Belgian Waffle Works is a popular lakeside restaurant located in Lake Arrowhead Village, offering a unique dining experience with an array of sweet and savory waffles. The restaurant features indoor and patio seating with stunning lake views, making it a favorite destination for family vacationers. Their menu includes traditional toppings like strawberries and whipped cream, as well as waffles topped with ice cream, catering to both kids and adults. Additionally, they offer vegan and gluten-free options to ensure everyone leaves satisfied.
We came by this restaurant two times in one week with a large (30+ people) family group which included many folks with walkers and wheelchairs. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. We had many folks needing vegetarian, others avoiding sugar or gluten and we were accommodated and served efficiently. The food...... terrific. The waffles were so good, including the gluten-free one. Very much recommend this place. It's also on the lakefront where you can see and feed mallard ducks and huge rainbow trout.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience here. I was having a nice day and decided to try this restaurant because the menu looked great. The hostess said the wait would be around 30 minutes, which was totally fine. Not long after joining the waitlist, I received a text saying my table was READY. When I checked in, the server told me the table actually wasn’t ready yet. I didn’t mind waiting a bit longer, but then I watched two other parties who arrived after me get seated first. Feeling confused, I asked why that was, and the answer I got was simply, “your table isn’t ready yet.” So I asked which table was mine so I could wait nearby — but shockingly, the server ignored my question, walked over to the table, and just stood there staring at me. That moment felt really dismissive and uncomfortable, especially since I was genuinely looking forward to a pleasant dining experience. It would have been much better if the text had been sent only after the table was TRUELY ready, or if my question had been acknowledged. Despite feeling disappointed, I still left a tip out of respect for the other staffs. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously — no guest deserves to be treated that way.

The view is breathtaking, and the service was awesome. They know how to make waffles and eggs. The menu is extensive. It will not disappoint.
Michelle L — Google review
There wasn’t a wait since we ate close to 2pm after our boat ride. The restaurant has a fabulous view of the lake. There’s indoor and outdoor dining. Service was friendly. Our meals came out within 15-20 mins.
Hang N — Google review
Service was crazy good. We got our food in less than five minutes for a table of four people. The food was somehow better. It’s no wonder they are busy on the weekends. Definitely my favorite place to eat in the village
Kenny L — Google review
Hmm. Great view to the lake. Service is decent. Food ....well... maybe stick to the waffles.
Tony S — Google review
Beautiful lake view, the waffles tastes excellent 👌. Good coffee too, affordable price.
Yan R — Google review
We were looking for a diner experience, and this place definitely delivered. The waffles are what they’re most well-known for, but our group ordered a variety of sandwiches. The Reuben, chicken salad sandwich, the chicken salsa sandwich onion rings and sweet potato tots. Definitely order the sweet potato tots and the Reuben!!! Everything else was ok but not worth my recommendation. Great service and not too long of a wait on a Saturday afternoon.

Pizza restaurant
LouEddies Pizza is a charming, cabinlike pizzeria located in Skyforest, California, just two miles south of downtown Lake Arrowhead. It's a top choice for pizza lovers seeking a unique culinary experience. The restaurant prides itself on using premium ingredients such as freshly kneaded dough, homemade sauce, and locally sourced herbs and spices to create mouth-watering pizzas loaded with delicious toppings.
We showed up right on time on a Saturday morning. We showed around 10-11am and line was short. By 1130- noon the line was outside of he door. Worth the drive and the wait! Crispy burnt crust was perfect!! Street level is where you order , one level down some stairs there is a bar, and one more level down stairs is an outdoor seating patio. Great space, great food, and great service. The Modern Times cold brew was a good pick me up in the AM. Can’t wait to be back.

Delicious pizzas here! Service is very efficient despite how busy they can be. We ordered over the phone on July 4 and it was about a 70 min wait. Wasn’t an issue for us cuz we were enjoying our Airbnb stay. They were on time with the takeout order. Part of me wishes we ate there cuz their downstairs outside patio was a vibe. Interested in dining in over there in the future. We loved our pizza orders and would come again. It’s 8 slices for a regular pizza. Probably would request for a larger size if you want to share it with others. Would assume they have that option. Just wish our BBQ Chicken pizza didn’t come out burnt. Will give them the benefit of the doubt. They were busy. BBQ Chicken: 4.5/5 Margarita Pizza: 4/4

Handmade pizza served up in the woods. Literally surrounded by dense beautiful trees with a sprawling patio and some indoor seating. Order your food upstairs and then head on down to order your drinks and find a good seat. In the summer you’ll find live music almost (maybe every) night. The food runners and bartender were friendly. Bruschetta was okay not great. We had the meatball pizza and the special. They were good. Served 4 adults with left overs!
Maddie H — Google review
My husband & I came here to try their pizza for the first time yesterday evening during our weekend getaway/ wedding anniversary..Because we didn’t plan ahead of time and just show up there, we didn’t realize that it’ll take an hour & half before we could get our order. It was Mad Greek & LouEddie’s special.. so they say, beautiful things come to those who wait.. it’s truly good.. but if I have known, i would have just called ahead and just stay in our cabin until then.. Mad Greek is on the saltier side.. i like salty food but i felt my kidneys kick me back for a bit. Ate it and drink tons of water. Pizza dough is awesome. I prefer LouEddie’s. In the end, my husband & I found this place as something we can recommend.
Rica G — Google review
Everyone was so nice from the moment we walked in. We sat downstairs and inside. Very comfortable atmosphere. We had the special pizza, caramelized, onion, sausage, pepperoni. 😋 my friend needed a gluten free pizza and they made that up with a barbecue chicken, which was absolutely delicious!
Evan G — Google review
Pizza dough is awesome but the toppings amount feels off balance for the pizza size but still good after a day of hiking. Can be super busy. Wait can be 1- 1.5 hours around dinner time. Don’t bother ordering cannoli. For any Italian out there, you will know what I am taking about.
Sam H — Google review
Celebrated my two year anniversary with my girl and happened to stol by Loueddie’s pizza spot. After ordering a delicious margarita pizza, we made our way downstairs where we ordered a beer and talked to Jeff. The history behind this place makes me want to return this coming January of the Year 2026. Just ask Jeff why he has a copy of Star Wars Battlefront from the PS2 behind the draft beers.

This is an awesome little place. We ordered our pizza, then went downstairs to the pub. The back patio was very nice with huge trees and great views.

Bistro
Restaurant
Nestled in Blue Jay, Stone Creek Bistro is a charming and cozy restaurant that offers a delightful blend of American and French comfort foods. The bistro's ambiance may initially seem casual, but it surprises diners with its upscale farm-to-fork dining experience. Whether you're seeking a romantic evening or a gathering with friends, this bistro caters to both occasions with its exquisite flavors. From the delectable French tomato soup to the creative desserts, every dish is crafted to perfection.
Went on a getaway to Lake Arrowhead and ate here both nights of the trip. Their dishes are well crafted and the service is great. Their pork chop is delicious and flavorful and the best dish I tried. The salmon, burger, and seafood pot were delectable. The only hiccup was the parmesan risotto was very undercooked and we got it to for takeout so we couldn’t get that returned or fixed. Amazing establishment and we will be back every time we are in the area!
Lauryn W — Google review
While we enjoyed our meals the Roasted Cicken dinner was dry and lacked flavor. The salmon was good. Parking was a little challenging. Staff was nice
Aceyorba — Google review
You can't prepare salmon better than the culinary team at Stone Creek! The flavor profile and high quality ingredients provided a sensory delight as I worked my way around the plate. The parmesian risotto base added the right amount of texture to follow the salmon. It was succulent and left me thriving for more.... We finished with the beignet's that capped off a true culinary experience! I can't wait to return and explore the menu further. My hats off to the entire staff!
John T — Google review
Highly recommend!! Yummy food. We went there for my wife’s birthday. Ordered duck fat fries, fried Brussels sprouts, Shrimp and grits, steak and fries , cheesy bread and red curry. Finished off with sticky toffee pudding cake. We LOVED all of it. Make sure to reserve or get there before 5 pm when they are about to open since the hours are limited. It is worth it!!

I wish this place was in New York where I live. I can not believe my taste buds. This food can not be cooked with out this being the chef’s life calling! Amazing service, absolutely delicious!
Angel S — Google review
The food was exceptional, the staff were wonderful, and the place itself felt cozy and inviting. The mocktails are a must-try. Overall, an outstanding experience! We’ll definitely be back soon. Thank you Jaime ✨

My husband and I had our wedding anniversary dinner here. Food was decent, a little bit salty but good overall. Waitress and staff were friendly and attentive.
Elisa J — Google review
My husband and I went up to Lake Arrowhead for our honeymoon this past weekend. We LOVED the Stone Creek Bistro so much we went 2 nights in a row. The food was amazing and obviously made with high quality ingredients so the pricing felt very fair. The staff were very nice as well. The one downside is the restaurant is very small and busy so it can be loud and feel cramped. You also almost need a reservation and because of the short hours of operation it can be difficult to secure one for the same day. You can call ahead and leave a message though.

American restaurant
Nestled in Lake Arrowhead, Jetties Waterfront Kitchen & Drink is a top dining spot offering a diverse menu and picturesque views of the water and mountains. This restaurant boasts a mix of classic American dishes and modern fusions, making it an ideal choice for families seeking a memorable meal during their Lake Arrowhead vacation.
This restaurant was right in front of the lake so it was quite beautiful and scenic. We stopped by for a quick meal. We ordered the following: Nutella shake: this was for sure the highlight of the meal - not too sweet but perfect. Cauliflower tacos: better than expected. The cauliflower was crispy and well seasoned. Impossible burger: delicious! The sauce inside was tasty and the burger was cooked well. The garlic parm fries on the side were even better with mayo. Overall, the food was delicious and much better than expected. Great place for brunch.
Harsh P — Google review
Jetties Waterfront Kitchen & Drink is a casual lakefront restaurant located in the Lake Arrowhead Village. This restaurant faces the lake and had an awesome view for people and ducks watching. They offer the casual American plates and cocktails are served up in a laid back setting with the lake views and a patio. After feeding the ducks in the lake, we went into this lakeside restaurant to eat. This place is bright and clean with the beach life vibe. It is a self seating restaurant. We were asked to place our orders at the bar during our visit. When the food was ready, the waitstaff brought out our food to our table. The food was good except for the almost burnt sweet potato fries and the pricing was on the high side. We accepted the overpriced food as this is a prime tourist spot. We did love the spectacular views of the lake and the marina. Food is solid and there’s an extensive beer menu.
Olive T — Google review
Burger was small, we waited 40min for a small burger that wasn't nothing unique or delicious. Thin patties, but good portion of fries. Good beer. Nice people, but definitely took forever, their sign said best burgers saids everyone. Not true. I would get the turkey sandwich instead, bigger and better. Great view of the lake .
Luis V — Google review
I’ve been a resident up here part time all my life; I’ve seen this location turn over many times. But now, I can’t stay away, because this family owned environment has gotten it right. The staff is fantastic and they really don’t ever turn over (which is a good sign). Jetties offers hands down the best views of Lake Arrowhead for dining and drinks, and owners that really truly put their heart and soul into this. Keep up the good work, we appreciate it.
Kevin T — Google review
Well, I don’t know if I’m a ‘Christmas All Year’ kinda person as far as the decor goes- but we really enjoyed the food, service, the views, and the atmosphere here. Came for lunch. We had the ribeye tacos and the cubano sandwich. Both super yummy and served quickly. But- the highlight was those garlic Parmesan truffle fries. Whoa! Awesome stuff.
Shalini J — Google review
I can't recommend Jetties enough. The food, the shakes, the atmosphere the lake front dining you really can't get any better than this! My husband had the Burger which was so delicious their garlic parm truffle fries were cooked to perfection and seasoned very well as the truffle and the garlic were not over powering which is really easy to do. I myself had the caeser salad wrap (subbed with crispy buffalo chicken instead) with sweet potato fries. I'm super picky about my sweet potato fries because more often than not they are just not up to par. Jettie's did not disappoint. Possibly the best sweet potato fries I've ever had, they were crispy but fluffy on the inside and I was so sad when they were gone. The buffalo wrap + their house made ranch was so very good. Best part of the meal was the cold brew shake. Oh my goodness I've never had such a perfectly smooth velvety shake in my life lol. These shakes were so good I got one to go lol I ended up getting a chocolate malt to go but hah I finished it before we actually left 😅. Also very sad it was gone. They have a sign that says southern California's best burger..For the area? Absolutely the best burger lol If you are hungry this is the spot to go to! We didn't get any adult beverages so I can't provide a rating on those but when we are in the Arrowhead Lake area again we will definitely give those a go!
Anzu — Google review
Everything about this place is amazing. I love their smash burgers and garlic fries. The staff are really friendly and attentive. You can't complain about the scenic view of the lake either, which is so relaxing.
Dat A — Google review
Place has an amazing view of the lake while you eat, wife and I ordered western smash which tasted amazing, the cheese perfectly melted in the patty making it juicy, the chili cheese fries have a Mexican style of chilli to it giving it a nice kick. We also tried their shakes. The cold brew shake is very strong, so only get it if you love coffee. Oreo shake was strong in oreo as well but delicious. A to go place in arrowhead, only reason it is not 5 stars is for the price portions are pretty small.

