Come to this place before you are actually hungry. It was extremely slow coming out of the kitchen. The quality of the food was very good. The atmosphere was very nice, the views were great. Over an hour wait for chicken soup and a pulled pork sandwich is excessive.

This was worth the 45min drive!! Roberto was our server for party of 17 and it was a fantastic experience. This small town restaurant has it all! Everyone had a great experience and the food was really good. This place has locals and tourists eating there and they served the food really quickly. The calamari and fried fish appetizers were fried in a unique way. Please try the conch ceviche appetizer! They had WiFi, so kiddos were also happy while we waited for food. Will def return if we are in the area.

Went to Backyard Açaí with my husband who doesn’t like açaí. He left in love with it! I got a small peanut butter açaí and he got a tropical. Choose the peanut butter one if you’re looking for a sweet and savory. Go for the tropical if you want fresh and sweet. Both options however did not disappoint!!!

This place is worth coming to. I’d eat here all the time if I lived in Puerto Rico. 1) The taste is excellent and fresh 2) The presentation is very good 3) Everything was clean, and the menu has a good variety of options but not overwhelmingly so. It was just right. 4) The service was top rate, the owner and worker spoke English and Spanish, and went out of their way to answer a bunch of questions we had about Puerto Rico.

This place is by the beach. Nicely decorated with a surfer and body boarding theme. The dinning area is outdoors where you can enjoy the ocean breeze. Parking is readily available nearby.

The food is consistently fantastic, the staff are incredibly welcoming, but what truly sets this place apart is the breathtaking view. Stopped by Ohana on Playa Peñon Brusi—it’s one of those beach bars that just looks like a good time from the outside. Right on the water, breezy, casual, and inviting. Perfect setup for lunch with a view. We kicked things off the right way with a couple of ice-cold Medallas and an order of the chorizo cheese balls. Hands down, highlight of the visit. Crispy, cheesy, with just the right kick from the chorizo—those hit the spot. From there, things went downhill. We ordered the Mahi Mahi fish burger, and it had decent flavor, but it was dry. Like, "drink between bites" dry. We also had the chicken salad, and unfortunately, same story—the chicken breast was dry and tough, even after dousing it in two packets of dressing. At $53 before tip for a couple of drinks and two meals, it didn’t feel like we got our money’s worth. That said, if you're just hanging out on the beach, grabbing a few drinks and some apps, this place is worth the stop. The vibe is laid-back and fun, and the appetizers (at least what we tried) were solid. Just maybe steer clear of the full entrées unless they’ve tightened things up in the kitchen.

Nice place to visit and eat while enjoying a wonderful beachfront view. Recent visit June 2024 and service has fallen by the wayside. The wait for the food was exaggerated. The service on the drinks keep you thirsty due to the lack of service. This place only saving grace is the view. A shame but a golden opportunity for new management.

Drove an over an hour to eat here, well worth to us. Ordered the red snapper FRIED of course. The Christmas chicken parm was very good. And the Dorado I cant say cause of friend didn’t share😂

The cafe although small makes up for it in their attention, friendliness and savoriness of their food. We enjoyed a well crafted cappuccino made from locally sourced coffee beans and enjoyed an omelette and the sweet and savory breakfast option. The food was spot on and we enjoyed every bit of it. The barista and staff really made us feel welcomed and that made our breakfast even more pleasant.

Stopped here with my wife and our 5 month old on our way over to Isabella from San Juan on the first day of our trip. The food and service was amazing. They make you feel like family in there. The pricing is also very reasonable. We also ended up buying coffee grinds to go for the rest of our trip. Our waiter was very nice and patient with us as well. We later met the owner Alex and he was super friendly and nice (Sorry it took so long to write the review). We'll definitely stop back there next time we come to Puerto Rico! 5 stars!

We had the best experience in this coffee spot. The cappuccino and breakfast sandwiches were so savory and delicious. We loved it so much we stopped by once more before returning to Texas. We loved Flor Del Cafe! Coffee was beautiful and the food so good! I had the sweet and salty which was plenty for me and my 1 yr old. Definitely recommend 👌 Very friendly service!

