We visited this place last year, but I remember one experience more vividly. In June, before the main season opened, I stopped by the restaurant to see if I could make an early dinner reservation, perhaps that evening, perhaps the next day. Yes, I'm well aware that reservations for such unique places need to be made in advance, unfortunately. We didn't have time, not even citing the fact that I wanted to show my loved ones the best local places and leave the warmest memories of the holiday in my heart, but rather that that person passed away, and I will no longer be able to give him such an opportunity for pleasant emotions anymore. The day I asked about this possibility, I didn't expect that we would be able to sit down in the restaurant, but what I didn't expect most was that after my answer, two waiters would laugh in my face! Once again, two waiters will laugh in my face when I asked about even the slightest chance of getting a table in the next two days! Now I have only one question: why do such places in the world exist, with a long history and respect for customers, to leave the best emotions in your life or so that you never come there again?! Anyway thank you for all...

Cozy restaurant with a breathtaking view over the bay. Menu has a good variety and they usually have fresh fish that you can choose yourself. Service was good but there is room for improvement. Overall, highly recommended!

Superb. We were a party of 14. All the food was excellent. I can highly recommend it from ambience, waiters and last but not least quality of food. Unbelievable great. Best food of the weekend in the area. Good lighting adding to ambience. TRY IT, you will not be disappointed.

One of the best restaurants and location in the Costa Brava. Great quality food and service, set by the water at St. Pol's beach. Next to beautiful Cami de Ronda and La Gavina Hotel. Parking, public blue zone usually available. Worth a trip for dinner and a walk by the coast.

I almost canceled my reservations after reading some of the reviews. I'm happy I didn't because our experience was exceptional. There were five adults and we all ordered different appetizers and entree's. WOW! La camarera was excellent. She helped us decided exactly what we wanted. The wine list was well represented. We shared a fish dish and paella. All off the charts . Make sure you (try) to leave room for the cheesecake; it's not what you would expect.

It was a wonderful lunch, great atmosphere and very tasty menu, I especially liked the shrimp carpaccio! Thank you for the wonderful service and very tasty food!!!

What an evening! Delicious food, with surprising dishes that were creative and perfectly balanced in flavor. The service was outstanding: warm, attentive, and clearly passionate. Excellent service. Yummy yummy. I had set lunch there. Amazing price over such quality. The set was 18.5, i had 2 glasses of house white wine, it cost only 30 euro. No need to say more. Very good place to reward your stomach after swim. 👍👍👍 very nice walking trail along the coast too .

I recently dined at Godard to give it a try, and my experience was rather disappointing. Despite the €35 menu (per person), the appetizers were just ok. Our table neighbours sent also the langoustines back too to the kitchen for poor cooking. The main dish, a black rice dish arrived half warm on one side and highly burned on the pan side. It was left to us to put it on the plate (self service?)When I raised the cooking issue, the waiter blamed us, attributing the cold rice to our slow eating. The dessert was excellent, but when I asked for coffee sugar, it came unusable in a pot half full of water. For an €85 lunch for two, attention to details is crucial. The staff's refusal to take responsibility and blaming the customer is not my understanding of good customer service. I would not recommend this restaurant first due to their attitude, the poor cooking standards and lack of attention to details. We tried but won’t come back. If they change attitude and if they double check what they send to the tables you might be pleased but we are done with it! And the interesting thing is that this restaurant never reacts to disappointing comments constructively… they don’t care… they seem not to be driven by improvement…

Great place to sample the local fish delicacies, made to feel very welcome, expensive place bit then you pay for what you get and it's well worth it. Loved the summer specials offer. My Monk fish was a little over done but apart from that it was a lovely evening to take my family

It turned out to be one of the most overpriced dining experiences we’ve ever had. The most concerning issue was that my friend was served fish that was completely undercooked. When we brought this to the staff's attention, they simply took the same piece back to the kitchen and re-cooked it, which was unacceptable for a high-end establishment. After the second attempt, the fish was still not properly cooked, and when we expressed our disappointment again, the management offered no resolution, not even a discount. The overall presentation of the dishes was very basic, lacking any visual appeal. Additionally, the staff was rude and inattentive; we had to pour wine from the bottle ourselves all the time and they struggled to answer our questions or make recommendations. In the end, we were left with a hefty bill and a spoiled evening. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

Very nice restaurant in a great location. The menu had lots of nice dishes on it and a very large selection of seafood with a choice of how you want things to be prepared. Very attentive and friendly staff. Good selection of wine and champagne. We ordered oysters, octopus, spider crab, sea snails and apple pie. Everything tasted amazing and food was presented very nicely with attention to detail. One of my favourite restaurants, will definitely return.

