1Markham Park & Target Range

Park
Markham Park & Target Range is a sprawling 666-acre park in Sunrise, FL offering an array of outdoor activities. Visitors can enjoy 11 miles of bike trails, a model airplane field, and lakes for jet skiing. The park also features an outdoor rifle and pistol range, campgrounds, a radio controlled airplane field, Barkham Park dog area, jogging trails, fishing and boating spots, sports fields, nature programs and trails.
I usually go to Markham Park to walk around and to play on their 18-hole disc golf course. The cost is free on weekdays and 2 dollars per person on weekends. The park is well-maintained, has good nature views if you like strolling around, and many spots where you can picnic and barbecue. I know they have playgrounds, rv camping, dog park, shooting range, and mountain bike trail. If you want to host an event, there are corporate shelters. Lastly, I saw for myself the rc airplane fields, tennis courts, and volleyball courts, but NO basketball courts.

This place is so relaxing. I come on Monday-Friday because its free, and I'm cheap. There is a dog park, 1 for little poopie heads, 1 for large poopie heads. You can smoke a spliff and walk around the whole park, about 3.5 miles. I like to come here, eat lunch & sunbathe, then smoke a Raw Cone and fly my drone. Been coming here 15 years, everyone is very nice. Theres a gun range if your into that stuff. And a lake where I like to get high and watch Jet Skis do crazy jet ski things! Even though I generally dont like to be around people as it raises my anxiety, everyone here has always been very warm and friendly. Oh, and there is an area for off road biking, and an exercise area with machines. And the ground keepers do a great job keeping everything safe and clean. Great use of tax dollars right here my people!

I cannot get over how well Broward country maintains its public parks. I was in the area for a week of vacation and spent a lot of time in the different parks. This one had the most varied options for things to do. Will definitely come back.

Lovely park lots of things to do. We visit for the RC .

Nice park, very big. We went on the nature walk (we didnt go on the one that was paved), it was very narrow and muddy and overgrown. The side trails were so overgrown that we couldn't access them. So it was very short, like 3 min of trail. We got onto the walk along the canal which was very nice, we saw a lot of turtles, birds, a small alligator and a small snake swimming (you're up on a berm so it's quite safe). We went to the park after (yellow one). It was nice and big, and there were a lot of other kids around. Bathrooms available. Everything was sort of run down but fine.
Emily M — Google review
I shot for my first time here with my friends! The man at the front desk is very friendly and explains things well. Pricing is very reasonable when compared to other private ranges; I paid $15 for myself to shoot for three hours (I only shot for about an hour and a half but still worth, in my opinion.) Range officers are all very friendly and seem to enjoy their job and spreading awareness on how to be safe with your guns. Highly recommend for a first timer!

Very Nice Camping! I stayed here for 2 nights and found this park and campground to be one of the nicest and well maintained county parks I have stayed at. The property is so nice and very quiet at night. I had a little trouble finding the sewer hook up hole in the ground when I got to my site. It was mostly due to the amount of leaves on the ground. I called the office and they sent out a ranger to help. In no time we found it and was set up. If you are in a RV or Van i recommend getting provisions before getting set up. there is nothing really close by for shopping. Walking the grounds here is a big plus for staying at a park. The entire area is full of nature trails, ponds, lakes and activities. There's a shooting range in the park and it is open until late each night but don't let that stop you from staying here. It is not that loud and you can get a space far away from the range. All in all, this is a great place to stay for a few nights and take in all that Florida nature as to offer.

Fox Observatory, managed by the South Florida Amateur Astronomers Association, is a popular spot for stargazing. The observatory offers public hours on Saturday nights and features a small building with two large telescopes. Visitors can also enjoy the telescopes set up outside by association members. Although the observatory is currently undergoing renovations, guests can still use the 14-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope to explore the night sky.

Fish & chips restaurant
The Kingshead British Pub in Sunrise is a charming Tudor-style pub that serves classic English cuisine and offers a wide selection of ales, stouts, lagers, and ciders. With over 60 options to choose from, including both local and international brews, visitors can enjoy a truly authentic British experience. The cozy atmosphere transports guests to England with its traditional decor. In addition to delicious food and drinks, the pub also hosts quiz nights and features live music for added entertainment.
I promise you, the very best fish and chips with a giant piece of haddock twice the size of the bun! The steak and mushroom sandwich was absolutely divine! I can't wait to come back!

Truly a hidden gem! Food was great, felt like I was having a home cooked meal while we got to watch the football game ⚽ the dessert pudding was also delicious. I can't wait to go back to try more dishes. And! They have a corner market where we bought some imported goods! Would totally recommend.

I've lived in Sunrise almost 40 years & had never been here before! My mom wanted Fish & Chips for her birthday & I have driven by this place so many times, we decided to give it a shot. Andrew was extremely attentive & wonderful. The food was delicious! My mom cleaned her bowl of clam chowder... she loved the fish & chips, we also had the poutine fries (my favorite) and the steak pie. Cute little pub environment... we'll definitely be back!
C W — Google review
Amazing Food, the fish and chips were outstanding. The butty sandwich with bangers, soft fried egg and cheese amazing. The Guinness was perfect.
Dru D — Google review
Found out about this place while searching for restaurants in South Florida that serve poutine (sadly, there are not many). To say the least, their poutine is quite spectacular (and so is the sticky toffee pudding)! Great bang for buck! I'll definitely be back!

Since my husband and I don’t have a Tardis to transport ourselves back to our London adventure and the fantastic British pubs we enjoyed, coming here is a close second. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff/servers are lovely, the food is good and the beers are always cold and delicious. We are hoping to stop by tomorrow, since it’s been too long and this review is making me thirsty. Cheers 🍻
Michelle B — Google review
Great atmosphere, and lovely food, but nothing is perfect! Came for an open mic event, food was great loved the clam chowder soup it was the best. Atmosphere was also great, excellent place to spend good time with friends or family. I do feel terrible for only one person serving about 100 people there running between the open mic event, the bar and the tables by herself. Another great example of modern day slavery. 😑 To our server Liz, thank you very much I appreciate your service, amazing attitude never lost track of an order or cleaning a table.

Sports Complexes
Located at 9605 W. Oakland Park Blvd., Sunrise, FL 33351, Sunrise Tennis Club Park is a tennis club that boasts an impressive range of amenities. With its 15 well-lit tennis courts, this facility offers a variety of playing surfaces including Hydrocourt clay courts and asphalt-based cushioned courts, as well as an exclusive tournament court with the same cushioning system. Additionally, spectators can enjoy sheltered areas while watching matches unfold.
This is one of the nicest clubs in the area. The courts are well maintained, easy to reserve (they always answer phones) and less expensive comparing to other places in the neighborhood. I also love the fact that there is a brand new ball machine and the entire staff is very nice!
Christine W — Google review
I like the footprint of this club a lot. It features a large center court for events (hard court) with a mix of clay and hard courts. There is a lounge area with four and beverage and plenty of lesson programs for kids and adults. Very good lights for night play and plenty of bathrooms near the court and in the club house along with shaded areas. The parking lot is small so in the summer it may be hard to find a spot as it’s next to the pool. The courts play ok. I did experience a dead spot on court 3 but during the match the bounces were tru overall and the place has a nice vibe and is well maintained compared to other public parks.

Sunrise tennis club is the best in broward ! Front desk staff are great and kind and coaches are spectacular , Luis is one of the best for your high performance kids

Very good place. There are a lot of courts and big spaces, with very nice landscapes. I loved playing there!

Sunrise Tennis Clubs is an extremely welcoming place to call home. The staff is always pleasant and Cody, does an exactly job of insuring that the courts are well maintained and the facility’s lounge and restrooms are always clean. At Sunrise, it’s the people who make the club and members of the Sunrise Tennis Club are willing to invite others to join matches and socialize after competing.
Myra P — Google review
Very nice facility. There is over 12 tennis courts. Everything is spotless and taken care of.
Camila C — Google review
I'm absolutely smitten with my tennis classes and the coaches are just delightful! Playing every week is a blast. And let's not forget the reception ladies—they're like busy bees, always buzzing around and helping out with everything. The only downside? We definitely need more beginner classes during the week. Two just aren't cutting it! 🎾😄

This is a great part of living in the Sunrise area. The staff was super nice and we were able to get a court right away. Tons of fun and totally affordable. Thank you Sunrise Tennis Club!

