Restaurant
Nestled in the charming seaside town of Sheringham, Norfolk, Marmalade’s Bistro has been a beloved dining spot for over 15 years. This cozy bistro, with its intimate 30-seat capacity, is run by a dedicated husband and wife team who are passionate about serving up classic British cuisine infused with local Norfolk seafood. The menu features an enticing variety of seasonal dishes crafted from fresh ingredients sourced from nearby suppliers.
Our first visit to Marmalade's and if we're ever in Sheringham again we'll be sure to book again. The staff were apologetic for being slow because it was quite busy when we dined at 7pm on Tuesday evening, but we didn't notice any delay in the service. Each course was beautifully presented and the flavours of every ingredient really shone in each dish. This was a special birthday/anniversary celebration, we wouldn't normally 'push the boat out' as much, but so glad we chose Marmalade's, the experience was worth it!

A cosy small top end restaurant in Sheringham. Excellent quality dishes, both in flavour and presentation. Really good, interesting choices for vegetarians. Tasty local beers also available. The sink-hole cheesecake is a fun and delicious dessert. Bookings absolutely essential. This place was fully booked even on a Tuesday night. Prices on the higher side but very much worth it when there is a proper chef creating the dishes. Highly recommended.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A must-visit gem in town! If you’re anywhere near, do yourself a favour and pop into Marmalade’s Bistro. We had a cracking evening here — from start to finish, it was spot on. We kicked off with crispy spring rolls and a tangy sweet chilli dip, which vanished in seconds. Then came the hearty pasta with meatballs — silky ribbons of tagliatelle drenched in a rich tomato sauce, topped with juicy meatballs that packed a real punch. For mains, the slow-cooked beef with tenderstem broccoli was melt-in-the-mouth perfection, bathed in a flavourful gravy. The herb-crusted fish on a creamy caper sauce was equally lush, fresh and beautifully balanced. The place itself is cosy and welcoming, with lovely staff who genuinely look after you. Presentation was top-notch, but most importantly — everything tasted fantastic. Whether you’re after a laid-back dinner or just keen to treat yourself, Marmalade’s Bistro is well worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Probably one of the best meals I've ever had! We shared the scallop started. Wish I hadn't agreed to do that! Scallop came with roe attached and was beautifully cooked. We both had the Crab mains and again it was absolutely delicious! I chose the sinkhole cheesecake and my husband chose the orange and cardamon bread and butter pudding. We ended up swapping as I loved the flavours of the bread and butter pudding so much and the cheesecake was just a bit too sweet for me. Lovely wine to complement the food. Overall excellent food and service. The staff had even left us a card wishing us a happy anniversary which was such a lovely gesture. If we are ever in Sheringham again, we would definitely eat here. Highly recommend!!! Do book a table if you are visiting the area to avoid disappointment as they are a very small bistro and have limited space.
Romany D — Google review
Excellent menu and wine list The pigeon breasts were good and the Rabbit cassoulet superb.
Mark C — Google review
Small bistro, does 2 sittings per night. Nice atmosphere and manageable menu. Reasonable prices given the high quality. Service was 'just right'. Nice gaps between courses meant we didn't feel hurried and didn't wait for long either Scallops, Lamb and 'sinkhole' dessert - all excellent Duck with gooseberry was inspired Best restaurant meal for ages. Well done guys. Only small gripe was the mark up on wine. £8 in Sainsburys becomes £28. To be fair, this seems to be generic across all restaurants and I have see worse elsewhere
Steve C — Google review
Superb small restaurant. The food was excellent. One of us is gluten free (lots of choices for GF diners) and the other vegetarian. Both our choices were delicious dishes. Why can't more places be like this?
Jane P — Google review
Wow! Nothing was too much trouble for chef Ian and his fabulous staff. Amazing customer service from Holly, thank you. The food was devine and the atmosphere was just lovely. We will definitely be returning. Five star plus!! Thank you all.

No. 10 is a charming eatery that serves as the perfect spot for gathering with friends and family, whether it’s for lunch, dinner, or a delightful Sunday brunch. Renowned for its seasonal menu that highlights some of Norfolk's finest local produce, this restaurant also boasts an impressive wine list featuring exquisite selections from around the globe to complement your meal perfectly. The ambiance inside No.
We visited here after reading some glowing reviews and we were not disappointed. I had the Mediterranean fish soup with gruyère and the Fillet steak. And both were cooked to perfection. My wife had the crab cake and Fillet steak and she said it was the best steak she's ever had. The atmosphere was relaxed, cosy and welcoming. The staff were also really friendly and attentive. We were not made to rush at all in between courses (and after finishing)which is a really nice touch. No room was left for pudding as we were stuffed but the ones on offer looked delicious. We would definitely recommend No. 10 as a must visit place when visiting Sheringham or the surrounding area.
Peter F — Google review
The short well presented menu has charm. The food is homely and comforting and the portions a very good value. This time I chose a fish based meal. Next time I will try a land one. The host is very attentive to everyone and knows many of the regular patrons well.
Mark C — Google review
This cosy, owner managed restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step across the threshold. Sonya and her daughter Tilda will be there to greet and seat you and to take time to chat with you. The menu is simple, comprising fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. All dishes are lovingly prepared from scratch in the restaurant's kitchen. We were a table of 5 and our tasty and varied choices of starters are in the photos. I'd recommend the lamb kofta on a bed of couscous and the roasted peppers with goat's cheese. No. 10 offers 3 fish dishes on their summer menu. I had the plaice and my wife had the cod, both of which were absolutely delicious. A vegetable dish for the table, comprising carrots and broccoli was perfectly cooked. The desserts too are great. We'd recommend the cherry & almond tart and the Crème Brûlée. Service is excellent, we were addressed by name having introduced ourselves on arrival to the vivacious Sonya. 5 stars in all categories. Highly recommend and great value. Will definitely return.
Keith R — Google review
What a lovely little restaurant, quite unique and so friendly. The staff are lovely and the food delicious, the decor is unusual but works so well. We had the cod and sea bass and both were amazing. What a lovely find. We would certainly recommend.
Alison J — Google review
This place is amazing. It's like fine dining but without the outrageous prices, small portions, or stuffy atmosphere. I had the fish soup to start which completely blew me away, and the braised beef rib main was also insanely good. I was very full afterwards, but i just about managed to squeeze in some sticky toffee pudding. I was also really impressed with the wine. It was a delicious £28 argentine malbec, and they actually served it at the right temperature. So many restaurants serve red wine way too warm. Overall a great place for a special occasion or date night, or if you just fancy a nice meal!!
Noi R — Google review
This was definitely one of the best dining experiences we ever had in the UK! If you are visiting Sheringham or its vicinity, you should definitely add No. 10 to your itinerary! The choice of food and how well it's done is quite amazing. And the atmosphere only adds to the whole experience. Greetings from the youngsters from Windsor :) (by the way, we checked the bank transaction, and it was assigned correctly to No. 10, not to the dental practice :)
Stepan C — Google review
What a wonderful place. Best restaurant in North Norfolk. We had Crab cake and Lamb Kofta to start. Both were light and flavoursome. We then had the Hake on roasted Mediterranean veg and Sea Bass with its, samphire and dill sauce. As it was so good we had to try the sticky toffee pud and rhubarb crème brûlée. Wonderful. Nice bottle of Aix Provençal rose washed it down nicely.

"The Bank" is a popular restaurant located near The Red Hart Inn in Sheringham. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including slow-cooked lamb rump in red wine jus, an ever-changing selection of soups, and a range of desserts. Housed in an old bank building, the restaurant features tall ceilings and old study vault doors on the rear wall, adding to its unique ambiance.
Amazing food. My husband loves to cook, and loves to cook curry, and throughout his meal he kept exclaiming about how amazing the food was. Mine was equally good, tasty, beautifully cooked, light crispy naan, lovely rice. Hope to return next time we are in the area. Not had a curry this good since... ever!
Libby H — Google review
Amazing food but very very expensive especially for drinks. £5 for a 330ml coca cola is the most expensive I have ever seen anywhere. Also £8.15 for a bottle of beer is insane. If you have deep pockets i say go nuts.
NintyGuy999 — Google review
A lovely south Asian restaurant in Sheringham. Definitely book in advance as it fills up early. We thought that every dish was well prepared and with a bit of class.
Martin — Google review
Great restaurant, we love visiting there, food is really tasty and different to other curry establishments, service is lovely with a smile. Highly recommended
Peter S — Google review
My wife and I popped in here for supper on my birthday recently. Fabulous! The staff were warm and friendly and very helpful in selecting Nepalise dishes from the menu. When they came they were all beautifully presented, super tasty and very different from usualy Indian fare. Breads were good too. All-in-all a fabulous meal for a reasonable price point.
Colin H — Google review
We were a party of 11 on a long weekend break to Sheringham. We like Nepalese cooking so I reserved a table at The Bank. We received a warm welcome on our arrival and ordered our meal. Between us we had a range of dishes. Everybody said the food was excellent, well cook3d and more than plentiful. It was a very pleasant dining experience and we will go again when we are in the area.
Andrew W — Google review
Good food, well seasoned. The Nepali lamb curry was excellent really well cooked lamb. The staff were friendly efficient and engaging

We love the food here, The Nepalese dishes are quite different from your typical 'Indian' , it's a must-try if you're staying in Sheringham. Prices are a bit higher than average - but worth it.

Nestled in a charming old flint fisherman’s cottage, Whelk Coppers Tea Rooms has been a beloved family-run establishment since 1992. This delightful spot boasts possibly the finest outdoor seating for enjoying lunch or an afternoon tea while soaking up the coastal views of Sheringham. The interior is steeped in history, featuring Indian teak paneling from a Royal Navy frigate and wrought iron gates that are said to have been designed by none other than Walt Disney himself!
Discovered this lovely place today whilst looking for somewhere for breakfast on a day trip to Sheringham. One place we considered was shut so we carried on walking and after a quick Google Whelks came up. We sat outside and it has a stunning sea view. Staff polite and friendly, coffee that is tasty and drinkable and a lovely breakfast. Would recommend and return 😁
Sharon W — Google review
Had a fantastic breakfast sitting outside overlooking the sea. Quick and friendly service with a good range of food to choose from. There are seats inside too in case the weather isn't that good. Food was very fresh and full of flavour
Mark C — Google review
We chose this place for lunch based on the reviews. It did not disappoint. We were welcomed by a very friendly member of staff and all those we interacted with were extremely friendly. They couldn’t do enough. Our dog was also welcomed - very dog friendly. Lovely cosy place and ample space (despite some reviews saying it was cramped - it isn’t). The food was lovely, fairly priced and we’ll be coming back if we’re ever in the area again.

