DON’T MAKE THE MISTAKE Well we are 5 came in to this place to grab some food and see how good it will be. Terrible service we waited almost 2 hours for our food. When it came out the food really wasn’t the best. You can probably well most definitely will find better food elsewhere. Their waiters are nice but they do not come back to ask if you need anything else. The drinks have no refill even after all the wait not even as a courtesy. I made the mistake so that you don’t have to.

Out front, you have 2 menus. It's not what it seems. One restaurant (Tello Mex) is upstairs, and Don Tello is on the ground level. When we scanned the QR code, the website was down. You don't have physical menus? That's a loss. And what's with the chain across the entryway? Do you not want customers to feel invited? Half our party wanted stuff from the Tello Mex menu. How's this for a business proposition.: Share the restaurant with both kitchens. Give groups the option of ordering from either menu. If your ticket system doesn't work with that concept, update it. And for the love of customers, lose the chain!

There is ample seating and it is right across from the ferry to Old San Juan. We sat outside on the downstairs verandah/porch. We can feel the natural breeze from the water. There is also an upstairs verandah and seating inside that is air conditioned. The food is great there is a lot to share. The portions easily can feed two.

Good view across the bay, friendly staff, freshly made food. Creole downstairs, mexican upstairs. We had creole. I will come back for lunch. Not sure if it gets crazy busy for dinner

Our group really enjoyed our dinner and will add this restaurant as a must any time we are in the area. The chillo Frito was amazing!

The food was decent, but we had to wait 45 minutes to be seated—though we were informed about the delay beforehand. The prices were fairly reasonable. Our waiter was incredibly quick and a very pleasant gentleman, which made the experience much better.

Not so flavorful dishes. I was expecting more traditional puertorrican food. The Can Can was unflavored. The Chicken Milanesa, was something that I can Descibe. Wasn’t a Milanesa.

The food was terrible, the service wasn't good, our waitress would disappear and made us feel like we were a burden more than customers. The restaurant is overpriced for the quality of food and service The only good experience we had it was the hostess at the door. The guy was super friendly, I will not return

I think my Mom is in the Kitchen delicious!!!!! Rocky our Server was Amazing!!! Highly recommend. As a Puertorriqueña who’s Mom and Dad owned a restaurant and enjoyed their home cooked meals. This again would be my choice. 10 stars delicious

We were there on time, when they opened. I was looking to have Mofongo finally this time in San Juan. So, we went in there and it was a very nice experience. Rocky, our waiter, was very friendly and kind, and all the other staff as well. We ordered veggie mofongo and triple meat mofongo, and it really was above our expectations. it tasted so so good, meals were big. we also ordered Margaritas and Mojito, and they were also very good. the restaurant, the food and Rocky really made our day in PR. you have to go there. next time, when we are back to PR, we come back for sure and try other mofongos. thank you so much.

La Picadera in Old San Juan is a decent place to grab a bite, but nothing that truly stands out. The restaurant is really busy, and it seemed like the staff was a bit overwhelmed by the crowd. While they were very nice and polite, the service was quite slow, which took away from the experience. The food itself was okay—nothing spectacular or particularly memorable. After enjoying some truly great Puerto Rican food elsewhere, this meal just felt average. The prices were also just okay—not unreasonable but not a great value either. Overall, La Picadera isn’t a bad spot, but it’s not one of the best places to eat in Old San Juan. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here, but I’d return if necessary. It’s fine for a casual meal, but don’t expect anything extraordinary.

I ordered carne frita with rice and beans. The rice and beans were ok but the carne frita was bad. Basically bones. Yup, fried bones. My wife ordered the pasteles preña'os with chicken. Disgusting! The pasteles were made of breadfruit and they were ok, but the chicken? Basically, chunks of boiled tasteless chicken chunks, covered with onions to disguise the lack of proper cooking. The only good thing about this place was the piña colada.

Very good seasoned food, coconut rice was a bomb! The fish soup, the churrasco, and the arañota with lobster was amazing 👏 🤩 I really love it, for the first time we went there, we had an amazing experience!

