Seafood restaurant
La Maison du Pêcheur, situated at 155 Place du Quai, is a top-notch fine-dining establishment in Perce. Despite its unassuming exterior, the restaurant's history as a fish warehouse and later a youth hostel adds to its charm. The menu focuses on locally sourced seafood such as salmon, halibut, scallops, and lobsters prepared in unique and creative ways. The restaurant's location by the St. Lawrence River enhances the dining experience with picturesque views.
Was able to get a reservation for 4 last minute, but highly recommend you call ahead if planning on visiting. We ordered good wine, red and white, then enjoyed the Seafood and Clam Chowder, very good, ordered the halibut which was exceptional and flavourful. Also ordered the Trident plate, which had Salmon, Lobster Risotto and Scallops, the best dish! Finished dinner with their in-house made sugar pie! Views of the Pierced Rock and Ocean were spectacular. We ate inside but they offer patio, and back of house all glass Atrium. Highly recommend.

First Visit – Pleasantly Surprised! My friend and I visited La Maison du pêcheur for the first time, and it was a truly pleasant experience from start to finish. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the food exceeded our expectations—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Service was excellent. servers were nice and gave us good explanations. Food portions were a bit small for the price (or pricey for the portion). Food tasted great tho. Got the starter platter which was my favorite. I loved the salads. RESERVE AHEAD. It crowded very fast.

I was at a Gaspesie Ministry of Tourism event, and I asked the locals a simple question - "If I can only dine at one restaurant to soak up the flavor of Gaspesie, where should I go?". They recommended this restaurant, and they were (of course) absolutely right. This place lives up to its renowned reputation. I was most impressed by the fish spread offered with the bread as an appetizer. It was fresh, delicious, and uniquely different than any I've had before. Make sure to order the lobster, as I was told to do. It's locally caught the same day as being served, and the prices are incredibly reasonable.

We made a last-minute reservation for a late dinner at the bar, and it turned out to be the best choice! The food was simply amazing, and the service and atmosphere created by the bartenders were outstanding. We got excellent recommendations, shared a bunch of laughs, and left not only with a great impression of the restaurant but also with another spot from the same owners on our list to visit in Montreal. A spot that instantly made us feel at home.
Donizette D — Google review
Best to reserve in advance as we saw them turn away people without reservations (try calling them if online booking is full!). We arrived exactly at the time of our reservation, gave our names, and then proceeded to wait as they let in multiple parties who arrived after us (including several groups of 2)… We were then seated at a table with the service station right behind us. Yet, it took a while for someone to come to see us. The food itself was impeccable, although expensive. We then waited a long time to be able to order dessert. So, while the food and ambiance were great, we were somewhat disappointed with the service. Would still recommend for a nice sit down dinner by the water.
Joana — Google review
Food was amazing, the waiter was very nice, the atmosphere was excellent, the decor and chandelier are beautiful with a magnificent view of Percé Rock, the price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity, the best restaurant in Percé, and a must-eat. Strongly recommend making a reservation in advance as early as possible.
C M — Google review
Positives: Food was amazing, our bartender (we sat at the bar) fantastic and very friendly. The weather was perfect and unlike most I think the menu prices are for the vast majority justifiable. Negatives: the seating system/hostess ruined both our visits. We made two reservations over a month in advance and asked for a a regular table in the dining room. Both times we showed up 15 minutes before our reservation but weren’t called until 45 and 30 minutes after our reservation. Once we were called very late we were sat at the bar both times while they were still allowing walk ins at the same time. Very amateur stuff from a beautiful restaurant. Pro tip: go for a lunch reservation on a week day and eat a snack before in case your reservation gets delayed 30+ minutes like everyone else.

Bakery

Coffee store
Boulangerie le Fournand Inc, established in 1994, offers a wide variety of French and Quebecois pastries, viennoiseries, and healthy meals. Over time, it has expanded to include a café section serving excellent hot and cold beverages. The bakery is an ideal spot for grabbing lunch or putting together a picnic to enjoy the view of Rocher Percé. Located conveniently in the heart of the village with indoor and outdoor seating options available.
I just finished eating this 1min ago - I had to write this review immediately. This was hands down the BEST mille feuilles I've had in my life. Light, with perfect texture on the puff pastry. You KNOW this is 100% handmade crème pâtissière & they used real butter. Nothing store bought (which a lot of bakery do). I'd come back just for that alone. The melasse cookie was not too sweet. Great melasse flavor that isn't overpowering. Love the hint of ginger flavor. The raisin cookie was so soft! Again, everything was perfectly balanced. Nothing too sweet. About 10$ for the box in my picture.
Shadee — Google review
Delicious baked goods and desserts. High quality coffee as well. The croissants were crispy and we enjoyed them for our breakfast . Mille-Feuille was the best one I ever had so far!! It had a perfect sweetness and the puff layered pastry had excellent texture. The sandwich and soup were yummy as well. Only the downsides of this bakery were, They only accept cash or debit. No credit cards. Bring tons of cash if you don't use a debit card because there are so many goodies to choose from!! We went twice during our stay at Percé. Both times, there was a long lineup. Prepare to wait about 10-15 minutes to order. They have a spacious seating area inside and terrace outside.

Spent a wonderfully productive afternoon at this cute little town coffee shop ✨— stunning sea view, cozy vibe, and incredible pastries baked fresh daily (no wonder they sell out!). The teas are exceptional, and the snacks pair perfectly for a work session by the water. Huge thanks to the kind and hardworking lady running the place — your warm hospitality made my day. Highly recommend! 🌊☕️🥐
Claudia P — Google review
Very busy spot but by far the best pastries on the south Gaspésie shore. The desserts are Devine, made with finesse and never too sweet (even if it is a maple tart). The lemon eclair was my favourite. The breads are available in different density, Portuguese is nice and light, au levin is dense and firm and excellent baguette. After trying many different Pâtisseries along the towns along the shore, we now have decided to drive to Percé when we need our sugar fix. It’s a delight every time

Quebec Cafés cannot be beat and this is no exception. Staff were friendly and quick to help. Food was delicious à with good price points. Atmosphere was beautiful. A must try if in Perce.