New American restaurant
Bin 189 is a top-notch restaurant located in Lake Arrowhead Resort, offering signature American dishes and an extensive wine selection. The rustic and family-friendly dining room provides a charming ambiance for a gastronomic experience. Situated on CA-189, the restaurant boasts unparalleled views of the lake and mountains, making it a hidden gem in picturesque Lake Arrowhead.
OMG, this was good! I bring guests here for the atmosphere and the view from the open patio! Inside the restaurant it is also relaxxing and tranquil during the day. Thank you so much for revamping my favorite mango pineple salad on the menue. At some point it disappeared, but I am so happy it is back! I asked the chef if they had nuts without sweet glazing, and they did! That salad absolutely makes my day! My guests enjoyed it too. The young lady waitress was super friendly, pleasant and courteous, and she offered us great options from the menu. Thank you!
A D — Google review
We came with a group of friends to this popular American restaurant. The restaurant interior is aesthetic and welcoming, and the service was amazing despite us having to wait an hour for dinner. Here’s what we ordered Garlic Parmesan fries: they were decent - not enough garlic. Crispy Brussels sprouts: this was the best dish of the night. The Brussels were well cooked, crispy, and also a bit sweet which was perfect! Chios and jalapeño queso: the queso was alright but the jalapeño bomb sauce was surprising very delicious and creamy. The chips were fresh and crispy thankfully. Angel hair pasta: decent dish - too many tomatoes but tasty cheese. Cauliflower steak: very well cooked and seasoned! The potato puree was creamy and the broccolini well complemented it. Bread and butter: complementary bread and butter was the perfect starter. The sour dough bread was soft on the inside and slightly harder on the outside. Butter was a bit too creamy though. Overall, that was a solid location with delicious food.
Harsh P — Google review
We ate here for DINNER and here’s my break-down. Food was good but I think it was a little overpriced but I guess they gotta make their money too. 16oz ANGUS RIB-EYE: Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just how we like it. It came with broccolinis which were sautéed and delicious. The baked potato was ok, nothing extraordinary. ANGEL HAIR PASTA: Surprisingly pretty good. Right amount of garlic, tomato, parsley, basil, and olive oil. The only thing I didn’t like about it was that they added goat cheese to it…which was unnecessary. FRIED CALAMARI: It was over fried and salty. The calamari was very chewy. I do not recommend. DRINKS: Lake Arrowhead Pale Ale - my husband loved it, he had three. Old-fashioned - ok. SERVICE/AMBIANCE: AMAZING My husband and I stayed at the resort and noticed the restaurant during check-in. We decided to try it out and didn’t realize we needed reservations. Luckily, it wasn’t super busy and the manager was able to give us a table. Our hostess/waitress (Ana/Ava) was so friendly, attentive, and had such a great vibe to her that I had to let her manager know the amazing customer service she provided to us.
May E — Google review
My family and I had such a lovely time at this new to us restaurant. We've been part time residents for some years now and have always been off put by the bad reviews. Finally decided to broaden our horizons and it did not disappoint. Excellent service from our attendant, Cayro, from the start to the very end. Food was great, ambiance was lovely, overall a great evening.
Jennifer M — Google review
I'm genuinely surprised by the low ratings for the restaurant within Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa because it has consistently exceeded our expectations. The quality of food and drinks has never faltered, always leaving us satisfied with every bite and sip. The staff's attentive and friendly demeanor adds to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Each visit guarantees a great time, making it a go-to spot for memorable dining experiences. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a chance, as it has never failed to impress.
R M — Google review
Bin 189 was such a great experience. The atmosphere and décor are amazing — super cozy but still elevated, the kind of place you actually want to hang out in. Our server, Cayro, was awesome. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and went out of his way to make me a raspberry iced tea even though it’s not on the menu. That kind of effort really makes a difference. Overall, everything felt welcoming and top notch. Highly recommend checking this spot out — I’ll definitely be back.
Alex D — Google review
I’ve been to this restaurant before and it was very nice. However, today was a different experience. We were sat outside with a beautiful view. We were starving and couldn’t wait for some good food. It took 20 minutes to get a server to take our order, another half hour to get our app, and another 45 minutes to get our entrees. As soon as they set our food down we gave them our credit card to pay the bill because we seriously didn’t know when we would see anyone again, and by this point we just wanted out of there. I had no idea who our server was. There seemed to be about 6 different people walking around and it was someone different with every visit to our table. We were so looking forward to the calamari and it was a few overcooked, rubbery calamari’s on an enormous bed of steak fries. I love steak fries, but would never order them because I’m trying to watch carbs and we were so ravenous that we at them all. When we finally got the food, it was pretty subpar. Overall, it was beautiful, the people were very nice, but the service was pretty terrible and very expensive. Don’t think we’ll be back.
Cassie O — Google review
I'm staying at a lake house for the summer. I've eaten here 3 times. The food is good, the place is nice. Service is horrible. Was there again yesterday and sat at the bar. There were only one other couple seated at the bar. Lady bartender was rude and forgot about my drink. Never introduced herself and never gave me a menu or asked if I wanted anything to eat. The whole time, she was talking to the staff, not working.

El Papagayos Mexican Restaurant & Cantina in Lake Arrowhead offers a casual and family-friendly dining experience with a picturesque view of the lake from its patio. The restaurant serves generous portions of Southwestern-influenced Mexican cuisine, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed lunch or dinner. The warm and inviting decor creates a cozy ambiance, perfect for romantic dinners or gatherings with friends and family.
Happy Hour!!! The photos are not dinner plates, they are appetizers!!! We ordered taquitos and nachos for our party and we were blown away by the size and flavor. They had nice drink specials too, a large variety of beers, and a full bar. They have different seating areas including booths and the bar was full of happy people socializing with each other. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The eagle next was also on TV in the bar.

I wish I took photos, but I loved the very calm and tight-knit feeling of the restaurant. I’m from New Jersey and it reminded me of home. As soon as you enter there is a bar area with seating available all around. Someone will come and seat you. A lot of people will watch sports and take a sip at the bar. The shrimp tacos I ordered were *chefs kiss* 👌🏻 Bellissimo! And shoutout to Jamie for her wonderful customer service and the staff cleaning and working hard! :)

I recently ordered the soup and shrimp salad and both dishes were delicious! The soup was flavorful and comforting, with just the right amount of seasoning. The shrimp salsa was fresh, zesty, and perfectly balanced — you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Everything was well-prepared and tasted authentic. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items from the menu!

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Parking: 2/5 Family friendly: 3/5 Stroller friendly: 3/5 ADA accessible: 3/5 Definitely a gem here in Lake Arrowhead. Might sound ignorant, but I wasn't expecting this type of authenticity, loads of food and affordable all in the same place! We went with a big group of 12 around lunchtime -1 o'clock so the wait was about an hour or so. Nevertheless, food was great. We ended up ordering nachos supremas ($18.25), carne asada plate ($24.25), and carne asada burrito ($20.95). Each entree was def big enough to share and we also had food to take home. The wait staff was super quick and nice, especially considering how many people were there around 2-3 o'clock. It was packed! Some downsides though, this is just general to Lake Arrowhead Village itself on the weekend. There is lots of parking, but godspeed trying to find one. It was horrendous. Also, the wait time was 60-75 min around lunchtime. If you're in the area I would definitely drop by here.
Rus M — Google review
Ate here on a Friday in August because the wait was low. Service was great and our server was awesome even though they were super busy. Another guest was being super entitled behind us and was obviously off her meds and the staff handled it really well. We will definitely be back. Also I had to go to a Mexican restaurant in Lake Arrowhead to get real potato skins. If thats your jam then they got you covered.
Chris — Google review
The service is good but the food is not. This is not authentic Mexican food and not even close to it. I ordered a chile relleno and it was mostly an egg. Only this piece of chile was on it. Didn’t even bother trying it because that’s not what I was expecting. A waste of money !!!
Claudia E — Google review
I live in la, and I eat Mexican food all the time, the food here in this place is hand down very good Mexican food, the bean paste is not made salty but with a good balance favor, and their meat is well prepared and perfectly cooked, soup is really good too, very fresh ingredients. What can I say, with a beautiful patio view, you would think food won't be good, but this restaurant really shows me good food can be served with view. Also there is live music and very good service, i asked for hot chili sauce and they made me a custom chili sauce, I can be more happy, and have to take my time to write them a review. Amazing 👏 Good job. 👍

Pretty decent size servings for what you pay, food comes out at a good rate. Staff is friendly, you can tell they favorite the regulars and spend more time giving attention to them. But besides that food is good for the price. I would recommend to try for food.

Located just a short drive from Lake Arrowhead Village, Cedar Glen Malt Shop is a must-visit for families looking to satisfy their ice cream cravings. This 50s-themed diner offers a variety of classic American fare, including burgers named after classic cars, grilled cheese sandwiches, and hot-fudge sundaes. The friendly staff and speedy service add to the overall experience. With its nostalgic flair and delicious menu offerings, this local burger joint is highly recommended for anyone visiting Cedar Glen.
I loved the old-fashioned malt shop vibe. The little vinyl 45s on the wall were great, just the whole vibe in general . The food was fantastic, the bacon cheeseburger with toasted bun was huge, and the onion rings with a side of ranch and bbq hit the spot. The cheeseburger and fries were also a hit with my wife. The 50s music in the background really took me back to the Happy Days vibe. I wish we still had places like this all over, but that was different times that would be great to revisit. Thank you for the blast from the past!!

They were packed out when we got there so we signed in grabbed a menu and waited in the car. Took about 15 minutes for them to come out and invite us in. Servers were happy and helpful. I got a small maraschino cherry shake and the Tijuana taxi which is a grilled chicken breast sandwich with Ortega chilis, grilled onions and swiss cheese on a brioche bun with a salad instead of fries. It was kind of messy but I enjoyed the flavor. The chicken was tender and they put plenty of Ortega chilis. Hubby got the Nomad which is a third pound hamburger with bacon, cheese and peanut butter, (yes I said peanut butter) tomato, grilled onions on a brioche bun with frings or french fries and onion rings. The onion rings were crunchy and savory. The hamburger was really good and the peanut butter didn't throw it off at all. It was more like a thickened peanut butter sauce. He also got the large hot fudge swirl shake. We were told adding malt to the shake would make it sweeter and creamier so we decided not to do that. The shakes were perfect the way they came out. I was really happy about the whole meal and it was worth the wait. I would definitely recommend.

If you’re anywhere near Cedar Glen, you absolutely have to stop by The Malt Shop. The burgers and fries are out-of-this-world — they’ve got that timeless, nostalgic, homemade taste that instantly takes you back. The shakes and malts are just as good, and my mom couldn’t resist trying the root beer float — delicious! 😋 The staff is genuinely welcoming, which makes the experience feel even better. The place itself is humble, almost a hidden hole-in-the-wall. At first glance, you might not know what to expect, but trust me — give it a shot and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. A true gem that captures the essence of old-school comfort food. 🫶🏽 PS. Sorry for the half eaten burger pic! I couldn’t resist lol! 😂

Very “hole in the wall” sort of place but in the best way. Very chill vibes. Good service, good selection of menu items, the shakes are 🔥💃🙌🏼✨ And the burgers are 🤌🏼 If you’re looking for food and have picky kids with you or are tired of trying to decide which restaurant to go to, you should go here

Delicious burgers and malts! They have over 10 options to chose from with delicious fries and onion rings. There are a few beers from the bottle and all the malts your heart desires.

We're locals and our family loves it here. Definitely the best burgers on the mountain. Love their onion rings and the decor is classic oldie car '50s diner. The shakes are so good and so many flavors! A definite must if you're visiting or live on the mountain.

Spent the weekend up the road from this tiny but mighty malt shop. Old time feel, with awesome decor. We tried the root beer float, the rainbow float, the peanut butter shake and vanilla shake. They were all phenomenal! Order a burger, delicious! Toasted buns! We also had the fries and onion rings which were on point as well! Man! I wish a didn’t live far from here, otherwise I’d come a lot!

1s I had a great time at this place, even though we live an hour away. The bartenders, Alex, VC, and others, were fantastic. They were friendly and always ready to help. We had a few appetizers, and they were all delicious. We did come during a busy time, but they still managed to serve everyone quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend this place. And the view of the lake is beautiful! We also met a few nice couples.

Lakefront location, exceptional service, and stunning views. Look no further for the perfect blend of ambiance and scenery. Delicious cuisine, attentive guest service, and an impressive selection of cocktails and wine. We celebrated the 4th of July with a patio reservation and plan to make this our annual tradition. Our server, Sean, provided outstanding personalized service, the icing on the cake.

My wife and I stopped by for breakfast after a morning hike and ordered the Vegan Street Tacos and the Veggie Sando with fries. Everything was delicious -- I left full and ready for a boat ride and another hike! Both dishes were great, but I personally liked the tacos more. Big shoutout for the dog menu and how dog-friendly the place is -- much appreciated. The staff were lovely girls who clearly know what they're doing. I happily left a tip.

We just came in from San Diego and had a great experience here. Jake was one of the most friendly people we've met and he gave us great recommendations on what to order and what to great, if you can ask for Jake - do it, he's amazing. If you're a beer guy, you'll be in heaven here. The tap list is all available via Untapped and they've got Pliny the Elder, even the DDH ones. Full cocktail menu as well and the food was great, we just got the wings but they have a "hotter than hell" sauce and it was perfectly spicy for me. Super impressed with this place especially the views of the lake. Can't wait to go back tonight!

We were in the neighborhood for a tattoo appointment, and this place came recommended as having one of *the* best bbq bacon cheeseburgers. And it was superb. It was a great balance between meaty burger, tangy, sweet, and the bacon was real bacon. Just everything you’d hope it to be. In terms of appetizers, be warned. They are very generously portioned. We ordered the Irish Nachos and the Cheese Curds. Both fantastic options. We also ordered the Wedge salad and the Italian Beef Hoagie. The wedge salad was a mountain, with a bountiful assortment of toppings. The Italian Beef Hoagie was great. It was very salty (not really my thing), but the seasonings and toppings on the sandwich were spot on. The flavor was amazing overall, just a tad too salty for my preference. The service was friendly and quick, and when we asked for recommendations, we got honest thoughts. The ambiance is lakefront, so the view is expansive. Definitely on the list to revisit and try other items.

My partner and I went to this restaurant on the lake. It has a beautiful view. I enjoyed looking out at the water. We ordered the same plate, the tap room Burger. The burger included a side and was a $4 extra charge if you wanted a premium side. We upgraded to sweet potato tots and parmesan garlic fries. Both of the sides were very delicious. I just wish they would have given us a little bit more of the garlic fries for the price. Personally I thought the hamburger was okay but my partner did enjoy it. We also tried two cocktails that were on there seasonal menu. I tried the mescalita and my partner got the midnight smash. I definitely recommend the mescalita over the smash. The cocktails were $15 each and we were there on a Thursday night and got a $2 happy hour discount so each drink came out to $13 each. There was also a lady playing live music on the guitar and singing and I think it really added to the ambiance of the restaurant. It was very beautiful. Overall the service was good but it did seem at one point that they were very busy and we didn't really see our waiter much. Overall, I would recommend checking it out. I hope you enjoy.

One of my favorites on the mountain. The food never fails me. The fried cauliflower with buffalo sauce 🤌 cocktails 🍸 are always good. There's a wait at times, but you can order cocktails to go if you want to walk around while you wait. Their dog friendly. And have an incredible view.

