Greek restaurant
Located in the Port Lucaya Marketplace, Zorba's Greek Restaurant is a popular spot known for its exceptional Greek cuisine and generous portions. The menu offers a mix of classic Bahamian dishes, American staples, and authentic Greek highlights like grape leaves stuffed with beef and perfectly grilled kebabs. Guests can choose between outdoor patio or indoor air-conditioned dining. The restaurant is praised for its friendly service, reasonable prices, and wide variety of options on the menu.
Wow great local food and greek food. I have been told its one of the better restaurants on the island and it is! Greek platter is amazing.
Ron ( — Google review
We are here for dinner inside and the service was great. Everyone was friendly and our server really made sure we were taken care of. The surf and turf I got veggies and a Greek salad instead of potatoes. The lobster was over cooked but the steak was on point. The chicken pasta was a great dish as well but would prefer no onions or peppers with a white sauce. Will certainly be back to try more of the menu.
Stephanie D — Google review
It's a family friendly eatery with great service along with awesome food. Can dine inside or outside.
Antonio S — Google review
We stumbled upon this restaurant while exploring with my kids while hubby was at the port fueling his boat. We ordered Zorba platter for $19 and my boys loved it! Also went to the cafe which was connected to the restaurant to order boba tea! Delicious!

The first breakfast in the Bahamas has got to be ZORBAS. If you drop by her the coconut french toast, absolutely amazing!! It’s in the middle of Port Lucaya Market Place and it’s always packed. 5 stars.
Roxy A — Google review
The food and service were amazing. I can't wait to get back to Freeport again and get more. Lamb was so tender. Gyro was amazing! Coconut Shrimp fried perfectly. Get there early on Sundays for the Oxtails because they will sell out FAST! It is a must that you stop here when visiting Freeport! Bring an empty stomach.
Uzziah B — Google review
The restaurant has great servers and great food. I had pancakes, eggs, bacon and French fries. My wife had eggs, bacon and french toast. Everything tasted really good.
Stephen P — Google review
This place is fairly priced for the area. Plenty of seating inside or outside in the shade. The menu has a large selection of authentic Greek items with a few non Greek options as well. There are some lunch sizes and dinner specials. There is a bakery attached that you need to get some treats at. If eating outside watch out for the pigeons.

Restaurant
Flying Fish GastroBar is a renowned dining spot driven by values like pride, passion, and community. Originally a high-end restaurant, it has evolved into a more casual eatery while maintaining its commitment to quality and comfort. Since its establishment in 2012, the restaurant has garnered several accolades including TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence Award and AAA/CAA 4 Diamond Rating. It aims to elevate the island as a global food destination, offering an exceptional culinary experience for visitors.
Located next to Pelican Bay. The food is really amazing. Varieties of food available. The ambiance also very good, nice to chill out. The staff is very friendly. You can sit outside if its not too windy, what a nice view and environment. For sure will come again.
Cairo A — Google review
We did not get a designated server and it took us nearly an hour to get our food. We had to ask random staff for water, drinks or refills as they passed our table which was right beside the door. The hostess who welcomed us in ended up taking our food and drink orders. No one greeted us to share the menu specials etc. I am torn about the food. Our kids loved the pasta and the burgers. We ordered our steaks well done. Look at the photo. The flavors were good otherwise, and the beers were cold. Finally, being able to see out the big windows is nice except when you can see the waiters chatting and laughing it up with a larger party for ten minutes while you wait for a hi,hello.
Ancilleno D — Google review
Amazing dining experience at Flying Fish GastroBar in Freeport! I came here after seeing all the great reviews and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The Spicy Lobster Bites were incredible truly a must-try! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully done. The staff were super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is perfect whether you’re here on vacation, with family, or planning a romantic date night on the water. It’s not your typical beach bar this spot is more elevated while still feeling relaxed and welcoming. If you’re in Freeport and want good vibes + delicious food by the water, this is definitely the place to impress your date.
Derien — Google review
Reserve a seat outside under the shade. They get a good breeze in the evening. Blackened grouper so good. If the main dinner doesn't have the coconut rice have them change it that. Best i have ever had
Ron ( — Google review
The chicken Spinach dip was the star of the show! I got a Swiss burger with truffle fries it was just ok. I also tasted the grilled calamari and it was pretty good
Kimeco C — Google review
We had an amazing dinner at Flying Fish GastroBar! For our appetizer, we tried the warm stone crab and lobster rangoon dip—so creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. For our mains, I had the local tuna, seared rare and beautifully tender, served with crispy polenta, brussels sprout Caesar, and sauce vierge (GF) – $42. My wife had the tempura lobster roll, nori-wrapped with four sauces and tobiko (GF) – $27. Both dishes were absolutely incredible and packed with flavor; I honestly couldn’t believe how good everything tasted. We also shared the Parmesan truffle fries ($10), which were perfectly crisp with just the right truffle aroma—an amazing twist on regular fries. With two drinks, our total came to about $170, and it was worth every penny. Excellent food, great atmosphere, and friendly service. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had on the island!
Chase L — Google review
Beautiful on the water..amazing service and interesting meal options. Drinks were very nice too. Outdoor seating. Different kind of crowd here. Very nice.
Hausa L — Google review
Phenomenal service topped with perfect steak, spinach dip appetizer and creme brulee. Drinks are on point and atmosphere is top tier. Very clean inside and out. Has a nice patio and air conditioned indoor dining. There is also a small bar with a TV. If you are in town or live here this is a must visit for a wonderful dinner right on the water/bay. Beautiful views with a few boats passing by. Luxury condos across the water and nice hotel next door.