First visit and definitely not the last. The hot cereals (oatmeal, cornmeal & creamy wheat) are prepared for you at the moment as you wish. They have a variety of topping to please to exquisite palate. Also, they have a varied menu and numerous options to combine what you prefer. Excellent service, very friendly and helpful. The coffee is excellent and the ambiance is family friendly.

I tried the food here, and the tostones tasted horrible. It was like they were covered and left in oil for days. I don't recommend it.

I wasn't greeted nor welcome when I entered the establishment, but that's its very common in the area. When i approached the counter i had to interrupt their gossip with my order. When i asked the "barista" not to boil my coffee, she never acknowledge my request and barely looked at me. If you are looking for a welcoming place drive 10 more minute to El Meson. Food quality its average.

Service staff had a horrible attitude and was rolling her eyes at us for two days in a row with a reason we greeted everyone when we came in and she just would not acknowledge or greet us back to be more specific the older lady at the counter

Good service but every evening the close the bathroom and say their no water.

Poor service, young inattentive employees that made me wait, let others infront of me and they were on their cell phones. Pork was dry and salty, beans were salty and food was cold. Coffee was made fast and cold and mediocre taste. Also, there is a sign that says lunch for $4 .69. I inquired and they said yes, that is correct. Once they served my food it was over $7.00. I inquired and they said that they use a weigh system. I have money so not a huge deal except that I could have gone somewhere else down the street paid a bit more but enjoyed my experience. The place looks nice inside though.

I would definitely recommend this spot. It’s a food truck, but it feels like a full restaurant experience. The cleanliness is impressive, especially for a food truck, and the freshness of the food stands out. The churrasco was insanely good, and the octopus salad with pana tostones (breadfruit) was incredibly fresh. The regular tostones were also 100% on point. A great find for delicious, well-prepared food in a casual. I have to give them a 5 star, based on the price point and in comparison with other food trucks.

Don't eat the mofongo! It gave my whole family a stomach ache, and that's what we all had. It wasn't what I was expecting and very overpriced for the amount of food per plate. Wouldn't recommend and will never return.

This place doesn't have restroom. Parking is small and prices are too high for a food truck. My food was ok, mofongo was too dry but the chicken in mushroom sauce was good

Best mofongo in town, period. Because the food here is so delicious, be prepared to wait. We went on a Sunday at 11:30am. Our order took a little over an hour. Once we had our food, we understood why people wait. Our mofongos were so delicious. I had the dorado fish mofongo and it was the best one so far. If you don’t want to wait so long, you can always call ahead and place your order.

Guys... PULL TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD! Homemade ice cream? Homemade taco meat?? Homemade tortillas??? It tastes great AND affordable???? Stop wasting time on the other spots and just come here. The carnitas taco cone is spectacular. I couldn't believe how flavorful and juicy the meat was. Coming from Arizona, I'm picky about Mexican and no one is scratching the spot for tacos. Owner of the shop makes everything on site and clearly with love, care, and flavor in mind. Price is just a perk! And for under $10 to have a FILLING taco and a scoop of handmade ice cream? You just can't beat it. Thank you for the satisfying experience, support local.

This place is AMAZING! The food is fresh and full of flavor! The fruit drinks are the perfect blend and not too sweet. The loaded nachos are in the picture. Tacos are large. Excellent customer service. Bilingual. Everything is made in house and fresh. Tortillas are 10/10!

Best stop I had in my 2 week trip! So glad I took the time to find them on my last day. I would have came more. Food was delicious, great price, good quality, nice serving size and great service. Loved vegan options too! The iced coffee was amazing, best I’ve had. The tacos were super tasty and had an off menu quesadilla that I would definitely come back for. A hidden gem of Puerto Rico and a must try. They have the best nachos we ever had,a variety of ice creams to choose from and all of them tasted so GOOD. Their ice creams were homemade and kids loved them. Johnathan was awesome and we loved the nice little chat with him.

