘move’ so he could mop the carpet. I hadn’t had but a sip of the drink but no request to see if I wanted it replaced either paid or unpaid. Two vouchers were given for a coupe of champagne in the room card but for the casino. When we asked at the hotel bar we had a brusque redirection. We visited the casino and perhaps I am out of touch but there were only two tables in operation. The rest was slot machines. It was not a pleasant environment and spoke of faded glory. We enquired on our first day about horse riding or land yachting and it took a day to respond. By which time it was too late to organise anything. The spa was quite small, the chairs for resting in were uncomfortable, the pool was also small. One shower available in the spa area only which was not able to project water far enough for a shower. No cold plunge. The largest space was central and largely empty. An odd design. The hammam, as is the way with many modern designs, was uncomfortable and one could not lie down. The shower head in the hammam was broken and did not work. A lot of small issues which when compounded began to irritate. The lift reminded me of the Sirius Cybernetics Corp happy vertical people transporters - I expect doors to open and close in a lift. Maybe I’m just easily irritated these days but was hoping for a better overall experience.

The hotel is basically not bad in concept. But there are some unpleasant moments. 1. There are a lot of uncovered products at breakfast, for example cheese and bread and fruit platters and flies crawl on them!!! On the first day I left a request at the reception to close the cheeses at breakfast... but of course no one did anything. (see photo). 2. The air conditioning system is very complicated.. it turns off at night and it is hot to sleep... no matter what I pressed, it did not turn on.. maybe they turn it off centrally of course, I do not know. 3. The hotel could have put a bidet in the toilet, after all, the French invented them and the bathrooms are huge and there is plenty of space in them.

Popped in for a pre meal drink as going to a restaurant nearby. Beautiful bar with excellent service and choice of drinks. We had a superb Pouilly Fume and some Kirs. Presented with a range of olives and nuts..Highly recommended

We had booked this hotel as part of a recent trip to France. Unfortunately we have to return to the UK early. We therefore had to cancel our booking. We gave over a week’s notice. The hotel refused to refund our prepayment or any portion of it. That was their right but it was disappointing they felt unable to make some sort of gesture.

Young Staff extremely rude on check inn more concerned with the Christmas advert they were filming , no concern on the fact the restaurant had no bookings for evening meal didn’t offer alternatives or even suggest room service just walked away . Rooms getting shabby need another refurb .air conditioning does not get room cold breakfast is awful baked beans look like they have been re used multiple times , flys on open food .

We have done at Le Jardin many times and enjoyed our return after a few years. The menus were varied and offered extensive choices. The staff were friendly and efficient and thankfully bilingual!

Le Jardin, The Garden, does NOT have a garden. There is a terrace on the back on planks that have seen better days. You look at a busy roundabout and an extremely ugly building. It is all very pretentious, and overpriced for what it was. The food was good, but you don't want to be hungry, the portions are rather small.

We loved dining with you.Kenny spilt his wine over the table but it was cleaned up with no fuss by the waiting staff and we were moved very quickly to a clean table.Thank you because he was so embarrassed but you made him feel at ease.This is the 7 th time we have dined here and will be returning again.A fabulous birthday and anniversary celebration meal.

Very sad hope it returns to its former glory soon x

The price/quality of the food and drinks is on the high side

Le Toqué, Le Touquet — 4 Stars in Theory, 3 in Spirit Prices? Spicy. Vibe? Polished — like a coastal playlist that knows it’s being judged. The tartare and beer get along like old friends who maybe kissed once. No regrets, just decent chemistry. Inside, it’s giving “French chic” with a touch of tourist gloss. You’ll sit comfortably. You just might not remember it tomorrow. And that’s the thing: the food is fine, but familiar. You’ve had it before — maybe in Paris, maybe in Lille, maybe in your better dreams. Nothing wrong, nothing bold. It ticks boxes, but forgets to leave a mark. Verdict: A soft 4 if you’re in the mood. But deep down? It’s a strong 3 — missing a little soul, a little “why this place.” Still, you’ll leave fed and sunlit. Which, honestly, isn’t nothing.

The coffee was o.k. could fill the cup a tab more coffee. We both stare at each other, like that's it?! There are ample seating outside. On the main door to the restaurant, it states the server speaks English, that is not the case. I think they want to know who are tourist from the local 🤔

Went in on a Sunday pretty quiet. Greater with lacklustre. Wife order moule marinere I ordered the burger. We both left over half our food due to flavour and quality.