Delicious! Nothing fancy but simply delicious food. We arrived at 4:20, about 10 Minutes before they closed and they were very welcoming. We wanted to grab a quick bite - we ordered the appetizer fried fish (red snapper), shrimp and rice with mashed plantains and a pitcher of sangria. Everything was amazing. The batter on the red snapper was light and the fish was moist and juicy. The shrimp, rice and mashed plantains were seasoned perfectly and the sangria was refreshing. We were just finishing a tour at Casa BACARDÍ and found this restaurant based on its proximity reviews- so happy we did! Definitely recommend stopping by.

If you are looking for great and fresh sea food this is the place ! Nothing fancy , not a wine list it’s all about the food and the service. Freshness and taste of the food are 5 stars.

I was very disappointed with my first visit here. Ordered the Skirt Steak and despite the nice portion I was shocked that it was poorly seasoned. Filete de Chillo in Creole sauce was very slimy and not seasoned as well. Overall the only thing we ordered that was good was the Breaded Fried Shrimp with French Fries. Our waitress provided a good service until she got our rice order wrong then refused to replace one of the white rice with yellow rice which we had initially asked for but she kept insisting that we didn’t. Mind you she didn’t even write our order down on anything and insisted we were wrong. In the end I had to keep getting her attention cause she was sitting down on her phone. Overall, we spent over $100 for nothing. Could’ve been better if we had ordered fast food instead.

Amazing seafood! Great atmosphere and the locals and staff were very welcoming. I had shrimp and rice and it may have been the best I’ve ever had. Paired with a beer brewed in PR, perfect meal minutes from the ocean and historic site. Highly recommended.

Quaint place with homemade pastas and authentic sauces. Don't let the exterior fool you, this place skimps on decor, atmosphere, and the little extras (Would be nice to have olive oil and bread and to serve water without requesting)... but makes up for it in an abundance of flavors! Nice portions and the individual Mickey mouse plates were quirky and cute. The wild boar sausage was incredible but would be better if served with peppers. Pappardelle carbonara was super tasty and perfectly cooked. Tagliatelle porcini was the best we've ever had. Spaghetti alla vongole was nice, but clams were a little dirty/gritty. BYOB of wine is recommended and they have a reasonable corkage fee. Menus are in Spanish. Definitely recommend! Best Italian on the island by a long shot!

Good service. Bolognese was absolutely delicious. Carbonara is authentic and would have been really good if it hadn't been so salty. Pasta is perfectly cooked.

Today was my first time here . I had a nice and delicious dinner. It is an authentic Italian restaurant. Small area but confie at the same time. They dont like to make sustitutions or changes. I will come back to try other things.

It's a small cozy family own Restaurant that is very welcoming. The owners treat you like you are a gest at their home. They serve traditional Italian cuisine. The food is great and they have a large variety of options.

Most incredible Italian experience outside Italy. Franco y Gemma make you feel like Sunday dinner at your nonna's house. Food is great and service much better.

Finally, found the best Italian kitchen in PR. You’ll feel like you are eating at nona’s home, nothing fancy just delicious food. Looking to go back and try the grilled veal chop plate. Tip: try the out-of-menu Carbonara if you wish to try an original recipe.

We just love this place. Please keep in mind this is authentic Italian food, and you will be served portions and quality this way. By far, it is the best Italian cuisine in Puerto Rico.

My friends and I stopped over here for some breakfast before our flight, they were open and we were so happpy they were open especially with hurricane Fiona. The food was delicious ; the mimosas were great! Def. Recommend this place!! Delicious !!!

My flight came in very early so I decided to stop by 352 Food & Drink for breakfast before I ventured out. I got the French toast and added on turkey bacon which was not good at all. The turkey bacon was cold and hard and I feel like since I was the first person there I got leftover from the day before. My waitress Theresa was great and very attentive and heated it up for me, but I should've been given another order since I can tell it was not fresh from that morning. The French toast was good with the fruit and whipped topping but is regular white sandwich bread. It was an ok place to stop by and what I had was not worth the $18.50 but maybe something else would've been more enjoyable for me to try.

Amazing best of all worlds. My wife had the best arepa and she in Venezuelan and I am happy because she is happy. If I could give her two of those arepas every day for the rest of my life we would never fight. I suggest the ranchero with black beans. We will see you tomorrow for breakfast!

