This is my favorite restaurant on the island. It is a cozy place overlooking a small bay. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Amazing appetizers and entrees, but the real delight is the desserts. They have amazing specials but the chocolate mousse and meringue cake are worth the trip. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays and August through October.

This place is a true hidden jewel in Saint Martin. The food is absolutely delicious — each bite feels like being transported straight to France. The service is outstanding; the entire team is kind, attentive, and makes you feel completely at home. The outdoor terrace overlooking the lake adds a romantic touch and creates the perfect atmosphere for a memorable evening. 200% recommended!

What a wonderful dinner. We met a sweet couple who have been coming to St Martin for 40 years and said that every trip they go eat at Le Tropicana two or three times during their visit. The food was fantastic and the service was great. There is a lovely view of the water. They have AC that blows from inside and it looks like they can close the doors if it’s too hot. The night we went the weather was quite nice and they had the doors open. They had bug spray available.

Legendary restaurant in St Maarten that serves some delectable seafood. The sole with lemon sauce was the best thing we had. The flank steak with blue cheese crust special wasn’t bad either but had a little too much blue cheese. The warm goat cheese salad was a nice starter that got the palate going. It has a hidden location in the marina but the outdoor dining is worth it. The service is very accomodating too. Don’t skip dessert either. Love this spot!

I have been coming here for 4 years, it’s been great since. The chef and host are very friendly. The food is so good there are a lot of flavors, and a lot of love to put dishes together here at Tropicana.

The owner was so fabulous and welcoming, the food was incredible/affordable for what I’d consider Michelin-quality French, and you can’t beat that waterfront view. But do use bug spray for the mosquitos! Desserts are a must-order here.

Fantastic French restaurant in a marina. The chef makes some outstanding dishes. Prices are very reasonable and the house wines were a great bargain. They were a bit short staffed but I will definitely return for more! Update. I returned in November 2023. We had lunch on Wednesday and it was fantastic! The salad with duck meat and potatoes is a great lunch time meal. We also had a nice desert. I came back my last night on the island for dinner. Had the red snapper, and wow! Greatly dish with a nice cream sauce! Their house wines are very nice and reasonably priced. The entire staff of this restaurant was great. The chef is a very nice man, and I will definitely be back on my next trip to Saint Martin! Back again last night. November 2024. Our party of 5 were extremely happy with our meals! The Chef and his wife are wonderful people serving delicious French food!!!

Enoch's place is definitely worth the visit. I enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and customer service. We ordered the crabcakes, ribs, and the whole snapper. The food came out nice and hot which is a plus for me and the portion size was perfect. The taste was flavorful; however, I would have loved to taste more creole spice to the snapper fish. There was a side sauce that quenched my thirst for the spice. 😋. Overall, rating for the food 4/5 and the remaining services was 5/5. I would return!

For the past few years we make a point of going to Sky’s The Limit and seeing Marsha. The food is always so good, flavourful, and made with love. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Very welcoming. There is plenty of space to sit. Food and drinks and service are fabulous. My hubby and I had the rib plate, and it was divine. We also tried the Johnny cakes that were similar to an arepa. We had a Disarono sour and a drink called TiPunch. Which tasted like straight tequila.

The food was absolutely delicious! The plate will definitely fill you up and the prices are very reasonable. If you visit this place, dont forget to get some Johnny Cakes and the Rum punch! Lastly, the staff were friendly and amazing!

Good for what it is! Right off the street, you've got the smoke from the grills drifting around the block, super casual vibe to it all. Food is pretty respectable; you get a good filling plate with a main and a bunch of sides, and the price point is super reasonable. It might not necessarily blow you away - but it's good. Nice balance to some of the fancier places in Grand Case.

While having tried only the seafood, this roadside Grand-Case “lolo” gets the main components right — but sometimes a bit over-the-top. The stuffed appetizers (e.g. crab back, Christophine aubergine), buried under a mound of bread crumbs — leaving one craving the very flavors and textures it was meant to enhance. Garlic shrimp, smothered in so much butter and garlic to the point of overwhelming the pallet of an enthusiast. Johnny cakes, however, classically prepared fry bread — both subtly sweet and savory. Mahi mahi well-grilled with tasty Creole sauce served atop. If the only option, not a bad option. But one may be better suited trying another of many lolos which abound, not only on the block, but across the island as a whole.

Our sailing crew had an awesome meal with great service! Marsha was our server and she took great care of us! I highly recommend this restaurant if you'd like to experience an authentic St. Martin lolo in Grand Case.

We took a cab tour of the island and asked our driver to take us for local cuisine. The food was so good! Likely the best Mac and cheese I've ever had.

While visiting the island, we decided to check out this restaurant and it was the best decision ever! The food was Soooooo GOOD that we decided to eat here multiple times. The food was flavorful and very affordable. The service was top notch. We felt so welcomed and the staff was genuine. We had the jerk chicken, ribs, pan seared fish, rice and peas, plantains and lemonade.

If you’re wanting some authentic local food, with exceptional service and a cultural setting, this is the place to go! From the moment I arrived the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful with the menu, and as a solo diner never once felt like a pain. I opted for the mixed seafood platter which was served in good time, a great portion size and was super tasty. The homemade hot sauce was an absolute treat and it was a struggle not to steal a bottle when I left! Incredible value for brilliant food in a real local setting - one of the best dining spots in the area.

This is the first restaurant we've ate off after we got off the plane. We were all starving and wanted something easy and tasty. Rosemary's definitely worked for us. It was our first sampling of the local chicken, and ribs that we're so common in the area. Great food!!

We ate here around 5pm on a Thursday evening. Service was attentive and pleasant. Price was affordable compared to other places. We ordered the curry goat and the jerk combo which comes with chicken and ribs. We also had the saltfish accras which were good. Food came fast and we were given wet wipes at the end to clean our hands. Overall I would recommend.

Rosemary's is excellent! The oxtails are cooked to perfection! As Ms. Rosemary said herself, "I put God first and I cook with love. The seasonings and everything else fall into place!" She and her staff made my birthday very special! She sang happy birthday and they played the Stevie Wonder happy birthday song. May her business continue to be blessed!

Beautiful local spot on french side of St Maarten. All the stay were friendly and attentive. This was recommended to us as we awaited the ferry to Anguilla. I had the fried snapper with rice and peas and salad, oxtail gravy on the rice. I was pleased. However the alcoholic drink were a lil bland.

My wife and I first visited this wonderful little bistro 12 years ago and it was fantastic, since then it has changed hands a couple of times and I’m glad to say it is back to its former excellence. We sat outside with a beautiful breeze and in that quiet alley it had a feel of old Saint Martin food was delicious and service excellent. We booked this restaurant to have lunch as soon as we landed in St. Martin. The food was delicious, including the desserts. I had my favorite meal here and we ate at several good restaurants. Also the staff is super nice and accommodating. We did not have a reservation and went at the busiest lunch time, and we were advised that the service would be a little slower, but they found us a cozy table inside, and we had an awesome meal. We liked it so much we came back for a final lunch before heading back from vacation!

Fabulous lunch here. New owners, Davide and Artur, are doing an excellent job in their new venture. My husband had the Boeuf Bourguignon, delicious! I had the Entrecôte and it cooked perfectly. The dessert, Raspberry Mille Feuille, was yummy. Highly recommended.

Charming and gourmet experience Gluten free was no problem at all. Wine selections are fantastic. Our first time here, we ordered the duck. One year later, we ordered the duck! We definitely enjoyed other dishes, but the duck was so memorably delicious, I couldn't pass it up. Arthur, one of the owners, is a phenomenal host who treats his visitors like royalty. Definitely worth coming to Le Bistro Nu.

We were the first to arrive for dinner at about 630. We were met by name (I had sent them a message on Whatsapp) and seated right away. The service was outstanding! The ambiance was perfect and there is indoor and outdoor seating. The only reason I didn't give a 5 for food was because the Angus rib eye was a thin cut steak, not resembling the pictures online and the potatoes were basically breakfast potatoes.

Best food in town. Very tasty and fresh. We ate there the whole week we visited St. Martin and we were never disappointed. The plates are full and big. All the locals eat there as well.

This place is worth your money, every last dollar or euro. The lucky thing is, the food is priced good so it won’t even require all your money. I had an order of the Curry Goat and I was in every impressed and satisfied. The meat was so sender and flavoured and it was served with rice & peas, a side salad, avocado, plantain and potato salad. Absolutely tasty!! It can’t get any more local than this. The workers here are absolutely mindful and kind, welcomes you with a bright smile and serves you with that smile. The environment is also relaxing with a view of the waterfront. I truly recommend this local experience, and I can assure you that you will leave with a belly full and a soul full experience!❤️

Chez Coco has REALLY great food! I know you might be thinking that you can't trust a person who put fries with oxtail, but that's how good the food is - it doesn't matter what you do or what you order 🔥! It may take a little time to get your order, but that's because they make it to order for you. Whatever you do, make sure you get the grilled fish. You must come try this spot if you're looking for some tasty food 🇸🇽

Perfect spot for lunch. The food was fantastic and the portions were generous. Its where we noticed the locals were sitting to eat which is a good indicator of the quality. Beware of the Scorpion Sauce, it's no joke even if you are accustomed to spicy food!

