Restaurant
Peppermill is a popular spot known for its awesome food and great pricing. It's a go-to place for comfort food or a take-away lunch, offering a compact version of Sunday roast and the option to watch games while dining in. The service is fast and friendly, with delicious options like omelettes, bagels with scrambled eggs, and generous breakfast portions at fantastic prices. Visitors love the natural orange juice, welcoming staff, bright interior, and overall good quality of food.
Chosen from Google maps restaurants search, and then ‘Irish’ we were nor prepared to be directed to the back end of a business/retail park! But we were very glad that we found it. Excellent food and good size portions, no room for sweet, three mains, 2 coffees and a Coke for under €54 or £45. Evidently popular with people on the park, but also noticed some retired, and also drivers getting takeaways. Everything very slick at a busy time of the day.

I went here with my husband and kids for breakfast/brunch on a Saturday morning and we were very pleased with all the delicious options available. The servers were very polite and quick. They make some delicious suggestions if you are undecided because all the food is so good!!! The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge!! Very good value for money and the seating upstairs was comfortable and very well spaced We will definitely be visiting again whenever we want to get out for a quick meal.

The Peppermill is a brilliant restaurant with fabulous quality food, friendly staff and top notch service. I've dined at the Peppermill several times and the food has always been excellent and the price is reasonable. Their barista coffee is fantastic and they do a lovely sourdough bread. I'd highly recommend the Peppermill.

Location is inside an industrial area. It's surprisingly excellent ! Very good breakfast! The best waffles I've eaten anywhere in Ireland, hands down! Would recommend big time. The staff was very friendly
AEGV V — Google review
Generous portions of excellent food served by friendly staff at fair prices. Best meal I've had in Ennis in 7 days. I'll be back to try more. The breakfast looks really good.
Jerry J — Google review
Love eating here. The food is delicious and very good quality.
Claudiana C — Google review
Very disappointing. I visited here on Thursday morning for breakfast with my mam and granda and the portion is so ridiculously small for the price. It wasn’t a mini breakfast we ordered, it was the full Irish!! The ‘potato cakes’ were definitely yesterdays mash , beans or anything else were add on. I visited here about a year ago or so and the portions were normal but they have since switched to tiny rectangular plates to get away with small portions but still the price was expensive for what you get and the quality. Anyway I won’t be returning.
Jessica P — Google review
A fast casual coffee shop, bakery, and lunch counter. Warm, friendly interior and homemade classics. Get a hot lunch (think mash, roasted meats, juicy messy sandwiches) or a lovely breakfast (pancakes, eggs, house made toast) with tea or full coffee bar. Tucked into an unassuming little warehouse-type collection of buildings.

The service is prompt, ensuring that guests leave satisfied. Customers can expect delicious food and great coffee at this cozy cafe with friendly and attentive staff.
Great atmosphere, Very hospitable staff, Delicious breakfast and lunch. Suitable for all ages with plenty of options of freshly cooked food. Looks smaller from outside but inside there is plenty of seating area.
Jawad Z — Google review
A lovely cafe, spread out over three floors. Staff were friendly and professional. Plenty of seating, not too crushed. We had the mini-breakfast. It was delicious, so good I forgot to take a photo. If you don't like your beans touching the rest of your food, you will have to let them know. The bathroom is on the top floor. Lots of steps, I did see a few people with crutches going up the stairs. The place was clean.
Kerry B — Google review
I love the place it's very beautiful. But the Italian omelet missed the spot. The Italian sausage wasn't even mixed into the omelet it was just a couple of slices lol. The coffee was great.
AEGV V — Google review
Great café. Staff are friendly, tend to your needs while also giving you space to enjoy your food and company. Vegetarian breakfast was delicious, perfect portion size, and excellent value. Will definitely visit next time we're in Ennis!
Alex H — Google review
Have been going here regularly for years and have never had a problem until recently. In the last couple of months, there's been a very steep decline in the quality of the food & ingredients unfortunately. The potatoes have been rotten multiple times, The gravy had an extremely weird taste, The vegetables have been completely unseasoned every time we have ordered. This has been the number one café in town for multiple years but this decline in quality hasn't gone unnoticed. Please sort it out! We miss Café Aroma.
Anonymous R — Google review
Had a lovely mini breakfast this morning. Would definitely recommend this place. While we were here, it did get very busy. We returned on Saturday for our second breakfast. We enjoyed it as much as the first day.
Steve B — Google review
Friendly service, great food, busy, nice atmosphere and lots of choices
Marty F — Google review
Sort of a mixed experience. I ordered the eggs Benedict. The eggs were overcooked. The hollandaise sauce had way too much lemon in it and lack character. There were 5 potatoes edges in the plate (are you saving money on potatoes?) which made the dish look a little less enthusiastic. Coffee was really, really, but really horrible. Poor coffee machine maintenance or poor quality coffee? Here is a tip, coffee shop MUST at least serve good coffees, don't you agree? On the other hand, the apple pie was one of the best I ever had. Service was nice. Price really adequate. All in all, I might come back and try something else but it is not a place I would recommend right out of the bat.

