First time in, solid first impressions! Good service. Great food. Too many good looking menu items to try tonight. I went with the chicken n waffles and was really friggin happy with it! Excited to try the burger or steak tips next time!

My boyfriend and I ate at the Red Park Pub this past week after hearing great things about it, and it lived up to expectations! The atmosphere is so unique with all the ski culture and license plates on the walls. It's cool looking at all the old photos and history this place has. It's quintessential NH mountain town. We ordered haddock and steak, both were perfectly cooked. To top it off everyone was so incredibly nice! Kathy was our server and she was awesome. We missed the live music because it was a week day but next time we will make sure to hit it on a weekend!
Heather Y — Google review
20+ yr customer massively disappointed. I didn’t know that the ownership changed, but it’s obvious. The ambiance is still on point and everyone is still super friendly BUT BUT BUT … the food is a different story. My son ordered a Mac n cheese that was more like soup. Tasty - but certainly not Mac n cheese and with such a small portion of noodles. I ordered the steak tips - as I always have. They cut the portion size by almost half and only give you a small handful of fries. I asked if this was the intended serving size as it was surprising & they confirmed that it was. We even got a side of fries that was the same tiny serving size. Even my fine dining experiences give bigger serving sizes than this. I won’t be back for food anymore. Sad and disappointed because I’ve recommended this places to hundreds of people and have always looked forward to it. I would now be embarrassed to send a friend here for food.
Aaron Z — Google review
This was my first time going here. I ordered a bbq combo three way, and got one of each choice. Ribs, briquette and pulled pork. 1. Ribs were fatty but tastes good. 2. Brisket was excellent, hands down. 3. Pulled pork did not taste great, quite honestly it tasted nasty, and I love pulled pork, not sure if it’s the bbq sauce on it, do not recommend. Order also comes with 4 Hush puppies, and those don’t taste great, kinda meh. I tried dipping them with maple syrup, didn’t make a difference. Mashed potato and cow slaw tasted good. Could have been better. I also ordered an appetizer of chicken fingers. They tasted delicious, excellent batter, but for $16 I expected a bigger portion. I would recommend this: If you were to get the three choice option for the bbq combo, double up on the brisket and the third choice be the ribs. My total for this order for the bbq 3 way and the appetizer of chicken fingers was $52. Quite honestly if I had to rate this place out of 10 I would give it a 6.

Diners beware. Unfortunately the Red Parka that once was is long gone - we will not be returning. Excited to order a family favorite, though they were out of it that day we were happy to try another menu item. Since it is marketed as a steak house we naturally ordered steaks (medium rare), once they got to the table they were grey through and very well done. Our server Hayden was very helpful and handled the situation accordingly. We ordered a different cut of steak, switching from tbones to fillets as they were much thicker (all were ordered medium rare, cooked on the same day, same time.) They were all different, one came well, another came blue and had to be cooked at home (photos below).. Then a woman named Claire, who I can only assume was management approached our table, she spoke down to us, told us we were wrong and told us we didn’t understand how to visually perceive how a steak is cooked. She stated that outside in broad daylight the steak looked grey, but inside in the dark restaurant it was practically bloody. I’ve never been talked to like this in my life. Claire is bad for business and the food is unfortunately no longer worth it. Unfortunately the new management is very apparent.

Uniquely decorated with license plates from different states, skis, etc. The outside patio area has a fence made from skis which was a great addition to the restaurant theme. They had a band playing and enjoyed the music but when eating inside made it very difficult to hear so I suggest eating out on the patio. The beverage list didn't have many choices for different types of mixed drinks, I got a Blueberry Sangria and did not care for it at all and the steak tip dinner came with 4 small tips and the fries were good but tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in awhile and you could really taste it in the chicken fingers from the Appetizers. I was not impressed with the service, the waitress was quick to walk away EVERY TIME before we could finish asking for something@
Kristin — Google review
Went with a friend, after this place was recommended to us. The steak and crab stuffed shrimp were horrendous. The steak, they wouldn't cook it medium rare as requested. It was flavorless, grey and just inedible. The ribs were dry, little meat and mostly bark. Thankfully they removed the steak and shrimp meal, which was nice of them. The wait staff was attentive and nice. That's about the only thing this place had going for it. I don't recommend.
Raymond E — Google review
We came when the band was just starting so it was perfect timing. Very good prime rib and amazing pulled pork with their secret bbq sauce. Chili was also very good; the kitchen can grill your prime rib a little to add some char to it, i will remember to burn my steak a little next time.

I must’ve passed this unassuming spot a dozen times during my four-day stay in Bartlett and little did I know I was missing out on something truly special. On my final night, I finally gave in to curiosity, and I’m so glad I did. From the first bite, the food was exceptional. I started with the Dan Dan noodles, which honestly could’ve been a main course. The broth was deeply rich and perfectly spiced, layered with umami and heat, and loaded with veggies and noodles. It was hearty, comforting, and absolutely crave-worthy. I’d return just for that dish alone. 10/10. Despite already being full, I couldn’t resist the seafood bouillabaisse. The herby, aromatic broth was a beautiful contrast to the bold Dan Dan noodles, and it came overflowing with plump shrimp, lobster, scallops, and mussels, all generous portions that felt luxurious without being over the top. The service? Impeccable. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and make this a must-stop. And if you’re not nearby, go out of your way. This place is absolutely worth it. Cheers!

Absolutely delicious. Ricotta Gnocchi, the Steak, and the cider donuts with caramel and ice cream were phenomenal, the Tuscan Chicken Cacciatore and Parmesan Bread we're also delicious. Even the Kids Salmon and Kids Pasta were tasty.