Peerless Caribbean food under the night time stars and breezes, reasonable prices, great service, and lots of locals to enjoy conversations with: this the place to come to experience true Lolo experience. We had goat curry and boiled Fish. Amazing. Drinks were great and cheap too. We’re going to return.

What an amazing place to grab food and people watch. It’s my first time in SXM and was craving some oxtail. The oxtail was stewed perfect packed full of flavor and the texture is out of this world. The rice and salad complemented the robust flavor profile of the oxtail. In addition, the rice and potato salad also were delicious on its own. I will definitely be back! A+ to the chef, and the friendly service!

Absolut recommendation. The owner told, the restaurant is supposed to serve the best Tuna Tatar on the Island - well, I haven't tried all of the others - but it might as well be true. EXCELLENT Flank Steak was on point as well. Besides he serves delicious baguette - with butter and or olive oil - already worth it. Clear recommendation!

During our stay we stopped at La Belle and had a wonderful meal. The risotto was super and seafood was delicious. The service was outstanding. We came on an off day and during the early afternoon. Still, everything was perfect. Note that they have very nice photos on the walls.

Very nice food, good atmosphere, view of the marina. Sad that the French government still allows smoking on outdoor parts of restaurants, our neighbours were chainsmoking cigars while we were eating... not the fault of the restaurant but still ruins your taste and appetite.

Francois served us, and he made an already great experience excellent. When we sat down, he presented the menu of daily specials, explaining each item and offering recommendations. We had the escargot (first time having it, and it was lovely), lobster and leek risotto, and for dessert we had the chef's newest creation. The whole experience was truly luxury dining. I highly recommend La Belle Epoque to anyone who wants to eat like royalty.

We just got off the ferry from Anguilla and had some spare time before our flight so decided to have lunch near the marina. We had such a delicious meal. The food was more than excellent and the portions were very generous. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and helpful. We will definitely return next time we are on the island. Highly recommend.

Such a nice experience with belly dancing show and great Moroccan food. I love the lamb with raisin and almond served with rice. They are very kids friendly but I feel like my son wasn’t too keen on the marinate, so I think he could only eat some chicken & cous cous. We will definitely be back.

Food was amazing (tajines are supplemented with couscous and veggie broth to share). Couscous comes in big portion. Taste was really good. Interior was amazing as well, felt like we were entering Morocco again. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Le Marocain in Marigot is a true gem. From the moment we stepped in, we felt transported to a beautiful Moroccan riad. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, the service gracious, and the food absolutely delicious. We loved the fresh hummus, flavorful meze plate, and the tender lamb tagine—perfectly spiced and comforting. The mint tea was the ideal finish. An unforgettable meal and experience. Highly recommend!

Literally the best food I've had in at least a decade! We ate the salad sampler, the honey almond chicken tagine with rice, and the lamb raisin onion tagine with couscous. We tried the drink with rum mint and lemon (tourag? or something close to that). Everything was delicious. If we hadn't been so tired we would've tried dessert out of principle even though we aren't big dessert people. The meal itself had a caramelized sweetness to it which was nicely balanced by the chili paste served on the side that had a good heat level to it. The service was so friendly and informative. Really lovely people to spend an evening with. Thank you for the hospitality and the leftovers, we are looking forward to them 😋

Very yummy! We rented beach chairs here and spent the day by the water and got drinks as well. We ate lunch up here and it was very good. The staff were nice for the most part. We got the guava berry drink and it was so gross. Tasted like hand sanitizer. The food though was amazing. The poke ball I strongly recommend. I got shrimp in mine and it was very fresh and bright. The chicken sate and mahi burger was also good. The prices were high but expected. Great day at the beach 🏝️

One of my favorite hotels and restaurants on the island! The staff is exceptional, and the lounge décor is absolutely beautiful. Both the lunch and dinner menus offer great selections, and the bar staff is wonderful, the drinks are as pretty as they are flavorful. I look forward to dining here again soon!

Had an incredible dinner here. This was our favorite restaurant of the trip. Every dish we ordered was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the grouper. The drinks were equally as good. We enjoyed the atmosphere and had excellent service.

Went here for lunch on a Monday afternoon. The restaurant has a great view of the beach and boardwalk. It has a very calm and welcoming ambiance with music that is not too loud. The waitstaff is incredibly friendly and hospitable. My date had the Ocean Lounge Salad which contained various proteins with a generous portion! She said it was tasty! I chose the Tuna Sandwich, one of my favorites - I highly recommend! For dessert my date chose the Chocolate Lava Cake. It had great flavor and reasonable portion to satisfy sweet tooth needs. Definitely returning !

The food was incredible. I had the scallops with rigatoni. Great seafood-to-pasta ratio. Simple yet so flavorful. My husband had the rack of lamb and sweet potato soup. We are from the US but would love to come back some day.

La Villa…what an experience! Our server JC kept everyone laughing with his well timed jokes. He made us feel like old friends who came over for dinner. We also had the absolute pleasure of meeting the owner Axel who shared his name with my nephew and his brother Christophe who made us feel like family. We immediately fell into easy conversation with both and Christophe even did a few magic tricks for our little Aksel. On to the food, dinner opened with a delicious, velvety, chilled cauliflower and potato soup. For appetizers we had the tuna tataki, the goat cheese egg roll and a Cesar salad (which was the BEST Cesar I’ve ever had) and the mushroom ravioli. For our mains we did the Branzino, Lobster and triggerfish special, duck breast, coconut crusted mahi mahi and angus filet. The gratin was creamy and garlicky and delicious! Everything we tasted was better than the last. Desserts were profiteroles with outrageous homemade hot dark chocolate sauce, pistachio crème brûlée and a mixed berry pavlova. We all tasted everyone’s desserts and were stuffed full after. Ended the night with delicious house shots. So glad we waited for our last night to have this dinner. From start to finish, hands down the BEST meal we had in Saint Martin. Wonderful owners, attentive and personable servers, great boozy drinks and warm inviting atmosphere! Will definitely be back here for another taste of La Villa!!!!

Finally found a restaurant worth 5 stars across the board in Grand Case! Food was exceptional and not as pricey as other similar restaurants on the same strip. Service was truly superb. Everyone was attentive, pleasant and made you feel welcomed, can't say the same for another restaurant just down the street. The atmosphere had a casual but nice vibe, not stuffy but not common either, just right. We ordered the foie gras, lobster bisque, tuna tataki and beef striploin. Every dish was delicious. For dessert we shared the café liegeois. You must dine here. We only wished we had visited sooner as we came on our last night in SXM.

Always one of our favorites. The food and service continue to be top notch, but the “vibe” has definitely changed. Florence and JC’s presence are definitely missed very much. They really brought life to the evening. The price fixe dinner is probably the best value in Grand Case. We will definitely be back next vacation, and hopefully get to know all the new staff a bit better.

If you enjoy French food eat here!! We made a reservation prior to our stay in St. Martin. It was the last night of our stay and best meal we had while here. The food was wonderful, we had escargot which was delicious. Our entrees were excellent as well, lamb and quail. Everything from beginning to end was perfection. The staff is wonderful and welcoming, very passionate about their food which I love. They made it a very memorable night for us. Thank you!

Dinner here ended the perfect week of sun and crystal clear blue beaches. In 5 days we visited 9 beaches and 12 restaurants- this by far was our favorite. The food, presentation and service were 10/10. Karine, Carlos. And the gentleman that chased us down when we we forgot my phone were lovely and made us feel at home. The new owner Chantel has done a splendid job continuing the success of a restaurant that has been in place for 45 years. We had walked passed this restaurant a few times while Venturing into Grand Case throughout the week and noted it was always packed- we now know why. Everything was so fresh and well done. Can’t wait to come back next year. 5 stars.

The Auberge Gourmande is one of the most wonderful Restaurants in Saint Martin. Top quality french cuisine and a very unique assortment of quality french wine. Also the service is heartfelt and very personal! Always a good choice!

Place was jammed as always which is usually a good sign; glad I made a reservation. Restaurant was clean and we were greeted warmly by the owner. The waitstaff and sommelier were very pleasant and knowledgeable. The drinks, wine, appetizers, and entrees were all delicious and well portioned. Price was very reasonable. I definitely recommend.

Service here was great. It was €40 for a beach chair each. The chairs were very comfortable, Music playing the beach was beautiful. The water was very calm where you can swim in it. They had music playing and was great vibes. The food was okay I got the pizza and sushi it was good but nothing great. Overall I would come back here the place is beautiful

WOW wow wow!!! Rainbow Cafe was hands-down one of the best restaurants we visited during our trip—and it was literally right up the street from our hotel, though we had no idea until the very end. We stumbled in one evening looking for a late-night dessert and ended up with blueberry cheesecake, a fruit tart, and passion fruit ice cream. Every bite was incredible. The fruit was fresh, the cheesecake had the perfect creamy texture, and the tart crust was buttery and crisp. The passion fruit ice cream was exactly as you’d expect—bright, tangy, and packed with flavor. My sister loves tart flavors, so it was perfect for her. The dessert was so good that we came back the next morning for breakfast—and once again, it did not disappoint. I had the NY scramble (pancakes, eggs, bacon, and avocado) with a grilled hazelnut latte. My sister had French toast, pancakes, eggs, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Everything was cooked perfectly, portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on. My only regret? We discovered Rainbow Cafe on our last day before heading to the airport. I can only imagine how amazing dinner would have been. Don’t make the same mistake we did—make Rainbow Cafe one of your first stops. You’ll get great food, friendly service, a warm atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

The vibe was fantastic—chilled music, relaxed energy, and stunning views right on Grand Case Beach. The service was top-notch from start to finish—friendly, attentive, and professional. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and well worth the price. We loved the beach setup too—beach beds were $35, very comfortable, and perfectly positioned. They even included a beach towel, which was a great touch! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a stylish yet laid-back beach day with great food, service, and comfort. We’ll definitely be back!