Restaurant
Located at Taino Beach, Tony Macaroni's Conch Experience is a popular beachfront restaurant run by local personality Anthony "Tony Macaroni" Hanna. The weathered, thatch-roof shack offers mouthwatering roast conch and other seafood delights like conch salad, roast lobster, and shrimp. Guests can also enjoy Gully Wash cocktails while dining on the stilted deck overlooking the pristine sands and sea.
Tony Macaroni's has an amazing vibe, fantastic food (best hot sauce we have had in ages, which compliments conch well) and is in such a beautiful location! Tony is an incredible and welcoming host, the Jazz music on Sunday was wonderful and we will definitely be coming back!
Adrian K — Google review
Flavor of food was very tasteful. Opened 30m past advertised time. The server Ty went above and beyond. Well worth the wait.
Melissa L — Google review
What a fun hangout with a local band on Sundays. Tony is a cool guy and the conch salad was fresh and tasty! A great spot to meet people.
Roelien P — Google review
Tony’s is without a doubt my favorite spot in Grand Bahama. A for ABSOLUTELY AUTHENTIC! - Authentic food - Authentic service - Authentic atmosphere - Authentically DOG FRIENDLY Located right on Taino beach, the food here is as authentic and unique as it gets in Grand Bahama. The recipes are generational and nobody cooks quite like Tony Macaroni. Stop in for a drink and enjoy the beautiful beach and scenic views while Tony cooks up a roast, fritters and conch salad- all most tries at this little spot. Don’t forget about a gully wash!
Hass T — Google review
You wanna know the perfect chill spot on the beach is? Taino Beach, specifically? Where you don’t have to spend all ya money on a perfect bite to go with an ice cold Sands or a refreshing gully wash? Mannnn. Tony Macaroni is where you wanna be. I was checking out the sites and the scene down in Smith’s Point on a Wednesday afternoon around 12. The usual Wednesday hustle and bustle fish fry crowd isn’t crowding the streets and beach bars as of yet (too early) but you wait until the sun starts going down and it’s a different story. But back to this sweet spot known as Tony Macaroni’s Conch Experience. I was looking for some conch salad and decided to swing back around to the Taino Beach side and to my pleasant surprise, Tony was open. Once you walk down from the boardwalk and onto his establishment (masks are mandated so please don’t forget yours) you feel like you are stepping into a surreal movie set. You could even be James Bond with this vibe. The wood, the shack-very appropriately designed and decorated with conch shells and wooden shark fixtures welcomes you in. As if, you too can become one with the beach and the ocean. It’s the vibes for me. Classic Stevie Wonder and oldie r&b/soul tunes are playing at a moderate level. The sound of the ocean waves, never to be outdone, also accompany you as you sit in one of the benches. You FEEL like you’ve made it: by “it” I mean Nirvana. Surrounded by sand and sea. Kudos to the designer and decorator of this establishment because it brought me the beach bum vibe I was looking for. It’s just…very chill and very perfect. I came for the world renowned conch salad. I stayed for the gully wash and vibes. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to relax and soak it all in. This is the spot. And Tony is awesome. This space is awesome and my new fave beach spot. Oh yes, & lest I forget to mention: the conch salad is superb. It’s fresh. The ingredients fresh. You can taste the love and the expertise that went into preparing this salad. Hands down one of my faves. 10/10 recommended making Tony Macaroni one of your must see/must experience places in Freeport.
Smitty S — Google review
Awesome roasted conch. So mind blowing delicious. Great beer. Free conch shell with every order. Very nice beach and lookout there.
Shaun — Google review
Very hospitable. Tony's is a very cozy and warm place and it rubs off onto everyone so the place feels homey. I came with family on an afternoon and Tony was chatting my nephew and niece which is cool. And food is good too! I had Roast fish and conch-a-roni and those are delicious! I especially liked the roast fish. Tony's gullywash is also good. A bit strong but taste good! Tony Macaroni is a must visit when in Taino Beach.
Chris B — Google review
Have to say the conch burger was delicious and I wish we would’ve had the chance to try their homemade conch fritters but they were already sold out by the time in the evening that we got there. We loved the views, food, drinks, music. Can’t wait to come back here again!!