Such a nice spot, with good prices and Delicious food. The staff is so friendly, helpful and also so patient. They are bilingual and have some vegetarian options.
Norma A — Google review
They left their open sign on and their door open after closing time so, when I walked in for the first time expecting a latte, I was annoyed to find out they were closed. I'm so glad I tried again the next day because everything was AMAZING. The coffee was good. The staff were friendly. And, as someone who doesn't usually care for sweets, I can say that their desserts were PHENOMENAL. I ordered some for my family and I thought my husband was being dramatic when he kept exclaiming after trying each one. Nope. Not an exaggeration. They were truly delicious.

Restaurant
Restaurant La Maison Mathilde offers an exceptional culinary experience with a diverse and high-quality menu that caters to the whole family. Whether you choose to dine indoors or on their heated terrace, your visit promises to be unforgettable. The restaurant provides fast and efficient service with comfortable seating and a beautiful view. Their apple caramel pancake is a standout dish, not overly sweet and filled with delicious apple slices. The staff are friendly and accommodating, willing to make substitutions for dietary preferences.
This was my favorite place to grab breakfast during our roadtrip around Gaspésie. I got the Eggs Benedict with mushrooms and Brie cheese. There was another dish served with some coconut chia pudding and fruits that was well liked by my family member. We were seated outside, facing the water in the distance. It was very nice and peaceful. If you have spare time after dining here, you can walk around the coast and spot the Percé rock in the distance. P.S. The place seemed a bit busy. It would be better to get there a little ahead of time to lower your wait time.
Kartiki S — Google review
Got the breakfast platter and my partner had their eggs Benedict with lobster. Both were excellent! Lovely little place next to the water (we were seated on the terrace with the view of the ocean). A must try if you’re looking for a cozy breakfast. Only negative comment was the wait time for our coffee (give or take 15 minutes after we were seated). Overall 4/5!
Melissa A — Google review
Pretty content of my visit to this beautiful and cozy restaurant in Percé. My fiancee and I had the clam chowder and the soup of the day which was a vegetable creme soup. The clam chowder was a bit salty for my taste. For appetizers, we had the crab cake and the salmon tartare. I was amazed by how light and fresh the crab cake was. The salmon tartare was amazing For mains, my fiancee had the pan seared cod, which was cooked to perfection. It came with a white wine sauce which was delicious. I had the seafood pasta. I have to say that among all the seafood pastas I've tried in different restaurants in Gaspésie, this one has to be one of my favorites. The flavour of the sauce was perfectly balanced and creamy. Good amount of seafood and well cooked. Finally, for dessert we had the amazing molten cake with seasalt caramel on top. Absoluty delicious. Also really enjoyed that mermaid tail design on the plate as you can see on the picture 🤣. Overall, pretty satisfied with my meal and definitely one of my favorites in Gaspésie.

My fiance and I LOVED this place. So much so that we went there twice in one day. (Breakfast, then dinner) We especially loved dinner! The crab cake, salmon pasta, and salmon wrapped scallops were some of the best seafood dishes we’ve ever had. We finished off with the lime pie, and it was so good we wished we had gotten 2. Also, huge applause to our server. I don’t know his name, but he went above and beyond with suggestions! We’ll eat here any time we are back in Percé!
Kaitlyn C — Google review
Food is amazing. Service not as high quality as the food. Again they were missing items on the menu. This time they had no vodka. Signature cocktails could not be made. Still recommend this place to all. I will be back

Restaurant Paqbo is a dining spot located in the Riotel, offering a remarkable view of the fleuve and the enchanting ambiance of Parc National de l'Ile-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Perce. The restaurant provides a casual atmosphere with excellent food. Guests can enjoy breakfast with satisfying portions and quality coffee. Seafood chowder and platters are highly recommended for their deliciousness, while Gaspesian-style cod may need more flavor.
We were happy to find this restaurant on a busy day. They had printed English menus, which saved us a lot of time figuring out the choices. The food was excellent, and since we arrived later in the day, we didn’t have to wait long as the dining crowd was thinning out. Their kids’ menu was also good—see attached picture.
Vaheesan K — Google review
The staff is very friendly but... the appetizer was insane small but good. The ribs were thought, the pizza was not cooked properly (raw in the middle) and the fries were greasy. All in all, for what they charge, i would stay away. This restaurant is way over priced.
Guy R — Google review
The food was delicious! It was one of the best seafood chowders I've had. Found it to be a bit pricey, but the food quality was impeccable. Make sure you book a reservation. I didn't so our first night in Perce we couldn't eat at the hotel.
Isaac T — Google review
I had the breakfast there. Everything was perfect, good size, good taste. The view on the Gulf and Roché Percé is awesome.
Patrick M — Google review
Food taste good, chicken is very tender. Seafood pizza seems small but is full of topping. It is a thick crust pizza. Nice view.

Excellent fresh sea food! We found it to be better then some other higher rates restaura nts in Perce. Just reserve in advance to be sure.

Tonight I had shrimp linguini. The shrimp were unbelievably tender and the cream sauce was delicious (not too heavy). Loved the atmosphere and our server was super pleasant and attentive. It’s not cheap, but for me it was worth every penny.

This was the most disappointing part of the trip. Baby lobster, minute rice and frozen vegetables with a side of microwaved bread. Tasted like hospital food.