10 out of 10, would recommend. They have a LIVE DJ during the day. Yes yes, food is good. Poke bowl is delicious, so couldn't finish it but I tried my best. I am the friend who steals food and everything I grabbed was on point. View is beautiful, who doesn't want to look at a vast amount of water while consuming little bits of paradise.

Rainbow cafe offers perfect beachfront bliss 😊 Nestled right on the sand with an unobstructed view of the sparkling turquoise ocean, this spot is an absolute gem. From the moment you step onto their deck, the gentle sound of the waves and the refreshing sea breeze immediately put you at ease. They have shaded patio seating with ocean view, bar at the patio and for the shopaholics rooftop boutique. The ambiance here is simply unparalleled. Whether you're enjoying a morning coffee as the sun rises, a leisurely lunch with friends, or a sunset cocktail, the ocean view takes center stage. For lunch we ordered: Edamame, crazy vegan roll, side of basamati rice, greens (broccoli, spinach and beans). I wish they had more vegetarian/vegan options to offer. My other minor critique would be that during peak times, it can get quite busy, which is a testament to its popularity. However, even with the crowds, the atmosphere remains enjoyable. I would love to try their brunch next time. Overall beautiful place to relax and enjoy some delicious food.

Location and views are great, food was good, on par for other places. Service was also just okay, whereas other places showed excellent friendly service. Prices are inline however, we didn’t spend the 30€ for lounge chairs downstairs. Beautiful beach, calm water, gorgeous sand. We used our beach towels.

Best beach club in St. Maarten! Food was delicious. Beach is stunning & service is great. The beach beds are extremely comfortable. I did make sure to make a reservation because I was unsure if any beach beds would be available. We were sat right in the front row & I spent the whole day there!

Quaint and iconic. This is one of those restaurants you must visit when in St. Marten. Elegant dishes are served with amazing service. The table-side presentation of the dishes is truly special and you are treated as loyal patron even if it’s your first visit. 5 stars.

OMG! What a fabulous place. There were 7 of us at dinner. The food was super delicious. We had lobster bisque, a must to try in my opinion, foie gras, we tried both appetizers with it as an ingredient. For the main course we had sea scallops, buy veal tenderloin and veal file mignon. We enjoyed every dish. The service was very friendly as well.

One of our island favorites, Le Cottage Restaurant always proves us again why SXM is known as the Culinary Capital and leads by example. With one owner running the service, a second the wine pairings being a sommelier, and a third being the chef you simply cannot go wrong! The kitchen serves classic French Cuisine but with lots of twists and varieties creating unique dishes that are surprising at the same time. But best of all is that everything is simply cooked to perfection, tender, juicy and full of flavor. An exceptional dining experience time and again! 🍷😎❤️

In a town of so many fantastic restaurants, Le Cottage was our favorite. Everyone from the owners to staff were so kind and welcoming. The food and drink were beyond amazing. Cannot wait to return next year

This was hands down the best meal I had in St Martin. I started with an arugula salad with a sundried tomato dressing that was delicious. I then had the best tenderloin I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly paired with a sherry mushroom sauce that was insanely good. I also had a taste of the lamb chops which were cooked perfectly and delicious. The staff was great and the cocktails were also perfect. I would definitely recommend and go back again and again.

Hands down the best French restaurant in St. Martin. Service is impeccable, friendly, where you are treated like family. The owners are heavily involved but never make you feel uncomfortable. Ambiance is wonderful: cozy but not invasive; fun but not obnoxious. The food is spectacularly consistent with a good array to appeal to most palates. They have never let me down, and I cannot wait until my next visit. My recommendation: Try le Cottage for a great dinner experience.

Lobster bisque with puff pastry Cod fillet Rack of lambs Arugula salad - wish we had the stomach for dessert but we would have gotten the soufflé!

Spiga was really good. The service and atmosphere is perfect for a nice dinner. I would only say...if you are use to your food deeply seasoned, you may be slightly disappointed. The Veal was tinder and breaded, but just not deeply seasoned(strictly personal preference)

So nice we ate here twice…in one week! Spectacular Italian food and wonderful service - the perfect break from all the buttery French food in the area. Will definitely be back again and again, especially for that cheesecake!

Quaint, authentic Italian spot off the normal congested area of Grand Case. Complementary valet parking. Super kind and polite staff, working as a smooth running team. High ceilings, airy, light music in background with seating far enough apart where you don't hear your neighbor's conversation. All pasta in made in house and is delicious. Menu is broad and offers many nontraditional Italian dishes. Our Cesar Salad (uniquely presented), Carbanara and Fettuccine Bolognese were simply impeccable. Spiga is the type of place you return to later the same week.

We went to Spiga at the beginning of our week long trip to St Martin and ended up back again 2 nights later. The service was great and the restaurant was very quaint and cozy. The food was amazing. We had the fettuccine Alfredo, which is the best I’ve ever tasted. The pasta is fresh everyday and it shows in the flavor. We also had the chicken Milanese, paccheri al tre pomodori (the most amazing tomato flavor) as well as the bolognese. We also had the tiramisu for desserts both nights and it was delicious. I would come back here every week if I could. Thank you Mateo for taking great care of us!

We come here on the first day of our trip to St Martin for the past three years from NYC. It is really amazing Italian food. The food if in NYC would be a Michelin star. Really good pumpkin ravioli and veal! Every course amazing and we ordered a ton. Definitely check it out! So so good!

Overall, this was our favorite meal on the island. The servers were phenomenal, wine was fabulous, our meal was delicious! They made my kiddo special dishes that she would eat. Our first night in the island so didn't know you couldn't leave tip with a credit card. My husband went back the next day to leave a cash tip. Was worth it!

Spiga is one of the most wonderful, incredible restaurants we’ve ever been to - not even exaggerating one bit (and we've eaten at Michelin star) The wait staff were so warm, friendly and entertaining as well; they totally made our experience a 10 out of a 10. Actually, the food was so addictive we ate there twice in 3 nights (and really wished it would have been all 3)! I have dreams of the seafood risotto, lamb ragu, that pollo with the provolone oozing out and maple cheesecake still. I wonder if you could ship some Texas? ❤️❤️❤️ No nevermind, I need to go workout now!! Would love to come back one day.

It was a nice restaurant with a good view of the marina. The food portion was really big, I had to get a takeaway container. I didn't really enjoy most of the appetizer. We had the escargot, conch fritters, calamari, and coconut shrimps. The conch and calamari were bland, not much flavor. I had the Mahi and shrimp meal, which was really good. The service was ok, nothing special. I will go back in the future.

Nice restaurant with views of the marina where we picked up the catamaran for our tour of the day . The server was nice and welcoming . The whole snapper was delicious along with the coconut shrimp pretty good size . The hot sauce bottle made it more tasting and so good.

The seafood sampler was not only delicious but also came at an affordable price with generous portions – a true culinary gem. Claudette, our server, made the evening even more delightful with her warm and friendly service. Shoutout to the adorable marina dogs adding a charming touch! 🐾 The chill and relaxed atmosphere, coupled with a perfect timing that avoided large crowds, made our visit memorable. Chesterfields is located on the Dutch side of St Maarten, in a strip mall that also includes Amsterdam Cheese store, and is on the beach. We enjoyed a meal here while waiting for our snorkeling and sailing excursion, as Chesterfields is just outside where our boat launched. The seafood platter, filled with a variety of fried seafood including conch fritters was very good. The fish and chips offered fresh fish with a lovely batter. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, but we didn’t have much time to enjoy our food as it took a quite awhile to get to us and we had to be at the boat check in at a specific time. You can tell that this a place the locals enjoy as well, which speaks for itself. It is a little isolated from the pier and main shopping areas, and you will need to walk about 10-15 minutes from the pier to get there. You may also want to make sure you go to the bathroom before coming to this area, as the bathrooms are….a little primitive….

Amazing food and great views/atmosphere. We ordered catch if the day (grilled grouper) and grilled shrimp & scallops. Both dishes were fresh, light and tasty, exactly what we wanted. Their homemade apple pie was amazing too!😋

Nice restaurant and location by the dock. Generous portions and overall good food. Caesar salad could have been tastier. A couple of guests had their little yappy dogs eating off their table on the terrasse. Annoying. Otherwise good experience. I enjoyed lobster bisque and fettucine alfredo with mushrooms, shrimps and veggies. Other meals at the table included calamari and mahi mahi (catch of the day). A rating between 4 and 4.5 seems accurate.

We did the obstacle course with the zip line. It was really fun and not difficult at all. The instructor was really helpful and explained everything. The trees provided a lot of shade but it was still hot. There is a place where you can eat and drink before or after your slot opens up.