2nd visit within a month & this time we had the skinny & vegan meal , 10/10 everything cooked perfectly . This is our favourite place to come & we live near Caister on sea. Staff , location everything is perfect
Andrea M — Google review
We are on holiday near Fakenham and decided to take a trip to Sherringham. We were walking along the sea front and came across the Whelk Coppers, the setting looked stunning so we decided to give it a try. We had our Labrador with us so we asked if dogs were allowed as we couldn't see any signs. We were given a very warm and friendly welcome and we're told we could sit anywhere. Luckily there was a table in the shade as it was very warm, the setting of the place is stunning it was on the sea front and the views were amazing. The food was just as good too, it didn't take long to arrive either. We both had a Full English we were asked how we would like our eggs cooked and gave us a choice of bread for the toast. You got 1 Sausage, 1 Rasher of Bacon, Hash Brown, Mushrooms, Vine Cherry Tomatoes, Baked Beans and 2 Eggs. I had mine fried and Jackie had hers Poached and they were cooked perfectly all with runny yolks. I had an Americano with cream and Jackie had a pot of Tea, the Coffee was spot on strong and tasty. There is plenty of seating indoors and outside, like I said the staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend Whelk Coppers if you are looking for a Breakfast, we will be going back.
Kurt S — Google review
Delicious lunch with great view. Sat outside in sunshine, dog friendly seating. Enjoyed our eggs royale and Stilton mushrooms. Friendly service and lovely surroundings
Becky D — Google review
Such a lovely brunch here with my Mum for Mothers Day she was wondering where I was taking her. The staff all react so quickly to help and clear and serve. We sat outside after eating inside. Busy and yet didn’t have to wait as long as expected. Definitely deserves all 5 stars! 🌟
Georgina B — Google review
We visited the tea room again after not being in the area for several years and we were pleased to find that it is as good as ever. Great coffee and superb cakes, all at reasonable prices and served by very welcoming staff. It was very busy for a weekday in October but they kept everyone informed of wait times. Will definitely visit again when back in Sheringham.

Great experience. Lovely people, good menu, and great specials. Fair pricing for around here too Had two specials and really enjoyed them, the saffron and a sizzling one. Will come back

It's been an amazing experience. Extremely welcoming and we felt at home with two children. That can be difficult but the servers were incredibly understanding and so contentive. Two children ate tikka monk fish for the fist time and really enjoyed it. I and partner absolutely enjoyed ourselves trying new dishes. A special experience and completely authentic. Complements all go to the chef, service and atmosphere. Over all thank you!!! Delicious!!! Recommended to all!
Zoe R — Google review
Our first time here so wasn’t sure what to expect. The food was lovely and the service too but just keep an eye on the prices. We order 2 bottles of Cobra, large ones as stated on the menu at 660ml priced at £5.95 each. Both bottles arrived but were 620ml, when I questioned the price I was told it’s a new thing with the supplier! I didn’t buy into that explanation as I have been to many restaurants and every Cobra bottle has been a 660ml. I would advise everyone to check bottle sizes.
Hayley H — Google review
The curry was really tasty! Great flavor, not too spicy but still full of seasoning, and the portion was just right. Our waiter Sahel was super friendly and made the experience even better. Definitely something I’d order again.

We dined on Saturday night for our anniversary. We don't eat out that often but when we do..... We usually choose Labone. Sheringham is our favourite. Where else are you greeted at the door when you walk in? Service is impeccable. The staff are all caring, polite and can't do enough for you and the food is really special. Absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. We absolutely love this little restaurant. Anyone thinking of going.... Just go as you won't be disappointed. Well done Labone. We will see you again..... Many times. Can't praise you enough.

Very disappointing not authentic Thai. Prawn cracker mass produced, chicken satay also mass produced, and so called satay sauce was terrible and tasteless. Main courses the sauces were watery and lacked flavour and the protein was cheap cuts and tough. Previously was excellent but now overpriced and very poor - will not return.

Very nice inside, lots of Thai artwork and sculptures, great atmosphere. Had lunchtime two course special which was very good value at 13.50 a head. All the food was delicious, fresh and tasty Thai Curries and apetizers. The hostess was lovely and service perfect.

Oh My Word...We popped in to this restaurant on the off chance as we looked at a few of the pubs in Sheringham but didn't fancy any of them. So glad we did! We had a set meal for 2 and boy it was absolutely delicious! The chef came out to ask us if we were happy to which we both were indeed. All three courses were freshly cooked. We couldn't fault it. We will definitely go back again for sure. I Vlogg my food on my Fat2Health YouTube Channel for weight loss. You don't have to avoid restaurants to lose weight! 10.7 stone gone. We went here for a dinner recently and it was a nice meal out. Three of us had some Deepfried Calamari, Sweetcorn cake, Pad Thai, seafood noodles, some speacial fried rice and egg fried rice. All the dishes were tasty. The Pad Thai was very sweet and not spicey at all, which was a bit disappointing. We found the spicey levels were generally low, even the 3 chilli rated Seafood noodles. However, it wasn't a massive problem. The interior decor was very nice. The staff were very friendly and respectful. We wouldn't mind visiting here again. Thank you 😊

Nestled in the charming town of Sheringham, The Sitting Room is a delightful café-restaurant that exudes warmth and friendliness. This hidden gem offers an inviting atmosphere perfect for enjoying a leisurely breakfast or light lunch. With a menu that features delicious paninis, fresh salads, and toasted sandwiches, it stands out by prioritizing locally sourced ingredients. A hidden gem of a place that we discovered by accident whilst exploring the Norfolk North Coastline. Home made scones with clotted cream and tasty jam along with a traditional pot of loose leaf tea. The perfect reward for our walk from Cromer to Sheringham in the winter wind and rain. Highly recommended if you are out this way.

Really nice place to relax and chill out. The coffee was particularly good and I had the best cheese scone. Some places just don't bake a good scone but The Sitting Room does! It's spacious and comfortable and the facilities were very clean.

Lunchtime menu is extremely sparse but the food itself is good, not amazing. Coffee excellent. Major reason for only 3 stars is the very unsmiling staff! Is it so difficult to smile and be friendly with customers? In these difficult, economically trying times a smile goes a long way. I won't rush back.

Great place for a lunch the food is high quality as is the service, friendly staff. A light snack airy place. They advertise great coffee and it sure is.

Set back from the high street this tearoom is well worth a visit and will be our first choice next time we visit Sheringham. Four of us ordered tea for two, coffees, scones and sausage rolls. The food was excellent and not expensive. All the staff were lovely and I have no hesitation in recommending this traditional cafe.

Fantastic place. Great food and excellent service. I had the cornish pasty delicious. My boyfriend had the brie and onion chutney. We were so surprised and delighted to see balsamic vinegar on the table instead of the cheap sauces. Lovely touch. My boyfriend had the cappuccino, which he said was one of the best coffees he had had. Loose tea is so good 👍. We had the chocolate and cherry slice. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended.
Sandy A — Google review
A lovely coffee shop and excellent coffee, however the service left much to be desired. I ordered 1 latte which took 30 minutes to appear. On an adjoining table, a party of 3 had to go before they were served and on enquiring how long his order would take, the gentleman was told by staff that he was 'a rude man'. The cafe was only about half full.

Was looking for somewhere to have lunch on a very busy day during school holidays, and found this friendly little café just round the corner from the clock tower. It's in a lovely old building and has an outside seating area. Very homely inside with traditional decor, comfy chairs and some nice pictures on the wall. Although the café was busy, I managed to get a small table near the counter. The two young men who were serving were both courteous and helpful. I ordered the Cornish pasty with salad, but there were also sausage rolls, vegetarian quiches and other light snacks available as well as some yummy looking cakes. Did not have to wait too long for my pasty and it was really good quality, piping hot, tasty and filling. Had a nice pot of loose tea, served with a china cup and a strainer. Payment was with card only, and prices were very reasonable. A most satisfying lunch! Would come here again if I return to Sheringham.

Nestled in a charming flint cottage just steps from the sea front, Camellia Cottage offers a delightful blend of modern aesthetics and traditional warmth. With its vibrant neon signs and contemporary furnishings, this licensed café is an inviting spot for brunch enthusiasts. The menu boasts mouthwatering options like fluffy American pancakes topped with berries and crispy bacon for those indulgent days, alongside healthy choices such as smashed avocado on sourdough.
Absolutely loved it here! So much that we came 3 days in a row whilst on holiday. The scones are amazing, salads lovely, afternoon tea the best I've tried and 2 fussy children were very happy with their food. The service was 10/10. I'll definitely visit next time I'm back in Norfolk.

Convenient coffee shop. Great service. Coffee was lovely - cappuccino with oat milk and a chai latte. Home made cakes. We had the coffee walnut cake A* and the Victoria sponge B (mine was just a tad dry). Inside and outside seating. Toilet was upstairs, I think. A bit of litter was blowing around outside. Nice enough place.

Visited on a busy summer's Sunday in July. Plenty of seating options with areas at the front of Camellia Cottage, to the rear, and a small table area upstairs. The menu is mainly light bites, cakes, hot drinks and it's licensed too. Food is more interesting than the standard sandwiches normally on offer. We had the fish finger sriracha brioche and a New York deli style sandwich. Both were very tasty. Sadly, the rear garden needs sprucing up. Tables are permanently sticky with old paint, plastic broken and faded artifical plants adorn the area and fresh flowers in clean water on the tables wouldn't go a miss. Inside, the stairs are painted in a light colour and we're filthy on the day of our visit. All Camellia Cottage needs is a brief refurbishment, and all will be well.