Outlet mall
Nestled in the heart of Florida, Sawgrass Mills is a shopper's paradise and the largest outlet shopping destination in the United States. With over 350 stores, it boasts an impressive array of well-known brands like Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ralph Lauren. This vibrant retail hub also features value retailers such as OFF 5th Saks Fifth Avenue and Target, ensuring that visitors can find everything from trendy fashion to home essentials.
The shopping center is so large that my family and I couldn’t manage to explore it all, from the inside to the outside. There are an incredible number of products. I really love this place, and it’s also my first time here. I’d like to recommend it to anyone looking for the biggest and best outlet in Miami.
John N — Google review
A must-visit classic for Argentine and Brazilian tourists shopping in Florida. Sawgrass Mills has absolutely everything, outlet stores with great discounts, luxury brands, and more. The mall keeps growing, and there’s tons of parking, which makes it super convenient for families or anyone doing a big shopping day. I’m giving it 4 stars because the rented carts are quite expensive, and during our visit, the elevators in the covered parking garage weren’t working. We had to leave the trolley downstairs and carry bags (and a small child) up the stairs, not ideal. Aside from that, it was an excellent experience, as always. If you're visiting from Argentina or Brazil, this mall is a must. Just bring comfy shoes and patience, there’s a lot of ground to cover!
Fernando A — Google review
Sawgrass Mills is a shopper’s paradise! The outlet offers an incredible variety of stores, from luxury brands to everyday favorites, all at great prices. The mall is huge, clean, and well-organized, with plenty of dining options for a quick snack or a nice meal. It’s easy to spend an entire day here and still have more to explore. Definitely worth the trip for anyone who loves shopping!
Orhan K — Google review
I recently visited Sawgrass Mills Mall, and I can honestly say it’s an experience on its own. This place is absolutely huge — one of the largest outlet malls I’ve ever been to — and you really need a full day if you want to explore it properly. There are stores for every taste and budget, from big-name brands to outlet bargains, and even some luxury options. Something I would recommend to anyone planning to go is to arrive early. Parking can be very challenging, and if you get there later in the day you might end up driving around for a long time before finding a spot. The mall is almost always full, and that makes parking one of the toughest parts of the visit. Inside, the variety is impressive. You can literally find everything in one place: clothing, accessories, home items, electronics, and more. There are also plenty of dining options, so you won’t have trouble grabbing a bite between shopping sessions. But be prepared — the mall is so big that you’ll be walking a lot. I easily logged thousands of steps just going from one side to the other, so comfortable shoes are a must. On the positive side, many people (myself included) appreciate the deals you can find, especially in certain stores. However, not all prices are lower than in department stores like Macy’s, so it’s worth comparing before buying. As for the overall experience, customer service varies depending on the store. Some staff are very friendly and helpful, while in other places the service could be much better. For example, I noticed that in a few shops, the staff didn’t seem too interested in assisting customers, and that takes away a bit from the experience. Also, the restrooms and some common areas could be cleaner, considering how busy the mall gets. Another challenge is navigating the mall itself. Because it’s so large, it’s easy to feel lost at times, and although there are maps, it can still take a while to figure out the layout. Despite those details, I think Sawgrass Mills is absolutely worth visiting, especially if you’re someone who enjoys shopping. It’s a shopper’s paradise, and you’ll probably find things you wouldn’t easily get elsewhere. Just make sure to plan your visit wisely: wear comfortable clothes, arrive early to find parking, and be ready to spend several hours exploring.
Daniel — Google review
Sawgrass Mills is huge like seriously you can spend the whole day there and still not see everything So many stores from designer outlets to regular brands I always find good deals especially at Nike and Saks Off 5th Food court has lots of options too not just fast food but decent choices Place does get crowded on weekends and it’s easy to get lost lol but that’s part of the experience Wear comfy shoes you’ll need them Overall a shopper’s paradise if you like hunting for deals
Vacel N — Google review
This is such a big mall. It includes indoor shopping with outdoor shopping. It has every store you can think of and more you have never heard of. There are restaurants outside the mall and 2 food courts inside, so you won't go hungry. There are outlet stores and upscale stores. You must visit this mall if you visit south Florida. Great shopping, people watching and you will get a great walk in seeing everything. This has to be one of the largest malls in Florida!

Kinson C — Google review
Sawgrass Mills is hands down the best outlet mall I’ve ever visited! This place is massive — so big that even after spending an entire day there, we still didn’t manage to cover it all. It truly has something for everyone, with an incredible variety of stores and options to choose from. You’ll find all the top brands and more, including Under Armour, Nike, Adidas, Primark, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi’s, Polo Ralph Lauren, and many others. Many of the stores offer great deals and discounts, especially if you’re patient and willing to hunt for bargains. Whether you’re shopping for clothes, shoes, electronics, or home goods, there’s no shortage of options. The mall is also well-equipped with multiple food courts and restaurant choices, so taking a break and grabbing a bite is easy and convenient — which you’ll definitely need after walking around for hours! If you’re shopping in Miami or anywhere nearby, Sawgrass Mills is a must-stop destination. Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes and plan for a full day — or more!

Step into the past at the Dauer Museum of Classic Cars in Sunrise, Florida. This family-owned museum showcases over 50 vintage cars that offer a glimpse into America's rich automotive history. The collection, curated over five decades, features iconic designs from the 1950s and other remarkable models from different periods. Visitors can immerse themselves in the evolution of automobiles and explore memorabilia, devices, and scientific advancements from bygone eras.
The Dauer Museum of Classic Cars is a great place to enjoy with the whole family! We went with friends and brought our car loving kids and my father who is a vintage car enthusiast. The cars and memorabilia are in exquisite condition. There is so much to admire! The layout of the space is very well thought out. Dr. Dauer gave us a wonderful tour of his collection, and we will definitely come back again!

Definitely worth a visit. Me and my father visited and the man who greeted us was very friendly and personable. The collection was also phenomenal. It has some exceptionally interesting custom classic vehicles. The condition of the restoration on the cars is also great, from interior to exterior, the vehicles are spotless and look pulled straight from the factory. We also appreciated the other pieces of memorabilia and decor. Definitely a great experience.

A recommended place for car lovers and historians! From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by the owner with great kindness and appreciation for visitors. An enviable car collection! What a great place to spend a few hours and read the history behind each vehicle. A very nice place — I highly recommend it! 🚗✨

Really great museum! It’s an incredible place with such a unique collection of retro cars. Chevrolet Impala is my favorite 😍 The atmosphere is amazing, and it feels like stepping back in time. Every exhibit is so well presented and beautifully maintained — I truly loved the experience! Definitely recommend for visiting!

Stopped by while on vacation from WI with my friend on Nov 5th, 2025. This was a great find in Sunrise. Such an amazing collection of automobiles of all eras as well as other parts of history. My friend loved the fact we found a 1955 Oldsmobile on Nov 5th since that was the day Doc Brown came up with the Flux Capacitor in Back to the Future. I had a very sentimental moment when I found the restored John Deere pedal tractor toy. I got the exact same tractor toy when I was a kid for my Birthday from my Grandpa who was a farmer. My mom thought of the gift so I could have a tractor just like Grandpa. I still have it to this day, but it was amazing to see a restored one that looked brand new. If you enjoy classic cars or history this is a great place to visit. Dr. Dauer runs a great place and makes you feel very welcome.
Chris L — Google review
Lots of beautiful cars! And other really cool vintage items. $20 a person does feel little pricey, but I get it - it's not easy to run a small museum like this where you don't have a whole lot of customers that often. That's why they have very short hours and charge that much. If you appreciate classic cars and anything beautiful vintage, you will enjoy your visit. Plenty of photo ops as well. You can photograph anything.
Tony S — Google review
My boyfriend and I went a few months ago and spent about 3-4 hours in the museum! The owner was so friendly and spent time talking with us, and he even let us choose a car to sit in! Then one of the employees took our picture. It was a great half day adventure with many unique cars to look at. It was not busy either even on a Saturday. Unfortunately, I no longer have the picture on my phone of us in the car (and these have a filter I added) but it was so kind of him to let us sit in it. We highly recommend the museum and service to others!

The charming museum Plantation Historical Museum, located in Plantation, Florida, showcases enduring displays that delve into the local history. These exhibits explore the Seminole and Tequesta tribes, as well as families of notable importance in the region. In addition to this, visitors can also marvel at various artifacts from the town's police and fire departments.
We took our newborn and 2 year old to see the miniature train displays and we had no idea we would see all the creative and beautiful trees! Great way to teach your 2 year old boundaries and that you can't touch everything lol. He really loved the train tree! So cool they do this every year. He really loved watching the miniature trains! Everyone was so nice and cheery, so full of holiday joy. Very quiet and calm place. I can't recall the time we went but it wasn't busy. They had a really cool fire engine in one area. One of the retired plantation trucks. Overall, we had a nice time! It was a quick visit with the babies but it was nice.