Bar
Nestled in the charming town of Lake Arrowhead, Saddleback Grill is a full-service restaurant and bar offering classic American cuisine in a cozy lodge-style setting. Conveniently located on CA-173, it's a popular spot for both locals and visitors to unwind and savor comfort food favorites. The menu features an array of traditional dishes like baby back ribs, grilled burgers, and gourmet chicken pot pie. Guests can also enjoy a well-stocked bar serving up refreshing drinks.
It was our first time in Lake Arrowhead, and our friends recommended this restaurant. It’s a total gem. The food and drink menu was extensive but we ordered some of the more popular including lobster escargot, French onion soup (which was the best we have outside of France), pork schnitzel and calamari steaks! All the portion sizes were huge but the star of the restaurant was the friendly people and service. Andrew and Melissa were both knowledgeable and helpful. We ate on the dog friendly patio with our 2 Cavaliers, and we talked to everyone around us - such a friendly and inviting atmosphere. We need to come back and try the happy hour!
Robert L — Google review
It was happy hour (4-6pm). We arrived at 5:02 and waited until 5:17 to even get acknowledged. We finally ordered happy hour food and drinks. We got 2 out of 3 dishes we ordered (unfortunately the one we didn’t get was mine). We waited and waited for our waiter to come back to give us new drinks - never happened. Well after happy hour was over, he came back. We told him I never received my food but at that point, I was no longer interested. We couldn’t order more drinks because happy hour was long gone so we just paid and left. The food was good but overpriced even for normal California restaurants. Bruschetta was normally $19 for 4 small pieces - nothing spectacular. Happy hour prices were cheaper but still not even close to being worth it. We’re fine with paying for higher end meals. Nothing new. This just is way beyond reasonable for what we received. It seems like a good place but just way overpriced. The happy hour drinks were reasonable though and they were made well. They definitely need extra staffing in the bar on the weekends. This is one of those places that could really do better and be amazing. The financial potential and the atmosphere is there. I wish I owned this place. It’s beautiful on the inside and they have so many wonderful and creative dishes. They just needs to create a better value.

Nice restaurant for a romantic dinner. Food is very good, big plates. A little bit on the high prices ($30 up for entrees), but we really enjoyed it. We ordered the wedge salad It was so yummy, pork chop and salmon. Don't skip dessert: Bread pudding!! It was one of the best I ever ate!!

I had lamb that was properly cooked and side that were delicious. My girlfriend had chicken piccatta which was lacking lemon though they we asked and they provided some more. The room was fairly loud and the musician was also a bit loud. Overall a very good place in that area to eat.

The 12 oz New York strip steak was very tasty and the green beans on the side were very tasty! The garlic mashed potatoes were tasty as well. My wife ordered the crusted double pork shop and enjoyed it. For dessert I ordered sea salt caramel gelato with chocolate truffles and absolutely loved it.

We went to Saddleback Grill on Sept 22 during our Lake Arrowhead vacation and absolutely loved everything about this place! The food was fantastic and the service was efficient, friendly, and welcoming. Our waitress, Yasmine, was wonderful. She recommended mocktails for our kids, was attentive throughout the evening, and made us feel at home. We started with the calamari appetizer, which was fresh and delicious. For mains, I had the duck (amazing!) and my husband had the filet mignon, perfectly cooked. Our kid ordered the chicken fingers, which came in a generous portion. We finished with the bread pudding for dessert which was so good! Generous portions, great flavors, and excellent service. We’ll definitely be coming back on our next trip to Lake Arrowhead!
Meital H — Google review
Good food in a nice venue. Everything was pretty much ..good. Nothing great. Given a lower rating based on value because for those prices you'd expect a lot more. The menu is heavy handed with thick sauces. It's like no dish can stand on it's own without being covered in some gravy of some sort. They even feel compelled to put whipped cream on the espresso martini. The vegetables tend to be string beans, the starch mostly mashed potatoes and rice. Food comes out lukewarm. This is the kind of restaurant parents loved in the 70s. True to that the drinks were surprisingly strong and and large and therefore a good value. The other plus is that likely due to it's prices and menu selections it's not so much of a family restaurant as so many of the other places on this lake are, hence it's much quieter and more intimate. If you want a nice quiet intimate dinner in a nice setting with some strong drinks and maybe a couple of appetizers to share it will serve that purpose well

I had the pleasure of checking out this Brewary this weekend. Highly recommend it, beautiful drive up to it! This Brewary sits a few minutes from Lake Arrowhead shops, parking can be a bit packed but a short walk from nearby parking lots. Sits right in front of the Lake so you get the beautiful nature atmosphere. Tried a few flights & they were excellent & rather affordable . If you have the munchies a local Poke place delivers to the Brewary as well. Definitely will be going back, everyone was super friendly and customer service was spot on!

Our family love going here when we’re in Lake Arrowhead. It’s near the Lake Arrowhead Resort and the village. They have a very nice outside patio, great view of trees and to hear the stream going by. It is dog friendly, over half the people brought their dogs, they need to be on a leash. Many people had their children with them. They also have seating indoors. A very relaxing place to sit and relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Great brewery serving good vibes, delicious beer and several nonalcoholic options (!!). We brought our dog and enjoyed the games they provide. There is also a cute outdoor garden area.

I’m surprised that I hadn’t tried this place until recently. Located near the village and parking is right in front of the lake. The beer was good and service was great. They do not have food, but you can bring food in and they have scan menus from Rippin’ Bowls that will deliver. I chose this option and the delivery was really quick. It is noted on the website as a family spot which it is. There were a few families that came with kids that were running around having fun. This was midday so I will try them later in the evening next time to see if it is more of an adult crowd. They also can beers to go!!

Such a cool place with an amazing atmosphere! They have fire pits where you can warm up and chill — perfect for cozy evenings. We have enjoyed returning to this fun spot as it is super handy when you're wanting a beach day on the other side of the parking lot. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian dining experience near Lake Arrowhead, Puglia Italian Restaurant is an absolute must-visit! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and an ambiance that transported me straight to Southern Italy. The food was outstanding. Food was good with large portions, but took an hour to receive. It was busy for a Monday night. They were sweet though and gifted me a dessert for my birthday! The tiramisu was amazing. Good, kind service as well. Very small and cozy seating indoors.

Make sure to have a reservation the restaurant is small and sitting is limited. Waiting time for walk-ins can be over an hour if they get lucky. Super friendly. 5/5 Food 4/5 Cacio e pepe had a very mild flavor. The Gnocchi alla Sorrentina was in the sweet side for our liking. Atmosphere was good, small cabin house made into a restaurant 👌

There is a 15% service fee, so consider that before you go. But don’t let that scare you, the food is truly delicious. Very much worth the price. If I had a bigger stomach, I would have ordered more. The crust of their pizza, I don’t know how they do it!

Bland food, overpriced, and horrible service. Do NOT waste your time. Had a reservation for a party of 8. We all arrived and ordered at the same time. The waiter, Xavier, only took the drink order of half the table--presumably he forgot to ask the rest of the table what they wanted to drink because he was too busy trying to convince one member of our party to buy expensive wine. Extremely pushy and would not take multiple no's for an answer until she insisted on the wine she actually wanted to order. After he failed to sell her the wine, Xavier disappeared for two hours, till he finally brought us our food. Food was extremely bland. I'm familiar with good, authentic Italian food so I mean it when I say we would have eaten better at Olive Garden. I guess that's why they make you wait so long for the food, they want you so hungry you don't notice how bad it is. Xavier gave us a very insincere apology for the wait and did not inform us we'd be waiting so long in the first place.
Charlie S — Google review
I’m very disappointed. My husband and I went there for our anniversary with our kids. The food was terrible. The pasta was not cooked all the way and it was very watery. The pesto gnocchi was gummy and pesto was sour. I informed my server after taking one bite that I don’t like my food. He argued with me saying everyone loves it and he doesn’t know why I don’t like it. Well my husband is Italian and I’m used to good food that’s why. The server talked me into buying the gnocchi when I wanted to order pasta with pesto and neglected to mention there is a $6 up charge. They refused to return the dish that no one wanted to eat because it was not edible. My husband ordered chicken piccata. The chicken was rubbery and his pasta came with watery marinara sauce which is weird to me. They asked me not to return to their restaurant because I asked them to remove one of the dishes from my check. I have never encountered such horrible service and will never return. I am a local and I was looking for a place for celebrations and special occasions. I will keep looking. Shame on you Puglia. Winning on the show chopped doesn’t guarantee good customer service or good food I guess. The restaurant doesn’t have a view of the lake as they try to allude to in ads for the restaurant. It’s a small house converted to a restaurant so it was hot and confining.
Design C — Google review
The authenticity and quality of this restaurant is incredible. No restaurant located in a remote mountain town has any business being this amazing! This is some of the best Italian food I’ve had outside Italy. The restaurant is family run; (the restaurant is named after the region that the family comes from, which happens to be the same region of Italy that my family came from a century ago.) If you eat anywhere in the mountains this should be the top of your list.
Anthony C — Google review
Very nice interior, and professionally run by real Italians providing a real Italian experience. The wine selection was mainly premium, and the menu had a good variety of appetizers and entrees. The olive oil that came with the bread was very tasty, which was a deliberate choice of the chef. We split an order of lasagne, which was still big enough for a major doggie bag. The meat sauce was substantial and tasty, and the pasta was handmade, light and tasty. We did save room for the chocolate cake, which was intensely chocolate. This also made a great doggie bag! This was a thoroughly enjoyable Anniversary dinner, made more enjoyable by the wait staff's attention and great stories. We hope to return.

The food is phenomenal. There can be a line to order but it's worth it. It's honestly some of the best pizza I've had in Cali and we make sure to get some every time we visit! The cheesy garlic bread is also absolutely divine. It's nice to get it to go or chill there and enjoy the views. The bathrooms are also very clean which I think is worth noting.

We saw that the reviews were very good so we tried it and we’re happy we did. We shared the Greek salad, they graciously switched out iceberg lettuce to romaine for us, it was fresh made and had plenty of toppings, and a very good Italian dressing. We also shared the lasagna, WOW, baked fresh in a deep bowl and piping hot delicious with crisp buttery garlic bread. There were also local beers on tap and we enjoyed the Arrowhead blonde ale. Very good dining experience and friendly staff, but the view of the lake from the pretty patio made my day.

Tea & Coffee Exchange is an absolute gem! The prices are very affordable, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can grab a tasty sandwich for a quick bite, and the coffee is simply delicious. The place is clean, cozy, and has a great vibe that lifts your mood. Amazing spot with great prices and quality — highly recommend!

The croissant was thick and dense see pic. The lemon bite was creamy, sweet with expected tartness and was delicious. Latte delicious. The service was very nice. The espresso was extremely bitter.

I visited a few days ago a bit before closing. Two young ladies were working & were very helpful! I wanted a specialty matcha & they helped me get exactly what I wanted! They were very friendly, helpful, and kind! I had a great experience & delicious drink. The interior is very cozy & would be a great place to study. Large selection of unique loose leaf teas, too. Would definitely recommend.

we ordered a crepe and it was so bad , would rather they say they didn’t have strawberries anymore, than to give us these crappy ones. like girl…

So this is about location and it's right in the Village and there are not a lot of options for coffee. Cute decor inside. Slight line when we were here in the fall. A lot of the places didn't open till 10am. I opted for the white pumpkin latte less sweet. It was still sweet. But oh well. The coffee mix was good. I do wish they made their own syrups, which is something I look for now. It was good though. My friend also enjoyed her apple croissant but she said it lacked cinnamon but that's personal preference.

The coffee, food, and service were all great!! My mom and mother-in-law were very comfortable hanging out on their comfy couch, while us more mobile folks explored the village. They also have a wide variety of tea. Highly recommend this cozy cafe!

Steak house
American restaurant
Restaurant
RB's Steakhouse is a popular dining spot in Lake Arrowhead, offering a diverse menu featuring steak, chicken, seafood, burgers, and more. Housed in a charming three-story cabin converted into a restaurant, the cozy atmosphere adds to the overall experience. The friendly staff provides excellent service while serving up delicious American cuisine. While some diners rave about the fresh and tasty dishes such as baby back ribs and jumbo shrimp, others have found the food to be average or overpriced.
Great local steakhouse, kind of a weird place but not necessarily in a bad way. People drinking and smoking out in the patio even when it's cold at night, bar on the bottom floor then a restaurant on the second floor. Service is excellent, steaks were fantastic. Enjoy the baked potato but the mac and cheese was the stand out side, also enjoy the French onion soup. Places were very reasonable for the quality and size of portions. Plenty of parking out front in cedar Glen. Definitely one of my favorite local spots.

Wow! My boyfriend and I wanted a bite to eat before we left. I was so happy! We had warm bread, shrimp cocktail and yummy drinks! My tri tip steak was heavenly. I loved my baked potato. This place is amazing!! I can't wait to come back!

This is a tough review. Good stuff: food taste and quality. Everything we ordered tasted good and the portions are generous. The drinks were better than expected and the appetizers were also delicious. Our waitress was really nice and kind. Ok now the bad: our food took 50(!) minutes to arrive. It was a ridiculous amount of time imo. Now, to be fair they seemed to be very busy... but 50mins is 50mins. I would've been fine with that if then once we were done eating they didn't take 30mins to get us our check! Our waitress had disappeared and when I tried to get another waitress' attention (the only one with blond hair) she said "I'll get to you." Then walked away. She then proceeded to walk past our table multiple times completely ignoring us. I just wanted my check lady. Our original waitress arrived with our check as previously stated 30mins after we were done eating and had asked blonde waitress for attention. Idk man. Maybe it was just a bad day but still...
Demian S — Google review
It's a run down old school steak house. I'm not against that at all, but it doesn't have the charm to pull it off. 10/4/25 We sat down and our waitress brought us water, which she spilled across the table, soaking us both. We moved tables, dried off, and tried to have a nice dinner. The waitress didn't get any better. I asked about the soup of the day and was told it was vegetable soup. While I ate my salad I heard another waitress tell her table the soup was vegetable beef or French onion. I love French onion soup, and would have ordered that. Food was good, not great, but was good. Our cocktails were quite good. The creme brulee dessert was not good. It was dry, I assume overcooked, and was an inconsistent texture. Our waitress brought it to the table with forks and not spoons. I called to her asking for spoons, but had to wait and get another waitress' attention. We continually gave the restaurant and our waitress the benefit of the doubt, and extra chances. The final straw was our bill was over $120 and didn't have a single discount for having water poured on us. I didn't expect much, but a free dessert or some other small token would have done a lot to make up for us having wet slacks and a wet dress.

By search this wasn't the most fancy Steakhouse on the mountains, but it was recommended by a friend so we decided to give it a try. Wow it was good. Service was good, the food was outstanding! Stake was 9 out of 10, they have the best French fries!!! Salads were fresh and delicious 😋. And soup was warm and yummy. We'll definitely return!!!

We tried going up to the malt shop today, but since it was a holiday weekend, the line was out the door. I noticed that the steakhouse was open on the way up there and that it didn’t seem too crowded. So we stopped there to eat heading back out of cedar Glen. It was our youngestson‘s first birthday so we wanted to do something special. The server seated is upstairs and really made the event special for our son. We didn’t want to spend too much so we got a burger and a steak sandwich which were really good highly recommend this place!
Simon W — Google review
The dining entrance is on the right, around the corner, up a little incline. We didn’t know and entered through the 2 front steps and went through the bar and up a flight of stairs. Didn’t seem like anyone knew we were there waiting, but finally someone going down the stairs with food said that “someone will be with you”. It took a while to be seated. Staff was really nice, but they were really stressed and obviously understaffed. It took a really long time to get the food. The free bread reminded me of enriched hotdog buns, but it was warm and something to tie us over until the food came. The waitress said the soup of the day was “tomato” but it was really obondigas desconstructed and it was absolutely delicious! Tritip was good. All the dishes we ordered were plentiful and the prices were pretty reasonable.