While staying in the Jackson area this was our favorite meal the entire trip. The gnocchi with scallops was delicious and the cider donuts with caramel and ice cream for dessert were unique and really tasty.
Seth H — Google review
While I loved everything about this restaurant, the hospitality of the staff here is unrivaled. Came here earlier on a Thursday evening with my wife and small infant. When we walked in I immediately felt incredibly welcomed by the host and server- they made us feel so at ease entering their establishment with a baby. The decor of this restaurant is quaint, the food is spectacular and the hospitality is unparalleled. Having a young baby means you never know when your little one is going to start screaming! This happened to us several times after we sat down, and we would run out front to calm our baby. The host and our server were so understanding and encouraging and made sure we continued to feel welcomed and supported while dealing with a challenging situation. I eventually suggested we move outside away from other patrons, which the staff quickly assisted us in doing. We ordered the Dan Dan noodles, Brussels sprouts, and cacciatore. The server offered to split up the cacciatore to share which I always appreciate, and the deal was delicious, as were the noodles and Brussels. The portions are large and you definitely get good value here. There’s a selection of local beers and house ciders, and the cider we tried was absolutely fantastic, and that’s coming from someone who generally avoids such ciders. We have such fine memories of the food and the hospitality from this establishment. Thank you to everyone who made us feel welcomed. I recommend this restaurant unequivocally to anyone in the White Mountain region!
Sam W — Google review
Phenomenal food! One of NH’s best restaurants. Top quality with large portion sizes that you don’t usually find at fine restaurants. Mixed greens salad with apples and cider vinaigrette served two, as did the cider donuts with ice cream and caramel dessert. Mains (salmon, chicken cacciatore) had superb flavor. We will be back anytime we’re in the region!

White Mountain Cider Co. is a hidden treasure in this little town. We will definitely return for dinner next time when we bring our family for hiking trips. Their pork chop and chicken were so juicy and tender. The vegetables were so fresh. The shrimp was delicious. We won’t leave without their famous Cider donuts and ice cream desert! It’s very unique and delicious! Everything was cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and professional. They offered a good variety of dishes, and it’s pretty consistent. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to!

Really enjoyed the gnocchi, apple cider donuts, and cheesecake. Everything was so fresh and tasty!
J M — Google review
This place came highly recommended from a friend that lives in the area. It did not disappoint. We made a reservation for 6 on the patio on Saturday night. We were seated on time and our server took our drink order quickly. The only complaint I have is that the traffic from 302 is loud. I ordered the Bouillabaisse and my wife ordered the duck. The food did not take long to arrive and once it did the sound of traffic seemed to disappear. This is how food is supposed to taste. It was the best meal I have had in a long time. We tried each other’s meals and hers was also fantastic. We had loose plans to hit up a restaurant in North Conway for breakfast on our way out of town the next morning but opted to return for breakfast at the attached market. Also worth it. This restaurant is as much a draw as the views in the area. We will for sure be back.

Tuckerman's Restaurant & Tavern is a cozy, log cabin-style spot with outdoor seating and a wide selection of pub food and 20 beers on tap. It's a beloved dining destination in the White Mountains, known for its consistently delicious menu options and attentive service. While it can get quite busy, the wait is worth it according to many patrons.
Wow! Great supper! There was about a 45 minute wait on the Saturday night that we went. We had the Poutine as an appetizer. This had a great beer cheese and short rib meat. Delicious. I had the Bison ribeye, I believe it was 14 ounces, and market price was approximately $48. It came with 2 sides. I had the mashed potatoes and green beans, which were fresh and delicious. The Bison steak was excellent, ordered mid-rare. We also had the meatloaf which was great! Very delicious. We also had calamari and some chicken tenders tossed in BBQ sauce. All in all, very delicious supper! Great atmosphere and service as well. Jacqelyn was our waitress. Very attentive!
Chris M — Google review
I’ll start with the friendly staff as a positive. The atmosphere was what I expected for a busy restaurant, I enjoyed it. My calamari app was average, kinda chewy, but edible. Tenderloin steak was very good and cooked how we ordered it. My blackened New York center cut strip, It was cooked as ordered, but when I see market price for my steak I have expectations that I’m paying a premium and getting a premium quality steak. I was disappointed in this steak. It was thin, fatty and lacked the flavor I was expecting. Now there must try item was the dessert. Simple, yet delicious. Bear ball’s, yup. Ask for bear ball’s and it’s shareable. Overall the food was average, to me anyway. I will go back to try something else in the future.

Great service by owner & staff! Would highly recommend! We traveled to New Hampshire for a family vacation and ordered $250 worth of food. We had to go back because an item was missing. They went above & beyond to make up for it; added in a butter ball desert, which was delicious! Can’t wait to come back!
Liz F — Google review
We were extremely disappointed in our meal on our recent visit. We had first visited Tuckermans 3 years ago and had an incredible experience. Since that time we had recommended the restaurant numerous times to friends who were going to the area. So when we just came back for a long weekend Tuckermans was on the top of our list for dinner. Both my wife and I ordered the prime rib special 12 oz prime rib was $38. and included two sides. I ordered my prime rib rare which they said was red cool center. My wife ordered her prime rib medium rare which they said warm red center. To be fair we should have complained immediately when our food was brought out. My rare prime rib was pink cool center and my wife's was pink to brown cool center. The meat was also not tender but rather tough. When our server came out to check on us we explained that we were disappointed. She seemed to acknowledge that the prime rib was over cooked but said it was very early in the evening and that's the best they had for our request. Both my wife and I did eat as much as we could considering we were paying more than usual for a 12 oz prime rib. The two sides we received were good so our only complaint is with the prime rib. On our way out after paying for the meal the nice woman at the front desk asked about our experience and we explained everything to her. She seemed surprised and told us she would speak with the chef. A little too late as there are so many dinning options in the area. Unfortunately I don't see us returning or recommending Tuckermans again. One other issue we had was that on their menu the chophouse steaks and the prime rib special do not give you a price of the meal. You need to ask your server of the price on any chop house or prime rib they offer. We don't mind spending the money for a quality meal but I'm sorry to say Tuckermans let us down.