La Boîte à Fruits de Mer is a charming spot located near the boardwalk, offering a stunning terrace with views of the sea and Bonaventure Island. It's both a fish store and a restaurant, known for its delicious lobster dishes like guediles (Lobster Roll), mussels, oysters, as well as other seafood options such as crab and shrimp. Visitors can enjoy craft beer and wine while taking in the beautiful scenery.
What a great experience. Freshest seafood we've ever had. Fantastic server ( André ) with a great personality. Everything was amazing, Entrées, main courses, key lime pie dessert. They also had micro brewery beers. Wish I could give 6 stars...
Philippe P — Google review
I do not want to label it with a tourist trap, but it was very bad. First of all the old lady server did not speak English at all, it caused some communication issues. The bread was cold. We ordered the half Fishman cage, we had waited 45 minutes to get it on the table. The inner center of the scallops was still cold, among six mussels, one was empty, one was gone bad, one was sandy. The rice was undercooked. The lobster had a big head and tiny tail. The old lady server came and checked, we told her the issues with the food, she just went away. We thought she went to talk to the chef, apparently she did not.
Patrick X — Google review
I was lucky with my choice, the salmon was good, but the other dishes we ordered didn’t really meet our expectations, so I wouldn’t recommend it overall
Imed I — Google review
Simply didn't get our food. 45 minutes after ordering, we still didn't have our appetizers. Other tables that arrived after us were getting their food much faster. Not sure why we were forgotten. It is what it is. We paid for our drinks and left.
Francis P — Google review
Food was ordinary. Nothing special. The lobster roll is very small compared to other places. Service was extremely slow and no one ever even said sorry about it. The lady just said ah we are full today, so we are busy, not even sorry about the wait or anything... it took forever to receive menus, then to get the food, then every time we needed water or napkins, etc. 2 of us order the same plate, one came with bread and the other one no bread, it was forgotten, we had to ask for it.
Karol I — Google review
Service was good but food was terrible. The lobster roll is nothing like the pictures. The bread is too thick, and the amount of lobster was very disappointing. There couldn't have been more than a table spoon of lobster in the whole thing. I'm talking about a three to one ratio of salad to lobster. Leaving both hungry and upset.
Romain G — Google review
There was a waiting line the day we arrived of about 45min, which would've been worth the wait if the food was good. Service was nice, all the ladies were happy and helpful. But it took about an hour to get served (they had full house this day). We ordered a sangria and a pineapple mule, they were just decent but tasted mostly like juice. Afterwards a soup of the day which was a very basic vegetable cream. Our main dishes were a smoked salmon penne pasta that lacked flavor and salmon, although the portion was generous, it had very little tiny shredded pieces of salmon, could not tell apart from smoked or not. My husband had a Salmon maple glazed that arrived with burned rice, basic salad and an overly glazed small salmon portion. In general the food felt overhyped, their staff is great and all but there's definitely better places to eat in Percé other than this, leave it as a last option for sure.
Kimberly G — Google review
My husband and I spent 2 nights in Percé this past week and we found this great seafood restaurant! Our server, Alvine was wonderful and the food was fantastic! It was so good that we went back the next night and requested Ms Alvine again! Truly a gem of a restaurant!

La Vieille Usine de l'Anse-à-Beaufils is a charming Cafe-Bistro style restaurant located on the quay of a former fishing port. The enchanting decor and the view of the bustling boats add to its appeal. The menu features excellent local seafood dishes such as shellfish, salmon burger, and smoked mackerel mousse. Additionally, it offers vegan options like a delicious burger, dumpling soup, and banana split.

I was so pleasantly surprised to find vegan options in Gaspésie! At La Vieille Usine in L'Anse-à-Beaufils, I had their delicious vegan burger 🍔 and brownie with ice cream. The other vegan options are dumpling soup and banana split. The burger, which came with roasted veg, dijonnaise, roasted potatoes, and salad, was hearty and filling. I think the patty was Gardein but I'm not certain. The brownie was pretty ordinary (too cakey and not fudgy enough) but the ice cream was excellent! 😍
Xena W — Google review
After visiting the old historical General store museum around 2pm we passed by La Vieille Usine to have a pinte of beer and eat something. We were seated in about 15 minutes. Understandably shortage of servers was visible. Our server took our order very fast. Beers arrived very fast. Then we waited about 45 minutes for our soup order. Meanwhile everyone arriving after us was being served with their food orders. At one point I had to ask in French "did you forget our order?" She answered. "no didn't forget" which clearly she had forgotten. The grilled bread that comes with the soup was stale. The soup was nice at $ 25.00 the meal size bowl. Big chunks of fish but broth lacked flavor. If you are at the area go there. The beer selection is awesome. The food is ok. Nothing to rave home about.
Hera S — Google review
Food was okay. The Coquille de fruits de mer seems to be made with canned or frozen seafood. A bit bland. The crab Panini was delicious. Out of 4 people, they got my husbands order wrong 4 times. Unsure if it's a waitress issue as they don't write things down or a kitchen issue that doesn't read the order properly. Seems to be a bit of both as they kept coming back with the wrong items.

Health food restaurant
Restaurant Maison Black Whale par Nath & Compagnie is situated in the heart of Perce's village, within walking distance from most accommodations. The restaurant is housed in a charming contemporary beach-style building with a minimalist yet cozy interior and a small number of indoor tables along with an outdoor terrace. It's advisable to make reservations due to limited seating. Guests have praised the delicious meals, excellent service, and pleasant staff at this establishment.
My wife and I went out for dinner at the Maison Black Whale. The parking can present a problem, but we were able to park in an unattended lot next to the Co-Op grocery store. The waitress from Quebec city was very engaging and wonderful to have as a server. The atmosphere was quaint, fun and lively. The wine pairing with our meal, as suggested by the server was perfect. My wife had a shrimp and lobster roll that she found to be delicious. The dish came with a potato salad and a green salad. My wife preferred the lobster and shrimp with the green salad more than the potato salad. I had a delicious tomato based cod and salmon soup. The card and salmon really surprised me, and it was truly a soup and not a chowder. It was accompanied with thin slices of baguettes that the menu referred to as croutons. The mayonnaise rouille with a hint of saffron was delicious, but I didn’t find it necessary with the meal. The side dish of cheese I think was Gruyere and it went so nicely in the soup. This restaurant receives my full recommendation and referral
Roger C — Google review
The service of this restaurant is horrible. We made a reservation online, when we waited at the door the waiter ignored us and seated the French speaking customers behind us first. When we try to order the waiter saw us waving, told us to wait and never came back to us. We had to call him over again. He speaks english, but we can definitely felt being treated differently from the French speaking customers. The waiter will check on other French speaking customers and chat with them. We were ignored the whole time at the corner. The food tasted pretty good but the portion of the food is small and expensive. The octopus was very tiny and it cost over $20. We don’t recommend this restaurant at all.
Bettie X — Google review
The place is a gem! The servers are very kind. They have local food, wine, beer, and ciders. They have delicious gluten-free food too!