A nice cafe with lots of seating inside and out, good drinks options (we had tea, and hot chocolate), and some delicious cakes. A great place for a brewk whilst shopping.

After wandering around Sheringham we were looking for somewhere to grab some lunch and this cute tea room really stood out. We went in were met by a busy environment however the staff were quick to find a space upstairs for us. We ordered our food including the “cheese tea” which mum went for. All food we delicious and sauces and spreads were very generous. Overall the place was lovely and would highly recommend! :)

Sandwiches were delicious, had the club on sour dough and it came with a fresh crunchy slaw and salad with tangy dressing. Coffee was exceptionally good and the cakes although we didn’t have room to try looked delicious and we will definitely be back to sample them next time we are in Sheringham. Also let our pooch indoors which was lovely.

We called today for coffee and a fruit scone. It is quite small inside, there are more seats available upstairs. Dogs are allowed inside downstairs only. It was very busy and most seats were taken and tables needed clearing. We had 2 drinks and a scone for £8.50 the scone was beautifully light and tasty and the coffee was creamy. Toilets are available up a steep staircase.

Lovely, dog friendly cafe, with seats inside (including an upstairs room), & outside (front courtyard or back garden). We visited twice on different days, eating different toasted sandwiches & wraps (with teas & coffees for drinks). Everything was tasty & filling (what we ate came with a small side salad too). The cafe (& loos situated up a steep staircase) was found to be very clean & tidy. Good value, & the staff were all efficient & extremely friendly. 😃 Will DEFINITELY return here when I’m next in the area! 👍👏👍👏👍 …& it didn’t take long, we went back the next day, one of the highlights of our week in Norfolk! 😋😀

It was really nice. The drinks came out very quickly. Food came out straight after and was very delicious. Unfortunately they didn't have any patties but it made up for the amounts of sausages they gave me in my breakfast burger. My friend had another meal that you see in the image. He said he absolutely enjoyed it and was actually too much food for him 😂 also had their milkshake and it tastes like they use actual strawberries as I had the strawberry milkshake 😁✨

Absolutely wonderful little cafe - the staff are attentive and welcoming, the vibe is very chilled (both indoors and outdoor seating), and the food itself was gorgeous. We had eggs royale and eggs Benedict, and we both agree it's the best we've had so far in Norfolk. We're already excited to come back!!

The Two Lifeboats is a charming pub with a cozy atmosphere that also offers simple accommodations with complimentary cooked breakfast. Located at 2 High Street, the building has an interesting history, originally serving as a coffee shop and later as the town's Fishermen's Mission. Over time, it transformed into an inn known for its rum shack and gin palace, offering great seafood and real ale with stunning sea views. The well-furnished bedrooms provide a comfortable stay for guests.
We turned up just before the pub stopped serving food but were made to feel welcome by the manager. We sat outside and enjoyed a wonderful view of the sea and the sunset. Served delicious food by a lovely young waiter called Henry. He was attentive, polite and is a credit to the pub’s team. A great choice of real ales on offer and a good, pub menu. Our food was delicious, especially the ham used for the ham, egg and chips! A really nice experience. Thank you.

Fantastic service, food was absolutely beautiful. It was a nice change to walk in to the lovely seafront pub without a reservation at 1pm on bank Holiday Sunday and be seated straight away. The service was great, quick and polite. And the food was lovely! Best fish we had had in a while. It is pricey over £20 per portion but it was nice food in a good location so you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend.

Three weeks ago a party of 9 of us had the most enjoyable meal. We had two toddlers with us and were allocated a great window seat. Staff were efficient and friendly and I personally had the best fish and chips I have had in my life and I am a fussy eater. Cheesecake dessert was great too. Thank you for the service and quality.

Excellent all round. Lovely fish and chips, nice light and crispy batter, chips done perfectly. We had a side of coleslaw that was home made and much nicer than the usual store bought ones you get in most places. Staff were all friendly and attentive. Excellent service all round. Dog friendly, with dog treats at the bar. Excellent location with views of the sea. Highly recommended

We stopped off for a meal and we certainly weren't disappointed! We had some of the best fish and chips we have ever had and all washed down with a couple of nice well kept ale. And it's dog friendly too. But what made it even more enjoyable was the friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble and so polite. Full marks and thankyou

This pub is superb. We always eat there when we visit Sheringham. The food is always high quality and we've never had to wait very long at lunch or dinner. The staff are always polite and friendly and very helpful. One member of staff Kwarme is a proper gentleman and makes us feel very welcome. All in all I cannot recommend this place highly enough, and it's definitely the best pub food in Sheringham that we have tried. A1

Roomy dining area in a great location. Friendly and attentive staff. Good “pub grub” menu and the food was well prepared and presented. Quite a premium price though.

Popped in for a drink and snack with my wife and dog. Not really my type of place, as I prefer traditional pubs. However the service was good, although our order for a bowl of chips seemed to take ages to arrive. The beer was also good and the staff friendly. My wife liked the place more than I did and the dog enjoyed his couple of chips.

The Lobster is a pub located in the town of Sheringham, known for its fishing industry and specifically lobster and crab fishing. The pub has a historical background, originally functioning as a coaching inn in the early nineteenth century. Its interior is decorated with lobster-pots, nets, and ships lamps, giving it a unique ambiance. The stables have been converted into a dining area while maintaining their original structure.

Sunday lunch was lovely but they forgot my Yorkshire Pudding (because I had ordered the vegetarian option?). I did get one when I asked the waitress though. You can’t order drinks from the table which is a bit of a pain when you’re dining alone. Good pub grub 😊

The perfect place to go for a few days away. A stones throw from the sea and shops nearby. The hotel room was comfortable and had everything you need. Tea/coffee/biscuits, TV and free WiFi. The food was delicious and well presented. I had the lamb shank and ( the meat was so tender), followed by sticky toffee pudding. Breakfast was very good as well. Cereal was offered and a lovely fried breakfast. Plenty of choice on the menu. I would definitely recommend the lobster.

We have just returned home after a night stay. Hotel is right in the heart of Sheringham, less than a 5 min walk to the beach. We were greeted by a lovely lady ( with pink red hair)! She took us to our room, made sure we had a table for dinner and make sure we knew everything we needed to know. Room had everything you needed even an Nintendo! Beds was a bit hard but was ok for one night. We stayed in room 6, however could hear everytime someone come in or went out or walked above us but didn't bother us to much. Food was beautiful and breakfast was amazing! Staff can't do enough for you and make our stay very welcoming! We would highly recommended and will certainly be back. Hotel only had around 5/6 parking spaces. We parked in car park less than 1 min away for £11.00 for 24 hours

Amazing staff, great location, family friendly and dog friendly! staff were very welcoming, we stayed in the family room which sleeps 6 (there were 5 of us)and it was perfect for our 2 night stay. The beach was within a few minutes walking distance. The food was great especially the full English breakfast! Sheringham was beautiful and the train station is within walking distance. You are able to board the steam and diesel trains here and the train station has been restored to its former glory.

The Sheringham Trawler is a popular seafood eatery in Sheringham, offering a variety of dishes from the classic fish and chips to scampi, haddock, fish cakes, and burgers. It's known for its budget-friendly options and family-friendly atmosphere. The restaurant has become an icon in Sheringham since it opened in 2014 with its maritime-themed decor and bustling kitchen serving piping hot cod and chips all day.
A chipper with an eat-in area that is dog friendly - brilliant. I chose scampi and chips - very tasty (pics of menu attached - good value over 60’s special available). My dog had a sausage to take-away - no need to say that she enjoyed it! Good to see locals both eating in and ordering takeaways, supporting a local business. Nice and clean and the service was good.
JILL O — Google review
Absolutely scrumptious fish and chips. The batter is maize-free. I'm allergic to maize and corn so I must check. Most chippies use corn, but to my delight, maize-free! And really delicious! Chips cooked in beef dripping, has a lovely depth of flavour. I came here on a day trip from Norwich Over 60's special is excellent value for money: cod, chips, mushy peas (there's a choice), and tea or coffee. I asked for decaf and was given this. A really lovely meal. When you compare I paid £7.30 for a latte and a date slice in a cafe in Norwich, you'll agree this is fantastic and if you're on a low income like me, you'll leave feeling even more satisfied because you've had a super hot satisfying meal!

Walked in and managed to get a table as we were a bit late...so the crowds had quietened down a bit. Fantastic Haddock and chips. Freshly cooked. Had a choice to ask for fish to be skinless which was a bonus. The best crispy fish I've ever eaten. Not too oily either. A bit basic in atmosphere but good food.

Popped in here, late on a Sunday, just before closing. The staff were welcoming and the fish was amazing. Just the lightest batter. And freshly cooked whilst we waited. The decor could do with an upgrade, but all is forgiven because of the quality of food.

Decided to try somewhere new. Never again. Staff were really nice and friendly but had one of the worst fish & chips. Fish was greasy and the batter was disgusting. Chips were ok but the portion size for a large was ridiculous. I would like to see what a small looks like. Usually a large will feed the 3 of us. I think we had around 6 chips each. Curry sauce was the only thing I enjoyed. Sadly I won’t be returning.

Absolutely tiny burger for £15.50. Tiniest bit of lettuce, no other salad. About £3 worth of food. Smallest pub meal I've ever had. Burger had a lot of inedible grit in it. When I complained, the waiter took it back to ask for a bit more salad, returned with just 3mm bit of tomato added, saying: "The chef said it's the best he can do." Seriously? Nice setting, but the pub has really gone downhill. We'll never eat here again. Appalling waste of money. Avoid.