Go local, it rarely disappoints! They infuse vodka and it is very good! The potato skins were fresh and yummy! Service from the time you walk on till you are finished was fantastic!

It's not a fancy place; the food was good, the service was fast, and the prices were reasonable. If you're in the area and hungry, I recommend it. I paid $120 for dinner for three people.

We are repeat offenders to this scrumptious eatery. Always standing room only. Not on Easter morning. We had the whole place to our shelf for a few minutes anyway, it was very enjoyable the staff is happy and welcoming! The food was super delicious and served hot and fast as always. The portions on our breakfast bowls were shocking, and in a world of shrinkflation, I swear they bowl was bigger than last year. I'm always glad to go back!

On a Wednesday morning there are not a lot of breakfast places open in the area. We had driven by this place several times over the past few days and it was always busy. From the outside it looks pretty small, but it surprisingly bigger inside. It looks newly updated and is very clean. We walked in and were seated right away. The menu has something for everyone and a variety of options. The food was quick to come out and delicious. I got the famous blueberry pancakes- we were told they won an award in People Magazine and my husband got the French toast. They are open everyday.
Bonnie T — Google review
Poor quality food. Omelette was particularly disappointing. It was like a rubber overcooked. Stale corn bread. Warmed up potatoes with burnt sides. Burned bacon. “Chorizo” turned out to be just a mild sausage. Pancakes were good enough.
Natalia P — Google review
Such a disappointment! After a very long wait for seats we were crammed into table almost touching others. The service is decent but the food is terrible. Somehow the huevos breakfast bowl is packed with raw jalapenos and is still bland. Had to cover it all in salt, pepper and hotsauce to make edible. Others at the table ordered the biscuits and gravy. It is sickeningly sweet and completely disgusting.

Great place for breakfast near storyland. Came about 9:00 on a Thursday morning. The parking lot looked full when we pulled in but we waited less than 3 minutes for a table to open. I imagine it gets busy at times as it’s a small place but there never seemed to be a wait while we were there. The food was good quality with real ingredients. We had Da Bomb steak bowl, the Shack Toast, and the kids Anklebiter. The sausage parties and wheat toast were excellent. We would definitely come back

Reading about the "Mad Genius" raised my expectations, unfortunately the Fred-Tata lowered them. The warm eggs are buried under cold herbed cream cheese, cold smoked salmon, cold capers, cold tomato slices and raw red onion. Cold, with a severe flavor profile. Should have gotten flap-jacks...

Joseph's Spaghetti Shed and Italian Market is a long-standing, family-owned restaurant that offers a cozy setting to enjoy classic Italian comfort foods like pizza and pasta. Customers have praised the generous portions of their takeout meals, with leftovers lasting for days. The friendly service and small market offering frozen Italian wedding soup have also been highlighted. While some diners found the chicken parm to be grilled instead of breaded, others appreciated the attentive waitstaff.
The pizzas were all delicious. We obviously had to try the spaghetti and meatballs, and we went with the homemade sauce, which was amazing. It reminded me of my grandfather's sauce. We also got the chicken peccata, which was also amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant for take out because they do not offer dine in service, which really stinks. They also sell frozen pizzas, which is great for a quick meal after a busy day.

Delicious!!! From the get go they were friendly on the phone, and the order was quick and easy. When I picked it up, they continued to be so welcoming and offered assistance if I needed any recommendations for wine to go with our meals. But the real star, the meals! Everything was SO good. We got the Caprese that came with a lovely pesto on top. We also got the Eggplant Parm with House Sauce and the Spaghetti Combo with Bolognese, again both delicious. Give them a try if you’re looking for really excellent takeout and a good experience!

Excellent veggie pizza, with a multitude of veggies. Nice flatbread crust that has right mix of crunch and chewiness! They also have a nice little Italian market adjacent to the counter area, that offers a good variety of authentic Italian food products for your home kitchen.

We must have driven by this place a dozen times, always assuming it was just a little “shed” and never stopping—though I’ll admit, I was always curious. I finally decided to pop in one day, and I’m so glad I did. The owner greeted me while cooking in the kitchen, preparing for both the dinner crowd and stocking the freezer. We ended up chatting for a good 15 minutes about the restaurant’s 40-year history and how they adapted through COVID. While they no longer offer dine-in, they’ve transformed into a takeout spot with a charming little store full of homemade meals, wine, and authentic Italian delicacies. We couldn’t resist—we picked up hot meals for dinner that night and came back the very next day for frozen favorites to take home. Every single thing we’ve tried has been incredible—soup, pasta, chicken parm, eggplant, and tonight’s chicken pot pie. Truly, this is homemade cooking at its very best. I feel so grateful to have finally discovered this gem!!

My family and I were staying for a week and we had a GREAT takeout dinner.. only thing wrong was I bought wine somewhere else! Guess we have to go back! Good marinara, tasty meatballs.. cannoli were pre-filled but still fresh. Garlic butter and full loaf of bread - chef’s kiss! Cheers

This place has great, authentic Italian food. Opened originally as a breakfast restaurant by an Italian immigrant, it has evolved into what you see today. The restaurant is take-out only. You can call and order ahead. We waited about 20 minutes for our food. Take that opportunity to take a look around the Italian market. It seemed that the frozen pot pies are a big hit with the bikers. The pot pies are big. I had the Spaghetti with meatballs and the house sauce, which featured mushrooms, some veggies and meat. It was fantastic! The others in my party had the eggplant parmasean and roasted red pepper pesto. They loved it. A great meal!
Keith R — Google review
Very nice customer service, but food was bland and disappointing. We ordered take out and picked it up. Shrimp scampi was "off" in weird garlic taste but never saw any garlic and shrimp were tiny and looked precooked. Broccoli and chicken with garlic and chicken broth was bland and chicken was not cooked in sauce and taste and texture felt precooked and added after. No garlic flavor at all. Tons of spaghetti but not enough sauce for the portion and was dry. This was our 1st try and we won't be going back. We couldn't eat it. If you appreciate good Italian food cooked fresh I would not waste your money. It wasn't cheap and plenty of other choices.

