Restaurant
Amanto - Comida Sagrada is a hidden gem in Ollantaytambo, offering exceptional Andean cuisine with a creative twist. The restaurant provides a lovely view of the town from its upstairs seating area and serves beautifully presented dishes such as Andean Shrimp, Trout, Cuy, and bomba chocolate. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall dining experience. With affordable prices and generous portions, this restaurant stands out for its outstanding value.
This restaurant is an absolute 5 stars! The place charmed me with its lovely interior, welcoming staff, and amazing food. The presentation of the dishes is on par with fancy restaurants: each dish comes with its own unique plate and decorative style. The taste is also top-notch—everything we tried was fantastic, bursting with rich flavor combinations. I highly recommend the Ceviche Tower (their signature dish). Its presentation was also quite creative! Improvement points: the service was a bit slow, we were waiting for our dessert for ages. Also, cinnamon cake we tried didn’t taste that special. But I still recommend this place, it’s awesome!
Olha B — Google review
Second night in a row. This first class restaurant in Ollantaytambo is a wonderful dining experience. We had lamb and Alpaca (never tried before). Everything was delicious. Liz’s service was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Dave M — Google review
This is a must try restaurant in Ollyantambo. For a small town, we didn’t think we would find such an impeccable meal. We actually came here for the second time to try other items on their menu. They do a fantastic job with combining flavours and their presentation. Price is reasonable as well.
Usman K — Google review
We had a wonderful experience at Amanto! To start with, the atmosphere is nice and cozy. The food is truly amazing, well-presented and with a lot of flavour. I recommend you trying the trout, you will not be disappointed. A special mention to Liz's service, thank you!
Camilla B — Google review
michelin star worthy food for 1/10th the price 🤯 portions are small but they are more than fairly priced and you will want to try the whole menu anyways! great cocktails too, especially the signature list. we got the amor prohibido to drink and the tiradito de aplaca and andean shrimp to eat. wish we could have tried more!
Kenna C — Google review
Loved everything about this place! The food, the aesthetic, the service. After eating at different places in Ollantaytambo for the past 2 weeks I can honestly say this restaurant takes first place I ordered the amanto salad and causa acevichada with chicha morada and everything was excellent, the flavor and presentation were a culinary experience. They also give you complimentary Andean potato’s before your meal. I’ll be back!!
Katia B — Google review
Stunning food presentation! Lovely ambience. Server was a really sweet lady (Flor). Location is convenient. The complementary appetizer was very flavorful but the main dishes we ordered did not meet the expectations that were set for us by all the other reviews.
Sonali N — Google review
My Main course was exceptional, I had the alpaca in pepper sauce, meat was flavourful and cooked perfect 10/10. My partner had the lamb and potato which was good not great. Very well priced, attentive service. Excellent alround

Restaurant
El Huacatay is a highly recommended restaurant in Peru, known for its delicious food and magical courtyard dining experience. The outdoor seating area is beautifully decorated, and the attentive servers ensure a delightful dining experience. The menu offers incredible dishes such as trout carpaccio, tuna tataki, and pesto pasta with trout. While the service may be a bit slow at times, it's worth stopping by before heading to Machu Picchu.
Tucked away inside the city is a vegetarian friendly restaurant with indoor, outdoor, & patio seating. It was laid back but each meal delivered in quality & creativeness. The service was super friendly & quick. Would love to try other things on the menu in a future visit!
Jasmine S — Google review
Andean cuisine cooking class with chef Pio Vasquez prior to our Machu Picchu trip proved to be a most memorable experience. Chef Pio is a bubbly personality obviously passionate about what he does. His food was easily the best meal we had in our weeklong sojourn in Peru.
Datuk C — Google review
The atmosphere and service were wonderful. I have mixed feeling about the food though. The complimentary bread with olives and chimichurri was great! As an app I ordered the crispy mushroom empanaditas which I enjoyed but the veggies at the bottom were salty so I couldn’t eat the cheese dip with it bc it was salty also (blue cheese). For main I ordered the vegetable curry which was just ok. They put in a lot of onions as a filler veggie. Why I have mixed feelings about this place was bc it gave me diarrhea :( and I have been eating at many different places around the sacred valley daily for over a month and had no issues.
Katia B — Google review
This place is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Urubamba. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a tranquil garden ambiance that set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The menu is a delightful fusion of traditional Peruvian flavors and international influences, executed with creativity and finesse.
LaAm — Google review
This restaurant is absolutely incredible! Aside from the food being amazingly delicious, I was completely floored by the setting. The restaurant is surrounded by gorgeous trees, creating the most beautiful and serene atmosphere. It was a seriously beautiful dining experience. I highly, highly recommend it.

Cozy place to eat. Great fast service. Reaching here through narrow lanes was fun. Food was tasty and well presented.

One of our best meals in Peru. Classics with a twist. The alpaca with a demi glaze and Mediterranean trout were amazing. Carlos, the waiter, provided some of the best service we’ve ever had. He even helped us get a tuk tuk back to our hotel. Lovely atmosphere on their patio, as well.

Peruvian restaurant
Restaurante Tunupa is a top dining spot in Peru, offering delightful and well-prepared buffet meals. The restaurant boasts a beautiful setting with stunning views of the mountains, river, and garden. Guests can enjoy live music while savoring their meals, creating a charming ambiance. The attentive and courteous staff further enhance the dining experience.
Such amazing food and service! They were gracious enough to seat us for lunch even though we arrived a couple minutes before they closed. Everyone was so welcoming and kind and the food was so delicious. They also allowed us to explore the grounds even after closing time.
Liz S — Google review
A stunning and beautiful restaurant, authentic to the place, please note that it is not in a prime location, you should consult a local guide.
יצחק ל — Google review
We came here in a Sacred Valley tour provided by Exploor, and we really enjoyed the meal here. In the buffet, the restaurant provided a great selection of appetizers and salad, 5-10 different types of hot dishes and some fruits and desserts, and all the food was pretty good. The ambience was also nice with a great view of the mountains / valley.
Y.C. W — Google review
The food was good with many options, and the atmosphere is incredible. But the service is not up to standard. They try to be an upscale place, yet do not include water. I asked for a to-go cup for my tea and they said they are only given for coffee. A bit ridiculous and takes from the place’s beauty.
Davier R — Google review
Best food in Peru! We enjoyed their lunch buffet, with beautiful live, relaxing music, in the most serene valley. Everything we ate was outstanding!
Jill D — Google review
A buffet lunch which gastronomic satisfying foods to choose! Drinks is not included on the $21 payment. Their is a souvenir shop infront sol alpaca(which is a known brand) which also makes it very convenient. They accept credit/debit cards and spacious parking is available. See images and vid for what it’s like
Nico S — Google review
Went to this restaurant at the New Year during Covid-19. The grounds were absolutely lovely-we were lucky enough to have perfect weather which made it all the more enjoyable. Because of the pandemic, it is no-longer buffet style and instead you are brought small helpings of many dishes. I won't say this is my favorite format but I think it worked quite well given the circumstance, we left very full. The variety of dishes was pleasant and I felt it to be one of my favorite culinary experiences while in Peru. Would recommend.
Ellen M — Google review
Honestly thought it was a tourist trap. A lot of tour guide appears to bring tourist here for food. However, food was surprising good and the small garden and stream is charming. Service is prompt. Tried a lot of dishes that I would have not otherwise tried. Do note that drinks are not included in the buffet.

