The First Original McDonald's Museum is a compact museum located at the site of the first McDonald's location in San Bernardino, California. It offers visitors a glimpse into the history of this iconic fast-food chain, which started as a barbecue restaurant in 1940. The museum is filled with historic memorabilia such as old Happy Meal toys, pictures of McDonald's around the world, and vintage advertisements. Visitors can explore the original restaurant site and view period memorabilia including early forms of packaging and product prototypes.
This is a must visit! It’s free to enter but donations are always welcome and they sell merch to further support up keeping the building! So exciting to witness the history and all sorts of toys
Christopher G — Google review
Such a neat place. Worth the visit if you’re in the area. Brings back lots of memories of my childhood. Many original artifacts as well as toys from around the world. There are items inside and outside so be sure to go all around the building.
Bryan L — Google review
First time visiting this McDonald museum! This is the reason why the McDonald went all over the world!!! Quite a historical location and got to learn about it a lot! You can take photos and videos as it’s permitted! There’s nothing you can eat but the entrance is free to check around the store! Come check it out. Cheers 🥂
Mr. D — Google review
Interesting stop. Museum has all sorts of memorabilia from decades through time and different countries. Stopped in walked around and bought a shirt. Something different to do if you’re in the area but wouldn’t make it a dedicated trip.
Josh R — Google review
Great stop on a busy day. Memory lane here what was the toys you had as a kid. All of them. Happy meal toys live on. The guide at the door knows all!! And a few languages. And geocaching heaven too, now only because we leave happy meal toys in geocaching but there are three here!! One inside just ask for it. Virtual too.
Sueanne C — Google review
Such happy memories bubbled up as I looked at their collection of happy meal toys organized by year they came out. All the history of where McDonald's got it's start. This is a non-profit. So they do take donations but you are free to look around and take pictures. Get a smooshed penny or 2 for a souvenir. The exterior of the building is covered in the "World's Most Detailed" mural. Also, a few fun things standing about like the Hamburglar, Bugs Bunny, The Mystery Machine. Just a neat stop.
Roberta P — Google review
This is a place to see if you have ever wondered about the company and how it grew to a world restaurant chain with locations in almost every country. This a worth seeing admission is free you can make a donation.

Glen Helen Regional Park is a sprawling 1,300-acre recreational area in San Bernardino, offering a variety of activities for nature enthusiasts. The park features two lakes, picnic and play areas, a water park, concert venue, and race track. Surrounded by the San Bernardino National Forest with over 680,000 acres of mountains, it's an ideal spot for hiking with elevations ranging from 1,000 to over 11,000 feet.
Event parking lot is a nightmare, bug ricks, gravel and dips. But the park and paved sections are great! Clean and good breeze!

Went fishing here twice in the last month. It's kinda hit and miss. First time I did really well, two weeks later got skunked. Nice scenery but can get windy.

Went there for Nocturnal. AMAZING. Had a great time! Parking will always be a pain but it is what it is and there are people to bike you up and down.

Great place for fishing, just wished people would clean up after themselves. Lost of wildlife to see, beware there are coyotes

very beautiful scenery and very good for picnics and parties its something for everyone to do rather its a date or party and even swimming

I can't believe we had to put up with bright lights blairing into our camp ground! Some Ranch or something but the campground should advise them to turn lights. They just Blair in . Overall the campground is nice and hook ups convenient. The park was closed because forestry was setting up base camps to battle the fire in Lytle Creek. The Fire engines were entertainment.

Nocturnal wounderland was hands down the most epic festival. Recommend this to anyone
Alexander R — Google review
I attended day two of Nocturnal Wonderland. At Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino. The venue was large enough to comfortably house thousands of people. Everyone brought good vibes and expressed themselves by the way they dressed, danced, and sang to the live DJs performing their shows. They captivated the crowd with their music, laser light shows, large video screens, flamethrowers, and fireworks. There were three stages, each specializing in a particular genre of EDM. There were plenty of food stands, water dispensers, bars, and merchandise. Some sections had tables and benches under a canopy for eating and stage-watching in the distance. The porta-poties were plentiful and well stocked. The only downside to the bathrooms was that towards the end of the night, some sinks were out of water for hand washing. If you arrive early, you can easily enter the venue and find parking, but if you're late, plan on walking a lot. Most of the parking and walk to the venue is on dirt. Also, if you have any hope of leaving the venue by 1 AM, you will need to leave the festival grounds by 11 PM at the latest.

Housed in a 1918 Santa Fe train depot, the San Bernardino History and Railroad Museum offers a fascinating look into the impact of the Santa Fe railroad on the city's development. Visitors can explore artifacts, exhibits, and timelines that detail San Bernardino's growth. The museum features an array of items including train models, historical photos, antique vehicles, and nineteenth-century horse-drawn buggies.
Amazing tour. The gentlemen there gave us all kinds of information and lessons about the trains. It’s bigger than I thought and they have a lot to look at! They have a small donation box to keep it running so anything you can spare would help them I’m sure of it. My little one thought it was really cool and they let her ring the large bell. Amazing everyone should check it out. They have a board right when you walk in for the events they’ll be having
V.M. L — Google review
Grreat museum! Trains everywhere you look! Artifacts from the 1900’s sheds light on transportation’s evolution. Small space but you could find yourself spending a few HOURS in there (like I did) just roaming and reading the history of San Bernardino and its origins.
C S — Google review
You can’t beat this place for a wide variety of things to see and learn about; plus they have the local history and actual equipment used for many industries from the past and present in the area. Also their Native American heritage area is pretty cool. Great place for kids and adults alike. You won’t come out without having leaned something or without having seen something new!
Andro G — Google review
Initially, I thought this exceptional museum was just a small anteroom sort of quaint house type museum. In fact, it is a HUGE COLLECTION of some very special rail-related artifacts from the bygone age of steam to the present. It is a San Bernardino 💎 gem! Harvey girls, with the very first diner served, model trains of a very wide assortment. If you like trains, history, or just a way to spend a wonderful family afternoon. Be prepared to spend around 2 to 3 hours gawking, gawping, gaping and grinnin' from ear to ear! Enjoy! Check hours. Open Saturdays.
JERYD P — Google review
We are very happy to have a chance to visit this small but full of railroad history museum. We are welcomed by a kind lady who introduced us a senior museum narrator. He’s a very kind person and he explained bit by bit the history and significance of almost all exhibits, even in and out of this current still-used rail station. It largely increased our knowledge on the development of railroad history in LA region and beyond. Thanks for keeping such a wonderful historical site.
Zhiqian D — Google review
Loved the tour! The gentleman Kent was so friendly and informative. I enjoyed the history lesson he gave us and we will deff be coming back just to hear more stories.

This relatively small museum gives its attendees an interesting opportunity to learn about the history of the city of San Bernardino. It is housed in the San Bernardino Train Depot now used by the Metrolink network operated by Amtrak. This train station opened in 1918 and was the biggest one west of the Mississippi at the time. Please note that this free museum is only open on Saturdays from 10:00AM to 3:00PM and has a separate entrance just to the left of main depot entrance on the Westside of the building when facing it from the street.