Italian restaurant
Nestled in the tropical paradise of Port Lucaya Marketplace, Cappuccino's Italian Ristorante offers a delightful escape into the world of authentic Italian cuisine. The restaurant is known for its excellent selection of pastas, salads, and wines, providing a taste of Italy in the Bahamas. The friendly and attentive staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, often remembering regular customers' orders.
Cappuccinos is such a wonderful, small, Italian restaurant in Lucaya, Grand Bahamas. If you’re looking for amazing food, - relatively cheap, considering the quality and variety of food - people, and general atmosphere, this is one hundred percent just the place. Me, my wife, and three children are now sitting - stuffed, with outstandingly flavorful and perfectly cooked food - with blankets for the kids, and a double espresso for myself. We cannot stop talking about how unbelievably delicious the meals were. The blankets were for when our kids walked in, shivering and cold. The owner of the restaurant is a Bahamian woman who is working there with her husband. She saw my kids come in cold, and immediately went to turn up the heat and grab the blankets for them. They are the nicest people, calling you ma’am and sir, and always extremely polite. If you are ever in the area, I would DEFINITELY recommend this restaurant with their astounding service, atmosphere, and food. Again, you one hundred percent have to come here.
Dara C — Google review
Wow wow wow. Amazing… just amazing, honestly one of the best Italian food I tasted. The service is above and beyond also. The food though, we were not disappointed in any of the dishes. Highly recommend
Suji S — Google review
It was an amazing first experience. The menu was exquisite. The service was top tier. Was served very quickly. Didn't feel like I was in Freeport! Will definitely return.
Megan K — Google review
We had an amazing time, and shout out to Mark for the outstanding service. The food was excellent. Started with the caprese salad, and shared 3 dishes, the special of the day - the pumpkin gnocchi, the Papparselle house specialty and the Filet Mignon al Pepe Verde. Can't decide which was better, all worth getting during your visit.
Hernando N — Google review
The food significantly improved this year with Chef Luca heading the kitchen. We can recommend the house special, gnocchi, and the tiramisu. Unfortunately, when we went to the restaurant their two high chairs were broken. We live in Freeport where most restaurants are not baby-friendly so we came with our stroller and a portable seat for our 9 month old son. However, it is worth mentioning that the door and the way the tables are set is not wheelchair friendly. So if you bring a person with limited mobility arrive before 7 or make a reservation so they can assist you.
Diana R — Google review
Extraordinary experience - we enjoyed original Italian food in Freeport. Great service, good food and nice restaurant in port lucaya . Take the early bird - selected pasta & wine for $ 14.99 from 5 pm to 6 pm. Wednesday closed !

Bar
Sabor Restaurant & Bar is a trendy Bahamian/Asian fusion restaurant situated on the outskirts of Port Lucaya. Adjacent to it is Bones Bar, where anglers gather for happy hour and refreshing cocktails. Right next door, the renowned Flying Fish offers a blend of local Bahamian and Caribbean flavors using locally sourced ingredients. Chef Tim Tibbits, with his culinary expertise, has garnered prestigious awards while his wife ensures an exceptional wine list.
Was in Freeport for a day on a cruise and after a few hours on the beach we stopped in Sabor for lunch. It was the BEST food we had all week and several days later still have not stopped talking about it! We had the cheese steak and lobster sandwich which was phenomenal. We also had the lobster and mango pasta which was so flavorful and delicious. Our friends had the Thai coconut curry seafood pan and also absolutely loved it!
Angie S — Google review
I am from South Florida ( this was my third visit and I ate here a dozen times or more ) and I laughed out loud when I was told that "the flying fish" was the best restaurant in the near area ( it blows ) Sabor is by far and away more diverse menu wise with much nicer people and great food. It’s outdoors so be prepared for that and you can feed fish over the rail. Get Steak and Rice/Bean wrap.
Thomas S — Google review
Excellent service, excellent food, excellent staff. Truly loved the food and the view especially as the sunset. I would definitely recommend to try.
D M — Google review
We went as a party of 10 including kids. It took about 30 minutes for drinks and water to come. We split the checks when we placed orders and about an hour after ordering, we were told they were out of pork chops, which we had ordered. We were told the replacement meal would come out right away, but it was the last to arrive after everyone had their food, and had eaten. No apologies from the staff, nothing comped and the bills took almost an hour to get sorted because they were all mixed up. We were out of drinks for quite a while in between getting them. One of the beers was hot when it arrived and our time there was about 2.5 hours. Since they didn’t have a kids menu, I ordered plain wings for my kids. It wasn’t specified that it would be considered a meal instead of an appetizers. Two other people ordered wings and got them as appetizers.
Christopher C — Google review
The view is incredible but the food too expensive and do not worth it, the service is even worst the food take an eternity to be served, I don't think will be back..
Jose D — Google review
Date night Well no one expects a Chilly night a island. Restaurant is outside, they had a heater. Service was quick. Food was delicious. We ordered 2 wings as apps because the last Restaurant took long with our main, but our main came fast. We had to carry home main dish. But there is always room for dessert, shared. Place gets very busy so come early. They have plenty of space, though.
Nique L — Google review
Great food the escargot was so good we ordered another 😋. The conch fritters had no meat in them though so we returned but everything else was excellent I had the grouper and highly recommended. My friend had the lobster which was really fresh.
Jake — Google review
Great restaurant located with in Pelican bay hotel. They have a smaller menu now but the choices are still very good. I’m not a beer drinker but my cousin recommend I try the Kalik beer. The bread was nice and warm. I ordered the pan seared grouper and it was amazing.

