Clark's Bears is a nostalgic seasonal amusement park that has been entertaining families for over 90 years. The park offers steam train rides, a trained bear show, a waterpark, and various attractions for visitors of all ages. Although some activities may be closed during the autumn season, the gift shop provides an opportunity to purchase local souvenirs and treats like maple candy.
I’ve gone here since I was like 2, I’m 22 now, and love bringing my little brothers still, and will bring my children when I have them. I love the charm of the place, the bear show, the train ride, the wolf man, the cute shops, all of it will never get old. They also have one huge water slide too that you get a bit wet on, but can still wear normal clothes/shoes
Max — Google review
Awesome time at Clark's bear! The circus act was amazing and hilarious and jaw dropping. The bears are adorable. Darla with her sassy pants and Heidi with her two leg walk with a purse. Fantastic time! Thank you!!
Naysa P — Google review
Absolutely loved it! A perfect watt to spend a day. The whole place is so uniquely designed, from the ice cream parlor to the gift shop. The bears were so smart & clearly very loved & it was astounding to watch them. The circus actors were unbelievable. Train ride was fun, more for kids though. But the whole place was impressive & beautiful. We will definitely be back.
Melissa B — Google review
This is a fun place for little ones. The bear show was fun and entertaining. The Wolfman in the woods kept the kids looking for him as the train rolled on. The food was good and prices reasonable. The adults enjoyed walking through the museums. Something for everyone.

Clark’s Trading Post aka Clark Bears is a fun little park north of Woodstock, New Hampshire. It has been there for since I was a little kid. The park is fun. There is plenty of parking into his wheelchair accessible. The employees are all friendly and great staff getting into the park takes 30 seconds The little kids have fun. There is a water ride. My favorite for adults was the Segway That I’ve never been able to try anywhere else. I love taking the train and being chased. If you’re near Lincoln, New Hampshire check this place out.

But it’s mostly for kids and it doesn’t change year to year, so it’s a one and done or one and maybe once again if you have young kids. The price isn’t too bad given that many activities are included, but definitely not all. Lots of things cost extra but it’s all optional. They have some very cool museums that they keep in excellent condition. Limited snacks available. Don’t plan to eat if you have any allergies. They have a large gift shop. Everything is expensive it hey, it’s tourist stuff. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Lots of restrooms available and it’s pretty mobility friendly, with the exception of some rides, like the train, which requires steps. Though, they might even have a wheelchair lift that I didn’t notice. They are good about things like this. Worth a visit if your budget allows.
Karen C — Google review
A train ride over a covered bridge and into the wolf man territory was loved by my 4 year old. If you sit near the train engine, it can be loud for sensitive people. I recommend bringing a snack and drink on the train ride. The snake slide is so fun, and a little wet. There are lunch and snack options throughout. I like the gift shop, purchased shirts and a pop gun for my son. We spent about 3 hours here. The park is clean, not extremely big and easy to walk. Bathrooms were well kept.
Deanna D — Google review
We took two kids aged 6 to 8. Everyone had a great time and we let the kids decided what to see and they were happy with the options. Rock climbing, Blaster Boats, Merlins Magical Mansion, waterslide, circus and bear show.

Nestled in the White Mountains, Franconia Notch State Park offers a diverse range of activities for nature enthusiasts. From swimming and skiing to hiking and canoeing, there's something for everyone. The park is home to the northern half of Franconia Notch, where visitors can take a scenic trip up Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway for breathtaking mountain views.
This is an absolute gem! Such a gorgeous park. Lots of hiking. Tons of waterfalls. Mountain views. At times you feel like you’re out west! Less crowds. I mean, things can get crowded but nothing like other area I’ve been to.
Katie R — Google review
We had a great visit to the summit of Cannon Mountain on the Aerial Tramway. The operator gave an interesting commentary on the way up. The views were amazing and we were very lucky with the weather. Highly recommend the short loop trail at the top and visit to the tower. Please note this facility we be closing on 26th October 2025 as they are replacing the cable cars. The guide said it may take up to 2 years.
Neil C — Google review
One of the best state parks you will ever visit. Trails are very well maintained. The visitor center, though not huge or elaborate, is very nice, clean, and informative, even with a food area and gift shop. There is sufficient parking close to the visitor center. Excellent public state park. Well done. Beautiful views, scenery, and nature.
Kenneth B — Google review
Beware the rapid weather changes and bring hiking essentials! Beautiful, but many hikes can be tougher than you might realize. Check your maps so you don't end up halfway up the wrong trail
A M — Google review
Great place to visit! Nice loop walk on well maintained walks and boardwalk alo b g the dificul part of the trail. Lots of steps to climb but not very difficult of about 2.5 miles. Ample free parking. Trails are well Marquez. Prices are reasonable.
Desi M — Google review
We went to the park a week after peak foliage season. Traffic wasn't horrific, and the view kayaking on echo lake was the best. We also hiked to Lonesome lake, and watched the sunrise over the mountains from Polly's Pancake Parlor.
Andrea V — Google review
My Fiance and I got to visit the Cannon Aerial Tramway a couple of weeks before it closed to build a new tramway and if I must say the views on the mountain tops are just astonishing, he proposed to me in the mountains so it was already beautiful there but that moment just made it even more magical! If you're coming to New Hampshire in the future you have to check this place out and make your own memories, its just beautiful!

The Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway, the first of its kind in North America, is a popular attraction in Franconia, NH. It swiftly transports visitors to the 4,080-ft summit of Cannon Mountain in under ten minutes. From there, one can admire sweeping mountain vistas and even catch sight of Maine, Vermont, New York and Canada on clear days. The tramway offers access to walking trails, a cafe with scenic views and an observation deck.
Enjoyed this attraction on a pleasant Wednesday morning. There was no waiting to get our tickets, and the tram ride is a lot of fun. There are restrooms, a cafeteria style restaurant, and adult beverages available at the top. We took the short hike to the observation tower, which was very enjoyable. Views were spectacular! The hike itself is rather rugged and not appropriate for people with mobility issues. New Hampshire senior citizens ride for free on weekdays .. as of the time we took this trip. Lots of free parking is provided. Family friendly.
Mark O — Google review
Ride it before it closes (end of fall 2025). Best way to see spectacular views from 4020’. Cafeteria and bar at summit lodge provides warm and dry location to check out the sights. Short (less than 1 mile) trail to the observation tower provides 360 degree views, when not obscured by clouds. Runs every 15 minutes so if there’s a long line, wait for the next, be the first in line and go for the back (was front when came in) for best views. Small benches on either end of car but otherwise most people stand. 5-10min trip to summit.
Chase S — Google review
What a wonderful experience with my boyfriend and his family. The ride up was a little crowded but when we got to the top the views were amazing!!! We did the rim walk and was amazed with the views.Make sure you were sneakers. The in-laws stayed behind at the cafe. The ride down was a little better more room
Marissa L — Google review
What a cool experience for us and the kids!! My 7yo was a little apprehensive at first but everyone was so friendly and happy that it really made our time here special.. didn't know what to expect but once we got to the top and saw the views we were hooked. The restaurant up there is neat we even got a beer to enjoy after our little walk. 10/10
Ryan B — Google review
We rode the Cannon Aerial Tramway for the first time and had a blast! There are two cable cars, and the operator mentioned that both are set to retire in October 2025. At the summit, there's a cozy gift shop and a restaurant with great food and views. Just a five-minute walk from the top takes you to the Observatory Tower, which offers stunning panoramic views. The whole experience was really fun and memorable! Plenty of parking and the ticket was $28 for adult.
Cykard 4 — Google review
The staff were wonderful. Robin was our tram driver only the way up Cannon Mt. she was very knowledgeable of the area and the history of the tram. She made the short ride to the top even better. On the trip down we had Tim who was just as awesome and knowledgeable. The views were stunning! I could have spent the whole day there. The Rim trail has a bit of an incline and some rocky spots. But the views are worth every step. The air even smells different walking through the trees. The trail is well marked and about 1/4 of a mile long to the Observation Tower . There is a shorter option to the tower as well. Still a bit of an incline but if you take your time you won’t regret putting in the effort to get to the top. It’s beautiful 🤩
Katie G — Google review
Gorgeous views! It's a family friendly aerial tram ride that takes you all the way up to the mountain. You go really high and can get a bird's eye view of the lake and mountains all round. This is a slow ride that's safe for everyone from babies to seniors. The views are especially more beautiful during the fall. One tram takes you to the top and you can get down and you are free to roam around the mountain top as long as you need and can get an aerial tram down. Once we were dropped off at the top, we only had to wait 10 min for the next tram that will take us down.
Varna V — Google review
Breathtaking experience! We went up slightly post-peak color near the end of the season. The staff were great and very informative. We got lunch at the summit. Food was good. Hike up to the observation tower - the views are incredible!