Very welcoming and pleasant staff. We did the hike, which was very difficult but worth it. The area is very beautiful and well maintained. It’s recommended to book in advance during the high season.

What a great experience. Just few minutes from Grand Case this hidden treasure will leave you breathless. Fun for kids and adults. We only did the pool all day, but it was enough if you wanna just relax. And yes, that screaming child on 7/11/25 was mine, he had wayyyy too much fun...definitely a must see if you come to the island.

Nice change of pace after all the beach days! The grounds are Beautiful, the pool is refreshing, and drinks are yummy and the service was great! Our server Roger was a gem! A bit pricey, but it was worth it!

This is absolutely a must visit location. Beautiful area, so many choices right within the location. Excellent food and choices, wonderful stunning ambiance, the service was the best, super friendly and helpful. My family did the ZipLine and loved it, I stayed behind at the cafe, which felt like a lovely treehouse. Highly recommend visiting here, you won’t be disappointed. The pool area has a minimal fee, but it’s worth every cent. Love this place, you will too I’m positive.

The music, food and drinks were really good. Everyone was really nice, the pool is a great temperature. The views are so much better in person.

We wanted to do the hike of 5,5km and was 10€pp to park the car and do the hike. You follow the sign of hike but coming to the fence upstairs there is no sign were to go higher so go left because you cannot go right, then 200m on the right you go up, again no sign. Upstairs is a beautiful 😍 view. Coming down and back to the farm in about 2,5 hours you have to pay 25€pp for a bed so you can use the pool. Where is that 10€pp for if you don’t provide even a shower or something? We have our own pool so did a lunch which was nice and went off. Its a nice hike, you cannot do this on flipflops, we did the hike with boots 🥾 .

We had a wonderful experience last night! Food and service were exceptional. If you go, you have to have the egg parfait - it is sublime. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. Thank you for a memorable evening.

Perhaps the best restaurant the Caribbean? Gil and Milaur are the best hosts managing the main dining room with ease. You feel as though you are entering a private home ready, relaxed, at ease, and anticipating to receive one of the best meals on the island. It’s so hard to pick one item on the menu, but you absolutely must choose the egg parfait, it is one of those items on the menu that you have to try. Because once you do, you will be coming back time and time again for a bite of this delicious dish. I’ve had the Rossini Tourneau topped with seared Foie Gras, and sole meunire with a beurre blanc, the pot pressoire, the branzino, i could go on and on. But suffice to say you really can’t go wrong, just decide surf or turf and sit back and enjoy. The wine selection is worthy of the food (they can help, or you can just have a Frenchman with you!). Tasting menu or a la carte, they can pair the wine with the meal and make it extra special. But don’t forget the Rum Room. Jason will be there to help you digest your meal with a splash of rum from around the world. With over hundred rums to choose from, you need the curation of Jason to steer you in the right direction…and if you like cigars (i do!) then you can light up an authentic Cuban of your choice. This place is truly one of the absolute gems on the island. And yes the food is superb, the atmosphere a 10, but Gil and Milaur just are the perfect hosts to your evening. If you don’t go here at least once during your stay, you will be missing out!

Fantastic dinner. We booked this as a treat for us and I’m glad I did. The tasting menu allowed us to try almost everything we wanted to try and it didn’t disappoint. The wine pairing was also on point - spring for the grand cru wines. While the wine list is impressive, the wines they selected to accompany the dishes made it more enjoyable. The owner is passionate about the food and the wines and it shows. Note they have lots of gluten free options, including bread.

We had the pleasure of dining at le Pressoir on October 15 and can say with confidence that it was one of the best meals of our lives. In particular, the beef tenderloin with fois gras was sensational. Creative presentation of the dishes was impressive.The atmosphere is cozy and not fussy and the service is excellent. As regular visitors to the island, we have added them as one of our go-to spots for a special meal.

The food was GREAT and service VERY attentive, and we don't blame the restaurant for this, but shortly after we sat down, a very rowdy group of 10 guys came into this small restaurant. For the rest of the evening, our meal was accompanied by extremely loud laughter and conversation. To the hostess' credits, she did ask them to keep it down a few times, but to no success. I guess, sometimes, one has to enjoy your company and an amazing meal even in these circumstances. 5* to the owner and hostess, they genuinely apologized for the situation.

Nice local find with reasonable prices. We had Pad Thai and Thai Basil Stir Fry. Both were ample portions with good flavor. Pad Thai was a bit dry so be sure to ask for additional sauce. Brought some leftovers home. Place was empty as this is low season, but the food stands out.

We had dinner at Avantika on our first night, and it was a great experience. The atmosphere is intimate and romantic — perfect for a quiet evening out. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome right away. My wife is vegan, and they were accommodating with the menu, which we really appreciated. The food came out fairly quickly, and everything tasted great — flavorful and beautifully presented. We ordered one appetizer, two entrées, a mojito, and a Diet Coke. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality and service made it worth it. Overall, it was a lovely evening and a 5-star experience. We’d definitely come back again, just maybe not too often because of the price.

Small little jem on a second floor of a building hidden inside. We chose to sit outside and it was great. Someone at another table was smoking and we asked to be moved, which was not a problem. I got apicy chilly and it was great. Kids had Thai fried rice and loved it as well. Atmosphere was relaxing and quit. Was 2 minutes drive from a hotel and was able to get parking right away. Win-win. Asked the kids to rate all the places we went to over the past week and hands down this was second choice for everyone.

had an excellent late lunch here. We ordered black pepper beef, green curry shrimp and pad thai. the portions were generous and it was all delicious. our hostess Fiona was great, very knowledgeable and helpful

This place offers alot of vegan & vegetarian options! We ordered a few dishes : Fresh spring rolls, crispy tofu, fried sprong rolls, noodles, red thai curry with tofu & vegetables, fried rice. All the appetizers were good, fav was the crispy tofu. The main dishes red curry & fried rice were equally delicious. The service was fast & the staff is friendly & attentive. For desserts we had the mango cheesecake & passion fruit sorbet both were 10/10 👌 Overall our experience was good! Keep it up team!

unbelievable restaurant, the food was phenomenal and the scenery was unmatched. escargot were perfect, and the orange roughy and scallop risotto were both 10/10. we loved being right by the water and the servers were great with recommendations. the only thing i'd change was the length of time it took for anyone to give us the check... maybe that's just the culture of the island and they assume you want to hang out after dinner but from dessert to getting our bill was at least an hour. overall though i'd highly recommend. also rec getting a taxi there because there's really nowhere to park unless you squeeze on the narrow shoulder of the road.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening and the experience. We arrived at 5:45 and were able to enjoy cocktails while watching a beautiful sun set over the from bay at our table on the beach. Service was impeccable with all staff I knowledgeable about the menu. The service was equivalent to any excellent fine dining I have enjoyed in France. The Lobster ravioli in a lobster bisque appetizer was fantastic. I enjoyed the Orange Roughi and my husband ordered the scallops with asparagus risotto and said it was perfect.

An absolutely delightful dinner La Cigali tonight. We were able to sit at a large table on an under an umbrella on the beach. Looking out over the bay. All of the food was excellent. We enjoyed ceviche and appetizer with smoked salmon and wahoo, and then onto our main courses of duck breasts, fillet of beef and orange roughie. Everything was cooked to perfection. We ended up with a variety of different desserts as well. The service was excellent and the hospitality was very good.

Really cool vibe, great food and ok service. The parking situation is a little screwy… but we liked it well enough to go twice during our stay. I will say… I have never seen so many people celebrating their birthdays; this is true for both visits. I would recommend having dinner here for sure.

I went there in April this year, the ambiance , the view, the food and the service was amazing. I dined there with my family. We had an excellent dining experience. They also have shuttle service to take you to and from the restaurant.

Don’t come here if you’re on a tight budget, but if you’re looking for a memorable experience and a wonderful atmosphere then it makes for a great evening venue. Once you reach the venue at the top of the hill then the setting and views are impressive. Yes a lot of the views over the island are obstructed by nearby buildings and rooftops, but the open pools and rooftop decking give a sense of being on top of the world. Staff are very welcoming and as professional as the venue suggests, and there’s plenty of tables throughout the venue inside and out, as well as bar seating, but at popular times it’s worth ensuring you have a reservation. There is a ‘happy hour’ which covers two for one drinks as well as a discount on the small plates from the food menu. This makes for a great value way of tasting a number of the food items on offer and shows the high quality offered - presentation and taste is exceptional and despite being included in the offer each dish comes in a good portion size. The music makes for a great atmosphere and the lighting at night adds to the vibe brilliantly. One of the most memorable places I went to on the island and I’d love to return.

Amazing restaurant! We had an early reservation (5:15pm) so we got to see the amazing views in the daylight as well as the nighttime views with everything lit up on the outdoor dining area. It was spectacular! The food was delicious from the appetizer to the dessert and our waiter Rafael was so personable and friendly that he made our experience there even better. A definite yes to this restaurant. We will return every time we visit.

Great restaurant for romantic dinner with amazing view. Sushi was really fresh and well presented and atmosphere was nice and relaxing, we have enjoy dinner and will be back next time we are in St.Maarten.

Feeling like coming home, such a great and welcoming staff. At this time of year, no reservation needed. I loved the chicken with coconut rice! My God, a dream! The cook there, a young talented woman from Brooklyn, is so gifted.