Really disappointing and horrible fish. We came for a Birthday lunch and chose the menu. The main course was monkfish and was awful served on a big bone with hardly any fish on it, greasy potatoes and no vegetables. So upsetting as we all chose the same, and they charged a supplement of 3 euros for each one. I complained and they made no gesture to improve our experience. A lovely location but a complete rip off! Eat tapas in the town, its a better experience with more love.

Racist and discriminatory! had an extremely upsetting and disappointing experience at this restaurant. My elderly grandmother, who has limited mobility, simply wanted to sit and pray quietly — in a corner inside the restaurant where no one else was around. We didn’t just assume it was okay — we asked respectfully, thinking that such a peaceful, personal act wouldn’t be an issue. To our shock, we were told that her silent prayer would “make people uncomfortable.” That statement was not only unreasonable — it was deeply offensive. How can someone praying in silence, in a completely empty space, be considered disruptive or disrespectful? We were also met with judgmental looks, and the staff member who spoke to us used a condescending, dismissive tone — as if we weren’t welcome there. The entire interaction felt racist and discriminatory, targeting us not for our behavior, but for who we were and what we represented. No one should be treated like this — especially not someone elderly and respectful, simply practicing their beliefs in peace. This experience left us hurt, disrespected, and completely unwelcome. I won’t be returning, and I encourage others to think carefully about supporting a business that tolerates this kind of behavior. Do better!

Discriminatory and disappointing. We visited this restaurant, and my elderly grandmother wanted to pray quietly in a corner where no one was around. The staff refused and said it would make other people uncomfortable — which is a ridiculous and offensive excuse. We were peaceful, respectful, and didn’t disturb anyone. Denying someone the ability to practice their religion like this is clearly discriminatory and disrespectful. We left feeling deeply disappointed and unwelcome. (I do not recommend this restaurant)

Very poor service. Food was terrible. The garlic wash burned. After we returned it was the same, will not recommend. We've send to food back and nobody even bother to check if we are OK. Zero attention to customer..Not god at all!!!

So the quality of the food is good. My problem is when you pay 33 euros for clams, you are 4 people, and they serve just 8 of them, even though they were meaty, it doesn't justify the price. The dishes were tasty (we ordered fish as seconds mainly), and the service was good and attentive

Beautifully presented seafood, well cooked and served quickly. We paid about £43 each for two courses but no wine. However the staff really, really need to smile at paying customers. I felt like I was an inconvenience to them every time I needed something. Go here for the food, not the service.

All together a fine place for lunch on Easter. Monday. Food was good/mediocre, considering the price. I found the scallops with bacon and walnuts bland, though the squid/artichoke was solid. Service was fine and the view (right on the sea) unbeatable.

Paella was awesome and in good price, but other dish prices were too high comparing to restaurants right next to this and as good as this one. Not so nice moment was that they brought bread by default (we didn’t order) and then charged 2,60 eur for it.

Prices was not clear. We did paid 54 eur for one shared plate Zarzuela with couple sad shrimps,even less.oysters lot of cheap fish and sauce. Not impressed.

Great sea food and fish dishes, one star less because of huge variations in the service. It can range from one night having the loveliest service, chatty, friendly and attentive to the next night, rather distant, no checks if everything is ok and forgetting half of the ordered drinks.

I rarely eat meat and we randomly stopped here because everywhere else was booked out. By far the best food we had in the 4 days we were in S’agaro. Avoid the beach restaurants. Overpriced and super average. Come here instead. Amazing service, very friendly staff and great price. We’ll definitely be back.

The most incredible experience ever! We don't speak any Spanish and the menus were on an ipad translated, which made ordering so easy. All the steaks on the menu can be seen in a fridge with a sign of the cut (showcasing the type, région & if they were imported). Everything is prepared in an open kitchen. The food, service and atmosphere is one of the best I've ever experienced - surpassing some of the Michelin restaurants I've ever been to. We ordered a set meal for 2 which included your choice of drink - we selected the house wine🍷, empanadas, grilled corn (so well cooked - grilled & brushed with butter) and a tbone steak. The steak came on a hot plate but we also got another sizzle plate to cook the meat to our liking. Do not skip out on dessert, according to my husband the tiramisu is the best he's ever had. The staff and the main cook made the experience unforgettable. Our table was right infront of the cooking area so we were able to watch everything being prepared and you can see how passionate he was preparing and plating the food!