Alpine Adventures is a mountain park offering a range of thrilling activities such as off-road safari tours, snowmobile rides, ziplining, and an aerial course. The park features three miles of ziplines, including some that are as high as 100 feet above the forest floor and reach speeds of 75 miles per hour.
I took my family here this morning for the off road tour, it was a surprise for my mom’s birthday and we’ve never done anything like it before. When we showed up Emily greeted us and jokingly told us it was her first day so we better buckle up lol. The ride was super fun and we all had a blast, even the 4yr old! When we stopped to hang at the summit, we had a delicious trail side snack of ants and spruce tips. My kids are now obsessed with eating ants, thanks Emily 🤣🤣 It was an amazing experience and we’ll definitely be back!

Great morning of off-road fun on the side by sides! Chad was awesome! Great personality and made our first timer friends very comfortable! It was a blast! Highly recommend it….wish we could have stayed all day!

We can’t wait to go back. We did the intermediate zip-lining course. We felt very safe with the equipment and the guides knew what they were doing. The staff was super friendly and fun, especially the Brodels.
Jason R — Google review
Excellent place. We had a ton of fun over the weekend. Came in for 2 activities (the climbing thing and the simple zip line) and ended up coming 4 times for more things. Highly recommend the Timberland Zip Line - it is exceptional for families of fitting size. The Staff is really knowledgeable, friendly and funny and 100% contributed to the good time we've had. Highly recommend booking in advance.
Alexey S — Google review
All the staff were very thorough in explaining the safety so all participants could enjoy themselves and return to base safe. We did the smaller of courses because it was my wife's first time.

Brendan, Alex and Sam were our guides and were super friendly and helpful. We had a great time. Reservation required.

I went with my daughter Columbus day morning. . We did the super Zipline tour. It was great. The views were awesome, the zip lines were a ton of fun. The staff was also fantastic. Kept the group moving along. They were professional and funny at the same time. We will be back in the spring.

Update.. we came back 2 weeks later with the family and did the tour with Trey. He was very kind. My daughter is a double amputee and she was not rushed to climb up and get in the truck.. Kids were entertained (that's hard to do with a 5 and 7yr old lol) they loved it.. another 5 star Alpine keep doing what you're doing your staff is awesome Chad was an amazing instructor for our side by side we had so so much fun. I was nervous to drive but he gave me the confidence I needed to give the last lap a try.. I just wanted to go again and again lol this is a must do..

Flume Gorge, located in Franconia Notch State Park near Lincoln, is a must-visit natural attraction offering stunning mountain and waterfall views. The 2-mile loop trail takes visitors through the gorge, past covered bridges, and to overlooks with breathtaking vistas. The Gilman Visitor Center provides information about the area. A trip up Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and a chance to see where the Old Man of the Mountain once stood.
Breathtaking views and an enjoyable hike! Flume Gorge is absolutely stunning! The trail is well-maintained and perfect for most skill levels—easy enough to enjoy without too much effort, but with just enough stairs and inclines to keep it fun. The waterfalls, moss-covered granite walls, and scenic boardwalks through the gorge were like walking through a real-life postcard. The glacial boulder was a cool bonus, and the entire loop was a great mix of nature and light adventure. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the White Mountains—don’t forget your camera!
Trevor D — Google review
Absolutely stunning… unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Even though the water level was low, it was still amazing and highly recommended. Kids are able to do the trail pretty easily. About 2.75-3 miles depending on what side trails you explore along the way. Lots of stairs (watch claims 30+ flights) but it doesn’t seem bad because it’s so great to look at.
Chase S — Google review
Took our time (about three hours) navigating all the trails to maximize our experience. While the weather wasn't great, we had pockets where it got better. Other hikers were super friendly and we had many great conversations. Highly recommend!
George H — Google review
Review: The Flume Gorge—Where History Meets High Peaks The Flume Gorge, nestled within Franconia Notch State Park, is less a hike and more a journey through geological time. It is easily one of New Hampshire's most spectacular natural wonders, a perfect blend of rugged alpine scenery, fascinating human history, and breathtaking natural beauty, especially when framed by the fiery hues of autumn. The gorge's formation is a magnificent historical story: roughly 200 million years ago, molten rock cooled and fractured. Later, softer basalt dikes intruded into these fractures. When the Ice Age ended, massive glaciers melted, and the sheer force of the meltwater preferentially eroded the weak basalt, carving the "slot" we walk through today. You can still see colossal glacial erratics—huge, isolated boulders deposited randomly by the receding ice—which serve as silent reminders of the mile-thick sheet that once covered the land. Waterfalls, Rivers, and Rustic Charm The trail is defined by the life-giving force of water. At the far end of the flume, the roaring, 45-foot Avalanche Falls marks the location of one of the gorge's most famous tales: the massive, egg-shaped boulder that hung suspended between the walls until a great storm in 1883 swept it away. Below the main attraction, the circuit brings you to the picturesque Flume Covered Bridge, one of the oldest in the state, which spans the mighty Pemigewasset River. The vibrant red of the bridge, set against the swift currents of the river, is a highlight of the entire 2-mile loop. Peak Natural Beauty and Fall Colors While the moss-covered, dark granite walls hold a stark beauty year-round, visiting the Flume Gorge in autumn elevates the experience to truly unforgettable status. The fall colors are simply stunning, creating a dramatic contrast between the muted, ancient stone and the blazing canopy overhead. Every turn—from the cascades of Liberty Gorge to the views looking out over the Franconia Notch—is painted in brilliant shades of crimson, gold, and orange. Rest assured , the Flume Gorge offers a unique and highly accessible experience. It is a must-see for anyone seeking a deep connection with the raw natural beauty and ancient geological history of the White Mountains.
Santosh M — Google review
Stunning geological feature and an enjoyable walk. The trail is fairly easy and there is a viewing area if you don't want to walk it. The gorge is fascinating and strikingly beautiful. It can get very busy and the trails may be packed with people.
Quinn S — Google review
This was a great 2 mile hike! I’d recommend it to anyone. Wasn’t a hard hike. Many Beautful views. There is the full flume gorge hike which I’ve heard is amazing as well. Enjoy!
Amanda C — Google review
Very beautiful place , it's a natural wonder! Its about 2 miles back and forth and takes almost 2 hrs to enjoy but you can spend more time if you like. Don't bring any open food or plan to eat there, it will attract bear. Lot of stairs and good hike with awesome views. Must see!
Manny A — Google review
Great views of the waterfall , nice and cool by the river/stream during summer. It is about a mile uphill and has some well maintained wooden stairs around the gorge . It is about a mile back down from the gorge that is mostly downhill. For a novice/casual hiker in my 50's with a bad ankle it was hard but manageable.