If you prefer more coffee on the plate than in the cup, this is the spot — the service is so bad it feels less like hospitality and more like they’re daring you to come back.

Food here is great and the staff friendly and helpful. It can get pretty busy here. So be prepared to wait a little for a table.

Initially we were greeted warmly and staff were happy to invite us in. Things went downhill quite quickly with us waiting far too long for drinks and, when they arrived, mine was incorrect. We then waited for a long time between starters and mains and when my main arrived, it was, again incorrect. When the correct meal came out it was exceedingly hot and the pasta was baked together making it stodgy and more difficult to eat. A huge amount of cured ham was placed on top but, because the food was so hot, the ham started to cook, changing the taste completely. When the waitress brought my dish she placed it abruptly and said “do not touch it” then disappeared. I tried to call her back because she had taken my cutlery with the other incorrect meal. She ignored me and my husband had to get the attention of the barman. I ordered the same drink and again we waited a long time and when it arrived it was incorrect. The barman apologised but none of the waiting staff did the same. My husband’s steak was almost raw having asked for it to be cooked medium. The toilets smell very unpleasant both outside on the way down and in the cubicles. The positives were that when my drink was correct it was good, the starter was very nice and my husband’s sauce was also good. Overall the service was poor seemingly as soon as something was wrong and brought to our attention. It appeared that staff felt it was our fault and were surly and brusk with us. We would not return here and agree with many other reviews stating similar experiences.

Nice Restaurant in the main strip. Serving hot or cold food and drink. Crepes are nice quality and it's nice to sit , relax and enjoy the vibe. Gentle music being played. Tables in and outside. Reasonable prices for the area. Friendly service. Clean facilities and access for everyone with disabled toilets based on the ground floor. Overall the quality was good and I would recommend it.

This was a lovely place to have a spot of lunch. Myself and six friends all enjoyed our meals. The service was excellent

We stopped for ice cream and I must say the were very good. We took 1 chocolat liégeois and 1 with 3 different flavours : passion fruit, lime and mandarine. The mandarine flavour is exceptionally good! I gave a 3 star because no napkins where given nor glass of water with the ice-cream. Also my spoon was not totally clean.

Food poisoning! I had the mussels and i was very sick that night. HOWEVER, Service was very good - fast and friendly (except the hostess that was a hit sour). Pity!

Best breakfast I have ever had in France! Delicious little bowl of fruit salad, orange juice, fresh baguette with selection of jams and nutella PLUS an light fluffy omelette with bacon.And the Grande Creme Cafe totally hit the spot, so much we ordered another! All that, and friendly, attentive staff and a view of the sea. What more could you ask for?

We've been visiting this establishment at regular intervals for years, the gastronomic quality increases from year to year, coupled with the good wine selection and good friendly service, a recommendation. The truffle risotto with morels was a delight ... we'll be back, of course...

Surprisingly good and extremely busy for a beachside restaurant at lunch

Lunch - mussels (110 of them!) and brioche with all the trimmings (salmon, avocado, cream cheese etc.) Excellent. Wide and varied menu, more bar food than restaurant.

This cafe is my main go to pla e when we fly into Le Touquet. They are always friendly and have both English and French Menus. The staff are always helpful. The food and coffee are always very good, I have never had a problem or complaint with this restaurant and have now visited 5 or 6 times. Really happy, thank you. Can recommend the ceaser salad and Cordon Bleu.

Our visit to this restaurant was delightful. I chose the supreme chicken risotto, and my girlfriend went for the gamba risotto; both dishes were enjoyable. However, what truly wowed us were the desserts. We couldn't resist trying four of them: creme brulee, rice pudding, the signature chocolate cake, and speculoos tiramisu. Each dessert was top-level, and they earned this place a solid 5-star rating. We'll definitely be returning for those heavenly desserts!

Sold us undercooked chicken on both caesar salad and when we brought it up to the waiter he barely acknowledged it. Then proceeded to still bill us for it. Also overpriced for the quality of food we had. Would not recommend going here.

It was ok, not wow…food was correct but not out of this world. Location is fantastic though! I had a Greek salad which was good but a bit overpriced at €20.

Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!! Service was fast, the food was amazing, and the presentation of each dish was also pleasant. My husband said it's the best cheesecake he had ever had in his life! He rarely says something like that. Overall super happy with this Resto.

Food was very tasty and served quickly, freshly made and steaming. The pizza was delicious. The restaurant has a slight aura of being a fast food place, lighting a bit harsh. Decor aside, it's a great place for italian food in Le Touquet.

Heard this was good restaurant, unfortunately we had very long wait for our food, my starter came out within 10 min but the 2 pizzas took 55 min to be served , there seemed to be a lot of people waiting long periods for food. Table next to us had one dish served then the other 3 took 19 min to arrive. Staff were very nice , maybe just a one off .

I like this place. Had to book as gets busy. Feels very Italian, good as its Italian! Pizza dough was really good. Arrabiata seemed simple but the depth of flavour was really amazing. I had a meat and pasta dish (can't remember name!) which was also excellent. Good atmosphere. 5 stars!

My best meal was here, very good food and very friendly and accommodating. The garlic bread was on a pizza base and was so good. The ham and cheese pizza was gone in minutes and my pasta dish very so good, however I asked for lots of chillis and garlic and that's what I got lol 😅😅😅😅 Very nice food and I look forward to visiting this place as soon as I can. Good food, clean and nice place. Tried the escalope du veaux gratin and pizza calzone. Very nice. Service was a bit slow but we did get our drinks, except water, quite quickly then it was a bit of a wait for the main. Prices acceptable, beef escalope --25€, pizza @15€. Didn't get any desert so cannot comment. Bonne apetit!

Fresh angus burger marinated with various spices. You choose the cheese that goes with it, such as standard chedar or you can pick typical French cheese, if you dare to venture, such as blue cheese, reblochon,etc. and how cooked you want the burger. I chose maroilles cheese which is very local and medium for the burger which is 'à point' in French. The bun is fluffy, a delicious house sauce comes with the fries, who are excellent as well. Very, very friendly service in a relaxing atmosphere. Very fair price for the quality, a classical burger and fries cost 14€ when you eat there and 12€ for take away and it is more than enough for one person. If you are super hungry, you can have the big menu which is double burger for only 16€ for take away or 18€ if you eat there. Soda is only 2€ but I rather recommend to try their local craft beer. I got an amber one which was not bitter. The slightly negative point is it is a bit outside of the city center and the toilet is small but the quality of the burger and the service overcompensate. I highly recommend this place.

Best restaurant in Le Touquet! The burger was absolutely delicious, with high-quality meat that made all the difference. They also offer an nice selection of French cheeses to choose from, which added a special touch to the meal. The prices are very reasonable, providing excellent value for the quality of food and service. Speaking of service, it was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The dining room is charming and cozy, creating a welcoming atmosphere. They have a great selection of beers and ciders, which paired perfectly with the burger. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Le Touquet.

Stunning food, best burger for a long time. Couldn't recommend enough!

The veggie burger tastes great and they really know how to cook their fries! The major plus here is the minimum of waste: just some paper, no water consumption to wash cutlery or dished and almost no plastic, just this little cup of sauce could be replaced with something biodegradable...

Lovely burger, with plenty of choice on both burger filling and topping for the fries, took the whole family and something for everyone, also very helpful service with English talking waiter.

Visited Restaurant À Table in Le Touquet and loved the experience. The place is quaint and full of charm. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. The meal was delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. A lovely spot for an enjoyable dining experience in Le Touquet.

We chose Le Touque for a day trip to celebrate my wife's birthday. She is a big foodie so I was keen to find a good restaurant. After some wandering around the town looking at menus we settled on 'A Table' because it looked small and friendly. Turns out that was a very good decision. Very pleasant staff, nothing was too much trouble even though we hadn't booked in advance. I ordered peppered steak and my wife and son had the chicken. Really tasty and freshly cooked, 2 big ticks in the box from her. We also had a glass of wine each, again this was very high quality, she had red, me rosè. And all priced very attractively. We couldn't get this level of quality in UK unless we paid a lot more. Needless to say we are already planning to return very soon, no birthdays required! 5 stars from us. Xx

Authentic, Family, Run, small restaurant, hard to get a table. The fries are so very French. The wine list is amazing a decent chablis is 26 Euros. No airs and graces, perfectly cooked steak and Frites, Daily specials.