Cabin Fever Restaurant is a charming spot in NH that's definitely worth a visit. The owners, Jenn and Jim, are incredibly welcoming, and the staff, like Theresa, provide exceptional service. The homemade food is not only delicious but also a good dietary choice. The lobster mac and cheese is particularly outstanding, along with the soups and lobster/clam rolls. Even though the fisherman's platter may be on the pricier side, it offers a generous amount of seafood.
While we were out sightseeing on a Sunday afternoon, we came upon this restaurant. What a find! The service, the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, all top notch! We had the Lobster Bisque Soup, Tossed Salad, with real blue cheese, and Chicken Tenders! Absolutely, one of the best meals we have ever had! Service was excellent! I wan to go back and have the scallops! 😀

We went to The Cabin Fever Restaurant for the first time this evening, and unfortunately, it will be the last time because they informed us that tonight was the last day before they closed their doors. I am very curious why they are closing because the food and service were amazing. We got the firehouse burger, lobster roll, the children got claim strips, and shrimp. We found it great that they had multiple seafood options in their kids' menu. My wife and I loved that because it's very rare to find seafood on the kids' menuand when you do, it is usually fish and chips. Wished we found this cozy little spot sooner because we'd have come back again for sure.

Came here for an early takeout lunch just as they were opening. The owners were very nice and quickly took my order. The food came out fresh and hot (well not the lobster roll but I ordered it cold. The lobster roll had a ton of meat. Highly suggest this restaurant! The lobster bisque was also very good

We ordered take out, so didn’t have the best pictures but the food is amazing. The steak marinade is so special and tasty. I wasn’t so sure about the pizza when I saw it, but it tastes great. The portion is also pretty generous.

What a great place! The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely out of this world! I had the Meat Lovers Mac and Cheese. He had the Lobster Mac and Cheese. Large portions and served hot. So good 👌

Great ambiance... Really get a feel for cabin life in the mountains... Puts you in the mood for your vacation. Staff is friendly. Soup was forgotten, so came same time as the meal, which left items cold/soggy. Food is OK. Typical vacation faire/very casual dining. There is a bar, but family friendly environment.

Comfortable rustic atmosphere....really has some beautiful cabin decor. For the food, I recommend the seafood, which for us was generous portions of very fresh, expertly prepared and not greasy fried scallops and haddock.

Cabin Fever is an awesome place! We were in NH and it was definitely worth the trip a hop, skip and jump down from Attitash! The owners Jenn and Jim are some of the most pure hearted, generous people I have ever met! Theresa is a beyond-exceptional server, as well!! Matty B's Mountainside Cafe is a hidden gem that truly shines when you're in need of a delicious meal. After discovering the Grand Summit Hotel's restaurant was closed, many found solace at Matty B's, where the food and service exceeded expectations. Diners raved about the flaky and crispy fish and chips, while others enjoyed the delectable lobster roll. The atmosphere is lively, with stunning views of ski slopes that add to its charm. Families visiting Mt.
Went here with a large party of 6 that included adults and kids of multiple ages. The food was delicious, and everyone ate well! The picky eater kids even did great on the kid meals. I got the gluten free pizza, and it was excellent. It was cooked perfectly and everything tasted fresh. We would definitely go back here if we visit the parks around again. Prices were reasonable for the quality and the quantity of food provided.

Reliable pizza. I gave the white version a try (no red sauce). I enjoyed it. The poutine was just okay - you might prefer a darker gravy. The "no wait" was because we sat in the bar.
Doug C — Google review
This restaurant was just average for me in terms of food, but to be fair, when you're traveling in the mountains to enjoy the scenery, finding a spot like this is already a plus. The food itself was okay—nothing particularly memorable. The fries seemed a bit old and hard, and the beef balls were on the dry side. However, the setting really makes up for it. The view from the restaurant is beautiful, and the atmosphere is lively, especially with the live music playing across the way. It’s clearly a popular spot, as it was quite crowded when we visited. Overall, while the food may not have stood out, the location and ambiance made it a decent stop during our trip.
Tracy T — Google review
The fish and chips were outstanding! It was so flaky and crispy. The fish was cooked perfectly. There were so many fries that I couldn't finish them, but I ate all of that fish. The coleslaw was not good. It was very flavorless. My boyfriend had the lobster roll and loved it. It was just so good. It was pretty neat to watch the ski slopes because I've never been skiing. It looks fun. The staff was quick to take orders and bring out the hot food, and they always smiled. It was a great spot.to have lunch before we went snowmobiling for 3 hours. I'd love to come back.

We love Matty B's! The pizza, salad, wine deal is great to share! Kids menu is decent, and there are dessert options for everyone. Waitstaff and atmosphere very family friendly. Pizza crust is well seasoned and unique. Highly recommend The Jackson for pepperoni lovers! 'roni is cooked to perfection with just the right amount of cupping and crunch. We will be back!

