Guys, let me tell you this. As an Argentinian living in Spain I had to come to Calella, excellent beaches and people, but this “bife de lomo al punto” had the most excellent taste of all. It reminds me to my home. Try this plate and don’t forget to ask for Argentinian wine either bottle of glass. You will have a part of my place, music is excellent, and service marvelous.

If you go anywhere near here make sure you eat here. I’ve had many steaks and this was very fine! Probably the best ribeye I’ve ever had, absolutely spot on.

This is my favourite ice cream spot! The staff is so friendly, speaks english and recognizes us each time we come back. They have a variety of ice cream flavors, also for those who have gluten and lactose allergies. The ones which are gluten and lactose free are still creamy in texture❤️ I highly recommend "Lemon and Basil"!

If you're staying at the Kaktus Hotel Volga in Calella, you simply must visit their sister establishment, NUI Beachfront for dinner. Our recent experience there was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, Alex and Juan took exceptional care of us with their attentive service. We started with absolutely gorgeous mussels, then moved on to equally delightful main courses: one perfectly cooked monkfish and three orders of succulent spare ribs. The entire meal, including wine, came to approximately €40 per person, making it incredible value for such high quality. We cannot recommend NUI Beachfront enough!

We visited here as our first meal of the Holliday. While it wasn’t bad, there are definitely other places that I would recommend more. It started off very well with a lovely jug of sangria sat outside in the sun and the staff were all very lovely and inviting. We then had fried calamari which were nice, however I had one full of sand which completely put me off and chicken croquettes which were much better. They had a beautiful flavour and were crispy on the outside. We then ordered Patatas Bravas, Beef Ribs and Whitebait. The Bravas were lovely and crispy, however, due to my partner feeling ill (nothing to do with our restaurant experience) the Whitebait was not tried. I did however try the beef ribs, something I have never had before. While the flavour was lovely and the portion size was good, I did find them very chewy and not very pleasant. This being said I have never tried beef ribs before so maybe this is how they are supposed to be. As I say we may have just not had the best experience as every time we walk past it always seems very busy with both locals and tourists.

Dined here on our first day visiting Calella. Not the most friendly service I've ever had. The food was ok to be fair. Came back a second time and we just sat there with our invisible man suits on for ages. The waiters couldn't be bothered to come over so we left and went down the road to another restaurant and was served straight away.

I’ve been spending my holidays in Spain for four years now and have tried many restaurants, but the best service, presentation, and cuisine can only be found at Casa Carlos. Everything here is impeccable: the atmosphere, the attentive staff, and the delicious dishes. And Pepe’s signature cheesecake… once you try it, you definitely won’t stop at just one slice! The cava and oysters were very good, but the rest of the experience was disappointing. We told the waitress we liked fish so we got the salmon cubes with pesto; mine contained many bones. When the waitress saw my face and asked what was wrong I mentioned the food did not meet my expectations. I told her more than once, but nothing was done. Only at the very end, after repeating myself a third time, the waitress gave a “sorry” and said she had never seen a guest so disappointed, but no real solution or compensation was offered. The main dish also did not match our expectations: it was presented as a simple sandwich rather than the more refined plate we imagined. All food was served so quickly that we finished dinner within half an hour, while we had hoped for a relaxed evening. Overall, a disappointing experience, despite a promising start. It can be that our expectations were too high and I totally leave that with us. We could have done more research beforehand. However, in my opinion, you never let an unhappy customer leave. They could at least have tried something.

I’m not a big fan of Calella, but if you are there, you must experience this absolute gem of a bodega. Exquisite food, wine, atmosphere, and service, and attention to details such as making sure the elegant glassware is always clean and sparkly. Ask the servers for their recommendations. I did so, and they recommended the coca with iberian ham, a kind of cheese I can’t remember, mushrooms, truffles, and pine nuts. The ingredients were of the best quality, the portions were huge, and it tasted like 1000 years of European civilization. So many wonderful flavors interacting in a new way, it was an unforgettable experience. I followed their recommendation of red wine by the glass, which on that day was a tasty and balanced Ribera del Duero, absolutely delicious. I finished with the homemade chocolate truffles with salt and olive oil, the ideal dessert to finish such a meal. The vibe was warm, social, even neighborly; I saw many of the patrons who had to be either locals, or if not, repeat visitors, chatting with the skilled and knowledgable servers, addressing them by name as if they have known each other forever. This is the perfect place to go if you want to escape the bad-quality, mass-produced food and dysfunctional organization that abounds in this world, and have a rewarding experience as a fly on the wall at a genuine, impeccably-functioning Calella institution. I can’t wait to come back again!

This place is amazing. It is a nice small restaurant in a side street of the, very touristic, commercial street. If you don't know it's there you would walk past it easily. A lot of locals eat here and I know why. The staff is very committed and runs like crazy to help everyone in time. And you can see that they love their job. The owner seems to know every one. Then there is the food. There a quite a couple dishes to choose from. All of them sounded delicious but we chose the capa with Duck ham, grilled pepper, confit onions and capers and the one with ham and brie. Both of them were great, but the one with the duck was out of this world. You really need to taste this when you are there. Also the desserts were nice. The fried bread with cinnamon ice cream was the best and the home made chocolate truffles with salt and olive oil was, surprisingly, a great combination. If I ever return to Calella I definitely come back. If you go there don't forget to leave a great tip since the staff is amazing.