Restaurant
During my recent trip to Urubamba, Peru, I had the pleasure of dining at Hawa Restaurant, located within a luxurious five-star hotel. The ambiance is simply stunning, featuring high ceilings and a cozy fireplace that creates an inviting atmosphere in this charming town. The menu is a delightful fusion of traditional Peruvian flavors with European influences.
Visited in August 2024. Perú. Urubamba. Hawa Restaurant, housed within a five-star hotel, boasts a truly breathtaking ambiance. The restaurant's high ceilings, fireplace, and bright, spacious dining room create an impressive setting that stands out in the quaint town of Urubamba. Food: The menu offers a blend of local Peruvian cuisine and a touch of European influence. We sampled a Caesar salad and several main courses, including grilled salmon, lamb ribs, and beef cheek with risotto. While all the dishes were tasty, they lacked that memorable quality that would make us crave a return visit. For instance, the chicken in the Caesar salad was dry, and the salmon was slightly overcooked, though still flavorful. My favorite dish was the lamb rack with mashed potatoes – the meat had a rich flavor and was tender and beautifully cooked. Overall, we enjoyed the food, but we expected more from an establishment of this caliber. Service: The waiters were fluent in English and provided attentive service akin to high-end restaurants. Everyone was incredibly friendly. Conclusion: This is a lovely restaurant, and it is undeniably the best in town. However, the prices reflect the luxurious setting of the five-star hotel, which are significantly higher than average for the city. You get a sophisticated atmosphere, excellent service, beautifully presented dishes, and good flavors, making it worth visiting. Especially if you are celebrating a special occasion.

One of the best meals I’ve had for many years. Superbly curated menu, expertly prepared, faultless and friendly service, and an amazing atmosphere in an elegantly designed interior.
Victor P — Google review
Great vibes, delicious trout and very tasty pisco sours! The appetizers are a bit large, so maybe better for sharing than for individuals. Our server Elvis went above and beyond in making sure we had a great dining experience.
Bob B — Google review
The gnocchi very good, melted in mouth and were very flavorful. The fettuccini a la huancaina with lomo saltado needed more cheese.
Fatima L — Google review
Stunning decor, loved the fire place. Overlooking a beautiful garden . Scrumptious food. Attentive staff. Impeccable service. Chill ambience . Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience for dinner.
Albero B — Google review
Many surprises upon the dining experience, which i did not expect. We only ordered two main courses. However, it turned out to be a full-on fine dining. We were served special bread, a smoke salmon bitesize starter. Then it comes the two main courses which were fascinating both visually and tastewise. We ordered beef cheek and lamb rack. Finally, they also gave us a collection of chocolate to choose from as dessert treat. Special thanks to our waiter Henry, who provided us with great service!
Thunder Z — Google review
A fantastic 7-course tasting menu costing 140 sols A great variety and selection of flavors and tastes of Peru. All cooked to perfection and looks very nice. Highly recommended to try out!

We enjoyed Hawa restaurant for our breakfasts and dinners while staying at the Tambo del Inka. The buffet breakfast is incredible and the fresh soups and salads were exactly what we needed for a light dinner while getting used to the altitude. Most of the produce is local or even coming from the hotel's own garden! The staff is so courteous and kind, we especially enjoyed Wilbert's and Edward's service!

Native Burgers & Salads is a charming and affordable restaurant in Cusco, Peru, offering farm-to-table Peruvian dishes. Tucked away near Plaza des Armas, it provides a welcoming atmosphere for casual lunches and dinners. Customers have praised the delicious burgers, including the alpaca burger, which was surprisingly tender and flavorful. The menu may be small but each dish is cooked to perfection. The simple yet fantastic food makes this place a gem worth visiting while in Cusco.
The host Charley was very pleasant and helpful. He was also the waiter. Small outside seating area and a bit larger inside area. We were seated straight away. A large local market mural brightens a large wall in the main dining area. Service time to food was adequate for freshly prepared food. All the dishes were served in low sided bowls. The four of us enjoyed our reasonably priced individual selections. I highly recommend the SIPAN BRASAS PERUANAS.

Native Cocina Peruana offers an outstanding dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish tasted incredibly fresh, thanks to their use of organic ingredients. Our server, Yudith T., was knowledgeable, attentive, and very helpful, making us feel truly welcomed and well taken care of. We left completely satisfied and impressed. I highly recommend this place — you won’t regret it!

This place was outstanding!! We enjoyed great, sustainable meals that were above and beyond. Presentation was wonderful and our service was wonderful. Yanet was amazing waitress who answered every single question and was super attentive. Yanet, thank you so much!!! The food was delicious and so carefully prepared; we had views of the kitchen from our table. The portions are quite big so come hungry. Overall, absolutely a great restaurant.

Judith was excellent. She was attentive, food was brought out quickly for 10 ppl, and the staff accommodated us when we kept adding ppl. Food was tasty, drinks were good, all in all, a great place to dine!

If you're staying in the sacred valley, don't pass up a chance to eat here. They have a total of 6 restaurants 2 in the Valley and 4 in Cusco. We ate at 4 of the 6 and all of them were unique and outstanding food and service.
Jeffrey P — Google review
The alpaca and the accompanying gnocchi were fantastic. However, the chicharron was super dry, which I do not recommend. The accompanying salad was delicious though. The area we were seated had spasmodic ceiling bulbs and that really dampened our dining experience.

Restaurant
Tres Keros is a highly recommended dining option in Urubamba, offering an exquisite ambiance and tasteful decor. The prices range around 30 soles for appetizers and pizzas, while entrees are priced between 40-55 soles. However, the quality of the food justifies these costs as one would easily pay double elsewhere for such a delightful meal. The trout is particularly recommended due to its freshness and impeccable cooking. For beverages, the passion fruit juice comes highly praised.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Our waiting John Pierre was exceptional. There is good variety on the menu and everything we tasted was excellent and beautifully presented! The dishes were approximately 40 to 50 soles each. I would highly recommend!