Nestled in the vibrant downtown of San Bernardino, San Manuel Stadium serves as the proud home for the Inland Empire 66ers, a minor league baseball team. Since its opening in 1996, this open-air ballpark has become a beloved venue for local sports enthusiasts and families alike. With a seating capacity of over 8,000—including both traditional stadium seats and spacious grass areas—it's an ideal spot to catch thrilling games from April through September.
Always such a fun and chill experience at this stadium! My kids love coming to the 66ers games there’s always something going on, like cool giveaways, fun activities, and games just for them. It’s super family-friendly and never feels overwhelming. Plus, it’s way more affordable than MLB games, but you still might catch some future stars or even a big leaguer here and there. Great vibes, great value…we always have a real good time😎

King of the Cage!! Great venue for events other than baseball. Parking is easy to get in and out, restrooms are decent, and plenty of drink and food options. The King of the Cage event was especially awesome! Comisario Tequila was a sponsor, handing out free samples, careful with the Blanco, so smooth it's dangerous. There's even a spot to smoke cigars, my favorite! The fights were on point, great skills, some knockouts, some decisions and a draw, but either way, great entertainment. We had floor seats but the view is good from anywhere, there's also a large screen playing the live footage and replays. The King of the Cage event has been at this venue for 2 years now, twice a year... I plan to attend every single time!
E B — Google review
THIS CLASSIC BALLPARK IS a HOME RUN! The seats are so spacious here and I love that you get an incredible view no matter where you sit! San Manuel is home of the MiLB's Inland Empire 66ers, affiliated with the Los Angeles Angels! As an Angels fan, I'm ecstatic that we have a minor league team in the IE! San Manuel is super popular with baseball goers but it also hosts concerts, community events and much more! It's a bit rough around the edges in some locations. However, they just touched up the field and it looks crisp! I LOVE the views here! Additionally, the lawn sections and team store are amazing! I think the stadium could use a slight remodel as some things are a bit outdated, however the seats NEED to stay, they have spaces underneath each-other where you can stick your fit and it's a massive help for tall people like me lol. There's several concession stands, however during the week several are closed, idk why as this limits the options of patrons. During the weekend, all concessions are open. Some of the food needs to be adjusted, the French fries have a strong seasoning that is very off-putting and unenjoyable. The ice cream looks great and the other desserts like funnel cake and shaved ice are must-haves! The stadium has plenty of parking, expect a $10 charge per vehicle. The lot is spacious and the attendants are nice! San Manuel is close to the metro link, so if you're looking to cut costs on transportation, that's an option! I haven't tried the upstairs lounge-like seating but they look comfortable! A bar called the "Garage" is available near first base where you can reserve seating for large parties and also purchase drinks during the game without missing anything!
Lorenzo W — Google review
Went for the July 4th fireworks show, but it was nice. Didn’t expect the game to be so entertaining. Lots of food choices and had jumpers for kids and giveaways.
Kathleen G — Google review
Layout is great. I was there for a wedding, not a ball game. Looks like there is no bad seat in the house. Bathrooms are big. There is a lot of space to roam and you can even stand at the left field fence for a chance to catch a home run. I would definitely return for a game. Lots of parking to
Eric K — Google review
Had a blast with my daughter and won tickets thru lifestream for donating blood! This was an awesome experience to share with my child 💜 planning on coming back with the rest of the family soon 😊
Val K — Google review
This stadium is so beautiful. It’s manicured perfectly great for all type of events Manuel has out done itself with this stadium. The seats are comfortable. The food is a little pricey, but it’s delicious. The atmosphere is so warm and calming. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to enjoy to watch a baseball game or concert in comfort. Only thing is missing is the heated seats during the winter? I love the way when the home team wins a game there’s automatic fireworks the power technicians. Do a wonderful job here.
Kold D — Google review
Forst and foremost this Stadium needs a complete remodel/refresh. I will say theor food prices, especially their BBQ Bacon Smash Burger with Reasoned Fries was the Bomb amd a great price.

The Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA) offers a diverse collection featuring both ancient and contemporary art, with a particular emphasis on ceramics and Egyptian artifacts. This museum is highly regarded, providing an excellent destination for individuals, families, and friends to appreciate remarkable art exhibitions. Entry to the museum is free, and it is recommended to book in advance.
The museum visit was so much fun. I went with my siblings for a project I had to do for an art history class, and it was absolutely amazing. Don't be confused by the quietness if you go there on a weekday - it was an absolute blast. The art was laid out in a clean and well-organized way, and the staff was very helpful. My siblings (ages ranging from 12-18) and I all loved it and found it to be a very fun experience.

Been a while since I was on a college campus. Felt nice to be at a place of higher education. Friendly young-adults going about their schooling. Museum is on the CSU San Bernardino campus. Egyptian and "Dia De Los Muertos" exhibits were interesting. Also the entry hall was filled with photos and history of the San Bernardino comunity. Didn't quite get the groove of the "Brown" exhibit. It's a small, quaint museum. Good size to stay awhile and enjoy.

What a gem in San Bernardino. My family and I came to RAFFMA to see Katherine Posadas MFA Exhibit Salvadoran Roots, American Dreams. What a treat to also see the amazing Egyptian collection, and the different types of printmaking. There are Andy Warhol works on display. Parking is $10 and the entrance is free, but you can make a donation which I strongly recommend. Great activity to do with family on the weekend. They were open at 11 am on Saturday. Give yourself 1 to 2 hours to soak everything in, then take a walk around CSUSB campus. It's quiet, and serene on the weekends. Beautiful surrounded by trees and mountain views.

Excellent university museum with an outstanding collection of ancient Egyptian funerary items. The person(s) who wrote the descriptions for the pieces did an amazing job. This is one of the best we have seen in dozens of university museums across the country. Other exhibits were really very well done as well. Learn some things we never knew. Museum staff was great and very helpful. Thanks for a job well done.

One of the leading cultural centers in the area, the Robert Frances Fullerton Museum of Art has World Ceramics, Ancient Art, and the biggest display of Egyptian artefacts in the region. Throughout the year, a variety of educational events, such as workshops, special exhibits and lectures, take place at the museum.

Great small museum in the area to visit mix of historical and contemporary art. Every year they have a student exhibition to see student work in the summer. Parking is 6 dollars a day just keep that in mind and when school is in session sometimes parking is hard to find. For photos I have some on instagram @stevenh83