After a long day of driving to Perce, we opted to eat here. We are non-native speakers and the staff demonstrated great patience and were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a glass of local wine, charcuterie board, fish soup and pork dumplings. The soup was tomato based and included herbs, vegetables, cod and salmon. It was superb. I would dine here again without reservation.

What a cute little place. The food was exceptional ! It compares with gastronomy from Montreal. I don't know what creative juice the chef is drinking but keep it up. Buvette Thérèse is a top dining spot in Perce, offering a fantastic culinary experience. The restaurant boasts modern and inviting ambiance with friendly and accommodating staff. Despite being busy, the team ensures that every guest feels welcome. The seafood dishes are particularly noteworthy, featuring fresh ingredients and exquisite flavors. While some patrons found the portion sizes to be on the smaller side, the overall quality of the food received high praise.
Had an amazing experience at this restaurant with my fiancee on our trip to Gaspésie. For appetizers, we had the scallop crudo and beef tartare. Even though the portion of the scallop was small, it was sweet, tender and the sauce was delicious. The beef tartare was succulent. For mains, we had fish and chips + seafood pasta. Although I didn't enjoy the tartare sauce, the fish was crispy and tasty on its own. The seafood pasta was excellent, creamy and full of seafood flavour. Finally, for dessert, we took the panna cotta and crème brulée, which were a perfect ending for our meal. Not to mention the kindness of all the servers we had. Highly recommended restaurant if you ever go to Percé!

Review from a foodie: Lovely ambiance and friendly service, but the food fell short for the price. Portions were on the smaller side and the wait for food was quite long. The octopus was tender but slightly overcooked, with a charred tail that wasn’t edible. Fish of the day was a bit overdone and the puree lacked depth. Crudo was light but not particularly memorable. The focaccia, however, was fresh and delicious. Note price per person includes that we split a bottle of wine.
Natasha O — Google review
So the short of it is this is the best dining experience you'll have in Percé. Very nice plating presentation and taste is great. Seafood is fresh the only criticism I would say here is why such small scallops and shrimps?? At those prices I was expecting at least large shrimps and scallops they were quite tiny considering we are ocean side. But again very tasty we each had the surf and turf and the filet Mignon was cooked perfectly and seasoned very nicely and we shared the scallops as an appetizer. Even the kids enjoyed the pizza and gnocchi. The beers were also excellent AuVal on tap.

The food was amazing! Our waitress went out of her way to make my birthday night amazing. Although they were short staffed she really worked hard to make our night awesome! Thank you so much

Great place, great food, great staff!👌 It took a bit of time for someone to acknowledge us but we could tell they were pretty busy. We didn't have a reservation and they were able to accommodate us. Loved the gas fireplace outside.🔥 Portions were a little small for our appetite but we wanted to stay, so we just ordered more food 😅🤣. We got the fish & chips, scallops & shrimps as well as the beef tab steak & fries. Our 4 year old loved everything!👧 We will surely be back! 🤗 Merci Billy!! 😉🥂🍾

The restaurant was very dark inside, and we had to use my cell phone light to read the menu and look at the dishes. The tables are cramped, and we are seated on tables mounted on stilts. The dishes are decent, but the portions are small. In conclusion, it is a bit pricy compared to the quantity; big eaters should avoid this restaurant.
C M — Google review
I was very disappointed when the waitress told me mostly all the menu are appetizers/entrees (small portions). The main dishes are pizza or steak. The food is very simple for the price. We paid $12 for a dessert that was not really good, also the presentation of the food is not the best. The service is very nice and i recommend to make a reservation if you want to visit this place. I believe the place is more a bar to drink a coctel/ beer and share some appetizers with friends more than a dinner place.
Claudia B — Google review
Waited an hour for food that was genuinely terrible - the bread, chicken, and octopus were so overcooked they were inedible, the salmon tartare was not fresh. I rely on all your reviews when traveling….we could not possibly recommend this restaurant.

Resto-Pub Le Ravage is a cozy spot in Perce that offers a variety of delicious dishes. Despite some initial hesitations, visitors were pleasantly surprised by the fresh and tasty fish and chips, homard bisque, seafood chowder, hamburgers, pizzas, and chicken nuggets from the kids' menu. The service was excellent with reasonable wait times. Many guests appreciated the reasonably priced beer and classic poutine.
Not sure why this place has some negative reviews. I'm from Ontario and the beer was not overpriced at all or their pitcher's. We ordered their classic poutine and it was good not bad at all. Plus I came here with my kids after a long drive and the atmosphere and music it's excellent.

We liked it! Although there were some negative reviews, we decided to try it and were pleased !! The service was fast, the food was so good, and the beer is very well priced. Our server spoke English and the atmosphere was great! Thank you!!
Karina N — Google review
We came here when it was fairly empty - raining outside. Service was fast, waiters courteous and the food was really, really good! We had the wings - excellent! Not fatty or too saucy, we also had the calamari and the buffalo chicken burger. Very satisfied!
Elena P — Google review
Extremely over priced, the portions are small and the fish and chips were the most meh thing I had in the whole trip. the house poutine tasted really good, but then again, too tiny. Be sure of not being to hungry because… well you’ll wait. Good side? Definitely clean bathrooms (just checked with my husband and it seems only the women ones were too shape)

What a gr8 place. Our server was fantastic. She managed our lack of French speaking very well. Food was out fast and was excellent. I had seafood poutine. Excellent

The fish and chips, homard bisque, seafood chowder, the hamburger and pizza and chicken nuggets from kids menu - everything we ordered was fresh and delicious! We were a bit reluctant when we saw the comments here, but we had a great service, and the wait time was reasonable. We never regrettted having our dinner there. This pub seems to be one of the very few restaurants that is open on Mon and Tue in Percé, so the wait time during those days is explicable. The staff (Caroline) was extremely nice and friendly and helpful. We trully enjoyed our dinner there.