Nestled in a charming location, Bart's Deli and General Store is the perfect spot for breakfast and lunch enthusiasts. Honestly I was slightly hesitant because of the reviews, but the food was great! Called it in and had a seamless experience. Staff was all friendly and it felt cozy. The basic pizza was delicious, good dough. The vampires kiss was woahhh, so tasty and definitely would keep the vampires away! My dad got the Italian combo and enjoyed it! The store itself has good daily essentials and drinks. Great one stop shop for breakfast/lunch/ or dinner!

I went in for Bart's Famous Pickles and left with an incredible prime rib dinner that rivals any steak restaurant. The owner is fine; be nice, and she will be nice. Be rude and it’s no soup for you.
Christopher B — Google review
We are locals, we’ve ordered many times. I always order a steak quesadilla which is absolutely delicious! My husband says the prime rib dinner is perfect. The next time we ordered we tried to get 2 prime rib dinners and the woman said they ran out and try to order in a couple hours ( they would’ve been closed). Today, for lunch, we ordered 2 loaded steak subs, a turkey BLT on toasted rye ( I wanted a steak quesadilla but was told that they couldn’t do it.. ok maybe they’re out of wraps?) hand-cut fries and hand-cut chips, originally wanted hand-cut onion rings but they never seem to have them (was told she could only do one order of fries when we wanted 3…ok not a big deal, I’ve worked in the serving industry and also know what it takes to make hand-cut fries). The fries were raw in the middle, the subs didn’t have peppers onions or mushrooms and the sub roll was so doughy it’s inedible. The woman was short on the phone, rushed me through ordering, and told me to be quick grabbing a drink for my son. Not the first time she’s been rude to me but it will be the last. It’s unfortunate because we love to support local businesses but NOT rude local businesses. Total amount paid was $45.30. Good luck.

The elderly woman who works here needs to stop being so frantic and overwhelmed by the simplest request. I used to love this place but the last few times I have been in there have felt like I was bothering her by just being there. If this place is going to survive, they better get rid of her facing the customers. I don’t like to write poor reviews but this has been a pattern, not just a bad day for her.
Joseph B — Google review
Been in there so many times every time the woman who owns the place is absolutely miserable and rude to me. He threw my change at me the last time I was in there and that is the last time I will ever go in there. If you're up for a bit of abuse some of the selection is fine, but the smarter thing to do is just drive up to grants where they're always kind they're always helpful and they always have good service.
Lee F — Google review
Went to get a pizza at 4:00 in the afternoon and was told very bluntly that the deli closes at 2:00. No problem. Elderly woman working behind the counter had a very bad attitude that I even asked to get some food at a deli. Lol. I bought something and left said thank you and she mumbled something under her breath...

Initially, there was disappointment with the restaurant's cash-only policy and a significant sinkhole in the driveway. However, the Cuban sandwich offered an incredible culinary experience. The ingredients were of high quality, but it was the delectable sauce and crispy bread that elevated this sandwich to greatness. It may be one of the best breads used for a sandwich ever tasted. Additionally, the staff was notably pleasant. Looking forward to returning!
Excellent unexpected find while we were passing through for a late lunch at the end of Labor Day Weekend. Heads up, Cash only, which we just barely had enough. We split the Italian and the Cuban paninis, and both were delicious. The Cuban was a little soggy here and there, but still tasty. Very pleasant lady running the place and enjoyed the bonus candy too! Keep up the good eats at a reasonable price. :-)

Ok, this has the potential to be a 5* sandwich. Needs 30-40% more meat and less of a bias on the cut. Mine was basically cut the long way which was weird. The flavor is great and it's a small family shop so I loved it. Excellent Reuben but ask for double meat or something.

It’s a local pizza and sub joint also selling some convenience store items. Can’t get any simpler than that. Negative reviews of this place make no sense, you’re in NH not Naples or NY. El Reparo is a Mexican restaurant that offers generous portions of delicious food, starting with complimentary corn chips and salsa. The atmosphere is lively, but some guests find it loud due to the lack of acoustic dampening. Despite this, the staff is friendly and respectful, providing excellent service. The restaurant features a fun train that goes around the ceiling. Customers praise the fantastic food, including hot and fresh dishes like Loco jalapenos and skinny margaritas.
Everything was great about this place! I did 4 stars for atmosphere because it was a bit loud, but the food was great with large quantities(2 meals worth). The waiter was nice, paid attention to us, checked on us and was helpful with pronunciations. We got a bunch of food for what we paid. Check out the pics. The names of what we got are on the receipt.

They're doing it right here. The service is top notch and the staff is so friendly. They've done a nice job on the decor. The margaritas were big and yummy. Everything we ordered came out quickly and correctly, and everyone was very happy with their meal. Finding this restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. We'll definitely be returning!
Deanna A — Google review
This is one of the top restaurants in the area. My husband and I came here for a date night during our vacation. It was a little funny with the old train still above the door (this was a train restaurant originally) and the train tracks still around the ceiling. However, the atmosphere inside was fresh and beautiful. There was a big, striking painting of a horse on the wall, which is El Reparo's logo. After being seated, Pablo came over and greeted us with a huge smile on his face. He was extremely welcoming and happy, lifting up our moods and getting us excited to the food. We ordered the Perfect Margaritas, along with nachos, a salad bowl with steak, and ground beef tacos. The drinks were absolutely delicious. They were fresh and had quite a bit of alcohol that was well hidden. I suffer from severe reflux and I did not have any issues at all with these margaritas, so I know they are high quality. The nachos were perfect and filling. The meals were excellent as well. The steak in my salad bowl was seasoned so beautifully and cooked to perfection. My husband enjoyed his tacos as well. Everything from top to bottom was incredible, plus it was even better with Pablo as our waiter. We enjoyed our meal so much that we brought our children back the following day. They loved the grilled cheese, fries, and the chicken tacos. My daughter also ordered a strawberry daiquiri, which was served in a big margarita glass with plenty of whipped cream on top. We were all over the moon for this place. This time I ordered the Chipotle bowl and my husband had a burrito, both of which were huge and delicious. This is truly a gem for the North Conway/Bartlett area. We can't wait for our next vacation so we can visit El Reparo again! Thank you Pablo for your amazing service and smiling face!