Dave's Fish Bar is a charming restaurant attached to a chip shop, offering a special deal that includes haddock, cod, or plaice with chips, bread and butter, a drink, and the choice of mushy peas, curry sauce or gravy. The food is served hot and freshly cooked with crispy light batter and generous portions of chips. The curry sauce is particularly noteworthy for its old-school chunky and sweet flavor. Visitors praise the friendly staff and efficient service.
Highest quality Fish&Chips, large code is huge and the butter is see through😋😋😋 this is a very traditional enghish F&C shop full spot, no kebabs, no burgers. As for us its the best place to eat high quality of english chippy in this area👍👍👍

Thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Dave's fish bar & restaurant. I opted for the regular haddock & chips with curry sauce and they gave us this HUGE portion. The best fish and chips I’ve ever eaten, yes really! Very fresh and lightly battered fish, non-greasy, fluffy chips and several side options, plus drinks. Choice of sit down restaurant or takeaway available - we chose the former and were greeted by friendly staff, served super quickly. The restaurant was busy with a nice atmosphere and the queue outside for the takeaway was snaking back down the path (always a good sign). There are benches attached to the wall on which to eat outside too. Having just returned from Cornwall and tried a few fish and chip takeaways and eat-in places, Dave’s is by far the best. Try this place, you won’t be disappointed!

Whilst at the coast anywhere in the UK I always have my favourite large Cod with curry sauce This was my first visit to Sheringham so after some very helpful advice from the local people who live in the area Daves came out NO 1 everytime This advice was good seriously good My Cod was so enormous it quite simply wouldn't fit inside the tray ( nice) Perfectly cooked chunky white meat with lovely batter, delicious rich curry sauce the best chips ever So I went back twice during our weeks holiday 🙃 All for about £10 and the best fish & chips I've ever had........ awesome I'll be back 👍

Hands down, the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in the whole of the UK! (Previously it would have been the catch in porthleven Cornwall), but this is by far and away some of the best food I’ve ever eaten from either a takeaway or a restaurant! The fish was cooked to absolute perfection, the chips were crispy and soft, the mushy peas were great, and to top it all off, it wasn’t the standard tartare sauce, it just elevated the dish perfectly. Value-wise, brilliant. £13.50 for large (and I mean LARGE) cod regular chips and mushy peas, I’m 6ft and 14stone and couldn’t finish it all!! Recommended by a local, and I certainly will to everyone I meet. Fishers and frenchies (in wells and Hunstanton) have absolutely nothing on these guys!

The Windham Arms, located in Sheringham, has a rich history dating back to at least 1808 and is named after the Windham/Wyndham families who owned nearby Felbrigg Hall. The pub holds significance as it was licensed just two years before the last Wyndham at Felbrigg passed away. In 1838, licensee Robert Sunman constructed Sheringham's first lifeboat, the Augusta.
If you love a proper pub you will love this place. It’s a great location with good sunny outside seating. It is an old fashioned ‘proper’ pub so don’t expect champagne, cocktails, lots of food or a gastro pub style inside - It’s a proper much missed local pub! However if you are looking for a great beer, very friendly staff, definitely go. Great location & the landlord has everything under control - we were there for the football and it was fun, relaxed and welcoming. My only complaint is that it opens at 1 and sometimes later so check the times - good landlord’s need a life too!

Way better than it used to be - good beers, though a little quiet. Edit: Two stars off my last review. Still the place to go for a good pint in Sheringham during the tourist season, but in the off season, whilst the beer is still good, the front bar is very odd. They seem to pride themselves on making the atmosphere so bad they drive out all but a few persistent locals.

The Kitchen is a charming café with pleasant staff and delectable cuisine. The party indulged in appetizing soups, including leek and potato as well as tomato & basil, which were both flavorful and served piping hot. They couldn't resist trying the sausage roll, which boasted an ideal ratio of savory sausage to flaky pastry. What stood out was the ingenious addition of small scissors attached to the sauce packet, preventing messy encounters with ketchup.
We enjoyed tea and bacon sandwiches on the Sunday morning before setting off for home. The tea was excellent the sandwiches were also excellent, I can honestly say we couldn't fault it in anyway, Jackie & Jim were friendly and polite, and it finished off our stay in Norfolk, perfectly, Thank you.

Food was mediocre but very overpriced. Only small place not many tables on our visit one table was reserved "for friends" they were apparently running late (all this discussed in front of customers) lots of tutting as they hadn't yet showed on foot customers tried to take a seat but were ushered out and were spoken rudely about once they had gone. Then proceeded to moan about the late friends all this in ear shot. If that's how they treat customers in front of customers they should have a rethink as no customers means no business.

The Grade II listed building boasts elegant rooms, a cozy bar serving afternoon tea, and a refined fine-dining restaurant. Surrounded by landscaped parkland, colorful gardens, and woods, the hotel offers a serene atmosphere with stunning views of the coast and countryside. Guests can enjoy delightful walks in the vicinity and admire fascinating original features such as an intricate oak staircase.
Just had Sunday lunch at the Dales Hotel and it was excellent. We had the sirloin, which was melt in the mouth and the vegetables were superb - I could have eaten a whole dishful of the buttered cabbage! However, the icing on the cake was the dessert. We had the toffee apple sponge with ice cream and popcorn, which was absolutely delicious. The dining room is lovely and the staff are attentive without being oppressive. One of the best meal that we have had in a long time. On the way out we saw a couple having afternoon tea and that looked amazing too! Eating out is often a disappointment nowadays but the Dales was a real treat, very good value too. We will be back!

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel for a couple of nights recently. We couldn’t fault anything ! The hotel itself, the staff, the food and the grounds it’s in were absolutely lovely. Our room was clean and comfy and was quite spacious. The staff couldn’t have been more polite and helpful and the meal we had was very tasty and satisfying. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and we have no doubt we would book again in the future. Stunning place and fabulous staff. Thank you.

Really disappointed with the meal today. Ordered Roast chicken because according to the menu, it came with kale (favourite veg!) there wasn't any on my plate, it was replaced with broccoli which we have quite a lot at home. There were also pea shoots, lovely, but not mentioned on the menu, and again, not mentioned. My MIL ordered the Ploughman's, which was supposed to have a scotch egg. Guess what? No scotch egg, no mention when served, and again, no apology. When pudding arrived I was rather confused by the no-chocolate "black forest sundae" which was at least 85% cream and ice cream, a few berries (strawberries, blackberries and a few cherries at the bottom. When I was asked if everything was ok, I said there was no brownie at all, and the waitress laughed and said she would go and kick the chef. Again, no apology. Surely they should state if items are not available and check suitability of replacements, allergies after all are a thing, and they should know about and care about Natasha's law and the seriousness of serving something other than what has been stated. Really unimpressed, we were given the excuse that there was a function on, but this was a poor meal and we won't return. I should say we were given 10% off the bill, but the food and the service were just not up to scratch and I think that was the very least they could do. Nice building though.

This is a very nice hotel in a good location. Whilst I appreciate that the building is old I found the bedroom and public rooms to be very dark. A few strategically placed LEDs would help. Experienced a blocked toilet which was dealt with promptly. Overall the service was good but breakfast service a tad sloppy ( clearing dirty plates either very slow or not happening). Food quality good, but again I would have to make a criticism that often food was served almost tepid . A particular hate of mine! Whilst the criticisms may seem petty, the context is important, this hotel does charge premium rates. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Very beautiful area, to be honest very impressive with the services and the view of the place. Very peaceful and quiet. Went for dinner with my family, ordered classic fish & chips, and burger. Was cooked very tasty. The waitress was very kind and welcoming, dogs are welcomed in this area. Inside is absolutely beautiful, dining in private is available.

We have just had an amazing weekend away. Food was amazing, lovely fresh produce and cooked perfectly. Jo was the most wonderful person and really made our stay. Big shout out to Jo she deserves a five star ⭐ just for herself. Can’t wait to return later this year.

Visited for lunch in summer we had 1 salmon baguette and 1 fish finger baguette it was beyond 5* lovely chunks of white fish so a month later we returned and the chips on both meals were cold the fish fingers were cold greasy and little amount of fish.... Anywhere can have a bad day and we love the setting so we put it down to short staff, not the usual chef.... TODAY the home made fish finger baguette should have been called a BATA BAGUETTE out of the whole meal one bit of fish the size of a 2p coin..... NEVER AGAIN

I stayed at the hotel the second weekend of August. It was my first visit to Sheringham and Cromer. I had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel. The following day, I stayed for breakfast. I was delighted by service, location and food. I will describe and explain these below. Room was well furnished and functional. Decor and choice of furniture reflected good taste and a sober, yet elegant choice of colours and tapestry. Service was excellent - highest standards of professionalism and kindness were major strengths of the establishment. From the moment I started enquiring about the hotel over the phone, until the booking, Jordan was extremely kind and welcoming. On the arrival, Jo ensured we had everything we needed and also brought us an iron, as we needed ironed attires for an event. Always available and happy to answer to our queries, staff performed extremely well. We had dinner at the restaurant and tasted local specialties (Cromer crab with garlic and butter sauce accompanied by potatoes and salad, cheeseboard of Norfolk's typical products). These were complemented by white wine (Pinot grigio), which accompanied the meal beautifully (see pictures). Ingredients, fresh and locally sourced, were perfectly combined to deliver a tasteful meal. I found the same level of quality during breakfast. Delicious and well presented food (smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and toast, eggs Benedict) was timely served. Waitresses were courteous and professional. It was a very positive experience overall. Lastly, location. Nestled in a tranquil hill, not far from the entrance of Sheringham national park and a graceful church, the architecture of the Dales Country house, with its archs and fountain at the front entrance (see pictures), blends with the natural beauty of the location. On arrival, one can easily notice the spacious and accomodating garden leading to the main reception room on one side, and the smaller reception on the other. The building is in part the result of a graceful work in vernacular style, which may make the exteriors more appealing to visitors. It was a marvelous first experience in Norfolk and The Dales Country House Hotel really contributed to it! I strongly recommend it.

Over the years my life has had fewer constants. However the mainstay of Pungleperry's gelato on Sheringham high street is for me one of life's great pleasures. The best Gelato in the UK hands down and 2nd best I've tasted (Italian just can't be beaten!) it is simply miraculous. Just ate on of their new shortbread stars and wow, might have to buy a few more!! Pretty good coffee too, if you're visiting Sheringham, visit Pungleperry's.