Performing arts theater
The California Theatre of the Performing Arts, established in 1928, is a historic venue in San Bernardino offering a diverse range of all-ages shows, including popular musicals and Broadway plays. This cultural gem hosts classical concerts, dance recitals, and children's theater productions throughout the year. The 1,718-seat auditorium provides an immersive experience for attendees. Despite its historical significance and well-maintained facilities, visitors are advised to be cautious of the surrounding neighborhood when attending evening performances.
June 28, 2025 was my first time in this Theater. I really liked it. Swan Lake performed by Boston Ballet was fabulously beautiful with the magical music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky. I feel gratitude to God for the opportunity to see this beauty.
Birzhan A — Google review
My daughter and I went to see Matilda last night at the theater, this was our first time there. I wasn't expecting much because I knew that it was an old theater and it hasn't been refurbished or anything in a long time, but that was actually one of the things I really loved about the theater was it's more nostalgic, vintage feel. Even the show's overall production value wasn't necessarily bad, but what made the experience not so great was the audio. I wouldn't normally call out anyone specific for things like this, but the theater really needs to invest in a better audio engineer. The voices were all over the place. Levels were not equalized appropriately, all the low end was taken out of the voices and music so it just sounded like these really empty and Hollow voices that had no carry on them, which is a huge issue when you're talking about children's voices being mixed in with adults. I literally couldn't understand 80% of the dialogue that was being spoken, or the words from the songs. Additionally, the music was on a track obviously not an ensemble, but even with that fact the music was so low that the voices just overpowered it and so you had this strange Dynamic of not being able to hear anything the voices are actually saying, but only being able to hear the voices at the same time. Overall, it just created an experience that was less than. I'm hoping since this was our first visit that it was just a one-off because my daughter really wants to come back and see Frozen and I'm all about giving places second opportunities to see if experiences are flukes or not. So that's why my rating is right in the middle. It was a good experience for all the things that I didn't necessarily care about at the end of the day and it was a less than good experience for the main entertainment.
Jb J — Google review
Went and saw Frozen. It was fun. The theatre was nice. Employees need to learn where seats are spent 20 minutes trying to find our seats. Other couple had same issue.
Melody R — Google review
This place is amazing! First time here, staff is so attentive. Enjoyed our visit today, they handled the graduation so well!
Leticia L — Google review
It's one of those old but very nice theaters. This was my first time visiting, and I was not expecting much, but once I entered the building, it took me back in time. Parking is in the front and in the back. We parked in the back
Ronnie P — Google review
I was very impressed with the theater. It's well maintained in practically every way (as far as an outsider like me knows of course). The only negative thing would be the neighborhood. Just be aware of everything around you. Seriously. Especially at night. The parking structure is just across the street and relatively well lit. Just watch your back. The venues are pretty cool, we went and saw the Blue Man Group. Despite it being a smaller show they still put on a fun performance. Was kinda let down a bit but I was just going off from what I've seen in videos and the shows I've seen there are from Vegas so my expectations were a bit too high. Had fun nonetheless. The theatre: The staff are professional, polite and welcoming. Overall this place is awesome and I'll be coming back again as soon as I find a venue.
D H — Google review
I took my daughters to see the Nutcracker. The venue is stunningly gorgeous! Very clean... I can't imagine dusting this place, but it was cleaned very well. The restrooms were well stocked and also clean, there was plenty of stalls and sinks to wash your hands. The neighborhood and surrounding area outside of the theatre was a little sketch, but the actual theatre and staff themselves were very kind and nice. I would consider going back here to watch a play or performance again. OH and parking, we parked across the street in the parking garage!
Sharon H — Google review
Went to see Blue man group. Great fun in This beautiful theater. They host some of the most amazing performances you can see anywhere. The upcoming season looks to be one of their best ever. The San Bernardino County Museum is a regional institution that offers an engaging exploration of the local culture and natural history. The museum also provides various educational programs for students, families, and the public to promote an appreciation for the area's past, present, and future.
Fun Fathers Day outing. I haven't been in decades. And didn't know they remodeled at some point. The new layout is amazing and very interactive as well as interesting to move through the different areas. Our 4 year-old loved being able to touch a lot of the exhibits as well as going through their STEAM lab. Even though the lab was small it had some cool experiments to do. It was pretty hot in there though. We definitely would go there first next time. They have a Kona ice truck outside also. Which was a nice surprise and welcome treat.

The Norton Air Force Base Museum, established in 2013, offers a captivating glimpse into the history of the base. Visitors can explore a variety of exhibits displaying artifacts and photographs associated with former military and civilian personnel who were stationed there. The museum provides both self-guided tours and guided tours led by veterans who served at the base. It is conveniently located off 3rd street, with the entrance facing north. The docents are knowledgeable and provide ample information about the exhibits.
Hi! I would like to share photos from my amazing journey through NORTON AIR FORCE BASE MUSEUM with guidance of NAFB veteran. Inside you will meet very kind people and see so many different souvenirs from 1942-1994. Mostly all of this stuff is given from veterans who serve in this base. I highly recommend to visit this place ,you won’t be disappointed! *There is no charge to see this great museum and parking is free as well*

The Norton Air Force Base Museum has been showcasing fascinating history related to the base since 2013. The exhibits feature a range of artefacts and photos related to former military and civilian personnel who worked at the base. You can tour the museum on your own or take a guided tour with a veteran who was once stationed at the base.

Nice small museum with excellent docents who provide tons of information. It's easiest to find if you turn in from 3rd street, otherwise you'll have to drive all the way around the building to find the museum entrance. The museum entrance faces north. They have tons of memorabilia and even a piece of the Berlin Wall!
Timothy Y — Google review
The museum is free and it's tiny, but there's a lot to look at. There's a section of the Berlin wall outside that's worth seeing. The airport terminal is closed on Saturdays. They have regular commercial flights out of there, but not on Saturdays

I highly recommend going to this place. The staff was very welcoming and made you feel at home. They gave you a personal tour and showed you around. The people that took you on the tour are people who where in the air force and worked and lived on base. They had so much info and made me appreciate what the people who work to help protect us even more

I just returned from the most epic Halloween rave event of the year – Escape 2024, presented by Insomniac at the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino! This was my fourth year attending Escape, and I can confidently say it was the best one yet! From the moment we arrived at the venue, it was clear that Insomniac had outdone themselves. The NOS Event Center was transformed into a spooky wonderland, complete with eerie lighting, fog machines, and massive stage productions. The atmosphere was electric, with ravers of all ages and styles gathered together to celebrate the Halloween season. But the real magic happened when the music started. The lineup was stacked with the biggest names in EDM, including Adam Beyer, Alison Wonderland, and RL Grime. Each set was more incredible than the last, with the DJs expertly weaving together tracks to keep the crowd energized and dancing all night long. One of the highlights of the event was the incredible stage production. The main stage, in particular, was a marvel of modern technology, with towering LED screens, pyrotechnics, and even a massive, fire-breathing spider that descended from the ceiling during one of the sets! But what truly made Escape 2023 special was the sense of community that pervaded the entire event. Everyone was dressed in their most creative and outrageous Halloween costumes, from giant spiders and zombies to superheroes and video game characters. It was a truly immersive experience, with ravers of all ages and backgrounds coming together to celebrate their shared love of music and self-expression. Insomniac's attention to detail and commitment to safety were also impressive. The event was incredibly well-organized, with clear signage, ample parking, and a smooth entry process. The staff and security were friendly and helpful, ensuring that everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience. In short, Escape 2023 was an unforgettable night of raving bliss. If you're a fan of EDM, Halloween, or just looking for an exciting and immersive experience, do not miss this event! Insomniac truly outdid themselves this year, and I'm already counting down the days until Escape 2024! Highlights: - Incredible stage production and lighting - Unbeatable lineup of world-class DJs - Creative and outrageous Halloween costumes - Sense of community and camaraderie among attendees - Excellent organization and attention to safety Rating Breakdown: - Music: 5/5 - Production: 5/5 - Atmosphere: 5/5 - Organization: 4/5 it can be better for vips - Overall Experience: 4/5

We drive from the San Fernando Valley for the short track car races. Although short on time, we had a great time. We saw quality racing on a 1/4 mile banked track. Although the drive is long we will be back since there's no other track closer to us.

NOS has a special place in our hearts!! Despite Queen Mary being closer to LA, we miss having Dreamstate out there. Our trance family has been raving since the 90’s, there’s something incredibly special about dancing and getting lost in the sauce beneath the megastructures. Beyond is a beautiful and special event that is basically a miniature version of EDC. Make sure to get secure clutch loops for your phone and you’ll be quite alright! The NOS is the best venue for raves! I've been attending events there for a while. There is always so much space to walk; I have never had a bad experience. Now, I give the Wasteland organizers 1 star for the event. They could have given us more space and not lied about the VIP amenities. It's the first time. I had a bad experience at VIP.
Christian A — Google review
great space for venue but sometimes for events, they only have one entrance. If you park on the wrong side, it ends up being a 45+ minute walk. Came here for Beyond Wonderland
William C — Google review
The entertainment was fantastic but the venue was lacking. Absolutely zero thought was put into having ADA accommodations. Oversold tickets resulted in not enough seats for people. Waiting in lines for over an hour for $12 slices of pizza. Ran out of beverages. It could have been so much better.

Went for Beyond Wonderland 2023! Very fun, but packed. Made us walk a whole circle to get to our parked cars :/ other than that it was fun! It is a big space! Make sure to bring your ear plugs (protect your hearing!) because the music gets so loud, you can hear it blocks away. I heard beyond had free event parking but no security so we parked where there was, it was expensive… but i guess no broken car. $40 but i saw some places that charged 60.