We visited while it was snowing and received excellent service! I wish I could remember our server, as she had the special sauce. The bacon burger was delicious, and the fries were amazing.

SooOoOoO delicious!!! I got the blue cheese bacon burger and it was amazing. The fries are very, very good. Thinly sliced and so crispy!! and for dessert we got the beignet and omg heaven… The only thing we didn’t love was the fried pickles, too much fry and not enough pickle. Overall this place was so good!! And they even have great artwork on the wall that you can purchase, so of course I had to grab a few of those. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🥰

To be honest, when we walked in I didn’t know what to expect but the place had good reviews so I went with it… Pleasantly surprised with the food! We ordered the veggie soup of the day and different sandwiches. All were equally delicious. And those fries were pretty close to amazing! I would definitely recommend anyone in the area to stop by here and enjoy a good meal. The server was very nice and friendly as well!

Came here after trying to find vegan friendly food while visiting Lake Arrowhead. We tried two of the vegan burgers- they were made in house and SO GOOD. Also had to try the beignets- the strawberry sauce was vegan friendly! Really pretty mural on the wall! Mom got the vegan nuggets... They were overcooked but the fries were great.

Found this cute little place while staying at Lake Arrowhead Resort. Had Sunday Brunch. Service a little slow but we were not in a rush. Its tucked away into a little shopping center near a main road. We decided to eat outside bc it was a nice day but the traffic noise was a bit loud. Ordered the B.A.T omelet. Fresh tomatoes, crispy bacon, fresh avocado. Served with micro greens. Came with potatoes and fresh fruit. Also ordered the vegan breakfast burrito. Was yummy as well. Pancakes with scrambled eggs completed our order. One pancake was on the burnt side so the waitress knocked a little off our bill. The strawberry lemonade was amazing. All in all, will be back

Very worth the wait!! One of the best burgers I've ever had, amazing fresh strawberry lemonade, and great fries. Large portion sizes. Absolutely recommend.

The food was amazing. I got the beef dip, one of the best in my life. The fries are so good and unique. I already can't wait to come back and get it again. I can't breathe right now, and I wish I could eat more. I don't often leave anywhere so in love with my meal. My gf got the BLT, she wasn't a big fan of the pickled jalapeños on it, they over powered the avocado and bacon. But it looked gorgeous and I'm sure without those, she'd have loved it. I can't wait to come back and try the fried cheese.

Cruised in for lunch because the menu had me dreaming of smoky goodness and southern charm. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a fried chicken sandwich—one with mac, one with fries (a balanced diet, obviously). The pulled pork turned out to be a bit of a workout—chewy, fatty, and not in that “melt-in-your-mouth” way. Fries showed up cold, like they’d been ghosted by the fryer. The chicken sandwich was decent, but the Memphis sauce had some kind of mystery note that I couldn’t quite place—maybe “confusion with a hint of regret”? The hero of the day: the mac n’ cheese. Creamy, cheesy, and honestly the best thing we ordered (besides the drinks). Speaking of drinks, the bartender crushed it—friendly, fast, and clearly holding this place together. If they tighten up the food game to match the service, this spot could really shine. Until then… go for the drinks and mac, maybe skip the pork.

Great place to eat and enjoy drinks! So much fun to watch the dancing. Karaoke night is awesome. Expect to have a great time when you come in! This place is so awesome, they will be opening up another Cadillac Cowboy in Parker, AZ in August 2025! Congratulations to the owners

The food is good, but the menu is really short. The view is amazing! They have country music playing fairly loudly, which is fun. Hope you like country music. The bar is great!

Food was horrible. Ribs were completely burnt. Non edible. Server said he saw that, but the table next to us ate their totally burnt ribs and were fine. OMG he knew they were totally burnt and served them anyway. We did like him btw. Sorry gross food, ok small lake view from patio, and not great prices. Waste of money..ps. their highly promoted desert was gross also. One bit and trashed it. Sorry guys PLEASE DO BETTER FOLKS. There are not many choices up in Arrowhead nowadays and with even your signature barbecue sauce not being good, you're not destined for great things in my opinion unless you change it up. There's huge potential there. I hate writing this review and I'm sad that I have to. Because everyone seemed very nice and I want to make sure this place does well so I'm hoping this review will help

When arriving with a party of 30, being told they could accommodate but were being given dirty looks. Then snide remarks of "good riddance " by two servers when we decided to leave is very poor service. Will never return or recommend to anyone.

I’m surprised to find such a great Mexican restaurant in the mountains! It’s one of the best I’ve ever been to. The fajita trio takes me back to Texas, where I lived for years. And the lobster tacos…what an amazing twist, combining high-end seafood with street food. Every bite is so flavorful and delicious. Plus the restaurant has a warm, homey vibe that’s perfect for gatherings with friends and family.

I can't believe we have never ventured in here since my family's cabin purchase twenty some years ago! The location is directly off of highway 18, so be careful when pulling in or out. There are plenty of places to sit outside, 2 levels, as well as some inside. The menu has many options as well. We opted for the "daily specials", one plate of 2 beef tacos and one plate of 2 enchiladas, one beef and one cheese both plates $14.99. The choices were chicken, beef or cheese. While waiting for our food, we snacked on the complimentary chips and salsa; both rather bland. Some people must love it because on the front of the menu it stated each table is alloted two servings of salsa. There will be a charge after two. Our food came out fairly quickly and looked good. The beef taco wasn't shredded, more like cubed meat. Different and good. I had a bite of each of my husbands enchiladas for one of my tacos. Again, the cubed beef. The mexican rice had good flavor, the beans just okay. When the bill came, one of the plates was $15.99, instead of $14.99 as stated on the menu. I inquired and was told they have to upcharge because both the enchiladas were not the same. When ordering, great customer service would entail having declared the discrepancy to the patron. That did not happen. For our first time visiting, we enjoyed the food, for the most part. There are at least three Mexican food places within a five minute drive. Would I choose this one? Verdict still out. By the way, they do not have any Happy Hour regardless of what you may find on Google or Yelp.

When you walk up… you have a choice of two restaurants. Good pizza or great Mexican food. Rosalia’s is staffed with folks who are sincerely glad you are there. Didn’t get that feeling next door. Pictured here is the owner Sean. He made a point to go to each table and personally thank them for being here. I love that! Food, service and ambiance were all wonderful! Go here!
Blake D — Google review
Went to this restaurant yesterday and ordered 7 meals. They gave us one small salsa. We asked for 4 more and the waitress asked if one larger container would do…we said yes. Then she gave it to us with chips and found she charged us for it. We complained that for seven meals, we should have more than one salsa. Waitress finally got the “manager’ who was very snotty and while agreeing that had we bought 7 meals individually, we would have received 7 salsas…said best she could do was give us 8 ounces of salsa…half of what they had bagged and already charged us for. It was really not worth trying to get our money back at that point but we will never go there again. If we were eating at the restaurant we would have had unlimited chips and salsa and the to go menu is not cheaper. By the way we had tried to call in our order also and they answered and put phone on counter and never came back. We hung up after listening to them for ten minutes. We still went thinking holiday weekend and they were probably frazzled but the salsa thing was unacceptable. Food was not bad but tacos were small and fell apart. Horetencias and papagyos will continue to be our choices.
Larry K — Google review
Good quality Mexican cuisine. Chili Verde plate was especially good with delicious green sauce. Tostada could have more meat but otherwise fresh and well complemented with guacamole and sour cream. Chili Relleno very good. Outdoor seating spacious with tables well separated.
William S — Google review
Called to place an order for pickup, they said it would be “one second.” Waited 10 minutes no luck. After waiting so long decided to drive there, still on hold the whole time. We mentioned it and they said, “oh.” No sorry, but whatever, they were busy I tried to be understanding. We Ordered. After about 40 minutes the food came. We spent $100 they gave us 1 small 2oz salsa. We had ordered 7 items mostly(6) plates. They asked me how many we wanted, I said one per combo plate. They said ok we will put it in the bigger cup. Then secretly tried to charge us $10 for salsa without telling us?They informed us that they do 1 salsa per order…So we could’ve spent $1 or $1000 and they would’ve given us the same 2oz salsa? Who eats 7 items with one salsa?? The salsa is one thing, the way they treated people was another. With Hortencia’s on the mountain and even papagayos I can’t see ever dealing with those angry, rude people again. 3 or more tables came and asked for their orders to go while we waited as they were tired of waiting for their orders.

Rippin Bowls is a new addition to Lake Arrowhead, offering a variety of poke and acai bowls. The establishment aims to provide a healthy dining option in the mountain area with its chef-inspired menu. Customers can expect fresh and flavorful dishes in a quick takeout setting at Lake Arrowhead Village. Visitors have praised the quality and taste of the bowls, highlighting ingredients like peanut butter, honey, pickled ginger, and fresh fish and fruit.
Was at lake arrowhead brewing and wanted a snack. They have an awesome service with rippin bowls (which is up the hill in the mall area) where you can order online and the brewery will go pick it up on a golf cart and deliver it down to you! Ordered some spam musubi and a poke bowl to share between 2. Was the perfect snack for a brewery, fresh and pretty quick. Highly recommend.
Jess F — Google review
The good... Decent sauces, love some of the topping options like bonito flakes and pickled cucumber. The bad... Forgot to include my musubi in my bag, which luckily I caught before getting too far away. Rice was hot, which doesn't work so great in poke bowls. The ugly.. Jalapeño pieces were absurd. Not diced, not pickled jalapeños, not roasted jalapeños, they're not seeded or cored. Just enormous pieces of raw jalapeño that were either overwhelming or simply picked out. Masubi was 5$ a piece, and served wrapped in saran wrap and appeared to have been sitting in a food warmer all morning like something straight from 7-11.
J R — Google review
I come here pretty frequently and always enjoy the custom bowls I get. Fish tastes fresh, veggies are fresh, all of the sauce options and toppings are great. The bowls always taste good and this is my preferred poke place on the mountain. Unfortunately, the bowls can be really inconsistent and how good they are depends on who makes them. I've had toppings forgotten, bowls underfilled with barely any rice and the online ordering systems isn't set up the greatest, it limits amounts of toppings and veggies you can get in your bowl.
Tiffany D — Google review
The fish itself and toppings have good flavor. You would think it is a healthy meal but it is not. The amount of oil is extreme. I could not eat the rice. Oil is in puddles at the bottom. Rice is soaked with oil. There is a crunchy thick layer on the bowl too that is fried oil. Not healthy clean eating as expected.

I really loved this place. Good drink options, fair price, fresh poke bowls that have a lot of flavor. No seating inside so you can sit outside in the sunshine by the lake. I got The Ripper Bowl and i ate the entire thing. The pickled ginger was such a lovely touch. I can't wait to try their acai bowls.

Wow! Just wow! Stopped in for the first time today to try an açai bowl and it was A-MAZE-ING!! We had a very nice and helpful greeting, the menu was explained to us, so we decided to try "The Hippy." We used to get incredible açai bowls in Orange County, and the ones from Nekter down in Citrus Plaza are good, but this place totally blew our socks off! The quality of the peanut butter and honey made it so extra creamy, smooth, and tasty. Everything was so fresh--and just chef's kiss. I can already tell I'm going to be here a lot! I think all of the açai bowls are $13 but it's a very splitable size. Highly recommend, and now I can't wait to try a poke bowl.

First of all there is no seating inside at all. On the teriyaki chicken bowl. Was just okay. I feel it needed a little bit more teriyaki sauce. Chicken was a little dry. And for my friend, she got a acai cup. And she did like that.

Great service and big portions what more can you ask for. The staff was attentive and the food came out quick. We tried a variety of food and it was all great, can't wait to go again. Also I'm sure that we met the owner, he took our drink order and welcomed us.

Inside is much larger than it appears from the front. Clean interior and friendly staff. Had the veggie omlette made with egg whites, no cheese and a side of salsa. One of the BEST veggie omlettes! The vegetables were slices not tiny square bites and they tasted so good! I will definitely be back!

Wows! Terrific lunch! Very clean & saw people wiping down doors and common surfaces as well as tables. Plexiglas separators between booths. Masked employees. Very hygienic bathroom. The food is AWESOME! My pal had the tri-tip melt sandwich with hot crispy fries. I went with a hand pounded tender to cut Chicken fried steak and onion rings. My vegetables were fresh carrots and green beans done fresh. Attentive but not clingy staff was on the dot on drink refills. There's an entire case of tempting desserts, too. My white chocolate blueberry cheesecake was delicious. Totally worth visiting for a memorable meal!

My daughter was too hungry to wait so I didn’t take a picture of the first hot dog I was served. This was the second one I sent back because WHAT. Need I say anymore? We also got here at 10:20am and did not get served our food until 12pm. This is not a place to take your family nor to get a quick bite to eat.

Great little restaurant, I would definitely recommend it for breakfast/lunch. I got the huevos rancheros as our waitress recommended and it was definitely a fantastic choice. It's a great place but be ready to wait. There was a wait to get a table and their waiting area is incredibly small so be ready to be outside. And then it took them a while to bring us our food. But what can you expect for a Sunday afternoon. This dinner definitely does have a cool small town vibe to it.