Very good. Only little things to complain. For example the salad should be better and the bread could be better. The prices are very fair. Would always recommend, if you want to eat good beef.

Great quality foods and service i reduced points for athmosphere because half the place is a butchers and the smell of blood in the cafe side was inescapable they need either proper separation of the two sides or better ventilation... if they fixed that it would be a deserved 5 stars

Lots of places closed at the moment. Good food and service for reasonable prices. The shop is specialist in Ham and cheese.

Food was average, nothing special, we order a Fillet but after a while the waiter said they don’t have it. So we ordered an entrecot that had not much taste. They didn’t salt the food. One of the plates of seafood came cold. The service is really bad. Plating was ok. We asked 3 waiters for Allioi… they come and go and forget about what you asked. The bread was probably since 2 days old and hard. When we left the waiter didn’t even answer to my Goodbye. The staff looks like bored and not friendly. Location great, but service terrible.

Incredibly rude staff. Took ages to serve me, all I wanted was an ice-cream which was marked on the board 4€, gave him 10€, took ages to give me my change back, then slapped it on the counter , 5€ all shriveled up! I called his attention as the change was wrong, he owed me and he said the price on the board was incorrect. Unbelievable, rubbish costumer service. Don't bother going here !

Loved this beach bar. It opens early, so it’s a perfect stop for a (refreshing) drink after a morning run.

The food is over priced although the service was efficient. The calamar a la andaluza was entirely tasteless (€18!). The huevos con patatas was 2 fried eggs and a few chips (€10). New low for Spanish beach food.

Impertinent staff, mediocre food, over-priced. They only allow 90 minutes per sitting and they are notoriously slow . They refused to serve us cava at the end because we were over 90 minutes. The manageress was impertinent, unprofessional and rude. Don’t waste your money here

Terrible service. I had come from swimming at the beach in a swimsuit, to the chiringuito to talk to my aunt who was sitting alone at a table, and within 2 minutes, two separate waiters rushed over to me and rudely remarked that I needed to wear more clothes. No swimsuits allowed at the beach?? Maybe I should go fully clothed at a Michelin restaurant, but at a beach bar? Also, when we asked to pay, they gave us the “talk-to-the-hand” move and left us waiting for 15 minutes. I was also screamed at, no exaggeration, for accidentally using the handicapped bathroom as a “healthy person”. Beautiful beach, bad restaurant.

Sushi was OK, but portions are really small. I ordered a bowl (don't remember the name) and was incredible small and basic (anyone could do it) for 11€. It did not help the slow service (more than 1h for 4 plates)... Expensive for what you get, better options nearby.

One of the best sushis I have tried so far. The quality of their products is outstanding and the service is great. All sushis are super tasty and have very well balanced flavours. From now it will be my go-to sushi place!

Coming from a person which had sushi countless time from all over the world. The chef here had no professional training and should not be working in the kitchen, have no idea what to put into rolls. Gave us the worst cut of fish which should not be eaten. Takes an hour and a half to make 6 nigiris. Sushi lovers stay away, you are warned :)

Disappointed in this restaurant. The sushi rice was plain (not enough vinegar), surprising for a Japanese place. And portions were small, it would have been quite expensive to eat 2-3 dishes per person until full.

It was a day spent in Costa Brava with my boyfriend and we had stopped here for a littlw snack before goinf back to Bcn. Located in a lively location the place gives you the perfect summer vibe. There is a pool table and other activities. The service was a tad slow though but overall it was great

I had a decent time here, but it wasn’t anything special. The place has a nice look—clean, stylish, and comfortable for a casual meal. The staff was polite, though they weren’t always quick to respond. The menu offered a good variety, which I appreciated, but the food itself was hit or miss. My entree was okay but lacked the bold flavors I was hoping for. My partner’s dish was better but still not memorable. The drinks were a highlight, and the dessert was solid. Prices felt fair, but I expected a bit more for what we got. It’s a fine spot if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

We had a lovely lunch with several tapas. Food is delicious, especially the timbal de salmon with nachos! The host is superfriendly. The menu del dia with parlla looked great too, we will come back for that!

