I have eaten mousakka and my friend ordered lamb. The food was delicious and the prices were very fair for the food. After the end of the meal our server offered us ouzo from the house and chatted with us. 5/5 Food and service!!

Me and my little family went away in kos and across from the hotel was this place and the food was lovely and great customer service. Food was above and beyond the hotel food! So, we decided to eat here everyday and they even turned on the livepool game for us. There is a wide variety of food, would highly recommend to anyone!

We fancied a change from our all you can eat buffet at our hotel up the road and couldn't have picked a better place! Welcomed warmly on arrival and throughout the meal. The food was just amazing. Its been almost 20 years since I last had a proper Greek gyros and to have it again tonight, brought back fond memories. Amazing! My husband had the mixed grill and devoured it so it was definitely good 👍🏻 Dessert was just as good. The chocolate soufflé was lush, and the apple pie was fabulous. All in all, a fantastic experience. We've got another week of our holiday and we will definitely be back again 💗

Our best Greek meal ever! Thank you Romeo and family for being so welcoming - we had a wonderful evening! Great atmosphere, friendly genuine family-run taverna … and the food - wow!!!! So so tasty!!! From the wide menu choice, everything is homemade to perfection. Romeo chose a fantastic selection of starters for the 7 of us to share. All so tasty and no leftovers!!! We chose our own mains. My fussy teenagers all found something they loved, which was a relief! We drove over to Kos Town from Kefalos for the afternoon and visited Taverna Romeo especially for dinner . We had the best evening and will be going back for sure 🤩

We called in here for drinks a couple of times on a recent holiday at a local hotel. We never tried the food but it did look really good. What a host though! The owner and his staff made us very welcome and I would highly recommend anyone in this area of Kos to give the place a visit.

Great little place. Food was well presented and yummy. Beer is a tad expensive and only come in 330ml glasses. Views are cool, and the restaurant is very clean! Really enjoyed myself!

Great restaurant / beach bar just outside of Kos town. At C food & mood you can enjoy a cold beverage or a tasty meal during the hot summers. The location is amazing just by the water. You can pay to use the sunbeds just by the water, otherwise you are welcome to be seated in the restaurant section. The prices are a bit higher than other locations in the area. Service is ok.

Lovely view out to see, lovely decor, service is good. Went for lunch and the portions are good size especially the club sandwich! Prawn pasta was ok, carbonara was lovely.. burger was good. Cocktails are nice but they didn't have any of the signature ones available unfortunately. Spicy palomino was delish. I'd recommend.

The atmosphere was nice, right by the sea with nice view. Service was good in the beginning but felt the waiters were lacking attention towards the evening, it was busy but there was a large amount of staff so it shouldn’t have been an issue, yet we didn’t manage to get their attention until we literally stood in the bar ready to pay. The food was nowhere near worth another try for us. We had the starters only as we wanted to go with a light dinner. We were served bread with dill cream. We were not asked if we wanted it and so expected it to be complementary however when we paid the bill the bread was on there, 5€ for 4 slices of bread. The rib eye tacos were hard shell tacos from those typical taco kits you can buy in the store, they were rather stale as if they had been heated but laid out for too long. The steak didn’t seem to have been added any salt or pepper. It was 3 very basic tacos of rib eye, a little greens and dill cream. The beef tartare said it had egg yolk, expecting it was raw egg yolk as a typical tartare however it was a cooked yolk. It was drenched in olive oil and didn’t taste of much else than that, better than the tacos but still disappointing for the price you pay there. Our expectations were very high simply due to the prices on the menu but we got very disappointed. The drinks are good but we won’t be coming back.

I had dinner at Cfood&Mood, and it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet stylish setting that made the evening feel special. We ordered sushi, and it was beautifully presented on a wooden platter, showing great attention to detail. The rolls were fresh, creative, and full of flavor — perfectly balanced between traditional Japanese touches and modern twists. Each bite had a great mix of textures, from crispy toppings to smooth sauces, and the use of sesame seeds and garnishes really elevated the taste. Service was friendly and attentive without being overwhelming, and the pacing of the meal was just right. You could really feel the care put into both the food and the overall dining experience.