My boyfriend and our son visited twice during our trip to Calella. The food was lovely, there are choices for little ones my 4 year old got the breaded chicken (like nuggets) he ate them all! Which is unusual. The service was fantastic, our lovely lady waitress went above and beyond. Really welcoming and friendly.

Location is next to the church. We ate outside and there was a lot of foot traffic in front of us. If you like people watching it’s a great location. The pizzas were good thin crust pizzas. The service was friendly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time given that the restaurant was full. I will defiantly go back.

Waited over 1 hour for 2 pizzas to arrive, when they eventually turned up I would only describe them as being average, I've definitely had better freshly prepared ones in the past, they were overly greasy and lacked flavour. Also I was told that there was no indoor seating only to see preference being given to Spanish customers walking in off the street and it was clear that they had not pre-booked any tables. The toilet is not kept clean and there were no hand towels to dry your hands. Overall a poor experience, try elsewhere.

Slightly better service this time but still very slow and rude, slamming items on table, like they didn't want us there. Got to say people on other tables who could speak Spanish certainly got better service.

Nice place to eat with Dutch and Spanish staff. Have a simple but good menu with quality dishes. Not easy to find because it's located behind the main shopping street. Once seated we were given menus and they gave us a few minutes to choose our drinks and food. The service was great. We were asked how we like our burgers cooked - rare, medium etc and when we got them they were cooked to perfection. The burger itself was so juicy but not greasy. We had the cheddar volcano and when our waitress brought over plastic gloves and a face wipe, I got a little confused. A lovely little gem of a restaurant! We ate here a couple of times during our holiday and it was great! The burgers were amazing and the steaks very tasty, but the chips were fantastic! The staff were very friendly and one particular young guy (who may have been the manager) was fabulous he was very good at his job and worked very hard. Anyways, as I listen to men at work through their stereo, I think I have nothing additional needed to say about it, very cozy. What an incredible dining experience! Luna Gaucha offers an authentic and flavorful journey through Uruguayan cuisine, and every dish we tried was outstanding. We started with the Ensalada Nimo, which was fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced – a refreshing way to begin the meal. The parrillada was the star of the show. Filled with beautifully grilled meats, full of smoky flavor and cooked to perfection. Every bite was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. To finish, we shared the tarta de dulce de leche, and it was nothing short of heavenly. Rich, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet. The atmosphere at Luna Gaucha is warm and welcoming, with a unique and thoughtfully designed décor that reflects both tradition and personality. It’s a family-run restaurant, and you can feel the love in every detail. The owner is extremely kind and humble, and it’s clear he puts his heart and soul into every aspect of the experience. I really did not like the food here at all I opted the paella the seafood all tasted old with a strange flavour the rice was hard and sauce was dreadful, my partner played it safer and really enjoyed his pizza the staff are friendly and the location is nice to sit and people watch.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. I visited this restaurant while on holiday last month and had a truly awful — and dangerous — experience. After ordering a chicken dish, I was served severely undercooked chicken, which I have clear photos of. When I raised this with the staff, they dismissively claimed it “just needed a few more minutes in the fryer” and proceeded to try take the plate off me when they noticed I was taking pictures. Raw poultry is a serious health hazard, not something you can just pop back in and call it a day. Unfortunately, after eating a portion before noticing how undercooked it was, I became violently ill within 1 hour and ended up hospitalised with severe food poisoning. This completely derailed my trip, cost me a significant amount in medical bills, and left me physically unwell for weeks. The staff were unhelpful and dismissive, showing no real concern for the seriousness of the issue. No apology, no accountability. I highly recommend others avoid this restaurant at all costs. Health and safety standards appear to be severely lacking, and customer well-being is clearly not a priority.

Here for the Ironman we had 2 lunches which were excellent. Staff were very busy but very professional and welcoming. Top drawer! Salud x

We came here for some lunchtime drinks overlooking the beach. While some staff do not speak very good English, the majority of them are very polite. It is a lovely atmosphere and is very popular amongst tourists due to it being on the beech. You can also take drinks (not food) onto the beach with you if you so please. I ordered a vodka lemonade which is served to you at the table where they pour the vodka and lemonade in front of you (a very large “single” measure). Overall, while the drinks are on the more expensive side, it is a lovely experience being on the beach. The Please note that it gets extremely busy at peak times and you will need to book a table! We have since been back and have been impressed by the food. The seabass we ordered was cooked to perfection and the Patatas Bravas were beautiful and crispy with a very intense flavour. However the staff were very unengaged and sometimes rude (rolling their eyes at other customers). Maybe they were just having a bad day. Food however I would highly recommend.

Food is amazing. Fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection, especially the hand cooked chips absolutely amazing, would absolutely recommend the club sandwich or chicken burger. The service is top class, special shout out to Demi who was our waiteress every time my wife and I went for lunch on the beach. The cocktails are so tasty and refreshing, so much so I found my new drink a strawberry mojito, my wife drink was a love on the beach would recommend both drinks to everyone. Definitely be back if/when we return to Callela

White sangria and black paella were delicious, but the true gem was our waitress Susanna from Poland. Sweetheart made our evening really pleasant and warm, thank you.

Great food, the spareribs were amazing, the meat fell right off the bone. No reservation and it was very busy but they fit us right in. Very friendly staff and the cocktails were also great.