We had the best dinner at Bamboo House! Our server, Greta, was so wonderful. We were sitting outside when it started down pouring and she escorted us quickly inside with umbrellas and offered the best service! Food was also great.

3 Stars Villa Royale has a welcoming atmosphere and seems to be a favorite for many, but our experience was mixed. Both my wife and I ordered fish, and unfortunately, both dishes were overcooked and quite dry. To their credit, the staff did replace my wife's dish—though it came after we had already finished our meal, and the replacement was still on the dry side. We also didn’t quite get the authentic Creole flavors we were hoping for. While the service was polite and attentive, the food didn’t live up to our expectations. Might not return, but others may have a better experience.

I went to this restaurant after a friend recommendation. The food was really nice and well served. The cocktail was OK but I only recommend the frozen mojito or the frozen daiquiri. The rest is not really all that. They need to better themselves. Why only a 3 stars because the service is really bad the people that serve you make you feel like you are annoying them asking for details or more information on the plates, sighing and rolling eyes. Good food and very well served for the prices But the services need to be worked on He had the lobster and the conch

The food is tasty. The portions are generous. Most importantly, Ms. Rose and crew are warm and make you feel at home. This was our third visit since July, and we will back again soon.

My family rented out this hall for an event. The positives The room was colorfully and neatly decorated. The pineapple was delicious. The young woman who announced the meal was polite. It was lovely to spend time with loved ones. Constructive criticism The food was not good and was overcooked. There was plenty of food leftover and they refused to let anyone take anything home. We had a cake and the young lady who cut the cake appeared so vexed that she had to serve people it was a complete turn off. The service was slow. I noted the people dining outside, not part of our party were also commenting on the slow service. There are much better places to eat creole food in Saint Martin.

This place was recommended by a friend and I have to be honest my wife and I were not fans at all. The food was just ok, now the service was horrible, but the level of attention to our needs was not met.

Update: Still great! We had the creamy salmon, creamy & curry shrimp, with crab back, sautéed potatoes, tostones and rice. Was delicious! The food is great!! I was pleasantly surprised. The presentation of certain dishes has absolutely no bearing on the quality of the food. The service, however, could use improvement. I recommend the Mahi Mahi tacos, seafood pasta, and the ribs.

We celebrated my mom’s milestone birthday there. It was amazing! The staff was so friendly! They sung and danced with her to celebrate her special day. The food was fantastic and they give large portion. They also gave her a small dessert.

This place was eclectic, unique, and a great casual upscale vibe. The environment was perfect. The location was very low-key very relaxing beautiful scenery. The waiter Nyal was very cool, attentive, and personable. The pumpkin soup was delicious the octopus so I heard was also very delicious. The curry was outstanding. And the salmon was also very very enjoyable. Emilio’s is a bit pricey however, when you’re on vacation and you get an opportunity to enjoy a vibe like this with the people you enjoy being around You tend not to worry about the cost. Dessert too was absolutely delicious even though we were so full!! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and our server Nyal’s smiling face and voice is like coming home! He really makes our dining experience special!!

One of my favorite restaurants on the island. Between the character & charm of the ambiance, service, food & drinks. The history of the plantation & Emilio’s significance. It had it all. The hospitable owner Norman thanked us for dining when we were seated. My parents & I had such a great experience here. Their bread & pesto is delicious. Option for a 3 course dinner starting at $57.99. I loved the Pumpkin Ravioli & Pecan Crusted Seared Sea Scallops - food & portions were perfection! A dinner reservation is a must, and please be patient - everything is cooked fresh to order, their kitchen is not attached to the main dining & the staff works hard. This is a small but mighty restaurant and their volume is high for a reason - it’s absolutely delightful here. I would come back to dine any day!

Wonderful evening! My childhood friends and I were celebrating our 50th birthday. The staff made us feel so special! The food was fantastic with a great wine selection. Anytime I visit Saint Martin, I'll be sure to include Emilio's at least one night.

First time visiting/trying this restaurant. Everything was absolutely amazing. Nyal was our waiter and he was phenomenal!!! He was very helpful and knowledgeable. The pumpkin soup was delicious, the salmon was probably the best I've ever had! And the chocolate tart was heavenly!! The restaurant itself is beautiful and very clean and well kept. This was the best food we had the entire week we were here. Strongly recommend trying this place!!! Sooo good!! Thank you Nyal and staff!!!

We had a great experience at Emilio’s. Everything was perfect from the time we arrived until the time we left. We had excellent service from Nyal, Biggy, and Jermaine! They were all very attentive. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners Norman and Su. They couldn’t have been any nicer and truly grateful we chose their restaurant to dine at. The interior is beautiful and the food was delicious. We will definitely return when we come back to the island!

Ate dinner at Emilio's on Wednesday October 29th. Lovely hostess and server Marinnela. She has graced us with her friendly personality. The three course dinner was an excellent choice. Table of four had delicious appetizers of tenderloin medallion crusted goat cheese shrimp creole and dinner of Sea Bass and steak. Everything wad deliciously prepared perfectly. Dessert of carrot cake and apple crisp. Everything delicious

Wonderful open air and sidewalk style dining. Very pretty and excellent service. We chose the Formula dinner, for €23, you cannot go wrong. I had salmon tartare as my started. It was huge and absolutely delicious. With the baguette, it was a meal unto itself. Grouper in cream sauce for the main was cooked perfectly and paired with vegetables that were equally as good. My husband had the salmon and leek quiche as a starter. Again, a meal in itself and wonderfully made. He had salmon en croute, it was amazing! We both were so thrilled with our meals and the quiet, cozy atmosphere. We ate slowly and enjoyed every bite. The dessert we chose was coconut flan..creamy and just a touch of sweetness to end a perfect meal. The menu was in French and English and our servers were friendly and prompt. I would recommend this place because of the value and quality of the meal was excellent.

Located near the main area of Marigot, this restaurant offers a lovely setting by the bay where boats are docked. There’s usually a nice breeze, though it can feel a bit warm when the breeze dies down. The menu features daily specials and a reasonably priced €23 set meal that includes an appetizer, main course, and dessert. We were served a basket of crusty, delicious bread—though the butter wasn’t soft, it was rich and creamy. The standout was the onion soup, which might be the best I’ve ever had. Our family ordered the mahi-mahi, half chicken with fries, shrimp in garlic sauce, and a kids’ pasta Bolognese. The main dishes were all flavorful and satisfying. The kids’ meal, which costs €12 and includes a main (choices like nuggets, burger, pasta Bolognese, pizza, or hot dog), a drink, and a scoop of ice cream, was just okay—especially the pasta Bolognese. It was a bit lacking in sauce. Service was friendly, though it’s worth double-checking your bill. We were mistakenly charged for bottled water we didn’t order and an adult entrée instead of a kids’ meal (and extra €16), and it took longer than expected to sort out. I’ve included menu and special photos since those weren’t easy to find online.

We've been coming to St. Martin regularly since 2004 and Marigot has always been one of our favorite food stops. So to our surprise our favorite, Le Tropicana was closed. Looking about we decided to look at the other options and we found La Main open with a very nice looking menu. What a very pleasant surprise, service was good, the food was fabulous and the atmosphere was typical Marigot . . . we loved it.

Cozy restaurant at the Marigot marina. We enjoyed a lovely evening in this nice French style marina restaurant. It’s open towards the water and completely covered from the street. You get the water feeling and some fresh breeze from the lagoon. The waiter were very friendly, our 3yo loved the kids’ menu. The food was fresh, tasty and a. I’ve combination, with an eye to the details. I had a Heineken draft beer, very good. They also have a good selection of wine. We enjoyed the sunset time in the restaurant. It got busier around 8pm when we left. If you are looking for a nice dinner experience at the waterfront, that’s a decent spot. You may be lucky to find a parking lot directly on the street. Otherwise, there is a big (free) car park next to the marina.

Great food! Was recommended by reception at Centr' Hotel and what a wonderful recommendation. We ordered a dish with shrimp, scallops and leeks in a cream sauce over rice as well as a pizza with fresh tomatoe, mozzarella and a pesto drizzle. All I can say is.... DELICIOUS! The pics don't really do the food justice but it was very good! A must try when in St. Martin.

I had one of the best meals here everything was spot on! The burger was juicy and perfectly cooked, packed with flavor and served with crispy fries. The Caesar salad was fresh and crunchy, with a rich, creamy dressing and just the right amount of Parmesan. And the salmon? Absolutely delicious flaky, tender, and beautifully seasoned. The service was friendly and attentive, and the vibe of the place made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re craving quality food in a relaxed setting. Will definitely be back!

Wow, what can we say? What an amazing meal! The steak and prawns were absolutely to die for perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The drinks were spot on, and the service was top-notch. I absolutely loved everything about this place. 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

This is an outstanding restaurant you should make a point to visit while in Saint Martin. We had a fabulous meal along with wonderful wine pairings. The service was impeccable and the staff was incredibly attentive to our every need. O Plongeoir will always be on our minds when we are in Saint Martin.