Can't even wax my car..So many sketchy people in cars smoking dope.. So many living in their cars there. We used to walk to the top and we don't go there anymore. Why is the city allowing this? San Bernardino Mayor, you need to get it together. This park is a hott mess. Can you imagine walking barefoot through here? The amount of syringes probably there.

It used to be a decent place to hang out. Then Covid & they began shutting it down. They put up signs that were lies about why the grassy area now has a permament steel fence around it that said they were restoring the grass. There wasnt anything wrong with the grass. Then all the fake homeless. It's just not a mellow place anymore.
Richard G — Google review
Great place for a quick getaway hike. I don't mind and understand the homeless situation but oh my god do you have to live in your own filth. I sometimes bring a bag and lightweight pickup trash but these people don't care and are nasty dirty. I went there on the 4th of July last year covert situation being what it was and it was an awesome spectacle you can watch fireworks going off all around the city 360° view.

This park has always been nice with soem good little trails for people who like to hike. It's mild enough for someone who isn't very outdoorsy. The fields were redone by the Dodgers and that has been a massive upgrade, they look amazing now.

Very nice park.I had just came to town and was looking for a nice park to clean my car out.I also like easy trails to hike on.I didn't get a chance to walk up the mountain yet, but I'm planning on it. The bathrooms are closed down which makes this park terrible.Worst than that are the fire ants that'll bite your ankles and feet.Maybe perhaps just don't park near the trees in the shade, you'll live to regret it.

Cool park. Skate ramps, b ball court, tennis court, baseball field, play ground, big fields, even handball courts. There is usally an ice cream man there, and there is a awesome hill trail(s) that lead to the top , even a solemn place with a cross to reflect about what Jesus did for us.

This park is great for beginners and those looking for a challenge. The trail to get to the top is worth the view, especially during spring. There is plenty of grass ideal for picnics or a fun afternoon of catch.

Going up to the two peaks it's a good 4 mile hike. There is a Christian cross on each peak. I stop & say a prayer at each peak. I bring my dog, be sure to bring water for yourself & dog. California State University, San Bernardino is situated on a sprawling 430-acre campus at the base of the picturesque San Bernardino Mountains. With over 20,000 students and more than 150 degree programs, it offers a mix of modern and traditional architecture. The university provides a scholarly environment with various resources to support student success. Additionally, it hosts engaging activities throughout the summer months, including the annual pow wow that educates about Native American culture.
If you’re actually smart — not just GPA-smart, but independent-thinker, challenge-the-system, ask-better-questions smart — CSUSB will support you. Here, people respect hard work, original thinking, and quiet ambition. There’s no pretentious act, no herd mentality — just real students, real professors, and degrees that mean something. Now let’s talk about UC Davis. UC Davis is where originality goes to die. If you question anything — the system, the group narrative, the shallow “woke” activism that only exists on Canva slides — you’re instantly labeled “problematic.” It’s a campus full of groupthink, where being truly intelligent makes you a threat, not an asset. Want to explore unpopular ideas? Want to push boundaries in science, politics, or tech? Too bad — Davis isn’t interested in thought, just compliance. It rewards people who follow the script and punishes anyone with the guts to think differently. It’s like intellectual prison with compost bins. And what do you get for playing their game? Ten years after enrollment, you’re lucky if you’re making $54K pre-tax. That’s the reward for swallowing your brain and joining the hive mind. Meanwhile, CSUSB grads are moving up — building careers in healthcare, education, business, tech — without the ego, without the debt, and without pretending to be elite. If you value authenticity, intelligence, and actual outcomes, CSUSB is the real one. UC Davis is just a loud, self-congratulatory echo chamber where the truly smart either get silenced — or leave.

CSUSB Tech Support Center No support, no response, no way to reach anyone. I called and opened a ticked which says a consultant will contact me but nobody reached me. After 7 days, I called again to escalate the case, no response. This school is very bureaucratic. If you call, it directs you to outsourced call center who cannot help you with your problem. No follow up. No way to reach anyone in that dept. An update in 2025, the response time has improved significantly to be 1 to 2 days.

Was hesitant to come here for the first time cause I always see traffic anytime I’m driving up the 15 fwy. I was receiving text messages from the amphitheater almost the entire week letting us know to arrive early, 4:30 due expected high traffic. Well, due to personal reasoning we got there around 8pm. Traffic was not bad at all (compare to the RoseBowl iykyk). Took us about 15 minutes to park. Ladies DO NOT WEAR HIGH HEELS OR OPENED TOE SHOES. The walk up was an additional 15 minute walk, half a mile or so. We did not buy parking tickets In advance (our bad) however we were able to get FREE general parking. There’s enough restrooms and portable toilets with little not no wait time. Same for drink and food, little to no wait time

Attended a concert at this venue just over a week ago. I was pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of bathrooms, flushing and Porta, and the FOOD was amazing. Food and drinks were pretty expensive but that's how it goes at events like this. Great selection, may I add, between the food trucks and alcohol. We parked in the free parking and it was a little bit of a walk if you are older. You can pay to park much closer. After our concert was over, there were a bunch of people selling hot dogs as you left the venue and walked to your car. Smelled SOOO GOOD! We stayed up in Twin Peaks as we are from Vegas. The drive was about 45 mins. I'd definitely attend another event here.

My favorite venue in Southern California. Parking is good not too far away as long as you're on this side of the freeway. Don't get there late traffic came back up off the off ramps on both exits. Main issue at this museum is the docent. The man covered in turquoise. From the moment we entered the museum he was standing very close to us. He immediately walked up to my kids and offered them necklaces. They were spooked. And yet he still tried to put the necklace on them. My wife and kids. He shadowed every step. Never for a moment allowing us to check out the museum in peace. There is no reason or justification for this type of behavior. The kids , wife and I were uncomfortable. And while he does have some military memorabilia. Some of the stuff in there has absolutely nothing to do the military. Why does he have a marksman Repeating BB pistol behind the display glass? Why does he have completely fictions made up weapons that seems like a child made? It feels like less of museum and more of an old antique store. Just a bunch of stuff randomly placed with an old creepy man who follows your every move.
Trevor F — Google review
I would NOT recommend this museum, UNLESS you don’t mind having your person space invaded! As soon as we walked in, he instantly gravitated towards my two small children. Gave them costume jewelry. He even tried putting it on them after they refused to accept it from him. Then he came back and tried putting military helmets on them. My oldest again refused! I told him, she doesn’t want to wear it! He continued to follow us around & kept trying to speak to them. My children & I were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. We couldn’t even look around because he was standing so close to us. I even had to physically pull my daughter next to me because he tried standing directly behind her! When I told my husband we were leaving the docents response was “So soon?”. Take this review as you will, but we will never be back! Hopefully he reads this & realizes how inappropriate his behavior is!

Gorgeous place to spend a few hours, if not the whole day. I didn't do the tour, but the grounds are simply lovely and there are lots of shady places to walk, sit, have a picnic, or even set up a hammock as I saw one family do. I'll have to come back and see a show in the amphitheatre!

It was a nice afternoon outing with my kids. When googled it noted it as a haunted place. They told us that’s not true upon arrival. We visited on a Thursday. It was a small group of 7 people. Group of four was about$50. Tour lasted about 40 minutes. You can stay in the garden for as long as you want. Either way the whole place is breathtaking. And the tour was informative with great history facts and fun to see the wonderful things they had back then.

Amazing home with a lot of lore and stories to every detail. There is no photography allowed on the inside (go see it for yourself!) But the guides are very very knowledgeable and will even run to the archives to research something before you leave. I enjoyed this 45 minute tour (and the newly added AC). I enjoyed learning about the 3 women who made this home possible and available to us still today (as well as Prospect Park next door).

Kimberly Crest is a beautiful place for your special moment. I reserved an hour with our photographer to take my daughter pictures for her upcoming Sweet 16 celebration. The scenery is beautiful. Highly recommend this location for that special moment.