Stopped here while waiting for our son to complete the second half of the cycle ride in the Ironman. There were 12 of us and the staff coped really well with our food and drink orders despite being incredibly busy. The food was tasty although pretty simple (although my wife had a grilled whole sea bass which she said was phenomenal) and very reasonable, but was delivered quickly and with a friendly smile. Bravo!!

The food is amazing! ❤️❤️ The service is something they can work on. Since my vacation in Spain I know the people aren't the happiest people while they work but here it was really heavy. They look they aren't enjoying it, one of the man who was taking orders from people really looked like he wasn't having it today. When they clean the tables from things they bumbed many times against my man. They didn't ask if they could get the things they just shoved themselves between the people, bumb against them without saying anything. It's not really Customer-friendly.

The food was disappointing and didn’t resemble authentic Indian cuisine. The chana masala, for instance, tasted more like it was made with salsa sauce—it was unusually red, which I've never seen before. If the intention was to cater to local tastes, it seems to have completely lost its Indian essence.

When I asked for a menu, it was thrown onto the counter rudely, I ordered chicken tikka Biryani €9.95 and a cheese naan €2.75, to take away, it wasn't Biryani, what I actually received was old vegetable rice with about 4 spoon fulls of chicken tikka, no flavour and not good quality, and a tiny portion, the "cheese Naan ", was a plain Naan with about half a slice of Cheddar cheese spread around, the worst Indian restaurant I have ever seen, overall, avoid this place, go elsewhere.

Came in during the Iron Man event and was very impressed with the quality of food, service and the look of the restaurant. Next time I am in the area I will be back. Speak excellent English when your Spanish is rusty like mine.

We came to this restaurant two nights in a row. The first night, it was very crowded with a long line at the entrance. I asked someone waiting in line if we needed to stay in the queue or make a reservation, and they said we should just wait. A few minutes later, I realized people had actually put their names on a waiting list either by phone or in person. Since we were tired, we decided to eat somewhere else that night. But the delicious smell of the chicken being roasted over wood fire stayed with us, so we came back earlier the next evening. The staff were extremely polite and friendly. Like many others, we ordered the roast chicken with toast brushed with tomato sauce, and white wine. The chicken, simply marinated with just salt and black pepper (I think), tasted absolutely amazing. Honestly, I couldn’t get enough of it! Next time we visit Calella, we’ll definitely be coming back to this restaurant.

Tuesday night at La Roda, it was busy but not that bad. We had a little wait but only 5 minutes. All the seats are wooden benches and the table are the same. La Ronda has a wonderful atmosphere all the walls are lined with pictures and signatures of people past. We asked the waiter for his recommendation and of course he said chicken for main course and salad for starters. The chicken is cooked on open fire and you have never tasted anything like it before. The atmosphere is amazing and so is the food you will definitely enjoy yourself here I can thoroughly recommend La Roda.

The restaurant was chosen based on the Google reviews from other guests. Very interesting interior inside the restaurant but very basic tables outside just in the middle of the street. On the recommendation of the waiter, we ordered chicken and mussels. This is the restaurant's signature dish. House wine was not bad. There were no french fries on the menu, so we were allowed to buy fries from a nearby restaurant and eat with the rest of the meal.

Excellent establishment. I was by myself. I speak no Spanish. The waiter was very helpful. I followed his recommendation and everything was great. Very good atmosphere. I liked how they went out of their way to accommodate a lone diner.

Absolute heaven on a plate. Rustic, charming, and buzzing with life. The staff are hilarious, friendly, and their recommendations were spot on. Complimentary bread with tomato and olive oil was insanely good. Chicken was moist, beautifully seasoned and coming off the bone, served impressively fast even though the place was packed. Fresh salads, sangria, delicious olive oil, complimentary ice cream bites, and lollies for the kids. Pure joy from start to finish.

My Lord, what an amazing restaurant. The food here is absolutely amazing. So flavourful, so good. The cocktails are on another level. I have never had such great cocktails for such a great price. The staff is also on another level. Super friendly. So helpful. English speaking. We went back a day later for drinks (cocktails) only and they immediately recognised us upon arrival, shook our hands and asked if we wanted to same table again.

An ideal family run restaurant with an excellent choice of menu to suit all tastes from a Hamburger to a paella. We visited 4 times over our 10 day stay in Calella. They are happy to cater for individual preferences and adapt the food to suit the customer.

Such a lovely restaurant, probably the best in Calella I've experienced so far! The service is amazing and the cocktails are unreal. The food is so good too! Our waiter even convinced us to get their chicken nachos for starters and they were so tasty. Couldn't recommend it enough. They very accommodating.

Been here a few times now on my holidays and absolutely love it. There tends to be a slightly longer wait for food than other restaurants. But my god the food is absolutely amazing and cooked fresh. Would recommend to anyone visiting Calella.

We have been here numerous times over the last 3 years, the food is always quality and the staff are always friendly...lunch or dinner there is something for every mood and the Sangria Vino is one of the best in the town...the eating area at the back is perfect both on cold days and also when it's very hot there is a water wall that keeps it fresh and the roof retracts for that out door eating experience. Can not compliment this place enough they always make you feel welcome

Service was phenomenal. As tourists, we found this place through online search and references in the Michelin guide. We have never experienced seafood life this. It’s fresh, as they roll out the market catch on a cart. Some truly unique experience. It’s a traditional experience as the cooking is done in the kitchen but they plate and display on a cart next to your table. They spoke English which is impressive when discussing the detailed differences between the seafood and the cooking methods. Further, the price is reasonable. Would come here again! Would recommend trying to book / reserve a table via WhatsApp.