My significant other ordered the french toast every time we ate here on our trip to Old San Juan about a week ago. The fresh fruit was superb! My favorite is the breakfast burrito with fresh avocado! They have lots of milk choices for your cafe, which is very important for those of us who are lactose intolerant. The decor and dinning room were also very appealing and comfortable as seen in the pictures below. Exceptional service/staff, food, and place!! I can't recommend it enough!

What a lovely spot for breakfast. Every single item we ordered was super tasty, hot and delicious. Staff was also very kind and quick to respond. Highly recommend. Try the chai latte with espresso, peach smoothie and ranchero with a side of bacon.

The Vegan Arepas had us return to this gem on our visit. So! Good! Subtle sophistication, exceptional service, and all-around charm. The Old Fashioned was strong in the BEST way, and we will be sure to return here on our next trip to Old San Juan. Go. Now!

I'm sorry I have to laugh because why did was the bill 100 dollars when it was 4 personal pizzas that looked like they were from chilis. First of all, you gotta park on the side which GOOD LUCK!! Next, we ordered 4 pizzas and 3 were "familiar" and 1 was a personal for my niece. The sizes must be adjectives for fun or pronouns because it was exactly the same size. It was a cheese pizza and the other was pepperoni. 2 other pizzas were green pepper, onions, and some type of meat and according to my family it was good but the price is ridiculous. I don't know if they milked and killed a cow they kept in the back, if the tomatoes are grown behind the no paper towel and soap restrooms, if the wheat is grown in between the dumpsters but it was absolutely baffling. Overall, the pizza was good I guess but it's just better to go to Kim's NY pizza or something to get a lot better food for half the price.

Great attention, tables clean as the bathroom. The galls need more soap and water. The pizza had good amount of toppings. Their family pizza will be the size of a large in any other pizzeria. Drink over price. Family of three one alcoholic drink . Simple appetizer, price $72$74.

Great service from the staff. Food was great and tasty. We chose the colliflower pizza, and it was delicious as well as the samplers. Might be a little bit pricey, but I did enjoy it.

Nice local spot with good food, drinks and live music. We ordered the stuffed egg rolls with churrasco and sweet plantain and it was delicious. We also had a few Medalla beers and their house specialty Mojito de Granada which was amazing. Will definitely visit again.

We had our worst brunch in PR here. The prices are absurd. My meat omelet was $23 on the menu ($25 when the bill came), and it looked like they threw some 4 day old leftover meat into a very poorly prepared omelet, topped with unmelted cheese, served with some terrible frozen tater tots. I could each brunch in the fanciest restaurant, in any big US city for less than this, while surrounded by actually nice atmosphere. This place is falling apart, with a weak attempt to improve decor. Spare yourself.

THE FLAN IS MY FAVORITE. Everything else was just ok. Shrimp and steak? so tiny portion. The rice was bland, but the view? amazing. Service was nice too, the beach was close by so we enjoyed our time!

First visit dine inside. Start with the “coconut mojitos” very good. They gave us a complimentary (on the house)lobster soup it was delicious. The rest of our orders and the service also was very good. In general we dine very well and Worth other visit.

Food is fantastic,service was fast, and i can say we will be visiting again,very soon. The flans are made here as well and do yourself a favor and try them,they are out of this world. Well located by the sea, got beautiful views. They got seats inside the restaurant and outside on the deck. Drinks are great and the service was excellent. The paella “a la garita” was salty and take too much time but everything else was great. Definitely i will come again and try other things (like the mofongo with octopus that they didn’t have this time).

This place has so much potential. The views are sensational! Really worth stopping. Some of the staff weren't friendly. Borderline impatient. But it's still worth visiting. The inside is huge and has this whole under the sea kinda theme. It's very appealing and has so much to look at. I took pictures of everything! Check it out 😃

La Garita is a restaurant that sits right next to the water where you can watch the sunset and waves. Inside it's very cozy with a nice romantic ambiance. The servers are very kind and accomodating, but are also aware of your children's needs, bringing them their food first. The best part is the food. It is a normal-sized portion meaning you will not leave hungry. It looks stunning when it is served and absolutely delicious when you taste it🤤. Recommend the COCONUT FLAN, it is to die for! Here you can see for yourselves, but you need to visit them! I will definitely be going back!! 😋

Small restaurant with homemade food. They didn't have seating inside when we visited for lunch on Saturday, so we sat outside. . Food was okay in general. The wings and taquitos were a bit too rough and hard. I really liked their surullitos.