Hadn't been here in years and saw a few social media posts lately of the food and said I'd try again. Went in for lunch and the food was lovely! Had the avocado BLT and the broccoli soup - was so tasty 😋 price was spot on. Will definitely be back to check out the rest of lunch menu.

I mean the food wad nice the service not so great, lots of people working but no direction, we ordered breakfast, I had full but didn't get a full as some ingredients were missing, in fairness they only charged for a mini, they could add a couple more beans also, we had to ask multiple times for tea and toast I mean what a struggle toast brought no butter, tea brought no milk I mean three breakfast ordered only two teas brought, if someone orders breakfast bring the tea while they wait and some toast, food was nice but service was very poor atleast 5 waiters walking around with no direction and an obvious sign that they need a leader to guide them, would not return with that service hopefully was just once off, kids had there food eaten by time we got ours, anyhow

Fin C — Google review
I visited this place recently and really enjoyed the food and the cozy atmosphere – everything on the menu was delicious, and the environment felt warm and welcoming. However, I feel it's important to mention that I was deeply disappointed to discover that one of the staff members has been actively engaging in online hate, including writing racist comments and participating in online bullying. This kind of behavior does not align with the values of respect and inclusivity that many of us hope to see reflected both in real life and online. I've attached a photo showing just one example of the harmful things this individual has posted. Sadly, this is not an isolated incident. I hope the management takes this seriously, as the actions of even one employee can negatively affect the reputation of an otherwise great establishment. Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected, both offline and online.

Breakfast restaurant
McDonald's is a well-known fast-food chain famous for its burgers, fries, and shakes. It has been serving customers for many years with its classic menu items. The restaurant offers a breakfast menu in the morning and operates drive-thru locations in various regions. While some customers have experienced inconsistencies in service quality at different branches, others have praised specific locations for their outstanding customer service, cleanliness, and delicious food.
The lady at the window was absolutely lovely. I had the wrap and it was huge. Very tasty.
Margaret M — Google review
The order included the wrong sauce, there was no sauce inside the burgers, no onions, one cutlet seemed to have been chewed. usually everything is fine, but the one who collected the order today is just a *****
Абикор — Google review
Guess I'll just never eat McDonald's again. Spent an hour's worth of wages on a double quarter pounder (half pounder?) meal and a side of mozzarella sticks (garlic bread sticks). While the restaurant is clearly kept clean, the food ain't great. Burger is dry throughout. I must request salt for my room temperature fries and I have to pay a premium to have sugar in my coke. Fair enough, nobody expects gourmet dining from Micky D. It's moreso the cost that has me reeling. The cost was equivalent to one hour of hard labour and was a solid 4 out of 10. So thank you McDonald's for making me reexamine my personal finances. I will no longer look to you as a cheap and cheerful solution to my hunger and instead will explore more local small businesses. Hope I can upload the pic of the 4 quids worth of mozzarella sticks with the salt packet for scale.