Stepping into Kimberly Crest Gardens was like diving into a vibe straight out of a period drama (Hello Bridgerton!). Make sure to visit when there is a good sun. Chances are you'd see the stunning Victorian mansion with the contrast blue sky as it's background. Also, admire their perfectly manicured hedges. I couldn’t shake the feeling that the koi in the pond were low-key judging my attempts to snap a flawless reflection pic. And then there was this super curious squirrel following me around, probably hoping I’d drop some snacks—sorry, dude, just camera gear today. The Victorian chateau stood majestically amidst the meticulously maintained Italian Renaissance-style gardens, featuring terraced landscapes, ornate fountains, and the charming "Shy Girl" statue nestled within the rose garden. By the time I headed out, I felt like I had just walked through a movie set—totally the clueless.

This place feels like stepping into a fairy tale. I came here for my niece's quinceañera photo shoot, and it was absolutely stunning. The grounds are impeccably maintained, creating a beautiful backdrop for photos. You need to reserve at least an hour for the shoot, though it’s a bit pricey at $200. They are strict about the time, so be mindful not to go over. The on-site bathrooms for changing were clean, and the staff member in charge was very kind. Overall, it was a delightful experience!

This is such a beautiful place with charming architecture and a lovely garden. One of my favorite features was the small koi pond on the upper side of the house, which adds a peaceful touch. The entire setting feels serene, and the architecture truly stands out. When you're driving there, be sure to take a look at the nearby Victorian-style houses – they’re stunning and really complement the vibe of the area. It's a wonderful spot to visit for those who appreciate both nature and historic architecture. Definitely worth a stop!

Pizza restaurant
If you find yourself in San Bernardino and have a hankering for authentic Italian cuisine, look no further than Alfredo's Pizza & Pasta. Established in 1979, this charming eatery boasts a warm, family-friendly atmosphere adorned with classic checkered tablecloths. The extensive menu features homemade dishes crafted from cherished family recipes that have stood the test of time.
From the moment the food arrived, everything was just perfect. The pasta was rich, comforting, and tasted exactly like a home-cooked meal. What really made the experience even better were the vibes inside the restaurant. It has that cozy, old-school feel. warm lighting, simple charm, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. It’s like sitting down for a homemade pasta dish at a family table. Everything about this place just hits home. I’ll definitely be coming back again (and again!).

I have been coming here for years with my family, but I went today with my family, and we decided to change things up a bit and order a Fettuccine “Alfredo” added with chicken. HOWEEVER, when I ordered this (along with some pizzas), our waiter didn’t confirm what our order was. Granted, it was busy this day, so there were people coming in out of nowhere. Once our food came, my sister and I noticed that our Fettuccine Alfredo was NOT Fettuccine Alfredo. We told her this, and she said that that’s not what I ordered. She then whipped out her notebook where she took our order (and didn’t confirm with us) and showed it to us, revealing that it was a Chicken Parm. Now, you may think that I misordered. I also did take this into consideration; however, I’m the type of person who is PARANOID about ordering wrong, so I pointed to every word on the menu that I wanted to order, so I KNOW that I for sure ordered correctly. My family and I suspected that since there were so many people coming in, our waiter was distracted and didn’t hear me correctly and just guessed what I ordered. When we brought it up to the waitress, her attitude changed a bit. Overall, the food was great, but I’m the type to be more picky about the service.

Honestly, I was really looking forward to this place, but it all ended up being pretty, Meh. The pizza looks good, and honestly, the crust is top tier, but that's about it. Super greecy, and they like, layer the pepperoni under the cheese in thick chunks, which, in my opinion, is just too much. The sauce is super thin, and you can't taste it. The Fettuccine Alfredo was decent, kinda bland, and getting it with baked on cheese was a mistake. It became TOO cheesy, but admittedly, that's my fault. The servers were great, very friendly. The bathroom was horrible though. I've seen better restrooms in a 7/11.

Order for a birthday party at home. Food was delicious and presentation was great. We feed 9 people and there was plenty of food. At a very good price. I'm thinking of going back for more. It tasted that great.

took my mom and boyfriend out to dinner here, I absolutely love this place but tonight just wasn't it. We found a roach on my boyfriend's plate, it looked like it was baked or something, when we mentioned it, they didn't offer any discounts or anything, when we asked, they say no sorry. Also, my mom originally got the mushroom and garlic chicken, and this dish was extremely salty, not like a normal garlic taste, it was REALLY salty. When we mentioned if we could swap it out, the waitress had a slight attitude, but I get it. Overall, their customer service isn't the best, and they need to get better health codes in set. edit: I love this place, I literally have no reason to lie about my experience, but they apparently want to say they no proof of this happening? my phone shows the time and the location, and I ALSO have my receipt because I still paid. so what do I get about lying about this??

THE ABSOLUTE BEST Italian restaurant in the Whole IE! I’ve been to high end Italian restaurants and they never manage to hit the spot just like Alfredo’s does. Tracy and Irene are always so kind and very friendly. I HIGHLY recommend this place for events, catering, or just regular every day dining.
Silvia R — Google review
Normally I would rate the food 5 stars-this is one of our favorite places and has been for decades. Have not made it out here I. About a year and ordered for my husband’s birthday. The lasagna lunches were all burned. They still tasted good but could not save leftovers because they were so overcooked we couldn’t have warmed them up again. The pizzas looked amazing with lots of toppings but the dough was not quite cooked through and the sausage tasted old or freezer burned or something. Even the kids didn’t eat it. We threw away 3 whole pizzas. I am hoping it was just a bad day because this place is usually fresh delicious! My daughter said she noticed a bunch of no refund signs when she picked the food up so that is a little concerning that maybe the quality has just gone down? They did help carry the food to the car so that was above and beyond. Hope to try again soon and see the quality we are used to here.

Craving chicken &shrimp Alfredo, and some garlic bread sticks. What I got was water down Alfredo with boiled pieces chicken breast. So much water I couldn't wrap noodles on fork, no flavor. Shrimp was cheap small, type you buy in bag and unfreeze. Garlic bread toast wasn't crunchy or garlic lil stale. Had to throw everything away unfortunately. Paid $35 for everything solo dinner. Now I know why order didn't take long to make.

This place is great! It’s clean, carts are fast, and staff is friendly. There is plenty of parking and the Groupon makes each race affordable. If you qualify on the 6.5. Hp carts you and race in the 9 horsepower car. They even have two seaters if you want to tote the kids around the track. Can’t wait to return and beat my track time!

SB Raceway has a really entertaining cosmic go-cart race during the weekend I definitely recommend checking out but be warned it is pricey! We went for a date night after hearing about $30 races and despite the sticker shock we had a great time. The races were exciting and what started out as "MarioCart" quickly turned into "MadMax" by the 3rd race and we were all laughing and smiling as we competed. There is an Arcade on-site and a few vending machines available with snacks and drinks immediately upon entry. 💰💰💰 Here's the breakdown: - Driver's License $7 (1yr renewal $5) - Headlock for helmet $4 (Required!!) - 1 Race = 8 minutes = starting at $26.99 - 3 Races = $65 **Membership Available $49.99 includes 1 race with purchase and discounts apply towards race costs 🚗 Parking is extremely convenient and available Rental helmets are provided for safety.