We came here with optimistic hopes for some good grub on our trip in Twin Peaks but we had a little trouble parking at first. Parking in the strip mall-ish area is likely the only place you will find parking (close to a kids clothing store). For us new to the area, that was a pain but we didn’t let it get us down. It seemed like a place that could have been cozy but even being in the center of the restaurant was kind of chilly. The staff was phenomenal and even let us move seats from near the door! Friendly but focused on quick, they did most of what they were supposed to do. Our issues really came with the food. The first plate was an egg and cheese sandwich, which was not given the choice of bread, and came with a side of hash browns. The sandwich cheese seemed like kraft sliced cheese so it was bleh. The hash browns were nice and crispy. The cinnamon rolls here are thicker bread and not very soft, nor have much cinnamon. It was unappetizing and $4. The second plate of Belgian waffle, eggs, and crispy bacon was a bit more well received. The waffle was easy to tear into, with a mountain of butter provided on top and a nice coating of powdered sugar. The bacon and eggs were good, though the eggs could have been a little less “juicy”. By the time we were done, it was okay. I think the reason it is not a 4-star rating is because their veggies are pre-mixed and so that removes like half the options off the menu for us. Don’t cut corners because it leaves us wanting for more choices and better quality. We would be willing to come back and try again but they would need to change up some things first.
Michael W — Google review
Best breakfast in the area. They had a good selection of items on the menu for the price. Slow service as they got a large party in the back which slowed the restaurant to a crawl. I believe they forgot our order and then remembered as we were served after people who were seated 10 min after we were. Country fried steak was great though. The breeding to meat ratio was the best I've had in a long time. The scrambled eggs were a little funny though. Overall will be back next time we're up this way.
Brandon K — Google review
It took awhile for my food, and when it came the bacon was inedible and undercooked. The eggs weren’t prepared right either, had to send em back. The coffee was warm water with dark color added, no flavor. When my food came back the bacon had that disgusting gristle flavor to it and the meat was over cooked like it was popped into the microwave. Eggs had the same flavor, probably from the grill? Who knows. My wife’s poached eggs came hard boiled without any runny yolk, which is what you expect from poached eggs. Maybe don’t eat here? Might have just been an off day judging from the positive reviews. But I don’t have anything nice to say about this visit and probably won’t be trying them again unless I get backed into a corner. Pretty disappointing considering the kid claimed they had the “best eggs” when I got here and they didn’t manage to even prepare them properly. A lot of work needs to be done with quality control in this kitchen. Good luck.

SkyPark at Santa's Village is a forested park in the mountains that offers a combination of holiday tradition and mountain thrill. After being closed for nearly 20 years, it was purchased, restored, and re-imagined as an adventure park with activities such as biking, zip lining, rock climbing, and ice skating. The 230-acre park provides fun for all ages and includes seasonal activities and adrenaline-inducing adventures.
Beautiful setting for a wedding, which I had the pleasure of officiating. The wedding coordinator for the day was extremely aMAZing. I couldn't have asked for someone better. We'll be back!

It was really cute, but not worth it unless you’re there to ride bikes, and have children. It’s very children focused. I could see kids from the ages of 4/5-20 having a blast here. There’s bike trails and rental, pedal powered go karts for the family. A sky bike you can ride around the park. Unfortunately we made it there around 4pm, and despite the park closing at 9pm, most of the shops in the park close at 4, including the zipline. So after spending $130 for my fiancé and myself to attend, and $50 for a BBQ platter. We both decided we wouldn’t return until we had children. It is a very cute little theme park though, and would be even better in the winter.

If you're looking for a place where half the activities are either broken, closed, or booked out within minutes of opening, this park delivers. Came mainly for the zip line, turns out my younger son, despite meeting the advertised age, was too light. Not that it mattered. No one around us managed to get a booking anyway. Blink and it's all gone for the day. The magic show? Let's just say my nephew's backyard performance last month had better pacing and fewer awkward silences. Waited an hour for the sky bike. Got two minutes of slow movement and regret. Asked to use the toilet before paying for entry - got refused. Funny enough, that ended up being my favorite experience of the day. Oh, and the surprise parking fees? Almost admire the boldness. Almost. If you planned to see Santa in a Santa park ... wrong place wrong timing too Total waste of time and money. Would give zero stars if that were an option. Borderline of being a scam none of my friend like it, from toddler and 7yo, to 12+ and parents.

We never got to see Santas Village and neither did the kids and Nor did the Grandkids. It was sad but at 49.00 per child and 59.00 per adult and 10 of us that's 500.00 to get in and that did not include the rides. It was only the entrance fee. What's a Mother to do. We all thought it was a great idea. Take cute pictures with Santa make memories with the kids. It never happened the children were crying the parents were frustrated and Santa did not look too happy. This Santa must be really wonderful, but, a thousand dollars was just more than we wanted to pay for a quick sit on Santas lap and a Candy Cane. What is happening to our world when we can not take our kids to see Santa. A thousand dollars I would rather take that money and buy what the ask Santa for but I don't know because the kids never got to tell good old Santa what they wanted. Would you pay that amount just to sit on Santas lap please let me know. We did take the kids to the Mall to see Santa but it was not the same. Very unhappy about the North Pole Santa. Please let us know what you think. Thanks

This is the biggest ripoff on the mountain!!! Admission for 2 kids under 10 and 1 adult was $180!!!! Then on top of that they charged $15 for parking in a huge wide open parking lot. The most annoying part was the board showing what attractions were open and which ones were closed- they ALL said open where you paid. But once you got in, literally 1/2 of the attractions were closed! Things were charged extra even though they said everything was free once admission was paid! $7 to decorate a cookie!!!! Food was super expensive too. $56 for two kids chicken finger meals!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL - not worth the outrageous prices.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled after my experience at SkyPark. To put it simply: it was a total waste of time. What was advertised as an exciting, adventure-filled day turned out to be underwhelming and poorly managed. The activities were either overcrowded or not operational. Long wait times, disorganized staff, and unclear directions made the whole experience frustrating. The place felt more like a tourist trap than an actual adventure park. For the price paid, the value just wasn’t there. If you’re considering going, I’d suggest saving your money and your time. There are far better options out there if you’re looking for a fun and active day out.

We love the bike park and camping. We are season pass holders, bought our grandkids season passes and purchased a bike at the bike shop. Our grandkids, 7 and 8, forgot their wristbands today. They charged us $5 for each additional pass. That’s not right for season pass holders!!! They need to rethink this bad policy!

Love Skypark! Remember going to Santa's Village as a kid and even then thinking it was run down (80s and 90s). Now with kids of my own and a son who got into mountain biking, was excited to return. The trails are great! From beginner to advanced, there are options. You can ride an analog bike just fine, but definitely gotta be in shape. Prob about a 400-500 ft elevation gain to get to top. Which isnt bad but add in you're at 5k elevation, you can get out of breath. For kids, they can wear down after a couple laps depending on age/fitness. Ebike (available for rental) + tow ($50) rope helps get in a lot more laps. Santas Village itself is fun. Not a ton to do but enough. Ziplining is a blast(reserve a spot the moment you walk in), recently opened b-line (long line builds up fast), etc. We love the flyfishing but not the new policy (have to rent poles now if you go without a guide, used to be free). Food is great and good sized portions. We love the BBQ but its more hit or miss these days. Last Summer/Fall it was amazing but it started not tasting right the past 6 months so we went back to Pizza/Sandwiches at Kringles. The characters deserve all the praise and raises! My daughter and Wife don't ride but they continue to praise how amazing the characters are. They are welcoming, stay in characters crack jokes, very patient, and more. We miss TJ but everyone is still amazing.

Nestled in the charming Rimforest, CA, The Original Cottage Restaurant has been delighting diners since 1976 with its authentic Italian cuisine. This family-friendly eatery serves up a variety of beloved dishes, including chicken Piccata and generously stuffed pizzas that are sure to satisfy any appetite. Guests rave about the quick service and friendly staff who ensure a pleasant dining experience.
Great pizza 🍕 and great salads. The server was nice and did a wonderful job. They serve so many different foods I'm going to have to go back many times to try them all. I saw a review that complained about the pricing but we have to realize that it's 2018 and mountain life costs a little bit more than down the hill and remember that the plates are loaded with enough food for a couple of meals. The picture shows a 14 inch medium pizza and the salad oval plate is 14 inches wide so we got at least 4 meals (probably 6-8) for less than 40.00......so enjoy anything you order because you probably will eat more of it later. Oh, and they serve breakfast until 3pm.

First time at The Original Cottage. Nice cozy little place. The staff was uber friendly. The food wonderful with a homemade flair. Very happy to be introduced to the Cottage, will be returning.

The cottage was the best recommendation that we acted on. We got a cheese pizza for the kids and they just loved it. We also got the Lasagna pizza and the bacon chicken ranch pizza. I can't say enough about how good both pizza's were. We live down the mountain and will be going back for this place. The service was awesome and friendly. Can't wait till this "pandemic" is over so we can go and sit and experience the full effect that is "The Original Cottage Restaurant" Last thing I'll say is the Lasagna pizza is nothing short of a authentic Italian restaurant dish just in a pizza form. So so good.

They told us it would be 30-45 minutes for two calzones and some garlic knots. Wow! These have to be some good items, right? So we sit there for about 30 minutes before we go to check on it at the register m. It was sitting on the counter, a receipt poking out the side, it said my name with “is waiting”. That was interesting but hey, whatever. I go to pay and she says it’s about $40. Wow again! Okay, these had better be good. First off, the calzones are massive. Likely 2-3 adults could work on just one, but we did not know that and had bought two plus some garlic knots. The calzones are really cheesy, the chicken parmigiana a nice breaded chicken with savory herbs. The vegetarian calzone had a low veggie content so vegetarians beware! The garlic knots are really balanced with the butter and cheese, and are nearly as addicting as you would think they are. One small issue is that the tips of the knots are dry or tough. Not sure how that happens but the centers are delicious. Not many vegetarian options so you may need to look elsewhere.

McDonald's is a well-known fast-food chain famous for its burgers, fries, and shakes. In 2021, visitors found it to be a bit busy but peaceful with an outside balcony offering great views of the lake. Ordering at the kiosk minimized interaction with staff who were friendly. Despite challenges in finding parking, the overall experience was enjoyable. The location offers stunning views of Lake Arrowhead and serves food quickly despite being crowded.

Very rude customer service I asked for sauce for my chicken nuggets because I bought three meals so I asked for spicy buffalo the lady in the front short, chubby girl threw a spicy buffalo inside my bag when I asked her for her name she turned around and walked away. Then I asked the manager for her name and the manager was being pretty rude about it. There was another customer there that witnessed as well and told the manager, but the manager ignored us and didn’t want to give us information of that person‘s name so we can report them to corporate. Smh. I live here and I come here for my little ones.

We had breakfast up here in the Village yesterday. This McDonald's is located on the lower level of the village and very easy to get to with lots of parking close by. The line was quick and the person taking our order was friendly. We got the pancakes with sausage breakfast and the egg mcmuffin with hash browns and coffee. The food was pretty good. They have outdoor and indoor seating which overlooks the lake.

In addition to the wide array of ice cream flavors, the shop also offers sugar cones, waffle cones, and even chocolate-dipped options with sprinkles.
A Hidden Gem in Lake Arrowhead! I can't say enough good things about Village Ice Cream and Sweet Shoppe! Their ice cream is absolutely top-notch—creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor. It’s clear they put a lot of care into offering high-quality treats. And the hot coffee? Just perfect—smooth, warm, and exactly what we needed to complement the chilly mountain evening. What really stood out, though, was their incredible service. We arrived a bit late, not realizing they had already closed, but they still welcomed us with warm smiles and served us without hesitation. That level of kindness and dedication to their customers is rare these days and made our experience truly unforgettable. If you're in Lake Arrowhead, don't miss this spot. Horrible experience on 07/05/2025 at 3:21pm. I ordered two pineapple ice cream soft serve on a cake cone, while getting to the cash register for payment, I made sure to let Anela (cashier, according to the receipt) what I ordered and showed her the ice cream cones. She completed the credit card transaction and asked me if I needed my receipt which I said yes. Outside, while enjoying my ice cream, I noticed that she over charged me, adding items I didn’t order. I went back to the store, she double checked and said that it was a mistake. I noticed that she was heavily breathing while fixing the transaction and I strongly don’t believe that it was a mistake. The prices on the menu are not same on the cash register, for example a pineapple soft serve priced at $6.00 they will charge you $6.24 plus $0.85 for a cake cone + $0.75 non cash fee. This is definitely not a honest business, I will never go back to that store.

Cute little ice cream shop in the Lake Arrowhead Village. Even though it's January, they were still open and serving ice cream! My kids eat got a dipped cone with a scoop of ice cream. The scoops were generous, and my kids said the ice cream was delicious. We think next time they might try the super fancy shakes, but it would be a treat they'd need to split. The shop also serves hot drinks and has other small things to buy (like pop-its).

Was recommended to come here and see Casey for his amazing Old Fashioneds—and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! One of the best restaurants we had to visit while in Lake Arrowhead. The croque madam was amazing, the cheese and ham was perfectly melted for the lady. I got the eggs benedict with the addition of salmon on top (special request) and they did it perfectly. The drinks are for the most part tiki inspired but the Thai Spiked Ice tea was awesome. The views on the patio were also amazing. Service was amazing and the food was killer, will definitely be back!

They were busy for lunch/dinner time the day after July 4 and communicated to us our food would take awhile due to short staffing. They were friendly and didn’t appear too stressed with us despite the issue. It actually didn’t take that long for our food to come out after ordering. The ambiance is pleasant with a tropical touch. We sat outside and it was hot! Definitely try to sit inside during summer time if you can. Their outdoor umbrellas don’t block the sun that well. The food was decent. My fries were a little uncooked and my burger was lacking a little flavor. Beachfire Burger: 3.5/5 Huli Huli Chicken: 4/5 Grilled Mahi Mahi: 3.5/5 (Mahi Mahi was a little bland) Mushroom Ravioli: 4/5 Piña Colada: 4/5 Watermelon Chili Margarita: 4/5

We randomly found the best spot in Lake Arrowhead 😏 we decided to do a road trip 🚗 from OC right after the gym. We walked around the lake, stopped at the Coach store and we found Sunsets 🌅 Island Bar. The food was amazing! I got the shrimp tacos ( lettuce wraps of course 🤭) . Talking to Arturo felt just like home 🏡… he gave us so many ideas of what to do after our dinner. And of course we are going to Mackay Park 📌 We are so coming back to Sunsets Island Bar and Grill so we can experience the sunset from the lake as we drive a good glass of Sauvignon blanc. And we will for sure end up at the little bar that’s connected … that place look like so much fun… I am so ready to dance 💃

This WAS a great place to grab a burger and fries. The new company/ management has no love for thier food or care for the business. We just picked up dinner that had two flat, no syrup diet cokes with re heated burger combos. Cheese was hard on the outside and burger buns very hard as if they were re heated. Onion ring had been in the burger so long it created a ring in the top bun. My wife’s lettuce was so old we just took it off the sandwich. This is worth 27.00 dollars!! I almost want to call for a full refund. 🤔 so sad to see this burger joint fall to pieces. I do hope the management wake up and take action with strict guidelines and awareness. They took over and have had no presence on our mountains social media. Sad to see no one In line any more. Attached are my images of the newly picked up REHEATED dinner. You can do much better than this.

We have been eating there since they opened. Their food has always been tasty and seems to be crafted with high-quality ingredients. What prompts this review is the extreme rudeness with which I was treated today as I tried to place an order to go. The woman acted as though she was doing me a favor by even taking my order. I'm not accustomed to this sort of treatment at this restaurant but it was enough for me to not want to go back.