Wonderful experience with fast and friendly service. The mussel tasted great with many variations. The Le French 75 drink was good and strong. Overall a great experience.

The restaurant has really nice setting, locates by the seafront. Parking is free and outdoor area is perfect when the weather is good. The food was delicious, highly recommend Sirloin steak with red wine sauce.

Great restaurant tucked away on the estuary in Le Touquet. Just a short walk from the centre of town either via the beach or road. The restaurant offers some fantastic outside seating in the sunshine or a cosy and beautifully fitted out restaurant when the sun goes down. The food is fantastic, real traditional French fair. I had the steak fritters which was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour. My wife had the seared tuna which was also delicious. Needless to say we tried the traditional deserts including the creme brûlée which is a must. All in all, a really great find and well worth a visit.

We visited back in June, and sat outside, which was glorious! We couldn’t wait to return and we are so glad we did. Everything from start to finish was exceptional. The decor, the service, the drinks, all fantastic. We weren’t rushed at any point and we took our time to connect. It really is a beautiful restaurant and I would recommend it to anyone!

Excellent!!! Absolutely loved everything about it. Delicious food, I had the country pate which was very good, the Filet Mignon de Porc which was absolutely fantastic followed by the lemon dessert which finished the meal perfectly. It was all washed down with a beautiful (although a little expensive €60) bottle of Pouilly Fume. It was worth every penny, a wonderful experience, decor, atmosphere, staff and lit candles on the table complete perfection ❤️

Very good service and food! A young gentleman was serving our big table and he made sure everything was done smoothly. We had a request for a colonel which was not on the menu and he kindly created one. Really good ! Would definitely recommend. The location is very nice too!

This was my third visit but not since March 2018 so it was nice to see that, except for a change in staff, the ambience, the service and the food were, as before, very good indeed. A lovely evening. A bientôt.

Positives: 1.One can already know that each item is prepared fresh by the quality of ingredients and their freshness. 2. Pet friendly. 3. Prices are good considering the location. 4. The menu is quite varied and has local produce (e.g.seafood) and a good range of healthy and vegetarian options too. Negatives: (slightly positive too) 1. Slow service esp.to take order. Don't go if you are hungry...everything will have a pace so you will need at least 2 hours if you want to wait, order, get served....pay etc. The slightly positive side to this is that the person taking orders already informed me that food orders are on hold as the kitchen is catching up with existing orders and they would not rush just to take the order and then delay the delivery/ service. Also as mentioned above, each dish is prepared with the time needed hence worth the wait. 2. They have segregated roles among the service staff which is appreciated but all of them seemed to be under pressure and not making any eye contact. It seems to me that this was in their SOP to rush around. At the end, however, when they do serve and come for each course separately - beverages, food, dessert etc., one realizes that they just want you to eat properly and with patience. However, this can have both positive and negative impact esp.if the guests are in a hurry, is a first timer or there are hungry kids on the table etc. They can improve on this for making the customer experience better. But what the heck, they are not into flowery words to attract tourists and they do serve very good food and we are in France so it is not to be offended about ;). Overall, I recommend Le Scoop for its authentic and good quality dishes and location. Don't go if you are a bit impatient or too hungry. :)

We booked here as part of a stop on the way back home from Disneyland Paris on a recommendation from the hotel we had booked. We arrived as they were opening, we were greeted and given an option of where to sit. Our order was taken and food arrived quickly, the meals were excellent and it was clear that care and dedication is put into it's preparation. A wasp, an inevitable pest at this time of year, unfortunately landed in one of our daughter's meals which was then replaced quickly and without issue. She has a fear of wasps and we had a waiter valiantly standing guard over her which lightened the mood. Desserts were as good as the meals with impressive presentation, the whole meal was delicious and very fairly priced. I would very easily recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I don’t normally bother to do reviews but in this case I’ll make an exception! I picked this place at random because it was convenient walking distance for us. The service was excellent in spite of my appalling French and the staff were most accommodating - an English menu is available, though you should be able to work most things out from the French! I cannot praise the food highly enough, it was fantastic. You will definitely be full because the portions are generous and the taste was amazing. I would definitely visit again.

Lovely dinner, in a great area of Le Touquet, bit away from the main town. The baked egg starter was amazing!