The atmosphere is amazing, the view and the ambience great. We got very fast a table and the waiters were all kind. Even a change of table was possible , because it became a bit chilly. The different menus was handed out but it took a while too long until we could order drinks etc. The starters we had were quite good. Our 3 different main courses were not our cup of tea. We had the impression that the chef mixed up too much ingredients, some which doesn’t fit together. A try to deconstruct a traditional main which failed because the taste got lost, the fish in a sauce which was too intense so you couldn’t taste the fish properly and was too small for the price … all in all Our impression is/ was that the restaurant want the be seen as a bit higher class restaurant. The prices are way too high for the performance in general.

I recently visited a beach bar in Kos, and I must say it was a delightful experience! The atmosphere was incredibly cozy, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, which added to the overall charm of the place. I enjoyed some delicious sushi while listening to the pleasant background music, and it truly helped me relax. I highly recommend this beach bar to anyone visiting Kos! It’s a must-visit for a wonderful time by the sea.

Fantastic place to eat. Sat right next to the sea with the sound of the waves gently breaking and views across the ocean. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

The must visit place every night by the ocean! Great food great service and really good Greek food at a good price!!!! We have been coming to Kos for 7 plus years and this is always a place we go to the majority of the time.

We have had two lovely meals at this pretty restaurant this week. You know it's good when you go back. Particularly loved the stuffed vine leaves and the moussaka. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, beautiful at sunset watching the yachts sail in and then watching fireworks later on the evening. The waiters are attentive and are not overly intrusive, just let you have a relaxing evening. You can tell that everyone who works here takes pride in what they do, it's a lovely gem.

Amazing people, amazing food, amazing value. Did I mention amazing? We had a seafood platter for 2 and the kids loved their food too. Only a short walk from kipriotis hotels, where the food gets very boring quickly. Ignore Google maps, it's much closer than the route shows you. Taverna Nestoras absolutely smashed the a la cart menu with even allowing us to order special desserts off the menu (affogato with pistachio ice cream). Also it's a real family feel Greek restaurant ambience right on the beach with sunset views. Thank you.

Great atmosphere and service! Food was dissapointing Gyros plate had very small portion of meat. Pizza was average, did not taste like it was made there. Shrimp was ok

Great spot to look out over the sea, super food and great service. We stayed at Hotel Platanista and this restaurant was great to have right next to the beach.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The service is exceptional, the food is absolutely gorgeous. The views are some of the best you will find in Kos overlooking the beach. Let's not forget the best pints of Alfa beer ever. Served in glasses straight from the freezer, this is an absolute highlight. Owned by generations of the same family. Going to miss this place. Thanks for making it special.

My husband and I visited here twice last week. The staff are so friendly and chatty! They speak very good English & recommended nice food to us. The food was very beautifully presented & delicious & the mocktails were so good! The restaurant is beautiful and you couldn't get closer to the sea if you tried! Beautiful place to eat out, amazing servers/ staff. We’re a party of 15 they made our table big enough without us asking, Our drinks and food was out and served so fast. Couldn’t of asked for a better meal or a better view, Thank you okeanos !

The food is absolutely delicious: fresh ingredients, well- cooked and presented! The oil and the tomato sauce used are supreme but also the fish of the day I had was extremely good served with a large portion of vegetables. The atmosphere is that of an enchanting picturesque spot by the sea, a pleasant way to chill off a day in amazement.

Little gem of a place! Amazing food and service.. home grown and cooked from scratch definitely comes out in the flavour... Well worth the walk out of Kos town for a chilled laid back vibe with incredible views.. Seafood platter is the best I've had.. wish we had time to come back this trip!

Me and my girlfriend had our first holiday to kos this year and we decided the first night to try this place, we’ve visited 5 times over the week and the food has been exceptional every time. The staff are amazing and really welcoming, the views whilst eating are incredible being able to watch over the sea. Honestly not a single bad thing to say about this place, would recommend to anyone visiting kos, amazing staff, food and views. Would 100% come back again!

For me this is the best restaurant in Kos. Everything we ordered was just excellent! The location is lovely overlooking the ocean. Definitely try the chili oil shrimps, mushrooms and vitello tonnato.