Shout out to Angelina (Jo), Jayce, Austin, & Rick! Customer service was outstanding, they got me in a race right away, and briefed me on all details (my first time ever doing something like this). I had an absolute blast and ended up doing a second race. Please give these guys a raise, absolutely an amazing experience! Thanks SB Raceway!
Ewan P — Google review
1st timer here and it was a good experience. The young man who checked us in was very patient with me since I had no idea what I was doing and he was very helpful. Jayce and Jo were great and they helped explain how it all worked and how to get started. Our first race was fun because it was with only two other racers, so we learned a lot about controlling the car and how to race faster. The second race was not so much fun because a whole family came in and we had to wait for them and the track was full, so we had to more aware of our surroundings. I would recommend this place for some fun racing. I wish the track was bigger and I wish the ventilation was better. When you walk in to the race track portion, you can definitely smell it, but aside from that, the employees made it enjoyable. It is a bit pricey, since we had to purchase our head cover and pay fees, for two races for two of us, it was over $100 for two 10-minute races, with a 10 minute break in between, that was well worth it. If you have never done, I would highly recommend it.
Mario B — Google review
I went on a weekend and it was empty, no people at all (which I considered good) maybe like 3 couples racing, I explored the place and the arcade wasn't that cool. It was expensive, I spend like 70 dlls for the license and 3 races I think. The cars were fast but my only concern was the seatbelt, it's not that safe to wear them to be honest, they are at your neck level which is really dangerous. but other than that I really enjoyed raced with an empty track.😬🤭 Parking lot was empty so it was easy to find a parking 🤭✌🏻✌🏻✨

Being stationed in high desert offers my Soldiers limited options. Thankfully, Nicole did everything she could (and more) to ensure my group of 30 had an amazing experience. We arrived early, ready to sign up and race; the arcade offered those who weren’t called up to race, something to do while the heats started. We’re extremely grateful for SB Raceway’s flexibility and generosity. We will definitely come again. RAIDER!

Park
Seccombe Lake Recreation Area in San Bernardino is a popular community spot offering a variety of outdoor activities. The area features a lake for fishing, boating, and swimming, as well as hiking trails through the surrounding hills. Visitors can enjoy picnic areas with BBQ grills and a gazebo, along with sports fields and a half-mile walking track. Recent improvements to the park have made it cleaner and safer, including the addition of a dog park.
The City has cleaned up the park and lake a lot. I take my kids every weekend to play on the playground and walk around. They love feeding the ducks and squirrels.

Can't wait till they fix it up 😃 most of the homeless are out😁 still the water smells🤮 and is not safe for the geese, ducks or fish 🤢🤕🤮 but hopes are high 💯%😉 had a great time feeding the ducks and geese.. they love popcorn and Sweet peas.. 🥰 and a family came to spend some time fishing 😃
Vincent C — Google review
The park and lake conditions are improving since it's been fenced-off but the parking is limited to the west end parking lot with "no parking" signs all along 5th Street an the entrances locked.. The fishing isn't to bad but I wouldn't eat anything out of this lake since there's still a lot of trash in the lake..
Lyle E — Google review
So glad they are fixing the park. No more homeless people. The park is looking way cleaner and the water as well. There is now a dog park and are building the fence! So excited to start going more often with my family and dogs (: hopefully they just fix the grass! The park needs more grass /plants.

Make the best of what's available to you. This park is for a quick stop these days. It is much nicer since they cleaned the lake and got rid of the psycho squirrels that had taken over.
Tameeca G — Google review
The only good thing I can say about this lake is that the bass fishing here is alright but other than that this place is an absolute mess. The amount of trash littering both the lake and the area surrounding it is almost unbelievable. I'm assuming all the trash is produced by the massive homeless population in that part of town. The lack of trees makes finding shade that isn't already occupied quite difficult. But what else can you expect from good ol' San Bernardino...
Theodore K — Google review
It's a bit dirty at the park, but last time I was there, they had volunteers cleaning it up. My dog, a Lab, loves chasing after the gophers and geese. He can't catch them, but he loves trying.

Visitors can enjoy the swim beach and engage in water activities like kayaking, paddle boating, and float tubing. Additionally, there are dog parks throughout the area making it a pet-friendly destination.
I travel around the world frequently, and this park with its beautiful lake is truly a gem. The walking trail circles around the lake for 4 miles, offering a refreshing experience. Many people come here to fish, while others enjoy the park with their dogs. It’s a stunning piece of nature with fresh air and a vibrant atmosphere. There are restrooms located at specific spots throughout the park, and the parking lots are spacious and easily accessible. This is one of the most beautiful parks and lakes I’ve ever seen in my life, right in the heart of nature. I genuinely loved this place – it’s absolutely worth visiting!
HAITHAM A — Google review
I absolutely love this lake and it’s become one of my favorite getaways. One of the best things about it is the trail that loops around the entire lake, complete with workout stations along the way. There’s nothing better than stopping mid-hike to get in some pull-ups or a quick stretch while taking in the lake views. I also love coming here to paddle board. The water is usually super calm, which makes it perfect for a relaxing paddle or even a picnic on the board. There aren’t many motorized boats around, maybe just one or two small ones at most, so it always feels peaceful and safe. There are lots of people fishing, too, which gives the whole place a laid-back, friendly vibe. And when the summer heat kicks in down in Riverside, this lake feels like the perfect escape. It’s cooler, breezier, and feels like a mini retreat just a short drive away. If you’re looking for a spot to work out, paddle board, or just unwind in nature, this lake is definitely worth a visit!
Silas S — Google review
I went there the day after Labor Day this year and had the lake to myself. They have kayaks, paddle boats, paddle boards and power boats for rent. The whole place was so serene and you could hear nature all around you without motors or other distractions. For parking, I recommend getting the app that they link on their permit to purchase time. I needed to add more time and it was easy to do it from the kayak instead of going to the parking lot. The park is well kept and they have plenty of activities for you to do even when the water park attractions are closed. Enjoy nature. 🌲
Nasser S — Google review
We had a great time at Lake Gregory with friends. We arrive around 9am to get parking in the main lot and get in line. When the gate opened we were in a good position to place our tent in a prime spot. Since we were meeting friends, we connected two tents for everyone (about 30 people). We headed straight for the water course. Those who get in early before max capacity is reached don’t have to wait in line and they get to stay out longer. As the park reaches full capacity, they make the overflow wait in line and limit sessions to 30 minutes. One word of caution. If you are an adult, it doesn’t take much to launch your child (see video). My child won the belly flop contest, but was comforted by the cool video our friend took. Food is edible, they run out of ice cream flavors early and bathrooms are a longish walk from the swimming area. There is a slick of sunscreen on the water from all the bodies in there’s This is not the place to go for a quiet, pristine beach day. This is a fun place for kids and groups!
Ann C — Google review
A nice spot for a fun day trip with the kids or dogs. If parking at the main parking lot, you will need to pay. Additional fees if fishing or boating. There are other areas of the lake that are accessible if you park along the side of the road. Dog park, hiking trails, beach area & restrooms are also available. Family friendly.
Naomi C — Google review
The kids had a ball, except The lake should limit how many tickets they sell. It’s $33 dollars for the day to use the bouncer and the slide and there are so many people that you have to wait 30 minutes in the sun in line. When they are at capacity. So either lower your price or control the crowd that is allowed to be on the lake. Parking is horrible. Lots of walking. Food was good and restrooms were clean. We will definitely go again but rethink how we go about it.

A very serene little lake! Peaceful, quiet, well managed, with an easy short ~1.5mi hike around it and a boat rental facility. We went out of season. It's a hidden gem that we enjoyed a lot more than lake Arrowhead, which is a crowded tourist trap lined with docks instead of ducks! I expect late Gregory might be more crowded in the summer when they have the floating bounce castle. We went in October.

We booked a party package for about 14 people for a 27th birthday and even though it was for an adult, the staff made us feel very special! Amanda was incredible. She called us 20 minutes before our scheduled time and asked about our interests to make a customized sign! She then greeted us and set us up with our wristbands. She was super understanding about our party arriving at different times and held wristbands for us at the front desk. The park itself was super fun, we did roller skating, laser tag, go karts and several rides for a good price. All the staff members we encountered were very friendly and inviting. We will definitely be coming back.