Tatianna L — Google review
Port Lucaya Marketplace. That's the spot for all kinds of goodies like this local gem: Pisces Now, as a Pisces Rising myself, I just wanna know who is responsible for not only naming the place Pisces, but, the INCREDIBLE pizza pie known as the King Neptune. I am loving all of this Astro homage! Ok. Back to the food and experience, lol. Given how covid19 is still the elephant in the room, we decided to call ahead and order a pie, as opposed to enjoying it at the restaurant. Employees were masked up and you aren't allowed in without one-another plus. The ordering process was seamless and I was told that my pie would be ready in 20 minutes for pick up. Got there and was directed to the pick up area by a friendly gentleman manning the bar. We got there around 6pm on a Friday evening and the sever assisted me promptly. I paid and less than 3 minutes later, he came out with a piping hot King Neptune pizza. Ok I gotta mention the delectable and very Neptunian ingredients that make up this particular pie: Native (& fresh) chunks of lobster meat A crab meat blend (imitation but still very good) Shrimp and some of the usual suspects: Onions, bell peppers, parm and a house sauce. If I could insert the chef's kiss gif right here, I would. The pizza was so good and so fresh tasting. We devoured that thing, lol. If you are a seafood lover, I definitely recommend the King Neptune. The flavours were perfectly balanced. They have all sorts of other menu items if you're not in the mood for pizza. They have full their menu posted on their Facebook Page if you want to check that out before hand. Kudos to whomever this Pisces (or fan of Pisces) is that founded Pisces in 1980! We, foodies and pizza lovers alike, are very grateful! ***UPDATE*** We ordered to go tonight and boy was that a smart move...Port Lucaya was packed! (back to the food) Since we know and love the King Neptune pizza (it’s our go to order), we decided to be adventurous and order a few non pizza items: Apps: Escargot: Delightful! It comes in a sauce that is perfect for dipping (good thing Pisces provides you with 2 rolls for just that 😎) the pieces were melt in your mouth, delectable and perfectly prepared. Entrees/Mains: Butter garlic lobster and shrimp linguine The dish was superb. Seasoned well, not drowning in sauce (which I love) but well coated in the garlic butter. The chunks of fresh, local lobster 🦞 made my heart skip a beat. The shrimp were above standard size and you get a couple of great bites in each piece. The Philly Cheesesteak: Ok. I must admit, having had some of thee best Philly’s in the States has spoiled me...& I keep a very strict Philly standard. So. I said all that to say that this is a great version, but not the classic. Hence, the sandwich is named after someone and I’m guessing that this is their version of it. Not bad, just not for me. The other person in this house absolutely enjoyed the sandwich. It comes with the standard: onions, shrooms, cheese, meat. We ended up adding some banana peppers and oil and vinegar to the sammy & it elevated the flavor profile even more. All in all, once again we are very satisfied with the food quality and the excellent service.
Smitty S — Google review
Probably the best deal in the market, you get more food than you get anywhere else. It all tasted great and it was a cozy place to share a meal! Will go back again!

Love this local spot! Sand floors so wear comfy shoes you don’t mind getting sandy. Hands down BEST COCONUT SHRIMP with a spicy plum sauce!! Smith's Point Fish Fry Home is a must-visit spot in Nassau, Bahamas. It offers a lively atmosphere with beachfront shacks serving up delicious fried seafood and conch fritters. The Wednesday night scene is like a neighborhood party, with live music and locals enjoying cold drinks like Kaliks and rum punch. The open-air setting provides a variety of stalls to choose from, making it an eventful place for families during the day and adults at night.
Wednesday night fish fry is great! Lots of food and dancing! We ended up coming back to the area because there is a conch salad stand named Carterboy conch stand. Best conch salad and crab salad with sea moss.