If you want Puerto Rican frituras and you are near Camuy, this is the place for you! They have SO many options to choose from. I ordered shrimp asopao, 2bacalaitos, 1alcapuria, 1sorullito, 1empanada, 1 almohabana, 1 relleno de pana MY FAVORITE and a soda for 22$ EVERYTHING WAS FRESH! If they run-out they make more right away. It's like a hidden piñones right here in Camuy. It's only open Thursday through Sunday so be strategic 😊

The food is not heavaly grease. When one bites into stuff potatoe or any other hot paistre it is made so well, it's awesome. They have a variety of hot pastries.

On our way to Rincon, we got various seafood pastelillos, a pionono (stuffed plantain) and alcapurria. Everything was fresh and delicious. Worth the stop.

I'm not one to give three-star reviews unless someone has really earned it, and I have to say that this place did. We got three piña coladas, and two of them were virgin piña coladas for our kids. I could not tell the difference between the ones for my kids and the ones for me. That's pretty remarkable, because I hardly ever drink alcohol and I'm very sensitive to the flavor of it. I told the bartender and she just gave me an "oh well" look and said the adult one had alcohol in it. I have to say that the rice and beans were absolutely delicious though, but my experience with the drinks and service make me not want to go back.

This place has been here for over 20 years and still running. Good tasting pizzas and calzones. Then you go next door for a good selection of ice cream with the local flavors of your choice.

Went on a Sunday around 6:45 / 7pm. At that moment, there was no wait line and plenty of tables available. The cashier was super nice taking my order. The place has a great vibe, their prices are good and the place was clean. The food was delicious. Had taco of carnitas that were super delish 😋 The food is done at the moment you order it, it may take about 7 to 10 mins the wait. The place has one bathroom behind the food truck. Overall a great spot to have a quick eat.

I absolutely LOVE the 4 carnes personal pizza, although I've never gotten close to eat it in one sitting. The place is usually packed, so come ready to wait for a while. I should mention that, if you can, don't park near road #2, as it is dangerous. There are some parking spots behind the food trucks, so stay away from unnecessary danger. I've been here 2 times and plan to come again soon.

Great staff (they are super friendly and even let me 'customize' my burrito), great service, great food (My burrito was delicious! I had asked for sauteed onions and they tasted so yummy!), and the place is kept very clean. Will definitely visit again.

Was hoping for good pasta, but, sauce to fettuccine ratio was way off. Bread wasn't your typical Italian bread. The tacos on the other hand were okay, didn't have the corn soft tacos that I like.

Burger King has been one of the go to places when it comes to prepared foods. The restaurant is clean and the food is good. I prefer the whopper with fries and a vanilla shake. But there is a variety of other food and salads to choose from. I think they stay open late.

Shoutout to this Burger King for absolutely killing it lately — what a turnaround! I went through the drive-thru and honestly wasn’t expecting much… but WOW, was I surprised in the best way. First off, the team was in great spirits — super friendly, fast, and actually seemed to enjoy their day. That energy is rare in fast food drive-thrus, and it made my whole experience better from the jump. Now for the food… chef’s kiss. I got my nostalgic fave — the chicken nuggets — and YES, they taste exactly like I remember. Crispy, hot, and full of that classic BK flavor that hits the comfort-food spot just right. And the Whopper? A legend for a reason. But this one? It looked like the pictures. Seriously! Stacked right, juicy, fresh, and clearly made with care — not just slapped together. That’s the difference when people take pride in what they’re doing. Fast, friendly, and delicious — this drive-thru was on point. 👏 Big love to the crew working that shift. Super nice and clean very good service and remodeled

Went to the Hatillo restaurant and ordered 3 combos the cashier over charged me medium combos, I did not asked her to upgrade my combo,and she did not ask me if I want it to upgraded, she just automaticly did it, it was .80 cents per combo and it is not the .80 cents, it is that if they do that to every client they Have they are making a lot of extra money robbin their clients. That action is not legal, I woul never go again to that Burger King, not just for the money it is more the disrespect and action. I hope the administration does someting beacause the one who took my order was a manager.