Very nice clean restaurant parking can be hard at times. The restaurant is generally packed more so the drive through than the indoor seating but expect it hard to find seating during school days

Everybody knows that McDonald's is meant to be the place, where customer can expect same flavours and same level of service. Well, McDonald's ENNIS is not the same! It is the best! Popped into for a quick breakfast while exploring beautiful county Clare and was pleasently surprised by how dedicated are people who work there! Breakfast was perfect and customer service was outstanding! Cleanliness of the whole place is to be proud of! Honestly, I think it is cleanest McDonald's restaurant in Ireland, and I've been to good few of them! I mean it! Clean tables, seats, floors, inside and outside of the restaurant, even lampposts are being regularly cleaned! People who work at McDonald's ENNIS, make this place different! And months later, in 2024 now it is still the same! Very friendly, tidy, clean and very professional! Great example for other brand locations within the country and beyond! Well done McDonald's Ennis Team! Thank you!

Super cosy cafe, just off the market place in centre of Ennis. Nice choice on the menu and very friendly and happy staff. Would highly recommend the Goats Cheese and Beetroot salad, it was absolutely delicious, of seriously generous size and had a great balance and mix of ingredients. Le Chéile cafe is a delightful establishment that boasts a fantastic ambiance and friendly individuals. Although it may have been disappointing for one individual who visited on a Sunday, the overall experience is still commendable. The fishcakes with salad were described as petite, resembling more of an appetizer than a main course. However, this did not deter others from enjoying the lovely lunch spot. The coffee served at Le Chéile was deemed delicious and the food itself was considered tasty by many.
Wonderful café. Great food and atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit. The avocado, egg and black pudding dish was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

We arrived after 4pm on a Sunday after a cycle. It was our own fault that we didn't go earlier as their main specials and desserts were gone. No fault in the food we ordered, everything was delicious, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. One thing that does come to mind was that there were a lot of flies in the dining area. Probably due to the doors opening but it was a turn off while eating. Cant wait to go back (at an earlier time).

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The lamb special was delicious! ...very tender lamb, veg and mash were nice along with gravy. The club sandwich wasn't great and the string chips were soft and greasy. Coffee was good. Had the cookies tasted ok - seemed a few days old as they were soft because the chocolate bar on top was stale. A bit overpriced for what we got. Overall, I would go back just for dinner and the coffee.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way from Galway to Limerick, and what a nice and cozy place it is—both inside and out! They even have outdoor dining under a roof, which I found really lovely. The staff were very friendly, and our server, Line, made sure we got our food quickly and exactly as we ordered. I highly recommend this place!

Really nice breakfast. One of the better full Irish I’ve had in a long time.

Warehouse Bistro Ennis is a delightful gem that you might easily overlook, but trust me, it's worth seeking out! This charming spot boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere where the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The menu features an array of delicious options, from freshly prepared meals to divine coffees that rival those from larger establishments. I had the pleasure of trying their Penne all Arrabbiata, which was simply amazing!
Oh my lord what a pleasant surprise!! We happened upon this lovely shop today, staff were super friendly, the shop smelled amazing! We ordered 2 coffees and a Baileys Cheesecake. I'm in love!! Coffees we're divine and the Cheesecake was perfect. 5 stars. Definitely reccomend. Will be returning for a breakfast ❤️😍

I've never even noticed this place before I wouldn't pass this area very often but I will definitely be back. My food was delicious my daughter ordered vegetable soup which is what it said on the menu but it was mushroom that came out but it was very quickly changed to something else and the waiter was very nice about changing it. The waiter that served us was very good at his job and very friendly as was all the staff whenever anyone entered the restaurant. Also the prices are very good here.

Ordered the chicken triple decker sandwich and it was rotten to put it mildly. I hate posting a negative like this on a place with mainly high reviews but I'm posting for feedback purposes. The place was very clean and the lady who served me was pleasant. I would've returned it but I was in a rush to get on the road again and honestly I feel like they wouldn't have had a problem with that so thats why it gets 3 stars. My gripe is the bread was barely toasted so it was soggy and while the chicken was nice it was hard taste anything else with the amount of white sauce it was smothered in (like coleslaw if that makes sense) & it wasn't made very well. I'd say something if it was in the evening but this was at 1:30 and the place was quiet. I'm sure most other items on their menu would be nice but if you can't do a sandwich right then I'm not so sure.