Water & Amusement Parks
Whale's Tale Waterpark is a popular family-friendly aquatic park in New Hampshire, offering a variety of attractions for all ages. Visitors can enjoy a wave pool, lazy river, cabana rentals, and an array of thrilling water slides. The park caters to young children with shallow waters and gentle rides like the Beluga Boggin, while older kids and teens can seek thrills in attractions such as The Eye of the Storm.
My wife, 11 year old granddaughter, and I had a great time. Lines were not bad for a Saturday in July, and there seemed to be plenty of lifeguards/attendants. We brought a cooler with lunch and drinks and were able to bring it inside with us. We even brought our own chairs, although there were plenty available early in the day. We also found a shaded spot to put our chairs and towels. All in all, it was a great day.
Jim B — Google review
The entry fee was $50 per person for under a group of four The hours of operation are 10 AM to 5 PM Would I return yes? Would I recommend to try at least once yes You do not have to print your tickets a scan the QR code They do have food on site, but I recommend highly that you bring your own food. It is not very appetizing and for a large pizza it’s $28. You are allowed to bring in coolers and food and drinks just no glass This is a great waterpark in a sense that you can use it as just lounging. There’s plenty of free chairs to sit in shade or sun not overcrowded, but as for thrillseeking, this does not have any thrill seeking to it. I didn’t find the waterslides to be anything I wanted to go on more than once but I did stay from 10 to 5 using the pools the lazy river and people watching the atmosphere was great. It was not overcrowded.

What a great day at the Waterpark! Anna was so patient explaining how to surf with our kids. We couldn't have done it without her. They quickly got the hang of it. Hopefully her toe feels better soon.

a great place for the whole family to enjoy a water park in the mountains of New Hampshire. it is not overly large, has a few water rides, heated swiming pools, hot tubs, and places to eat. very laid back and controled admissions means it is never over crowded. best bet is to pre purchase tickets online, that way you do not get turned away at the door.
Craig L — Google review
Was pleasantly surprised! Took our two boys (ages 7 and 13) there not expecting it to be a hit. Got there when it opened and secured a cabana by the wave pool. They had nice live music, the rides were great, and the place was super clean. From the road it doesnt look like much, but once you get in there it is a blast! The lazy river was very relaxing, and they have three big hot tubs for hanging out as well. For little kids, they have little spray attractions with pirate ships and wading pools. The wave pool was a big hit as well. I love that you can bring your own food and coolers, too. We will be back!

Went back to whales tale for the first time in over 25yrs and brought my 11yr old daughter who had a blast...loved the lazy river..wave pool was awesome...and the double rider slides were a hit...place was very clean..staff were awesome...Will definitely be back

Went as part of a large group. Informed to enter at the group entrance but then had to call and ask someone to come let the group in. Kids were extremely happy with the park itself. Clean, plenty of lifeguards and amble seating. I gave three stars because we attended on August 1st and one dining option was closed. The other dining option had chicken tenders, fries, hot dogs and burgers. Salads were listed but none in the cooler. When I asked about the salads the worker said they were out. When I explained that I was gluten free and had hoped for a salad to eat, she told me there was one left and I could have it. Not impressed that dining does not have all that is listed as selling, especially since it was still the height of summer.

So much fun. Just had a son(11yrs)and mom day and was perfect. Not big or too small . We loved the wave pool, Cabana we rented, wave surfing and waterslides. Love how you can bring your own cooler in. Place was nice and clean too

Ice Castles in North Woodstock, just a short drive from Lincoln, is a must-visit winter attraction. The hand-placed icicles create a stunning castle with a lighted forest walk and horse-drawn wagon rides. Despite the long lines, the colorful ice structures and igloo bar are worth seeing. The area offers various activities like tubing down the hill, sleigh rides, and even has food and drinks available for purchase. It's an experience that's definitely worth dressing warmly for!
Beautiful work and it’s different each year! Stay as long as you’d like for the day (they open at 4pm EST and be mindful of the crowds). Tubing, ice slides, the castle is multi level, has all kinds of beautiful photo spots, ice thrones as well as sculptures, & they have some food trucks and fit pits to warm up around. There’s also a cool sleigh ride pulled by Belgian horses (beautiful gentle giants!) for an additional charge. Been here a couple of years and it’s always a great time. Busier than you’d expect, but absolutely worth the experience!

If you haven't been, you gotta go once. Easy flow in and out of the large parking lot, free by the way. Neat exhibits and a 1/4mile stroll through a very cool 'enchanted forest'. They have food, drink (no alcohol), a bunch of stuff you can buy. Definitely, kid friendly, bring good boots and dress very warm.

First time here and we absolutely loved it! We were hesitant on doing it at night (with the cold weather) but it was better than we expected. The lights were amazing and the kids loved every corner. We spent about an hour here just taking photos and drinking hot chocolate. The kids slide was really fun too. Next time we will look into the sleigh ride. We went at 8pm on a Wednesday and it was very calm. We were really able to enjoy all of the views. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The majestic Ice Castles is such a magical place in New Hampshire! ❄️ I recommend every family and friend group to visit the Ice Castles simply to enjoy all they have to offer. Personally, after checking the website and actually going in person, I was shocked with the surprises not mentioned on the website like the light show walk through. The light show was so peaceful and whimsical. There was not one moment I was bored or not blown away by all that was so beautifully crafted or designed for all to see and experience. The check in process was smooth, the ice sculptures were spectacular, and the icicles were astonishing in their own creative way. The only thing I would say is to be careful of pathways that aren’t paved the best to prevent falls. Many of those around my friend and I fell due to the low lighting at night and pathways that were fairly slippery. Which also means you should wear winter boots that provide exceptional traction and warmth throughout your visit. Be sure to enjoy some snacks, chill by the fire to warm up, slide down the ice slide, glide down the snow tubing lanes, and of course take all the photos that you can! Above all, Ice Castles has something to enjoy at every age and it’s totally worth your visit! 😊

The Ice Castle is a mesmerizing destination that captivates both kids and adults alike. The intricate ice sculptures and glowing lights create a magical ambiance that feels straight out of a winter fairy tale. A highlight is the slides, designed to entertain visitors of all ages—fun for children and a delightful touch for adults wanting to embrace their inner child. To enhance the experience, I recommend trying the 10-15 minute sled ride, available for $25. While it’s not particularly adventurous or thrilling, it offers a pleasant and family-friendly activity, perfect for creating cherished memories with kids. Overall, the Ice Castle is a fantastic outing for families, blending awe-inspiring visuals with fun activities that everyone can enjoy. Highly recommended for a unique winter adventure!