We had such an outstanding experience here that we ended up dining here two nights in a row. The seafood was unbelievably fresh and prepared with such care and expertise that every dish truly stood out. The pink prawn carpaccio was delicate and flavorful, the wild turbot was cooked to perfection, and the steak tartare prepared table-side was a real highlight. Service matched the food — our waiter Andrew was exceptionally knowledgeable, especially when it came to recommending local wines that paired beautifully with each course. The whole experience felt thoughtful, authentic, and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy Galician cuisine at its best!

I couldn't speak more highly of this restaurant and I'm so glad we found it. The food here is so fresh, so tasty. The service was excellent and they made a real effort with us. We ate quite a lot here and I recommend all of the following items: oysters, anchovies, octopus, seafood soup, monkfish stew (main) and the monkfish fillet (main). I saw a lot of the other dishes that other customers are and it all looked great. We had a Monsant wine here also which really complimented the food. This restaurant is an absolute must if you are in the region. Couldn't speak higher of the quality of the food and service. Recommended.

This place is a gem … thankfully off the tourist track as it is rather high-end and Michelin watched. It is the best seafood place you can find in that region. And we agree. You need to book well ahead as the few tables are snitched fast by predominantly locals and Spanish guests. The superb classic service comes with white table linen, immaculate spice by the table, best-in-Class fish service and meets just the best produce you find. We had a great selection - on the house olives and minced Pulpo, followed by couple of glades cava, the famous Polpo a la Gallega - so soft and fresh never seen before. The Pulperia in Barcelona is already great but this was from heaven …. We then had Tuna Tartare, monkfish grilled and fried calamari to end with a great almond cake and liquor …. Expect for that around 130€ and the need to book a table in advance. They are closed Sunday evening and Monday.

The personel took time to explain to us the history of the resto, recommendations, show us 3 beautiful fish ( don’t hesitate to ask the price to compare to the menu ) . We finally order the st pierre , the cuisine was not “whao” but the quality of the ingredients were there. The cava wines with the foods were all excellent choices. They respond to all our questions and demands beautifully. Thank u a lot to the waiter we ‘ve had (who usually the sommelier, mr Andreas) !

Very bad food and the chicken tikka was so dry. The cheese naan had very less cheese, it’s a shame. Don’t call yourself Indian restaurant if you are serving that chicken tikka. Spanish people, please don’t visit here, this is not authentic Indian food. The naan was so dry and bad. Since I am not able to reply to the comment, I will just edit this one, I stand by my words, the food was pathetic, I am an Indian so I know that, if you are serving this Indian food to Spaniards, shame on you. Less spicy for them is fine but dry chicken, So bad, I am chef, I can tell when a meat is badly cooked. The naan was so bad, no way near to the naan we get in India. Won’t suggest anyone your food now, not even animals..

Great tasting original Indian cuisine

I have to say, this place has really surprised me. In the middle of the Spanish tourist coastal resort Calella we found this genuinely authentic tasty indian punjabi restaurant. Amazing service and food. They catered for our taste including my 2 fussy 7 year old boys who loved the chicken tikka. The naan was proper indian layered butter naan. We asked for hot Chicken tikka masala and thats exactly what we got not the sweet coconut curry we usually get. The Daal Makhani was one of the best Iv had outside India and better than most restaurants in UK. Oh and the drink measures are extremely generous I was expecting a heavy bill but we walked away pleasantly surprised at just €51 for 2 adults and 2 children.

They were closing kitchen but we called and they were ready to serve. They were so polite and good at service this gesture made my day. It is rarely seen even at indian restaurant. The food taste was also delicious and customised spicy taste. We ordered palak paneer and chole both were damn tasty. Best restaurant in calella as we have tried all indian restaurants this is without doubt the best.

Mussels were great, chicken was also good. But paella was a disaster. Oversalted, too much water in it, too little taste. Kitchen has no ventilation so the smell of a grill will accompany your dinner. I would say this is a cafe, not a restaurant. People are great and welcoming, therefore 3 stars. But will never return or recommend.

The most tasty mussels.

Compared to the other places in calella, the waiters here are likely to have a conversation with you. Where I feel like in other restaurants, I'm calella they are just busy with making money. Shout out to Yore (waiter). The guy is super polite and helped me recommend some things to do in Barcelona, even though it was busy.

I’m with my boyfriend on vacation for a week and we ate dinner here three times. The first time we had gamba’s and pasta bolognese, those two were very delicious! The gnocchi with pesto was very salty and overall not that tasty. The second time we had gamba’s, salad caprese (very good, just a lot of tomato compared with the amount of mozzarella), pizza bread (very good but very salty) and the pizza pesto was also very good. The last day we had a delicious pizza margherita, but the chicken schnitzel was tasteless chicken and it was a very soft piece of chicken instead of crispy The service was okay, but they don’t speak English very well so a few things went wrong but that’s understandable. I would recommend coming here but there are just a few points of improvement necessary to make it worth the price, since it’s not really on the cheap side

Superb and lovely meal from this amazing establishment. The staff member Alejandro and his other staff were amazing when we came for the perfect pizza and also spaghetti between our group. Polite with such lovely manners I’d recommend anyone to have a meal if your in for a stay in Calella

Great service and fast quality food. Reasonably priced and in a great location in the heart of town where you can sit al fresco and watch the evening tussle and bustle in the warm heat. Decor and seating arrangements worked well too. The pasta was cooked to perfection highly reccomend. Had to deduct one star due to poor toilet facilities that require more attention.