I have been going to Hot Shots ever since I moved here 5 years ago. The food, drinks, and service is great. I enjoy sitting outside with my dog while enjoying a salad and a glass of wine. My two adult sons also enjoy going there when they visit.

I admit I haven't been here since it was the Royal Oak, but when the service staff is eating while our party of 7 was waiting for our food after being here 2hrs, is unacceptable. We got 1 plate every 20 min and we finally had to get the last order to go because we couldn't wait any longer. We took our own drink and food orders, and we kept hearing apologies. They did take some of the bill, but I won't be back.

We were a party of 7!!! We had to go to the bar and order our drinks. We also had to go to the bar and order our food. The first person got their food. No one else got their food for 20 minutes. Then 2 more of us got served! The last person after two hours of being there still did not receive her food we asked for it to go and someone who came in 30 minutes after us got there to go food and we did not get ours!

Talk about the best place in town! This gem has the whole package. Amazing food, wonderful service (Thanks Mike!!!), we got the chicken strips, done to perfection crispy and golden. Couldn’t be happier with the prices. For the location, ambiance, and all around vibe of this spot, I am extremely impressed and will frequent the location. Highly recommended.

A local dive bar if there ever was a local dive bar. The bartender was friendly but could definitely tell this was a local stop spot. We ordered two of the most basic, classic drinks you could and they were both average at best. The best part about our drinks was they were served in the right glass. If you need a quick fix and some dive bar food, this is the place for you

Very cool vibe. But I wish they had some local beer offerings. Closest local was hangar 24 which is good but I can get that most places. Onion rings are bomb.

American restaurant
Nestled in the picturesque Lake Arrowhead Village, Woody's Boat House Restaurant is a delightful American eatery that specializes in mouthwatering seafood dishes. With its inviting atmosphere and stunning views of the serene lake, it’s an ideal spot for families to gather for lunch, dinner, or a leisurely Sunday brunch. The menu caters to all tastes; while seafood lovers can indulge in fresh catches, there are also kid-friendly options like pizza and a vibrant soup and salad bar.
Had lunch there on a Sunday notice a brunch going on but ended up ordering a sandwich and had the salad bar, the server was real nice and put us in a nice Window Seat quickly, they had a really nice salad bar with a good variety of toppings and some good soup as well, the waitress was a real nice as well I would definitely go back again.

Fish and chips was good. But i had bad memory. Manager was awful, A short hair came out on the sandwich. I was dissapointed at their attitude about the issue. The manager curtly replied "What hair? I don't see any hair here" The manager then quickly asks a passing server if she also saw hair or not.

I went here about a year ago for brunch. The price was on par with most brunch buffets, around $20 per person. The food was rather bland. Best thing was the pancake station and the dessert. I'll give 1 star for that. The other star is for the location and view you get while eating. It's great looking over the lake and relaxing in a comfortable seat. I am willing to come back and try again when I am in the area, again. If it improves I will change my rating.

Woody's has a great view, but there's not much more good to say about it. We visited here two days in a row. On the first day our service has outrageously bad. Drinks didn't come, even after repeated reminders. The salad bar was out of multiple items. The second day we had the Sunday brunch, and while it was decent, it was over priced. Service was better this time with a very friendly waitress. I don't I would go back again. The McDonalds around the corner is probably a better choice.

Don't eat here! My wife and I came up to Arrowhead to enjoy the day an celebrate our Anniversary. We were seated fairly quickly outside. We waited for 25 minutes for a server. My wife went in to get someone out and still no server. The other couple on the patio left. Walked in and no one assisted us. I dropped the menus at the bar and asked to talk to the manager. I was informed there was no manager. They could have cared less we were not served, no one to help, and rude... the salad bar looked like it was three days old... the owner needs a reality check. No Woody stars here....
Dwight S — Google review
The food was mid quality bar food. Price was way too high for what you are being served. Service was what you could expect on a Thursday night with only one server trying to cover all the tables. There were other employees who could have helped her out but didn't. I certainly won't go back. Overall going to McDonald's would have been a better choice for price vs. value.

This place has great Sunday brunch and has beautiful view of the lake. It can be very busy during the holiday, so reservation is a must. We enjoy spending our Sunday morning here on none holiday weekend. Holiday weekend is just too hectic - especially when you're up in the mountain looking for peace and quiet. Price can be a bit steep, but the food is delicious.

It did take a little longer for a waiter to come serve us than your used to but once she did, she was quite attentive and served us well. I had a cheeseburger and fries. The burger came with fresh cut onions, tomatoes and shredded lettuce. I enjoyed it. It wouldn't win any awards but tasted fine.

Don't trust the hours that are showing here. I pulled up at exactly 8pm on a Saturday night and the lights inside were on but they had already turned off the neon OPEN sign. I pulled out my phone to check their hours because I know they stay open til 9pm. Sure enough, it says 9pm on Saturdays here but they closed up an hour early.

My only problem is that they allow dogs in there, and it's a super small place. Unfortunately, dog owners don't keep their dogs from jumping on other people, it's unsanitary, and some people are allergic. But my sub was good and the folks behind the counter were nice.
Nikki — Google review
We came here on a Friday night during dinner time. It was very busy. Chase, the guy behind the counter was moving! He was the only one working at the time and he made 3 of our giant subs, a pick up order, and 3 other people's orders. He literally cleared the room in 10-15 minutes. Super impressed, and he was very kind to everyone that came in. He also told us about the Jersey Mikes app. Amazing customer service 👏 👌 🙌 👍

I've been to a few Jersey Mike's. This was one was sad. That's the only way to describe the one in Lake Arrowhead Village, just sad. The were out of or discontinued many of the things that my family and I liked about Jersey Mike's.
Robert E — Google review
My first time at Jersey Mike’s and ordered the original Italian- the most scrumptious sandwich ever! Thank you!
Anne M — Google review
Generally disappointing. Been going to Jersey Mike's for 30 years starting with my first experiences on the east coast. Ordered 3 giant subs. From the beginning mistakes were made with which subs went on which type of bread. A pretty long line started to form (about 10 people behind me) so an employee started taking orders on a pad from people behind me. Multiple employees started assembling subs for people behind me. This caused quite the disorganized mess as different employees were reaching over the top of the person making my subs for ingredients. This just made finishing my subs correctly, more difficult. Then when I paid I noticed that this location charges quite the premium compared to other locations. A $13.95 sub at another location will cost $18.95 here. I am a mountain local and getting to this location along with the parking nightmare that Lake Arrowhead village can be takes about 25 minutes. Not sure why in the future I wouldn't drive 5 minutes farther and save $15 by driving to a Jersey Mike's in the valley.
Cal E — Google review
We all know that Jersey Mike's is pretty good. I ordered online, came in to pick up a few minutes after my designated time and had to wait over 15 minutes to get my two sandwiches. I watched people come into the store order get their sandwiches made and leave while I was waiting. I asked three times about my sandwiches in each time was told dismissively they're working on it. They weren't working on it. Really terrible service, so dismissive, I'll be going back to Jensen's from now on.

Establishment is clean with lots of bamboo and tiki. Table Servers were absent, but the bartender was friendly and tried to cover the bar and tables. He also offered to make accommodations to the cocktails which were not well balanced. Three Mai Tais all tasted differently: one too sour, one too little orgeat, and one too much lime. The Jet Pilot cocktail balance was way off. The bartender was observed pouring by eye without measuring with a jigger. As Trader Vic used to say, "Follow the recipe." However, the Spice Runner was good but on the sweet side from a bit too much passionfruit syrup.
Kananaka — Google review
Drinks and atmosphere are great, food not so much. I’m pretty sure the vegetarian harumaki we ordered was just frozen Costco spring rolls, which isn’t terrible I suppose but to charge that much for frozen costco food and say it’s something else is crazy. In an attempt to find something better we also ordered the salmon and the chicken but both I think were equally disappointing. I would hope the actual restaurant next door has better food but it does not seem promising from that experience. Our bartender was also extremely inattentive but it seemed that the others who were working that night were aware of this and everyone else was very helpful and friendly

Hortencia's at the Cliffhanger is a laid-back Mexican restaurant with a charming brick-lined interior and an outdoor patio offering stunning views of the San Bernardino region. The authentic Mexican cuisine and enticing drink specials make it a favorite stop along the Rim of the World Highway. While some visitors have noted areas for improvement in terms of cleanliness and service, many praise the delicious steak fajitas and recommend visiting during sunset to enjoy the breathtaking views.
My wife and my friend both had the Cadillac margaritas which they absolutely loved! My chicken burrito was tasty. My wife had two crispy beef tacos, and my friend chili verde. Of course, we sat by the window and had an amazing view for half our meal, and then the fog rolled in blocking it out, which was super cool to watch. All the staff was super courteous and friendly and very attentive.
Evan G — Google review
The best part for this location is definitely the view. The food was a little plain and needed more flavors. My dish came with a pork tamale and was nothing close to an average tamale. You get better street tamales. The rice wish is a Mexican rice was not even Mexican rice, looks Mexican but not authentic. Overall, if I come back, it would be for the view and a drink, maybe to try the shrimp cocktail.
Homero G — Google review
You are paying for the view, not the food. I added a picture of the burrito my son got with his meal. The kids meals go up to teen age and yet they are something my toddler would eat. There is no way this tiny burrito would fill up my 9 year old boy. When we asked for a bigger burrito they brought a giant one that even I couldn’t finish. The food was disappointing. The sauce was either bland or tasted off and salty. The cheese enchiladas had more cheese on the outside than the inside. Even the drinks were misleading, the cup looked huge but when transferred to a smaller cup didn’t even fill it half way. Beans and rice were bland. The chips and salsa were the best part of the meal and the view almost isn’t worth the food especially at what they charge for it. Oh speaking of the charge. They added to our receipt after we gave the card.. they had wrote in an added tip. We didn’t have an issue with a set tip amount but didn’t understand why they scribbled out the total and changed the amount after charging our card instead of having it on the bill they gave us. It made us very uncomfortable. Make a sign that people can read, or tell them verbally before you charge their card a completely different amount than the bill. Service wasn’t great either. Waiter kept coming back to ask us about our orders.

This place is awesome. Cool vibes with a view. We went November 2, 2025 around 4:30pm and it was busy. Parking was tight. Service was decent (it was busy). We sat down, ordered drinks, ate the chips and salsa, within 20 mins we were eating dinner. The only thing that was a bummer was the horchata was not great, it was missing sugar or something lol but overall, The price was fair for the amount of food you get. The food was bomb.com! Hit the spot!
Raymond L — Google review
As someone who travels the world often, I can confidently say this is one of the most breathtaking restaurant views I’ve ever seen. Overlooking endless green mountains, the scenery is simply unforgettable. I came during lunch and ordered the Fajita Trio (steak, shrimp, and chicken) — served sizzling hot with rice and sides. It was honestly one of the best grilled platters I’ve had. The flavors, spices, and presentation were all on point. The staff was incredibly friendly and quick. I even asked for takeout boxes, and they were more than helpful. Considering the view, the quality of the food, and the service — the price is very fair. Highly recommended — I left truly satisfied.
HAITHAM A — Google review
The views are great and the drive was not bad. If you do come here come in the am as the drive in the evening is not good. The food is not terrible but not great and it is a bit overpriced for what you get. But again you are paying for the experience. If you temper your expectations you won’t be disappointed. The menudo is all tripe and like $18 for a bowl and the chorizo and eggs was okay. This place is for the atmosphere. The views are spectacular and the service was fine, not great and not terrible just okay.
Ryan H — Google review
Where do I even begin? First off, the parking situation is a complete mess. With all the money this place is making, you’d think they could repaint the lines or design a safer lot. Instead, cars are crammed into every corner, doors get dinged, bumpers get hit, and customers are forced to step out into traffic flying by on the highway. It feels unsafe before you even walk inside. Once you get in, things don’t improve. The building is cramped, the floors had trash scattered around, and the check-in area looked like someone had just tossed menus everywhere. There was no indoor seating available we were told to wait an hour and the outdoor seating area didn’t feel stable. Every time someone walked by, the floor and tables shook, which was unsettling. The staff didn’t seem prepared. Tables were wiped down with dirty rags that smelled bad, and no disinfectant or proper cleaning products were used. I noticed spiderwebs in the window corners, under tables, and under chairs. The food was by far the biggest disappointment. We paid $137 for four plates, and none of it was worth the price. The guacamole was straight from a package, not fresh. The beans tasted like they came out of a can. Nothing felt homemade or authentic. The chicken was pink in the middle and didn’t appear grilled more like pan cooked and underdone. My asada plate was burned, and the street taco meat tasted like leftovers from the day before. The food was bland, lacked spice, and even the salsa was clearly store bought. Nothing screamed authentic Mexican food. This place seems more concerned with pushing people in and out than actually serving quality meals. TikTok and social media influencers have overhyped it, but in reality, it’s garbage when it comes to food. The only thing this place might be good for is grabbing a few beers that’s it. If you want real, authentic Mexican food, go to the street vendors in Highland. Don’t waste your time or your money here.
MAC S — Google review
Very beautiful view the staff was under seasoned just like the food the carne asada looked more like chicken it didn’t have much to it the server only came like once the prices are pretty high for being bland but the view is amazing social media really did over hype don’t see us coming back

With an inviting atmosphere suitable for families, this hidden gem comes highly recommended without any hesitation or reservation. Hailing from the high desert region, patrons are enveloped in an extraordinary vibe that enhances their dining experience.
We just went here tonight for an early dinner for my birthday. It was pretty quiet. We had the crab Rangoons and vegetable egg rolls to start and hot and sour soup. Delicious! All of it, was absolutely delicious. Great start. Then my son ordered the honey walnut shrimp and I'm vegetarian so I asked what was good. He recommended a dish and I let him know my favorite things were eggplant and tofu (they didnt have a dish with that). He asked if I liked it spicy I said yes. He said ok. Our order comes back my sons food was delicious but mine came back with meat. He forgot to X the meat. BUT not more than 5 min later he brought out my piping HOT and delicious and apologized. He let us keep both dishes so I'll take the one with meat to my co-workers as my son doesn't eat tofu. But I appreciate them letting me still keep the dish. After the meal an incredibly pleasant young woman comes out and brings us the bill with cookies I gave her my card. She asks if I would like a song I said "how about a birthday song since it's my birthday today". She asked what kind of ice cream I wanted and offered me different choices I chose the coconut. She came back and sang me an impromptu birthday song. My son and I just moved up here and this was such a great start to our year. A wonderful visit to this little restaurant. If you get a chance stop by. The food was great. You can't go wrong when you sit down and they give you that hot green tea! I love that! Thank you guys we will be back.