Really homey, the food tasted and looked great, super friendly service (our waitress, Sonja, was super nice!). All in all, a really good place to have supper. The menu for outside is kind of lacking in variety and “full” meals, but inside, it’s amazing.

Disappointing slow service - took over 20 mins after being seated even to have someone bring us water (and we arrived when the restaurant was 2/3 empty), but friendly when they did show up. Food was over cooked & dry, and they were out of many options. Expensive for what it was.

Pub Pit Caribou in Percé is a charming and festive spot with a typical coastal village look. It offers a wide selection of local craft beers to suit all tastes, along with snacks featuring local flavors. The interior boasts a spacious layout, pool table, stage area for live music, and ample seating. Visitors can enjoy the picturesque view of boats docking at L'Anse-à-Beaufils while savoring a Pit Caribou beer before catching a show.
The deluxe seafood poutine was wow! 🤩 Seafood meats were very generous. We could have done it without the chicken wings (we didn’t think it would come with fries). Staff are friendly and dogs are allowed on the outside patio. Loved the beers 🍻
Jenny — Google review
Pit Caribou has a nice atmosphere however, the name may show up on Google but it really goes by another name. Staff is friendly, however I don't like them looking right over my shoulder to see how much I'll tip. The burger of the day was completely flavorless since I had them remove the bacon and sauce made of it. Wish they would have put something else. The bloody Caesar was mostly ice but the beer was okay. My partners poutine deluxe was under seasoned... Missing flavor unfortunately.
Mr R — Google review
A bit underwhelming experience, probably should've gone to the other location. The server didn't seem to know much about their beers. On the other hand, the bacon seaweed fries were DELICIOUS. I would go again only for these fries, do not skip the fries!!

This place has a fantastic American-Canadian vibe! The seafood is incredibly fresh and beautifully plated. Pair it with a great selection of beer, and you’ve got a perfect meal.

Pretty cool pub. Outside looks like something out of a western movie among other building that are a bit more polished but it's actually unique. Inside is very nice, there's a nice spacious layout, a pool table, a stage area (reckon there's live music), seating areas, large bar area and of course this micro brewery has a selection of craft beers ( tried the wheat and the blonde.. pretty smooth)🍺 Bar tender waswas cool..great service. He was helpful in recommending spots for food etc. visited in the winter and gotta say I enjoyed the experience.

We were there on Trivia night A large crowd seemed to be having a lot of fun. The Blanche Lamontagne IPA was very nice.

A charming pub with excellent beer, plus some specials. Staff was kind and helpful. There were some board games and a pool table for entertainment, plus a setup for live music. Seating out front looking towards the water. And upstairs a bunch more seating. So shouldn’t be a problem finding a spot to sit even at a busy time.

Restaurant Le Surcouf is a charming seafood Canadian restaurant located at 168 Route 132 O, Perce, Quebec G0C 2L0. It offers a delightful selection of dishes such as fish and chips, onion rings, lobster rolls, and sandwiches. The food is served hot and fresh with reasonable prices compared to other nearby places. The restaurant has indoor seating as well as a front terrace and a small ice cream counter.
Great local eatery - very friendly staff, quick and efficient kitchen and the food was great.
Brent P — Google review
I recently dined at Surcouf at Percé. While the food was tasty, I found the portion sizes to be disappointingly small. The flavors were good, but I left the restaurant still feeling hungry. For the price, I expected more substantial servings. If you don’t mind smaller portions, the quality of the food might make it worth a visit, but be prepared for a light meal.
Ghida K — Google review
Firstly to summaries what I will say, don’t go it’s awful. The owner or someone who I believed was the owner was an absolute prick. There was a queue to get in so he gave people menus however when we were allowed in we were split up from 4 people to 2 twos but they were on opposite sides of the building and when we were able to order he said that we should of already decided what we were having in a horrible tone. Also when we did try to order we were denied some of our attempted order because the staff at the counter decided that what we ordered was too much for us.The atmosphere didn’t feel pleasant, this is because the owner was taking glasses the second you were done but it was to get you out. Also we me and my father were asked to move because the owner wanted to use our seats to turn it into a three seat but didn’t give us a choice to move. Also the time to wait for a seat was quite long.My sister who was eating on a different table as I said before was asked if she wanted to take her food in a box but she was currently eating at the time. The atmosphere made us think they wanted us out because we had paid and now only took up space. If you are planning to go here don’t,if I could stop myself from going would.
JakenotJake — Google review
Amazing tastes, very reasonable price for the quality you get, friendly staff. The seafood is fresh and well prepared. The portions are quite generous and everything is paired nicely to enhance the flavour. The only reson I am not giving 5 stars is because it was a bit hard to get someone to come back to see us after ordering, and there is only one bathroom per gender even if it is always super busy in the summer.
Valérie C — Google review
Lovely food and service, and a dog friendly patio! They brought out a bowl of water and mini ice cream for my guy.

I just have to say WOW. We are traveling with two big dogs and when we were unsure if they would let us have dogs we were greeted by one of the lovely men who was serving saying they were. He not only brought us English menus but brought a big bowl of dog water. Ordering was easy beer was good and the lobster and fish and chips were great! The dogs loved the dog ice cream cones. The service and how welcomed we felt was honestly refreshing and just spectacular.
Tory D — Google review
Went here several times. Their ordering and serving system works really well. The staff is very helpful ,well organized and even went to the trouble of bringing a bowl of water for my dog. The fish soup is really tasty, reminded me of fish soup in Costa Rica. And the lobster rolls are perfect, big chunks of lobster, just enough lettuce and the traditional toasted bun. Be sure to ask for extra mayo on the side.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this restaurant as we were walking the city, we're glad we did! We ordered the fish and chips, as well as onion rings. Both were served piping hot, fresh, and were very tasty. Not to mention, the prices were excellent, better than other places nearby. They're located right across from the boardwalk, so there's lots of foot traffic. They have an indoor area, a seating area in the front (terrasse) as well as a small ice cream counter off to the left.