The Plantation Historical Society again did a great job mounting and showcasing a comprehensive exhibit of a momentous period in US and world history in a way that a hundred years later we can relate to in a very human and visceral way. This World War I exhibit encompasses all aspects of life, not only in the trenches, but what was happening on the home front. Most if not all the many great items are on loan from locals. Strikers Family Sportscenter is the ultimate destination for family fun, blending entertainment and delicious food in a welcoming atmosphere. This vibrant bowling alley features 40 top-notch lanes, making it perfect for both locals and visitors seeking a good time. Open every day of the week, Strikers offers not just bowling but also darts and pool to keep everyone engaged.
The staff and hospitality at Strikers is second to none. As far as bowling centers go, you cannot do better than this. The center is clean, warm and inviting. My family always have an amazing time whenever we come here. I can’t get them off the lanes because they are having so much fun. They have a fully stocked bar for parents and my daughter says the snack bar has the best french fries she’s ever eaten. I highly recommend this bowl. I’d rather bring my business to a locally owned establishment than the big box, cookie cutter, overpriced chain alternative. We cannot wait for our daughter’s upcoming birthday party at Strikers. It’s going to be incredible!

Great family time! Bundles are worth it. Nice staff! My brother has a disability and the staff was very accommodating and paid very close attention to our party to address any needs he may have had. Very attentive staff!

A great place for bowling that was not too overcrowded. They had a special on Sunday before 5 PM for 2:30 hours for only 55 dollars. They have delicious pizza, but we did not like the nachos with the meat. The place was so much fun with great music.

It’s always a pleasure to come to this bowling alley with my family and friends. The atmosphere is great, and we always feel very well taken care of by the entire staff. They are friendly, attentive, and make sure we have a fun and comfortable experience. The facilities are clean and well maintained, and everything is well organized. We’ll definitely keep coming back and highly recommend it

I celebrated my son’s 7th birthday here, and everything exceeded my expectations! The customer service was outstanding, and the kids had an incredible time bowling and playing in the arcade — they didn’t want to leave! I was so impressed with how smoothly everything went that I’ve already booked another party here in a few weeks. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a new bowling alley after the last bowling alley we went to messed up or reservations and the event organizer Isabella was great was able to get a reservation no prob when we got the the bowling alley we were able to get our food and lanes at exactly around 7 which was good the food was nice and hot but good for what it was because it's bowling alley food the bowling alley itself is a very nice modern bowling alley with new touch screens at the Lane which you can control with your phone via app but there are key reasons why I rated 4 stars and not 5 to get bumpers you have to be 12 and under to get them which is weird because I've never heard of that IDK why but we needed bumpers because not everyone in our group can bowl with out the bumpers but we made it work also they are changing systems so it did get a bit busy and overwhelming at times but it is a popular bowling alley otherwise a decent bowling alley with a bar food and arcade that we would return someday hopefully the New system will be up and running fully

City park
Cypress Preserve Park is an eight-acre natural preserve in Sunrise, Florida that aims to protect the local environment while also providing recreational activities for residents. The park boasts a trail for jogging and walking that is constructed using sustainable materials, as well as a recycled glass river and a nine-hole disc golf course. Additionally, there is a splash pad called Cypress Marsh where children can play on sunny days.
This splash pad is on the smaller side but my 9 year old and 5 year old love it. It has lots of seating but all mostly in direct sunlight light. It’s gated in with only one way to enter. The bathrooms are right behind the splash pad and are usually very clean. There’s a small slide and lots of water shooting up from the ground. My kids easily spend two hours here. Some bugs flying around but there’s lots of trees but not too much. Park has a nice walking path, my kids enjoy that too. There are BBQs along the path, I see birthday parties here sometimes.
Amanda W — Google review
Very cute splash pad. Great for kids. It's small and intimate. Capacity on gate says 26 maximum. Honestly more than 5 could feel cramped. We were there early enough to have it to ourselves for about an hour. Another family of 3 arrived and it was still comfortable. We left about an hour later before anyone else arrived. I would not do this during peak hours.
Nakia T — Google review
OK so here's why I am in love with this splash pad in particular. 1. It's more intimate which means it's not as easy to lose your entire child in the enclosure. Other splash pads are larger and if kids are wearing similar swimwear it can get difficult to tell them apart. 2. There's a mini slide! I love the fact that there is a slide but be focused when your child is on it. It can be quite slippery. 3. It's never really crowded. The most kids I've ever seen here is 6. The capacity is 25. Now unto things I didn't like so much: 1. It's surrounded by bush. Which means there are lots of critters roaming around. The caretaker of the park said that if you leave food out the raccoons will take it for sure. 2. While the activities seem fun they could be a little more interactive. But overall a solid 7 pushing to 8 on Cypress Splash Pad!
Devonne M — Google review
Small park overall. Has a nice kid's miniature water park and a indoor welcome center, a well as a 9 hole disc golf course and a nice secluded path with workout equipment. The path is nice. No trash. The fence makes you feel like your in someone's backyard. Probably won't go again, but if I lived closer I would. Quaint little park!
Patrick N — Google review
My kids love Peppa Pig. This splash park taught them what “jumping up and down in muddy puddles” really means! The splash park is combined with a garden, some of it beautiful And some of it massively overgrown grass that is likely home to snakes and other creatures. The gardeners need to come in to this area and trim it all down. Also there was wooden sticks with nails that my kids found in the garden. Focus more on the splash park and clean up the overgrown garden please! There was a fence which makes this place great! Needs TLC.
Jenna M — Google review
Nice splash pad. We went to cool off and had a great time. It is clean and kids really enjoyed themselves

Beautiful park with lots of native South Florida plants and trees. A fantastic small disc golf course winds through the park and it has a nice exercise path. There's even a small water park for the kids! All of this for free? Yes please!

Nestled in the heart of South Florida, Secret Woods Nature Center is a hidden oasis spanning 57 acres. This urban wilderness area boasts a butterfly garden, reptile habitat, and nature trails that wind through dense mangrove forests. Visitors can enjoy educational programs, interactive exhibits, and a serene atmosphere while reconnecting with nature. The center offers a tranquil retreat from city life and provides opportunities to observe indigenous wildlife in their natural habitat.
This was such a breath, fresh air in the middle of busy Fort Lauderdale. I can’t believe that I’ve been to the hotel near this place three times before I realized it was here. The boardwalk is fabulous. And the trails are decently maintained. Right now, they have a couple of areas blocked off or closed, some for repairs and part of the boardwalk trail near the river, While they are installing a manatee observation deck. This whole time I walked and wandered the premises. I probably wandered for like an hour and a half or something I had a smile plastered on my face. This is a wonderful place to go. If you are needing to take a break, it was relatively quiet, and not very busy. It would be also a nice place to go if you had a short break at the airport or something or needed to relax after being at the airport or before going to the airport because it’s only about 10 minutes away. Do be careful the raccoons are pretty brazen.
Adrienne S — Google review
I’ve lived on Peter’s roads for decades and never went to explore these trails. I did go once to a wedding at their cabin. The trails were perfect and well kept. Loved the board walk, some with rails others without. I also liked how some trails were both board walk and mulch trail on and off. Loved taking the kids with their scooters. They had a blast. I loved how all of the trails were shaded. I loved the swampy areas. The manatee overlook is still under construction and I would really like to go back once it’s complete. I did all of the trails and it took about one hour. They also had an area blocked off in the parking lot with a kids play area , restrooms , shade and water.
Iddet M — Google review
This is such a nice little park! I can't wait until they finish building the manatee observation deck! I've only been 2 times, but you can see some interesting wildlife if the time is right. The first time,we saw a very friendly racoon and the second time we saw a bunch of fiddler crabs. We took our daughter's 9 and 18 month photos here. I do have to say, if you go here BRING BUG SPRAY! The mosquitoes kinda cut our visit short.
Grace J — Google review
A great place if you are a raccoon! I like animals, but I am NOT secure when huge raccoons are walking right near you. It is definitely nature in the raw, but I was afraid to leave the car to sit out and eat or walk the paths. Not for the faint of heart, or if you like a more clean, cultivated park. I would be afraid to bring my kids here- big bees and bigger raccoons.
Naomi S — Google review
If you are a loud person- please don't go there. It's a nature walk, not a phone call/story tell walk... i really enjoyed the walk. I got to see different critters, including different birds, different crabs, a racoon sleeping on top of the palm tree 🌴
Domina — Google review
Secret Woods is a hidden gem! This pleasant little spot is teeming with wildlife, and the elevated wooden trails make it easy to explore and observe the natural beauty around you. The trails provide a great vantage point for spotting birds, and other wildlife. If you're looking for a peaceful and scenic spot to connect with nature, Secret Woods is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!
Yitzchak C — Google review
Went walk on the trail. It was my first time walking for more than 30 mins in Florida. And this I must say was a very good exercise and trail. Lots of varieties of crabs, birds, spiders, and plants. My family and I enjoyed this nature walk. It was clean and quiet. I took a few pictures while walking.