Guests rave about the three-course options, featuring delicious starters like garlic bread and mains such as tender plaice with chips and salad. The dessert selection, including sticky toffee sponge pudding, adds a sweet finish to your meal.
Warm friendly atmosphere, fantastic food, I had the prawn cocktail and Gary had the garlic mushrooms starters really nice, well presented, the main course I had was gammon pineapple, Gary had Sweet n sour chicken with rice, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals ... definitely recommend them

Lovely food. Homemade. I had chicken with mushroom sauce and it was beautiful! No gristley bits and very tender. The sticky toffee sponge pudding was also very good. Great value. Service you couldn't fault and the atmosphere was like stepping back 30 years! Superb little place! Will definitely go back!

Really friendly welcome. Had 3 courses for £14. 99 on Saturday evening. Garlic bread to start, plaice, chips and salad for main and sponge and custard for pudding. Lovely home cooked, food and good portions. Yes the decor is slightly dated, but for us that adds to the experience, it's like going home. We will be back. Thank you so much x

The deco may not be contemporary, it may not have bistro cuisine but, if you want to step into an eatery that serves excellent homemade food that taste great, served with a friendly smile and jokey banter, all at a very reasonable price then we fully recommend it. All six of us had a smile at the end of the meal.

Such a weird little place. Inside it's decorated like the 50s and the vibe matches. The food is incredibly basic and I could've cooked better at home. I had a cheese and ham toastie and when it came it was two peices of toast with some Tesco packet ham and basics cheese. Didn't even bother to slice it. Chips were oven chips. I regretted stepping inside, but at least it filled a hole until dinner.
JP83 — Google review
Appeared to be a family run business. The food was good if unexceptional. It was a bit of a misstep to semi-drown a decent cottage pie in gravy but it was a robust meal. Places like this deserve a steady footfall in these hard times and their prices were reasonable.

Fish & chips restaurant
Pia Fish & Chips offers a diverse menu with favorites like slow-cooked lamb rump in red wine jus, ever-changing soup combinations, and an exciting range of desserts. Customers have enjoyed the delicious fish and chips with crispy batter that melts in your mouth, as well as jumbo battered sausages and fresh-to-order meals. The welcoming owners and fresh, great-tasting food make it stand out among competitors nearby.
Fantastic fish and chips! You could tell from the colour of the batter that the oil is lovely and fresh and the chips were some of the best I have had. I've had battered gherkin elsewhere but never whole like it is here - what a revelation! Crisp outer and wonderfully, vinegary, juicy inner. I suppose other places may have larger portion sizes but really?! Quality cokes first and there was still more than enough to fill up a very hungry adult. Small cod and medium chips, mushy peas, gherkin and a can of fizz came to £13. Far from extortionate and cheaper than many. Will be using each time I go to Sheringham:)
Becky L — Google review
Here you see almost £20 worth of food, yes, you read that right, £20. So PIA don't do any meals, you have to buy everything separately, so for one adult and two kids I decided we'd share a large portion of chips between the 3 of us, my son would have a burger, and my daughter and I would share large cod. You'll see from the photos what "large chips" looks like, a half filled tray!! And as I collected the order, I asked if I could have a tray for the fish - "You can do, but that will be 20p extra" was the reply - hold on, I had to order everything separately, so really, it should come in it's own tray!! No, not worth arguing. The really irony is, I actually spent less that I could've done! Because PIA price everything individually, I tried to spend as little as possible, sharing the miserly "large" chips and average-sized "large" cod between us. Whereas, if they offered Mini Fish, Chips and Sauce for, say £9.50, and Burger and Chips for say £8.50, I would've paid it!!! Yes, they would've given me slightly more chips and an extra pot of sauce, but they could've given us substantially cheaper fish (pollock) and would've taken almost £8 more! AND I would've felt like I'd got a reasonable deal. As it is, I feel ripped off. Quality wise, it was alright, but for price, shocking. A cheap frozen burger from the local cash and carry and a greasy fish. Luke warm sauce with a skin on it. I could've complained, but we were hungry and were dealing with the company that wanted to charge me 20p for a tray, are they going to take my complaint seriously?!

I’m not at all impressed with these fish and chips. Don’t get me wrong the restaurant itself was absolutely lovely and well done. The food was the only issue. Waited for about 15 minutes just for one of the worst fish and chips I’ve ever consumed. The fish was very greasy and lacked taste. And had a watery consistency to the gravy and curry. The chips were bland. I think this food could be better. This place is not the sort of place I’d recommend anyone going to unless you’re obviously doing a review on the worst fish and chips. My honest review.
Isabella A — Google review
Some of the best chips I have ever had. The food was fresh and the vegetable spring roll and curry spring rolls were full of flavour. A welcome suprise were the vegan options and chips cooked in vegetable oil. Very good costal fish and chip shop.

Was waiting for nearly 30min for a large portion of chips two sausages, OAP meal and fish cake. I couldn’t believe how many orders they messed up and not put through correctly. Our order was messed up we never received the fish cake and they claimed we didn’t pay for one however when I priced it up it was included. We will never go back it was terrible

Went here for lunch, looked ok from the outside. Start by saying the fella behind the counter was unfriendly and loud. Lady was nice by because she was foreign hard to understand, when she asked me what sauce I I wanted, I said ketchup and mayonnaise the bloke then shouted you can only have one, as myself and my wife were both having meals bit confused. Now the food. I had fish and chips, never seen such a skinny bit of Cod. Give you a bit of perspective a fish finger was about double the size in depth., more batter than fish. Wife had the burger, was like a burger you get from a bad lay bye burger van. This place I would definitely NOT recommend
Peter J — Google review
Apparently this is medium chips. Lady serving was rude and blunt in telling us it was cash only. Waited in a queue for food for much longer than necessary considering the chips and sausage were ready to go. Did taste okay but overall experience means I will not return.

My husband had a near miss as we entered the shop as the floor was wet and like an ice rink. The female server just gave us a stony stare 🤨 Another customer did the same prior to us. The server was not very welcoming, I placed our order which arrived freshly made and in good time. The chicken nuggets were processed and not like the image displayed. The large vid was very small. Overall it was ok but I would not come back.

Fantastic cafe with great choice of high quality value for money dishes. The ultimate breakfast was superb with crispy hash browns, delicious sausage patty and well cooked lean bacon. We also bought some pies and a pasty to bring home, both of which were excellent. Highly recommend.

Popped in for a spot of breakfast. Gent that served us (slightly older than most of the lads in there, glasses wearer) was a proper gent, all sirs and madams and had a wonderful manner about him that you don't see that often, polite And always doing bits when not speaking to customers. The food was okay.. nothing special, the breakfast was hot (mushrooms were Luke warm, but they never seem to hold any heat anywhere I go), bacon was good quality, the sausage pattie wasn't a good replacement for sausages, but it was tasty and not filled with rush and filler. Eggs you could have used to repair plaster board with sadly, but £12 for the breakfast, a cup of half decent coffee and 2 slices of toast with butter was decent value, just a shame the eggs were a real let down. Probably go back with out too much persuasion. There were a fair amount of flies about, it'd be nice to see a blue light trap/door curtain or something similar, I know round this way they are an issue and the place really did benefit from having the doors open to let the fresh air flow through in what was a humid day, but some prevention would be an advantage

The food itself was decent, but the service was shocking, in my opinion. The server was short and rude with us. She didn't smile or greet us when we came in. She just said to find our own table. She was snappy when taking our order, and it didn't make for a particularly nice experience. We got 2 breakfasts, which were supposed to be £9 each and for some reason got charged £19, maybe also for 2 glasses of tap water, but that should be free.

Mini breakfast for £10 low quality everything. The tomatoe ketchup is even presented in a Heinz ketup bottle… but I knew something was not right with the taste. It’s being refilled with a lower quality product. Look at the expiry date on the lid! 2024! Make you wonder are they just topping up the bottle when it gets low? Keep in mind these bottles are manufactured for single use. You know this embossed 1 at the base of the bottle -

Chinese takeaway
Chinese restaurant
Lotus House is a delightful gem for those craving authentic Chinese cuisine. With a prompt service that ensures your order arrives right on time, it’s perfect for gatherings or special occasions. While they may not always have crispy seaweed available, the menu offers an array of flavorful dishes like satay chow mein and black bean chicken with just the right amount of spice. The chicken balls, affectionately dubbed "chicken cylinders," are smaller yet plentiful, accompanied by a rich sauce that elevates the experience.
First time here even though living around here for years. First impressions pretty good. Phoned in and ordered, they didn't have crispy seaweed so not a great start. Ordered for 6 and got at 6, so very prompt. Also they take card so that's nice. Also looks like a bit of parking out the front which is very handy (although plenty of free street parking down the road) Enjoyed the satay chow mein. Asked for the black bean to be sticky and it had chilli in but maybe not so hot as it could have been, playing it safe is fine though. Chicken balls we renamed chicken cylinders they were fine but smaller, although more numerous, than we're used to. Sauce with then was nicer I thought, more complex. Lots of prawns in those dishes so that was good. Altogether a good deal cheaper than our normal one for special occasions, which redresses the former points🎉

Blimey. I have had Chinese take aways all over the country. I didn’t know what to expect here as it was my first time having a Chinese from here. It’s the most gorgeous, fresh tasting , well presented full of flavour meal we could ask for. My little daughter usually only picks at her Chinese take aways back home , she couldn’t stop eating this. What an absolute credit to take away food this is. When someone cares about food , they produce something great , this is something great. I am a VERY happy customer and will have one every time we come here on holiday. Thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed my “Naked Bowl” with pulled pork - it was filling and delicious. The Strawberry Lemonade was refreshing on a sunny October Saturday. All prepared fresh, and quick, to order, friendly and pleasant team, dog friendly, great view over the beach from the outdoor (uncovered) seating area - perfect location to enjoy lunch. I would definitely eat here again when in the area.