Great place too eat, took ferry to the Bacardi tour and bumped into this place on our way back. Great choice by far! Prices are fair, food is outstanding, atmosphere was excellent. Highly recommend and staff is phenomenal.

I'm not a fan of loud music while eating, but if that's not an issue for you, I recommend this. Do be aware that if it starts raining, there's not much place to go. Aside from that, the pizza was really good, and the waitress was very kind and attentive.

Food is super great and tasty, although overpriced, still my wife and I were grateful they are open so late. Unfortunately, service is very lacking, they would welcome you and seat you and then leave you waiting at the table for more than 15 minutes (one would understand if the place was packed busy, but it was not, at all) you could see more than 10 tables open, granted it, that time was a factor, it was 11:15pm, but still... Our server had a good attitude but was not very attentive, he didn't even introduce himself so we didn't know his name and would dissappear for long moments... I get that prepping food takes time but it was too much. We order a medium pizza, an appetizer and 2 beverages and had to make it to go. Their lemonade is authentic and well balance; but with their frozen daiquiri not so much. Anyway, we hope they can better their service, cause the food is great and consistent.

I had such a lovely time with my family the customer service was amazing they treated me like apart of thier family and their hospitality is to be praised and let alone the food was absolutely tasty and hot!

Make sure to make a reservation. The service is very good, they were friendly and attentive. The food is sweet, I couldn’t figure out if it was the dough or the sauce but it wasn’t bad it just took me by surprise, and be ready you will have to wait a bit more than the usual for the food. We ordered appetizers and the came almost at the same time than the food. Also the Margaritas are really good.

Truly amazed, nice little place in an out of the way strip mall in Cataño. Very tasty pizza pie and good flavored mojitos. Tried a la Mia , balanced and tasty, plenty of toppings. The crust had a brushing of something sweet that offset the savory ingredients. Very tasty, definitely will come back and recommend. Even took a to go pie. Staff was friendly and attentive, definitely come down and try what they have to offer.

I really Liked Nana's pizza, but my wife not so much. While I agree that their pizza was more like a novelty oriented offering it was really good. We had the Tripleta pizza.

One of the absolute best gems of a spot you can find in this area. As a local, I suggest Casilda to tourists. Offers a quality, unique experience for affordable prices and staff are always attentive. After so many visits, I finally figured they deserved this review.

A true gem. You do not think of Catano for exceptional cuisine. Worth getting away from the norm and stumble across this one. Beautiful ambiance, courteous staff and exceptional food options as well as a great cocktails. You will not believe the sheer amount of options. 5 stars do not do them justice. If you are visiting San Juan, hop on the lancha or drive over, heck Uber, what ever you have to do. Don’t miss this one !

Our last night in Puerto Rico couldn’t have ended better! Rafael, our server, gave us an amazing experience and send-off. The food was delicious, the drinks were perfect, music was amazing and the service was absolutely outstanding. Cadilda was a beautiful spot with a great atmosphere — I 1000% recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Rico!

Delicious specially prepared food! Lots of amazing options. I got the ravioli with white sauce and it was amazing! Also loved the Alcapurria with white sauce and my husband loved the Gyro. And carrot cake. Can’t wait to return on our next trip to PR!

Every single thing was delicious!!!!!! The hostess was the mostess!!!! She went above and beyond and the chef was the best vegan cook I have ever met. The chef even had time to save a gang of baby kittens. She climbed the building, was a hero, and still made us great food. The best ending to my night!!! I was dancing and all!

Everything was exceptional on our visit. This place is 100% vegan. The waitress was extremely friendly and accommodating. We went on a Tuesday afternoon and there were only a few other people there. We got the La Chori Pizza, the quesadilla, and the gyro. The first two were our favorite by far. We also got one of each of their deserts and those didn’t disappoint. We would definitely visit again if we ever come back to Puerto Rico.