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. It was absolutely delicious and the owner was an amazing host. We spent about 50 soles a plate, and even though those are definitely touristy prices, the food was worth it!
Gwen H — Google review

Lasse M — Google review
A must visit if you are staying in Urubamba or dining in the area. The dining area is wonderful as it's perfectly lit with beautiful decor. Prices are around 30 (sols) for appetizers & pizzas (pizzas were not available for dinner however), and 40-55 for entrees but well worth it as I would pay twice as much for the same quality meal in the US. I recommend the trout - it was extremely fresh and cooked to perfection. For drinks, I recommend the passion fruit juice.
Eric Y — Google review
Very good experience. Food is excellent, service is great. A nice placento try.
Fred F — Google review
So we went there on advice from the hotel we stayed at. We weren't very hungry, but wanted to try it. We ordered a pizza and (1) coke zero.....58 soles later!!! The pizza wasn't anything to brag about either. Whoever says it's appropriately priced is nuts! We ate a pizza earlier in our trip at Pizzeria Quinua and its amazing! 38 soles for probably the best pizza and garlic bread I have ever had! Oh, and drinks too! Save your money!

For a very busy lunch stop on a bus tour the food at this buffet venue was surprisingly excellent. The choices and quality far exceeded all my expectations. It was packed with people but still easy to find a seat. After joining the long queue for food it was worth it to make selections from the soups, salads, pastas, meats, poultry and desserts. There was also live entertainment and a stunning view of the mountains along one side of the building.

Nestled in a charming side street just moments from the bustling main square, Kampu offers an extraordinary culinary journey that celebrates global flavors. This delightful eatery is the brainchild of Chef Eduardo, who artfully fuses Peruvian, African, Thai, Malaysian, and Indian cuisines into dishes that are both innovative and harmonious. Diners rave about his off-menu specials—each one a testament to his creativity and passion for food.
The service and food are both phenomenal at Kampu. The flavors are very unique and excellently paired. The portions are also very generous. We got the street fighter noodles and the house curry, both were great. The steak was incredibly tender in both dishes. I sent a message earlier in the day for a reservation, which they accommodated easily.
Bri M — Google review
We had a great experience at Kampu. The food is a fusion of Peruvian, Asian and South East Asian influences. The Chef and owner masterfully combines fresh, local ingredients to create some truly unique and delicious dishes. The menu has a nice selection of starters and main dishes and is just right. Three of our four dishes were outstanding and we were impressed. The fourth although excellent was a bit salty for our taste; however, that is subjective. The crispy eggplant sticks, seasoned perfectly and drizzled with honey were amazing. The shiitake and local mushrooms in a savory marinade topped with local grilled hen was over-the-top. The trout curry with coconut milk served with white rice was outstanding, and the Malaysian beef noodle dish was just about perfect except it was a bit salty for our taste. Overall, we thought the food was outstanding and very creative. The service was professional and fast; one of the best in the valley. Our server, Stephanie was excellent.

A hidden gem in Urubamba with creative fusion of Peruvian and South Asian cuisine. Really unique dishes with a creative blend of two sides of the world - the tastes of Peru, Thailand, India and so on. The chef is a guy who’s really been places and knows his job really well. Very inspiring guy. Do ask him for daily specials!

A MUST-VISIT Culinary Gem in Urubamba! This restaurant is easily the best dining experience we had in the Sacred Valley. The food is simply incredible—a stunning and bold fusion of Peruvian, Indian, and Thai flavors that works perfectly. Every dish we tried was fresh, vibrant, and clearly made with immense care. If you're looking for a break from typical tourist fare, this is the place to find inventive, world-class cooking. What makes this place truly special is the chef Eduardo. He is one of the kindest and most genuinely welcoming people you’ll ever meet. You can feel his love for cooking and his global travels in every plate he serves. He took the time to chat with us, sharing his passion and stories, which added such a personal touch to the whole evening. It's more than just a meal; it's an experience driven by warmth and culinary expertise. Stephanie was very kind and welcoming as well. Don't miss this spot!

Absolutely everything was amazing! Chef Eduardo is truly outstanding. This place is a hidden gem in Urubamba. We had a special dish that wasn’t on the menu — a shrimp and trout curry with coconut milk, freshly made that day. They cook different specials every day which makes each visit unique. I highly recommend this place — it’s honestly THE BEST dining experience I’ve ever had.

This was a true culinary experience, a meal I won't soon forget! This restaurant came highly recommended by the locals. The food was seriously amazing. It was a completely unique blend of Peruvian, African, Indian, Asian, and Thai flavors, unlike anything I've ever had before. Every dish was exquisite. I can confidently say this was the best meal of our entire trip. Absolutely loved it! Not only was the food incredible, but the entire experience went above and beyond when we had the pleasure of sitting with Chef Eduardo. He was so gracious, sharing his fascinating life stories and his incredible passion for cooking. He's traveled all over the world, and to eat his food and hear his journey was truly a privilege. It was a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Highly, highly recommend!

Stopped in on our way to the train and so glad we did. What an unbelievable meal! Everything was bursting with flavor. I couldn’t stop eating, although I was full! We had a vegetarian in the group and Chef Eduardo went out of his way to make her something special, which was fantastic. I had one of the specials rice noodles with a yellow curry and tenderloin one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The ownership is fantastic and Eduardo is a genius! Additionally, the fast and excellent service adds to the overall appeal of this small yet charming place. Live music is also occasionally featured for added entertainment during your visit.
As a local guide I can honestly say that the pizza here was incredible and vegetarian. Nice warm lighting and bar seating that overlooked the square. Five stars

I could not recommend this place less. The food was okay, I guess, byt not good. Our food was forgotten. Then when we paid the staff seemed angry we did not tip. It took two hours. Even to pay we had to stare at them for ten to fifteen minutes. Then were rude about not being tipped when tipping is not even expected or normal in Peru. I am amazed at the positive reviews. The staff were rude.

Nice little wood fire pizza place that has other options as well. The vegetable pizza was excellent. The grilled trout was also good , tasted fresh. One can sit outside looking at the plaza at street level as well as 2nd floor.

Nice location in the central square and you can sit out front or upstairs and overlook it. Staff were very friendly. The Lomo Saltado pizza (size medium) was AMAZING and had a really nice garlic sauce on the side that was a good addition

I already decided to give 5 stars here and leave a good review when i sit at the terrace on the 2nd floor as the view was amazing but pizza and lasagna were also great!! 뷰 너무 좋고 피자 맛있어요!