I give this restaurant a 4.5 if I could .the white rice had pieces of hard , either undercooked or dried out rice , which made it difficult to eat because I would suddenly bite down on a hard piece I have the mandarin hot plate which was very good and my husband had the chicken fried rice . I say order the friend rice everytime , tastes like it’s made to order . Will be trying more dishes in the future ! It’s nice and clean inside and low mellow music .

It turned out to be 65 bucks missing one soup only got one rice and the food tastes terrible don't ever go to this restaurant again. The owner is pathetic does not know how to be professional This Zero stars. Sorry that's not worth 65 bucks only got one rice one soup missing the plum sauce. The ribs were dry. The beef on a stick was dry really had no taste no flavor. I'm sorry not worth 65 bucks.

One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time and it’s all thanks to Wendy & the delicious food they serve here! I came in with my family and we ordered a wide variety — scallion pancakes (a must with the spicy beef), orange peel chicken (very tasty, homemade sauce and so much better than the usual takeout-style), szechuan garlic chicken, wonton soup, and veggie rice noodles. We found everything so delicious and can’t wait to come back again. Thank you again to Wendy for being so sweet and giving us great recommendations! Don’t hesitate to give this place a try when you’re in town!

Mandarin Gardens has improved the look of their restaurant by finally getting rid of the old, stained carpet and replaced it with engineered vinyl flooring. It looks a million times better and I no longer have to worry about what I'm stepping on, haha. Their food is some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. I'm always a fan!

Weird experience. Food wasn’t great. It was pricey for what you get. The waiter/host was on his phone watching or playing something with the volume up. That was annoying. Overall, not a good vibe. Won’t be going back.

Arturo's Restaurant offers a clean and cozy atmosphere with attentive service. The chicken enchiladas and chicken soup are recommended, although some suggest using a different cut of chicken in the soup to avoid dryness. The menu includes smaller portion options with rice and beans, making it convenient for those looking for lighter meals. Guests also praise the tasty chips and salsa as well as the reasonably priced dishes.
We ordered the Monster Burrito and it took up the whole plate. You choose the meat, we had chicken, and the rice, beans and cheese came inside. It had half red and half green sauce on the outside. It tasted good and was plentiful. We also ordered extra rice which was about a dinner salad size bowl. They have outdoor dining during COVID. It's in Blue Jay as you come into town. Plenty of parking and an elevator for handicapped access, other wise it's about 6 steps up the patio. Prices are reasonable.

Really good chips and salsa! Reasonably priced, friendly service. I like that they have smaller meals on the a la carte menu that still include rice and beans. Just s smaller portion. I had the cheese enchilada and it was pretty good. My friends said that the carne asada burrito was pretty yummy as well.

Just so you all know the server was attentive and really nice. That's the only reason I gave it 2 stars. The food however was not very good to us. It also took about a half hour to get our food to us. We were the only 5 people in there. I ordered the monster burrito that would have been good, but it was between cool and just barely warm. The shrimp cocktail they served was in a glass that was warm which made the shrimp cocktail pretty warm, gross. I asked for another and they gave us another but it pretty much was the same. We also ordered 2 cheeseburgers that came with french fries, when they brought those out there were probably 15 french fries on their plates and they weren't even done all the way. We also ordered the asada plate, now that was decent except for the rice and beans, no flavor. No one wanted to leave the server a tip but it wasn't his fault the food wasn't very good. I left him a tip. The price was pretty high ( $76 ). Needless to say we won't be going back there.

Place was clean, and definitely not cold, as stated before, lol. Good chicken enchiladas; wife ordered a chicken soup, it had good flavor. However, my wife being an awesome cook herself, would suggest they not use chicken breast in chicken soups, tends to be dry. The server was attentive. As mentioned in a prior review, the server is young, definitely not over 21...but nothing to complain about. Overall the food was good.
M Q — Google review
Food is decent but portions are small. Service was terrible, we waited over 30 minutes for our order for 5; order was wrong (sausage and cheese omelet delivered with no sausage); hair in my food and was told could not refund the charge, but would bring me another plate. Food for 5 was presented over 5 minutes. All this and the restaurant was basically empty. I will never return!!

I came in one day with my mom for dinner. I had ordered the monster burrito and when it came I was truly impressed by its size. Unfortunately that is all I was impressed by. The food was bland, the meat was over cooked, and the veggies had no seasoning to them. For the price that I had paid for it, I was hoping for a better quality. I was not the only one who was unimpressed by there food, my mother also found that their tacos where bland. I am unlikely to ever return and so is my mother. I was hoping for so much more but it just fell short. I hope they will one day improve their food.

The food was edible, not great. What made it worse was the service. The young man who seated us and took our order had no personality and gave off the impression he didn't want to be there. I wish I would have read these reviews before we ate here because most of them were spot on. One good thing the bathroom was clean. I'm leaving this review in hopes the management would see it and make some positive changes.

We should have read the reviews before visiting. Portions are small and bland and quite pricey for what you get. Atmosphere and food was a bit like a cafeteria. Servers were a bit un attentive. We did have to flag down for a refill on drinks.

Tudor House, located in Lake Arrowhead, is a historic Tudor-style building dating back to the 1920s. It was known for its prohibition-era entertainment and rumored mobster management. Today, it offers classic American fare and hosts various performances. Visitors can enjoy a Sunday brunch with a variety of food options and interact with the friendly staff. The venue also offers an all-you-can-eat brunch experience with the option to add mimosas.
The atmosphere, so much fun! The service AAA. The staff is very sweet & kind. Dinner and a live show. A must for everyone!

Quaint is the exact word I would use for the experience. The building over all is probably more suitable for spring weather. It's definitely not suited for the winter. I can't comment on how well it would function in the summertime because I didn't experience the air conditioning.

Omg!!!! This Sunday the kids and I had the pancakes and eggs!!!! These pancakes are at the same level as solvang!!!! Without the 4 hour drive and when you ask for the eggs subside up the chef listens to you and just doesn’t throw an over cooked fried egg on the plate. They are known for their smash burgers but my kids love going on Friday nights to their karaoke, super family friendly and super fun. Totally would recommend. Can’t wait to see the wrestling show they have coming up and they have a bartender that does magic tricks. Very happy with this local spot,

Wish I could give it zero stars. Don’t have a wedding here! My best friend had her wedding here in 2023 and it was a nightmare from the beginning. She confronted Brian about the other negative reviews and he did a good job convincing her to ignore those reviews but sure enough we found out they were truthful. Her family paid the main bill and were charged $450 fee for using a card but according to Google they aren’t allowed to charge over 4% in CA. After the deposit was paid by the parents, Brian called the bride asking for more money for his coordinator and officiant duties to be sent to him personally so he could take his family on a trip. I found out later that the owner hasn’t paid his employees in a month so that explains why Brian kept asking my friends for more money. My friend paid Brian $2000 to be her coordinator so she didn’t have to stress about the wedding planning, working and going to school. Well Brian failed. He said he’d call her weekly and didn’t. When he did call her he would just go on and on about his family. I as the Maid of Honor did most of the work for this wedding and barley enjoyed the event because I was decorating the whole thing, and then my husband the best man, was the one who made sure the wedding events all happened and directed everyone. The day of, Brian spent the whole day just washing and putting out the chairs for the ceremony. Idk why it takes all day for that but he did. Then after the ceremony he was MIA the rest of the evening. John the owner didn’t see the problem with booking a big fundraiser with a live band on the same grounds and time as the ceremony. They had a yellow tent set up right behind the alter which would ruin her pictures. They finally found some black curtains to hang up to separate the events but it looked very tacky. Even the other event was furious because they new for months about it but Brian didn’t tell the bride until a couple of weeks before the wedding which is too late to cancel. Every time my friend or I confronted Brian about something he never says sorry and he never says thank you when we do something he asked for. We always had to ask several times for him to do something as the coordinator. We were all so very stressed and busy, so the extra money for Brian coordinating was a waste. Tammy the chef was the only one who came through even though she was paying for the food herself because the owner wasn’t paying her back and she was kind enough to not want to ruin this wedding. The Manner across the street where we stayed the night ($1200 extra) was a disaster as well. Missing lightbulbs, broken showers, no mirrors to get ready except for bride, stains on blankets, no soap to wash dishes, piles of trash in the back…etc. I could go on and on but just want to warn future brides in case you don’t have the friends and family like my friend did to help save the day.

I have a Group named DAP. We play at The Tudor House first Saturday of the month. The place gets rocking! Ken the new owner is as cool as can be and the new vibe in the place is great! If you're ever up in the Southern Cali mountains area, drop in to The Tudor House. It's a good time for not a lot of money. Our next gig is July 5th, 7 to 10pm. Drop in!!

Went there for Sunday Brunch. They have a variety of salads, fruits salad, variety of quiches, grilled vegetables, variety of meat dishes, and many breakfast selections, including fruit crepe and omelet bar prepared by the head chef Michael Diaz. There's a roast that will be cut for you by the assistant chef Art. The all you can eat brunch there is $25. If you opt for the mimosa, it will be $30. Had the chance to speak with John, the owner. He stated that the place is going through some restructuring currently. The recent bad weather have wreaked havoc on his business. He said that originally his plans for the place was to have it be a playhouse and dinner theater. That is still what he dreamed for this historical place. The Tudor House is open to hold events for nonprofits, corporate, bands, and weddings. Currently they try to have events plan on the weekends at least 3 to 4 times per month. When the weather permits, they will be operating more days. Please call or check their website.

Absolutely delightful brunch, with fantastic food, lovely music, and the friendliest of servers. The Tudor House goes above and beyond in their services. For $30 a brunch/$35 champagne brunch, you might as well go with the champagne (if you drink) because the extra $5 goes a long way in champagne! Unlimited drinks and food, with live piano playing make for such a sweet morning. The style of this building is Tudor but they go by so much more than just the style. The waiters and waitresses all dress in formal black and white attire, which is a small part in how amicable they are to you. They constantly make sure you are okay or are filling up your drinks to keep you going. The food is delicious, with you able to go up and get whatever you want, as often as you want. Quick note on the food, it is well put together and definitely chef-inspired, from flambayed berries for your crepes, to delicatessen cheeses and bruschetta, to crispy bacon and cinnamon buns, you will find stuff (vegetarian and otherwise) to suit your needs. Stations include the waffle station for fresh crepes and Belgians waffles; the omelette station for custom omelettes; the party tray station for cheeses and finger foods; the station with rice pilaf, bacon, cinnamon buns, mashed potatoes, etc. ; and finally the dessert station, with cakes, freshly slice fruits, and other wonderful sweet things. For the price, this place is fantastic.

Subway is a popular casual counter-serve chain known for its build-your-own sandwiches and salads. The restaurant offers a variety of health-conscious options, making it a great choice for those looking for customizable and nutritious meals on the go.
We are staying nearby in the local hotel and wanted a sandwich-so to subway it was! It was a rainy day and were greeted happily by the two employees working. They were diligent in taking our orders and even suggested some of the specials. The food was decent, on par with other subways we've been to. It was nice to hear friendly "hello's" to everyone who came in, and you can tell that a few of them are employees of shops nearby since many customers were known by name. Great experience for us!
Charles P — Google review
No one is exaggerating when they say this is the worst subway ever. It is, and it’s 100% the fault of the manager/franchise owner. Most of the employees are teenagers, who the management did not bother to train, does not treat them well, and expects them to run the place with no adult employees or management present half the time. Because they are untrained teenagers, they never refill the fountain beverage machine, they never have meat or cheese, and the bread and cookies are over baked and hard. They also close before operating hours are over. This location needs better management because there is something very wrong happening and all these kids are taking the blame when it’s not their fault.
Bear W — Google review
You can't beat taking a good subway sandwich for a hike or just sitting by the lake. Its fun to do whenever I go to Arrowhead. But my God, the last visit I had in this place probably 1.5 years ago. I hope they improved. Sticky floors whatever... It was the staff making the sandwiches that was bizarrely SLOW. I came into the Subway with only 5 or 6 people in front of me in line. I got my sandwich about 45 MINUTES+ LATER. There were 3 people working the sandwich counter and register, as usual in subways. By 20 something minutes I just stayed, committed to it, but other people that joined the line behind me even just left the place. People in line were talking about it, how slow it was going. The guy was laying the tomatoes down very tenderly and slowly like he was making love to your sandwich, I dont know what is wrong with these people. They looked like high school/early college age I guess, probably hated their job, it sure looked like it. Not professional to be honest. Good thing they keep energy drinks up at the register with the chips. You might need an energy boost from waiting in line all day.
Magister P — Google review
Every time I have come here they are always out of either vegetables, meat or bread. The staff is really nice but who ever does the ordering of the food needs to learn how to. Today they were out of tomatoes and steak and some sauces by 3pm. The place is open till 8 so to be running out of food items that early is bad running of a establishment. Not sure if I will go back because not once have I gotten what I wanted to order. Someone should do their job correctly when ordering.
Marie O — Google review
This is probably the worst visit I've ever had to a Subway. The staff was functionally nice but it was obvious that this was just a robotic routine that they went through. The soft drinks all tasted more of soda water than of drink flavoring. There was only one customer in the store before we came in and two employees behind the counter yet somehow they were too busy to clean the dining area. Every table had at least crumbs on it and several had condiment spills as well. One table looked as if it had been the scene of a food fight. The biggest surprise was what I saw when I was playing. There were several ants wandering around near the register. Finding a small ant trail running alongside our dining table thus came as no shock. Unless you are really dying for a sandwich and the rest of the village is snowed in, do not eat here.
Eric P — Google review
I lived at Lake Arrowhead for a number of years and visited this store a few times. This place has the laziest, most incompetent employees ever. Apparently it’s too complicated for them to heat up meatballs because they never have them at any hour. Service is slow as hell and they close whenever they feel like. My expectations are low enough for Subway in general but this place manages to be a special embarrassment to the chain.
Takeshi K — Google review
Very unprofessional service, We ask veggie sub and they used contaminated knife with meat. The people working were undertrained for provide customer service, seem like they loved their job. Looked like college grad. I would never prefer for subway at same location. Sorry subway you lost a customer today.

Subway's "Express Pickup" is a complete failure! I don't want this to reflect on the crew in the store who were doing their best, this is a complaint about how subway has set up their "Express Pickup" I ordered and paid online but when I got to the store was told to wait in the very long completely NOT socially distancing line in order to pick up my order which was meant to be ready already. I ordered online because I had my mother with me who has Alzheimer's and didn't want her to have to wait in the car for me very long while I got our lunch and also, Duh!, because we are not supposed to be crowded together in restaurants right now. When I finally got up to the counter I found my order wasn't even ready yet because I had asked for guacamole on my sandwich and they were out of guacamole. I provided both my email address and cell phone number when I made the order, why was I not contacted about the guacamole situation so my order could be ready when I got there? AND I was charged for guacamole and didn't get it because I paid online. Get it together Subway or close down until you do.