The paella was fabulous !!! The pizza was good but could have a little more tomato sauce to our opinion. The male waiter was very friendly. The female waiter was not friendly at all. A smile is free 😉.

Very very nice place in Calella. I tried many places and this is my favorite. No1 choice. Amazing pizza, simply perfect, grilled steak tastes super and was smooth like a butter, also ribs was delicious. Prices are excellent for the quality you receive. And the most important very nice and happy people.!

Great food, not too busy and quick service. I recommend to park on the beach near by and just cross the street because you are not going to be able to park right next to it or closer than the beach. The pizza was huuuge and had such a different dough that I never tasted before, the crust was very thin but sturdy and very crunchy at the same time and the base with their choice of cheese was also very tasty, definitely ones of the best pizzas I've ever had . We also had the chicken wings for appetiser which were one of the best ones I ever had. Definitely recommend 👌

Great pizza for great value. The in-house made gluten free pizza bottom was really good. Not some ready made schär like bottom you see in other places. Staff is also really nice and the backyard outside seating are has a really great vibe to it.

We sat outside and it was very cozy. The food came quickly so it probably is all prepared beforehand and didn’t have much flavor. There are a lot of waiters so everything goes quickly.

Very thin pizza and big sizes. The pizza is very tasty, but as the restaurant gets crowded at night it requires some waiting for it. The menu provides a lot of options for pizza. The garden is big and calm.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Our first time to an Iberian Steakhouse and El Cielo set the bar high. Alicia was our server. She was helpful and attentive. If ever in Calella, make the reservation in advance - it’s worth the trip!

They offer a nice variety of jamón, fresh meats, aged cuts, olives, and cheeses, along with some selection of wines. We especially enjoy their steak.

What a great place for meat lovers! We were skeptical at first as they are in the middle of the tourist strip … but what a great quality! We had the classical high-end acorn-fed iberico ham followed by a massive T-Bone steak (Charra de Salamanca) which boosted with all the flavors you ask for. Along a great Rioja by the glass that was full-bodied and balanced and to close … a chocolate tartlets with vanilla ice cream That sets you back 145€ for two - but worthwhile ! Enjoy

Nice place located in the highstreet. Amazing coffee. Amazing food. The waiter struck us as a bit uninterested and he tried to clean the window next to us while we were eating in a very clumsy manner. Would definitely recommend going here and we will certainly get back here.

My wife and I are there last night 16th Sept 2025. Our server was Manuel, absolute Gent! 💙 Gave some good wine recommendations and was happy to actually stand and answer some questions despite being ran off his feet We got the 1.2Kg tomahawk steak with veg, and a starter. Obviously our eyes were bigger than our bellies 😂 as we had to get leftovers for takeaway. The food was amazing 😍 The price was incredible 🤟 we would have paid a lot more for this in Ireland for 2 people. As mentioned earlier with the 5⭐ service, it really was and I hope I've spelled his name correctly, thank you again for having us. This is the only restaurant I've reviewed in the area as I will only review if I deem a place worthy (good or bad) and you can judge from other reviews that this place is exceptional! I will be telling anyone I know who visits to come here. Thank you again! The whole experience, shared starter, 1.2 kg tomahawk steak 2 glasses of wine, Havana 7 & coke zero was less than €130 (not including tip). 💙

Love to come here for years. But don't expect service. Nice staff. No pepole wetting for a drink more for 15 minutes. Manager newer do nothing. Spiking in tlf or drinking coffee, always when I come there. Every day. West of money that man.

We eat on the terrace the fish recommendation. Portion with extra fries was good. Bier and wine were also excellent. The server could speak German and English. Food was quickly prepared and delicious. Will return there. Terrace could maybe be a bit more decorated, but it definitely was not a big deal. Thanks for the nice dinner.

Looking for Paella in Calella? Look no further. This place has the chiringuito vibe being beach side and offers good service with playing of the paella too. The seafood was of great quality and I also recommend trying the Bunyols de Bacallà if they have it available (cod fish balls), which are super crispy on the outside and a nice fluffy and bouncy texture inside.

Was our “to go’ spot before and after Ironman Barcelona Calella due to the wide range of food and opening times. Their sandwiches, meat and desserts are great. Salads or their paella are not their strenght.

This restaurant is great! It has a huge variation of dishes - especially typical Spanish dishes! We ate every day at this restaurant because it was so delicious (except one day where we would have had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated because it's was so we'll visited). I totally can recommend this restaurant! When you are in Calella you have to eat there!

Terrible service. First we asked if we can have drinks and they said yes. (At 12:30) The waiter very rudely told us where to sit. We went for smoothies and other things as smoothies are clearly advertised. After having a hard time getting a waitress attention she told us the price but she said we had to check what they have on their board, so I went to take a photo to order some smoothies and we was ready to order. When the original waiter came back w e asked what smoothies we wanted and he said they didn't have any!!! So we decided maybe we get something else but no one came to serve us so Iwe left with a very bad feeling and non professional service from Bahari club, very amateur and rude staff.

We had a great time eating at Bahari Club! The staff were very nice. My Spanish isn't great but they took the time to try to understand me rather than talking to me in English which I appreciated. The starters were very good, we had the calamari and prawn croquettes which I highly recommend. Our mains were good but not as nice as the starters/tapas. The atmosphere was chilled with a DJ playing good music throughout the meal and a fantastic view of the beach with the lighthouse in the background.