Stopped here for a casual dinner. I got a maracuya sour and my wife got a beer. We shared a pizza which was essentially a flatbread. It didn’t have much flavor but they gave us a garlic sauce with it that saved the whole meal. We may be too spoiled by good pizza being from New York

Best pizzas ever ! Loved the chicken pizza , lomo saltado pizza and the margarita ! The chicken diet soup and quinoa soup were pretty good too ! The pizzas came fresh out of their wood fired oven ! So fresh and tasty ! Highly recommend

Tierra Cocina Artesanal in Urubamba is a delightful culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. The ambiance is beautifully designed, creating a relaxing atmosphere perfect for enjoying their exceptional dishes. Guests rave about the extraordinary meals, including standout options like bone marrow appetizers and delicious trout ceviche. While some diners noted that timing could be improved with meal service, the overall quality of food shines through—especially the lasagna and local specialties like choclo casserole and ossobuco lasagna.
Upscale food in a super quaint restaurant. We had amazing beef bone marrow and chorizo, plus trout tartar to start with. Then alpaca and Argentinian steak, just amazing. Highly recommended.

Great great exceptional service! Please treat your waiter well as they do their best to please customers! All food great, ceviche, and octopus. Local steak was so so, a bit overcooked and in general maybe the wrong choice for this place. But team worked very hard so 5 stars

Best lasagna I've had in a long time. We went for a birthday and loved it. Drinks and food where very good. Highly recommend. At the end of the meal they brought out a cheese cake with happy birthday written on the plate and I didn't have to ask. Very cool

This was probably one of our best meals in the Sacred Valley - with bone marrow as the appetizer, choclo (corn and chicken casserole) and ossobuco lasagna. We walked into this spacious, relaxing dining space on a Wed night and were surprised to find that we were the only diners there.

We were excited to check out this highly rated restaurant in Urubamba. But, unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. The service was impeccable but the food was disappointing. To drink we ordered a couple of Pisco sours which were sure blended with ice. I think we would have liked them more if they were not blended. We ordered the ossobuco due to the great reviews but I found it far too salty to eat and was unable to eat even half of it. The lomo saltado was also a bit too salty. The best entree of the three was the beef short rib which was on the sweeter side. The grilled vegetables were also delicious.

Cute atmosphere with a homey elegant feel. Food is fresh and delicious. I ordered the avocado coleslaw with crispy shrimp and the salad to start. Main entree was the lasagna. DELICIOUS. Reservations are accepted. A must try!

Incredible food — one of our favourite meals of our trip. We stopped in for a late lunch. Trout ceviche and beef rib were our highlights. Presentation of everything was very nice and the service was great too. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nice lunch or dinner!

Wonderful place! :) Great food, amazing atmosphere, sooo beautiful inside. Some meals with meat extraordinary. Rice with mushrooms and vegetables; and fish just tasty. The only minus was we got 3 ordered warm meals at once for 2 people, so one was getting cold while we were eating. Overall great experience and I fully recommend to visit this restaurant! 😊

Qanela Restaurante is a delightful culinary gem that offers an authentic taste of local cuisine, perfect for those looking to escape the typical tourist traps. During my visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm hospitality extended to us as newcomers in town. The staff went above and beyond, even staying open later than usual to accommodate our dining experience.
Such excellent comida...pero... the wait was SO long. We tried to divide our check amongst our group- and the staff couldn’t do it with 20 minutes of explanations in Spanish AND exasperated English. All but two in our party received their food. And it was truly delicious. We all finished and then they finally brought out the last two meals—40 min later. The food is SO good. Ceviche trucha and the taquitos and the mashed potatoes. The staff needs more training.

Food was really good and staff really nice and helpful, even putting up with our bad Spanish. Aji de gallina was awesome as were the deep fried cheese rolls. Would definitely recommend

Cozy restaurant with great food and service and a fairly nice location. It can a little hard to find on the street as it doesn't stand out from the buildings around it.

This was a terrific place to eat my wife and I had a private meal here unintentionally but we just got in town and wanted to try a local restaurant with all the real common dishes apart from our tour group which goes to places that offer 4 or 5 options of semi authentic foods. They stayed open for us regardless our request that they close (go home and rest) and we return the next day. It was superb food and we couldn't have been better treated as foreigners. They didn't try to price gouge us or give us left overs. Everything was fresh and piping hot or cold as it should be with a freshly made meal.

Friendly wait staff. Helped us with our Spanish. Food was great. Lots of options from this red curry to chicken noodle soup to alpaca. A kids menu that included spaghetti and chicken nuggets. Our bill was 84/s for 2 meals a drink and a glass of wine.

Ate here while staying at the nearby resort Tambo Del Inka. Definitely one of the top meals from my time in Peru. I actually really enjoyed the atmosphere and service here but the food was a classic quantity, not quality. Every meat I got, which was all of them, was so bland with no seasoning or flavor. The BBQ pork was the only thing that I really enjoyed. The salad and sides were fine but also a little boring. The wait staff was very attentive and there is a ton of seating. On Friday night, I had a great time enjoying pizza and music before attending a cooking class at Pakakuna Restaurante. The experience began with an informative market tour, which provided valuable insights. Anilu, the host, was incredibly warm and welcoming, making sure everyone felt at home. Diego, the chef, demonstrated impressive skills and patience despite language barriers. His culinary creations were crafted with utmost care to preserve the flavors and freshness of each ingredient.
We had cooking lesson. Went on a school tour. Back end of June first of July. So much fun! Food was delicious. Sorry it took me so long to post this review. Well worth the experience. Trip of a lifetime. Thank you.

We stayed in Urubamba for a month and this restaurant had our favorite food, hands down. We also did a cooking class with Anilu and Diego and it was worth every penny. We learned so much about cooking and cutting techniques. Best ceviche and lomo saltado in the area! Their desserts are top notch and our kids loved the outdoor setting! Everything was so fresh and wonderful. Go see them. Seriously.

During my trip to Peru, I had the absolute pleasure of staying in Urubamba, just a short walk from one of the most unforgettable dining experiences I’ve ever had: Pakakuna Restaurante. My family and I (six of us in total) walked over one evening for dinner, not knowing we were about to discover a true culinary treasure. Pakakuna is a family-run restaurant built right in their backyard, and from the moment we stepped in, we could feel the warmth, care, and authenticity that defines this magical place. Each of us ordered different dishes and drinks, and though it took about 45 minutes for everything to arrive, that was part of the beauty..you could taste the freshness. This wasn’t fast food; this was real, homemade, soul-filled cooking. I’ve dined at many Michelin-starred restaurants, and Pakakuna absolutely holds its own. In fact, in many ways, it surpasses them. The ingredients are completely local—freshly caught fish from the nearby stream, produce straight from the region(and their garden), and flavors that capture the heart of Peruvian cuisine. It’s not flashy or pretentious. It’s calm, quiet, simple and absolutely perfect. If you’re in Urubamba or anywhere nearby, do not miss this place. I’m recommending it to everyone I know. Pakakuna is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience. One that I will never forget.