This family-owned market is renowned for its specialty foods and homemade baked goods, alongside the freshest meats, seafood, and produce available.
I stopped here on the way out of town because it’s almost fall & I wanted some pie. I ended up getting some apple crisp and no joke, might be the best apple crisp I’ve ever had. Not too sweet, and apples are so fresh. Large portion for a good price! I will have dreams about it after I eat it all with my vanilla ice cream!

We came in because of the great reviews for the ready-to-go meals, but honestly, they didn’t look very fresh or appetizing in person. The deli case glass could definitely use a good cleaning—it might help the food look more appealing. That said, the employees were incredibly helpful and friendly, which we really appreciated! Also, the $10 s’mores kit was a nice find—perfect for people who just want a smaller amount without overdoing it.

Jensen’s has a lot of high end hard to find foodie foods like fancy dried pastas and high end sauces. Their produce is super nice. The items they carry, they tend to have quite a variety that includes some high end products as well. There is a really nice on-site Starbucks. Everyone there is very friendly. However, with the above said, they are not the cheapest alternative for shopping. We go there when we are looking for something a little out of the ordinary, and they usually have it.

Shopping at this Jensen's for groceries is such a pleasure! Our second home is in Lake Arrowhead and it is always so welcoming to grab our weekend goodies at such a friendly and relaxed environment with all the best options, including organic which is very important to us. We are vegan and gluten free and were delighted to discover gluten free pretzels for the first time and they were AMAZING. When we have visitors we pick up amazing danishes and muffins at their bakery which is top notch. A new Grocery Outlet just opened a few doors down, and I hope that won't impact Jensen's. If Blue Jay lost this Jensen's it would be a terrible loss to the community for high quality food options.

Jake's on the lake is a small family-run Burger Shack where you can stop to fuel up on food and petrol for your boat. It's got a boat dock with 20+ slips, and a nearby store for ice, beer, and other lake-day edibles. You can get the Jake's on the Lake by boat or parking just off the highway. Be warned, there is limited parking above the boat docks & parking can suck. It gets pretty full during the summer with all the boaters taking up spaces for the day. Sad to say my review does not include the sampling of any food items, but I thought the pictures of the location and menu would be helpful. On the day we went to grab a burger and check out the views, there were a few people in front of us (family of 3). We were disappointed because ordering was taking an exceptionally long time (15+ min). The 15 yo girl working the window & taking payment seemed befuddled. We were going to eat, we heard the burgers are good. The long wait gave us time to reevaluate our choices. A Gourmet 1/3lb. burger with "The Works (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, American cheese, 1000 Island dressing)", an order of fries, and a drink was $18 (+tax & tip). I guess if you have a boat on the lake you don't much care about the prices and worry more about the convenience.

Flavor was great. Meat was bone dry like shoe leather: all of our 3 burgers. If I go back, I'd order medium rare, and see what happens. I went back a year later (2019), and ordered a chicken wrap this time. Again: bone dry meat. My two friends ordered burgers, and they looked great and were delicious. I'll have to chalk it up to a conspiracy: I just can't get lucky there...

Currently, the establishment is satisfactory with efficient staff, prompt pizza preparation, and an overall pleasant experience. However, it should be noted that using online coupons is advisable to avoid exorbitant menu prices. The pizzas are oven-baked with exceptional quality compared to other Domino's locations visited. Upon entering the store, customers receive warm greetings.
Always has great pizza and service. Everyone is nice and respectable. The manager is professional and always helps. I never have a problem when ordering here. I use the app and use coupons. Waited 45 minutes for my pizza to come smashed and have all the cheese on the lid. Delivery driver probably put the orders before me all on top. Order a chicken barbecue pizza and it feels like it is just barbecue with some chicken and onion. It’s like they poured an entire cup of barbecue sauce. Would it be too much to ask to add measurements of barbecue for each size of pizza?

6/11/2025@1910. Best crew every. Good pizza was high quality, hot, toppings on every slice. Quality Control at its finest. Thank you

My experience was fantastic. This is the only dominoes I found in twin peaks that is near by. Excellent customer service.
Danny A — Google review
I’ve ordered from here at least 5-6 times and my order has been perfect every time and completed within the estimated pickup time.
Nick S — Google review
Just want to write how much my family and I enjoyed the pizzas. We ordered the extravaganza and meatza pizzas. The pizzas were saucy and the toppings were hot and crispy. The employees were working hard to get everything out right and on time. Even though they were drowning in orders, they did a great job keeping things fast and friendly. It's no easy task on a Sunday evening. Hats off to you all.

Sandwich shop
Caterer
Fast food restaurant
Subway, the popular casual counter-service chain, is known for its customizable sandwiches and salads that cater to health-conscious diners. Recently under new ownership, this location has undergone a remarkable transformation. A previous visitor who had reservations about returning was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and freshness of the food. The attentive staff provided excellent service, ensuring every detail was just right during their visit.
New owners! I previously went before the new ownership, and couldn’t stand the thought of going back. It used to be dirty, service was terrible, etc. My partner wanted Subway, and I knew that there was new ownership, so I decided to give it a chance. Everything was SPOTLESS. The food is fresh and yummy. The lady who served us was attentive, kind, and made sure everything was perfect. They even decorated for Halloween. Would recommend giving them a chance after the new ownership. It felt like going to what Subway used to be.
Matt M — Google review
Staff here can't seem to get orders right and doesn't start online orders until you actually show up. This Subway is in the back of the gas station. This makes it often too crowded with the line to get sandwiches run down the aisle. Parking can be a challenge at the gas station at peak hours. Ordering on the app, the staff hadn't even started my order 10 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. When I got my sandwich home, just 2 minutes down the road, it hadn't been toasted and didn't have the sauce from my order.
H F — Google review
There is one guy working there that is unpleasant. No smile. He also makes sandwiches with minimal meat and cheese. Whoever owns it now needs to do better. Im in no rush to go back.
HEY B — Google review
I’m sitting outside the restaurant and the doors are locked but the lights and open sign are lit: 45min before closing. This isn’t the first or second time this has happened as they are closed early or not open at all. This location is a hit or miss and it completely acceptable when it’s good but when it’s bad it’s really bad. Inconsistent and unreliable as to when it’s open and feels like they try to hide it.
D — Google review
Ordering your food should not be as difficult as they make it. You have to all but yell at the server to not put something on your order. I shouldn’t have to say “no vinegar” 5 times just to watch them still put it on. Or ask 4 times for something else, and then watch them go to toast the sandwich and ask “did you put that on” and they say no. Food is fine but Jesus the service is abysmal
John D — Google review
This location turned off national coupons within the last 1.5 months. Greedy owner does not deserve our business until he turns the codes back on. If he doesn't like what Subway corporate is doing then he can sell his franchise, simple business!
Robert B — Google review
The only bread they had available was jalapeno. There was one customer asking for a refund because the bread was rock hard. I decided not to order. I've ordered from here in the past and they try to give you very little. I don't think I'll come back.

New owners are ripping people off. I ordered a great garlic which already comes with bacon yet was charged for bacon. Ordered another 6 inch no additional toppings 1 6” 1 foot long 2 chips and 2 drinks $31

45Tacos Y Más

Taco restaurant
Mexican restaurant
Tacos Y Más is a vibrant and casual eatery that puts a creative spin on traditional Mexican dishes. Recently, I had the pleasure of dining there with my co-worker David, who swears by their Tacos Relleno. These delightful tacos feature carne asada layered over melted cheese and topped with fresh avocado, all wrapped in a warm corn tortilla—absolutely mouthwatering! The atmosphere was relaxed, making it perfect for enjoying lunch after the rush.
2/11/25 Had lunch with my co-worker David who recommend this place. I lost the coin toss so I had to drive. It wasn't super busy, the wait was a little long but worth it. He said he always gets the Tacos Relleno and so when in Rome. They were delicious. Carne asada on melted cheese on top of whatever chile they used with sliced avocado, wrapped in a corn tortilla. Excellent! I washed it all down with a Jamaica. The dining area was ample to hold what appeared to be the end of the lunch rush. The entrance for the parking lot is like threaded a needle, I missed it and parked in the lot next door. There is no parking on Vernon to speak of. Service wasn't bad. I will come back to try it again 4/4/25 Had to come back. The taco that's like a chile relleno is the one to get. Melted cheese on a corn tortilla with a green chile on top, smothered with Carne Asada and sliced avocado. Add your own salsa and toppings (I threw some sliced onions on top with the green salsa) deliciousness!! The Adobada and buche weren't bad either. The buche was tender. I washed it all down with a large Jamaica.
Ambrose R — Google review
When I order online they always do half ass on the food. They always forget to put in guacamole or onions and cilantro or cheese in burritos and tacos. But when I go in the store they (at times) do my order correctly. I went inside today and they tried to “forget” my Jamaica. I had to inform them and showed them my order. I need to start opening the food I front of them so they can start not ripping people off. I do go here because the food is flavorful but this situation keeps happening ~ things not in the burritos (guacamole, cheese, and they put like tree pieces of cilantro)
Cassandra U — Google review
Ive seen the place for years but recently started coming , the food is so dam good . I honestly prefer it over a taco stand/truck anywhere . Slowly trying everything on the menu. Portions are big for their price ! Must try!
Freddy R — Google review
Real good, fresh and flavorful! Get the asada tacos relleno, also they do keto style instead of tortilla they use cheese. 🔥
Rojas F — Google review
Food is freaking amazing!! Yes! Must give them a try. I didn’t even get a chance to take a picture of the birria tacos because we gobbled them down so fast. Delicious!
Vanessa S — Google review
Had the carnitas, cabeza, al pastor, and chorizo. I can only say great things about all of the things I tried. The salsas were a little on the mild side, but delicious all the same. The carnitas and cabeza were both soft and chewy and tasted so good. In particular, though I thought the pastor and chorizo were amazing; the pastor was that kind of sweetish pastor that tastes a little like tocino, not common for me down in SD so I really like when I get to taste that, and the chorizo especially was not too salty, perfectly greasy, and was spicy enough that it was actually spicy, but not about the spiciness (I'd put it at like a 2 or 3 on a 0-10 scale). Any place with pickled onions at the salsa bar has it going on, too 🔥🔥🔥 The server behind the counter was also very sweet and just in a generally good mood to have people at their restaurant, even though we hit the 11pm shift; made it seem like there was pride in the service. I will definitely be back; this place was so good.
Ethan S — Google review
Great service every time and the food is great every time. This is our go-to taco place. we’ve tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all good.

This 7-Eleven is a convenient chain store offering quick bites and drinks, along with various items found at newsstands. It stands out as the best among its counterparts, consistently providing exceptional service by a harmonious and friendly staff. They always wear smiles and are amiable to everyone who walks through the doors. Similar to a local bar, minus the alcohol-free ambiance, this 7-Eleven invites customers to engage in conversations about their day or pets.
This is the best 7-Eleven. I’ve always lived close to a 7-Eleven. This store has the best staff. They seem to all get along. And they are nice to everyone. Especially me. They are always Smiling. I can come and converse about the day or pets. Think of your local bar. Take away the bartenders, the smell, the stale potato chips and the jukebox that’s playing AC/DC on repeat, and u have this 7-Eleven. Notice I didn’t say take away the alcohol. Cuz they sell that here. Boom!

This is the best 7-Eleven I've ever been to Robin, the cashier, is the most friendliest awesomest person you will ever meet she deserves 10 stars and a promotion ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Robin is the best she is so friendly and she is also a great worker and just an all around great person I wish I can give 100 stars. Thank you Robin for being you.

The staff is friendly here and this 7-Eleven looks awesome in this forest environment. The hot food is well maintained, we got freshly cooked chicken wings that tasted great.
Alex — Google review
It's nice to have a 7-Eleven up here. Similar to most 7-Eleven stores except I haven't seen any premium bistro sandwiches. Also I'm not sure why they wanted to charge me $1.29 to fill my tumbler with water, so I just bought the 99 cent Big Gulp for my water instead. They still have the salad I like and the hot dogs my family enjoys. I'm just waiting for the 7-Eleven stores in the U.S. to have a dining room.
CM J — Google review
Sometimes when visiting the area, I like walk g down here to get a morning coffee. It's always fresh, always stocked, and the clerks generally are in great moods and this was no exception. From a consumer perspective, a well run store.
Steve G — Google review
Pizzas are $7.54 including tax. Whatever you do though, don't get the plain cheese pizza. It tastes and smells like jet fuel. And not in a good way. The meat pizza is pretty edible though!
Michael B — Google review
I love this 7-11 and just want to say as a resident there is nothing to eat late at night and I always come here to eat Hot Dogs, which I love. The staff is always nice and the food area always clean.

47Billy's BBQ

Barbecue restaurant
Nestled within the enchanting atmosphere of a theme park, Billy's BBQ is a hidden gem that beckons with the irresistible aroma of smoky barbecue. As you stroll past festive sights like Santa's House and the grand Christmas Tree, your senses will be tantalized by what awaits inside. This culinary haven prides itself on using top-notch ingredients, all expertly crafted under the watchful eye of an enthusiastic pit boss who ensures every bite is unforgettable.
This restaurant is not open to the public. It’s located inside of the theme park. Can you walk into Knotts or Disneyland without admission just to eat? Pay to enter or drive a little further.
E A — Google review
Line was long, out of ribs, meat tasted like it was pre-made in bags reheated to serve. Brisket was 82% fat. Chicken was dry. And cost me an arm. Left with a stomach ache and tummy troubles. I guess you have to pay for a cleanse once in a while.
Snarkwhaler — Google review
Got the BBQ platter and it was collectively not good. Meat was gray old looking, flavorless, a "smoke ring" but no smoke flavor or smell or seasoning. Bits were dry but really greasy. The garlic mash wasn't fresh but did have flavor, and despite the color, the mac had no flavor and tasted like just noodles. The one star is for the BBQ sauce, which you had to smother all over just to eat, and one star for service, which was friendly. We ate it bc we felt bad for the animal who wasted its life to be this meat. We should've known it wasn't going to be good bc it was 6pm and no one was eating there, and other times we walked by it was dead too. I'll stick with the club or chicken sandwich at the other restaurant. Won't be back for the BBQ.
Jay ( — Google review
Nice service. Brisket is super fatty. Chicken was extremely dry. Corn... OLD and brown. :(
Brandy S — Google review
Everything was clearly just reheated. The meat was under seasoned and the sides were barely edible. Avoid.
Ryan S — Google review
This is less about the restaurant but the fact that nowhere on their site does it say you have to pay for admission to a park in order to eat here. Really misleading when just looking for a bite to eat and new to the area.
Justin C — Google review
The food was so so good. The meat was so tender it was falling off the bones. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. We cant wait to go back!