Brought my son here yesterday, It was pretty fun. Lazer tag. Water slide. Slide. Miniature golf. Go kart racing. Kid rides. Dairy Queen available. Skate rink. Arcade machines & games. Its pretty expensive per person & you have to pay for everything separate. Would've been better to just buy a ticket to get in, ride every ride & play every game for free but nope. The pizza was horrible. The popcorn was nasty & chewy, not worth it. Some go karts go faster then others so it's unfair.

First time visiting here & it was super fun. There is so many things to do such as; Laser Tag/ Mini Golf/ Go Kart Racing/ Rides/ Arcades/ Batting Cages. It is seriously endless fun. The arcade has top notch games and the prices are decent. The prizes are great & aren’t ridiculous ticket prices. We also tried the laser tag, it was fun but would have been funner with a larger group. ( it was only 3 of us) The go karts are also awesome, my child had so much fun. The employees are very nice and helpful as well. We didn’t try the food but we got snacks & drinks. There is no Entrance Fee here. Everything is priced separately & is charged per person. I honestly wish the rides were included. They were pretty pricey. Overall, everything was fun & will come back to try the other things they have.

Staff were very kind and friendly. There are 3 rides here, the tilt a whirl, scrambler and a spinning bear ride. A tall fair like slide, batting cages, go carts, skating rink and mini golf. This is a fun place to take your family. My 9 year old throughly enjoyed it. We came for the demon hunters night and had a great time. Now for the negatives, the mini golf course needs work. The ones that have you hit your ball in and come out to a different part on the #2 course almost always got stuck, that was annoying. It also smelled pretty bad around the water areas and wasnt cleaned well, they should have someone come out with a leaf blower and blow the debris out atleast once a day. As we were leaving out through the DQ my daughter wanted a powerade but the employee there said they couldn't sell it to me as they were putting cash inside the drawer, then ignored me and turned to walk out, saved me from spending even more so I guess thats not too bad.

If you go on a weekend, be prepared to get there early and buy your tickets online ahead of time. There are two lines when you get there one for people that have bought tickets and others for people that haven’t bought tickets yet. If you want to bring an easy up, you have to go all the way to the right, which is kind of far from the slides. I suggest just bringing umbrellas if you wanna be close to the jumping area. It is very, very crowded For such a small beach, but our kids had a blast bouncing all day long. Again, get there early before it opens maybe about a half hour before. Overall, a good time.

The lake takes about 75 minutes to walk around. There's some free parking but the lots cost a small fee. The water had signs about toxic algae so it's recommended not to swim. Despite this people still swim and fish here. The lake has lots of trees to keep shady with parts exposed to sun. I pushed a baby stroller which is fine for maybe 2/3rds of the lake but parts you need to carry it down steps or small hill. Over all it was great

Nice place to walk. Fairly flat for the most part and you do have to take a detour onto a sidewalk of a street to complete the full loop. Parking is paid in the main parking lots but there’s also street parking. There are several parking lots and there is an app to download from the App Store to pay. You will need to remember your plate number and the parking spot number. One nice thing about the app is it will remind you when you are getting close to the end of the time you paid for. Plus you can top up your balance from where ever you are. No need to go back to your car and find some loose change. There is also an enclosed area serving as a dog park - it fun to watch the dogs playing together. Only downside was going on a weekend and all the people hanging out playing their music. Wouldn’t class this as a hike per se but more of a hang out spot. Going on a weekday and it’s nice and quiet. Just a few folk out for a stroll or walking their dogs. There are some nice local coffee shops, a Goodwin’s market and beautiful views that all make for a nice day out.

This is My town! I love it! God loves it and He's going to do His thing to make San Bernardino and California Great Again! Are you helping? Are you picking up paper that you walk by on the sidewalk throw it in the trash? What about public bathrooms to pick up the paper off the floor it's only paper. It's not dirty. Throw it the trash. Do your bit. Every little bit helps to make a city sparkling and shiny and new.

This place is great! Strenuous hike down into a deep canyon and easy to get lost, especially if you haven't been there before, the map they give you is confusing, please give yourself as least an hour to hike out before sunset, is back up out of the canyon over 2 miles, got lost in the dark last time with no service and it was scary! 5 different pools, busy on the weekends, clothing optional, I like during the week a lot better.

Oh my gosh!!! the best hot spring in california so far. #vanlife camped at Bowen Campground & stayed one night. i wished for more The washboard dirt road is a slow going (unless you actually want to trash your vehicle) It’s so worth it. the entire experience was extraterrestrial. It’s part of the PCTrail and there are multiple trails that lead in with quite a few people from LA area coming in for some hours. I recommend camping Check out the website for more info. if you like hot springs this is one to go to. cheers.
Teri K — Google review
Another one of my favorite hot springs. The hike from the ranch is not clearly marked when you start but once you fint the trail it is a steep downhill hike with breathtaking views. Once you reach the springs there are various pools to soak in with various temperatures. We went early and there were already a few people there. Seems that they illegally camped there. The vibe is great. The surroundings beautiful. Everywhere nice and clean. We really enjoyed our visit.
Johan C — Google review
A very doable hike (with good planning depending time of year) ending in fantastic hot springs. The Bowen Ranch itself is very beautiful, isolated and rustic, which is awesome, with self check in. But I or anyone really would appreciate a little more information before setting out for the first time. And maybe to lodge guests hiking plan, as the 'call us if you get lost' doesn't work with no cell service in the canyon. I was not aware the springs were on the opposite side of the trail end, thought I had made a wrong turn. and was tearfully going to give up had another hiker not shown up to lead the way traversing the pond to save my day. Thanks buddy! **** so when the trail ends, the springs are on the other side and depending on rain, you may have to wade over *****
Mrs ( — Google review
Saw this place on the map and was curious to see it. Best decision ever! There are several ways to get there. We chose to get there by hiking for 1.5 hrs on a partially very steep path. I would highly recommend to wear good hiking boots as the path can be quite slippery and did I mention that it can be quite steep. The water in the little ponds is exceptionally warm but not too hot. The environment is beautiful and taking a hot "bath" surrounded by mountains and just beside the a creek is a great experience. Highly recommend to visit this hidden jewel.
Epi S — Google review
It's a harsh hike to the springs on hot days, but it's a great spot to visit. Icy cold river water and steamy hot springs. Just make sure you're prepared for the steep hike out. Bring plenty of water or even better a water filtration pump. You can refill at the river.
Na N — Google review
We camp overnight at Bowen Ranch which allowed us to take the short way to the hot springs the next morning. We started around 8:30am with 71 °. The trail is easy to follow, there are many signs on the way. The hot springs are really nice, we went on a weekday so it wasn’t crowded. The way back can be really hard if you go on summer days. Make sure to pack enough water.
Marta A — Google review
We hiked to Deep Creek Hot Springs via the Bradford Ridge Path. You can find the directions and map on the AllTrails app. It was 2.5 miles each way. The trail is strenuous, but doable for most fit people. The last .5 miles is pretty much straight down to the creek, so that means it’s straight up on the way out of the canyon. You’ll have to be prepared for a lot of slipping and sliding on the loose sandy soil. Wear good hiking shoes or trail running shoes and you’ll be happy you did. The hot springs themselves are gorgeous. The area was surprisingly clean for the amount of people there. It was crowded, but we were still able to soak in the pools and swim in the creek. There are a lot of naked people, drinking and pot smoking so you have to be ok with all that. It’s a great place to spend the day.