We absolutely loved this place right outside Urubamba. We took the cooking class here and had to come back, the grilled corn appetizer was so tasty and flavorful. The slow cooked beef and lomo saltado creamy pasta was excellent and the chocolate cake with caramel sauce was to die for. Also try their emollient drink! The atmosphere was so quaint and cozy, if you are in the area I highly recommend supporting this small family owned restaurant.

During my recent adventure in the Sacred Valley, I stumbled upon Pizza Wasi, a delightful gem that truly satisfied our pizza cravings after a long day of exploring. Traveling with a group of ten, we were eager for something different from hotel fare and decided to give this place a try based on local recommendations. Nestled in Moccopata, this spacious eatery boasts ample natural light and stunning views from its large windows, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The buffet offers an impressive variety of dishes that cater to different tastes, including vegetarian options like pasta, beans, rice, and fresh vegetables paired with zesty salsa.
As far as tour bus lunch stops go, this was a top notch one. As a vegetarian I found many options - pasta, beans, rice, veggies and a kickass spicy salsa freshly made. Very very satisfied. Nice staff and service with a smile

We went as part of tour group. The food was okay , we ordered quinoa with vegetables. The soup starter was nice but the quinoa dish was a bit salty. The desserts were good. The staff was really nice. The live music was fantastic
Sanjeeta P — Google review
I'll put this in the category of 'perfectly fine' as far as tourist stop buffet lunches are concerned. The food was plentiful, and most people can find a dish or two that makes them happy. The desserts are delicious here. The vibe is a bit like a cafeteria, but at least there is live music. Service (mostly for drink orders) was excellent, especially given that we were a large group.

Our tour dropped us here for lunch and it was probably the best one from all other lunches we had in other tours. Wise selection of salad and main dishes. Not the best quality but fairly good comparing to others.

This restaurant was a stop in Moccopata, Urubamba, included in one of my tours from Cusco. It was spacious restaurant, with great natural lighting and glass windows. A great backyard view, with a friendly black german shepherd. Food was okay. You can find some carbs, protein, and vegetables to eat and get some nutrients, to continue your journey.

We were here with the tour package that we booked. It’s a Buffett assorted with salads, a soup, a dish of beef and chicken , ceviche , and assorted deserts. Food is ok - nothing special , didn’t like any of their deserts ( sorry) if able choose a different place for lunch. Drinks were not included with our package and their chichamorada is good.

Organika was a great experience, the food was very delicious and creative, although the vegetarian lasagne was out of balance for the taste (for me) all the rest was very tasty! My favorite dish was the starter vegetable plate! It had different vegetables and creams and in total was in great harmony. We appreciated the creativity of the dishes, as it was something out of ordinary! The ambience and the service was excellent!
Regina N — Google review
Highly recommend this experience! The food was amazing and such high quality, the people were so friendly and welcoming, and they even took the time after my meal to show me around the gardens where they grow all their food. I rarely write reviews for restaurants, but this was such a great way to start my trip in Sacred Valley, especially as a solo traveler. I’d definitely bring people back if I’m in the area again!
Tyler J — Google review
What a superb experience at Organika La Huerta! We had a very warm welcome, followed by a very detailed explanation and tour of the vegetables, herbs and flowers grown here and used in the dishes and drinks prepared at the restaurant. The food itself was great, very healthy options with great taste. Special remarks to the trout dishes (both appetizer and entree), the hummus with vegetables, and the Alpaca. They are still polishing the cocktails of the house menu, but the Jora Sour was quite special, as its main component is distilled at the restaurant. We also had the chance to try 2 new options that they are making up and they were very nice! Special thanks to Sol, who gave us a magnificent service (thank you so much, Sol!). All in all, a fresh and highly recommended experience for visitors to the Sacred Valley.

Organika is pure magic.. from the moment you arrive, you feel the care and intention behind every detail. The food is vibrant, nourishing, and deeply satisfying you can taste the love and the land in every bite. We especially loved the way they incorporate fresh herbs and edible flowers from their own garden it’s not just a meal, it’s a sensory experience. The staff were kind and attentive, and the atmosphere felt both earthy and elevated. Whether you’re plant-based or not, there’s something here for everyone and everything feels aligned with the natural rhythms of this land. Truly one of the most beautiful and heartful meals we’ve had in Peru.

The experience was wonderful. We received a tour of the organic garden and kitchen and everything we ate was amazing. They made an extra effort to make a vegan dish for us, and my son said it was the best pizza he ever had. We will definitely visit another branch to check it out. Sol the waitress was lovely!
Michal F — Google review
Wow! What an incredible atmosphere and meal. The garden is right next to you where the food comes from, and the service is amazing. Our waitress Sol was attentive and very kind. The steak was honestly one of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend!!

When in Urubamba, you must visit Organika. We just happened to be staying in a hotel close-by and went in for lunch. What an amazing surprise. So, basically the food goes from the garden to your plate. Now, I have to start by saying that in my family we are not vegetarian, gluten-free, we don't belong to any of those cults 🤣 and we adore meat. However this place has some amazing dishes and they even make their own booze. We ate pizza with prosciutto and arugula, the burger, the pumpkin soups, and cheesecake for dessert. The drinks, that's another delicacy of this place, and you must try the pisco sour done with a local licor distilled from corn and home made. The service - above and beyond and some of the staff even spoke English. Our waiter was Lynette, who gave us a tour of the garden, the distillery and have us excellent recommendations. You must go here!!
Carmen G — Google review
Organika La Huerta was a highlight of our trip! We had the Lomo Saltado and homemade burger (likely reverse-seared) - both were incredibly flavorful. We enjoyed an herbal tea made with fresh herbs grown just outside the restaurant. The brownie dessert was outstanding - deep, raw cocoa flavor like nothing “commercial” we’ve had before. They even showed us their cacao-making process and let us taste the fresh cacao beans before roasting them right by their fireplace - unforgettable! Huge thanks also to Estefanie for the warm and professional service. And if you're missing your dog while traveling, the adorable house dog will steal your heart. A truly local experience – 100% recommended

If you're looking for a culinary gem in Peru, look no further than PUKA PUKARÁ - Sushi & Ceviche. This delightful restaurant offers an impressive array of dishes that will tantalize your taste buds. From the exquisite ceviche to the mouthwatering sushi rolls, including a standout trout roll with cream cheese and panko breadcrumbs, every bite is a celebration of flavor. The charming decor and warm hospitality from owner Diego create an inviting atmosphere that enhances your dining experience.
Food was excellent, tour guide recommended and brought us here. I definitely recommend it. If you don't like ceviche and lime's sourness, it's not for you. Loved it and loved trying the Inca chicha drink. Ordered the pork loin as well which came with quinoa and it was delicious. Their pesto spaghetti was also delicious. The ceviche combo deal with the fried rice and fried squid is a good deal, you can choose both sides or only one.