The experience was not the worst but had lots of room for improvement. The attendants throughout the location were not friendly except for the front entrance, Dave (driving the sleigh ride) and the photographer. The rest were rude or not engaged at all. Lots of drunk adults acting like idiots and throwing their trash in the nooks of the castle. Also kids damaging the ice and parents not stopping them and staff oblivious. The snow tubing area was chaos. Attendant did not give a care and people were being hit by riders coming down the hill. I would recommend avoiding that part. The lights were nice, professional photo came out well and it was overall worth the trip. It would be nice to see the management step it up in the areas mentioned.

Went on a weeknight. Pre-bought tickets for the castles and the sleigh ride, and I would definitely pre-buy everything. We had an amazing experience, and our entry time allowed us to view them in the daylight and at night. I would highly recommend seeing them at both times as they provide unique opportunities for pictures and look very different in the daylight. We had never been on a sleigh ride before, and we enjoyed the tour and lights and lanterns in the woods. It lasted about 8 minutes. There are some sledding and intertubing opportunities. We waited about 30 minutes for the two we tried, and had an absolute blast. There is a walk through the woods with amazing ice carvings, lights, and photo opportunities. My kids didn't want to go on that part, but they ended up loving the short trek and seeing all the unique displays. There are some propane fires to warm up (limited seating), and some food and beverage options. There are bathrooms and porta-potties available if needed. The bathrooms were heated. We would definitely go back if we're ever in the area at the right time. We spent about 3 hours in total, but you could spend longer if you wanted to sled or tube more.

We visited on a weekday and were impressed by the friendly and professional staff. It was our family's first time, and I was also able to bring a friend who was interested in the Ice Castles. We weren't disappointed! We enjoyed the ice tubing hill, where one of my kids, who has a fear of heights, surprisingly wanted to try tubing, and had a memorable first experience. We tried all the ice slides and also explored the magical Mystic Night Forest walk. We're already looking forward to returning next winter.

I don’t write reviews often. However this experience is worth to mention. I got a ski lesson package at Loon Mountain. My primary instructor was Steve. He was excellent! He used to practice medicine (I am a resident physician too) he gave the examples in ski like medicine . He was so kind , skillful and encouraging. Also need to mention Brendan was so nice and supportive all the time. During noon break , I was searching for a place to pray. It was so crowded ,From the staff Chef was kind enough to open for me their conference room, wait outside and walk with me to the ski area again. He was remembering my name later on , came to help me again while carrying ski equipment. Dennis was welcoming , sweet lady , very helpful. Many more nice, kind people I met here , I am sorry I don’t remember everybody’s name at this moment. I will definitely tell all my friends and family , and would love to come back (if I ever get weekend off again 😅) Thank you Loon Mountain ! Aisha

Lost River Gorge & Boulder Caves is a seasonal park in Woodstock, offering hiking, caving, and gemstone mining opportunities. It features glacial caves, a stunning waterfall, and scenic boardwalks amid mountain and river landscapes. Discovered in the early 1800s and owned by the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests, this historic attraction is perfect for families to visit during summer and fall.
Our family loved the gorge and caves. We’ve been to NH a few times, but our kids are on the younger side so this was a first for us. The boardwalk is not only a great help to get through the gorge, its craftsmanship is amazing. The hand railings are rounded and smooth, and we were even able to chat with one of the carpenters on our visit as he installed a new section of boardwalk. The caves themselves are not really caves in the traditional sense, rather the negative space between boulders and the earth & other boulders. That didn’t detract from their awesomeness as it’s amazing to think that these giant boulders were moved by ice. We spent about 2 hours going through the caves and doing the extra loop through the suspension bridge. My boys tried a few caves more than once and even made it through the Lemon Squeeze! The main building looks newer, is very clean and comfortable. There isn’t somewhere to sit in the shade, but we weren’t there long enough to really miss that’s however, if you brought a lunch or had someone in your party who needed to wait this one out, there are some picnic tables surrounding the main building.

There are a few places in NH that I had been wanting to visit, this was one of them. I wasnt sure how it was going to be, because at first I thought it was a hike but its more like a Museum so there is a entrance fee but it was well worth it. I kind of wish I brought my little nieces and nephews because all this time I was focus on the waterfall and bridges but there were so many unique crevasse and caves, that aspect of the exploration was a unique adventure they would have absolutely loved. It was not to difficult in the walking (I am a big guy), but there are alot of steps and inclines but its tolerable. Also love some of the unique wood carvings on the additional rites as well. There is also a rich history which was refreshing to learn about that I want to go back and study some more. Parking is a little tricky, there is alot of parking but it does get somewhat packed. Overall nice experience, worth a stop if your in the area.

Really awesome hike with tons of bear caves. The trail is fairly challenging with a LOT of stairs, so be mindful if that's not your jam. The views were gorgeous and so were the water features. My thirteen year old son and I had a blast!

I had a wonderful time exploring the caves and seeing a lot of waterfalls. Absolutely beautiful place very well maintained. The walkways were very nice. The scenery is beautiful. Highly recommend for families. The kids will love exploring the caves!
Courtnie — Google review
Well maintained and safe platforms and trails throughout. A lot to see. Very physical so not a great option for those with limited mobility but if you are in good shape, it’s a really cool place! Highly recommend for families but note that the gorge is quite steep and you’ll want to keep children close because there are plenty of natural hazards for those boundary-pushing tikes.
Molly W — Google review
Absolutely my favorite gorge in the area. Nice, long boardwalk all the way up the gorge. Great place for kids to explore caves and tunnels. Agile and somewhat physically in shape adults too. If you’re trying to decide this place or Flume, this place is much better and funnier. Cost’s more but it’s worth it.
Patrick A — Google review
We had a blast visiting here. We did all but 1 of the caves. At 6' tall it wasn't happening. Lots of solid built stairs leading all around the boulders. Great platforms for some nice scenery shots, especially the large nest at the end. A great place to visit during a hot day. The temps are much better in and around the caves. Such a peaceful place to visit. Nice clean restrooms in the main building along with a gift shop. I highly recommend visiting this place.
Joseph C — Google review
We had an amazing time, (2 adults, a 2yo, and a 6yo) we felt that the stairs, boardwalks and caves were very well maintained and that alone seemed worth the ticket price. We felt safe the whole route, staff seemed to be present and floating around. There were first aid kits periodically and everything was well marked. Our 2yo had to be carried on and off through the boardwalk but we anticipated that. Roughly 1000 steps through the gorge and boulder caves and we did it in about an hour. We skipped some of the caves due to our size as grown-ups but there were plenty that we were able to make. If my 6yo was a little older or more adventurous she may have been able to do more. But we had fun nonetheless!! It's a very cool experience, family friendly and I would definitely recommend! I'd suggest good shoes and long pants for the best experience and be willing to bear crawl a bit!

Guests have praised the friendly and knowledgeable staff, particularly highlighting their expertise in guiding novices through wine tastings. The winery's cozy atmosphere and top-notch hospitality make it a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts.
My friends and I stopped by Seven Birches for a wine and cider tasting, and we had a fantastic time! The place is super cute and has a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. We tried the cider along with a mix of reds and whites, paired with a tasty mini meat and cheese snack. One cool feature is that you can view the cellar on the level below, near the restrooms. Our server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, giving us great insights into our selections. If you're looking for a chill spot to unwind, this is definitely the place to go!