During our stay in Calella we found ourselves returning to Bahari not just for the ambiance and good food, but most of all the amazing staff. Guillermo was fantastic every day we were there and treated us so very special. We highly recommend this location that’s on the beach and gives you all the ambiance you can possibly imagine.

The bar is a lovely place with a beautiful setting. You can see the lighthouse and it’s very picturesque. We didn’t eat but had drinks a few nights. We had a couple of lovely servers. One was Laura, she went above and beyond and was just really lovely. Remembered us straight away the second night. They have live music some nights, definitely worth a visit.

I have never been treated so poorly by both staff and management in any establishment before. I tried to order a drink at the bar, standing directly in front of several bartenders, and was blatantly ignored. Despite asking multiple times if I could place an order, they simply refused to acknowledge me. The following day, we made the mistake of returning for lunch. Although there were at least 10 free tables, the owner told us they were all reserved. Strangely, those tables remained empty the entire time we were there. Two kind women were just leaving and offered us their table, which seated four people — we were five. When we politely asked if we could take an extra chair from one of the many empty tables, the staff rudely refused. To make matters worse, most of the staff didn’t speak English, and those who did were dismissive and unfriendly. While placing my order, the waiter walked away before I could finish. When I asked him to wait, he rolled his eyes and gave me a visibly irritated look. The food was average — nothing remarkable — but the service was truly unacceptable. I also noticed that the owner responds to negative reviews online claiming they’ll “work on improving,” but based on what I experienced, that seems more like damage control than a genuine intention to do better. Absolutely unacceptable treatment of paying customers. I would never return.

Booked a table, were greeted and seated straight away. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The outside area is great to sit in but being close to the rail line you will get noise from trains passing. All the food was tasty but could definitely benefit from some vegetables. Would definitely visit again.

A beautiful restaurant! Came here for a friend’s birthday dinner with a fairly large party (12) and the staff was very accommodating and attentive. The food was wonderful. Small but good wine list. It was a nice spot for our last night in Calella!

Stayed in Calella for a week all inclusive hotel but decided to go out for dinner one night. Saw this place on the way to the station. The place is beautiful, decorated amazingly and just a nice atmosphere. Our waiter was friendly. The food was amazing. I had the four cheese pizza which was one of the best pizzas I have ever had, better than any I had in Italy! I would definitely recommend, especially for couples as quite romantic when looking out to the beach during the sunset.

Really beautiful place accompanied by delicious food. Everything came out really quickly. The mussels were amazing in the tomato sauce. We both had the barbeque ribs which was amazing as well. Would definitely reccomend.

Excellent food!!! Thai, Indian and Vietnamese. A great alternative to the typical Spanish dishes you'll find elsewhere. Very good and fast service. Outdoor seating if you're lucky. Absolutely fantastic food. I had the Madras, my fiance had the teriyaki chicken and we had the spring rolls to start. Incredible food and service to match! Only regret is not trying jordi's sooner. A must try and the best food we had in Calella!!

Nice combination of Dutch hospitality and the Spanish kitchen. Staff speaks several languages and is very friendly. Pricing is bit high for Spanish standards but the quality of the food is very good. You get a full wooden plate 60cm filled with Spanish tapas. The outside teras is heated and provides coverage from the wind. Great for a relaxed lunch.

A great place that caters more to Catalan tastes than brits abroad. Went twice in 3 days. Very nice home cooking. Tried pigs trotters which were a new thing... and LOVELY.

Not sure if our experience was a fluke, but I didn’t enjoy my meal. I found the service and attitude to be rushed. We both ordered meat, one of which came out properly, the other inedibly raw (from a scale of well done to blue, this was essentially blue, surface-seared only). There was very little service attention since they were busy (which is understandable) but it also felt impolite to me. Overall would not recommend.

Best meal we had! Lunch was like a four course meal, with a bottle of wine (each!) for 26euro. Sitting with a bunch of locals. Can’t go wrong.

More traditional restaurant. Food prepared over the open central charcoal grill. Calçots with romesco were a great starter enjoyed by all. I had the mixed grill as a main course which at €15 is sensational value for more meat than I could possibly eat all cooked to a perfect medium rare. Menu del dia also available and also great value.

The restaurant was filled mostly by locals. The meat from the grill was delicious and the portions were huge. Prices were reasonable as well. Fast and friendly service. I can definitely recommend this place.

Had the capsilon with falafel instead of chicken, for €6.90. Staff are very friendly.

The sushi is good but very small quantity for the price you pay. I was still hungry after eating. The chicken in the starter was a very very thin slice of chicken, mostly it was the fried part. Service is not good and slow. I have been to many other places for sushi in my 14 years in Catalunya, and this one I will not go back to.

Stopped in here fort lunch. A little bit atmosphereless and the staff took a while to warm up...but the sushi and sashimi were delicious. Somewhere to go for the food rather than the decor and vibe.

We wanted to eat there because it looked very nice from the outside and it’s located directly at the beach. But the atmosphere was a little umcomfy. We tried Patatas Bravas which were a lot but the sauce didn’t taste well and I had stomachache afterwards. We also ate grilled vegetables and it tasted very very rude and we only took a little bit of it because we were hungry. It was ugly and we were not able to eat more than half of it. On the other hand we paid nearly 10€ for one plate of vegetables but we wouldn’t have wanted to eat it even if we had been given it for free. Thank god we also ordered french fries! The staff was very unfriendly and grumpy as well. So no recommendation for this place!