I have eaten at some great places but this rates highly. My family (8 of us in all) always find it hard to find somewhere to accommodate us for dinner. Mavromatis not only accommodated us they made our holiday so much more enjoyable. We actually ate here 3 times over the course of our week's holiday in Kos we chose there to have lunch on our last day. The moment you walk in you are made to feel like a returning friend. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The whole environment is exceptional, with tables on the beach if you want one. The view is incredible, wherever you sit. As for the food, what can I say, it's fantastic. With 6 children ranging in age from 12 to 18 it's hard to find something for everyone to eat. Not at Mavromatis. There is plenty of choice (even for the vegetarians amongst us) and the quality it superb. We can't recommend this place highly enough.

Mavromatis Restaurant offers a beautiful seaside setting with a charming atmosphere. The Greek salad, moussaka, tzatziki, and zucchini balls were all excellent. Friendly service, fair prices – a wonderful spot to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine by the sea.

Amazing! Once we found out about this Taverna we came back every day for either lunch or dinner. The food was just delicious and the staff is super friendly and very, very hard working. The moussaka, zuccini balls, mussel saganki and dorade fish of the day were super tastefull. Not to forget, the view on the beach terrace is stunning, beautifull sunset. Best restaurant on Kos for us! :)

Great location by the the sea on the beach. Friendly staff and very good service, food ok, and good sized portions. Mixed grill just lacking something flavor to give it a real wow. Would recommend though

Akrogiali Taverna offers an amazing dining experience with stunning beach views. The service was fantastic, with the staff providing excellent meal recommendations. I tried the semi-dried and grilled octopus for the first time, and it was delightful – a must-try for anyone who enjoys local cuisine. We also ordered a meat platter meant for four people, which was quite generous and could easily satisfy a group of adult males. The fresh salad was gorgeous and complemented the meal perfectly. While the Aperol was decent, it didn’t quite meet my usual standards. Overall, the location and atmosphere were incredible. I will definitely visit again to try their fish dishes.

We arrived quite late, and they kindly seated us quietly and gave us a warm welcome. We ordered grilled sea bream (fabulous) and seafood pasta, but unfortunately the latter wasn't excellent. The pasta had a strong aroma and flavor of curry and other spices that didn't pair well with the seafood. We pointed this out to the staff, who very kindly swapped our dish for another of our choice without any problem. When paying, the owner even offered us a small ice cream as a further apology-a small gesture that makes a big difference. Congratulations! Highly recommended!

Dropped in after a day at the beach. The views out to sea are worth coming for alone. Met by a lovely gent who showed us to a table and took our drinks order. Menu is typically Greek, plenty of choice including a wide choice of fish options. I had the swordfish, came with rice chips and salad. Very tasty and a healthy portion. Partner had stuffed vine leaves, again very healthy portions. 2 starters, 2 mains and 3 drinks came to €51. Great value for money especially for the scenery you get while dining. Highly recommended.

Grill mix for one turned into diarrhea for one. Obviously I would recommend you stay away from this place. The food is not clean.

Wonderful family run little place right on the beach front away from the main tourist area. My 2nd year now being a customer & look forward to coming back for a 3rd Wonderful Greek salads, stunning Halumi Salads, and most importantly wonderful draft beer (Mythos) Ran by lovely, friendly people it is just perfect for a lunchtime treat Can’t recommend this enough

The place place where we stayed was an ağartment flat with two bedrooms,two bathrooms, and a big living room with an American kitchen. The sea view was amazing. We spent a lot of time at the balcony, which was as big as a room. Every corner of the premises was very clean. Houskeeping was very good. The food was lovingly made, fulfilling, and reasonably priced. The staff were very professional. Don't expect a cheesy, artificial hospitality here, but you can be sure everything is done right. The tiny gym was enough for me to stay on track with my fitness regime. We enjoyed the wonderful beach just a few steps from the hotel. Very few places produce the childish sadness when it's time to leave. Triton was defntely one of them.

We are coming here every year, because it is so fantastic and kids friendly! The suite is more than spacious for a family of 4, the rooms are clean, the location is very nice, just opposite to the sea and 5 minutes walk from the centre. Not to forget to mention the breakfast with a big variety of foods and of course with a good quality. Special thanks to Errikos, George (the chef), Irini, Elli and of course to our favorite Kaity at the reception. See you next year!!

The staff are super friendly, especially Kaity she was very professional and extremely helpful. You can really count on her for anything. The rooms and the location are also great, especially if you have a bike or scooter. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