After visiting a few New Hampshire sights, we were looking for a winery to try and relax a bit. Seven Birches had something for both my husband and I. I tasted wine and he tried a flight of ciders. We enjoyed both and the ambience of the tasting room. This is a lovely area to visit and this place was a great finale.

Decent place and wine, purchased two bottles of reds (Pinot Noir & Cabernet Sauvignon). The minute I entered I was greeted with a welcome but the person quickly checked my wrist to see what kind of watch I was wearing (Garmin) (don’t want to say who and yes I saw that look she gave me lol). FYI, I was in my hiking attire as well lol. Right after the welcome and how can I help you? was pretty much like hurry up are you going to buy something attitude but in a nice way, So I asked for some tasting for two white and reds so I can purchase some bottles to go back home to NYC, so she nicely served me two whites and red to taste without telling me. Yay, I guessed all of them and her face expression changed, right away. I asked for the two reds and checked out. Point of this review.. I run 3 Bar Restaurants in NYC so please don’t judge, I would never do that to someone. For the wine.. it’s decent for the shop price and interior is nice but too judgmental. Maybe it was the personality or something. My first experience over there was just okay.

Wife and I stopped in for a scheduled Tasting with the Wine Maker. They are moved into their new home and I want to say I was blown away by their new facilities and the wine was good as well. We are sweet wine drinkers and the Strawberry and Blueberry were fantastic. They also have a sweet apple but it was not available for tastings. I would recommend the Wine Maker tour as you get to see behind the scenes as well as some history on them as well as souvenir glass each. We stayed for a glass and a slushy afterwards and some extra chatting. I see a fantastic future for them in this location.

The wines were different than what we expected but in a very pleasant way. Brian served us a flight and was super friendly and knowledgeable. Kamila was an absolute joy to converse with and had a ton of knowledge about local places to visit as well sharing other places to visit around the country. You must absolutely stop in here in you're visiting the area!
Andrew S — Google review
Cute little tasting room and gift shop, all connected to the beautiful hotel, and also part of Rhythm Cider next door, which we went to afterwards for lunch. This was for a ladies weekend, just my friend and I, and this was a great stop. They have wine slushies and if it were a hot day, I would've really enjoyed those! The wine was great, the hostess was knowledgeable about the wines, which was really helpful. Everyone was super friendly and the place was immaculate! We didn't have reservations, but were seated immediately. They have some charcuterie board type foods to order, but we knew we were having lunch soon, so we passed. I always love a tasting room that offers food! They did give us some oyster crackers and water to cleanse our palates between wines, and that is what set them apart to being 5 stars, because some places won't do this. Would recommend and will return!

Georgiana Falls is one of the iconic trails in the Lincoln area, offering a challenging yet rewarding hike. The trail spans 3.44 miles with an ascent of 847 feet and is well-marked with red markers for most of the way. While it becomes a bit unclear towards the top, the views are stunning, featuring several waterfalls that make it worth the effort. The hike is mostly uphill but offers beautiful scenery and opportunities to cool off by swimming along the river.
❄️Highly recommended! Super snowshoeing experience! Narrow but only moderately difficult until the end where it’s a bit steep. Not much parking (3-4 spots) but okay.

3.44 miles, 847 ft ascent. Most of the trail is well marked with red markers. Toward the top the trail it becomes a little unclear. We stopped and turned around, maybe with 400 ft left as the trail seemed to be nonexistent, or maybe the maps we were using were older and it has been shortened. Very nice overall, views towards the top with several waterfalls. One time thing for us but glad we did it.
Matthew D — Google review
Amazing hike with gorgeous scenery. The hike keeps getting strenuous as you keep going higher. So be prepared. The only down side is that it needs better markers so hikers don't get lost.
Amish B — Google review
It's a great hike. I would rate it moderate for kids. Was definitely a challenge for mine but we enjoyed it. The extension to Harvard Falls is much steeper and more challenging. The falls are nice but the trail peters out just after the falls and should be better marked.

The hike was definitely tough, pretty much all uphill. However the views were so worth it! Make sure you're paying attention to the red markers, you can make it all the way to the last waterfall by following the river and it's beautiful. You can swim along the way to cool down on hot days.

Cafe Lafayette is a charming American eatery located in a restored train with a vintage atmosphere. The cafe offers seasonal opening hours and features additional seating upstairs. Visitors can enjoy stunning views, especially during snowy weather. The brunch menu may be limited, but it offers excellent options such as the Eggs Benedict served with the best croissant ever tasted. Despite small portion sizes, the food is delicious, with pub fries being highly recommended.
We have been on other dinner trains over the years. We thoroughly enjoyed the ride and the food was delicious. The portions (sm/med) are just right for this type of venue. Our server was very sweet and attentive. We chose to sit up in the dome car. But I honestly think the window sizes and a clearer view was better on the main floor. However, the trade off was the cushy comfy seats in the dome area.

The experience altogether was beautiful and romantic! I think everyone should do it at least once in their lives. The food wasn’t fantastic, but it was good. The staff was very nice! The parking was crammed. One side of the train has the sunset. Apparently, you might be seated with another couple and the seats aren’t spacious enough for two people elbow room. Luckily, my husband and I had our own booth, so we didn’t have to deal with that. The atmosphere is nice the way the set up the table with the flowers and candle and play the classy music.
Karen K — Google review
We sat in the Dome car. I was comfortable, but very noisy din of all the people with Jazz music the whole time, so if you're sensitive to noise, consider that. The rolls are amazing with cute whipped butter, but each person should get their own butter (by the size of it) without having to ask. That being said, service was very attentive and accommodating. Salad was lovely with fresh fruit. I enjoyed the appetizers, my daughter and I each got a different one and split it so we could try two. The chicken and pork entrée were good. They actually cooked the asparagus perfectly! All the entrée came with it and mashed potatoes. The only complaint was that they served my husband's salmon entrée with skin on, and it wasn't seared, so it was slimy. Dessert that day was a nice chocolate moose and an offer of coffee.

This experience is a must if you're a fan of delicious food and the beautiful NH scenery. The staff here does an excellent job and accommodates most food allergies (make sure to mention any in the reservation). A 2 hour train ride in a 1950s dining car takes you back in time. 5 courses, all delicious, and a wide drink selection makes for an incredible evening on the rails. Thank you to the staff who served us and made us smile. We look forward to the next time.

This was a really nice experience and the food was delicious. I gave it 4 stars because I was expecting it to have some scenic views but it did not. We did cross a few bridges where you could see water below but other than that it ran parallel to the highway, we saw a junk yard, a golf course/country club, the back of people's yards, and rock faces. There is free parking. We boarded at 4:15pm and left at 5pm. The train goes forward and then in reverse, no loop. Again the food was delicious and the staff was very polite and prompt.