Shirley, Mar, and the entire team did, once again, such a nice and friendly job. The cuisine is fresh and innovative, I had the Paella (seco!) which was delicious. So nice to come back here!

Casa Teva was a great discovery. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a smile, which always makes a difference. As a welcome detail, they offered us a delicious amuse-bouche that we really enjoyed. We shared the tuna brioche, which was excellent and very well prepared. Then my husband had the dry rice with prawns, and I ordered the tuna ceviche. Both dishes were very tasty, though the ceviche had only a few small pieces of tuna — it felt more like a starter than a main course. Regarding the rice, the menu photo shows four prawns, but my husband received only two, which was a bit surprising. We also did the olive oil tasting, which includes bread, but it’s important to note that the menu clearly states there’s an additional charge of €4 per person for the bread and petits fours. It would be helpful if this were mentioned again when ordering, especially if bread is already included in another option. The wine selection was good, with interesting and well-presented choices. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with attentive service and well-executed dishes, though a few small details could be improved to fully match the level the restaurant aims to offer

An Unforgettable Evening at Casa Teva ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stumbled upon Casa Teva almost by chance. It was closed yesterday, and today we had planned to go somewhere else — but that restaurant happened to be closed, so we ended up here. And honestly, it felt like fate. From the very first moment, everything impressed us. When I called to make a reservation, the person who answered spoke perfect English — something quite rare around here — and kindly informed us that only indoor tables were available as the terrace was fully booked. We agreed without hesitation, and we’re so glad we did. Walking in, we immediately felt that Casa Teva is not just about serving food or presenting a big check — it’s about creating an experience to fall in love with. This is a place where people care deeply about every detail, where they want you to savor the evening and leave with unforgettable memories. We weren’t very hungry, so we started with the tomatoes and tuna — the most flavorful, perfectly ripe tomatoes I’ve ever had in my life. We then tried the olive oil tasting, which was delightful, and for the main course, we shared a sea bass. And let me tell you: it was the best sea bass I’ve ever tasted. Perfectly cooked, delicately seasoned, and simply extraordinary. As a wonderful surprise, we were offered a complimentary gazpacho paired with a brioche and truffle — an elegant touch that made us smile. For dessert, we ordered the cheesecake. Just last week in Bilbao, we thought we had discovered the best cheesecake ever… but Casa Teva’s version surpassed it. Silky, delicate, and absolutely divine. To everyone at Casa Teva: thank you for this incredible evening. The atmosphere, the service, the cuisine, the wine list — everything was exceptional. You made us feel truly special, and this dinner felt like a celebration. We will cherish this experience and can’t wait to return.

2024: 2 years after our first time and the level of food is higher and trust me it was already at very high level. I can say that they easily deserve one star of michelin's guide. We had dîners in many place over the world, you can check my profile if you want. This one is the simply one of the best I had the pleasure to eat. 2022: Just perfect, one of the best and price correct.

A very nice restaurant for a delicious meal, either for lunch or dinner. We have been here beforhave always left happy. This time we had a stater of shrimp ceviche, then fish (rascasse/scorpion fish) and veal fillet w/ foie gras, followed by chocolate coulant and crème brûlée for deserts. All very tasty and well cooked. Highly recommended!

Without doubt the best restaurant in the neighbourhood, (i can only speak for the off season). Came back multiple times (after trying the other options), had really good Paella (marisca) sangria, and also the beef is very good. Friendly personell and a great location. I certainly recommend this restaurant if you are in this region and are looking for a place to eat.

We only had a beer. I was looking for something beyond Estrella or Heineken, but didn't find it here. Staff was helpful though! Sea view from the terrace.

What a difference a day makes! Or 2 weeks. When we visited on July the food was better, service friendlier. August the price goes up, quality goes down. Very large and varied choice on set menu, something for everyone. However, avoid in August. I understand the height of season changes circumstances but this felt like profiteering and poor value. I hope September see's a return to better.