💥 Seriously impressed with this one. Ordered the Chicken Naked Bowl and it hit the spot perfectly. Fresh, zingy, and packed with flavour — everything felt well-balanced without being too heavy. Portion size? Just right. Left feeling satisfied but not stuffed (ideal if you’re heading for a beach walk after). The chicken was tender and juicy, the toppings were generous, and the sauces brought it all together like a dream. Honestly, one of the best lunch spots in Sheringham if you’re after something tasty and fresh. Would 100% come back. 🌮🔥

Had a meal here on a warm sunny evening in July. It's basically a really nice kiosk selling Mexican food on the edge of the promenade. Food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Seating is outside and quite limited if you don't want to sit on the beach etc. There are plenty of benches along the prom, though. We had a great laugh with the people sat next to us. Atmosphere was great, but I guess that would depend on weather, as well as how chatty you and the other clientele happen to be. And as for that sunset! Food is definitely recommended. This might become one of our favourite haunts over the summer if this weather keeps up!

Great little Mexican spot right by the seaside, beautiful views looking out onto the North Sea! 🌊 Open every day from a round midday to 7pm ish, weather dependent. Food is reasonably priced and there’s some solid options for the 🇲🇽 Mexican lover! A small choice of cold beverages also available 🧊 Highly recommended if you are in the area and are looking for a quick, tasty, well priced food option 👌

Had a great meal here! Service was friendly and quite quick considering how busy they were! Really enjoyed the flavours and the options on offer. Would definitely return if we come back to the area!

We arrived at the end of a busy August weekend and they had run out of beef and chicken. So, we had bean nachos and a sweet potato fitter burrito and shared them. The potion size was just right. The service was friendly and the food was amazing. It was crazy how many people were losing it at no being able to eat meat. The staff were offering to put burgers in burritos or slice them onto nachos. We spent £20 for 2 hot meals with a beach view which is cheap for the quality of the food. Food was ready in 10 minutes. The chefs were working really hard to keep up with demand. It's difficult to get good Mexican food made with care, so this was a real find.

The Gangway is a highly recommended spot known for its excellent coffee and evening drinks. The place offers a variety of craft beers, including fruity and sour varieties, as well as an interesting selection of gins. The menu features slow-cooked lamb rump in red wine jus, ever-changing soup combinations, and a range of desserts. It's also praised for its high-quality beers with unique guest taps and impeccable staff knowledge.
I only ever pop in for a few beers, but what a lovely place to have in Sheringham. They have good quality beers with random guest taps that are hard to get elsewhere, and the knowledge of the staff is impeccable. I haven’t had their wine or coffee but I get the feeling it’s good too, everything high quality. Lovely in the summer as sun sets as you get that last bit of sun as it goes down.

Everytime I'm in Sheringham I will frequent this fantastic coffee shop. I recommend you pay it a visit if you can. The staff were polite, helpful and friendly. My bit of Victoria sponge and my pot of English breakfast tea was served quickly with a smile and friendly manner. The cake was excellent and the tea was piping hot. I cannot rate this place any higher but if I could I would.

No issues with the drinks we had but the service has much room for improvement! It’s a prime location, extremely busy but the waitress that served us couldn’t even be bothered to crack a smile or even interact with us, not even a hello. The coffees were put down on the table with such force it made our dog jump! Definitely won’t be returning unfortunately as clearly staff aren’t happy being there!

My second favourite bar in Sheringham after the Line's End. Great team here who can't do enough for you. The coffee is pretty darn good, too.

Great place(s) to go drink. Pub, cocktail bar and cafe in one sharing outside space. 10/10 on the espresso martini and a great beer selection

Dog friendly, nice selection of drinks both alcoholic and hot and cold beverages. Sadly I Don’t frequent the place as much as I used to as I do find some members of staff are really quite miserable and not warm or friendly, one female in particular comes to mind. But hey, if this sort of thing doesn’t bother you it’s well worth a visit. On the downsideThere’s only one toilet, but I believe you can go to their sister bar next door.

Nestled on the bustling high street of Sheringham, Winibees Bakery is a delightful takeaway-only spot that promises to satisfy your sweet tooth. This charming bakery specializes in an array of mouthwatering bakes, complemented by a selection of coffees, hot chocolates, teas, and milkshakes available in various flavors. With options for milk, oat, and soya for your beverages and a commitment to offering at least one vegan and gluten-free treat daily, there's something for everyone.
Fantastic place with exceptional brownies and cookies. Freshly baked, great variety and consistent high quality. I tried a range of products and all were excellent. Cornflake brownie was my favourite. Lovely, friendly service from the lady as well. I'll be ordering with the postal service. Amazing place.

This little bakery is so cute, their cakes and tray bakes are amazing, we got the cornflake cake/chocolate brownie and it was easily the most delicious cake I've ever had. They are a little pricey at £4.95 each, but wow, as a now and then treat it is so worth it. I only wish I lived nearby as I'd be there every day 10 put of 10 easily.

I had to waste a little time waiting to collect something so had a wander about in the town and stumbled across the bakery. Having a huge dilemma of what to buy, honestly I could have bought one of everything because I have a very sweet tooth, I finally decided to go for the Toffee Cream Tart for myself and my co-worker. THE BEST EVER !!!!! I will definitely be going back Well done to a small but delicious bakery 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Visited Winnie’s today after wanting to try it for a while. The older lady wasn’t particularly knowledgeable, friendly or helpful about the cakes when I asked ~ she plonked the cakes down without even offering a bag. Shame, because I’m sure the owner is lovely. Cornflake cake with stale cornflakes wasn’t the best to be honest, and a bit pricey. Won’t be going back.

We bought 3 things to taste, the cornflake brownie, the Dubai brownie and the caramel Freddo cookie. All stunning. Lady gladly cut in half so we could share bits from the box. Literally the best baked goods we’ve ever had, keep doing good things! Epic x
Natasha T — Google review
I just had Winibees Bakery Cornflake Brownie and I’m convinced I’ve seen God. The second it touched my tongue, I felt my credit score go up, my skin clear, and my ancestors whisper “yep… this is the one.” The top layer? A celestial sheet of golden, caramel-coated cornflake crunch so perfect I’d fight a fully grown grizzly bear for it. The bottom? A fudgy, decadent brownie core so rich it could probably buy Twitter. Every bite was like being gently drop-kicked into chocolate heaven. I actually blacked out halfway through eating it and woke up holding the empty wrapper, tears in my eyes, unsure if I’d just eaten it or proposed to it. If you don’t try one, you are actively choosing to live a worse life. Winibees — you didn’t just make a brownie. You made a weapon of mass seduction. 11/10, bussin’ doesn’t even cover it.
Samuel M — Google review
They have a wide range of bakes available so it was very difficult to decide. I settled on a kinderella blondie which was delicious but seemed a little soft and underbaked even though id had it in the fridge. I spend a lot of time in Sheringham but hadn't gone in until the other day as the lighting inside isn't brilliant and it's slightly off-putting. The server was also very quiet and not particularly friendly but it wasn't that bug of a deal. It's generally a very nice shop with good food but just a few things brought down the experience.

North @ Burlington in Sheringham is a top-rated restaurant offering a variety of lunch and dinner options along with drinks. The establishment is known for its excellent food, service, and atmosphere. It's also dog-friendly, making it a great spot to visit while in the area. Visitors can expect a relaxed setting with an open kitchen and diverse menu options catering to various preferences.
North at Burlington in Sheringham is not just a restaurant, it is an experience so good you start wondering if you should sell your house and just move in. We had the seafood platter special, sea bass, lamb, and chicken, and honestly it felt like the chefs were competing to outdo one another and we were the lucky judges. The seafood platter was so fresh I half expected it to wink at me, the sea bass was cooked to perfection, the lamb practically melted like butter, and the chicken had me questioning why every other chicken I’ve ever eaten has been such a disappointment. The service was next level too. The staff floated about like friendly restaurant ninjas, topping up glasses and bringing dishes at the exact moment you thought, “I could eat something incredible right about now.” It was all so smooth it felt choreographed, like they’d rehearsed a dance routine called “make these diners ridiculously happy.” One of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to, hands down. If you’re in Sheringham and don’t eat here, you might as well stay home and lick a Pot Noodle lid because that’s the level you’re choosing instead.

Burlington Berties Boutique hotel, is a fantastic stay. From the owners Sally and Joanna and the rest of the staff, Sophie and Matt. My husband and I have stayed here on at least 4 occasions. The rooms are spotless, and the food is out of this world. We always try and stay here one a year. It is a hidden gem within the beautiful town of Sheringham. If ever looking for a place to stay or even just a meal or a few drinks Berlington Berties is the place to go. Any one that doesn't not give this wonderful place a try is a fool. To Joanna and Sally. Thank you both very your warm hospitality and the amazing food. We look forward to the years to come when we visit.

What an experience, had seen some positive feedback before we booked and if anything they under sold the experience. From the get go staff were brilliant-aee comments under allergies below. Walm welcome straight to table, some good mocktails as aperitifs. Modest but good wine list. Menu is small but the food is exceptional prawn cocktails to start, very good sized portion tasted great. Mains panko have, crushed peas and new potatoes, fish was wonderful. Duo of lamb, three good sized slices of lamb and an individual shepards pie, with seasonal vegetables. This course was worth the visit alone truly amazing. Deserts, after such a good meal for us just ice cream and sorbet. We are looking forward to a return visit when next in north norfolk.

Fantastic food and service! Best meal in Sheringham! Lovely cocktails, wine and specials available. Staff friendly and attentive.
Megan D — Google review
Food was good although the Mushroom Tomato and Roast Onion served with the fillet steak were basically raw. We were rushed through the whole experience, we had a drink in the lounge and I asked for the wine list, I was told I would have to wait until we were at the table. When we sat down the starters arrived before we had a chance to ask for the wine list and after that everything was rushed. This was not the dining experience we hoped for. It can not be excused that they were busy as the lights in the kitchen were turned off before we paid the bill. We will not be returning.