About Time Cafe is a charming and family-friendly eatery on West Oakland Park Boulevard that specializes in classic American breakfast and lunch dishes. This cozy spot offers a variety of mouthwatering options, ranging from eggs and pancakes to burgers and sandwiches. The cafe's breakfast sandwiches are especially popular among regular customers, with the Breakfast BLT, Country Fried Steak Sandwich, and Waffle Sandwich standing out as delicious choices.
Came to this restaurant for breakfast for the first time and I’m very happy we gave this place a chance. The service and the food were both great. We had the breakfast tacos (which they were half off for taco Tuesday) which they were delicious. The steak and eggs were also great and cook to perfection and the waffle were cooked to request. Definitely would be back.

Chaos is the best way to describe this place. Poorly run - gives you family operated vibes because the staff is far from energetic and appears to be inexperienced. No hostess and nobody acknowledged the waiting customers. A few people walked out due to the wait. Finally seated after a 25 minute wait Our waiter was friendly. I ordered pumpkin pancakes with eggs and sausages. Pancakes were undercooked and doughy. Eggs were greasy and unsalted. My husband ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich and loved it but did not enjoy the side salad. Service was extremely slow in the kitchen. Update: I went against my better judgment and returned for breakfast. It was awful. This place should not be in business. The service is worse than Burger King. The servers and kitchen staff suck. The service was horrible and the food was worse. The slop that they attempted to serve me was shocking. Needless to say, I didn't eat anything. They are selective about who they serve as well...privileged people get expedited service. Three couples were seated at different tables in the restaurant prior to a large party of 7 that were seated 10-15 minutes after us but they managed to serve them before us. We were all shocked when they received their food as we all still waited for our food. The fact that we had been waiting over 25 minutes and placed our order immediately at we were sat is crazy. Terrible.

First time trying this place. We were greeted on entering and seated right away. The place was pretty full but still had lots of seating. The waitress was great!!!, service was good, friendly with a smile and very informative. The food came out in good time, most was hot and tasted good, except the hashbrowns were cold, although they made another to replace the cold one it was hot but greasy and with uncooked potatoes in the middle, not cooked through and crispy. The toasted bread for the BLT had a bit too much oil on it, but it was a good tasting sandwich apart from that! With these issues resolved overall it is a great little spot! I would recommend you give them a try! I will go back to try other stuff on the menu! Keep up the great work!!

I always used to hear my friends talk about this restaurant so I decided to give it a go and treated myself to an impromptu brunch. It was great! The atmosphere is very cozy and the place is well kept and very clean. From the moment I stepped in I was greeted by Carol who was my main server (I can't remember the other lady's name but she was very good too) All the staff was very friendly and attentive and you can tell that they work really well as a team. Now the food.... 10/10! My pancakes were light and fluffy. The bacon was perfectly crispy and SEASONED. My eggs were done exactly how I asked for them. I didn't even need to add extra salt or pepper! They have it down to a science 😁 and to top it all off my orange juice was freshly squeezed 😌 I couldn't ask for more. I'm definitely going to return with my family!

Ate here for the first time today! I ordered French toast with a side of bacon! The service here is AMAZING! I truly didn’t enjoy the French toast but the bacon was good! This place has a southern feel to it! The hostess greeted me as I walked in, said goodbye when I was leaving and while I was visiting- received service from both him and the waiter!! GREAT SERVICE. However, I probably won’t return. Pretty decent prices also!

Incredible from start to finish. Great customer service over the phone prior to arrival. The owner was ready for us with menus and warm welcome. He sat us at the table of our choosing and told us he and his wife are the new owners, very charming couple. The place feels very comforting and whoever decorated/choose the paint color did a great job. Our waitress was attentive and absolutely incredible. Now the food: fresh and delicious. My friend and I kept offering each other to taste what we had because it was so well prepared and very tasty. Great price too. I live out of state but if I am ever in the area again I know where to go for breakfast. If you’re near please come in enjoy a great meal and support them.

Tater tots are greasy, bread salty could not eat them. The place looks run down. Don't know if they are new owners but first impression , the floor was sticking nothing looked clean . 😔 food did not deserve a 3 or 4. The price was over 10 dollars the only thing I could eat was eggs . 😞

I order ubereats from here a lot and everytime I order the food is perfect. Everything is always hot and seasoned perfectly. All That Jazz is truly a hidden GEM! My Wife and I love going to dinner and enjoying some live music and All That Jazz did not disappoint us in any way. From the outside, it does not seem like much, in a strip mall that is being renovated but once you walk in, we were greeted by Mike, the owner and his Wife and we were sat at our table right away. Mike is also one of the band members, he was playing the Bass, and the five piece band was AMAZING! The food and homemade dishes were beyond expectations, wonderfully prepared and the service was timely and exceptional in every way. This establishment was cozy and made us feel welcomed. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who is looking for a place to have an AWESOME Dinner and music entertainment. Mike and Family, may God continue Blessing you so that many others can experience the Magic that you serve. Sincerely, Nelson and Karen

Sunrise Pita & Grill is a charming spot that brings the vibrant flavors of traditional Israeli street food to South Florida. Established in 1998 by an Israeli chef, this unpretentious eatery specializes in mouthwatering Mid-Eastern sandwiches filled with falafel, turkey and lamb shawarma, and grilled meats seasoned to perfection. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh ingredients sourced from a local Israeli bakery for their pitas, ensuring each bite bursts with authentic taste.
After moving away for years, it's nice to be able to come back and enjoy delicious food. I've always visited this location and have never had a bad experience. I dropped in for a meal to go today and was able to try the butternut squash soup too. So delicious and so much food, I think I have a few meals now 😋

In general, everything is delicious, the prices are reasonable, but the dishes in which it is served are not suitable from an aesthetic point of view. Most likely for religious reasons.

I can't describe how amazing the food is here. Plenty of plant based options for vegans & vegetarians and the menu is clearly marked for guidance. I can't brag enough on their onion rings (VEGAN Y'ALL), hummus, pita, and falafel. They're always very friendly and helpful. I've only been to the location across from Trader Joe's, so I can only speak for that location. I'm sure the other one is just as great. Check them out ASAP!

I had the pleasure of meeting visiting cousins here for lunch today. If you're craving the most delicious Mid-Eastern food (falafel, Shawarma, kebabs), Sunrise Pita & Grill is the place to go. We were made to feel right at home when we arrived by the warm and welcoming staff. We placed our orders and sat to wait for the rest of our party to arrive. The gentleman at the counter came over and offered to lower the tv volume for us. Then he gave my husband complimentary samples of the soup of the day for us to enjoy as we waited. The soup was cream of corn, and it was super delicious. The place is so clean and inviting to sit and enjoy your food. We absolutely loved everything we ordered. All is prepared fresh in front of you, and the portions are plentiful. Can't wait to go back for more!
Linda G — Google review
Good food and great, quick service. The salads are authentic and delicious, the shawarma was good and thinly shaved, and even the French fries were delicious. The only things I did not like were the appetizers. I got the mix and it was unimpressive (especially the Kube)
Shy C — Google review
Sometimes ya just don't feel like cookin'. Sometimes, you want something fast and spicy (or not spicy if you choose) that's not the stereotypical "burger & fries." That's when we head out to Sunrise Pita for shwarma on a crispy baguette or wrapped in Lafa bread when they have it. These are enormous sandwiches. Usually I eat half, and eat the rest for lunch the next day. When I'm feeling like dessert, their baklava is the best. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures.
Ari E — Google review
I went expecting for a healthy option today and I found it. The service and the food taste was great. I had ordered a full platter of lamb. At the price of 24.99 plus taxes, it was quite disappointing. I was served a portion of lamb on the mini plate. If this is "full platter" I can"t imagine what the mini platter is like. Mind you, the latter is also expensive. There are other places that serve you much more and fairer at that price point.
Oscar A — Google review
The Food here is always fresh and so tasty. I ordered the Shawarma Baguette and my brother ordered the Shawarma Plate. The meat is tender and full of flavor! I highly recommend if you are considering to try it. They also have great falafel and chicken dishes. But my personal favorite is the SHAWARMA! We have been coming here for years and the food has always been consistent. I can honestly say we've never had a bad meal here. This is one of my family's go to places to enjoy some delicious fresh food. 5 stars