This restaurant is truly a fantastic experience. From the charming decor, to the warming hospitality of the owner Diego, and being completed by delicious and beautifully plated food. We had the chaufa, trout ceviche, and a sushi role. All were exceptional. Don't miss the chicha morada either. It is perfectly balanced of sweet and sour with a touch of spice. This would be a weekly establishment for me if I lived nearby.

Rolls had too sour rice, but it was okay. Slow service. We ordered right after table next to us, and had to wait until all their food is going to be ready. I even should ask for a beer, cause guy was so concentrated on the other table orders.. that's strange. Usually you cook food for both orders in the same time..

Best burger and fries in Peru for me. Beef patty cooked properly and juicy, proper homemade fries and fries weren’t soaked by oil. So the result is excellent. Music and the team are good too. I hope to visit another time.

This place was so good and had great service! The wings are amazing and the burgers are so flavorful!! We asked to have my fiancés burger lettuce wrapped and it came out so good! Restaurant Perú Buen Gusto is a modest establishment that caters to families, offering affordable dishes such as lomo saltado and tacu tacu lomo. The restaurant's prices are kept low thanks to the friendly husband and wife team who run it. While they only speak Spanish, customers can use Google Translate for assistance. The restaurant operates daily from 9am to 9pm, excluding Wednesdays.
This place is a hole in a wall place. Nothing fancy. Brought my family, including a 6 and 4 year old, and we all got filled with lomo saltado, $18 soles, and tacu tacu lomo $20 soles. They keep the prices down by having a husband and wife team, who are so friendly. They speak Spanish only so use your Google Translate if you need help. We had a great experience! We must have gone at an off time because we had the restaurant to ourselves. It's a beautiful space and the food was tasty - I especially enjoyed the bread and carrot butter they served at the beginning of the meal. The chocolate mousse we ordered had a strong chocolate flavor. Our server was also very helpful in getting us a taxi back to our hotel after the meal. We also had some time to admire the stars in the garden before we left.

I would absolutely not recommend eating here if you want good food. But if you want to sit in a gorgeous place and you don't care about the quality of the food, this place is for you. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and was very underwhelmed. The "pepperoni" was cut into little triangular pieces and tasted more like ham. They brought me complimentary "garlic bread" which was just the tiniest slices of bread with a garlic mayo on them. Seating is in the most beautiful courtyard, sectioned off for privacy, with each section having about 2-3 tables. Lots of greenery and climbing vines, and gorgeous rustic Andean decor. Absolutely gorgeous restaurant. Will definitely not be returning.

Sorry to write it because the restaurant has good climate and previous time it was really good, but recent experience leaves a big distaste. Firstly the waiter was clueless, he couldn't handle our order - so we had to change it. The quinoa salad we received was extremely salty and we were waiting for a tea for 20 minutes. We've finally resigned, but had to pay for salty dish anyway (but luckily not for the tea that we didn't receive). After taking to staff they agreed to return us 66% of dish's price. Perhaps it was a bad timing for a visit, but that's what happened.

Firstly, I have eaten at restaurants all over the world, and am very easy to please. Never have I left a one-star review until now. I was really excited to try this restaurant and made a reservation a few days in advance using WhatsApp. I successfully confirmed my 7PM reservation and even received two separate responses, with zero mention of a 1.5hr seating. As soon as we sat down and got comfortable, the manager came over and told us that there was another reservation for the same table at 8:30 PM, and that we had to leave by then. He was quite rude about it. My husband and I were really upset. Nowhere on their Instagram or in the WhatsApp communication was it mentioned that there was a time limit for our table. We had planned to enjoy appetizers and dessert, but instead, we just had a main and left. Don’t waste your money here. If I could make a suggestion—go to FORTY BISTRO (it’s right beside Biga). We went the night before and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, and the price for a really well-prepared beef tenderloin was actually cheaper than the pizza at Biga (beef tenderloin: 55 soles; Biga pizza: 58 soles). When we felt a bit chilly, the staff at Forty Bistro even lit a fire for us. It’s completely fine to set time limits on tables. However, guests/customers should be clearly informed about any time restrictions when making a reservation—not after they arrive at the restaurant

We felt like we were in Milan, with delicious pizza, the dough was airy and well seasoned, wonderfully balanced mushrooms with creamy buttery sauce, not overwhelming at all. The eggplant Parmesan was also the best I’ve had with a caramelization of the eggplant and cheese— fantastic. Two salads were so delicious- the romaine “Caesar-like” dressing, cut cherry tomatoes (so fresh), delicious mild shredded cheese. Wow! Another mixed greens salad had balsamic reduction dressing and nuts and prosciutto. Tiramisu— a must have with Cusco chocolate shavings atop a creamy classic dessert. How does one get such a world class meal in this delightful town? The kind owner and chef and waitress were awesome as well. Great ambiance too! They should be proud to have created a delectable destination in the sacred valley!

You can taste it in every bite. PS: I have been running expeditions and retreats in Peru for over 15 and this place is now a must in my schedule for clients to experience.

This is a beautiful cozy restaurant full of cool art. It has a nice patio/garden area where the cook took fresh munã for my tea. The food was great and the menu has variety of items. Karen was super friendly and always checked to make sure everything was ok. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely go again if I'm in the area.

I came to Peru for a college spring break trip. On the last night we went to dinner at Mamacha Juana in Urabamba. The food was amazing and the ambiance was perfect. The spot was a cute looking backyard fit with art, beautiful furniture and pottery and very kind owners. Felt as if I was invited to a friend's backyard cookout. Before the food arrived they brought bread, a wonderful spicy sauce and large maze flavored with cilantro. The dishes were spectacular with plates made of polished natural rock and wood. The dishes were garnished with colorful Peruvian flowers. I personally had the Aji De Gallina De Corral. Others in my group had different dishes and they all enjoyed there meals thoroughly. Another plus to this spot was it had the nicest bathroom of my whole trip. It had toilet paper already in there which is rare in Peru. The bathroom was clean and was decorated with fresh flowers. Absolutely a 10/10 and would recommended this spot if you are in Urabamba.