Food is awesome but the wait is pretty lengthy...lengthy is putting it mildly. I ordered a seafood salad and fried plantains. Empanadilla de huyes. Wait for salad was over 1 hour and 35 minutes. There was no customers waiting to eat at tables but my group of 2. I believe they do mostly take out with ordering ahead. Overall food was great! Enough parking in the back of establishment. Great seafood and excellent breaded stake! Nice atmosphere, good prices and very friendly staff, the only thing is that everything is made at the moment so it takes close to 25 minutes the be served, but quality and freshness is great, other than that is a nice “Boricua family owned restaurant” that you will go back frequently.

Best Puerto Rican food hands down! I’m Puerto Rican, and it’s as good, if not better than, my Titi's food, who is arguably the best cook in my family. That says enough. That said, call and order in advance. It takes time to make, as it is a scratch kitchen, and everything is fresh on the spot. Even then, if you don't order in advance, it's worth the 45-minute wait. Trust me, try it, you won't regret it. The arroz con habichuelas was too die for, and bistec encebollado. Amazing!!

I always come here for the Best Mofongo with Carrucho. The food is prepared at the moment, so expect some time to be served. If you want fast service then go to a Fast Food. Here is fresh and delicious food prepared at the moment.

Our tour guide for the horse ride did an excellent job explaining the safety and protocol for riding the horses. He was very safe with me and my wife ensuring we would be able to navigate the horses back and forth to the beach and pathway. He even got off of his horse a few times to make sure my wife was okay and comfortable. There was another helper that was in the back to make sure the horses were in a straight line and in the right path. I am very happy with the tour guide, I forgot his name, but I included a video and he is in the very front of the line. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Highly recommend! Owner and staff were incredible! They did a wonderful job making sure everyone was comfortable on the horse and enjoying the tour. Food and service were excellent, perfect spot to hangout and snack after! Overall 10/10 place. Will be coming back!

This team was amazing with the services and their ability to keep first time riders at ease. Took their beach walk tour which was a good over 1 hour tour on horseback loved every minute with the views of the town within Camuy, the fields, the climb up and down mountainsides and onto the small cove beach. The team was very knowledgeable and ensure everyone in our group was fine and comfortable on the very well trained horses. Would definitely go back all the time and have a new found love for riding on horseback.

Great experience!!! The owner is very pleasant and his horses are so friendly and calm, I was so nervous and within 5 mins of them getting me on my horse it was gone will def return, cafe was great to have a drink after the ride as we were hot 🥵 put lots of sunscreen and wear a hat

Only went for food. The food was great, and the staff super friendly. I give a 5 star for that. But the flies...so so many flies from the stables...They really need to put fly traps.

Best place to ride. Took family there and we had good time riding through the woods and up the mountain then through the city streets and by the beach. Strongly recommend this place!!!!

We had a camper van and came here for the views. We highly recommend :) we woke up to the best view of the ocean from up high. We had access to a private beach. They also seem to have a mini cabin there as well if you want to stay that way. There were horses, Chickens, roosters around. A restaurant too, but we didn’t get to try it. We’d go there again just For the wonderful view

Me and my partner are from Bayamon and when travelling to visit family we stop by here. The donuts are fresh, delicious and their presentation is great. The customer service is always great!

Their doughnuts are better, way better than Krispy Kreme, Dunkin, or whomever ever gets in their way. Hands down the best doughnuts I've ever had. Their coffee is excellent as well.