My new favorite place for my cortadito habit ! I think the best cortadito in town (I take mine no sugar). I was fortunate to be treated to a birthday dinner; snapper day's was the special. I ordered the snapper and enjoyed it tremendously. The food is authentically cuban and the environment welcoming. The servers are courteous and well mannered. My toddler loves this park. It has three well padded and covered sections in addition to the nicely gated splash pad. It’s incredibly clean and even great for a picnic on the grass. However, the park seems to be closed at random times without the parks hours being posted anywhere or on the website. We’ll drive specifically to this park only to find it closed, sometimes on a Wednesday at 3, sometimes on a Friday at 5, etc with no explanation. Please post solid park hours for parents

I took my newborn, my 2 year old and my 6 year old to this playground and we had such a nice time!! We entered and saw a community center building so we ran in and saw different flyers for different activities and events that the town had going on and coming up which was great because we are new to the area! The park had multiple options for different aged children which was great because mine are such different age gaps and not all playground work well for us! It was VERY hot so the splash pad was great even for my 2YO who is very afraid of water most of the time! He actually played in the splash pads! The restroom was very clean and close by. I loved that there were different seating options and multiple trees to provide shade because of my newborn!! We wouldn’t have been able to stay otherwise but the shade was great and he took a nap on the blanket on the grass under the tree! We ate snacks on our blanket in the shade also but they do provide tables in a pavilion as well! We had a nice time and will definitely be back soon!

This park is amazing!! It has 3 different play areas for different age groups as well as a splash pad for all ages and pavilions with picnic tables for parties or just to sit and relax while the children play. This is always our go to number one park. We spend at least 2-3 hours here every time we visit!

We had 14 of us so we had two rooms! Both rooms were fantastic! There were some malfunctions with some locks and magnets that were not strong enough. Our host Matthew and Sam were amazing with our clues to guid us along!

This was even MORE fun than expected, and I’d definitely go again. It’s challenging and really makes you think, but you can ask for help from the staff if needed. One of the team members, Ian, was so helpful and approachable! Update: We went again within 2 weeks because it was that fun! Team member Jessica was so helpful with hints, and we escaped this time!
Danielle S — Google review
We had a great time! We’d done escape rooms before but this one was easily the most challenging and engaging one so far! The staff member Jessica did a great job guiding us through the tricky parts without giving away too much, great experience all around :)

My group and I did this room the first time last week and failed because the puzzles pieces were missing and the lights weren’t working properly. My husband called and explained all this to the manager and they told him we could do the room again. We then passed with 15min to spare because everything was there and the lights were working this time. I would say the customer service was awesome. And very nice of them to let us re do the room. Matthew was the best helper ever. (Although we didn’t really need him). He was still awesome. Thanks Matthew!!!!

Did Lost Tomb tonight, had a blast and escaped!! Lindsay our room guide was amazing. She gave us a few good hints and made the experience so much fun, we will definitely ask for her again. Highly recommend this room!!!!

I had an amazing experience here with 15 other friends in 2 of the storylines. I was thrilled and felt challenged every step of the way. My team of 8 won with just under 2 minutes left on the clock! I will be coming back because the sensation of stepping out of the last room in victory is a unique and wonderful rush.
Camilo M — Google review
Great experience! Matthew was the the epitome of quality customer service from beginning to end. Very helpful, and theatrical as game master during the escape. Most of the escapes have multi rooms, so you’re not stuck in one room for the entire escape. Looking forward to going again!

We had a group of 6, some newbies and some veterans. We did "the tomb" and it was great! As someone who grew up loving Ancient Egypt, this was more of a treat than I was expecting for my first escape room. Our host was CJ, and he did a wonderful job of nudging us if we needed to keep moving without giving too much away. We will definitely be coming back with our group of friends to try out the other rooms!

Flamingo Park is a fantastic destination for those seeking a blend of relaxation and recreational activities. This vibrant park boasts an array of facilities, including soccer fields, baseball diamonds, basketball courts, and even a tennis court. Families can enjoy the well-maintained playground while fitness enthusiasts can take advantage of the 0.77-mile walking path or workout utilities scattered throughout the area.
Very cool sport complex park a half a quarter mile away from my home. I really like coming here to do my daily jog/ run. This park has a soccer field, some baseball diamonds and a coup basketball courts, so everyone can come and play. There’s even a small playground for the little ones too. Almost every time I come here I see that there are people playing basketball and baseball.
David C — Google review
Nice upgraded playground section for kids and splash pad. Love that it’s gated but hate that the toddler section of the slides is not covered by the sun shades like the rest of the playground, making the slides get extremely hot even early in the morning.
Nada — Google review
Love this park. My son loves it so much. They have basketball courts, baseball, soccer, workout utilities, a mini water park for the kids in case it gets too hot and many more stuff. The staff workers here are also very nice and make sure everything is up kept .
Saccerio F — Google review
This is a safe park with entertaining adventures for children of all ages. The fences lock securely. There’s clean restrooms. There’s a vending machine. It’s certainly worth a visit!
Jenna M — Google review
This park is amazing! The splash pad is clean, there are shaded benches, water guns, floor spouts, a huge bucket that spills every 5 or so minutes, and run through sprayers. This park actually drains (unlike Plantation woods after their remodeling) and the water is warm. You can also smell the chlorine (another pro you don't find at most splash pads) which indicates that the water is clean. The actual playground area has something for the bigger kids with climbing rope ladders and a smaller play area for younger kids with stairs. My only gripe with this park is that the shading over it does not keep the slides cool (they are a dark color which attracts the heat) and lots of kids get burned or stay away from them completely. I like to grab water from the splash pad and pour it down the baby slide so it cools off a little. The swings are also shaded and there are 2 big kid swings and 2 baby swings. Overall, this place has a little bit of something for everyone. There are baseball fields and a party room too! I think this park is one of our favorites on rotation.
Chrystina H — Google review
Nice little part with great basketball and walking/running amenities! Park is always very clean and filled with people using their community park.
Dante W — Google review
Nice local park. Covered basketball courts, soccer field, 2 baseball fields, playground, and a great path that is .76 of a mile for 1 lap . 4 times around and you have a 5k run.
Sharon W — Google review
Renovation is done, now you can enjoy field, playground, splash park and swings even for a walk, run, jog or ride a bike. Perfect for family.

Rebounderz Indoor Trampoline Park Sunrise is a fantastic family-friendly venue that spans tens of thousands of square feet, filled with trampolines and engaging activities. This park offers a more intimate experience compared to larger trampoline parks, making it an ideal spot for families looking to escape the heat while letting their kids expend some energy. With various attractions like Air Basketball and a Warrior Course, children can enjoy unique experiences without the overwhelming presence of arcade games.
Another Party Attended, this time at Rebounderz. A little smaller than Off the Wall or Skyzone but I was amazed at their Space and Trampoline Attractions. So many little areas and each offering a little something different. My Children really enjoyed their Air Basketball and Their Warrior Course. The Party Room ( Pirate One ) was Spacious and Nicely Designed.. Clean as well. The food was really good ! ( Pizza & Wings ) . The bathroom was clean .. and so was the area where many of the adults were gathered for sitting / eating / having a drink. Fairly priced too . I believe I paid $5.00 and change for a glass of Wine. Arcade was okay .. I wish there were more games.. Aside from that , Overall my Kids had an amazing time ! I would highly recommend this location.
B. J — Google review
It was a pretty cool place to take the kids they had a lot of fun.. although this place does not serve alcohol so me and my wife were a little bored watching the kids play for five hours ☹️ but overall it was a cool experience. Kids had a blast jumping until they were passing out. I would recommend this place!
Three C — Google review
Not as elaborate (or as crowded) as other trampoline parks. Kids (all young) were excited and the price was right on Groupon. Smaller number or attractions than expected. But this might be a plus— not the typical excess of gambling machines. Much more focused on the trampolines and games. Found it more than a little irritating that they insisted on their own brand socks for jumping on the tramps even though we had multiple pairs that were basically the same, with another logo. A week or two after going, to my surprise, my kids indicated they prefer this place to Off the Wall, a more well-known competitor. I think this is because less focus on arcade games and tickets and more about the jumping. This seems like a healthy preference. After my second visit I’ve raised my opinion from three to four stars.
Daniel M — Google review
Waited 15 min in line, then when I went to pay i was told to go register on the computers when there were plenty of workers who saw us standing in line that could have told us.... the wait was so long that people behind us left... kids are having fun, but it is exorbitantly expensive .... almost $60 for 2 kids, excluding socks ... don't worry, I'll find other things you do with my kids over the summer.... this from a dad that used to work at Chuck-e-Cheese's (Sunrise), DiscoveryZone (Plantation) and Explorations (Boca Raton).... otherwise place is clean including the men's bathroom, but sometimes there just nobody at the front desk which means that no one is watching the front door (see pictures)... music is a bit loud which doesn't really allow for comfortable phone conversations.... lastly, there are some hazards by way of exposed electrical outlets ... more than one... see pics... staff is otherwise friendly