Very, very nice place! We have been having lunch here everyday during our stay in Calella. Very tasty food, big portions, quick service and very friendly and available staff. We tried quite a lot of options in their menu, and everything was very good. They have a lot of appetizers and sandwiches (which are half of a baguette) that can be modified as you like, but they also have very tasty Burgers, BBQ and paella. Awesome place!

Great beach bar with reasonably priced sunbeds and parasols to hire. Cocktails were very good and could be bought to take on the beach. Quite noisey with busy atmosphere.

Lovely restaurant/bar on the beach , came here twice whilst in Calella on holiday. The staff are friendly and accommodating and sitting on the beach having an evening meal was really nice and relaxing. The place itself is laid back. Food and drinks not too badly priced, cost around €45 for 2 meals, a dessert and a few beers and 1 cocktail. Would recommend to anyone visiting Calella.

the worst experience with mcdonalds in my life, said by an eployee of mcdonalds in czech republic. first of all i went to order to the cashier and he was so rude to me, he didnt even ask me all the important questions and he didnt know english. we waited for about 20 minutes, but not because of that there were too many people, but because the employees were so confused and like three of them did the same thing at the time. i ordered a mcwrap bco menu and half a liter od water and i recieved a bco burger, overdone fries and i didnt even recieved the water, so i dont recommend this place.

The worst mcdonald's i ever been to. Used kiosk and wanted to pay by cash so I went to the till trying to get someone attention and pay for my order. I stood there with the other people behind me wanted to pay as all to be completely ignored by 3 members of staff. No acknowledgement, no rush , no bother. They rather spend time there talking to each other than working. Very bad business representatives. I ended up walking away as no one even bother to come to the till even after asking . The worst customer service and restaurant ever. The team who was there on 23.10.2025 at 7pm need a proper training and chat with area manager as this service or no service I should say was disgusting. No wonder the place was empty if no one there actually work, they prefer to ignore customers whom pays their wages. Disappointment is a understatement.

The atmosphere was very bad. The staff were arguing with a group of customers, and others were just hanging around. They weren't paying attention to our orders, and everything seemed very chaotic and disorganized. The order came out late and poorly, after taking as long as it wasn't a 'fast-food' service. One of the drinks was missing, so we had to go back and ask for it. They didn't provide napkins, and the food was piled up. A disaster.

Ordered 2 Mc Flurry, they were ready and stayed behind for 5 minutes, I was insisting with the guy to give them to me, he said wait, a couple of minutes later he gave them to me 50% milk and 50% ice cream, not serious I don't recommend. Spanish restaurant next to the beach and train tracks. Waiters are very friendly and spoke great English. When we visited they had a musician playing the saxophone which made for a great atmosphere. Food was large in portion and very tasty. Would recommend for large groups.

Honestly the best restaurant in Calella BY FAR, I don’t even know where to begin. First of all, the place is very cute next to the beach, all the staff is lovely!! They really make us feel special and make this a beautiful moment. Now the food is AMAZING. It’s very affordable for what you got, super fresh product, cooked perfectly; it’s just delicious. We liked this place so much we ate there 2 nights in a row. We will be back next year and will eat at this place everyday!!!!

We never purchased food but it looked and smelled amazing. Everything was being cooked fresh to order and it was all happening in front of you. The bar itself is a haven for not just Barcelona fans, but all football fans. So many items of memorabilia adorning the walls, you could spend hours looking at it all.

An authentically Catalan locals experience, also good if you like FC Barcelona and/or Leo Messi 😂 staff are friendly and helpfully warned us on specific tapas we might like or not; tapas was very filling and tasty (but don’t expect anything with greens!)

I was very upset by the owner’s response to my husband’s comment. If the kitchen closes at 3:00 PM, then why does Google and the sign on your door state opening hours as 1:00–5:00 PM? In that case, what exactly does your establishment operate as between 3:00 and 5:00? Just a terrace where guests get scolded for sitting down? Perhaps the kitchen hours are mentioned somewhere in fine print, but like my husband, I was certain that you were open until 5:00 PM, based on the information on Google and on your door. If that’s not the case, then you should correct the information so as not to mislead your guests. We spent several minutes looking through the menu by the entrance, yet no one approached us. The terrace was not blocked off. I don’t think sitting at an open, unblocked table can be considered rude. At least in other places we have never experienced such a hostile reaction. It’s unfortunate that you assume any guest arriving after the kitchen closes expects your staff to work overtime. I noticed other reviews describing similar situations. As customers, we cannot be expected to know your internal rules and schedules—it would be enough to explain it politely and update the posted information. Also, if you believe sitting at a table when the kitchen is closed is inappropriate, then you should close the terrace instead of blaming your guests. Sadly, your rudeness spoiled our mood and experience. Upd.: unfortunately, the owner’s reply contains personal attacks, xenophobic remarks, and unnecessary comments about “education,” which only highlights the customer service style of this establishment. Dear Irene, sitting down at a terrace table does not provoke aggression in my country, in any other country I have visited, nor in the neighboring restaurants around you. I sincerely wish you the same level of service on your vacation as the one you showed us. All the best.

We are from the USA and met some people across the street that recommended we have dinner at this restaurant. It was perfect. Everything was more than delicious, the atmosphere, the food, the service… The owner really is passionate about what she is doing and she is doing it. Well! She made sure we had an experience that we would not forget and we are grateful.