If you're looking for a delightful dining experience in Aguas Calientes, look no further than My Ancestros Restaurante Bufet Tradicional. This charming spot is perfect for groups, especially after an adventurous hike on the Inca Trail. The atmosphere is inviting, and the attention from staff like Andy adds a personal touch that makes you feel right at home. The menu features exquisite Andean cuisine with dishes meticulously crafted to please both the eyes and palate.
Lovely place on the main square, Andy the waiter and barman was incredibly nice and helpful. The food was great too, Andean cuisine with a nice personal touch of a very creative chef. Great drinks and cocktails too.

Great spot for group meals after hiking the Inca Trail. We finally get to try guinea pig. The fried skin is crispy and slightly salty. The taste and texture of the meat is close to that of a duck. We like it. The salad and stuffed pepper that came with the dish is very nice. We also had the Chicha Morada which was also very good. Free WiFi at the restaurant. Staff hinted at tips when paying. But staff was all along very helpful and friendly so we were happy to leave a small tip.

Nestled in a tranquil corner of the Sacred Valley, Sukha Sushi Bar & Ceviches Restaurante is a delightful culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. After a scenic tour arranged by Tangol, we stumbled upon this charming spot down a quaint dirt alleyway. The atmosphere is serene and inviting, perfect for enjoying their exquisite ceviche—especially the local trout version which comes highly recommended. Sukha offers an impressive array of dishes that showcase fresh ingredients bursting with flavor.
The food here is delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor. I highly recommend the Parmesan Sushi and the Causa Acevichada.

Had some of the most incredible ceviche here. The local trout version is absolutely recommended. It was quite a nice surprise as a restaurant connected to the hotel and arriving late on a weekday with nobody around...and the chef proceeded to whip up incredibly tasty and beautifully plated dishes. A bit on the pricier side by local standards, but worth it

We did a tour of the sacred valley and our tour company Tangol arranged for us to have lunch here. It was absolutely delicious! Shocked us how much we liked it. We both had salads to start. Husband had fried trout and I had the vegetable yasaitame. We cleaned our plates it was that good. It was kind of interesting walking down this dirt road/alley from the main road but once we arrived it was lovely, quiet and peaceful.

Nestled in a charming corner, Nidavellir Cafe is a delightful escape for anyone looking to enjoy a hearty meal away from the typical hotel dining experience. After spending two weeks exploring Peru, I stumbled upon this gem and was instantly captivated by its inviting atmosphere and welcoming owner. The menu features an array of pizzas that are not only delicious but also generously portioned at very reasonable prices.
The nearby is nowhere! And you can’t find a place to eat at all. Thanks this place to offer me the nice dinner! It tastes good!

A taste of home. The owner/operator was very welcoming. When we walked in he showed us their restaurant plus the private garden. The pizza tasted like home cooking watching them cookie in front of us was very warming.

We didn't want to eat at our hotel restaurant and could not be more pleased by our choice to dine at Nidavellir Cafe. Having been in Peru for two weeks and tried a few pizza places, this was easily our favorite. The prices are super reasonable and the portions HUGE! We ordered two family sizes, one veggie extravaganza and one meat lovers, both absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic and you can tell everything was super fresh. I loved it. If you're anywhere nearby during your stay in the Sacred Valley do not miss this place for dinner!! We even had leftovers they boxed up so we have some to go for food after long days. I couldn't recommend enough! Gracias for such a great dining experience!

Kachi Wasi, located in Urubamba, is renowned as one of the top dining establishments in the entire Cuzco region. Their menu offers a substantial variety of delectable dishes at an affordable price of 12 sols. The generous portion sizes are more than enough to satisfy any hungry individual. Not only is the food exceptional, but the service provided by their friendly staff is also commendable.
We got our food to go yesterday and it was delicious. We got the trucha ceviche, steak and pesto and steak and fries and salad. Everything was really good. Excellent service too. We had to wait maybe 15 minutes just because they were so busy but it was ok. The gentleman that took our order spoke pretty English too so that helped us out. I would totally dismiss that 1star review. Our experience completely different.

Absolutely loved our dinner here at Forty Bistro! We came as a group of four and were blown away by the quality of the food and cozy atmosphere. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor — the salad was vibrant, the chicken tender and juicy, and the burger absolutely hit the spot. The wine selection was on point too — the Intipalka Gran Reserva paired perfectly with our meal. The space has a charming, artistic vibe that made us feel right at home. A must-visit in Urubamba. Highly recommend!

Forty Bistro is a gem in Urubamba. Decor is inviting and cozy. But the best thing is the food. Everything we had was top notch. Put this restaurant in a major city in the US and it could get a Bib Gourmand easily. We will be back over and over again every time we make it to Urubamba.

A lowkey restaurant in Ollantaytambo. Unlike other nearby restaurants, this one is big so it is very likely to find a table here. Since the menu is small, you can really tell that everything they make is specialized because every dish was delicious. Portions were big (we shared 2 dishes between 2). The passion fruit soda was very nice and nothing similar to anything I have tried before. The best part was the cheesecake; I dare to say it is in my all-time top 3. The restaurant vibe was also amazing, I loved it here. I strongly recommend visiting this restaurant while in Ollantaytambo.

They advertise that they open at 5. I arrived a little after 5 and they said they open at 5:30. I waited in the lobby of the hotel until it was time but by then, the sun had set and it was dark. I wanted to see the sunset so that was a little disappointing. They were still setting up the patio when I got up there. The menu was very limited. They had an unlimited chicken wings deal but they said you had to clear your plate, salad, potatoes and wings, to order another round of wings. I just got one order of chicken wings. Don’t expect American style wings, they are just fried chicken wings and they serve a dipping sauce with them. The salad dressing was delicious but they literally gave me 4 pieces greens. Tiny salad! The potatoes were delicious and they gave an adequate serving. The mint lemonade was good. They spent the whole night trying to start the fire and never succeeded so needless to say it was quite cold. Great view, okay food, okay value.

Most people are dropped here for lunch during a guided tour for the valley. It's a "all you can eat buffet". But the buffet selection is very limited, the food is not good (dry and cold) and the portions are limited (only 1 dessert per person!!) Try to ask you're tour guide to drop you off for lunch somewhere else.

The average food is well. I gave this grade, because the proteins are restricted (it was ridiculous the amount of meat given to me) and it was told me that it would be a "all you can eat buffet" and they charged me 25 soles for it (I ate so much better for less). The waitresses seem to doubt the honesty of the clients (charge the beverages at the time we order, while we are eating, it's upseting).