We went during a very busy time but they were very forthcoming and upfront with the long wait. The atmosphere was nice and our seating was on the upper level which felt intimate and cozy. We were able to order drinks while we waited and although the wait time was high, it wasn’t frustrating at all. The waitress was personable and didn’t give the aura of being rushed, which was nice. The food was great. I ordered the zucchini pasta, a ribeye, and burger were also ordered. 2 desserts, an appetizer and 3 drinks. The total price was superb, about $140. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I came to La Terrasse yesterday evening for my birthday dinner and honestly, it did not fail to impress me. From the minute we walked through the door, the views, the service and the food.. absolutely fantastic!! Dylan and Mathias were very warm, welcoming and very attentive. The service and the food were an absolute 10/10!!! If you’re in St Martin, you MUST visit here! Thanks again to Dylan and Mathias, it was an experience I will never forget! 🤗

The food was amazing with lots of seafood and meat options to choose from! The mussels were super fresh and full of flavor, and the cordon bleu was so good. The service was a little slow, but honestly, the view made up for it — such a great spot to enjoy dinner and just take it all in. Definitely worth checking out!

We would highly recommend this restaurant. Everything from the food to the staff and the ambience was perfect. We were celebrating my birthday and had such a lovely evening. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of a shopping mall but also has a separate entrance. We were early and used the lift inside the mall. We were shown to an outside table with lovely views. Unfortunately it started to rain but we were quickly moved to another table under cover. The food was amazing, I had sea bass with a lobster bisque sauce, my husband had duck breast with a honey and raspberry vinegar. We asked to wait 15 minutes after the mains for dessert and shared a delicious creme bruleé. I loved that we were not rushed and were able to enjoy a drink after our meal while waiting for the rain to stop.

Everything about this restaurant is incredible. We were immediately greeted and seated. We were attended to and checked on regularly from the friendly staff. The drinks were fantastic, the entrees were great and the dessert is to die for. And to top it off the view is incredible! As someone who has travelled and eaten all of the world I can highly recommend this place. The Lemon Meringue Pie was the best I’ve ever had. Roast duck was phenomenal, cordon bleu was wonderful. The lava cake and profiterole were also incredible. Doesn’t seem like you can go wrong with any item here.

La Terrasse Rooftop Restaurant truly exceeded expectations. The food & service were incredible and the views of the harbor at sunset were breathtaking. Dylan went above and beyond in assisting with our reservation and helped coordinate a surprise bottle of chilled wine for our birthday guest & a sparkling dessert, making the evening truly special. For anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Marigot Bay, this restaurant is a must!! We can't wait to come back!!

Cute restaurant giving a local, modest and cozy vibe. It's tucked away behind the harbour so need to walk a bit further than what Google map suggested. Walk further to the right of Croissant Royale. We had the daily special (red snapper and shrimp) and the creole platter. Both were filling and tasty. It was interesting for me to try the creole sauce and way of cooking. The red snapper was fresh and big!

HARD to find. Trust Google and keep walking. You first see a sign with same name that is the boat place, but walk around he water side to find the restaurant. Mostly locals and only the owner is English-speaking, but the menu has English, and the food is out of this world. Best we had on the island!

My husband and I were looking for a delicious seaside dinner and we found it! We had a fantastic dinner; shrimps and scallops with pasta and vegetables for me and Mahi-Mahi, shrimp, and grouper for him! So good! Plus we had fritters as an appetizer and the crème brûlée for dessert. Excellent service, cozy, romantic atmosphere. Definitely worth the trip

Had dinner last night (a Saturday in November) and had a great experience. Had a nice table in the breeze right on the bay. Staff was kind and attentive. Food was fresh and creative. And very reasonably priced. Overall great experience!

Wonderful lunch spot in Marigot near the Port Royale Marina. The marina is still recovering from the 2017 hurricanes, but it's great to see local family restaurants have reopened. I enjoyed the best mussels and fries I've had in ages - perfectly cooked, in a delicious white wine and fresh herb sauce. My husband's mahi mahi in creole sauce was amazing. Even the chicken sandwich a friend ordered was huge and yummy, and seafood salad had a good-sized portion of shrimp and scallops. The English-speaking young waitress took good care of us, and the chef, Franz, came out to the patio to check on us. I'm definitely planning to return. The only question is whether to try something different or just to order those delicious mussels again.

Great restaurant quietly serving classic French and creole cuisine without pretentiousness. Sat directly on the waterfront you have wonderful views paired with some of the best food I've had on the island.

We stopped by Bacchus for lunch during our trip to St Martin and could not be more pleased! We tried a few appetizers, including a lovely cheese board, flight of foie gras - 4 different styles and flavors, and fresh salmon. All were stunning! Our son enjoyed a lovely steak for his main with a nice pepper sauce. We also hopped over to the wine shop after to pick up additional bottles of the wine that we enjoyed with lunch! The service was impeccable and we would absolutely recommend you drop in for lunch during your stay!

A new chef is in residence so the menu has changed a bit. Very fresh and wonderful. The wine list is amazing!

We went with group of 6 for lunch. Food was good but service whilst pleasant was lacking. No wine list offered ,despite this being their core business and when we did order a bottle of wine it took 20 mins to tell us they were out of stock and offer an alternative.

I'm giving you a 5 star reveiw as I just wanted to say June 13 7pm.. You will be in for a treat with Gabriel wright playing. I've seen him play multiple times in person and on line. He takes live requests has an extensive list of songs. Gabes original songs are top notch.. I hope he plays here often as we will be coming to visit the island and see Kim and Gabe with the conch clan. (We the conch clan are avid followers of Gabe and Kim). Cheers and enjoy what Gabe has to offer. ❤️

We live on the island. Bacchus is our favorite place to go for lunch and dinner. The dishes are amazing each time. A good restaurant is like a vacation, it transports you, and it becomes a lot more than just about the food

We had an absolutely perfect meal today, everything was delicious and the service was very good as well. The ravioli with mushrooms was especially excellent.

it was a pretty smooth experience. We came in on a slower night (Monday.) And from the right side of the building, you could see the chef preparing the fresh dough for the pizzas. Nice!… We were quickly greeted and seated! We had a very nice view of the marina and pier…. The pizzas are medium-sized and around USD $12- $26 per pie. they play the mixture of R&B jams and soft rock from the 80’s. The waitress was very pleasant, and always brought a smile….. the server did mess up the order, but we didn’t want to make a big stink about it and end up getting the special sauce LOL! if you’re in the area I would recommend it for a couple and families!… And an awesome views of the ocean and sunset.

The food here was wonderful from fresh grilled mahi mahi, spaghetti carbonara, to bavette with roasted vegetables. Every dish was perfect. The setting is beautiful on the water with a view of the marina. As wonderful as the food was, the service was even better - relaxed, kind, friendly. My only disappointment was that we didn’t eat here every night of our vacation

Right by the sea. Free-range iguanas are optional. Attentive personnel, great Italian food. Not a single thing to complain about. The burger on the photo is from my last visit, however everything Italian on their menu is fantastic. Highly recommended!

A truly unique place where Ras-Tafari and Marcus Garvey are celebrated in a magnificent culinary manner. Of course vegan style. One of our friends never had vegan food and loved the burger. We enjoyed the burger and the roti very much. The service and atmosphere are of high quality, authentic, unique and welcoming to all. The music was a great mix of new and classic reggae music.

Super flavourful, unique tasting, and nourishing food!! Came here on Saturday night which we learnt is the only evening that the restaurant is open. The owners (a couple) are very welcoming and sweet. They cook up some very balanced and delicious food. We had the healing soup, mushroom burger (wow actually best mushroom burger we've ever had!), and roti. Everything was super delectable and tasty! they had a nice touch of making brussel sprouts crunchy in the mushroom burger and roti. We also had the sugar free home made juice. The ambiance is very laid back and eccentric. Edited: Google map updated its location with my update so the below tip isn't needed anymore! Yay Location wise Google map is wrong so if you're driving towards the restaurant south east you have to go a bit further than what Google map says. Highly recommend!

This was a great find! A wonderful husband and wife team from France opened this lovely colorful spot in the midst of a retail area. Breakfast all day. The lunch options were all enticing. Everything is made to order. My veal dish came in a dark coconut curry gravy with plantains and onions, with a side of rice and a small salad. Hubbie loved his spaghetti carbonara… not even anything left on the plate to dip my bread in. Dessert caramel ice cream and fresh fruit. We don’t speak French so it’s been a challenge in these islands. But these were the two most welcoming French people we have met on our journey. I was thankful to have found this lovely spot.

This place was great. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Fresh juice drinks were good and the fruity libations in the parrot glasses were full of yum. On top of the good service and drinks was the food. The tuna special (rolled with avocado and mango) and crispy potatoes was amazing. We had several of the desserts and they were great as well. Other highlights on the table was the beef stew and the amazing looking burger on fresh bread. The setting was nice and we still had a breeze even though it's a couple blocks of the water. Would go again. Note: it's a cash or euro (either is fine) kind of place ... No credit card

There must be new cooks there. We encountered an older couple. They were nice but the food was awful. The Colobo chicken tasted like she stirred the seasoning in a cup of hot water and poured it over the chicken. Plus it had no flavor. Use to come here every year, but this is my last.

Got the oxtail stew meal to dine. One of my favorite parts of visiting this country. The service was great, everyone was extremely friendly, and the food matched. The meal was amazing and this is a must go for anyone visiting.

The food was good and the service moved pretty quickly. It was one of the only places still open on a Friday night in Phillipsburg. I wanted curry goat but they were out, so I opted for the curry chicken and it was tasty .