Yummmm!! I’ll be dreaming about the maple pumpkin bisque for days!! The butternut squash ravioli with asparagus and mashed potatoes was perfect for autumn. The roll was divine and the butter clearly handmade. The salad was refreshing and the maple vinaigrette, mmmm, good! For my birthday they even put a candle in my chocolate mousse dessert and the whole car sang to me. 😊 we sat in the dome. The roof was low, okay for the riders but looked harder for the servers. All three cars were super cute! Time period decor, great servers, and wonderful food. The scenery was gorgeous. I wasn’t by the window but kept snapping pics. It was raining but it was a great contrast to the changing leaves. Loved it! I’m recommending this to everyone I meet!! Perfect addition to our girls trip 🧡

Loon Mountain Resort is a mountaintop destination offering a variety of activities throughout the year. Originally a timber town, it now features ski trails, terrain parks, tubing runs, zip lining, and hiking in the summer. The area has transformed with former mills turned into shopping and dining spots. Visitors can also enjoy spa facilities partnered with hotels for guests' convenience. The resort offers skiing, snowboarding, Sno-Go (ice bikes), tubing, snowshoeing, and more.
Beautiful bright sunny warm spring day skiing with lotsa awesome soft snow everywhere today! ☀️ ❄️ 😃 Loon, I had a great awesome day today and previous days too skiing your entire mountain! Whew 😅 Thank goodness I was able to ski Ripsaw double black diamond trail on Sunday (as it was closed yesterday and today and won’t reopen till next season), and I skiied it multiple times over and over this past Sunday too, and it was Awesome Funness! Skiied it with no poles! Haha 🙃🤪!! Skiied your whole mountain with no poles! Sooo sooo much better-much more fun to ski with no poles with my arms up in the air the whole time while I’m going down ski trails! I’m gonna come back with my snowboard and surf snowboard your mountain also!!!! Feels sooo unbelievably awesome freeing! Live Free or Die is NH’s motto! 😃💗 The long 40 minute very scenic drive from my high mountaintop home is very much worth the long relaxing zen drive to your mountain! South Peak side is so zen relaxing to ski/snowboard, and I’ll do that side again tomorrow as stayed on the North side today. Loon, you are my last mountain (out of all the mountains I’ve skiied this season) to ski this season, and you’re an Awesome mountain in every way!!!!

Great place to take the whole family all year around. They have a small train on the property in the winter. It’s pretty cool. Takes you from one side of the resort to the other. They have plenty of activities all year long and a nice restaurant at the very top of loon Mountain, which you could take a gondola up for a price, of course. They have all sorts of other activities like downhill biking, and they have a road race for the tub every year. They also have Scottish games every year. They used to have zip lining across the river, but we used to go down and swim in the river and they never had a problem with that. There’s plenty of bathrooms and it is handicap accessible. There is plenty of parking and they are expanding it more and more every year. They were having a beer fest at one point. The glacier claves at the very top are a little claustrophobic just saying.

All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. They went far beyond what was expected. Everything was beautiful! The only thing I didn’t like was the neighbors but they couldn’t help that. We will definitely be back during the winter.

We went up the enclosed gondola and hiked down in mid September. It's a well maintained mountain resort with many new ammenities. It's really nice that they have so many year round activities. The views are spectacular and I really want to go back and mountain bike here.

This is the 4th try for hiking and resort. Two previous in NC and VT we refuse to even entertain going to those states ever! Then prepared for another lackluster experience we chose the Loon Mountain Resort. After one night we extended three more nights as I do not think we will do better. The superlatives at my disposal do not give justice to this place. Two AllTrails top US trails are within easy drive. Beautiful streams as part of vigorous hikes allowed us to forget those other places. Essentially 4 hours from Orlando by air and car we are already planning our trip back. Let me put it this way. Look at my other reviews and you will know I am the toughest of critics yet this place softened this old heart :) On my testimony book here if anywhere near.

The White Mountains, a high-elevation mountain range in New England, boast national and state parks, hiking huts, and peaks named after presidents. The area offers diverse seasonal activities and a rich history, making it an ideal destination for adventurers and nature enthusiasts. Visitors can explore cascading waterfalls, rugged peaks, charming towns, and the majestic Mt. Washington hotel.
The White Mountains are absolutely breathtaking, with towering peaks, lush forests, and crystal-clear streams that create a serene escape. We explored the famous Mount Washington, which offered panoramic views that were nothing short of spectacular. The hiking trails, like Franconia Ridge, were challenging but rewarding, and the fall foliage added a magical touch to the experience. The region is also home to charming small towns and scenic drives like the Kancamagus Highway. The only downside was the unpredictable weather at higher elevations, but it added a sense of adventure to our trip.

The mountain scenery is incredibly impressive, and even though the leaves hadn’t fully changed color when I visited, the beauty of a forest on the edge of transformation was still majestic. I was lucky to have a sunny day with manageable traffic, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A truly breathtaking destination!

Extreme winter outdoor experience in big snow country. Lots of high mountain winter camping available in this tundra rainforest if you like snowshoeing, snowmobiling and crosscountry skiing. This is an extreme outdoor adventure and not for 'the average bear.'

Visiting White Mountain in New Hampshire during the fall was truly unforgettable. The entire area transforms into a sea of vibrant colors — deep reds, bright oranges, and golden yellows everywhere you look. The scenery feels almost unreal, like stepping into a postcard. Even just driving through the region was an experience on its own — every turn revealed another gorgeous view. We drove up the mountain and although there was a long wait on the way up because parking at the top is limited, the slow climb gave us plenty of time to enjoy the incredible views along the road. The atmosphere was calm, refreshing, and incredibly scenic. If you’re looking for the best fall destination, White Mountain is absolutely worth the trip.

Pemi Valley Moose Tours offers seasonal bus tours that provide an educational and close-up experience of observing moose in their natural habitat, as well as historical sites. The experienced guides lead guests through the wilderness on a wildlife adventure, offering a rare opportunity to witness these majestic creatures. While staying on the bus for the duration of the tour, visitors are advised to dress warmly due to open top windows creating noise.
This tour was outstanding. Great humor, kind and caring hosts. Comfy bus. Saw two BIG bull moose and one smaller one with a drop antler. We also saw a bear, a bunch of deer an amazing sunset and so many stars. I sat and read the bad reviews prior to the tour and I have to giggle. Larry and Eric put on a great show, they obviously care a lot about what they do and they are great at it. The whole complaint about them “just driving on two roads” is silly, they have a method to their success which they explain in detail during the tour. This requires driving on two or three roads to get the best results, the moose are not trained performers. Just like a hunt, you’re paying the guide to put you in the best position to see one based on their data, not always a guaranteed sighting but they have a very high success rate. The store at the rest point was also great- nice country general store with a little bit of everything.

We saw 3 Moose! We'll worth the money and time! No guarantees on sightings but totally worth the go. My wife and I have been 3 times and I'd go again! The guides are awesome and informative of the areas we looked and of moose. Any one complaining don't understand the premise. These are wild animals and not farm raised for your viewing pleasure. Half the fun is the anticipation. These guys love moose and preach caution when driving through the mountain areas. I would recommend 100%

The tour guides were so energetic and even if we didn’t see a moose it still would have been fun. We saw a male and a female and it was such an amazing experience to see the beautiful creatures up close. You will also learn so much about moose you never knew before! Best $45 i’ve spent.
MacKenzie E — Google review
I really enjoyed the tour. My kids did as well. I thought the tour was going to be too long, but it went by very quickly. The hosts are excellent, and everything went smoothly. Best of all we saw several moose.
Michael P — Google review
Larry and Eric, our moose tour leaders, run an excellent, entertaining, passionate search for moose after dark. They are determined, knowledgeable and eager to give their customers à night to remember. Their jokes, videos and explanations are excellent. Even our rest stop was carefully planned at a wonderful country store. And yes! We saw magnificent moose after two hours of searching. I highly recommend this tour.