We went for Sunday lunch. It's in a lovely quiet part of Sheringham but walking distance from the town. On arrival, we had drinks in the relaxing lounge area and glancing at the menu, I mentioned to my husband that I had hoped to see lamb on the menu but unfortunately it wasn't there. To our surprise, the waitress came back seconds later to tell me that the chef had offered to cook lamb rump for me if that's what I wanted. Hospitality like this isn't found in many places these days and we were very impressed. All the courses were sublime and my lamb was cooked to perfection. Service is efficient and unobtrusive and the price good value for money for this level of cooking and customer care

We use the restaurant because we love it and stay in the hotel. We spent what we did because we like cocktails before, wines with meal and liqueurs after dinner, so we could have spent less per person. The food was great, we all had fish. The kitchen is open so you can see the team cooking, I love that! Service was fantastic as always.

NOT CHILD FRIENDLY. Requested a reservation at this restaurant for a specific date and time. Got a call the following day asking me how many children were in our party (4) followed by a request to know the exact ages of my children. I was then told there were no reservations. If there was no reservations why wasn’t I told that at the start of the conversation? There is no plausible explanation for asking me the ages of my children ahead of staring you are fully booked for tables of 6 (especially when if anything children take up less space than adults). I’ve never had such rudeness from a restaurant .

Takeout Restaurant
Crofters Carvery is a charming, family-owned restaurant with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The owner, Sonya, and her daughter Tilda ensure a warm welcome for all guests. The Sunday carvery lunch draws in crowds due to the excellent food and great value for money. While the interior may need some updating, the delicious pulled pork loaded homemade chips and generous portions of tender meat make it a top choice for visitors to Sheringham.
Great food, great price, great service – what more could you want? Popped in here one windy and rather chilly weekday while we were exploring Sheringham to pick up some lunch. The menu had encouraged us in, as had the rather tasty looking roasts on the counter. As it was only a lunch we decided to be good and not have the full carvery – but I confess it was a close run thing! Instead we both went for the Yorkshire pudding wraps (one with beef, the other turkey) – and wow, what a treat! Stuffed with oodles of delicious meats, topped with stuffing balls and little roast potatoes, along with lashings of scrumptious thick gravy. To say that they hit the spot on a rather bracingly cool day, would be an understatement. Service was fast, friendly and efficient – and the availability of various sauces on the side perfect. I will undoubtedly be back here – probably to give the full carvery a go – when I’m next in the area, as the satisfied glow we both emerged from as we left was delightful! Thanks to the whole team for making ours a great dining experience.

I came here for a Sunday carvery and it was great! There was a good choice of meats, and I had turkey. The gravy was very tasty, and stuffing balls, sausages and Yorkshire puddings were available, as well as vegetables. It was my first visit and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Sheringham. It is quite a small restaurant, so we were lucky to get a table, especially as it was the 1940s weekend.

Lovely, unpretentious eatery. Chef who cut the meats for our carvery meal is a real gentleman. Staff courtesy, food excellent and at a reasonable price. Have recommend to friends and family. Unfortunately no photos of our meals as we ate them too quickly!

What a brilliant gem to have stumbled upon! We needed to get out of the rain and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat... excellent luck that we popped into Crofters! We were immediately greeted by a very courteous and polite man who was most welcoming. I could not fault his service in the slightest; he was impeccably proactive and on the ball. We shared a carvery baguette between the two of us: the meats were cooked to mouthwatering perfection. The chap brought over a serrated knife and an extra plate for my dad and I, which was a nice extra touch as I'd not even thought about it. The baguette would've been more than enough for one, particularly as they offer a side salad with this, but it was also perfect for sharing for a quick nibble. As the carvery baguette was so good, we decided to grab a takeaway carvery for my mum. We mentioned that our parrot, Barney, absolutely loves Yorkshire puddings, and so Barney was gifted an extra one, which he was truly delighted with when we got home! Thank you to the team for a wonderful lunch; I am sure we will be back! Barney sends big love and sincere thanks for his Yorkie!

Visited there on Sunday 17th September, whilst celebrating the 1940’s weekend. We didn’t receive a welcome, received no words of greeting… in fact, no words at all. We (x4) sat down at a table… the owner (elderly chap) did come over to us! Only to lift a reservation plaque into our faces and walk away!!!! I have never experienced such a rude customer service in my life as we received from this miserable specimen of a man. Blimey. What can I say about the breakfast menu. A few menu translations for you... Homemade hash browns = potato waffle Door step bread= par baked chiabata Eggs royal = cold poached salmon with skin on instead of smoked salmon. Staff were ok but did insist that doorstep bread means chiabata as it's "chefs choice of bread of the day". Then apart from one inedible fish dish returned twice, we were about done. They took the price of hot drinks off for some recommence. Is that really enough for that kind of service?

It is their attention to detail that makes Burlington Berties so special. Nothing is too much trouble and that includes the very polite and friendly staff too. The Rooms are tastefully furnished (as is the whole place!), the food is really good and there is ample choice too. The Hotel itself is set in an excellent location, quiet, but close to the Railway Station, Bus Station, Heritage Railway, Town Centre and Sea Front. All within easy walking distance. We had never been to Norfolk and I came across this boutique hotel by chance and booked a three night stay with my partner based on the reviews I had read. Well what a find - the hotel was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and our room was a perfect size with a very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom and shower. The breakfast really was exceptional, freshly cooked to order with lots of different choices. We ate in the North restaurant within the hotel on Tuesday evening, Sophie who looked after us was polite and courteous and the food was excellent. Sally and Joanna who run the hotel and manage everything are lovely people, nothing is any trouble to them, they even helped carrying our luggage up and down stairs without us even asking. We never got chance to say goodbye but thank you all very much for everything. Your hotel really is the star of the show! Mark and Jackie

Had a very enjoyable evening meal in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. On arrival we were meet by the owner (lovely friendly lady) and shown to the lounge, we ordered a drink and warmed up in front of a inviting wood burner. While having our drinks we made our choices from the menu, when our meal was ready to be served we were shown to our table in the dinning room. You could see the staff in the kitchen and could appreciate the work being put into each meal, food was excellent. There was no rush to get you out, after the meal we returned to the lounge for a coffee and chat with some of the hotel guests. The evening was more than just a meal and the owner and staff go out of there way to make it an experience, we were made to feel that we were more than just dinner guests. Thanks to everyone, we will return.

We live very close by Burlington Berties and often have Sunday lunch and during summer sit outside in the garden with a cocktail or two. Last Friday evening the weather was superb, sea air, evening sun and warmth. Sophie made wonderful classic martini and French martini. Ordered the seafood platter, crab cakes, and home made coleslaw prepared by the amazing Joanna, together with a bottle of cold white wine. Followed up with a cheese plate and another cocktail. Fabulous atmosphere, delicious food and service from Sally and Sophie. What else would you want on a summer's evening!

Seaside Charm and a Bit of Romance at Burlington Bertie’s 💕 We escaped to Sheringham for a little seaside getaway and struck gold with Burlington Bertie’s! This boutique hotel feels like something straight out of an Enid Blyton story — if the Famous Five grew up and decided they liked fine bedding and a proper breakfast. Our room was gorgeous — elegant, cozy, and clearly designed by someone who believes in the power of a good mattress and mood lighting. It was the perfect romantic hideaway after a day of sea air and ice cream. The staff were lovely — friendly without being overbearing, and always ready with a smile (and breakfast, which was delicious). The whole place has a quiet charm that makes you want to hold hands over tea and plan your next visit. Sheringham itself is delightful, and Burlington Bertie’s fits in perfectly — classy, calm, and just a short stroll from the beach. Highly recommend for couples, dreamers, and anyone who enjoys their romance with a sea breeze.

My partner and I both had the English breakfast. Fried eggs were cooked to perfection and the Lincolnshire sausages were very succulent and tasty (I paid for an extra one and glad I did as they're so nice). The lady that served us was very friendly too.

Had impromptu breakfast here with my husband after a long beach walk with our dog . We felt very welcomed by the staff .My husband had the full English and I had the most delicious vegetarian full English. Quality ingredients used for both breakfasts - husband gave a sausage thumbs up and my eggs cooked perfectly!

My go to cafe when In Sherringham. Start the day off with their full English breakfast which sets me up for the day. The sausages are made by the owner and very flavoursome. Very friendly staff, very clean and a hidden gem if you don't venture down to the beach.

I've literally just finished their full English and washed it down with a cuppa tea. What a fantastic little place with welcoming staff, great food and lovely sea views. Highly recommended! 👍

Pizza restaurant
Stubbys Pizza is a charming family restaurant with trendy decor and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu features delicious cocktails and a variety of craft beers. The staff is friendly and accommodating, allowing for customized pizza orders. The venue's informal ambiance, pleasant music, and interesting artwork create an enjoyable dining experience. Generous portions of starters like olives are offered, while the stone-baked pizzas are highly recommended. Due to its popularity, it's advisable to make reservations in advance.
I had to leave a review for this wonderful little pizza place as soon as I got home. It was one of the most delicious pizzas I'd ever eaten and the service was lovely too. They really went the extra mile for me and my daughter and we really enjoyed our meal, despite sitting outside whilst it was raining - we were under the shop awning and it was perfect!! Thank you so much
Caroline H — Google review
The pizza is always delicious, I especially love the dougballs and the sauce that comes with them. My only reserve is that it can be very busy and does get incredibly loud. The food itself though is amazing and available for takeaway if you prefer a quieter environment.
Leo T — Google review
My wife, 9-year-old son, and I recently visited Stubby’s Pizza Restaurant and had a great experience. We all really enjoyed our pizzas – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and fast. The ambience of the restaurant was also very pleasant, making it a comfortable and welcoming spot for families. Highly recommend for a casual and delicious meal out!
Martin W — Google review
Second time coming here as the service is fantastic and the food is delicious. Quickly seated and order placed with food quickly following after watching it being prepared and then cooked in the pizza oven. Would highly recommend, just keep an eye on the time as they close during the afternoon.

