Great experience dining here. Beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean coupled with great service and super tasty seafood dishes. Everything we had was very delicious. Highly recommended to dine here!

This place did not live up to the hype. The view, atmosphere and staff were amazing. The food was reasonably priced but we were not impressed with the quality. We had 5 dishes. The kids menu items were just ok. The ceviche was a disappointment. We were hoping for some amazing ceviche given its proximity to the shore :).

I really love this place, good food, great service and amazing view! It is usually crowded on summer so you better go early, make a reservation or wait a few because it deserves it.

Came for lunch to celebrate our anniversary. I ordered the ceviche with the catch of the day. Hands down my favorite restaurant we’ve tried during our two week trip visiting family in Callao. Service was excellent and food came out quick. We loved the chicha morada and maracuya, as well. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful.

Very nice place to view the Pacific shore. It is a second floor place giving it a great view. The waitress we had was great even with our language barrier.

Excellent food, efficient service, and spectacular views in this nicely maintained corner of La Punta Callao. Bright, clean, simple decor allows the food and the views to be the star attractions. I highly recommend El Mirador to anyone who wants to know traditional Peruvian seafood at its best. Our group of four (Peruvians and Americans) shared an appetizer platter, a selection of causas, and a trio of tiraditoes. It made a generous meal that delighted all of us. The pisco sours were excellent too.

We stopped in on a very busy day, it is the Sommer months here and so there was a long line of people waiting to get in. We waited almost a half hour to be seated. The tables are much too close together - our neighbors kept on bumping into us and we couldn’t sit comfortably. We asked to put our order in immediately since we had had plenty of time to study the menu and it took the server five passes to finally stop and take our order. We asked for lemon juice for our chicha and never got it. The owners are extremely friendly, but also a little bit overboard with the schmooze. We just want to sit down and eat not have you tell us all the great things about yourself. Let the food and service in atmosphere speak for itself. The food was decent, I like that they don’t use any MSG and Source locally. We had the patacones with Honey, (it’s not honey. It’s like a sugar syrup ) and it’s the only time I’ve had bananas that were breaded, and deep-fried, but it was tasty in a different kind of way. The leche de Tigre was really refreshing as well. We also got the breaded fish, which was very fresh and cooked to perfection. My friend got the mixed chaufa with seafood and really enjoyed it. Plates are big here so you can share. We would probably go back at a less busy time and request to have a table with a little more space around it so we’re not bumping into others.

Eating at this well known establishment is an amazing experience. The owner greets every person passionately sharing cuisine secrets i.e. special ingredients in their chica, canchita and fruit to pair with food. Servings are a deliciously artistic, abundent and most sharable. Staff are friendly and at one's service inspite of being super busy. The seafood is fresh catch of the day and does not dissapoint. Every customer leaves with a smile, a souvenir graciously handed by the owner and a full belly.Definetly a 10 out of 10 in all areas requiring a visit when in Lima Peru!

The food is amazing, service and atmosphere are horrible. The menu doesn’t indicate it, but all plates are for 2 people. The waitress only mentioned this ten minutes after we ordered our food and mentioned we could not take out a plate from the order anymore. Essentially a waste of food as anyone would understand 5 people won’t finish 10 portions. For the atmosphere I want to mention that the air fans are located below the natural light, so you have a constant flicker on the wall. To some people this won’t be a problem, I get really disoriented from this. Not sure if they offer it, but I think take out is the only good option here.

At the new Lima airport, in the international departures hall, is La Bonbonniere. Beautiful ambiance! We did table service for breakfast. Very good omelet, not the best bread that came with it but overall very good. Avocado toast was also very good. The mint lemonade was excellent - wish I could have this everyday! Service was excellent for an airport restaurant. Would go again.

Surprisingly, really good. Usually eating at an airport restaurant is to expect the most mediocre food at inflated prices. This was not the case at La Bonbonniere. Took a chance since other restaurants nearby weren't that busy, but this one was hopping. Figured that might be a good sign. Short story...the food and service was excellent. I had Penne Sorrentino and my wife had Chicken with Fine Herbs. Both were delicious and freshly cooked (not a microwaved abomination like some airport eateries). Very satisfying. Noticed some other reviewers were put off by the price of the meals and that they were USD and not Soles. My Penne was $16 USD and the Chicken was $20 USD. This screams bargain to me. At JFK, LaGuardia, LAX, etc. you would pay 3 times as much for something half as good. Zero in the way of complaints here. Once again...the food was really good. Check the pics for the menu and you can also see the prices are very reasonable.

La Bonbonniere Restaurant, located inside the new Jorge Chavez International Airport, was the perfect choice for our last meal in the country. Even though it’s inside an airport, it doesn’t feel rushed or chaotic. Instead, it offered us a calm, welcoming environment to enjoy one last bite of the flavors we had fallen in love with during our travels. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at ease. We were greeted promptly, seated quickly, and never felt like just another set of passengers passing through. The service stood out as warm and attentive, which made the whole experience feel more like dining at a local restaurant than at an airport stop. For my meal, I went with a classic favorite—Lomo Saltado. This dish has always been one of my go-to choices, and La Bonbonniere did not disappoint. The beef was tender, the vegetables fresh, and the flavors carried that wonderful balance of savory, slightly sweet, and tangy that makes this dish so special. Paired with an ice-cold Inka Cola, it was exactly what I was hoping for. My mom ordered the Chicken Soup, and she couldn’t stop raving about it. She loved how comforting and flavorful it was, a perfect dish for travel. The food came out quickly, leaving us plenty of time to relax before heading over to the Sky Club. Overall, it was a perfect way to wrap up our time in Peru—a mix of great food, attentive service, and a reminder of why Peruvian cuisine leaves such a lasting impression.

Not sure why this place has low ratings as the staff is super nice and attentive. They have clearly marked gluten free and vegetarian options as well as Peruvian classic dishes and drinks. We loved watching the American Football games while we ate. Prices were reasonable for an airport and the food was delicious.

One of the best restaurants in Callao (esp. in La Punta.) Located right next to the marina club, the restaurant has decent view and offers outside tables where you could see the boats/yachts and a retired submarine. Nice atmosphere with cabin interior and boat plans. Waiters are very attentive and most of them speak basic English. This restaurant offers various seafood and most of them are pretty good. Highly recommend if you spend the morning in La Punta / Callao and looking for decent seafood. The price tag is relatively high but I believe it's worth it.

We really enjoyed our experience at Tanta. We ate here on two occasions, once for lunch and once for breakfast. We tried the corn and meat patty that tasted like a slightly sweet version of a cottage pie, the aji de gallina, and the acelga pie. All tasted wonderful. Time 5:10 am as I had approximately two hours before proceeding to customs and immigration for my international flight. I ordered a chicken sandwich and a coffee americano. Food was ok and a bit overpriced. For some unexplained reasons, they didn’t have any pizza on that day. So we had carpaccio and pasta. Carpaccio was good.