If your looking to maximize your vacation and do something in the evening you can't go wrong with the moose tour The 2 hosts really make the trip , it's a fun light hearted drive around NH and if your lucky you might see an awesome sunset and some moose. I didn't care for the old school moose video on the drive back that really put everyone to sleep but beats the radio.

Wonderful tour in the White Mountains. The guides are extremely knowledgeable, funny and dedicated to safely sighting moose who live in the area. We went last night and saw a mom and her twin babies! Highly recommend checking out the tour when you're in the area 🫎
Lena C — Google review
Did a moose tour with these guys and despite not seeing a moose, we still had an enjoyable time. Larry and Eric have a sense of humor, tried to keep positive vibes and tried their best to find a moose. They knew where the hot spots would be and circled those areas to search. We learned a lot about moose, saw some real antlers and parts from a moose, and had a built in break to stretch our legs and use the bathroom.

Mountain peak
Mt Pemigewasset is one of the iconic trails in the Lincoln area, offering a 3.3-mile moderate hike with impressive rock faces and stunning views from the summit. The trail begins near the Flume Visitor Center and takes hikers through tunnels beneath the highway before ascending to the top. The wide open summit provides ample space to relax and enjoy panoramic vistas, making it a great destination for families or anyone looking for a taste of the White Mountains.
Nice hike from the Flume north parking lot. Not for inexperienced hikers and proper footwear required.
Steve S — Google review
Like Mount Willard, there are epic views from the top… But not until then. We started at the Indian head trailhead, which was great because it’s a small parking lot and you can avoid the flume Gorge crowd, but for the first several minutes of the hike you were just passing under highways and hearing cars. You do have some nice babbling brooks on this hike and those sounds eventually takeover, but it can mean muddy sections if there was a recent rain. I would say the train was moderate, and although there is nothing strenuous, there are tricky sections. I would choose Cardigan or Welch and Dicky over this every time. I’m not a big fan of hikes where there are no views until you reach the summit.
Jim Z — Google review
Primary uphill, full of roots and rocks but absolutely gorgeous. The breeze once you reach the top, paired with the view are such a reward for the work of the hike! I wore Teva hiking sandals and the rocks and roots didn’t cause me much trouble. Can’t wait to go back in the fall to see landscape dressed in full autumnal finery.
J — Google review
Moderate trail. Steep at times. Beautiful view at the summit worth the pain. Plenty of parking at the flume gorge visitor center. Portable potty at the parking lot.
C. B — Google review
A great hike to the top. It's mainly uphill, about an hour and half from the trail head car park. You can go up to the viewing spot following the blue trail marks. You go back down the same way, it is not a loop.

A good place to get the blood flowing. It's a pretty quick hike to the summit. Round trip around 3 hrs. Or so, pending on your pace. On a clear day be ready to see some great views so bring a camera of some sort. The hike itself is not to strenuous , so it's fun for all ages, enjoy!

The Adventure Center at Loon Mountain Resort offers an array of thrilling outdoor activities for visitors. At the base of the mountain and along the East Branch Pemigewasset River, this popular summer destination features a massive climbing wall and exhilarating zip line experiences. Children as small as 40 pounds can safely test their skills on the 30-foot wall while securely harnessed. Additionally, guests can enjoy peaceful gondola rides and exciting aerial adventures.
Man, we had such a great time doing the mountain biking. We had our tour guide Dillion, who was amazing legit probably the best guide we’ve had. My son had a blast. I had a blast. Highly recommended

My friend and I tried the loon mountain climbing wall today. What a disappointing experience. The staff was on their phone the whole time. We asked for help and the woman told us that she did not know anything about climbing. The routes were poorly set and some holds were missing. Poorly run, poorly supervised and poor quality. Don’t waste your money.

First time riding the gondola with my hun! It was very peaceful, however we passed on the caves unfortunately...maybe next time! Our first Zipline and it was awesome...wish it was longer though. Shout out to the staff (Isabelle or Isabella??) that was very patient and helped me overcome my fear lol! Will definitely come back to check out other sites nearby. 🙂

The Granite State Scenic Railway offers a delightful journey through New Hampshire's picturesque landscapes, tracing the banks of the Pemigewassett River. This heritage railway, which dates back to the late 1800s, invites travelers aboard vintage passenger cars for an enchanting 80-minute ride from Lincoln to North Woodstock. Operating from late May until October and during the holiday season, it provides a nostalgic experience that captures the charm of yesteryear.
Beautiful train experience with friendly staff and lovely views. Very kid friendly! Provided a coloring page and crayons. Also snacks are available for purchase on the train ride.
Athena S — Google review
The website made the ride out to be grander than what it was. The train went about 10 mph through a wooded area by the river but also through some people's neighborhoods/backyards. There wasn't much of a history given to us by the conductor. For what we received I believe it's a bit overpriced.
Lauren B — Google review
We went on the Fall Foliage Tour. The train was fairly comfortable. We didn't see a whole lot because we sat on the wrong side of the train. We remedied that on the return trip. The food was okay at the restaurant. The soup was cold. They ran out of dessert but several minutes later they brought out another pan. Cute giftshop - especially the cat sleeping on the lounge chair. The stop at the Ashland station seemed unnecessary. It was far too crowded to walk through the station let alone see anything. I was under the impression that there would be several costumed characters walking around talking about the history of the area. There was only 1 lady who stood there for pictures with passengers. Kind of a letdown. Overall, it was a good trip. Glad we went.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Leaves, Laughter, and Surprisingly Cushy Butts" Took a rail bike ride with friends and let me tell you—it was short, but so is a shot of espresso and we still call that a good time. 🚴‍♀️💨 The ride may not have been a Tour de France marathon, but what it lacked in distance, it made up for in fall foliage fabulousness. We’re talking trees showing off like it was their last chance before winter—reds, oranges, yellows... basically Mother Nature’s version of fireworks. 🍁🔥 The staff were absolute gems—friendly, helpful, and didn't judge us for trying to race the people ahead (who were clearly not racing). Also, big shoutout to the bikes themselves: smooth ride, solid condition, and seats that didn’t feel like medieval torture devices. Honestly, my backside has never been so pleasantly surprised. Perfect little adventure if you're into great views, good vibes, and cardio. 😄
Jennifer G — Google review
It takes a lot for me to write reviews however I felt like I should make note of this. Simple rundown: 1. What seat your pick is very important as one you are staring at the water and the other you are staring into people houses the whole ride (Me and my boyfriend started rating houses at some point). 2. The pricing compared to the view of the houses is not worth it. I can take a drive and I would have had the same satisfaction. Paid $119 for two first class tickets. 3. The employees were friendly and helpful. I am usually you paid for the experience kind of gal, but the experience wasn't there unfortunately.
Emily R — Google review
Oh my gosh, what a huge waste of money. How are people giving this good reviews? The best view you’ll get on the supposed Winnipesaukee train (no, you won’t see any of the lake on it) will be someone’s old trash. There’s a reason that there are no pictures on their site: there’s nothing worth taking a picture of! I attached photos of the “views”. Save your money. Don’t bother.
Jessica L — Google review
It was a nice trip that took about 1 hours, through the woods and next to and crossing the Pemigewasset river
Kevin E — Google review
The tickets I was sent were reserved tickets, but when I got there they told me its general admission! RESERVED SEATS AND WHEN I GET THERE ITS GEBNERAL ADMISSION! I even showed her the eletronic tickets that I had on my cell, she said it didnt matter its general admission! OF COURSE IT MATTERS, ONE SIDE OF THE TRAIN IS MOSTLY TREES AND THE OTHER SIDE HAS THE BEST VIEWS, IT SHOWS THE RIVER AND MUCH BETTER VIEWS! The Train ride was 1/2 hr forward and 1/2 back, so what you just saw is still going to be what you just saw, just in reverse. WAY BETTER IN NORTH CONWAY, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ONE IN LINCOLN, NH.