Stopped for lunch on our final day in Sheringham. The pizza did not disappoint, and the guy who served us was 👌🏻
Stuart M — Google review
Might be the best pizza I’ve ever had, and the sauces and sides are excellent too. Can’t recommend the place enough. We have been the last 3 years on our holidays to Sheringham and it is a highlight of our trips. The place is brilliant, staff are wonderful and there’s nothing that I could say as a negative. Go, go, go!

The food was delicious! The food we had was so fresh and you can definitely tell. The service was wonderful. All the staff were so kind. We shared a pepperoni pizza between 2 of us which was perfect.

Best pizza ever – hands down! Stubby Pizza is our go-to spot for seriously yummy, proper food. The staff are always so helpful and welcoming, and the shop has such a great, relaxed vibe. We also love that dogs are allowed – such a handy bonus when we’re out and about. Whether we eat in, take away, or head down to the beach with a box of hot pizza, it’s always perfect. My boyfriend loves it so much he has to order two pizzas every time we go – it’s that good! Can’t recommend Stubby Pizza enough!

The individuals visited Poppyfields for lunch and both opted for the breakfast bap, a tasty combination of sausage, bacon, and egg. The bacon was thick and flavorful while the sausages were delicious. However, they found the rolls to be subpar as they easily fell apart in their hands, requiring them to use utensils. They also enjoyed a nice hot chocolate that leaned more towards being milky than chocolatey. Overall, their experience was positive and they would consider returning.
Me and my boyfriend went here for lunch. We both had the breakfast bap which was loaded with sausage, bacon and egg. They were delicious with thick bacon and sausages were tasty, but the rolls were pretty naff and fell apart in our hands, I ended up using a knife and fork. I also had a hot chocolate which was nice, quite milky and less chocolatey if you like that. Overall pretty good. Would return.
April P — Google review
The jumbo breakfasts are great - really meaty sausages and excellent bacon. They really live up to their title! We'd give it 5 stars but the extractor fan seemed to be broken the day we visited and we left smelling of cooking oil.

Classic British seaside cafe. Excellent, simple freshly cooked food. Friendly staff. If you're not looking for posh or pretentious but are looking for good, fresh food in a clean friendly atmosphere, this is for you. Gordon Ramsay would give it a thumbs up 👍

If you're in the area and craving some delicious Indian cuisine, Zahra's is a must-visit. This popular takeaway spot has garnered a loyal following thanks to its consistently tasty dishes and friendly service. With an extensive menu featuring mouthwatering curries that are always cooked to perfection, Zahra's ensures you won't leave disappointed. The staff is known for their politeness and willingness to accommodate special requests, like adding extra coriander to your dish.
A chicken naga and lamb vindaloo . I drive from North Walsham to get an Indian from these guy’s they are the best …
Gary C — Google review
Ordered a large lamb shish and donner meat and chips. The lamb shush came in a SMS pita. Hardly any salad. As for the donner meat it tastes boiled and there is no donner spit in the shop? Absolutely awful and hips was still cold in the middle and uncooked. Photo below. Avoid this place. Used to be good many years ago but not any more. Service is lacklustre and bordering on rudeness. They disrepect women in there especially. Rude staff.

I've had their food for quite sometime now. Their curries are always spot on and on time for me to collect. Staff are polite and are willing to present you some good quality Indian! 10/10

Lovely staff, large menu and consistently great food, the curries are amazing-they even put extra coriander in mine as requested. This is my go to Indian takeaway every time and I’m a local…

Was hungry after the gym and nothing else was open got the garlic cheese pizza And a cheese burger. The burger was very nice charred on the top good quality burger and tasted very good I wanted another one, The pizza had its issues it wasn’t perfect but wasn’t bad either I feel the cheese could be higher quality and would have been nicer if was a bit more char on the crust but was far from unpleasant. The service was good did feel a little rushed but I understand it was late. Overall very happy and would definitely return.
Felix B — Google review
They keep missing off the salad on half the kebabs despite us making it clear that we all want salad but the counter where the food is made is just out of sight and if you stand at the counter to ensure they don't rip you off they get angry and tell you to sit down. Today I brought a koftie kebab and instead of a lovely yogurt and herb topping I will given a tiny tub of yellow mint chutney dip and got ripped off. Burgers with cabbage, really? Pizzas are poor quality with often mangy ingredients that will make you ill and some items like southern fried chicken they will refuse to make while they specialize in curry's which are meh. The only redeeming feature of the place was the Donner Kebab meat but that has now gone from the best around to grey garbage and the worst around, no point buying other kebabs as the portions are shrinking badly lately and its not worth the money anymore. Has gone downhill a lot.

Had two takeaways from Zara's this week while staying in the area. I also have used it for a few years. The food is very tasty and I haven't been disappointed yet. The service is friendly but it is very busy so you have to be patient or pre order by phone. Can definitely recommend.

Been coming to Sheringham for over 35 years and this is the best pizza place in Sheringham! Value, menu choices as for pizza bases and toppings, service and fabulous quality. Add to that opening hours that beat all other establishments, with delivery and a user friendly website - congratulations to these innovative hard working entrepreneurs! PS we’ve had three times so can also say really consistent (four times now - truly excellent, thank you!)

Best pizza in Norfolk..the chicken nuggets are so good. Chicken wraps/burgers so good. The staff are kind and friendly.
Amber H — Google review
Pizza was OK, chips were not fresh tasted microwaved, the wrap was awful too much mayo, lettuce was not fresh it was brown and looked spoiled and the chicken were literally 2 chicken goujons which were mainly breadcrumb very little actual chicken.... the dip arrived split open. Delivery driver was lovely and on time but no effort put into the food.

Good pizzas. Eat on picnic table but in the main rd. I don’t have my pizzas delivered anyone as read reports on the local community board. Chips are cheap n nasty.

Me and my friends went on a school trip to Sheringham and we thought this would be a mint place to eat we ordered a large peperoni pizza, the man said it would be ten minutes. After ten minutes i went in and asked how long it would be, he laghed at me and said ten minutes how disrespectful. when i got my food the way the place was built made me fart infront of some sorts, NOT HAPPY😡. My pizza was absolutely boiling hot i took a bite and i caught fire, i waiting for it to cool down only to find out it was the worse pizza ive ever eaten and tasted like dog piss, i threw more than half the pizza in the bin. WORST PIZZA EVER😡😡😡😡

First time trying here, was apprehensive as we are in cromer as to how the food would be heatwise etc , but I can honestly say that it arrived hot, fresh, exactly as ordered and lovely delivery driver provided delivery with a smile and very professional, we have had food from our local places which are only 5mins from home and the food had been cold or wrong items etc , but for our first try with these guys everything was perfect thank you all so much

CA Seafoods is a must-visit destination for seafood lovers, located on Station Road. This charming shop offers an impressive selection of fresh and smoked fish that will tantalize your taste buds. During my recent visit, I was captivated by the delightful aromas wafting through the air as I browsed their offerings. From smoked haddock to chili-smoked mackerel and succulent trout fillets, every item promised freshness straight from the coast.
Great seafood platter. Two crabs, shell on and peeled prawns, salad and dressings with added whole lobster. All excellent and personally I believe good value. Thanks

Purchased some salmon on a day trip. Sadly one is way out of date (17 days). Called and was told that they would swap it out. Explained that I lived 30 miles away. Wasn't bothered. Be warned.
Victor L — Google review
I will be reporting CA Seafoods to the food standards agency. Placed an order for a celebration weekend. Upon receipt the fish was spoiled and left a smell of rotting flesh throughout the house, disgusting. Tried to contact many many times and when we did get through they said write an email which they never replied to. So tried calling again but no reply. You should be ashamed how you treat your customers, the food you sent could have had very serious consequences should a vulnerable person of eaten it, but hey what do you care!

Being in Sheringham, I thought I should have some crab from a local business, and so bought a crab sandwich here. £6 for a very ordinary sandwich, that looked mass produced, with crab sourced from Scotland / Norway. In retrospect, not my best purchase decision.
Steve H — Google review
I have been a customer since March 2020 having regular monthly deliveries without any problems. I have sent two e mails to a Jamie about my recent experience and he has not replied to either. I put my regular order in and was assured there was no problem with it being home delivered. Iras I had not heard anything in the delivery day, they normally call for payment, I called the shop to be told they didn’t have all my order and they would deliver in Good Friday. I got a call on Good Friday to tell me they didn’t have my order and it would be Easter Monday. I cancelled the order and went elsewhere. If they are no longer doing home deliveries why did they just not tell me instead of messing me about. I have been a loyal customer for 4 years and am so disappointed with the way I have been treated they have lost my custom.
Jenny B — Google review
I placed an order with CA Seafoods on 26 January. The order was acknowledged the same day saying, “we're getting your order ready to be shipped. We will notify you when it has been sent“, A delivery date of the 29th was given. Payment taken on the 27th. Coincidentally the day I got a phone call from CA saying that crab was out of stock, and the order would be sent in three weeks. I could cancel order or leave order live and receive the crab when in stock. Foolishly I chose the latter. Over four weeks later, still no order, or even contact. I phoned twice, but was unable to speak to a human, so left messages. No response. I then tried e-mail - nothing. I will have to take steps to recover my payment. I then ordered from a competitor and got a delivery of crab three days later. Very well packed and perfectly frozen with dry ice. If you are considering CA Seafoods, I would think very carefully before placing an order.

Visited yesterday to buy a variety of fresh and smoked fish to take home after out holiday. We were asked to bring our dog into the shop as the owner heard us discussing on who stays outside with our labrador. We love fresh fish from the coast. We bought smoked Haddock, Trout fillets, chilli smoked Makerel, smoked Seabream and smoked Kipper fillets. The fish smells amazing and is lovely and fresh. While we were ordering people also started bringing their dogs into the shop. The owner was lovely and said he doesn't mind as he loves dogs. I found out I can start ordering fish online. Great bonus. 👍can definitely recommend. Thank you for the great service with a smile. 😊 Visited yet again this week and I can still say it is a 5 star service where nothing is seen as too much trouble especially asking for my fresh fish to be vacuum packed. Will definitely be back next time we stay in the area.