This extraordinary location serves as a serene spot for meditation and an opportunity to connect with nature. It is situated on privately owned land, necessitating the courtesy of seeking permission and treating the area with respect. Prior authorization was granted by an individual present at the premises, attesting to its popularity among visitors. The pillar can be easily reached after a brief stroll from the street, while parking options are available outside. However, in wet conditions, the terrain may pose some challenges.
Such a unique place to meditate and take in nature. It is on private property so ask for permission and be respectful. There was someone on the grounds and I was able to obtain permission to proceed. They confirmed that it’s a popular place. Quick walk from the street to the pillar. Some parking on the outside. The terrain can be tough if it rained. Beautiful views of the lake as well. I have T-Mobile and I had service. Google maps got me there. I would recommend downloading the map before u head to the area as the reception was spotty.

I spent a lot of time there on Unification Church retreats in the early 1980's. The men's bunk house was actually the basement of the beautiful Mozumdar Temple structure. It's one of the most beautiful peaceful places I've ever experienced. Some of the best memories I have.
Steve N — Google review
I took my parents to go see the pillars and the blocked off gate gave this place a really bad first impression… I looked up the reviews to see if anyone mentioned anything about how to get from the street to it and saw the previous post. Armed with that information we decided fo ask for permission and honestly - I have never been so creeped out in my life. I felt like the main actor on what could be the beginning of a horror movie and got a weird eerie feeling from the moment we walked passed the gate to ask for permission. There was no one around. The property does not have the most welcoming environment, and there are no signs whatsoever on how to proceed. There’s a small sign at the end of the street pointing to the direction of the pillars, but nothing really telling you how to proceed passed the gate. You think that with this being such a popular place that the owners would capitalize on it and put up a sign with instructions on what to do. Well, after walking passed the gate (having practically yelled hello for the 100th time to let anyone around know that we weren’t trespassing), and slowly making our way to the front door of the house to knock and ask for permission, we gave up and turned back around. Such a shame and a waste of time, but we felt so relieved after getting back to our vehicle, starting our car, and hearing the automatics door locks engage because at this point we all had zero cell phone reception. Be ready to be ok with making the drive and walking away empty handed.

Ford Park is a picturesque recreational area that features ponds where visitors can engage in frisbee golf, as well as enjoy the presence of various ducks. The park also offers a shaded playground, well-lit tennis courts, and ample open grass fields for activities and picnics. While there are restrooms available, the absence of a convenient walking path for individuals with mobility challenges or those pushing strollers is a drawback.
Love this park!! You can spend a day with the grill and family. You can have a quick run or hike. You can bring your kids to the playground. You can bring your dog to the dog park. You can feed the ducks or turtles. Very calming and peaceful.

We love this park. We come here to fish and for picnics sometimes. They’re under construction at the moment for a nice update that we’re excited to see. I just wish it was easier to access. To get to the ponds you have to walk up a large gravel/dirt hill which is hard to do with a stroller or wheelchair.

I have gone to Ford Park since the late 60’s. It has a small kids playground. If you walk up the hill there are two ponds with ducks. Below the pond is dog park. Two separate areas, one for small dogs, the other for large dogs. They also have tennis courts and a couple pickle ball courts .

Lytle Creek Park is a 17.9-acre recreational park nestled in a residential area, offering various sports courts, playgrounds, and picnic facilities. Leashed dogs are welcome to roam the park's expansive grounds. The park features a built-in ping pong table and an active recreation center with water attractions for kids to enjoy during the summer months. With plenty of shade from lush trees, it provides a peaceful setting for families to take leisurely walks or engage in outdoor workouts.
Started coming here for a class and after, my daughter plays at the playground. Staff inside the rec center is always nice. The kids' playground area is always clean and everything in working order. The other patrons are also always nice. I love all the aged trees and shade. I would have loved to see benches near the playground for parents or kids that need a break but other than that, it's a great place to bring your kids. Haven't seen any homeless or shady people hanging around. I will say there are quite a bit of people just sitting in their cars in the parking lot. Not sure what that's about but I haven't had any issues with that nor have I seen anyone doing anything suspicious.

I went with my grandkids and it was fun but not comfortable. I got bit up a lot but my grandkids did have fun so I can't say it was thr worse park. Not sure I would go back again tho.

All the bathrooms were locked and closed on a Saturday afternoon. That is not even right. It did have an amazing splash pad and tables with a cover and lots of shade. 2 playgrounds, everything would have been a perfect 5 stars, except those bathrooms being locked just brought it down. It is a maybe if we go here again. At least if we go we know there is no bathroom access and the closest public bathroom is a shell gas station that takes a quarter to open the bathroom.

Of course, everyone involved was staying safe with masks up and hands gloved. From the @xtrakredit IG account, it was announced that over 500+ meals were handed out, which is 500+ more meals that would’ve been handed out if no one showed up inspired by the real great man in charge of the operations. My kid had a soccer game at this park. It was our first visit. The park is situated right in the middle of a beautiful new community. I wish more communities had this set up.

This review is just for the basketball court. This court is deceivingly nice. I've played in a lot of courts but this is probably one of the most annoying I've ever played in. -double rim -the ground is lopsided. Whether you make your shot or miss, it will roll away from you to either the dirt area that's way too close or all the way next to the baseball field -not even a full half court -dirt/plant area too close to the court (your ball will get covered in dirt) -trees with metal railings too close to the court that can be a collision hazard -huge gaps on the concrete Overall a poorly designed basketball court.
Ram R — Google review
This would be better if they had enough parking. During soccer season all families park on the neighboring streets, up to a 15 minute walk away from the park entrance. And I feel bad for all the people who own homes in that area because it gets so crowded Saturday mornings. And for all the people that visit, there are only two toilet stalls in the women's room which never seems to be enough. The grounds of the park do seem to be well maintained, as is the very small playground.

I was so impressed with the display of the professors at the school and their art exhibit. You can know someone, but until you see a creative display with all the thought and depth of an artistic professional - you only see a part of them. I enjoyed the showing and will return. Parking is a bit of a mess, but it's only temporary - due to construction. Parking on the north street would be closest. 'W.Esperanza' is the street. Bathroom is nearby,at the administration building to the west... Go out of building and turn left.

I drove up to Love Art Studio. They have an outdoor wedding area, natural fire sauna, small aquarium for coy fish, teepee for tenting, art gallery, and their main clay pottery class! Two dogs greeted us as The most interesting place I've been to. The natural environment surrounding was so beautiful. The owner was a person with so much artistic inspiration. I was able to appreciate works of art.

The most interesting place I've been to!! They have an outdoor wedding area, natural fire sauna, small aquarium for coy fish, teepee for tenting, art gallery, and their main clay pottery class!! I'm going to take my homeschool group to camp here during the summer!

My spouse & I drove up to Love Art Studio Tuesday 5-9-17. We were met by Marian who showed us the studio. I was impressed by the paintings & by Marian's chicken farm. Three dogs greeted us as we left my car. It was a very serene area & we enjoyed our visit very much.

Art gallery
Quaint and nice gallery. Artist Ruston W Patton was in action and we went there to see his great work.

I enjoyed the artwork. Hubby i did a quick walk thru and had fun doing so. I definitely suggeat getting the tickets online in advance. You avoid the long line. The only thing that i found frustrating was the art ushers. They were a bit too much scolding us not to get too close when we wouldn't be touching anything. Other than that it was pleasant and something fun to do if you're looking for something free.

The Little Gallery may be little, but has big heart! They have new shows every month, featuring local artists, with opening receptions, workshops, and other events. Eric, Andrew and team are dedicated to bringing art to the community and supporting artists. Come to one of the openings and see what I mean.

Ray of light in san berdoo. Excellent exhibitions, thoughtfully curation, expert presented. Great for the community
Cynde B — Google review
I suppose, it does what it needs to but I think the lighting coulda been better and there coulda been a nice refreshment table. it's like a tiny bedroom with a closet and not even a door on it but instead a curtain.

Good little gallery in the heart of San Bernardino. Brings much needed culture to the town.