I’m a big fan of fresh fish, so this was a must do on my trip to the Bahamas. This location’s Fish Fry takes place every Wednesday evening. Our taxi driver, Ken was great giving tips and suggestions on where to eat. I wanted to give the locals the business instead of the tourist spot at the popular Outriggers. We stopped here first for the vibes. I choose this particular one behind Terry’s Conch Salad, beside the church. We ate a large size fish, with coleslaw and fried bread. We were happy to have had food and try something authentic. Many locals came to order and take out too. The prices are reasonable for a meal. The menu states 16 USD. The larger fish was 20 USD. The only complaint I had was that the customer service needs improvement.

What a great experience. Owner was super friendly and remember us when we came back a few days later. Awesome view. Get in line early for the food. They have options besides fish. All of it was 👍

This is a whole block of food and music. The island shows up on Wednesday nights. Best time 9 to midnight. The snapper is fresh and great. Ours came with pancakes which sounds strange but is amazing!
Jessica N — Google review
Lovely experience, just don't be in a hurry. The line forms before it opens and each order is customized so there is a wait to get your food. Have someone in your group go grab drinks (it is a separate line) and bring them and enjoy the beachfront view. Might I suggest the fried plantains, I usually get a double order of those! The fish is fried and served head on in typical Bahamian style. Once you start to eat fish this way you will realize the tastiest part is on on their back and around the head, americans filet fish and waste the best parts. Served with the obligatory peas and rice, it is well worth the money and your local taxi driver will bring you, show you where to go and wait or come back to get you. You can get ribs if you don't like fish. Best tip of all - Grab a container of Conch salad to take home and have later or for breakfast the next morning.

When on Grand Bahama Island, do not miss the tradition of the Wednesday night fish fry at Smith’s Point! Plenty of food and drink, plenty of taxis, hanging out, dancing, and having fun on a beautiful beach.
Anne D — Google review
Open atmosphere, with a variety of stalls to choose from. The fish fry is an eventful place to carry the kids in the day and in the night the adults come out the play. The alcohol beverages aren't expensive, the food is delightful, and you get to enjoy music overlooking the seashore. I believe the high peak days are Thursdays, but check with the locals to verify that if you prefer the crowd
Denzil G — Google review
The Wed. night fish fry was recommended by our taxi driver. It was a great local meeting for food, music and dance. We had food from the bar as well as lobster dinner from a vendor on the street. Both were excellent and a great value. A great atmosphere to meet people from around the globe, including locals.

Agave Lucaya is a popular dining spot in Pelican Bay Hotel, offering delicious meals and a friendly atmosphere. The restaurant serves a wide variety of dishes, including crab cakes, burritos, burgers, Caesar salads, and grilled salmon dinners. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful sunset at the nearby pier before heading to Agave for dinner. The restaurant also offers special deals on Tuesdays with their $2 Tuesdays promotion.
First 2 dollar tacos and margaritas on Tuesday nights is amazing. So I went back on Thursday and ordered nachos and a burger. Everything is 5/5 fantastic. Service was amazing. If you are in Lucaya, definitely go here. Darcel was A Fabulous waitress.
Phil C — Google review
The waiter was pleasant upon arrival and let us sit wherever we wanted. The drinks were average and they only have bottled water. We ordered the spinach dip and the chips were stale. Our entrees were stuffed chicken and under the sea pasta and presentation was beautiful. They were huge portions and really good. Overall I would visit again.
Stephanie D — Google review
Agave had a great vibe and friendly service, and the conch fritters were absolutely delicious — easily one of the best appetizers we’ve had on the island. Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor. Unfortunately, our main dishes took over 25 minutes to come out, which cut into our schedule since we had to catch the ferry back. We ended up taking our meals to go, and while everything was cooked well and tasted good, there wasn’t much variety in flavor. Each dish seemed to share the same general taste profile — tasty, but missing that standout “wow” factor. Still, the overall experience was pleasant, and the staff were kind and accommodating about us needing our food packed up. I’d definitely come back for drinks and appetizers — especially those conch fritters — but I’d plan for a longer stay next time.

Stopped by for dinner on 1st night in Grand Bahama Island. Locals ‘recommended’ giving it a try. In fairness, my husband and I are ‘foodies’ and this area isn’t known for great dining experience. That said: great location, colorful decor, quick service, good drinks. The food: however, eh, not so much. I got a pesto chicken sandwich with good flavor but chicken was extremely overcooked and ‘homemade’ chips were stale beyond edible . Husband got another sandwich and had no complaints but nothing outstanding. Our other family ordered salads which were also okay. There are many restaurants at this marketplace to choose from, check them out. Get a drink here and pass on food offerings.