Biard is a popular restaurant known for its delicious lobsters, making it a must-visit spot for those camping in the area. Despite being busy, the staff manages to handle the crowd well. The food, presentation, and desserts are delightful. While the portion sizes may be smaller in comparison to the price, overall it offers a great experience for first-time visitors. It's advisable to make reservations as it gets quite busy by 6 pm.
This restaurant was known for its lobsters We went in a group so the waitress and waiters were bit confused. But they did quite handled well The food , presentation , amd the desert were pleasant and it’s surely must try for ppl who visit this location for camping etc Also salade is Included and must pay for the alcohol content etc. Overall it’s a great experience for first timers

Soup and fish were great, tasty, well cooked but dessert was frozen. We had the "Table d'hôte", they never come to us about the coffee/the, same for the kid menu, she never got a dessert. Service could be improved.
Gaëtan T — Google review
Very plain, boring food. I had salmon and cod with rice and "vegetables". The fish had a weird taste, the vegetables were mushy and there were basically none on the plate. At $70 for two entrees, it wasn't cheap either. There's plenty of good food in Percé to waste time or money here.
Jacob B — Google review
Great view, seafood was ok although the rice and the vegetables were definitely not fresh but frozen as they had no taste... service super slow, we almost gave up and left... however the price was reasonable and parking was free
AnaB — Google review
Menu was misleading. Did not have a lot that was on their menu. My boyfriend who is vegan tried to order the vegan “bolognese” pasta and was told it did not exist and then further told by the waitress he could just have the fish pasta and a fish dish because that’s all they had. Staff was not wearing masks properly, host was touching all the utensils directly. Food was very bland and seemed like it was frozen food. Would not go back.
Vanessa B — Google review
We initially wanted to go to La Maison du Pêcheur but it was fully booked before 5pm. We decided to have a look at Restaurant Biard nearby. It turned out to be a good choice specially if you're looking for excellent seafood. I ordered the mix of fish and shellfish including half of lobster. It was delicious. Also, the view of Ocean was breathtaking. The price was decent and staffs were helpful. Highly recommended!

Beautiful view on the rock! Enjoyed the sunrise. Room was clean and staff was friendly. The only downside is that you can hear some noise from the other rooms. No AC but weather was cool

Nice view, friendly front desk and not far from our campsite which is a perfect escape from kids. But be aware that the room doesn’t have AC, they won’t change bedsheet if you stay for 2 nights. For $300+ motel we are kinda expecting a little more. Their restaurant is nice though.
Claire G — Google review
We were so excited to stay at this hotel after passing by during a previous visit to Percé. Unfortunately, we didn't feel that it provided good value. The grounds are beautiful, and the view of the rock is great. But the rooms definitely need an update ... Felt very dated and unremarkable for what they're charging. Service also felt very sparse: we were told during check-in that there would be no housekeeping during our 4-night stay, which I've never encountered at any hotel. In all, it's a well located property with nice grounds, but we felt as though it was resting on its laurels.
Steph U — Google review
I chose Normandy on the recommendation of a friend and booked this hotel three months in advance. Frankly speaking, it was worth it and left me with great memories of this family trip. I only stayed for two days, it should have been longer

We chose the Normandie for five nights in June in a 3rd floor view room. Good choice! We enjoyed our time. Bistro Les Sacs Vin is a unique combination of bar, bistro, and campground located at the north end of Perce town center. The place offers huge portions of home-cooked seafood dishes with a friendly and folksy service by a staff led by French expat Francois. Visitors are drawn to their affordable and delicious lobster, along with other local specialties like scallops, smoked salmon over fettuccine, and maple syrup pie for dessert.
We had planned to go to another restaurant and found this one. Waitress was attentive and friendly, tolerated our elementary French. The food was delicious, scallops, cod cakes perfect. Salad fresh.
Margery L — Google review
For the dishes, I would definitely give 5 stars, the dishes are unexpectedly good in such small local place like this one. The only concern is, we better learn good French before going. The staffs are very friendly and encourage us to use Google translate instead, but I feel like to speak a bit more French will do respect to their service.
Pat C — Google review
Great local haunt. Fish was freshly caught ( by the owner’s brother apparently) and the lobster taken from the tank! An excellent though fairly limited menu, fabulous portion sizes and very friendly and efficient service. Not fancy in appearance but don’t judge a book by its cover.
Annabel U — Google review
Waitress was great, place looked really nice in the inside, the outside needs some TLC. We had the lobster. It was a fair price and it was presented nicely. We thought it might have been overcooked and that’s the reason I took a star off. Overall a great experience.
Glen P — Google review
First and foremost, I want to start this review by recognizing how great our server was. We didn't catch his name, but without his great service, this place surely would be 2 stars from us. We came as a group of 5, with only one of us speaking French. He was very patient with us and even allowed us to speak to him in English, rather than having our one French speaker say everything. He let us know his English wasn't the best, but he understood a bit. He was fantastic, kind, and patient. I won't speak to what everybody else ordered, other than to say it mostly fell in the same range of rating. The seafood linguini was pretty good, at first. The seafood tasted fresh, and had a good bit of flavour. However, the amount of pasta and sauce to seafood felt off, and often each bite tasted bland, as the seafood flavour wasn't really imparted into the sauce itself. The serving size was good for the price, but again, mostly bland pasta and sauce, so by the time I was done, I was not enjoying the meal anymore. On top of this, the staff and (probably) local patrons smoke so close to the entrance that the restaurant smelled of stale cigarettes. It was not pleasant whatsoever. On top of this, the lighting was very dim, but not in any nice way. Felt very dingy. This place seems like a good place to go after a day at work to grab some beers and fries with some buddies, but perhaps not the best destination for dining.
Sebastian M — Google review
Located outside of town crowd, very nice and extremely kind staff, portions are very big, simple and delicious, for both adults and kids, kids portions were adjusted to our needs, highly recommended!!!