This is a really nice tribute to an event that shook the world! The abduction of Betty & Barney Hill in September, 1961! Created international headlines when their story was released in the “Boston Traveler” newspaper. This marker stands on the site where Barney stopped the car and crossed the field to see the aliens up close! The actual abduction happened across the river off Rt 175 in Thornton NH! A true story ! A fascinating one.

It's exactly what it looks like…A sign along the highway. But if you love aliens and abductions then it's definitely worth the trip! It's actually really cool standing in the same spot where Betty and Barney claim to have been abducted.

During my recent adventure in New Hampshire, I had the pleasure of discovering the Pemigewasset Overlook while cruising along the renowned Kankamagus Scenic Byway. The previous night’s snowfall added a magical touch to this already stunning location, making it a perfect spot for capturing breathtaking mountain views. Despite the chill in the air, I was enchanted by the picturesque scenery and managed to snap some fantastic photos.
Some of the best use in all of New England. Take a drive here in summer to see the sunset. It is so beautiful and it’s free. Usually there is plenty of parking, but it could get a little crowded and the bugs start to come out at night motorcyclist cars all come here. it’s only a 15 to 20 minute drive from Lincoln, New Hampshire and about 35 to 40 minute drive from North Conway. No ticket needed just relaxing and enjoy the view. If you have little ones, please spray them with bug spray wheelchair accessible there are no public restrooms

When we visited New Hampshire recently, we wanted to drive on the famous Kankamagus scenic route and we found this picturesque spot en route. It had snowed the previous night, so it was chilly but beautiful. The views of the mountains were exceptional and we got some wonderful pictures. This scenic spot has parking available and was free to visit. We also checked out the Rocky Gorge scenic viewpoint on the same route and that was amazing as well!

Every angle you get to take these mountains in from is breathtaking, no matter the season or the crowds. Late Sept-early Nov is always busy with everyone wanting to see the same view. This is more of a popular spot, but patience is a virtue. On occasion there is an art class held on the adjacent lawn or under the gazebo- beautiful place to experience.

Hancock Overlook is an essential stop along the Kancamagus Scenic Byway, offering breathtaking views of the White Mountain National Forest. Whether you're visiting during the vibrant fall foliage or enjoying a summer drive, this spot provides a picturesque backdrop perfect for capturing memorable photos. While there are no picnic tables available, visitors can relax in a charming gazebo with benches to take in the scenery and learn about the area's history.

Great trail. Only caveat was that the trail has a section where you need to cross a bend or curved corner on the freeway which one takes a while for other cars to stop and is also dangerous for dogs trying to cross the road so bear that in mind. No bathrooms but good parking

Extremely crowded and the views are disappointing. In the bright sun the colors are washed out so you don't see much. Go on the weekdays and when it's cloudy and you'll enjoy the experience more. I didn't even take a picture since there was nothing to take picturea of.

Loved this scenic vista, hated how crowded it was and how bad traffic + parking was. I went mid October the day before Columbus Day & I’ll never do it again because of the traffic! Margarita has fulfilled the desires of all parents by providing a safe and entertaining environment for children at Kid's Studio Play. This concept of having a place where kids can play while parents enjoy a peaceful dinner should be more widespread. Initially, there may be some hesitation about leaving children with a stranger, but after conversing with Margarita, it becomes evident that she treats the kids as if they were her own.
Olivia’s birthday party at Kid's Studio Play WAS BEYOND AMAZING! She had the best time ever! They played Taylor Swift (her theme), helped set up, and jammed out with us! They have the best setup with a GIANT bouncy house that has a slide and basketball hoop! The other room has interactive floor games and a play slide! I 10000% would suggest them for a birthday party!

If I could give 10 stars I would. This place is perfect for kids who want to play and have a great time. Slides, bouncy house, interactive games! My kiddo is still talking about it. The owner was absolutely welcoming and prices are very reasonable.

Margarita has made every parents wish come true! What could be better than a quiet dinner while your kiddos are safe, happy and getting tired out! I’m not sure how this concept is not more wide spread. At first I was hesitant about the thought of leaving our children with a stranger but after speaking with Margarita for just a few minutes we knew she would care for them as her own. The last night of our vacation we dropped our sons off and went to One Love Brewery (also highly recommend) for a drink and apps. We can back an hour later and our boys didn’t want to leave! Margarita spent the time to go over with us how they did! We will definitely be back!!

This place is the best! Our kiddos had so much fun and we were able to have peace of mind knowing they were safe and well cared for. The owner was there and she was so engaged with making sure everyone was playing well together and no one was left out. And she was very accommodating to our specific schedule. I highly recommend making reservations as this place is popular and fills up quick on busy vacation days. Thanks Studio Play! You will definitely be part of our next trip to the mountains!

After 4 days of April vacation and most kid-friendly places being closed due to spring break, we discovered Kids Studio Play! Man was this place a lifesaver for kids and parents alike!! Mom and dad needed an hour just to unwind while the boys had to get out their energies and Margarita sure delivered with her business! I vote for a second location to open at the outlets so mom can get her shopping done. The boys had a blast, made some new friends and begged to stay longer. They loved the bouncy house and the interactive game play! Most brilliant business idea yet! Would definitely recommend!

We were visiting from out of town and found Kids Studio Play. Margarita was genuine and provided a safe play place for the kids PLUS We welcomed some time to ourselves! When we came back for pick up our kids were engulfed in play, she provided water for them and they were happy. Even though it was a short time it definitely was a highlight of fun on our trip! They didn’t want to leave 💗💗 We will definitely be going back on our next trip to Lincoln xoxo To top it off they provided some great advice on restaurants that were kid friendly and after leaving her we had a blast. Thank you Margarita and Aubrey!!

We did a 2 day rental for our son who is 2 1/2 and the guys were great at getting him in the right boots and skis and were super flexible and quick at the time of rental and return. The shop is great with easy parking!
Kristina H — Google review
Rental is cheap but in the end you don't get what you paid for. My friends have rented skis there two weekends in a row. Their selection is extremely limited and so even if you book in advance, they will probably give you skis too small or a lower quality than you paid for because they have nothing in stock. However, when you request a pair of skis of the right size they ask you to upgrade and pay more, or they will even charge you more without telling you. Unbelievable. Their skis are also used af. Look at the attached picture, they gave 140cm skis to my friend who is 172cm tall and didn't want to give her the longer skis without charging more. Borderline scam.
Hadrien G — Google review
If you're looking for a good selection of sizes for XC ski rentals, please look elsewhere. They have an extremely limited selection given the steep rental prices, and each of their skis have different bindings, which means that depending on your shoe size, you may get skis that are completely unsuitable for your height and weight. We had to compromise on a good size, and ended up with blisters. Not going to rent here again.