Bahamas meets Tex - Mex Meals are very generous portions, enough to share. You won't get portions this large in the states at this type of restaurant. It's Latin/Bahamas/delicious. Flavors you don't really expect but they taste great. Always busy, but friendly service and great people. This is not your ordinary food. It's been amped up to make a unique Bahamas fusion. Highly recommend the lava bowel dish. Layers of flavor and enough meat to satisfy any appetite. Food is served very hot fresh from the grill. Photo shows one spring roll, only because the other got grabbed before I could get the picture. Two huge spring rolls, very good. Worth the wait.
Donald A — Google review
This time I took some pictures. Great place and the food is always good. The staff are very friendly. The first time we visited we took a ferry to come to Port Lucaya. We were told to try this place. The crab cakes were good, the spring rolls were good, everything we tried was good. I did not get the opportunity to take pictures. They have a happy hour too.
JT — Google review
The food and flavors were different than expected but were still very nice. The drinks were great definitely recommend the margaritas. The draw back to our visit was the service. The server was rude and seemed like we inconvenienced her by even being there. While I would go back to try the other food options I would definitely want a different server.
Robert H — Google review
The service was very slow( I think it was just our waiter). Food took forever although everyone else was getting there’s a lot faster. Pulled pork tacos were delicious. Crab cakes are just breaded, not one lump.

Daddy Brown's Conch Stand is a legendary spot in Freeport, Bahamas, known for its exceptional conch dishes. The small shack on the marina may seem humble, but the taste, value, and quality of the food are enormous. The conch salad is a must-try, featuring options for grilled or fried conch atop a bed of fresh greens. Additionally, their conch fritters are packed with an amazing amount of conch meat.
This was the best Conch I have tasted! Everything was made fresh. The food was excellent. I would recommend adding some of his pepper sauce to the Conch salad. If I ever come back to Freeport this is the first stop!
JuJu V — Google review
As a visitor, it was recommended by a local that we try this place while at the market. Purchased the special that came with fried conch, lobster, shrimp, fritters for $25. We replaced the conch with wings. Wings were ok but not with much flavor. All was pretty nice for the price and as a small snack for 2. The fritters were good.

Conch salad is a Bahamas. And Daddy Brown’s is serving up some of the best you will try. The sourness of the lime, the saltiness, and the super fresh seafood and veg are the ultimate combination. Excellent any time but even better when it’s hot. They also have other great fried foods to try. Go. You have to.

Cleveland's Beach Club is a great place to enjoy the beach and seafood. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere and serves delicious food. The lobster is especially excellent, but the menu also includes other dishes such as Bahamian chicken and beef burgers. In addition, Cleveland's Beach Club offers great drinks including Sands Pink beer which is refreshingly grapefruit-flavored. All in all, this is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a relaxing evening on the beach!
Fish is caught fresh daily and is incredible. If you’re from the states odds are you’ve never tasted anything like it. If the fish they catch is small, they give you two for the price of one, this place will NEVER skimp you on portions. The fish was my favorite but the ribs were excellent as well, would 100% recommend if you don’t like seafood. Owners are super friendly, hospitable and knowledgeable about the area. Location is beautiful, sometimes the pigs are a little loud but the beach is perfect.
Rex G — Google review
The Yellow snapper was delicious and ok value for $16. Not very filling. The cracked lobster tasted delicious but was way over priced @ $30 a lobster. They take American $ - after Canadian exchange this was the most money I have ever paid for lobster ever. My family enjoyed themselves, so it was worth it.
Ron F — Google review
Love this place. It’s a must to go any time I visit Freeport. Sometimes they host events so you have to catch them before that but we’ve never had a long wait. I also learned that they have pigs you can swim with.

Super nice place, with great beach view. The ribs and the baked patatoe tasted really good. Service was fast and friendly. We can highly recommend this place.
Enila S — Google review
After arriving to the island, our second order of business was food. We were staying right down the beach and decided to give the Cleveland's Beach Club a try. The outdoor deck was inviting so we settled into a table and were greeted by a very friendly local. We ordered local beers and cocktails and pondered the menu. The menu was short and sweet and we all found something we wanted to try. I was disappointed that they did not have any of the Special Rice that was listed. The drinks were ice cold and delicious. The food was another story. The french fries were some of the best I have ever had however the rest of the food was subpar. The conch fritters were overly bready and I am not sure there was any conch in them however they did taste good. The dipping sauce was amazing. The coconut shrimp were inedible. Seafood tip: If you see a shrimp that is grey do not eat it. They exchanged them for the chicken wings however we took them back with us and never got around to trying them. The lobster tails were ok but very tough and chewy however the flavor was nice and I don't mind tough lobster so it was ok to me. The fish fry was good but had no seasoning. The staff was extremely nice and we even had a cute dog stare at us for awhile. The place has a great beachy vibe so I highly recommend going for drinks and the breeze. Try the Pink Sands... best I ever had.