Subway is a laid-back, counter-service eatery that invites you to craft your own sandwiches and salads just the way you like them. With a focus on health-conscious choices, this popular chain allows you to customize your meal with fresh ingredients and flavorful toppings. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty sub or a crisp salad, Subway offers something delicious for everyone who values both taste and nutrition.
Went at opening at 9am as posted both on Google and the Subway restaurant. Just trying to get a sandwich to have for lunch later while skiing, and waited for 20 minutes for them to open. There was an employee inside still preparing to open but at some point retreated to the back and didn’t come back out after seeing us waiting. Understandable to need a few extra minutes to finish prepping to open, but 20 minutes late is unacceptable.
Johanna G — Google review
One of the two restrooms was out of order so the one that I could use was very dirty and clogged. Front door also had lots of greasy fingerprints all over it. The building itself seems pretty old and the parking isn’t that great but my food was fine and the staff person that I interacted with was fine.
Amanda C — Google review
When I came in there was one gentleman already being served, the employee did not greet or acknowledge me, even while waiting for the man's sandwich to toast. Then another worker came out eventually and served me, they stacked my meat, cheese and toppings on top of one another, the vegetables did not reach the end of the sandwich. And when wrapping the sandwich instead of tucking the filling in with the knife like most subways do, this employee just wrapped up my sandwich so my condiments ended up all over the wrapper and not really in my sandwich. Poor customer service, no sense of urgency and no cookies at 5pm when they close at 8pm.
Wren K — Google review
It was hotter in the store than out. Too hot to even wait, left to eat somewhere else. Food and staff are great as usual if you don’t mind eating in a sauna. Get some air conditioning so we can stand to be in there!
Ginny — Google review
As sandwich shops go, usually Subway is a good choice. This one, not so much. The toppings that went on the sandwiches for vegetables were wilted and tasted like they were a couple days old. The atmosphere was probably more due to the time of year and the location. This is a tiny subway with probably four tables and no one was there. 5: 00pm, dinner time and no one was there. Given the low quality that we got on our food, it was very expensive. A six inch sub, a 12-in sub and a bottle of water for $35. The one redeeming quality was the guy behind the counter. He was friendly and polite and gave us service with a smile.
Brian L — Google review
Bathroom is disgusting. If Employees use this there is now way they should be handling food.
Paul D — Google review
Have to give this long time Subway location across from the White Mountains viewing stop (great bathrooms!) a harsh review since the day we stopped, they only had one overworked employee and the ovens were on the fritz so no toasting and cold bacon etc. Lettuce was browning. If all the prep was being done by one employee, quality probably suffered. Everyone in line felt bad for the one employee who had to battle the line as well as take online orders which kept coming in. A place like this shouldn't open without a minimum of two employees me thinks. There is a new foundation next door - perhaps this store will be moving over to a new location - one can only hope. Also, half of the dine-in area was closed due to a leaking roof.
Edward F — Google review
Thought I'd give this place another chance. I should have kept driving. Still as dirty as can be. The gentleman working had a gross beard that was not netted. I did go a week after the governor opened up restaurants during the covid pandemic. Anyone else that went, knows they had chairs in front of the cooler case. The glass on the case was so disgusting and I am baffled by this considering restaurants should have been cleaning more than before. The entry door was just as gross.

Pumpkin pancakes were lovely, and the train fries were perfectly crispy.

Good place to have a decent breakfast. The only thing I didn't really like was hot chocolate, a strange taste.
SveT — Google review
Every year we take a vacation to North Conway area. A must every time is Fryeburg Fair and Glen Junction for their pumpkin pancakes with maple cream. Sad to say I was very disappointed with the pancakes for the first time. The plate with all the whipped cream is what I would always get the one with the little maple cream in the center is what I got this time. May have been an error as I saw the waiter we use to have bring a plate with all the cream to a customer. Will have to wait another year and will try again ☹️

First time back since the renovation and the restaurant looks incredible. The breakfast was hot and delicious. Definitely recommended.
Brooks — Google review
The omelet is spread really thin to get more filling but that throws off the egg to filling ratio. The home fries are oversalted.the staff is kind but too busy to be attentive.
ShaVaughn P — Google review
Excellent! We were seated in less than 10 minutes and the service was great. All of our food was really delicious. I got the Farm Fresh eggs: scrambled with toast, the train fries, & sausage. My kiddo got the French toast and it was a great portion! We got a side of fruit and that was fresh and delicious. My son loved the hot chocolate with whipped cream.

Dunkin' is a beloved chain known for its signature breakfast offerings and an extensive selection of coffee beverages. Recently, I had the chance to visit one location where I was amazed by the efficiency of a single employee managing both the drive-through and in-store orders with remarkable speed. It’s impressive how they keep everything running smoothly!
Being in my 60's I like interacting with people not kiosks for ordering food. An employee of my age stepped up and asked if she could help me. She said she doesn't like the kiosks either. Super helpful and sweet.
Teddy W — Google review
workers were wicked rude, didn’t greet any of us and basically forced to use the kiosk. took forever to make the food and was walking away after putting it behind the ready trays, had to grab it and walk out. i left them a penny, so they know their worth🙏🏼 also didn’t have anything we intended on ordering.
Ava S — Google review
After waiting at the drive thru for 15 minutes today, the Dunkin app didn't open, so no coffee for me. This is the second time this happened recently. Your business depends on decent wi-fi - you can do better than this. I will not be returning to this location.
Diane Y — Google review
We went through the drive up. The service and staff was great. The only disappointment was they had no munchkin donuts.
Rita E — Google review
Used to be good, now it's not the same as before. Service is no longer good. Guy there is very rude. He even charged for a cup of water even when I have purchased other stuff. No other Dunkin does that. Crazy.
Chandra M — Google review
Theee employees working and would not so much as acknowledge anyone inside they were working drive thru only. When the gentleman in front of us asked several time if any of is could have service he was ignored ao he walked out. We waited a few minutes ans I asked if we could be served. We were told they were too busy with the drive thi And we she go get in that line. Needless to say we and quite a few people walked out and did NOT get in the drive thru line!! 3 rudest servers iove ever seen!!!