I booked my son's 6th Bday party there, it was going to be our first time being there, so decided to swing by for a tour. From the intro from Makayla arriving, to the tour with Josh, to the event day with the MC-Bryan it was an awesome experience ! The lobby play area is quite small, not a lot of game options and the party rooms aren't the greatest themes aside from the Outer Space one I got lucky to get which fits the location, but the laser room is incredible and who would want to pass up the Superb Customer Service Deadrick, General Manager and his team give??..!!! Thank you again for the "hospitality" and energy and we plan to see you soon again! Mrs. B-Davis

If you're looking for a fantastic spot for family fun, Monkey Joe's in Sunrise is the place to be! This vibrant indoor play space offers an array of inflatables, arcade games, and delicious concessions that will keep kids entertained for hours. Since the new owners took over, visitors have raved about the friendly staff and the clean, welcoming environment. Parents appreciate how well-maintained everything is and feel comfortable bringing their toddlers along.
We love this place since the new owners took over. Such a great experience, very friendly attentive staff and the remodels are super fun for the kids!! The food is also excellent! My only thing to comment on is I think there needs to be one or two people on the floor to control the toddler area and the trampoline area. Kids don't usually purposely get out of control but they do get caught up in the moment and it seems a bit hectic in those areas. Just a suggestion, as it might reduce some of the chaos. Still worth 5 stars though and way better than any other indoor play place in the area!! My kids had a blast, everyone was friendly, and no major complaints. Thank you ☺️

This place is super fun. We took all the kids and the family and held a party here. The owner was very generous and the staff were very courteous. All we had to do is call ahead. They have the best prices we found in the area. We wanted to find a place for the kids to play without breaking the bank. They have a variety of Arcades, a trampolines, and bouncy houses. We will certainly come again!
Faisel S — Google review
I had a playdate for my 22 months daughter with neighbour 2 yrs girl, it was fun and we went to the bouncy house that parents are allowed in the corner. We ordered pizza and drinks. All was okay until a tall almost teen boy was running around, playing hide and seek or something and he hit my daughter’s head accidentally from our back side when we were sitting down to eat but never came up again to say sorry. I guess the staffs need to be more on top of big kids and keep an eye on every single kid besides the parents of course. Thank God my kid was only frightened in few mins and she was okay afterwards.
InniQ — Google review
Fun place for kids to bounce and run around and have fun. Some areas too crowded with birthday parties. Cafe could use some upgrading.
Sharon S — Google review
I took my daughter to Monkey Joes last weekend. I noticed that kids were going into the bounce houses bare foot promoting bacteria and germs. Some parents were allowed by staff to go into the bounce houses or sit in the way of kids climbing inside of it. However, there are several signs that stated no adults in the bounce house. It's funny how the staff were real quick to notice my outside drink, which I finished and threw out. I guess it is fair to say they would pick and choose what they will allow, despite of their own policy.
Noneofyour B — Google review
Located west Oakland Park within a strip mall shopping center. All customers MUST sign in before entering Monkey Joe's for security purposes. Staff for the most part were pleasant and helpful. However most staff members seemed disorganized and therefore party rooms ran behind. Food was not good bland and served cold. $50.00 fee is charged if you bring in outside food. Child Running procedure was not put in place and children were injured in the process.

UNDER COMPLETELY DIFFERENT NEW OWNERS AND SO CLEAN! My mom always takes my son there. She always speaks highly about the owners there and how clean it is. I have gone myself to check it out. It is definitely a place I feel comfortable taking my toddler to. The staff is so kind and welcoming and it is a very fun, clean and family friendly ambiance. I've heard horror stories about previous owners and the bad condition, however, it is nice to see the new management has completely changed it up for the better! I always see the owner cleaning the equipment and houses frequently.

It is a beautiful, well maintained park. On one side is sort of a lake (not for use) that has a lovely wooden walkway that goes out on to the lake making for a great photo op. I was there with my dogs for Woofstock. This is an annual event the first Saturday in February for dogs and their families to have a day of fun. There are booths, give aways, contests, and fun activities. It is well worth going to. For the last nine years, It has become a yearly tradition for us. I honestly don't know if dogs are allowed in the park during other times of the year. I'm sure someone at the City of Sunrise could tell you.

Love this place for this event disney on ice..the show was beautiful...just to let you know the food is expensive there. $18.00 dollars for a can of corana beer. $8.00 sprite almost $30 for a hamburger and fries. The time we spend there was very fun.

Fantastic night at the Amerant praising with Brandon Lake, Pat Barrett and Frannie Cash. The arena itself was great, the parking/traffic control crew were amazing and the disabled parking was plentiful and even with a sold out house, the restrooms were clean and tidy, all credit to the cleaning and maintenance staff. As I said, it was a sold out house so I would guess that explains the very long wait in line at the food consession (if not the high prices). Our seats were eady to find and there were plenty of helpers around indide the arena to help you with a smile. A slight letdown was security cheerypicking somewhat, sending droves of people back to their cars with purses that were to big, yet letting others in with the same and bigger size. Our all in all impression of the arena was that the accessibility was good, signage was good, the facilites were clean and the majority of staff gave service with a smile. It was a great night and we would absolutely attend events at the Amerant again.

We visited with our 2-year-old and had a great time overall. The place was clean and well-maintained—definitely nicer than some of the other spots we’ve been to. Yes, there was the usual kid stuff (like a child who probably needed a diaper change), but that’s nothing unexpected. The only downside was one kid who kept hitting smaller children. It got to the point where I had to shadow my daughter closely the whole time. When we went to get snacks, I noticed the boy’s dad was sitting with a beer and working on his laptop, not paying attention. We later saw them leave together, so we’re sure it was his kid. I didn’t say anything to staff or the parent, but once the boy realized I was watching, he stopped. On the plus side, the mozzarella sticks were delicious—definitely recommend grabbing some if you visit.

Was a decent spot to kill a few hours with the kids. We came in from out of town and was able to enjoy the jump area as well the arcade stuff. Seems like they have a lot of birthday parties with small areas that make the accommodations a bit cramped.

Flippo’s Fort Lauderdale is a MUST-VISIT for families! The slides are a hit with the kids (and adults too!), and the vibe is super relaxed and fun. We loved the wine and pizza options for the grown-ups, making it a great spot for the whole family to enjoy. Plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, and the atmosphere is always lively and welcoming. Can't wait to come back!

The helpful game masters provide just the right amount of guidance without giving too much away, ensuring a thrilling adventure.
I did axe throwing and struggled to get it right, but Chris gave me card instructions and I finally did it. We also used throwing stars and cards which were AWESOME. Azalea checked in on us and was super friendly. We loved it so much we're staying for an escape room.

Mason was our gamaster and didn’t hesitate to help us when the rest of our group came a little late. We had a great time doing the Cursed City Escape Room. We will definitely be coming back!

Chris was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, he brought such fun energy and made the whole escape room experience even better. He gave us just the right amount of help, without giving away the game, and kept us laughing the whole time. The room was challenging but so much fun, and Chris made it unforgettable. If you’re thinking about doing an escape room, ask for Chris, you won’t regret it!

Went here spontaneously for something fun to do and it made my weekend! We did the Wizards/ Harry Potter themed room and it was immaculately done! This is a must-do, we had so much fun! Loved how there were multiple rooms we had to solve, kept it intriguing! Brian was awesome when we had to ask for clues, kuddos to him! Can't wait to go back :)

I had such a blast here on 3/1! It’s very hard to keep surprises from me, but my boyfriend and friends did a pretty good job on the Escape Room portion of this! We did the Harry Potter room and it was hilariously fun. Chris guided us through and through. He was friendly, helpful, and has a love for anime, which is a PLUS for the anime community! Come on down and support this business! The axe throwing was my favorite part of the surprise, as my boyfriend and I had the room to ourselves, so we were able to blast all of the anime/j-pop songs we liked while competing to solve puzzles and get the highest scores. Best birthday ever!!!!