Costumer Service is awesome to sum ir up. They take my 3 stars, the reaming would’ve been for the facilities, but they DONT let the employees turn on the a/c till 10:00am when they open at 8:00, not to mention they employees come in before that to work on the FRYER!!! with NO a/c! The only location anywhere from Aguadilla to Arecibo to be able to get Donuts are always fresh. Most popular is guava, guava-gueso, and pineapple. They also have lemon, creme, gueso, cinnamon rolls, boston creme, glazed and other assorted flavored glazed donuts. A dozen for $11 bucks but it's worth it. They also sell slushy slurpees, coffee, assorted carbonated beverages and limited selection of ice cream. Currently, patrons are not allowed to sit in this establishment; just order and go! Usually people hang out briefly to consume their sweets before going right back in to order & take home. This place is also next to an eatery Don Kike where if you go EARLY, you can dine in and nourish yourself with typical authentic Spanish dishes.

I visited PR last Holidays and finally I visited the restaurant. I’m Chef Edgardo’s fan. The restaurant is great and the food was great. My only complain is because it was holiday time, they were short of staff and the dinner took time to come out. They need to be prepared for situation like this. Everything else, was great. I got a good time there. The place is clean and the waiter was kind.

I went with a group from out of town. The place was closing, and they made an exception and took care of us. We ordered octopus salad, which was great with tostones. This place would be great for a chinchoreo stop. They have domino tables and pool tables 🎱. You can eat indoors or outdoors. Good size bar.

After looking around town for a bite to eat, I finally settled on La Gorra Del Pelotero and was not let down. I approached the restaurant’s owner knowing very little Spanish and was helped me through the menu. The cordial staff shared some of their favorite dishes and my party ended up ordering pechuga, a bacon-wrapped, mofongo-stuffed chicken breast, and a tripleta sandwich. While waiting, I spent time admiring the, what I’d call, authentic Puerto Rican ambiance. While it’s not the prettiest and most sanitary, it’s a great experience and the restaurant staff is willing to cater to any of your needs. Once the food arrived, I took a bite and was astounded by the perfectly-cooked juicy chicken breast, flavorful bacon, and soft mofongo. The tripleta was “one of the best bites of food I’ve ever had.” At the end, we got the bill and the total came to a crazy-low $16.25. For the amount of gourmet food we got, I can happily say that this is the place to go if you’re in town and hungry!

The hotel has been in operation for over 34 years and it needs an overhaul in the rooms being rented out. Our room the towel holder in the bathroom had rusted out and we know is because the exhaust fan can’t remove the steam from the shower. The tubs are beginning to rust over and the shower curtain is a nightmare, the water from the shower head drips onto the floor from one corner because the shower curtain isn’t wide enough doesn’t stay put even though it has magnets on each side. The mattress felt hot because they left the plastic on from when they bought it, which makes no sense because the mattress already has a cover over it made out of fabric. This is my island Puerto Rico and I am just giving here constructive criticism because there is room for improvement on these rooms. Overall the staff at the reception area of the hotel are courteous, always with a smile and helpful.

Room was outdated. No end table or night lamp. One little stained dining room chair. No hangers in closet. No hooks in bathroom to put your robe or clothe. No toothbrush holder in bathroom. No soap dish. Very dim lights. Plastic covers kept in mattresses which made it very hot and noisy.

The experience was great. There was a beautiful beach not too far away. They are very nice always hello have a nice evening clean anything that you need or any questions you have they can help you with the stores are right around the corner is across the street is a Sam Walmart, etc. etc.the only thing that I didn’t like was that the room did not have a microwave to heat up food, but other than that, everything else was great

Location is horrible!! You hear every noise from the highway. Between the roosters and the traffic be prepared to be up bright and early. The box spring had mildew and mold on it. I humbles myself to stay one out of the four nights we booked for. I didn't expect The Ritz but the place could've made sure there wasn't mold hazards. The room was clean but the furniture looked like it had been through numerous floods. If you're looking to go cheap and not worry about noise or breathing hazards, this is the place to go. I apologize for the negative review but I would've wanted warned before going to this place.

Hands down, one of the best pizza chains on the Island. They are a little bit expensive but if you pay attention to the specials you can walk away with quite a nice deal for yourself. I recommend you to try just regular cheese and chicken and fall in love with it.