Best Dunks in NH bar none. Super friendly staff, consistent food and drinks and fast service even when they’re busy. There’s a reason I stop every day and it isn’t just my tea.

The one man (with brown hair & tattoos) working solo today. Wow! Literally a one-man show today. Running constantly for drive-through & greeted me & got my order made right away too. How do you move so fast? I hope they compensate you well for your hard work.

Burger King is a popular fast-food establishment that offers a variety of grilled burgers, fries, and shakes. Customers have praised the quality of their food, particularly highlighting the excellent preparation of their burgers.
The person at the drive thur was ok she appeared to be just dry she could have been a lot more pleasant but over all she did nothing wrong.

I doordash Burger King since it is my father's birthday, and he loves the whooper. I ordered fries and a Whooper for him, while I ordered the Rodeo Cheeseburger with bacon and onions with Mozzarella Fries. I was so excited to try the Rodeo Cheeseburger and Mozzarella Fries. My excitement quickly faded when I opened the bag. They forgot to put the onion rings in my Rodeo Cheeseburger. The Mozzarella Fries were way too skinny than they were in the picture. The Rodeo Cheeseburger was alright, but just disappointed I didn’t get everything that was supposed to come on it. Luckily my dad's food didn’t have any problems.

I Ordered a Whopper Jr. The sandwich was smoking hot like it had been microwaved. I went inside and was greeted by Ray. He had a pleasant demeanor and a great attitude. He apologized and fixed my sandwich himself! He made sure it was perfect before I left and I appreciate that. Sometimes negative things happen but it's all about how you recover and make things right for your customer after an error was made. Thanks Ray

Ordered a Whopper combo and a chicken sandwich combo. Get home and the chicken sandwich was a Whopper Jr. Drove back to the place, no apology and the Whopper Jr was just thrown away instead of seeing if Iwanted it!! I ordered just mayo and cheese on the chicken sandwich and it came with very little mayo, lettuce and No Cheese!! Not only did they screw the order up once, they screwed it up twice!!!!! This place has gone downhill!!!!

This is the worst Burger King I've ever had. My food was delivered and my burger was very cold, didn't get my milkshake nor did I get my onion rings after I How can it be that hard to make a fast food meal from?

This is the worst BK I have ever seen. I asked for 2 sausage egg and cheese. They just gave me the bread egg and cheese and n meat. I went back up the after driving all the way home. And told them about it and they said sorry for that and they …. Gave me my some bag back with my old cold sandwich and 2 pieces of meat wrapped in a separate paper wrapper!!! This is totally unacceptable. This BK need to fire all their employees and start over.

Haven't eaten Burger King in years. Looks like that trend will continue. Workers was indifferent. Greeted with, Welcome to Burger King" and then silence. No, may i take your order or go ahead with your order or even I'm ready. Got the food and no thank you or have a nice day. Just handed my food and walked away. Fries were not done. Chik King sandwich that Burger King has bragged about was nothing but a greasy piece of nastiness between two buns. No mayo, no pickles, no anything but grease.

Slopeside property offering straightforward rooms & suites with free Wi-Fi, plus an outdoor pool.
This place gives the "shining" vibe. The rooms are dated but very clean. The staff is awesome and very helpful. The outdoors area is beautiful and right near Mt Washington. There is a nearby town 20 mins away for food which makes this a perfectly placed hotel. Thank you for the great stay.
Juan N — Google review
We stayed for the first time this past weekend for just a night and were pleasantly surprised how much the hotel had to offer at such a reasonable price! The room was in some ways dated, but I loved that because it really keeps the charm of Northern NH hotels! The pool was SO nice and the arcade room was decent. Not all of the games were working but that’s ok, fun was still had! The staff were so nice and everyone had smiles on their faces. It was nice to see! We also LOVED the food we got dinner from the restaurant. So delicious! Our only complaint is that we were under the assumption that there would be a little place to get iced coffee and breakfast, based on previous reviews. Come to find out, that has since been closed and we did not see that mentioned anywhere, which we thought was odd since we saw a menu at the hotel with a whole breakfast menu. The only thing for breakfast was little cups of cereal, lemon loafs, drinks etc. for an extra cost of course. We were a little frustrated by that being closed because we were very much looking forward to getting breakfast there. But we now know that for next time! So to other travelers, keep that in mind. All in all, we would definitely stay here again and our first stay here was a great one!

Pros: Rooms larger than usual. Grand lobby interior. Cons: Hot tubs were drained. Sauna was barely warm. No soap available, had to wash my hands with shampoo! Curtains designed very poorly so don't block the light.