La Bajadita Resto Burger is a delightful gem for burger enthusiasts, especially those seeking vegan options. The Pituca Veggie stands out as a top-notch vegetarian choice, bursting with flavor and freshness. Guests rave about the well-seasoned fries and an impressive array of over ten sauces to complement your meal. While some may find the portion of fries on the smaller side—an unusual detail given Peru's potato abundance—the overall experience is still fantastic.
Delicious veggie burger and good vibes. They have so many amazing sauces too
Claire S — Google review
The vegan burgers were delicious. Good size burger, too. They seasoned the fries very well better than most places. They also have a large selection of sauces at least 10 different choices. The reason they didn't get a 5 out of 5 is because the portion of fries that come with the burger is small. Peru has an abundance of potatoes, so no place in Peru should have a small portion of fries. That's my opinion, at least. It's a small place.

I have a burger with cold bread and warm meat ( not even hot ) 🥲🥲 I would not recommend it … the quality doesn’t match with its reviews and price … The staffs are nice. But foods needs improvement 😣 wasted 50 soles for a bad food experience

Best burgers in urubamba!! Defeneatly a MUST TRY for tourist. Great food and great atmosphere
Tomas A — Google review
Fantastic place was looking for chicken but nothing good was open I really did not want a burger in south america but this place is great burgers very fresh and tasty. Would highly recommend
Jason R — Google review
For me, the best thing that has this place are its sauces. They really know how to do them. I don't think they have the best wings but they are good compare to others in Urubamba. The fries are great. I personally didn't like the Urubambina? burger because it has "setas" similar to mushrooms but the flavor of them is strong. The Passion fruit juice is not good either. But they're open from lunch to 11, so that gives them some extra points.

MARIA MILANESA is a charming eatery with a warm and inviting ambiance. The menu features delightful dishes such as quinoa and smoked trout salad, as well as salchipapas that are sure to please all palates. In addition to the delicious food, the restaurant offers a selection of quality beers on tap. The friendly staff creates a welcoming atmosphere, making it feel like a family-friendly coffee shop where customers can enjoy games and books.
Maria's place has a really great atmosphere! Maria and her husband served us delicious and fresh food! Make sure to check out the cheap (s/25) and filling menu del dia.

The place is very decorated and very clean the service is nice. The big issue was the food which was no more than ok, maybe even a little bit less.. (I ate milanesa, french fries and salad)

We were in Urubamba because of the "Scammy tours" that bring you to visit the sacred valley. After the Pisac stop we bailed out because it was unbearable. And as an oasis in the desert we found this place. Renzo, the owner, is the best guy in the world. The food is very very good as well as the beers. After the lunch he let us watch the final of supercoppa italiana on a big screen and let us seat on a super comfy sofa. This place is perfect. Bail out the tour restaurants and come here!

La TNT - best burger I’ve had in ages! Great food here and family-run… wins all round.

Best milanesa ever, this family own restaurant is one of the best. 100% recommended.

Loved it. Great food, very reasonable price, and he’s such a great guy. Had a good chat about football and he gave me one of his Alianza Lima hats. If you’re in the Sacred Valley, this is the place to eat.

Loved the food and the ambience, but what made it amazing was the attention. We got a quinoa soup to help with soroche, and two sandwiches, and all were on point.

(Translated by Google) Good service but at the time of paying they tell you the amount in dollars but they charge you in soles, they should improve the collection process to avoid unnecessary inconvenience by having the option to pay in both soles and dollars since their exchange rate is very elevated compared to standard (Original) Buena atención pero al momento de pagar te dicen el monto en dólares pero te lo cobran en soles, deberían de mejorar el proceso de cobro para evitar malestares innecesarios teniendo la opción de pago tanto en soles como en dólares ya que su tipo de cambio es muy elevado en comparación al estándar

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Peru, Sol de Mayo is a delightful eatery that offers an authentic taste of local cuisine. Known for its generous portions, this restaurant serves up beautifully cooked chicken and flavorful lamb dishes that are sure to satisfy your appetite. The menu features a variety of traditional delicacies, including stuffed peppers, perfect for sharing with friends or family. While the food is undeniably delicious, it's worth noting that the service could use some improvement.
The lamb meat was very good, and their portions were very large. The size of a regular beer in this small mountain town is 1L.
Виктор — Google review
Our first stop into the soul of Peru. This eatery provided quite large servings of food which were seasoned really well. The chicken was cooked beautifully, the sauce delicious and the drinks a plenty. My wife and I struggled to get through one meal together but enjoyed picking at the many local delicacies on offer such as the stuffed pepper. As we landed that day at this altitude we found it difficult to settle into the size of the dish which meant we left a lot of food behind. The staff were kind and attentive. If we stayed longer this would have become our regular dining spot. The window provides an excellent view of the mountains beyond. Not a bad place for the cost, variety of food and beautiful setting.
Ben S — Google review
Surprisingly good local food at very reasonable prices. The Lomo Salgado was very good, as was the chicken milanese and the lamb
Joel B — Google review
Food is really good, however service could be better. If you desire to taste some local traditional dishes, this restaurant is a good option.

Dinner at this restaurant was part of an organized tour. I am very satisfied and full. A wide variety of dishes: soups, meat dishes, vegetarian, gluten-free, desserts. I thought the food would be like at a "public canteen" and I was positively surprised. The food was very good, varied flavors. The staff efficiently took care of dozens of people from several tours. And then there was the view of the entire Urubamba. I recommend to come and check it out
Piotrek S — Google review
It's an okay tourist restaurant tour operators drop us for lunch. Buffet at about 50 soles per person, drinks extra. The good thing is that you can try lots of food, and there's a great view. So no wait.
Chin H — Google review
Overpriced buffet with not so hot food.
William S — Google review
Food was tasteless. Got food poisoning here. Toilets were awful - no soap and no water. Better avoid this place.
Piotr L — Google review
The food itself is very average, made worse by the fact that it is cold. There are also no signs in front of the food to know what things are.
Alexander J — Google review
🌟 If I could give negative stars, I would. 🌟 Our tour guide enthusiastically dragged us here — and I wish I had turned right back around. The food? Uninspired, bland, and borderline tragic. It felt like the chef had beef with our taste buds. Imagine soggy buffet food pretending to be traditional Peruvian cuisine. Spoiler alert: it failed. But wait — the real plot twist? They charged 30 soles for this disaster of a meal and threw in a sneaky 1 sol extra for using a credit card on a cup of coffee that probably came from a sad tin can. Honestly, the only thing this place served hot was the audacity. Save your soles, your stomach, and your soul. You deserve better
Marco P — Google review
Food wasnt good at all. We just didnt had other options.
Armen M — Google review
Nice restaurant, good food, wide choice of vegan and non-vegan options. Various teas included in the buffet. It was included in our trip, only cold drinks are paid separately. They charge 1 sole per card transaction.