Wow what an experience! Michel and his co-workers made our visit to Percé unforgettable. We were a group of 22 and it was not that easy to find a place for us to eat all together. Michel helped us with the pick-up first night and invited us over for the 2nd night. Food was amazing (especially - lobster and fetuccini with shrimps), atmosphere is very friendly, hospitality and sense of respect are beyond the standards! I would put 10 stars if I could. Highly recommended place for a supper in Percé! Call and pre-reserve or just show up

Going to get straight to the point. We came to Table a Roland after a bad experience elsewhere. Walked in, seated within 3 minutes. Already off to a better start than the other place. The waitress came and took our order almost immediately, ready to answer any questions we had. We got the lobster among other things. Food came out promptly and it was good, no complaints. We weren't wowed by anything but definitely a positive experience. If you're in Perce, worth checking out!

We arrived around 9pm at night for a light meal , and it wasn't too busy. We had 3 people and decided to order a burger, lobster and some calamari. Our waiter was a nice young man who spoke decent English and was very attentive. The food was decent, nothing amazing and the service was good. The only problem I would have with this joint was the price, but even then it wasn't too bad. Definitely recommend.
Daniel L — Google review
Service was not great, to the point that I did something I haven't done in 20 years, I left $0 tip. Server was not apologetic after forgetting things. Took quite a while to have our order taken (was not busy). After asking for the bill our server proceeded to clean other tables, and basically forgetting about us all together, until I had to get up and follow her around the restaurant to ask again. Got it 30 seconds after that so it clearly doesn't take long to print the bill. The food was pretty good, just above average. The burgers were not freshly made but frozen. A bit overpriced for the food quality. If I could have, I would have given the cook the tip.
Jkd — Google review
We had the table d'hôte (salmon / shrimp) and it was delicious!!!! Yes you do wait a bit, but let's remember most businesses across the province (and dare say even country) are understaffed, so one needs to be comprehensive. Overall, price/quality was perfect. I would most definitely recommend it and come back!

La Morutière is a charming restaurant that evokes the classic Cape Cod dining experience, focusing on a select few dishes executed to perfection. The seafood, particularly the fish and lobster, is prepared flawlessly with simple yet impeccable presentation. The staff are known for their warmth and hospitality. Situated with an excellent view of Roche Perce, this establishment offers delicious food complemented by attentive service.
Tried the micro brewery, but being off season, they did not have food on offer, but recommended this place, since they serve their products. Small tidy place, with a beautiful deck overlooking the water and the rock at Perce. The server was a delight. We had the red beer from the brewery and it was very tasty. We had the cod cakes and shrimp brochette. The seafood was very fresh and tasty. The sides were also delicious. I saw reviews about frozen veg…. This was fresh and I assume roasted. Perfectly cooked and obviously fresh. I saw other dishes coming out and they looked just as good. 2 ladies with no English came in and were offered English menus and treated very well. I highly recommend this place. The view was so nice we had another beer, to just hang out.

We were in the area and stopped in for an early dinner. Luckily we did not need a reservation, and we were served promptly. We ordered the Fisherman's Plater, and spent the short wait time looking out at the amazing view. Everything was delicious, tasting fresh. We came for breakfast at 9:30, we were sat in the sun on the balcony. Our coffees took 1h to arrive, and our food, 1.5h. By the time we got our food, we asked for some glasses of water (4 for the table) since she hadn't brought any out in over 1.5h, and the waitress seemed visibly annoyed. Another party that was with us asked what types of cookies did they have, and was told 'we don't have those today' yet at the cash there were 3 full jars of cookies. Would not return. The food was nothing special, over priced, and service unwelcoming.

Great find. A must stop when you are in Barachois. Excellent food and service.

Delicious waffle breakfasts served by friendly and courteous staff. There is also an art gallery on the premises along with a boutique featuring gift items made by local artisans. The opening hours are short and you can expect a lineup to get a table. Outdoor dining is available when weather permits.
Walter S — Google review
My husband and I sat on the porch at 2 tables pushed together to make a table for four people, so we scooted over a table so another couple could sit. The waitress said we couldn't do that and had to sit in the dingy, dark part of the porch at a table for 2! Insulting! Then the waitress sat her friends at the table for 4 where we had been! So rude! There is also no traditional breakfast on the menu, only waffles. Ugh!
Sarah K — Google review
We had a fabulous lunch starting with the cream of tomato soup that was one of the best we've had. This was followed by their wonderful salmon & feta salad. Service was great too.

While cycling towards Percé and ravenous, I was told by General Store folks in Barachois to go check out Restaurant Couleurs. It’s hard to miss because of... couleurs. A great place to eat and pick up some souvenirs or useful items such as fragrant soap. Food was yummy and my coffee cup frequently refilled. Servers were pleasant and efficient. There is an art gallery upstairs. I think I shall return and pick up a leather bag created by a local artist.

Resto du Village is a small, casual restaurant located on the main street in the village. It offers outdoor dining and specializes in fast food dishes, with a focus on delicious lobster sandwiches. The lobster roll is reasonably priced and comes with fresh lettuce and tomato, although some customers wished for more sauce. Despite its size, it's considered to be one of the better lobster rolls along the East Coast.
Nice place, good comfort food with great service and very reasonable prices considering this is a high tourist spot. Would recommend it.

Really good food. I had a lobster roll (guédille au homard) and fries with gravy. Service was great amd got my order real quick. I recommend the stop while at the Unesco Geopark in Percé. Not easy to find a parking spot though.

Great vegetarian pizza we had. Lots of cheese. Good variety of veggies. Reasonable prices for this tourist town - if you are traveling on a budget

Located at the heart of Perce town, this is a great restaurant offering delicious seafood options. We tried their crab rolls, and it was too delicious. The restaurant has ample seating indoor and outdoor. The ambience is good and service is amazingly great as well as fast. It gets too crowded during the lunch hours indicating the popularity of this restaurant. Highly recommended 👌

Ordered the popcorn chicken poutine, then they gave me a poutine with no cheese curds goddamn, poutine is legit 3 ingredients (4 with the popcorn chicken).

Tucked away from the main street- I stopped in for a poutine and was quite pleased. It was quite busy so be prepared to wait a little

Hôtel Motel Manoir de Percé is a laid-back, family-run motel with straightforward rooms offering free Wi-Fi and a restaurant. The staff is friendly and the food at the restaurant is highly praised, especially the seafood platter and desserts. The motel offers well-maintained rooms with spacious washrooms, although there have been some issues with maintenance. Despite this, it's considered a decent place to stay in the area with reasonable prices and helpful staff.
I had a wonderful stay. I was there for just one night. Everything was clean, there was no noise, and the staff was friendly. I couldn’t expect more from a motel/hotel.