Great food, fast service and amazing views

We came to celebrate first birthday of our son. The choice was made based on pizza we observed a few weeks in a row. According to my taste pizza was ok, but nothing special, but my husband liked it a lot, because it was crispy. Our son looked quite happy with pizza as well. So, this is just matter of taste. Very important moment with babies who can not wait (one year old boy can not for sure) was speed of service. We got our food less than in 10 minutes after ordering. Can not be good for romantic dating, but for us it was ideal. Pasta (we took “Ravioli with Bolognese”) was just great. Strongly recommend. Taste was very good. Child was happy as well. We also did order the salad (“Buratta” with tomato). It would be out of question if cherries would not be rotten (spoiled and souring). We did share the salad and all 3 adults come to the same conclusion. We did share with waiter, she invited the manager of the restaurant, but nothing came after that: nobody came with feedback, the salad was fully included in invoice, no coffee/desserts were offered complimentary. About coffee/deserts etc. In general service is good: table was served and cleaned fast, but it is serious lack of attention and love. We had a birthday crone of the baby you hardly can skip in Spain, even if you are talented. But we did not have any expectations about that, just spoiled with general lovely attitude to the babies everywhere here. But no wines, coffee etc. were offered after food - this is quite strange. We had a feeling we are just tourist once comes - once go.

I really wanted to like this place. The waitstaff were so kind and everything came out quick. The food is as so boring though. We got the burrata salad, the. I got the genovese pizza and my husband got a calzone. The burrata salad was so boring, and so uninspired. My pizza was so bland. There was nothing particularly wrong with anything but the crust was bland, the sauce was bland, the cheese was bland, the toppings were bland. This was by no way fault of the chef, everything was perfectly presented and cooked, but by god they need to upgrade the quality of the ingredients. If the sauce had more flavor, or the cheese tasted like something then it would have been lovely. But as of right now, there is a lot of room for improvement. Get the chef some quality ingredients!! Unless they retouch their menu, I’d give this place a miss.

We made a reservation for 19:30 to sit outside but our table was given to some instragam guys for a photoshoot and we had to wait till 20:00 before we could sit at our table. So we left.

Ate here twice in the last weeks and have to say it is good value for money. The dishes were served fast and the taste was good. Location is nice too. I ate pasta ( see photo ) al salmone, which was very nice and pizza. The pizza tasted great but it was not made up very nice. Also it would be nice if they spoke at least some English and offered an English menu. I would give 4.5 stars but Google doesn't allow it.

Overall very good! Carbonara was too salty for me but the putenesca spaghetti was delicious and my partner enjoyed his pizza although it was a little burned on one side. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place!

We were searching for a good tapas place and then found this beautiful restaurant. Really good food in fair portions. Especially the Pulpo and the Ceviche I can highly recommend. The staff was very friendly and the service was good too. We had our food in no time. We will definitely come back again!

After dining here I lost faith in s'agaro culinary culture but this was restored after visiting most of the other restaurants. I would avoid. (In response to owners comment I was here at the start of September and after viewing the restaurant on maps this is definitely the place I dined at)

Place to avoid. Waiters they only speak russian or english ( excuse me.. but are we in S 'Agaró or in Manchester ??? ). Bad service and prices with nonsense ..We asked for a the boss and everybody dessapeared...We complain about the bill and they talk to us like we were a bunch of niggards with no money.. Terrible experience Absolutely disgusting. The waiter who seemed in charge of the young waiters was very rude to me. I returned my patatas bravas as they were cold. The waitress took them off me without apologising (I speak good Spanish). The one in charge (a south American or someone from that area) brought them back and asked if I wanted to order more food (apart from 2 rounds of drinks for 4 people). I said no, and he replied joder (which means fffing hell). Then, there was a big argument in the kitchen (right next to us) with the cook or somebody else, screaming at his staff. When I went in, I saw a poor waitress crying, and all the rest of the staff were upset or muttering things under their breath when they were coming out to serve. It was a disgraceful scene, and my family and I felt very sad for the young workers there. I would definitely not recommend this place to anybody, absolutely disgraceful!!!

We totally loved this place so we visited twice. The pasta is done perfectly, very flavorful. The pizza crust was a little too soft for me, but the veggie pizza was do good. We had the gnocchi, salmon penne pasta, mushroom and walnut pasta, spinach ravioli, and goat cheese walnut pear salad. They are very generous with the salad toppings.

A gorgeous Italian restaurant right in the heart of S’Agaró. The staff were friendly; the restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. I had the best Aperol Spritz i’ve ever had at Luna Ross.