On the door of the restaurant the plate with working hours is 11:00-17:00. We came at 15:00 and were literally shown the door in a very rude manner by the waitress on 20.08.25. This is the service you gonna get there I guess. Upd. I don't speak Spanish but based on what I see in a translated version of the owner's reply, they say we were rude enough to enter the restaurant during the WORKING HOURS. Well, I'll tell you how it was. I and my wife came up to the front door, saw that restaurant is open until 17:00 and were about to get seated at the table. (That's probably considered rude, huh?) Irritated waitress or owner or whoever it was ran out of the restaurant, without greeting, asking "how may I help?" I asked if the restaurant was working. She answered "yes, I am working here" pretending she doesn't understand what I am asking about (like what? I didn't ask whether you work here or not) I rephrased whether the restaurant was open, she answered "kitchen is closed and will open at 20:00" and left. No goodbyes no nothing. We thanked her and left. And now they are telling we were rude. Listen, if your restaurant is closed you should make it explicit for visitors and not put plates that it's open until 17:00. Even if there is a misunderstanding you can always explain normally and with respect but you don't seem to know what respectful attitude is. Adios.

This basque cuisine restaurant premises are nice, inviting and spacey. The staff was very nice and the owner very pleasant and dedicated. The food was nice, especially the cod ommelette. Prices are a bit high for what you eat, but I recommend you go at least a couple of times and check by yourself.

After I ordered drinks, the waiter started cleaning the table next to me, wiping the crumbs in my direction. We sat there for half an hour and the waiter never asked if we wanted to order food.... he also came to check every 2 minutes if we were still siting there and when my kids asked for the key the answer was " the toilet is only for clients ". Maybe its because i'm black 😕. I'm never coming back to this place.

Good prices, good standard food. [Some months later, it continues to be one of my favourite places in Calella; I especially go for "orxata" (milky sweet juice from a root) and "tallat" [in Catalan] = small latte. Yesterday evening, I manage to find something for my gluten-free, 90% percent vegetarian diet: gluten'free bteaf sandwich with slices of salmon, lettuce, tomato and goat cheese (it was brie cheese offered, but they are so kind and nice, they replaced it with goat cheese; and they also served me a "personalized coffee") So, great place (and wonderful sinful desserts I crave for and cannot have, but not recommended for vegetarians. Beautiful food clearly made to order unlike some restaurants in the area that have your order ready in minutes! Happy to wait for good, fresh food. A bit disappointed that the mains came out separately which meant both my husband and I ate almost entirely on our own. This was because they’d made the wrong dishes and had to start again. Desserts were very yummy and home made. Really friendly main man who had great chat. Waiting staff a bit lacklustre as they seems a bit too busy to get things right. Exceptionally busy with a queue of people waiting for a table.

I was expecting a more “artisanal” Italian pizza. I ordered 2 pizza and they looked so poor - 2 olives on each one - very tiny dough (we haven’t been asked the preferences) - 2 slices of ham… really sad. 1 hour of waiting but at least they delivered at the hotel

I visited Pizzeria Casa Nostra on the last night of my holiday in Calella and let me tell you I made the right decision by far. I dont even usually write reviews but this was the nicest pizza I have ever tasted. The restaurant is family run and the service is authentic and genuine very nice, straightforward and humble people. I definitely would come back! Please go and visit this amazing place if you come to Calella. 🙂🍕🤍

We felt so welcome. It’s a family restaurant and everyone is just so nice. Apart from the main tourist streets the restaurant is so lovely! Food was also very delicious!

We ordered 7 pizzas for delivery from Casa Nostra last week. There was a bit of a mix-up over the payment on delivery and we ended up paying twice, but the delivery chap (also the owner I believe) was most apologetic and promised to fix it from the premises, as it wasn’t possible to reverse the transaction at that moment in time. He called the next day to say they would be bringing cash back to us as having spoken to his bank, that was the easiest way to refund us. He came back to our villa, at a time to suit us, with a cash refund. Absolutely stellar customer service and a truly lovely person. And of course the pizzas were absolutely delicious! Would totally recommend and thank you again Casa Nostra.

Nice restaurant on front of the beach. plenty space and tables. Good drinks and amazing good. we eat starter ( fried fish " boquerones") and croquettes and we found them fresh and gnammy, good portion as well of the fish. As main dish a classic paella. i love that also because they use " lobster sauce" for make it, and this give a special flavour in the end. Good price as well, honestly i will come back!!

The restaurant looks nice but we received one of the worst service in years, which is far from current European standard. The waitress was rude and was acting as she was bothered that we are there. At one occasion she even rised her voice on us. Definitely not a good place to relax.

Don't go here! Very unfriendly staff. Plenty of room, but we were treated like trash and sent away by an irritated bartender. Luckily, there's a place a little further down that's happy to take orders and customers. So, off to El Paso!

We’ve eaten there several times over the past couple of weeks. The service has always been good. The atmosphere is typical for this type of restaurant. The food is solid. We usually go for drinks and appetizers with friends. The Clara is made with lemon which is a plus for me.

The security guards are aggressive, drug use inside during Sunday afternoon parties is unrestricted, and nothing is monitored. I didn't receive any purchase tickets at the bar. Pretty illegal site. I don't recommend it to you.

Really nice place , with ocean views and a nice decoration. The food was tasty as well