We found this place back in 2019 and everything we go to St. Maarten we make a point of going there a few times. Francois is the son who is the cook and Jimmy is the dad, who just retired. His daughter, Alessia, now runs the business. It's a family affair as the aunt will come in and help out also. We talk with Francois all the time and he is a very personable and friendly man. We keep telling him that we tell and encourage people to stop and try his food, they won't be disappointed!! Huge portions, great price!!

We first found Jimmy’s in 2023 and have just returned again from SXM. This is a MUST GO to place if you want to enjoy the BEST RIBS on the Island of Saint Martin. Must say the wings are also great. In fact, have never had anything there I did not like. The rice, mac and cheese, and salads are great accompaniments to the meal. Have now been there at least 6 times and would never go to the island without at least one visit. They also do take-out and this visit brought racks of ribs home for the kids! Francois and the entire crew make it such an enjoyable experience and thanks to you Francois and all the gang – we will be back.

Loved it! This is that quintessential moment where an unassuming establishment brings a foodie joy. I mean it's literally part of a parking lot... yet every aspect gave what you wanted it to give. Service was cordial, kind, prompt & professional. Portion was healthy. The ribs were tender, meaty, smoky, throughly seasoned & charred to perfection. The noodles w/ cheese sauce was flavorful & lowkey addictive. I wish my route brought me back that way I would have stopped for dinner to go. Side note they're a beautiful couple/ family. Highly recommended!

La Villa Hibiscus is one of the best dining experiences we had on the island. Chef Bastian is an incredible talent—his dishes were beautifully crafted, delicious and beautifully presented. The wine pairing was terrific. The whole experience felt personal yet polished. He greeted us when we came in. His team was so warm and attentive—it’s like being welcomed into someone’s home, but with the finesse of a top-tier restaurant. The restaurant itself is beautiful with intimate elegance. We did not know what to expect but we loved it! It’s a must for anyone who loves food done with heart and creativity.

My husband and I were returning from the beach in late afternoon, quite disheveled, sweaty, covered in sand, and hungry, as we passed the beautiful Villa Hibiscus. We were a bit embarrassed to go and make a table reservation in that state (they are on OpenTable too, so you don't have to repeat what we did:) however, as we peaked through the entrance, a friendly lady came running to us, inquired about our wishes and promptly set us up with a table reservation for the same evening. We really appreciated that they allow smoking and that as smokers, they placed us at a very private table so we were to ourselves and also did not pose any disturbance to potential non smoking guests. Very thoughtful staff! As we came in for our dinner, the service was kind and seamless. They inquired about any potential dietary restrictions or allergies right away. The atmosphere is amazing, with cosy romantic lighting, plentiful plants and fountains. We chose the 5 course Gourmet menu (the basic menu) at 75 eur per person without drinks. They have 3 menus available (no a la carte), with 2 larger menus (6 courses at app 160 eur and 7 courses at app 260 eur - please check the prices on their web page or OpenTable app for precise info:) We are usually not huge fans of being "at chef's mercy" as is customary for fancy dining experiences but this was exquisite! Every course and every dish was prepared not only beautifully but with perfect balance in taste and texture. I usually do not eat much fish, but the Mahi Mahi fillet in turmeric and lemon grass sauce was just the right texture between firm and soft and as for the pork that came next, my husband claims is the best he has ever had. It was a nice touch to be also invited to peak in the kitchen/behind the scenes and meet the chef. While each course looks very tiny, the pace of dining and the final amount of food is just right (at least it was more than satisfactory for us). While pricey (with drinks, especially if you decide to splurge on some good wine and cocktails), this is a lovely culinary experience and can be a great romantic evening to add to your vacation schedule!

Chef Bastian is one of the most creative chefs on the island. He didn’t disappoint, again, last night. What a wonderful meal. We had the 6 course tasting meal. We started with a lovely drink by the pool. We lingered for at least 1/2 hour, enjoyed the amuse bouche laughed, and even had two of the lovely hand crafted cocktails. This consisted of a tea tray with three wonderfully crafted bits, one which was a pea puree with crispy bites of croutons, then smoked ceviche served in a faux sea urchin ceramic, and then finally a carrot purée with shaved carrot on top. Delicious! We finally moved to the main table. We were five people and had a lovely table overlooking the main area. Our first course was a spectacular summer tomato dish, thinly sliced with delicate pomegranate seeds. The next dish was a delicate cheese soufflé with a coating of freshly shaved black truffles, creating a shell around the soufflé, served with a seafood foam bisque, which created a perfect balance. The next dish was a rare slice of tuna paired with a leek amongst dollops of coconut cream in a sea of Demi glacé. the final dish was a sous vide chicken re-fashioned along with two baby artichokes that were seared and placed on top with the garnish of greens and a generous portion of caviar. Original review: We were very disappointed with our meal tonight. We reserved a table months ago as a final celebration for our honeymoon. While the food was good, the service was horrible. Our server didn’t know what he was serving and regularly had to ask for help from other staff. Our wine pairings didn’t arrive with the courses, resulting in us waiting for the pairing to be served and the food not being experienced at the proper temperature. Once we completed the courses, no one came to see if we were interested in a cafe or post-dinner drink and we ultimately asked for the bill to take our cafe at home. We’ve experienced many incredible meals in Saint Martin and this experience was by far the worst given the exorbitant price tag for the extremely poor service received

We stopped here on the way to the beach. The owner bakes everything himself and has continued this inspiring work from his father since the 80s. We had the chicken sandwich and the coconut turnover. I'd say it's best to stick with the treats. The turnover was not too sweet which was nice for me (although I wish there was a bit more coconut 😅). This is a nice spot to give a try 🙂 enjoy!

Nestled right off the busy road makes atmosphere a 3 for dining in. The steak sandwich was worth stopping for and our daughter liked her sausage and cheese sandwich.

Lovely place. We were staying close by and went here almost every day. Good selection of traditional baked goods, and a very cool selection of inventive savory treats. Despite the busy hillside, the outdoor seating area was charming and cozy.

This place is great!! Delicious pastries and sandwiches, we were able to try the salt cod pastry (incredible) as well as a few others, as well as a sandwich. Everything was great, and the view is amazing. Highly recommend this place to anyone in St Martin!

This was a nice little Bakery they make fresh bread daily they have daily specials for lunch and breakfast. They got different desserts different breads that make you sandwiches service was amazing staff is very friendly 8 here a couple times wasn't great each time we were here thank you so much for the good food and good views I recommend stopping here if you're on the island the great Loki spot right on side of the road. Stumbled upon Exodus Juice Bar and so glad we did! We only had one juice, but it was amazing — fresh, flavorful, and just what we needed on a warm day. Wish we had discovered this gem earlier in our trip — we would have been here every day for juices or smoothies. Super friendly service and great vibes. A must-visit if you’re in Marigot!

We decided to take an island tour of the Dutch and French sides and our tour guide and taxi operator was Blake. He also stopped here ar the Exodus Juice Bar for us to get a drink and check out the local vendors so we could get some stuff to take back home. Anyway, we ordered a drinks and found that the strawberries were all sold out. We then ordered the raspberries mixed with other flavors to go. We waited on the items and observed them making the drinks. There were no concerns about safety or sanitation as watched the items being prepared for our consumption. We received the to go order and it was worth the wait for the refreshing drink.

The mango smoothie with coconut milk got us to come back to the juice truck again and again. Freshly made in front of your eyes by kind and laughing staff.

I’m a big fan of Bahamas style conch salad yet decided to try the creole style here at Sandy’s and it did not disappoint. Great flavour with the right amount of heat from the hot sauce on the side. Would love to come back to try their other food options!

Really delicious Caribbean food in heart of Marigot market, was so good that I went back multiple times. Tried a variety of dishes, including oxtail, ribs, fried fish, grilled seafood specials (scallops, conch, lobster, fish). Everything was flavourful, from perfectly grilled plantains to rice and beans. Prices were reasonable.

I have had burgers all over the world and this place really impressed me! They make their own burger buns!!! Ice cold beer and cocktails Nice selection of burgers with fancy toppings as well as stuffed patty burgers. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the place is a tad bit run down and pretty expensive! But hey! I really enjoyed it! Well definitely go back!

Looks a bit divey but that’s expected for a quick service Caribbean place.  Good service and only $2 for a 12 oz can of Coca-Cola.  Burgers were huge and the fries were plentiful but extremely soggy and greasy.  We ordered a classic American burger and a Jamaican burger with jerk spice and plantains and they were both rather ordinary, and unfortunately dry, overcooked, very thick patties, so it was hard to take a bite.  But only $40 for 4 drinks and 2 burgers, so very affordable considering how some places really price gouge you in the area.

I had lunch here and being GF I acquired a burger without a bun. It was tasty and cooked correctly, excellent service and the art on the walls inside is wonderful. My party had a stuffed burger and a fish burger as well. Stuffed burgers are very tricky things. If you like well done burgers, they are a good bet. In order to melt the cheese well enough, the burger is going to be cooked medium well or well done at the bare minimum. Just the breaks for stuffed burgers, unless you stuff with something like a brie. So my party's burger was more done than they wanted. But fine otherwise. The party member who ordered the fish burger with goat cheese was in a state of food bliss while eating. I heard 4 separate mentions about how amazing the burger was. So safe bet there. The drinks were good and came out exactly at the right time and we're tasty. Good choice!