Overall happy with this hotel/motel! It was clean and service was good. It is central to everything - approximately a 5 minute walk. The only thing I was upset with was the extra charge I chose for “ocean view”. We were put in the corner of the 1st floor with a “view” of the water (aka mostly the parking lot and a tiny glimpse of the water). You’re right across the street from a park where you can sit by the water all day, so if I were to go back I wouldn’t pay extra for an “ocean view”.
Amanda K — Google review
A very nice motel. +++: warm and welcoming staff at check-in +++: comfortable beds +++: access to coffee shops/ breakfast ( right next door) - restaurant is closed for those who want to or have to stay in ++++ they have a water bowl for pets and that to me says a lot about the people that run this place. A simple, clean place with courteous staff. I’d visit again.
Suman M — Google review
They have this beautiful view right opposite the building. We'll maintained rooms with good sized washrooms. Had a great stay until there was a clog in the commode and the person who came to unclog used the towels inside the washroom to clean up the floor, that kinda made me uncomfortable. Other than that everything else is great.
Bhavya E — Google review
Great service. The room was clean and had hardwood floors. Lack of power plugs for charging use and a night table (there was only one on one side of the bed), the sound isolation was not very good, had to bear the pounding from an energetic family of 4 or more upstairs for hours. The breakfast (not included) was great.

You can see Percé Rock or Bonaventure Island directly from the window if you open the curtains or sit on the chair in front of the door. The receptionist was friendly and responded promptly whenever we asked for help.

Good service. The staff are very friendly. The food is really good. This seafood platter is $130. It also comes with rice under the crab. For desserts, The chocolate molten and the sorbet ice cream are very yummy. The kids meal is very good price, it comes with juice and ice cream/fruits salad. We will visit this restaurant again for sure!!

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Perce, Cantine du Quai is a delightful eatery that promises an enjoyable dining experience. Visitors rave about the tender and fresh cod croquettes, while the poutine has garnered mixed reviews—some find it just okay, but others appreciate its charm. The chicken fillets and fried scallops are standout dishes that many have found delicious.
(Translated by Google) Great canteen in the center of Percé, everything we tasted was excellent! The cod croquettes were tender and fresh. Very good poutine. Efficient service! It's a good spot to know, and the prices are affordable! 👌💯 (Original) Super cantine dans le centre de Percé , tout ce qu'on a goûté était excellent! (Translated by Google) Absolutely atrocious, almost inedible. I would be embarrassed to sell poutines like that, sauce tasteless, cheese not fresh, frozen fries not cooked enough. And on top of that, 40 minutes of waiting because they ran out of sauce, don't you realize that your sauce is getting low before it's empty? We asked for a refund after 30 minutes of waiting and the answer was no, it's coming soon. Do not go to this place unless you want to get ripped off.

Some of the finest homemade ice cream in the region. A must stop if you're in Perce and like ice cream. They've plenty of flavors and also offer their own chocolate, cookies and fruit spreads. We tried their coconut, honey, passionfruit and coffee flavors with waffle cones and all were amazing. The lady at the counter was also very friendly and gave us several free samples to help us decide what to get.
Taha Z — Google review
The first day we came here and asked for 8 flavours. Oh boy they are such delicacies! We had chocolate with pecans, walnuts, passion fruit, strawberries and more. Passion fruit might not be my favourite but it served a good purpose of balancing out between chocolate ones. They are so good that my parents suggested to come again right the second day for coned ice cream for everyone! This is a shop you should not miss!
Li F — Google review
Definitely the best ice cream I had, worth to return from Montreal just for that😋 The cookies are very delicious as well, bought for all my family!! All home made, best quality! You must try it)

You must stop there and taste all of the gelatos they have! Beautiful place and a wonderful team! A lot of people were there, but the wait was worth it.

Absolutely delicious! We had visited near the end of September and the shop had already closed for the season. Michel saw us entering the parking lot and warmly greeted us! He opened his shop and allowed us to purchase a remaining pint of ice cream. Many unique homemade fruit based flavours. We tried the banana and spices ice cream which was amazing. Would have loved to visit during the summer for the full experience. Michel was very kind and hospitable.

Location: On the edge of the village. You can park if you drive. The place: This is a to-go spot, but they do have some seating outside, which is great when it's nice out. They have swings! The goods: I tried the strawberry/basil sorbet along with the honey/ orange flower sorbet. Both were amazing - I'm glad I opted away from the usual chocolate and tried something different. So, so good. My mom tried the pistachio ice cream and the coconut sorbet and she really enjoyed both. Service: OK Price point: I'd say they're on par with most places. If you're in the area, definitely take a little walk over to check these guys out. You can't go wrong with locally made ice cream!

Pub Aire Salin is a delightful gem that captures the essence of Gaspésie, offering a relaxed and festive atmosphere perfect for celebrating life every day. With friendly faces at the bar and an inviting community vibe, it’s easy to make lasting friendships here. The pub boasts an impressive selection of beers, including unique options from Brett and Sauvage, all set against a backdrop that beautifully blends vintage charm with modern touches.
Great service, food and beer. They have delicious small food items from all over Gaspésie. Very generous portions for the price. Highly recommend!!!

Great local pub with lots of local beer choices, the staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly and most importantly the food was great. If you're in Percé and want to try some of the harder to find local beers I highly recommend stopping in, have a chat with the bartender and do yourself a favor and get a baguette while you enjoy your drink!

November 5th we arrived to discover majority of places in Perce are closed for the season. However Pub Aire Salin was open. We were welcomed by the locals and had a great experience as we chatted with some wonderful people. Enjoyed the conversation beers snacks and the vibe ( tunes ). We will recommend Pub Aire Salin to anyone going to Perce. Hope the next time we attend they have some merch ( swag ) for sale. Cheers to those in attendance last Tuesday. Merci Beaucoup!