I have been coming to the Grand Summit hotel for years now with my family. The stay is always pleasant and refreshing. No matter what time of year or season, the staff is always friendly and helpful and the amenities are the best you will find in the white mountain region. I absolutely love this place and always look forward to coming back…

Overall, I was very pleased with our stay at Grand Summit. We planned a trip to Storyland and the drive home would be too much after a day in the park, so we wanted to stay the night at a local hotel. This resort is only 10 minutes away from Storyland. The room accommodation that we chose was perfect for us. We booked the Deluxe Queen Suite ($50 more than a regular room, and WELL WORTH IT). There was a nice bathroom with two sinks, private bedroom, decent sized living (slightly dated furniture) and small kitchenette (fridge, freezer, stove, microwave). With a toddler, we needed the separate bedroom to put to bed early and still be able to enjoy some parental downtime. There was a little balcony that was nice. The small downsides: I will say there were a few cosmetic blemishes (peeling paint, multiple cobwebs, broken picture frame). Some things like mentioned above were slightly outdated like the sofa/chair, but overall for the accommodations we had, I could easily live with these. We did have a room across from the pool and I was worried about the noise, but it wasn't much more than expected (some "stomping" heard, likely from kids running around, but it wasn't bad). If we needed a hotel to stay at after a Storyland visit, we would definitely stay here again!

Good stay at the Grand Summit Hotel Attitash, clean and comfortable with enough parking. Nice playground for kids, which makes it family-friendly. Close to Attitash Mountain, North Conway, and Mount Washington for easy exploring.
Jobin M — Google review
It's such a nice serene hotel! The staff was very nice and friendly. The rooms were a bit dated but clean. Just know there are no USB ports and not many outlets. My kids loved the pool and hot tub areas. It's so nice that they have fire pits and complimentary s'mores goodies. We definitely return!
Jodi M — Google review
I never write reviews but I had to for this hotel because when it comes to sleeping in hotels I am very picky. (Not "Karen level" picky, I don't yell and complain to the staff, but if a hotel isn't up to great standards I just won't stay there again) I had a hotel booked in North Conway. I have stayed there before so I know the quality. Then I came across Attitash Grand Summit. I was very skeptical about the price. $99 for a room seemed too good to be true but I decided to give it a try for our family trip. We were going there for my sons birthday. We opted to upgrade and book the one bedroom which also had a loft and 2 bathrooms for $129 per night. When we arrived and walked into the lobby, I was happy so far with our choice. The young man at the desk was great. We got to our room and said Wow! when I walked in. It had a full kitchen and dining table with 6 chairs, couch, love seat, chair and tv, lots of closet space, 2 bathrooms ( one had a double sink which came in handy), the downstairs room had a queen bed. Go upstairs to the loft and it had a king bed, bathroom, dresser, closet and tv. It was also very clean! Both beds and pillows were comfortable. Pool towels were left for us in our room. Both Bathrooms had plenty of towels. The staff was always helpful! When we wanted to go out and use the fire pit the woman at the front desk was so kind, had maintenance go out immediately and light it for us and also handed us a bag of make your own s'mores. The pool was so big! We never felt crowded in it even with lots of other families in it. Two hot tubs which were so relaxing to use in the evening as well as the sauna. Decent gym even though we didn't use it. My son loved the arcade. Im reading these other reviews of guests saying they were told none of the rooms have AC which is not true. Our room had an air conditioner. Im shocked reading some reviews. We didn't have bugs, mosquitoes and ticks in our room which some guests say. Its probable that these guests got tick and mosquito bites outside considering its NH and there's so much to do outside, in the woods and its surrounded by mountains but I feel people always need to blame someone or something else. I didn't encounter one rude staff member for our entire stay. If we needed something, whether it was a band aid, change for the arcade or how to get to the pool, everyone was kind and helpful. Some of these reviews about the supposed "bad service" makes me wonder how the guests treated the staff in the first place so they just leave a bitter review. I 100% recommend this hotel and will choose this for our NH stays in the future because we go every summer and occasionally the winter for skiing .

Grant's Shop 'n Save is a charming, family-owned grocery store with a hometown feel and warm hospitality. Despite its small size, it offers a wide range of products including fresh produce, meats, seafood, deli items, bakery goods, and all the essentials. Customers appreciate the convenience of finding everything they need locally without having to make a longer trip to North Conway. The store also features Hannaford brand products and has been praised for its friendly and helpful staff.
Great staff, excellent selection of food and other household items. Sometimes items here are more expensive than other stores but it’s not bad for a very small supermarket.
Doug T — Google review
I've been going to this area since I was a kid and never knew this was a supermarket. I thought it was a convenience store. They had everything we needed and the staff were helpful & very friendly. If you're looking to cook instead of eating out (which is cheaper), this would be the place to shop if your in Jackson, Bartlett, or up in that area. Instead of traveling all the way back to N. Conway, where there are 2 supermarkets
Elizabeth J — Google review
Overall the supermarket is fine. The selection is not extra nice - there are some wine options, some vegetables and fruit but e.g cheese selection is very poor. The beer and cider selection could be better also. Thr selection of canned stuff/sauces and other processed food is wider. The staff at the till are extra conservative with their age checks for selling alcohol so be sure to have your ID with you even if you are 30
Alexey S — Google review
Smaller grocery store, but has everything. Produce and meats are local with reasonable prices. The staff has always been friendly. A great choice when you don't want to go into town or deal with crowds.

Very cute grocery. They sell Hannaford brand items and carry everything you need. We had to spot check a free forgotten items and I got everything quickly. The staff was very pleasant. Tiny little shop but if they don’t have it, you don’t need it.
Elise S — Google review
What a nice local supermarket. It has all the basics that you would want at a reasonable price. Staff was very helpful and made sure we got everything we were looking for. Nice to see a small supermarket with old style service.
Russ H — Google review
The friendliest and most helpful staff that we have ever experienced. Also, everything we needed, clean and organized. They make great use of their space. Employees are amazing! Helpful, knowledge, smiling and made us smile.
Beth G — Google review
They have a rather large selection of groceries, wine, and beer for such a small establishment. Reasonable prices, too. The stated prices are valid for everyone, and no loyalty card is required. Friendly employees, lots of parking in front and on the side of this store.