Nice-nice! Everything about this place is amazing. The interior décor pairs perfectly with the incredible views. The fabulous food will taste even better when you have one of their drinks. Our food magically appeared from friendly hands and smiling faces. We had a very large party on a windy evening and everyone had a great time. I think my favorite thing was how beautiful the restaurant was and how delicious the food tasted.

Perfect spot whether romantic date night or satisfying lunch beachfront. From the moment you walk in the elegant entrance until you depart full and happy, so much attention to detail. Staff are such warm and genuine people, food is impeccable and cocktails are fantastic. We missed Thanksgiving as were at sea on a sailboat. Our roast turkey meals with all the fixings was outstanding.

Pros: GOREGOUS. Incredible setting, great interior design, generous with the conk fritters in an order. Great food, great drinks. The swing is fun. If you’re picturing a Bahamian beach club, this is everything you’re picturing and more. Con: A challenging place to be a gay couple. While the owner was nothing but lovely and friendly to my wife and I, the staff would not acknowledge us. We hung out for around 5-6 hours and tried to interact with the staff 4-5 times for normal beach restaurant stuff: to order drinks, food, rent chairs, ask if it was okay to move an umbrella. Not a single staff person would acknowledge us when we spoke to them. Some actively walked away. I was scolded for walking across the patio with sandy shoes despite other people doing it and no signs saying not to? Again, the owner is a lovely, friendly guy. This is a beautiful restaurant and beach club. But this was the first place on the island where we were really confronted with the reality that the Bahamas is not a gay friendly place.

5-Star Review for The Stoned Crab - Freeport, Bahamas 🌴🍽️ Beachfront Bliss at The Stoned Crab! 🍽️🌴 What an incredible find during our Labor Day getaway in Freeport! The Stoned Crab is a true hidden gem right on the stunning Taino Beach – the kind of place where you can dine with your toes in the sand and the turquoise ocean just steps away. We arrived for lunch and were immediately swept away by the relaxed, tropical vibe: open-air seating under thatched roofs, gentle sea breezes, and a menu bursting with fresh Bahamian seafood The Owner Ben, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel like locals on our first visit. THE grilled mahi mahi, and oh my – it was perfection! The mahi was perfectly seared with a light, zesty seasoning that highlighted its fresh, flaky texture without overpowering it. It came with a side of grilled veggies and those amazing potato wedges everyone raves about – crispy, herby, and so flavorful. Portions were generous – fantastic value for such high-quality, fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is unbeatable: live ocean views, free beach WiFi, and even the option to rent loungers for post-meal relaxation. Whether you’re on a cruise stop or a longer vacation, this spot elevates any trip with its European flair meets island charm. We’ve eaten at plenty of beachside spots, but The Stoned Crab stands out for its fresh seafood and heartfelt service. Can’t wait to return – highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Bahamian flavors by the sea! 🇧🇸🐟 Photos & Videos Attached:

This place was delicious, beautiful, quiet, scenic, everything you would want in a beach-front restaurant. We opted to go here as our Margaritaville cruise excursion and had a great time on the beach beforehand, followed by an amazing brunch at this restaurant. The hut next door was also open earlier and had $5 drinks to relax before we arrived. Such a great day. The drinks and food were all wonderful. Tuna tartare, coconut shrimp, conch fritters, all delicious.

We couldn't have picked a better Anniversary dinner! The food, ambiance, and service was all top notch👌🏼 We started out with the conch fritters YUM 😋 Then I had the seafood fettuccine and my wife had the crab and shrimp stuffed shells. This was the best food that I had, had on my trip to the city of Freeport. My husband and I were well taken care of by our waitress. We both agreed the wings were fantastic. Decadent pastries and desserts. All delicious!! We got the eclair, Neapolitan, a donut, and a strawberry crème cheese danish. My absolute favorite was the Neapolitan. The eclair is very very rich. And the strawberry danish is best heated up for about 20 seconds. Definite must if you want a sweet treat!!

Only had one coffee here but it was very good stuff. This review is more for the pastries and desserts though. This stuff is delicious!!! Over a couple week period I tried a variety of the desserts here. Cheesecakes, tarts, mousse, cookies, danishes….. And WOW. They know what they are doing here. I wish I lived in the area and I could come here more often. 5/5 for Zorbas. Haven’t been to the restaurant, but I can vouch for the cafe and pastry side of things.

Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night around 8:30. Zorba's was busy, they had a couple of big parties and the outside dining was about 75%full. There were two of us. The server was very friendly and helpful. My aunt had a chicken gyro with fries and I had a combo dish. The food came out in a timely manner and was really delicious. I would say the most memorable part was dessert. We had a local delicacy called Guava Duff. It was super good and fresh. I later learned that there is also a full service bakery on site. They knocked it out of the park with this one!! I would highly recommend coming here for dinner. They also have some local Bahamian faire peppered all throughout the menu.