Welleby Park, located in Sunrise County FL, is a sprawling city park spanning nearly 29 acres. It boasts a wide array of amenities for families to enjoy. The park features a generous playground, ample picnic areas, and an invigorating 1.23-mile walking trail. This scenic destination offers everything needed for a memorable day out with the kids. From a charming water park to two well-appointed play areas promoting children's physical development, there is something for everyone here.
Amazing Kids Park with Splash Area and Mini City! This park is an absolute gem for families! It features a fantastic splash park where kids can cool off and have a blast, along with great playground areas that offer plenty of space for climbing, sliding, and running around. One of the best parts is the mini city setup, where kids can feel like they're exploring a real downtown—such a creative and fun touch! The park is well-maintained and super clean, including the bathrooms, which is always a plus for parents. Whether you're looking for a fun day out or a place to let the kids' imaginations run wild, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend bringing your little ones here!

Welleby Park is truly a gem in the community! One of the first things that stands out is how clean and well-maintained the entire park is. From the walking trails to the playground areas, everything is spotless, and it’s clear that the staff takes great pride in keeping the park in top shape. The range of outdoor activities available is impressive. Whether you’re into jogging, biking, or just taking a peaceful stroll, the scenic trails are perfect. Families will love the open green spaces and well-designed play areas for kids. There’s something for everyone — from fitness enthusiasts to those just looking to relax. What really sets Welleby Park apart is its creativity. The park is designed with thoughtful touches that make it more than just a typical outdoor space. Unique play structures, shaded seating areas, and artistic elements give the park a fun and refreshing vibe. It’s a place where you can enjoy nature and feel inspired at the same time. Highly recommend Welleby Park for a clean, active, and creatively engaging day outdoors!

One of the most unique playground I’ve ever been to. The mini town is its own amusement park for the kids. It would make it even better if you can go inside the mini buildings, but I can also understand why you can’t. The exterior could use some TLC and touch up paint so I can’t imagine if they also have to do maintenance in the inside. My kids could spend hours and hours here. A huge playground, splash pad, mini town, walking trail, and covered picnic areas. So bring plenty of snacks and water because you’ll have a hard time getting your kids to leave.
Kristine C — Google review
Recently took my son to Welleby park. I have not been to this park in many years and I love that they have a mini city with miniature buildings and little streets for the kids to ride their bikes & scooter through. I also love the splash pad it’s so cute and great for this heat! My son likes coming here and I like that there are many shaded areas with seats so you can sit, chill, and still keep an eye on everyone.
Kishorn R — Google review
We had a group play date with my daughter friends. First stop was the splash pad that was pack but wasn't overwhelming. After the splash plate our daughters decided to visit the playground and they enjoyed every square foot it offers multiple slides then we took a stroll
Dante P — Google review
This park is absolutely fantastic! It’s so well designed and truly has something for everyone. The splash pads are amazing – clean, safe, and so much fun for the kids, especially on hot days. I love that the park has different play areas for all age groups, which makes it perfect for families with little ones and older kids alike. The entire space is spotless, with clean restrooms and plenty of water fountains throughout, which is such a big plus. There are also designated areas for parties and picnics, making it an ideal spot to celebrate special occasions or just enjoy a relaxing day outdoors. Between the splash pads, the playgrounds, and the welcoming atmosphere, this park has become one of our absolute favorites. Highly recommend!

We recently visited a new playground, and it turned out to be perfect for children of all ages. The playground is equipped with modern slides, climbing structures, and swings, suitable for both toddlers and older kids. Everything is well-designed to ensure safe and fun playtime. What I particularly liked was the nearby sports area for adults. While the kids are playing, parents can work out on the exercise equipment, use the pull-up bars, or just stretch. The playground is well-maintained and clean, providing all the necessary conditions for a comfortable visit.
Tatka P — Google review
Completed in 1989, Oscar Wind Park is located along State Road 84 and Interstate 75. When it opened it was the first park near Weston and Bonaventure, paid for with city money, The park was named in honor of Oscar Wind, the developer who donated the land in 1983 when the city annexed the area. In 1993, six more acres were added to the park as was a new softball field, a soccer/football field and a new park shelter. Today the park is looking better than ever. A new playground and outdoor fitness court were unveiled last month which increased the fitness and play options in the City of Sunrise. The new playground is ADA accessible with a wheelchair entry. It now has more than a dozen play structures including slides, swings, climbers, and a merry go round. Elements were added to foster learning, inspire music, and provide tactile games. The playground is covered in shade canopies and new seating and landscaping were added. Also brand new at Oscar Wind Park is the first Fitness Court in the city and it is also shade covered like the playground. The Fitness Court has an app on the side that teaches you how to use it. You do a circuit of exercises using your own body weight in order to condition and strengthen during work outs. It can be modified for all fitness levels. Additional park features included an open green space with a new 1/2 mile walking path, new landscaping, renovations to the restroom and picnic pavilion, and new LED lighting. My favorite improvement is that there is now a connecting walkway between Oscar Wind Park and Sawgrass Sanctuary Park. I like that you can do a really long walking circuit around both parks and never have to go into the road. The two parks blend together seamlessly. With the new additions to Oscar Wind Park, I think this is the best place in the city to enjoy nature, take the kids to play, and exercise.

My kids and I love this park. The playground is big and suitable for all ages, there’s also a beautiful walkway as well as fitness station. They close late too so that’s a plus for us.

I visited this park for the playground for my 2 year old but I realized that the “toddler” side of the playground literally only had one slide and one set of swings for them to play on. The older kids side had a much more elaborate playground set with ramps and steps and slides and swings and seesaws.

City park
City Park in Sunrise is a large park with paved biking and jogging trails, fishing and boating areas, a swimming pool complex with a mist pool, lockers and a snack bar, picnic tables and shade, bathrooms ac'd, and more. It's newly renovated with all the modern amenities including shaded picnic tables and a small water splash park.
City Park is a 5.5 acre park located on the east side of the city in one of Sunrise's original neighborhoods. It was one of the first parks built in the City of Sunrise. Through the years it had become run down and people stopped using it but in 2021 the park got a make over paid for by a bond referendum approved by voters. The park was redesigned to bring fun, fitness, and entertainment to city residents. Improvements to the park include an expansive 140-yard multipurpose field and amphitheater with a professional audiovisual system and a modern green room that is used for community events, concerts and sports. For fitness enthusiasts there is a quarter mile walking path along the outside of the field with seven outdoor exercise stations that use your own body weight to get you in shape. There is also a new playground with sun shades and splash pad so the kiddies can cool off after play. Two newly resurfaced tennis courts appeal to tennis players. While all of the new amenities are great the star of the park has to be the three fully covered and lighted basketball courts with professional rims and backboards. Every court was being used and enjoyed when I visited the park. With this park Sunrise lives up to its motto of "live, work and play in the city of Sunrise." Money from the bond also paid for improvements to the adjacent Village Multipurpose Center. Another welcome feature that helps visitors to feel safe day or night is security features throughout the park with emergency health stations. Rounding out the park are a pavilion that can be rented, gas barbecue grills, picnic tables, baby changing areas, bottle filling water fountains and mosaic chess boards. There are up to 100 available parking spots and bike lanes which connect the park to other community corridors. It took over a year to complete the renovations but now an underutilized park in the city has become a destination that has rejuvenated recreation in the city.

I celebrated my daughter's birthday party a couple weeks ago and the kids had a blast despite the rain later that day. The park isn't too big, but great for a small gathering. It's well kept with a playground, splash pad, basketball court and etc.

City of Sunrise gave this old neighborhood park a new face lift. It has a small water splash park with a secure playground. Of you take a walk around the park you'll find those built in exercise stations around the park. It's clean and fairy new. The picnic table area is shaded with multiple benches. Oh the bathrooms are ac'ed. Talk about luxury.

Family friendly area. Plenty space to play. Highly recommended. Clean park. City of sunrise is adamant about bringing the community together
Vicky Z — Google review
This is a great park very clean. Not many amenities for children like only 2 baby swings and 2 small play areas. There is a space for basketball and soccer. There need to be city personnel staffed to oversee the park only once in a while you see a staff member.

City Park is a very big park located in Sunrise. The park has designated parking spaces, a covered amphitheater/stage, a grass field that serves as a multi-purpose area for community events, concerts, and a variety of sports; a path around for walking, running,  jogging, biking, etc.; surrounded by outdoor exercise stations. It also has two covered picnic pavilions available for rent with tables and gas grills; benches around the park; Chess tables (don't forget to bring your own Chess pieces). The park has water and bottle filling stations and well maintained restrooms. For the kiddos the park offers the splash pad which is small but lot of fun and the shaded playground. The playground is divided into two areas one for children under 5 and the other one for older kiddos. It also has 4 swings two of them for small children. The floor surface is rubber which is very safe and convenient. Finally, there are two tennis courts and three covered basketball courts. The park also features Emergency Call Stations and Video Surveillance Cameras.