The best tuna steak I have ever tasted. The vegetable tagliateli had great concistency and flavor at the same time. Pavlova "igloo" creamy on the outside, sticky on the inside, delicious. One of the few restaurants that serves food well into the night (22:20h at the time) in Touquet. Very nice people, I recommend.

Very kind and hospitable, they took in our party of 7 at very short notice and made us very welcome. Lovely atmosphere, very tasty food, would be 5 stars if more vegetarian options, but we really enjoyed the omelette and goat's cheese salad. Easy to park on the sea front and ealk there.

Disappointing. If McDonalds did Moule Frites, this would be it. Actually... McDonalds frites are ok, these were cold and soggy. Mussels were obviously bulk cooked and the chosen flavour just dumped on before serving. Many Mussels were dry, shriveled or stuck to the shell. Only a few were what you would call OK.

We were the only people in the restaurant. So atmosphere was limited. But le Touquet was very quiet so that’s not really their fault. Food seemed to be hastily heated and not of great quality. Shame. Steak was tough, pasta was stodgy. Tomato and mozzarella starter was fine though

Very cosy place! "Irish pub vibes" with cheap Belgian beers. Food was delicious, i had the Poutin (recommend) Staff was very friendly as well! 9/10 😁

A no-nonsense typical brasserie full of market stall traders and the local population catching up over mussels and chips although plenty of other things on the menu too. Not fine cuisine but excellent amd generous local dishes, from snacks (les Welsh ie cheese on toast), to typical traditional dishes like Blanquette de veau. Bustling atmosphere where you don't dwell over lunch but enjoy good and efficient service amongst locals.

Stunning food!!! Fish was huge, fresh, gorgeous Lamb shank the same, dish of the day was chicken chasseur tonight, only the bones left, can’t recommend it more highly

Horrible food. We ordered mussels that were ok, (not great but fresh at least), and asked for a side salad which was a real shame (taken straight from the plastic bag with an industrial dressing sprinkled on top). In fact the salads were so gross that we asked for fries instead, but the fried were even worse. Later on the staff admitted that they had been cooked four times... Not even their bread wasn’t good. This place is a SHAME, an insult to French food. And I’m not even talking about hygiene…. Go to McDonald’s or any other place but this one…

Fantastic food served by very friendly staff.

We were returning to the UK from an Italian road trip and stayed overnight in Le Touquet. During our visit, we came across the market and this amazing little Restaurant. It may be physically small, but offers so much more in character and food choices. We sat in the sunshine with our drinks soaking up the atmosphere. We perused the menu and found a very nice seafood sharing plate. It was cooked perfectly, and the presentation did it justice. Table service was timed nicely and the owner is a laugh a minute. If you are in Le Touquet, and fancy a well cooked and well presented lunch then please give this Restaurant your business.

Steak skirt was fantastic. Puddings also excellent. Monsieur fun and friendly, especially with the baby!

The service is too slow ... They gave us the drinks fast and after 30min they remembered to ask what we want to eat.. I ordered salad 16euros , it's not cheap for this And after another 30 min they came with the food ... Not recommended for me

We received a warm welcome and good service with staff interacting with us. We had the Wok noodle vegetarian dish which was delicious and I ordered the chicken breast in mushroom sauce. I did order potatoes with my dish but came with chips! But they did provide the potatoes aside and allowed me to keep the chips!! The cream brûlée was also delicious and would recommend to.

Really enjoyed our lunch on the veranda. Had the mussels and fries. Kids had chicken nuggets and chips. Bit of a wait to take the order then clear the table but that was fine. It's a nice place to sit and chat.

Food was good, but the service extremely bad. Kids have a lollypop ice cream in their kids menu, but they haven't been served for 50 minutes. Everytime I try to have someone come to the table, they tell me "2 minutes", but no one eventually comes. A couple next to our table has literally been here for over 1 hour without even taking their order (not even a drink). I will never return. Also the food is really average for the prices.

I don't like leaving bad reviews. But when you're treated rudely by staff straight off the bat, followed up by the most overpriced, average mussels in the world and followed up with yet more poor service; there's little more that can be done. Avoid.

Great food and atmosphere. The only thing was we planned 90min for lunch and food didn't arrive for 50mins after we arrived. I know it was lunchtime but surely more hands in the kitchen would help. Owner wasn't particularly fussed when I mentioned it to him..