I've been a customer since 2015. Chef José is the best cook of vegan food, period. However, lately service has declined. My last two orders were incomplete, missing food items that I ordered, my mistake was trusting that everything was in the bag. Nonetheless, I highly recommend El Punto Vegano, the best vegan spot in the metro area, for sure.

Cannot recommend this restaurant enough! I ordered the croquettes, gyro, and mofongo, all of which were absolutely delicious. The gyro was very flavorful. One of my favorite vegetarian restaurants that I’ve tried.

This place is incredible! It doesn't look like much from the outside and the interior is very unassuming. The food is unreal! The personal attention from the kitchen is equally impressive. I had no expectations because, overall, the vegan options in Puerto Rico have been limited and lackluster, but this breaks the mold. The vegan pizza is the best I've had even in the states. The crust is innovative far beyond the trending cauliflower varieties. I was already full, but had to keep exploring. I operate but left without any lethargic aftermath. The food is that pure/ fresh. I will be a regular!

Fantastic place with a great music, free speedy Wi-Fi, large portions and super tasty food! The waitress is knowledgeable, kind and very nice-asked all our questions, knew all the ingredients. Definitely coming back!

Go eat here. It's the best Empanadillas I had in Puerto Rico. Tasty, large, and cheap this is a much better option if your touring Casa Bacardi. At El Gordo you can go get two empanadillas and drinks for about 10 bucks. Perfect for breakfast or lunch if your on that side of the bay. Cash only though,so bring a twenty it's worth it.

First time here. I didn't find anything outstanding. I ordered an empanadilla de pizza, my friend ordered a bistec and cheese, my mom ordered a beef one and my grandma ordered a chicken with lettuce and tomatoes. Everyone was satisfied with their orders. Everything was good but again nothing outstanding.

Fast, quick, and delicious service. You've gotta go early they're mostly a neighborhood spot for locals. Empanadillas of just about everything chicken, beef, pizza, and you can have them open it and add cheese or salad. Recommend adding both. Cheap too.

I recently tried Monsalvis because I was craving some good roasted chicken, and while the flavor was decent, I left feeling pretty disappointed with the portion sizes. I ordered the half chicken, expecting a decent meal—but what I got was just that: barely more than a quarter of a chicken. It felt more like a sampler than a full portion. I also ordered a full serving of yuca (cassava) to go, but what I received barely looked like half a portion. I get that portion sizes can vary, but when you're paying for a "full" serving, you expect to get what you paid for. If they improved the serving sizes to match the price point, I might give them another shot. Until then, it's hard to justify the value.

The taste of the fried platano is something I'll always cherish. The platano is molded into a cup, filled with some type of meat and topped with little pieces of bacon and the special Puerto Rican sauce (which I found out is just ketchup mixed with mayonnaise, but it's a very tasty sauce). We were happy.

I ordered uber eats and paid extra for extra stuff on my burger. When I got my food. It was just a normal burger. No extra cheese no extra pickles. I was super disappointed especially cuz I paid for those extras. Also the burger wasn't even that good. The meat was average and kinda hard. Would never order a burger from there again. Also what's the point in saying it's a burger with pernil and only add none. That sucked. BUT the loaded fries were super great. Very tasty.

There were 3 couples at my table & 6 of us ordered the $18 Chillo Frito (fish platter). After placing our order, I was told by the waitress that they ran out of the $18 fish and offered me the option of a $16 or $24 fish alternative. I choose the $16 fish and patiently waited as everyone else was served their meals including a couple who ordered after me that ordered and received the $18 fish platter. When I inquired as to why my food was still delayed I was then told that because my order had changed it was now a delay. At this point the wait was so long that the other members of my party were done with their meals. I asked for my order to be canceled but was told it would be right out. The manager put a rush on the order only when I asked for a refund. She insisted it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to fry the fish, however the entire wait time took over an hour! That is completely unacceptable, and for the price and quality of food, I can only suggest you take your hard earned money elsewhere!