We visited the City Park for a birthday party. There is plenty of parking and it is well lit after 5:30 PM. There is a lot of open space to play like a the field. The basketball court was filled with teenagers playing ball. The playground has a plenty equipment to play with swings and slides for various ages.

Playtown Museum is a children's play center located in a shopping center. It offers a clean and professional party venue where they cater to every detail of your child's dream celebration. The entry fee is $14, with an additional $12 for each extra child. Socks with grips are required for kids, which can be purchased on-site for $3.50, while adults can wear regular socks.
Thank you for a beautiful and memorable party for my daughter (and her brother who loved it equally)! All the guest had so many great things to say about the time they spent there. The venue was so clean and had many options for play and dress up. We all felt so safe with the activities and the fact that we knew everyone there for the private party. The mermaid they use for entertainment was one of the best entertainers I’ve seen! She had all the kids attention captured! Usually I’ve seen it where only like 2 kids are watching and the rest are playing. I know my daughter will keep this day as a cherished memory, with equally beautiful photos!

We held my daughter’s 2nd birthday at Playtown Museum, it was the best location!! We did the Relax and Enjoy package with a Frozen theme. The decorations were beautiful!! They set up the whole thing, including the guests tables and provide all the paper goods you need as well. The food was delicious. We supplied a few extra platters in addition to the finger foods and pizza included but we didn’t need that much additional food. The desserts included were also delicious. They coordinated the cake as well which was an extra charge but the design was gorgeous and it was also delicious. My daughter has a dairy allergy so they were able to make a small cake for her that was allergy friendly as well. The place is clean and the kids had a blast! We had Elsa and Olaf come as the entertainment and they were very interactive and kept the kids busy. We held it on a Sunday morning and parking was very easy (it can be tough an other times). The staff is so friendly easy to work with planning the party and during the party. I cannot recommend it enough!!!

Truly the Best Birthday Party Experience We celebrated our daughter’s fourth birthday at Playtown Museum, and it was beyond what we hoped for. Every detail was handled with care, and we actually got to enjoy the day, stress-free. - Spotless: The entire place was sparkling clean. It felt safe, fresh, and welcoming. - Family-friendly design: From real changing tables to thoughtful bathroom setups, they’ve clearly thought of what parents actually need. - Amazing staff: Everyone was kind, attentive, and on top of everything. - Flawless service: We booked the Relax & Enjoy package, and it lived up to its name. They handled it all. - Beautifully decorated: The party setup was stunning, with thoughtful little details that made it feel truly special. - Delicious food: Perfect for kids and adults. - Top-tier entertainment: The character was a total pro, not just dressed up, but fully in character, engaging the kids like magic. Our daughter was absolutely glowing. It was joyful, smooth, and unforgettable. If you’re looking for a birthday party spot that goes above and beyond, this is it.

I dreamed of a party where my daughter could truly have fun. She was turning 2, and I wanted a safe place where she could be free to play, and where I, as a mom, could also have a moment to chat without constantly worrying about her safety. And that’s exactly what happened. It was a beautiful party, filled with love and care, in a very safe environment. All the toys were thoroughly cleaned before the event started, and while I was setting up the decorations, I could see the dedication and professionalism of the staff. I highly recommend this place to all the moms who are looking to throw a peaceful, stress-free party.

Large room, all the toys, "houses", etc were good quality. Spent 1.5hrs with 2y and 4y and they loved it. If you had an imaginative 5/6y/7y they'd like it too. They had puzzles, books and baby area too. No screens! Quite music! Offered a treat/sticker at the end for free. Had snacks/coffee for sale. Bathrooms with change table available. Very fun, kids loved it. Cheaper than other places too and a fair amount of space. They used a scented cleaner that I found too strong but it wasn't as bad as some places. We'll be back!

Sunrise Sportsplex is a top favorite among parks in Sunrise, offering a clean paved walking path, spacious baseball fields and batting area, picnic tables under shaded areas, soccer fields, and a water filling station. The fenced playground features separate sections for little kids and big kids with rubber flooring for safety. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and ample space for various physical activities such as exercising and skating.
What a great park! I love my city of Sunrise. We have such wonderful parks and leisure services and activities, and it really brings a nice sense of community togetherness. I've been in this city my entire life, and it hasn't disappointed me yet! Kudos City of Sunrise!!

Attended a free concert last night at this location for first time to see this local band Havoc 305. Nice park adequate space. Tunes and (food) trucks event. Although a small band they produced great vocals, good harmony, and good song choices. Lead singer very talented. Very entertaining evening.

Top 5 favorite parks in Sunrise. Nice and clean paved walking path around the park. Huge baseball fields and batting area. There are plenty of picnic tables and under a shaded area near the restrooms. There are soccer fields as well and a water filling station. The playground is fenced in and pretty big. There's a little kids and big kids section and three benches. The floor is rubber so if kids fell, it wouldn't hurt has much. My only qualm is the road in the park that connects the two parking lots; just be careful with walking with you kids because there's no railing (by the soccer field). Some cars do drive a little fast on it.

I had my daughter’s first birthday party at this indoor park, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Everything was clean, well-organized, and the staff went above and beyond to make the day special. They helped us set up and clean up, which took so much stress off my plate. The cake table they decorated was absolutely perfect—exactly what I envisioned and more. You can really tell they care about the details. Compared to other places we looked into, this experience was far superior. I highly recommend this venue to any parent looking for a fun, stress-free, and beautiful place to celebrate a special occasion!

We were invited to a 3 year old party here and my toddler had a blast. We were greeted by friendly faces and they provide socks for you if you forget yours. The place is really clean and spacious. Perfect venue for a private party. There’s plenty of tables and chairs for parents to sit. They provided hotdogs, pizzas, popcorn, and drinks at the snack bar. My son was obsessed with the Lego wall and pile, and the only recommendation I have is for them to take out the broken ones and add new ones. Overall, great experience at the Recess Kids Club.

Love this kids indoor play place. It’s very laid back and affordable pricing, too. My older child loves to play here and they have a separate baby/toddler area for my younger child. I also love that you can see the whole play area from the seating area. Pretty clean as well.

We really love this small indoor playground with big slides and most importantly the AC works greatttt! We've already taken my 2 year old there about 5 times in 2 weeks and she lovesss it, we've only had a bad experience once (today) with a group of mom's with big kids that where out of control and hurting the little kids while playing, the staff did say something to them but the parents where just careless and more worried about their chat than what the kids where doing. Other than that we love it, we've even made some friends ❤️
Jennifer C — Google review
This place has a lot of potential, but our experience this afternoon was mixed. Pros: • Admission is very reasonably priced compared to other indoor playgrounds. • The space is large and open, which is great. Cons: • The main play structure is designed for kids ages 5–12. Since I brought my 1.5- and 3.5-year-olds, they didn’t have much to do. The toddler area is small and works for babies and very young toddlers, but once a child is closer to 3, there’s not much there to hold their attention. It would really help if there were more age-appropriate activities for toddlers—things like play kitchens, play houses, or pretend-play stations. Right now, it feels like there’s a big gap between the toddler corner and the main play area. • Safety and supervision were the biggest issues. During our visit, there were a lot of older kids (probably 10–12 years old) playing very rough. They were climbing on top of the play structure, jumping off into the ball pit, throwing balls across the room, and tossing foam blocks and toys down the slide. At one point, I had to ask one of them to stop because he almost hit my baby. • I didn’t notice any parents keeping an eye on these kids, and the girl at the front desk wasn’t paying attention at all. It gave the impression that no one was monitoring what was going on inside. • Even the toddler area wasn’t a safe escape—older kids were in there too, making a mess and taking over the space, which left very little for the actual toddlers. It felt chaotic and stressful trying to protect my younger children while they played. Overall, it didn’t feel like a safe environment for small kids, which unfortunately overshadowed the positives. With more active staff supervision, some rules enforced for age-appropriate play, and a few additional toddler-friendly options, this could become a fantastic spot for families.

This is a nice, clean, new place we enjoyed exploring today. It'd be great to bring kids on a day off from school or bad weather day. There's plenty to do from toddler through about 10 yrs or so. Our kids were entertained for several hours and didn't want to leave. The employee was so sweet to do crafts and little science experiments with them. They had a lot of fun and it wasn't overly expensive.