English breakfast is a joke! 2 eggs with 3 slices of baked ham rest of the plate filled up with salad. Cheap Orange juice. For that price it's a shame. We do not recommend this place for breakfast.

Not sure why people leave bad reviews for unfriendly service. It's true that the lady who served us was a little too serious but so what? She was still very professional and listened to us and answered our questions about the kind of dishes they had on the day. The food was very tasty and we didn't wait ages either. We went for 2 x set menus and from starters to dessert it was all delicious.

Found this place whilst trying to avoid the pub food in the main tourist area. The food was beautiful and the atmosphere how you imagine a French Cafe to be. Service was fast and friendly, there weren't many in which probably helped. Would go back to Le Touquet just to eat there again.

Have eaten at the restaurant on 2 occasions, both times with a party of 12 and we were all highly impressed with the quality of the food and the service was excellent. Due to Le Touquet in 2022 and will be visiting again.

Very nice food and good service

Absolutely appalling and unfriendly service. Waited one hour for starters and then another 40 minutes for main course. Gave up on the dessert after waiting a further 40 minutes but still had to pay for it. Interestingly, the table next to us got served a lot quicker (locals) so I guess they don’t want tourists. Food wasn’t bad, but nothing special and fairly expensive. Would not recommend unless you have several hours to kill.

Excellent pizza. The best I've had in France. Had the goats cheese and honey one, so so so tasty. Very quick service, pizzas made expertly in front of you and polite staff. I'd absolutely recommend it!

Nice little restaurant with a friendly owner & a simple menu, mainly pizzas, albeit with great fresh & high quality ingredients. My daughter just had spaghetti in green pesto sauce; homemade & delicious plus the spaghetti was fresh. I also had spaghetti but with octopus in a rich ‘old style’ sauce (owners description), one of the daily specials. One of the nicest pasta dishes I’ve ever had. My wife was delighted with her “Salad Rialto”; delicious, tasty & fresh throughout. We’ll be around for 5 more days & will eat here again. Check it out!!

Very good pizzas but let down by half hour wait for two pizzas lunchtime even though not full. No hot water or soap in toilet. Demi heure d' attente. Ni savon ni l'eau chaud la toilette.

We visited Le Touquet on the 26th of August for the Touquet Beach Music Festival. Le Touquet was packed this weekend so was this restaurant, so I would strongly recommend making a reservation a few days in advance. The decor exudes a chic ambiance, and the food menu offers a splendid array of options, making it quite a challenge to choose a dish as each one seems more enticing than the next. I had the "plume de pluma de porc ibérique grillée," and I must say, I highly recommend this dish to anyone visiting this restaurant. The drinks took a bit of time to be served, but this delay is entirely understandable given the restaurant was at full capacity. Our waitress, Louise, provided excellent service, taking great care of our group and even skillfully accommodating our friends who arrived late, unfortunately the kitchen had closed by the time they have arrived. Thank you very much and we will visit this place again.

The food was good and staff were pleasant, even with a language barrier with our limited French. We order wine that was never received and were billed for it, along with additional sides that we did not receive. When this issue was raised, they quickly corrected the mistake.

The smallest mussels I've ever been served. In my country this would be mussel seed. No sauce with the mussels. Good fries with skin. However no salt, no mayonnaise. Tasteless meal, all in all. Looks like a decent place but feels like a tourist trap.

All was really good I had the revised Welsh, very tasty. The Cafe gourmand is definitely to try. I loved the straws made with pasta. More efficient than the paper version 😉

Delicious meal..small choice on the menu but all the food was great. I had a salad but other people had steak tartare and chicken. They had a children's menu and were very family orientated taking kids orders and getting their food out first. Meals were large but make sure you have room for pudding it is the best pudding we have had this year!