A typically caribbean place with mad burgers. I ate the Smurf burger and it was good. A bonus, you get a beautiful view of the cruise ships.

Beautiful view..the Airbnb we stayed in had 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. We had so much space but were yet able to spend time with each other. The beach there is beautiful..a bit rocky and not as calm but the water was still lovely.

Living here and really enjoyed it. Gated very safe area with pools and tenis court, beach is a bit washed away but still can get access to the sea.

Our stay here was great. We booked through Airbnb under 100% Villas. Both were great. The condo was beautiful with everything we needed for our vacation. The property was clean, and the parking lot has a gate around it. Would definitely recommend this location and 100% Villas. Chelsea was our host, and she was perfect as well.

We went to this restaurant with a family party of six. We had moderate expectations and were subsequently delighted. The atmosphere, the service and the food were just perfect. Every member of our party ordered a Tangine—the meats were so tender and flavorful. Walking into the restaurant reminded me of some places I have visited in southern Spain (acknowledging I haven’t been to Morocco!), lots of geometric design, and part of the restaurant is open air. In conclusion—the food is good, the service was humorous and personable and the decor interesting and attractive. Exceeded our expectations.

We went twice with a group of people and when you open the two large golden doors you enter into a Mediterranean village; you will feel like you’re in Morocco 🇲🇦 The owner of Le Marocain spent months making every detail of the place stand out with mosaics, vitrail windows, curtains, and greenery. The restaurant serves authentic chutneys with pita bread and great dishes to share. Indulge in couscous or rice served with curries, stews, and meats in gravy. They serve wines or unique craft cocktails made with fresh ingredients 🌶 🌱 During dinner, they have belly dancers bringing entertainment to their guests. Before leaving, try their mint tea and desserts. A great place that we can hopefully soon ad on We Are SXM 🤩 We had one side note which is the reason that it’s given 4 stars and not 5 which is that during our last visit 4 out of 6 people had belly cramps for en entire day after eating here. So on hygiene or food preservation the place has to improve a little bit 😉 Luckily the atmosphere and great vibe make up for most of it.

We came for the last evening of our vacation staying at Porto Cupecoy. Our server was so kind and had so much energy! His recommendations were absolutely spot on. Everything we had was incredible. The lobster bisque was some of the best we had ever had! The steak cut like butter, and the asparagus shrimp risotto was DELICIOUS. The pavlova is also a must for dessert! Thank you for making our last night so special! 😊

Altro – St. Martin (June 2024) Dining at Altro in St. Martin was easily one of the most memorable culinary experiences we’ve had. We visited in June 2024 and opted for their 3-course menu, which delivered on every level. Each course was thoughtfully prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. The dessert was a standout—perfectly sweet and satisfying without being overpowering. But what truly elevated the evening were the mango passionfruit shots at the end—such a fun and refreshing surprise that left a lasting impression. From start to finish, the atmosphere, service, and food all came together seamlessly. If you're visiting St. Martin and want a fine dining experience that feels special yet relaxed, Altro is a must-visit.

Good and atmosphere are great here. Go with a price fix menu or the specials. Can’t go wrong. Salmon, scallops(shrimp removed due to allergy and they accommodated), tuna carpaccio, dessert was fresh berries with meringue and vanilla ice cream.

We had a 3 course set menu for a reasonable price. The waitress was below par, grumpy, unfriendly, but the waiter was great, friendly, joyful. The food was good and the lobster soup was absolutely gorgeous. All in all highly recommendable.

We dined her for Old Years Eve, and although it was busy, the staff was pleasant, and the atmosphere was still relaxing and comfortable. We were served timely, and our waitress was very attentive to our needs. I also like that the bartender served us tasters, and they were delicious. I would definitely revisit it again. The service was swift and the wait staff was great. We were a littlw thrown off by an appetizer called "millefeuille" which we thought was a pastry but it was just vegetables cut very thinly. Very tasty was the crabcake. I had a tenderloin which was perfect and my friend had the salmon which was beautiful and well prepared. Lovely place and im def. Going back!!

Just because it was a very windy day on Orient Bay we decided to visit Anse Marcel Beach and restaurant. Worse service ever in my 15 years visiting the island. Very rude and unpleasant waiters. Nothing special about the food. It was definitely the last time we went there.

Beautiful grounds and view. They were kind enough to serve us on Christmas Day although the bar was not open until evening. Rooms look amazing with private plunge pools. No beach but cute pool and bar area and dock for diving into the beautiful turquoise waters just offshore.

As a rum lover, i really appreciated the great rum selection from the close French and non French Caribbean islands as well as south and central America. However, prices are really exaggerated, as in many places on St Martin, even more knowing the special fiscal status of the island. tasting of 3 basic rums starts at 55 € :(

This is a gem. We stumbled upon this one evening when a roadblock forced us to change our evening plans. As rum drinkers (from Nicaragua, we have long been lovers of Flor de Cana but rarely find other rums we enjoy as much) this place was like a dream come true. We’ve never before come across such a place for a rum connoisseur. The host Jason was very knowledgable introducing us to many rums and teaching us much about Caribbean rums we did not know. The decor of the indoor and little porch seating areas are perfectly matched to the high calibre of rums they provide. Such a pleasant spot, and extraordinary experience! La part de Agnes is truly unique in the world. We will definitely return on our next trip. Thank you!!

This cozy little French cafe is a nice spot to relax after the rhythm of Front Street lulls too loud. They've got all the basic espresso and coffee drinks plus some fun twists on iced tea. Lots of crepes, sandwiches, and other lunch fare plus Vegan/vegetarian options are available.

Friendly place on a side street, away from the T-shirt and expensive watch stores. Friendly staff, cool wine and decent food. Reasonably priced.

The coconuts are fresh, the vibes are superb, and the soup is wholesome. You'll get the true feeling of the community of St Martin, and start your day on the right foot. A must while here, if you're lucky enough to be here on Sunday! They get slammed so earlier is usually better.

It's my second time here and we are back. Middle Eastern Food restaurant and is Delicious. Chef Abraham cooks excellently.. a friendly atmosphere, Just loved the flavor. This is not a fast food restaurant, so the waiting time to get your order is the normal time when you get fresh food served. So like the Chef said.. it was worth it .. I ordered for 5 people and they All enjoyed it very much. !!! I highly recommend it. Once again, Chef Abraham, thank you so much.. your food is absolutely delicious. !

The owner and his family are the best! Food is good, atmosphere is relaxed and not overwhelmingly busy, not noisy although located on the main street, area is clean, service is respectful. The only deficit at the moment is that the meat is a bit on the salty side. Hopefully, that will be adjusted. However, it's a wonderful place to grab a quick meal by yourself or with others. Even nice for a casual date.

That tastiest place to eat on the island! It’s our second visit of the island 3 years apart and every time we come to SXM we must pass by this place and eat ! Shawarma is delicious. One of the best places to dine in or for takeout on Simpson Bay. Very reasonable price yet delicious food. I opted for the "The Famous". It was packed full of protein. Tasty, delicious, satisfying and enjoyable. The atmosphere is relaxing & calm. Customer service is excellent.

Great location on the beach on the French side, open for lunch and dinner. They do not do pizza for lunch, dinner only. The bruschetta was phenomenal, my favorite thing I had. The entrees are quite big and could be shared. Good pasta, tasty steak skewers. Nice wine and beer options as well, and friendly staff. The mosquitos were bad even during the day so we brought bug spray and would recommend using it if you go.

Absolutely delicious food! I tried escargot for the first time, and it was delicious. The sauces for each meal were amazing. We really enjoyed the freshly baked pizza. We sat near the water and enjoyed the views!

We went to Mezzaluna to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we made the reservation, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Without even knowing the occasion, they seated us at what I believe was the best table in the restaurant — with the most breathtaking sunset view. The service was impeccable — Greg and the entire team were so attentive, friendly, and warm throughout the evening. I’m a truffle lover and always order truffle dishes wherever I go. I can honestly say I had the best truffle pasta and pizza of my life here. I would come back a thousand times! Highly, highly recommended.

When you first drive up to the place it looks like a dump. I mean it’s really tu down looking with an old wooden deck in front with some beat up picnic tables. Then you have to walk down a hall past the kitchen and, boom, you enter a beautiful outdoor patio dining area facing the sea. It’s lovely

Dinner at Masa Luna SXM — Wow. We grabbed a table right on the bay at Masa Luna SXM, and honestly, it was one of those nights you just want to bottle up and keep forever. The Caribbean breeze, the sound of the water, and that view — absolutely unbeatable. We started with the Bruschetta Inferno, and let me tell you — it’s the perfect mix of fresh and fiery. Crunchy bread, sweet tomatoes, a little basil, and then that subtle heat that sneaks up on you in the best way. It’s addictive. The Salade d’Endives was the perfect contrast — crisp, fresh, and light, with just the right tang to make every bite pop. Between the two, our taste buds were doing a happy dance. And the staff? Incredible. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there. They made us feel like old friends instead of customers, which made the whole evening even better. If you’re in St. Martin and want amazing food with a view that will take your breath away, Masa Luna SXM is the place. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit.