Delivery driver did not know how to do their job. Workers were very rude and were calling constantly making the costumer do their job of finding the address. Their phone was not working to call the actual person we wanted it to call so it called us instead and we weren’t happy about that. We told them to call the other number because they would help better with directions. A delivery driver is supposed to know how to find an address, but this delivery driver obviously didn’t. They kept calling us trying to find the address. They could’ve used google maps. They asked what colour the building was like they couldn’t read the address sign. This means that maybe the deliver driving is blind and maybe they shouldn’t be driving. The workers asking the questions over the phone were extremely rude. It was the first time here for us so we weren’t very helpful with directions. If their phone worked and they called the person’s number that was good with directions in our group they wouldn’t have had this problem. They talked bad about us to other coworkers when we were still on the phone. My sister is pregnant and they were extremely rude to her and made her cry. I answered the next time they called and I explained that the phone number we gave them to help with directions is working and they said we weren’t answer. There’s something wrong with the phone on their end. They were extremely rude to me when I said that and were laughing and said “oh lord Jesus”

Takes forever to answer the phone…..After finally taking the order almost 2 hours waiting no delivery. Tried calling no answer……finally got through the pizza was marked as carry out and not delivery….The worker who answered the phone was very RUDE ….like I was begging for the pizza instead of spending my money…..CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS TO IMPROVE !!!!

I ordered pizza for my mother and the lady who answered the phone was very rude. I’m pregnant and she made me cry with how rude she was, also talking about me to the other workers while I was on the phone and could hear everything. Told them the address but asked for the color of the building, clearly don’t know where the work or the area. Never recommend eating or ordering food from here.

Ask for thin crust. They do a great job with that. Best takeout on the Island.

The BEST PIZZA in Grand Bahama. I have never had a bad pizza. Hands down. Parking spaces are small so call I advise you to call in your order. The manager and staff are very attentive and nice.

Pizza was really good .. I ask for it to be made a special way .. thin crust pepperoni with onions & bread stick seasoning on top.. they forgot to add the seasoning once the pizza was done.. other then that the service & food was really good.. Parking is available right front & they have comfy bench to sit on while you wait but this isn't a dine in pizza hut.. Handicap accessible which is good for those whom might need it.. I went around 8pm on a Thursday night & they were empty .. wait time was around 15min for 2 medium pizzas.. delivery is available..
Flashy L — Google review
There was a wait but the staff made up for it by having us fill out their survey for a chance to win free groceries. The thin crust was far better than I had expected
Cara D — Google review
I give them a 5 star just simply based on their customer service alone. They call before they leave when they are close and when they arrive and makes sure you get your food.

The food was delicious and authentic. I loved the staff they were friendly. The food was fresh and hot made to order.

The jerk chicken sold here is not jerk chicken. It's soggy fried chicken with vinegar and store bought jerk sauce on it. It's also overpriced for what you get.

Not pleasant customer experience while you had a pop up in Bimini. The lady with glasses continue to look pass me after I been standing there for 5minutes. No one ask if I wanted to place. Hope your service improves one day.

I was visiting the island, looked up sushi and this place came up in my search. Because of the great reviews I decided to give this place a try.I was really excited to try the sushi. Its a very nice place. Loved the aesthetic. The staff wasn't really friendly. Anyway, I ordered the sushi (it wasn't much options at the time because the lady told me that they was waiting on some supplies, which is understandable). I still ordered what was available. The order took forever. It took so long that a family member who was with me had to literally go back inside and ask about the order. The rice on the sushi was hard and the taste was bland. I think this was some of the worst sushi I've ever had. The cafe area was fine. I got a lemonade and it was okay I guess. I really dont like to write bad reviews because I know all places might have a bad day here and there. I write this review in hopes that it can help the business to work towards being better.

Friendly staff at the coffee section, great ambience and artwork. The Sushi bar is a godsend on our little island. Best to put your order in by phone as the wait can be a little long for the sushi. They do BOGHO on Tuesdays. My favorite part is the Seafood market. Such a great choice of seafood and the prices are excellent compared to other stores on Island.

Awesome establishment. The customer service excelled anything I would have expected. From door to coffee counter and exit, the entire staff were amazing. Coffee was soooooo good. Had 2 cafe mochas. One hot, one cold. Cant decide which I liked best. Way to go seaport!

Firstly, the atmosphere was clean and inviting. The staff was so helpful. Greeted and welcomed by management was warm and sincere. Lastly, the food was amazing 🤩 This was the perfect place for my husband & I first date. Blessings

After an abrupt welcome into the restaurant to quickly sanitize my hands while fumbling to put my cell phone and car keys away really gave me bad vibes. As soon as I asked if they offered any salad I was told know even though itnis featured on their Facebook page. I called ahead but their phone number was not working. I quickly looked up Merport Bistro and went there to order a delicious Cobb Salad. This establishment will not be getting any business from me. Not worth it.