After our annual trip to Le Mans for the 24 Hour race, our group of friends like to spend the Sunday evening in Le Touquet before heading back to Calais the following morning. For the last few years we've enjoyed a meal at L' Atelier Éphémère which is a short walk from our hotel. We'd booked a table for 12 at 19:00 and it was all ready upon our arrival, with plenty of space for all our party. It's in a great location overlooking the seafront and there's plenty of parking in the car park opposite. Our host was extremely welcoming and remembered us from last year. There were even menus in English to help those that can't remember even basic French from school! Our drinks orders were taken quickly and we chose a few bottles from their extensive wine selection as well as some carafes of water. The service was very prompt despite the restaurant becoming quite busy and despite our fairly basic French, we managed to communicate OK and the atmosphere was 'tres jolie'. We ordered a few charcuterie platters to share (3/4 persons) and they contained a delicious selection of meats, saucisson and cheeses with plenty of fresh baguette. For mains we ordered several of their grilled fillet of beef 'duo' served with fries and bernaise sauce and a couple of the 'butcher's cut' steak with fries, salad and a peppercorn sauce. I opted for their special double cheeseburger with cheddar. This was particularly outstanding and was presented with a 'crown' of melted cheese that was released on top of the burger upon arrival! A most spectacular presentation and it was equally delicious. All of the dishes we tried were very good although the beef fillet was cooked very rare for my taste but my friends liked it that way so it wasn't an issue. The portion sizes were reasonably generous and the presentation was excellent. We were regularly offered top-ups of drinks and our waiter was very attentive. For dessert we just had room for a round of their Rhum Babas which were generously sized and particularly good! Our bill for the evening was 930 Euros but this included 6 bottles of wine so for a 'normal' meal it would work out to around 40 - 50 Euros per head which is very reasonable for the quality and service. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience and although there are many restaurants in Le Touquet, many of which I'm sure are excellent too, L' Atelier Éphémère is a place I'd happily return to anytime.

Good food, lovely service but what no one has mentioned is that the decor should be rated 18+ We sat in a booth by the window surrounded by the wallpaper which can only be described as explicit. Could not believe our eyes and a big change from the other photos shown on these reviews. Not suitable for children at all or in fact children taking their parents out for lunch. Clearly France has a different attitude to the Home Counties! We did have a good laugh and great food. Booked online in advance but clearly we were not the target market for this restaurant.

Friendly staff but the food was not good, not tasty. Risotto was dried cheesy and salty, the fish sauce tasted something like mayonnaise and cheese. My friend's pièce du boucher (steak) went back to the kitchen. The menu in the photos is not updated.

The accommodating staff, coupled with our limited French proficiency, provided excellent service. The cuisine was also of high quality, complemented by a pleasant atmosphere. We highly recommend this establishment.

Overall a really good restaurant. We arrived without any booking and they managed to accommodate us. Food and drinks were very good, please note they didn't seem tp speak English so practice your French before you arrive. 2 meals and drinks for around 60 euro.

We had a lovely time here, the service was absolutely great (which is hard to find) and the food very tasty and well balanced. I had the fish which was cooked to perfection, balanced by the chorizo, mushrooms and mashed potato. My husband has the “artisanal burger” and according to him it was the best he ever had. We also ordered a kids menu, fresh food with good portions.

Loved it. Excellent food and a very attentive service. From the moment you enter the restaurant, you can tell the chef patron is a real lover of his craft: decoration of the place, presentation on the plate, .. Exquisite fois gras and the veal kidneys were stunning. A good wine list too with just enough choice to meet every taste. Bonus: they let dogs in ❤️

Excellent and friendly service, excellent kir royal apéritif, excellent ‘carbonnade flamande’ (= beef stew), excellent ‘tajmahal’ (= orange and apricot liqueur mousse with cream), excellent background music (French hits from the 80s) and excellent value for money! I’m only in Le Touquet for three days, but I’ve got to go back as everything was excellent!!

Had the pleasure of dining here, on a golf break with 17 othere fellas, reserved a table the week before. Hostess and waitress where brilliant all night not just with us but , as we were seated outside, the whole restaurant was pack. Can't recommend this place highly enough for the food and service.

If you love steak or mussels, you've come to the right place! We're a UK couple with a holiday home in Le Pas near Meyenne. For the past 6 years or so, we've enjoyed breaking up our drive home to the UK by staying 3 nights somewhere close to Calais, and this (30th July to 2nd August 2025) was our 2nd visit to Le Touquet and our 1st (but it won't be our last) vist to L'uZine restaurant. We both wanted to have a steak meal and so I Googled "best steak restaurant in Le Touquet" and L'uZine popped up. So we thought we'd give it a go and we are so glad that we did. It was one of the best culinary decisions we've ever made. We each ordered "Le Gargantua" mixed steak, and these were excellent in many ways. Excellent flavour, Excellent (huge) quantity representing Excellent value for money. This was by far the very best steak we'd every had anywhere in the world!! We enjoyed it so much we booked their cosy 2 seater window table for the following night, and this time we ordered mussels and a Rib Eye (500g) steak. These were equally as excellent as the night before. The next time we stay on Le Touquet we will definitely be visiting L'uZine again!!

I had the Gargantua, in the photo the meat cuts look very delicious but in reality the meat was not tender at all nor worth all the hype. I don't recommend it for those who really pay attention to the quality of steak they are eating.

It should really be 4.5. We ordered a steak and the végétarien, both dishes were simple, delicious and fresh. The friendly waiter was proud of their quality meat, home made fries and mayo. The veggie dish was tasty and filling, but no complete proteins (rampant issue in France and Belgium). One of the cheapest meals during our trip.

Mussels are pretty good and portion is huge. Worth a try.

Nice, but a bit overrated. Steaks where good but not exceptional, mussels in the kid's menu were dry, and the house red was really nothing interesting. For a place that prides of being independent this is somewhat disappointing. Also the service was average.

Delicious, we both had a well cooked meal, especially their mussles with white wine and gorgonzola dish was unparallelled, this was very tasty. great friendly welcoming service. Lovely experience, the place feels like a large well decorated living room. Our dogs were no problem for the waitresses even when it got very busy.

First of all, there’s no pies here. While the service was fast, we felt the price was very high for a very plain and basic toasted sandwich with minimal filling. The mash was great and I would recommend this as a side. Service was polite and we were grateful that the waiter spoke English and was patient with us.

We went there for lunch and had the buratta, pesto, coppa croq with beers. The products used to make the croq were of good quality and overall good. The service is ok. The choice, i found limited and the plates a little plain.

We were a group of 7 and they were really accommodating. The croque with a side of mash was the highlight. The coffees and juices are also fresh and lovely.

British themed French restaurant. Interesting mix of two cultures. The croque Welsh was tasty.

Le Touquet is a top spot for customs entry into France, and L’Escale restaurant is one of the reasons why. We always have a great time here and would highly recommend it. The only downside is that you might need to update your weight and balance calculations after dining here, as there’s always something extra on the menu to tempt you. On this occasion, I particularly enjoyed the raspberry soufflé. It was so light, I didn’t have to worry about it. Bon appétit and safe travels!

Attended a wedding reception here. The food was good and the venue is located by the local airport. Overall an ok experience. The staff were friendly but we had long waiting times for food. Apart from that. Everything else was good. Would recommend to come here for a drink and perhaps something to eat..

Flew in for a day trip to France and stopped off here for a quick bite to eat. Staff where very friendly and the food was great. It would have been nice to try some of there great drinks selection. The service was possibly a little slow, but we were short of time so we were a little more sensitive it.

Great restaurant based at Le Touquet airport. Great food and amazing service. Outside terrace great views of planes taking off and landing. Will definatly be back.

Good food, lovely surroundings. First time since Covid start 2 years ago and still as good as I remember. Don't be fooled but uninviting small front entrance, large patio and entrances airside (Le Touquet Airport).

slow service as it was busy which impacted on how the staff performed unfortunately & the food was ok, well presented. Not the friendliest of places, however the restaurant is nicely decorated and it's location is wonderful.. I'm sure it's much friendlier at less busy times

We popped in at 9:30 AM on a Sunday—no brunch menu yet, but plenty of seating. Huge plus: they kindly offered the brunch menu for the kids while we ordered from the regular menu. By 10:30, the place fills up fast, so if you're after the brunch menu (starting at 10:30 or 11 AM), plan accordingly. Food? Fantastic. And if the weather’s great, the outdoor seating—or even the view from inside—makes it even better. Definitely a win! 🍽️✨

Thank goodness! A vegetarian cafe with really friendly and helpful staff serving tasty and beautifully presented brunch! Situated slightly away from the bustle but rightfully popular. We got in around 11:00 without booking though it soon filled up.

What a sweet place to visit on a sunny day! This small scale coffee/tea shop serves desserts with a wow: the pastry is absolutely georgeous and the scenery is unique: from the small lawn one has a great view on the only lighthouse Le Touquet still has. We tried the brunch including one of the best pastries ever eaten: they're light, good looking and they taste like they look: absolutely deliciuous. Still hesitating?
